re prev post... I need more people who followed me for Ted Lasso to understand how wildly fucking insane rl football actually gets.
I'm keeping a tally of unhinged moments I want to shove into my fic for this fandom, such as "Goalkeeper gets sent off and a random player has to stand in goal now" or "Goal disallowed because buttocks were offside; ass too big!" or "Crazy penalty shoutout ends with 44 total penalties taken" or "League champions celebrate in the dark after rivals turn off stadium lights after final whistle"
And maybe some people will think I'm making this all and I just have a great imagination, but actually? This ALL happened in club football just this week

hiii could you do the reader and jj diving for the necklace, getting attacked by those guys, and jj goes to get the reader with the group checking up on them and they end up getting the bends, going to the hospital to be put into that chamber and it’s just really cute and soft <3
Hyperbaric Chamber
jj maybank x reader
OBX season 4 SPOILERS
a/n: I was hoping someone would request this! I didn’t know if you wanted smut or not so I didn’t include it but let me know if anyone wants smut in the hyperbaric chamber!
Tumblr media
“Look, it’s too dangerous for you to dive alone Im going with you,” you stated.
“You sure?” JJ questioned.
“Yeah I’m sure. It’s not safe. You need a buddy.”
“It’s 80 feet down in the dark.”
“I already decided so,” you replied.
“Okay, that’s that.” JJ spoke.
You and JJ were going to receive an amulet that had been said to break the curse of the Genrettes that’s haunted their family for over 300 years. You were a little nervous but you knew you had JJ with you. You and JJ, plus Pope and John B take the boat out to where Blackbeard’s ship was wrecked.
“Don’t forget your safety stop, all right? Fifteen feet for three minutes. Hear that, JJ? Fifteen feet, three minutes,” Pope reminded you both.
“Copy that.”
“Or what?” you ask.
“The bends, remember? Nitrogen in the blood, excruciating pain, death, et cetera, et cetera.” Pope recites.
JJ looks at you and you can tell he will never forgive himself if something happened to you. “Hey you okay?” He asks.
“Yeah I’m good.”
“Okay.”
“Diver down.”
“Diver down.”
You and JJ put on your gear and fall back into the water. You both turn on your flashlights and swim down into the water. There’s a lot of fish but you finally reach the ship. JJ pushed open a window and you both go through it.
JJ finds the necklace and uses his knife to break it off the wall. Out of nowhere someone attacks you and takes your breathing tube out of your mouth. JJ takes his speargun and thrusts it at the guy, he manages to shank him in the arm.
JJ starts to fight with the guy and the guy ends up locking JJ out. JJ calls out to you, his voice desperate and he bangs on the door. The guy grabs you by the leg and cuts off your tank leaving you with no air. JJ screams for you and you scream for him.
JJ managed to break a hole in the door and he put his arm through and unlocked it. He then urgently gave you his mouth piece to give you some air. He looked down at his monitor and saw that there was only 17 seconds left.
“We gotta go now.” JJ urged.
You finally reached the surface and you both gasped for air.
“You okay?” JJ asked.
“Yeah. That was so close.”
“I know.”
“Who the hell was that down there?” JJ questioned.
“Where’s John B?”
The two of you start yelling for Pope and John B. They hear you and you swim over to them. Pope gets the ladder.
“Y/N, hand me your stuff,” Pope offers.
You let out a groan.
“Wait. Where’s your BCP?” Pope asks.
“It’s gone.”
“What? What do you mean it’s gone?”
“I mean, it’s gone.”
“You all right?”
“Yeah.”
“There was a guy that tried to kill us.” JJ breathed.
“We saw a boat out here too. They were armed. We need to get out of here now,” Pope said urgently.
“No, you don’t understand. There’s a guy down there-“ JJ was cut off.
“There’s a boat. We just saw it pass,” Pope repeats.
John B starts to move the boat and you all sail out of there. Once you all get back to the château John B speaks, “Alright what the hell happened?”
“Someone tried to kill us,” you responded.
“What? Why would someone try to kill you? That doesn’t make sense,” Pope was confused.
“Obviously, they were going after the same thing we were, right?” John B stated.
“My stomach hurts,” you announced.
“Hey, man, did you take your safety stop?” Pope inspects JJ’s eye.
“I’m gonna say it one more time. Someone was trying to kill us. We did not make the safety stop,“ JJ replied.
“They have the bends. We need to get them to the hospital. Now.” Pope says worried.
Everyone hopped in the twinkie and John B drove as fast as he could. You and JJ were moaning and groaning in pain. Sarah told you to take deep breaths.
“Y’all are not going to believe this,” JJ says as he hands the amulet to Sarah.
“You found it?”
“Holy shit.”
After what felt like forever you finally make it to the hospital. Your friends held you up as you walked in. Pope explained that you went diving and you need help.
“Their vitals and mental status is stable, and the pain scale is moving in the right direction, but they still need time in the hyperbaric chamber. They just bought themselves 12 hours in the tank,” the nurse said to John B.
The two of you were in a lot of pain and you were panting as you laid down in the chamber.
“Y/N.”
“Mmm.”
“You almost died. I should’ve never let you go down there,” JJ says with regret.
“Then who would’ve saved your life?” You reasoned.
“I saved you too.”
“Ya know we’re in here for 12 hours,” you began.
“Yeah but there’s no one else I’d rather be in here with,” JJ shared.
“You’re sweet.”
“You’re my whole world you know that? I don’t know what I would’ve done if something happened to you.”
“I’m here J, right here,” You take his hand and hold it as you lay down.
JJ looks at you and then looks at your lips. You scoot closer to him and lean in. JJ cups your face with one hand and places his lips on yours. The kiss was needy but gentle. JJ was relieved to be kissing you. Your lips were crushing together.
You felt warm all over and your stomach was tingling. JJ’s heart was palpitating. JJ’s tongue explored your mouth. You lapped up his mouth. After making out, you took a breath and JJ brushed a strand of hair away from your face.
“My beautiful girl,” JJ whispered as he cradled your face.
“I love you so fucking much,” JJ confessed.
“I love you too.”
“I’m gonna marry you some day. We’re gonna live on the beach and have a bunch of kids. It’s gonna be perfect,” JJ talked to you about your future.
“Sounds like a dream,” you stated.
“It will be. So do you want a small wedding or a big wedding?” JJ asked.
