So I went to the wiki page for the henghill Bullet & Brain mission of 2.2 looking for some dialogue I had missed and
a) I found something incredibly tasty that slotted into some other thoughts I'd been having, more on that on another day, and
b) I saw this super fun little trivia at the bottom, which!
I knew Penacony characters like Boothill took a lot of inspirations from old movies, but I didn't realize it was even in his and Dan Heng's relationship, that's so cool!!
It fits them very well, it's such a fun reference. "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid" was an old buddy Western film (from 1969- nice) about a pair of outlaws. Butch Cassidy was the leader of a gang, and described as clever, affable, and talkative. Meanwhile, his closest companion, the Sundance Kid, was known as a man of few words.
Cassidy's original birth name was much more plain, but similar to Boothill, he took on a new moniker when he became an outlaw. "Cassidy" had been the last name of his beloved mentor, who taught him how to shoot and ride. And Sundance Kid was known as he was because Sundance was the name of his hometown, and it was the only place that had ever managed to catch and jail him, back when he'd been younger (also similar to Dan Heng, but ouch).
These two stick together like glue throughout the length of the film- through Cassidy's leadership of the gang being challenged, through a train robbery gone wrong, through being pursued by mercenaries, and even through fleeing to Bolivia and trying to start over together.
I don't want to say too much more, since the mission title is referencing one specific movie that I've never seen. I kinda wanna watch it now, though, just to see the inspiration that went into Boothill and Dan Heng and how they get along. I just think it's really sweet that these two were literally made to be the best of bros, how lovely is that. đ
#honkai star rail#this can be ship or plantonic tbh yall are always free to tag my ramblings as you please haha#just! they're so sweet!!#FWENDS#i would love to see more of them being a dynamic duo further down the line âĄ#i think the film moved things along a little quicker but the real life Cassidy and Sundance were actually in south america for a few years#they fled there to get away from pursuers along with Sundance's girlfriend Etta Place.#supposedly they managed to buy a small ranch and the three of them lived peacefully (and even lawfully!) together for like three years-#-until the law caught up with them again#at some point Etta Place returned to the US reportedly due to illness rather than not wanting to get caught like in the film#Sundance may or may not have escorted her back. but whether he did or not he returned to South America with Cassidy#the two of them eventually got into a huge firefight with authorities where Sundance was fatally shot and Cassidy chose to end his own life#that's the most common story anyway. some also say Cassidy snuck back into the US again where he lived quietly until his death.#but it reads kind of like rumors of Elvis Presley sightings to me BSMZKNSKS#the film ended much more happily with the two of them getting into shenanigans and a freeze frame of them in a hail of bullets haha#i wanna see Dan Heng and Boothill fight together too it would be so cool aaaaaa#they would be great at getting into shenanigans! as we've already seen!!#fun bonus info: Boothill's ult literally puts black bars at the top and bottom of the screen to look like a widescreen Western movie#fun bonus info 2: Cassidy was regarded with respect by some people bc he never stole from the poor he only robbed big companies#this is actually nicer than Boothill is in canon bc he openly admits he will rob someone blind if he doesn't like them BSKZKKZMSKDK#(although I feel like its implied he has more standards for this than he gives himself credit for.#like he makes it pretty clear he doesn't particularly like Argenti at first and thinks he's annoying as shit but I'm sure he didn't rob him#...would have been real fucking funny if he did though oh my god I would love to see him try that. it absolutely would not work BSKZKNSKSJS#hsr#henghill#bootheng#dan heng#boothill#hsr boothill#hsr dan heng

omg wtf . sorry that ur art got stolen :-[ . probably reach out to them and ask them to take it down and if they dont then probably spread awareness . gl
yeah i reached out a couple days ago, did again today. hopefully they take it down so i don't have to make trouble... at least i can be happy that they liked my art enough to want to steal it haha :'D but thank you!!
#melonposting#ask#anon#normally i wouldn't make a fuss about this but it just feels kinda strange for someone to repost my art within the art community i inhabit#y'know?#like that one silly bfdi character theme song video that stole my art? yeah i didn't really mind that that much#because it's not as if people making those kinds of videos are trying to claim the art they use as their own anyway#and it was on youtube and i don't really post art there much. so that wasn't really my space anyway#(also it was pretty funny. the video used like a photo of a computer screen with my art on it)#but this? it just rubs me the wrong way a little bit :[#i'm kind of hesitant to do much about it though...#because there was this incident on scratch where someone stole and reposted my friend's art#and when this person took the stolen art down i thanked them for doing so#but the person was able to misconstrue that for the purposes of reporting me and having me temporarily suspended?#it wasn't very fun :(#i doubt the same thing will happen here but y'know. i'd like to be cautious!!!#hopefully this gets resolved quickly :'D

Into it â” Matt Sturniolo
warnings: dry humping, soft!dom!reader, pet names (sweetheart, honey, my sweet boy)
synopsis: Matt is struggling with a persistent headache from hours of staring at his computer screen. Meanwhile, you find yourself unexpectedly captivated by how differentâand attractiveâMatt looks with his glasses on.
there's 400 of you already!! love you guys <3
Matt rubbed his temples as the dull ache behind his eyes intensified, the glow of the computer screen doing nothing to help. Heâd been staring at it for hours, the spreadsheet blurring before him. Finally, with a sigh, he reached into his backpack and pulled out his blue light glasses.
âMan, I hate these things,â he muttered under his breath, sliding them on.
The glasses framed his face differently, the sleek black design making him look more focused, sharper. He blinked a few times, his headache already starting to ease, and went back to his work, not noticing the way you had suddenly gone very quiet.
You sat across from him, tapping at your laptop with a rhythm that had slowly died the moment Matt had put those glasses on. Your fingers hovered over the keyboard now, completely still, as you stole another glance his way.
He looked⊠Good. Really good.
Youâd never paid much attention to Matt's glasses before, but for some reason, today was different. Maybe it was the way the lenses caught the light, making his blue eyes stand out, or how they seemed to give him this air of intelligence and quiet confidence. Whatever it was, you couldnât stop staring.
âBaby?â Matt's voice cut through your thoughts, and you blinked, realizing youâd been caught.
âHuh?â you replied, your voice just a bit too high.
âI asked if you could double-check these numbers. You okay?â His brow furrowed in concern, but his gaze was calm behind those lenses.
âOh! Yeah, totally.â You cleared your throat, tearing your eyes away from him and focusing on the screen. Your cheeks warmed, and you prayed he couldnât see the blush creeping up your neck.
But as you tried to concentrate, you kept stealing glances, biting your lip as the thought kept circling in your headâHow is it possible for someone to look so good in glasses?
âI, um⊠I think everything checks out,â you said, looking up at him with a small smile.
Matt reached out and took your hand, gently pulling you into his lap. He wanted to feel you close to him, to wrap his arms around you and hold you tight.
He leaned in and nuzzled his face into your neck, inhaling your scent and placing a soft kiss on your skin. His hands continued to rove over your legs and sides, moving in slow, soothing motions. His lips continued to move against your neck, leaving a trail of kisses along your skin as he inhaled your scent. The feeling of you in his lap, your weight on him, was so comforting and satisfying. You felt so light and delicate, and he was overcome with a protective feeling towards you.
Matt could feel you relaxing more and more into him, your body melting into his like you were made to fit together. He moved his arms around your waist, pulling you even closer to him. He could feel your soft curves pressing against him, and he couldn't help but feel a stirring of desire in his core.
He continued to nuzzle his face against your neck, his lips leaving feather-light kisses along your skin. His hands moved up your sides, gently tracing your shape and memorizing every contour of your body.
âHow's your head, my sweet boy?â you asked softly.
He smiled at your endearment, feeling warmth spread through his chest. He loved when you called him your sweet boy, it always made him feel cared for and loved.
âMy head is doing alright, honey,â he said, his voice soft. âI feel better with you in my arms.â
You giggled. âGlad to hear it.â
He chuckled at your giggle, feeling his heart skip a beat at the sound of your laughter. He pulled back so he could look you in the eyes, his hands still gently holding your sides.
âI don't think any medication could have worked as well as you,â he said, his tone teasing. âI should probably just make you my personal headache cure from now on.â
You looked at him with amusement before reaching up. He smiled as you fixed his glasses, your touch gentle and caring. He loved it when you did little things like that, it made him feel loved and cared for in such a simple way.
âYou know, I wasn't sure about wearing these,â he said, gesturing to his glasses. âBut seeing how much you seem to like them, I might have to wear them more often.â
âThey make me feel⊠Some type of way,â you admitted sheepishly.
His smile widened as you admitted that his glasses made you feel a certain way. He was intrigued by the idea that something as simple as glasses could have an effect on you.
âOh, really?â he teased. âAnd what kind of way do they make you feel, honey? Don't be shy now.â
âThe 'I wanna jump you' kind of way.â
He let out a low, surprised moan when you said that, his body reacting in an instant. The thought of you being so turned on by something as simple as his glasses stirred something deep inside him.
âIs that so?â he asked, his voice a bit rougher than before. âAnd here I was thinking that these glasses made me look stupid.â
You laughed at his statement before shaking your head. âOn the contrary,â you said, your eyes raking over him. âYou look incredibly smart, and incredibly sexy in those glasses.â
You leaned in, your lips brushing against his ear as you continued in a low, sultry voice. âYou look like a goddamn sex God sitting there with your legs spread, wearing your glasses and all. It's doing things to me, you have no idea.â
He felt a shiver run down his spine as your lips brushed against his ear and you whispered your words in that sultry tone. He felt a rush of desire and arousal at your words, and he felt himself harden even more in his pants.
âGod, honey,â he groaned. âYou can't say things like that to me when I'm already this worked up.â
You giggled playfully at his response, clearly enjoying the effect you were having on him. Your tongue poked out to wet your lips as you looked down at his lap, noticing the obvious bulge in his pants.
âOh, I can tell,â you teased, your tone sultry. âI can see you're already hard. Does it turn you on that I think your glasses are sexy?â
He swallowed hard, his throat feeling dry. He was painfully hard in his pants, and your words were making him even more turned on. The combination of your sultry tone and the way you were looking at him was driving him wild.
âYes,â he admitted, his voice low and rough. âYes, it does. The thought of you wanting me like this, just because of a pair of glasses, is making me insane.â
You smirked, clearly pleased with his response. You leaned in closer, your lips right next to his ear.
âYou have no idea, my sweet boy,â you murmured. âYou have no idea how badly I want you right now, how much your glasses turn me on. I'm practically dripping at the thought of having you, all worked up and wearing your glasses.â
His body trembled at your words, his breath catching in his chest. Your words were like gasoline on an already raging fire, stoking the flames of his desire. The thought of you being so turned on by him, just because of his glasses, was driving him wild.
âOh God,â he groaned, his voice strained. âPlease...don't tease me like that, honey. I can't take much more of this.â
He felt you straddle him, your legs on each side of his hips. He instinctively reached to hold your hips, feeling the heat radiating off of you and the way your body pressed against his. You were sitting on his lap, and the feeling was driving him crazy.
âJesus, sweetheart,â he breathed, his voice tight. âAre you trying to kill me?â
âMaybe I am,â you teased, your voice sultry. âMaybe I'm just trying to drive you insane.â
You began to roll your hips against his, grinding against him and feeling his hardness even through the layers of clothing. You smiled as you watched his face contort with pleasure at your movements.
âYou feel so good,â you purred, your hands running up and down his chest. âAnd you look even better with those glasses on.â
He let out a low moan as you rolled your hips against him, the friction of your body rubbing against his sending waves of pleasure through his body. Feeling your wetness through your pants, grinding against him, was driving him crazy.
âGod, honey,â he gasped, his voice strained. âYou're going to kill me if you keep doing that.â
âAnd what a way to die,â you teased, your tongue poking out to wet your lips as you continued grinding against him. âYou're hard and throbbing under me, and all because I like your glasses. How does it feel, my sweet boy?â
He felt his body responding to your movements, his hips instinctively bucking up to meet your grinding. He was so hard, it was almost painful, and the thought that you were enjoying this so much just because of his glasses was driving him wild.
âIt feels amazing,â he groaned. âYou have no idea how good you feel against me. I never knew my glasses could have this effect on you.â
âThere's something about a smart, hot man wearing glasses that just does it for me,â you admitted, your voice dripping with desire. âYou look so intelligent, so focused, and it's such a turn-on. And when you look at me over the rim of your glasses, it makes me want to devour you.â
He let out a guttural moan at your words, his grip on your hips tightening as he felt his desire for your grow even more. He loved seeing you so turned on and wanting him, and the thought that his glasses were part of the reason was incredible.
âYou're killing me, honey,â he groaned. âYou're so goddamn hot right now, and you know it. I don't know how much more I can take.â
You ground against him even harder, your movements becoming more insistent and desperate. You could feel how hard he was, how much he wanted you, and it only added to your own desire and need for him.
âMaybe I want to drive you over the edge,â you whispered, your voice sultry. âMaybe I want to see how much you can take before you break.â
âGod, you're going to make me lose my mind,â he panted, his voice tight with desire. âIf you keep talking and moving like that, I'm not going to be able to hold back much longer.â
You smiled, satisfied with his response. You could tell that he was close, that he was struggling to keep his control.
âIs that right?â you teased. âAre you going to give in to me, my sweet boy? Are you going to let go and let me take care of you?â
âGod, yes,â he groaned, his voice hoarse with desire. âGod, yes, I want you so badly. I need you to take care of me, honey. Just please, for the love of God, don't torture me any longer.â
You giggled at his desperation, loving the power you held over him at this moment. You could tell that he was close to breaking point, and you loved the effect you had on him.
âI love when you're so desperate for me like this,â you whispered, your mouth right next to his ear. âIt's so hot to know that I have this much control over you.â
He shivered at your words, his body responding to your voice and your closeness. He felt like he was on the edge, ready to fall over any second. He was completely at your mercy, and he loved it.
âPlease, honey,â he panted, his voice strained. âPlease, I need you. I need you so badly. Don't make me wait any longer.â
You grinned, relishing in his pleading and desperation. You loved having him like this, so desperate and needy for you.
âOkay, my sweet boy,â you murmured, your voice low and sultry. âI'll give you what you want. Just let go, and let me take care of you.â
His breath caught in his chest as you rocked against him, his grip on your hips tightening even more. He could feel himself getting closer and closer to the edge, his body tensing up and his mind going blank from the pleasure.
âOh God,â he gasped, his voice strained. âOh God, honey, you're going to make me lose it. I'm so close, so closeâŠâ
You loved how desperate and on the edge he was, and you loved that you was the one doing this to him. You kept up your movements, riding him harder and faster, determined to push him over the edge. âLet go, my sweet boy,â you whispered, your mouth right next to his ear again. âJust let go, and give in to me. I want to see you lose control, just for me.â
Your words were the last straw, and he felt himself teetering on the edge.
âOh God, honey, I'm- I'm-â
He couldn't finish his sentence, but you knew what was about to happen. His body tensed up even more, his breathing ragged and quick as he felt himself starting to let go, to give in to the pleasure that was overwhelming him.
You smiled as you felt his body tense up, knowing that he was about to lose control. You leaned in, your mouth right next to his ear, and whispered:
âThat's it, my sweet boy. Let go for me. Let go and give in to me. I've got you, my good boy.â
He felt you press yourself even closer to him, your body moving frantically against his in a desperate search for your own release. He held onto you tighter, his hands gripping your hips as if his life depended on it.
âOh God, honey,â he groaned. âYou're so close, aren't you? You're so close, and it's because of me.â
You nodded, your breath coming out in ragged gasps as you felt yourself getting closer and closer to the edge.
âYes, it's you, my sweet boy,â you panted. âIt's all because of you. You're driving me wild, you're making me so hot, and it's all because of you, my smart, sexy man.â
His breathing was ragged and shallow as he felt you press your forehead against his, the frames of his glasses digging into your skin. But he was too far gone in the moment to care.
âYou're so beautiful,â he mumbled, his voice strained. âSo beautiful, and so hot, and I'm so close to losing it. I'm so close⊠So closeâŠâ
âI know,â you panted. âI can tell, my sweet boy. You're so close, but you're holding back. You're trying to be such a good boy for me, aren't you?â
He let out a low, guttural moan, his body tensing up even more as he felt himself getting even closer to the edge.
