I've been pretty silent recently, but I feel like it's time to finally update everyone.

As of now, I plan to move all my longer fics onto ao3. I will link to my account once I actually start doing it. If there are any fics you desperately want to be moved please let me know- because any that aren't moved might be deleted. You can just send me an ask with the title. I'm not abandoning this blog, I will post updates of fics I write with links to my ao3. I will probably use this blog for requests too.

Tldr; I'm moving my fics to ao3. Please let me know if there are any fics you want moved so I don't accidentally delete them from existence

Streamily Shop!

Just got a Streamily shop set up! I'm gonna be doing a solo stream signing on Dec. 14th!!! streamily.com/ericawester There will be a larger stream signing with THE WHOLE W2H2 CAST later on, probably some time in February. Both will be for this print!

help my cat maybe!

okay I was told to just do this even though i hate it.

but as some of you know i lost my job a while back and it happened at the same time that my cat began semi-frequent vomitting like once every other week to multiple times a week. he appears fine otherwise but it has continued on for the last few months and at this point I don’t think i can continue pretending like he is alright.

the bill for a proper scan and diagnosis is around 780 total which is sadly not affordable.

If it is possible kofi donations would be greatly appreciated so I can bring him in for an ultrasound and blood tests 🙏 the lnk is in my pinned

hey random tiny ppl in my phone!! i was sitting here in bed and i was thinking back to my W2H headcanons regarding Sock and Jonathan…and now im extremely tempted to change them up a little. i feel like one or two hc regarding Sock don’t really fit how i see him in my head anymore, and i wanna add some things to Jonathan as well. soo maybe expect a new update on that? idk, but im praying that i’ll focus on that before school starts (IN TWO WEEKS!!! WHAT!!!) so yah! see you guys in 38 years :3

Hi, you said in your bio that you're chronically ill. I was wondering if you had any tips for knitting with chronic pain (assuming that's your flavour of chronic illness)? Or do you know anyone who could give me advice?knitting/sewing is my sanity-saver.

I use compression gloves, only knit with specific weights of yarn (the ones that are the least painful for me), and try to take frequent breaks, which for me looks like switching hobbies every 30 minutes or so (knitting to spinning to knitting, etc). I also do my best to be very gentle on my joints when i can, altho i honestly rarely have the choice at work.

Personally i have joint problems and migraines, so thats what im correcting for/trying not to make worse. Helpful advice probably varies depending on what youre trying to correct for. Really my only general advice is "when it starts to hurt, try to stop" and "if possible, save the painfully difficult stuff for when youre doing well, and make the easier stuff your usual work"

If anyone who sees this has got other tips please feel free to comment them