“Hmm maybe something small and intimate. Like just the pogues and family,” you suggested.
“Yeah I like that idea. Where do you want to go for our honeymoon?”
“What about Greece or Italy or Fiji?” You thought out loud.
“Any of those would work for me, as long as i’m with you,” JJ replied.
You rested your forehead on JJ’s forehead and smiled. You spent the rest of your time in the chamber cuddling and talking. It was an experience. You turned out just fine and you had JJ so that was nice.

Sleepytime Tea (Wade Talks in His Sleep) by dinosaurstars (T)
3636 words, 1/1 chapter
“I–I–” For once, Wade can’t think of anything to say. Shit. Logan’s eyes are barely visible in the near darkness, but Wade can feel his gaze nonetheless. It isn’t the piercing glare he’s usually graced with. Fuck. As the moment stretches on, there’s nothing to fill the silence but Wade’s breaths, the soft pants of wounded prey staring up at its soon-to-be killer. But Logan seems perfectly content to wait, and it’s only then that Wade realizes that Logan’s holding his hand. It makes his insides feel like they’re twisting into balloon animals in a not-fun way, and Wade thinks that six adamantium claws directly to the chest would be easier to take. His lungs already feel like they’re full of blood. Strapped down. Can’t move. Can’t breathe. His skin feels like it’s turning inside out. He can see his reflection in the glass of the hyperbaric chamber, can hear himself scream while he watches himself turn into a monster. Francis. Francis. “I was a mermaid in H20: Just Add Water and the condensation from my water bottle made me transform during my class trip to the beach.” The words tumble from Wade’s mouth like a waterfall. Finally.
author's tags: nightmares, hurt/comfort, mutual pining, wade is bad at feelings, wade has ptsd, protective logan, sexual tension
my tags: emotional hurt/comfort, nightmares, wade wilson has ptsd, protective logan, happy ending

review (light spoilers):
good morninggg it's been a long time. i have a whole list of recs to get to but this is one i read last night, because i woke up this morning still thinking of a line from this fic. it wasn't even really a line related to the general premise but god it blew me away. anyway!
this is one of those fics where one of them has a nightmare and is comforted. not a new plot by any means but beautifully written and characterised nonetheless! one of my favourite things about this fic is how much character is snuck into it just through a couple of words thrown into some lines, that just tell you so much about wade and logan in a way you could very easily miss. the author is also great at writing logan's instinctive (protective, animalistic) thoughts and wade's stream of consciousness dialogue. it just makes for such a good balance between angsty and entertaining
this isn't even an established relationship or getting together but that isn't always necessary for their dynamic to shine through, and this fic proves it. it's so tender and they find such comfort and relatability in each other that you are basically implicitly handed the certainty that it will all be ok.
favourite lines (also light spoilers):
He opens his mouth to do just that, but a trembling overtakes his body and shakes the words from him.
He casts his eyes to the heavens, expecting the dull ache when it makes him think of Kurt. (!!!!!!!!!! this fucking line oh my god)
read (and comment on!) the fic

OBX 4 SPOILERS
spoilers ahead!!!
yall im freaking out i just finished watching it.
first of all we are so back. S1 pogoes vibes are back and i love it. finally normal scenes of them just together.
JIARA WON BITCHES
i had the biggest fucking smile on my face when jj was dancing on the pier and for their kiss. also noticed that when kie said “i love you” he kinda cringed a little which makes me think that he still doesn’t entirely accept it and perhaps we’ll get more of that later in part 2
all the jiara scenes in general are everything to me. THE DIVING SCENE HELLO?? the way jj didn’t even argue with her bc they’re both so stubborn. the banter?! i’m dead. protective jj going into full gear. IM SOLD. THEY GOT THE BENDS! so many season 1 callbacks im loving it.
I need a jiara missing moment from the hyperbaric chamber thingy. i was gagged when i saw that that was what that still was from. giggling and kicking my feet during that whole scene.
also the pier scene was great. i know a lot of people are complaining about the lack of physical contact between them but tbh i don’t mind it. their whole relationship has been more based on words and action rather than physical touch and i live for their flirty banter. and the way they speak to each other is so soft and sweet. like they never raise their voices at each other even when everyone is else is yelling. protective jj once again at the beach scene. (fuck ruthie btw almost was in tears over that turtle) and then shoupe coming back to investigate jjs literal death threat on behalf of kie and him blaming it on AI omg i was literally dying.
jj is my husband and my baby i love him so much. i’m so glad that he gets the spotlight this season. i don’t think he’s gonna die like everyone is saying. i was actually screaming at the ending though. did not expect luke to not be related to him at all??? i could understand him mom being elizabeth but the fuck you mean like isn’t his dad??! i know he’s gonna be going through it in the next part and him smashing shit and starting riots and what not makes a lot of sense. also he looked good af in every scene. honestly everyone looks hot in every scene so far.
anyways i’m not gonna be able to stop thinking about this until nov 7 i need the fics to come out the girlies better be putting in that work lmao

Hello, I've recently started reading your blog and am enjoying it so far. I'm curious on your thoughts about a few things. What is your overall opinion on Jared? I've been noticing lately that Jared has been looking more miserable lately and looks a good bit thinner than he did a couple years ago. I also noticed his hair doesn't look as soft and shiny as it used to.
I watched the Mens Health video of an interview with him on what he eats and his workout routine. I noticed there was relatively little protein outside of him mentioning chicken, cheese and sometimes eggs and bacon. I also recall him mentioning he doesn't really eat carbs either. Do you think Gen is perhaps trying to control his diet and that it's possibly impacting his health mentally and physically? I know of people who do keto right and are healthy but I'm wondering if Jared is really doing that right, especially with what I've noticed and also tends to get sick a lot. I'm also wondering why he had to use a hyperbaric chamber to get more oxygen to his brain at one point.
Also, I saw a post of yours where you mentioned your first disdain of Gen is much stronger than it is towards Danneel. Would you be kind enough to tell me why you hate Gen a lot more than Danneel?
Thank you for your time in reading and hopefully answering this all.
