a/n. yesss i love kenma, many thoughts on him!! he’s my favorite!!! didn’t add suna because i don’t really know his character that well :( added a kenma bonus to make up for it tho!

KENMA

☆ i think he’d be a sleepy drunk. he's out as soon as his head hits any soft surface��� maybe even before! i feel like he also acts grumpier, mumbling complaints when you wake him up and try to move him (he was passed out on your shoulder in the car, you have to get him to bed!)

☆ his face gets kinda pink, like he’s blushing. he’s pale, so it’s more noticeable than it would be on someone else. his eyes get droopy and his face sort of relaxes, so he looks mean and tired.

☆ he stubbles slightly, but he surprisingly manages to maneuver himself pretty well for a drunk person. just don’t ask him to do a cartwheel or anything… he couldn’t even do one of those while sober.

☆ he doesn’t drink often, so he’s a light weight… plus he’s skinny and on the smaller side, so he doesn’t have to drink much to get a buzz. he’s usually responsible though, but sometimes he celebrates too hard (with a bit of a push from kuroo)

☆ he doesn’t get any more talkative, but he’s less filtered that normal. i don’t think he’d be too flirty or mean, but if he got drunk enough he may compliment you a couple times.

BONUS:

☆ the type to get so drunk he forgets who you are. you come find him to pick him up after someone called you, and he’s face down on the table. you nudge him, trying to gently guide him to stand, but he’s immediately swatting you away, grumbling about how he has a girlfriend.

"leave m' alone— got a girlfriend already," he slurs, raising his head to drunkenly glare at you. his eyes narrow further when you laugh.

"kenma… i’m you’re girlfriend," you tell him, always finding it a bit amusing when he gets this drunk. he’s not too much of a hassle though, since he usually knocks right out when you get home and tuck him in.

he's silent for a moment, just staring at you up and down. he wears the same expression he has whenever he buys a new video game, excited and in awe.

"really…?" he asks, a hopeful tone in his voice. now that he’s looking at you… you are really pretty. he really hopes you're his girlfriend.

"yes, really. i’m gonna take you home, okay? cmon," you urge, gently grabbing his arm and helping him stand. he complies this time, his eyebrows raising.

"we live together?" he questions, the situation just getting better and better to him.

"we do," you confirm, another giggle leaving you. it doesn’t really hurt your feelings that he doesn’t remember, you find it more amusing and entertaining than anything.

"… im so lucky," you hear him whisper under his breath, looking at you as you guide him to the car.

KUROO

☆ he'd be a funny drunk i think… a bit of a handful, and is entertaining at first, but eventually gets annoying. his emotions kind of double when he’s intoxicated, and he’s also kind of erratic. really energetic after his first few drinks, but if he’s extra drunk, he’s more emotional.

☆ his eyes get a little watery, but that’s about it. he actually looks more lively while he’s drunk, because he makes more facial expressions.

☆ he can’t stand straight at all, especially if he’s had more than a couple drinks. needs support to walk, otherwise he'll fall. he’s heavy though, and puts majority of his weight on you, so sometimes you end up falling anyway.

☆ he can handle his alcohol pretty well. takes him a few drinks to get a buzz, but he doesn’t usually stop there. mostly drinks to celebrate things, or at parties. never drinks alone, that’s just boring and sad to him.

☆ probably asks you random stupid questions like "what number am i?" or "what animal would i be?" (follows up that second question with "would you still love me if i was that animal?")

☆ i think he’s more talkative, but he speaks faster and his words are kinda jumbled, so it’s hard to understand him sometimes. he gets a lot more sappy, constantly complimenting you and telling you that he loves you (he does that all the time already)

TSUKISHIMA

☆ not that much different than when he’s sober, honestly. he gets more mellow, surprisingly, though it might be because alcohol makes him a little sleepy, similar to kenma. he isn’t quick to fall asleep, but he’s not energetic and jumping around.

☆ his face is more relaxed, which makes him look even more intimidating and mean. his eyes get a little red around the edges, but that’s mostly it.

