"Why do you care so much about accidentally leaving people out?" Because I've had friend groups where they were the planets and I was their Pluto.
I've had friend groups where our dynamics revolved around a Sun, with everyone vying for their attention if only to bask in their light for a mere moment. Where our thinly strung bonds collapsed the second our Sun left.
I've had friend groups where they bonded as Saturn's rings, finding solace in their shared shortcomings while isolating those more talented than them.
But I've also had friend groups where we bond as Neptune and Uranus—so similar we could be known as twins. Friend groups like Venus and Earth: so awfully different, yet it was those differences that kept us together.
And I would rather create a social system like the latter than the former.

art donaldson x childhood friend reader who he hasn’t seen in a long time (whose had a crazy glow up) visits him at stanford at the same time as patrick and patrick starts hitting on her (him and tashi are in an open relationship) and art gets jealous.
(maybe she tells patrick she knows he’s in a relationship and he tells her tashi wouldn’t mind and she would probably be down to join idk)
art donaldson x reader // challengers // fluff; happy ending
a/n: i did not hit the prompt on the head 100%, but i’m not mad at it. this ended up turning into a monster i had no control off and ended up being alot longer than i expected (i haven’t done a word count, and did not mean for it to spiral into this but i enjoyed writing this very much). i am an art donaldson defender and this is my way of giving him everything he deserves (i hope you guys can see what i subtly tried to do in places - please leave comments/reblog if you see them, it would mean the world). also i typed this entirely on my phone without proofreading - you’ve been warned.
edit - as a disclaimer, i do not purport to comment on the victim/villain/any dynamic in the challengers universe. this space is purely for delusional thoughts and fiction only (see also)

