and since I am clearly very excited why not share my opinion about it!

Okay before I even start like I said before this concept is literally my favorite thing in the world. When they dropped the teasers this was my exact reaction no lie

- I love the photos its such a good concept in my opinion. I have always loved the whole “crime/bad boy” concept and seeing D&E do that concept makes my life complete. Now we just need to get all of SJ involved.

- From the pictures that they released I noticed that I seemed to like the black and white pictures better than the red ones. The red ones are still great but the black and white ones.....

At the beginning it was kind of hard to imagine them with tattoos but wow, I bet Donghae and Eunhyuk are gonna want to get tattoos because of this.

- He looks like a villain.

Eunhyuk

- He did not joke around with these tattoos. I loved the rose and the sword the most. 

- When I first took a glance at the sword I though it was a cross but turned out it was just a sword.

I really liked the hand tattoos he had as well and I feel like hand tattoos suit him.

Watch Out

- This is hands down my favorite song idc. I can listen to this song over and over again and I won’t ever get tired of it. 

- That small part where Eunhyuk and Donghae sing in a really high pitch “ your body” there is no amount of words that I can use to tell you how much I love and live for that part. That’s my favorite part of the song. 

- I can literally listen to that small part for hours and I’ll be okay.

- This song better not get slept on.

- There is no need to explain why this song is clearly so good.

- Also all of Eunhyuk’s rap parts are amazing omg.

Jungle

- This song gives me “Bout You” album vibes which is probably why I loved it since I loved “Bout You”

- Also Donghae’s high notes...damm

- I actually didn’t know this song had already been released the only difference being that this one is the Korean Version.

Dreamer

I’m not a huge fan of “slow” songs in general idk why but I’m just not. There are  a few exceptions since there are groups out there I love that make wonderful songs even if the song is “slow” I tend to love it. Ex. SJ - One More Chance, Stars Appear, Sechskies - Couple, Sad Song, The Rose - Like We Used To, She’s In The Rain etc...

but I liked Dreamer since the song let their voices shine and it showed us how truly talented they are.

I tried getting into this song but I couldn’t. It’s not bad but like I said before with Dreamer, Its not my “cup of tea” but hopefully there are fans out their who loved it.

They are annoying in general but this was on a whole other level. Like you don’t here me talking about how I’m married to Chanyeol and stuff like ugh lmao. The other guy is a senior so that was his excuse the whole entire time. “I’m a senior idc/idc at this point cause I’m a senior” random stuff like that. The guy that was “helping” me, I’ll give him a lil credit cause he was by my side helping me but...

Also the other thing that I found annoying was the fact that I would tell him to organize the stuff on the poster in whatever order he wanted to cause 1. It didn’t matter and 2. How it happened

I was adding a BTS song to my playlist cause I realized I didn’t have it for some reason (Not Today) and then under the song it recommend a B.A.P song. I got curious and was like why not. It was the song “1004″ and since ya girl poor I don’t have the premium version on Spotify so that meant I could only listen to 15-20 seconds of the song. This lead me to go onto youtube and listen to the song and it was SOOOO GOOOOODDD?!?!??!!

Let me tell you when I read that, my heart broke. What shocked me the most was the fact that I was so heart broken even though I only knew of them for 2 hours.

 I have been looking for a group like them for ages and now that I found them I find out they might not even continue as a group?!?!!

I listen to BigBang and I love groups like them who are “different” and B.A.P just hit the spot. 

I know right now it’s all “talk” since two members already left but I like to believe that they will continue as a group just under another label. Meaning that they will leave one by one and continue as a group under another label like what Highlight did. (Another group I love) 

I read up about what’s happened to them In relation to the label (TS) and boiii I have never hated a label so much. ⁽ʸᴳ ᶜˡᶦᵐᵇᶦⁿᵍ ᵘᵖ ᵗʰᵃᵗ ˡᶦˢᵗ ᵗʰᵒᵉ⁾ But I’m genuinely scared they won’t continue as a group anymore. Especially since I read somewhere that Yongguk joined the military (Sorry if that’s incorrect I’m not 100% sure)

But I have hope.

