Since this is just been a theme lately *sigh I sometimes really do romanticize the idea of Shiho moving and being loved by someone else. Even though again I’m CoAi trash. But sometimes these authors make me believe. But I also secretly think Hakuba would be my favorite if I knew more about the magic Kaito series

Update: I would like the record to show that I am the most annoying person ever. I’m still a firm believer anyone can post whatever on ao3 and tag or not tag however they want. But I’m also gonna complain about it on my blog cause that’s my right. When I refresh the CoAi tag I always get excited when I see a new fic, but I get disappointed when I see that multiple ships are tagged cause again I’m not about that multi shipping life. Especially for him. It’s an instant no for me when I see it. I try to read everything in the CoAi tag but I draw the line at other ships for him and mcd. I refuse. But again I’m glad people are posting cause I will always support writing your own fics. I’m just not going to read them cause that’s not for me. But for those of you who were waiting for that particular fic, by all means, go wild!

Where do I fit into the SW fandom?

I'm pretty solidly a Sequels fan, but I have a special place in my heart for the Prequels. I'm a fic writer who dabbles mostly in canon universe AUs, what ifs, that sort of stuff. Primarily my fics have Rey with a tendency to focus on the First Order characters and plots.

My Top Faves

A classic Reylo fic from an old friend - Beneath the Facade. It technically has a prologue fic before it in the series, but this piece was the one that I really enjoyed way back in the EARLY days of Reylo.

Where do I fit into the SW fandom?

I‘m in my thirties and an OT fan since birth, because my dad was obsessed with Star Wars and we watched it a lot as kids - they are the go to christmas movies in our family. Even as a very small kid I loved Vader. I didn’t like the ST quite as much when it came out in cinemas but still watched them multiple times. I’m much more fond of them now. But my love for Star Wars really got renewed with the ST. I really liked TFA and TLJ a lot. Not a great fan of TROS though, but to each their own. I recently started watching TCW, if you haven’t go watch it! The Mandalorian is also great and feels more like the OT for me, which I love. Oh, and R1 was awesome, I loved that one! Solo also was good. I think I will be a lifelong fan because it’s such a rich universe and everybody can pick a favorite. I’m also good at ignoring the parts I don’t like, lol. But I‘m mostly exhausted about all the drama on social media, so at the moment I take a bit of a break from social media and only post from time to time. And I’m of the firm believe to ship and let ship and if the art and fics are good, you can also find me enjoying ships outside of Reylo (honestly, some Kylux art out there, woah... and Finnrey is always so tender but Stormpilot has two hot guys in it... and don’t get me started about Finnrose! You probably get the gist)

It all started with the prequels which I fell in love with and even wrote my first fan fic on. (I dragged it from fanfic.net to A03 for my own form of personal torture) I dropped out of star wars until I was in Japan and a close group of friends got me to watch Roque One and play a star wars based table top role playing game, which dumped me back into this fandom hardcore. I fell in love with the sequel trilogy and now I'm stuck forever. Lol

I have been writing on A03 for around 2 years now for star wars and it's been the most productive and progressive work I've ever done thanks to ya'll.

Also, hey, I created this multishippers discord, because multishipping rocks and everyone should do it. :P I know I've never active enough but I love this space and the people in it! My fav part about multishipping is how I'm always discovering yet another ship that is awesome. It never ends. ^^

Another fix-it, for Tyrion/Sansa with some fun protective Sandor thrown in for good measure. [Multishipping is a source of joy you guys]

Rough summary: Tyrion gets two invitations, and reconnects with someone he cherishes.

Tyrion had received the news of the state of the world following his capture through broken valyrian, as he wasn't fluent in most tongues beyond the one he was born with though he had tried to serve the Queen as best as he could. He was aware that he had not done what was right all of the time, and if he could go back perhaps he had could have done better. 

He had made his bed so to speak, he would lie in it now and possibly die without ever seeing the ones he loved most. Though they were much fewer now, he still longed to be in the presence of his brother who was much more broken than he was the last time he saw him, Lady Sansa who had taken her place as the Queen in the North like she had been wanting to do for so long. 

He imagined that would share very little words, but he was glad she found happiness where she could. 

When they came for him, he had been prepared to die and so perhaps it was a curse that he continued living in spite of all the misdeeds he had done. He would see to King's Landing, a mockery that he was sure his dear father would have loathed if he still drew breath. Tyrion hadn't wanted this either. He would have much more likely to have to be sent off somewhere else but the council had deemed it necessary. Each region needed someone to look over the people and make sure they were treated right. 

Sansa had made her thoughts known on this clearly. He had no ill will for the people so he would serve them as the city rebuilt once more. The North was returning to its solitude of being independent once more. 

