Summary: Isobel Flemming and John Gilbert didn't have one baby; no, they had two. Sofia Gilbert and Elena Gilbert. But Isobel and John only wanted one daughter, so they gave Sofia to Alaric Saltzman; her new identity is Sofia Saltzman. What happens when she finds out about the supernatural world?

Sofia Saltzman was walking home from getting groceries for her and her father. Getting distracted by nature itself. Grabbing her phone from her small white purse, she looked at the time, and her eyes widen. "Oh, daises! I'm late." Putting her phone back in her purse, she picked up the pace. About five minutes of speed walking, she made it home. Sighing, she walked into the apartment buildings and climbed the stairs well to get to her floor.

She got to her floor, opened the door from inside the stairwell, and walked down the little hallway. She got to the apartment door, grabbed the keys, and unlocked the door. Opening it, she walked in and gasped in horror and fear. Blood was over the floor, in little puddles. Peaking around, she saw a man with brown hair and green eyes looking up at her in panic. "ELENA RUN!" Sofia turned around only to gasp.

A man was standing behind Sofia. He had blondish hair and blue eyes that she could stare into forever. He grabbed her by the throat and pinned her against the wall. Gasping for air, she scratched at his hand while whimpering. "I just killed you; how are you alive?" Sofia looked at him with fear in her eyes. Then he threw her into a girl. Gasping, her hand moved to her neck to try and relive the pain, but it didn't work.

She felt a hand push her to the floor. Whimpering in fear and pain, she was feeling very confused. Who are these people, and what are they doing in her house? Looking up, she saw the man with green eyes staring at her with fear and disappointment. "W-who are y-you people?" Sofia questioned, and the man with blue eyes chuckled. "Do you really think I'm going to fall for that, Elena?" In a blink of an eye, the man was in front of Sofia. She flinched and whimpered very quietly.

When he was going to choke her again, she yelled out. "Who's Elena?!" The man stopped and stared at her, just staring at her, thinking she was trying to get out of the situation. Before he could say anything else, she spoke up. "M-my n-name is S-Sofia Saltzman; p-please d-don't h-hurt me." The man just looked at her with amusement. Then, he got up and raised his hand for her to grab. Slowly, she grabbed his hand, and he helped her up.

When standing up, he grabbed her shoulders and looked her in the eyes. "What is your real name, love?" Sofia spoke in a moderate voice. "My name is Sofia Satlzman." Backing up in shock, he looked at the man with green eyes, only for him to be looking at Sofia in shock. He looked back at Sofia and smiled, then everything went black for Sofia.

Jacob didn’t have as much to pack as I did Klaus and he decided to help load the car while I finished packing things up. I had already said my goodbyes to Caroline, Bonnie, Stefan and surprisingly Damon at certain times since we’ve met. Shutting one of the bags that had some of my clothes inside I heard the door open and close. “I’m almost packed, Klaus. We should be leaving in an hour.”

“Blonde hair, blue eyed and a witch. Never would have thought that the ruthless hybrid Niklaus Mikaelson would ever let himself fall in love.” Whipping my head around I heard a woman's voice seeing a girl with brown hair like Elena.

Raising myself back to stand upright I brushed my hands down my shirt with a tilting of my head. “Elena….Wait that’s not right.”

“Hmm you’re smarter than the others aren’t you. I’m Katherine Pierce.” The woman walked towards me and down the short set of stairs. Her hair was curled compared to Elena’s that was always straightened and she wore almond all black clothing.

Meeting her brown eyes I took a few steps backwards from her. “What are you doing here, Katherine? I’m told you ran from my boyfriend for 500 years.”

“Yes, all because he wanted me to break his werewolf curse. Thankfully Elena Gilbert managed to take care of that for me. But what I want to know is what exactly made someone like Klaus fall for you?” The 500 year old vampire smiled.

Crossing my arms over my chest I just let myself think for a moment before answering her question. “I don’t see him the way everyone else does. He’s never been a monster to me.”

“Awe sweet witch you really have been fooled by that charm of his haven’t you. I used to be just like you when I first met him. I let myself be won by his charm until I learned that he wished to kill me so I saw no other choice but to run.” Katherine shakes her head, dropping her arms down away from her sides.

Biting my lip I mumbled to the vampire in front of me. “What exactly do you know about Klaus Mikaelson that you think I don’t already know about?”

“I have a letter for him about something interesting in New Orleans and I’ve heard you're already heading there so I’ll deliver it to you.” Katherine reached into her pocket holding out a sealed white envelope. “Klaus won’t be to walk away from this. He and I are the same. We manipulate, we thirst for power, we control, we punish. But our actions are driven by one singular place deep inside.”

Taking the letter from her hand I questioned. “What do you mean?”

“We’re alone and we hate it.” She finally admitted turning on her heels and about to leave the mansion until she halted in her tracks glancing over her shoulder at me. “Let me give you some advice, blonde witch. Since you are giving your heart to Klaus you should know that you need to be one step ahead of his enemies.”