âI'm trying,â he groaned, his voice tight. âOh God, I'm trying so hard. I don't want to lose it yet, I want to make you feel good first.â
You smiled, feeling a rush of affection for him even in this heated moment. You loved how much he was trying to make sure you were feeling good, how much he wanted to be a good boy for you.
âYou're doing so good, my sweet boy,â you murmured, your mouth right next to his ear again. âYou're doing so good, holding back for me. But it's okay, you can let go, my good boy. I want you to lose control, just for me.â
His body was trembling with the effort of holding back, but your words were starting to break him down.
âOh God, honey,â he panted. âI don't know how much longer I can hold on. I'm so close, so close⊠Oh God, you feel so good, you look so hot, and I want to come for you so bad.â
You could tell that he was getting close to breaking point, that he was struggling to hold on any longer. But you loved seeing him like this, so desperate and needy for you.
âThen let go, my sweet boy,â you whispered, your voice low and sultry. âJust let go, and come for me. Let me see how good it feels to you, to lose control for me. You're my good boy, aren't you? My sweet, good boy?â
He let out a low, guttural moan as your words sent shivers down his spine. He was holding on by a thread, but your voice and your body against him were making it almost impossible to hang on any longer.
âOh God, baby,â he panted, his voice strained. âI'm so close, I'm so close⊠Oh God, I can't hold on much longer. I want to come for you, I want to lose control for you, my sweet girl. I'm your good boy, I'm your good boy.â
He felt your breaths hitch as you teetered on the edge, and it only made him all the more desperate to make you feel good. He bucked up against you, trying to give you the friction he knew you needed.
âI want you to feel good, baby,â he panted, his voice strained. âI want you to come for me, my sweet girl. I want to see you lose control, just like I'm about to lose control for you. You're so beautiful, so hot, and you're all mine.â
You lost yourself in the sensations as he bucked up against you, and the combination of his body and his words was all you needed to push you over the edge.
âOh God,â you gasped, your voice shaky. âOh God, I'm cumming, I'm cumming⊠Oh God, my sweet boy, my good boy, my love, my everything⊠I'm comingâŠâ
He felt you go over the edge, your words and your body sending him flying off the edge with you. His body contracted against yours, his grip on your hips tight as he rode out his release with you.
âOh God, oh God, oh God⊠Oh God, you're so beautiful, you're so hot, you feel so goodâŠâ
You shivered through your release, your body trembling against his as you rode out your orgasm with him. When you finally came down, you collapsed against him, your forehead still pressed against his.
âThat wasâŠâ you breathed, your voice rough and ragged. âAmazing.â
He wrapped his arms around you, holding you close against him as he tried to catch his breath. His body was still shaking from the intensity of his release, and he was having a hard time finding the words to express how amazing it had been.
âYeah,â he panted, his voice low. âYeah, it was⊠It was unlike anything I've ever felt before.â
He felt you giggle softly, and he realized that he could feel the wetness seeping through his pajamas. He felt a mixture of embarrassment and amusement, and he couldn't help but laugh a little as well.
âYeah, I guess we made a bit of a mess, didn't we?â he said, his voice laced with amusement.
You pulled back a little and looked down between them, seeing the wet spot on his pajamas. You couldn't help but giggle again, a mischievous expression on your face.
âLooks like we did,â you said, your voice teasing. âSorry about that, my sweet boy.â
He grinned, feeling a mix of amusement and affection at your teasing tone.
âOh, don't apologize, honey,â he said, his voice playful. âI think I kinda like it, actually.â

Dream Girl
Summary: Did you seriously think youâd be able to get over someone like Ellie Williams? Think again, dream girl.
an: Iâm so obsessed with this series and the portrayal of Ellie, thereâs just something about a small town romance that scratches the sweet spot in my brain. I hope you guys have enjoyed this one just as much as I have! Thank you so much for all of the support đ€
Warnings: smut! MDNI!! 18+, tribbing (another tribbing fic by Luna?? Ofc do you not know me by now?), lots of kissing, sub!ellie if you squint, angst, mentions of another love interest, mentions of cheating, reader sucks Ellieâs fingers, pet names, unsure and closed off reader, pls lmk if I missed anything!
Read part 1 here!!
You watched from your bed as the gentle wind blew your lace curtains further into your bedroom, the birds chirping as the early morning sun slowly rose, cascading a warm glow into your room, making you squint your sore eyes with a soft groan.
With the slow rise of the sun came the constant reminder that youâd spent yet another night without catching a wink of sleep, lying there as you allowed your thoughts to carry you to places you wished didnât exist.
Places of your ex wife, the bitter taste of your marriage still lingering on your tongue, reminding you of everything that could have been, everything that was lost due to lust.
Places of Ellie, the person who stole your heart first. You think of everything that could have changed had you not gone to the city, how your life's outcome would have had such a great shift due to one tiny change within the line of events that made up who you were, and what you did with your life.
It all leaves the whole in your heart feeling bigger, wider, swallowing up so much of the tiny organ that it almost felt there was nothing left of it.
It had been only a few days since the last time you saw Ellie, and the memories of that night still lingering in you brain, hanging heavily in your mind, stopping you from focusing on anything but that.
Because as much it felt good to kiss her, you haven't even been divorced for a year, and the conflicting feelings that you had for Ellie, paired with the newfound distrust and heartbreak that came from your recent marriage caused a storm in your head, heavy clouds swirling about in the confides of your mind and making it heard to think, hard to breath.
It was all just too fucking hard.
But you knew life was different now. You weren't a teenage girl that could run from confrontations for her own comfort. You were a grown up now, experiencing grown up situations that called for grown up reactions. So you knew that you needed to talk to Ellie, no matter how much it hurt to even think about facing her right now.
You werenât even entirely sure where to start. Texting her was an absolute no, despite how much easier it would be to confront her that way, behind a screen would do a great job at cushioning the blow that came with confronting Ellie. Calling fell under the same category, she deserved much more than a measly phone call from your end with the intention of patching things up.
Which left only one option. You had to see her in person.
You sighed softly as you sat up in your bed, looking over at your phone resting face down on your bedside table. You hadnât touched it since that night, avoiding the device all together in fear that youâd see any messages or calls from the worried girl.
So you arenât surprised when you finally pick it up to see just that. Ellie didnât pry, there were about three phone calls and four messages, all of which came across far too understanding and supportive for someone that had been kicked out mid make out session a few nights prior.
You inhale deeply before you open up your messages with her, and begin typing.
Hi
Iâm sorry I havenât responded.
Are you busy today? Can we meet up? I feel we need to talk
You practically hold your breath until she responds, which doesnât take a very long time because the minute you send your first message, sheâs read it and already typing out her message back.
Hey, donât apologize. I was just worried about you
Ofc we can meet. Farmers market is opened today, you wanna check it out?
You donât even realize it, but her messages are making you smile the second you read them out. Probably because of how easy Ellie makes things, how hard it is to make things awkward with someone as kind as she is.
That sounds great.
Iâll meet you there
Cool :)
Despite the small amount of anxiety that has alleviated when youâre finished texting her, you know this is only the beginning, the easy part of a conversation that will be much harder to have, much harder to explain when you arenât even sure how to navigate your feelings as it is.
But there was no use in putting it off any further, so youâre quick to get out of bed, brush your teeth, haul on a pair of old blue jeans and an old band t-shirt and make your way out to your car to meet Ellie in town.
Itâs almost impossible to have a sour mood in a place as magical as your little town. The moment you got into your car, the warm sun soaking into your skin made you take a deep breath, allowing yourself to clear your head for a second before making your way out into town.
Your mom was right, the sun can cure more than you thought.
You hadnât even realized it was Sunday, which meant it was your towns tradition to hold the farmers market in the town center. You used to look forward to it so much as a kid, knowing it would bring out the best of the people that lived here, showcasing the talent every person had.
Some people sold clothes that they made by hand, pieces that could only be made with love and care, something you often missed seeing in the city. Others sold jewelry, so delicately crafted it was almost unbelievable that someone was able to create something like it.
But your favorite? Was the food. Different pastries baked by the hands of men and women, recipes passed on from generation to generation to continue to breath life into the traditions that made up your town, tying one another together with a single cake or pie.
It was almost like magic.
You catch yourself smiling as you walk down the strip of stands already getting into their sales. Your heart warms at the sight of familiar faces, aged but still happy. You notice new ones as well, like when you approach a stand you remember being up when you were kid, one of which sold your favorite sweet rolls.
Your attention is far too occupied with chatting up the familiar curly haired girl at the stand, the same one that your visit when you were a teenager, eager to her mothers famous pastures. Youâre surprised to see that thereâs now a baby on her hip sporting the same head of spiral chocolate brown locks sprouting from her head, giggling and kicking excitedly as you introduce yourself, grabbing the babies hands as you catch your with her mom.
Ellie had arrived not long after you, standing nearby as she smiles fondly at the way the baby quickly becomes enamored with you. Watching you play with kids was something that always made her heart flutter with joy.
You giggle softly as she hands you both pastries, giving her a nod as she begs you to come visit her and the sweet baby more often. You hum softly as you struggle to push both your receipt and your phone back into your purse, groaning softly to yourself as you fail to notice the sudden looming presence that falls over the, gentle hands opening your bag wider as they aid you in putting everything away.
âHere, lemme help youâ Ellie breaths out gently, her voice alone making you freeze as your eyes trail to her body to land on her face that was suddenly very close to yours.
She chuckles when she notices you staring up at her with wide eyes, nodding her head down to your bag.
âCome on now, would hate to make you drop thoseâ she hums as she mentions the pastries in your other hand. You blink a few times before you clear your throat, giving a quick nod before you push your things into your bag with her help.
âFuckâŠsorryâŠIâŠumâŠâ you struggle to speak, adjusting your bag on your shoulders as you watch the girl step back with a soft smile.
âNo worries, you alright?â She questions, neck craning down a bit to get a good look at you, her own big green eyes staring into yours, making it hard to breath.
God, this was going to be much harder than you thought.
You inhaled deeply, opening your mouth to speak before closing it, looking down at the sweet rolls in your hand before outstretching your arm to hand one to her.
âI bought this for youâŠI figured you hadnât eaten yet soâŠâ you mumble out softly, watching as she stared at you for a moment before looking down at the perfectly packaged baked good in your hand.
Her heart warming at the mere thought of you thinking of her in that way.
She smiles softly before she nods, placing her hand on the small of your back as she began guiding you out of the small strip of stands.
âSo sweet of youâŠcâmon, thereâs some places to sit right up this wayâ she suggests, giving you a small reassuring smile as she leads you there.
Somehow it seems perfect. The sun, the birds chirping, the little shady spot that Ellie leads you over to, covered by the biggest tree with the prettiest flowers slowly drifting down from above. Itâs truly something out of a dreamâŠ.
It made you wish this was all a dream.
You let out a soft sigh as you sit opposite of Ellie on the wooden bench, your fingers toying with the paper the pastry in front of you is wrapped in. Ellie frowns as she watches you closely, knowing the expression far too well. She could see just how much you were in your own head, how the events you two shared prior lingered in your mind, making it hard to focus on anything.
You couldnât even look at her, and she hated that.
She inhaled deeply before she reached a hand out, gently placing it atop yours.
âI hope you didnât bring me out here to apologizeâŠbecause you donât have toâ her words are soft, and sweet, and it makes your throat get tight because she shouldnât be so kind to you after what you did, after the way you treated her.
You donât respond, so she takes the opportunity to keep talking.
âI get that things are probably hardâŠand I shouldnât even have kissed you that nightâŠso Iâm sorryâ she tries again, and you scoff softly before shaking your head.
âDonâtâŠdonât apologizeâ you mumble out before you inhale deeply, finally looking up, only not at her, at the scenery around you both.
âI caught her in our bed, with some girl she worked withâ you mumble out softly, fingers mindlessly running along the rough surface of the wooden table.
âI probably should have seen it comingâŠ.but I think I wanted things to work out so badly that I just ignored itâ you shrug slightly as you explain before you finally look over at Ellie, whoâs already staring intently as she listens to you.
âEllie I donât want you to feel sorry for me, or to think that Iâm using my divorce as an excuse for what I did, for what happened between usâŠ.but I just need you to know that Iâm hurting, and itâs justâŠ.hard for me to open myself up to something like that again after what happenedâ your voice breaks as your emotions threaten to give you away, chin wobbling as tears pool in your eyes.
But you donât let them flow free. You donât want to cry anymore, not over this.
âIâŠI just need timeâŠ.â You silently beg, beg for her to understand what it is youâre going through, what it is youâre experiencing.
It scares you when she doesnât answer right away, her green eyes scanning your face as she takes it all in. Itâs a lot, and you know that, but thereâs a tiny part of you that begs for Ellie to do what she does best, which is tell you exactly what you need to hear.
She blinks a few times before giving you a nod, paired with a soft smile. âYou donât even have to askâŠ.you know Iâd understand no matter whatâ
You inhale deeply as you watch her, her gentle eyes, her soft smile telling you that all would be fine. It make your stomach churn because you feel like you donât deserve it, you feel like she deserves so much more than what youâre giving her.
You two havenât even addressed what actually happened that night.
Thereâs nothing more to do than to simply smile back at her. Itâs weak, and it isnât much, but itâs all you can mange right now.
Ellie smiles softly at you before she looks down at the rolls in front of you both. âAs good of a baker that Mary Beth isâŠ.i think we need some real foodâ Ellie hums out softly before she swings her leg over the bench to get up, nodding her head towards a small diner nearby.
âCome on. Letâs get something to eatâ she suggests, holding her hand out for yours.
She notices the way your eyes linger on her calloused hand, unsure of whether or not you should take it, unsure of what signals it would send if you did.
You were unsure of everything. Unsure of Ellie, yourself, your own feelings. Nothing felt solid enough to trust, and you hated that someone like Ellie could make you feel that way, even though you knew that it wasnât her that was making you feel that way, but rather what happened to you instead.
She can see it, she can see right through you and for a moment her frown mimics yours before she it turns into a soft smile.
âAs friendsâ she affirms gently.
She sees a flash of something ripple through your eyes at this when you finally look up at her, something she doesnât want to read too much into, something that she knows she canât dive into for your own comfort, and perhaps even hers too.
A moment passes before you crack a weak smile, placing your hand into hers before you nod. âYeahâŠas friendsâ you manage to make out weakly before grabbing the things off the table, shoving them into your bag and leaning into Ellieâs warmth as she guides you to the diner.
Ignoring the bitter taste left on your tongue at the way Ellie assured you that she was your friend, and nothing more.
Your mind was in absolute shambles.
It had been a few weeks since the farmers market with Ellie, and truthfully all had been well between the two of you. You both ate together, talked, laughed, you were even able to talk about your divorce, explaining to Ellie how you felt, what it had done to you, and she listened to it all, nodding along to your words, giving you the advice you didnât want to hear, but very much needed. For a moment it was easy to forget all about the tension that had settled between you both, the thoughts that plagued you were finally silenced as you allowed yourself to just simply be.
That was until you got home.
The second you were in your bedroom, lying there, staring up at the ceiling, memories of that night began to flood into your mind. You could feel it all so clearly, Ellieâs hands on your body, her lips pressed against your mouth, gasping for air, her tongue sliding against your own. Her words echoed throughout your mind, desperate pants and moans of how she needed you, of how you needed her.
You couldnât sleep a wink.
It felt as though you hadnât even talked to her, as if things hadnât glossed over to where they were okay, a point where things were fine between you both. They were, but the feelings you had were still there. You thought that if you had at least talked to Ellie, explained to her what you were feeling, it would give you a head start on where to go with sorting out your own feelings.
None of that ever came.
Your body yearned for a moment of peace from the issues at hand, you wanted to feel the same way you felt when you were sat at the diner with Ellie, her laugh and her sparkling smile distracting you from the things you were feeling.
But you knew you couldnât turn to her for a distraction, you couldnât use her to occupy your mind from facing things that youâd much rather ignore. That wasnât fair to her and it would only hurt you further in the long run, lengthen the grieving process of the death of your marriage.
You couldnât do that to Ellie.
You could however, go somewhere that you knew would clear your mind the moment you were there.
The low hum of your car engine shuts off as you pull up to the familiar clearing, a gentle smile on your face as you can already hear the gentle stream of the water the moment youâre stepping out of the car.
The old creek was one everyone in your town treasured, a tiny glimpse of paradise in the confides of your backyard. It was where all the seniors would go for senior skip day, and where families would visit to spend the day with their children. If there was any place that the people of your town would be during the summertime, it would be the creek.