Good luck.
Art shoots the text off to you before taking a swig out of cup of diet coke he has in hand. He leans forward, his forearms on his knees, teeth crunching on ice cubes as lets his gaze sweep across the court in front of him. It is devoid of players but already has the umpire and linesmen ready and waiting.
You’ll buy dinner if I win?
Art doesn’t expect to get a text back, so he checks his phone absently, but his face breaks into a tiny grin as he sees your reply. Most other players would have been hyper focused in the moments before a match but you, in the breezy light hearted way you always were, still had it in you to joke around.
Yes, but if you lose…
Art sends his response, the tiny grin still on his face.
I’ll feed you.
Your reply is fast and it makes art shake his head lightly a quiet chuckle dropping from his lips. He is just about to type another reply but is interrupted by the loud cheers that erupt from around him. Art looks up from his phone to see Anna Davies walk out on court in the same colour red as he had on. He claps politely with the rest of the men’s team who he was sitting amongst in the stands, in a show of support.
Art catches sight of Tashi and Patrick, both perched a few rows down from him with the rest of the women’s team both clapping and hollering in support. He notices the turn of Patrick’s head, no doubt to check in on Art but he doesn’t tilt his head or smile back in acknowledgement as he usually would - he is far too distracted by you.
Art can feel his jaw slacken slightly as you walk on court. He knows what you look like, but you in the flesh - Art thinks you are breathtaking. Your top is in a shade of your college’s colour, paired with a white tennis skirt that shows off a pair of toned, long legs. He catches a glint of metal just above your ankle, and he finds himself squinting in a feeble attempt to make out the look of the ankle bracelet that you have on. Art moves his gaze your face, taking in what he can see from his perch on the stands as you walk out towards your designated bench on the court, bright neon green bottle in hand, your tennis bag slung on a shoulder.
You had been close back home for most of your childhood and more formative teen years, and the both had kept in touch since he left for Stanford and you to your own school of choice, but too infrequently - the occasional text, more frequent reaction or comment on each other’s social media and the small conversations that spiralled from those interactions - like two planets orbiting in the same solar system, but not close enough. Life had overtaken, the excitement of moving your separate ways to a new environment, of college - tennis, academics, people, parties, it had overwhelmed you both, individually and together - made you just about forget that you had each other.
Art is transfixed. You are, lithe, glowing and with a hop in your step - Art finds himself questioning why he had never made more effort to keep you closer since you had both gone on your separate paths. He watches as you settle your bag on the bench, turning your gaze to the stands, eyes narrowing from the glare of the sun as you search the stands, only for your gaze to fix on his. Art sees you smile, lips turning up as you wink directly at him. It makes a series of heads turn to look back at him - your fellow team mates, the small group of supporters from your college who had come along, and the Stanford women’s team plus Patrick, half curious, half puzzled. Art can only raise a hand beside his chest in greeting as he remembers to breathe, letting the air he had been holding in his chest out.
He sees turn away while reaching for your phone which you had wedged in between the band of your tennis skirt and skin. Your fingers flying over the keypad briefly before you toss the phone into your tennis bag, hand fishing out your racket. Art feels his phone buzz in his hand and he looks down at the text that had come through.
Stanford still hasn’t taught you the right way to wear a cap huh.
Your text, a reference to his penchant for securing his cap on backwards, makes Art laugh, out loud, the sudden sound causing his team mates to crane their necks in attempt to look at his phone. Art swats them away as he refocuses his attention back on you, watching as you do a few hops, shifting your body weight from side to side before walking to your position on court, racket in hand. You lose the coin toss, and Anna choose to serve and yet your demeanour is one of ease, something Art can’t help but think is so stark in contrast to Tashi before a match. You aren’t smiling anymore, and yet in an unexplainable fashion, Art can feel you smiling as you bend to ready position, your hands flipping the handle of the racket around, poised to receive. He sees Anna toss the ball, her back arching, hand shooting up, before she connects her serve, and he watches you receive it with ease, your body moving in a smooth motion as you hit it back. Your strokes have their own weight and intention behind them, they are careful, thought out - but what surprises Art is he sees little calculation behind each. Instead, he watches as you let yourself feel each shot, as you let your instinct take control with each step. Art sees himself moving pieces of chess across the court when he watches replays of his game, but with your game, - Art manages to see colour, life, ease. He sees something he hasn’t seen in his tennis since he had last played with you, Art sees fun.
-
The match isn’t long drawn out, you win - effortlessly, just as each of your strokes and movement are. It frustrates Anna, as is evident from the increasing number of unforced errors she makes on her art which leads to her swearing loudly as you easily hit the last heavy, driving it quick and to the opposite corner of the court from where she is positioned. Art finds himself clapping enthusiastically along with the crowd as the umpire calls the game.
-
“You never told me you had such good looking friends,” Art feels an arm sling itself around his neck, pulling him close as he stands outside the court, waiting for you to finish your match debrief with the rest of the team.
“Shouldn’t you be with Tashi?” Art questions as he tugs himself out and under, away from Patrick’s hold. His eyes remain focused on the door of the tennis court, waiting for you to emerge.
“Some strategy meeting,” Patrick offers as explanation, “refocusing or something like that.”
Art starts to say something in response only to be stopped by the view of you walking out from the courts. You both lock eyes, not too similar from how you had with you on the court and him on the stand. Art thinks that your smile is more brilliant up close.
Neither of you say a word, as you walk up to him, hands reaching up to tug his cap off his head only for you to pop it promptly on your own head, the right way around.
“The right way,” you say in greeting, pointing towards his cap which is now sitting on your head, the Stanford red a confusing contrast to your your top, now a loose fitting tshirt in your college colours, as Art chuckles while running a hand through his hair, attempting to shake out any flatness.
“The red looks good on you.”
“Perhaps I should transfer.”
“Didn’t peg you for a traitor,” Art teases which makes you laugh.
“Do I get a hug,” you ask, both of you oblivious to Patrick who is just watching.
“C’mere,” Art says, his words inviting, but just almost slightly shy as he opens his arms to you. You step into his embrace, arms slipping around his body as Art brings his arms around your shoulders, hands bumping into the tennis bag you have on your shoulders. His embrace is familiar, and you let yourself relax into his hold.
“Could I get a hug?” you hear a different male voice chime in and you pull away to look curiously at the brunette who is standing just beside you both.
“Fuck off Patrick,” you hear Art say with no bite, but notice as he steps just that one inch in front of you in an attempt to place himself as some sort of barrier between you and the brunette.
“Patrick Zweig,” the boy says, ignoring Art as he proffers a hand to you which you shake to be polite while introducing yourself.
“Do you go to Stanford as well?” You take in his attire of jeans and a white tee, the lack of red - you would guess not but it didn’t hurt to ask.
“I’m just visiting,” he says, “I’m actually playing on tour.”
“Losing on tour,” Art corrects.
“Your tennis is insane,” Patrick comments, ignoring Art, “when will I see you on tour?”
“I don’t intend on turning pro,” you respond with the flash of a smile.
“Why?” Patrick continues the conversation, now slightly befuddled, “you’re a natural.”
You shrug with a laugh, not answering and simply brushing off his question.
“Why don’t I take you to dinner and you can tell me why.” Patrick’s statement makes Art roll his eyes.
“Aren’t you taking your girlfriend our for dinner?” Art chips to which Patrick simply shrugs not phased in the slightest and answers with a no.
“Thanks, but I already have a dinner to cash in on,” you offer Patrick a smile, before glancing at Art.
“I’m sure Art wo-”
“Nope, fuck off Patrick,” is what Art says again, not even giving the other man a chance to finish his sentence. It makes you laugh, but you follow as Art grabs your hand, tugging you off in a direction away from Patrick.
“It was nice meeting you Patrick,” you call out, turning your head towards him giving him a wave with your free hand, “good luck on the tour!”
You walk for a minute or two more until the tennis courts are out of range before Art stops. He lets go off your hand, but reaches instead to grasp the top of the tennis bag on your shoulder. You raise a brow questioningly only to have him tug again with a slight tilt of his head. You relinquish the bag to him and he hoists it on his shoulder instead.
“What a gentleman,” you joke, but with a smile on your face.
Art does a mock bow with a flourish of his hand which makes you laugh with a shake of your head.
“Your chariot awaits my lady,” he extends a hand to you, waist still tilted in a bow, but his head up and looking at you.
“Lead the way,” you place your hand on top of his again.
“My car is that way,” he says jerking a thumb towards his right as he intertwines his fingers with yours. Its the second time in the day where he’s holding onto your hand but you don’t think too much of it and neither does Art. It feels right, comforting, familiar and like it’s supposed to be - and you go with it.
-
“Sorry about Patrick,” Art says as he fiddles with the paper casing of the straw. You are both sitting in a booth, plates cleared, your drinks left in front of you. Art is leaning back but being across him you can feel his knees knocking into yours. Dinner had gone by way too fast for Art’s liking. There had been both plenty to catch up on, as well as new information to learn and yet - it had felt like no time had passed between you both.
“He’s a bit of an ass isn’t he,” you say as you lean back, a mirror of Art. Your comment elicits a bark of laughter from him.
“Girls don’t usually say that about him.”
“What do they say?”
“Well not say, but they usually fall at his feet or into his bed,”
“No,” it makes you crinkle your nose while you shake your head.
“His girlfriend Tashi,” Art says, fingers still fiddling with the wrapper, “we played tennis for her number, she chose him.” Art said referencing the tennis match between him and Patrick. His sentence is blunt, to the point, and yet manages to be vulnerable at the same time. Art surprises himself as the words slip out from his lips so easily but it feels easy to tell you, safe to let himself be vulnerable, fine to let you view him for who he truly is.
You both sit in silence for a beat or two, the only sound between you both being the rustle of paper in Art’s fingers.
“Well,” you begin, “if she made you play for her number, maybe its for the better you didn’t win.”
Art’s fingers give pause and he looks up at you. His expression is unreadable, but you don’t feel like you’ve said anything wrong - just the obvious.
“I guess you are right,” he says after a few seconds of silence, before raising his head to look at you. There is a small smile on his face that you can’t quite place.
“When have I been wrong Donaldson?” You challenge in jest as you lift a leg under the table to jostle one of his lightly. Art leans forward, managing to capture one of your legs, your calf in the warmth of his palm.
“You really want me to start?” Art questions as you wriggle your leg in attempt to get away but no no avail.
“No.”
“Let’s see, the time we were six and you thought that the way to get strawberry milk was to dump pink food colouring in normal milk.”
“Stop,” you protest, but with a laugh on your lips.
“Or the time we were ten and you were convinced that the park we passed by on the way home from school was haunted and we had to sprint past that stretch of sidewalk for 3 whole months.”
“It was creepy!”
“How could we forget the one time we were thirteen and you thought that the way babies were made wa-”
“Arthur Donaldson,” you protest, managing to wrestle your leg out of his grasp which has grown looser with each anecdote. It allows you to set your foot on the ground, body shooting up to lean across the table, your palm coming to cover Art’s mouth to prevent him from announcing any further recollections from your youth.
You can feel his breath hot against the palm of your hand as his muffled laugher fills the space of your booth.
“Art,” you huff, relinquishing his full name for his nickname again. You move to drop your hand from his face, but Art catches a hold of your wrist. You sit back down, butt hitting the seat again, but with your hand still stretched across the table, wrist still loosely wrapped in one Art Donaldson’s hand. His shoulders are still shaking, now with a silent laughter.
“Art,” you try again.
“I’m sorry, it’s just so funny,” Art exhales, trying to collect himself as best as he can. He doesn’t remember the last time he laughed like this, freely and with such reckless abandon over something so innocent.
“Your dedicated court jester, always here to serve,” you mock with a roll of your eyes.
“You’ve been derelict in your duties,” Art says, now calm, but his eyes still twinkling under a mop of strawberry blonde hair. He keeps his tone light but what he really means to say is that it has been too long. You chuckle, not really having an answer for him.
“It’s been a while,” you finally admit, both your hands now resting on the table between you, you wrist now lying upturned in Art’s open palm. You had always been close
“It has, hasn’t it,” it isn’t really a question. Art has missed you - something he hasn’t realised until today. He had let himself be distracted by the complex, focused toxicity that was tennis, Patrick and Tashi, letting himself get sucked into the whirlpool, that he had forgotten to hold on to the things that grounded him.
“Maybe we should change that.”
“We should change that,” Art corrects you and you can feel the tips of your ears burning, and the skin across your cheek bones tingling for some reason.
-
You aren’t quite sure how ended up here, but one thing had lead to another as you both made your way out of the restaurant and back to Art’s car, and the next thing you knew you were heading back to his dorm to watch reruns of Buffy the Vampire Slayer for some reason.
“How do you not find her hot?” You ask again for the tenth time as you both focus on the screen of Art’s laptop which is perched half on his thigh and half on yours. You are both sitting on his bed, shoulder to shoulder, both of your heads damp from (separate) showers in Art’s ensuite, and you smelling quite like him from having used his toiletries and borrowing a short and shirt set, both of which which were a baggy fit for you.
“I don’t know, I just don’t.”
“You’re rubbish Donaldson,” you snort, nudging your elbow lightly into his ribs with a simultaneous yawn.
“Tired?” Art asks, as you stifle another yawn.
“Yeah,” you accept, seeing little point in trying to hide it. You had after all, played a match today.
“I should really get back to the hotel,” you mumble, the back of your head leaning against the wall beside Art’s bed, eyes closing.
“You could just stay here,” there is a hint of hesitation in his voice because he isn’t sure if you’ll stay.
“Here?”
“My bed’s a double,” Art shrugs, “it would also be quicker for you to get to the matches tomorrow.” You aren’t playing but Art knows you would be expected to show up as a supporter for the series of matches between your two schools that continued tomorrow.
“Are you sure?” You don’t mind, after all - it’s Art, the boy you had known growing up, shared milkshakes and apple slices with after school, but you wanted to be sure he was truly fine with it.
“Yeah, I’m sure,” Art moves to shit his laptop, lifting himself to bend over the edge of the bed to place the laptop on the floor, “you can take the inside.”
He flops down on the outside of the bed that is further from the wall too easily, his right hand going behind his head. Him moving forces you to move in tandem as you flop down on Art’s left, legs scrambling under the covers which Art has somehow managed to worm his way under in the flurry of movement.
Art reaches a hand over, his arm extending over you in the process to hit the light switch that he has beside his bed. It plunges you both into darkness, the only light the faint glow from the street lamps creeping in from below his curtains, and the glow of his digital clock.
You flip onto your right side, eyes closed, missing the turn of Art’s head as he observes yours features, closed eyes, lashes, nose, lips, finding his gaze lingering a moment too long on your lips.
“Stop staring Art.”
“Am not.”
“I can feel it,” you respond, lips curving into a smirk. It was a habit he had developed from the sleepovers you both had either in his living room or yours when you were both younger. You would close your eyes, just about to doze off, only to hear the faint shifting of a head against a pillow while Art turned to stare at you, his blue-brown eyes boring into you.
“Am not.”
“Go to sleep Art.”
-
“So I guess I’ll see you around,” You are standing just a distance off the side of the bus which is supposed to take you back to campus. The matches for the day had ended, with your school having won by one match.
“Yeah,” Art replies, drawing out his words as he takes you in, he finds himself think that he had very much preferred you in his clothes despite them being oversized and not as well fitted as your own. You had managed to change into a fresh set of school colours before the matches started earlier that morning, having pleaded with your angel of a roommate to help you lug your overnight bag, which you hadn’t even had the chance to unpack the night before, over to the courts before the matches had begun. She had taken one look at you in Art’s tshirt, shorts with his hoodie thrown over, and had given you the widest smirk known to man despite your insistence that nothing had happened.
“I think you are scheduled to come play next month,” you refer to the Stanford men’s team, “I’ll see you then?”
“Or I could see you next week?” Art says almost shyly as he raises a hand to rub the back of his head. Art was a walking oxymoron, easily grabbing your hand, asking you to sleep in his bed, and yet somewhat bashful in the moments in between, “the drive over is an hour, max.”
“I would like that,” your response earns you a mega watt smile, his eyes twinkling at you. You both hear voices calling Art away from the bus, one male, one female - but Art ignores them both.
-
“Yeah and I told her-” your sentence is cut off by a nudge to your shoulder.
“Stanford” you friend explains with slightly too much glee in her voice. She had seen the smile on your face after returning from your away game last weekend, and the way you had been constantly glued to your phone, grin on your face, laughter peppering your days, the name Art Donaldson a constant fixture in your notifications.
Your head swivels up and to your left to spot Art leaning against his black jeep, hands crossed loosely across his chest. He smiles when he sees you, and your face mimics his expression.
“Don’t do anything I wouldn’t,” you friend calls out as she pushes you in Art’s direction. You pull a face at her while rolling your eyes, but letting your legs carry you towards Art.
“Are you stalking me Donaldson?” You ask in jest. Art had texted you half an hour earlier, asking which part of campus your last class of the Friday was in and where he should pick you up from.
“Hundred percent,” he says as he opens his arms; you step into his embrace for a brief hug, before he turns to open the car door for you. You unload your bag from your arm, dropping it onto the floor of the passenger’s seat before climbing in. You move to close the door, but Art is in between you and the door, reaching over to click your seatbelt into place.
“Ready?” He asks, and you nod, gazing into bright blue-brown eyes.
-
“Positivism,” Art says simply at your question of what theory of jurisprudence he found himself most inclined towards. You think for a moment, the side of your face propped up with a hand, elbow on the counter of the bar you both are seated at, your body turned towards Art who is likewise, facing you.
“Positivism,” you roll the words around your tongue, “I guess it tracks,” you shrug, before raising a brow slightly, “but how does an engineering undergraduate so much about jurisprudence?”
“I read.”
“On jurisprudence?” You frown nose wrinkling as you reach your hand out to place the back of it against Art’s forehead as if to check if he had a fever, “are you alright?”
“You mean you don’t read engineering daily in between sets?” Art questions you with mock horror as he reaches up to tug your hand down from his forehead. Your hand ends up, yet again, in Art’s, which is resting on his knee.
“Why engineering, and not something with a lighter course load?” The underlying question is clear - Art had every intent of going the pro track post-Stanford, and it wasn’t that he would be making full use of his degree anyway.
“I don’t want the only skill I have to be hitting a ball with a racket,” he shrugs, “it feels good to know I can do something else.”
You hum in bother understanding and agreement as you feel Art’s thumb begin to stroke the back of your hand. It distracts you, his calloused thumb sliding across your skin.
“In another life I’m sure you would have made a darn good engineer Art Donaldson.”
Your words make Art laugh, something he found himself doing a lot with you.
-
“So, this is me,” you point towards the dormitory buildings up in front and Art slows his car to a stop, pulling the gear into park. He kills the engine before hopping out of his seat. Your hand is on the handle of the door, ready to open it for yourself but Art is faster, his hand on the outside lever, pulling the door open for you.
Art offers you a hand as you hop out of the jeep before he shuts the door behind you.
“I had fun tonight,” you find yourself saying, suddenly feeling slightly shy for reasons you cannot fathom.
“Me too,” is what Art says in response, his hands stuck on the pockets of his jeans, heels rocking in a back and forth motion. You see his gaze on you, locking with yours before flickering to your lips. It makes you bite down one on side of your lip, an action which causes Art to gulp, making the Adam’s apple on his throat bob.
“We should do-”
“Can I kiss you?” Art blurts out his question in a burst and you can see his face flush slightly as he asks, a surprising and yet apt contrast to the Art who had no qualms about holding your hand in his. You feel your heart quickening, and with the silence between you both - you almost feel as if you can hear each beat.
“Yes,” you breathe out, a small nod accompanying your response. You see Art’s gaze flicker to your lips again, but you would be lying if you said you hadn’t thought about this.
Art takes a step forward, pulling his hands out of his pockets. You feel him cupping your face gently, and you tilt your head towards him. Your eyes flutter close and your lips meet.
Art’s lips are softer than you imagined. You feel his hands move, slipping down the sides of your body, circling your waist and pulling you closer. You drop your bag off your shoulder onto the floor as your hands move up, one to cradle the side of his face, and the other reaching behind, fingers weaving into soft curls as you tug him closer towards you. First kisses with someone new had always been awkward for you - teeth, lips, noses, as you each try to figure out the grooves and crannies of each other, but with Art - there was no such thing. It felt as if you both had learnt each other long ago, each in and out, the curve of his neck, and the the planes of your body.
You break the kiss first, pulling away, eyes still closed, feeling as if the breath had been knocked out of you in the best way. Your forehead pressed against Art’s, body held firmly against his.
“I hope you aren’t going to send me packing after that.” Your eyes flutter open at his words.
“You packed an overnight bag didn’t you?”
“I might have,” Art pulls you even closer, his arms wound tight around you.
“Presumptuous much?” You run a hand through the front of his hair, pushing his fringe back.
“Just good at reading the room.”
-
12 years later
The skin across your knuckles are visibly tight, your hands clenched into fists, the only sign of the nerves that have taken over and riddled your body. Your eyes are shielded by dark oversized glasses, but your pupils are darting left and right as the final point of the match plays before you. The stadium is silent, save for the pop of the ball and the grunts from the two players on court. You hear an exceptionally loud grunt, the whizzing of a racket whipping through the air, and then you hear it before it hits you - the roar of the crowd, the thundering claps, and you feel your body freeze as even the announcer goes wild.
“Art Donaldson, ladies and gentleman, our new US Open champion.”
You remain glued to your seat despite the commotion around you - family, Art’s team, cheering, jumping, excited hugs being passed around. Your eyes watch as Art runs towards the center of the net, hand raised as he waves to the crowd around. He shakes his opponents hand, before waving to each section of the stadium in thanks of their support and there he is, jogging towards you. His hair is dripping with sweat, plastered to his head, shirt clinging to his body. He extends a hand to you even before he reaches the sideline and your body reacts from habit, standing, your hand extending back towards him. A warm hand, the back of it still slick from sweat grasps yours, tugging you forward lightly.
“Hi,” is all he says as Art’s lips meet yours. Art enjoys the tennis, but he doesn’t need it - doesn’t need the tennis, the fame, the money, or the trophies - all he needs is you.
You hear the crowd go wild at the display of affection, the announcer’s voice booming over the sound system with something about Art Donaldson and his wife, but it all fades - the commotion, the sound, the people, the tennis, because all you see is Art.
“I love you.”
“I love you too.”