Smirking at her I straightened my back not afraid of the vampire in front of me knowing I could take her easily. “I’m not afraid of his enemies. I can take them justice like I could you. But I appreciate the advice.”

“Well you better remember it, blonde witch.” She vamped out of the mansion with one final word. Eyeing the letter in my hands I opened the envelope reading the name Sofia Deveror that was a witch knowing whatever she had to tell us would be interesting for sure.

Twisting one of the pieces of the Ascendent I was sitting on the ground in the large room in front of the fireplace lost in thought. I had my hair put up in a bun so it wasn’t in my face. Footsteps entered the room with Klaus lowering himself down on his knees before me. “Raelyn, you don’t have to go back there if you don’t want to. Jacob and I can do this on our own.”

“No way, Klaus. I am not sitting on the sidelines when it comes to fighting my psychopath cousin.” Snapping my head upwards I sat the device down on the wooden floor.

He tilted his head to the side. “Raelyn, I almost lost you to that man. I don’t want that to be a reality again.”

“I’m a freaking heretic, Nik. I am strong enough to fight Kai Parker. And he is attacking my family here. I won’t let him hurt anyone else that I care about after what he did to Josette.” Throwing my hands up in the air I huffed sniffing through some frustrated tears.

He reached forward placing a hand on my cheek and I leaned into his touch. “I understand that, Rae. But this is a big risk even for someone as powerful as you.”

“Don’t worry dad. This family is known for being powerful and kicking ass.” The pair turned their heads around at the voice that entered the room. We saw our middle daughter standing in the doorway, arms over her chest. “Vampire hearing is freaking awesome.”

Raising myself to my stand Klaus followed after me when I shook my head no at the thought. “Missy, you can’t come.”

“And why not?” Alina’s voice entered the room with her and Hope coming around the corner hearing our conversation apparently.

Klaus turned his head letting me answer the question since he knew I wasn’t backing down even though that’s what he wished I would do. “Girls, I know that you want to help us rescue the Saltzman’s but it's too dangerous.”

“How so. You know we are three badass witches.” Hope snapped, crossing her arms.

Throwing my head back I kicked the floor with my boot. “I’m aware but you don’t know Kai Parker. He murdered his entire family without a care. He has no rumouce for the things that he’s done. We can’t risk any of you getting hurt-“

“If you’re worried about us dying I’m already a heretic mom.” Missy rolled her eyes.

Klaus finally entered the conversation. “Melissa, you listen to your mother now. You might not be able to die again but that doesn’t leave Hope and Alina out of the chance.”

“Is this really happening just because I’m pregnant?” Alina snapped at her father, flashing her werewolf eyes when one of her hands rested on her stomach. “When did becoming pregnant be a bad thing in this family?”

Running my fingers through my hair I stepped towards her. “Urgh! Alina, that's not the reason. But it does put you more at risk.”

“We beat Aurora and Uncle Joshua, what’s stopping us from doing the same with Kai!” Hope raised her voice.

Stepping towards our daughters I held out my hands sighing heavily knowing what needed to be done since they refuse to listen to our judgment. “Girls, look I know that you want to help. But we’re your parents and we are always going to worry about your safety. So take my hands and just this once I’ll let you help us out.”

“Raelyn.” Klaus warned me.

Ignoring his worries I knew what I was doing with our kids even though they’d not like me later when this was said and done yet I refused to lose my children to Kai like I lost Josette. “Kids, I know that you will always fight for this family. Take my hands…and remember that is a great thing to do…just not today.” Hope, Alina and Missy all made me a confused look with our hands all on top of one another.

“Mom, what are you doing-“ Hope questioned

Shutting my eyes I released a breath hearing the triplets wince when I siphoned from them even though I didn’t need to. Klaus watched our hands turn red before I felt their grips slip from mine and their bodies hit the wooden floor. “Ad somnum corposris impetus…I’m sorry girls.”

“Rae, you know they’ll hate you for that.” Klaus came over to me eyeing our three daughters passed out on the wooden floor in the living room.

Spinning on my feet I snatched the Ascendant from the floor then reached into my pocket holding a vial of Bonnie’s blood. “It doesn’t matter. Kai would have killed them and we can both kick his ass better than he thinks we can. Now give me your hand…Phasmatos tribum, invocia cavea, misero mundi…” Klaus placed his hands in mine closely watching as I closed my eyes and chanted the spell. The Ascendant raised itself up in the air and I felt some wind blow around us until he saw a flash of light and our bodies collapsed onto the floor.

Rubbing my eyes I groaned glancing around the room recognizing the old Salvatore fireplace just like I left it. "Urgh…Hopefully we won't have to come to any more prison worlds." Klaus groaned, forcing himself to his feet and tugging me up to stand with him.