And rightfully so, the waters sparkled like nothing youâd ever seen before, the shady trees hiding the spot away like a secret that belonged to you and only you. You had many fond memories of the place, ones with your family, your siblings, your old friends from school.
Ellie.
You and her would visit the spot any chance you got, diving into the cold water the moment you were there. You could recall the moment you two first found out, thinking it was a secret only you two shared, just to find out your parents had been visiting when they were your age as well.
Regardless of the fact that it didnât belong to you two, it felt like it. A small piece of the world that you and Ellie could call your own, sharing secrets there with one another, Ellie pushing you off the old swing tied up to one of the trees before she swung in soon after, diving in and holding you close to her chest as she promised youâd be together forever, for as long as you both lived.
The intensity that you both shared as teenagers often made you laugh. What a silly thing for two teenage girls to say who have barely experienced the world out there.
You let out a gentle sigh as you rugged off your denim shorts after setting your spot up. A small blanket settled down with your bag, your old camera and a few books, clearly having every intention of staying the entire day, swimming to your hearts content.
Once youâre stripped of your clothes, your body only clad in your old bathing suit, you waste no time in making your way down to the water, shivering slightly once your toes hit the cold water, wiggling them in the process.
Youâre convinced swimming in the small body of water has to have some sort of mystical healing properties, because the moment youâre diving your head under, eyes examining the aquamarine world that is below the surface, your mind is clear. It makes you feel like you could live there, swimming amongst the different underwater caverns and the fish, creating a whole new world below as the little mermaid you always dreamed to be.
Your mother always told you she thought sheâd given birth to a little fish when your father first took you swimming.
Itâs so easy to lose track of time when youâre like this, floating around in the water, letting its coldness wrap you up and swallow you whole. Itâs almost comforting how quiet it is, the only sounds being the gentle stream of the water, the wind rustling against the tree leaves and the frequent sound of the birds chirping to let you know that you werenât alone, letting you know they were there with you.
You donât even realize it but youâve spent hours swimming about in the small pond, the grumbling in your stomach finally stops you for a moment to actually think about anything other than swimming, forcing you out to lay out onto your blanket and dry in the sun, occasionally popping the sweet berries into your mouth youâd brought from home.
The book youâve brought with you also silences the outside world, allowing you to flip from page to page without thinking of anything but the regal characters that seemingly had much more to worry about than you. What a world it would be to wear uncomfortable dresses and attend balls in the hopes youâd find the perfect husband.
What would they think of your divorce?
It makes you snort to yourself, a gentle hum leaving your lips as you flip another page, unaware of the sudden sound of feet crunching against the grass slowly approaching you.
The high pitched sound of your name being called rips your attention away from your book, furrowing your eyebrows a bit as you cup your hand above your eyes to shield from the sun, trying to get a good look at who it was that was disturbing your peace.
âI didnât think Iâd be seeinâ you here! What a surprise!â Lilac chirps out, her curly hair tied up into a perfectly styled bun, tight coils framing her face as she clutches her towel to her chest.
You hadnât seen her since the night Ellie took you out to the Copper Cat a few weeks ago, the girl not lingering on your mind much as you had much bigger fish to fry. You were honestly a bit shocked that sheâd even remembered your name.
You give her a gentle smile as you sit up, your legs folding to cross one another as you give her a small smile.
âGood to see you LilacâŠ.going for a swim?â You ask her, watching as the girl takes the spot right next to yours, her blanket fitting perfectly up against your own as she gives you a confident nod.
âMhm! Itâs too hotâŠbless Ellieâs heart for sharinâ this place with me. Donât know what Iâd do without itâ she chirps out as she tugs her own denim shorts off, leaning her in the cutest little bikini.
You know she doesnât mean it in the way that it sounds, bragging about being introduced to the small clearing by your ex girlfriend, and you knew that it was only in due time that this place was mentioned to her by someone in your town, making sense that Ellie would do it first since thatâs just the kind of girl Ellie was.
But thereâs just something that tugs at your heart at the thought of it all. Ellie mentioning this place to her, the two of them coming down together, alone, Lilac adorned in another one of those adorable bikinis she had to show off to Ellie her gorgeous body as they play in the water together.
Something about Ellie sharing the spot you two shared with someone else that just rubbed you the wrong way.
You inhale deeply, trying to calm your nerves as you remember that this girl owes you nothing, Ellie owes you nothing and Lilac has been nothing but kind to you from the moment she met you.
Giving her a gentle smile as she settles down next to you, you nod. âItâs pretty great out hereâŠIâm surprised it isnât so packed. Seems we got luckyâ you give her a nod before you sigh, turning your attention back to your book.
She smiles fondly as she watches you turn your attention back to your book, her neck craning down a bit to get a good look at the cover, gasping softly once she realized what it was you were reading.
âYou read those too? I love them! I just finished the first twoâ she beams, a soft hum leaving your lips as you look up at the girl, raising your eyebrows at her comment.
âReally? Most people think theyâre super cornyâ you pout softly as you turn the book over to look at the cliche cover, which only earns a firm head shake from Lilac.
âHoney Iâm a hopeless romantic, I daydream more than I actually try talking to peopleâ she giggles out softly, giving you a gentle shrug.
Her words make you chuckle softly, gently closing your book as you toss it to the side before sitting up to mirror her posture, crossing your legs as you suddenly give her your full attention.
âYouâre a hopeless romantic? ButâŠLilac youâre gorgeous. I wouldnât be shocked if you have every single guy here desperate to get a chance with youâ you confess, which only makes her shake her head as she gives you a shy smile, gently shoving your knee.
âDonât you dare! Iâm awful at talking to peopleâ she pouts out, her eyes dropping from her own as she stares down at the flowers on her blanket, delicate fingers tracing the patterns gently as she lets out a gentle sigh.
âIf Iâm being honestâŠitâs not the guys here that I wantâŠâ her words trail off softly, and it makes you pout softly as you eye the girl, seeing how whatever is on her mind is clearly bothering her, plaguing the girl just as much as what was on your mind.
You open your mouth to ask her about it, feeling bad about whatever she was going through, but sheâs quick to shake her head and put on a bright smile once she looks back into your eyes. âBut letâs not get into that! Mâglad youâre here to join me todayâ she breaths out, her voice sweet and genuine as her eyes soften.
And it makes your heart rate finally slow down, seeing just how genuine the girl seemed, how happy she was to be there with you regardless of the fact that you were as good as a stranger to her than anything more.
You smile softly as you nod, leaning forward and placing your hand on hers, giving a gentle squeeze. âDonât mention it, Lilacâ you hum out softly.
If there was anything you didnât expect to do today, it was to have made a new friend, especially one in Lilac. The two of you spent the entire day down at the creek, laughing together, swimming together. The more time you spent with her, the more you realized just how much in common the both of you had.
Being completely honest with yourself, she had more kindness in her pinky than anyone in the city ever did.
The sun has set, and the breeze blew against your warm skin as you leaned against your car, Lilac in front of you as she made yet another joke that had you throwing your head back as you let out a loud laugh.
âStop I feel the same way! I always wondered what happened to himâ you gasp out, tucking a strand of your hair behind your ear as you lean back to shove your back into the passenger seat of your car. Lilac giggles softly as she nods, her arms crossed over her chest as she swatted away the mosquitos slowly began to swarm around you both.
âHeâs still an idiot, some people never change I fearâ she groaned out, a prominent pout on her perfect lips before she cocked her head to the side, smiling fondly at you.
âEllie was right about you, you know? You really are somethinâ specialâ she breaths out, and it has your eyes going wide at the mention of the girl. It makes you realize that you hadnât thought about her all day, not since Lilac had joined you.
It makes you wonder what other things Ellie had said about you.
You whine softly as you bring your hand forward to nudge her playfully. âShut upâŠ.youâll blow my head upâ you warn the girl playfully before you sigh softly, looking over at the sun that was slowly bur surly setting, the once warm glow that casted onto you both disappearing.
âAhh I should get goingâŠwe shouldnât be on the roads too lateâ you breath out softly, turning towards the girl and giving her a small smile, only to see a sad one on her face.
You frown softly as you watch her, leaning forward and giving her hand a gentle squeeze. âHey? You okay?â You ask gently, suddenly worried about the girls shift in her mood.
She lets out a gentle sigh before she looks down at her feet, kicking around the gravel below before she lets out a soft hum. âI know we donât know each other wellâŠbutâŠI feel like youâll be my only help with thisâ she admits to you, her eyes still casted downwards before you assure her with a soft voice. âOf course you can..â you mumble out softly.
She finally looks up at you, taking a deep inhale before she gives you a half smile. âIâŠthink I like Ellieâ she breaths out, as if sheâd been keeping it held in for so long, as if finally telling you was letting a weight off of her shoulders.
Letting it off of hers and slamming it down onto yours.
You find it hard to breathe, because suddenly youâre shot back to the first night you met Lilac at the Copper Cat. Ellieâs hand on her waist, hers on Ellieâs arm as she whispers in her ear, the two of them matching one another far more than you felt you couldâve ever matched Ellie. You feel threatened, and it sets a fire off in your chest, and you feel like the world is crumbling around you as this beautiful girl admits her innocent feelings for your ex girlfriend.
When you donât speak, she continues.
âAnd I justâŠyou and her are so close, so I was hoping maybe you could give me some advice? Should I go for it? Do youâŠthink sheâd like me back?â She asks hopefully, twiddling with her fingers nervously as she watches you closely, awaiting your response.
You stare are her blankly, your body working on autopilot as you try to work your way through this. Seeing her that night felt like it mightâve all been in your head, especially when Ellie ran out after you and left the moment you were ready, but now this is all real. This is Lilac confirming that what you felt was real, and this was the reality of coming back to your hometown, more specifically your ex girlfriend.
And as you stand there, trying to figure out what the hell to say to this girl, you can only see someone doing the same thing that youâre doing. Sheâs a young girl, looking for love in this crazy fucked up world, and sheâs unsure of herself. Someone as beautiful as her is unsure of herself and you could only wish that someone would have guided you when you were pursuing your ex wife, a third party bystander giving their advice and helping you through it all.
Because as much as it kills you? Ellie deserves love, and so does Lilac, and if they find it in one another, who the hell are you to take that away from them.
The both of them owe you nothing.
You inhale deeply before giving her a soft smile, nodding as you reach out to give her arm a gentle, assuring squeeze. âI think Ellie would be thrilled to be with someone like you, LilacâŠ.you should go for itâ you breath out genuinely, watching as the girls face lights up with joy with your confirmation, an excited squeal leaving her lips.
âI was hoping youâd say that! Youâre an angelâ she squeals, reaching forward and grabbing you up into her arms as she gives you a tight hug, swaying back and forth as she tucks her chin into your shoulder.
You can practically feel the happiness radiating off of her.
You smile softly as you nod, wrapping your hands around her as you hug her back before you hum. âYou didnât need meâŠyouâll be great on your ownâ you assure her before you pull away, giving her a reassuring nod.
She smiles brightly as she nods before she lets out a loud sigh. âRightâŠget home safe, alright? And text me! We can hang out sometime this weekâ she sings out as she gets into her car, giving you a wave as she begins pulling off.
And suddenly youâre left there all alone, with the newfound thoughts that are swirling about in your head. You know already that you wonât be able to sleep, not with the mental image of the two of them dancing around in your mind, forcing you to face reality, face the facts that time moves on with or without you.
But you were tired of being left behind, you were tired of being the last one to know things, the one broken heart in a sea of mended ones.
Driving off in your car from the creek gives you time to think, the cool breeze kissing your skin, pushing your hair back as the radio plays your favorite songs, creating somewhat of a perfect scenario to think things over rather than running from them.
While it all hurts, you know that thereâs no use in standing in the way of Lilac or Ellie or whoever for that matter. Life would continue moving, and in that meant new love would be found, for both you and Ellie, it just felt like that wouldnât happen for you in the moment, even if you knew it would.
But you were going to move on from this. And you were going to be fine, no matter how long it took for you to catch up with the tracks of life that seemingly always got the best of you.
Thereâs something therapeutic about hanging up the laundry on the old clothes line in your backyard.
You used to make fun of your mom all the time when she did it, telling her that there was a perfectly good dryer inside that would take less than half the time to dry the clothes than they did outside, not to mention less work when it came to picking them in.
However as youâve grown older, thereâs something so simple about walking outside with your basket on your hip, the gentle smell of detergent blowing into your direction as you pin up several articles of clothing, your white sheets, anything that youâve washed, that tickles your brain in the best ways.
That, and the fact that these days youâll take any task to fill your brain with thoughts other than Ellie or your ex wife.
Things had been fine. You spoke to Ellie here and there, dropped dinner off at Joelâs house that you knew he made sure she got some of whenever you made extra, you even made time for Lilac within the week as well. Youâd picked up a small job in town as well, working at the cashier of a small floral shop that had been in town from you could remember.
So although your mind drifted to places you didnât often like, life was fine. Life was slow, and life was good.
Lilac constantly gushed to you about Ellie, talking about all the progress theyâd been making, asking your opinion on the girls behavior, which you always tried your best to help with. Although the strange thing about it all, was you heard nothing from Ellie about the situation. She didnât mention anything about Lilac, not even when you brought it up.
It wasnât long until you began distancing yourself from the both of them, knowing how hard it would be once they became official and you had to live life in a world where they were together.
Because although you were doing okay, the wound was still fresh, and you had to keep your peace.
You hummed a gentle tune softly as you continued hanging up your linen on the line, enjoying the feeling of the cool summer breeze against your skin, the dandelions dancing along through the air as they became loose from their stems.
The sound of your fence creaking open cuts right into your thoughts of housework, forcing you to turn around as you hang up another one of your sleep shirts, a soft smile on your lips when you catch sight of the familiar tall brunette walking into your backyard, both her hands shoved into the pockets of her denim jeans.
âEllieâŠdidnât think you were coming overâ you sigh out softly as you clip the end of your shirt up, continuing to hang up your clothes regardless of her being there.
âWas in the neighborhoodâŠ.I thought Iâd stop byâ she breaths out, eyes taking in your form as you continue with your chore.
Her voice seems like something is bothering her, and you catch onto it the second she utters her first syllable. You know already why sheâs here, to question you about your sudden absence, wondering if things were okay with you or not, worry clear in her tone.
âYouâŠhavenât been around latelyâ she mumbles out, that same worried tone laced throughout her words.
It was just as you suspected.
You frown, thanking the task of laundry that hides your expression from her. Itâs so much easier to lie to Ellie whenever youâre not looking into her eyes.
âOhâŠIâve just been uhâŠdealing with some stuffâ youâre quick with the excuse, clearing your throat before you turn around to give her a soft smile. âIâm fineâŠhonestâ you give her your best attempt at a reassuring nod before you turn back to your laundry.
You have to turn away from her quickly, because you can see from the small glimpses you get of her that sheâs frowning, and her brows are furrowed together with something thatâs bothering her.
You hope sheâll leave after you tell her youâre fine.
But she doesnât. You donât hear her respond to your words, or even turn around silently to go about her day. You hear nothing behind you, only the sound of your white sheets wafting through the wind, drying on the line before you.
You frown when you look down to see your basket is empty, and the task of pinning up your clothes is no longer present to hide you away from Ellie.
So you need to get rid of her.
You inhale deeply, picking up the old basket and placing it on your hip, putting your most believable smile on your face before turning around, finally locking eyes onto the girl to see something that makes your heart sink.
It looks like she hasnât slept, prominent bags under her pretty eyes, pouty pink lips chapped, most likely picked and bit at out of anxiety, a bad habit you knew she had whenever something was bothering her. Your heart tugs at the image, wanting nothing more than to pull the girl down into a hug, consoling her and telling her that whatever was bothering her, would be fine.
But you canât. Because things arenât the same anymore.
You inhale deeply before you nod your head towards your back door. âWellâŠI have lots to do insideâŠmore house workâŠdinnerâ you explain, trying your best to hint at Ellie leaving without having to say so.
âDid I do something wrong?â She finally makes out, her words a clear plea to understand the situation rather than a half mumble that sheâd rather not say.
It makes you furrow your eyebrows, watching the girl with a confused look as you try to understand her.
âWrong? EllieâŠIâve barely seen you. What could you have possibly done wrong?â You try, confused of the sudden outburst from the girl.
