Caroulse

The patron god of Pld and the ancient Winged King.

Said to be a cyclizar that journeyed to the deepest spot of Pld's Great Crater and met the World Energy entity in a time rift, bestowed the mutation power. The gods gave her the new name Koraidon

With said entity's help, she also created a bunch of mutated assistants to help governing ancient Pld, called The Paradox Council.

As a king, Caroulse is always confident with a dominating aura of the apex predator. She not only has sheer physical power, but also a wise and collected mind. Her ruling treasures protecting Pld's territory the most. She accepted the feared Ruinous, watched over the land of exiled Kitakami, and managed to maintain a neutral relationship with the hostile land neighbor Glr for a long time.

Due to a rather masculine behavior and genderless body, her gender is often ambiguous among residents and in history records. There is also a folklore about "The dragon that leaps through sky", referring to her high jumping with spread wings.

Caroulse had a little brother who lost his life in the Great Crater. The World Energy entity (Trpg) took over his appearance to appear in front of her.

Ancient time, when the curse [Nebula Syndrome] befell the world, Trpg also got confront by the curse's physical appearance and got defeated.

Caroulse, under the curse and hearing nothing from Trpg, went into hallucination and wanted to find her lost brother. She ordered her subordinates to seal away Ruinous and wandered through the time rift in the Great Crater again.

After a long time drifting, she eventually arrived to Paldea 2000 years later....

Tylenol

The nurse at mountain school [Lumina class], appointed by Paldea medical minister.

Though looking like a young boy, his real age is unknown because the male species of his tribe all looks like this. Always gentle with a soothing voice, he does first-aid for the children and takes care of the class' hygiene condition.

Prior to that, he was an underling under the "big sissy" medical minister. Unlike the peers who worships the queen as in a harem, Tylenol's admiration is "wanting to be the same". That's why his behavior is rather feminine, and he's often upset that the male can't evolve.

A smart and hard worker, rather close with "big sissy" and makes everyone jealous. It caused a surprise when he was appointed to work at a remote mountain school, but Tylenol doesn't seem to object to it. He still visits the minister frequently.

A child that was born from adult's sin and doesn't know the father. Due to various reasons, the real identity is kept as secret among family, even personal information is fake.

Yet he's a good child who accepts everything and adores his mother. Sometimes he tells the coworkers, "If my real age is confirmed, someone would probably be in trouble."

Paracetta

The medical minister of Paldea and a part of Scaled Society thanks to the Dragon tera type.

Due to the vulgar dressing habit, she doesn't participate in social work and government meetings. Most of time she's sleepy and stays at home or working at lab.

Her body pheromone has an extremely strong painkiller effect, so her family exploited it since she was young. That's how she develops the habit of wearing light clothes to make the smell radiates better. Though, she doesn't like it and is doing research to turn the pheromone extract into practical medicine. Many of the works was illegal stuffs, so Paracetta even after becoming minister, is still having connection with the illegal.

Though she often complains about it, she's genuine about the work of a minister, and has been governing Paldea's medical field quite well.

Been living under control of others the whole life, she decided to cut the chains after having children.

She wants to wear what she wants, sleeps with who she likes and develop a world better for her offspring.

The queenly instinct soon bloomed and dominated everyone, naturally creating a harem.

Though, she's more fond of people who don't sweet talk to her out of adoration.

Terapagos

Since the dawn of this world, its energy flow was given self-awareness and became a sentinel being.

When PKG came to this world, a group of brave adventurers ventured to its den through a large chasm in Paldea region.

Among many fallen soldiers, a boy was chosen for it to mimic humanoid appearance.

The bravest soldier, the leader of them, that poor boy's elder sister was given abnormal energy to become a new, powerful being.

Terapagos wanted to live a quiet life deep under the region built by Winged King.

After [False Dawn] event 3000 years ago, World's Immunity system has became a curse, which was known as The Fate or Nebula Syndrome nowadays.

It invaded Terapagos' home to demand the flow of world energy.

Couldn't stand against it, the being lost everything and its will sleep silently in a big Stella Crystal at the deepest point of Area Zero

Modern Paldea, the Stella Crystal was supposed to be a part of Area Zero's Time Loop project. But after a laboratory incident, it has disappeared.

Terapagos has chosen a new vessel to observe the future of the world, as it alone can't do anything else to save it anymore...