"We can both agree on that for sure. Now, let's see if we can find them." Snapping my fingers a map appears at my feet, raising my wrist up I bite down drawing an open wound. Allowing my blood to drop on the map. "Since the twins have Josette's blood I should be able to find them on my own…Ahsorum dolusantum infidictus."

Klaus watched from behind me sitting on my knees with the red blood traveling across the map in three different directions. "It appears that someone has split them apart. Josie is in the middle of a field. Elizabeth is in some countryside area and Alaric is running through the woods of this town. What the bloody hell are we supposed to do now?"

"We find Josie first. Then we find the others. It's as simple as that." Glancing over my shoulder I clasped my hand in his concentrating on her location, never actually doing a transfer spell with someone else like this. "Te ni rien a boka…Te ni rien a boka."

There was a rumbling of the ground before we looked around again and saw the field she was supposed to be in. Klaus tugged me behind a tree hearing someone coming our direction. "So, we need three things the apex of the celestial event that trapped me here, some Bennett blood, and the duplicate ascendant, which is the first thing I went looking for - when those burnouts woke me up."

"Oh you've got to be kidding me. I'm going to ring his neck if he hurts her!" I growled through a whisper.

Josie asked him. "Did you find it?"

"No answers for free. I assume you come carrying the Bennett blood." He shook hurt head until he saw she gave no reply back. "How is it possible that you came to a prison world without the one thing you need to escape it?"

"Well, it's not exactly like this trip was planned." She admitted.

Kai raised a brow. "Okay, so then what exactly are you bringing to this partnership? Because from where I stand, I'm the only one of us who is not useless."

"No answers for free. What's the celestial event?" Josie didn't answer him.

He shrugged his shoulders and started walking away from her. "That I actually don't know, but, uh there's only so many minutes in a day, so I'll figure it out."

'That's your plan? Process of elimination?" She gasped.

"Mm-hmm. I like a challenge. And to be honest, I've got nothing but time." He nodded before his gaze lifted up slightly over her head calling out to us somehow he knew. "Come on out, Rae Rae."

Klaus peaked his head around hands behind his back he walked up, not afraid with me at his side until we reached the pair. "Malachai Parker, what a pleasure it will be to see my wife mop the floor with your body again."

"Yeah but the thing is I'll come back to life, Nikky." He teased the hybrid.

Pushing in between the boys I shoved Josie behind me and away from her uncle. Flashing my fangs and the veins underneath my eyes. "You're never getting away from this world, Kai. Now what have you done with Alaric and Lizzie!"

"I didn't do anything. The only one who teamed up with me is Jonie here." He raised his index finger at her. "So my guess is they'll be dealing with the students Ricky sent here that woke me up. For once I'm not to blame if they're in danger."

Rolling my eyes I grabbed him by his neck, where he just chuckled. "Here’s what is going to happen, Kai. You hand over the Ascendant because I know you found it by now and take us to the source of Bennett blood. After that we will leave here and you will be desiccating just like you were!"

"Whatever you say, Rae Rae. You still have to find a celestial event and I don't give answers for free- " He smiled before I snapped his neck knowing he would come back to life anyway.

Josie walked up to me. "Aunt Raelyn, how are guys here?"

"That's a long story, Josie. But rest assured we have to come to get you and your family out of here." My husband explained realizing that we were stuck though. "Bloody hell, we're gonna have to wake him up to make him show us the blood supply."

"What are we getting from here exactly, psycho?" I questioned Kai holding a piece of broken wood against his back while be led us inside the hospital after he finally woke his ass back up.

"Information for information. Tell me more about this Malivore pit and those monsters you've been dealing with. And for the record, I never lost faith in Santa being real."

"Basically, Malivore is a pocket dimension, like this one. There is a portal into our world. We closed it, - but the monsters keep coming." Josie began explaining against my better judgment not too.

"Fascinating. Now, to answer your question, we're here because I spent years studying genealogical records while being hunted and killed for sport. I recently found someone who donated blood under the name Smithfield, which was her married name. Maiden name: Bennett. Bennett blood. Ta-da." Kai paused outside a hospital room showing the door said blood storage but when he opened the door there was a red headed vampire who had eaten all of it.

Waving my hand I locked the door, rolling my eyes at my cousin. "You have any brighter ideas!"

"Nope because that blood is gone." Kai shrugged his shoulders walking away from us.

Josie said quickly. "What if there was another way to get Bennett blood? Would you help me then?"

"Yeah, nice try at manipulation, but I'm not gonna believe anything you-" He trails off.

She revealed outside of her jacket a res vial. "It's Bonnie's from when we sent the Sandclock here."

He smiled at her. "I knew you were holding out on me."

She admitted holding it away from him. "I didn't know if I could trust you."

Kai reached for the vial before someone knocked me and Klaus on our backs and then I saw someone holding Kai against the wall. The girl had red orange hair and held a stake near his heart. "Oh, goodness…Oh, perfect timing, baby." He started laughing shortly after, pulling her close to him.