Mars isn't a good planet to his moons. He isn't pushy or demanding like Earth was with Luna but he is neglectful. When Mars was playing asteroid dodgeball, his moons were almost hit by an asteroid. With the same asteroid, Mars carelessly swung it around his orbit. They are smaller than the asteroid, they wouldn't have survived getting hit. But when Luna is hit, he goes to check if he's okay. Dude, what about your moons? This kinda gives an example of Mars' ignorance and hypocritical tendencies.
During the whole Moon Revolution arc, Mars didn't even notice his moons were missing. If he did know they were gone, then he didn't seem to worry about their whereabouts. Not that he doesn't care about them he just appears to be nonchalant about their welfare. Both Phobos and Deimos love Mars and he is kind to them at least. However, there is too little interaction with each other to truly understand their dynamics. But, their lack of interaction could be their dynamic. It might even explain Phobos and Deimo's behaviors; it's caused by a lack of guidance.
Dissecting the interactions with the other planets' comments on his moons, his reaction is to take offense on his part and not on his moon's behalf. When Venus was taunting Mars about his moons, Mars' first retort was Venus was simply jealous that he had moons and he didn't. For a planet that supposedly cares about what the moons are going through, he doesn't seem to show it. He got mad at Earth for saying moons should know their place yet never attempted to engage with them or include them in conversations. Mars is just as bad as the other planets' treatment of their moons. Earth didn't think what he said was that bad because the stigma was true; he just said the quiet thing out loud. Mars, unpremeditated, sees his moons as trophies and forgets they're there whenever he's not reminding others he has them. His inability to see his hypocrisy in the treatment of his moons reflects the same poor behavior he criticizes in others.
Looking closer at Phobos and Deimos dynamics, it can piece together how Mars brought up its moons. For instance, they can be identical in personality at times but Phobos (the bigger moon) is the one more in charge. Like an older sibling close in age, he's a bit bossy but comforting when the time comes. He seems to get frustrated with Deimos whenever he's socially unaware, and he is a bit more manic than him too. Deimos, on the other hand, is more naive and possibly smarter than Phobos. The two behave as a unit Phobos being the main driver and Deimos riding shotgun. However, it can be assumed Phobos does not enjoy being clumped together with Deimos. While Deimos exclaims as the moons of Mars, they should stay together before Phobos protests on their way to talk to the Sun. Both are also fixed with hyperactive feral behavior and are described by others as weird or insane. Together, this semi-paints the picture they are taking care of themselves and/or Mars is encouraging their wild behavior.
When breaking it down, Mars can be compared to a lax guardian who lets the kids play with matches. They are the smallest known moons in the solar system, yet he doesn't care to acknowledge it (I guess that can be interpreted as good, too). When the moons are declared to fight on behalf of Jupiter's return, frustratingly, none of the planets ask to pull out the moons who definitely shouldn't be in the mix. (I swear after this rant, Neptune is going to be chewed out as well.) Mars' moons are not like Luna or the other spherical moons, they can't take a hit. They also act emotionally immature so they need proper guidance. Evident, Mars may not be the best but he's what they have. Hopefully, after the battle with Planet X Arc is over Mars will try to be more responsible.

