ok so. so. all i ask is that u consider the parallels between the two of them. chiaki is a "hero" and mama is a "villain". chiaki is the sun whilst mama hides in the shadows. they both tried to save kanata but where chiaki succeeded mama wasn't able to.

the thing is, what i think would work w their dynamic is the fact that they're?? thematic opposites?? sort of?? see, mama likes to push and pry and chiaki likes to bottle things up. chiaki sees the best in people and mama sees the worst. chiaki believes there is good in everyone and mama thinks he's irredeemable. and because of all the things i mentioned, mama would make sure chiaki never felt like he had to shoulder all the burdens. chiaki would make sure mama knows he isn't a bad person, he's simply a victim of his circumstances. they would balance each other out. do u see my vision?

the COMPLEMENT eachother. they both encourage the other to be the best they can in their own ways.

another thing i like about them is that since they both lived through the war, there is a special kind of understanding/solidarity that comes w that. chiaki doesn't know A Lot about kanamada's backstory, but he knows enough to care and trust kanata as a comrade–so it stands to reason he'd do the same for mama. it’d also be nice for someone to hear about mama’s life or wtv, since i feel like he might need closure and just talking about what he went thru is a good start (at least imo)…

[Well...Lynsie aka Lynn is just me (it's my real name and nickname, hi there). I self-insert into stuff and she's the go-to I use. There's a Lynn in just about everything. She's always sweet, kind, and a little weird.

Shade is just a living shadow that I made to be a loveable little monster. Prone to attachment and lover of scares. Is far more gentle than they look. Can shift their form to look like anything but their face remains the same. Can be solid or intangible depending on how dark it is or the need of the situation...it can hurt. They feel cold but it's mostly due to them being made of darkness, so there's an absence of heat. Shade loves to cuddle you so they can feel warm without the risk of harm. Being a solid shadow in bright areas creates an unnatural reaction, a Shadow can not have a shadow, and that's why it hurts.

Billy is a good ol' mama's boy looking to make it into the pro-wrestling scene. He's very well trained in fighting and self-defense, as well as performing (modern wrestling is more of a show than a real fight). He traveled to the Uncanny Valley after hearing of the unique inhabitants and figured he'd make a name for himself by testing his limits dealing with "monsters". He ends up falling in love with a Regular Guy instead.

Cassandra aka Cassy was born in Uncanny Valley to a wealthy family. However, her silver eyes were seen as a sign of misfortune. Most of her family neglected her and in some cases were mentally/emotionally abusive. Her grandmother, the head of the family, was the only one to take pity on her...mostly because she's the heiress of the family. She's always positive and runs a flower cart that she pedals around town to bring smiles to those in need. She ends up in a poly relationship with a Realtor.

The vampire coven/family is made up of four members. Vincent's an edgy-looking dude, but that's because he just likes it. He's really more the kind of dude you can bring to your folks and have no worries about. He loves the stuff you can get at Hot Topic. No one would believe he was a vampire when he dresses so stereotypically to the modern vampire punk idea. He does a thing to center himself/signal when things are serious. He'll use both hands to smooth back his hair, getting that classic slick Bela Lugosi Dracula look or something similar to Vergil from Devil May Cry. When he does this, you better stop, his patience is getting thin. Dominic is younger than Vincent and with an inferiority complex so he tends to stay in a demonic form to feel strong. As is, his eyes can be 1 of 3 colors. White: normal. Gold: surprise. Red: rage. His fur is so black that humans can't make out his face till it's too late. While his family/coven gives him all the care and support anyone can ask for, he developed slower than his peers and was bullied for it. Taking the form of a hell beast allowed him to not only feel stronger but brought fear to his former peers, something that gives him great joy. Despite his chosen appearance, Dominic is a gentle and sensitive soul. He shyly stays in his room and listens to music unless needed or something gets his attention. He tends a garden, having a gift for making the most stubborn of plants grow. He's very proud of his moonflowers. Liam, the patriarch. The soft-hearted shield that is a master in the art of wordplay. He can get you under his will with a mere simple utterance. The only one he submits to is his beloved. He's been around for a long time, eldest of the family, the only one who knows his history is his love. In his time, he's gathered a vast fortune, something Vincent has given him the nickname "Smaug" for. But unlike the greedy dragon, Liam is more than happy to share what's his. He loves wordplay, you can tell how much he favors you by the amount he uses on you. The more witty and clever, he really likes you. But if simple and blunt, he cares little for you and wants to get away from you as soon as he can. It's hard to get in his favor if you lost it. He has the personality of Gomez Addams (something that was in the dream a lot). Very loveable, eccentric, charming, and protective of his family. He will welcome you with open arms and let your actions speak for you. You have to really be a huge pile of trash for him to hate you. And lastly, the matriarch, Philomena aka Mena (pronounced mee-nah, like Dracula's Mina). The sword to Liam's shield, all matters are settled by her. A gentle woman. But she is not to be taken lightly when pushed. No one messes with her loved ones. Slightly younger than Liam, she is highly intelligent and skilled in the vast array of powers being a vampire grants. A silly woman, she mothers all that enter her humble home. Expect lots of hugs and positive affirmation. Can often be spotted reading randomly in any room. She will wear makeup and fancy jewelry for only 3 reasons. One, to flirt with Liam. Two, important events. And three, if she's feeling sad and wants to feel better...which usually gets to Liam so it reverts to reason one.