Oh man, I’ve been super busy for the past several weeks, then sick, and haven’t gotten around to responding to asks in any particular order. But I’ve also been hesitant to touch this one because anyone that comes anywhere close to Jared critical content is immediately chased with pitchforks around here. It is so divided and therefore people are defending their faves to the death. Especially since Prequelgate, Jared, and thus Gen, are the current Prom King and Queen in the areas of fandom I most often see. And let me be clear that I’m not a Heller nor am I anti-Jared but I’m just also not a stan…of anyone. Honestly, I’m an “eat the rich” leftist at heart who believes anyone’s choices can be looked at with a critical eye.
(Long post under the cut)
To answer the easy stuff first, I don’t feel as strongly about Danneel because, except for a few appearances here and there, she keeps to herself lately and doesn’t give me a reason to really analyze her behaviors. I wasn’t deep into fandom during the early days of her and Jensen getting married and all of her territorial behaviors, so I don’t bring all of that with me to the present day. I do hate the way Danneel panders to Hellers and I did pick up on some irritating comments in her most recent OTH podcast appearance. The response from a fan question at HonCon about how Jensen can never impress her makes me roll my eyes and is part of their schtick that feels very tired. I don’t think we would be friends, but Danneel doesn’t get under my skin quite the same way Gen does. I think in some ways, Danneel has been more openly who she is (even if it was bitchy and unlikeable) whereas Gen has hidden behind a Mary Sue persona of golly-gee-whiz perfection…and I just respect that authenticity more.
Describing why I am anti Gen is…honestly difficult to summarize. I will link some of my other posts to help. Right away, it’s not because I’m jealous and she gets to be married to Jared. Overall, it lies in all the inconsistencies and hypocrisies which, honestly, I wouldn’t even be aware of if she wasn’t so set on proving her worth to herself by building a platform to manipulate her fans with sales pitches. She preaches sustainability while also jet-setting constantly. And she’s more of a flip-flopper than a preacher, so understanding what she even stands for is difficult. She wants to sell you 6 different supplements for the almighty gut health while also being seen drinking alcohol regularly. And when she laments about being stressed I lose my entire mind because most of us could only dream of having her version of stress. In one of her most recent IG story ads she complained that 2 trips out of the country (and away from her children) were just SO HARD to deal with! To me, instead of the relatable vibe she’s going for, she regularly comes off as entirely ungrateful and unaware of all of her privileges.
When I look at Gen, don’t see the same “goofy, light-hearted mom who is altruistically trying gosh darn hard to save the world with recycling and kindness” that her fans see. I see an uptight yet insecure grifter who skates by in this fandom by doing the bare minimum while being praised like a saint. And I think that it is her connection to Jared that affords her all the fandom grace. When people still refer to this grown man as one of their “boys” and liken him to “literal sunshine,” puppies, and sunflowers…well, imagine the positive assumptions we make about a partner that person chooses.
(I hate referring to either J as a boy, don’t come for me…and I’ve seen Jensen receiving the same stanning that also makes me gag lol)
While I hope Jared is not struggling with any other underlying health issue, his frame has appeared to change in recent years. But I’m definitely not here to say that this is due to Gen “controlling” him in any way. I do think Gen has/has had her own issues with eating (she admitted to having history of an eating disorder in a podcast once) and excessive exercise, but Jared is a grown man who makes his own decisions. Jared himself has alluded to insecurities in his body image over the years, praised what I would call disordered eating practices like fasting, and his bulked up frame as Soulless Sam was suspected of having anabolic help at the time. I do think he dabbles in manipulating diet and exercise in different ways like every one else in The Biz and I think he has a naturally lanky frame. So if he doesn’t want to work out constantly in order to stay swole, then I fully respect that. There is also the issue of his knee that no doubt impacts his capabilities as well.
As for the hyperbaric chamber (mentioned during Jared’s appearance on the Inside of You podcast on 5/24/22): he didn’t need it and the evidence that it even fixes anything just isn’t there. That doctor is a known quack, and he sucked Jared right in. At these clinics they take specialized (and not widely accepted in the field of actual neuroscience) scans of your brain and present you with scary results in order to sell these expensive chambers and their own supplements. It’s a racket. Now, how did he find his way to an Amen Clinic in Costa Mesa, CA? I really couldn’t tell you, but it does sound like the shifty, woo woo alternative medicine that Gen has also been pursuing for her “brain fog.” But then again, his supposed buddy and co-star Keegan Allen is also a health and wellness wackadoo, and we’ve seen Jared get sucked in by the likes of that young lady with the boutique IV drip clinic too. Jared has also shouted out Joe Rogan multiple times. He’s got multiple influences.
If Gen and/or Jared is concerned about their cognitive functioning, as a person with connection to the world of eating disorders, my opinion is that they invest in less oxygen chambers and instead at least consider more carbohydrates and overall calories. You’d be amazed at how much less foggy your brain feels when it’s properly nourished. And no, I’m not diagnosing anyone here, but I am saying that people with access to these expensive specialists are sometimes overlooking an answer that is right in front of their faces simply because eating a wider variety of nutrients would betray their brand. And sometimes people are scared to eat more when they can no longer workout like they use to and have an image to maintain.

7 Critical conditions hyperbaric chamber can reverse
Tumblr media
A Hyperbaric Chamber offers a treatment called Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT). It helps heal various injuries by supplying pure oxygen in a pressurized environment. This increased oxygen level boosts healing, reduces inflammation, and speeds up recovery. This therapy can make a significant difference in seven serious conditions or injuries.
1. Post-Surgical Recovery
Recovering from surgery can be challenging, especially when wounds don’t heal as quickly as expected. This is often seen in patients with underlying diabetes or poor circulation. In these cases, Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy can make a big difference. Increasing the amount of oxygen in the blood helps damaged tissues repair themselves faster. This is particularly beneficial for patients who have undergone major surgeries like skin grafts, bone repair, or reconstructive procedures. The treatment also reduces swelling, improves blood flow, and lowers the risk of infections that could complicate recovery. For patients with delayed wound healing or post-surgery complications, a Hyperbaric Chamber can aid in recovery. This therapy promotes faster healing, helping them return to normal life with fewer complications. Facilities offering Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy can be found in Mumbai, specializing in post-surgical recovery treatments.
