I wanna like, comment on and reblog your post so bad, but I'll keep this anonymous because I don't want people seeing my blog (being a lurker is the best thing for me right now, I don't wanna disturb my peace by inviting drama). Anyway I just wanna say you are 100% correct. It's always been this way. I noticed this very early when I was new to the fandom and I wasn't even Jimin biased (I was drawn to JK's personality because it reminded me so much of my own and I was intrigued by the person he becomes every time he's near Jimin)

This fandom has just never liked Jimin receiving any kind of praise or being acknowledged for his talents or his beautiful personality, and I don't know why. You can just never praise Jimin without people coming at you with some "well x member is better, x member also does this, x member did that too". Even when you come across a BTS video from an OT7 page that highlights Jimin, the comments section will be riddled with praises for other members: "omg but can we please talk about Tae here" "JHope's jawline tho" "Nah it's JK for me" (and these comments will have hundreds to thousands of likes with the ones that praise Jimin barely going over 50 most of the time, and I'm not even kidding)

The thing is I wouldn't be bothered at all by the member praise, I'd just brush it as ARMYs being weird and OT7ifying anything BTS as always. And there's nothing wrong with noticing other members in a video. But the problem is that it only happens with Jimin. Other members receive praise and almost all the comments agree and add to it, but Jimin gets praised and it's like they try to shift the focus. When I was baby ARMY, I felt like I was walking on eggshells regarding Jimin all the time and that whenever I praised him, I had to make sure I insert something about another member too just to create "balance" and not be called an anti, because somehow that's how ARMYs made you feel if you liked Jimin (I felt the same way as a Jikooker, by the way. I couldn't hype their bond without feeling the need to mention their bonds with other members because then I'd be labelled a delulu joker , even though at the time what they had was just a beautiful friendship in my eyes. I feel like the two go hand in hand; being a Jikooker and a Jimin lover idk)

And then there's the thing with establishing anyone who shows special attention towards him persona non grata. Once someone with a huge following (like the YT reactors, big accounts on X) says Jimin is their bias, ARMYs will immediately start watching them like a hawk, waiting for any opportunity to take their words, twist them and accuse them of being diet/undercover Jimin solos. Other members, especially JK, also grab attention from those people like Jimin does, but you'll NEVER see ARMYs giving them grief or calling them JK solos and BTS antis just for praising something about JK the way they do with Jimin biased people.

I can't tell you how many times I've had to see Jimin-biased defend themselves and reiterate that they are not solos and antis of BTS but just like the fcking dude, to getting their accounts suspended because they got mass reported. Just recently a new ARMY dad called ARMYs out for harrassing him just for always pointing out how impressed he is with Jimin and even said "I thought there was such a thing as a bias in this fandom and that most fans have one, so why is it suddenly a problem for me to have one?"

And yes, they do treat Jimin's fans like the scum of the earth, especially his solos. Solos are scum indeed but there's just this weird reaction to PJMs in general that the fandom has as a whole compared to other solos, when the other members' solos, especially Jungkook's, are exceedingly diabolical. You'd think PJMs are the ones who've been harrassing a member for years, always trying to frame him for any and every scandal under the sun, harrassed his family members and managed to get to them by successfully involving the media, prompting them to delete posts about their own son, creating fake accounts and news articles about how his success is manufactured and that his fans are streaming his music through fraudulent means, set the Korean Ministry of Defense on him in hopes that he'll be outed and his life will be ruined.

All of this, for me, has long proven that ARMYs (not all, of course, but a very large majority) just do not like Jimin. For what reason, I don't know. But there's always been this subtle vibe like they don't really consider him a member of BTS. Maybe it's less about dislike and just more about indifference. It's how people have been treating the Jimin hate like it's just another Tuesday.

Responses to it being "just ignore the weirdos/they are just jealous of Jimin/block and move on, it's not worth your time", to people expressing genuine outrage and effectively working to have accounts taken down immediately when the hate is about another member. I used to think Twitter was just a shit app that doesn't really utilize the report button, until I saw just how perfectly fine it works when it's about a BTS member who's not Jimin.

It's how people were so appalled last year and wrote long-winded posts about how PJMs are the absolute scourge of the earth for saying Jungkook slept with BangPD for all that "payola" with Seven, when for literal YEARS before 2023 (as early as 2016) it was JIMIN who was receiving these same allegations from Taekookers and Jungkook solos about how he's been sleeping with the boss for success DAILY, calling him a nepo baby. During FACE era, posts from JJKs were going around talking about they bet he let each and every producer there c*m in him for those Like Crazy remixes.

I'm not at all condoning any hate towards the other members, nor do I believe that tit for tat is the way to go about things. But it really fills my heart with such bitterness seeing how ARMYs never move against the hate Jimin faces beyond writing a half-assed "the hate against Jimin is so forced" comment and calling it a day. But when it's about someone else they come with full defense, calling out PJMs by their name (when they NEVER call other solos out by their name, by the way) and effectively drive them off any platform. Why can't it be the same about all solos and every person who writes a single bad word about BTS?

Anyway this got unnecessarily long. I had a lot more to say but it has escaped my mind, thankfully. I broke my own heart all over again by writing this.

I am very surprised by this attitude. Jimin is superfluous in the group, his fans are superfluous in the fandom. Everyone can talk about everyone, but not about Jimin. And I don’t even understand where this demonstrative ignoring came from. You can’t throw it off to the general tkkrs here. Absolutely everyone does this, no matter what bias they have, which is strange.

Summary: At eighteen everyone takes a blood test to find out their blood types. A, B, or O. Each blood type represents the person’s secondary gender Alpha, Beta or Omega and can be Dominant (+) or Recessive (-).

When small thin Yoongi receives his letter he doesn’t expect A+. There was no way he was an Alpha especially not a dominant. But as time passes he shows no Alpha nor Omega tendencies and frankly he doesn’t care. Working in his father’s electrical business helps pay the bills but Yoongi’s real passion is music.

One very hot day in the roof space of a luxury apartment that Yoongi is rewiring an intoxicatingly pleasant smell churns his insides and he finds himself in need of something to quench his thirst.

Yoongi was unsure how he felt about the affection he received from the other omegas. He didn’t exactly have time to refuse their advances before he was soaking in a huge bathtub with the other two. It was nice to have company and someone to talk to. The two omegas were quick to offer him something to drink and helped wash his hair with gentle hands.

It had been almost twenty years since Yoongi had had a bubble bath and he had to admit it was a lot more fun than a normal bath. The bubbles were so soft and foamy they smelt like lavender and it was making his eyes heavy. 

Kim Seokjin gave a soft chuckle pulling Yoongi’s back against his chest and letting him rest his head on his shoulder. Yoongi was ready to leave the bath, he was starting to feel old with the wrinkles appearing on his fingertips like a prune.

Stepping out first Jimin wrapped himself in a robe, Yoongi thought he would leave but was surprised when he grabbed another robe and held it out. Yoongi went to get up to let Jin exit but when he moved Jimin’s hands followed him with the soft robe.

Yoongi looked back at Seokjin and saw him pulling on another robe and smiling, “You don’t like the robe Hyung?”

“Sorry, I thought you were offering Jin Hyung the robe.” Yoongi lowered his head and obediently put his hands into the sleeves. “Thanks, Jiminie.”

Jimin under all the spoiled and bratty tendencies was such a sweet charming boy who cared a lot about others and Yoongi was happy to get to know this side of him. That he had given the younger boy a chance to open up to him and show his true colors. Or, maybe it was Jimin who took the time to let Yoongi relax and open up with him.

“Do you want to go for a nap, we are going to cuddle in the lounge and watch a movie, you can join us if you want?” Jimin asked, looking hopeful. Yoongi almost gave in not wanting to disappoint the young omega. Maybe this is what they meant by omega’s nurturing other omegas.

Yoongi patted the younger boy's wet hair and smiled softly, “I have some work to do, I was wondering if I could borrow someone’s laptop or computer or something?”

“Of course, Jungkook has one you can use,” Jimin took Yoongi’s hand. It was such a small hand, though he was younger, Jimin was much stronger than Yoongi. “Here it is, I will tell Kookie that you are in here, he is watching a movie too, so you can work undisturbed.”

“Thanks, Jiminie,” Yoongi patted his head again and Jimin beamed at the praise before searching for some clothes to steal from his mate.

Yoongi opened the website he had been using for his mixtape. Selecting his latest opened his newest creation, trying to reach for where he usually kept his headphones but coming up empty and the song started playing. Face red and heart hammering nervously he paused the music and Jimin’s head poked out of the walk-in wardrobe.

“What was that?” Jimin asked, curiously he was slipping on a pair of sweatpants with his athletic build on display. Yoongi took note of the ‘Nevermind’ tattoo on Jimin’s rib cage and wondered to himself what it meant. He and Jungkook were the only two in the group that he had seen tattoo’s on.

“Uh, it was a song that I wrote?” Yoongi muttered embarrassed, “Does Jungkookie have headphones at all?”

“Yeah, I can go ask him.” Jimin smiled, “Can I hear something you have written?”

“Sure,” Yoongi nervously played the song. The beat was kind of old school and Jimin heard some of Yoongi’s adlibs but they weren’t explored fully yet. Jimin was bouncing on the bed to the beat enjoying the sound and vibe. He liked the word play of ddaeng and the ‘one-eight, one-three, three-eight.

Yoongi watched Jimin intently wanting to see his reaction, a little embarrassed when Namjoon’s head popped into the room he was nodding to the beat listening, Hoseok and Taehyung appearing enjoying the sound greatly.

Yoongi had made a guide which was quiet in the background with what he thought the lyrics fit the song, but he had one completed verse. When he first wrote the lyrics he didn’t think it was first verse worthy but he really liked it. Not wanting to waste some dope bars. He kept it for the second verse. As the second verse began his voice came through the room and his cheeks went red.

“Ddaeng.” Yoongi’s voice was strong, accompanied by his deep hum “Mmm…”

Taehyung was hyped by the verse and began jumping around the room excitedly, Hoseok and Namjoon were both sitting there with thoughtful faces repeating chorus’ and enjoying the wordplay. Namjoon began freestyling a small bit at the end using his own play on words for the sound ddaeng, likening it to a cash register, a game of tag, and more. 

“That’s really dope, did you write that yourself?” Jimin asked excitedly looking at the screen for any sign of another name or some sort of program that could have helped him.

“I wrote the lyrics or what little lyrics I have and I made the track using my software. I have a bunch of tracks I produced and have written for but these are the latest ones I have worked on.” Yoongi explained “I made a trap beat with some eastern instruments to basically diss the community for saying that rap music doesn’t fit with Korean culture.

“Can I get you to look at something?” Namjoon said and brought him down the hall to a makeshift studio, “Listen to this…”

Yoongi stood in his robe feeling out of place while Namjoon began typing away on the computer bringing up a program and a file, he pressed play and Yoongi paused it. “I need headphones. I need to hear the layering and everything in depth”

Namjoon nodded, handing him the headphones, and began listening, Hoseok’s voice came in rapping about being a psycho rapping a cypher. Yoongi enjoyed his flow, it was unique, quite colorful, and fun, Namjoon was very intellectual and full of wordplay. They both had their strong points but they were missing an element that most rappers had.

They didn’t have the raw anger that was needed, sure Hoseok and Namjoon were mad but it was lacking. The cypher was amazing, the third verse they wrote together was quite odd and didn’t really bring the anger that Yoongi wanted it to. Almost a letdown.