- Like I said at the beginning this is one of my favorite albums ever. I loved everything. The album, packaging, concept and songs.

- As a fan/E.L.F, this album meant a lot because I am a fellow Mexican-American and knowing that Super Junior one of my all time favorite groups collaborated with a Mexican group (REIK) it makes me feel heard. Especially with all the negativity going on around here in the U.S.A thanks to that orange cheeto.

- It makes me extremely happy to know that not just Mexican culture is spreading around the world but Latino and Korean culture are as well. It gives people a chance to see how I, we and everyone lives and it gets rid of those horrible stereotypes that exist in a way.

- I of course watched them when they went on Telehit and it made me scream when I found out the news. My parents enjoyed watching the interview where they went on Telehit before the actual concert started as did I of course. It’s just amazing to see how popular they are around the world.

- Also Leeteuk saying “Mamacita” to all E.L.F’s made me fall to the ground no joke.

- CAN WE PLEASE TALK ABOUT HOW AMAZING THEIR SPANISH IS?!?!?!?!? When they sang “Ahora Te Puedes Marchar”

- Their vocals and pronunciation was amazing no joke. They all sounded so fluent my mom literally asked “are we sure that he doesn’t have family that speak Spanish? Is he not half Latino/Hispanic himself?” (While pointing at Ryeowook) cause to her he sounded really REALLY fluent and I agree but in my opinion they all did. I know that they must’ve worked really hard to get their pronunciation right and I thank them for their hard work cause they did amazing.

- This was my first comeback with SJ-D&E and it was a fun experience. I was nervous cause I didn’t know if I was going to like the songs. But turns out I liked every single song. No joke, I can’t even choose a favorite because I love them all.

My Year With EXO

It has officially been a year since I started listening to EXO. It actually was around this time so why not talk about it?!

How It All Started

I was listening to my playlist on shuffle mode and after my playlist was done it played me a random song. It didn’t sound bad so I let it play and by the end of it I was googling who Exo was. 

Lotto was the first song from Exo that I listened to and it was on repeat for days. What sucked was that now I had a favorite song but I had no faces to put onto the beautiful voices that I was listening to.

This lead me to go onto YouTube and when I typed EXO into the search bar the first video that popped up was their “Monster” MV. It was too much beauty to handle. There should’ve been a warning sign that popped up before the video to tell me that I was about to see the most handsome men in the world lmao.

It was weird for me to see “older” idols because I had just recently gotten into kpop thanks to BTS. With BTS they are younger than EXO so me getting into Exo which were these “older” idols was weird but eventually I got used to it. 

(Especially since I eventually discovered the grandpas of Kpop which are Bigbang, Sechskies and SJ)

That of course failed because now I can tell them apart by just looking at their eyebrows.

- The first Exo MV that I watched was Monster so I knew there was 9 members but I was confused as to why in the KoKoBop MV Lay wasn’t in it. Of course the first thing that popped into my head was “Oh he must’ve left the group.” But then I found out that he was doing his own thing in China so that helped clear up the confusion.

- I didn’t know Exo originally had 12 members but that was cleared up pretty quickly after I figured out that 3 members had left the group.

- Fun Fact: I am 100% sure that if I had known about Exo when they were ot12, I am pretty sure Tao would’ve been my bias. He is underrated and if you haven't listened to his songs you should cause they are amazing.

- I was so lost with this. I knew Exo as Exo. I didn’t know who or what was Exo - K & Exo - M. I really did think they were two separate groups. (They kinda were but w.e) I went to google for help but nothing appeared. When I found out about Exo - L I thought that was another group but no, it was the fandom name lmao. Thankfully slowley everything started to make sense once I started finding out more and more about them.