Tyrion felt sadness about this, there was little reason for him to enter Winterfell once more with this in mind but he did not object. This was always Sansa's plan. To look after her own people they needed to exist freely. 

He was surprised when he received the notice of her coronation, and an invitation to join the festivities. 

Bran sat next to him during the coronation, occasionally glancing at him for the reaction he expected. The boy who normally appeared emotionless seemed to have warmed at the inclination of normalcy in his home. "If you're waiting for me to make a scene, you'll be disappointed."

"Never. I'm curious as to what you'll do. There are some who have reservations of Sansa inviting you to this." He answered quietly. 

"I've never had any malice towards her."

Bran produced noise of mirth but didn't reply immediately. He waited until everyone made to move to their tables to tell him. "It's not about that. You're still a Lannister." 

Tyrion sighed. 

"Watch out for Sandor when you go to say hello," Bran warned him as Podrick came up behind Bran to wheel him away, he was going outside for reasons that Tyrion couldn't begin to imagine. He was such an odd boy. 

He was struck by another thought however, he had said Sandor hadn't he? He had nearly forgotten about the Hound who had been thought to have perished with his brother. He had returned to Winterfell then?

It was almost hard to miss the large man as he stood nearest to the Lady of Winterfell. He still looked as mean as ever but there was something else in his eye as he stood watch. 

Tyrion decided it was better to get this over with now. He planned to keep it short.

Approaching Sansa as he was was a spectacle in itself, nevermind the fact that Sandor seemed to train his sight on him the second he could properly see him. He stopped close enough that he wasn't seen as a danger to her. 

"Your Grace, Ser Hound?" He greeted in confusion. 

"Aye," Sandor responded in kind. "Surprised you made the trek, Imp."

Sansa rolled her eyes at her guard. "Sandor. He's fine. I invited him myself."

"One has to wonder what went through your head." 

Sansa laughed. "I'm sure you'd like to know. Give us some room. He doesn't bite."

Sandor shuffled a few paces away, and Tyrion took the moment to stand beside the Lady. 

"You look well, my Lord. Thank you for joining us." She nodded, as he gave her a gentle bow. 

"It would be stupid of me to not mention that you're the reason I'm here at all." Sansa smiled, "You still had to make arrangements to get here Tyrion. It's not all on me though, it pleases me to see you clean."

Tyrion nodded, the last time they had laid eyes on each other he was in shackles and covered in dirt and piss. "You make a beautiful Queen, my lady."

Sansa didn't deign a verbal reply in this. She just gave him a look, soft and familiar. A reminder that there was so much they still needed to work through but this was a good start. 

He imagined this would not be his only visit in the days to come. He had to rebuild this relationship too. 

Before any damage could be done, he decided to take his leave and was surprised to find Ser Brienne waiting for him just outside the doors. "My Lord."

"Good Ser." He nodded. 

She extended a scroll to him, nervously. 

Before opening it he knew what it would say. A note from Jaime, asking if he would extend his journey a bit longer to follow Sansa to Tarth. 

His brother was trying to be coy, but he was a bit out of touch. He was no fool. "This will be my first Knights wedding. How refreshing." Tyrion grinned at Brienne who was flush in embarrassment. 

It wasn't to be for a couple of months from now but the idea made the half-man very elated. His brother was getting his happy end. It was all he could hope for, for the time being.

The ceremony wasn't superfluous at all, a change for the better knowing that the newly wedded couple had made strides to not cause too much of a fuss. It was a rather interesting affair, two knights having fallen in love; one of which was a Lion. A battered one but a Lannister still. Unless he decided to do something unexpected, and it didn't hit him until he was having a stroll against the shores with Sansa after drinking that perhaps this was a new age for the brothers. 

"I don't think this is how I imagined it going at the beginning of this journey." He mused aloud.

Sansa peered down at him. "That your brother would marry someone not your sister or that you would end up here with me, again."

"Where is here exactly?" He ignored the first question knowing that was just a jibe.

"A new beginning on the shores of Tarth." She quipped, innocently.

"I could have sworn I had returned into your good graces long before today." He drew in a breath.

"Watch it." The Hound wasn't too far behind, the ever vigilant guard to his Queen. 

Sansa let out a laugh. "He isn't wrong though, Sandor. I haven't been upset with him in some time. However, this feels nice to be able to joke and not be afraid for once in my life."

He felt that too. "It is. Pray it should continue for however long you wish it."

Sansa was content to extend her hand to his. This was good.

WHAT’S YOUR OTP FOR YOUR MUSE?:  If we’re going with the canon otp that I deserve, it would be Clary and Jon. Like I can talk about them all day. And the exact type of greek tragedy that should have been built around them but that’s basically what my blog is. What should/could have beens.  But if I’m being honest, I have a deep deep deep deep love for Jon and Isabelle. There’s just such a great potential there too for a wreck it all for love type of story that I am always fond of.  So really at the end of the day, my go to is either of those. I’d say Jon and Sera but they’re in such a world of their own that I’m glad canon can’t touch them. 