Tumblr media
2. Cancer Recovery
Although a Hyperbaric Chamber doesn’t treat cancer, it improves patient comfort during treatment. It also aids recovery from the side effects of cancer therapies, especially radiation. Radiation can damage healthy tissues around the targeted cancer cells, causing painful wounds and slow healing. Patients often experience burns, sores, or tissue damage long after their treatment has ended. Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy enhances tissue repair by increasing oxygen delivery to damaged areas. This accelerates healing and reduces discomfort. It is particularly beneficial for patients with radiation burns or soft tissue damage in sensitive areas. These areas include the mouth, bladder, and rectum, where healing can be challenging. This therapy promotes blood vessel growth and tissue repair, aiding cancer survivors in their recovery. It helps improve their quality of life by reducing the lingering side effects of treatments. It’s a valuable tool for long-term recovery after cancer therapy.
3. Diabetic Ulcers
Diabetic ulcers are open sores or wounds that commonly develop on the feet of people with diabetes. However, they can also occur on other parts of the body. These wounds can be very slow to heal due to poor circulation and reduced blood flow. In severe cases, diabetic ulcers can lead to infections, and sometimes, even amputation may be necessary. For patients suffering from these non-healing ulcers, a Hyperbaric Chamber can provide a solution. Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy increases oxygen levels in the blood, enhancing tissue repair and promoting new blood vessel growth. It also helps fight infection, supporting the body’s healing process. It gives the body the extra oxygen it needs to heal wounds that otherwise wouldn’t close on their own. Many patients with diabetic ulcers have seen significant improvements after undergoing this therapy. This treatment can be a lifesaver by reducing the risk of infection and preventing serious complications. It promotes healing, helping patients avoid more invasive procedures in the future. Clinics specializing in this therapy can be found in Mumbai.
4. Crush Injuries
Crush injuries occur when a part of the body is subjected to heavy pressure, often during accidents or falls. These injuries can cause severe damage to muscles, nerves, and tissues. One of the major risks with crush injuries is swelling, which can restrict blood flow to the affected area. This lack of circulation may lead to tissue death if not addressed promptly. A Hyperbaric Chamber can help by reducing swelling and improving oxygen delivery to the injured tissues. The therapy increases the oxygen supply to the damaged area, which speeds up the healing process and prevents long-term complications. It also helps remove toxins from the tissue, reducing the risk of infection. For patients with crush injuries, Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy can be vital in their recovery. It helps repair damaged tissues, reduces pain, and increases the likelihood of a full recovery without permanent damage. Seeking treatment options in Mumbai can significantly enhance the healing process for these injuries.
Tumblr media
5. Sensorineural Hearing Loss
Sensorineural hearing loss occurs when the inner ear or the nerves that connect the ear to the brain are damaged. This type of hearing loss is often caused by exposure to loud noises, infections, or sudden changes in pressure. In some cases, it can happen suddenly, leaving patients with partial or complete hearing loss in one ear. Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy can help improve the condition by increasing oxygen flow to the damaged areas in the ear, promoting healing of the nerve cells and tissues. While not all patients will regain their full hearing, early treatment with a Hyperbaric Chamber has been shown to restore some or all of the lost hearing in many cases. The therapy is most effective when started soon after the hearing loss occurs, making it a valuable option for those experiencing sudden sensorineural hearing loss. Patients in need of this treatment can find options for Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy available in Mumbai to assist in their recovery.
6. Sudden Cardiac Arrest (Post-Recovery)
Sudden cardiac arrest is a life-threatening event where the heart suddenly stops beating. If a person survives this event, the recovery process can be long and difficult. One of the main concerns after sudden cardiac arrest is the damage caused by a lack of oxygen to the brain and other organs. Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy can help by providing extra oxygen to the body, which helps repair damaged tissues and improves recovery outcomes. The therapy also helps reduce inflammation and promotes the growth of new blood vessels, which can be particularly beneficial for the brain and heart. For survivors of sudden cardiac arrest, a Hyperbaric Chamber can improve the overall recovery process, helping patients regain strength, brain function, and quality of life after such a traumatic event. It’s a helpful addition to the rehabilitation process, with facilities offering therapy available in Mumbai for those in need.
Tumblr media
7. Acute Pancreatitis
Acute pancreatitis is a condition where the pancreas becomes inflamed, causing severe pain and digestive issues. In serious cases, the pancreas can become damaged due to a lack of oxygen reaching the tissues. This is where a Hyperbaric Chamber comes into play. By increasing the amount of oxygen in the blood, Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy helps reduce inflammation in the pancreas and promotes faster healing of the affected tissues. This therapy is particularly helpful in preventing further damage and improving the chances of a full recovery. Patients who receive this treatment often experience reduced pain and swelling, allowing them to recover more comfortably and avoid complications. For those suffering from acute pancreatitis, HBOT can be a valuable part of their treatment plan, helping to restore normal pancreatic function and improve overall health. You can find clinics throughout Mumbai that specialize in this therapy to assist in managing this condition.
Conclusion
A Hyperbaric Chamber offers a wide range of healing benefits for serious injuries and conditions, from post-surgical recovery to life-threatening situations like cardiac arrest and crush injuries. By delivering extra oxygen to damaged tissues, Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy helps speed up healing, reduce pain, and improve recovery outcomes. It’s a powerful tool that can help patients facing difficult health challenges recover faster and with fewer complications. If you or someone you know is struggling with one of these conditions, talk to your doctor about whether a Hyperbaric Chamber could be part of the solution. Don’t hesitate to explore options for Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy in Mumbai to support your recovery journey.

How Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Enhances Healing: Expert Opinions from Hyderabad
Tumblr media
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) is a groundbreaking treatment modality that has shown remarkable efficacy in enhancing healing and improving overall health outcomes. In Hyderabad, where medical innovation is rapidly advancing, HBOT is gaining prominence as a versatile and effective therapy. This blog delves into the science behind HBOT, its healing benefits, and insights from experts in Hyderabad, highlighting the best hyperbaric oxygen therapy centres in the city.
The Science Behind Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy
Best Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Centres in Hyderabad involves placing patients in a specialized chamber where they breathe 100% oxygen at pressures higher than atmospheric pressure. This process significantly increases the amount of oxygen dissolved in the blood, promoting the healing of tissues and fighting infections more effectively. The therapy leverages the body's natural healing processes, amplified by the enhanced oxygen supply, to treat various conditions.
Healing Benefits of Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy
Accelerated Wound Healing: HBOT boosts the body’s natural healing processes by enhancing oxygen delivery to damaged tissues, making it highly effective for chronic wounds, diabetic foot ulcers, and surgical wounds.
