“It's our world, it's lost…dying, because we didn't fight for it when we had a chance. Now we’re fighting for yours. We’re going to make a difference here. Together.” Priya passionately declared as she looked at you sincerely. Then her eyes widened as she remembered something, “Oh! So’lek was hoping to catch you too. Promised him I wouldn't forget. Tell him I didn’t forget !”
You giggled at how cute and bubbly Priya was, out of all the humans here at the resistance base, you liked her cheerful mannerisms a lot. You could tell that she would be a wonderful friend to have. You nodded and thanked her before you head over to find So’lek.
As you slowly walked through the base, your mind had shifted to the recent events that occurred while you and the others were at the TAP facility a day ago. The reason for the shift being a certain resistance Na’vi.
Oel ngati kameie. I see you.
Those were the first words you heard from him when you woke up after the cryo sleep. Even with all the chaos that was going on at the time, you couldn’t help but feel drawn to the Na’vi who seemed to be very straight-forward, blunt and yet understanding of the situation that you and the rest of the Sarentu had faced.
So’lek, he said, was his name (‘what a lovely name’ you had thought) when you asked him while on the run from the RDA, one of the last remaining survivors of his clan. Although, everytime you think of that memory, alone and running from the RDA, you remember the fear of being separated from everyone and wondering if they were safe. After what happened to Aha’ri, you couldn’t stand anyone else being hurt. But So’lek’s voice kept you moving forward and when one of the RDA in the AMP suit caught you, holding you down as that horrible man, Mercer looked down on you, comparing you to your sister, the only thing you wished and hoped for was that So’lek would keep the Sarentu trio safe, as you almost gave up, He came out of nowhere, shooting at the RDA to save you and told you to run.
When you finally got out of the TAP facility, Pandora was nothing like what Mercer or the TAP said it was. They said that it was a terrifying, vicious, and cruel world. However, to your eyes, It was beautiful, the bright sun, the sounds of the creatures and water of the forest. It was like a new world and you couldn’t believe that you spent so long without it all.
As you walked forward, finding So’lek and the others immediately became a priority, when you finally found So’lek, he was hurt, the concern in you washed over like a wave in your chest, he must have gotten injured while protecting you. You knew at that moment that you wanted to protect him as well, taking his bow and using your Na’vi sense that So'lek told you about, made you realize how much you missed out on life, then getting the dapophet plant to heal him and fighting the RDA, gave you a feeling like no other, it made you feel that you can help, that you can be a protector as well.
However, It was when So’lek asked about your songchord, that made your heart flutter. You can still remember the conversation even though it hadn’t been that long.
“You have no songchord.” So’lek said as he got up after repositioning his shoulder, noticing that the Sarentu he seemed to run into a lot was missing a songchord. There was just something different about her, she seemed very caring and yet so strong in spirit, as he could tell as they were on the run from the RDA. “We had my mother’s, but they stole it” Your voice cracked as you said it, the pain of losing both your sister and the songchord, the only piece of your mother left still hurts you to this day.
Hearing that, So’lek felt anger and resentment flare up in his chest. Not only did they kidnap the Sarentu children, kill his clan and hurt the lands of Pandora, they had the audacity to steal something precious from a child as well. He could not explain the feeling in his chest, he wanted to do something for the Sarentu. “Then we must change that” his voice seemed to soften as he said the words and as he questioned, “What is your name Sarentu ?”.
Hearing his voice being gentle brought heat to your cheeks, and more flutterings in your chest, a feeling of happiness seemed to spread through you, “Y/N, my name is Y/N” you looked at him as your name rolled out your mouth in a hurry. Hearing it, So’lek lips curved up a tiny bit, his smile although small was gentle.
The rest went on with him making sure you understood that you must find your own way as you are a Na’vi and by doing so on your own was the way you can learn and then he finally asked you to join the resistance, hearing how he talked about the resistance made you understand why he was in it and you wanted to join them to help other Na’vi, to help save Pandora. After reaching the resistance base and meeting many new human faces, it was a breath of fresh air, they seemed so kind and you could tell that they were sincere in their welcoming and the work that they do here. The only person you still felt a bit weird with was Alma, but you discarded it as it was probably a long time of not seeing each other. She must have felt that she lost all of you after putting you all to cyro sleep.
Seeing the rest of the Sarentu trio free was another happiness that you could not describe, as you saw them as your family. With you being the second to last youngest, you looked up to Ri’nela and Nor a lot, you tried to be there for them as much as possible, to be listening ear or someone they could find comfort in, especially Nor, as he lost his best friend, your big sister. He was the only one that would rebel at the facility, trying to follow Aha’ri’s footsteps. Ri’nela, she became a big sister to you, but was always worried about what would happen if things didn’t go the way TAP wanted. Then there was the youngest, Teylan, he was like a little brother you never had, he would always hold onto your shirt when he felt overwhelmed and sometimes at night when he felt no one would notice, he would sneak into your bed and cuddle wanting to escape whatever nightmares would plague him. It was why you made a very simple doll out of one of the old clothes you had, you gave it to him saying that at times if he couldn’t see you, that he can always hold on to it to know that you’ll always be there for him. The day you gave him that, he hugged you so tightly, he didn’t let go for a long time. But it worried you how much he seemed to praise and think about Mercer.
Then you were given your first mission, take down one of the RDA facilities near the base which was polluting the land, Pneumatic Tower Echo. It felt overwhelming at first but after seeing how the land, your land, the land of Pandora, was ruined because of the RDA, a determination had stirred up in you. It was what made you destroy the RDA facility as soon as possible. In wonder you had seen Eywa had worked in mysterious ways, the land rejuvenated after the facility was destroyed, with creatures from the forest returning to the land, the flora coming back to life. Teylan called you through the radio in worry after hearing the bang, he and the others were at a flower they found. He wanted you to be there with the others so you could check it out, you had hurried over to the group, slowing down as you and the others came closer to the flower, Ri’nela had gasped in wonder, saying how that it was the flower that opens only for the Sarentu, to connect to Eywa, a Tarsyu. You had looked at it in awe, as you could only barely remember seeing the flower when you were a toddler. Finally, pulling your kuru forward, you connected to Eywa and met your ancestor Entu, the first Toruk Makto, with your will renewed, your heart became content and excited at the prospect of learning more and more about what it means to be a Sarentu.
You stopped reminiscing as you finally headed over to the armory where So’lek was at, looking over his gun. For some reason you didn’t think twice when Priya told you that So’lek was looking for you, your feet seemed to have a mind of their own. So’lek ears turned to your direction as he heard your footsteps approach him, he looked up and his lips curved up automatically, he looked proud as he said, “You did well out there”. You felt happy at his words, that you had helped the resistance in some way. As you looked over at him, you felt curious about the weapon in his hand. “Did the humans teach you their weapons too ?” you asked.
So’lek’s eyes became dull at those words, a resentment growing in his chest as his thoughts went to his clan, from when he could last remember them. You wanted to take back the words immediately, not wanting to see his eyes fill with such emptiness ever again. “No, I saw the RDA butcher my clan. Their bullets slicing them to shreds. That was my lesson.” he explained, his voice low and tense as he continued, “I know how it feels to be among the last of your people. The humans…they are like their guns. Brought here to cause pain.”
You took in his words and you honestly agreed to what he exclaimed. Guns and those strange machines just brought more destruction to Pandora, especially the humans who operated them. But you were confused as well, were the humans here at the resistance base not RDA once ? Voicing this concern of yours, he firmly replied in a hurry, “and I will not make it easy for them to forget. They are our allies now, yes. But, this is not their war. They fight for the ghost of their home world. But we fight for our home.” His words made you think about your time spent at TAP. Although the program was to ensure a healthy relation between humans and Na’vi, it never felt like that. It felt like that evil man had won, “In the end, Mercer got what he wanted, he made us into soldiers.” Your hands clenched tightly at your sides, your tail swishing, agitated and just saying it made you frustrated.
So’lek looked at the Sarentu thoughtfully, he could understand her frustration, her pain and sorrow, he could see how much she wanted to change the way things were and he felt like he wanted to help guide her on her journey, to be her helping hand, he could not explain these emotions well. So he advised her, “You are not what they made you. You are Na’vi. You will learn what that means in time. Starting with this,” he pulled something from the back of his gear, it was a songchord, “I made it for you” he passed the songchord to you, looking at it, you could feel the crack in your heart when they had stole your mother’s songchord from you lessen. You held it in your hands gently, as if it was the most precious thing in the world, which probably was as this was the first time someone, other than your sister and mother, ever made anything for you.
“My own songchord, like my mother’s…” you gently noted.
“All Na’vi wear one. It is your life’s journey for the world to see. For you to remember” He explained the significance of the songchords to you.
“Her’s had more beads on it” you exclaimed in a low tone, trying to remember what it looked like when you last saw it, before Mercer had taken it right out of your hands. You tied the songchord that So’lek had given you on your wrist and examined it carefully, noticing a bead on, your eyes looked at him curiously.
“Each bead is a moment of great importance to the wearer. I have put one in place to commemorate your first steps to freedom. Build on it. Build your own memories. Each one, a new song in your heart.” So’lek explained, noting the soft and gentle look grace the Sarentu’s face. This expression was something he hoped to see, to brighten whatever dark clouds that had been swirling in her mind.
You looked at him, hoping to convey your will to him, “I hope we can. Ri’nela really wants to try. To know what it means to be Sarentu. But at the Tarsyu…Nor seemed confused. Upset.” Thinking about it, after your sister's death, Nor took it hard and felt that it was his own fault for her death, that he did not try harder. He always used to listen closely to Aha’ri with you when she would hum the songs or tell stories of the Sarentu.
“Eywa shows us who we are. And who we can be. But she also reminds us of what has been lost. For your people, that is a heavy burden” So’lek said somberly. He then picked up his gun and started inspecting it again. “The back exit is not so exposed, he may be there.” Noting the worry on your face for Nor, he stated. You nodded with a smile at him, you were about to turn and leave when you remembered, “So’lek,” he turned his head to your voice, a slight shiver crawled up his spine at the gentle caress in the way you said his name, he could see your expression and he felt shocked at the way your eyes looked him in gratefulness. “Irayo So’lek. Thank you so much. For saving me and the others. For giving me strength. For making this songchord and the bead, I will treasure it always and I hope that I can show you my journey through it.”
You turned to leave, feeling the heat rush back to your cheeks at the honest words you blurted out to him, your feelings all over the place. However, before you left, you heard him whisper to you, so that only you would hear, “Be safe.” You felt your heart skip a beat as you nodded to him and rushed out of the base in order to search for Nor.
So’lek did not expect the Sarentu to say such heart-felt words, he had to cover his face because it felt slightly heated. He did not understand what he was feeling, as he did not feel the same with the other Sarentu trio as he did with her. Maybe it was her honest and caring nature that made him feel flustered. For now though, he decided to ignore those feelings. He needed to focus on gathering intel about those who killed his clan and defeating the RDA.
Little did either of them know, that in the future that he would not be able to ignore his feelings and that there would be a bead that represents them on her songchord.

That day was just a normal day for So'lek, he didn't spot any humans near his home lands or anything, so everything seemed to be fine. Despite that, he still decided to patrol around just incase. Then out of nowhere, he saw a flashing red light up in the sky. He was not sure about what it was. Did it have something to do with humans? He wasn't sure. The light was getting closer and closer, as if it was going to land near or on him. It was going fast, before he knew it. He saw what looked like to be a girl, engulfed in that light. Without thinking, he held his arms out, as an attempt to catch her.
Then he felt the harsh impact hit him, he wrapped his arms around the girl and pulled her into a hug. As he fell onto the ground, hard. So'lek groaned in pain, that hurt a lot more than he expected, but he's felt worst pain. Carefully he sat up, looking down at the small girl with a huge mane of red hair. Her skin was a copper like orange, as for her attire, he really couldn't tell what she was wearing, but he saw that it was a soft purple. He caught on that you were not human or maybe he's never seen a human such as yourself before.
He heard soft groans and movements coming from you. Slowly you looked up to see who was underneath you. That's when So'lek got to see your face. You had a soft looking face, your eyes were a bright lime green with no pupils, your lashes and brows matched your hair perfectly, and your lips were juicy as well as pretty plumped. He felt his face slightly heat up, he never thought he'd catch a woman that was falling from the sky, let alone a very beautiful woman.
Then you spoke, in a strange language he didn't understand. He couldn't pin if it was English or another human language. Soon after, you leaned up and kissed him right on the lips. So'lek froze as soon as your warm lips touched his. He was not expecting this at all. That's a strange first impression. After a few seconds you pulled away from the kiss and looked at him. "I'm sorry, I'm able learn the same language of others by kissing." You explained, now in a language he could understand. "Right." He responded, still surprised by the kiss. At the moment, you just smiled at him, until you noticed the position you were in. "Oh! I'm terribly sorry!" You apologized, while you got up off him then you helped him up. "It's alright." He responded, while looking down at you. He couldn't help but notice how tall you were compared to another human women, it was obvious that you weren't human.
"Where are you from?" He asked, while looking at you. Who was looking around the forest with fascination. "Oh! I'm from a planet called Tamaran. It's pretty similar to here, except we have cities." You explained. That caught So'lek's interest. Another planet similar to his, but had human related things. "Why... why are you far from home?" he asked. That's what made your face shift from a smile to a frown. "I was exiled, ever since my sister took the throne, things haven't been the same." You told him, it was now obvious that you had lost your home. So'lek could somewhat relate. Quickly your attituded shifted back to a smile. "But, let's not talk about sad things, lets get to know each other. My name is y/n'r." You said to him. This somewhat took him by surprise, your sudden attitude shift, was that something your people did? "Well, since you gave me your name, I'll give you mine. I'm So'lek." He responded, giving you a small heart warm smile.
So'lek decided to take you back to his base. The whole time he would ask questions about you along other things. You were answering all of them. You did the same to him, you'd ask him about his planet and so on. He didn't forget to mention the stuff that humans have done to the planet. How they keep trying to make Pandora into human civilized planet and basically kill the people that are already in it. He explained that it's been happening for almost a decade. He also told you the infamous story about how a human man sided with the na'vi and he manage to get most humans off the planet. He was considered a legend to them. Almost like a freedom fighter.
When you got to his base, you got to him some humans, who were on the side of good and more people like him. That's when you learned that they were called Na'vi, as well as learning how they were of various clans around the forest. But the forest wasn't the only one which had clans. They were clans all over the planet, from the sea, to the desert lands, tundra, and other parts were they were more forests. That's what made you grow curious, now you wanted to fly around the whole planet to meet the other clans. But first, So'lek wanted you to learn how you could get around in the forest. He isn't sure if you and him share that similar knowledge, but he would prefer that you learn so that you can take care of yourself when he can't. It's not like he didn't mind being with you, but he can't always be with you since he has other stuff to take care of.
Tumblr media
Your teaching began the next day. You somewhat learned some basic greeting signs and some other stuff, incase you come across other na'vi, you know how to properly greet them. Then came the forest, at first you thought about just flaying around next to So'lek, but he preferers you on your feet. So that you could learn properly. He understands that you were used to flying, but in order to like to be na'vi, you had to connect with the earth with your feet. So you decided to use your feet. It honestly felt great running on the huge tree branches, swinging on the vines and so on. You liked flying, but this felt like a whole new experience. It was hard at first, but you got the hang of it as the time passed. Your feet got stronger and you were able to properly balance yourself on your feet.
Then came weapons, you knew how to use guns, since back home guns were used. But this time, you'll be learning how to use a bow and arrow. You thought it would be easy, but it really wasn't. You had to aim your bow a certain way and had to stay in one position before changing into another. So'lek was very patient, he didn't mind telling you how to hold the arrow and would also position you properly. You'd feel a small tingle when he'd placing his hand on your back and helped you straighten your back for better posture. It almost made your face heat up every time you'd feel his hand on your back. You knew that he was helping you, but you couldn't help but feel flattered when he did.
When you weren't doing your lessons, you would hang out with So'lek, a lot. You were almost stuck to him, since the day you had arrived in Pandora. You just liked his company. At times you'd go with him on his patrols. Often times he'd tell you that it wasn't necessary, but you came anyways. He couldn't help but notice how your good mood was very contagious. You just happen to be in such a good mood al the time, he almost couldn't understand how or why, but he remembered that negative feelings are bad for you. So it made sense, why you were just in such a good mood all the times. They were times where you had been down, but you always managed to make yourself happy again. For some reason, he felt his heart strings getting pulled by this.