HOW LARGE DOES THE AGE GAP HAVE TO BE TO MAKE IT UNCOMFORTABLE?:  Personally I think, maybe more than thirty is my limit eventhough generally, it’s not that big of an issue for me. But again, Jon isn’t really a normal boy or character. And his limit when it comes to sexual attraction is almost bar to none. Like, he’s been into timeless/ageless/centuries old women so I think, anything goes so long as they’re all above legal age I think. 

ARE YOU SELECTIVE WHEN SHIPPING?: I think with non-canon ships? Yes. I’d prefer things to be plotted out than just jump right into it. And I’m very selective with like one specific ship: Alec/Sebastian. I don’t really know why for this one particular. I guess I’ve been spoiled by some great Alec partners for this. The rest I don’t have much issue with cos if you ship it? let’s do it. Cos I am genuinely surprised whenever anyone wants to ship with my Sebastian. 

HOW FAR DO STEAMY MOMENTS HAVE TO GO BEFORE THEY’RE CONSIDERED NSFW?: I Hm, I think if anyone is naked even in text could be considered nsfw i guess? I’m very liberal with tagging nsfw things because I’m never quite sure when they are. 

WHO ARE OTHER MUSES YOU SHIP YOUR MUSE WITH?:  I’m gonna go with canon ships and that’s probably the Seelie Queen / Jon. They were interesting while they lasted and I always enjoy a good powerful female figure ready to stab this shitty boy in the back. 

ANY NOTPS?: I think generally Jace/Jon fall under this regard. Just purely in the sense that it takes someone very special, aka @inthequiver for me to be comfortable with them beyond the dynamic of like fucked up and one sided. Like I loooove looove loovee the concept of TEAM EVIL and all Jace/Clary/Jon shenanigans but as a sort of general rule, its Jace and Jon that I have a hard time finding the perfect chemistry/balance of shipping it in any context beyond ‘i hate you but i’d fuck you’ if that makes sense. Like it’s just such a complicated relationship that I’m not always like, let’s ship these two. 

DOES ONE HAVE TO ASK TO SHIP WITH YOU?: Honestly, I do prefer it. Mostly cause while I do ship certain things, e.g. Clary and Jon, I don’t automatically presume everyone is comfortable with it. So I’m perfectly fine with it being unrequited or platonic on either side. Cause I do enjoy their dynamic no matter what. 

HOW OFTEN DO YOU LIKE TO SHIP?:  I think I’m very game for it whenever there’s anyone that catches Jon’s interest. So I guess chemistry is the big thing here.

WHAT IS YOUR OTP FOR YOUR CHARACTER?:

I have like a few in terms of Romantic. My Caius, branching into canon and uncanon:

-  Caius and Yeul: Not romantically, familial PLATONIC - my boy is not a map, do not confuse this shit as romantic. I enjoy this ship because there will only be a few times you get to see Caius be gentle. Understanding and protective of Yeul. Sadly I don't have a Yeul to do longterm plotting on what could be so I don't sadly get to flesh out what could be with the characters. So the ship has ended but still a fave.

- Caius and Moana: Another familial platonic. Another huge ship I've had on my blog for like a year or two, it’s not hugely advertised but something you’ll see on my blog. Now I and the mun have already talked about the prospects of this ship and how amazing it will be. Caius being like a secondary dad, who trains and prepares Moana seemingly boring things, but pays off in the end.  Watching as she grows up, maturing into a woman and later into a chief. It’s like watching your garden just grow into a fabulous array of colours of vivid beauty, swirling into a radiant cosmos beyond the blackness betwixt stars. Im, sure there will be fluff and a lot of angst into this though. But I think Caius would be proud but at the same time at peace seeing her grow up. Though it's amusing she hit him with a paddle though lol. But still the mun/ muse are a complete gourmet coffee ( equivalent to cinnamon); made from the finest ingredients, warmed to delightful temperature and quite welcomed at any time of the day. To this ii’ll add @blessedbycrystal and @indrikis as well @oceanschiild

- Caius and Fujin:  Ah yes the potato and eggplant curry. I and the mun have completely made so many routes, alternatives and main that we wish to explore. Even work extensively on the development of the characters, marking down all fluff and angst, anything between. We plotted heavily made headcanons on our ships that we’ve now plotted and every now and then would publish lol ( i know it's my turn to make something lol). The soulmate AU is probably the longest au we’ve had for like 3 -4 years now? and then we’ve decided to release a Pacific Rim AU we’ve cooked up. Another amusing factor is that none of the characters did like another - at all by any means when we started it. It was just insane indifferent between the other like, whatever let's keep this moving, don't know don't care - how they're pretty invested in another now is quite amusing. So much how its funny how to stoic people interact with another is quite interesting. @fujxn