Kazu

The chief of Mossui town, Kitakami, assigned by Paldea government. A towering 30+ woman with cheerful and dreamy vibe like a young maiden. She's quick with paperwork and likes to patrol around the neighborhood, gossip with residents and enjoy festival activities. Whenever Kitakami has visitors, she greets them with a warm welcoming.

Even in the most bizarre, serious situations, or when saying harsh, sarcastic words, Kazu is always calm and smiley. Indeed she's always excellent at work, but it also gives an eerie feeling.

Though seemingly a traditional countryside woman, she knows a lot about modern technology and social waves, yet tries to not make it influence Ktkm's traditional values much.

Kazu calls the fish on her hand "my dear husband", the true chief of Kitakami. She always says that she's just following its command, the whispers that only she can hears and trust to follow with no question.

For a species that always serves as henchmen, Kazu is a rather clever woman. Yet due to prejudge, she's never perceived in the way she deserves. Kazu is engaged to a young, sickly Tatsugiri child, who she takes care of as a nanny rather than a wife. The child is supposed to be the next chief of Kitakami, but couldn't endure the pain of terminal ill and privately asked Kazu to give him an euthanasia.

The woman took this chance to make up the story about "the soul of the deceased husband now remains in the fish" to take over the role of Kitakami chief.

The Tatsugiri council has doubt on it through time. But since Kazu is still doing her work well, they are turning blind eye to save their face.

Parsley

A cunning journalist with bad mouth. Acts like a bothersome aunty. She's known for investigating people's secret to cause drama or blackmail. Once when secretly following Winged King and Beverly to Area Zero, she happened to witness some horrendous things that caused PTSD. After escaping from it, Parsley suffered from bulimia nervosa and the toxin inside her body became disarray. Therapy doesn't work and even the jobs can't go smooth as usual as well.

She was hired by the commander Soffell to investigate the new principal of Naranja Academy - Valadares, but was busted by his secretary. They invited Parsley to join the operation for investigation work. Thinking that it may help her overcome the trauma, Parsley agreed to join.

Due to unstable poisonous body, she doesn't usually join the meeting at the academy and only contact them via miss Momon. She also commented that the fresh and youthful air at school gives her even more nausea.

As a side effect of the bulimia, she seems to have known a lot about Paldea eating places recently.

Skazka

The big sister of a delinquent racing gang residing on the east of Paldea. Her big brother Marchen and the gang members Eenie & Meenie got dragged in the Phantom Reststop incident. After knowing about it from Chiyu - a calamity deity that she woke up and bonded with, she came to Naranja to join the Raid Operation.

When she used to study at Naranja, Skazka used to be a masked hero - Flame Rider, who beats the bullies in the dorm and was admired by many students. Yet, due to economy issue and dissatisfaction with school system, she dropped studying and became a delinquent leader.

When returning to Naranja, Skazka has a feeling that the new principal Valadares could do something new and better than previous principals. Unfortunately, her partner Chiyu holds a deep grudge and hatred to him, due to being the evil cult leader that caused harm to Groudon before.

Despite being a rough and fearsome gang leader, Skazka has a soft spot for cute children and wants to take care of them like a mom, She also respects her big brother a lot.

When in battle, many blades and nails will grow from the bat, making it function more or less like a sharp weapon (blade)

Momon

The secretary of principal Valadares. Actually an international police in charge of keeping an eye on him - a runaway criminal. She makes sure that principal doesn't plotting anything shady again as well as helps keeping his real identity a secret.

While doing pretty well in both paperwork and undercover works, she doesn't trust principal at all. She is often bitter and sarcastic, thinking that he can never redeem or making up for the sin he has caused.

In front of students, Momon doesn't talk much. Always calm yet solves the demands in haste and by force. Thank to the soothing aroma, students like being near her, especially the girls who can lay on her.

During A0 raid operation, she is like a squad mom.

Esop

19 years old.

Apprentice at Edda's auto mechanic workshop. Used to attend Naranja Academy but dropped out because he couldn't keep up with academic knowledge and pressure. He was a part of a delinquent gang until getting beaten up by Edda and got interested in vehicle mechanic. Esop looks up to and feels indebted to his mentor. He dreams of being a mechanic in Avian Army.

Hardworking, honest and conscientious, apologizing for Edda whenever she solves problems with a hammer. He could evolve already, but is postponing it, fearing the awkward species relation with his mentor. Meanwhile Edda says she doesn't mind and keeps telling Esop to evolve soon.

As Edda was stuck in the time loop and did not return to the workshop for a long time, Esop was worried and asked around, eventually got to know about Naranja Academy's A0 Raid Operation. He asked to join it and was allowed, being helpful with mechanic knowledge.