Ever since the kiss, he couldn't help but feel some sort of bond building up. Even more since he had decided to teach you how to be na'vi or learn their ways. This bond between the both of you got stronger. As much as So'lek wanted to deny it, he couldn't. He was falling for you for sure. Every time he'd look at you, he'd feel all his stress and worries vanish. He's never had feelings for anyone, especially during a time like this, but maybe it wouldn't hurt to fall in love with a girl that fell from the stars.
Tumblr media
That eclipse you and So'lek were together like always. He was showing you around some parts of the forest that you haven't seen before. You seemed so in love with it and that made So'lek fall for you even more. He never thought his type would be someone who loves and appreciates the forest where he lived in. After some time of walking together, he had taken to towards the tree of voices. You couldn't help but already love the huge tree. It was a lovely shade of lilac purple with a neon glow. You couldn't help but run your hands through the tassels of the trees. They were surprisingly soft. "It's beautiful." You commented, then you noticed how the small seeds from the tree began to float down towards you.
So'lek was staring, admiring how you were basically connecting with the Great Mother. You were holding one of the seeds in both palms of your hands, looking at the small creature as close as possible. After a few moments, the seed began to float away with the others. You turned and looked at So'lek, with a huge smile planted on your lips. He wouldn't mind seen that lovely smile for as long as he lives. "Y/n'r, I have something to say." He said, taking both your hands into his large ones. This kind of surprised you a bit. "What is it?" You asked him, while looking at him.
He couldn't help but feel his mouth going dry. He swallowed some saliva and licked his lips before he spoke. "These past few months have been..." He tried saying but was cut himself off. "Have been the best, ever since you arrived here." He explained, you couldn't help but feel his face heat up, turning a tangy orange. "They have?" You asked, almost shyly. "Yes, they have." He answered, honestly. Then he reached out, placing a small strand of your hair behind your ear, making your face warm up and your heartbeat race even more than it already was. "I don't know how to put it." He paused, again trying to find a way to continue further.
"I know, we've only known each other for a few months. But in those past couple months, I've grown to have feelings for you." He finally confessed. You were too stunned to say a word. He felt the same way and he had confessed first. For weeks you've been thinking of a way to confess to him, but he did it first. It made you feel even more flattered. "You feel the same way?" you finally spoke. So'lek was now stunned, you did feel the same way. All he could do was nod in response. You felt your heart about to explode out of happiness. At first you didn't think you and him could be together since you weren't the same species. But that didn't seem to stop the both of you. It was till quiet, until you finally said something.
"Can I... can I kiss you?" You asked him, shyly while looking at him in this pretty yellow eyes. So'lek couldn't help but smile by your question. He too was about to ask you the same thing. "I would love that." He responded. Then he noticed how you slowly began to levitate yourself up towards him, just enough for him to be able to reach you. He got a hold of the side of your small chin and law, both you and him slowly leaned in for a kiss. Both yours and his lips molded into one another's. It was a slow and passionate kiss. You couldn't help but feel a bunch of butterflies flattering all over your nine stomachs. You couldn't help but wrap your arms around his neck, he then placed both hands on your hips, pulling you slightly closer to him. You both continued to kiss for what felt like ages, you could feel how his tail slightly rubbed up against your leg, in an affectionate way. You didn't want this to stop.

Tumblr media
The warm glow provided by the roaring bonfire illuminates your azure skin deliciously. The snare drums and tambourines fill your ear with a salacious delight thanks to the copious amounts of fermented yovo fruit juice you’ve consumed. The heat from the fire begins to ignite your cheeks, as you dance away with your fellow clan members celebrating the bountiful hunting season.
The clanking of your beads jingle happily in your braids, twirling as you move your body to the rhythm of the music. Your arms gracefully stir, with your iridescent tassels moving like Ikran wings in the wind. “Ayeaye!” A beautiful vocalization causes you to turn around, gazing to your friend Arvok with a playful smile on his face. “Dance with me!” He grabs your hands twirling you around before you can answer him. Both of you innocently dance together with your people honoring the tradition of movement. Unbeknownst to you, a pair of jealous amber eyes bore into the back of your skull close by.
So’lek’s POV
So’lek happily sits himself down on a mossy covered log surrounding the forest clearing watching as his people joyously begin the fire dance to commence the festival celebration. He sighs a lazy sigh bringing his bowl of fermented yovo fruit juice to his lips, as the tangy liquid soothes his throat with warm delight. He gazes to the youngsters trying to mimic the movements of the seasoned warriors dancing their night away, as he hears a familiar laugh invade his ears. Looking up to the source of the sound he’s displeased to see you dance with an equally drunk Arvok.
How could a beautiful Na’vi like you, subject yourself to this amateur hunter like Arvok? Especially as his promised mate. The romantic gestures and advances he’s planned for this mating season all seem to feel out of his reach as soon as he sees Arvok’s hand slip around your narrow little waist. What was once promised to him is seemingly slipping away, unless he acts now.
So’lek quickly slurps down the rest of his drink placing the bowl on the log, making his way to the forest clearing towards you. Your cheeks are flushed with a beautiful magenta hue clearly indicating your own intoxicated state. He approaches the two of you dancing together, with a guttural growl to make his presence known. “Y/n, may I have a word?” The strain in his voice is evident of containing his evading composure waiting for your attention to be elsewhere.
You whip your head to his direction with a loose smile, “So’lek! I didn’t see you! Come dance!” You wiggle out of Arvok’s grasp and tug So’lek your way with an innocent look on your face, but he doesn’t budge. “I need to speak with you.” He booms with more confidence. Your face slowly turns into confusion, watching his unmoving expression. “O-oh. Okay.” You giggle out.
So’lek does not return the amusement as he tugs you away before Arvok can even protest. His firm grip on your wrist does not waver, bringing you over to a large tree just out of ear shot from the rest of the clan, as the music slightly dissipates. “What are you doing?” He huffs out. He feels his nostrils flare with incandescent jealousy. The primal urge to mark you right here fills his mind with grotesquely vivid images. “What do you mean? I was celebrating with my friends.” You nonchalantly reply. “No… You were dancing with Arvok; the little twerp couldn’t keep his hands of you.” He growls
Back to y/n’s POV
Your eyes slowly widen coming to the conscious realization that he’s jealous. You watch as So’lek’s pupils absolutely devour the amber hue in his eyes, as a playful smirk emerges on your face. “Oh…did you not enjoy watching as your future mate danced amongst male company?” You whisper seductively. You knew you were treading into dangerous waters, So’lek and his territorial tendencies have habit of imploding when alcohol is involved but you can’t help but feel enticed by it all.
“You know exactly what I think of that little show you put on..” He just huffs with irritation. “Baby you know I’m yours.” You cup his hot face watching his tail flick madly with irritation. “You’re a brat… and you know what happens to brats?” He steps closer until your back presses against the large tree, watching as his nose practically touches your own. The rapid beating of your heart thrums loudly in your throat anticipating his next move. This is not your future mate, but instead a hunt watching him like a Thanator stalks its prey.
“Say it.” He grows impatient. Your lip quivers with blooming arousal, feeling your own loincloth grow moist with desire. “Th-they get punished..” You squeak out. He smirks darkly, while his nimble fingers begin to tug at your beaded loincloth expertly undoing the strings. “That’s right… brats get punished.. and you know what that means?” He brings his lips to your ear causing a shiver to ripple down your spine.
“Fuck-I mean. Yes. I am yours.” You whisper softy. He chuckles removing your loincloth as it falls onto the grass with a small thwack. The cool air hits your throbbing pussy, causing it to twitch with delicious anticipation. “That’s right my little muntxate wife. Look how needy you are already.” He growls out. His large hands grip your waist harshly spinning you around so fast your brain goes numb feeling as he beckons you to press your hands against the trunk of the tree. “That’s right, hands on the tree. Your mate needs to fuck that little attitude of yours out of you hmm?” He snarls from behind.
You feel as he bucks his clothed bulge into your ass, causing a wanton moan to instinctively escape your lips. “You need to be marked… remember who you belong to…” He whispers in a strained voice as you hear him hastily undo the strings to his own loincloth.
He practically rips the material in half, tossing it to the side as his swollen cock slaps against his belly leaving the small mark of precum along his chiseled abs. “Fuck look what you do to me tìyawn love.” He brings his the swollen head of his cock to rub against your puffy lips, teasing you cruelly causing your hips to buck back into his pelvis. “So’lek! Please.” You whine out. So’lek just laughs and begins to fuck his length along your drenched entrance, slowly teasing and edging you just enough to drip onto the grass below.
“Little brats don’t get rewarded… but perhaps I will make an exception, if I get something in return.” He peppers a kiss into the crook of your neck. “Anything, truly anything So’lek.” You whine out desperate to feel his hard cock inside your walls. “Let me breed you.” He whispers. You feel your eyes almost roll into the back of your skull, nodding fast, “Yes! Please hurry!” You cry out.
So’lek watches you desperately try to fuck yourself along the length of his cock and laughs, “as you wish syulang flower.” He grabs the base of his length sliding into with ease as you practically swallow him whole. His balls twitch as he’s squeezed just right causing you both to moan in unison. “Fuck, you’re made for me..” He thrusts harshly into your silken walls with a loud thump into your ass. “Please.” You moan out. So’lek smirks knowing exactly what you want, and who is he to deny his woman?
He watches as you grip the tree tight, bringing his hips to slam once more, as he drills fast and hard into your swollen little pussy. The sound of squelching and smacking fill the forest with a disgusting erotic symphony as he feels his balls clench with an impending release. “Gonna fill you right up…” He moans into your ear. “Do it.” Your challenge just inspires a faster pace, as he literally takes you off your feet and onto your tippy toes, turning into a brutal speed.
“You’re made for me, you’re going to carry my children aren’t you brat?” He huffs into your neck feeling his pace begin to grow sloppier and sloppier. “Yes!” Your head rests in the crook of his shoulder clenching down on him so tight he swears he sees Eywa herself. The sound of your soaking wet heat and his balls slapping against your ass cause him to release his seed into your empty womb, coating it with the sticky hot liquid as you feel it immediately drip out of you. “Agh!” You squeal loudly as you feel his hand snake around to rub circles on your swollen bud. The overwhelming sensation of being filled to the brim and your clit being stimulated just right, causes your body to shake violently as you squirt your juices onto his hand and wrist. “Fuck fuck fuck.” You whimper out. “Just like that, that’s a good girl.” So’lek talks you through your orgasm as if his own didn’t just almost cause temporary blindness from pure ecstasy.
“Tam tam…” he whispers gently as your twitching body begins to slow down. Your labored breathing begins to sync with one another, feeling him gently bring you back down onto the grass and turning you around to face him. Both of you look completely and utterly wrecked, with glossy eyes and loose hair sticking to your sweaty foreheads.
He gingerly wraps his hand around the back of your neck to bring you in for a passionate kiss. “Mmm” He groans into your mouth kissing you with such purpose your eyes see stars dancing inside your eyelids. “Baby…” You moan softly. He parts ways as your lips leave a trail of spit gazing into each other’s eyes. “Soon you will be swollen with my child…” He half whispers to himself cupping your toned stomach. “I guess practice makes perfect…” You giggle, as both of you slump down along the tree trunk redlining in the last remains of alcohol in your system. “A very bountiful season indeed..” He whispers

you were helping priya with something on her computer, she needed a second pair of hands. Priya was going on and on about trying to connect all of the different resistance bases together so that they would operate on the same system?
Or.. something like that
You weren't entirely sure.... or entirely focused on what she was saying as you heard a certain deep voice coming from the other room
she could tell you weren't paying attention anymore, so she called for a mini break. you gave a small sympathy smile and slowly began to follow the sound of his voice. a voice you could recognize anywhere ... a voice that could improve your mood instantly, ten fold
his back was to you as you entered, he was talking into his ear piece. you pretended to busy yourself with something on the wall, hoping he wouldn't notice your eavesdropping. you were now able to make out what he was saying more clearly ...
sounds like he was talking with the envoy sarentu.. they seemed to always be on the go, rarely ever coming back to the HQ base
your heart swelled with how enthusiastic so'lek became whenever one of the sarentu needed help. he seemed to completely stop whatever he was doing to provide his full attention
and it only made you fall in love with him even more
the sarentu really looked up to him for strength and for guidance. you were so happy that so'lek was here to help with the transition. his presence here making all of the difference
at this point, you were just standing in front of the wall, smiling wide at the ground like an idiot, completely still ... trying not make any noise and miss anything that was being said
so'lek had just mentioned the envoy cannot take their ikran to the upper plains ... not yet anyway, and that they must continue on foot when they reach a cliff by the waterfall. so'leks voice turns comforting and reassuring, letting them know that they will be alright without their bonded for the time being
ugh, you need this man
your thoughts interrupted by a cold hand on your arm..
it's Priya ... with a strange look on her face
guess your break ...
and secret quality time is over then

Niney the Na’vi girl
This is a short story I wrote about my Avatar OC named Niney. Niney is the half-human/half-Na'vi child of So'lek, a Na'vi warrior, and Ziva, a human who used to work for the RDA but is now part of the Resistance. The story is told from Niney's point of view and explores the ups and downs of being a hybrid, what it's like to be rejected by your own people, and finding a friend in the most unlikely places.
This was an idea that came to mind after playing Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. For reference, here is a list of Na'vi words that I used in the story and what they mean in English.
Sempul- meaning "Father" Sa'nok- meaning "Mother" 'itetsyip- meaning "little one" Kaltxi- meaning "Hello"
Tumblr media
“Toruk Makto!” said Sempul.
“So’lek! It’s good to see you brother.” said Jake.
The first time I met Jake Sully and his family was when I was nine years old. The year was 2170 and the Resistance had been talking about how the RDA had been tracking Jake Sully down ever since they arrived back on Pandora. There was a lot of talk about the RDA’s new base called “Bridgehead City” and how it was supposedly five times the size of “Hell’s Gate”.
“It’s been a long time,” said Jake in Na’vi.
The two of them talked for a few minutes before I slightly peaked out from behind my Sempul’s legs, catching Jake’s gaze before quickly hiding myself again.
“I’ve heard a lot about you.” said Jake.
Was he talking to me?
“She does not get to see many Na’vi.” said Sempul, “And she has been through a lot in the last few months… we both have.”
Sempul placed a hand on my back and urged me to come out from behind him. I was hesitant but did as my Sempul wished. Jake kneeled down to my level but was still much taller than me.
“Your name is Niney, right?” asked Jake.
I nodded my head yes.
“There are some people I would like you to meet.” smiled Jake.
As he stood up I suddenly became very shy and hid my face in my Sempul’s side. Just a few months beforehand I had lost my Sa’nok to the RDA.
My story begins at the first Resistance headquarters. The year was 2161 and my Sa’nok almost died giving birth to me.
Sa’nok’s name was Ziva Shapiro and back before she joined the Resistance she was a pilot for the RDA with her friend Trudy Chacon. The day Sa’nok and Sempul met was the day of the Battle of the Hallelujah Mountains. My Sempul, So’lek, was a hunter who had a vengeance towards the humans. My parents didn’t fall in love immediately because after the battle Sempul kept to himself but over time they found peace in each others company. Their relationship was a secret for a long time but when Sa’nok discovered she was pregnant with me the secret could no longer be kept hidden.
I grew up in an old RDA field lab that had been confiscated by the Resistance.
It sat on the outskirts of the Kinglor Forest in the Waterway Valley. Life was peaceful and we were happy… until the RDA arrived.
Sempul’s intentions of bringing us to the island were to keep me and Sa’nok safe and to this day he still blames himself for what happened. On the morning that it happened Sempul wasn’t even home, he was on a mission with the Resistance to rescue a group of kids from the RDA called the Sarentu. It started with soldiers in these tall machines coming onto the island. Sa’nok knew their intentions and feared for our lives so she sent out an emergency frequency to the Resistance as they made their way onto the island.
Everything happened so fast. Somehow word got back to John Mercer, a very powerful man in the RDA, of my existence and he had sent the soldiers to bring me to him.
“Come on out Shapiro!” shouted one of the soldiers, “We just wanna talk.”
Sa’nok didn’t trust them and was afraid of what Mercer would do to me.
I had been swimming when I spotted them coming and so we hid in the lab. Sa’nok was already prepared by the time they reached the front yard with stun grenades on her hip and a shotgun at her side.
“When I tell you to run, you run out the back and hide in the tree house. Understand?” whispered Sa’nok.
I was beyond scared and a little bit confused as to what was actually going on.
“John Mercer sent us here. We have a great opportunity for you and your kid!” taunted the soldier, “John says if you two come with us back to Bridgehead City that he’ll drop all charges from the RDA.”