“The third verse is shot, cut it out.” They nodded “It needs something rougher something to wrap it up, get the final hype. Hoseok has some serious teasing at the start, Namjoon gets real smart but the end needs to be rough. Make the people mad with raw emotion and power behind the delivery that just wasn’t there.”

“He is right,” Hoseok said and Yoongi made a face as he listened to the last verse again taking the lyrics sheet and began making changes adding entirely different lines in places.

“It is good though you just need to deliver it better, get exasperated on the track, that shit sounds like you are fucking proving a point.” Yoongi stood up from the computer and played the track into the tiny soundproof booth. It was a little portable box insulated just like any other booth Yoongi had rented before to work on his mixtape. 

Even though the booths were different sizes they worked the same and Yoongi stepped inside it had just begun Hoseok’s verse and he was reading over the lines getting ready to record when it got to the third verse he took the lines running putting as much gravel and emotion into the lyrics.

He rapped like he was trying to argue with someone about his worth as a rapper. He delivered the verse as if it was his own cypher he let things flow he got to the section that Namjoon had previously performed and the pace picked up, he didn’t let up the whole time and as he hit the last line he let out a loud laugh he was embarrassed to rap in front of anyone. “Hahaha….. YA!”

the game had gone by agonizingly slow for suna, because now that he knew your name, he wanted to know if you were her, his best friend from childhood. he cheered when it called for it, stayed silent when atsumu would serve (really nothing had changed from high school), and searching for you between breaks, hoping to catch sight of you and maybe, depending on how perceptive you were, possibly ask you with his eyes if he could talk to you. eventually he found you, across the stadium, sitting with tsukishima and mai, cheering for both kageyama and hinata.

komori noticed suna’s actions, raising an eyebrow curiously at the fox eyed middle blocker. osamu caught on and mouthed “i’ll explain later” to komori who simply nodded skeptically and let suna continue to stare at you across the way.

between your excited cheering for two fo your favorite people in the whole world, to tsukishima’s annoyed comments about how loud you were cheering, to mai’s laughs as you continued to cheer, you didn’t notice the eyes on you, though in the back of your mind you couldn’t shake the feeling that someone was watching you. you were just being paranoid though, right? who would be staring at you? and if they were, then why would they be staring at you? it wasn’t something you could explain, so you just shook the feeling off and continued to cheer.

at the end of the game, tsukishima meets up with the rest of his first year volleyball team, you and mai following behind because he’s your ride. you excitedly greeted kageyama and hinata, giving both high fives rather than hugs seeing as they were still sweaty. then tsukishima claims he’s had enough of socializing with his old teammates, waving goodbye to them and gesturing for you and mai to follow. you and mai quickly caught up with the middle blocker, still speaking quietly amongst yourselves as tsukishima led the way to the car, driving you both home before he too, headed for his own home.

suna had seen you leave, following quickly behind the middle blocker and whispering quietly with mai, but he chose not to follow, rather, he stayed with osamu, komori, and washio, greeting atsumu as he came out of the locker rooms followed by sakusa and bokuto. suna smiled and congratulated atsumu on the good game, rolling his eyes when osamu and atsumu started to bicker, just like the old days. sakusa and komori were quietly discussing who knew what, and washio was simply off to the side, having congratulated bokuto already. suna went to stand next to the other middle blocker quietly, waiting for komori to finish up what he needed to so they could go back to the teams home.

komori had finished soon enough, heading over to the pair of middle blockers, waving to osamu as the trio left, getting into komori’s car to head out. suna got into the passenger seat, having beat washio to the door, the latter cursing at suna for stealing that spot.

as soon as they were safely buckled up and on the road, komori couldn’t hold it in anymore, so he finally asked the question that had been burning his mind since he noticed suna’s actions. “suna, what, or who, were you staring at during the breaks?”

“oh-” suna muttered, clearing his throat in shock, surprise etched onto his features because he didn’t know komori had caught him. “um- well, when ‘samu and i went out to get dinner, we went to this soba shop that this group went to as well, and there was a girl there that looked so familiar... then ‘samu said she was at the game and that he got her name and- well, let’s just say...i may or may not know who she is.”

“what do you mean ‘may or may not?’” washio questioned from the backseat, eyebrow raised questioning despite the fact that suna couldn’t see it.

“well, it’s been- over ten years since i last saw her, i mean she has the same name, and there are some small signs like the way she smiles or the way her eyes twinkle that give off the vibe that it’s her, but...” suna replied, glancing out the window, missing the look komori and washio exchanged from the mirror.

“well, since you know the name, try finding her twitter, she might be on twitter,” washio suggested, suna nodding slowly in agreement.

first, he typed in ‘l/n’ to no avail, then ‘l/n y/n’ again to no avail. his last hope, which was a huge stretch considering a lot of people could have your name in their users, was to try ‘y/n.’ just as he was about to give up on his search, he came across your profile, the handle making his eyebrows crease in confusion. clicking on your profile, most of your tweets were about someone named eito, the same eito mentioned in your bio, at least from what suna could guess. from reading your posts, he found that eito was your child, and that you seemed to treasure him more than life itself, not that he could blame you when he came across some photos of you and the little boy.

continuing to scroll through your tweets, he was about to give up all hope when he came across an interesting tweet...

his heart jumped to his throat as he stared at the tweet. hyōgō, where she used to live before she moved. no, it couldn’t be her, could it? he knew they hadn’t talked for more than ten years, but just how much had you changed since he’d last seen you?

fingers shaking as he pressed the follow button, didn’t catch the quiet question from komori, worry etched into the liberos features when he glanced over to the seemingly nervous suna. rarely had the libero ever seen the middle blockers usually disinterested or lazy facade fall, but whenever it did, it never failed to throw komori for a loop.

suna quickly typed out a message to you, quickly pressing send before he could chicken out and take back his messages. he was terrified for your response, but if you remembered him, if you could somehow reconnect with him, it would all be worth it, nerves and all.

then he clicked his phone off, though his nerves never eased as he waited for your reply. he was so tempted a few times to go back and delete those messages, but he decided against it, wanting to see for himself if you remembered him or not. little did he know you were already at home, curled up and asleep, aiko having put eito to bed.

when you had arrived home, you profusely thanked the teen for watching over eito on such short notice. she reassured you that it was fine and that she loved coming over to hang out with eito. smiling thankfully, you paid aiko for her services, tipping her a bit extra for the fact she was able to come and babysit on such short notice, before she got a text from her parents to say they were waiting for her to drive her home.

then you started to get ready for bed, going about your nightly routine before you got into bed. no later had your head hit the pillow were you out, quietly snoring peacefully. not too long after you had fallen asleep did your phone ding quietly from it’s place on your nightstand, lighting up the dark room with the light from the small screen.

boy, would you wake up to a surprise tomorrow morning.

fact #1; suna is nervous because it’s been so long since he last saw y/n that he’s not sure if she remembers him or not. not that y/n would be any different. she would be just as nervous if she were in suna’s shoes, if not more nervous.

fact #2; aiko has been babysitting for y/n since eito was a year old. she absolutely adores the child, happy that she’s been able to see the little kid grow up. she was actually the one that found eito when futakuchi had left him at the amusement park. at first she had shaken off the feeling she knew the kid, but upon closer inspection, she found that it was, in fact, eito. she questioned what sort of idiot would leave eito alone at an amusement park until futakuchi had come to get eito. then it all clicked for her. she knew of everyone in y/n’s group, knew how they all were when it came to the little kid.

fact #3; komori has only ever seen suna break down two times, either time not knowing what to do. he usually ends up calling osamu to see what suna needs, as the ex-wing spiker probably knows better what suna needs than he does.

fact #4; y/n has wanted to go back and visit hyōgō a few times since coming back to japan, though she usually gets busy whenever she is able to even think about that, hence the (at first joking) tweet.

✨) summary; l/n y/n is a single mother living with her 5 year old son in sendai. suna rintarō is a professional volleyball player, the middle blocker for the ejp raijin. the msby black jackals vs the schweiden adlers is a game between two of japan’s v league division 1 teams that bring together many old rivals. y/n is dragged to the game by her cousin, tsukishima kei, claiming she needed to get out and do more than just work and take care of her child. reluctantly, she goes along with the usually salty blond — leaving her 5 year old with a babysitter — to watch the game between two of tsukishima’s ex-teammates. suna makes the executive decision that he will be going to the game to support his former teammate and setter, miya atsumu, with komori asking if he could accompany the middle blocker so he could support his cousin, suna readily agrees and they also invite washio to go with them, knowing he’d want to see bokuto as well. a chance encounter at the game of old reunions brings together two old friends and feelings start to re-emerge. follow y/n and suna as they get to know each other again, fend off any unwanted attention, and work through parenthood in “talk about surprises!”

MONDAY, JANUARY 18TH: GOLDY'S LOG

I miss Suga. Scratch that. I miss Agust D. My spirit animal.

I've been thinking about him a lot lately, wondering if his injury isn't an exemption to military service. I wonder if he qualifies, in light of his injury, as an able body. I wonder what their law defines as able body.

I wonder if he passed the legal physical exam and health assessment test when he turned 19, since he's had that injury way before debut. Or if BTS have undergone that mandatory military service assessment since they are all past 19 and what their results are.

Jimin has chronic back pain too. That should qualify him for an exemption to military duty. He can still do desk work if it's that serious.

I should talk to ***** and look into South Korea's law on exemptions to military service.

Moon values the arts and culture industry. There's already been an extension for conscription for the benefit of BTS. Their success and longevity in the spot light perhaps influenced this decision. Should BTS maintain this momentum, an exemption would be inevitable I feel.

I miss them. They've been gone for too long. I'm worried about the impact this is going to have on their popularity if they disconnect from fans for so long or be mechanical about the way they connect with their fans.

I hate the limited access to them. But Scarcity increases the value of a product and it's not surprising if this is the approach BigHit is adopting in the wake of the pandemic.

Limited access not only raises value, it creates demand. Bang PD is a bigbrain marketing genius- I hate it.

They are taking a huge risk with this new marketing strategy. Personally, I'd stick to what works but then I am no marketing guru. Just a consumer who likes to play it safe. I guess I won't be getting hired anytime soon. Fuck.

It's all very fascinating.

What's equally fascinating is the shippers out here on these streets. The Jokers.

I... they confuse the hell out of me sometimes.

How are they going to question my rationality when I talk about moments I feel Jikook are having issues in their relationship or had broken up etc but then have no problem with and even applaud that same rationality when I talk about moments that has led me to believe there is lack of depth in Tae Kook's dynamics or that they are not real by any standard or that another ship in BTS isn't real.

Do I have two minds? Or are they more inclined to be selective in their beliefs based on their biases towards Jikook and against other ships? It's weird.

By the same lens I define Jikook as real, I define Tae Kook or any other ship that includes JK and Jimin as not real. And by that same lens if I feel Jikook aren't together then I'm wrong and irrational?

It really confounds me.

Not sure if they expect me to apply double standards to Jikook in those instances.

I don't think there is right and wrong opinions or perspective when it comes to shipping, but I think if they are right about me being wrong about my perspective on Jikook then I must be wrong about my perspective on any other ship in BTS as well.

I can't be right about one and wrong about another. I'm either right about all or wrong about all.