Klaus scrambled to his feet. "Josette, get out of here."

Josie started to run but Kai raised his hand up doing the freezing spell before I could stop him. "Immobilus."

"Urgh! Stay away from her." Vamping forward I almost grabbed him but the girl vampire grabbed me holding me by my throat against the wall. Klaus tried to snap her neck but Kai used his other hand and was faster snapping his neck instead.

Kai walked around Josie in a circle taking the vial of blood from her hand, smirking wickedly. "Hey, thanks for your help. Your instincts were right. There is no trusting me. So, while you've been playing checkers I've been playing chess. Checkmate."

"You won't get away with this!" I grunted, clawing at the girls wrist around my neck.

"You’re not really in a good position to make threats, siphon queen." Kai didn't seem concerned though where he vamped away. "Yeah, I guess I forgot to mention one thing about the whole Hunger Games I'm kinda into it. Keeps the monotony interesting. Once they woke me up, they quickly realized my superior leadership qualities. They're kind of like my followers, I guess you could say."

The vampire girl smirked at me. "Now what am I going to do with you?"

"You can…go to hell!" Digging my claws into her arms she winced harshly when I siphoned from her performing a desiccating spell on her. Her body turned gray and veins covered her body before she dropped me to the floor. I heard a crunch sound in my right Jean pocket.

Klaus was still passed out with Josie calling my name not being able to move from the spell. "Aunt Raelyn, what was that sound?"

"Uh…we're in trouble Josie." Reaching into my jacket I felt loose metal pieces of the Ascendent moving around. Dropping the broken bits at my feet I cursed under my breath. "We're screwed. Kai now has the only Ascendant to get us out of here."

katherine pierce was born as katerina petrova who had been running from the original hybrid for a long time. after giving giving birth to a baby girl deemed illegitimate and being separated from her, she was banished off to england where she met niklaus and elijah mikaelson. after finding out that klaus planned on using her as a sacrifice in order to break the curse that had been placed on him as she was the doppelganger of tatia petrova as a human, she sabotaged his plan by hanging herself and turning herself into a vampire. she also stole the moonstone, which klaus needed in order to break the curse and then ran away. after that, he slaughtered her family in bulgaria and she ran from him for over five centuries. in 1864, katherine met damon and stefan salvatore. their father had taken her into his home, not knowing that she was a vampire. both brothers promised to keep katherine’s true nature a secret and she’d planned to turn them so they could be together forever. when giuseppe salvatore found out that she was a vampire, he spiked the blood of his sons with vervain, knowing she’d feed off of them soon enough. the man captured her, bringing katherine to fell’s church which they planned to burn. though what they didn’t know was that there was a tomb underneath, preventing the vampires from death. before it got that far, she managed to escape while emily bennett let damon and stefan believe katherine was in the tomb. after they found out that she had never been in there, katherine stirred up a lot of chaos in mystic falls. she did save damon from dying of a werewolf bite, bringing him klaus’ blood. she was also in possession of the cure, but it somehow got into stiles stilinski’s system. now she's not able to use it on anyone else, even though she couldn't use it on klaus to begin with. she's not happy that her blood is the one thing needed to turn werewolves into hybrids. it had been elena gilbert before she died, but now that the human doppelganger has passed, katherine’s blood has reactivated.

kyle ancona (ex husband) → katherine was once married to kyle and considers it to be the biggest mistake of her life. she's now considering an alliance with gossip girl to get back on her queen bitch thronr, but not before swiping the cure from the founders council so she can shove it down kyle's throat...

damon salvatore (ex boyfriend) → katherine actually came to deliver the cure to damon when he was dying of a werewolf bite. while he might have thought that she was only ever in love with stefan, that's not at all true...

stefan salvatore (ex boyfriend) → katherine is on decent terms with stefan, though with elena being back as a dark huntress might complicate things.

niklaus mikaelson (enemy) → klaus has hunted katherine down for centuries, before she became a vampire and after she succeeded in taking the moonstone from him. she's still trying to find a way to deactivate her blood to get away from klaus - he'll keep seeking her out whenever he wants to make more hybrids.

The light source that brightens up the world everyday was currently resting on top of the bright green mountains, which overlooked the beautiful turquoise water that the residents of Italy knew as Lake Como that wraps around the small village of Lenno. The village was very well known for their gorgeous villas and their giant mountains. Tourists from all around the world would always stop by the small village to see everything they had ever read in brochures and on the internet. However, there was one place in Lenno that was off limits, unless of course there was a party being thrown by the owner, and that place was Villa del Balbianello.

Natalia Mikaelson was the very owner of the famous villa. She had bought it as soon as she spotted it on a trip when she was traveling the world in the late seventeen hundreds. She fell in love with the building as she did with the small village. It was the perfect place for her to settle. It was quiet, so there wouldn't be too many people. It was by the water, which she adored. But what Natalia loved the most about it was that it was less than two hours from Milan, the fashion capital of the world.