“What does that mean Sa’nok?” I asked.
“It means they’re going to do experiments on you and God knows what else to me if we go with them. It’s a trick Niney.”
Sa’nok went over to the tarp door and looked through the crack. From the looks of it we were surrounded by AMPs.
“What do we do?” I asked.
“You see that large tote over there in the corner? I want you to go over there and dump everything out and crawl inside and close the lid. Okay?”
I ran over to the tote and dumped out all of the clothes and gear that was inside. I took one last deep breath before Sa’nok closed the lid and stacked the clothes ontop. I could hear her shuffling around and then I heard her shout back at the soldiers.
“Your too late fellas! She’s not here. Her father took her back to his clan.”
“Is that so?” said one of the soldiers, “And what clan would that be?”
“You really think I’m gonna tell you that?”
“If you value your life you will.”
There was a moment of unnerving silence.
“The Zeswa clan,” said Sa’nok, “Up in the plains, that’s where they are.”
“Much obliged!” said the soldier, “But you see, John wants you too and we need to know if your going to come willingly or by force.”
My heart was pounding out of my chest. I could hear heavy stomping outside coming from all around followed by what sounded like metal gears grinding.
“There’s no need for any kind of brute force,” said Sa’nok, “I’m compliant.”
Sa’nok shuffled around some more and I heard her whisper to me.
“Don’t come out until you hear total silence. I have to go with them in order to lure them away but I’ll be fine. Knock if you understand.”
I knocked on the side of the tote.
I was starting to smother and my chest was becoming tight.
The heavy stomping started up again except this time it was rapid.
“Alright boys!” said the soldier, “Light her up!”
I remember hearing Sa’nok scream in horror and then everything became really hot really fast. The soldiers had flamethrowers and were given orders to burn everything down. I scrambled to get out of the tote but it wouldn’t budge. That’s when I felt the tote being dragged and the lid was ripped off. Sa’nok had managed to break free and run back inside but we weren’t safe yet.
The entire lab was filled with smoke and bright orange flames engulfed the ceiling. We crawled along the floor to where Sa’nok had placed her shotgun. She grabbed one of the grenades and pulled the key.
“Cover your eyes.” she said.
She through the grenade and there was a loud boom. We were now under fire from the soldiers.
“Get to the treehouse!” yelled Sa’nok.
I crawled over to the back entrence and made a run for it. I didn’t get far before I something snagged my braid. Whatever it was began to lift me up into the air and I felt an excruciating pain radiate throughout my head.
“I caught it sir!” yelled one of the soldiers.
Suddenly there was a bright flash and the soldier dropped me. I couldn’t see anything but I could hear repeated gunfire so I stayed close to the ground. I was afraid I was going to be stepped on by one their machines but I couldn’t see where to go.
Once my sight came back I crawled my way to the little space underneath the foundation of the lab. From there I could see everything that was happening. Sa’nok was hiding behind a massive tree, jumping out every little bit to shoot at the soldiers. In the distance was the treehouse that they hadn’t yet burned. The main soldier leading the fight noticed me tucked under the foundation and began making his way over to me, the ground shaking as he grew closer.
“Sa’nok!” I cried.
Sa’nok heard me and ran through the gunfire. It was too late though and the soldier in the big machine grabbed ahold of the structure of the lab and lifted it off the ground flipping the entire thing over. As he reached down to pick me up Sa’nok yelled for him to stop. The soldier turned around holding me by my braid.
“You just had to make this difficult.” said the soldier.
Sa’nok was aiming at him as she slowly walked closer.
“Put her down!” said Sa’nok, “I’ll do whatever you say just put her down!”
“Lower your weapon! NOW!”
“Put her down!”
“I said lower your weapon or I will shoot her!”
Sa’nok lowered her shotgun to her side. The soldier sat me down but kept his grip on my braid.
“Now here’s how this is gonna go. You and your abomination are coming with us back to Bridgehead City and if you try to stop us we will kill both of you right here on the spot. Do I make myself clear?”
Sa’nok regetable tossed her shotgun to the ground and raised her hands.
“Book ‘em.” said the soldier.
Sa’nok made eye contact with me as one of the other soldiers walked up behind her to place hadncuffs on her and shouted to me in Na’vi.
“Run to the tree!”
That’s when Sa’nok reached behind her back pulled out a real grenade and threw it at the soldier that was holding me. He threw me to the ground at the sight of the grenade and raised his gun towards Sa’nok. I quickly ran as the grenade went off causing me to lunge forward.
As I layed on the ground covering my head, my ears started ringing. I raised my head to look around and just as I did I saw Sa’nok fall to the ground, her body riddled with holes.
My heart stopped.
“Sa’nok!” I cried.
I ran over to her lifeless body.
“Sa’nok! Sa’nok!”
The remanding soldiers pointed their guns at me as the began to surround me. All I could do was sit there, holding her in my arms as I screamed and cried. The soldiers were yelling at me to stand up but in that moment something in me changed. Something strange happened that I don’t even know how to explain. Everything felt as though it were in slow motion.
I remember raising my hand out infront of me and screaming as if to stand my ground.
That’s when it happened…
Suddenly, dozens of thanators appeared out of nowhere and began attacking the soldiers.
I don’t remember the carnage or the gore of what the thanators did but I do remember entering a trance-like state where everything around me was like a dream.
According to Alma it was nightfall before anyone could get to me. When the Resistance finally showed up they said they had never seen anything like it before. I was laying next to my Sa’nok’s body, asleep, while dozens of thanators were encamped around me as if to protect me. Supposedly it took them forever to actually reach me, having to work their way around the vicious thanators.
I was covered in Sa’nok’s blood. I don’t remember the next few weeks after that and apparently I didn’t talk for a long time.
Sempul was lost without Sa’nok and was emotionally absent for while as well.
“I believe Eywa has a plan for people like us,” said Kiri, “You just have to believe it and keep faith.”
Growing up I was never treated or seen as an equal by other Na’vi but by some ironic twist it was always Sa’nok’s people, the humans, who treated me with kindness. I didn’t have any friends until I met Kiri. I remember telling Kiri that I had lost all hope and recently questioned the Great Mother’s very existence.
To put things into perspective allow me to fully describe what people witness when they see me.
I don’t look like a human and I definitely don’t look like the average Na’vi.
I don’t stand at a towering ten feet tall, I’m only four foot ten and that’s how tall I am now. When I was nine years old I was even smaller than that. I don’t have blue skin, I have white human-like skin with faded pink markings. I do have a tail along with Na’vi facial features like a big yellow eyes and pointed ears. I also have a tswin or as the humans call it, a neural queue, like other Na’vi that starts at the top of my head and goes all the way down my back. I don’t have black hair but a whitish blonde that gives me an albino appearance and instead of having only four fingers and toes I have five.
When I met Ney’omi along with the other Sarentu they were fascinated by my very existence. They were taken from their clan and raised by the RDA in a residential school and were used to seeing humans and Avatars but not hybrids, not people like me.
Ney’omi was kind and Teylan was fun to be around but I could tell Nor and Ri’nela were leary of me. As time went on and the RDA grew closer to HQ, Nor became more bitter towards the humans and got to where he wouldn’t even enteract with the humans in the Resistance.
He especially despised Alma but at the time I didn’t realize what she had done to the Sarentu. Even before Nor stabbed Alma I didn’t like him. The day I lost all respect for him was the day he told Alma to stop teaching me about other Na’vi cultures because she wasn’t a true Na’vi and neither was I. Sempul didn’t like that and told me to stay away from Nor. I won’t lie when I say that I was relieved when Nor ran away and despite Ney’omi and Teylan being kind to me and playing with me every now and then, even they were distant from me at times but I like to tell myself that it’s because they were so much older than me.
“Niney,” said Jake, “I want you to meet my kids.”
Right from the start it was Kiri who was the most excited to meet me.
There was four of them and they were all captivated by me. There were two boys that almost looked like twins, a little girl who was still much bigger than me, and there was Kiri.
I was nervous and backed into Jake’s legs.
“Everyone, this is Niney,” said Jake, “So’lek’s daughter, the one I told you about.”
Kiri clasped her hands together and smiled at me with pure joy as she slowly made her way over to me, the others following behind.
“Kaltxi,” greeted Kiri signing Hello.
I sheepishly smiled and signed Hello back.
“Niney, this is my oldest daughter, Kiri, and my youngest daughter, Tuk.”
“Your so cute!” exclaimed Tuk.
“Tuk!” scolded the oldest boy, “She’s not an animal.”
“I didn’t mean anything bad! She’s just so small.”
“Tuk!” scolded their Sa’nok.
“You’ll have to forgive Tuk. She’s never seen anyone quite like you.” said Jake, “This is my son, Neteyam and my other son, Lo’ak.”
The two boys stepped forward and signed Hello.
Neteyam went as far as to kneel down and shook my hand like a human. Gathering up a little more courage I stepped closer to them.
“And this is their Sa’nok, Neytiri.” said Jake.
Neytiri smiled at me and got down on her knees, gently cupping my tiny face in her hands as she spoke to me in Na’vi.
“Hello, little one.” said Neytiri.
For whatever strange reason a wave of emotion hit me as I looked into her eyes and my heart began to ache. I felt my eyes swell with tears and in an instant I threw my arms around Neytiri’s neck and began to silently cry.
“I miss my Sa’nok.” I whispered in Na’vi.
Neytiri wrapped her arms around me and stood up, holding me as if I were one of her children.
“What’s wrong?” asked Tuk, “Was it something we said?”
“No, Tuk. I think she’s just been through too much.” said Kiri.
Jake walked over to Neytiri who was also emotional by my sudden embrace, and layed a hand on my back. Sempul joined us outside. Neytiri smiled at my Sempul and handed me to him where I hid my face in his neck.
“I’m sorry for your loss, brother,” said Jake.
“We will manage with Eywa’s strength.” said Sempul, “I am just thankful that they did not take my ‘itetsyip.”
“I can’t imagine losing Neytiri that way,” said Jake, “The RDA will pay for all the lives they’ve stolen.”
“Ziva was my everything… but now she rests in Eywa’s embrace.”
The Sullys stayed at the Resistance for a few days before they returned to the Omatikaya. They were there to trade weapons and help restock essential items like medicine, bandages, food, and ammunition. While they were there Kiri and I grew very close. We talked about our favorite things and exchanged stories. She showed me simple weaving patterns and taught me about basic herbal medicines. She was very passionate about the wildlife of Pandora and showed a strong faith in Eywa.
The day before the Sullys left HQ Kiri sat me down and had a heartfelt talk with me.
We were sitting on the floor, relaxing, in the lounge area of HQ when she took my tiny hands in hers.
“Niney I wish to talk to you about something.” said Kiri.
“What is it?”
We had been putting little braids in each other’s hair and adding beads. I was slightly distracted by one of my braids but kept listening.
“Tomorrow morning we have to leave and something you said has really been on my mind.”
I knew where this was heading and I tried to change the subject.
“Sa’nok used to do my hair in something called a dutch braid. You want me to show you?” I asked.
“Niney,” said Kiri, “I know you miss your Sa’nok and I know you lost her in horrific way… but I don’t want you to lose hope.”
I lowered my head to avoid the conversation we were about to have. Kiri could see that this was painful for me and hugged me in an embrace.
“I know what you did that day,” whispered Kiri, “I know what happened with the thanators and how they kept you safe.”
My heart dropped.
How did she know about that?
“I want you to know that I can do weird things too,” said Kiri, “And I want you to understand that the Great Mother hasn’t forgotten about you. This thing that you and I are capable of it’s strange but it’s a gift.”
I looked up at Kiri and she was smiling at me with the most loving and motherly presence.
“Eywa loves all her children Niney. Please, promise me you won’t give up on her.”
The love and concern in Kiri’s eyes was legitimate and sincere. I could tell that she truly meant everything she was telling me.
“I promise.” I said.
“Have you ever connected with Eywa, Niney?”
“I did once when I was a baby but… I don’t remember.”
“When you and your Sempul come to visit us we’ll take you to the Tree of Souls and we’ll connect to Eywa together. Would you like that?”
I smiled back at Kiri.
“Sounds exciting.”
The morning the Sullys left, Kiri ran up to me and handed me a trinket.
“What’s this?” I asked.
“It’s a wooden shell I made to match the one on my songcord. I figured you could add it to yours to represent our friendship.”
“But I told you, I lost my songcord in the fire.”
“I know but it’s never too late to make another one. The songcord is a symbol of your entire life! It’s important for every Na’vi to have one.”
“I’m not a real Na’vi, not like you are.”
Kiri looked crushed at my statement. She reached into the pouch on her side and pulled out three different kinds of cord along with a few stray beads and gave them to me.
“You are more than Na’vi…” said Kiri, “you are my sister.”
I felt a twinge in my chest, not one of heartache but one of love and hope. Kiri hugged me and for just a moment I felt at peace. As the Sullys flew away I held onto the things Kiri gave me and watched as their ikrans disappeared into the Pandora sky. Little did I know that that would be the last time I saw Kiri for a very long time. Within a week after their stay at HQ, we got word that the Sullys had to flee the Omatikaya clan to avoid being caught by the RDA. They fled to the islands of the Metkayina clan where they still ran managed to get caught. As for me things were just getting started. While the Sullys were going through their own battle across the ocean we at HQ were about to go to war with John Mercer and Colonel Angela Harding. Luckily, I was kept far away from the battlefield but as I grew older and the war grew closer to home I learned quickly how to fully use my “gifts” from Eywa… and so did Kiri.

Summary: So'lek was protective before but now that his little mate is pregnant, he grown even more protective.
(So'lek x Human!Reader)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Warnings: pregnancy, possessiveness, fear of losing child, mentions of birth
Translations:
kelku = home
ma'tìyawn = my love
Angstik = The hammerhead titanothere
Tulkun = large marine species native to the oceans of Pandora
Nga yawne lu oer, ma little tsamsiyu = I love you my little warrior
You think So'lek was protective before but as soon as he found out that you were pregnant with his child he became 10X more protective. He always has his hands on your waist or stomach. He also refuses that you go places alone.
One day So'lek arouse from his sleep and you weren't next to him. Panicking, he got up and grabbed his bow. He ran out only to be met with you laying in the hammock just outside of the kelku. Sighing in relief, he leaned his bow against the entrance and walked over. “Good morning, ma'tìyawn.”
You looked at him from the hammock and smiled. "Good morning."
You could see that some of the worry still remained on So'lek's face as he looked at you. He walked into the hammock and got in next to you, wrapping his arms around you holding your pregnant belly protectively. "Don't scare me like that again."
You can notice that as he is breathing in the smell of you, he seems relieved that you are still alright and not in line of potential danger.
You smiled at the way his tension left his shoulders. He sighed as you put a hand over his that rested on your rounded stomach. "I'm sorry, I just thought sunlight would be nice."
He looked up at you with a warm smile on his face as you placed your hand over his. His ears and tail flinched at the sun's bright light that broke through the leaves over head. "It is, but I do not want to lose you. Not now with the new life you are carrying within you."
You chuckled softly, honestly finding his words amusing. "Ma So'lek, I am only a few feet away from the kelku. I will be alright."
He groaned in annoyance as he was beginning to get annoyed with your playful attitude towards his overprotectiveness. "I know that you would be but I do not want to take the risk. You are not only my mate but you are the mother of my child. I will not take any chances whatsoever."
His ears continued to twitch at the sound of his own words.
You knew you couldn't change his mind on it, once his mind was set, he was determined. Like a stubborn Angstik. "I know."
He looked down at you with his pretty green eyes. Even if he is trying to be stern with you he is still having a hard time fighting back the urge to pull you close and hug you. He takes a deep breathe before he finally speaks to you in a gentle yet firm tone. "Please do not go far from the kelku from now on until you give birth."
You fingers intertwined with his. You knew you couldn't promise anything like that. You would loose your mind and become restless. Your lips touched his cheek and then kissed along his jawline. "You know I can't promise that."
He growled in annoyance at the thought of you not keeping the promise he requested from you. He also grumbled at the thought of other Na'vi men seeing you outside of his protection. He was starting to get possessive.
"Why not? Your health and my child is at risk the further you go from the kelku. What reason could you possibly have to go far away from here?"
"I have people and duties in Hometree. You know that." You told him with your gentle tone of voice.
So'lek thought for a moment about what you said. It was true that you did have responsibilities and people to look after back at Hometree but he couldn't fight this protective instinct anymore. He was already too worried and anxious about losing you and the unborn child.