I can't be 'right' about Tae Kook having 'issues' in their bond in such a way I think it often bars them from fully nurturing their bond and developing depth to it but then be 'wrong' about Jikook also having issues that mess with their bond from time to time when it's the same measurement I use in accessing the depth of bond of both ships.

I really don't understand their way of thinking.

What is right and what is wrong and who decides on that?

I think we ought to substitute right and wrong with 'believe and believable.' The approach to such discourse should be about what one is willing to believe or not believe about certain discussions: I believe this. I don't believe that. Because believes stem from our personal biases towards a subject.

And the people that come running to me with 'look, Jikook smiled at each other in On era so change your mind'

May be I'm reaching on this one. But a single post where V was not even the focus of the post... I think his birthday means a lot to him and he enjoys when people shower him with love and attention and I don't think his birthday is an exception.

And he kept reiterating after such said birthday how he recently discovered he loves to be loved and how he does most of the things he does in order to be loved by his fans, friends and family.

And it breaks my heart that, the headlines read BTS shower X, Y with love on his birthday but the two people close to him were missing from that list this time. The media talks about BTS posting for eachother as them showering eachother with love. Certainly they all know this.

And the fact Jin posted for Tae after Tae's birthday says a lot about Tae and JK. Tae had no intention of posting perhaps because he left JM a message on the packages. With Jin I feel he was overcompensating for not posting for him on his birthday...

JK gets a pass. If JM wasn't happy about him not posting for his birthday, he would have pulled a Jin.

Jimin talking about coming to the realization he loves to be loved makes me think JK withholding his affections openly made him come to the realization he loves to be loved. Just a hunch. And the only reason JK would withhold his affections is if Jimin himself estopps him. Those two give me headaches.

Tae been releasing photos of Jimin and Jhope a lot lately. Not sure how that makes me feel either. I think it's beautiful. But when I think about all these beautiful photos he has of Jimin on his phone and how generous he is with them- I think they would have been more meaningful had he released it on JM's birthday. The snow photo he posted still sits in my Vmin heart somewhere.

E - So i know we Hate™ the pants in their first looks. but i sort of love the jackets. in like an 80s inspired zut suit look. i mean they arent just boring black suits K - the jackets are acceptable. no pants that are as expensive as their clothes are should look so easily creased and cheap E - the crotch creases are real and pleantiful K - they literally went from a hotel suite to a car to a show and it already looks that bad. that's a terrible fabric choice for the event L - yes actually loving the jackets shoulder pads and all. we knew they weren't going to do anything big at an american award show but this is a huge step up from just meh suits. and of course they're still well within louisvitton grip but i think these are some of the best lv fits we've seen (this is of course ignoring the pants) E - the only fits i liked slightly better from LV are the ones they had in the us when they saw cold play last time. JHope wore that checkered suit. those were like fun and funky A - Someone misunderstood what people meant when they said "hour glass figure" and now we have terrible pants but great shoulder to waist ratios

Ex jkkr here, this might be a long ask but I feel the need to explain myself. I see your point. Still it was taken by staff, not them, and pretty much without consent, also the fandom reminded us that jk cuddles with everyone, and the pic alone made everyone angry too, might be another reason (look also bangtan bomb with jk filming jm, everyone delighted in saying how good jk was in filming jhope, and “forgot” about him filmin jm too, another reason of all this strange silence on jk’s part -1-

might be all this hate, “let’s hype other ships so that they don’t hate you”, 2) look at today selcas, most of them are not selcas, they were published on bts official page, not their personal one, again these were decided by staff, as their recent lives, they are funny and cute, but it lacks that personal feel we got when we watch them doing them alone; 3) yes, sk likes jk, but their views compared to the rest of the world is nothing, whenever tk does something, they trend -2- my country is little and kpop isn’t even famous, still during their live and after, tk was the first trend, 4) I sort of became an ex shipper not because I don’t like jk no more, in fact I still do, reason why I follow you, but because I got tired of wars, fanservice, and putting my hopes up, as queer myself I don’t want to see more and hope in that more -3- yes, some moments made them not look like friends at all, but again, seeing how dangerous it is to come out, why doing them? Who knows maybe to see how the reactions would have been, the answer is very negative, the other answer is “maybe because there’s nothing and they felt safe in doing that”, I’m not that young to encourage fanservice because I want to see two boys flirting so that I’ll be happy, -4- , I prefer them to do that IF there is really something (ofc usual fanservice during concerts is normal, they all have fun, I mean more heavy stuff, like rosebowl for example, or the October concerts). It seems to me that it’s not that you don’t support Jikook anymore, but that you’ve separated yourself from it due to the immense opposition it gets. It is possible to still support them without seeing all the hate and wars and toxicity, but I do admit it is difficult.

I was a little confused about some of the things you said, but I got the major picture. Yes, Bighit clearly fuels ships, but I don’t think every selca posted by the company is made with the purpose of fueling shipping. But who knows, maybe I’m naive for thinking that.

And you’re right that it’s unlikely they’re ever going to come out, at least before military service, but in my opinion there’s still merit in being one of the people who is there to support them. We can often be drowned out by a very toxic fandom who for one reason or another contests every Jikook moment that happens, but I think this gives me more reason to be a voice supporting them. 

The consent issue you mentioned is something I’ve thought about too. How much of Jikook’s interaction that we see is something that Jikook were comfortable showing us? Did they consent to the spooning photo being shared? They were both asleep when it was taken- did someone ask them before they posted it? These are valid concerns to me. However, I think there’s evidence that despite the obstacles that are in place for them to show their intimacy to us they seem to want to let us in on it, at least a little bit. They voluntarily showed us GCF Tokyo and Saipan, have by their own choice made many tweets together, Rosebowl was in front of a huge audience, etc. 

I think these are all valid reasons to take a step back and not get too wrapped up in the bubble of shipping and kpop, and remember there are real people and real circumstances behind everything we’re seeing. 

You seem to have a good head on your shoulders. I definitely see your perspectives, even though I might not agree with everything 100%. I’m sorry if this response was all over the place, but I hope you understand what I mean.

The dreaded e word...

ok, so no one really likes to talk about bts going into the army but i think it’ll be hard to get out of. it’s interesting tho because jin’s recent answer to that question is a lot more evasive. of course he says he’s ready to serve when he is summoned but he also says nothing is decided yet. clearly they’re still negotiating something... idk how i feel about that because koreans are so touchy about this subject. people are honestly bitter that they might not have to go. which i totally understand because why would they be exempt? and there’s no way for idols to get out of it like classical musicians apparently. idk, i’m sure there’s a way to find a loophole but i don’t know how since i’m not korean.

the best scenario is that they get to delay until they have gone past their peak which would make sense since they apparently actually make like 0.3% of the korean gdp which is nothing to sneeze at. 

if they have to go now, the best option is still for all of them to go at the same time to minimise the time they are away from the spotlight as a group because as we can see from all the other groups, you can never quite hold on to all the fans even if you have subgruops and individual activities. and the seven of them together definitely make more bank than any small combination of them.

except...

it’s never really been a secret, though people refuse to talk about it, the popularity disparity between the hyung line and the maknae line. i think it’s just the fact that the three of them are just so charismatic as performers and 2/3 of the visual line is also in the maknae line. jimin is not conventionally good looking but the boy knows how to use what he’s got to his advantage is what i’m going to say. 

so if the hyung line goes, the maknae line can definitely hold their own. v i can see might even go do some more acting while jungkook and jimin will probably release more songs as a unit or as solo. or all three will be in a subunit together. but then when the three of them go, will be awks. while the three rappers can definitely continue doing their producing/writing/releasing music, they will not have the same success as the maknae line. they do quite well now (jhope seems to be esp popular in latin america) and will still do decently well as solo artists, but they definitely will need the bts brand more than the younger three. jin will most likely finally do some acting or variety. he’ll do pretty well there cos he has this character he plays for laughs and he doesn’t take himself too seriously and he is actually pretty smart. 

but honestly, i feel like bighit will hate to lose the younger three all at once cos the hyung line unfortunately just can’t hold the fort as well, sorry to say. so i think the smartest choice is still for all of them to go at once and then comeback after 1.5 years together. will make for a much better story. they’ll still lose some steam but it won’t be dragged out. 

it’ll also be interesting when they go because they are just so far above the rest now. the only boy groups that come close are exo, but they are going through their own crisis right now and big bang who i honestly don’t see having another korean comeback tho they might come back as solos or subunits. top is so far gone now i don’t know that he’ll want to do much more as bigbang. there are several bands i see who are up and coming that i can see may take over some of their popularity - ateez, nct 17 and stray kids. in that order. ateez definitely have a similar vibe to their earlier days and nct 17 are already building steam in america. stray kids are definitely marketed in that direction as well. the thing that i think will stop all of them getting to the same height of popularity is that... bts is a bit of a unicorn. i dont even know what has made them so popular even though i’m a fan. like to be honest, they are not that different from a lot of other boy groups other than the fact that they had to learn to market themselves and rely heavily on their fandom to push them forward. someone once said that it’s because they were at the right place at the right time, being around with one direction broke up. and i think that does have a lot to do with it. but i still don’t know what it is. i’m sure they probably don’t eitehr. lol 

the other problem is the size of all those groups. they’re too big. like foreigners aren’t gonna be able to tell them apart. they already can’t tell the other bands from bts. i can imagine how they’ll go around and people wills till think they are bts. because i’m not delusional and i know bts, while are dfeinitely big, are not household names the same way katy perry or justine beiber are. so you can imagine other people aren’t going to be able to tell them apart. just like how i have trouble differentiating the newer bands apart cos i don’t know them. 

what about after bts... i think jungkook and jimin actually will do quite well, either as solo artists or as a duo. they’ve definitely proven themselves with their recent solos which weren’t even promoted. it’s quite interesting. i knew jk had a huge following in us and jimin had a huge following in korea but the two of them just pulled ahead so much is kind of surprising, both in us and korea. i actually don’t want them to push for the us market like us artists because a big part of promotion for us pop artists is having scandals and being on the news all the time and no matter how messed up the korean industry is, i feel like they’re still probably less predatory than the us industry. jimin really needs to get some vocal lessons tho. at least to stop himself from ruining his voice further. he’ll do fine as a solo artist because other main dancers have made careers out of less skills and fanbase but yeah, for his own sake really... 

taehyung will probably go into acting, and probably release music here and there but focus on acting. jin will probably do the same. and maybe do some variety. part of me can also see jin just retreating a bit from the public eye. he doesn’t seem to love the spotlight as much as the others. 

rm, suga and jhope will also definitely release more solo stuff but i can see at least rm and suga doing a lot more behind the scenes stuff as well. jhope has such a distinct style of his own i think his career will be pretty interesting. though he seems to really fail to capture the larger audience sometimes. but yeah he’ll be popular in latin america which is a huge market. 

there’s no purpose to this post. just like all the posts lately, they’re all just random thoughts. 

speaking of solos though. there’s been so much crap about all the solo songs. idk why people are so mad at jikook’s solos doing well. someone even said that v and jin’s solos sound like afterthoughts. i don’t think so. inner child is very in line with v’s own work, esp winter bear. and moon seems to be in a similar vein as epiphany, though not as good.

BTS - Love Yourself | THEORY

So, as you might know, we have written some comeback theories in the past, mainly about HYYH pt.2 and the Peter Pan theory.

But most importantly, we wrote something called the Timeline Theory/ Multiple Universes Theory. (Some of the points we made in that post are still valid, so check it out!)