Natalia has lived there ever since she bought it. Of course, she wold take vacations to other countries when she got bored but she would always find herself back at the same place. Natalia's favorite part about the small village was that no one cared that she hasn't aged in over two hundred years. Well, that's really only because the brunette took the liberty of compelling every resident to not notice how young she still is. It was the easiest way for her to have a permanent home.

While the small village of Lenno began to get ready for bed, the original vampire was wide awake in her very large villa. If someone were to stand on the top of the mountain that overlooked Lake Como, they would see light shining from the villa like it was the only light source in the world.

The vampire had the brightest lamps and candles surrounding the room she called her studio. Natalia used the spacious room for writing, drawing, and most of all painting. She was very much like her younger brother, Niklaus, in that way. Ever since Natalia moved to Italy, she would paint for the best museums in the world. There wasn't a single thing she wouldn't paint; mountains, buildings, statues, flowers, lakes. But her favorite thing to paint was people - which explains her current painting she was working on.

Natalia had gained many different muses over the years to paint, but her current one was a beautiful brunette girl named Sofia. The original vampire was dating the girl, well that's what she told the human. But in reality, Natalia was just using the girl for her own needs. Natalia wasn't one for relationships. She just liked to have fun and have something that could hold her interest.

Natalia's current muse was sitting on her gold throne seat with only a pair of red lace panties. The girl's right leg was thrown over the right arm of the chair with a red silk blanket covering her upper thighs. Sofia also had Natalia's artistic touch which was the point of a wooden stake between her shiny white teeth and several bloody bite marks on the left side of her neck, on the swell of her ample breasts, and down her arms and legs.

Sofia took the wooden stake out of her mouth once she noticed Natalia was focusing on painting instead of how her body was positioned and asked with her sweet innocent voice, "È meglio di una ciotola di frutta, bambino?" ["Is it better than a bowl of fruit, baby?"]

Natalia chuckled lightly at her lover before she looked up from her painting and stated with a seductive smirk, "si, amore mio. Hai anche un sapore migliore." ["Yes, my love. You also taste better."]

Sofia's tan cheeks took a deep cherry color as the words fell easily from the blue eyed girl. She quickly coughed in embarrassment before she opened her mouth to speak. However, before she could tell Natalia to stop, a male voice called out from behind them, "now don't tease the poor girl, sister."

Natalia didn't bother looking over to the voice like Sofia did while she tried to hide her uncovered breasts with her hands. Instead, Natalia vamp sped towards the human girl and wrapped the silk blanket around her body before she whispered, "vai nella mia stanza." ["Go to my room."]

Sofia shakily stood up from the chair and held the blanket in a tight grip as she looked between the strange man and her lover. "Cosa c'è che non va?" The human girl questioned with furrowed brows. ["What's wrong?"]

Natalia gave the girl a gentle smile as she whispered, "ho solo bisogno di gestire alcuni affari. Ci vediamo presto, cara." ["I just need to handle some business. I will find you soon, darling."]

Sofia continued to move her brown eyes between her lover and the man in worry. But the easy smile on Natalia's pink lips convinced her instantly. Sofia nodded her head before she spoke quietly, "sarò in attesa per te." ["I'll be waiting for you."]

Natalia moved her soft hand up to the girl's tan cheek and said, "non ti preoccupare, amore mio," before she swiftly pushed her plumps lips onto Sofia's. ["Don't worry, my love."] They stood like that for a couple of seconds with the sound of Natalia's brother impatiently tapping his foot before Natalia finally pulled away.

The Italian girl switched the blanket into one hand as soon as their lips separated before she grabbed her vampire lover's neck and brought her into another needy kiss. She felt like she was always addicted to Natalia's lips. However, once she remembered that they had an audience, Sofia quickly pulled away before she dashed up the staircase with her cheeks painted in red.

Natalia watched the human girl run up to her bedroom in amusement before she turned around to face her brother with an annoyed look as she questioned, "what do you want, Niklaus?"

The dormant hybrid smirked as he took a seat on the chair that is sister had been sitting on while she was painting before he wondered, "what? I can't visit my lovely sister?"

Natalia swiftly grabbed the painting and moved it away from her brother's view as it was only for her entertainment. She placed it against the wall before she turned back to Niklaus and stated, "you don't visit. You only come by when you want to annoy me or you want something." She rose an eyebrow as she questioned, "so which is, brother?"

Niklaus only shrugged his shoulders but didn't give Natalia the answer she wanted. Instead, he slowly walked around the large villa before he picked up the canvas his sister had been painting on before he arrived. He quirked an eyebrow at the brunette as he questioned, "don't you think the bite marks and the wooden stake is just a little cliche?"