☆ stubbles quite a bit and holds things for support. if you try to help him, he’ll snip and you and complain that he doesn’t need your help to walk. (he does, and eventually gives in and leans on you a bit when he almost falls on his face)

☆ also a lightweight. doesn’t go drinking unless he’s invited, and even then he’s usually the designated driver. on top of that, he hates being hung over, and he hates throwing up, so he rarely gets super drunk. kuroo tries to persuade him sometimes, but the most he gets his a little tipsy.

☆ probably gets into debates with people about certain topics that he likes, arguing with them about facts and opinions. he usually wins. even when he’s drunk, he’s still quick witted.

☆ he fights you on everything, insisting he’s fine and "not drunk" whenever you try to help him. you end up ignoring his complaints and just assist him with changing and getting into bed anyway. he’s asleep pretty quickly, especially if you run his back/scalp.

intak bursted out laughing at a joke one of his friends cracked and with a corner of his eye he saw your bland reaction. it was a sign you’re out of your social battery; well, you started feeling exhausted earlier - you became non verbal a while ago and started fiddling with your purse.

one look it took for you two to communicate that you’re tired. you opened your lips to announce it but intak grabbed your hand under the table and let out a sudden, loud gasp that even startled you.

“ah, i forgot i have practice tomorrow. shit, we moved it and it totally slipped my mind… the joke about horse just reminded me… you know, keeho… well, whatever. we’ll keep going, im so so sorry!” he said normally, rubbing your skin and sending his friends an apologetic smile “let’s do this again soon, guys! i had so much fun! let me know when you get home, okay?”

they were not too happy about it but let you go, minutes later you two sitting in a cab.

“you’re crazy” you grunted and pressed a kiss onto his cheek. seeing you a bit more relaxed now was worth it.

“i was getting tired too, either way.”

would definitely get into twitter discourse over the most random topics. the man has strong opinions and will express them in whatever means necessary, even if that's arguing with a random on twitter.

sylus would find some odd type of joy in doing taxes, especially your taxes. he would stay up day and night crunching the numbers and going over the forms multiple times. hes just weird like that.

he would sing along to a musical with no shame, and YES he knows every word are you kidding? it's even worse if you are watching one with him because he will assign characters to everyone and force everyone to act out the parts.

listens to multiple genres of music and has hundreds of playlists for every mood. yall can debate on whether hes a spotify or apple kinda guy.

Zayne:

he likes using a nightlight to sleep and hatesss if there's not a fan going in the room at night. no i will not elaborate further.

not lore accurate obv but he gives oldest son energy- even better if he's the oldest child overall. the smooth sarcasm and protectiveness of the ppl he loves?!?!? screams oldest child behavior.

he's the type to leave a social interaction and rethink/regret everything they said and did to the point of no return. this shit would keep him up at night. even social interactions years ago haunts him.

he'll never let himself drink energy drinks (doctor behavior), not only bc he knows the bad side effects but you genuinely do not want to see him hyped up on caffeine.

adversely to sylus, rafayel would get canceled on twt so fast. i imagine him beefing with sylus in a long thread and as a result of some outlandish opinion rafayel would get canceled. can't blame him, he's sassy asf and no one can stop him.

he has one playlist full of his liked songs and just hits shuffle whenever he wants to listen to music (freak behavior in my opinion)

if anyone criticizes his artwork he will intensely plot their demise in his head instead of hearing them out. this queen has an ego what can i say.

seems like the type to have had an "emo" phase in their preteens and would exclusively listen to top or paramore.