In these theories we talked about how the MVs can’t exist in the same universe and how ‘Run’ especially doesn’t really fit anywhere.

You could see this as the start of our theory. But after that we stopped talking about it much and even though we theorized about ‘Blood, Sweat & Tears’, we didn’t bother writing anything down.

But then BigHit dropped the MV for the Japanese version of ‘Blood, Sweat & Tears’ and I, for my part, got sucked in again.

Back then I formulated a theory and talked to Moon about it, but sadly we never wrote it down. We only talked about it via voice mail (which I am currently trying to find, unfortunately we text quite a lot.).

My theory was that Jin is traveling through time and different dimensions, trying to avoid a mistake he made. But because he keeps switching dimensions, reality starts to crumble. And it seems like that got confirmed in the last highlight reel.

(I am aware that others have already made the connection, and I’m not trying to sell this as my idea, but rather show evidence that further supports this theory)

So, first to the visual clues in the MV of the japanese version of ‘B,S&T’:

The MV is full of elements suggesting multiple dimensions and time travel.

You can see Jin walking backwards from a crumbling ground and in the last second before the screen changes to Namjoon and his bruised hands, you can see two other Jins. (This is actually the scene that gave me the idea for the theory in the first place)

You can also see Jin in front of something that looks like some kind of wormhole (when I Iooked up the relevance of wormholes in science fiction I came across Donnie Darko and I think the two have a lot in common)

You also have a lot of instances of reality crumbling

The last one being the most important one. Jin is helplessly watching as reality shatters.

So in conclusion, this is the theory I formulated from this:

Jin is trying to save the boys by going through time and changing what he did, but can’t quite find the one mistake that set the events in motion. And rather than helping, he is unable to change the future in a way that everyone gets a happy ending. Furthermore, his interference with time and space leads to the multiple universes crumbling.

And one last thing I noticed in B,S & T:

The usual pairs throughout HYYH and following are Jimin and JHope, Namjoon and V, Jungkook and Suga, and Jin is alone, 

but in B,S&T it’s Yoongi and Jimin, Namjoon and Kookie and less noticeably but still there, Hobi and V (and Jin is alone again of course)

But what’s interesting about that is that each member has his own circle, representing their struggles in the wings shorts, and two always come together to make the four circles on the cover. The circles that come together are Jimin’s and Yoongi’s, Namjoon’s and Jungkook’s and Hobi’s and Tae’s.

Jin’s symbol is a net interestingly enough (or crocodile leather, who knows). But in the logo his circle is empty.

A possible conclusion could be that ‘Blood, Sweat & Tears is a parallel dimension where some things about the boys are altered (aka the pairs they appear in), but other things stay the same (for example their struggles, Hobi and his mother, V feeling isolated, etc.).

Now onto why we feel this theory is supported/confirmed by the new Love Yourself Highlight Reel.

In the second reel we can see Jin getting ready for his date. He looks at the fallen flowers, decides to put on a suit and starts driving.

Then of course his date gets run over by a car and we get this really interesting shot of Jin’s face, that looks like he’s about to wake up from a dream.

Then he goes on to talk about how he wonders if you could be happy if you could turn back time and correct that one mistake and we get a montage of scenes from BS&T, HYYH, the Butterfly prologue, etc. all playing backwards.

And here’s where it gets interesting - we are in the same scene as before, before Jin goes on his date that would ultimately result in the girl getting killed.

But instead of letting the flowers fall he catches them.

Look how defeated Jin looks. Like he failed again (there are actually a lot of instances of Jin looking defeated at the camera/us throughout the MVs. More to that later.)

He puts on his cap that says “different but same”. Which he would be if he travelled back in time. And instead of going on his date, we can assume that he goes back to the sea.

We can also conclude from this, that his change of clothes represents him swapping timelines, “putting on” another Jin and trying to erase his mistake again.

And talking about the sea and this very iconic look, where have we seen that again?...Hmmmmm (I am aware that this shot looks more like the ones in the Butterfly Prologue/HYYH, but you know. Just an idea)

And maybe this is all coincidence but.... really now?

They even chose this as “Jin’s look”. But who knows.

The important thing is that it seems like Jin actually has the power to travel through time and it seems like he is trying to find that one mistake he made that caused everything to go to shit.

What we noticed in the other MVs that supports this theory further:

There is a huge play with perception and time in both HYYH and Wings era.

With time, there’s of course the disconnection of the order of the MVs and the story line.

The order they got released in was I NEED U, Butterfly Prologue, Run, The Wings Shortfilms and the Love Yourself Highlight Reels. But from what we can conclude from the note, the order should be Run, Butterfly, I NEED U/ Wings Shortfilms, and then the Love Yourself Highlight Reels.

(Although there are several scenes in the MVs that don’t fit with that timeline)

We know that they were really good friends (Run) and then went on that trip together (Butterfly). After the trip they didn’t have any contact and Kookie’s accident happened (I NEED U/Wings) and then they are trying to solve their problems on their own (Love Yourself).

Then we also have the graffiti in the background of one MV that says “The Butterfly is the Key” which would fit in nicely with the whole butterfly effect/ time travel theory. (I saw the picture back then and on some posts on tumblr, but I really can’t find it anymore. We will add it later if we can find it. I’m pretty sure it’s somewhere in the Japanese version of the Run MV)

Then there’s this weird disconnection between scenes (especially in Butterfly), where the MV starts with Tae washing away the blood of his father and calling Namjoon (which must have happened after the trip according to the note) and then the MV goes straight into the trip, which doesn’t make sense, since the trip is supposed to have happened before that.

And of course, there’s the weird coincidence that you can hear someone (Jimin?) ‘say help us, help’ when you play ‘Love is not over’ backwards. (Which we linked to time travel in our previous theory)

Now, for their play with reality.

There are many instances where the MVs play with our perception of things and reality.

We already talked about the Japanese version of BS&T and how we can see reality shatter a lot but there is more throughout the MVs.

There are actually a lot of scenes where we can see Jin looking really defeated into the distance/camera.

The ‘Run’ MV especially stood out for me in that regard. There are a lot of jumpy and weird transitions in scenes that left us questioning the connection between the scenes. For example in this scene, where Jin looks at Kookie, we see Kookie looking back and then we are suddenly in the tunnel.

Another example would be Jin’s pictures, where people suddenly vanish, like in Butterfly.

Another big motive is water. We can see a lot of scenes where the boys are submerged in water and are looking directly at us, there’s the scene of V jumping into the water and Jin is also often depicted being close to water (for example Wings).

Water is one of the most common motives in literature and it usually stands for purity, the passage of time, reflection or clarity/reality.

And mirrors

And the last thing we noticed is the house of cards Jin builds in ‘Run’ which I got reminded of when I listened to Jin’s narration in Love Yourself (where he talked about his glittering world collapsing, revealing his deception. His deception being that he can’t save everyone).

So, summarizing all that, all the MV’s show a certain degree of chaos/ dysphoria, supporting our theory that the dimensions are reacting negatively to Jin jumping in time.

And now something we haven’t talked about yet.

We have talked about how Jin has an omnipresent role in the storyline of the MVs and that explains why he is often isolated from the boys, be it in pictures or in the MVs.

But there are also a lot of instances of the other boys becoming aware of what is happening around them and reacting out of character.

There’s the scene in Butterfly where Namjoon writes in the mirror that they all need to survive.

Or there are a lot of scenes where the boys make eye contact with us, the viewers.

Other weird behaviors include Tae destroying Jin’s house of cards, Suga covering Jimin’s eyes so he can’t look at himself, like he knows what’s going on, and others. We won’t elaborate more on this, because this post is already long as fuck, but if you have any questions, feel free to ask!

EDIT - this is an addition to the theory. Someone asked us about the girls in the highlight reels, so here is what Krümmel thinks:

I have seen a lot of theories, for example that the girls represent the other half of the pairs (so Kookie’s girl represents Yoongi and vice versa), or that they represent parts of themselves.

I personally think the latter one is the most plausible. I think that the girls represent the boys’ wishes, needs and also fears. Mainly their wish for companionship and their fear of being alone with their problems. And that they have to let them go to learn how to love themselves.

Tae’s girl represents his wish of being rescued and having someone by his side who takes care of him and who can see through his tough facade, since he saved the girl from possibly being caught by the shop owner, even though she looked like she didn’t want to be saved. He’s afraid of confronting his past and only starts to heal when he leaves the girl and faces the police on his own.

Joon’s girl would symbolize his need of looking over others and his wish to forget what he did to Tae. I think he feels like he failed Tae and is now trying to redeem himself by looking over the girl. He’s afraid of facing the damage he’s done, but he can only help Tae once he faced his guilt on his own, that’s why he didn’t pursue the girl anymore and left without talking to her.

Kookie’s girl represents his want for someone to stay by his side and help him forget about the trauma of the accident and his past, since Yoongi shut him out and the others weren’t there when he was in the hospital. There are theories that he lost his memories of the boys and I think that’s quite plausible. Maybe he wants to start a new life with the girl to avoid having to remember his past. But he can’t be happy without remembering, so he has to be alone first.

Yoongi’s girl represents his wish of someone sticking by his side, even though he tries to push them away. I think she also stands for his wish to be able to compose again. Yoongi has to overcome the feeling that he is the cause of his friend’s misery and allow himself to be with the people that mean a lot to him for him to be able to play the piano again.

Now, Jimin and Hobi are a little more difficult. Both of them are looking for someone to save them. Jimin thinks Hobi will save him and Hobi wishes for a motherly figure to rescue him. I think that’s the reason Jimin has no girl. Hobi is “his girl” and that’s also why he is envious of Hobi’s girl.

Hobi still wants to believe that his mother cared for him, even though she left him, but he has to let go of that to be able to heal. He has to face his trauma to realize that there are other people that really care for him.

With Jimin it’s similar. Even though we don’t actually know a whole lot about him. We know that he was in the same clinic as Hobi, so we can deduce that he is also mentally ill. But other than that, we only know that he is fixated on Hobi and that he is lying to himself about something.

My theory is that he cares a lot about Hobi and is envious/resentful of Hobi’s girl (which represents Hobi’s wish to be cared for) because Hobi doesn’t see how much Jimin cares for him already. There are also indicators that Jimin is in love with Hobi and lies about his feelings because of society and negative stigmas, but I’m not sure how much we can read into those signs.

But anyway, Jimin has to stop lying to himself before he can be with Hobi and the others.

And now onto Jin. I feel like Jin’s girl represents his wish for a peaceful and happy life. If our theory is correct and he has watched his friends suffer for a long time, this idea would become even more plausible. He thinks he can just become better and have a good life but he sees that that can’t just happen when the girl gets run over. His dream of just fixing everything by just becoming a better person, quite literally, gets run over.

He has to learn that he can’t change fate or people and that the best way to a happy ending is caring for his friends. And that he can’t blame himself for what happens to the boys.

So yeah, that’s what I think of the girls.

This got a lot longer than I thought it would, I hope you don’t mind that. Also, keep in mind that this theory also has weak spots.  For example the scene where both Jimin and Hobi’s girl have an accident. That wouldn’t really make sense if the girls are just a representation of the boys’ feeling or wishes.

