BRITECHESTER ( UNIVERSITY ) REDUX ( & update )

Here we are ( again ) :D After 2 busy weeks of servers, files transfer and reorganization ( and so on ) as we said in a previous post, some of the expansions x11 update were not done since they need a deeper inside look ;) Britechester is one of them :)

We made a lot of work on everything, especially the urban package which has 342 files ... And we named it Britechester 2.0 because, well, why not since this is the second makeover of Britechester

The whole stuff has been tested by our famous testers @cupisims and @kunisprings ... and played 4 days long by the k-hippie team.

( for info, yes ... we got our diploma ) ;)

Next ( and LAST ) in queue : Del Sol Valley ( get famous ) and Glimmerbrook ( realm of magic ) and I think we'll be all good with the k-505 mods :D

We really hope you'll like this redux ! As we received some messages related to the last versions of our mods, here a picture of my own current k-505 folder :D in theory, it is accurate :)

it's only been day one and yet SO MANY CROWE SCENES?????? gosh I'm foamig at the mouth I didn't know fantasia was cooking THIS hard behind the scenes

only got to day one for now cuz I'm pretty dizzy n there's things to do but gosh there's so many new content added. old day one was good but now it's even BETTER (no wonder it took so long tbh it was worth the wait)

everyone's been given so much personality omg. fantasia probably initially didn't expect the game to be so popular so the old version felt a bit monotonous imo but it was still really good and lots of lore hidden in just one day!

gah this new Crowe is so.. cute?! back then it felt like he was kind of distant in a way? like there's some sort of longing from mc while Crowe is just kind of oblivious to it. or maybe that's how I've always seen their relationship. but now, so many things have changed and i loveit so much omgomgomg

this new change emphasized their relationship further and portrayed how close they really were being the MC's only close friend in the entire college. he's the only one noticed the mc and actually tried to get to know them. he's the one who saw the color in mc when they thought they blended into the colorless crowd okay fine I'll write a fic soon

he's so endearing and only shit did i mention the stargazing scene

the reveal about crowe being a puppy following mc around even if mc ignored him was so cute lmao him defending mc was so heartwarming too I couldn't stop giggling (also shorter haired Crowe?? wowow)

as for mc, i really liked the slight changes to their personality. it added more depth and made them feel so much more relatable. i won't be going deep into myself but them being a 'side character' or an outcast was just so relatable.

as for sol, i haven't seen much yet:( but the scene in the clinic had some changes and sol made much more impact than he did originally. when he looked back at mc before he left i actually felt a little nervous lol.

even in the classroom meeting he mumbled "It's you...." which was super cute tbh why is everyone so cute? the drawing scene didn't change much but it was after it that was my favorite. when mc asked him to be their friend it was such a cute interaction, and later when the game showed Sol's reaction blushing. he's so cute<3

for the other characters I don't have much to say. Brittney is still hot as fuck, Jess is cute, Geo is scary, and Darryl is more endearing than before. Hyugo I haven't met yet:(

4 months in the making and it’s finally here! huge thank you to everyone that’s been following me through the process. ♡ y’all are so kind and supportive and i really appreciate all the love. this was originally going to be a personal save, it’s inspired by my hometown (portsmouth, virginia) most builds are based off real places around me, and some households are based off my friends and family. this is very much still personal to me!

willow creek, newcrest, and magnolia promenade have been rebuilt, repopulated, and transformed into one large town

i own all packs and kits, if you don't you can still play this save but build and cas objects will be missing

21 residential lots / 19 community lots - please read community lot descriptions because most are multi functional! i also left some empty commercial spaces that are “for lease” so i can add things as new packs come out

added new holidays - i changed names to be more realistic and added a few (spring cleaning day, easter, independence day, halloween, christmas eve)

added 5 new clubs (city officials, a gang, a cult, a record label, painting classes by a townie)

i highly suggest turning the eco lifestyle ep’s eco foot print + npc voting off, unless you want the town to look apocalyptic and the trinity church community space to be set to the winter version during summer etc

i turned neighborhood stories off, but sims were still adopting babies and divorcing each other so i kept them all in the my households tab, you don’t have to keep them there!

Yes, Death is still alive and kicking, and I am as well! 💀

I know this is rather unexpected, especially after the lack of any updates this last year, but I'm back and I owe you all an apology.

Life kicked me in the butt while mocking me that I should still be grateful to live another day. Shit happened and I'm not proud of how I acted. I took a step back from the Abyssal to heal, but I neglected my lovely readers while doing so. I'm not one to openly mope, but I received a lot of concerned asks and I thank every single one of you for still caring about my sorry behind 😊

Now, let's focus on the good part of this whole mess. I've got some news!!

Firstly, The Abyssal went through a considerable rewrite, nothing major but a few passages were added and other pieces were slightly changed. You guys will notice the difference, I hope.

Around 15k words were added to chapter one and 12k to chapter two. The demo now has a total of 100k words;

Now the choices that will unlock the madness and fury domain are labeled.

Added time and location to each memory jump to better situate the reader.

Miah in paris | A new venture

The day has finally arrived! Miah and Sansha would like to introduce you to the monthly magazine 'Luxe Fashion'

Miah and Sansha are both Co-Owners of the high end fashion magazine, and have been working on this lil project for months

Each month (depending how busy I am) will cover some of the new and old CC released from the likes of sentate, serentiy, caio etc! I will also be having a different model on each front cover and they will have a three page spread in which they will be styling some of the latest trends. I will be treating this as a kind of monthly lookbook where I will be styling all of the CC together and linking the CC used

On top of that I will also be releasing an in game magazine that you can use as decor, and I will be updating it each month with the new cover swatch. For now it only has the one swatch, but it will grow with each month

For now they are currently 'renting' the sol school of fashion as their headquarters but they do plan on buying their own property at some point, build is by @rheya28 and can be found here HOWEVER I have massively modified it to suit the needs of miah's new venture

I AM OBSESSED WITH THE NEW TKATB UPDATE

Naturally, i had to draw something that came to mind, after i got hooked on the bad ending

This is just a little something that came to mind: one rough sketched and one colored rough sketch!

I do hope that it's recognizable what i was trying to draw (especially perspective-wise)

-if not: the first one is obv sol looking straight ahead with his hand clutching his head and the second drawing is Sol tilting his head down and looking up at MC through his eyebrows, clutching his shirt where his heart is (I'm currently learning how to draw hands TT)

By the way, am i the only one who lowkey wished that the player can actually choose wether to look for crowe or not? I believe a lot of people would wait it out, still be worried of course, but wait and not immediately search for the person but idk i just feel like that would also be really interesting, it'd be intriguing to see how sol is gonna behave towards us afterwards.