To the kids on the team, he's like a reliable brother, although Esop himself is uncomfortable with Naranja. He feels insecure and anxious when being at the school he dropped and didn't have good memories with.

Despite always restraining his powers so as not to evolve, before entering A0, Principal Valadares had prepared Esop with a Corviknight battle gear in case of an emergency..

Houdin

Student of Naranja Academy, class STEM-2 and president of Grade 2 student council. As he is moving to Grade 3 soon, Houdin is aiming to the role of student council’s president in chef. That’s why he is willing to join A0 Raid operation for a good profile.

Losing both legs in an incident when he was young, Houdin gives the impression of a loud gremlin. He always carries the leg enhancement but rarely uses it in public. While wanting to be student council president, he is quite reckless and a rule-breaker. Overly dedicated in helping people. Academy’s logo on the hoodie is jus a patch that can be peeled off.

At night, he became a masked hero in Academy dorm, helping people, doing security patrol and beating the bullies. Houdin is confident that no one can recognize him with enhanced legs, but many students knew his identity just through silhouette. Academy staffs, on the other hand, don’t care much about this act of him.

When he was young, Houdin was saved by a hero in the dorm - Flame Rider and has always been admiring them. After Flame Rider’s mysterious disappearance, Houdin was determined to become the next hero to protect the peace in dorm. He never expected to meet that hero again during A0 Raid operation..

Yangzi

The lieutenant of Paldea Navy, who has just been promoted recently after evolution. She syncs and pilots the Mighty Robo, a powerful family product.

A passionate, cheerful and friendly personality, adored by many people. A heroic and straight-forward heart. She used to be concerned about keeping the ideal image, but has been more reckless after evolution. Sometimes she drinks a lot, uses bad words and doesn’t mind pointing out other people’s wrong doing.

Just as the long-time rivalry between her race and Quaquaval race in Paldea Navy, Yangzi doesn’t get along with the current commander - Mr. Bravo. With Mighty Robo on hand, she dreams of being the first non-avian commander of Navy.

For a long time, she couldn’t find a way to evolve and stuck in receptionist position at navy. The family’s guide was too vague - “Becoming a selfless hero”. As Yangzi was always good to others and they treat her well, she doesn’t know how to be even more selfless.

Yangzi’s will of breaking the tradition in army has synced with Chienpao, the Ruinous deity sealed in the shrine near her location. They often talked and formed a friendship.

When the seal was about to be broken, the residents around the area were worried that a dangerous monster will be released, and rock slide will cause damage to that area.

Yangzi decided to put her trust in Chienpao and managed to awake Mighty Robo to save both residents and the Ruinous. That’s her evolution.

While their friendship continues, the beast is interest in Yangzi’s robo and modern weapons, so it decided to stay by her side. Other people told her to be careful with the dangerous deity, but she only feels like keeping a pet.

Urara

Paldea’s new minister of culture and tourism. She has just won the competition to inherit the position from her deceased father (former minister) recently.

Seems to be calm, matured and clever despite of young age (15) and tiny appearance. Her demeanor is adored and respected by people in the manor, it’s hard to get mad at her. Yet Urara hardly stepped out of the manor before becoming the minister, so she lacks of real life experience. While approaching everything with a calm and honest attitude, the innocence can cause herself trouble sometimes.

She is doing the work of a minister quite well with the help from some assistants. Urara wants to have more social experience and continues to develop the culinary aspect like her father did, so she often sneaks out from work and travels with her Dondozo partner.

While concerned about the terrible relationship between her father and their shared Dondozo partner, Urara doesn’t try to fix what happened in the past and only aims to a better future.

Through her childhood, Urara listened to her father’s stories about the glory time with the Dondozo partner he betrayed.

She knows his agony and regret. She knows why her father doesn’t have any Dondozo partner. She understands why he always does his best as a minister to develop Paldea’s culinary.

The father was assassinated by the forces who wanted to take over the minister role. As the heir, Urara had to win the cooking competition to inherit that position.

She needs a reliable partner, a stronger force to counter them.

So Urara researched and found her father’s former partner, who was already out of jail and is cooking in a slumpy eatery.

His knowledge in Paldea’s culinary, his love for cooking, his secret leadership of the local thugs.. That’s what Urara needs.

She asked him to be her partner, to continue the dream that her father had to give up.

“On this path to ruling Paldea’s culinary, I’d love to have you walk by my side.”