Reduced Inflammation: The anti-inflammatory properties of HBOT help reduce swelling and pain associated with conditions such as arthritis, inflammatory bowel disease, and soft tissue injuries.
Enhanced Immune Function: By increasing oxygen levels in the blood, HBOT improves the efficacy of white blood cells in fighting infections, thus bolstering the immune system.
Improved Cognitive Function: HBOT has been shown to support brain health by increasing oxygen supply to the brain, aiding in recovery from strokes, traumatic brain injuries, and neurodegenerative diseases like Alzheimer’s.

What is the importance of hyperbaric medicine?
Tumblr media
Hyperbaric medicine is a branch of medicine that uses high-pressure oxygen chambers to treat a variety of illnesses. The value of hyperbaric medicine resides in its capacity to quicken the healing of a variety of illnesses, including decompression sickness, carbon monoxide poisoning, and wounds.
The capacity of hyperbaric therapy to speed up wound healing is one of its main advantages. Hyperbaric treatment can increase the quantity of oxygen given to tissues and encourage the creation of new blood vessels by subjecting the body to high-pressure oxygen. For this therapy, a special chamber is used where the air pressure is 1.5 to 3 times higher than usual, allowing a person to breathe only pure oxygen. The objective is to provide the blood with adequate oxygen to heal tissues and return the body to its natural state. This improved oxygenation can aid in hastening the healing of a number of wounds, including those brought on by radiation, surgery, and burns.
Carbon monoxide poisoning can be effectively treated using hyperbaric treatment. A poisonous gas called carbon monoxide binds to hemoglobin in the blood, preventing oxygen from reaching the body's tissues. By increasing the quantity of oxygen available to tissues and removing carbon monoxide from the body, hyperbaric therapy can help avoid long-term brain damage and other consequences.
The treatment of decompression sickness is a significant additional use of hyperbaric medicine. This ailment, commonly referred to as "the bends," happens when nitrogen bubbles develop in the blood and tissues as a result of abrupt pressure shifts, like those experienced by scuba divers. By reducing the size of these bubbles and increasing the oxygen available to tissues, hyperbaric therapy can help treat symptoms and avoid long-term consequences.
Other medical diseases like traumatic brain injury, stroke, and multiple sclerosis are among the ailments that hyperbaric medicine may be able to cure. It is still used today to treat people suffering from carbon monoxide poisoning, such as firefighters and miners. Additionally, it has received approval for more than a dozen ailments, from bone disease to burns, including:
poisoning by carbon monoxide
Crush wounds
Cyanide toxicity
A type of gangrene known as "gas gangrene" occurs when gas builds up in tissues.
a sudden or traumatic reduction in artery blood flow
Decompression sickness
Insecure skin flaps and grafts
damage from delayed radiation
Osteomyelitis is an infection of the bone that is unresponsive to other treatments.
(Air or gas embolism) A blood vessel that has a trapped air or gas bubble
Necrotizing soft tissue infection, often known as flesh-eating disease
Diabetes lesions that are not adequately healing.
A persistent infection known as actinomycosis
While more studies are required to determine whether hyperbaric therapy is effective for these conditions, preliminary findings are encouraging.
Hyperbaric medicine offers therapeutic advantages in addition to being reasonably safe and non-invasive. While there are some potential side effects of hyperbaric therapy, such as ear and sinus pain, these side effects are usually minor and manageable with the right precautions.
Hyperbaric medicine is significant because it may accelerate healing and enhance results in a range of medical disorders. It is conceivable that as hyperbaric therapy research advances, we will find even more applications for this ground-breaking therapy.

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy for Wound Healing: Benefits, Risks, and Effectiveness
Tumblr media
Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) is a medical treatment that involves breathing pure oxygen in a pressurized chamber. Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) is a non-invasive medical treatment that uses pure oxygen at high pressure to promote wound healing. It has been gaining popularity in recent years as a safe and effective way to treat a wide range of conditions.
At Aadicura Superspeciality Hospital, which is considered as one of the best superspeciality hospital in Vadodara, we are proud to bring this advanced technology to our city, which can treat a wide range of serious conditions, including radiation injuries, non-healing wounds like diabetic foot ulcers, infections that destroy tissue in the skin or bone, burns, crushing injuries, at-risk skin grafts or flaps, brain abscesses, carbon monoxide poisoning, arterial gas embolism, decompression sickness, and many more.
The team at Aadicura Superspeciality Hospital is composed of highly trained medical professionals and some of the best vascular surgeons in Vadodara.
How does HBOT work?
Hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT) involves breathing pure oxygen while inside a pressurized chamber. The purpose of this therapy is to increase the amount of oxygen that is delivered to the body’s tissues, which can promote healing and improve various medical conditions.
During a hyperbaric oxygen therapy session, the patient enters a chamber that is pressurized to a level higher than the normal atmospheric pressure. This pressure forces more oxygen into the patient’s blood plasma, allowing it to reach areas of the body that may have low oxygen levels due to injury or disease.
The high levels of oxygen in the body promote the growth of new blood vessels, stimulate the release of growth factors, and enhance the body’s natural healing processes. Additionally, the increased oxygen levels can help to reduce inflammation and swelling, which can improve the symptoms of many medical conditions.
Which conditions can be treated by HBOT?
Many Endovascular Hospitals in Vadodara use HBOT to treat a variety of conditions, including:
● Carbon monoxide poisoning
● Decompression sickness
● Non-healing wounds, such as diabetic foot ulcers
● Radiation injury
● Skin flaps and grafts that failed
● Gangrene
● Necrotizing soft tissue infections (which happen when the majority or all of the cells in a specific area of the body die from illness, trauma, or a lack of blood flow)
● Osteomyelitis (a bone infection and/or inflammatory condition)
● tissue damage brought on by radiation
● extreme burns
● Traumatic ischemia (a condition wherein only a portion of the body receives blood flow)
and many more.
The therapy is typically administered in a series of sessions, and the number of sessions required will depend on the individual patient and their specific condition.
Benefits of HBOT
There are several benefits to using HBOT for wound healing:
It can significantly speed up the healing process, reducing the time it takes for wounds to close and heal.
It can reduce the risk of infection by promoting the growth of healthy tissue and killing harmful bacteria.
It can help to reduce pain and discomfort associated with chronic wounds, promoting better mobility, thus improving the patient’s quality of life.