I waited so long for a comeback. DMUMT was my first comeback with them and it didn’t disappoint. (Aside from the lack of promotions *Cough* SM *Cough*)

Its been amazing seeing them get known more and more around the world. It truly makes me feel happy like an old proud mom. They have been through so much as a group and as individuals that I’m glad that they are finally at the place they deserve to be in which is the top. Of course as Exo-L’s we gotta make sure that they climb even higher. I hope to see them grow more as a group and as artists in the future. We gotta break records and keep streaming their songs.

As for SM, they better treat them right and stop cutting their promotions. 

All in all its been an amazing year with Exo.

My Year With BTS

I will admit I am a little late with this post since I had my “one year anniversary” with bts in April since I started listening to them in April of 2017 but since the year is almost over why not post this?!

How it all started

It all started when I started looking for audios for video edits that I make on Instagram and came across an audio called “Not Today”. I liked the small clip that I heard so I went ahead and checked out the whole song. That’s when I noticed that it was by a group called BTS. 

I had known who BTS was because I had seen them on twitter but I never really paid much attention to them. Until I watched the “Not Today” MV. It was a very catchy song and it had beautiful guys along with awesome dancing. 

This of course caused me to go ahead and watch all their MV’s. Out of all their songs I got addicted to “War of Hormones.” That was my favorite song for the longest time and it was on 24/7. 

(Even though I hated it the first time I listened to it. No Joke)

Mr.JK was the one who caught my attention and my heart.

I don’t exactly know when or how Tae caught my attention but he did. I’m pretty sure he one day decided that he wanted me to start paying more attention to him and BOOM! 

It might’ve been when I watched the “Fire” MV but he just stole the whole show. I especially loved how kind and sweet he was personality wise. He was also goofy which never failed to make me smile and it didn’t help that in 0.5 seconds he could go from cute to hot. Till this day he still is my Bias.

First Album

My first bts album was the “Her” album and I managed to get all 4 versions which I will forever be thankful for. It was a weird, confusing and awesome experience. Especially since I didn’t know I could’ve gotten the album at a cheaper price. Since it was my first time ordering a Kpop album I ordered it from the official website and it wasn’t cheap.  I have learned my lesson and now I don’t really order from official websites anymore since they are pricey especially with the shipping.

Confusion

When I first got into the fandom there wasn’t much confusion for me. I was here mainly for the music but I got sucked into all the little inside jokes and memes. 

At first I didn’t quite understand the roles every member had 

- Namjoon = Dad

- Jin = Mom

But eventually I realized why they had that title and how it fitted so well with them.

There was a time period where I got Suga and Jhope mixed up. I thought Suga was Jhope and Jhope was Suga. Took me a while to get used to calling them with their correct names but now I can tell them apart, thankfully.

I am so happy and amazed with how far they have come and I am grateful to say that I started listening to them before they were “big” because that gave me time to see who they were, not as artist but as people. 

I’m not hating on you if you got into the fandom during the “Love Yourself Era” but for me I truly do feel like I wouldn’t have been able to join the fandom if I had started listening to them during that era. It would’ve been too much for me to handle. Especially since a lot of new things would’ve been thrown my way. 

I joined the fandom a little bit after the Not Today era (YNWA) and by that point the boys were getting noticed more and more but I managed to still see them before they were huge stars. I’ve enjoyed watching them rise and sell out concerts and pass records with the amount of albums they have sold. I hope to see more of that in the future. And of course I also want them to get a good amount of rest and to not stress themselves out.

We all know that Army’s have taken over the world but we have to remember that we are here to spread happiness and kindness not hate. With more and more Army’s joining the fandom the negativity has also grown. I’m not blaming the new Army’s for this because immature Army’s can be found during different time periods of the boys career. Starting fanwars and hating on other groups is childish and it needs to stop.

 It makes me happy to see that our positivity is beating out the negativity and that’s all that matters.