Numerology And Your Name
The Numerology of your name is insight to your character. Let's be honest, nobody is changing their name like we change solar charts every year. You most likely had your name your whole life, right? Let's look into some characteristics and energy people are likely to have just focusing on their first name as it's the strongest and most demanded. This is using regular, basic numerology because there are multiple systems people use.
Winter - This is a cute name as it is linked to the season so you automatically get fluffy or bright vibes from this name alone. Let's now break it down
W=(23)5, I=9, N=(14)5, T=2(20), E=5, R=9(18) We see that there is a pattern of 5 with this name so we know that 5 is linked to Leo in Astrology and linked to Mercury with the Numerology system. I have seen the energy play out in the astrological ways though. Looking at people with this name, we know they are likely to be feisty, sexy, and sexual. They can be spicy, creative, and complex. Likely to be deep into the party scene. 5 is the strongest energy of this person so they are likely to prioritize joyful experiences as much as they can. Notice how the W is 5 once the 2 and 3 is added. 23 is linked to high social activity. This person would be a good party host. Someone with this name also has significant 9 energy as you can see. They are good in authoritative roles, but they are likely to prefer authoritative roles in places they can also enjoy. Club owner, club host, promoter, dancer, etc. Likely have good basic life skills with the one 2 energy that they carry. This makes them efficient with money opportunities, cooking, and showing compassion, but also being comfortable with self. Winter would be a person who could be difficult to deal with and won't always be easy to handle, so she would need to grow up and mature. Change will be prominent. Winter=8
Whitney - Well known name, but not extremely common at this same time. We can see some repeating energies from the first name we did above, but let's now focus on this name in its entirety. W=5(23) H=8 I=9 T=2(20) N=5(14) E=5 Y=7(25) Whitney would share a lot of traits with winter, but with a splash of secrecy and sensitivity. Whitney would require a little more depth in her experiences, thanks to that 8 influence. She would likely do things while focusing on the long-term. She knows how to have fun, but still play for keeps. She is a hard worker and likely keeps a job. Likely came into lots of money and knows how to seize good opportunities. She likely had a little more taboo experiences than Winter(8 influence). Since Whitney is someone who likely endures many pressures in her life, her destiny # is 5 which balances out the drama and chaos she experiences. What better way to balance it out than good ole fun? Whitney=5(41)
Jasmine - Common name. Let's get into it! J=1(10) A=1 S=1(19) M=4(13) I=9 N=5(14) E=5. We can see that Jasmine has big 1 energy so that would make a person with this name innovative, impulsive, daring, bold, and active. The next significance we see is a 5 so we know Jasmine would be no stranger to sex appeal or activity. She is likely a fun loving individual who can be silly, playful, and childish, but also very protective. Where is the protective energy coming from? The 4. Any pressure or anger she has is expressed outwardly. Any excitement and urge she feels is acted on promptly. Any desires and interests she has is acted on promptly. Jasmine doesn't do anything she don't want to do. If she does anything, it's because she wanted to. Heavy 1 energy can make a person a hot head in some way. This is why changes will come to Jasmine. JASMINE=8 which is about growth, maturity, and transformation.
Mariella - Interesting name that I wanted to use for this post. Let's get into it. M=4(13) A=1 R=9(18) I=9 E=5 L=3(12) L=3(12) A=1
We can see that someone with this name has a nice 1 and 3 balance going on. Mariella likely has a good deal of initiative and social spark. She finds it easy to connect with others and there is a charm and grace to her mannerisms. She is likely proactive and good with responsibility. She likely has resourceful and intelligent friends who enrich her mentality in some way. She may sometimes talk herself out of things or downplay her capabilities. She prefers to be part of a group although she can handle things well on her own. Very high social energy. Likely to have a relaxed demeanor. People like talking to her. Could easily find herself being a manager of some sort. Would make a good marketing expert. MARIELLA=8 She will need to learn how to be more consistent as her energy initially may be scattered and she change plans often. She will also learn to be more private.
Danielle - Common name that I wanted to use. I had a friend with this name. Met her at work. Let's get into the general name of this person though. D=4 A=1 N=5(14) I=9 E=5 L=3(12) L=3(12) E=5. Someone with this name is likely to be fun loving and even funny, just like Mariella above. There could be moments where Danielle would be a little shy, but that is temporary as people with this name has very fluffy and upbeat energy. They are likely to be big on having a good time and socializing. Danielle and Mariella likely have big social networks physically, but Danielle may be the one that parties a little harder in this equation. She is always focused on where the most fun is and that is where she will go. She likes to laugh and would rather live on the bright side of things rather than worry and be sad. She won't handle sad situations how typical people may expect her to. Danielle likely has more drama in her life than Mariella, but it's more than likely linked to pettiness more than anything. Sex and fun is a highlight for Danielle. If she don't do nothing else, she's going to attend a fun event or create it. You may notice that every Danielle you know loves to be on the scene or it seems from your view that she is always on the scene. Day and night events, it doesn't matter. She would likely value friends that supports this lifestyle. It can seem like she is hard to catch up with if you are more on the controlled side. This party lifestyle is a highlight, but it isn't the end all be all which is why Danielle will change. Danielle=8 She would have to learn to take life more seriously and to smell the roses more. She will need to learn how to slow down and make sensible choices. Double 5 and double 3 energy can make someone too impulsive for their own good.
Hope you enjoyed. You can now do your own or comment and I can keep this thing going by replying and linking things together all with just a first name. This is fun and simple, especially when you dont know people's chart info.

Here’s some random headcannons I’ve been thinking about <3
Sorry for how long this got -_-
Building off the Neptune shapeshifter headcannon- Neptune is really an abomination of different sea creatures into one, kind of like a biblically correct angels, Uranus ones bagged Neptune to show him, Neps real form and was terrified of him for a good few thousands of years.
Mercury has a lot of burn marks covering is body because of the solar flares as well as at lest a few sunburns from his closeness to the sun
Mercury’s wings aren’t as fluffy or healthy as they before the sun got hotter
Venus used to have fish ears like people give Neptune from when he had life but their now dried out and shrivelled up after he lost it
Uranus used to carve asteroids in the past before paint was invented, now Earth is his art dealer and Uranus paints him pictures in return
Uranus used to make weapons in the past, he still had a few of them, but most are lost to time (aka found by the dwarf planets who now used them in their DND campaigns)
Neptune memory get better the longer his out of his orbit and can go on long rants about random science facts, Uranus loves listening to Nep while he paints, it feels the silence and gets rid of any bad thoughts Uranus might have
Neptune has a seashell that is used to worn the other planets if their is a intruder that Neptune can’t beat alone (building off Neptune being the protector of the solar system)
Neptune had become a bit of a urban legend among some of the planets and moons since hardly anyone every sees him or his moons (they like keeping to themselves) and lots thought he was just a myth made up to keep them inline, that was until Uranus managed to convince him and his moons to come out of their orbit.
Neptune has barely any social skills but he means the best and is the nicest among the planets
Saturn doesn’t like getting close to his moons (like getting to know their names) because he knows their just going to crash into him one day and he doesn’t want to go through the pain of losing a moon she was close to again
This is someone else’s headcannon, I’ll link if I can find the book but Titan used to be X’d moon but Saturn took him as a trophy after they ejected X, this is why Saturn can only remember Titans name,
In the past Saturn didn’t really see Titan as a moon but a object that’s meant to be showed off to others (his was just a war trophy to show Saturn won)
Neptune leaves all his moons with Triton so they don’t have to deal with the loneliness of his orbit and won’t go insane like Neptune did
Neptune teaches his moons everything he knows so they are pretty smart
Uranus is almost always covered in paint, even his clothing isn’t spared from the paint
Uranus made all his own clothing and has let Neptune colour onto is pants, which had only resulted in little smiley faces all over his pants and face
Both Neptune and Uranus’ moons love to sleep in their hoods since they have fur lining it, Uranus’ moons aren’t the biggest fan of him but their not going to give up a soft place to sleep, you don’t come across fluff in the solar system all that often
Neptune and Uranus would wear summer clothes 24/7 if it wasn’t for Jupiter and Saturn forcing them to wear their coats (the fluff helps)
Uranus has a leg brace from the moon that crashed into him as well as chronic pain (the reason for his tilt)
Uranus had always gotten sick more easily compared to the other giants which didn’t help when his moon crashed into him
The giants don’t know most of rocky planets, they have meet Proto in the past but now Earth can’t visit them nor can they come close to the rocky planets without putting them in danger ( they have to be really careful during suns competition)
Earth only shears the good things about having life never the bad so most planets have a false idea of what it’s like, making Venus even more jealous not realizing how much pain Earth goes through
Earth has a lot of health issues directly related to his Earthlings, this includes chronic headaches from the oil drills, poor lungs from the factory gasses, stomach aces from pollution (mostly from his waters) he also has chronic pain from the wars and the asteroids that killed his dinosaurs
Earth is incredibly worried that his Earthlings will find a better home (like earth 2.0) which is why his really defensive to other planets/moons with water
Earth’s personal is derailed a lot from his Earthlings and is extremely paranoid because of them
Thanks for coming to a late night rambling with Thunder Rose <33
I’m very sleep deprived lol

Thank Jod the Nine Houses didn't have social media or internet. If they had any Corona would've been one of those girls who posts everything on Necrogram and she would've uploaded a photo of the final battle, posing in the foreground, tagging it as "I'm about to loose my skank sister".
The Second house would've been the "leaked military document on wartunder forums" equivalent in their world if any multiplayer games were reinvented. It would happen constantly and the Sixth would just document the leaks.
The Third would be full of influencers who did their best to sell shit to people and cry when someone - probably from the sixth - called them out on it. There would be constant media campaigns insisting everything is fine on the Eight, the Seventh would be just really long update posts.
The Ninth would be the only house I can see not participating in this, but the idea of Harrow following online discourse and commanding her followers to send hate mail to their "enemies" is just infinitely funny to me.
What about Ianthe? Well, she is a flesh magician, not computer savy - wrong! You know that bitch is a control freak. She would learn how to take down websites that talked shit about her and Corona. Ianthe is the person who could break into databases and just: get away with it, for fun. She could fuck with people from across the solar system to her hearts desire, do you really think she would pass up on that opportunity? Please.
#tlt#the locked tomb#ianthe tridentarius#harrowhark nonagesimus#palamedes sextus#coronabeth tridentarius#I'm sorry I just talked with a friend from computer class and Ianthe ddos attacking someone is fucking funny to me okay

