god i want to pick brennan's brain about the details of sol and helio's followers with regards to each other so bad.

bobby dawn clearly accepts helio's followers as being part of the fold- buddy's a cleric of helio, and bobby has pushed for kristen to come back as helio's chosen one. (for the sake of brevity, i'm gonna be using helioic and solian- if we have canonical alternatives like helian or solic, i'm blanking on them)

how does one choose, then, which group to be in? because they are still distinct divinities. my first instinct was that it's a generational thing, since bobby's the only person of that generation we've met and everyone of later generations has been helioic, but then there are the biscottos on leviathan.

and since the sample size is so small, we can't draw any conclusions there.

was there any kerfuffle when buddy chose helio? or if whichever parent is bobby's child and they're helioc, when they did?

there is inherent acceptance of some amount of polytheism in both religions. and i know it's getting into the cognitive distortions required to have that evangelical belief system, but that's such a glaring one, it's gotta break a lot of shelves, right?

were the harvestmen just helioic, or were there solians there as well? (was dayne blayde helioc or solian, for example) if not, is there an official solian stance on them? or do they just pretend they never existed? (which seems impossible to reasonably do, but not seeing things they don't want to is their forte)

i get writing galicaea and especially cassandra off as prodigal daughters, but there IS a kinder world where they're accepted as part of the divine family as well. and it seems possible, with bucky's interest in kristen's cassandra shards.

but is reform, like tracker is doing with galicaea, even possible? "wait for the older generations to die" isn't exactly a viable religious reform plan, but with how both helioicism and solism are, let's call a spade a spade, cults, is there any other option? how would that look or work, when questions will get immediately and harshly shut down, like we saw with bucky, or outright excommunicated?

i have even more thoughts and questions but this is already extremely long. so i'm gonna leave it there, but it's all i'm thinking about this morning.

Barometz

A mad scientist who is fond of solar power. He takes part in several relating researches, including the illegal ones, as long as it makes him feel closer to the sun. Once he gets in the research, he will be obsessed and won't get anything be in the way, even if having to use extreme solutions.

In the past, he took part in the Hoenn cult [Solism] that exploited the power of Primal Groundon. When the cult got destroyed, he fled to Paldea and somehow took part in Area Zero project, in which also has a sunlight-calling dragon.

Knowing that Naranja Academy is planning to raid Area Zero, and their leader - new academy principal is also his former employer - the cult leader Valadares, Barometz provides the information to his current employer Lazuli, so she could blackmail him and secure their project.

Among the people that accidentally got caught in the Phantom Rest Stop incident, surprisingly there is Barometz's ex-wife Edda, who divorced with him not so long after a contract marriage. The man thinks it won't be a problem if his ex is protected inside Area Zero timeloop, but turned out that they had a daughter, who is alone out there waiting for the mother's return. Barometz never knew about this offspring because he cut off all the connection with acquaintances after joining Solism. Edda was not in love with him in the first place, but was annoyed because she couldn't find him to ask for child support.

After Area Zero incident is over, Barometz was arrested by polices. Apparently he was moved to Blueberry academy's prison to continue the research about Stellar Energy

Un dossier thématique sur la mobilité urbaine est proposé par le journal des échos en date du 7 octobre. 3 sujets sont abordés (liens en bas du post) pour présenter un état des lieux et des tendances dans le domaine de la mobilité urbaine. Le premier concerne le MaaS et l’impact de ces projets sur l’accélération de la mobilité urbaine multimodale, en offrant une offre de mobilité plus fournie et diversifiée. Le second article porte le partage de la voiture individuelle et ses effets sur la réduction de l’auto-solisme. L’autopartage et le covoiturage du quotidien ont pleinement leur rôle à jouer dans une politique MaaS. Enfin, le troisième article s’intéresse au défi majeur auquel sont confrontées les agglomérations (et on le vérifie tous les jours !) : l’organisation et l’aménagement de l’espace public entre toutes les offres de mobilité. Quelle place pour les vélos, les trottinettes électriques ? Comment réduire l’accès de la ville aux voitures en optimisant le système de mobilité ? Comment concevoir les espaces d’échanges intermodaux ? Les réponses sont sans doute à adapter à chaque territoire, mais se poser la question dans tous les territoires est déjà une grande avancée !

Valadares

Principal of interlevel academy Naranja. An educationalist and part of Dragon Council ruling Paldea thanks to Dragon Tera. 

Has just moved here and received the position recently, but already well-respected. Though he seems to have a shady past..

Despite being a teacher and has Dragon Tera, he is frightened with Dragon Gods and young boys. Yet he was ordered to solve the problem about a young student who is travelling with a dragon.

Mr. Principal is not pleasant at all. But oh well..

Truth is that, he used to be a priest in Solism Cult governing Hoenn and exploited Primal Groudon's power. Aka Villain. At the end of Hoenn arc, it was destroyed by Rayquaza (called by Plotemy). Lord Ray allowed Valadares to run, but imposed a bound onto him.

The bound gave him inner Dragon, but made him unable to do bad deeds. Relationships helped him to get a seat in Paldea, yet Valadares' heart is still wicked. So under that dignity is the frustration of being forced to be nice. That's why he hates dragons and little boys