- Caiu and Alex:  We’ve sunk so much time into this ship. Despite the opposite personalities they’ve become a long way actually until now and made a lot of progress. So far its been under the opposites attract rule so far quite a lot of silliness involved lol but it works well with what is given with the ship. A lof cat beats person up, and also dealing with Alex’s episode of insomnia as well! You’ll probably find a lot of cooking to be more involved with this ship than any other ones I feel since you may end up seeing them owning a cooking store. @blessedfate

- Caius and Kuvira:  PROBABLY A BAD SHIP XD not bad as in bad - but Kuvira is just so salty and unyielding. Though the hate is subtly dying down thus far but Kuvira still - well going to be kuvira. The ship is a slow burner but I and the mun have talked extensively about the ship. Though kuvira still does throw rocks at him - and to this day still tries her best to man-handle him despite him literally towering over her all the time. The crack episode between the two is great and you can tell that despite some of the vitriol - there is some fun. All the hate is just one sided on Kuvira’s side and Caius either doesn't care or doesn't know, which might explain is indifferent. Thought I think this may be why its just hard to make him into an enemy when he doesn't see you worth holding a grudge on really. When it comes between who is the queen of pettiness; between all my ships I think I’ll crown Kuvira for this one lol. @thegreatunxter

WHAT ARE YOU WILLING TO WRITE WHEN IT COMES TO SHIPPING?

Anything. Relationships aren’t static, people’s lives have dynamic changes and events that influence their behaviour on a regular basis. I am a huge fan of exploring the development of the bond they have. Come at me with domestic events, angst, supporting each other through trouble, courting, you name it.

I’m open to anything. Relations are especially hard to get, familial takes time to build up to but I suggest long as the ship is dynamic than it’ll work just fine - coupled with chemistry on both sides. I am quite open to exploration of any angle, angst, fluff and anything in between.

HOW LARGE DOES THE AGE GAP HAVE TO BE TO MAKE IT UNCOMFORTABLE?

Strongly prefer in the 20′s + I know 18 is like you’re a legal status, however, my muse is immortal. Your muse practically will be dating an ancient relict from the past, or some old bottled wine that’s aged wonderfully. 

ARE YOU SELECTIVE WHEN SHIPPING?

Yes with romantic, no isues with platonic. Let this be hewn into your minds.  Caius isn't mean for everyone. There is a lot of issues involving Caius that I've heard and aware - he’s slow to open up, he's cold, he doesn't act like he likes this person, he acts heartless and many more. It’s a list really and probably won't express this. If you are coming with these expectations of my muse, he is not for you. If you want something fast and simple relationship between the two - he’s just not for you in that matter. He’s a man that’s been through a lot and probably very slow of just opening up to people.

HOW FAR DO STEAMY MOMENTS HAVE TO GO BEFORE THEY ARE CONSIDERED NSFW?

Moment clothes come off or when touching goes elsewhere. However, if its kept fade to black then that is fine.

I don't really have many romantics for Caius like that anymore but I guess; Caius/ Light ( my interest in Cairai is meh after 5 years) Caius/ Fang (not as bad as Cairai but its okay).

Not as much as you would think really, I usually do some looking into before I seal the deal. That and im not so hyperactive due to work so - im just a ghost somewhat lol.

Depends really, if something is convincing and has me enjoying it’s possible I could become ship obsessed.  But now these days Nah not so much, maybe I was more prone to like a few years back now.

Could we have a list of your OTPs and regular ships for any and all fandoms that you can think of off the top of your head?

/o\ :D Oh, man. PLEASE GET COMFORTABLE, ANON. This could take a while ... and in fact, let me summarize my typical feelings about most of the canons I encounter first, and then put the actual list behind a cut.

Thing 1: I rarely ship canon ships particularly hard. Sometimes I like them, sometimes I don’t; sometimes I’m watching solely for them, but the canon is already about telling their story, so I don’t feel any particular need to tell my own stories about them. (As you may have noticed, I like to play around with all the possible ways that, given a canonical starting point, people could get their shit together and make out. If the canon’s already about that, then my urge to see it happen is satisfied, and I don’t write anything.) Thing 2, which is also sort of Thing 1B: I don’t have many m/f ships, and when I do, they’re Diana/Alfred. :D (Which is to say that they’re pretty much always rarepairs/somewhere canon isn’t going to go or isn’t even interested in hinting at, but there’s some kind of dynamic or potential dynamic I really like anyway.) Thing 3: Beyond that, pretty much anything goes. :D I’m here for sweet, I’m here for screwed up, I’m here for both at the same time.