"Then I will be coming with you. I don't want to lose you or our child. I will protect you and keep you close to me."
You smiled at his decree. At least you wouldn't be cooped up at your home. "Alright, I have no objections."
He let out a relieved groan and pulled you closer to him. He wrapped his arms around you tightly. This made him feel so much better now that he knows that he can still keep an eye on you while you attend to those matters at Hometree.
"It's settled then. I will make sure to keep a close eye on you and keep you safe from any danger."
A few minutes passed and you slowly stroked your big stomach that would soon hopefully birth a strong child for your mate. "How much longer do you think?"
So'lek looked down at you and took note of how big your stomach had gotten. This baby must be growing at an extraordinary rate. He has never seen a woman get pregnant this quickly before. He also could only imagine how much you were uncomfortable dealing with all this change in your body.
"We are approaching the 8th month so this baby will grow much quicker. I predict that it will be born in less than two months."
You sighed and laid your head on his chest. "Oh thank goodness." Carrying his child felt...uncomfortable on your body to say the least.
He rubbed your head while looking down at you. His eyes were filled with love and relief as he thought about how soon you will be able to give birth. The thought of the baby being born also made him have all sorts of thoughts like how much of you was in the baby and how much of him was in the baby.
"How do you feel? Is the pregnancy getting too uncomfortable for you?"
You nodded and shifted in the hammock to be more comfortable. "It feels very uncomfortable. I think the baby is going to take after you the most. I feel like a Tulkun."
So'lek felt his ego inflate at the statement that your child would be taking after him. However, he didn't like that you were experiencing major discomfort from the pregnancy. This really showed him just how much this pregnancy was taking a toll on you. He continued to rub your head as he spoke.
"I will tell you a secret ma'yawne. When I was young I was a very loud child. Perhaps our baby will be as well."
You groaned and rolled your eyes. "Just what I need, a rambunctious child. AND a baby on top of that." you teased. You only meant it half jokingly of course.
He scoffed at the comment but didn't seem to mind it at all. If anything, the thought of having an energetic child to take care of with you is something he actually looks forward to. However, the thought of having a rambunctious child is also going to make him an overprotective father.
"Well you mated with me didn't you?" So'lek chuckled in his raspy voice as he ran a four fingered hand down your arm. "So it is only fate for our child to have our personalities."
You smiled at his first statement. You did mate with him, and you'd never regret it. You nuzzled into his side, your hand caressing his chest. Your fingers gently traced patterns on his blue skin. After a minute of silence, you spoke up with a request. "Rub my stomach again? It felt good."
He didn't have to be asked twice. As soon as you asked, he pulled you closer and started to massage and caress your belly. In this position, he could really feel how big you were getting. The thought of his baby being inside you was making him feel excited yet nervous for the day that you will give birth.
He put a feather-light kiss to your temple and hummed as he traced circles on your soft skin. "I promise to be a good father to our child. Nga yawne lu oer, ma little tsamsiyu."

Strong fingers wander around back, fingertips kissing your skin and leaving warmth on the places they’ve touched - stopping at the small of your back eventually, running little circles around it until that stops too. Only to press you closer to him, to his chest that vibrates with his deep, content purring that he couldn’t seem to stop since yesterday.
Warm breath fans against the top of your head, his nose nudges your temple and now you feel warmth against your cheek. His tail trails up and down the leg that is wrapped around his hip. Warmth blooms in your chest when a whispered good morning yawntisup reaches your ears and his nose now nudges your own. His eyes are half lidded when you finally open your own and the smile he allows you to see might be the most beautiful thing you’ve ever come to witness. It resembles the way the flora starts to light up when it’s past eclipse and the moonlight shines on all living being. It is natural, meant to be like that and so so gorgeous.
His large hand that once pressed you closer comes up to cradle your cheek that isn’t lying on the ground. It is now that you realize that you are still one, still connected in a way only the Na’vi know and it is so overwhelming. You feel everything - from the way his heart starts beating faster when your own tail comes up to leave featherlight touches on his thigh (only to wrap around it), to the way his bioluminescence freckles start flickering in an unknown pattern when you smile up at him. You feel all of him, all the love he has for you - love so strong that it really does threaten to overwhelm you - only for him to start purring louder, trying to ease your nerves by taking some of those thoughts away through the bond. God, he’s so perfect, I don’t deserve hi-
“You deserve everything you have and even more ma’yawntu.” And then he gives you that smile again and you know that he’s right. After everything you’ve been through, after everything he’s been through. All the things the human have done to your family and his own. You know that you deserve this, just as much as he does. And by the way his eyes shine with a few unshed tears, you realize you don’t have to voice those thoughts because he knows. Because of course he knows. And he feels the same way.
You really can feel everything through the bond.
“Hey guys! Ehm.. I know we promised not to bother you on your little night out unless there is, ehm.. an unannounced emergency. Not that any emergency is ever announced! That would break the whole emergency thing! Heh.. Ehm.. Anyways, there has been an unusual amount of RDA activity near the horseshoe mountain station. It would be gre-“
So’lek grumbles and closes his eyes, hand that once held your cheek now wandering down to grip your waist. You feel a sliver of annoyance through the bond and you try to take away some of it by pushing content, happy thoughts through it. Your own hand comes up to his cheek now, thumb touching the soft skin under his eyes - only for him to open them again, head moving a little to the side so he could press a lingering kiss on your wrist.
“We should get up now.”
He locks eyes with you.
“Yes, we should.”
After a few seconds of comfortable silence (priya ended her call several seconds ago, not that either of you noticed) spent looking into his beautiful yellow eyes, So’lek closes the gap between you two to press his soft lips against your own. It starts off as a small, innocent little kiss but then his teeth start nibbling on your bottom lip, tongue gently slighting over the bitten places only to be asking for entrance which you allow him way too easily. You let out a soft moan when his tongue enters your mouth to touch your own and the low grunt he lets out in response sends tingles down your spine.
Though it ends as quickly as it started.
“Let’s go.”, he says, giving you one last peck on your slightly swollen lips, glistening with spit. He closes his eyes as he gently disconnects your kurus, shuddering at the fact that you’re not feeling him - not in the way you could a few minutes ago. He is still in the back of your mind, like a shimmer in the darkness - he’s still there, but it’s not as overwhelming as before.
You try to recollect your thoughts he really did just leave you wanting more.
But the smirk he gives you over his shoulder while putting on his armor shows you that you are indeed not done yet and that this will be continued later.
You cannot wait for it and by the slight fullness of his tweng it seems like he can’t either.

We need a so'lek x human x neteyam
Idk if you can do with three characters (but i hope you do)
Nothing out of the blue (got it??)
They are like a couple, but the na'vis are showing love to their tawtute. What i meant is that so'lek and neteyam aren't romantic with each other (gay)
Or if you're not comfortable with this, the reader could be their favourite tawtute. Nothing romantic, just being affectionate :)
Hellooooooo darling~!
So for this one, it will be like platonic fluff. I hope you are ok with this! Enjoy~!
------------------
Pxoeng
Tumblr media
[it makes sense to me]
Tumblr media
Friends who grew up since diapers will get very comfortable with each other as time passes. Would call each other silly nicknames, refer to the other as family, or practically become family. They are close, where one cannot function without the other. As their lives orbit around the other. Friends can come as two, or in three. A trio if you will.
A trio is different from a duo. With a trio, you can dominate and conquer anything. Three is a crowd? No, three is a party. A party with inside jokes, fun memories and a perfect balance. Truly an unbreakable bond.
Which leads us to three certain people. Neteyam, Pxoeng, and so’lek. They are peak example of ‘three is a party’. You have the bright bubbly personality, the mature mother, and the crackhead street dog. You guess who is who.
Tumblr media
“Is it poisonous?” Neteyam asks a bit worriedly, in front of him, his silly little idiot. Pxoeng, a human who likes to test things with her life. And sanity. “I don't feel anything, it tastes kinda sweet” she replies after eating a thick gooey substance leaking from a tree. Licking her lips, she lets the taste settle down, staying still for anything.
“We can always go to mo’at if anything happens” neteyam offers. Pxoeng nods in agreement, with that settled they continue on their walk. “Or we could go now” a deeper voice followed behind them. Turning around they see an unpleasant so’lek. Arms crossed, frown deep, and clearly not happy with pxoeng’s little stunt. The human girl frowned, matching his.
“I won't die from it. I ate plenty of inedible things and I am alive. Live a little so’lek, "she says. Rolling his eyes he turns to neteyam, “if she pukes, it's on you”. Neteyam shrugs and doesn't mind at all. “Lets go, we still have ways to go” so’lek says, taking the lead of the walk path. Pxoeng and neteyam followed suit, one on each of the older na’vis side. “You sure seem a bit grumpy today, did someone take the last of your favorite?” neteyam asks so’lek. It doesn't take a word out of his mouth to respond but so’lek gave his answer with a grunt.
“I know! For lunch let's gather some of your favorite mushrooms to make your favorite stew, how does that sound?” Pxoeng suggests. Giving a moment of thought, so’lek nods. “Yes, that would be nice”.
Tumblr media
The three continued on until they reached their destination. Their little piece of heaven, ‘Arch heart’ as pxoeng named it. It was a comfortable little cave, filled with paintings, food, hammocks and among other things, built to feel like a second home. Away from their main home.
Neteyam entered first and began to roll up some screens to let more light inside. Pxoeng grabbed a fruit and dumped herself onto her hammock and so’lek sits on the edge to enjoy the view of the outside.
For a while neither of the three said anything, just doing their little tasks here and there. Letting the silence be the comforting sounds to soothe them. It is their favorite part of the day. Just the three of them together in their solitude. No tasks, no chores, no one to take time off of their day. Just pure tranquility.
Tumblr media
“Ok ok, how about…..we use some pali’s to pull the cart and maybe the ikrans can carry it on here. Aaaand whala! We can have nice comfy bean bags in here” Pxoeng explains her little idea after they had a nice hearty dinner in their cave.
Night arrived, so to be more comfy, so’lek still sitting on the edge but this time pxoeng and neteyam joined him. Pxoeng sat on his lap while she laid her head on neteyam’s lap. Doing as his mother taught him, neteyam calmly massages pxoeng’s head as so’lek squeezes her thighs from time to time.
“But aren't bean bags easy to tear? The ikrans would tear it apart with their claws” Neteyam says. His playfully boops his nose, “that is why I said to use a cart. So that the bean bags won't get damaged”.
“No bean bags, the hammocks are enough” So’lek interjected. The other two look over at him in slight confusion. “But you like the bean bags,” Neteyam says. So’lek looks at him then back at the sky. Slightly smirking, the boy playfully shoves the older’s shoulder only to receive an annoyed hiss. “No no, he is right. You are the first to body slam on a bean bag. Wouldn't it be nice to have some here and not sit near the edge like…an edgy anti hero” Pxoeng says.
So’lek sighs, not tired, not annoyed, just a sigh.
“Fine,
“YES!”
“But you and neteyam are carrying them all the way up here”
“What?!”
"But they are heavy...”
So’lek lets out a hearty laugh as he enjoys their expressions. Especially Pxoeng. Neteyam calms her down by stroking her hair. Pxoeng lays her head on neteyam’s head as she starts to play with so’leks fingers.
“Fine, we will carry them, but they are for us and none for you so’lek”
“Now hold on
Tumblr media
Aaaaaaaand that is it for this one! Sorry if it was short, but its short and sweet! Until next time! See ya!

A/N: You are responsible for your own media consumption. MDNI 18+. Lit bit of anguish, little bit of smut and also a bit of fluff
Pairing: So’lek x Fem!Aranahe!Reader,
Word count: 2319
Synopsis: a classic young sunshine ☀️ and old grump🌧️ finally get together a young aranahe weaver falls for the grumpy hunter and eventually breaks down So’lek’s walls
The Weaver’s Heart and the Hunter’s Soul”
Solek sat in his makeshift camp that was nestled on the outskirts of the Aranahe territory. She found him sharpening his knives with a scowl on his face. "What do you want?" So'lek grumbled not looking up, he knew it was her, the little aranahe weaver that never seemed to leave him alone. “I just came to see how you were doing." She said as she hesitantly took a step forward crouching next to him. "Would you want to go for a ride with me?." Solek paused his sharpening and stared at her with a blank expression, processing the request. Her request was a surprise, it made him slightly uncomfortable. He could handle the hunt and the ambushes but something more light hearted like a ride was foreign to him. "I don't see the point of that." Was his response.
She rolled her eyes playfully "you're such a grump you're worse than my baba.” The corner of Solek's lips slightly turned up, he felt as if he should snap and be more hostile with her. But something about her presence made him feel at ease. "You seem quite comfortable calling me grumpy." The Na’vi said, raising an eyebrow.
"Well if the battle band fits" she said. A full blown chuckle escaped So'lek, he couldn't believe he had actually laughed in front of her. He quickly covered it up pretending to cough. "That was not a laugh." He declared. "No of course not that was an involuntary muscle spasm.” She answered sarcastically.
"Exactly." The Navi replied, he felt his cheeks slowly turning a dark shade of blue, he knew she must have seen this but he prayed she hadn't.
He quickly changed the subject by pointing to his sharpened weapons. "Why do you insist on coming to see me?" He asked. "Because I like you" she countered So'lek stared at her wide eyed, the words she spoke came as a surprise to him. No one had told him they liked him in a long time. "Why do you like me? I'm certainly not one of the more attractive males around ." Solek said with an air of confusion. "They don’t really hold my interest "
So'lek's eyes narrowed before he spoke again, he really wanted to know what it was about him that she liked so much. "Do you enjoy my scowl and grumpy attitude? Is that what attracts you?" "Part of it, yes" she admitted. The Na'vi couldn't believe this cute yet annoying female was making him blush. He didn't like this feeling of being vulnerable. "How is that attractive?" He said trying to change topics again.
“I’m not quite sure but I like it” she spoke
"So you like me with my angry scowl and me being rude, then what is the end goal then, do you hope to make me more friendly?" So'lek asked before he sighed thinking she didn't understand his intentions or his pain. "No!, of course not!. And you aren’t always so scowling
" she added "I'm not always scowling?" The Na'vi asked, raising his brows once more he wondered what was wrong with this female. Surely she had to be either crazy or very brave to say these things to him. “ then when am I not scowling?" “When you are with the sarentu " "That does not count." Solek replied in a tone that sounded offended. He couldn't believe she brought up the sarentu, he actually liked teaching the young hunter but it wasn't something he would openly admit.
“So'lek you are acting offended for nothing nobody else is going to hear a word of this conversation” she said. Solek paused before speaking again, maybe this female was right.
"Fine I am not always scowling, but only when I'm being polite to the younglings. But how would you know about that?" "I have eyes, others seem to turn a blind eye when it comes to you for some reason or another.” Solek was used to being viewed as a grump, an intimidating male. The rest of the Na'vi's wouldn't dare get in his way when he was on a hunt but this female seemed persistent to get to know him. "Do you really pay that much attention to me, what is the reason for that?" Solek asked, raising his eyebrows, he was intrigued but also slightly annoyed. "I do not have a straight answer but I feel a pull towards you… I like you "
So'lek's sharp eyes studied her for a moment before he spoke again. "A pull towards me?" He replied sounding a bit skeptical, surely this young female wasn't into him. He had no good qualities, he was a scarred damaged male whose hatred overpowered all else. "I must warn you there are much better males you could be drawn to."
She sighed " You are just as good as any of the others, you just need a little bit of time and patience .” Solek scoffed before shaking his head. "I am certainly not just as good as any other male. And I have no desire to be treated with patience or cared for. I do not need you coddling me." The Na'vi said in a low growl as he glared down at her. “It is not coddling Solek having patience with someone is not coddling” "It sure sounds like it. I'm a grown Na'vi male." Solek replied in a sharp tone, he didn't understand why she was trying to be so nice to him. Maybe she just felt sorry for him. He didn't need her pity, no one deserves pity. “Yes but you have also seen great horrors in your life time and you have not given yourself time to grieve or heal” she spoke softly trying to reason. So'lek's face was suddenly stone. "You have not lived through a war with the RDA, you know nothing about grief, what pain I've lived through." The Na'vi said in an icy tone, suddenly he felt like yelling at her in all of his rage. "you are right I have not seen a war of that size " she spoke calmly
Seeing her being so calm in this situation was infuriating to the Na vi. "Is that the reason you like me? Your curiosity of my past?" Solek said with a slight edge. “No Solek your past is not a thing of importance but I understand you have trauma and it will always be apart of you.” So'lek turned away from her , he couldn't believe this female understood his situation. "You actually seem to understand." The Na'vi said before he paused, he didn't like letting people see his vulnerable side. "But if you understand then, how do you still like me?" "Why wouldn't I like? Why should anything you've gone through change my opinion on you Solek" she asked. Solek paused before speaking again, her words brought the slightest glimmer of hope within him. No one had ever liked him for who he was before, only what he could offer them. He was confused and somewhat hopeful about this female.