Pleasure bot Bumblebee who joins the autobot ship when the war breaks out.
He didn’t want to be aboard an autobot ship. He was on his way to a neutral planet when his transporting ship was gunned down in “friendly fire.”
His ship crashed offlining almost every bot aboard and the only reason he survived was because he transformed in time heavily damaging his alt mode.
When he woke up he was in an autobot medbay being treated by Ratchet who informed him he was on an autobot base. Bee wanted to transfer from the ship the moment he onlined but with how far they were from neutral territory he couldn’t. If decepticons saw him leave in an autobot spacepod he’d be shot down.
So Bee stayed and rejected any offers to become an autobot. He stuck to doing simple work around the ship and kept his helm down. He didn’t want autobots learning how he made a living. They typically were the bots who judged the most and did things even if they claimed to be the “good guys.”
It wasn’t until he met Optimus did he think autobots weren’t so bad. Optimus took an immense liking to Bee right away wanting the mini to keep besides himself as if he was a sparkling following their sire.
That put Bee even more in the light of others and Bee found himself knowing every bot on the ship. It was easy for bots to like him even strict bots like Ratchet and anti social mechs like Prowl. Bee didn’t particularly want to be close to any of them still and he wasn’t save for Optimus. But even then Bee kept his past to himself.
His frame was a reveal to his past of course. Being shaped like a femme did not help him any but since his pleasure bot stamp was hidden none knew. He was thankful Ratchet didn’t check his the fuel globe mesh on his chassis. That meant he didn’t know Bee was a pleasure bot or that he was a carrying mech.
Of course Bee long had his reproductive tank sealed shut, sure it was done illegally with dangerous methods but thats just how things worked before war broke out. Better to be a pleasure bot than a breeding bot.
Not that he liked either option.
He just picked the one with less complications.
Only complications still came when the autobots ship ran into the decepticon ship with none other than Megatron and his golden army.
The battle was intense and left both ships heavily damaged. Bee was taken to a part of the ship that was supposed to be safe but nothing was ever truly safe.
The door was broken in half and in walked one of the last mechs Bee thought he would ever get to see again.
“Hummel?”
Bee doesn’t know how much time passed as he stared at the large mech who once looked so different. The mech he used to laugh with under the solar system when they had a chance to meet. The mech he’d buy extra energon for so he could take it back to his friends and trine. The mech he once let stay in his suite when his own was burned down by the counsel. It turned into the two living together permanently and though the mech didn’t like his line of work he respected him and went out of his way to make sure he was safe.
The mech would sneak him treats that were his favorite and draw him when he was recharging in his berth or on his lap.
It was the best Bee ever felt.
But then one day the seeker just disappeared and Bee was crushed.
He once thought the worst had happened to him but now. Now he just wishes to be wrapped in his arms as he demands to know what happened and why he abandoned him.
“Frostwing?”
“I go by Blitzwing now, bug.”
“Blitzwing,” the name still tasted of cyber honey on his tongue and Bee found himself shedding a droplet from his optic which Blitzwing caught.
Bee hadn’t seen him move yet he didn’t feel threatened, he knew the mech was dangerous now if his speed was anything to go by. Yet he felt..old and new. A familiar stranger was holding him and he couldn’t stop himself from seeing the decepticon insignia.
Blitzwing halted in hesitation but Bumblebee laid a servo on his chassis above his engine and spark and leaned in with a smile.
“Vill jou come vith me hummelchan?”
“With you Blitzwing,” his spark pulsed deep, “always.”

More observations on my solar return chart (2024) pt. 3

Saturn in my 9th house was definitely to blame for my senioritis.
I had moon in Libra in the 5th house and I didn’t realize this till recently but I was watching lots of law related tv shows. Libra rules law, courts, judges, and the 5th house rules entertainment and acting. The shows that I was watching this year were ‘How to get away with murder’ & ‘Suits’. And I was also contemplating watching Law & Order too but it’s soo long 😭
Gemini on the rising and I was thinking a lot this year. Curious about everything, googling random things at times, also contemplating getting a car and doing research on it
Jupiter square Pluto for me meant lots of struggles in letting go when it came to my belief systems and trying to let go of having control over the people around me
Venus in the 6th house and i had a decent time at work with some of my coworkers but it squaring Saturn also meant feeling like I was always doing the work and that it was really one sided, getting into arguments with some of them about them not working efficiently, and managers constantly having to reinforce policies on us. My mars was also in Capricorn and people complained that I was being bossy a lot too but really they just couldn’t handle constructive criticism.
My Gemini chart ruler in the 7th house in Sagittarius plus Jupiter and Uranus in the 11th house and it’s safe to say that these were the placements that meant that I’d attract certain classmates at school and that I’d be socializing and communicating with them. I wouldn’t call them my friends but I did have a good time with them during that time I spent in school
Rising plus my chart ruler(mercury) at 22° and I still can’t make out what this meant for me this year. I’ve heard people say a lot about this being a critical degree but idk I feel like I didn’t experience it to the full extent of what people say it means. Lmk in the comments if you can interpret what it could have meant for me and I’ll see if I can relate

If Earth is a boy now…. WHY DID HE NOT GET RID OF TITTES????
did he keep them for fun??
Like someone calls him a girl and he like “Ooo! Sorry pal, I’m just a guy with boobs!”
LIKE HUH?
ok so i know i didnt answer this ask for a while bc i. forgot. but its been rattling around in my head bc it is genuinely the funniest thing ever i am SO sorry op
but i WILL use this time to talk about my hcs!!! and go in depth with them. going in order so if just you want an explanation for earth just skip to his section
SUN — sits comfortably somewhere in the transmascneu range i think. pangender, encompasses anything and everything. makes little to no effort into really transitioning simply because he has better things to do! he has a solar system to run! also he is above the concepts of gender. whether you think hes more "masc" or "fem" means nothing to him. hes the sun.
MERCURY — the most trans transmasc to ever trans. i dont know if hes more male or nonbinary leaning but that honestly just depends on the day for me personally. probably more nby. he 100% would go through with physically transitioning because the dysphoria is killer
VENUS — literally the complete opposite to mercury, the most trans transfem to ever fem. honestly see her as more butchy, but only really becomes more comfortable with being more masc once she has transitioned (transitioning in this case just meaning socially, though physically i imagine shes on the fence abt it. change and whatnot. she does have a bit of a chest though i think #boobs)
EARTH — transmasc like mercury, but unlike mercury he does not give a FUCKKK!!! i think you're confusing my earth for a trans man, which he very much is not considering hes a lesbian LMFAO. i see him being more bigender/genderfluid than anything, he doesnt really care to transition physically bc he likes his body! he likes the mother earth thing yk. obnoxiously transgender but you still cant misgender him. tragic. also yes he did keep them for fun
MARS — transneu but also doesnt gaf. like im dead serious he did NOTHING to transition no prn change no nothing he just woke up one day and said im agender. hes so iconic
JUPITER — cis i fear... but hes the biggest ally u will ever meet
SATURN — TRANSFEM!!!!! but in a yaoiful way. you know? physically transitioned but still considers himself somewhat male adjacent? but not really??? basically can be described as "what i look like with he/him pronouns in my bio"
URANUS — also transfem! serious gender envy from saturn. shes veeery jealous and i imagine just figured out that shes Girl recently. also dont think it helps that she has a big fat crush on saturn but you didnt hear that from me! i think venus is also gets envious of her and saturn... ura also wants to continue transitioning but i see her as more mid-process
NEPTUNE — transmascneu adjacent!!! genderfluid like earth, doesnt mind being called anything. forgets what pronouns he uses on a regular basis so he'll just respond to whatever you call him LMFAOOO. hes too busy being a goober to persue any kind of physical transition i think but i do like to imagine him with fun top scars.... mayhaps wavey... or trident.... idk it just looks silly with his gills n i like it
NON-PLANET BONUS SPEEDROUND: luna is transfem and nby, titan is nby, triton is unlabeled, callisto is nby, ceres is.... Um, pluto is transfem, astrodude is transmasc, makemake is transmasc, ganymede is.... closeted??, titania is transmasc and nby, the list goes on im sick of writing these

part 0.05. intros. OIKAWA'S EMOTIONAL SUPPORT GROUP
NOW FEATURING...
THE STAR AND HIS PLANETS ‧₊˚✩彡

oikawa tooru .°˖✧
seijoh’s volleyball captain and distant uncle of the team (most certainly not a co-parent). did not realize that what he felt for y/n was romantic until their first year in secondary school when she tried to distance herself and now he feels stupid. whenever he needs to be put in his place (e.g. after leading on another girl too much) he can always count on iwa to talk him down and remind him about how badly he’s messed up </3 currently pining after y/n without making it obvious because he’s scared of ruining what they have in case y/n doesn’t like him the same way back - follows y/n's private on his main and private in case she ever decides to give him a second chance </3 - known for unfollowing people when he wants to say something without someone in specific knowing (e.g. ranting about the one sided mental war he's fighting with kenma inside his head without kuroo knowing). once he feels that his point has been made, he'll delete the post and follow the person again so that they can see his private (y/n uses this and the picture he leaked as reason for why she's never letting him back onto her private when in reality they're just excuses to be able to indirectly post about him without him ever knowing)
FEATURING...

iwaizumi hajime & bokuto koutaro .°˖✧
iwa-chan
co-parenting seijoh with y/n. also their ace and vice captain. will have an aneurysm if neither tooru nor y/n make a move on each other. he loves y/n but he will only be able to handle oikawa for so much longer. maybe he’d be able to last if he got to go to y/n’s girls nights more but that’s kuroo’s role while he has to attend tooru’s boys nights as his best man. he’s feeling a little bit like atlas rn but he knows it’ll be worth it in the end (if they ever get to the end).
bokuto
FUKURODANI’S ACE !!! found his way into the solar system after a practice match between fukoridani and seijoh. he could tell immediately that something was up between their manager and captain. he had fun getting to know oikawa and felt like he had seen their manager before. bo talked it over with akaashi, asking him if he felt like there was something going on between seijoh’s manager and captain. akaashi nodded and then was shocked when he fully processed how socially aware bo was being. he then answered bo that yes, he had seen their manager before because she was good friends with kuroo. after that, he knew who to talk to in order to get the details ❤️ his entrance into the gc went as follows: oikawa: why was bokuto just added to the gc kuroo: he would like to speak for himself your honor bokuto: I KNOW YOUR SECRET
FEATURING...