Natalia huffed out a sigh as she realized she wasn't going to be able to get rid of her brother any time soon. She walked over to the glass table that was filled with centuries of alcohol before she poured bourbon into a crystal glass. Natalia took a heavy gulp before she finally explained, "I like the humor and the truth it tells." She threw her brother a smirk as she took a seat on her leather couch before she added, "plus, who doesn't like to see a beautiful shirtless woman?"

Niklaus had joined his sister and poured his own glass of bourbon while she was busy talking. But once Natalia finished with a question, Niklaus smirked right back at his sister and lifted his glass and uttered, "here here." He took a seat across from Natalia before he wondered curiously, "I thought you scorned love from your life?"

Natalia rolled her eyes and mumbled, "yeah, no thanks to you."

Niklaus chuckled as he innocently held his unoccupied hand up before he recalled, "hey, it is not my fault I wanted my favorite sister to stay with me instead of running away with that strumpet of a woman."

Natalia bit the inside of her mouth as her brother reminded her of the painful memories that happened in the late thirteen hundreds. She had fallen in love with a beautiful blonde girl with the most gorgeous blue eyes that still haunts her dreams. Natalia thought Victoria was her one true love. However, when the two women decided to run away together, Natalia's lovely brother slaughtered the blonde while Natalia went to fetch a boat. Natalia did end up forgiving her brother years later, thanks to the cursed saying she and three of her siblings had - always and forever. Family above all.

Natalia cleared her throat as she tried to push the past to the back of her mind before she stated, "if you must know, that stunning Italian girl happens to be my muse and plaything for the moment."

Niklaus rose an eyebrow at his sister in disbelief as he muttered, "oh?" He stared at Natalia for a moment before he broke out into a heavy laughter and wondered, "has my sweet older sister turned into a heart breaker?"

Natalia shrugged her shoulders carelessly and downed the rest of her bourbon before she stated, "I have you to thank for that." She swiftly stood up from her antique furniture before she poured herself another drink as she questioned in a serious tone, "so, what can I do for you, brother?"

Niklaus placed the crystal glass onto the table in front of him before he stated as it was the simplest request in the world, "I would like you to join me in ending this wretched curse our mother has on me so I can finally turn into the hybrid I was born to be."

Natalia stared into her brother's blue eyes to see if he was lying but when she noticed there was not even a single spark of amusement in his orbs, Natalia knew her brother was dead serious. "You got to be kidding me, Nik," she groaned. Natalia shook her head before she questioned in annoyance, "another bloody doppelganger?"

Niklaus nodded his head as he revealed, "my connections told me recently that my lovely doppelganger resides in a small town in Virginia called Mystic Falls."

Natalia sighed as she took a seat back onto her couch. She rose an eyebrow as she suddenly wondered, "and why do you want me to come?" She chuckled lightly as she reminisced, "I did almost ruin the last one for you."

Niklaus smirked at his sister as he remembered the late fourteen hundreds when they found his doppelganger. "Ah, yes. I remember clearly that you fell for Katerina and tried to stop me from completing the sacrifice," Niklaus recalled.

Natalia held her hand up as she corrected the hybrid, "now wait one second. I didn't fall for Katerina Petrova. I stopped feeling things for women a long time ago." Natalia shrugged her shoulders lightly with a smirk as she explained, "your doppelganger was just a good lay. It wasn't my fault she fell for me while she tricked my lovely twin brother to help her." Natalia took a sip of her bourbon before she wondered, "speaking of beautiful women, where is that lovely girl these days?"

Niklaus grabbed his glass of bourbon from the table and swiftly downed it before he commented in annoyance, "she better hope she's halfway across the world if she doesn't want to feel my wrath just yet." He rose an eyebrow at his sister as he wondered suspiciously, "have you seen the vampire doppelganger lately, sister?"

Natalia chuckled as she shook her head before she stated, "the last time I saw Katerina was when she was moaning underneath me before I heard that she got away and turned into a vampire." The female original didn't tell her brother the whole truth because she knew he would be angry with her. In reality, Natalia had ran into Katerina in 1629 during a trip to France. Natalia barely stayed a couple of days before she quickly left as she didn't want to be caught by her brother or any of his minions.

Niklaus nodded his head silently before he stood up from the couch and questioned as he pointed towards the stairs, "so, should you go say goodbye to your little plaything? We have a long road ahead of us to reach the states."

Natalia crossed her right leg over her left thigh as she muttered while she played with her perfectly done nails, "I don't remember agreeing, dear brother."

Niklaus rolled his eyes in frustration as he crossed his arms over his chest. "Don't make me beg," he mumbled before he stated, "I would like my favorite sister with me when I finally become a true hybrid."

"I hope baby sister doesn't hear that from the ocean you threw her in," Natalia commented before she wondered, "or did you bury our siblings, Nik?" She shrugged her shoulders dismissively as she uttered, "I could never get a straight answer from Elijah when I asked where our siblings were." Natalia was still petty and hurt that Niklaus would just throw away the rest of their family like they were trash. She and Elijah were the only ones lucky enough to never have angered him.