It increases blood flow.
Reduces swelling and inflammation
It enhances the body’s defences against free radicals, which can accumulate in cells and harm them.
It encourages the development of fresh blood vessels.
Are there any risks involved in treatment through HBOT?
As with any medical treatment, there are some risks associated with HBOT. The most common side-effects include ear pain, sinus pain, and/or changes in vision. These side effects are usually mild and temporary. It is not necessary that all patients undergoing HBOT experience these symptoms.
In rare cases, more serious complications such as lung damage or seizures can occur due to oxygen toxicity. It is important to discuss the risks and benefits of HBOT with a qualified healthcare professional before undergoing treatment.
How Does HBOT Work for Wound Healing?
HBOT works by increasing the amount of oxygen in the body, which helps to promote healing. When the body receives more oxygen, it can enhance its natural healing abilities and stimulate the growth of new blood vessels, allowing for better circulation to the affected area.
Effectiveness of HBOT for Wound Healing
HBOT has been shown to be effective for wound healing in numerous studies. HBOT significantly improves the healing rate of chronic wounds when used in combination with other standard wound care treatments.
HBOT can be an effective treatment for a wide range of conditions, particularly those that are difficult to heal using traditional therapies. Our team of one of the best vascular surgeons in Vadodara have treated conditions such as diabetic foot ulcers, failed grafts, burn injury cases and many more using HBOT, with most patients experiencing complete healing within six weeks of treatment.
Are the Benefits of HBOT Permanent?
The benefits of HBOT are not necessarily permanent, as wound healing can be affected by various factors such as underlying health conditions, lifestyle choices, and environmental factors. However, with proper wound care and management, the effects of HBOT can be long-lasting.
How Many HBOT Sessions are Needed?
The number of HBOT sessions needed for wound healing can vary depending on the severity of the wound and the individual patient. Typically, patients receive between 10–30 HBOT sessions, each lasting between 60–90 minutes. It is important to note that HBOT should be performed under the supervision of a trained medical professional.
Conclusion:
HBOT promotes healing by helping grow new skin along with forming new blood vessels and their connective tissues. Along with being highly effective and safe, it can also significantly improve the healing rate of chronic wounds and promote better overall quality of life for patients. If you are considering undergoing HBOT for wound healing, be sure to discuss the risks and benefits at Aadicura Multispeciality Hospital which is considered one of the best vascular surgery hospitals in Vadodara.

'Kenobi' if I had written it would apparently be Vader rage collapsing from hunger and Ben nursing him back to health in his hut on Tatooine
I was looking through old files on my computer and I found this doc called Desert HC (yes that stands for hurt/comfort) from 2015 that I'm 90% sure I wrote to amuse @darth--nickels while on the clock at my day job I hated
Cut for being self-indulgent unedited trash from 7 years ago, behold, my version of KENOBI, you're welcome Disney writers, feel free to poach from this for S2
Rage—that was all he felt, all he was. Rage personified. He knew only destruction, the desire to hurt, to kill—to maim, as he had been maimed.
Obi-Wan Kenobi stepped back, face lined, expression grim. He held his lightsaber aloft— Vader lunged, his anger propelling him forward—except...something was wrong.
Mid-leap all his strength left him—the Force deserted him, his head swam, he clutched at his chest. He was—this was the end. It had to be. At long last he was going to...right on the cusp of vengeance he would...
He gripped his head, and as it swam, in and out of consciousness, the last thing he saw was Obi-Wan's face—mouthing something he heard, faintly, and only dimly recognized. A word...an appellation from another life.
"Anakin!"
Then the world went black.
***
The first thing he was aware of when he awoke was the foreign pressure beneath his back and legs—hard, but with some give. The exposed place on his arm where flesh met prosthetic (had someone dared to remove pieces of his armor?) touched something...soft. Not the synthleather that was the only non-metal material he ever felt, but a rough, woven cloth.
He was lying on a bed, he realized. Stripped of half his armor, laid bare, exposed...and something else was missing. Some...some vital piece.
Realization of the absence of weight on his head dawned, and Vader's eyes flew open wildly. Immediately they fell upon it—his helmet. The mask he always wore, that sustained his life and sowed fear in the hearts of all in the galaxy who laid eyes upon it—
Sitting on a table next to this bed.
On instinct, he tried to raise his hands to his bare face—to cover it? To feel the scars, prove to himself he was alive, that this had happened? His arms were like lead, both sluggish and heavily restrained. Panicked, he began to struggle, thrashing about—hecouldn't allow himself to draw breath, he must be close to suffocating without the protection of the hyperbaric chamber—
"You're going to faint again if you don't breathe, you know."
At the sound of the voice, Vader let out a shocked gasp—when his artificial lungs necessitated he draw in a shuddering breath he was amazed to find—he could. Buoyed by this realization, he sucked in another breath, and another. Without the regulator on his mask, however, Vader felt his heart rate spike—and the panic returned.
"Slowly now—easy," the voice spoke again, firmly. "Breathe slowly."
His head was still a foggy mess, only dimly aware of even what planet he was on—but he obeyed. Something in the soft, Coruscanti-accented voice demanded it. Gradually, his breathing returned to normal. His muscles relaxed again.
The world swam into view—and that was when he saw the source of his salvation, the clear plastasteel oxygen mask that covered the lower part of his face. That was how he was able to breath. It was a crude apparatus, hooked from to an oxygen tank he could now see on the bedside table next to his helmet, only a foot or two away from where he lay prone.
He was alive—and he’d been saved.
“Master...?" Vader murmured, trying hard to focus his eyes. It had been so long sense he’d had to focus them on anything outside his meditation chamber. And who else could it be who would know where he was, understand that he’d been in danger?
There was a long pause. "...Once upon a time, yes."
Obi-Wan.
Now he remembered where he was. He recognized the sandstone building material, the utilitarian metal crates, even the geometric patterns on the threadbare carpet on the floor. Tatooine.
Obi-Wan had been hiding on Tatooine.
The anger he had felt when he had discovered this, white-hot at the touch, returned to him.
"If you don't control your emotions, Anakin, you're going to short out that suit again," the voice said—no, scolded. "I only got it functioning again a short time ago. I don't want to put you under again, but if you can't keep yourself from destroying everything in sight, I'm not going to have much of a choice."
