birthday boy // j. arana
entry #07
summary: justin has plans for his birthday
justin’s birthday was a big deal to eve. she knew he treated birthdays with joy, so she was glad they were on the same page…in a way. she just did not know what to get him.
they had gotten together march 15 and his birthday was just 6 days after. she did not think too much about what to give because a scenario in her head was that when she would answer justin, he would have been bored with her already. obviously that was not the case.
“i don’t know what to get you,” she finally admitted. she sat down beside him on the couch and hugged his waist. “i’ll get you anything you want tomorrow.”
he chuckled. “well i got us something.”
she looked up. “you got us something? you got something for us on your birthday?”
“that’s right.”
“my munchkin, that’s not how it works.”
“well, my penguin, that’s how i want to celebrate my birthday, so that’s what we’re going to do.” he smiled. “so tomorrow, we are going to have an early start.”
“yeah? like what time?”
“i’ll pick you up at eight.” then he paused. “and then i’ll bring you home by eleven.”
“that’s a really long day, but we haven’t asked my parents.”
“oh i already did, earlier when i arrived and you were still upstairs,” he said. “they said yes.”
“they did? i’m honestly surprised.”
“i may have…well, not exactly lied. depends on where the night takes us.”
eve’s eyes widened. “justin….”
“i’m not forcing anything,” he said immediately. “just…whatever happens, happens.”
“are you going to seduce me?” she asked, a smirk tugging on her lips.
“are you seduce-able?”
“very much so, actually.” she laughed.
the next day arrived and justin picked her up at exactly eight o’clock on the dot. it was a tuesday and there was nothing important for her to do nor did he have any practice.
“let’s go?” he brought up her hand and kissed the back of it. she nodded.
he brought them to a restaurant that just screamed “pancakes, waffles, and eggs”. “sunny side up” was the name of the restaurant, and she giggled at how corny it was.
after breakfast was the arcade. she, of course, lost in every game except the trivia challenges.
as they walked along the mall, there were people who noticed the basketball player and some even asked for photos with him.
“sorry about the people,” he said. he wrapped an arm around her shoulders. “i’ll make it up to you.”
“you don’t have to,” she replied. “it’s not your fault your a basketball star.” she smiled.
he sighed.
they had late, light lunch at wendy’s. right after that was the bookstore where eve just went wild.
“it’s your birthday and you’re giving me gifts?”
“it’s how i want to spend my day,” he told her with a shrug. “come on, i’m the birthday boy.”
eve scoffed. “a very weird birthday boy.” this made him laugh.
once they left the bookstore, justin suddenly became tense. “well, that’s done.”
eve noticed after a few minutes when his responses were very curt. “are you okay?”
“i’m fine, yeah. i’m fine.”
“you most obviously are not.”
“we have one more stop before dinner,” is all he said.
curious as to where it was, eve simply followed.
when they stopped in front of a condominium, eve could feel her heart racing. justin cleared his throat. “are you…um…this is the condo i got for myself, the one i told you about.”
“the one where you go to think.”
“yeah, and it’s going to be the first time i’ll be staying in it for the night and well…i…i just…well. well.”
eve bit her bottom lip. “it looks like a good place. it’s near greenbelt. right next to it, actually.”
“everything near greenbelt is a good place,” he said.
“that’s true,” eve said with a chuckle. “but it looks nice from here.”
“do you…wanna go in?”
she nodded.
justin took her hand and they entered. the staff greeted them with happy faces. one receptionist seemed too nice so eve tightened her grip on his hand. justin did not seem to notice why but he quickly kissed the top of her head.
the elevator ride was quiet. both watched the indicator go up higher and higher. they reached the 15th floor and he led her to room 1503.
as soon as they went in, eve gasped. “omg, this is such a cool place!”
“it isn’t much but it’s something,” he responded. he placed the bag of books on a nearby table and then closed and locked the door. “it’s got a great view of the sunset though.”
eve turned to him and smiled. “this is really nice, justin.”
he smiled back. he walked towards her, cupped her cheek with one hand and said “thank you” before leaning down to kiss her.
they stayed there for a while before he let go. “the sun’s almost setting, wanna watch?”
eve nodded and he led her to the balcony.
there were two seats and a small, glass table. eve sat down one on chair while justin went to get drinks. he returned just in time for the sun to start setting.
“cheers.” they raised their glasses and clink-ed it together before taking a sip.
they were quiet as they watched, fingers intertwined.
“happiest birthday, justin,” eve whispered once the sun had completely set.
justin smiled. “thank you.”
it was getting chilly so justin suggested they go back inside. once in, he set the bottle of wine on the living room coffee table before closing and locking the balcony door.
“so what did you have planned for dinner?” eve asked as she scanned the place.
“mary grace,” he replied.
she smiled. “that’s nice. but to be honest…i kinda don’t want to leave.” her heart rate went up. “i mean, if it’s okay with you. it’s your day, birthday boy.”
justin smiled. “i was hoping the same thing.”
eve let out a sigh of relief. “oh, okay, good.”
justin chuckled. “why?”
eve looked away. “i just want to be with you, just the two of us. i don’t want to…share you, with anyone else right now.”
justin took a few steps forward, stopping himself just a foot away from her. “i don’t want to share you with anyone else right now either. i just want you and me…just you and me right now.”
eve closed the remaining distance between them. she touched his cheek with her fingers. “i love you so much.”
“i love you, too.” then he bent down and kissed her.
“happy birthday.”