"Stop acting like a baby, Natalia. I will not ask you twice," Niklaus told his sister in annoyance. He did not have time for her games. He wasn't going to let his doppelganger get away from him. "I will meet you at Malpensa Airport in two hours, sister," Niklaus stated before he swiftly vamp sped out of the villa.

Natalia rolled her eyes at Niklaus' temper tantrum. But she knew there was no point in arguing with him. She heaved out a sigh as she realized she was going to the states for the first time in less than a century. She has always tried to stay away from the states since she was in Chicago with Niklaus and Rebekah years ago. It didn't go well thanks to their father. Natalia downed the rest of her bourbon and placed it onto the glass table before she vamp sped up to her bedroom, where she spotted Sofia lying on her bed with a silk robe wrapped around her tan body.

Sofia's honey brown eyes widened in excitement once she spotted the original. She quickly moved to her knees on the large bed and exclaimed, "mi hai trovato, amore mio!" ["You found me, my love!"]

Natalia gave the brunette a smirk as she uttered, "corretto, ho travato la mia prinicipessa." ["Correct, I found my princess."] She placed her cold hand against the girl's cheek before she brought her into a kiss. Even though Natalia didn't have feelings for the girl in front of her, she still liked the idea of someone loving her like Sofia did. But it wouldn't last. Natalia always gets bored of her lovers. They would either get too needy or want to be more than just someone that screams her name during sex. The original vampire made a promise to herself years ago that she would never fall for another women and she wasn't going to break that.

Sofia wrapped her small arms around Natalia's neck as she wondered softly, "continua il dipinto?" ["Do we continue the painting?"]

Natalia placed her plump lips against one of the bites on her lover's neck before she mumbled, "non posso." ["I can't."] The vampire sunk her teeth into Sofia's neck and drank her sweet warm blood while she listened to the human girl moan in pleasure before she pulled away and added, "devo andare, amore mio." ["I must go, my love."]

"Bambino," Sofia whined like a child. ["Baby."] She didn't want Natalia to leave. She hadn't left the vampire's side ever since they met at a fashion show in Milan over two months ago.

Natalia let a groan fall for her lips when she noticed the human girl was beginning to cry. This is why she didn't do feelings. Who wants to cry all the time? Natalia rubbed the human girl's cheek softly before she pushed her bloody lips against Sofia's soft ones. She knew if her words wouldn't work then her actions definitely would. Natalia moved her arms and wrapped them around Sofia's waist, which caused the human girl to wrap her bare legs around the vampire's body while they continued to make out. Natalia vamp sped to one of the white walls and slammed the girl's back right into it. She swiftly tore the robe off the human's body before she moved her hungry lips to Sofia's full breasts. If Natalia was going to leave with Niklaus for a while, then she was going to at least have one more time with Sofia's amazing body.

Sofia moaned and ordered desperately, "prendimi." ["Take me."]

Natalia didn't need to be told twice before she vamp sped to her bed and roughly threw the human girl down before she began to worship the body that she had claimed as hers these last couple of months. She knew exactly what needed to be done for Sofia to lose all control of her body. Natalia was extremely talented when it came to pleasing women. It would only take her five minutes or less until Sofia would be out of breath and satisfied.

True to her words, Natalia had Sofia's body laid out on her bed in exhaustion in less than five minutes. So, while Sofia was busy trying to get her bearings, Natalia sped around her bedroom as she packed all the clothes she could fit into her suitcase. Natalia usually would be picky with what she brought with her when she would leave Italy, but she knew she could always just compel her some more clothes.

"Stai partendo?" Sofia whispered in a sad voice as she laid on her lover's bed. ["Are you leaving?"]

"Si, amore mio. Mi dispiace de non portarti con me," Natalia told the human girl. ["Yes, my love. I'm sorry I cannot take you with me."] Natalia knew she had to let the girl down or she would never reach Niklaus in time. She looked into Sofia's brown eyes and continued her believable lie, "tornerò per te." ["I will come back for you."]

Sofia pouted before she questioned, "promettere?" ["Promise?"] She nakedly got out of the bed and walked slowly to her lover and kissed down her neck before she wondered, "hai intenzione di andare a letto con altre ragazze?" ["Are you going to sleep with other girls?"]

Natalia rolled her eyes mentally. She hated when girls got too clingy. Natalia pulled Sofia's naked body against hers before she brought her into a heavy kiss. Once the original vampire pulled away, she whispered, "mi dispiace, cara. Ma ho finito con te," before her face instantly turned into the monster she truly was. ["I'm sorry, darling. But I'm done with you."]