"Even with all of my scars and baggage you still like me?" "That's how i've only ever known you So'lek " The Navi was taken aback by her response. She ad a point, she ad only ever seen his scarred face and scarred body. But now as he tried to look back, she had never actually seen him any other way. "But all you've seen is me being rude and angry." Solek mumbled, he didn't like admitting this much to her “I don’t care So’lek” she spoke
Solek paused again, she really didn't care that she had only known his scarred side. The Na'vi felt his heart beating quicken, the thought of her being so understanding was bewildering him, but also it gave him another feeling that he wasn't used to but could identify. "So you have no problems with my scars, my attitude, my personality?" He asked her, there was hope now that his scars didn't scare her away from him.
She kissed his cheek softly. So'lek froze as her soft lips touched his cheek. He was not expecting a kiss nor did he think a female like herself could do that. His face felt like it was on fire as the he just stared at her lips before speaking again.
"Do that again" The words just spilled out of his mouth, he didn't know why but he needed to feel that once more. She kissed his cheek again gently. The rush of euphoria and adrenaline Solek felt after a second kiss was immense. It was unlike anything he had felt before or maybe it was long forgotten. When she pulled away, the Navi could only gaze into her eyes for a moment.
"Are you sure you like me?"He asked his voice sounding a bit shaky, he needed to know.
Solek would not let himself get his hopes up too much, not when he could be left severely heartbroken. He tried not to care if she said she did not have Feelings for him, but it would hurt greatly if she ejected him. She kissed him on the lips this time The kiss made Solek feel as if all his senses had been amplified. The taste of her lips caused his heart to race. The warmth of her body and her scent was intoxicating to him. The Na'vi wanted a chance to return the favor, to show her how much he cared. He placed his hands on her back and pulled her close so that now your bodies were pressed against each other.
He opened his mouth before connecting his lips to hers nd pulled her into a deep kiss.
Solek was breathing heavily after the intense kissing session and the Na'vi had to ask the one question that had been weighing heavily on his mind. "Why are you being so nice to me? I am a scarred damaged male, l am not someone you should be falling for."
She had had enough “Why? What exactly makes you damaged So'lek? Tell me " she argued. So'lek's face turned slightly red when she asked that. "Are you joking? I am covered in scars both mentally and physically. I have been at war for years, I have killed countless humans to protect my home. I've seen my family and friends die. I have killed." The Na'vi spoke slowly, he was beginning to feel the weight of these things again. "You didn't even flinch when I told you this." "Because none of this changes who you are Solek " Solek could not understand how she was still persisting that he was worth caring about. He was shocked, yet pleased that she didn't care. "You're unbelievable." The na'vi said in awe. He pulled her into his lap so that now she was cradled against his chest. He wrapped his arms around her, like he was afraid she might disappear. So'lek couldn't help himself from burying his face in her hair. She smelled like fresh rain and sweet berries. The Na'vi relished in this moment, feeling her body pressed against his.
He ran a hand along her back,gently touching her bare skin. He also enjoyed the feeling of her hair between his fingers as he twisted and twirled the locks in his hand. She gently caressed his cheek
The feeling of her fingers against his face made Solek shiver. He was not used to this soft touch, but he didn't hate it. You're driving me mad, you know that." Solek said softly against your hair as he pulled her in closer. Now that she was against his chest, he was tempted to bury his face in her shoulder and take in her scent but that would only make his desire stronger. The Navi gently nipped at her ear, his heart racing. A part of him felt like a lovesick teenage boy, he was enjoying being so close to her and feeling your body against his. He then gently touched a hand to her chin and tilted her head back so he could look her in the eyes. He looked at her face, studying her facial features. Solek thought she looked angelic. The way the sunlight touched her skin, the way her hair framed her face "You're driving me mad, you know that." Solek said softly against her hair as he pulled her in closer.
Now that she was against his chest, he was tempted to bury his face in her shoulder and take in her scent but that would only make his desire stronger. He then traced his thumb along her bottom lip before speaking in a low tone.
"You are beautiful..." He spoke before he began to trail his finger along her jaw and down her neck. As he felt her warm skin under his touch he suddenly had the urge to mark her as his.
The Na'vi began to kiss her neck and he nibbled gently on the soft skin. He began feeling the strong desire to markher , to make his claim on her visible for all to see. She moaned gently So'lek's heart skipped a beat as she let out a little moan. He smiled upon hearing her make this noise, he wanted to hear it again.
"Oh you like that do you?" He said in a low tone before sucking gently on her neck.
He sighed as she gently caressed his skin and he couldn't help but turn his head to press a soft kiss to her palm . His body was filled with sensations of desire and he had an intense urge to hold her closer. The Na'vi was fighting the urge to pick her up and carry her to his tent so he could do other things to her. For now he knew he had to act with restraint and so, he settled for wrapping his arms around her tighter and pulling her in close to his chest.

Hey honey love your work, I was wondering if you could do what the boys (so'lek, nor, eetu and whoever else) would be like as dad's (hcs preferably) if that's okay, ofc when you can 😁
Here you go, my dear 🥰 Hope you enjoy!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Characters: So'lek, Nor, and Eetu
Fandom: Avatar Frontiers of Pandora
Warnings: Short. Headcanons?? Fluff?? Idk poor warning labels lol
Taglist: @avatar-lover @taronyuhunter @neteyamsyawntu @awesomenessfeet @mooniequeen
~~~~~~~~~
So'lek:
Any child of his will have him wrapped around their little fingers. Sorry, I don't make the rules.
He is their personal jungle gym.
You know how male lions play with their cubs that also helps them create social and survival instincts? Yeah, that's So'lek.
Once those kids get older, it's easier to say "no" to them, and he's easily labeled as the Strict Parent.
He secretly loves the "new baby smell". His mate might not catch a break between children just from this alone.
I see his children growing up to be rambunctious and playful, the opposite of their father. I just think it's a nice contrast. He's gotta have a little bit of sunlight in his life, ya know?
Anyone remember Bambi's dad? The Prince of the Forest? That's So'lek. Go watch Bambi 2 and you'll know what I'm talking about.
Nor:
He's very unsure. Has no idea what he's doing. Poor guy just GOT here.
He will constantly ask other Na'vi around him, "Am I doing this right? How do I-? Wait, shouldn't I try-?"
This makes him the Helicopter Parent, unfortunately for any mate of his that will have to deal with that 🤣
Any small jump those children make off of even the TINIEST of steps will send Nor into a small panic attack.
LOVES holding babies against his chest. It's so warm and fulfilling. Everything else that was once so horrible about his life immediately melts away.
As the children get older, Nor is constantly hounding them about safety. He always needs to know where they're going and how long they're gonna be gone. Sometimes, if they're running late, he's immediately ready to start a search party. You can't exactly blame the poor guy for being paranoid.
Eetu:
The Fun Parent.
Eywa help any mate of Eetu's because they will have to simply accept the fact that he will be the fun parent to their children. No matter what.
Have you ever seen that viral video of the gorilla dad who constantly steals his child away to play while the mother chases him? That's Eetu.
Nefika has always insisted that Eetu should learn to slow down and teach younger Na'vi by telling them stories and warning them of the dangers of hunting. And now, he finally does. While he is still the fun parent, having kids has taught him to slow down.
His children and other Aranahe children LOVE his stories as well. Nefika grins like a cat who got the cream whenever she finds Eetu sitting still, surrounded and trapped by children, eager for more stories.
If Etuwa has kids as well, she and Eetu with take their little ones and go flying together. Flying is a must for any children of Eetu.
Your fic with Neteyam and The Sarentu was amazing I loved it! Would you be willing to write a fic about the Sarentu having a nightmare about being back in TAP? I just keep thinking about our characters reply to Anufi after saving her from being tortured by the RDA “Sky peoples air, one of Hardings favorite punishments” it’s horrifying that they would do that to literal children.
The Sky Breaker: Shadows of the Past
Parings: Neteyam x Fem!Sarentu (Ateyana)
Tumblr media
Genre/Warnings: NSFW/MDNI +18, no use of Y/N, ANGST. All characters are AGED-UP. No smut, only fluff in the end, but still this story is not about romance, even if Sarentu’s relationship with Neteyam is mentioned. So'lek cameo as a brotherly figure for Sarentu.
!DISCLAIMER! Presence of dark and sensitive explicit themes: torture through poison, child abuse, trauma. Please do not read if these topics are not for you.
Little note: Thanks a million, Anon, for your request. It resonated with me so much that I couldn't wait in writing it, surprising myself with the speed I completed it with. Like you, I too was deeply disturbed by that part of the DLC, and even more so by the protagonist's hint about the abuse Harding allegedly inflicted on the Sarentu children. I usually wait at least a couple of days before posting to check for errors with a cool head, but this time I'm so impatient that I can't resist. I hope I managed to satisfactorily touch on all the points you listed, and that the end result reflects your expectations. Thank you again for the challenge you have given me, allowing me to explore even more of the world of Avatar, even in its darkest and most disturbing parts.
@hao-ming-8 you told me to tag you in case I write about So'lek. Although this story is not about So'lek, there is a part about him that reflects the ghosts of his past. I thought you might appreciate it.
Yana crouched in the underbrush, her heart still hammering from the chaos of the last battle. The air was heavy with the acrid tang of scorched earth, a testament to the destruction wrought by the RDA. Beside her, Anufi set silently, the blue of her skin ashen, the fresh burns on her wrists standing stark against her flesh. Her silence haunted her almost as much as her own thoughts. Anufi’s rescue had been harrowing. Finding her facing the ground in a gas chamber where humans forced the Na'vi's lungs to choke on their poisonous atmosphere awakened an old, buried terror. Her hands trembled as she wiped sweat from her brow, memories unraveling in her mind before she could stop them.
She had been little more than a child when she, her sister and the others were taken into the RDA’s TAP. The Ambassador Program, they had called it, a name coated in the syrupy pretense of goodwill. To the humans, it was a symbol of diplomacy, and experiment in ‘peaceful coexistence’. Its true nature was something far darker—a carefully calculated project to mold Na’vi children into tools for the humans’ colonial ambitions. A gilded cage, where their culture, their independence, and even their spirit were systematically stripped away.
The Sky People smiled as they handed out data pads and notebooks, teaching the children about Earth’s history, science, and culture. But those smiles always hid something colder. They’d correct a mispronounced English word with thinly veiled frustration or scowl when a child struggled to manipulate human tools with their three-fingered hands. “It’s for your own good,” they’d say when a child wept, homesick for the forests of Pandora. “This is how you’ll help your people survive.”
Great responsibility for someone who was just a kid.
Aha’ri, however, saw through the lies. She had always been the bold one, the spark to Yana’s cautious flame. While the little sister obeyed quietly, biting back her discomfort, the older one would glare at the instructors with a defiance the set her apart. Her golden eyes, so full of fire, had  unnerved the RDA staff from the start. “That one’s trouble,” they’d mutter as she passed, but for a time, they tolerated her resistance. They wanted to shape her, too, to prove they could tame even the fiercest Na'vi.
Yana, on the other hand, was more thoughtful, more fearful and aware of the superiority the humans had over them because of their technological contraptions. They were on their own turf, here the soldiers and scientists were playing at home, driven by a cruelty and avarice against which a paltry little group of children could do nothing. Moved by this, the younger sister tried to temper the elder's temper, pleading with her to stay quiet. But Aha'ri wouldn’t listen.
“Tsmuke [sister], they’re stronger than us. They control everything. If you fight them—.” “Then I’ll fight harder,” Aha’ri interrupted, her voice sharp as an arrowhead. “They won’t break me.” But Ateyana knew better. The humans’ kindness was a thin mask over something monstrous, and that monstrosity revealed itself one fateful day.
It began in a cultural lesson — one of the RDA’s many patronizing attempts to bridge understanding between humans and Na’vi. Her sister had been tense from the very start, her tail flicking in irritation as the instructor droned on about the technological advancements of Earth, their tone dripping with condescension. “And that’s why humanity’s ingenuity has made us the dominant species,” they stated, holding up a glowing data pad as though it wet a sacred artifact.
Aha’ri patience snapped. With a swift motion, she grabbed the object from the instructor’s hands and hurled it across the room. It shattered against the metal wall with a deafening crash, its pieces scattering like shards of broken pride. “You don’t want to understand us!” Her voice cut through the stunned silence, sharp and fierce. Her tail lashed behind her, and her chest heaved with rage. “You want to own us! To take everything away from us. Our families, our land, our identity!” The other Na’vi children froze, their wide eyes darting between Aha’ri and the Sky People. Yana’s heart sank as she saw the instructor’s face harden, their polite veneer cracking to reveal cold fury.
Within minutes, the incident was reported to John Mercer himself. The administrator of TAP arrived with his characteristic composure, his every movement calculated and deliberate. Mercer had a presence that muffled rooms and chilled blood — a man whose power was as much in his intellect as in his authority. He looked down at the remains of the data pas, then up at the girl, who stood unrepentant, her chin raised in defiance.
“Colonel Harding,” he said, his tone calm but devoid of empathy. “You may deal with this as you see fit.” Ateyana’s blood turned ice. She knew what that meant. Colonel Angela Harding, the TAP’s enforcer, thrived on cruelty. A towering woman with a predatory gaze, she carried herself with the detached air of someone who viewed torment as a mere tool for oder. Her punishment were as inventive as they were brutal, each conceived not just to discipline but to humiliate and break the will of her captives, to withdraw insubordination and replace it with submission. For that monster, breaking the Na’vi wasn’t simply her duty: it was a twisted form of entertainment.
As she arrived in response to Mercer’s orders, the colonel strode into the room, her boots clicking against the linoleum floor, her expression one of faint amusement. Aha’ri maintain her bolshie attitude, but everybody could see the tension in her stiff tail and the subtle quiver in her shoulders. “Ah, the little firebrand,” Harding commented, her voice dripping with mockery. “You think you’re so special because you’ve got a bit of spark, don’t you?” The girl didn’t respond, her golden eyes narrowing in silent insolence, and she chuckled, shaking her head. “We’ll see how long that spark lasts.” When the woman reached for Aha’ri, Yana acted on instinct. She stepped forward, throwing herself between the colonel and her sister. Her entire frame trembled, but she forced her voice to be steady ash she spoke. “Aha’ri didn’t mean it!” She cried, meeting her icy gaze. “She’s just… she’s just angry. Please, forgive her just this time.” “Step aside, child,” Harding said coldly, her eyes razor-sharp like knives, but she refused to move. Her heart pounded loudly in her chest and ears, but she planted her feet firmly on the ground. “Please,” she begged, turning to Mercer, who studied her from the doorway with the detached curiosity of a scientist examining a specimen. “I’ll make her behave. I promise.” He stared at Sarentu for a long time, his head tilted as if considering her plea. “Discipline,” he said finally, his tone almost paternal, “is essential for progress. If you truly wish to help your sister, sweet child, you should teach her to obey.” Tears streamed down her face as she dropped to her knees in front of him, clinging to his lab coat in supplication. “I’ll take her punishment. Just let her go.” “Do you think if she saw you suffering in her place, she would learn her lesson?” The aloofness with which he asked prevented her from answering. “You want to protect your sister, I understand that. But have you ever thought that she is putting you all in trouble with her antics? Ateyana, you are a good girl, but if you always cover for her you will end up doing her more harm than good. Aha'ri needs to learn how to be in the world.”
With a flick of his hand, Mercer signaled Harding to proceed. The colonel didn’t wait for further discussion, she grabbed Aha’ri by the arm and began dragging her away, ignoring the younger Na’vi’s thrashing and curses. Yana lunged after them, her hands reaching for her sister, but two Sec-Ops troopers blocked her path, their like iron as they held her back, ready to point the weapons hanging at their side if necessary. “Don’t do this!” She screamed, her voice breaking. “Please! You don’t have to do this!” Her cries went unanswered, Harding didn’t even glance back. She pulled Aha’ri around like a rag doll. The doors hissed shut behind them, with a mechanical finality that sent a chill through the little girl’s soul.
