Okay but one thing that is consistent in the show is cas betraying dean right? Like he keeps withholding information or doing the exact opposite of what should be done because cas thinks he’s doing the right thing. But despite all of this, the many many times cas betrays him, even to the point of putting the one thing (sam) that is most important to dean in harms way, dean forgives him almost instantly each time. The amount of times he reiterates throughout that cas is family. That over the years he has become almost if not just as important as sam. Even in the last couple of episodes when he is unable to let go of his anger at jack (even though jack had a more solid excuse than cas has ever had), dean’s reasoning is ‘he’s not sam or cas’

I don't know if it's just me, but it seems like the Gangreen Gang section of the fandom has been a little extra dead lately? I've been checking the tag nearly everyday and there's almost never anything new 😭

To be fair, I know I'm part of the problem. My writing has slowed down a lot and I don't make posts as often as I used to, and it's not like there's some obligatory minimum amount of content that needs to be produced at all times. But it does feel a bit disheartening when most of the people that used to make interesting posts and really cool art semi regularly have seemed to move on.

I have to wonder if HPL's ill health had an influence to it. Like obviously a major factor in the story's inception is his racism, but the idea of one's body changing in a way that you find disgusting...

I could see a reimagining of Deep Ones almost as the manifestation of disability or illness that makes it difficult to upkeep "normal" appearances. Taking to the ocean because it's too hard to stand anymore, and letting the water support your body. You can actually move and swim and get stronger this way!

You can suffer as a human with little to no sympathy. Or you could take to the waters and find accessibility and acceptance...

so Ari let's Rocky know she might be pregnant right away, no keeping it secret this time 😔 specially because she was lowkey freaking out over Toby only being about 5-6 months old

meanwhile with Sophie it was all more casual. like Toby and Lucy play-fighting in the background and Ari blurts out a "btw i'm pregnant again" casual gdsKGDSDSK

and i imagine Rocky's responses are always the "picking Ari up and spinning her around then smothering her face with kisses" type 💕💞💝💞💕