Take a Swatchton RP starter for when I get the guts to ask someone to RP with me:

Cyber City often differentiated the day and night based off the streaks of neon green in the sky, sending Lightners across the internet to their desired sites as well as the amount of neon lights that shined in places like Addison Alley. Things appeared to be slowing down as some city lights began to dim. This left the head butler all the more prepared to fall asleep at the wheel of their all too small car, remaining at a standstill on traffic.

Swatch had to run a last minute errand for the Queen, having to leave the mansion to obtain a few items she requested to assemble some oversized battle robot. They adored the Queen, but they would be lying if they said they didn't get irritated when her eccentricities affected the usual schedule they had. Their shift by now would have consistented closing up shop for the cafe and possibly a bit of downtime with some Swatchlings.

They gave a frustrated sigh with their car having to halt once again when the car infront moved just a few inches. The main thing keeping them from slamming their hands on the horn was the soft music playing over the radio playing holiday music.

After enough time passed for them to listen to three covers of the same song, the vehicles slowly began to move. While it seemed to be at a snails pace, it seemed to at least lack the previous dead stop. They finally relaxed from being completely tensed as they slowly approached the exit they needed to take which now appeared in sight.

Maybe they should enjoy this moment while they had it. They often didn’t have time to leave the mansion, so it was possible they could use this time to relax instead of stress over gettin back to what they considered home. Though, they would much prefer it be on their own accord when people were prepared for the head butler to not be present.

They were drawn from their thoughts abruptly as the car infront of them halted and leaned against their horn. Fortunately, they were both going at a slow pace so stopping didn't take too much time on Swatch'a behalf either. Swatch felt their frustrations fester once again as they tried to see what the car infront of them had stopped for. They sat upright to attempt to see better but only hit their head on the roof of their car. They grumbled to them but stopped when they noticed movement outside of a vehicle. Like an animal running in the streets. That couldn't be safe at all considering the streets around here often could go from remaining still to racing down the highways at a moments notice.

They squinted as something limped out from infront of the car ahead, the car infront slowly inching forward as it moved out of the way.

A sense of dread built up as the features on the traffic halt made themselves clear. Black slicked back hair, black and dirtied white clothes, and the cherry on top of their misery, pink and yellow glasses ripped from their own look in the saddest attempt of identity theft they have ever seen.

Spamton G. Spamton wriggled his way across an active freeway...well...more so limped than anything else.

Why the hell was he trying to cross here? Why was he limping? Was he what cause the traffic? They could keep this game of 20 questions running through their head but they knew they wouldn't be answered as they inched their own car forward. The puppet was too focused gazing back at the car from before, seeming to profusely apologize with the driver seeming to give him a piece of their mind, to notice the other car approaching next to them...right where Spamton was stepping.

They the lane of traffic next to them remained free as it lead onto an exit people didn't need to take at the moment, leaving the car approaching at an alarming rate. Their heart sank at the sight that would lay before them, the tiny salesman not standing a chance. Before Swatch was able to fully process everything, they found themselves scrambling out of their seat belt and car, making their way out into the brisk city air with the engines of cars warming up around them.