Is it bad that I feel happy when other fandoms attack Armys? I think BTS fandom is so toxic and arrogant like how they hate on Stray Kids for allegedly copying BTS' concept. I hate how they treat Jin like he is not part of the group. I hate how they defend Big Hit and attack Jin stans for voicing our opinions. Even other fandoms (not BTS fans) treat Jin better than Armys. I'm so glad that they are finally getting called out on their shit

I have two friends who have told me: “You know what? I like BTS, but I can’t call myself an ARMY, because this fandom is so egocentric and so mean even towards its own members.”

Tbh I don’t feel that they are wrong. Armys are a huge community and it’s natural to have every kind of human type in the fandom. I am not saying that all the Armys are bad, but there is a percentage that is a shame to the fandom. Those people have to remember that we are the face of the group. How can someone take BTS seriously if their fanbase acts immature and mean? We are supposed to spread love and not hate, like our boys want, as they support us as much as we support them. 

There is no need to compare and antagonize other groups or sending hate towards others. We need to focus on promoting and support our boys. Likewise the stans of other groups should do the same. I’ve seen cocky comments of Armys saying BTS did what Big Bang couldn’t and that BTS are superior for example. Those Armys have to undestand that Big Bang have accomplished huge acheivements and formed kpop to today’s status. BTS are always humble towards older groups or even younger ones and always repsect the hard work of others. Armys should follow their steps.

On the other hand, I don’t consider someone as an Army, when he/she doesn’t support all the members. I am not against of having a bias and lean towards a member more, because of course someone will appeal to you more than the other, but I don’t accept the hate. Armys are known of having a poll about which member should leave the group, because they didn’t consider JHope attractive enough to be in BTS. Look at them now hyping over his mixtape and saying he deserves the world. Hypocritical much. 

As for being a Jin stan in the fandom is a very difficult task. We ask the most rational and basic things and we get treated like our demands are out of this world. Obviously we wouldn’t complain if Jin was treated right, by the company. I don’t know why some armys attack us for being solo stans. That’s why many times I am loosing faith in this fandom. But there are times, where I see comments of armys whose bias isn’t Jin, but complain on behalf of him in order to have more lines,more screen time and also they comment on how beautiful he sings and looks.I’ve read a friend post on fb on which Jin’s stans were compared to rare and beautiful pokemon. I really liked the simile,because we are one of a kind like our precious Jin.Not to mention, the strongest. ;) That kind of people restore my faith to the fandom and they are my favourite. 

Sometimes I don’t wanna be called myself an Army either, because of the solo stans, the haters and the bad behaviours. But then I remember what BTS have asked and what a true army means.

-Be kind and spread the love

He keeps his phone in his hand and slinks out of his studio. She was supposed to be here with food about 20 minutes ago and frankly, the idea of his fried chicken getting cold was bothering him. As soon as he steps out of the building, he spots her across the road, laughing with some guy. The way she was touching and hitting him drove Namjoon’s jealousy to the max.

Namjoon marches over with his arms crossed, putting on an intimidating face. “Listen buddy I-”

“Oh hey, babe! This is my cousin! I bumped into him on the way here!”

Her words slowly register in his head, leaving his mouth agape and his finger hanging mid-air. Well, shit.

JHope:

His loud gasp startled the group while they were walking towards the cafe after dance practice. The members’ concerned questions were only answered by his frantic finger-pointing and his lopsided lips.

J Hope runs up to the scene that was unfolding behind the cafe’s glass window. All he saw was his girl leaning over the table with his fingers wrapped around her hand.

“Hey! Get your hands off of my baby!” he yelled as he bursts through the cafe. “You, You!” he points to the man. “Who do you think you are huh? Trying to seduce my girl! And-”

He finds himself muffling his words as she clamps her hands over his mouth. J Hope turns to see her face was as red as the tomato soup on her table. Either from anger or embarrassment, he didn’t know for sure.

“I’m sorry,” she apologised to the guy. “This is Hoseok, my boyfriend. Babe, this is Aunt Leia’s son that I was telling you about.” He winces in pain as she pinches his ears.

Even with his ears pinched, he could hear the boys laughing by the window of the cafe. He knew they were not gonna let this go.

Jungkook:

The jealousy in him bubbled as his eyes trained on her hands running along a stranger’s arm.  It didn’t help that said stranger was a man. He distractedly nodded at the droning words around him without leaving the sight of his girl. The bomb in him ticked when the man leant down, whispering into her ears and making her laugh. Jungkook strides up to them, taking her arms and dragging her away.

“What are you doing?” she asked with a frown.

“Taking what’s mine,” he muttered. Jungkook stops abruptly and turns to face her. He was donning a frown as well. “And what the hell do you think you’re doing? Flirting around with a guy when I’m staring right at you.”

She snickered with her arms crossed, “Yes baby, I was definitely flirting with my married cousin about his baby shower.”

His anger subsides while a wave of embarrassment washes over him. The only thing he could do was nod with a toothy smile, in hopes that she won’t kill him.

Jimin:

He didn’t like it one bit. Not the jealousy in him. Not the patheticness he’s feeling. And not the fact that his girl was laughing at another guy’s joke. Jimin bit his lips, holding back from acting needy as he stands at the food table. His face lights up as he sees her walking to him.

“C’mon!” she giggles as she pulls his arms. “I have someone you need to meet.”

On their way there, he puts an arm around her waist, ready to show the man who he was. He puffs his chest and squares his shoulders. This was his girl and there was no one that could steal her away.

He reaches out for the man’s hand and grips it tightly just as she introduced him.

“-my cousin.”

“Oh!” he gasps as he releases his grip on the man’s hand. “I’m so sorry,” Jimin apologised with red cheeks as her cousin winces in pain.

Jin:

“Who is he?” he pouts with a frown. Jin shoves his phone into her hands with her Instagram account on display.

It was a picture she had posted yesterday with a boy. They were too close for his liking; with their arms linked and cheeks smushed against each other.

“You said you were meeting your cousin Ashley. This is not an Ashley. This is a guy,” he said as he crosses his arms, demanding an explanation from her.

An amused laughter escaped her lips as she scratches her chin. “Yeah, my cousin’s not happy that he was given that particular name. His mum has a thing for androgynous names. To this day, I still tease him about it.”

Jin squints his eyes at her, unsure if she was a great liar or if her cousin’s been doomed with the worst name ever.

“Ah, I didn’t know you were the jealous type,” she teases him, pinching his cheeks. She shuts his defensive rambling with a kiss to the lips. “It’s cute,” she giggles.

Suga:

The music was pounding in his ear down to his bones and Suga was not having it. Parties are not his style. People are not his style. And socialising is definitely not his style. But if there was one thing he can’t say no to was her pouts and puppy faces. And so he went along. He winds through the crowd with drinks in hand only to find her saddling up to another guy.

He clears his throat as he takes a stand between his girl and the guy. His lips pursed as he gave the man a menacing look. “If you’re done trying to get into my girl’s pants, I suggest you leave before you get your huge nose broken.”

Suga smirks, satisfied once he saw the man stunned from his words. He gestures for the man to leave while struggling to grasp what she was trying to say.

“What are you doING! HE’S MY COUSIN!” her shrill voice echoed in the room just as the song was cut off.

“Oh…” Suga said, chuckling nervously. After a few awkward silent seconds, he offered an apology, “Hey man, your nose is uh, not huge at all.”

Taehyung:

Taehyung being Taehyung, decides to do something out of the box. He was all about taking matters into his own hands with his weird antics. He grabs the nearest lady and starts buttering her up with his charms while leading her towards his girl and the stranger.

“Hey babe!” he grins. “Ah, you found a date for the party? Me too!” Taehyung gestures to the dazed lady.

His smug smile slowly disappears as he sees her crossing her arms while shaking her head.

“Babe, I don’t know if you were paying attention during the reception, but that’s my cousin,” she said, pointing to the lady he had in his arms. Then she points to the guy standing by her side. “And this is her husband. So if you could please release her to him, that’ll be great.”

Taehyung jumps away from the lady he was holding and rubs his hands on his thighs as if trying to hide away what he did. “Ah hah! I was just joking!” he grins while slowly backing away from her glare. It’ll be a while before he dares to approach her and her frown.

My Masterlist

I went for my first ever concert this April in Bangkok with two of my best friends (Nabi and Bunky, as mentioned in my other Bangkok posts). I am still not over the fact that we actually went, and it’s been four months. I just thought I’d make a blog post because I think I can handle looking back at the videos now without hyperventilating. (edit- I couldn’t.)

Anyway, I will talk about everything in detail- the ticketing process, the days leading up to the concert, and the day of. Also, my ‘favourite moments’ list went on and on so I stopped after a while. Let’s begin! I hope this is slightly helpful at least, and if not, enjoy the video! xD

TICKETING We found out that they were having a concert in BKK in October and began the process of badgering our respective parents to let us go, and in my case, to come with us on the trip. Everything worked out pretty soon and we couldn’t handle our excitement. Then we remembered how hard it would be to get the actual tickets. We prepared ourselves for the worst, obviously, and I had my mom tell me practically everyday ‘don’t be disappointed if you don’t get tickets okay, you can try later’.

The tickets were going on sale in December, and I think we religiously prepared for the ticketing process for a good week before ‘the day’. I don’t think we slept the previous night, I have butterflies in my stomach even as I’m typing this that’s the sheer amount of anxiety we had about it. We all had notebooks with seating charts and which seats to aim for and everything ready. 

The morning of the ticketing, we were up by 6:30, ready with laptops and the webpage open (thaiticketmajor.com). And of course, our notebooks, a pen, and water to last us the hours ahead. Oh, most importantly, we had credit card details written down too. There would be a very tiny window to finish payment, assuming we got tickets. We were on a conference call, dying in anticipation. I had my aunt, mom, dad, and grandfather all walking around the house, probably thinking ‘these kids are mad’. They all helped though, they were my hype-people, giving me food and saying ‘have hope’ xD

It took forEVER to enter the damn website, and once we did, we had to wait in line. We also had other friends on the conference call to help us out- THANK YOU ALL, and all we said for hours was ‘my man moved!!’ (you’ll see in the picture below what I mean). We all used multiple browsers, and for me, Safari worked magic. I got in line at about 8 I think, and finally got into the website at around 9:45. We were on the website from 7 though, refreshing and waiting for it to open. I don’t know how mine was fast, we all got in line at the same time.

Once I reached the end of the line and entered the website properly, there was a lot of screaming in my earphones. ‘STAY CALM YOU CAN DO THIS WE NEED THESE TICKETS.’ I went through, picked seats that were close enough (after about a minute of deliberation, we didn’t have more time than that), and waited to see if it would go through. I think I had to change seats thrice because they were booked by the time I clicked on ‘select’, but we unknowingly got great seats (more on that later). My aunt was sitting ready with card details so we went ahead and paid!! Again, there was a lot of screaming. I think we all went silent for a few seconds just taking it in.

This is what it looked like in the beginning. The man kept walking and taking the green line with him.

Now, the next three months, we kept counting down and planning our trip, it was so much fun researching where to go and what to eat at the 7/11’s (okay that was mainly me). Buying and figuring out what to wear at the concert, listing places to shop there, what to do on the day of the concert- our priorities.

THE MORNING OF 7.4.19 My parents obviously didn’t come for the concert, but they spent that day taking care of us and giving us food because we were so excited, it was like having an out-of-body experience, I swear. We got up by 6:30, got ready (not in concert wear, because the concert was in the evening, and we were going to come back to the hotel after collecting the tickets because it was quite close by to the venue), ate breakfast and went to the venue. We walked around a little bit to find the stalls for tickets. We were greeted by posters of each of the members and a HUGE one of all of them with the concert details.