So, yeah. Sticking to the things I have the shippiest feelings about (because listing every ship I’m regular-strength interested in for, like, Dragon Age would just ... we’d be here all day /o\), there’s a category of canons with ensembles where I ship multiple things:

Babylon 5 (and offshoots thereof): Susan Ivanova/Talia Winters, Marcus Cole/Stephen Franklin, David Martell/Dulann

Dark Matter (TV): Nyx/Two, One/Three, Six/Three

Detroit: Become Human: Connor/Hank, Markus/Simon, and then Kara/North mostly because of the way it works in my head :D (I do also like Connor/Markus, and Markus/North, and also North/Josh and North/Simon because of the way they’d work in my head; but I’m a sucker for buddy cops and weak for age gaps, so *hands*)

Justified: This is just a big old pile, because I like Boyd/Raylan, but also Raylan/Tim, but also Rachel/Tim (... and for that matter Rachel/Raylan, now that I think about it, which maybe means what I really want is a drawling sassy Marshal orgy, oops), and ... everyone on that show was so attractive and messed up, basically :D

Krypton: Adam/Seg-El, and then also Lyta-Zod/Nyssa-Vex, again because of the way it works in my head :D

Mass Effect: Andromeda: Liam/Jaal, Peebee/Suvi, and just about anybody/Reyes (IDENTITY PORN :D)

Sense8: ... Just everybody/everybody, it’s all canon, there’s no list here!

Sinbad (TV): Sinbad/Gunnar, and then I multiship various combinations of Rina/Nala, Rina/Anwar, Rina/Tiger, and even hypothetically Nala/Tiger

Star Trek: I don’t dislike any canonical relationship I can think of in any Star Trek, but I’m an old-school Kirk/Spock kind of person, and my second-favorite DS9 ship after Bashir/Garak has got to be Jadzia/Kira

Stargate: Atlantis: John/Rodney, Elizabeth/Teyla, and I actually did like Ronon/Keller a fair amount, but I also wish that scene of Alicia Vega hitting on Keller hadn’t been cut because it was so wonderful and I’d have shipped that in a heartbeat *_______*

And then there’s a category of canons centered around a single relationship between people I think should bang, and that’s the main draw for me:

Almost Human: John/Dorian

Battle Creek: Milt/Russ

Common Law: Travis/Wes

due South: Fraser/Ray K

The Exorcist: Marcus/Tomas (I like Peter! I do! But I just don’t have as many feelings about him, and also, well, canon ship. *hands*)

Maleficent: Aurora/Maleficent

Professionals: Bodie/Doyle

Snow White and the Huntsman: Ravenna/Snow White (... I maybe have a thing about evil/dark queens and the Too Good, Too Pure princesses they’re obsessed with)

Whitechapel: Chandler/Kent

Wild Wild West: Artie/Jim

Xena: Xena/Gabrielle

And then I’m sure there’s more I’m forgetting. /o\ But that’s probably more than you even wanted to know, anon! SORRY.

Anyway, the point is that I ship a lot of things, and also I’m pretty flexible, and also I’m here for relationships that are complicated for various reasons. So if there’s any particular ship you want to know my thoughts on, I promise to answer thoughtfully and honestly; I don’t do ship wars and there are very few ships I can’t talk myself into liking if I have five minutes to consider how I’d write it. ;D

My Theon Centric Pairings: A Game of Multishipping

So I keep getting tagged to list my 10 ships from 10 different fandoms or 5 OTPs from 5 different fandoms. But the problem is I don’t really have any hardcore ships in any other fandoms- So, I made this instead. A detailed explanation no one asked for of all my Theon ships. (I may be Multishipping trash- but at least i’ll always have my OTC, Theon Greyjoy)

My Joint OTP (yeah I said it): Throbb and Theonsa

Well you guys know that I have totally gone down the rabbit hole of Theon ships BUT- I have developed an OTP (or TTP- Two True Pairings) and that is Throbb and Theonsa. Shipping BOTH Throbb and Theonsa seems to make an incredible amount of sense to me- because Robb, so tragically, IS dead… (cries forever) and I see Theonsa as a natural progression from Throbb. Both Sansa and Theon loved Robb and idealized him in a way. However, when it comes down to it, I think Sansa and Theon have much more in common with each other. And so I think the Theonsa ship is beautiful because in loving each other they can learn to forgive things about themselves since they are so similar and have been in such similar situations.

Throbb (Most Tragic Ship/ also my “across time and space they will always find each other” Ship)

This one hurts the most because of the death and betrayal the guilt and the tragedy of it all. But it remains one of the most beautiful ships of all time in my humble opinion. I also feel like there is often echos of Throbb in all the other Theon ships I am into.