La Squadra Esecuzione as Best Friends Headcanons
Formaggio - Very chill, first and foremost, he is down for anything to do. Videogames? He'll try to beat your ass. Cat cafes? Heck ye he is down - The type of friend who will coax you to cut class to hang out behind the school or climb over the school fence to hang around the local arcade or theatre. But if he get caught, he won't snitch and he's willing to take responsibility. Begrudgingly. - Ohhhh physical touch is bare minimum for him. He'll occasionally lean on you, perhaps shrink himself to fit himself in your pocket just to platonically cuddle and perhaps, use you as a transport. - Will high five you as a greeting, and will high five you as a farewell. Usually followed by a hug too uwu "Bro!" He holds his hand out for a high five, in which you instinctively grant him one, when he also entwines his fingers through yours and pulling you for a hug, patting your back for a second and pulling away. "I missed you bro!" - Prepare for dumb jokes, dumb puns that he effortlessly come up with as time goes by. You can't go on a day without him cracking a joke. You'd either roll your eyes at it or laugh along with him. There's nothing in between "You see that guy over there, bro?" He leans on you, arm draped around your shoulder as he points at a person from afar. "Yeah, what?" "I say... You'd be a perfect match." You glanced at him, hearing him shake a box of matches as he wiggled his eyebrows with a dumb grin. - *Finger guns and bro intensifies* Illuso - That weird person you don't see yourself associating yourself with somehow befriended him for some reason. Most likely started when you both started to wake up at 3 AM and meet in the middle of the dark, in the kitchen, wanting to grab something to eat. At first it is awkward, but soon you learned to bond through it! And soon enough, your midnight chats extended to become actual friendships! - Seems distant, but he cares. He's the type pretend not to care about you, but will glare (or more than glare depending at the severity) at people who hurt you. He is the 'I'm the only one allowed to insult them like that' type of friend. "Huh, Formaggio hasn't been teasing me. I wonder what happened." You wondered aloud, as you say beside your friend Illuso. "Must be because of his bruised jaw. The previous mission must've been tough for him." "Yeah... That..." - Probs touched-starved. He acts irritated and push you away when you try to hug him, but secretly loves it. If you stop trying to hug him, he'd be kinda sad but will not say anything. - This friendship includes you listening to him rant about every little thing, and brag about things he can't do. He appreciates you listening to be honest, and that's initially how your friendships started anyways. - Will use derogatory terms as a term of endearment. Please don't be offended, he doesn't mean any offense "Hey idiot! Get your sorry ass right here! Risotto said we have someone to take care of!" "Thanks, dumbass." "Eyo slut! Take a look at this fugly idiot!" - Does not have the habit of knocking. In fact, he just barges into your room, through the mirror. In more than one occasion has he seen you undressed but he couldn't care less about it. "Hey dumbass can I borrow your— hey, stop screaming! Anyways I ran out of hair ties, do me a solid—" - Everyone around you being confused to how you two are most unlikely to become friends, but you two are practically unlikely twins Prosciutto - You can not stop me from assuming he is quite the mom friend if you pry his shell hard enough. Perhaps a mom friend mixed with tsundere friend. "Hey! Drink your water or I'll break your ankles! No I don't care that we're in the middle of killing someone! I packed you some water and you didn't drink it! Well shit I didn't pack it specifically for you, I just managed to pack extra! Now go ahead and drink, I'll handle this one myself! While you're at it, coat yourself with sunscreen! If I hear you whining about being burnt, I swear to God—" - If you happen to be a mom friend too, you'd be bonding over the
mutual stress of having to look over the rest of the gang over a glass of wine as chaos around you ensues because you two decided to take a small break. "Formaggio and Ghiaccio is up at it again..." You sigh, swirling the content of your stemware as the distant bickering of the two aforementioned assassins echoed. "Just... Let's just lay low. It'll be over soon." Prosciutto sighs along as well, before downing his glass of whiskey. "Hopefully." And it didn't end, as it ensued and progressive got worse. Stands were called, knives were thrown, guns were shot. And two mom friends of La Squadra almost lost their voice from all the yelling and lecturing - Will scold you for your bad habits. Bad posture? He will walk behind you, press his knee on your back and roll your shoulders back whilst he lectures you about it. Messy time management? Will buy you crap to make you keep track of time. Sleeping so late? He will take whatever you're distracted with, demand you to turn your lights off as he lights soothing scented candles and tossing you some comfortable blankets to use. Barely taking care of yourself? Bro prepare yourself. "I don't understand how you live like this! You'd be dead if you were to continue that habit! At least help me help you to make you be better!" - Very blunt and honest to the point it stings, but he never lies to people he is closed to. He prefers being upfront with his loved ones and will try to rebuild their confidence and reassure them that they can be better than what they are. "When I say you're idiotic, you're but a burden, I mean it. You have all rights to be hurt by it, but don't just live with it. Prove me wrong, that you can be better than that and you'll be the best version of yourself. I know you can do it." - Will accept hugs, but will most likely not hug back. Maybe he'll just out one hand on your back and lightly stroke it, but that's it. But in rare occasions, he will return them too. Sometimes, he'll even initiate it. - Your connection to him as a friend has lead several advantages. No one in general can make a negative comment about you with Prosciutto around. His glare alone was scary and they would not wish to stick around and find out what he can do than just glaring. - Extremely appreciates when you help him around by simply carrying things for him, fetching him coffee and actually doing your damn job properly is enough to make him be filled with gratitude. Pesci - Baby. Okay, so this boy. Boy oh boy, he is baby. Take care of him, bro. Don't coddle him to the point of him being entirely dependent on you, but sis you can always reassure and make him improve himself! Perhaps a tamer version of his relationship with his brother. - You two will mostly likely be friends because you always defend him from the others from teasing him and rooting for him. He is very grateful for it and can't thank you enough. Either that, or Prosciutto paid you to babysit him. - Will constantly cling on your arm when he's anxious. It's up to you whether you'll snap at him and slap his hand away, or just let him hang around you. He'll just simply grab your wrist, and sooner and later he'd have his body pressed against yours, completely clinging on the entirety of your arm. "D-don't leave me, Y/N! I'm scared—!" - He is extremely thankful for you watching over him and protecting and by this, he tries to improve himself a lot more just so he can confidently say he can watch over you and protect you as well - Just the sweetest little thing, whenever he'd be away with Prosciutto for a mission he'd return home bearing gifts from travel and he'd give it to you. It would be something either miniature, or something practical like a knife sharpener or something. "I-I got this for you... I hope you like it! Big bro helped me pick!" - Honestly, I can imagine him just being the best, supportive and encouraging friend there could be. If ever you needed someone to confide in, he'd just sit and listen and will certainly not repeat what you told him to others. He'll try his best to comfort