Her eyes are stormy, hazy and hard to read. Her brows are knit as she looks down at the floor before looking back into your eyes, a prominent frown on her face.
âWhy would you tell Lilac that thereâs something worth looking for between her and IâŠwhy would youâŠâ her words trail off, as if she wants to say more, as if she wants to persist with knowing why you would have done such a thing.
And soon it all starts making sense.
You wish Lilac wouldnât have said anything. You wish she wouldnât have told Ellie that you were the one that told her to go for it, even if she was the one that asked in the first place. You wish she would have just pursued Ellie without any mention of you, because was that even necessary? You know she must have done it to gush about you even further, the girl becoming enamored with you from the moment she saw you, and even more so once you two became closer.
But for the love of godâŠdid she really have to tell Ellie that you were the one to tell her to go for it?
You open your mouth to speak before you sigh softly, your hands squeezing the handles of your clothes basket before you speak. âIâŠ.she spent the day down at the creek with me and when we were about to leave she told me she liked youâŠand she asked me if I thought she should pursue youâ you explain with a shrug of your shoulders, which only makes Ellie scoff in disbelief.
âAnd you told her that was a good idea?â She argues back, as if it were the dumbest thing you could have ever done. She says it as if it were common knowledge to tell the girl other wise, you raise your eyebrows when she says this.
âYeah? Why not? Lilac isâŠsheâs fucking gorgeous Ellie. Anyone would be lucky to have her, and you should be happy I put you on with someone as great as herâ you mumble out as you slip past the girl, clearly done with Ellie and this conversation as you walked up the wooden steps leading to your back door.
But Ellie isnât finished with you, because sheâs quick to follow behind, closing the door behind you as you make your way into your laundry room to set your basket down, your hands going to your hips once you turn around to see the girls built figure standing in your doorway.
âEllie come onâŠI have things to doâŠyou need to goâ you huff out as you slip past her once again, going off into your living room to start on the dried laundry that needed to be folded, hoping that the girl would simply drop it and leave.
âYou know I understood you the night after the show, and I was more than willing to give you all of the space you need, but this feels like youâre playing some sick joke on meâ sheâs standing over you now, watching as you try to ignore her in favor of some pillow cases that needed folding.
âIs pushing me into the arms of someone else your solution? And ignoring me until Iâve forgotten all about it? Is that the plan? Is that seriously what you think itâll take to get rid of me?â She tries again, her voice pleading with you at this point as she watches you ignore her.
But this time you done, your hands drop to your lap as you stare up at her in disbelief before you toss the pillow case to the side, standing up opposite of her.
âI never had a plan! Lilac asked me a question and I was honest with her. Thereâs no reason why you shouldnât be happy with someone elseâ you explain to her before you finally feel as though youâve had enough, a huff of annoyance filling the silent air as you round the couch to slip away into the kitchen.
Before youâre fully there, Ellieâs voice is echoing off the walls.
âBut I canât be happy with someone else!â She shouts out, her arms flailing up inti the air before dropping down to her side, the sound of her palms slapping against her jeans before she sighs.
You stop dead in your tracks when you hear that one, your back still turned to her.
âHow could I possibly be happy with anyone else when youâre all I fucking think aboutâŠ.â Her voice is tired, and itâs almost as if sheâs begging you for something, something you are not capable of, something you cannot give.
Begging for you.
âFrom moment we had our first kissâŠ.to the moment I said goodbye to you before you left for the cityâŠIâve only ever wanted youâ you can hear her getting closer, slowly making her way towards you as you stand there at the edge of your kitchen, frozen, silent, unable to say anything to her as she confesses these things to you.
âItâs pathetic, and Iâve tried to suck it up for your sake because I knowâŠ.youâre going through a tough time after that moron did what she didâŠ.but I canât fucking hide anymoreâ she breaths out, and it sounds the same exact way that Lilac sounded when she admitted to you that she had feelings for Ellie those nights ago.
Your back is still turned to her, and you know sheâs right behind you because her smell fills up your lungs and makes your eyes roll to the back of your head as you try to fight all of it back, everything that youâve done, all that youâve worked through from the moment you got home to get to the point that you were at currently.
But you feel all of it break the moment Ellieâs strong hand grips your shoulder gently, sighing softly as she speaks.
âLook at meâŠ.please angelâŠâ she begs, her skin wafting onto your neck as she tries her best to fight the urge to grab you right then and there and kiss you.
When you finally turn around, her heart breaks, because the whites of your eyes are red, and there are heavy tears pooling at the edge of your eyes, making them sparkle in the warm light of your kitchen, looking so beautiful yet so tragic all in the same time.
Her chest tightens as she leans in to cup your cheek, fighting back the urge to groan as she inhales deeply. âI canâtâŠI donât wanna pretend like Iâm not still in love-â youâre quick to cut her off, your tears spilling out onto her cheeks the moment you hear the word.
âDonâtâŠdonât say itâ you warn her with shaky words, struggling to even speak with the burning sensation in your throat.
You donât think you could handle it, hearing those words fall from someoneâs lips again, the fear rising the moment they hang from Ellieâs, flashbacks of youâre wife at the alter, promising you everything and more before she kissed you and whispered in your ear that she loved you.
Itâs scary, and it makes you feel terrified of Ellie.
Before she can carry on even further, trying her best to convince you that her words are true, silently begging you to hear her out as her wide green eyes stare down into yours, youâre cutting her off.
âI told you already EllieâŠIâm notâŠ.i canât do this again. I canât give myself to someone like I did with herâ your voice trembles as you explain, her vision blurring with tears as you try your best to swallow them all back.
She licks her lips as she stares down at you before she shakes her head. âI get itâŠ.I get that youâre hurting from what happened, but I canât keep going on without you knowing anymoreâŠ.â She starts to explain, both of her hands coming up to cup either side of your face, forcing you to look up at her.
âIâveâŠ.god Iâve longed for you from the moment you left after high school. There was not a day that went by where I did not think of you for even a few seconds. And Iâm sorry for what happened, and I understand if Iâm just a childhood fling for you, but Iâd rather you tell me that then try to push someone else onto me to distract me from what Iâve felt all these yearsâ she rambles on, nearly stumbling over her words as they all bubble up to the surface, overflowing and dragging you down with her.
You open your mouth for a moment before closing it, looking far too similar to a fish out of water as you try to find the words to say. What are you even supposed to say? Are you supposed to lie to her? Tell her that you havenât felt the same way? But now itâs different and it hurts to even try to envision yourself in a relationship with someone let alone pursue them? Even when itâs Ellie?
Your Ellie?
She watches as you struggle to speak, her eyes searching yours for even a sliver of hope that this will work, that her confession will bring you to a point where you can both meet, where things can be okay again.
And if they canât? She needs to hear you say it out loud.
âTell me you donât feel the sameâ she deadpans, hands dropping from your face as any hope she might have had slowly drains out, fizzling out of her system as she watches you simply stare up at her, a mere shell of the girl she once knew.
âTell me you donât love me, and Iâll never bring this up again. We can move on from this and we can be friends. I promiseâ she breaths out, feeling the air slowly leaving her lungs, making it hard to breathe.
You feel the exact same way. You feel like the world has stopped around you both as images of your life swirls around your head.
Thereâs images of your ex wife, taking the privilege of love from you, ripping your heart out of your chest and walking away with it the moment she decided to cheat on you. It hurts, and it burns and it feels like something youâll never recover from, something that leaves a wound so deep, that it will never grow the familiar leathery skin that itâs supposed to, creating a scar that acts as merely a memory for what happened, for what you endured.
And then thereâs something sweeter in the corner, so small that if you pay enough attention to the hurt in your heart, you donât even notice it.
Itâs memories of Ellie. Sharing your first kiss with her, going to prom with her, spending late nights with her in your bedroom talking about the future, spending time with one another that will leave sweet memories in your mind till the day you die. Itâs soft, and itâs easy and it makes your insides flutter with excitement at the mere thought of her by your side.
As youâre looking over all these parts of you, standing in your kitchen with Ellie and staring up into her eyes, you make a remarkable discovery.
You realize that if you try hard enough, the pain that comes from what your ex wife did doesnât hurt as bad, long as youâre focusing on the feeling that Ellie gives you.
Because when youâre with Ellie, you feel nothing but love.
You lick your own lips as you stare up at her, inhaling deeply before you shake your head, feeling your throat burn with tears before you speak.
âI canât do thatâŠ.â Your words trail off for a moment before your eyes drift down to her strong hands, missing the feeling of her skin pressed against yours.
You slowly reach forward to take her tattooed hand into yours, your fingers dancing along the intricate details of the leaves on her wrist before you interlock your fingers, finally looking up at her as your eyes well up with tears for what felt like the hundredth time that day.
âBecause IâŠ.feel the same wayâ you breath out, watching as her sage colored eyes glimmer with happiness, a gentle sigh of relief leaving her lips as she quickly moves her hand to cup your face, her other reaching down to hold onto your waist, pulling you close to her body.
âJesusâŠcâmereâ she practically moans out before she smashes her lips against yours in a passionate, love filled kiss.
You giggle softly, your hands wrapping around her wrist as you waste no time in kissing her back, arms coming up to loosely wrap around her neck as you press your chest against hers, reveling in the feeling of her lips pressed against your own.
You hummed a gentle tune to yourself as you mixed up the pitcher of lemonade, far too deep in thought to pay the bustling party behind you any mind.
One of your favorite parts about the summer time was the cookouts. There was something about nearly the entire town coming together at someoneâs house, enjoying the warm weather, the bright sun and good food, that made your heart burst with excitement.
You were just about ready to make your way to your backyard with the others, when you felt a firm hand sliding against your waist, smoothing down over the fabric of your flower sun dress and pulling you into their chest.
âDonât you think we have enough drinks baby?â Ellie hums out softly, pressing her lips against the base of your neck, making you giggle softly as you lean into her.
âItâs almost 100 degrees outside, EllieâŠI donât think too many things to drink is even a possibilityâ you explain before you turn around in her arms, smiling softly at the firm as you wrap your arms around her neck, leaning in to press a kiss to the corner of her lips.
âArenât you supposed to be on the grill? You better not burn all that food I boughtâ you playfully pinch her shoulder, which only makes her groan softly.
âItâs too hottttâŠ.wanna be inside with youâ she whines out, resting her head against your shoulder as she gently sways with you in the kitchen.
You hum as you nod, your fingers toying with the short hair at the nape of her neck. âI know babyâŠ.but your father will be very upset if he doesnât have at least one beer with youâŠcome on pretty girlâ you hum out to her softly, your hands sliding down to hold her around her middle before giving her a gentle pinch near her ribs, which makes her yelp out as she pulls away, a prominent pout on her sun burnt, freckled face.
âFineâŠbut come out with meâ she huffs out, leaning in to give your forehead a kiss before she makes her way outside, making you giggle softly.
You sigh softly to yourself, placing the lemonade on a small tray paired with some already filled red solo cups, and a few empty ones on the side that you knew would be getting filled up shortly after you brought them out. You had to move slowly with how full they were, groaning softly to yourself as you tried your best to not let them fall as you tried making your way through the crowd of people in your home.
âOh honey let me help you with that!â You hear Lilac chirp out as she quickly comes behind you, pressing her hands against your waist before taking the heavy pitcher off of the tray, making you sigh in relief once you saw the girl.
âThere you are! I was starting to think you wouldnât showâŠâ you pout out, smiling softly as the girl leaned in to press a friendly kiss to your cheek, which you were quick to lean into as well.
She giggled softly as she groaned. âDid you know that this party of yours is causinâ traffic out there?? Everyoneâs dying to come, I almost ran out with the rollers still in my hairâ she explains, making you giggle softly as she opened up your back door for you.
After everything happened with you and Ellie, you were terrified of what would happen with Lilac. You felt like youâd robbed the girl of something she wanted without even trying, even after being the one to tell her to go for it! Even after Ellie assured you time and time again that Lilac was always one to get innocent crushes on everyone, and that sheâd get over it in no time, you were still scared that youâd lose the girl as a friend after just making her one.
You were quickly proven wrong when you met her in town a few days after, texting her and letting her know you had something to tell her. Instead of her being upset about you and Ellie, Lilac was thrilled. She grabbed you and hugged you, and told you that she even wanted to celebrate with you and Ellie, explaining that her crush was as innocent as could be.
And before you could even realize, Lilac had become your best friend.
You giggle softly as the children practically jumped you once they saw the tall pitcher of ice cold lemonade, frantically grabbing the cups and chugging them down before running off to play in the sun.
Catching sight of Ellie with her father and a few of her coworkers makes your heart flutter, and you decide to fill up a few more cups of the cold drink as you make your way over to them, a soft smile on your face.
âLemonade anyone?â You chirp out softly, all of them taking them gladly before Ellie slung her arm around your waist, pulling you into her side as she pressed a kiss to the side of your head, carrying on with her conversation.
You donât miss the way Joel smiles fondly at the two of you over the edge of his cup.
And later that night, when everyoneâs left and the house is cleaned up, you lay with Ellie in your bed, the cool breeze blowing in through your windows, your bedroom illuminated by the white light of the moon.
Youâre tucked away into Ellieâs side, your thigh hooked over her body, one of her hands rubbing along your skin and massaging your leg, the other looped around your shoulder as you stare up at her lovingly, your hand dancing along her t shirt clad chest.
âDid you have fun today?â You question softly, which earns a gentle smile from the girl before she looks down at you, giving you a slight nod.
âThe best time babyâŠ.havenât seen so many people gathered around for a party in a long timeâŠyou did good angelâ she breaths out before she leans down, pressing a soft kiss to your cheek, which makes you smile warmly.
But the warmth doesnât just settle in your cheeks.
A simple kiss from your girlfriend makes it travel down your body. It warms your throat, your chest, your stomach, traveling all the way down until it settles right in between your legs, making you clear your throat to bite back a whimper.
Ellie frowns softly when she notices this, pulling away to look down at you as she continues massaging your thigh. âSomething wrong princess?â She questions, slight concern lacing her tone as she watches you with furrowed brows, her expression clear in the light of the moon.
When you and Ellie first started being romantic again, she promised you sheâd take things slow. Your relationship only went far as kissing, a few gropes here and there, but nothing further than a steamy make out session that ended once Ellie tapped your thighs and forced you off of her lap, fearing that she was pushing you too far.
At first it was extremely considerate of her. It was true, intimacy was a bit hard for you at first, somehow thinking of your failed relationship every time you tried, blaming your self for not pleasing your wife enough.
But as time went on, those thoughts were virtually silenced. You didnât even have the capacity to think of anything but Ellie when her tongue was down your throat, the feeling of her big hands on your body, and her toned thighs pressed between your legs.
So nowâŠGodâŠyou needed her more than anything.
You were almost embarrassed to even say it, but it was getting to a point that anything Ellie did was setting you into a frenzy. Just today, her toned arms in here wife pleaser and her denim jeans made your head spin, and your panties cling to your needy core.
Her frown deepened when you didnât answer, the girl turning over a bit to better face you before her hand came up to cup your cheek. âBaby? Whatâs the matter?â She questions once again.
You finally let out a soft sigh, eyes fluttering shut as you reach up to grab her wrist gently, keeping her close as you avoid looking into her eyes.
âIâŠ.need you EllieâŠneed you so badâ you sigh out softly, voice barely above a whisper.
Her frown only deepens further as she stares at you down in confusion. âNeed me? But angel Iâm right-â her words are cut off when she feels your grip on her wrist tighten, and your thigh hikes up her body further, pressing your core against her side.
Her eyes widen in realization.
âFuckâŠâ she breaths out, watches as your eyes flutter open to stare into her own, yours filled with want and need as your other hand moves down to hold onto her exposed hip gently.
âAre you sure baby? We canâŠfuckâŠwe donât have toâŠâ she struggles to get out, eyes glued to yours as she watches you.
You shake your head before you gently pry her hand from your face, bringing her fingers down to press against your lips before you sigh. âIâve thought about you every day since Iâve left EllieâŠof course Iâm sureâŠâ you sigh out softly before you open your mouth, taking her pointer and middle finger into your mouth as you slowly suck them in, moaning around them.
Ellie lets out a soft moan as she watches you, feeling her own clit pulse against her underwear as she quickly grows warm with a need similar to yours.
âThatâs my girlâŠfuckâŠ.been needy huh?â She moans out, making you nod before you roll over to straddle her, her other hand coming down to grip your hip softly, massaging your skin through the fabric of her own t shirt draped over your body.