It could just as easily have been a slap in the face. Indignant disbelief tempered his rage and left him sputtering like a fish.
The Jedi Master, hair now more gray than auburn, kneeled at the side of the bed and pulled something from the folds of his robes. The sharp prick on the flesh of his right arm made Vader hiss with surprise.
"What...is that?" His throat was as dry as the baking sand he knew lay all around them.
"An antibiotic," Obi-Wan answered, softly, as he pushed in the syringe. "Do you remember what happened?"
"I...remember." Kenobi stood up again. "I came to Tatooine to...kill you."
"Yes." The Jedi's mouth twisted into a wry half-smile. "You didn't get very far."
"Why did you remove my helmet?" Vader barked, ignoring the quip. He had never been without it outside his hyperbaric chamber for this long, and those benevolent, hateful eyes resting on him now made him feel...vulnerable.
Obi-Wan raised an eyebrow.
"I had to. You were dangerously dehydrated; if I didn't get some water into your system you would have...” the Jedi trailed off.
Vader snorted in disbelief. "You saved my life?"
"Does that surprise you?" Obi-Wan's smile turned sad. "Did you think I would leave you out there to die?"
"Of course." You did once before. The Jedi master paled.
"I suppose I deserve that." He watched as Vader attempted to move his legs, arms (again) then his head. He was restrained—but not with Force-blocking cuffs. Obi-Wan didn’t need them, he knew. He was weak—practically powerless.
He hated it.
“What is wrong with...what has happened?”
“You were so angry you had a fit,” Obi-Wan said, gentleness turning into sarcasm. Vader made a noise in the back of his throat like an angry Lothcat. “Something in the mechanics of your suit failed—I believe the respirator is broken, though not beyond repair. After you collapsed I—got you back to my home.” He didn’t try to explain to Vader how he’d managed to carry the gigantic Sith—for which he was grateful. “You also did irreparable damage to the...food dispensary function. I’m afraid it needs to be completely replaced.”
Vader furrowed his brow, still too tired to focus on anything about his predicament but the bare facts.
“That makes no—that is unacceptable. I cannot—do not eat or drink as you do.” Something Kenobi had said earlier touched a nerve. “If you didn't replenish the nutrient packs, how did you administer the water?"
Obi-Wan’s small smile returned. He held up a metal canister with a rubber neck— suspiciously like the kind he had seen used on infants in the Jedi Temple.
"I had a baby eopie wander by my place last year. A krayt dragon had gotten the mother...I cared for her child for a season. This was what I nursed her with." Realization dawned on Vader's face—which gave way to stark horror.
"You...you dare—"
“Isn’t it amazing the degradations one’s body will submit itself to when it's desperate?”
Obi-Wan shook the bottle, smiling. “Still thirsty? There’s some left.”
“No, I am not still thirsty,” Vader hissed, incensed—though his throat was dry and papery. “I will not—I would never—“
“Oh, I assure, you did.” Obi-Wan set it down next to the oxygen tank gently. “You were craving it. Your body hadn’t had anything to eat or drink for days before you even arrived on Tatooine. Frankly, I’m astounded you lasted as long as you did in the desert, searching for me.”
The chastising tone he heard in the old man’s voice must’ve been a product of sunstroke, Vader thought. Though...he considered. The Sith had been due for his weekly maintenance check right before he found out where Obi-Wan had been hiding for all these years. After learning that...he had not slept, he had had no time for maintenance... his anger called him here, to this moment.
He tried and failed to lift his head again.
His anger was failing him in this moment, actually.
“Give me back my helmet, Obi-Wan,” he ordered, autocratically. Obi-Wan crossed his arms and considered him.
“I can’t do that, Anakin,” the Jedi Master replied, coolly.
“Do not call me by that—“ he sputtered. “Why not?”
“Well, firstly,” Obi-Wan sat on the foot of the bed, appallingly close to his former apprentice’s feet. Vader let out a weak growl he ignored. “I must confess to self-interest. I think you far less likely to attempt to kill me without it on.” In spite of his anger, the Sith could see the logic in his former master’s strategy. He made a soft tech sound through his teeth but did not reply. “And secondly...”
Kenobi pulled a bowl of some steaming liquid up from a tray on the floor. “You need to eat something.”
"Speak plainly, old man. What is that?" Vader eyed the bowl of broth Obi-Wan was stirring with the utmost suspicion. Once more he tried to move his head—the effort made his head spin. "And what have you done to me?"
"I haven't done anything to you." As if by second nature, the Jedi smoothed the covers on the blanket he—he had put a blanket around Vader's legs—he—how dare he. “That pounding in your head is your own doing—what can you expect, when you’ve half- starved yourself?” He held the bowl of soup up. “And I couldn't feed you in your sleep, much as I would have preferred it."
As Obi-Wan tapped the wooden spoon against the bowl, the exact implications of what his former master was saying clicked in Vader's brain.
"I'm not taking any food of yours," he spat—the intended viciousness muffled by the breathing mask. “Much less from you directly.”
“I don’t recall giving you a choice.” Obi-Wan replied, grimly. "How else do you expect to recover? There is no one else for miles—not even the Jawa caravan is due for another month." The ghost of a smile hovered on his lips.
"The...the Empire will come for me, Obi-Wan," Vader slurred, all tepid defiance. His attempts to draw on his anger to give himself focus were only making the Sith Lord dizzier. "It is only a matter of time—"
"Is it?" Kenobi asked, his voiced laced with that delicate condescension he remembered so well. Vader clenched his jaw. "The speeder you rode in on isn't Imperial issue—it looks like something you commandeered in Mos Eisley. There's no Star Destroyer encircling the planet—no reports, from what I can tell, of any Imperial interest in Tatooine at all." Vader silently glowered. "I'm not convinced anyone in the Empire even knows you're here."
"You cannot know that for certain—"
"But I know you," he cut him off, archly. "You tearing half-way across the galaxy without telling anyone where you were going strikes me as very likely." He stroked his beard. "How off the mark am I?"
“You—you aren’t—" Vader felt his pale face flush with embarrassment. “You know nothing."
Obi-Wan shook his head in disbelief.
"So reckless and impulsive," Obi-Wan scooted up the bed, so he was level with the irascible Sith. "I always told you it would cost you one day—in this case, Lord Vader..." He reached his hand over, and, to Vader's amazement, actually cradled his former apprentice's head in one hand, lifting it up for him. "It's left you in my power."
