Wave!! Naminori Boys - Sunrise at Diamond Head -

Characters: Kosuke Iwana (K), Soichiro William Mori (B)

For context, Diamond Head is a volcanic tuff cone on the Hawaiian island of Oʻahu and known to Hawaiians as Lēʻahi.

K: Since I'm in Hawaii, I'll head to Diamond Head before going to the beach. Anyone want to come with me?

B: That sounds great! I want to go, too.

K: Hmm... I was under the impression that you didn't participate in these kinds of things… I'm surprised.

K: Fu~ I'm glad you were the first to come forward. I'm looking forward to working with you.

B: I'm looking forward to working with you, too.

[They're at the base of Diamond Head.]

K: One… two… three… four…

B: You've been stretching very carefully, haven't you? I thought the climb would be a little more easy-going.

K: I'm going for a jog.

B: Great stoicism. I guess that's what you'd expect from Kosuke-kun.

K: I can't lose! I'm going with you.

[A few minutes later]

B: *panting* The nice view makes me feel light on my feet!

K: Yeah, you're right...

K: But still… I didn't think you would be able to keep up with me this far without slowing down.