You let go of her fingers with a pop before you stare down at her, a soft smile on your face as you move down to press your lips against hers, wasting no time in pushing your tongue into her mouth.
The kiss is slow, and sensual and dirty and itâs everything youâve wanted and needed since your divorce. Itâs nothing like kissing your ex wife, but itâs everything like kissing Ellie. The noises she makes has your head spinning, and it forces you to roll your hips down onto her, which makes her moan even louder into your mouth.
âFuckâŠwant you toâŠwanna feel your pussy on mine babyâŠcan you do that for me?â She questions out desperately, her hands roaming your body, pushing her t shirt up on your to reveal your tits.
Ellie had it all planned out. She wanted it to be romantic, she wanted to take things slow and show you just how much she loved you, just how serious she was about you. She wanted you to feel loved.
Oh did her plans not go as planned, but oh how you felt so fucking loved.
You nod eagerly, sitting up and tugging the t shirt off, tossing it somewhere in your room. Ellie moans loudly at the sight of you above her, hands reaching up and cupping either one of your boobs, pinching and rolling your nipples between her fingers.
Once sheâs had her fun, you climb off of her for a moment, tugging off her panties, giving her time to tug her sleep shorts off as well, leaving you naked and her bottom half bare. Sheâs feverishly tugging you back onto her lap, allowing you to tug her t shirt off.
And the feeling of your bare chest pressed against hers makes you moan loudly, your lips coming down again to press a needy kiss to hers, filled with tongue and teeth as you both situate yourselves.
The moment comes quickly, your legs slotted between hers perfectly, pussy right on top of hers as she stares up at you with low, hazy eyes, strong hands gripping your thighs and your ass as you slowly began rolling your hips so that your throbbing clit bumps against hers, making the girl beneath you moan loudly as her back arches and her eyes flutter shut.
âF-fuck! Oh myâŠ.fuuuuckkkkâŠthatâs it babyâŠfuck yourself down onto my pussyâŠoh myâŠ.ha-fuckâ she moans out, voice going hoarse as her strong fingers press firmly into your skin, sure to leave marks in the morning.
Your moans mix with hers, paired with the sound of your sopping wet pussies sliding against one another, a symphony of erotic love making that has been a long time coming. Itâs like the two of you let out every raw emotion that had been bottled up for all those years you spent apart, her longing, your hurt, it all mixes together to create something of a beautiful love song that belongs to the two of you, and no one else.
âEllieeeâŠfuck! FeelsâŠfeels so good..â you moan out, picking up the pace as you feel your orgasm growing closer and closer by the second, your bed creaking with every thrust of your hips.
Ellie canât take it anymore, moving to sit up as she grips both of your hips, aiding you in riding her pussy faster before she gives you an encouraging nod. âCome on babyâŠcum with me, yeah?â She sighs out breathlessly, staring up into your eyes passionately as she feels her own orgasm growing closer.
You wrap your arms around her shoulders, keeping her closer as you moan and whine, eyebrows furrowing with pleasure as you struggle to make it there, struggle to not let the pleasure get the best of you.
Your heart feels like itâll just burst.
âIâŠmmmâŠfuckâŠ.Ellie I love youâŠI love you so muchâŠâ you moan out, eyes fluttering shut as you feel right on the brink of your orgasm.
âThatâs my fucking girlâŠI love you so much babyâŠmore than youâll ever knowâŠâ she moans out to you.
And suddenly, you see colors.
Your chest feels like youâve been struck by lightening, struggling to even stay upright as your orgasm ripples through your body violently, your forehead resting against Ellieâs as your arousal mixes with hers, both of your orgasms so intense, so powerful, it feels like itâll kill you both right then and there.
The come down is hard, because itâs almost sorrowful to no longer feel the amazing feeling that comes with making love to Ellie, but the feeling of her strong arms wrapping around your middle and keeping you close is almost better, her lips pressing against your collar bones and chest as you both breath hard, the room silent compared to the noise that once filled it.
She holds you there the entire time, whispering how much she loves you, promising you that sheâll give you everything you could ever want and need.
And while youâve heard all of that before, just for it to end in shitâŠ.
You believe her, because this time? Itâll be different.

I hope you like this as well, and please donât forget to tell me what you think, thank you! đ„°
Pairing: Logan Howlett x Female!Reader
Summary:Â Every break up has an aftermath.
Word Count:Â 4244
CW: Explicit language, angst, adult themes MDNI
Series Masterlist
The month after your brutal breakup hadnât been so easy.
When Theo was around, you made sure he didnât notice anything. His happiness was the most important thing for you, it had been that way ever since he was born, so you werenât going to ruin it. Every weekend, you pretended you were incredibly happy and that nothing was wrong at all, despite the heartbreak you were going through.
Your friends were the only people who knew just how sad you were, and they had formed a very united front to change that.
âWe have found the one.â
You pulled your brows together as you filled Jamieâs cup while Nik gave you a proud smile and Julie sat up straighter, repressing a squeal.
âYou two are dating, so youâve already found âthe oneââ you used air quotes, making Nik roll his eyes.
âNot for us!â
âAnd Julie wouldâve told me if she found the one.â
âIâd also be shouting it from the rooftops, but this isnât about me.â
You threw your head back. âIâm not gonna go on a blind date.â
âHear me out,â Jamie said, fishing his phone out of his pocket. âThis guy has been approved in the group chat.â
âWhat group chat?â
âOur group chat.â
Your jaw dropped. âYou guys have a group chat without me?â
âYes because itâs being used purely to find you your Mr. Right.â
âAnd we know itâs been only a month since you and Logan broke up but fuck Logan,â Julie added. âIâve been carrying a magnet in my purse ever since you told me about your break up, just in case I run into him.â
Nik turned to look at her better. âYouâre joking.â
Julie grabbed her purse and took out a small horseshoe magnet, making your eyes widen.
âI donât play about my threats,â she told Nik. âThat motherfucker broke my best friendâs heart, so Iâll point this magnet at hisââ
âWhere did you even get a magnet like that?â you cut her off and she shrugged.
âI googled it.â
âIâve only seen these in cartoons,â Nik mused, reaching out to get the magnet from Julie before Jamie cleared his throat.
âOur point is,â he said. âYouâre better off without Logan, and I think youâd really like this guy.â
You heaved a sigh, resting your elbows on the counter.
âGuys I really appreciate all the effort,â you said and stole a look at Julie. âAnd the magnet butâseriously, you know how much I hate blind dates.â
âWell does it count as a blind date if we show you his picture?â Nik asked, getting the phone from Jamie before turning the screen so that you could see the picture.
Even you had to admit, he looked cute. It was as if Jamie had decided to find you someone the complete opposite of Logan; he seemed younger than him -around Jamieâs age if you werenât mistaken-, he had dirty blonde hair, and just from the picture alone, you could tell he was the type of person who liked to smile, a lot. Judging by his white coat, he worked in the same hospital Jamie worked in, and you stole a look at him.
âYour coworker?â
âHe works in ER,â Jamie said. âSaved a kidâs life the other day.â
âAnd Iâve met him,â Nik said. âHeâs like a cute puppy but also a badass.â
âAnd he is very handsome, you like handsome,â Julie sang tauntingly and you ran a hand over your face.
âI really donât think itâs a good idea.â
âWhy not?â
âIâm not over Logan yet.â
âThe best way to get over someone is good sex,â Julie pointed out. âWeâre not telling you to move in with the guy. Weâre just telling you to justâŠgo on a date and see where things go.â
âAnd it could help,â Nik said softly. âYou know, distracting yourself from your ex.â
You bit inside your cheek, then clicked your tongue.
âUgh, fine,â you muttered, making them grin. âBut if I donât like him, Iâll leave and you guys will delete that group chat. Alright?â
âDeal.â
                                                *
One of the things you hated about blind dates was that you always got incredibly nervous right before. The urge to text them and stay in instead would always get the best of youânow to think of it, the only person you didnât get that urge with was Logan.
Well.
Logan was out of the picture, and you had to deal with that.
But if anything, at least Jamie knew this guy and was friends with him, so the odds of him being an ass was pretty low.
You pulled over in front of the restaurant before checking your phone to see whether it was in fact the right place, then slipped a little in the seat. This was by no means your first rodeo butâŠ
You really wanted to just go home and get under covers and listen to Julieâs break up playlist.
âWorst case scenario, youâll just have one drink and go back home,â you muttered to yourself. âCome on soldier.â
You checked your makeup in the rear mirror, then got out of the car and locked it before you smoothed out your dress and made your way to the restaurant. The hostess greeted you and after you gave her your name, you followed her into the restaurant.
Oh, he was already there.
If Logan wasnât at the back of your mind, you were sure that you wouldâve been excited. He really was a good looking guy, the smile that appeared on his face upon seeing you looked very genuine, and the fact that he jumped on his feet to greet you was a great sign.
Howeverâ
Okay no, you were not going to think about Logan tonight, not at all.
âHi!â he said and you smiled back.
âHi,â you said and you extended your hand but he went for a hug before he paused and made a move to shake your hand but this time you were the one who went for a hug, so you gave him a curt hug before pulling back.
âJesusâsorry, that was awkward,â he said and you tried to control your giggle at the look of slight regret on his face.
âNo worries,â you assured him and he gave you a tentative smile.
âIâm Hayes.â
You introduced yourself as well before the waiter pulled your chair for you and you thanked him, then sat down. Hayes followed you suit, then motioned at his wine glass and the appetizers.
âI hope you donât mind.â
âNo no, not at all,â you said and looked up at the waiter who put the menu in front of you. âCan I get the same as well? Thank you.â
Waiter nodded and walked away from your table, and you turned to Hayes.
âUh, hi again.â
âHey,â he said with a chuckle. âSo uhâŠblind but not so blind date?â
âSounds about right,â you said. âI mean I saw your picture.â
âSo have I.â
âJamie showed it to you?â
âTechnically no.â
You blinked a couple of times. âHowâs that?â
âJamie has a picture of you and your whole friend group on his desk,â he admitted as the waiter brought your wine and you thanked him. âI saw your pic there and I asked about you in a way that was very subtle in my opinion but Jamie disagrees.â
You raised your brows, smiling slightly. âYouâre not serious.â
âIt was kind of like Jamie was an app and I was fervently trying to swipe.â
A small laugh escaped from your lips and you covered your mouth. âOh my GodâŠâ
âAm I giving off serial killer vibes?â he asked to no one in particular. âBecause I swear I save people for a living, thatâs notâitâs just that you are very pretty and Iâm very rusty when it comes to all this.â
You lowered your hands to give him a bright smile.
âYouâre very sweet,â you said. âI didnât think you were rusty.â
âNo?â he asked and let out a breath. âThank God.â
âItâs been a while?â you asked him after a moment of hesitation and he hummed.
âListen, rusty or not I know talking about previous relationships is a red flag.â
âI donât mind,â you said. âLet me guess, you had a long relationship andâŠ?â
âAnd walked in on her and my best friend.â
âOuch.â
âFormer best friend.â
âStill ouch,â you said with a grimace. âIâm sorry.â
âItâs okay, I meanâI changed cities but it has to be for a good cause. At least thatâs what Iâm choosing to believe.â
âSounds like a good plan.â
âHow about you? I find it hard to believe you go on blind dates if Iâm honest.â
âOh Iâve gone on blind dates,â you assured him. âAnd uhâmy friends have made it their life mission to matchmake me, they apparently have a group chat where they approve people.â
Hayes pulled his brows together. âHoly shit, Iâve been approved in the group chat?â
âYes you have,â you said. âCongratulations.â
âI feel very validated,â he mused, making you giggle. âNo seriously, knowing Jamie, this is the same as passing a very difficult exam with a jury.â
âYeah heâs very protective, especially afterââ you stopped yourself and Hayes shot you a lighthearted look.
âHey, I talked about my ex.â
âWell, I got dumped,â you said with a shrug of your shoulders. âAnd Jamie never approved of him, so now heâs like extra careful.â
Hayes hummed and lifted his wine glass slightly.
âWell, on behalf of all men in this city, weâre all very glad that your ex is an idiot.â
You scoffed a laugh and lifted your glass as well.
âYeah well,â you trailed off, trying your hardest to not let your thoughts drift to Logan. âSo youâre an E.R. doctor?â
âI am,â he said. âAnd you?â
âOh IâŠIâm just a waitress,â you said with a shrug of your shoulders, that feeling of inadequacy hitting you out of nowhere once again. âNothing too exciting.â
âDo you like where you work?â
âYeah, Iâm friends with everyone there except my boss,â you said. âItâs pretty nice. And you? I heard you saved a kidâs life the other day.â
A bright smile appeared on his face. âYeah, thatâs why I like working in the E.R. I can actually make a difference in just seconds, you know? It makes me feel alive, like Iâm doing something right with my life.â
You nodded your head. âI can imagine. Sounds wonderful, really.â
He sipped his wine.
âSo tell me more about you,â he said. âJamie says you have a son?â
âYeah!â you said, your eyes lighting up at the mention of Theo. âYeah I do. Theo. Heâs the cutest kid in the world, and Iâm very objective about it.â
That made him laugh. âAt first I thought Jamie was a father, with all the drawings in his officeâŠâ
âOh he still keeps those?â
âWith all due respect, itâs like a shrine in his office.â
âYou should see his and Nikâs fridge, they have like one picture there and the rest is Theoâs artwork.â
âReally?â
âHe had his artist phase, now heâsââ you started but were cut off when your phone started buzzing. You gave him an apologetic look.
âExcuse me,â you said as you grabbed it out of your purse, but as soon as you saw the name flashing on the screen, your heart dropped.
Logan.
A part of you -the petulant part of you- wanted to reject the call but you took a deep breath, then licked your lips and then answered.
âHello?â
There was a second of hesitation on the other line before he cleared his throat.
âTheo is fine,â he said. âBut he needs you here.â
Your head shot up. âWhat? What happened?â
âThere was a small accidentââ
âWhat accident?â you asked, your heart leaping to your throat as fear crashed down on you. âWhatâis heââ
âLike I said, heâs completely fine, I promise,â he said, his deep voice soothing your fear as always. âHe had a nightmare, his powers took over and he blew up the wall in his room accidentally but heâs fine and so is everyone else. He locked himself in the basement though, and refuses to come out.â
You could feel your throat tightening but you took a shaky breath, then nodded as if he could see you.
âIâm on my way,â you said and hung up before turning to Hayes.
âIâm so sorry,â you said, pushing your phone into your purse. âTheo isâŠheâs in a boarding school in the city but heâhe had a nightmare and he locked himself in the basement.â
âOh Iâm sorry,â Hayes said, frowning. âIs he okay?â
âYeah,â you said despite the anxiety churning your stomach, then stood up. âBut I need to go, he must be terrified.â
âOf course,â Hayes stood up with you. âWould you like me to drive you there?â
âNo no, I can drive,â you said. âI really appreciate it though, thank you.â
âOh itâs nothing, really,â he said. âI hope heâs feels better.â
âSorry, again.â
âYou have nothing to apologize for,â he said. âIs it okay if I get your number from Jamie?â
âSure!â you said. âIâllâIâll see you around I guess?â
âHave a nice night,â he said and you gave him a curt smile, then made your way out of the restaurant, your heart beating in your ears.
                                                *
If it were any other time, you wouldâve been nervous to see Logan after a month, for the first time after your break up but you were so worried about Theo that it didnât even cross your mind that Logan would be the one to greet you.
Which, of course he was the one to greet you by the door. He probably took your scent the moment you drove through the gates.
He looked almost frozen the moment you stepped out of your car but he recovered very fast.
âHeyââ
âWhere is he?â you asked without so much as glance in his direction as you walked past him into the mansion and Logan easily caught up with you.
âIn the basement,â he said. âFollow me.â
When you two got to the basement, Storm and Jean were already there.
âHey, heâs totally fine,â Jean assured you the moment she saw you and Storm nodded her head.
âWe couldâve opened the door but we didnât want to scare him any more than he already is,â she assured you. âHe only said he wants you, and now heâs not talking to us.â
âBut heâs not hurt in any way,â Logan added. âI donât smell any blood or pain, and Jean already checked his mind.â
You raised your brows, then took a deep breath.
âThanks,â you said and smiled at Storm and Jean. âReally, thank you so much. I can take it from here.â
âYou sure?â
âYeah,â you said and swallowed thickly. âItâs not the first time this happens.â
Storm and Jean exchanged glances before Storm turned to you.