you, taking inspiration to how you comfort him and will just try his best to make you feel better. "I know life is rough and hard and bad, but you always told me it will change and soon it all be over and better. It's good that you recognise you're in a bad place, now you need to take a break and then later you won't even know you've already forgotten your problem! It's okay to be sad, too, but not for too long." - The type of friend that will share anything he has. He has a cookie with him? Shit, he'll split it in half and give the other half to you. Some soda? Well I hope you don't mind drinking from the same can as he is, he will give it to you. Melone - So this nerd isn't a complete creepy pervert, not entirely at all. He's chill for most of the time, so he's a neat company if you don't mind him bombarding you with questions regarding your genetics, heritage records, blood type, zodiac signs and whatnot. But knows when to stop. - You most likely befriended him because he is one of the chill people in the group... Somewhat. Or perhaps you just started to bond over mutual love for steamy, erotic novels from the same author. If this man has shame, his guilty pleasures would be reading these types of trashy novels filled with smut. - He is great as a wingman. Complain to him about your lack of a love life, he'll observe your types and he'll somehow come up with a list by the next day enthusiastically listing them to you in a PowerPoint presentation. "If you're into girls, I have this one right here! She's compatible with your zodiac sign, although she has quite the temper she can be extremely passionate and affectionate— or perhaps you're into men, that I have as well. Several, actually. This other fellow right here is also a part of Passione from the Human trafficking branch, stoic and quite a stern one, but knows when to lay low at times and appreciate those around him— either him or the girl, you'd make good babies together!" "Melone, what the fuck—" - Very touchy. He'd lean his head on your lap as you both read on the couch, or randomly put his head on your shoulder during meetings, grab you by the arm while crossing the road, smacking your ass as a greeting (if you tell him stop, he'd stop of course), will pretend to kiss you just so he can see your reaction, anything. He is one affectionate nut that he sometimes forget about personal spaces. If you're not particularly fond of being touched like I am, simply tell him nope. I mean, he'd be sad but will respect your boundaries. The only time he'll actually respect established boundaries, to be honest. - Knows the most random facts and will share them to you for the fun of it. Additional to that, he will also mutter his shower thoughts and random cursed facts out loud just so he can curse you with the knowledge and confusion. "Did you know that dolphins masturbate using dead fishes? Also, there was an experiment involving dolphins in which one of the scientist fell in love and had sex with it. Another fact, is that dolphins are also seen doing the deed—" "Okay, Melone, I get it! Dolphins aren't as innocent as they seem! Stop ruining it for me already!" ... "Did you know that a woman once used mayonnaise as a lubri—" "MELONE!" - Being his friends meaning being his impulse control. If he intends to use his Stand on some innocent passerby just for the heck of it (for science, as he claims), smack him by the wrist and glare at him. If he eyes a particular someone for too long that the person gets too uncomfortable, try to divert his attention away. "Ow! Y/N what the heck—!" "What did I told you about oogling at people? It's impolite and creepy, stop that!" - He may not seem like it, but bro he cares a lot. If ever you had a problem, he'd sit and listen, offer you his shoulder to cry on, and perhaps hang out to divert your attention away from what's bothering and hurting you. And if you need advice, he'll try his best to come up with a flawless solution to your problems. But if comfort is what you need, his arms are open baby. Ghiaccio
- Bro you must need emergency ear plugs for this one, he is a massive screamer, a ticking time bomb with no timer that will erupt at random. If ear plugs aren't enough, cover your ears. - Befriending him was an impulse control befriending him. Well, all you did was to constantly try to calm his tits and cool his head to the point he actually barges in your room to hang out so that he can cool his head from all of the shenanigans occuring all around him, or maybe he just had another thought about something maddening about the world. "WELL WHY?! WHY IS WOMEN'S CLOTHES SIZING CHART DIFFER FROM EACH STORE?! THAT DOESN'T EVEN MAKE SENSE! INCHES AND CENTIMETRES EXISTS FOR A REASON, DAMNIT!" - There are moments where he isn't screaming, thankfully and he's a decent person to talk to. If you're a listener, he'll do the talking, just ranting about things, rambling on and on, before complaining, and then another outbursts comes out. By this, you simply sigh, put a hand on his shoulder and talk to him in a gentle, calming voice. It usually does the trick. Formaggio and Melone joked about this talent of yours as witchcraft. - He appreciates you a lot and honestly doesn't know what to do without you and by that, he knows he has to reciprocate the care you give him somehow to show he is grateful of your friendship and care. He isn't the type to be physically affectionate, but he is extremely thoughtful about his closed loved onesa and prefers to be practical about it. He would save you your seat in meetings, fetch you snacks if he ran out for an errand, etc etc. Extremely observant of your mannerisms, that he might point that out to you and you won't even realise you do that. - So like, he is very protective as a friend. He will do something whenever someone has wronged you in any way. The others teasing you? Bam, he'll shoot them back with a witty insult. Your s/o cheated on you? Ohohoho boi, be prepared to see their name on a headline on the daily news. Your order was wrong? Bam, he'll have the waiter shaking in fear from a screaming, angry Italian mafioso as he demands for them to remake your order correctly. "WELL CAGACAZZO?! QUIT STANDING AROUND AND GET ORDERS CORRECTLY—" "G-Ghiaccio it's just a minor thing, let it go—" "THEY SERVED YOU AN INGREDIENT YOU SPECIFICALLY TOLD THEM NOT TO INCLUDE BECAUSE YOU'RE ALLERGIC TO IT! WHY ARE YOU LETTING THIS SLIDE OFF?!" - All in all, he's just glad you're there for him because damn, someday his temper is going to get the best of him and he doesn't know what to do. And with your friendship, he's learned how to cope with his spontaneous anger by carrying soothing stuff to ease his nerves (courtesy of your suggestions and gifts for him) - Basically the dynamic of a rapid gremlin with rabies and a calm, sunshine personified angel. Everyone (Riz, including, but he's more subtle and dry about it) joked about the unlikely friendship, and how your ears must've lost a little bit of hearing capacity. Rissoto - I feel like he'd be extremely attached to a childhood friend. You've been friends since before you underwent the drastic change by going through a lot to get to where he is now, and still the only person that stuck around with him was you. By that, you became the most trusted by him due to the fact you've known each other for very long. - As his best friend, you're his confidant and finds himself often going to you if ever he needed advice, or needed to vent about his stress. He really isn't vocal but when he's confiding in you, his words spill out of his mouth usually sealed tightly just steadily flows, his big strong Capo veneer falls apart in front of you but he doesn't necessarily feel unsafe by being vulnerable. That's how he trusts you. - No one will dare to bad mouth you in front of the Capo, or else there'd be hell to pay for. I mean, teasing is fine, he knows you can handle burns from team mates here and there (and will silently smirk at it) but he will not stand it if they attempt to belittle you for something unreasonable. "Watch your mouth. That was
out of their control, stop blaming them for something they can't do." - The type of friend that doesn't know how to comfort someone, but will try their best. So as you spill your heart out, tears, snot, sweat and all, he'll just pull you to his chest and awkwardly pat your shoulders to get you calm and comforted. Not to mention, he is extremely stiff at the hug and is very unsure what words to say to you to not upset or offend you any further, so he'll just ride it out smoothly, and let you let it all out on his chest. It's not like he can't wash your tears, snot and sweat on his chest anyways. - Since he is very non-vocal, he's a good listener so rant all the way! Complain about the weather, about your lack of love life, about how underpaid the hitmen team is, anything! He won't find the perfect response, so he'll just nod along and perhaps comment occasionally on what your saying. "So like, ugh, I am soooo frustrated at how Prosciutto could say that to Pesci! He makes a good point, but it's redundant for him to be too harsh on him! Look, all I'm saying is, maybe Prosciutto should start choosing his words correctly so that Pesci won't feel too upset! You know???" You glanced at your friend, as he simply sat attentively beside you. He nods silently as a response. "Anyways—" - Extremely great at deduction and the way he reads people so easily is so unreal. And so he uses this to his advantage to know what's up with you whenever you seemed off. By this, he's able to tell whenever you're upset but scared to talk about it, frustrated but too busy to talk about, etc etc. And with this, he takes the time to drag you to take a seat, and talk about what's been bothering you. If you don't wish to talk about it at all, he'll let you be after with a reassurance that you can overcome whatever the heck you're going through. - Everyone is surprised that you two aren't married??? That you're just friends??? The way you two look just makes you two look like a couple and it boggles the others how you two aren't one.