This is the clearest one I have.

We were sitting in line in the sweltering heat, but thankfully it didn’t take too long, we were early and there weren’t that many people.

  We didn’t know it would be that hot, we didn’t have anything to cover our heads with. Anyway, we got our tickets pretty quickly and then stood in line for army bombs. They give you a sheet with all the merch and you have to select everything you want so it becomes easier. We just got those, got them synced to our respective seats, and then got Fanta xD they were selling giant cups of ice with whatever flavour of Fanta, we all got strawberry. I don’t know why, but I felt the need to include that detail. We then went and got small fans outside on the street. We saw 90% of the people holding fans and we thought ‘oh we can take the heat we’re from India’, but god no we needed them. [Random shoutout to the really sweet girl from Indonesia I stood in front of in line for the army bombs :D] While leaving, a random girl was coming to each of us and saying ‘sorry, please take this’, and I thought it was a pamphlet or something, but it was a cute Hobi sticker ㅠㅠ The concert experience had officially begun xD

EVENING We left at around 4 to go to the venue, the concert was at 7. Adventure time (not the show)- We were in the cab on the way, and the cab driver stopped somewhere and started to talk to us in Thai. We kept telling him we needed him to speak in English and finally, he told us we had to get down there. Google maps showed that we were almost 2 km away from the venue, we thought we could walk, but there was traffic for as far as the eye could see, and we’d get all sweaty and disgusting. While we were contemplating what to do, there were a lot of guys wearing traffic vests (I am so sorry I don’t know what they’re called) and one guy spoke into his phone and showed us google translate, it said we had to get out here and cars weren’t allowed past the point because of traffic. They said they’d drop us on bikes to the venue, and after seeing a lot of other girls going, we decided to go too. This was honestly one of my highlights of the trip, it was so much fun, and such a good initiative.

ANYWAY. We went in and were ogling all the people there, MAN they dressed so well. We saw a queue in the middle somewhere and thought we had to go for the bag check so we joined in. IT TURNED OUT TO BE A GIRL GIVING OUT A FREEBIE. We were so happy with it. We walked around, joined a lot more queues, we couldn’t be stopped, it was too good to be true. We collected so many freebies, and the quality of the photocards and whatever they gave was so so so good, it was unbelievable that people were just giving them out for free. That’s how nice Army’s are :’))))) Here are all the freebies I got.

Army time :’) We were so lucky to get a banner with lyrics from Moonchild, it made it extra special ㅠㅠ

Standing around for a little more, we finally went inside the stadium. I’m not kidding, we all almost cried just entering the place.

LOOK AT IT I MEAN CAN YOU BELIEVE IT

There’s not much to say about the actual concert other than they were amazing, we’re still not fully convinced they’re human, anyone who says they’re not good live, please show this to them for proof that they exist on a meal of their own CD’s. That’s how good they are. BTS has been such a huge part of my life for the past two and a half years, only armys will understand how happy we get when we see them or listen to them. They really are something else, and something so different from usual artists, they never, ever fail to make me smile.

Best moments (in no particular order) in bullet points because otherwise, this will get way too long:

1- Love. Screaming 사랑 사랑 사랑 was the best thing ever, I will never forget the army bombs making purple hearts in the crowd. 2- Yoongi in the glorious red suit for Seesaw + his choker later on. 3- Serendipity- Jimin sitting on the stage like a baby. My friend who isn’t even army watched the clip and said it made her so happy :’) 4- I DON’T KNOW NAN MOLLA. 5- Them walking towards our side. We were shocked by how close our seats were, we had no idea. And we could see them up so close ㅠㅠ 6- Tear. That’s all. 7- Chanting Jhope for Just Dance. We screamed it for a long time and you could see the surprise on Hobi’s face, it was adorable. 8- The fact that we actually got to see Run and I Need U live is insane. 9- Baepsaeeee. We wanted this medley solely for Baepsae. If you know, you know. 10- Euphoria. I feel like Koo and yellow army bombs together were perfect :’) 11- Singularity. Unreal ethereal out of this world beauty of Kim Taehyung cannot be explained. 12- Epiphany. Singing ‘I’m the one I should love’ felt cathartic. I put a nice long clip in the video. 13- Ours being the last concert of the Love Yourself tour was a blessing. 14- Jimin’s adlibs in The Truth Untold. 15- Mic Drop red cult+dance break+Yoongi. 16- Anpanman. This was one of the songs I was most excited for because they’re always so chaotic. 17- So What. I never listened to this song much, but after seeing it live, I love it. It brings back memories of just so much energy and the rush of being there. Also fake ‘mist’ that was apparently water. 18- Army time with Love Myself+confetti. 19- Seeing 50,000 people on the streets all waiting for cabs. I had to include this because it was just so fun xD 20- The number of freebies we got I LOVE ARMIES. 21- Curly hair JK. YEAH WE GOT TO SEE OUR 90’S HEARTTHROB LIVE. 22- The rain. The rain that did certain wonderful things. Again, if you know, you know. Just look up Namjoon pictures from that day, you’re welcome. 23- Tae speaking Thai was the cutest thing ever. 24- Fire dance break. 25- FANCHANT. I was living for it. 26- Army bomb. Just buying it and having it in my shelf now. What a feeling. 27- Large cups of iced Fanta. yes, it’s a highlight for me. 28- There was this girl who screamed ‘Park Jimin, ULJIMA’. An icon. 29- Seeing armys all over the city felt like some weird dream. Honestly from the minute we landed, they were everywhere. In the airport, in the hotel (there were about 60 armys in our hotel), on the streets, e v e r y w h e r e. 30. Going to an actual BTS concert was a dream of ours for two years and we were lucky enough that everything worked out in the end. I couldn’t be happier. I haven’t sung in like 15 years, but I did that day. And the next time I sing will be at another concert, I hope, only in the presence of 50,000 people who truly love these boys. It was a surreal experience, and what made it even better was going with two friends who mean so much to me.

You have known both of them since high school and somehow managed to stay friends for a long time. But lately something has been going on between them, they wouldn’t stay in the same room as the other and Hoseok became really clingy and protective while Jackson tried to keep you all to himself. Their behaviour and constant nagging started to really annoy you so you decided to ignore them for a few days till they stop acting like children. What you didn’t expect was to see them fighting outside your college. When you walked out you saw a huge crowd and heard people screaming and cheering, you decide to check out what was happening as well. When you approached the circle people have made and saw that the ones who were fighting were no other than Hoseok and Jackson you became so angry.

“What do you think you are doing? Especially here at all places!”

When they heard you shouting they immediately stopped and looked up to meet your gaze.

“I, we-“ Hoseok began.

“He was actually the one who started this.” Jackson finished.

“This is going to sting.” you told him pressing a cotton pad with disinfectant on his face.

“Aish. I don’t need this.”

“Yes you do. You both look horrible.” you said glancing between them. “What’s up with you lately?”

They didn’t answer this question either. When you were all done with Hoseok you came up to Jackson. You were about to clean up his face when he grabbed your hand.

“What?” you asked.

“We need to talk to you about something.”

“We?”

“Yes we, as in me and Hoseok.”

“Okay.” you said putting the med kit down. “Then talk.”

You saw how Jackson looked at Hoseok and then back at you.

“Lately-“ Jackson began.

“I think I’m in love with you.” Hoseok interrupted.

“What?”

“You heard me.”

“Is this some kind of joke?” you looked at Jackson for some reassurance but found none.

“And that’s the thing we wanted to talk to you about, because you see, oh fuck this is awkward, I think I like you too.”

“Are you being serious right now?” you asked trying not to laugh. “I need something to drink.”

You went to the kitchen and could feel how their eyes followed. If they are telling the truth than all of that strange behaviour was because of you. No, no, no. They can’t have these types of feeling you have been friends for too long. You searched your bar and took the bottle with the highest percentage. After drinking a few shots you looked up and saw Jackson.

“Maybe you should slow down on this.” he said trying to take the bottle from you.

“How about no.” you stated pouring another shot.

“Look, Y/N, the thing we wanted to talk to you about was that we would like you to choose.” Hoseok explained walking into the kitchen.

“Neither.” you said taking another shot.

“Come on don’t be like that, we know you must also feel something.”

You tried to glare at him but deep down you knew he was telling the truth.

“I’m sorry, I just can’t.” you said raising another shot to your mouth. This time however you were stopped.

“What if we help you decide?” Jackson asked.

You were about to ask what does he mean when Hoseok suddenly picked you up and threw you over his shoulder.

“What do you think you’re doing?” you protested.

“Helping you decide.” he replied.

“Put down.”

“As you wish.” he said throwing you onto the bed.

You wanted to know what they came up with but before you could realize Hoseok pulled you up and kissed you. His lips were soft and warm but you two were interrupted by Jackson walking in.

“Whoa, whoa not so fast cowboy!” he said pulling Hoseok off of you.

To say that you were shocked was an understatement and maybe it was the alcohol but you were completely lost as to what is going on.

“Could you two finally explain?”

“We make you feel good and the one who does it better get’s to keep you.”

You just looked at them in disbelief. Are they really suggesting you have sex with them. But you were already considering it. You bit down on your lip. Yes, you have known them for a long time and yes, both of them are extremely attractive. After a moment of silence you decided.

“Okay.” you said.

“Really?” they couldn’t believe you.

You stood up and went to the closet to get undressed.

BTS Wings Tour 170323 (Newark Day 1) Fan Account

Okay, so here is a really long fan account of my experience at the BTS Concert on March 23rd, 2017 for the Wings Tour. I put this off for a couple of days because I was still not in the right mindset to write this all down. There are also links to all the fancams I took. 

Note about my ticket/seat: I was general admission P1+soundcheck.

I don’t have a lot to say except staff was very strict when it came to filming. I was not going to risk getting kicked out, so I kept my phone out of sight. BTS performed Dope, Save Me, and Baepsae. They were playing and saying things like “please lower so-and-so’s microphone volume” but like most of the crowd didn’t understand it because it was in korean. it was cute. 

Also, i did a really stupid thing, but I knew if i didn’t do it I would regret it. During one of the quiet moments, I screamed “민윤기 멋져” at the top of my lungs. And literally there was no one else saying anything at that moment, so it was mortifying, but I had to do it. I have no idea if he heard or not, but i swear i saw a smirk. KEEP IN MIND that I could totally be projecting my hallucinations on him. Anyway, BTS looked so good without any (serious) makeup on. I don’t know if they were 100% barefaced, but they looked good REGARDLESS. I would refer you to @hobibliophile‘s great fan account for more details. 

Namjoon in a beanie and sunglasses saved my life. And Hoseok was so... HOT. He was the only one kind of getting into the dancing and I screamed so much. SO MUCH.

Main Concert: 

I’m exhausted as I type this. The post-concert depression is SO real. 

Before I really go into the main concert, I just wanted to say that for Newark Day 1, everyone was really supportive of each other. I didn’t see a ton of people pulled out of the pit (I only saw 2). And like while we were on line waiting for the concert, everyone was feeding each other ljfasdk. I basically had nothing on me, and everyone was like “DID YOU EAT? HAVE A COOKIE!” or “HAVE CANDY!” etc... 