Xavier:

xavier has an insane long term memory but an awful short term memory. yes he can tell u what happened on a certain day three years ago but don't even think about asking him what he had for breakfast (he probably wasn't awake early enough for it anyway)

unlike zayne, you'd have to pry energy drinks out of xavier's hands. he cannot get enough. he's so sleepy all the time he pretty much can't function without some sort of regular caffeine intake.

xavier believed in santa probably way longer than any of his peers to the point where it was a little concerning. he's just full of holiday spirit.

i can see him not liking being alone for too long because even though he seems sleepy and quiet he really likes to yap ur ear off. at the end of the day he really loves company- even if its just the two of you sitting in comfortable silence.

maya's an extrovert who's very confident and she makes a great leader! she's loves talking to people and is always up and running about. shes very caring towards others and isn't afraid to show it (most of the time...) shes very sharp and witty, though her downfall is that she can get REALLY competitive. its ok she has rizz...

she loooves science, particularly biology (though she loves potionology and alchemy too). she likes to hang out in the botanical gardens a lot because she likes nature! she can rattle off a bunch of animal facts off the top of her head. sometimes when shes talking to other beastmen or mermen she'll complete a sentence and they're just like "...why do you know that." in addition to that she is very athletic and plays spelldrive like her dad! sometimes when shes stressed she'll run a mile and then go back to whatever she was doing HAHA. she also sings sometimes except shes super shy about it n' doesn't like doing it in front of anyone

now, remember when i said she's not afraid to show how much she cares for others most of the time? when this girl REALLY falls in love she becomes the most cringefail girlloser EVEERRR. shes like a textbook tsundere!!!! shes stuttering and fumbling and lord help her..... luckily for her she takes a while to fall for someone genuinely. she prefers to show her love through physical affection, gifts, and quality time.

moving onto obuya!

obuya's an introvert! he was shyer as a kid, but he's more confident in himself now. he's chill and very lax! kind of like a sleepy kitty... i just know this mf is singlehandedly perpetuating cat beastman stereotypes. he's super sleepy all the time, constantly taking naps, he probably drinks a warm glass of milk b4 he goes to bed 😭. he's basically a gentle giant! though his strength is definitely not to be underestimated. he's competitive as well, just not as much as his sister. he can get a little wild when he's excited though, DJAOSDAS.

he's very much a history nerd. u ask him how often he thinks of the roman empire and his answer is just "Yes." hes a language arts nerd too!!!! ! he loves to read..... also, he has a guilty pleasure for romance HAHADUJISAOK. he has a big stash of romance novels in his room!! he likes most arts in general, going from movies, fashion, and visual art, which he does! he paints and does digital occasionally; a friend dragged him into fandom and now he cant escape... on the outside he looks like this cool suave chill guy but hes really just. a nerd. he has his hair pushed back with a dumb headband and his glasses on and hes laying down on his stomach kicking his feet while reading MASODSAJMKALSM. he also has a big soft spot for animals! as for when he's in love, there isnt a big noticable difference from the outside. he's already a very affectionate person, so nothing may seem out of place... until you find him writing his crush's name with his surname in a little notebook aDJSIADJOAKND. obuya, like his mother, loves love, and WILL be thinking about his crush AALLLLL the time. he shows his love through physical affection, quality time, and acts of service.

maya and obuya are very close!! they prefer to stick by each other's side and have mostly the same friends. i think actually they got invitations to both nrc AND rsa; both chose nrc together. additionally, they both cook with eachother and just do daily chores and vibe at ramshackle; someones gotta maintain it after all!! they both enjoy not really having to think abt stuff, which is why they don't just do it with magic.

Ok so this is a drabble i made in maths instead of listening so if u have any criticism do let me know🙏

It was the tender moments with Mikey that seemed almost to not be real.

Late afternoon, right before sunset at the roof of a building. The sky looks like a painting of light and clouds. The windows of the buidlings reflecting the blinding sunrays. Light cool breeze moves through the city. And theyre you two are - like the only people in existence.

And he looks like an angel.

The wind is blowing trough his silky hair, moving it in the shape of sea waves. It moves like a halo, framing his ethereal face. His eyes seem even more radiant. The usually cool steel blue shines with warm, brilliant starry spark.

The toman jacket draped over his shoulders moves in the wind along with his hair, looking like a pair of wings behind him. It seems almost weightless, like it only carries the memories sewed on it. The clouds moving behind him only adding to the illusion.