Theonsa (The Most Hopeful Ship)

This ship is so pure and beautiful and I hope that they end up together. I really do. They are my endgame ship. This is also the ship that first brought me to Tumblr. Theonsa trash 5ever (as the kids say)

Theyne (Sweetest Ship of All Time)

So yes this is the purest sweetest ship of perhaps all time. I love Theyne. The reason I love Jeyne so much with Theon is because she is the only one in the books or show who sees him as Theon- not as Reek or a Turncoat. Not someone to distrust or fear or be disgusted by. Just Theon- that handsome boy she used to watch in the practice yard. It is her complete genuine acceptance of him that I believe helps him reclaim his true identify

My “We Could Have Had it ALLLLLLLLL” Ship: 

Greythorn

I’ve always thought that Theon and Margaery could TEAR IT UP as a couple. I don’t think she would have wanted to marry him because of her ambition but they could have been amazing lovers- or just BUDS. They both are called out for smirking and smiling- they could have shared the slyest of smiles you guys! She could have soothed his self doubt and he’d have definitely benefited from her strategic mind. And it would have been interesting to see her in a non-politically motivated relationship. I mean seriously, if you don’t want to see the king and queen of sass take over Westeros then I just have to ask, what is wrong with you??  Even Alfie agrees

My “I will go down with this ship” Ship:

Theolyn (of course)

Well, if you follow me you know that every Thursday I talk about how much I LOVE this ship. It is total crack and I admit it- but Catelyn and Theon have a lot of parallels and I just LOVE the idea of Catelyn, who has always done her duty, having this torrid love affair with gallant slut pirate, Theon Greyjoy. It’s just such an interesting dynamic to explore- and I just love the older woman/ younger man thing. Plus Theon has a thing for MILFs in book canon. Wasn’t the first woman he slept with married with a child? And the miller’s wife… And he was even more attracted to Asha (pretending to be Esgred) when she lied and said she was with child. Mothers just turn him on. It is known.  

My “I Wish I Could Quit You” Ship:

Oh man, this would be such an intense and passionate love/hate kind of ship. The characters have so many parallels and similarities. Both outcasts, both known as “turncloaks” in the book. Both have heavy resurrection themes in their storyline- but they are also complete opposites in many ways- which would make this an incredibly dynamic ship. I just hope Greysnow gets more love after their big confrontation in Season 7 (and I hope the scene evolves Brokeback style with punches being thrown and wrestling because they just can’t DEAL with the love they feel for each other, and then all of a sudden they are making out…. Well, a girl can dream anyway, right?)

My Two True BroTPs: 

Thasha/ Theyara 

Seriously, I would watch an entire series of just these two! They have such an incredible bond- especially after not having the opportunity to grow up together and having such an messed up reunion (largely due to Yara/Asha let’s be honest.) Being with Yara is the only thing that made Theon punking out on The Dream Team okay for me lol. And when people say that Yara is going to die in the show or Asha in the books- that is NOT OKAY people- because I need these two together forever as power siblings. I need it for my SOUL.

Thyrion

Okay so who doesn’t want to watch these two get drunk and talk about their appalling childhoods? Seriously Tyrion and Theon have so much in common. Before everything went down, they could have been drinking and brothel buddies. Now after everything they have gone through, I think they could be incredibly close allies and friends. I think they could help each other in so many ways. I know that their interactions with each other hasn’t gone very well up to this point, BUT! Has anyone noticed that Tyrion is the only character who acknowledges how fucked up Theon’s situation with the Starks was? And he also acknowledges how that must have effected him growing up. I think there is much more understanding to be found in this  relationship and I will never give up hope for this BroTP becoming a reality. 

My Dream Team:

Brienne, Pod, Sansa, and Theon

Like, do I even need to say anything about this guys? I was SO PUMPED when Brienne + Pod ex machina rode in to save the day- and for a brief, BRIEF moment of time (curse you D&D, curse you!) we had this incredible dream team. They are the dream team that got away you guys… *cries

Okay, I am only half serious about this but oh, I can’t even with these three- there are so many parallels within their stories, they all have such chemistry with each other, they are the embodiment of Tyrion’s “cripples, bastards, and broken things.” And seven hells, the HUGS! THE HUGS!! Is there any trio of characters who can give better hugs? The answer is no. No one gives better hugs than these three. Come for the dragons, Stay for the hugs (and GreyStoneSnow) ;)

*I don’t think I can rightfully call this one of my ships since it makes me feel like curling up into a catatonic ball in the corner of my room and never coming out. I really don’t want them together AT ALL- BUT… it is still an incredibly fascinating ship because thinking about it reveals a lot about both Theon and Ramsay… And this incredibly toxic, intensely disturbing, stockholm syndrome ship has also inspired some really illuminating and psychological Theon meta and fanfic. Reformed by DoubleBit is a really brilliant modern AU fic about the psychology of their relationship (which bonus, also has Throbb and Greysnow it in!) So even though I do not technically ship them- I do find it very interesting to think about.