Finale - Rewrite writing concept -getting the ember and leaving the isle-spoilers
Tumblr media
=
Mal, Hadie, and Celia stepped through the door to the arcade, Mal sighing in relief to see her friends safe and sound. Celia parted from her side and skipped towards her dad, who was giving a reading. “M!” Evie cried, looking relieved to see Mal as Mal stepped down the stairs towards the billiards/foosball fusion table where Carlos, Jay, and (y/n) were playing. “Did you get-“ Mal opened her hand just slightly, enough to reveal the ember, looking black as coal. “-good, now we can get off this rock”
Mal laughed a bit at Evie's wording and nodded, turning to ask Jay where the bikes were but he interrupted her ”how’d you get it by the way? I assume either Hadie got it for you or you snatched it?”
“uh, he gave it to me?” Mal answered, sounding more like a question than anything else.
“he just” Carlos started, furrowing his brows in confusion and glancing to Hadie “gave it to you? And not Hadie?”
“Yeah well, there's a reason behind it which is-guess whomst the fuckiest my dad is?” Mal laughed, giving her friends a tilted smile as they looked at her strangely, why bring up her dad at a time like this?
“Oh no fucking way” it hit Carlos first, his eyes widening “no fucking way but you said-“ Mal laughed again, sounding strangled.
“I know! I know! I thought so too! But I guess it's just another thing my mother lied to me about” Jay looked a little miffed at not understanding what Carlos and Mal were talking about, Evie looking lost as well “Remember how I said my dad was human? For the last 19 fucking years?” Jay and Evie nodded, (y/n) cleaning up the table behind them before freezing as realization dawned on her.
“Oh, no fucking way” (y/n) groaned, looking to Mal with an exasperated look “your dad is-that means-what the actual fuck” Evie finally had enough and turned to Mal with her brow raised.
“Okay spill before I stab you”
“My dad is fucking Hades” Mal hissed quietly, leaning closer to Jay and Evie as their eyes went wide in shock “Yep, my mother lied, again, about my dad. Told me he was human to keep me in check and shit.”
“I-“ Jay stuttered, unable to get anything out as his mouth opened and closed.
“How?” Evie asked, glancing between Hadie and Mal, just now realizing the two had some physical similarities. “And…why? Isn’t Hades with Persephone?” Hadie’s jaw clicked at that.
“I don’t know, and I don’t want to know why, but we can do all this processing shit later when Auradon or Audrey aren’t in danger, let’s go. You got our bikes back, right?” Mal asked the boys, wincing as (y/n) glared darkly. She would take that as a no then.
“Nope, they got away” Carlos muttered, crossing his arms.
“The only way back to Auradon is the bridge then” Mal sighed, smiling as Evie clicked her heels on the dusty arcade floor.
“Glad I wore my comfortable heels then” Jay grabbed Evie's arm before the two could leave.
“Yeah, we need the remote, and I left it at the house” Mal and Evie shared a horrified look, what were they going to do? Auradon was in danger and they were stuck on the isle with no way off.
“I lifted it off of your bag” the group turned to Celia, who was holding the golden remote to the barrier “I thought it would be useful and it is” Evie smiled, stepping towards Celia and leaning on a support beam.
“Thank you, you saved our butts” Celia smiled and Jay took the remote, pressing his lips together in an impressed smirk.
“Sweet” Celia turned to hug her father one last time as everyone grabbed their bags and started to make their way out of the arcade, she kissed him on the cheek and ran after (y/n), meeting (y/n)’s stride as she patted Celia’s back.
“Good job kid” Celia beamed again, happy her thieving skills were being appreciated. “also Mal!” Mal turned her head to show she was listening “After this shit is over, we're coming back here and getting those damn bikes back, that thing is too damn expensive to lose to a fucking isle goon” Mal snorted and nodded.
“Noted” honestly Mal wanted her bike back anyway, Carlos had spent several months making and modifying their bikes to fit them perfectly, she wasn’t about to let them be stripped.
-
The group of vks, and one dimension traveling girl, finally arrived at the bridge, Jay taking out the remote and pressing the bottom button opening the barrier. “come on” Mal mumbled, nodding her head towards the opening. The others followed her lead and stepped through the barrier line.
Just as the ember crossed over the line, it ignited in a strong flash of light and heat, Mal felt fire shoot up her hand holding the ember and cover her entire body. Mal gasped in slight pain as the flash of energy flooded through her and filled her with a brand-new feeling of power and magic she had never felt before.
Mal let out the shuddering breath she had been holding and shook her head, the fire that had been drained by Audrey had been returned at full force…but it felt…different from her normal fire. Mal opened her eyes and looked down at her hands, gasping as she realized her entire outfit had changed. Gone were the purples and greens of her maleficent-themed outfit, replaced by the cool blues and dark greys of Hades, blue flames licking up her vest-turned-jacket and boots.
“Holy shit” Carlos muttered, grabbing Mal's arm to stabilize her as she wobbled on her feet slightly “What happened?”