Aha’ri’s punishment was swift and merciless. Harding took her to one of the facility’s sealed chambers — a tool originally designed to test human oxygen systems in Pandora’s atmosphere but repurposed for a far darker use. She was shoved into a cylindrical space with reinforced glass walls, that allowed observers to watch.
Harding’s fingers hovered over the control panel, her lips curling into a devious sneer. “Let’s see how well she handles a little taste of home.” Yana pounded on the glass, her fists striking the cold surface with frantic desperation. “Stop! Please! She’ll listen! She’ll listen, I swear!” The soldier glanced at her, one eyebrow arched in fake pity. “Oh, she’ll listen. One way or another.” With that, she pressed the button. Inside the tube, Aha’ri face shifted from boldness to confusion as the first wave of Earth’s air flooded in. It was clear but carried a hidden poison — the mixture of gases that made up the Earth's atmosphere, was toxic to Na’vi physiology. And the speed with which it was being administered in the small space made its effects immediate.
Within moments, the girl staggered, her hands clutching her throat as her lungs rebelled. “Breathe, little warrior,” Harding murmured, her voice filled with wicked mirth. At first, the girl resisted, glaring through the glass as if daring Harding to do her worst. But courage and recklessness couldn’t stop the poison from taking hold. The little sister’s breath labored in sync with the oldest’s, as she watched her confident posture collapse to her knees, gasping for air that her body couldn’t accept. Her chest heaved as she clawed at her throat, her eyes wide with panic.
The sight of Aha’ri’s agony — the strength draining from her limbs, the fire in her irises flickering into fear — was more than Ateyana could bear. She turned back to Mercer, who stood silently in the corner, his arms crossed. “Stop her!” The girl sobbed, her voice raw. “Please, make her stop! You’re killing her!” The man regarded her with the same neutrality he had shown throughout the ordeal. “Killing her?” He echoed, as though the idea were preposterous. “No. Colonel Harding knows her limits. Your sister will survive, don’t worry. The question is whether she’ll learn.” Sarentu’s whines filled the lab as she could only watch her sister being tortured.
The minutes dragged on like hours. Aha’ri’s struggles grew weaker, her gasps becoming faint and uneven. Her frame trembled, on hand pressed against the glass, her golden eyes locking with her sister’s as though reaching for help that would never come. Yana could do nothing but press her palms in return, her tears smearing the surface. Then her hands closed into fists, pounded against the window until they bled. She screamed, begged, wailed, but no one came. Behind her, the other Na’vi children huddled in terrified quiet, their eyes averted.
Harding savored the scene with a vague smirk, her arms crossed as though she were enjoying a private show. At last, when Aha’ri passed out, limp to the floor, her chest rising and falling in shallow, ragged breaths, she released the seal. “Enough,” her tone almost bored. The chamber’s doors hissed open, two guards stepped inside to drag the victim out, while the colonel looked down at the motionless girl with disdain “She’ll live,” said with casual, scorn indifference. “Maybe now she’ll learn her place.”
When they returned Aha’ri to the dormitory, Ateyana rushed to her sister’s side. Her skin was damp with sweat, her breath still short, but her beautiful eyes fluttered open as she cradled her. “It’s okay,” the younger whispered, stroking her hair. “You’re safe now. I got you.” But Ahari didn’t respond. She stared blankly at the ceiling, her expression devoid of the fire that had once defined her, replaced by a hollow emptiness that she could barely recognize. Ateyana’s heart ached as she realized the truth: the sister she knew was gone, her spirit crushed under the weight of what she had endured.
From that day, she was different. She stopped speaking out against the humans, her rebellious nature altered by a haunting silence. Yana, too, carried the scars of that day — not on her body, but in her soul. She had failed her sister, failed to protect the one person she loved most.
The memory of Aha'ri’s panting breaths, her despairing eyes, would never leave her. It would follow her into adulthood, a ghost that whispered of her guilt and the monstrous cruelty of the humans she had once begged for mercy. That was the day Ateyana learned a hard truth: mercy was not something to be asked for. It was something to be taken, or forced, or denied entirely. And if she wanted to protect her people, she could never again rely on the humanity of her enemies. She would have to fight with all her might, at the risk of being stained with sin in the eyes of the Great Mother. A promise she made to herself again on the day Aha'ri was killed.
She sat on the thick root of a great tree, her fingers absently tracing the worn fletching of an arrow. Around her, the forest pulsed with life. The gentle hum of glowing flora and the soft rustle of leaves in the breeze seemed distant, muted by the storm in her mind. The memories of Aha’ri scratched at the edges of her consciousness, threatening to drag her into the darkness she had fought so hard to keep at bay.
Sarentu squeezed her eyes shut, trying to focus on the sounds of the nature, the cool texture of the moss beneath her fingers — anything to anchor herself in the present. But the harder she tried to push the memories away, the sharper they became. The hiss of the cell, the anguished cries of her sister, the emptiness in Mercer’s eyes. A shadow fell across her, and a warm weight settled on her shoulder. Startled, Yana blinked and looked up to find So’lek standing beside her. His hand rested lightly on her shoulder, his touch firm bun unintrusive.
So’lek was one of the few people she trusted completely. He had been a warrior long before the RDA’s return and had seen firsthand the destruction the humans could bring. His cheek and temple bore the scars of past battles, and his eyes — amber like a fading sunset — held the weight of someone who had endured loss and hardship.
He didn’t speak at first, his gaze steady as he looked down at her. There was no pity in his expression, only quiet understanding. A gaze that knew the pain of haunting memories. The gaze of someone who had carried his own ghosts through the years.
“You’re far away,” he stated softly, his voice low and even, like the rumble of distant thunder. She tried to muster a reply, but the words caught on her tongue, looking away, ashamed of the vulnerability she was showing.
The man crouched beside her, his hand still on her shoulder. He didn’t press her to talk, didn’t demand an explanation. Instead, he sat in silence, his presence a muted reassurance that she wasn’t alone.
“I know that look,” So’lek said after a moment, his thoughtful. “The way your shoulders tighten, how your tail moves without you even realizing it.” He paused, his warm eyes meeting hers. “You’re fighting something inside, aren't you?” Yana felt her throat harshened. She wanted to deny it, to tell him she was fine, that she didn’t need his concern. Bet the words felt pointless even before she could externalize them. So’lek’s glance held her, stiff and unyielding, and she found herself nodding, almost imperceptibly.
“I think about it too,” he admitted, his tone dropping even lower. His eyes drifted to the forest canopy, his expression longing but far-off. “The things I saw. The things I couldn’t stop. Sometimes they come back when I least expect it. In the quiet moments, when the forest is still, I feel I may be at peace once again, at least a little, they creep in.” His hand gave her shoulder a small, reassuring squeeze. “But you don’t have to face it alone.”
Her lips parted, but she hesitated. So’lek’s words reached something deep inside her, a part of her that had been hidden for so long she’d almost forgotten it existed. For years, she had carried the weight of her guilt and pain in silence, afraid to burden others with the darkness she couldn’t escape. But in So’lek’s eyes, she saw no judgment, only the quiet camaraderie of someone who understood.
“What do you do?” she asked finally, her voice barely above a whisper. “When the memories come?” So’lek tilted his head, considering her question. “I remind myself why I fight,” he said after a pause. “Not to forget, or to erase the past. But to make sure it doesn’t happen again. For the ones I lost. For the ones still here.” Yana stared down at her hands, her fingers still gripping the arrow. His words resonated with her, stirring something in the depths of her chest. She thought of Aha’ri, of Anufi, of the clans who had entrusted her with their lives. Of Neteyam. They were her purpose now, the reason she had to keep fighting—even when the pain felt unbearable.
So’lek rose to his feet, his hand slipping from her shoulder. He turned to leave but paused, glancing back at her with a faint smile. “You don’t have to carry it all by yourself, little one,” he said gently. “If the burden is too heavy, let someone else help you shoulder it.” She watched him walk away, his tall frame disappearing into the camp shadows. The weight of her memories hadn’t lifted, but for the first time in a long time, she felt the faintest flicker of hope. She wasn’t alone—not entirely.
The moment of clarity didn’t last long. As the night deepened and the forest grew quieter, the memories crept back in, stronger than ever, sharper and crueler than any blade. It seized her mind without warning, dragging her into the dark recesses of her subconscious where fear and guilt lurked, waiting.
She was back in the TAP facility, a child again, small and powerless. The sterile white walls loomed around her, closing in like the jaws of a predator. The hum of machinery filled the air, a sound she had grown to dread in those years. Ahead of her, Mercer stood tall, his shadow stretching impossibly long, swallowing the room in its cold grip. His expression was impassive, the same look he had worn when he condemned Aha’ri to her punishment.   Behind him stood Colonel Harding, her fingers drumming against the control panel with rhythmic precision. Tap. Tap. Tap. Each sound reverberated through her chest like the beat of a war drum, growing louder and louder until it drowned out her own breathing. Harding’s lips twisted into a devious smile as her hand hovered over the controls.   Inside the chamber, Aha’ri yelled. It was the same scream she had heard that day, raw and primal, full of misery and pain. The sound teared at Yana’s ears, filling her with a helpless rage that burned like acid in her veins. She tried to move, to stop Harding, but her feet felt rooted to the ground, as if the very air around her had turned to stone.
“Stop!” She exclaimed with a cry of distress. “Please! Stop!”
Her hands moved on their own, pounding against the glass until her knuckles split, blood smearing the surface. But her cries were swallowed by the cold, unfeeling room, just as they had been all those years ago. Aha’ri’s golden eyes locked with hers through the glass, wide with terror. Ateyana’s heart shattered all over again as she saw her sister collapse to her knees, gasping for air, her body convulsing as the poisonous atmosphere ravaged her.
Suddenly, the scene shifted. Ateyana was no longer outside the chamber. She was inside it. The walls pressed in around her, the sterile white replaced by suffocating gloom. The hiss of the oxygen systems grew louder, sharper, until it was the only sound she could hear. Her chest tightened as she drew in a ragged breath, only to feel flames sear her lungs. It was Earth’s air, toxic and alien, invading her body and asphyxiating her from within.   She grazed her throat, panic overtaking her as her vision blurred. Shapes flickered in the dimness—indistinct at first, then blinding. She saw Anufi, her body slumped against the wall, her eyes round and lifeless.   “No,” the girl breathed, reaching for her, but her limbs felt heavy, sluggish. “No, no, no!”
Then another figure emerged, stepping forward from the shadows. Aha’ri.   Her sister’s complexion was pale and gaunt, her once-bright golden orbs now dim and vacant. She stared at young woman, her expression indecipherable, as though she were looking at a stranger. Behind her, a faint, ghostly image of the cylinder chamber from their childhood flickered to life, overlaying the blackness like a poignant projection.
“You failed us,” Aha’ri whispered, her voice merging with Anufi’s in a disturbing, chilling harmony.   She shook her head, tears raining down her cheeks. “I tried!” she gasped, her voice plaintive, barely audible over the sound of her labored breathing. “I tried to save you!”   “You failed us,” they repeated, their voices growing louder, the words echoing in her skull until they became a deafening chant. “You failed us! You failed us!”
The constraining darkness strengthened its grip, the air growing heavier with each passing moment. Her vision swam, the shapes of Aha’ri and Anufi blurring into the shadows. Her own reflection appeared before her, distorted and corrupted, her visage pallid and streaked with tears.   In the reflection’s eyes, she saw all the guilt she had buried for years— the guilt of letting Aha’ri down, of begging Mercer for mercy instead of fighting back, of living when her sister’s spirit had been crushed. And now, the remorse of almost losing Anufi to the same hideous tactics, the same noxious fumes.
The reflection spoke, its tone cold and unrelenting, distorted in sounds that weren’t hers, but resembled all too closely the voice she had grown most fond of, in the endless struggle that was her life. “You think you can protect them now? You can’t even protect yourself.”  The words hit her like a blow to the chest, forcing the last remnants of air from her lungs. She kneel over, the choking poison overwhelming her. Her hands reached out blindly, her fingernails grasping at nothing.   “I’m sorry. I’m so sorry” she murmured, while her reflection took the figure of somebody else.
The darkness surrounding her grew denser, swallowing her cries and the shapes of her sister and Anufi. It was suffocating, cloying, pressing on her from all sides. She reached out, desperate for any tether to pull her back into the light, but her fingers grasped only the void. Then, she saw him.
“Neteyam?” she whispered, her voice trembling with disbelief.
His form was unmistakable — his broad shoulders, the proud set of his jaw, the way his braids swayed gently as he walked. But something was off. His movements were sluggish, his steps unsteady. Yana's breath caught in her throat as he turned toward her, his face ashen and drawn, his bright lemon eyes dull and dead. “No,” she hushed, shaking her head as alarm dig into her chest. “No, not you. Not you too.”
Neteyam didn’t answer. His lips parted, but no words came out, only a soft, wheezing gasp. Her horror deepened as she saw the friction burns on his wrists, raw and angry, identical to the ones Anufi had borne. The result of the straps with which they had taken him there. Aimed at inflicting pain and subduing resistance, as a further form of the utter contempt RDA had for them.
The light fizz of oxygen filled the air, and she realized with sickening clarity that her mate was choking, his body wracked with spasms as he fight for breathe the toxic human atmosphere. She ran to him, her feet moving as though through water. “Neteyam!” she cried, her voice cracking. “I’m here! I’ll save you!”
But no matter how fast she moved, she couldn’t reach him. The distance between them stretched endlessly, as though the murk itself were conspiring to keep them apart. He fell to his knees, his eyes locking with hers for a fleeting moment. There was no accusation in his gaze, only dread and sadness—a quiet, haunting sadness that made her chest feel like it was splitting open. “Don’t leave me!” she shrieked, tears streaming down her face unstoppably. “Please! Eywa, don’t take him from me!” As his body slumped forward, the shadow surged around him, consuming him entirely. Ateyana dropped to her knees, her cries echoing into the void.
She bolted upright with a strangled gasp, her form drenched in sweat. Her hands flew to her forehead, trembling as she struggled to shake the lingering terror of the dream. Her chest heaved as she gulped in Pandora’s sweet, life-giving air, her mind racing to separate illusion from reality. Her surroundings came into focus slowly — the soft glow of bioluminescent plants, the distant hum of nocturnal creatures. She was back in the forest, far from the sterile walls of the TAP facility.
It took her a moment to realize she wasn’t alone. Beside her, lying peacefully on a bed of soft mats and pillows, was Neteyam. Her breath caught as she turned to look at him. The moonlight filtering through the hut bathed his profile in a silvery gleam, highlighting the strong lines of his jaw and the gentle rise and fall of his chest. He looked so tranquil, so alive. Yana’s shaking fingers reached out to touch his cheek, her fingertips brushing against his warm skin as though to reassure herself that he was truly there. The tension in her frame ebbed slightly, a wave of relief washing over her. He was safe. He hadn’t been taken from her, hadn’t suffered the horrors her mind had conjured.
“I almost lost you,” she mumbled, her voice whispery as the wind. The young man stirred slightly, his expression softening in his sleep as though he could sense her presence. Sarentu's heart clenched with a mix of endearment and dismay, her emotions swirling like a storm within her. The nightmare had felt so real, so visceral, that even now, the echoes of it clung to her. Her hands trembled as she touched her throat, half-convinced she would feel the burns of the human oxygen.
Her eyes darted to Neteyam once more. Her feelings for him were undeniable, a bond as deep as the roots of Pandora’s sacred trees. But that love came with a fear so profound it threatened to consume her. She had already lost so much— her family, her innocence, the peace of her childhood. The thought of losing Neteyam, of watching him suffer as Aha’ri had, was a pain she could scarcely bear. For a brief moment, she allowed herself to linger in the solace of him being there, her digits brushing against his hair. But the relief was short-lived.
Yana buried her face in her hands, her body wracked with silent sobs. She had tried so hard to bury the past, to lock away the pain and guilt in the darkest corners of her mind. But saving Anufi had torn open those wounds, forcing her to confront the truth she had spent years avoiding: she couldn’t run from her failures.
As the faint light of dawn began to seep into the forest, she felt the weight of reality settle over her once more. The RDA’s war machines still loomed on the horizon, their engines a constant reminder of the battle yet to come. The nightmare was a cruel reflection of the stakes she faced every day — a reminder that every moment she spent with Neteyam could be their last.
Her gaze shifted to the bow resting nearby, its polished wood shining smoothly in the early morning. There was no room for hesitation, no space for weakness. If she wanted to protect Neteyam, Anufi, and her people, she couldn’t allow insecurities to paralyze her. Her fingers brushed against Neteyam’s cheek one last time before she stood, her movements quiet so as not to wake him. She would fight for him, for all of them. Whatever it took, she would ensure that the nightmare she had seen would never become reality.