Anyway, the ONLY time when it was a mess was when we were trying to get inside the venue, and then the Pushing(tm) began. Thankfully, I was sandwiched in between two people who smelled good, so no harm done lol. My friends and I were like... within the first several hundred people to get inside the venue, but by the time we got there, the extended pit crowd was way too heavy. We got a pretty okay spot by the sides of the extended stage, and it was a BARRICADE spot, so no real complaints. (Next time though, istg if I have to camp out to get front pit I guess that’s what I’ll have to do...)

It was REAL FUCKING CLOSE TO THE STAGE. BARRICADE!

At around 7:59... they start playing Spring Day projected on the main white sheet pictured:

And the lights dimmed after Spring Day played 2x. So you KNEW it was happening. If you notice, the white sheet is being held up by these little clip things. And BTS was behind that sheet!!!!!!!! THEY PULLED AWAY THAT SHEET AND THERE THEY FUCKING WERE.

They performed Not Today. (my fancams: Not Today [1, 2]

My memory is getting vague already, but they did some introduction comments (suga said: “SUGA IN THE HOUSE” and my friend captured me flipping the fuck out), and then jumped right into Baepsae. I was dying during Baepsae, but I did manage to capture the MOST pivotal moment of the performance (for me) HERE. 

I think after that, it was a vcr and some solo stages. This is out of order, but here are all the fancams of the solo stages that I captured:

Honest to goodness... Jungkook is so GOOD at singing and dancing. Like... he’s UNREAL. He is SO STABLE, and his voice is just SO NICE. BUT YOU ALREADY KNEW THAT RIGHT??!!?!? 

The best thing was that my friends and I didn’t really have overlapping biases, so we held each other’s spot anytime there was a solo stage. So when Yoongi’s stage was up they were like “GO” to me hahaha. @jatriciaapungg finally found her bias in hobi, and it was so cute. (Note: he was the ONLY solo stage that started in the extended stage, so she had to run ALL THE WAY BACK after securing a decent spot near the main stage. RIP but we got her to the barricade up front so that she could see properly. BUT OF COURSE IT HAD TO HAPPEN FOR HOBI.) 

Yoongi’s stage... what can I even say... I CRIED near the end. (only a little though because I was trying really hard not to be emotional) He’s so passionate and talented. There was an orchestral arrangement and the cello was beautiful. (He was beautiful.) 

I made a promise to myself that I would limit recording things because I wanted to experience the concert first hand instead of through a screen. But I was physically unable NOT to record Jin singing because he has such a beautiful voice, and Awake is my favorite solo song. 

This is so out of order, but I didn’t record Jimin’s, Namjoon’s, Taehyung’s, or Jhope’s solo stages because I was too absorbed in the performances. Jimin’s dance lines are UNREAL. How were Jimin stans even ALIVE standing near him for his LIE performance????? HOW??? 

Namjoon’s solo... my goodness... They had the phonebooth with a ton of writing/graffiti on it. @jatriciaapungg noticed LUST FOR LIFE written, and I wish I could’ve gotten a pic of that. That phonebooth was so aesthetic. Right before Namjoon started, there was this whale in the background and the crowd let out this collective “Awwwww” so it was nice to know we were all emo together. 

Our other friend (I’ll call her M because I’m not sure of her tumblr?) is a Taehyung stan, so we were like GOGOGOGO when Stigma was gonna start. And like... Taehyung’s outfit was so shiny. He’s so attractive, and his voice. omg. 

JHOOOPE. I have to tell you... Thursday night was ALL about Jhope. Everyone was so WIRED for Jhope. I loved it!!! I love seeing jhope get love you have no idea. He was the only one to start from the extended stage instead of the main stage, but when the dancers started walking over to get into position over at the extended stage it was a like a mad dash of this HUGE crowd of people over at the main stage to secure a decent spot over at the extended stage. This one super tall girl sort of pushed me out of the way, but she looked like she was having a good time jamming to her bias so I wasn’t too mad. I feel like we’re allowed to have those moments for our biases, yknow? 

Okay, so chronologically I’m blanking, but at some point Jimin, Taehyung, Seokjin, and Jungkook were already by the extended stage to get ready for Lost, and HERE THEY WERE:

My fancams for Lost: PART 1, PART 2 You have not LIVED if you have not heard Jin sing. He’s SO GOOD.  And Lost is such a good song omg. 

Then there was Save Me, which was so good. The crowd collectively LOST OUR MCFREAKIN MINDS when Jhope’s part came on. But let’s be real that’s like such an amazing part of the song. I apologize about me screaming when Namjoon came out for his part but he was SO ATTRACTIVE GODDD. 

I NEED U was next, and let me tell you I was so emo seeing this live. I never thought I would actually see them perform this live EVER. (short note: I NEED U was the song that made me really stop and listen to them and acknowledge that YES I liked them to bits. and HYYH came out at a pretty pivotal moment of my life, so by extension I fell in love with bts even more.) I welled up for this but no tears.

Anyway, you’re probably wondering about CYPHER PT 4, and yeah I have that whole thing recorded, so go check it out. Honestly, my heart was palpitating so much. And I wish that I was near the water, but it wasn’t meant to be. I still enjoyed the fck out of that performance. 

Everyone was HYPE for FIRE (part 1, part 2). They performed more for the front, but at my spot in line... I saw a lot of... butt... (im blushing ok. i never thought i’d actually bangtan’s butt LIVE okay!!!)

The medley was right after fire. Honestly, @jatriciaapungg‘s fancam for the medley was EVERYTHING. She and I were standing right next to each other, so her blessed fancam is exactly what I saw.

Notes about the medley: I consider myself to be a mostly Yoongi bias, but I truly love all of them. ALL. Of. THEM. He wasn’t really on our side of the stage but do you know who was???? JHOPE, JIMIN, AND TAEHYUNG THATS WHO. 

Honest to goodness eye contact with Jimin was fucking fatal. And he changed his hair color to that soft brown that makes everyone nut. Taehyung was king of fanservice as expected, but Jimin was such a surprise. My heart was beating so fast because it wasn’t just once or twice that he came over to our end. And I lowkey (kind of sort of) think it’s because my friends were super pretty so make sure you go with pretty friends. 

Funny story about RUN. So towards the end of my fancams you’ll see me like rush towards the front when the boys move from the extension to the main stage. In my friend’s fancam, you can hear go “Unni Run! Gogogogogogo!” (and pls we’re both korean so don’t think we’re into that koreaboo shit lol). 

Right after RUN was 21st Century Girl [part 1, part 2]. They were so playful. Especially Jhope and Taehyung hahahaha. 

After that: Blood Sweat Tears. They had on these nice, expensive-looking blazers omg. 

Pretty stuff: confetti & rainbow ocean 

WINGS [part 1, part 2, part 3, part 4] I lost my fucking mind for WINGS. And maybe this is me being like annoying or whatever but I finally realized for WINGS that the crowd was kind of.... dead. Like we’re all in the front and stuff, and you can tell from my fancam that I was like v hype for it. TBH I wasn’t even paying attention to recording; I was jumping around and having a blast but everyone around me was so still wtf? Ah, it’s not up to me to dictate your own concert experience, but I really understood what people were saying regarding crowds being dead just to record stuff... Keep in mind though... that a lot of people who went to the thursday show were in really bad condition because of how cold wednesday night was...

What an experience... There was so much DRAMA surrounding me going at all, but I’m so glad I went. And to have my first real concert be with BTS has been more memorable than you guys know...

Meet Ups: 

Honestly, I would not have been able to even GO at all if it weren’t for @jatriciaapungg. (The whole thing is a long story.) This was our third meeting, and I was SO HAPPY to get to go see BTS with her and her other friend. I couldn’t have asked for better concert buddies. And honestly we were so cute together. (IF YOU’RE READING THIS WE’RE GOING TO GO SEE BTS TOGETHER AGAIN!) Honestly, @jatriciaapungg is just super pretty on the inside and outside, and her fancams saved my LIFE.

I saw @hobibliophile a couple of times, but  both times we were in line or in a precious barricade spot, so we couldn’t really interact a lot hahaha. But it was great to see her and scream each other’s names from fifty feet away hahaha. 

Okay. So when I finally met bangtan bookclub babes @ohsuga and @triptaech I lost it. We made First Contact right before the concert started, but I got yelled at by security staff when I lingered for too long near a barricade thing separating seated sections from standing. But our real meeting was right after the concert ended, and we met in the cold outside. I tackled both of them in a hug. Let me tell you: they’re both super attractive and my heart was beating so fast because I finally got to meet some of the bookclub fam. We only spent like 20 minutes together because we were all going different directions, but they waited with me for my uber. I miss them already. 

Finally, I said hello to @versigny as I was leaving to go back home by train. (She’s so cute goodness gracious...) I think other writers were there with her too, but I had to leave and catch my train.

Behind The Scenes 3 (1/???)

Author’s note: As mentioned before, I am not done writing BTS 3, but I have become impatient with myself over the series. I will not be posting BTS 3 as regularly as I have the other BTS parts as a way to buy myself more time to finish the rest. What I am posting is from what I have of my final draft so far. Sorry for any errors. Sorry if this part comes off as “slow” or “boring, it is this way because I am trying to introduce alot of details of how the rest of the tour is going to go down.

Summary: You and the boys have begun the tour and have just arrived in the first city in China.

You all had just arrived in Dalian, China. Upon exiting the plane and walking into the airport, there was a huge sea of ARMY waiting to so much as even set their eyes on one of the seven boys. Jungkook grabbed your hand as you walked past the roaring crowd that screamed their greetings and you all headed out to the van waiting outside.

               The van was a bit larger than the one usually used in Seoul; there was enough space to place all your bags and still more room for you to not have to sit on Jungkook’s lap for once. The only ones not in the van were Minho and Eunhee. From what Rap monster was saying, the two of them each got their own taxi rides to the hotel.

               “So, the plan for the hotel is,” Rap monster continued. “There are only going to be five rooms for tonight. One for Hiro, one of Minho, one for Eunhee and I, but honestly that’s just be for me. There is also one room for the hyungs and the last for the maknaes.”

               From where you were sitting, you could see Jin looking confused. “But I thought Eunhee wasn’t going to be around too long. Why are you getting a room just for the two of you?” He asked.

“She’s not, but I gotta keep the illusion alive.” Rap monster explained.

Like Jin, V also looked a bit confused. “What about y/n? Where is she gonna sleep?” his question directed to the leader.

“With Jungkook.”

“Why isn’t she going to be in our room?” Jin asked. “You trust her?”

“Well, they are “dating”.” Rap monster said matter-of-factly.

“They aren’t actually dating!” Suga reminded.

Rap monster turned around and face all of you. “Either she sleeps with me or she sleeps with Jungkook” he threatened

Everyone stayed quiet.

“Now that’s what I thought! She will be with Jungkook like I said so! Besides, Tae will keep an eye on her. Won’t you Tae?” Rap monster’s eyes landed on the now silent boy.

V nodded, accepting his new order.

“Oh! That’s reminded me, all you maknaes gotta charge your phones in my room at night. I don’t want y/n trying anything.” Rap monster finished.

You were all greeted by the August air as you came off the van and walked into the hotel. The bellboys of the hotel unloaded the van while the Hiro checked you all in.

The five rooms were clustered on the second floor. Once you were given the key cards, you all dispersed and situated yourselves before having to head off to the stadium.