The setting sun colors the sky in a soft, blazing flame right behind him. It bathes him in a liquid golden glow, shining trough his hair and sculpting his delicate silhouette.

And there you are - staring at him in a trance, almost with mouth gaping like a fish.

He looks and you and open his mouth to say something. Whatever he says goes through your head, too focused on the sound of his voice rather than the words - soft and soothing, like that of a dove.

And he repeats himself. This time you actually feel a bit awkward - there he is trying to talk to you and youre just staring at him stupidly.

He's caught on, though. He's chuckling to himself about something.

"Are you gonna answer me or you just wanna stare at me?"

Ah.

"What,, what did you ask again?"

Hes giggling even more now.

"What do you want to grab for dinner?"

Its about midnight, every soul in the Sano house is asleep. Expect you.

Both still awake, even if barely. Some random playlist quietly sings is the background, the sound filling the room gently.

Trough the window the street is empty, street lights illuminating the sleepy houses. The sky is full of stars even if you can only see a few in the city. The moon is glowing full and the light is cast on Mikey.

In the pale moonlight he looks peaceful. His hair reflecting like pearlescent threads, forming spirals and swirls. It light falling on his soft face, bringing out a soft pink from his pale face. It makes him glow like he is a star himself.

His faint breathing, the low light and the smell of freshly washed fabric and him put you to sleep.

It was the tender moments like this that ground you back on the ground when it seems to be dissapearing under your feet.

A/N: it's 11 in the evening here and i wrote this in, like, 20 minutes for all of u who were wishing for shua's shiny star, or you who have trouble sleeping. I hope this very small gift means something to any of you🩶 this is definitely not proofread bc im falling asleep now lol good night

You turn on your bed. Once. And then twice.

And then once again.

You bite your lip as you try to listen to Shua's soft breathing just in case he awakes because of your constant shifting.

He is already asleep the moment you return home, and you quietly wash up and join him on the bed because the day has been long and you honestly just want it to end already.

It would be better if you could be in Shua's arms right now, but at least he's next to you and you're just glad at least one of you is sleeping properly.

He seems like he needs it anyway; God knows he's even busier than you are.

When you're sure Shua is still deep in his sleep, you turn once again, this time to face him.

You don't think you'd ever get tired of watching his face, asleep or awake. He's so beautiful either way, but asleep, Shua looks so peaceful and whatever weight that would burden him when he's awake can't bother him in this state.

For that, you're more than grateful.

Shua is the more emotional and sensitive one between the two of you, and it's definitely not something that you complain about. But it means he seems to understand you more than you do him so sometimes you feel useless when you know he's not feeling his best.

He's been a little too busy these days, which worries you, but there's nothing you can really do about it. Hence, you're simply glad that at least he's sleeping properly.

Unlike you.

You're tired, your eyes are heavy, and you're sleepy, but your body refuses to succumb to sleep for some reason. You don't know what's stopping you from sleeping.

So you do what brings you comfort: watch your lover sleep. Your palm reaches out to his face, and when your thumb caresses the apple of his cheek, Shua leans to your touch even in his sleep.

You spend a few moment just like that. Time always seems like an illusion when you're with him, because you don't know how much time has passed until Shua slowly opens his eyes and immediately stares into your eyes.

"Why are you awake?" He asks, voice heavy with sleep.

You offer nothing but a hum, your fingers moving from his face into his hair.

"Can't sleep again?" Even half asleep, Shua can tell the smile you give him is defeated. So he reaches out to pull you into his chest instead, the position uncomfortable but not unwelcome. "Let's stay like this for a bit, hm?"

It's hard to hold him back in this position, so you decide to bask in his hold and the sound of his heartbeat instead. You think you feel his lips on top of your head, and Shua starts humming the familiar melody that always bring you comfort, his palm rubs your back in a slow pattern.

Up and down.

Up and down.

Up and... down.

He chuckles when he hears your soft snore, looking down at your sleeping figure before maneuvering you both into a more comfortable position.