She glanced to the floating mountains, and wiped her tears, her hands curling into fists, her resolve hardening like steel. The battle was coming, and she would meet it head-on, fueled by the love that gave her strength and the fear that reminded her what she had to lose. She couldn’t change whar happened to Aha’ri, but she could give her whole self for the future, for Pandora itself.
The past had left its scars, but it had also given her purpose. The Sky People would pay for what they had done. Yana would make sure of it.
You finally reach back at the base, pumped from learning new information on how to hunt with Eetu. Your body straightens up as you notice that So’lek is back in the armory, his body tense as if he’s annoyed or angry at something, as he looks over the ammo for each gun. Your cheeks heat up remembering how he sounded jealous when you contacted him at the Aranahe clan, especially when you spoke about Eetu, you knew he must have noticed how your voice wavered while you were speaking to him, Eywa he must have been weirded out by that. You decide to avoid him for now, heading to the other hall which leads to the kitchen. Ri’nela, who you pass by, must notice the look on your face as she comes towards you as you slide down the wall with your knees tucked towards you and head in them.
“What happened Y/N? I have never seen you like this before. Last I heard you were learning to hunt from a Na’vi named Eetu.” she decides to be down and sit as well with her legs crossed. You want to confide in her about these confusing feelings that you have and that even though you met so many different Na’vi, as well as Eetu who sounded a bit flirty, that these feelings that you have inside you are only reserved for one Na’vi in particular.
So’lek.
You lift your head as you sigh and decide that confiding in her might be the best course of action. You hesitate, the words in your throat getting stuck, not wanting to bother her but at the same time these feelings you have cannot be contained, Ri’nela must have notice the conflict on your face and gives you an encouraging smile, “I have these feelings in my heart that I do not know what to do and it only happens when he is around”
Now, Ri’nela is not stupid, she can immediately tell who the ‘he’ is in this scenario. She would have to be blind not to notice the tension that occurs when you and So’lek happen to be in one place. She hums thoughtfully, “Would this ‘he’ happen to be the Na’vi that saved us from TAP?” she looks at you curiously with a knowing smile on her face as if she already knows all the answers.
You nod as your heart races just thinking about him. You decide there’s no point in hiding anything and just let everything out to her, “I do not understand these feelings that I have, I see So’lek as a very close friend, someone that I can easily trust with anything, someone I know that will be there for me in ways I cannot understand. But I have never felt this with anyone else and I just wish I knew what to do. I feel pulled indifferent directions with my heart telling me to be true to myself and express these feelings to him while my mind tells me that I have to focus on our journey to figure out what it means to be Sarentu.”, you look her  straight in the eyes, just wanting someone to guide you, “I don’t know what to do Ri’nela. I really don’t”
Ri’nela looks at you in a gentle manner, her eyes soft and understanding as she takes your hands gently, holding them to her as she explains what you have to do, “Follow your heart Y/N, always follow your heart”. Ri’nela then notices footsteps coming towards where they are and can tell that it is So’lek from the corner of her eyes. She decides to do a small test, wanting to see if what she thinks will happen, as she asks you, “How was training with Eetu ? He must have taught you all sorts of tricks as I heard he is the best Aranahe hunter in the clan.” Ri’nela notices that So’lek stops abruptly behind the wall, as if to listen to the conversation between her and you.
So’lek heard from one of the resistance members that you were back to the base and he went looking for you, his heart in a turmoil as his mind filled with thoughts of you and Eetu training. He had really hoped that he would be the one to train you, Eetu just rubbed him in the wrong way. Then there was your voice, the longing in it, for some reason just hearing it made him want to rush over and hold you in his arms and make sure you never leave. As he makes his way over to you, his mind focused on speaking with you, he can hear you and Ri’nela discussing something, he continues on his path to you, but then hears Ri’nela ask you what you thought of Eetu and for some reason he decided he wanted to hear your thoughts on him. So’lek knew that eavesdropping was bad and he didn’t want to do it to you, but he just had to know what your opinion was.
You, however, were confused by the sudden change in topic that Ri’nela brought out, you looked at her confused, your brows arched in a questioning manner but decided to just tell her what you thought of Eetu, thinking that she must be curious to know about the other clans, with her being Tashik and all, “Eetu…He’s really nice…He’s a funny character if you ask me, honestly he was really flirty when we first met, but he seems to be a good teacher. He cares a lot about his Ikran Zomey, he’s very passionate about hunting. I think I can get along with him well”, and you meant it. Eetu would also probably like a friend to you like Priya is, you noticed that you never faced the same feelings that you had for So’lek with Eetu even though he was flirty.
Just hearing your thoughts on Eetu, that you would get along well with him. "He is more cheery and adventurous.” So’lek thought bitterly, his tail swishing in agitation as a tight feeling rose up in So’lek’s chest. He did not like this, did not like it at all. He decided he’s had enough of eavesdropping on the conversation and continues on towards you a Ri’nela, his feet stomping loudly as if annoyed, his mind focused on one thing and one thing only.
You.
Your ears twitch, hearing someone heading towards you as if they are on a mission. You nervously turn towards the sound, a squeak unconsciously falling from your lips, seeing that it was So’lek heading towards you with a stern look in his eyes as they zeroed in on you, as if completely ignoring that Ri’nela, who watches in complete amusement of the situation. Your tail curling around you as your heart started beating faster, you cursed under your breath, hoping that you didn’t look like a skxawng (Moron) to So’lek with you being all nervous.
So’lek stops right in front of your sitting form, he bends down and looks at you right in the eyes, his gaze filled with some sort of determination. He sees you blink at him innocently, your gaze on him making his stomach twist in a good way. A very good way. He’s brought out of his thoughts when he hears you voice calling his name in a delicate manner, not understanding why he wants to hear you call his name again and again.
“So’lek?”, You call to him, noticing his eyes dart around your face, you become flustered under his intense gaze, wondering what has gotten him so worked up.
So’lek hums thoughtfully in reply, finally as if coming to a decision in his mind, he opens his mouth, his next words coming as if a command, but not the forceful kind. “Sarentu, I have decided that we train from tomorrow. Learn to hunt as well as gather resources.”, his gaze sharpens again as he continues, “Eetu does not know nor see you as well as I do. I can teach you not only the bow but the gun as well. Can I expect to see you outside the base at dawn tomorrow, Sarentu?”
You were just shocked, if it hadn’t been for Ri’nela nudging you at your side, you would have continued to stare at So’lek like a skxawng (Moron). You break out of your thought, which becomes quickly filled with his words that repeat in your mind over and over, ‘He does not know you nor see you as I do’. You thought to yourself while your stomach fluttered, “What does he mean by that?”. Finally deciding to say something, your words come out in a rush, “Y-Yes ! I will be there, you can expect me, I won’t be late”, just hearing yourself you wanted to cringe, Eywa why were you like this. Why couldn’t you have sounded more calm and collected in front of So’lek.
So’lek looked closely at your face, his face became less stern as if seeing something that satisfied him. So’lek nodded at you and gave a nod to Ri’nela, though it seemed more like an afterthought and got back up to head back to the armory to continue his work. You, on the other hand, was left staring at his back in shock and even as he left your line of sight, you continued to do so. Your tail betrays you by moving in excitement at the prospect of being alone with him during training.
Ri’nela can only chuckle at the scene that unfolded before her. Happy that one of the youngest in the Sarentu clan might have found their someone. She could only hope that everything will go well with you two and that you both follow your hearts. Ri’nela chuckles again because she can tell that you two might dance around each other before owning up to anything. Her final thought comes to the front of her mind before she leaves to do her own thing.
This will be fun. I can’t wait to tell Nor and Teylan about this.
Tumblr media
It’s the next morning and you’re up early, more like you were too anxious and nervous to fall asleep tossing and turning, thinking about the training that you’ll have with So’lek. What did he mean by that ? That he saw you ? Does the Na’vi’s phrase ‘I see you’ not mean I see your soul ? That they see you in your entirety ? With such questioning thoughts in your head, it’s no wonder you didn’t get any sleep. You had been inside the base for the night, deciding to lay on one of those comfy pillows nest stewed about.
Although you were up early, getting ready for the training and heading out seemed to be a big task. Even though you had taken out many of the RDA, You wanted to be confident and reliable for So’lek. You sigh, your tail curling around your feet as you are crouched, arranging the nest back together, deciding that there’s no point in stalling around any longer. You get up, take your bow and arrows where you had hung them on one of the notches around the base and head to the door that leads to the outside, from the front of the base.
While you had been internally panicking and stalling for time before heading out for training, So'lek was already outside the base, leaning on the edge of the walls of the door to the front of the Resistance base, his thoughts for once were so jumbled, he could not seem to think straight nor make any sense of it. He said that the Sarentu would have to learn on her own, even told her that the way to learn and be a Na’vi is to explore Pandora on her own and build her experiences and yet here he is, getting ready to teach her all and make sure she knows everything, just because he did not like that Eetu tried to do it.
So’lek sighs praying to the Great Mother for strength in this path he has chosen for himself, to help him understand his feelings. He has decided he will not ignore these feelings but at the same time, he needs to see how it is with the Sarentu before deciding anything more. It has been a long time that any such thoughts where there could be a possibility of something more with another have occurred and even then, they have not been to this degree where he feels he would be swallowed by it.
Some time has passed and So’lek moves from his spot of leaning on the base and slowly looks around, worried that the Sarentu hasn't yet arrived for the training, thinking that maybe she was hurt from learning with Eetu yesterday or that she is not well and could not get up. Cursing to himself, that he should have checked on her instead feeling heated and jealous over some Na’vi yesterday.
So’lek decides to head into the base quickly, only for a delicate and slightly smaller body to collide with him, as he turns to the base door. So’lek wishes that he could hate the way that he can recognise who it is instantly, not just by the feel of your body on his but even the sweet scent that always seems to emanate from  you, his hands immediately raise to steady the Sarentu by holding your arms gently.
Your hands land on So’lek’s firm and broad chest for steadying yourself and you instantly gaze up at him, your face close to his, you could feel his heartbeat slowly beating faster by the minute as you blink innocently at him in shock. You can feel your own heart start to beat too quickly as well for your taste, making you feel embarrassed that So’lek could possibly hear it thundering as well.
So’lek cannot deny that the Sarentu was very attractive, with her body so close to his like this, her scent more prominent due to the proximity. His yellow eyes flickered to her lips, they looked even more soft and plumped up close than he thought previously , as her mouth was opened slightly in shock, her face so innocent causing unsavory thoughts to rise up, he just wanted to bit- he immediately pushed those thoughts down, shocked and slightly frightened at the images formed in his mind with her.
So’lek tried to calm his breathing which became slightly labored due to his thoughts and decided to just focus on you and the training for now. That he would get back to those thoughts at a later time when no one else would be there.
So’lek brought you closer to his body in a gentle manner, checking over you to see if you had been injured. “Are you alright, Sarentu? Forgive me, I must not have heard the door opening as I was lost deep in my thoughts.” His gaze only made you flustered as you meek out a simple “Sran (Yes).” Your eyes unable to focus on anything other than him.
You just nodded, still reeling from the shock of being so close to So’lek, that it almost felt as if your hearts were connected through contact. So’lek confirmed that you were fine before he stepped back, wanting to put some distance between you two before he did something stupid too early. Whatever he decides to do, he has decided that it would be done at the right time.
Both you and So’lek, head over to a nearby empty patch of the forest to practice your aim. It seems So’lek has collected some materials to be moving targets as well as selecting a place where a few plants of shelter fruit. You look around, taking in your surroundings as So’lek observes you, thinking about how you look at Pandora with such happiness and how you adapt so well to learning the Na’vi way. He calls out to you to start the training. You head over to him as he squats down, you do so as well looking at him curiously.
“Before we start our training, Sarentu, I shall tell you few things about gathering materials for your weapons and clothes. Ingredients for food.” So’lek decides to list out a few important basics for you to know. “Shelter Fruit requires a gentle tug to be pulled. It is best to be collected in the daytime and when it is raining. Fortune Fruit needs to be opened up before collecting it. Fortune fruit comes from the Fortune Leaf Cane. It would be difficult to get without an Ikran. They would make great ingredients with the meat that you collect from the hunt. They would be in best condition once we remove the RDA posts” You mentally note all of this, making sure to concentrate on every word. This would help in your survival out in Pandora.
“From the Night Tree Leaf you can collect the stems to make extraordinary bows. They are best during the night and when it rains.” So’lek gives you a gentle and firm look before continuing, “bring me them, and I shall make a bow for you that shall help you in your journey.” You blush at the thought of So’lek making a bow specifically for you. It felt rather intimate, but you didn’t mind one bit of it. “I’ll be on the lookout for it then.” You give him a confident smile to show him that you can do it.
So’lek nods before standing up, his hands subconsciously taking yours to pull you up.  You stiffen up, not in an uncomfortable way but more like you don’t want him to take his hands away. It seems he doesn’t notice as he heads over to a few of the targets lying about which he had bought and places them in different locations.
He gestures to you to take out your bow and notch your arrow, as he comes closer to you. You make a stance as you did with Eetu when practicing with him, pulling back your arrow as you wait for So’lek’s signal. Finally when So’lek comes close to you, he circles around you, stopping at your back while observing your stance, and clicks his tongue against the roof of his mouth, as if dissatisfied. You tense up, feeling nervous that you made a mistake and also that you couldn’t see him. But So’lek wasn’t dissatisfied with you. No, not you. It was mostly at Eetu, thinking that with his cockiness, he might not have noticed the minute details.
So’lek comes closer as his chest presses up against your back, you take in a sharp breath as his arms circle round you, his hands press your abdomen, “mì Syeha si (Breathe in) when you pull the arrow back, Sarentu” His deep voice close to you as his lips caresses your ears, not fully touching. He pulls back as you let out a small shaky breath, not being ready for such a thing.
So’lek comes back in front of you as you follow his advice of breathing in and pulling back your arrow. He nods and looks over you again, you focus on the target ahead of you, because if you look at So’lek, you will lose all rhyme and reason.
So’lek seems to notice something and comes closer to your front, adjusting your arm which is holding the bow to the side of your body, to be parallel to the ground, while also adjusting the other hand as well, drawing back the string towards the anchor point, where that would be then the end of which you draw back before releasing. “Focus on their weakness, Sarentu. As you use your senses, it will be revealed to you. That is when you hit a precise shot”. He informs you, while holding onto your arms, his touch leaving a lit fire sensation, a good sensation, across your skin.
Although you know you should be paying attention to the stance that So’lek is adjusting you to be in, how can you when he stands so close, his breath fanning across your face. You decide to finally turn your head to look at him, wanting to see his expression, to see if his eyes hold this longing which you hold in you as well. As you face him, you gasp lightly at how intense his gaze on you was, your faces close to one another again, but this time with purpose.
Time seemed to standstill as you both gazed at each other. Each of you confirming what you both wanted and needed to know. As So’lek saw the soft look of desire and something else on your face that something shall not be named for now, he thought to himself ‘to hell with it’ as the humans would say, his face slowly leaning in close to you. You started subconsciously leaning in close as well, your heart thundering in your chest. It felt like there was some connection that drew you both close, not just in mind but in the heart as well.
Just as your lips would touch his, the static from So’lek’s radio starts up with Priya’s groggy voice informing So’lek that Alma wanted to see him about some plans and then Priya cheekily added that she wanted So’lek to ask you to come find her as she wanted to see you and have some breakfast together.
This makes you and So’lek quickly pull back from each other. Both of you felt too flustered and unable to look at one another in the eye after the moment passed. So'lek picks up his radio answers back in a gruff voice, as if strained from holding something back, that he would be there and that he would bring you back as well. You just fiddle with your bow, while internally your mind screams both in happiness that the moment stopped there for now and disappointment that the moment had stopped. You, being unable to make up your mind on focusing on one emotion.
So’lek finishes up the call, his hand coming up to his face to pinch his brow in frustration, while facing the same problem as you are with also feeling slightly angry that he couldn’t control himself looking away and started grumbling as he starts heading over to check on his bow with his cheeks tinted purple.
You see the look on So’lek’s face, even though after confirming previously from his expression about the longing for you, you can tell that So’lek is as affected as you are from this moment. This makes you look away, secretly smiling widely, while a warm giddy feeling arises in your chest.
Training at dawn is a wonderful way to start the day.