“Swamp Trash and Squid Boy”  (Theera || Theon x Meera Reed)

This ship is entirely blamed on the beautiful RPs of @ladyoftheneck and @slysmiles / @drownedandflayed-archived-deact Check out some of their lines- they are adorable together, trust me. 

Thegritte (Theon x Ygritte) 

And this ship is blamed on the lovely RPs of @theredheadwildling-deactivated2 and @slysmiles / @drownedandflayed-archived-deact and also on this great fanfic, Iron and Flint by VagrantWriter Ygritte and Theon actually share a lot of cultural similarities and they challenge each other in very interesting ways.

Last but definitely not least, I give you Thod. Again, this ship is blamed on someone- @lordhellebore for her beautiful fic, Don’t do so well alone. I’m not sure if Thod is necessarily her intention- the fic seems to be more about the beautiful beautiful friendship developing between The Dream Team and a wonderful psychological portrayal of Theon’s struggle and journey from Reek to Theon (which of course didn’t end when he saved Sansa.) But the fic does depict Pod caring for Theon and even singing to him at one point. My heart! And when you think about it- Theon is Pod’s Knight in tattered rags shining armor. And could you IMAGINE- this ship, Pod and post Reek Theon. It would be so PURE

what did you think of the tvd final? it felt rushed to me and i'm even more upset now ive seen all the interviews with kevin saying it was always meant to be stelena and it feels like a slap in the face that they gave us delena but only by default and the delena we got was so lacking everything i loved about them what did you think?

it’s taken me two days to process everything i felt about that finale and i’m still not fully there yet but i’m gonna try to put my feelings down and then move on

firstly, i had a lot of fun watching it with everyone (specifically @lowsodiumfreaks bc it was hilarious) and i am really glad i got to experience this fandom one last time in all its crazy glory

(i’m tagging @insightfuldamon too bc i like yelling my feelings at jackie bc she understands and i love her for it)

immediately after the finale i was content, i was crying, i was thankful for the show and its characters, i was generally A Mess but i was happy about it

yesterday, once i’d had some sleep and a chance to properly look at the finale by watching it again without the fear of my faves dying i was…less happy with it

i’m gonna start by saying what i loved and still love;

BONNIE BENNETT BEING THE ULTIMATE HERO WE ALL KNOW SHE’S BEEN FROM THE BEGINNING

the bennett witches being fucking amazing

that steroline phonecall bc as someone who never really shipped steroline that was the first time i truly felt it and i was so upset on behalf of caroline and stefan that they didn’t even get a day of marriage before death did them part

caroline/alaric and their girls, the whole convo where alaric mentioned liz and caroline got it and chose her girls over stefan bc she knew it was the right thing to do regardless of her love for him she’ll always put her girls first AND GUYS THAT WAS SO AWESOME BC ONE OF CAROLINE’S MAIN CHARACTER POINTS WAS GETTING THE GUY AND SHE LET THE GUY GO IN THE END !!!!!

BONLENA REUNION!! both times were glorious

all the defan. all of it. amazing. the whole scene where they were trying to sacrifice themselves for each other and i didn’t want either of them to die but then damon chose to save stefan and compelled him away AND I WAS SOBBING SO HARD AND SCREAMING AT CHAR but i’d also accepted it and was so proud of damon bc it was such a great moment in his journey

and then the plot twist with stefan tricking damon and turning him human and then sacrificing himself instead AND I WAS EVEN MORE OF A MESS BC I DIDN’T WANT IT AND HISTORICALLY I HAVE HATED STEFAN BUT I DIDN’T WANT HIM TO DIE but it was beautiful that he went out saving everyone

the whole stelena goodbye was a nice nod to their relationship even though i never liked it i adored their goodbye scene

STEFAN AND LEXI AND I WAS FEELING EPIC

the little daroline scene was cute

caroline seeing elena again!! all the girl feels when they were sat on the bench

i did like all the after death reunion scenes and the nods to past characters even if it felt a little too ‘wrap it neatly in a ribbon/all the fuzzy feels/overdone’

all the donovan family feelings were beautiful

now on to the things i didn’t like;

the delena scenes were flat as hell, felt forced, disjointed and just generally Bad

we got no conversation, no last ‘i love you’, no hint of a flashforward into those supposed ‘happy, human lives’

don’t get me wrong i’m content with the endgame and my 12 year old self now feels supremely justified in all her decision makings but it was so U G H purely bc it wasn’t anything

we got the endgame in name only and i didn’t feel it

i have a suspicion most of it was to do with the very obvious bad feeling between ian and nina, though i have to give credit bc i 100% felt everything delena from nina’s side it was ian doing a terrible job which was seriously jarring after how amazing his acting was in the scene with paul when defan were debating who was gonna die