“I-I don’t know? It might have to do something with the ‘hades being my dad’ thing? Hadie?” Mal looked to Hadie, frowning as he looked at her just as confused as she felt. “shit, okay, um-ya know what? We’re gonna ignore this for now and figure out what the fuck happened when all this shit is over with okay? Okay.” Evie picked up a lock of Mal's hair, bringing it in front of Mal's face “Evie-my hairs blue….my hair is fucking blue it was brown two seconds ago and now it's blue”
“To be fair your hair was purple three hours ago, and it's also purple at the top.” Jay supplied, pulling back a bit as Mal whirled around to glare at him.
“Not helping Jay” Mal hissed, she turned back towards Auradon and closed her eyes “Okay, we-let’s just go, we’re wasting-HEY!” just as Mal was handing the ember to Hadie, it was suddenly snatched from her hand…by a turquoise tentacle.
“Uma!” (y/n) gasped, running towards the edge of the bridge and the rest followed as Uma emerged from the sea.
“That’s my name~”
-end of finale concept writing-
Yeah soooo this is basically what's going to happen in Finale after Mal gets the ember from her newly found dad~ yeah in this version Mal thought her dad was human but Maleficent lied to her about that to keep Mal in line because if Mal knew her dad was human then Mal wouldn’t have listened to her for shit lemme tell you that. Also, im kinda making Hades not the worst father around (his reasoning for getting with Maleficent while he’s still married to Persephone will also be explained) His absence from Mal’s life will be explained in Finale when its released, so have fun waiting for that XD
@disneyfan50 uh, what do you think????? 👉👈

Also, I have a yoga fic already posted with bakugou x fem!reader so if this doesn’t satisfy your need of bakugou being a flexible pretzel and failing you can read more here 😂
Bakugou Katsuki
Tumblr media
THE STRUGGLE IS REAL
like Bakugou prides himself on going to the gym everyday, but he focuses on strength training and muscle building
the art of flexibility takes time, effort, and perseverance
he gets super frustrated when he can't get the splits in 2.5 seconds
“Careful or you might pull something.”
he ignores you ofc bc for some reason he thinks he’s gonna get the splits if he just - forces himself???
“seriously, Bakugou, don’t push so much-”
“Shut up I know what I’m - OW SHIT FUCKING HELL”
poor bby is on the ground cradling his thigh bc he pulled his hamstring
And lemme tell you THAT SHIT HURTS 😭
he’s literally screaming bloody murder
-like he’s faced a lot of pain from hero training but pulling your hamstring is just so. much. worse???
you grab an icyhot pack (aka you grab Todoroki lol) but Bakugou’s just like “hell no fuck off half n half”
“Must be bad. I heard you crying from downstairs-”
“I SAID FUCK OFF” Todoroki shrugs and leaves.
you roll your eyes at Bakugou’s stubbornness and grab some muscle balm instead
“Tch. I can do it myself” but you ignore him and rub the balm on his thigh, he doesn’t fight it
after that whole fiasco he finally listens to your warnings when you tell him that's enough
he’s in the splits in a little over a month!
“Oh my god, Bakugou, you’re doing it!”
“Tch. I know.”
you don’t miss the small smile on his face
he goes up to you later and shoves something in your hands
“Um. What’s this?”
“A movie ticket” you stare at it blankly, he rolls his eyes
“I’m taking you to the movies tonight, dumbass.”
“Like a date?” you stare up with hopeful eyes
“The fuck? No! As payment.”
you blink, clearly confused
“You know… for helping me with my stretches.”
Oh.
you blush in embarrassment at the misunderstanding
“I’ll meet you out front at 7. Don’t be late.” he walks off, but before he reaches the corner he stops-
“Ugh fine! It’s a date! Happy!?”
you erupt in the biggest smile
he wants to be the only one to make you smile like that from now on
Todoroki Shouto
Tumblr media
Todoroki is impressed with how flexible you are, and you’re quite surprised when he asks you to help him
the most aloof - and handsome - guy in your class you’ve barely spoken TWO words to has come to you for help??? is this a dream? someone pinch you 👀
but there you are, the next day in his dorm, gently pushing his hips down
Todoroki’s working on his warrior/scorpion pose (ya’ll there's so many names for this pose jfc the one where you’re standing on one leg, back arched, and you’re holding the other leg above your head)
he’s sweating and breathing heavily, and when you go to steady him, you actually burn your hand on his bicep.
“Ouch!”
“Are you okay?”
he’s hovering over you the next second, you show him your hand, a blister already forming
“Damn it. I still have trouble controlling my left side,” he looks away from you, clenching his fists, “I’m sorry, Y/N.”
“Hey, it’s okay,” you blow cool air on the wound to stop the tingling, “all better,” you smile up at him
“Here, let me,” he pulls his shirt up to reveal his stomach and places your hand on the right side. You sigh in relief as your hand is instantly cooled.
Uh oh.
you realize where your hand is currently pressed against 😳
you’re so tempted to trace along the hard contours of his abs
“Y/N? You’re burning up.” he touches your cheek, your heart doing somersaults at the closeness
“Oh-kay, that’s enough for today!” you squeak, running away from a thoroughly confused Todoroki
Todoroki shows excellent progress in just a couple weeks. He says it’s because he has a great teacher, but you know it's his work ethic and how he listens to your advice and applies it flawlessly.
He’s even gotten better at controlling his left side since he’s constantly relaxing his muscles to get deeper in the stretch.
it happens during warm-ups before training
Class 1-A goes into some stretches when you see Todoroki go into a perfect scorpion. His back perfectly arched and his leg reaching above his head.
“Oh my god, Todoroki, you’re doing it!” you clap your hands in excitement
“Am I?”
...is this boy for real? lol
“YES” you laugh at his stoic expression
“I see.” He softly comments before going into another stretch.
your shoulders deflate, disappointed at the lack of enthusiasm
“I couldn’t have done it without you,” he cracks a small smile and your breath is taken away by the simple gesture. It’s rare to see him with such a soft expression, and the fact that you’re the reason for it sends your heart aflutter.
AND bc he’s totally oblivious to your current state, he goes up to you and whispers, “you’re an amazing teacher, Y/N”
“It was n-nothing re-really it was a-all you!” you laugh awkwardly, unable to meet his eyes.
“How can I thank you?”
“It-it’s really n-not necessary!”
“Hmm…” he walks away deep in thought and you’re just standing there like the stuttering mess you are bc how dare he walk away like nothing!?