Tumblr media
You head out to hunt after training with So’lek, feeling much more confident in your abilities now after training with him. After that incident, So’lek finished his meet up with Alma as you finished up with Priya. He came back to teach you more, but decided to keep some distance with his body tensed as he directed you. You too were able to concentrate and hit all the targets placed by So’lek.
Hence, right after the training you decide to hunt and ask Nefika to teach you how to use these gifts. As you tread through the forest at a quick pace, you can sense with your Na’vi senses that there were a couple of Strumbeasts feeding nearby.
You slowly approach them and stop at a suitable distance, making sure to keep your footsteps light. You focus your gaze on them as you straighten your back to take out your bow,  breathe in and draw the arrow in a quick and smooth motion, using your sense to track the weak spot, which happened to be on the side of the neck of the Strumbeast. You breathe out as you release your bow, your arrow hitting true, in a clean manner.
The other Strumbeast runs away in fear feeling it’s fellow strumbeast fall, you approach the fallen one and bend down. Remembering Eetu’s word, you give your thanks to it as you motion your hands as if sending the Strumbeast off, “I See you. Your Spirit goes to Eywa and your body stays to become part of the people. Thank you for these gifts.” You collect the hide and meat, which seem to be in excellent condition. You also remember Eetu telling you that Nefika will show you what to do with the gifts. You take the gifts and set out towards the Aranahe clan. Hoping this time you would be able to speak with Ka’nat about joining the Resistance in your fight against the RDA if possible.
It takes you a while, but you arrive at the Aranahe clan as quickly as you could, you look around for Nefika and see that she seems to be arguing with Relun. You snort, finding their interaction to be funny. As you approach them you can hear Relun’s voice arguing loudly. “Yes, here I go! Come to look down your nose at me, have you?”
“Now, now. You know how I love your food. But I stand by what I said before. It is not exactly art, is it?”
“I swear to you, one bite of Yovo grilled in Sari seeds and you will be begging for more!”
You don’t want to interrupt them but you really want to keep the gifts fresh as it is, especially the meat. You call out to Relun, “I…have some meat from my hunt? Nefika said you-” Relun turns to Nefika with a frown on his face as he addresses her about you, “You sent this forlorn miscreant to bother me? Everything is a joke, as usual.” He didn’t even hear you out before deciding that you were playing a joke on him!
“Well she said you’re the best cook.” You decide to say in a sweet manner to him, hoping that by complimenting him you can calm the situation down. Nefika laughs at this, “Ah, the child knows how to charm!”
“And honesty from you, Nefika!” Relun continues. He shakes his head and looks at you in an exasperated manner, as if he was already used to these kinds of situations, “I suppose that is typical of her tactics. She thinks flattery will get her everywhere.”
Nefika just dismisses him and calls you over to her, “Come, come. Leave this grump for later! Now we move onto more serious arts. She leads you over to another section of the hometree, which seems to have a workbench. You decide to ask a question that has been bothering you for a while regarding the Hometree.
“Is there something wrong with your Hometree? Etuwa said it suffers…”
“Ah, the Kinglor are uneasy. We have provided for them since their flowers are closed, but…Their numbers are too many” Nefika sighs as she looks away for a moment “Ka’nat would prefer Etuwa to focus all her energies on them.” She then looks at you with a gentle and motherly smile, thinking about Etuwa “But, I think that child does her best.”
Nefika then gains back her vigor, her fiery gaze turns to you, as if fired up by something, “Now! Pay attention. Ka’nat should see you still have some Na’vi skill. And I should like to see it myself” She points to the beautiful woven workbench and watches you carefully with a smile as you approach the workbench with some apprehension and excitement.
You take a breath in and breathe out, trying to calm your nerves and create something that would knock the air out of Ka’nat and Nefika. Being a Na’vi was an important aspect, not just to them but to you as well. You could and you would not mess this up. You create some simple attire, a chest guard, a waistcloth and an armguard, which seems to be in great condition with the materials you have brought to be in great condition as well.
As Nefika watches from the sidelines, she looks impressed by your crafting and places a hand on your shoulder, “Good. Now show Ka’nat how you have mixed the colors with our own. Just as your people once did.” She must see the nervousness in your face at that, and turns you around to face her, one of her hands placed on your head in comfort. It has been a very long time that someone has ever done that for you. Her voice soft and motherly as she says, “Do not be afraid of him. His bark worse than his bite. I will follow shortly”
You nod at her, and head up the Hometree to find Ka’nat. His ear twitches as he hears your footsteps and turns around to face you, he looks over you, assessing you just as he did when you first arrived at the HomeTree, He nods in appreciation as Nefika comes up behind him, a silent support to you, “Nefika has had her way. Now you look more like the Sarentu we remember.” He places a hand on chest, his eyes filled with understanding and sorrow, “The loss of your people pains us. We valued their counsel. But, we know you are not here to offer their wisdom.”
You decide now is as good a time as any to convince Ka’nat about the ongoing havoc that the RDA are causing and hope that he would help in the fight, “The Sky People…The Resistance fights them, but they cannot do it alone.” You plead your case with him.
Ka’nat seems greatly disappointed by your words, His face pulled in a frown, his voice raising as he speaks, “This is why you have come? You stand in the heart of our Hometree. It’s warm embrace. Even you, lost one, must feel it.” You can understand him as well as not at the same time. You do not remember how you lost your clan, having been taken as a small child, you have forgotten everything. It is why this fight is necessary, so that more do not suffer. He continues as his voice sounds pained, “And you ask me to bring war here? No” Nefika looks on in worry at Ka’nat’s dismissal.
“They bring war with them! Please…” You try once more, pleading with all your heart to Ka’nat. If he does not do anything, the Kinglor will suffer, the Aranahe clan will suffer greater loss than ever. But Ka’nat is not convinced, “We Aranahe do not seek conflict. And yet, you goad us, desperate for a fight.”
Desperate for a fight ? You ? You who had only ever wanted to live with your family and friends in peace. You do not understand how Ka’nat can come to such a conclusion. Is it because of the loss of his mate? That he cannot lose anyone else now because of it.
Ka’nat looks at you in a serious manner as he asks, “Do you remember your family?” You do not remember much of your father, but you knew he was the jokester of the family, always making everyone laugh or smile, your mother just as cheerful and full of life, her smile always calmed you and your sister, the ever brave and strong-willed, who you always looked up to.
You wish you could say that you knew, that you had strong memories with them but all you could say was the truth, your voice deflated, “A little. My mother…her smile. Her warmth.” You wished you could be curled by her side once more.
Ka’nat presses on, his voice strained with sorrow and anger, “Did you see her die? Did she smile at you then, helpless, desperate to reassure you? Have you seen Eywa’s light leave someone you love?” ‘yes so stop it’ you think. If he goes on like this, you’ll remember that day. The day your sister left you. ‘Please stop…Aha’ri come back’ You think as tears gather in your eyes, but you refuse to let them go. Ka’nat breathes heavily, his gaze intense, before leaving the area without a word.
Nefika must see your face frown in saddness, her tone taking on a joking manner in order to cheer you up, “Well, you certainly made an impression. Ka’nat is not really rattled. Be careful, ma’yawntu.”
“I wasn’t trying to anger him.” you try to sound strong, but it comes out shaky and like a child who is scared, you look down. Nefika comes closer, and lifts your chin with her hand, her voice gentle and cheery, “Keep your chin up. Pay a visit to the very top of our tree. Our tsahik is back” She points up as she urges you to run along. You smile at her in gratefulness, thankful that the older woman is the way that she is.
You take a deep shuddering breath in and hike up to the top of the Hometree. As you go up, the thought of failing the Resistance, the Sarentu clan and So’lek, makes your determination come back stronger.
You will not give up, no matter what.
So'lek has hated humans with a passion ever since they've step foot in Pandora. They did many horrible things, from destroying the forest to even causing clans to disappear completely. He hated them, he wished that they all would die or just leave Pandora completely. But, he knew that not all humans were the same. Specially the ones who have decided to help him and the na'vi get rid of the RDA. He may not right out say it, but he appreciates it deeply in a way. One thing that he didn't expect was to fall in love. How could anyone fall in love in a time like this? Everyday animals and other people die. It is a risky thing to do since the na'vi and humans are still at war. But even with that reasoning, he still ended up falling for someone. That someone was you.
You were a scientist, who had an avatar body of her own just like Alma. The thing that caught So'lek's attention was how you were willing to learn the ways of the na'vi. You didn't have to, but you did anyways. Half of the time, you'd be in your avatar body, specially while with him. At first he somewhat preferred it that way, but he also wished to see you in as you are. A human. He may not admit it, but he likes seen you in your actual human form more. He doesn't really understand how or why, he just prefers it that way. But he also understands why you decide to be in your avatar more. So it could be easier for you to learn his ways and also so that you could be able to move around comfortably around the forest.
After a while, of the both of you not getting the hints, you and So'lek began a relationship. You and So'lek wanted to keep your relationship on the down low. It's because he doesn't really like bringing attention to himself or you. Besides, what goes on in his private life, is not of anyone's concern. He doesn't mind being affectionate around others, but he saves the other stuff when you and him are alone. When it's just you and him, he is very affectionate. As if, he's a totally different person around you. Normally he doesn't act this way around others, but when it comes to you, he does. This was a form of trust between the both of you.
Tumblr media
That day, you had decided to let your avatar body rest along with your human body. You've been using it so much that you somewhat had bunt yourself out a bit, you needed a break. At the moment, you were in your small sleeping area, while everyone else was doing there thing. You were simply laying in your hammock, with your eyes closed. As a way to relax your mind a bit, along with your back. It was sore from laying in the link pod for many hours of the day. You then felt something or someone over shadow above you. Making you open your eyes to see who it was.
It was none other than So'lek. He was also holding a flower. It was pretty big for your human hands to hold, but you loved the gesture. "Hello yawne, I've brought you this." He said, with a small smile. You sat up from your hammock and took the huge flower. It was almost similar to a sunflower, except it was even bigger and more different. "It's pretty, thank you." You said with a smile, then you watched as he leaned in and kissed you right on the cheek. His lips took up all of your cheek, making you slightly giggle. "So'lek, we'll be seen." You simply said, as he continued to kiss your cheek. He stopped, as if he was thinking about something, then went right back to kissing your cheek. "Let them, I do not wish to keep our relationship hidden anymore." He simply said.
That surprised you a bit, So'lek, no longer minded being seen? What changed? You didn't mind though. You then felt how So'lek moved down and kissed you right on the jawline, under your ear. Making you giggle a bit more. "So'lek! That tickles!" You giggled even more. But that didn't stop him, he just kept on kissing you in that spot making you laugh even more. "I didn't think you'd be ticklish there." He teased, as he jokingly bit the tip of your ear, causing you to laugh even louder. Making your laugh slightly echo around the area.
✰ ft; So'lek x Fem!Sarentu
✰ contains; fluff, obsessed!so'lek, mentions of murder, stalking, gore(?)
✰ na'vi translations; tánhi(star)
Tumblr media
It was a pleasant day at the HQ as usual, humans and few na'vi including dreamwalkers were seen around doing there own duties, as well as So'lek. He had a frown embedded to his face, why? Because of you, his pretty little tánhi.
Seeing you talking with a human, billy specifically. Made his blood boil, out of the people you chose to talk it has to be Billy Nash. He sulked in jealousy as you chuckle and laugh at Billy's jokes.
Finally he stood up and walked over to them. "Oel Ngatie Kamie, Sarentu." He brought his hand to his forehead and let it down making the well known, "I see you" sign.
"Oel Ngatie Kamie, So'lek" you said with a gentle smile making So'lek's heart skip a beat in secrecy, Oh how he wished to kiss that lips of yours but as much as he wants that he knows what he's here for.
"I'm sorry to intrude your talk but I have to discuss something with Billy" He said while placing his calloused hand on the humans shoulder literary towering over the pathetic human. "Oh it's fine, So'lek. I don't mind." you said and put your attention to Billy. "See you around, bill. Hope to hear one of your jokes again." You shot a wink at him before leaving them making So'lek grin a bit.
Once So'lek made sure you were out of sight he dragged Billy in a secluded part of the HQ before looking down at them with fury and anger. "You should know what to touch what's not yours, Billy." So'lek said with evident anger as he thought what to do with this human. "Oh come on, So'lek I wasn't doing anything on them, though I didn't recalled Sarentu calling you as his mate so typically you don't belong to her"
As Billy spoke So'lek's anger was building it up and once the human stopped talking he lunched forwards grabbing ahold of it's neck, suffocating him. "You just don't know, human. Your pathetic and weak and you dare to speak to me that way. Though as Sarentu said hear once more I'll make sure they'll never hear you again."
With a firm grip on Billy's neck he broke it and dropped the lifeless body on the ground mercilessly kicking it even te see if it was still alive.
So'lek eyes we're full of anger as he saw the looked at the body, as much he would never admit he was obsessed with the Sarentu he'll do anything to make them his and his only even forcing tsaheylu.
Itty Bitty Crush
Summary: How they react when they realize they have a crush on you.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Warning(s): None, just Fluff.
Characters: So'lek, Teylan, Eetu, Etuwa, Ri'nela and Nefika.
A/N: sorry if they are a little ooc. I haven't played in a week.
Tumblr media
So'lek ->
• So'lek would likely have conflicting feelings about having a crush on you. On one hand, he is drawn to you by your strength and your passionate spirit. On another, he feels as if his feelings would distract him in his duties or he'd lose the relationship he built with you.
• He would likely keep his feelings hidden, as to not cause any conflict. He'd distance himself from you, not to be cold or harsh, but to hope that the thoughts of you would fizzle out.
• That would obviously just make things worse so he let his guard down for once and let you into his heart. It would take a while for him to confess these things to you.
Teylan ->
• Teylen would likely be embarrassed that he has suddenly developed feelings for you. He'd feel a sudden rush of attraction towards you as he came to the realization. His feelings may be overwhelming at first, but given time, his heart would slowly be drawn in your direction more and more, and he would gain more and more confidence that he truly likes you.
• He might become shy or awkward around you at first, then try to find ways to impress you. He'd follow you like a lost puppy, always trying to talk to you about basically anything.
• Eventually you would notice that he'd become more and more comfortable with you. He'd hang around you more than the others, his touches linger longer, and his face blush whenever you touched him.
Eetu ->
• Eetu would likely be initially confused about the feelings. He would try to rationalize and logically understand where they came from. Once he recognized them, he would probably feel embarrassed and act awkward. He might even feel the need to hide his feelings.
• As time went on, he'd warm up to the idea and try to get closer to you. However, it would take time and a lot of patience for him to open up and accept the fact that he has a crush on you. Even then, he would definitely still be awkward about it.
• He'd quickly feel a warm sensation in his chest, and butterflies in his stomach! He'd feel like he'd been struck by lightning, and his pulse would race! Eetu would feel overwhelmed by all the feelings that come with having a crush, and his reactions would vary! He could blush and stutter one moment then give you cheeky smiles that might be slightly teasing next.
Etuwa ->
• Etuwa would be surprised to realize she had a crush on someone, but would also be intrigued by it. She would take the time to study and observe her emotions, and try to gauge if these feelings were genuine, or just a fleeting attraction.
• After some time, she would likely approach you and share her feelings in an honest and open-minded way, hoping to see if they reciprocated. She would likely express the various qualities you have that make her attracted to you, and hope that this would spur further affection between you both.
Ri'nela ->
• Ri'nela would react with a mix of confusion and excitement! She would become flushed, and may even have difficulty speaking as her heart pounds in her chest. She would try to hide her feelings from you, but there would likely be a hint of nervousness about her that could reveal itself.
• As she is a very strong independent woman, once she realizes she has developed feelings for you she will slowly start to show her soft, feminine side. At the start she will blush uncontrollably when in your presence, and will begin to make up excuses to spend time with you.
• Once she has enough trust in you (after many adventures together, bonding and sharing secrets), she would use a clever joke or flirt with you as an attempt to gauge your interest. Even though she can be stubborn at times, she is loyal towards whoever can earn her heart.
Nefika ->
• Nefika would initially be in disbelief at having feelings for someone else especially you, the Sarentu. She would then perhaps try to hide those feelings. However, once she accepted those feelings and realized they weren't going away, she would likely start to act differently towards you.
• She might be more affectionate, smile more, and potentially even flirt with you. However, she would still be a bit hesitant, wanting to make sure you felt the same way before taking things any further.
• Since she'd find it difficult to express her feelings with direct confrontations, she'd prefer to show them through gestures and gifts. She would swear that it was alright whenever she gifted you with an exquisite attire. However, if you show an affectionate side towards her and make her feel appreciated, she might eventually open up and admit her feelings for you.