The room  you were to share with the maknaes was just an average hotel room. It was quite a large room. It had two full sized beds on either side of the room, separated by the bathroom. The beds were decorated with towels folded into dogs and pieces of chocolate on the tops of the pillows. Large flat screen TVs were screwed on the wall across from each bed, with small dressers under each. There was a small “kitchen” area with a microwave, a coffee maker and a mini fridge stocked with drinks and candies. The other pieces of furniture were only a standard desk and computer chair.

Jimin threw his bag on the bed by the door, claiming it for he and V. You and Jungkook went to the other side of the room and placed your stuff down on the bed by the window. Exhausted by the boring plane ride, you flopped onto the middle of the bed, eating the piece of chocolate that landed on your face. The bed was so big and so soft, especially compared to the sad excuse of a mattress you slept on. This one reminded you of your old bed in your old apartment. “This bed feels like home.” You whispered to yourself.

Jimin came over with arms crossed. Although he felt a bit stressed, he couldn’t help but smile when he saw how comfortable you looked. “You know, you don’t have to share the bed with Jungkook if you don’t want to. I’m sure you’re tired of having to pretend with him. I don’t see why Namjoon is making you guys take things this far.”

“If you want to share the bed with Jimin or something, that’s fine.” Jungkook said, scratching the back of his head. “I’m sure you’re used to sharing the room together, so sharing the bed won’t be too different.”

You sat up and grabbed the towel dog, cuddling it as you thought about their offer.

“Actually, I think they should still share.” V said coming over to the rest of you.

Jimin didn’t look too happy about V’s protest. “Why?!”

“Namjoon took the extra room key from me. I think he is planning on coming in here whenever he wants, probably to make sure y/n is still in here. If he sees that they aren’t sharing the bed, he is going get pretty mad.”

“Well then… Oh! You guys can sleep with one of the sheet separating you.” Jimin suggested. “That way you just have the comforter on top and it’ll still look normal.”

The conversation was interrupted by a loud knock at the door. By the cheerful rhythm, it was easy to guess who was at the door.

Jhope was let in, followed by a drowsy Suga. They made their way into the room until they found you and plopped down in either side of you on the bed.

“ Ah, I was really hoping you were going to share the room with us.” Jhope pouted.

“Me too.” You peeped.

“You’ll be leaving me alone with the monster, the mom and the grandpa!” Jhope snorted.

Suga cringed his face. “Shut up! Y/n should feel sorry for me. I have to share a bed with a fucking horse!”

“Ha! Well, she has to share the bed with Mr. International Playboy over here.” V said.

“The Golden Maknae.” Jimin added. “That’s a handful right there. You guys should feel sorry for her!”

The light mood quickly changed. “You better not pull any stupid shit!” Suga said sternly to Jungkook.

The youngest was taken by surprise. “Woah, chill. Y/n and I are cool now.”

Suga looked at him suspiciously. He was about to go off on him, but remembered Jungkook was the one that helped you from Hiro, so he kept his mouth shut for now. However, his gaze targeted Jimin next. “You better not pull any stupid shit either!” He growled.

Jimin jokingly threw his arms up in the air. “Yo, cool down grandpa. Y/n and I are cool now too.”

Suga didn’t seem to believe him and you could tell he was about to go off on him.

“Yoongi…” You whispered to get his attention off the poor boy. “Can I talk to you real quick?”

His expression was a lot softer as he turned to you. “Yeah.”

You grabbed his hand and pulled him into the bathroom. You closed the door behind you, it being the only way to get some privacy from the rest of the guys.

“What’s up?” He asked, as he leaned over the countertop.

“Can you cut the guys some slack? They aren’t lying when they say we are good now. Ever since what happened with… him… they have been really good with me.”

Suga went back to looking unhappy. “Don’t trust them. They have been nothing but assholes to you. How can you look past all that so quickly?”

You crossed your arms. “Because, they were there when I needed them. Jimin and I talked and now I know everything. I’m still trying to sort everything out, but he’s been genuine with me so far, both of them have.”

“I would have been there for you too you know.” he said staring down at his feet. “If I had known sooner.”

You went over to him and placed a sympathetic hand on his shoulder. “I know… Look, you know them better than I do, you are their friend, you know they have a good side.”

“That’s right! I know them better and I know how they are! That’s why I’m saying don’t trust them so easily!”

You frowned and pulled your arm away from him. It really upset you that he was being so stubborn.

“Aish, I’m sorry. I didn’t mean for that to come out so harsh y/n.” His hand reached out to you and he gently pulled you closer to him. “I just don’t want you to get hurt.” He said softly.

You let him wrap his arms around you. “I know, but that doesn’t mean you have to be so controlling!... Ah. I’m sorry. I get it-“

“Look, you’re scared it makes sense.” He whispered.

You could feel yourself melting in his embrace and you couldn’t help but feel safe with him. “I just want all this to be over. Better yet, I wish this all wasn’t even real.”

“I know, I know… So… um… There is something in need to tell you… I had a little talk with Hiro…”

You pushed yourself out of his arms. “What?!?” you hissed as you moved away from him. “Don’t tell me you brought me up!”

He tried to get close to you, but you backed away from him. “Listen, I didn’t do anything bad. I just took care of a few things.”

You moved over to the counter and hid your face in your hands. “What exactly did you do?” your voice was muffled by your hands.

“I talked- I made a deal with him. He’s promised not to be alone with you when we are all together, he will give you your space. When we are performing, you will stay behind backstage. There may be a stylist or two, but there are going to be guards that won’t let you leave the room. Hiro will be with us on the side of the stage.”

“Pft. You tell me not to trust Jimin and Jungkook, but you’re going to trust Hiro just because you made a “deal” with him?!? What the fuck are you even offering him?!?”

“…Money…”

You couldn’t help but laugh at how ridiculous the whole thing sounded. “Yeah, because money is going to take care of everything!”

He stayed quiet for a while. “I’m just trying to do my best…” he said softly.

You put your head down. “Yeah, I know…”

Without even a knock, the door opened and V popped his head in. “Guys, Namjoon wants us all in the other room.”

Suga threw him a look and with a bit of attitude said, “We’re going.”. He quietly made his way over to you. “Let’s go.” He said with a gentle tone.

“I don’t want to.” You whimpered.

One hand grabbed yours and his other patted your back. “Y/n, it’s going to be okay.” He whispered.

You didn’t fight him as he tried to get you out of the bathroom.

Once he got you out, the other guys were gone and it was only Jhope that stayed behind to wait for the two of you. “So what’s up?” Jhope asked immediately.

“I’ll tell you later.” Suga whispered to him. Suga still held your hand as he led you to the next room with everyone else.

The hyung room was identical to your room, the only difference being the guys’ stuff. Rap monster stood in front of the members as they were huddled along the bed past the bathroom. “Eunhee should be here any second. When we get the shit, we’ll head off for the sound check. We are only here one night so after the concert, we sleep, then head off to Beijing in the morning.” He said.

Without trying to interrupt him, the three of you quietly made your way next to the other members.

“Jungkook’s birthday is on the first day at Beijing. Are we going to do anything in particular to post for ARMY?” Jimin asked.

Rap monster didn’t have a chance to answer because there was a knock on the door. “She’s here!”

You quickly made your way over to Jungkook and wrapped your arm around his to get into character.

Rap monster opened the door to reveal Eunhee standing on the other side. She still looked exactly the as she did a few hours ago. You began to wonder how exactly Rap monster hide the drugs on her so well.

“There she is!” Rap monster smiled as she stepped in. “What took so long?”

“There was just a ton of people and it took a while to get a taxi, but I finally made it!” she smiled.

Rap monster pulled her in for a kiss. “Thanks for doing this for me.” He whispered.

“It was no big deal!” she smiled brightly

“Now, why don’t we get this stuff off you?” he pulled her in for a kiss before turning to the rest of you all. “Just give us a few minutes.” He said as he playfully dragged her into the bathroom.

You couldn’t help but feel bad for Eunhee. Sure, she made the decision to traffic drugs, but so would many other girls if their bias one day told them to do so. Heck, if Jungkook told you to do this back when he was your bias, you would have done it too. You would have done anything for him or for the other guys for that matter. So yes, Eunhee is knowingly doing something extremely illegal, but what she doesn’t know is that she is just a pawn in Rap monster’s plan and soon he’d be done with her. It was that aspect that upset you the most. From the little bit you had seen of her, she seemed like a nice and confident girl. She seemed like a great person, someone who had a lot going for them. You felt so bad for her.

“Hey, what’s wrong?” Jungkook whispered.

“Huh? Nothing.” You mumbled.

Rap monster and Eunhee soon came out of the bathroom. There was a huge stack of duct tape sacks in Rap monster’s hands. He tossed them on the bed and told Jin, “Give Hoseok his shit and keep the rest in the tape.” Then he led Eunhee towards the door. “We have to get ready for the sound check right now. You go back to our room and in a few hours a car is going to come by to pick you up and take you to the stadium. Do you wanna see the show or wait for me backstage?”

“Hhhhmmm… I wanna see you guys perform!” she said cutely.

“Then a front row ticket is what you get! You’ll just have to go to the ticket booth to pick it up. Now, go relax.” He gave her a deep kiss before letting her go off to the room. His demeanor changed the second the door clicked shut. “We got ten minutes then we got to go.” He said to the rest of you.

During the sound check, you and the manager sat in the stands as the guys did their thing. Hiro, as he always did, sat casually with his phone as if nothing had happened. The only thing that was different was that he was actually giving you your space, sitting about 7 seats away from you. When the guys were getting ready, you sat on the couch and he stayed by the door the whole time. Things had gone on as Suga had described. Rap monster had become suspicious when the manager was leaving with them to wait by the stage, but then Hiro whispered something to him, and Rap monster let it pass.

The next few hours were a bit boring. Surprisingly, the stylists didn’t stay in the room they went off the same time they finished with the guy, leaving you alone the whole time. All you really did was watch the guys perform from the small TV in the corner of the room. A few times here and there, a stylist would pop in, grab a few things, then walk right out. Other than that, it was just you and you enjoyed the alone time.

After the concert, the boys came back exhausted and drenched in sweat. By the time you all got into the van, they were a bunch of zombies.

In the van, all was quiet. Everyone had fallen asleep except for Rap monster. For most of the drive back, you could feel him staring at you through the rear-view mirror. You tried not to look, but you kept glancing up only to find him still staring at you. His face was illuminated by all the controls in front of him, giving him a more demonic look. “You know she’d dead now, right?” he asked, breaking the silence.

You knew better than to not answer him. “What?”. You could feel your heart race. He could have been talking about Eunhee, but for all you know he could have been talking about your mom or your best friend.

“Eunhee… She’s dead now.” his expression was blank. “One of my guys here was the one to pick her up after we left. Poor girl, she really thought she was going to the concert.” He smirked. He turned around to face you. His expression was gone again. “He drove her to an area about an hour outside of the city. He pulled her out of the van and beat her cuz she just wouldn’t stop crying.” He chuckled at his own words. “He forced her on her knees and shot her execution style.” He reenacted the shooting with his own hand. He brought the tips of his fingers to the spot in between his eyebrows and pulled the “trigger”. “Then he stripped her down, stuffed her in a barrel and filled it with acid. Her clothes and her papers were burnt. There is no more trace of her.”

“Wh-why are you t-telling me this?” you whimpered. You wanted to wiped away the tears on your face, but you were too scared to move.

“Just a nice bed time story… If you dare cross me, you’ll wish you died like that.”