Natalia smirked as she enjoyed the scared human girl beginning to struggle in her arms once she realized she was going to die. Natalia always loved when her victims tried to fight her. It made the kill so much more satisfying. After a couple of minutes passed, Natalia grew tired of Sofia's kicking and screaming, so she easily tossed the girl towards the wall before she vamp sped over to her and locked her teeth into Sofia's jugular.

Natalia breathed out a sigh of relief once she drank every single drop of blood that was in her plaything's body. The waiting and teasing she did these last couple of months to savor the sweet taste of her blood was completely worth it. That was usually how Natalia dealt with her playthings. She would use them, pleasure them, and trick them into believing she loved them before she would finally end their lives just to have their sweet blood.

Natalia dropped the dead body to the ground without a care in the world before she moved to her full body mirror, where she wiped the blood from her mouth and made sure her outfit was perfect. Natalia smirked evilly into the mirror once she was finished before she swiftly turned around to grab her suitcase before she began to strut down the long staircase.

Natalia gave her villa one last look, knowing that she wouldn't be able to see for a while now that she was helping Niklaus. She opened the front door to her home and walked a few steps until she spotted the familiar man that watches her villa. Natalia compelled Don once she had bought the building to make sure no one would bother her. She turned him before he could grow old and he's been a great confidant ever since.

"Ciao, come va, Don?" Natalia questioned with a polite smile on her face. ["How are you, Don?"]

Don gave the original vampire a small nod and stated, "sto bene, signora Mikaelson." ["I'm good, Ms. Mikaelson."] He glanced down at the suitcase in her hand and wondered, "stai andando in gita?" ["Are you going on a trip?"]

Natalia rolled her eyes as she answered, "mio fratello ha bisogno di me." ["My brother needs me."] She twitched her head to the side and questioned, "potresti affrontare il corpo mentre me ne vado?" ["Could you deal with the body while I'm gone?"]

"Certo, signora Mikaelson," Don agreed before added, "e buona fortuna a tuo fratello." ["Of course, Ms. Mikaelson. And good luck with your brother."]

Natalia chuckled lightly and commented, "ne avrò bisogno," before she slipped on her sunglasses and walked away from her home and headed towards her garage. ["I'm going to need it."]

Natalia tossed her suitcase into the backseat of her black Bugatti before she drove away from the small village of Lenno and headed towards the airport to meet Niklaus. "Addio, Italia. Ciao, Mistica Caduta," Natalia whispered to herself as she began her journey to help her brother find the Petrova doppelganger so he could finally break their mother's curse. ["Goodbye, Italy. Hello, Mystic Falls."]

Caos. Essa era a palavra apropriada para definir a academia Avalon naquele exato momento. Chegava até mesmo a ser irônico que o colégio mais caro de todo o mundo fosse também o menos seguro. Não eram raras as vezes em que catástrofes aconteciam no extenso território do instituto, mas nenhuma parecia se assimilar a aquela. Os gritos de horror podiam ser ouvidos em meio a calada da noite, os barulhos de destruição tomavam conta de tudo e, principalmente, o número de mortos aumentavam a cada instante. Sofia estava segura naquele momento. Tinha sido transportada em segurança por Edward para um dos incontáveis esconderijos secretos espalhados pelo prédio dos dormitórios dos herdeiros, entretanto, por mais que estivesse bem, não conseguia ficar tranquila. Sua mente não conseguia deixar de pensar em todas as pessoas que ainda estavam lá fora, Shiera e seu bebê, Mikhail, Niklaus, Axel, Rubí, Richard, William... Safiya parecia estar tendo uma boa conversa com seu irmão, por isso Niklaus não hesitou em aproveitar o momento para andar pelo salão a fim de observar o movimento. Foi em questão de poucos minutos que o russo encontrou Sofia com os olhos, abrindo um largo sorriso ao ver a princesa se divertindo na festa. Ela estava estonteante, como sempre, fazendo-o se lembrar com nostalgia de quando a mexicana ainda nem tinha entrado na puberdade. Afastou as memórias da cabeça e pôs-se a andar até a princesa, esperançoso de que esta o reconheceria mesmo com a máscara de lobo que cobria quase que seu rosto inteiro.

“Com licença, você viu a Sofia por ai?” Perguntou diretamente para a princesa, mas olhando ao redor fingindo procurá-la ao longe. “Ouvi dizer que ela tem chulé, então quero manter distância, sabe?” Niklaus riu com a brincadeira finalmente voltando a fitá-la. O príncipe pegou duas taças de vinho da bandeja de um garçom que passava ao lado deles e ofereceu uma delas para a mexicana. “Acho que ela está bem longe daqui, até porque você cheira muito bem.” Elogiou Sofia abrindo um largo sorriso que pouco apareceria por baixo da máscara. Niklaus estendeu uma das mãos para a princesa fazendo uma singela reverência. “Niklaus Karpov, príncipe da R��ssia ao seu dispor.” Se apresentou para o caso da amiga não o ter reconhecido, o que duvidava bastante e deixava a situação ainda mais engraçada.