Hiroshi

Often dubbed as Hi-san by acquaintances. Chef of a shabby eatery near Casseroya Lake. His skills are excellent and the love for cooking is genuine, but the eatery is unpopular due to its degraded state, the owner’s rough personality and rumors about his past. Hiroshi himself doesn’t really care about promoting his eatery anyway.

Recently, he agreed to form a partnership contract with Urara - the daughter of the Tatsugiri who betrayed him in the past and assisted her to become the new minister of Paldea. While the relationship is awkward, Hiroshi does respect and care for Urara, though he can never be honest with his feelings. He often says “That’s what a Dondozo must do as a part of the contract”, but actually there is no such rule.

Behind the shabby eatery and cooking as a hobby, Hiroshi is the boss of local thugs (mostly Veluza). Using his authority in controlling the underworld side, he can assist Urara in her minister work.

During school days, he used to be a normal student with the love for cooking and knowledge about local culinary. A Tatsugiri young master asked him to be his partner and founded a gang to beat up the thugs who attacked local eateries. It was a good time until that Tatsugiri partner shoved all responsibility to Hiroshi, making him imprisoned while the man himself became a minister of Paldea thanks to the leadership ability.

After the betrayal and the time in jail, Hiroshi became rough and closed his heart. All connection with the former partner was cut off. He cannot forgive the traitor, but also cannot give up on the dream in his youth. While running a shabby eatery, he also collects local thugs to keep an eye on Casseroya Lake’s eateries and restaurants.

Hiroshi was surprised to know that his former partner has passed away, and that man’s daughter managed to find him, even asked him to be her partner again. While not asking for any forgive, Urara pointed out what she needed in him and asked Hiroshi to continue the dream left in the past - To protect and develop Paldea’s culinary.

Vallet

Apprentice at Hi-san’s eatery. While the root is not from Casseroya Lake, she got interested in the culture and culinary and tried to dress in local traditional clothes. Her sibling is a thug under Hi-san’s command, that’s why Vallet knew about the eatery and requested to be an employee there.

Reckless and no-brainer, but means no harm. Vallet often swings her two cooking knives around and scares off people. The scars on limbs are actually the result of cooking study. She has no interest in delinquent activities.

After her master got contract with Urara, Vallet became more of less like a mediator for this awkward relationship. A bad influence that destroyed Urara’s dignified demeanor and often teaches her lawless behaviors. While the young lady seems to enjoy it, her valet and Hi-san does not.

Mikazuki

Urara’s personal valet since she was young, now the right hand for her in minister position.

His family originally not from Paldea, and they received former minister’s help to be permanent residents. So Mikazuki feels indebted and wants to assist Urara with his best.

Seems to be excellent at multi-tasks, though it’s actually stressful most of time. He is like a hard-working officer, always talks about deadlines and documents. It’s rumored that if necessary, Mikazuki can be Urara’s secret investigator.

To subordinates, he demands everything to be done in a speedy style with no time to waste. While to his lady, Mikazuki wants her to take time in getting used to the new position and get along with Hi-san. He always thinks that only Dondozo can be the best partner for a Tatsugiri, and a foreigner like him can’t compete to it.

Yet, Mikazuki seems to be impatient with Hi-san’s cold attitude and Vallet’s bad influence on his lady. He loses his calm manner when yelling at Vallet. Frequently, Urara sneaks out of work to travel with the two, and Mikazuki freaks out to find where she is.

Habanera

17 years old. A student at Naranja Academy. Is noticed by many peers due to being small and adorable. Actually Habanera is good at combat and is not afraid of hardship. But the soft and dreamy young girl atmosphere makes people want to protect her from the first impression. It's rumored that Habanera initially used Baile style, which was not fit her image at all. Therefor she couldn't make friends and received many whispers from back. Only after switching to Pompom style that she became school's flower. Joined Shirley's team because the benefactor she loved is involved in the Time Loop incident. Skills are not too special, but helpful with many types of dance. She likes talking to Shirley because both study dancing. Also shy toward Esop because he’s a male bird.

Originally, Habanera was the daughter of a Baile dancer family. Although she has a rare color, her body is small and flat, so even if she learns to dance well, she can't be seductive. Habanera wants to gain more confidence and hone her skills, so she often wears a mask to dance at a night bar. Once, a drunk customer chased after Habanera to harass. Fortunately Tesla - a rest stop worker, actually undercover agent, rescued her and advised her to stop doing this because she was young. Since that incident, she got special feeling for Tesla and changed her style to match him, unexpectedly getting more attention at school.