matsukawa issei & hanamaki takahiro .°˖✧
mattsun
seijoh’s middle blocker and one of five third years. him and makki are just there for a good time, and watching essentially four people and a few more distant people try and manage the mutual pining of two idiots who might as well be blind qualifies as entertaining. he’s taken it upon himself to maintain the mental stability of the team whenever oikawa’s messes up and sends y/n through the five stages of grief--starting with setting up the net for the team
makki
seijoh’s outside hitter and one of five third years. is thinking that perhaps him and mattsun should get onto the trend of co-parenting and adopting someone. they’ve assumed the role of the grandparents that seijoh’s team has to put up with whenever y/n or iwa are out of commission LMAO both him and mattsun usually get oikawa’s side of the story but sometimes they work together to try and fit the vague, out-of-context tweets on y/n’s private into the puzzle of oikawa’s stories
not featured:
kuroo tetsuro </3
currently undercover for y/n but he can’t complain. is still good friends with oikawa and as a result hears about a lot of his feelings in their groupchat but when it comes down to it he’s on y/n’s side. neither oikawa nor y/n realize how much information both iwa and kuroo have because they’re good at what they do. kuroo’s trying his best to alleviate iwa’s stress as he continues to watch the disaster of miscommunication occur between his two childhood friends that's been happening since they were kids
full picture of what oikawa posted to his private bc unfortunately it's not an upside down dick </3

5566 — Planet Ourea
Classification: Terrestrial Group - Tectonic Class - EuGaian - Paludial Gaian - Bathy pelagic
[See Resources for definitions/explanations, the post I got them from did some amazing work.]
This planet is located outside of the normal solar system, and its current location has been lost to time.
(Terra Quadrant - Māter Sector - 7° - 62° - 42°)
Terrain & Ecosystem: Boreal zone
The planet is almost entirely comprised of mountainous regions, the mountains made completely of rock, assumed at one point in history to have been the tectonic plates of the planet, but the truth has been lost to time. Between the walls of mountains there lies valleys, abundantly filled with life. Many of the valleys are filled with taiga forests and freshwater lakes, however there are some deciduous forests scattered amongst the coniferous taiga forests all over the planet amongst mountains. The mountains however only take up around half of the planet, the other half is an abundant and deep ocean, with some manmade sea stack island, as some of the more aquatic or recluse species and individuals refused to move on land or to live in the mountains.
Social Climate: Democracy
many of the areas inside the openings in the mountains lack any land to begin with, which is why they've probably adapted a way for sea life to get up to said cities, like a water elevator or smthin, or like a water proof teleportation pad
The planet adapted to the mountainous environments by building homes and cities along the mountainsides, where all walks of life lived from the sky to the land and sea. They built systems to get up and down the mountains, and even to get into the ocean from one point to another with ease, allowing ocean stacks to visit the mainland when needed. Due to the abundant resources and knowledge on the planet however, it became a supply point and rest stop, the economy boosted by the visitors coming and going from the planet. It was visited often enough that the space riders had an unofficial station located on the planet for any business they needed to conduct. Strict laws were set in place so the planet was not over harvested for its natural resources, and those laws were passed down and improved upon over thousands of years until they could have easily been considered sacred to the inhabitants of the planet, the punishment of violation often ending in exile or death, though everyone always had a vote in the matter, and all opinions were heard out. Many markets had currency exchange areas to allow those from other worlds to be able to purchase until there was a standardized currency declared and used widespread. Merchants and merchandise were subjected to laws to ensure regulation standards were followed when it came to the buying and selling of goods, but it was also to keep track on the resources heading out so they could abide by the harvesting regulations. They had a bustling economy and a diverse population up till the end.
Native race/species: Anthropoeidís
Also known as Beast Folk in layman's terms, the Anthropoeidís species is a group of highly intelligent organisms, akin to humans or critters, that originate from the planets oldest living species of animals, and evolved over thousands of years. The history of each different animal is passed down its species line to what was current day before the destruction of the planet.
Status: Destroyed - Necro Gaian
Annihilated by the Prototype. The cult laid siege to the planet, captured any inhabitants possible, then destroyed the planet. First flooded it with red smoke, then completely destroyed into rubble. Disrupted the ecosystem and killed all life.
TLDR: Planet core got pumped so full of smoke that it imploded.

books i read 2024. idk if this is a complete list but it's the memorable ones. not in any particular order
Samuel Delany — Trouble on Triton (1976)
in the running for my favorite Delany and certainly his best conventional SFF I've read. this was apparently his response to the Dispossessed and it's got its parallels — planets encrusted with the histories and hierarchies of long centuries contrasted with utopic(?) projects on moons, and protagonists not entirely at home in either place — but the details are in many ways inverted. lots of genuinely funny jokes: my favorite is the one about the Thomists. second best is that it would be a grand sweeping tragedy of flawed attempts at utopia and political maneuverings across the solar system, except the protagonist is a self-absorbed asshole who doesn't give a shit. Delany's got a real talent for social and psychological realism, and in particular for displaying the neuroses and unpleasantnesses we wish we didn't recognize in ourselves.
Samuel Delany — Nevèrÿon series (1979-1985)
this is actually a whole series of fantasy stories ranging from short to novel-length, three volumes of which I read last year (I still haven't finished the ones collected as Return to Nevèrÿon (1987)). it's basically an exploration of semiotics and power and myth through a world that's just invented writing and is in the process of inventing a lot of other things. most of the stories were good but not as good as Triton or Dhalgren; the fantasy setting serves as a way to explore oversimplified and archetypal versions of things, which I'm not always on board with artistically or philosophically. but I did enjoy how characters would cross paths and reappear in each other's stories, and some of the stories were among his best. even the ones that felt too much like authorial rants had great moments. v fun frame narrative also.
the clear standout is The Tale of Plagues and Carnivals, the other competitor for my favorite Delany. it was written during the early days of the AIDS crisis before the cause of AIDS was known (the virus now known as HIV had been identified but not confirmed responsible). the tale goes back and forth between a story of a plague in Nevèrÿon and realistic accounts of New York gay life across classes at the time, eventually blurring the lines and calling into question its own realism. it's stylistically striking, captures well the atmosphere of a terrifying period, and (I think) wouldn't hit nearly as hard if you skip the prior Nevèrÿon stories which give the context of the fantasy segments.
James Grehan — Twilight of the Saints: Everyday Religion in Ottoman Syria and Palestine (2016)
this one's a very dense academic book. the accounts of the complete lack of centralized religious authority, and the common features of everyday religion regardless of nominal faith or sect, were very interesting (Christians praying at shrines to the Companions, etc). I didn't take much away from the many tables of data like precise numbers of mosques and churches in and around each notable town of the 19th century Ottoman Levant, though I did have a fun time looking through them.
Iannis Xenakis — Formalized Music: Thought and Mathematics in Composition (1971)
genuinely fascinating book. Xenakis details various mathematical approaches to composition: several variants on stochastics, game theory, set theory, some others — none of them are specifically relevant to my current practice but it was illuminating to see how he thinks about them. it was written as essays from 1955 to 1971 and has 8 pages of FORTRAN code to produce stochastic music including a whole data segment of seemingly random numbers. his predictions on the future of electronic music have not all been borne out, but he identifies some of the exact same tendencies you can see in discussions of computer-generated art today.
Xenakis additionally discusses philosophy of music; he's very concerned with what he calls "outside-time structure" and sees a total poverty of it in modern Western music, compared to the complex harmonic systems of many other traditions including Byzantine music. he attributes this to the "blindness" caused by polyphony. he's got very strong opinions and doesn't sugarcoat them: serial music's "ignorant dogmatism" is a complete doubling-down on Western music's "blindness" which results in "auditory and ideological nonsense", he has some choice words for aleatoric composers ("logical infirmities", "the problem of choice is betrayed"), and polyphony itself is "a highly original invention of the barbarous and uncultivated Occident following the schism of the churches".
Imre Lakatos — Proofs and Refutations (1976)
one of the best works of phil of math i've read. much needed counter to the dominant (in math education and popular perception if not serious phil of math) deductive perspective of reasoning from True axioms to Certain proofs. it's about 130 pages of very readable prose dialogue, not overly dense or formal, between "students" representing different perspectives on mathematical practice; the book eventually endorses "the method of proofs and refutations" in which definitions and proofs are generated by different ends of the same process, hypotheses and arguments revised as they run into counterexamples and failures. dialectically, one might say.
Paul Feyerabend — Against Method (1975)
Feyerabend has a compelling case that standard philosophies of science are incorrect because scientists don't follow philosophically approved approaches, a plausible assertion that there aren't enough similarities between scientific discipline to even support a unified philosophy of science, and a rather odd philosophy of society that I could inaccurately call "liberal left-Leninism". I'm sympathetic to the argument that science's institutional authority has done lots of fucked up shit, but if you're trying to argue that we need a diversity of traditions, maybe don't argue that "independently of participation in a tradition, there is not much to choose between humanitarianism and anti-Semitism". one suspects he was trying to absolve himself for his participation in the Wehrmacht.
Penelope Maddy — Realism in Mathematics (1990)
I tore through this one over the past couple days, so it's not technically 2024, but it's still early January so whatever. I enjoyed it, but I was hoping for modern arguments in favor of mathematical platonism. while Maddy was a realist at this point, she was more physicalist than platonist, and mainly concerned with the reality of sets — she's perfectly happy to dismiss the reality of numbers-as-objects. personally insofar as I accept the existence of composite objects I think sets are mostly fine to accept as real and physical (except for concerns around time-dependence and identity re: extensionality), but I don't think composites do anything ontologically that the arrangement and relationships of their parts can't. since 1990 apparently she's rejected any substantial realism, so I need to read her more recent works which sound like they share many of my intuitions. but I'm still in the market for a good modern platonist.
W. E. B. Du Bois — Black Reconstruction (1935)
my book club read most of this in 2023 but we finished it in February so I'm counting it. really incredible book, it's hard to overstate its influence. Du Bois's account of emancipation and Reconstruction as a revolutionary moment betrayed (paralleling somewhat the moments of 1848 in Europe) is deeply compelling, if perhaps overly rosy about the American project. he was barred access to most Southern archives so it's extraordinary how much historical detail he was able to put together from what seemed like mostly newspaper articles. the chapters that focused on regional detail got somewhat bogged down as far as we were concerned but presumably are relevant to more academic historians; the chapters that take a broader view are very clear and incisive, laying out the material and psychological stakes for the various factions and their shifting alignments (culminating in the unified white counterrevolution that eventually crushed Reconstruction). he's really good at moving between academic and poetic modes as appropriate.
in progress (alone or collectively), so i'm not gonna comment yet:
Samuel Delany — Return to Nevèrÿon
Alain Badiou — Being and Event
CLR James — Black Jacobins
idk who all — Homotopy Type Theory (I'm not far in).
some textbook on categorical logic of which I got through a couple chapters. I would like to go back but am not convinced I will. at least I did do the exercises for those chapters; I need to get better at doing that w math books.