"SPAMTON!" Swatch quickly called out, their orange eyes behind their lenses shifting rapidly between colors as a flurry of emotions ran through their head.

Everything seemed to happen in flash. Spamton was quickly lifted from the ground just to find himself falling back once again as wind rushed past them alongside a car which honked loudly as he passed.

He was in the head butler's arms, who had suddenly appeared from one of many cars, raced over to him, pulled him out of nearly becoming roadkill, and fallen back against the car he had just been apologizing too for getting in the way.

The pair seemed equally shocked by the events, though as Spamton taken a minute to gather his surroundings, he looked up the butler who squeezed him close. They stared forward gasping to even out their breath with eyes wide, as though their life had just flashed before them. Spamton had now just realized his own air had caught in his throat and let out a wheezy breath in response.

The owner of the car has stopped their initial yelling to slightly lift themselves out of the window to peer at what had just happened.

"Are you okay?!" They called out, Swatch finally snapping back to reality. They rose to their shaky feet, and looked around to see multiple cars had stopped, most seeming to not fully catch what happened beyond seeing Swatch rapidly exit their car and fall back.

"Y-yes." They answered simply, their tone indicating anything but. They looked around once again to give an anxious half wave to the other vehicles with just as concerned passengers to indicate they were at least alive. Spamton gave no attempt to speak, though did expect Swatch to chuck him across the highway for cauing this mess. At least that would lead him to safety.

But before he knew it, he was being carried back to the car the large bird had emerged from (and had he not narrowly missed being run over, he would have cracked the joke of it not looking too far off from a clown exiting a comically too small car). He was set into the passenger seat after the butler struggled their way back into the car. They sank into their seat, partly to melt from the anxiety of the situation that just occurred, and also to fit into the car. They clicked their seat belt as they stared forward with wide eyes still, their feathers seeming fluffed up as well as partly disheveled from the simple fall against the car.

This was going to be a very long drive.

yuki tetsuya finds joy in all the things you like because it makes you happy. when you guys meet for lunch, he’ll often give you a little bar of kitkat, where the flavor is different every single time because he’s just cool like that. you guys will go on boba dates often after school or after practice or he’ll drop it off on his free time. he will give you a hug at any given time you request because when he hugs you, he feels like he’s protecting you, especially when his large frame is embracing yours. this is especially good when you feel overwhelmed in noisy areas or large crowds. often he’ll pull you aside to hug you to block out the world, where you can focus on just you and him. if you’re feeling anxious, he’ll go to a place secluded so you can breathe and feel better. you already know he’s good with his words and that’s evident when he’s the captain during the first seasons of daiya. he always knows what to say, calming your thoughts and mind, and he would love it if you opened up to him! with this he’s a fantastic listener, and he will literally give anything just to hear you ramble about the things you love. just as you love stars, he loves the stars in your eyes when you just talk about something passionately. he is so observant that the minute he feels that you’re unhappy he’s right in front of you. he always treats you gently because you are just so precious to him. but he will step in if he thinks he has to: for example, if you’re too nice to people taking advantage of you, he’ll wait for a good moment remind you to stand up for yourself. he adores how kind your heart is, but he doesn’t want you to get hurt.

like yuki, he will literally take note on all your likes and will show up with a kitkat everyday, boba, will take you out to dog cafes, star gazing— everything. whatever makes you happy, consider it done. any art projects you give him he treasures in a separate room in his mansion because no gift is better when it’s made from the heart. he will never do anything that will make you uncomfortable, so he settles for low and quiet dates where you two can give each other undivided attention. he might be one of the shortest on the team, but he never fails to give you forehead kisses when he sees you, when you part, and when you’re anxious. he knows you like the back of his hand and will listen to anything and everything you have to say. he loves it when you talk because your voice is his favorite music to his ears. you can’t hide anything from him, really. expect him to encourage you a lot to try your best because he only wants to see you thrive. communication with him is fantastic; mature, straight to the point— no room for toxicity. like yuki, he always knows what to say in any given situations, and he will always make time for you. you matter so much to him.