âIâll just go and check the other students then.â
âAnd Iâll fill Charles in,â Jean said, squeezing your arm in a reassuring manner before they both walked away and you ran a hand over your face, then walked to the door of the basement and knocked softly.
âBean?â
The only answer you got was a sniffle, breaking your heart to smithereens. You could feel your own eyes burning but you frowned, forcing yourself to focus.
âBean, are you there?â
ââŠYes,â his small voice reached you and you took a deep breath.
âYou think you can open the door?â
âI had a bad dream.â
âI know,â you said, nodding fervently. âEveryone has bad dreams, itâs completely normal. And what do we do when we have bad dreams?â
âWe have hot chocolate because that makes them go away.â
âExactly,â you said. âSo can you open the door please?â
âPeople will be angry at me.â
âWhat? No!â you said. âNo one will be angry at you, I promise.â
âMommy, it was an accident,â he said, a hiccup escaping him and you rested your forehead against the door, squeezing your eyes before swallowing the lump in your throat.
âI know,â you said. âAnd so does everyone. No one is angry at youâLogan, is anyone angry at Theo?â
Logan came closer to the door so that Theo could hear him better.
âNot at all,â he said. âIf anything Iâm a little jealous. Blasting walls is so badass, Iâd love to be able to do that.â
âYou hear that, bean?â
âReally?â Theoâs hopeful voice reached you and Logan smiled slightly.
âSure bub. And hey, turns out weâll have to decide on your superhero costume sooner than you think.â
âThere you go,â you said. âSuperhero costume sounds funââ
A meow cut you off, making you tilt your head.
âBean, is there a cat in there with you?â
ââŠNo.â
Another meow reached you and you raised your brows.
âTheo.â
âI found him here and weâre friends now.â
âOkay,â you muttered more to yourself. âTheoââ
âHis name is Sir Bartholomeow,â Theo added as if it was imperative that you knew that information and you heaved a sigh.
âVery creative bean, but can you please open the door? So that we can drink hot cocoa and I can meet your friend?â
There was a momentary hesitation and another sniffle before you heard the lock turning and you took a step back so that you could see him better. Theo was still in his pajamas, his glasses slightly crooked over his face as if he had put them on in a hurry, his wide teary eyes looking up at you. In his arms, he was holding probably the grumpiest looking cat you had ever seen in your entire life so tight that it was a wonder why the cat wasnât trying to escape. A breath of relief left you and you crouched down to get to his level.
âHi bean,â you said gently. âHow about we give your friend to Logan so that they can be friends and I can make sure youâre okay?â
Logan stepped closer. âYeah bub, I can take the catââ
âSir Bartholomeow,â you and Theo said at the same time and Logan cleared his throat.
âYeah, him.â
Theo sniffled again before tentatively handing Sir Bartholomeow to Logan, and you checked whether he was hurt anywhere before pulling him into a bone crushing hug. Theo was still shaking like a leaf and he mumbled âmommyâ before burying his face to your chest while you stood up with him in your arms.
âIâm here,â you said softly, still holding him tight. âIâm here, itâs fine. I swear everything is gonna be fine.â
                                                 *
Theo never liked being away from you and that turned into a whole different level whenever he had a nightmare. You would be lying if you said you werenât relieved to have him in your sight so after he drank his hot chocolate, you had carried him to bed and stayed with him until he fell asleep, humming the lullaby he used to love when he was a baby.
There it was again.
Times like these, you always remembered just how utterly alone and clueless you were in this whole thing.
You could feel the tears pricking your eyes as you looked down at him, then leaned in to kiss his head and pulled the covers over him, and walked out of the room as quiet as a mouse.
The mansion was mostly quiet, and even though you could still hear the voices coming from the kitchen, you desperately needed to be alone in case you burst into tears, so you walked through the hallway to step outside, the cold wind hitting your face. Heaving a sigh, you made your way to the stairs to sit down, and wiped at your eyes furiously before wrapping your arms around your knees, fixing your gaze on the stars glimmering in the sky.
You heard the front door open before the familiar footsteps came closer and you felt him drop his jacket over your shoulders before he sat down as well.
âHi Logan,â you rasped out, sniffling and he offered you a hesitant smile.
âHey,â he said, putting the bottle of whiskey between you two before he made a face. âShit, I forgot to bring glasses.â
You scoffed a laugh. âWeâve done worse things than drinking from the same bottle.â
âRight,â he said after a beat and you grabbed the bottle to take a swig, grimacing at the burn before putting it down again.
âHowâs your arm?â he asked and you took a shaky breath, then shrugged your shoulders.
âHealed,â you said and turned to look at him better. âI donât even think about it anymore.â
He was too smart to miss the double meaning of your remark and his lips twitched for a moment.
âIâd bet,â he muttered. âFun date then?â
You pulled your brows together in confusion and he nodded at you.
âI havenât seen you in that dress before and you smell like someone else.â
You smelt likeâ
Oh. Hayes had hugged you.
âI donât have the capacity to get into that bullshit right now,â you stated and Logan swallowed thickly, then nodded again.
âRight,â he said. âOf course.â
For a minute, the only thing you could hear were the crickets and the sound of the faint wind in the air before Logan take a deep breath.
âHeâs fine, princess.â
You bit at your nail, blinking back the tears before you shook your head.
âNo heâs not,â you said. âYou and I both know that heâs not fine. Not really.â
âHeâs too powerful,â Logan said. âAccidents like these will happen, you canât really avoid them. What matters is that he hasnât hurt himself or anyone else.â
You took another sip of the whiskey.
âHaving you here helped a lot too,â he said. âHe calms down when he sees you, thatâll be good for him.â
You clicked your tongue.
âYeah, for now,â you muttered and Logan frowned.
âFor now?â
âYeah,â you said. âUntil he grows up and hates me for everything Iâm doing wrong as we speak.â
âThatâs not true.â
âNo no it is, Iâm fucking up big time,â you said with a dry laugh. âJesus, my mom said I had no idea what I was doing and I was too busy arguing with her that I didnât even see it but itâs true. I have no clue.â
âThat doesnât mean youâre doing something wrong.â
âIâve been doing everything wrong,â you told him, blinking back the tears. âHeâs too little to see it now, but sooner or later heâll see that everything that happened to him is my fault, even the fact that his powers showed upââ
You had to stop talking when your voice cracked and you tried to swallow the lump in your throat, sniffling again. He reached out for a second as if he wanted to wipe at the tears falling down your cheeks but then paused, pulling his hand back, his jaw clenching like he was in pain. You wiped at your eyes furiously, letting out a shaky breath.
âIâm terrible at this,â you said, nodding to yourself while Logan kept his burning gaze on you.
âI promise you, youâre not,â he said. âTheo adores you, and I think youâre the best parent Iâve ever seen in my life which in case it has escaped your notice, thatâs a lot of years.â
You raised your brows, wiping at your nose before you cleared your throat and took off the jacket to place it into his lap, then stood up with Logan following you suit.
âI can drive you home,â he said and you threw your shoulders back, trying to pull yourself together.
âI had like three sips of whiskey, I can drive.â
âI can still drive you, itâs been a long night.â
âIâm fine.â
âNo I want to,â he insisted and you tilted your head, giving him a questioning look. His eyes met yours before he took a deep breath.
âI justâŠâ he trailed off. âI want toâI want to make myself useful.â
You frowned, staring at him. âWhy?â
âNo reason,â he said. âDonât get me wrong, I donât ask for anything, justâŠlike I said. I want to make myself useful. I need to make myself useful.â
Your stomach did a flip as a painful smile curled your lips.
Oh.
This. You were familiar with this.
You had been through the same. You were in fact going through the same right now, frantically looking for something to ease the pain. Your solution was to follow your friendsâ advice and try to date around, ignoring the way it just felt wrong when you were still in love with him, and Loganâ
Logan was dealing with it in such a Logan way that it was almost ironic how you didnât see it coming.
âItâs not going to help,â you said, your voice a mere whisper and he gulped, his jaw clenching.
âIt could,â he managed to say through his teeth and you sniffled, shaking your head.
âIt wonât,â you rasped out. âIâm sorry, it wonât.â
The agony that flashed over his handsome features twisted at your heart but you managed to smile at him.
âGood night Logan,â you murmured and walked away from him, painfully aware of his eyes following you.

A Quick Chat
'Absolutely not!'
'I'm just gonna talk with him!'
Following the quickly escalating shouts down to the Batcave Bruce found Dick and a heavily armed Tim at each other's throats while their siblings oh so helpfully egged them on.
They were arguing about Wally and their last universal saving mission for some reason and Tim had nearly every contingency he could think of to handle a speedster on him.
-nna talk, that's it!'
'Then you can leave the gear here!'
'What's going on?'
All of his children froze, finally realizing he was here before they started shouting over each other.
'You remem-'
'-ick's trying to-'
'Father Dr-'
'-ng crazy, just because the universe re-'
'Enough!'
'Now, can someone tell me what's going on or do I have to get Alfred?'
And Jason was happy enough to tell him. 'Replacement's pissed because we finally discovered a pretty big difference with the universe after the League hit the reset button.'
Multiple screens on the Batcomputer held information on new heroes, a Junior JLD and everything Tim could dig up on two individuals. The first one was Phantom, a new addition to the Titans and had a number of detailed conspiracy theories tracking his appearances through time while the other held the detailed background information of a recently graduated Daniel James Fenton. Tim had dug up everything from his kindergarten grades to... Oh... Oh no... That explains why they were arguing about Wally.
Most of Daniel's latest online post covered his move to Gotham, his new job offer working in their engineering department and his new boyfriend Bernard. Looking at it all made it painfully easy to piece together that... 'They stole my life!'
And Dick and Tim were arguing again but Bruce knew it wouldn't get too heated and focused his attention on the gathered information. It was easy to see that a number of encounters his kids (mainly his oldest three) should have had with the Titans were adjusted just enough to fit Phantom now and Tim's involvement with the Children of Dionysus had been shifted around to involve Daniel in this new universe.
'-e universe reset doesn't mean you can ruin their lives. Phantom seems like a good kid.'
'Dowd would have left you eventually.'
Dick had to hold Tim back from launching himself at Damien while Jason and Steph stood by egging the two of them on, but then Tim got that look in his eye when Duke brought up the idea of reintroducing himself and everyone noticed.
'No.'
'Come on. Tim, you don't need another restraining order.'
'But it didn't happen in this universe so it doesn't count.'
'It counts if we still remember it!'
But Tim wasn't listening, too busy changing out of all of his gear as a plan quickly started forming together in his mind.
Why waste time with Wally when he can just as easily win over the new couple while ignoring everything else he's learned from his friends.
He'd figure it out one mess at a time. After he won Bernard back he'd figure out the situation between Red Robin and Phantom.
-_- -_- -_-
Reading over the sticky note Danny couldn't help but wonder what Clockwork meant when he wrote 'Have Fun'.
Again, I blame my medication for this, but this came from a couple of different prompts about Tim, Bernard and Danny and I just sort of went with it. Basically the main roster of the League has to stop (Pick a threat) and end up resitting the universe again. The problem is they still remember the old universe so they spend a week or two looking up any big changes and a sleep deprived Tim starts believing he barely knows Bernard in this universe when he's actually dating him and Danny. He just hasn't dug deep enough to figure out his own connection.

ok but like consider,, dazai, akutagawa, kunikida and atsushi (or anyone else u wanna add my request is mainly for akutagawa and kunikida) working alone and you open your coat to reveal you're just wearing lingerie underneath <3
Ah, such a classic move! <3
Characters: Kunikida Doppo, Dazai Osamu, Akutagawa Ryuunosuke, Nakajima Atsushi, Nakahara Chuuya
Contents: gn!reader, exhibitionism, semi-public sex, mild derogatory dirty talk
Kunikida Doppo
Kunikida is often to be found working late in the Armed Detective Agencyâs office, especially after the conclusion of a case. Or if Dazai has been especially a pain in the ass that day and prevented Kunikida from keeping to his packed work schedule. Kunikida is not the type of man whoâll let the dayâs work slip over to tomorrow. Thatâs how nations start to crumble (according to him).Â
Hours after the rest of the agency have gone home, even Fukuzawa, Kunikida is still there, typing away at his laptop, the glare of the screen making his glasses seem opaque. His only concession to the late hour is a half-drunk cup of coffee sitting beside the laptop.Â
His head twists around when the door to the agency office opens. Who could it be this late at night? Atsushi coming to check up on him? Dazai coming to sleep on the couch again? He tenses when he sees the tan colour of a trenchcoat through the wavy glass of the office door, but his shoulders loosen when he sees you in the doorway.Â
âWhat are you doing here so late?â he asks you, turning back to finish that last bit of paperwork. âAnd whatâs with the coat? Youâre not trying to dress like Dazai now, are you?â
He hopes not. Kunikida doesnât need to be jump-scared like that every time you meet up with him. Heâs only half-listening when you give him some excuse about being cold. Faintly, he picks up the sound of high heels clicking against the polished floorboards as you make your way over to him. He catches a hint of perfume as you come to stand at his shoulder.Â
âIâm almost finished,â he grunts, his fingers flying so fast across the keyboard they seem to blur slightly at the edges. Heâs tired, and it must be late indeed if youâve come to pick him up. He turns his head to ask about what you two should pick up for dinner on the way home, when his jaw falls open like someone pulled out a screw holding it shut.
Youâve allowed your trenchcoat to fall open, revealing your body clad in scraps of structured silk and lace. Something classy and timeless, in soft cream or sultry black. Itâs like something out of an old movie or a vintage catalogue. Kunikidaâs glasses steam up briefly, before he slams his laptop closed.
âDoppo,â you chide, faking a gasp. âYou didnât put a period on that last sentence of your paperwork. You canât just leave itâŠunfinished like that.â
Kunikida pulls off his glasses, his expression stern. âThis time,â he proclaims, his voice deep and momentous, âIâll make an exception.â
Kunikida drives you home, driving so close to the speed limit heâs practically edging it, with one hand buried firmly between your thighs. If youâre very misbehaved, he might use his notebook to conjure something to keep youâŠoccupiedâŠon the drive home.
Dazai Osamu
You went one better for this and stole Dazaiâs trenchcoat. Letâs leave it up for debate whether he knew what you were up to and let you steal his coat to pull off your little performanceâitâs more fun that way.Â
Because itâs Dazai, you arrange to meet at a bar for a date. Preferably one where heâs not already run up a tab or been slapped by all of the female bartenders and waiting staff. There are a few of those left in Yokohama, you just have to look really hard for them.Â
When you arrive, Dazai is sitting on a barstool, one foot propped on the footrest, his elbows on the bar. Heâs sans trenchcoat, dressed in his dark waistcoat, with the sleeves of his blue pinstripe shirt rolled up to his mid-forearm, revealing the bandages wrapped around his wrists. Spotting you in the reflection of the bottles behind the bar, he glances over at you. Dazaiâs dark eyes sweep over you from head to toe, and he immediately knows thereâs something interesting going on beneath that trenchcoat.
âYou know,â he drawls. âI lost a coat just like that this morning. Itâs quite the startling coincidence, donât you think?â
He's so intrigued that he even cracks open his wallet to buy you a drink (shocking, I know). Dazai's eyes are glued to the sight of you cinched into his coat. His eyes drop down when you sit on the barstool beside him, crossing your legs. His fingers tighten around the cut crystal of his glass.Â
"Is that...lace?"
At your smug confirmation that is indeed lace, Dazai knocks back his drink. No time to savour the liquor. He pinches the hem of the trenchcoat and lifts it up a little further to see the stocking clinging to your thigh.Â
Dazai's eyes glint dangerously in the dim overhead lights of the bar.Â
"Bella." His voice is a lusty purr as his hand runs up your thigh, fingers plucking at the top of your stocking, tracing circles into your soft flesh. "I'll give you a thirty second head start. When I catch up to you..."
I hope you can find somewhere relatively private in the next thirty seconds.Â
Akutagawa Ryuunosuke
If you thought it might be a good idea to copy the move above and wear Akutagawaâs trenchcoat over your lingerie, let me gently pry that idea from your eager little hands. It is not a good idea, and it will not end well. Just get your own trenchcoat. Maybe in a nice shade of camel?