Character Thoughts on Lawrence Limburger.
I had some thoughts about Lawrence Limburger from Biker Mice from Mars. I have finished watching first season and IDK it got me thinking how vile the man is.
So he's a really good business man and politician in the worst way possible. If he was human villain he would be quoting Sun Tzu or some modern age Steve Jobs I bet. Because all those pretentious villains do.
His schemes most of the time appear to be acts of good will and philantropy which is the worst kind of villain. To public he is benevolent if not awfully stinky and ridiculous man. His company most likely has an excellent working conditions as he tries to maintain a certain image with the human public. Plus the constant destruction of his tower he HAS to have great bonuses to keep people from quitting. Like in the episode introducing the Loogi Brothers, he took time to personally answer the calls from angry office workers. Illusions of good persona are so importat to him, otherwise how else will you steal Earth right from under humanity's nose?
I mean I am certain he must have bribed his way into ruining Chicago to the state it is now to a certain degree but I doubt anyone would be able to track it to him directly or if they did they probably got disposed of. I would have loved an episode with a news reporter doing an investigation on some suspicious activity and finding Limburger got his fingers in it and then running into Mice while running for their life.
I bet while some in Chi-Town, those who worked with Biker Mice in the past, would see them as heroes those who don't see them as menaces most likely, frequent destruction of property is certainly a reason to dislike them. I bet construction companies love them tho lol. The constant rebuilding of Limburger Tower must be making them a bank.
I think it's interesting how the show must look to the regular Chicago person from the outside. We only see Mice as heroes bc that's how the show presents it.
Great Cheese is cunning, two face and slimy, villain that if not for the rules of the genre of the show would be a serious threat which explains and gives chilling insight on just how easily Mars got stripped mined in the first place. Just look at all the social projects evil schemes he presented to the public:
solar power plant in exchange of the outdated (?) sewage system/cleaning plant
free services for evacuating the city during earthquakes
free cleanup from a toxic spill (nevermind it was destroying the park in the process and the toxins were his inventions - the public didn't know that or other options of how to deal with it)
a new subway tunnel
This is what the public knows of him. We have the knowledge of Limburger being a land stealing intergalactic oligarch (regular American businessman LOL) because the show wants us to know this. To a regular person who only hears about him from the news he's next best thing in the world. No surprise he managed to stay on top in Chicago until Biker Mice came bc they are the only ones with first hand experience of his "benevolence" always having a flip side. If not for his cartoonish looks and behaviour in the show he could have been on Xanatos level of villain but he is played more for gags rather than serious tone of Gargoyles.
But he keeps losing (thankfully). The difference here between the villain and heroes is the most classic one. His closest employees have no loyalty to him unlike Biker Mice who rely heavily on their loyalty to each other and trust each other (the famous Power of Friendship and unspeakable voilence lmao). Like the Great Cheese himself often states - "it's so hard to find good help these days".
To sum it up - Limburger is skilled politician/business man and if the show had any other tone than parody he would have destroyed Earth in like a month (exaggerating here). Fortunately for the show's world Mice are the Mongols to Limburger's Roman Empire and firmly thwarth all of his schemes.
Because Friendship and unspeakbable violence LOL.
Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk. Also I am really curious how the Ryan Reynolds reboot gonna portray the Stinky Cheese.

I’m sure this contradicts like 6 different things I’ve never heard of but kriff it, here’s my two cents on the idea of “The Holonet”
Now I love a good internet and/or outsider POV fanfic, but the idea of copy-pasting the internet into the GFFA prequel era….puts an even heavier load on the suspension of disbelief. So here’s my headcanons. NOTE: Strictly communication-only technology such as voice comms or 3D hologram calls are a completely separate situation, touched on below. Television programs, social media for both text and images, videogame spheres, encyclopedias, and the WWW of the million random websites are what I mean when I refer to “the Internet.” Or, the Holonet.”
Holonet has meant different things over our coarse of 67 years in the GFFA. The concept of the internet existing to the galaxy at large in the same way as it does to us in our modern Earth does not become a thing until the New Republic’s reign. Before the Clone Wars, planets—at least those wealthy and centrally populated enough to merit it—had their own insular internet ecosystems among their populations. However, the networks were unconnected and only serviced the planets orbited by the satellites they were built off of. Maybe one or two solar systems of several highly-integrated planets had stretched systems to connect the entire neighboring populations, but that’s as far as it got.
Put simply, Onderon might have had its own Snapchat, and Naboo might have had its own Twitter, but they were inaccessible unless you were on that planet, in range of its satellites. Someone on Onderon had no access to Naboonian hot takes, vice-versa. Side note! Entertainment like movies & television are a high commodity export/import for some planets, but pre-20s ABY (galactic streaming services….) they were distributed outside their planet of production as physical media only. Picture: Clone barracks with a DVD shelf.
Naturally, little changed about this during the Clone Wars. Political walls made bridging the gap of interstellar space even tougher than they already did in peacetime; connections between CIS and GR civilizations were dragged back in time, if anything. In the Empire’s reign, great advancements in technology were made, but little got to be publicly proposed or implemented, as the Empire wanted the galaxy to stay as it was.
The New Republic, however, ushered in a new era of social connectivity in the galaxy and one could equate the 10s-30s ABY with the 1990s-2010s in terms of the internet’s explosion into normalcy. I made this up as a headcanon because…a whole lot of things between the prequels to originals get put on quite shaky grounds if the galaxy can just casually compare notes so easily, and especially if backlogged wealths of knowledge such as Wikipedia (Spikipedia?) existed. One of Korkie’s classmates ain’t livetweeting Maul & Viszla’s duel for someone working in the jedi temple to stumble across; preteen Syril Karn ain’t reading his feed debate the moral logistics of calling the Chancellor an Emperor in the context of the Sith Wars. However, I absolutely could see those things coming into fruition after the Empire’s tyranny is ended, and if you compared the 30s ABY to the rise of echo-chamber fascism on the Internet in the 2020s, the First Order’s existence becomes a little more believable. Teenage Poe brags to Rebellion enthusiasts in GalacTube comment sections that he was born on Yavin IV and later he introduces Rey to Lothal’s feline meme culture. I think the Moomins of Bespin would spark joy in Finn.
When Bounty Hunters refer to “the Holonet” they’re likely talking about all the holonets. BHs roam so much that their own network of he-said-she-said is constantly plugged in to as many planetary underworlds as they could wish. When a civilian says something like “it’s all over the holonet” they’re either talking about something relative to their planet’s society, or something has spread through mainstream news until multiple planets are insularly talking about something big. When a Bounty Hunter says the same thing, they’re more so just saying “everyone’s talking about it”
Hologram communication is easier to transmit through lightyears than a whole Web is, especially when you consider how stuttery and staticky it canonically is—which is treated as normal. Trailing along the edges of the galaxy’s hyperspace shipping lanes are a huge network of satellites which communicate with each other, data jumping from one to the next until it reaches the destination it’s meant for. Cell towers in space. This network, made only for calls, was constructed by a great diplomatic effort of the Republic centuries before the Clone Wars. It was long suggested that this same system could be refitted with better technology and used to create a Galactic Holonet as well, but such concepts died in the carpets of politics many a-time before the Empire levied even harsher nos. This is the concept that the NR eventually revisits.
Even on the case of planetary holonets, only the peaceful & developed planets had ones similar to the internet we’re all on. The majority of the Outer Rim sans a few rich independent worlds, such as Mon Cala or Raxus, were more comparable to the online connectivity of developing countries on Earth. Wealthy or urban citizens may have access—if their government or corporations have even built a holonet for themselves at all—but a great many do not. Luke probably wasn’t on Tatooineblr*, but Leia might have occasionally browsed Alderreddit. Coruscant has a massive holonet but it is mostly inhabited by surface-citizens or upper-layer working class people. Those who reside deeper in the depths have more in common with the Outer Rim than with the Core.
(*Tatooine would be one of the planets without a holonet at all but I couldn’t turn down the joke)
In the case of the Jedi, information about them was abundant if you searched, but it all went greatly ignored by the general populace who didn’t have much reason to care—beside the occasional user of CorusTube who found them fascinating or whatever. Mostly you’d just find aesthetic photography of the temple, “that’s not how the force works” memes, (….oh there’s definitely discourse on “The Force”. So much discourse. The Empire really had to go over this shit with a molecule-toothed comb. There was probably a guy who’d rile up arguments just to whip out a video of a Jedi levitating a boulder as a douchey checkmate) or romanticizing the monk lifestyle. It wasn’t until the New Republic that their legacy was rebuilt, partially by the emergence of Spikipedia.
In the 10s ABY I could definitely see an explosion of new things posted to the burgeoning Galactic Holonet as Imperial censorship is done away with and old videos or diaries of the prequel era return to the public eye—now a larger, more public eye than ever before. Maybe a small portion of those aesthetic photos for #JediLife that Corusgram seemed obsessed with for a couple years in the 20s BBY are being reposted, reshared. Maybe people in the most random places in the galaxy can finally speak about their parents’ memories of compassionate Jedi or of how the Galaxy was before the Empire. In other places, though, Imperial warlords have discovered whole new ways of new recruitment in this era of rapid change.
Also, the mode of accessing the Holonet is pretty uniform across the galaxy and doesn’t change much with time. Phones aren’t really a thing; you either have datapads the size of tablets which perform the same functions as them, or more portable communicators (often cylindrical, but they vary) which can only make calls or show 2D images.
#Also the galaxy learned very quickly that wookiees are the best shitposters ever.#anyone else think Ezra ran a gimmick blog on Lothalblr precanon or is that just me#star wars#holonet#star wars headcanons#star wars worldbuilding#first order#new republic