A few minutes later, he falls back to sleep with his fingers buried in your hair and the soft pattern of your breath.

you let out a small whine before lolling your head back down and plopping it on arthur’s broad shoulder. you wouldn’t be bothered to do chores today, maybe you’d ask dutch to send you on a job later today. if he was feeling generous enough to let you get a word in, that is.

a gravelly rumble shook you out of your thoughts though as you looked up to see arthur chuckling. a hand came up to smooth his hair back as his eyes fluttered open. you took in all of his features in that second ( as per usual ) — every blemish, every scar, every pore, even that little spot on his chin that the hair wouldn’t grow just as right whenever he had cleaned up and shaved. he was him, and that’s all you could’ve asked for.

his eyes blinked open while his hand came up to rest upon your lower back, his thumb rubbing small circles on the exposed skin that peeked out from under your undergarments. arthur’s lips split into a small smile as you quirked a brow. “what’re you laughing at?” you asked, even giving a meager huff as his laughter started to get to you, too.

he shook his head amusedly and waved a hand dismissively as he looked up at you, atop his chest as you bobbed with his unsteady breaths. once he had finally done snickering to himself, he looked back down at you with a content smile. “nothin’,” he mumbled, his voice thick with sleep. “someone must’ve gotten a good night’s rest ‘s all ‘m sayin’.”

you groaned, your eyes scrunching shut as your hand came up to feel your hair, the tangles in your strands sticking out every which way. you leaned over to arthur’s nightstand ( or more so a barrel ), ignoring the wheeze he let out when your elbow dug into his ribs a little too hard as you reached for the small mirror he used when he shaved.

you blinked once, then twice and adjusted to the light before tilting the glass down and examining yourself. you sighed while you confirmed that your hair was, indeed, messy — and that caused another chuckle to erupt from arthur, his chest shaking. you smacked his shoulder to which he laughed even harder.

“yeah, yeah. laugh it up.” you muttered. you placed the mirror back down as you made sure to intentionally dig your arm into arthur’s chest in the process. “‘m just saying.” he said.

by now, you’re sure charles and bill had to at least have stirred in their sleep as their tent was parallel to yours, only a few feet away from you. someone must’ve heard you, you thought. but it didn’t really matter. moments like these were rare — sweet, domestic moments where you didn’t feel like fearing that the next moment you could be shot or arrested simply from trying to ride into town.

and your previous suspicions were right as you heard soft footsteps on the grass behind you, quick ones at that. arthur gestured his head upwards to signal that someone was behind you, only for you to crane your head to look at ms. grimshaw.

she quirked a brow at your position before her voice broke the peaceful banter of the morning. arthur didn’t pay much mind, scratching at his beard while he looked at you glaring at the woman while you gave sleepy responses, making sure to exaggerate the fact that you ‘just woke up’. his brain only managed to chime in on your guys’ conversation once ms. grimshaw had said, “i suggest you start with your chores for the day. we could certainly use the help ‘round here — that goes for you too, mister morgan.”

he gave a low hum in affirmation as you both watched her walk away. you pouted as he looked back at you, giving you a gaze that you knew all too well. unfortunately, this mundane moment had to come to a halt and needed to be set for another day.

“you heard ‘er,” arthur said. he lightly smacked your thigh, bordering on the soft plump of your ass before you felt him shift under you. “up you go.”

I had a really, really rough day today. Work was so busy, I was working a 12 hour shift at the hospital I work out. I'm a nurse so I deal with so much ever day.

Me and Bill have been dating for 9 months and he knows I don't really show affection and that I'm not used to recieving love, in past relationships I was severley neglected and used and it scared me, driving me away from any affection at all.

But tonight was different, after being yelled at, puked on, peed on and slapped 2 times I just needed his touch, I yearned for his arms around me, stroking my hair and kissing me.

We did show some affection of course but it was mainly him.

I whined and looked up at him, "can we cuddle..please.." his eyes widened and his head snapped towards me, "oh..uh..of course baby let's go to bed first" he held my hand, leading me to the bedroom and helping me change into comfier clothes, his actions quick so I wouldn't change my mind.