Akutagawa waits impatiently for you in the middle of town, watching the civilians amble around between stores, his eyes narrowed in irritation. He doesn't know why you asked to meet him here, but it feels like a waste of his time. He decides he will wait only five more minutes before he leaves.
A flicker of something pale from the corner of his eye. It's a Pavlovian responseâAkutagawa's head whips around. Instead of his former master, he instead spots you click-clacking toward him in a pair of heels, wrapped in a light trenchcoat. Hair? Done. Make-up? Flawless.Â
Akutagawa's forehead furrows, his voice pitched low with annoyance and confusion. "Why are you wearing that?"
You're used to his pricky demeanour by now and it doesn't faze you. You turn so you are facing away from the crowds, slowly untying the belt. You peel open the front of the waistcoat enough to give Akutagawa a glimpse of what lies underneath.Â
Black lace. Smooth skin. Silk.Â
His throat tightens, and for once it doesn't signal the onset of a coughing fit. Akutagawa's eyes widen, his teeth and fists clenching.
"What in the hells are you wearing?" he demands.
"Lingerie," you say, retying the the belt of your trenchcoat. "Don't you like it?"
Akutagawa knows every alley and alcove of Yokohama. Every blind spot and dead end. He puts this knowledge to good use as he manhandles you into the nearest semi-private spot. Bands of Rashoumon wrap around your wrists and ankles, pinning you up against the alleyway wall.Â
Akutagawa's pale hands tremble with suppressed excitement as he unties the trenchcoat and peels it open again. The sight of you, dressed in such a lewd fashion and bound, makes his cock harden fast enough to make him dizzy. His voice is low, curt.
"If you insist on dressing like a harlot, I shall treat you like one. After all, that is what you wanted, is it not? My attention."
Please don't worry about making any noise. He'll simply use Rashoumon to gag you. <3
Nakajima Atsushi
Oh dear, are you trying to give the poor boy a heart attack?
Atsushi is at the Armed Detective Agency office alone. Perhaps it's lunchtime and the rest of the agents and staff have retired downstairs for coffee and lunch at Cafe Uzumaki. Atsushi needs to finish his report, or he's flat broke and doesn't want to have to mooch of Kunikida in the cafe again, so he's eating some cold rice balls at his desk.
He sputters on a mouthful of onigiri when the door swings open, popping up like a daisy from his desk, expecting it to be a client. He sags in relief when he sees it is just you, hastily brushing some grains of rice from the front of his shirt.
âHi!â
Oh, heâs so chirpy to see you. It really is adorable. Look at how the smile blossoms on his face. There are practically sparkles coming off him as he heads toward you.Â
Only for Atsushi to stop in his tracks when you casually untie the front of your coat and flash him the sight of your body in sweet, pink-and-white lingerie. Youâre frosted in lace and frills like a little cupcake, and Atsushiâs brain jams like the printer.
âH-buh? Whuh? YouâŠyouâŠâ
His face burns crimson, standing out stark against his white hair, and he whips his head around to make sure there is no one else in the office, even though heâs relatively sure heâs alone. Atsushi grabs the front of your coat and covers you up, flushing when you laugh at his embarrassment.
âWhat are you wearing?â he hisses, his eyes wide as saucers. âWhy are you wearing it here?â
âI thought it would be a nice surprise~â
âIt is,â he stammers. âItâs veryâŠitâs so nice.â He opens the coat a little, peeking at what lies beneath, before closing it again, his ears burning. âButâŠbut not here. Maybe at home?â
You give an airy shrug. âPerhaps you can tell Kunikida you werenât feeling well so you had to go home early?â
Smash cut to Atsushi fake-coughing down the phone to Kunikida.Â
Nakahara Chuuya
It's late. Yokohama is a glittering sprawl beneath the windows of Chuuya's plush office. The office is dim, save for the light of his laptop screen and the recessed, moody red lighting of his shelves. He eases away from his emails, rubbing at his eyes, and crosses the room to pour himself a whiskey from the cut glass decanters.Â
For Chuuya, 'working late' often involves taking a few heavies and going to threaten someone, not sitting and trawling through emails, but now and then he needs to engage with the corporate bullshit that comes with being an executive.Â
The buzz of his personal phone draws his attention. He scoops it up, his thumb tapping the screen. He has his gloves made custom so they work with touchscreens. A text message from you pops open and he grins, leaning against the edge of his desk.Â
The image is simple, but evocative. Smooth skin under red lace. He's not even entirely sure which body part it is, but it's tantalising all the same. He's sure he'll find out after your dinner reservation that evening. Steak, of course.
A knock sounds at his office door and he lets out an annoyed grunt, immediately locking his phone and laying it facedown on his desk.Â
"Yeah, come in."
His annoyance evaporates the moment you saunter in, all high heels and cinched black trenchcoat. And damn, is that red lipstick? It is.Â
"Hey, doll. Whatcha doin' here?"Â
He's running his gaze over that trenchcoat, trying to imagine what you're wearing underneath. His smile widens into a full-blown grin when you turn and lock the door behind you.Â
"Don't know where this is comin' from, but I like where it's goin'."
You make a show of it, untying the knot on the belt, letting the smooth fabric rasp as it slides against itself. First baring one shoulder, then the next, shimmying the coat off you like its a fur stole. It crumples to the ground, leaving you in all your glory.
Chuuya drags a hand down his face, letting out a low, ragged laugh that sounds just this side of feral.
"Fuck, dollface..."
Bro launches himself at you, pushing you up against the back of his office door. His gloved hands slide over your bare skin, gravity starting to make less and less of an impression on you as he floats you. His mouth crushes against yours.Â
Unfortunately, you miss your dinner reservation by several hours.Â

smile you're on camera â lando norris
when miami hits different... lando norris x you (femreader) | 1.8k rating â 18+ (sex, coarse language) masterlist
âThat all looked sufficiently cringe.â
Landoâs gruff laugh echoes as he slid the balcony door open for you. You had been watching him for the past half hour filming promotional content for the Miami GP, each one cheesier than the last and you couldnât help but admire his work ethic â even if it meant watching him make a complete fool of himself in the blistering heat.
A grumbled âyouâve got no ideaâ paired with a deep sigh in reply was all you were going to get and a sweet kiss pressed to the back of your head.
He helped you collect the book youâd abandoned in lieu of watching him glow in the golden hour and retreat inside from the humidity, still suffocating as the sun set off in the distance. The sweet relief of the air con as you stepped inside provided a little bit of respite while Lando shuffled around the room, closing windows and doors, trapping what cool air you did have inside your hotel room.
âI have something to show youâŠâ
Lando sheepishly declares as you splay out on the hotel bed, grumbling through a jaw splitting yawn, âWhat is it?â âI stole it.â That got your attention, shooting up from where you were laying down, âBut Iâll take it back tomorrow⊠after weâve used it.â
Sitting in his hot little hands was a camcorder that had seen better days, scratches on its lens and all. Lando watched your shocked expression fall to one of annoyance as you sat back on your hands, eyebrow quirked and scowl present on your pretty face.
âAbsolutely not.â
âAw come on,â He drawls, holding the camera up to his eye â the other squinted behind the viewfinder, âI swapped in one of my SD cards and I know youâre into this kinky shit. Admit itâŠâ
Lando kept the camera up, the little red light that was on all of those old school recorders flashed in the dark. Your eyes were rolling when his grabby reached out for your hip, âYouâre out of your mind.â
âThatâs the effect you have on me, baby.â
A soft hum slips from your lips feeling the pads of his fingers tracing down the outside of your thigh, too easily convinced by the man who consumed your every thought; every desire. You missed him when he was gone, the days spent with him slimmer as the season lulled on. So, maybe having something to reference on those cold, lonely nights was excuse enough to indulge the idea. And he was right â you are into this shit.
âJust make sure you canât see too much,â You whisper into the air, giving the green light.
Landoâs little noise tells you everything. He's excited about this; you can tell by the way he nips and presses a couple of sloppy kisses to your cheek before scurrying off to set up the camera. He was a giggly mess thinking about how fucking lucky he was to be with someone who was up for anything. Equal parts classy and devious â just the way he likes it.
âHop up on the bed so I can frame you,â He sweetly instructs, eyes trained on the small screen lighting his dark features, ocean eyes a moody blue.
You do as youâre told and crawl up onto the comically large bed, propped up on one elbow with hair a mess. Lando smiles when he shifts focus onto you â the sheer white dress you were wearing flaunting everything he loved about your body. All curves and supple skin, pebbled nipples peaking through â the silverware you had secretly added to them as a surprise for him peaking through under the fabric.
âYou are so fucking pretty,â He almost whimpers; a warm flush washing over your sticky skin. It was hot in the room you were in and the way Lando was eyeing you from behind the camera was searing.
âCan you take the dress off for me?â his voice was a lower octave than before, eyes still watching your shadowed body moving across the messy bed.
âNot sure how to make this look sexy butâŠâ You huff, carelessly tearing the thin material over your head and throwing it to the side, âyour wish is my command.â
Lando chuckles quietly and strides over to you, no longer able to keep his hands off what was his. He hopes thereâs enough space on his card for what he was about to do to you â because in reality, this was selfishly for him to indulge in when you werenât near, to feel like you were close when youâre a million miles away. You sat on the edge of the bed, eyes following his as he reaches out and presses down your hair, frizzed up by the dress sitting on the floor beside his feet.
âSo cute,â He admires, âAnd somehow even sexierâŠâ
He leans down and meets your craned neck halfway in a tender, reassuring kiss, âIf it gets too weird just say, baby.â
His words were just loud enough for you to hear, not for the camera â just you, âOh, you know I will.â
He laughs into the kiss, knowing that you were in full control of this situation â he was under no illusions when it came to your dynamic. It was laced through your entire relationship, the fair balance of power â of give and take. But tonight, all he wanted was to make you feel good and so he rested between your already shaky thighs and pried them apart, basking in how seduced you are by his little ploy.
âYou pretend like this shit doesnât turn you on but look at you,â He revels, one solitary finger brushing languidly through your folds and earning an impatient growl.
Lando wasnât in the mood for teasing â the battery life on the camera and your legs wrapping tightly around his head made sure of that. He helps you shuffle back on the bed, hands gripping your hips as he rearranges the shot â you caught a glimpse of the blurry reflection of the two of you naked on the camera lens and it sent a pang of doubt down your spine, chilling.
âI hope we donât look disgusting when we watch this back.â It was an honest thought â one you hope doesnât kill the mood.
âYou look so unbelievably hot,â Lando hums, kissing the top of your shoulder before pressing his hand to your lower back, âLay on your front and Iâll fuck you like thisâŠâ
You raise a sceptical eyebrow, âFrom the back? This is getting real porny now.â But of course you do it, positioning yourself on your stomach, backside up with a playful smirk that had the man behind you grinning like an idiot.
âMight as well put on a bit of a show just in case this does get out somehow,â Lando teases, earning a swift round arm to the ribs. He grimaces in pain but you knew behind those flirtatious blue eyes, he loves it.
âWell you better fuck me good, huh? Wouldnât want people thinking youâre a dud shagâŠâ Now it was your turn to taunt and Landoâs reaction was the exact one you were praying for.
A hasty smack to your ass that had been brushing against his clothed cock for better part of a minute; it wasnât a hard but it certainly wasnât timid, either and the moan that slipped from your lips had him itching to rearrange your insides. He smoothed over the reddening mark and pressed a sweet kiss to your spine before pushing down the waistband of his sweatpants, freeing himself between your thighs.
âDonât hold back those sweet sounds, pretty girl. I wanna hear you, okay? I want everyone to hear youâŠâ
âSame goes for you, handsome.â
Your eyes flutter shut as you surrender to the delicious stretch he gives you. Weakly pushing back but making no head way in adjusting. A whimper falls from your mouth before the squeal when Lando lunges forward, pushing deeper with a sadistic grin lining his bitten lips. He was sweating already â tanned skin glimmering against the darkening sunset while every muscle on his stomach contracted, delving further into your depths.
âThatâs it, Lan,â You sputter out, blowing stray hairs out of your face so you can get a good look at your boyfriend, âMove it just like that â yesâŠâ
And he did, rotating your hips tantalisingly slow to begin but gradually building up his long, delectable strokes â the sounds of skin slapping and shallow breathing heightening all of the senses. In the midst of his relentlessness, you manage to slip your hand between your thighs, toying with the sensitive bud begging for your attention. Landoâs strained hum of approval when he felt your back arching sent a rush of blood to your fingertips.
âTell me how good it feels when you play with yourself?â He asks, hunched over and kissing the nape of your neck when you opened your eyes, giggling at the wispy curls tickling your skin, âIs that how you do it when Iâm not around?â
âGod, yes⊠But wish you were always here, baby.â
âDo ya imagine me fucking you like this, huh? Begging for that pussy to come around my cock?â He probes, receiving a moan in response â your brain short-circuiting from the orgasm quickly approaching, easing you over the edge. Â
You buried your head at first, shying away from the little red light flashing in your rolling eyes until Lando gently encouraged you to âshow him your pretty face when you come undoneâ. It was all whispers and moans and absolute bliss when you resurfaced, pupils blown out from both sides as Lando reached over you and flipped the small preview screen around.
âLook at yourself,â He grunts into your neck, losing control of every single fibre of his being as he pumped into you.
âFill me up, Lan. Make a messâŠâ
âIf you say shit like that to me, you're gonna make meâ fucking⊠fuck,â He sputters out, chanting your name, and before you can even blink, you feel that familiar twitch inside you.
The one that almost always triggers another high, extremely close to losing yourself to the white hot pleasure all over again.
Lando collapses into your slick back, his warm release pooling as he catches his breath and holds you tightly. You look up at the camera â the red light still flashing as you muster up every ounce of energy remaining and pick it up off the tripod. You hold it stupidly close to his flushed cheeks that are pressed into your skin, eyes closed.
âAny last words before I turn this off?â You ask, Lando slowly lifts his chin up and rests it next to your face. You smile at how equally fucked out and sleepy you both appear, blissfully satisfied by your work. His voice is gravelly when he tries to speak, clearing his throat before trying again.
âUm, yeah so make sure you like the video and subscribe if you havenât alreadyâŠâ
âStop!â You shout and smack him in the shoulder â Lando groans with faux pain into your neck as you turn the camera off and wriggle out of his strong grasp.
âYou are unbelievable!â You jest, swatting his tickling fingertips away.
âWhat? I couldâve said stay tuned for part twoâŠâ
a/n â happy new years everyone x

Bad Puppy | Wanda Maximoff & Natasha Romanoff
Summary: Y/N isnât in the right headspace today, and when Wanda lets Natasha go too far with her punishment, she has to make it up to her poor puppy.
Warnings: pet play, spankings, dirty talk
Word count: ~2.5k
AN: Iâm so nervous about posting this because Iâve never really written anything like this. I hope you all like it!
âą
âBad puppies get punished,â Wanda said without looking up from her work. âYou know that, pet.â
âYes, mommy.â I responded softly, not wanting to antagonize her further.
âAnd today mommy is far too busy with work to punish you, so Iâm having Tasha come and do it for me.â
My eyes widened. Natasha was coming to punish me?
âBut, mommy -â
âI donât want to hear it.â She took a break from typing to crack her knuckles, then looked at me. âUnless you want Tasha to stay over tonight.â
âNo.â I whimpered. âIâm sorry.â
âGood girl.â She looked down at her paperwork, picked up a pen and scribbled something down before typing again. âSheâll be here any minute so go lay down. You know how she likes you.â
I almost started crying at her words. I did like playing with Natasha, really, but I didnât want to play today. Puppies didnât talk back to mommy so I couldnât tell her how I felt, so I just went and laid down on the pullout couch she had in her office.
I lay pouting when Natasha walked in, dressed in a pencil skirt and plain white top, and high heels to finish off the ensemble. She closed the double doors behind her and approached Wandaâs desk, completely ignoring me.
âWanda. I hear someoneâs been bad.â
She took a moment to look up at the other woman, nodding as she did so.
âVery. My little pet needs to be punished, but Iâm just swamped with work today.â
âI see.â She said as her eyes scanned over the various piles of paperwork she had on her desk. âSo thatâs why you called me.â
âExactly.â She leaned back in her chair and looked up at the older woman. âI know youâll dish out the appropriate punishment for my little pup.â
Natasha finally turned to look at me, spread and waiting for her on the luxuriously large couch.
âSheâs well trained, at least.â She walked over to me and ran her hand along the edge of the couch, fingers brushing the soft, silk cushions.