"What...what do you think you're doing?" he exclaimed. The warmth of Kenobi's callused hand seemed to burn him.
"I'm giving you lunch," Obi-Wan explained, slowly, as though to a child—or a mental deficient. When the Jedi reached for the oxygen mask, as if to unhook it, Vader's anger gave way to fear.
"You cannot take that off!" he exclaimed, with a note of hysteria. “I—I won't be able to —"
"It's only for a moment," Obi-Wan told him, gently. "I'll give you a spoonful, then I'll put the mask back on. It will be—"
"Utter humiliation," Vader growled, glaring at the spoon as though the depths of his loathing alone could set the thing on fire. "I refuse."
"Anakin," The patience in Obi-Wan's voice gave way. He pointed the spoon directly in front of Vader's face, more like a weapon than an eating utensil. "You are acting like a child. Open your mouth."
"No!" The vein popping out in Kenobi's forehead gave him a kind of petulant pleasure, so he clamped his mouth shut. The aggravated sigh of frustration Obi-Wan let out also pleased him immensely. ‘
The Jedi’s eyes narrowed sternly.
"Fine, Anakin. If it's games you want to play—"
Before he understood what was happening, Obi-Wan had snatched the mask off of him. The Jedi Master held it in the air, more than an arm's length from Vader, with a look of triumphant patience plastered all over his smug face.
Vader's eyes widened in horror—but he curled both his lips under, stubbornly, and glared at Kenobi. Obi-Wan returned the look, something steely behind his eyes. The Sith's gaze flicked between the utensil full of food hovering inches in front of his mouth, to the oxygen mask, so far out of reach. Obi-Wan was...he really wasn't going to bring it back to his face—
His lungs screamed for air, and when he could bear it no more, Vader reflexively wrenched his mouth open. Just as quickly Obi-Wan had shoved the hot soup in and resecured his breathing apparatus. Before he could think to spit it out—his head was swimming from lack of air—he had swallowed the tangy broth and was gasping for breath.
"I trust we won't have to repeat that little exercise in obstinance?"
"You...you..." Vader wheezed in and out a few times, before getting himself under control again. "You almost killed me!"
"You're the starving man who won't take food that's freely offered." Obi-Wan's clear blue eyes flickered with concern as he watched Vader sputter and attempt to normalize his airways again. "And, really—first you're suspicious of me saving you, now you accuse me of attempted murder?" He quirked his eyebrow again. "It seems I can't win."
"I'm going to make you pay for this, Obi-Wan," he croaked, weakly. "You'll...see."
“I’m sure...but before that, you'll need your strength." Gently, he lifted Vader's head once more. “So, shall we try this again?"
The two stared at each other for a long time—Obi-Wan's expression dared Vader to disagree. At long last the Sith—blue eyes still flashing with displeasure—opened his mouth a fraction of an inch.
"Very good." The Jedi gave the back of his neck a comforting squeeze. At the touch Vader jumped—something uncomfortable in the pit of his stomach squirmed. "Now, another bite—and then a breath."
The spoon hovered by Vader's face again—pulling a face, he accepted the bite of tangy, vegetable soup, followed by 5 seconds of the breath mask. Bite, mask, bite, mask. Methodically, Obi-Wan made his way through the arduous process of feeding his former padawan a bowl of restorative broth.
At least, Vader thought, he has the sense to remain silent.
"How does it taste?" Obi-Wan asked, softly.
Or not.
Vader let out an indistinct grunt.
"It's fine." The older Jedi frowned.
"Just 'fine'?"
"Yes, 'just fine,'" Vader groused, snappishly. "What do you want from me, Obi-Wan, an elegy dedicated to your cooking?"
"Only if it's not an original work.” Obi-Wan clucked his tongue and frowned. “A little gratefulness wouldn’t do amiss. There’s certainly no one else in the galaxy who’d be willing to hand feed you a home-cooked meal. It’s akin to sticking one’s head in a Sarlaac Pit.”
“You—stop—“ Now Kenobi was covering his mouth—he was laughing at him. "There is nothing funny about this—or you, Obi-Wan!”
"Maybe once you get some food in you, you'll appreciate the humor of our situation." He shoveled more soup in Vader's mouth before the inevitable reply. "Or after you get some more rest—”
"Don't speak to me like I'm a child!" he snapped, waspishly. "I'm a Sith Lo-” Obi-Wan shoved the next spoonful in his mouth with more force than was strictly necessary.
“Forgive me, Anakin—” His face softened, almost imperceptibly. “But you’re acting far more like the stubborn little boy who I first knew than any Sith.”
“I told you not to call me—” His complaint was drowned out by a gargle—Vader had managed to dribble broth all over his chin. Faster than he could protest, Kenobi had a cloth out and was mopping it up. “—that.”
“There.” Ignoring him, he set the now-empty bowl down next to Vader’s mask. “Better?”
“...I...suppose so,” he admitted, grouchily. It was disconcerting to see how relieved the man he’d come to kill looked. “What are you planning on doing with me, Obi-Wan?”
Obi-Wan’s face was bent over the oxygen tank, fiddling with it, so Vader couldn’t see the pang in his eyes at the question. All he heard was the forced unconcern in his old master’s voice.
“I haven’t decided yet—I don’t think I can just set you free like the eopie calf. For one thing, you need more attention than she did.”
“That is not an answer, old man.” Vader fidgeted nervously as Obi-Wan set his uncovered head gently back on the pillow. “I suppose you’ll...turn me over to the rebels as soon as you can get word to them.”
“You’re more skittish than she was, too.” Obi-Wan straightened up and got off the bed, a no-nonsense mask firmly back in place. “Get some rest. I’ll be right here when you wake up, I’m sure.”
“I don’t want to get some—” Immediately Vader felt something change in the air being filtered in the tank—now a light dose of sleep gas was mixed in. Normally his metabolism would be well-equipped to fight it, but in his current condition...
“You’re...” His eyelids flickered shut. “You’re...”
“Doing this for your own good,” Obi-Wan murmured, so softly Vader thought he must’ve imagined it. “Sleep well, Anakin...”
I will get you for this, Obi-Wan, was his last conscious thought—just as the rough blanket was being draped over his exposed torso. You will suffer.