Mina’s got your back tho bc frankly it's quite sad how awkward you are and how oblivious Todoroki is that she NEEDS to become the captain of this ship stat
She “casually” suggests to Todoroki that he should take you out to eat as a thank you for helping him.
and when he walks you to your door that night he says, “I hope you enjoyed our date”
“D-date?” cue the butterflies in your stomach
“Was it not a date?” You’re pinned by his intense gaze, but you manage to squeak out a “yes!” in your confused daze. He chuckles at your nervousness
“Have a good night, Y/N.” he kisses your cheek
and when you give Mina the details of your date there’s a bunch of squealing from her end and you’re just like 😳 the entire night
Kaminari Denki
Tumblr media
“Woah, Y/N, you’re really flexible. Can you put your foot over your head?”
You show him and he’s totally amazed. “Cool! Can you teach me? I wanna put BOTH legs over my head!”
first day of stretching with Kaminari is… def a day you remember
“Ow ow! Y/N, don’t break me!”
“Denki, I’m not even touching you!”
He looks up where your hands are on your hips
“oh... heh” he gives you a sheepish smile
You roll your eyes. How you’re gonna get this boy flexible enough to put his foot over his head is beyond you, but you’re happy it’s going to take a while - it means more time spent with your crush
You spend an hour with Kaminari each day to perfect his stretching routine (It should only take about 20 minutes, but the boy’s got the attention span of a newborn puppy)
“Woah check out that cloud, Y/N.” Kaminari looks in awe at the sky. You sigh, not again
“Denki, we’re not done, get back in the stretch”
“Look Y/N,” he points, “doesn’t it look exactly like baby yoda?” He lies down on the grass to gaze at the clouds
“Oh my god, Denki, I’m gonna kill - oh wow…” you gaze up in awe at the cloud, “baby yoda…”
You and Kaminari spend the rest of the hour cloud gazing
After literal MONTHS of getting on Kaminari’s ass he can FINALLY put his legs over his head.
He calls out to you during a training exercise, “Y/N LOOK I DID IT!”
“NOT ONE BUT TWO!” he points at both of his legs with a huge smile
You feel a rush of happiness because even after how frustrated you were with him at times, you would do it a million times over if it meant getting to see such a pure smile.
“Congrats!” you say, “Now, stand up so I can give you a hug!”
“Um…” he sheepishly looks up at you, “I’m kinda... stuck?”
You roll your eyes affectionately, “the things I do for you.”
You’re about to help Kaminari when Bakugou shoves him backwards giving everyone in class a clear view of his ass in the air 😂
“Hah, dumbass.”
Kaminari waddles helplessly side to side
“Y/N?” he squeaks, “a little help here?”
Later that week he tells you he found a yoga class for both of you to take and you’re surprised. He still wants to spend time with you?
But then he says, “Are you crazy? Why wouldn’t I wanna spend time with the coolest person I know?”
You choke on your tea, in disbelief at his words - that was a huge compliment and you know Kaminari is a very open person so you just brush it off with an “Oh stop it…”
“No I’m serious, Y/N, you’re awesome. Like super awesome,” he gives an awkward laugh while rubbing the back of his neck
“I’ve been thinking… maybe after yoga, we can, i don't know... hit up the arcade or something? Or it doesn’t have to be the arcade, it could be anything really!”
You’ve never seen Kaminari this flustered before. He’s the type to brush off his mistakes with a laugh, always moving on to the next moment.
“No, the arcade sounds fun!”
You reassure him and the confident light in his eyes returns
“Oh and Denki?”
“Yeah?”
“Prepare to get rekt in mario kart”
This starts a whole ass play fight about who’s gonna get dunked on when racing down rainbow road

“Happy Birthday!” He exclaimed with a wide smile on his face. I met his eyes and felt content now that he was here. “I got you a present.” He pulled out a small box with a pink ribbon tied into a bow on top. I carefully took it from his hands and opened it, my smile falling into a pout when I saw the plastic ring inside; a yellow star.
“I don’t like yellow.” I pouted up at him and he just smiled at me, taking a seat beside me, and taking the ring from the box.
“You remind me of the colour yellow. So happy and always bringing me light. And you’re the star in my life.” I looked to the ring in between his thumb and pointer finger and in that moment I never saw a prettier piece of jewelry. “Let’s get married when we get older.” I met my best friend’s eyes. We’re only ten, not sure what love is, but I want him in my life forever.
“Okay.” He slid the ring on my finger the way we’ve seen in movies.
I opened the same small box from my memories, the ring that no longer fits sitting in the box just as beautiful as that day. “Y/N, are you ready to go?” I turned towards my bedroom door to see my mom standing there with a small smile on her face. I nodded, closing the box, and putting it back in the drawer it always sits in before making my way towards her. She placed her aging hands on my cheeks before kissing my forehead. “Happy birthday, sweet pea.”
“All the tests look great. I think we’re in the clear for now.” My mom and I exchanged excited looks as the doctor relayed my latest test results. Tears welled up in my mom’s eyes and she took my hand with a smile.
“Does that mean I can go back to Korea?” I asked hopefully, wanting to return to my hometown and find the boy from my only lasting memory.
“I don’t see why not. You will have to continue with check ups there, but I think we’ve done all we could here for you.” I squeezed my mom’s hand in excitement, ready to get my life back after all these years.
It was only a week later that we were packed and ready to go home. I took one last walk around the house we called home for the last 15 years. “Let’s go or we’ll miss our flight.” We grabbed the last of our bags and slid into the cab that was waiting for us. I’m not sure how I’ll find that little boy who is surely a man now, but I’m making it my mission to find him; my childhood best friend.
 3 Months Later
Days went by faster than I was used to. I had a part time job I worked at when I wasn’t in class. Mom told me to take it easy as it hasn’t been that long since my last surgery, but I felt on top of the world being around people my age again. “Hi, Kookie!” I greeted as I walked into the coffee shop for my shift. He waved excitedly as I headed to the back. “Busy day?” I asked when I came up front and took my usual spot at the register.
“Not really, but it’s bound to pick up now.” The two of us made small talk and jokes in between customers. Jungkook was the first friend I made when I returned to Korea. He helps made the lonely days a little less lonely. I’ve had zero progress finding my childhood best friend, even with all the information my mom could give me. I had hoped being back would help jog some memories, but the doctors did warn me that it was possible the memories may never return.
The bell chiming above the door signalling a new customer has arrived pulled me from my thoughts as I greeted him with a smile. When he smiled back I felt my heart pick up pace. Jungkook chuckled as I stumbled over taking his order. “I took matters into my own hands, since you’ve always been a chicken shit.” He whispered into my ear, though he never explained just what he meant.