âSheâs well trained for you.â Wanda rolled her eyes. âSheâs been a bit of a brat lately.â
âItâs because youâre working too much and too hard.â She walked back over to Wanda and stood behind her chair, reaching over and massaging her shoulders. âYouâre gonna work yourself to death.â
âMm,â she moaned, her head lulling back against the headrest as Natasha worked out the knots in her upper back and shoulders. âYouâre right, but I need to earn a living.â
âWanda, youâre one of the top five richest women in New York.â She leaned down and pressed a kiss to her neck and Wanda tilted her head to give her better access. âYou need some time off. You need someone to take care of you.â
My ears perked up at that, watching them from my place on the couch.
âNot today, Tasha.â Wanda finally sighed and Natasha stood up straight, returning her gaze to me.
âI know. Today is for the pup.â
I trembled where I lay, watching as her hungry eyes ran over my bare body. I didnât want to play today! I wanted to be with mommy!
Usually Natasha and Wanda played with me whether I said I wanted to or not, but they always listened for a safe word. Iâve never used it, always coming around and wanting to play after a while, but today wasnât like that. But, puppies didnât talk back to their mommies.
Natasha walked back over to me and climbed onto the pullout bed, crawling over to me like I was some kind of small prey. Wanda stole a glance at us, her eyes hovering over me before returning to her computer screen.
Natasha rolled me over and rubbed her hand along the swell of my ass, propping herself up on her elbow as she laid next to me.
âWanda,â she spoke as she caressed me. âWhy havenât you painted this ass red already?â
âI figured youâd rather do the honors.â She continued to type. âI know you so enjoy a good spanking.â
âI do.â She slapped my ass and I whimpered, gripping at the sheets beneath me. âEspecially when someone deserves it.â
âMommy,â I whimpered, turning my head to face her, but she didnât even spare me a glance. âPlease.â
âMommy wonât help you if youâve been bad.â She smacked my ass again. âShe might actually enjoy hearing you cry.â
âI think I might.â She said with a smile, tilting her head slightly so she could see Natasha spank me.
Natasha spanked me again and again, causing me to cry into the pillows. My ass was red, burning and raw once she was done, which felt like hours later. I had been bad, yes, I had disobeyed mommy, so I deserved this.
âI love it when she cries.â She directed at Wanda, but kept looking at me. âYou really have the most perfect pet.â
âSheâs perfect when she listens.â
âIâll listen, mommy, I promise!â I cried and Natasha laughed.
âShe says sheâll be good, mommy. What do you think?â She said as she rubbed my ass, causing me to hiss from the pain.
âI donât believe her.â She said, resting her head on her hand. âI donât think she means it.â
âMaybe her pussy needs a spanking too.â
âMama, please, Iâm sorry! Iâll listen to you! I wonât disobey you again!â
âMhm.â She hummed and Natasha laughed again.
âIâm sure sheâll listen, mommy. At least she definitely will once Iâm done with her.â
I buried my face in the pillows, crying freely. Why wouldnât mommy believe me?
Natasha flipped me back over, running her hand over my mound. I cried when my ass hit the sheets, and covered my eyes so I didnât have to look at them. I was embarrassed that I couldnât be good enough for mommy that she had to call Natasha over. I was embarrassed that I had been spanked.
âLook at Natasha, detka.â Wanda said smiling. âLook at her when she spanks your pussy.â
I removed my hands from my face, balling them up at my sides. I sniffled softly as I watched Natasha pet me, my chest heaving as I tried catching my breath. She wasnât hitting me yet, but my body trembled in anticipation.
âSheâs shaking.â Natasha said with a smile. âShe must be excited.â
Wanda got up from her desk and went into her bag, retrieving a rose gold buttplug with a little tail on the end. She walked over to us and handed it to Natasha, who eyed it excitedly.
âI was in such a rush this morning, I forgot to put this in.â
âKeep those legs spread, pup.â
Natasha spread me further and tried to insert the plug into my ass dry, causing my muscles to push her out.
âTasha,â Wanda chided. âYou need to get it wet first.â She gestured to me with her head. âUse her mouth.â
âOpen wide.â Natasha brought the plug to my lips and slipped it into my mouth.
I pulled away from her and she grabbed at the leash attached to the collar I always wore and pulled me back toward her to take the plug in my mouth.
âGet it nice and wet.â She said softly, a sadistic smile on her face.
Tears stained my cheeks as I swirled my tongue around the plug, doing as she asked. I was taking the punishment I knew I deserved but I wasnât sure how much more I could take today.
âSheâs such a needy slut. She needs all her holes filled up, doesnât she?â
I didnât respond. She popped the plug out of my mouth and pushed me back down on the plush cushions beneath me, spreading my legs once again to insert the plug into my ass.
âSheâs so tight.â Natasha said as she attempted to push the plug in again. âI love it.â
I let out a grunt as she finally got it through my ring of muscles, relaxing at the familiar feel of my plug in my ass.
âThere you go. Puppyâs got her tail now. I thought something was missing.â She reached up to pet my head, touching the ears I had clipped to my hair.
âI do love when sheâs all dressed up for me.â Wanda leaned over and tugged at my tail gently, drawing a low moan from the back of my throat.
âShe likes her ass getting played with, huh? She really is a whore.â
âMommy âŠâ I looked up at her with teary eyes, but she continued to examine my tail.
âI might need to get her a bigger one for when sheâs bad. Maybe one thatâs a little longer and with a little more girth.â
âIâve seen some pretty ones in the shop,â Natasha chimed in. âTheyâve got a lot of things your pet would look delicious in.â
Wanda smiled at her before walking back over to her desk. She went in her drawer and pulled out a wooden hairbrush - one that was not used for hair - and brought it over to Natasha.
âI need to purchase a few different things. Paddles in different sizes are one of them.â She handed her the brush and Natasha ran it over my slit.
âA hairbrush is classic, though.â She tapped it on my mound gently and I nearly jumped right out of my skin. âItâs got a different texture than the paddle.â
Wanda hummed in agreement and Natasha began spanking my pussy, sharp, lingering strokes of the brush.
âCount for Natasha, pet.â
I was unsure of how many times she had already hit me. I opened my mouth to speak and she gave me another smack, and all that came out of my mouth was a whimpering cry.
âSheâs too dumb of a whore to count.â She continued to spank me, my pussy red and raw, and I cried, attempting to close my legs to cover myself.
She pushed my legs open and spanked me harder, ignoring my cries. Wanda watched as Natasha punished me, her eyes hard and unwavering.
âThank Natasha for spanking you, detka.â
âThank you, Tasha.â I cried, blubbering like a baby.
âHow many was that?â She asked Wanda and she raised her eyebrows.
âTwenty. My obedient pet shouldâve been counting.â
âIâm sorry, mommy.â I just wanted to get back in her good graces.
âHm,â Natasha slid her fingers into my heat, causing me to cry harder from the pain. âSheâs wet. Dumb slut even gets wet from punishment.â
I couldnât control my body, but everything hurt. My heart just wasnât in it today, I wasnât feeling good anymore.
âRed, mommy. Red.â I finally squeaked out, her eyes widening as she finally looked at me.
âNatasha, could you wait in the other room for a minute?â
The other woman nodded and climbed off the couch, straightening out her clothes before leaving the room, quietly closing the door behind her.
âDetka.â Wanda said softly, coming to sit next to me, resting her hand on my bare thigh. âWhat happened?â
âI donât want to play.â I cried, covering my eyes with my hands. âI deserved to be punished, but I donât wanna play.â
âWhy didnât you say something earlier, baby?â She rubbed my thigh, comforting me.
âBecause I deserved it.â
âHey. Look at me.â I peeked at her from behind my hands and she waited until I was fully looking at her before she continued speaking. âYou deserved to be punished, yes, but not if you werenât in the right headspace to be punished.â
I sniffled softly, wiping my eyes with the back of my hand.
âYou need to speak up when youâre not feeling good, okay?â
I nodded.
âAre you still mad, mama?â
âNo, malyshka. You took your punishment, you did good. But, donât do this again. If you donât feel right, we wonât play, okay? This isnât fun for mommy if it isnât fun for you.â
âOkay, mama, Iâm sorry.â
âI know. Come here.â
She held out her arms to me and I climbed into her lap, curling up in her embrace despite the pain on my ass and pussy. She held me close and rocked me, petting my hair.
âYouâre my good girl. You did so good today. Do you want to sit with mommy while she works?â
I nodded and she pressed a kiss to my head.
âIâm gonna go tell Tasha we wonât be needing her anymore today, okay? Iâll be right back.â
She put me back down on the couch and got up, walking out and talking to Natasha.
I laid down and waited for her. My breathing finally evened out as I relaxed and calmed down. Mommy wasnât mad and now I didnât need to be punished any more today. I would get to cuddle with mommy and everything would be better tomorrow.
She walked back into the room, her gaze softening as she saw me curled up and practically falling asleep. She went and sat in her office chair, patting her lap for me to sit with her. I climbed off of the couch and almost ran to sit with her, letting her wrap her arms around me as I got comfortable on her lap. She began typing again and rested her chin on top of my head. This was all I wanted. I wanted to be with mommy today.
I nuzzled my face against her neck, taking the sensitive skin in my mouth and sucking gently. I slipped my hand up her shirt and palmed her breast, playing with her nipple through her bra as I sucked on her neck. I couldnât be happier.
She ran her hand along the swell of my ass, hushing me when I hissed from the pain. She was just trying to comfort me.
âDo you want the cream?â
I shook my head slightly, not wanting to let go of her. I could handle the pain that I had deserved. I didnât want us to part and I didnât want to be a bother to her. I knew she had a lot of work to do.
âIf you change your mind, let me know.â She pressed another kiss to the side of my head and continued to work.
âMama?â I asked softly, looking at the dark mark I left on her neck.
âHm?â
âDo you ⊠need someone to take care of you?â
Her brow furrowed in confusion before she remembered the conversation she had with Natasha.
âNo, detka. I have you. I donât need anyone else.â
I smiled to myself and rested my head against her.
âAm I more important than your work?â
âOf course you are, baby. What a silly question.â
I was important to her. I was hers and she was mine. Now that everything was settled, I couldnât wait to play with mommy and Natasha again.

â two wheels and a hot guy.
pairings. gojo satoru, fem!reader tags. 1k wc, biker boy x biker girl au, non-sorcerer au, crack, fluff, dirty jokes (?), satoru rides an s1k, biker!sukuna mentions, same au as my other fic. sparked by a random idea bcos why haven't we thought abt biker!gojo honestly? he would be so funny on tiktok if he was a biker boy lmao
Youâve all heard about Biker!Sukuna. That famous biker boy on biketok who has tattoos and rides a blacked out Yamaha R1.Â
But have you heard about Biker!Gojou?Â
Well⊠For starters, Satoru Gojou wasnât a seasoned biker.Â
In fact, he was more of a poser than anything, but youâd never catch him admitting that. His prized BMW S1000RR, the crown jewel of superbikes, was more about image than skill. The sleek, aggressive lines of the machine, combined with the prestige of the BMW logo, were all he needed to keep up appearances on TikTok. And he learned that appearances were everything, especially when Sukuna, with his obnoxious face tattoos and natural charisma, hogged the limelight (especially from all the girls!) with every post, even with a girlfriend already in tow. The sheer audacity of that scum was enough to drive Satoru up the wall. Fine, he had to admit. He was jealous of Sukunaâs popularity and the fact that he snatched a cute booktok girlfriend as his backpack.Â
Suguru, his best friend and fellow biker, didnât let him forget it either. As they stood by their bikes outside Barnes & Noble to spot booktok girls, Suguru glanced at Satoruâs liter bike and smirked.Â
âPretentious motherfucker,â he muttered, slinging a leg over his Yamaha MT-10, the less flashy but undeniably badass naked bike. Unlike Gojou, Suguru didnât care about clout. The MT-10 was all about raw power and agility, the kind of bike a real rider appreciated. âYou only got that thing because itâs a BMW. You gonna actually ride it for real one of these days?â
âShut up.â Satoru rolled his eyes, adjusting his white Alpinestars riding gloves while holding his phone up to go live on TikTok. Starting with a 1000cc as a beginner bike wasnât a very wise choice, but still... âPeople love the S1K, you know that.â
And let me tell you about Satoruâs favorite time of the day (or night). It was whenever he would go live, and the comments would pour in as soon as his stream started. That was when he could lavish in his social media presence the most.
user19463: Bro, when are you gonna show us some actual riding content?
anon875biker: All that thirst trapping. Bet you donât even take that thing out of the garage.Â
harleysRbetter: U punks R ruining the riding community!Â
Gojou grinned at the screen, winking at both his followers and haters. âAlright, boomers, calm down. Iâll post some riding content soon. Donât cry too much before then, yeah?â
r1.skn: Sir, can you do wheelies?Â
Suguru found that comment hilarious, recognizing the username and knowing exactly who it belonged toâSukuna. But Satoruâs competitive nature kicked in instantly while he continued to scroll through the comments. âYeah, I can do wheelies. Ignore Sukuna, guys. Focus on me!â
msbikerluvr: Still looking for a backpack, Gojou? Lmao.
âAbout the backpack⊠you know, Iâm just waiting for the right one. Applications are still openââ He was about to launch into another witty retort when a sound cut through the chatter of his streamâit was a deep, throaty rev that sent a shiver of excitement down his spine. Satoruâs head immediately whipped to the direction of the sound, just in time to see a flash of race blue zipping down the street.
There you were, riding a Yamaha R7, your black Dainese jacket hugging your curves as you leaned into the wind. The way you handled the bike, so smooth and confident, it was as if the motorcycle was an extension of you.Â
âDamn, sheâs hot.â Without a second thought, Satoru ended the live stream abruptly, âGotta go, guys. Someone just stole my heart,â and pocketed his phone.
âDid you seriously justââ Suguru started, but Satoru was already mounting his S1000RR.
âCatch you later, Suguru!â he called, gunning the engine without even looking at his best friend. Soon enough, the 1000cc bike roared to life when he shifted into first gear, and he sped off in pursuit of the blue R7.
He caught sight of you at the next red light, the signal holding you in place just long enough for him to catch up. Thank God there was no sign of a biker boyfriend around when he pulled up alongside you, visor down, adrenaline still kicking him alive. He tried to get your attention by revving his S1K, and you turned your head slightly, barely acknowledging him as you pulled your visor up and revealed the prettiest eyes Gojou had ever seen.Â
Satoru flipped up his visor too, then flashed his most charming grin. âHey there,â he said, trying to keep his voice smooth and casual. Like it was a normal encounter. âYouâre fast. I like that.â
You may have rolled your eyes, but he could tell you were smirking underneath the balaclava as you talked through the Cardo intercom linked to your AGV K1s. âAnd youâre obnoxious. I donât like that.â
Oooh, sheâs spicy. He laughed at the silly thought in his head, unbothered by your dismissal. âCome on, donât be like that. Iâm just trying to get to know the girl who stole my heart in the middle of a live stream.â
âYour heart, huh?â you teased, revving her engine just slightly. âSounds like youâre more interested in whatâs under my jacket.â
âNow thatâs a baseless accusation,â he retorted, leaning in slightly. âI donât do anything on the first night, you know. I usually wait until the second, after a nice dinner. Iâm a gentleman like that.â
His remark made you snort, shaking your head at his boldness. âYouâre a ridiculous guy.â
âBut Iâm also serious,â he added, his voice sincere despite the playful glint in his eyes. âLet me take you out, just dinner. No strings, no funny businessâunless youâre into that kind of thing. I donât mind that, either.â
Your laughter sounded like a sweet melody to his ears. âYouâve got guts, mister. Iâll give you that.â Has anyone told you how hot you looked while leaning into your bike? Damn. Satoru was distracted, checking you out for a moment until you spoke again, âFine. One dinner. But donât think youâre getting into my pants just because you ride a fancy bike.â
âI wouldnât dream of it,â he promised, grinning from ear to ear.
The light turned green, and without another word, you revved your engine and took off with Satoru right on your tail. The chase was on, but this time, it wasnât just about the thrill of the ride.Â
For Satoru Gojou, it was about something far more exhilaratingâwinning the attention of the most intriguing biker girl heâd ever met.Â
And perhaps, the biker boyfriend and backpack girlfriend content heâd been hoping to post on Tiktok may slightly change into a different direction than he expected.Â