the kiss was awkward, the handholding was awkward, the looks were awkward, EVERYTHING WAS AWKWARD THEY WERE LITERALLY ON SCREEN FOR A MINUTE AND IAN COULDN’T ADULT ENOUGH TO GET THROUGH IT GOOD LORD

but whatever i’m done, it’s over, bye

/side note; the interviews afterwards mean shit to me tbh bc the writers knew that nina was leaving at the beginning of season 6 so if they had ever truly intended stelena to be endgame they had plenty of time to write it and it’s obvious they’re just throwing every fandom a bone bc delena get to claim the endgame but the interviews suggest stelena get to feel justified in thinking stelena was always meant to be

blaming nina leaving is an utterly shitty thing to do so they can fuck off with that nonsense

the bottom line is they wrote the show, they decided the relationship endgames, they CHOSE THE CHARACTER ENDGAMES

their writing is on them and they need to own their decisions and stop trying to appease everyone or shift blame to one fucking actress like she didn’t dedicate her whole damn sanity to the shit they put her through

like the fact she even came back…they didn’t deserve her that’s all i’m gonna say but then they haven’t been deserving kat graham since she arrived so…fuck them basically

/end side note

i was disappointed that there was no dalaric other than the casual mention, there was no denzo, there was no last bamon scene which was utter bullshit considering they are supposed to be best friends though i loved damon mentioning his utter faith in bonnie and i also loved how as soon as bonnie found out damon was off to sacrifice himself she was like ‘nope i’m gonna save their asses’ once again

i’m waiting for a character to embody the title of ‘Queen’ more than bonnie bennett

like we literally got a daroline scene but no bamon scene…what. the. frick?

i don’t care for katherine or datherine or steferine so all of that was a complete waste of time for me and the fact that katherine got more than elena in terms of screen time makes me all types of bitter but once again nina owned what she was given so kudos

i’m happy bonnie’s endgame was her getting the fuck out of mystic falls and i realize that their intention with that was to portray her as strong and moving on whilst still having enzo there whenever she needs him but i also can’t ignore the inherent wrongness of the black girl who has sacrificed literally everything of herself being the one who gets the ‘on her own/off to explore the world’ storyline whilst elena gets her happily ever after with damon and caroline gets her family and the future tease of klaus (also fucking africa?? s e r i o u s l y ? ?) whilst bonnie is supposed to be content with a semi love life she can’t really have until she’s dead ! ! ! n o p e 

(like bonnie is literally the only one who ends up alone after she saved every single other character multiple times I’M SO FUCKING ANGRY THAT HER ENDGAME IS COMPLETELY SEPARATE OF EVERYONE ELSE’S LIKE ‘THANKS FOR ENSURING WE LIVED LONG ENOUGH TO GET OUR HAPPILY EVER AFTERS BUT WE’RE FINE NOW BYE’ what the fuck honestly)

but i’m white so i can’t really speak to that racist nonsense and there are hundreds of people in this fandom way more qualified to speak on that than me so i won’t say anymore on it

and then the whole ‘oh we thought maybe matt and bonnie could eventually get together but we left that up to the audience’ bullshit just bc matt’s the only guy left *barf noises*

i love matt but come on (also there wasn’t enough matt for me either)

i never really liked bonenzo but i can deal with it even though it should have been bamon until bonnie died and then i’d have been fine with delena after that bc i am of the opinion that u can have more than one epic love and to me damon was in love with both bonnie and elena and we were robbed but again w/e my multishipping ass will just have to be content with fanfiction

i hate that tyler got nothing but a tiny scene smiling at matt and holding hands with vicki bc they did that character so dirty after giving him such a fantastic journey in the early seasons

listen highkey we should’ve gotten forwood but then klaroline butted in with all its nonsense and tyler lockwood was sacrificed on the alter of shipper bullshit

I HATE THAT WE GOT NO JERLENA REUNION AND IT WASN’T EVEN HINTED AT IN THE WHOLE ‘ELENA DIED THEN REUNITED WITH HER FAMILY’ SCENE

like superficially this finale was good as far as finale’s go, i’ve had to deal with a lot worse, but when u pick it apart and get past the glossy happily ever after sheen it’s kinda false to a lot of the relationships and characters

basically i have a lot of mixed feelings on it but i personally got enough that i can now move on without feeling entirely like i wasted 8 years of my life on the show and 12 years on these characters and relationships tho lbr they never really followed the books anyway

the thing i’m most thankful for about this show is the people i’ve met online through it and if the most i can take away from this experience is the friendships i’ve made with other fans then it’s been worth it

i know some of u won’t agree with everything i’ve said, some might not agree with any of it, but i appreciate u reading it anyway and i hope the finale meant enough to u that u can still be glad u fell into the hellhole that was tvd