I found out later that night when I had a new text from an unknown number claiming to be the cute boy from the coffee shop. I smiled and shook my head as I texted him back, apologizing for my co-worker and friend.
No need to apologize. I’m glad he gave me your number. I stared down at his text, my smile growing wider at the implication that he wanted my number.
 Me too.
We spent the rest of the night talking when I really should have been studying for my upcoming exam. But getting to know the cute boy, Park Jimin, seemed a lot more important than my grades.
The days passed as I continued to text Jimin and get to know him. We started hanging out whenever we both had free time and I found myself growing fond of his company. I had the same feeling in my heart as I did on my tenth birthday. It made me wonder if fate had done my work for me and brought him back to me. “This is going to sound insane.” I told him as we walked along the beach while the sun set on the horizon. I explained my memory loss. I told him about my only childhood memory; my tenth birthday. About the promise with my best friend.
“Oh my god, you’re that Y/N?” He exclaimed, something clicking in his mind as he gave me a once over, his eyes studying every part of my body. And then he threw his arms around me. “I thought I’d never see you again.” It was all I needed to hear to confirm my suspicions. I allowed my heart to be given to him as he pressed his lips to mine for the first time.
A month after we officially started dating, he asked if I wanted to go to a movie with him and his best friend, telling me to bring Jungkook as well as he wanted to officially meet him and thank him for getting us together. Jungkook and I met Jimin and his best friend at the theatre. Jungkook was staring at his phone as I looked around for my boyfriend, smiling when I saw him walking my way. “Hey.” I smiled as he leaned down and gave me a quick kiss.
“I’m Kim Taehyung.” His friend greeted, holding his hand out for me to shake. I slid my hand into his as I introduced myself. Jungkook did the same, and the 4 of us went to get our tickets and snacks. Jungkook and Taehyung immediately hit it off, laughing about who knows what, while Jimin wrapped his arm around me, saying he missed me.
After the movie, we hit the arcade and Taehyung and I bonded as Jimin and Jungkook got super competitive with each other. “I learned to never play against Jungkook the hard way.” I joked, remembering the day he was teaching me to play some of his favourite video games.
“I learned that about Jimin too.” Taehyung laughed. We were just aimlessly walking around the arcade when my eyes stopped on one of those machines you put a coin in and get a plastic ball with a small prize inside. My eyes scanned the different prizes, smiling when I saw it had plastic rings; one that had a yellow star. “I remember loving these when I was a kid.” Taehyung laughed, scratching the back of his neck as if he was nervous. “I actually got my first crush a ring from one of these.” I looked up at him with a smile.
“Jimin got me one for my birthday when we were ten. I actually still have it. He told me we should get married when we’re older.” I looked across the arcade to see Jimin and Jungkook walking over to us. “I didn’t think it would happen, but I’m starting to really fall for him.” I could see Taehyung’s face fall as I spoke. I turned away from him, pretending I couldn’t feel the new tension in the air and wrapped my arms around Jimin’s torso.
After that day, the 4 of us became almost inseparable, spending all our free time together and making new memories I would be sure to remember for a lifetime. Though, Taehyung seemed to avoid me as much as possible. I tried not to let it bother me and just continue on happily.
It wasn’t until my birthday that things seemed to change. Jimin said he worked that afternoon but would pick me up that evening for a romantic birthday dinner. Jungkook came over to help me waste time until then. I had just finished getting ready when the doorbell went off. Thinking it was Jimin, I rushed to answer, my smile faltering when I saw Taehyung on the other side. “I need to talk to you.” He spit out in a rush, grabbing my wrist and pulling me into my own house. We sat beside each other on the couch, but he got up and started pacing as he tried to get his words together. “Jimin isn’t the one who got you that ring for your birthday.”
“What do you mean?” I asked as confusion took over my features.
“It was me.” He stopped pacing and just stared at me as he said that. “A plastic ring with a yellow star. I told you it was because you remind me of the colour yellow, that you are my star. I lied. I tried to get you the one with the pink heart, but I ran out of change. I practiced that lie the entire walk to your house.” I stood from my seat on the couch.
“Jimin has no reason to lie to me, Tae. Can you please leave? He’ll be here soon.” He opened his mouth to say something else, but I just walked away from him, not wanting to hear another word. I sat on my bed, thinking over everything Taehyung told me in my living room. Jimin wouldn’t have lied to me all those months ago, would he? Why would he lie? The doorbell ringing once again pulled me from my thoughts, and Jimin was on the other side this time.
“Happy birthday, angel.” He leaned in and gave me a quick kiss, and I let Taehyung’s words go. Or at least I tried to. They distracted me all through dinner before I just couldn’t take it anymore. I set my cutlery down, causing Jimin to look up from his plate.
“What did the plastic ring look like?” I asked, needing to know. Say yellow star. Please just say yellow star. I pleaded in my mind.
“It was pink, because that’s your favourite colour.” He smiled before setting his own cutlery down. “Why are you asking, love?”
“Why did you lie to me, Jimin?” I stared at the man in front of me, unsure if I really knew him. He blinked a few times before sitting back in his chair and looking out the window we were sat next to.
“I just, you seemed so happy when you thought you found him in me, and I didn’t want to let that go.” I scoffed, sitting back in my own seat, thinking back to the words I practically spat at Taehyung earlier in the night. “I just wanted you to like me.” He leaned forward, trying to take my hand in his, but I pulled it back.
“Did you really think I wouldn’t like you just because you weren’t my childhood best friend?” He sat there, seemingly unable to answer. “I liked you long before I thought you were him, Jimin. And I would have liked you still if you just told me.”
“I’m sorry.” I shook my head, standing up from the table and grabbing my purse. “Don’t go. Let’s work this out.”
“I can’t stand liars, Jimin.” Was all I said before walking out, calling Jungkook to pick me up. “Do you know where Tae lives?” I asked as I got into his car, not bothering to explain.
“I’ll take you there.” Was all he said, knowing I’d tell him everything tomorrow. I was on a mission and I needed to talk to Taehyung.
“What are you doing here?” Taehyung asked as he opened the door.
“Why now? Why hide this from me when you knew?” He stood there, confusion turning into realization as he stepped aside and let me in. If this was a different scenario, I would have taken the time to look around, take in the way he lives. I would take in his décor and the random, half finished paintings strewn about, abandoned for another.
“You seemed so happy with Jimin, but I just couldn’t hold it in anymore. I wanted you to know the truth.” I nodded.