wild blue yonder
the tardis can regenerate itself...... !!! I mean, wait we knew that already kjhkjh but I just connected the dots now that... that means The Time Lords mined and mauled the child just to make their cars better, as well. Damn...
in classic who u used to have to use ur imagination to pretend everything wasn’t a wobbly set... now u have to use ur imagination to pretend everything isn’t a greenscreen :/
"is that who i am now?" the shocking thing isn’t that he is gay (that’s what donna interprets) the shock to himself is voicing how horny he is lol
Someone is gonna say gravity and that's gonna be fucking weird
"it would take trillion years to get that far” chills!
"no one is ever been this far. till us. and this ship" colonialism fiction dna shining thru
“you little streak” <3
"she'll move on" "not shaun, he'll go to that alleyway every year..." \ten at the alleyway to see rose parallel....
Ghost aroma!!!
blue and orange motif....…………… 13 aesthetic moments.... [13 and Swarm coded? / aka entropy/life coded?/donna and the doc...]
“maybe there's a tribe and they worship it… (…) time passes and the city falls... and there's the tardis" beautiful!! I'm could do somth w/ re: w/ the doctor and their companions. (eyes emoji)
"it got complicated" UNDERSTATEMENT OF A CENTURY #2
"The notion of shape is strange." "it limits" literally current architecture theory
This is so nofna solar system-core
love a classic “anti matter hates matter” story
[the no-bodies…?....cousins to the the could have been king ... with his army of never wheres…?]
This feels very [doctor trying to figure out their body in each regeneration] [intentionally?] this is so end of evangelion poster-core
"it’s strange enough my face coming back, but not this big" / [metaphor for reboots?]
This episode is like the clamoring for us to get a castrovalva 2 escher-like world again next season
"that's not gonna work either" i love these idiots
"why does it have to be one last trip?" rtd ringing moffat / gatiss / gardner / etc and being like like -
ok but follow this reasoning: if the doctor is the same person bc they keep their memories (as the show makes a point of.... constantly) ... and if the memories make the person ... then indeed an entity that copies the memories is the same person, is it not? Where do we draw the line between who’s “real” and who isn’t, in this scenario?
A CREATION I DEVASTATED / literally watched WoM two seconds before this w/ ten all "everything i do just makes it happen" sdjsdkf this is what i mean when i say the doctor has never Processed anythingggg since that Bottom Pit moment
"it wasn't your fault" "i know! (but it stil sucks!!!)" me at therapy like
"WHY DOES HE NEED YOU?" me, Pavlovian tone: because he is lonely...
“when something is gone, it keeps existing” → highlight this!!!! this is gonna be the new thesis statement about Grief!!! this is gonna be The Point for the next 4 years lol
It's very fun to watch this after marath6ning all of ten's era bc it's like... that boy never processed any of that shit. did 11 process shit? did 12? 12 maybe a little but really i think they just got even more trauma (bill ): ) dkdksks and don't get me started on 13. basically what im saying is the doctor Never did get a break on between waters of mars up until now... [and i guess to go further never did get a break after since like....... freaking ghost light skskskskkjkj seven is still There. we don't think about that enough.]
Donna being a clone fucker is not a headcanon ever thought i had but im glad its been confirmed now "donma doesn't think she"s stupid" im sure rtd has launched this exact same rant on so some unwilling family members while browsing ao3 "stop copying and make up your own minds" social commentary / commentary on reboots again / core "individualism > society" dr. who 101 messaging
The not things are kinda.... cute? skdksk if they weren't murderous they look like ppl to hang out w/ and play videogames......
"what do you want?" "you tell us" fundamental doctor-companion dialogue....
"love letters don't travel very far" put a pin on that...
ok.... ARGHGHGHH LET ME THINK THINK THINK skskks me failing at CBT be like
What if the doctor is from our universe. what then the doctor being like we have to mill ourselves immediately feels very 13
this is like "what if turn left and midnight but they go through it together this time <3" fic "where the walls are thin and anything is possible" eyes emoji
"that copy was 99% donna" so maybe re:earlier... what the show is saying between copy vs real is that it's all about the x factor, the 1%....
CONCLUSIONS! lived up to the hype! i think it's a bit 13-era vibe in that it's clearly influenced by all the prestige space-base-isolation scifi we see in the ~cinema now every year. the aesthetic is hitting that vibe (and going to the root, there's also a very clear Alien influence). kinda wish we had more one offs just like this one :( bc i feel the other 2 specials have too much Work to do, so there's not enough time to do.Fun like lore and character stuff. Execution wise is very successful. the switcheroos work. the callbacks work. there's a lot of character stuff happening ("I just realized I'm still working through that!") but it doesn't interfere w/ the adventure itself. My one grip is there's a couple shots that do feel too green-screen-y, but overall the ep is visually amazing. def only a story you could do now. also I love that the NMDs were like "rtd is gonna retcon the timeless child!!! everyone hated it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" and he was like "cool. now watch this" lollll king moments. rare moments where it feels like we live in the best timeline.
#i think there's More stuff to analyze in this one but i need some time to Digest It#and some rewatches#dw spoilers#wild blue yonder#dw

Neptune from the Royal Au (everything will be redone in digital art when I have more energy!)

HISTORY~
Neptune’s kingdom is known as the forever frozen kingdom, one forged from war and bloodshed from battles long gone, during the multiple wars they were under control of the Sun’s empire and any battle Sun got into so did they, meaning they very war torn for much of their history until the Great War that involved many of the Solar System kingdoms, Neptune was not welling to give up easily as they raised above all else to stay alive and keep their citizens safe.
Sun gave them their independence after this as they couldn’t keep their many colonies under control any long as Sun needed to focus on his own Kingdom.
Clothing~
Warmth is the upmost important as it is almost always snowing or cold out, so they wear multiple layers that keep them warm will also expressing their nation pride, on Neptune’s coat you can see their nation flower that is royal purple and fish, as they have a booming fishing industry (more on it later) underneath the coat is a pale white dress, to keep focus on the elaborate coat, it is light and flowing, as to make it easy to move and not weigh them down, the veil is to keep their head/ears warm and having a layer between her head and crown, as metal can get really cold.
For the braids it’s tradition from the start of their villages to have two braids with dark blue ribbons in their hair for the first daughter, while the other younger daughter wear light blue instead, it shows their maturity and wellness to serve their citizens and are passed down by their mother after they hit puberty, believing that is when they are mature enough to know the responsibility they are excepting by taking the ribbon, this is also a huge celebration that the girl are trained for since they were little.
Extra~
Neptunes kingdom has a lot of bright colours to keep their moods up in the cold weather, it also help other find their way between towns in case of storm comes in. Even if it’s cold out everyone is pretty happy and friendly for those brave enough to visit despite the cold.
They are mostly known as a ice fishing nation, which is how they get most of their fish since the ice makes it hard to fish normally, they sell the freshest and best tasting fish on the market right next to Earth (something she is not happy about lol) if anyone is brave enough to visit it’s for the sea food :)
Neptune has memory loss after part of a castle collapsed onto her during the war, she was only six at the time and has a long lasting consequences because of it, those being memory loss/trouble and phantom pain that strikes up sometime leaving her bedridden.
Uranus parents are the cause of the castle collapse and while they didn’t mean to hurt such a small child, it was collateral from the war effort, Neptune’s parents were wary of Neptune hanging with Uranus (this is long after the war) but lighted after they saw how much it helped with Neptune’s memory problems as well as making Neptune more social then she was before. Now the parents are more friendly with each other, often going over to Uranus nation a few times a year (Uranus would go over to Neptune’s but had health problems which are also consequence from the war more on it in Uranus section)
Neptune is very close with Uranus and they try to keep in touch via mail, she is not as close to the other gas giants but is friendly with them.
She doesn’t really know the rocky planets, maybe when she was younger but can no longer remember anything about them, same with Sun even if she was their ruler for years
I’m probably going to post Uranus’ next, I’ve been really enjoying making up stories for all the different kingdoms and what their kingdoms would be like, if anyone else want so join in I’ll be happy to share it and talk with them to bounce ideas off each other!
Here’s so extra drawing I’ve made, mostly for the villagers outfits