“So you’re my childhood best friend.” I said out loud, to no one in particular. I turned around to finally take in the apartment he lives in. “I wish I could tell if you had changed or not, but I don’t really remember who you were.” He chuckled and took my side, gesturing for me to take a seat. He disappeared into another room for only a minute before emerging with a photo album.
“Here.” He handed it towards me as he took a seat beside me. I slowly opened it to be met with two smiling babies. “Our dad’s were best friends growing up. Their wish was for us to become just as close.” He explained, pointing to another picture where our parents stood around laughing. “Our mom’s used to joke that our dad’s would leave them for each other if they could.” I chuckled as tears welled up in my eyes.
“My mom never talks about my dad, or your parents. What happened?” Taehyung told me about the accident. How our dad’s were going on their annual bro trip and got hit by a drunk driver. How our mom’s stopped talking after that, really only being friends because their husbands were close.
“But we stayed close.” He told me. “We went to the same school and were always together.” I smiled as he flipped the page, pointing to a picture of us in our uniforms, smiling widely at the camera.
“You told me that you got the plastic ring for your first crush.” I pointed out and watched as his cheeks went pink and he smiled shyly.
“You were always beautiful to me.” He shrugged. “And you always knew how to make me laugh. Even after the accident when I thought I’d never be happy, you stuck around and did everything you could to see me smile every day.” I playfully shoved him with my shoulder.
“I’m glad I was that for you.” He pointed at some other pictures, explaining backstories, and telling me all about our childhood together.
“And then you were gone.” He ended, closing the album, and setting it on the table. I took his hand in mine, causing him to look at me.
“I got into an accident, Tae. After waking up from the initial surgery, I was told they needed to do tests as they believed they found a tumour in my brain. My mom moved us to America after finding a world-renowned doctor who could save my life. I had many surgeries, that’s why I can’t remember my childhood with you. But I held on to that ring and the memory of my tenth birthday, promising myself I’d come back to you one day. I’m sorry it took so long.” He just stared into my eyes before bringing a hand up to my face, cupping it gently before closing the space between us; kissing me softly.

Hey, it’s the Hero Lab!
[1 July, Age 726.    Planet Plant.]
The latest reports from the frontlines were very encouraging.    The Tuffles were a stubborn enemy, but the Saiyans had managed to drive them out of the north quarter of Orange City, while the Truffle pushback in Cidertown had slowed to a virtual standstill.   Nappa smiled as he laid the report down and enjoyed the view from his new penthouse.    The blood of the previous owner still stained the walls and floors, but he rather enjoyed the scent of dead Tuffles.   It gave the place some much-needed personality.
"You seem to be in a good mood today."
Nappa looked up from the balcony and spotted a young Saiyan floating overhead.    He didn't recognize the man, but judged him to be part-alien from the color of his hair and the strange clothes that he wore.    He looked more like a Tuffle than a Saiyan, but the scent was proof enough that he wasn't Nappa's enemy.    Whatever the young man's parentage, his blood was nothing like the kind that decorated his new home.
"Why wouldn't I be happy?" Nappa asked.   His thin mustache framed his smile as he crossed his arms over his massive chest.    "The Tuffles have been lording over us for years, and now we're finally taking over this planet, just as easily as I took over this apartment.    Before long, the Tuffles will be the ones begging us to let them stay on Planet Plant."
"I guess you're right," the man said.   "At least until someone stronger comes along and takes it all away from you."
"I like you, kid," Nappa said with a gravely laugh.    "You sure do know how to tell a joke.   What brings you here?"
"I had some questions," he said as he alighted on the balcony.  "I need information, and I heard you knew my father, so I thought I'd start with you."
Nappa eyed the man suspiciously.    "I know a lot of fathers," he said.   "None of them wore long black coats, or carried a sword, though.    What's your dad's name, kid?"
"Vegeta," he said.
Nappa laughed.    Then he looked at the young man more carefully, doing his best to ignore the blue eyes and the lavender hair that hung around his face.   Then he laughed harder.
"Something funny about that?" the man asked.
"I do see a bit of a resemblance," Nappa said.   "Guess King Vegeta II had a few 'unofficial' heirs over the years, huh?   Who knew he had it in him?   So which is it?   You want to blackmail the royal family?    Or were you hoping they'd give you a cushy civil service job?"
"Nothing like that," the man said.   "I just wanted to ask you some questions.    Nothing personal, just general background stuff."
"Yeah?  Well why should I help you?" Nappa asked.    "For that matter, killing you would probably be a smarter play.    One less would-be usurper for the king to worry about, right?  I’m sure your old man would make it worth my while."
"Oh, I probably should have been more specific," the young man said.    "My father isn't Vegeta the Second.    It's Vegeta the Fourth."
Nappa gave him a sidelong glance.    "There is no Vegeta IV," he said warily.
"Not yet, anyway," the man said with a knowing smile.
"That's it, I don't know what your game is, punk, but I'm through playing!" Nappa said.    "You can tell your lies in hell!"
He drew back his arm and threw a punch that would have killed most Saiyans on contact.    Nappa had made a name for himself on the battlefield for defeating entire companies of Tuffle mechatroops all by himself.    He fully expected to turn the young man's head into a cloud of red mist.
Instead, the man blocked his strike with such incredible speed that Nappa couldn't even tell that he had moved.   In one instant, the man had been standing with his hands in his pockets.    And then in the next, the man was now gripping Nappa's palm with his thumb and index finger.    He squeezed slightly, and Nappa nearly dropped to his knees from the pain.
"Nnnghhh!" was the noise he made as he struggled not to show how much it hurt.   His free hand reached up for his scalp, where he tugged at the tuft of thick black hair on his head.
"Look, let's cut to the chase, all right?   For you, this'll only take a few minutes, but I might be doing these interviews all night, so don't waste my time, okay?   Those Tuffles you're fighting might be pushovers, but I'm not.    So now that you know that you can't brute force your way out of this, what'll it be?"
He released Nappa's hand, and Nappa gasped with relief as he cradled it in his other palm.   He stared at his hands for a moment, then at the man.   Then he paused to consider the sword, and how much worse it would get if the young man decided to make use of it.
"Heh.   Uh, yeah, sorry, Your Majesty.   I-I should have recognized you sooner.    Anything you want, just let me know, Prince... uh... Prince... What'd you say your name was?"
"I didn't," he replied.  "So, let's start with a simple one.    Have you ever heard of a Saiyan named Luffa?"
*******
[1 December Age 893, Earth.]
"Honestly, I didn't expect him to know Luffa.    Nappa didn't recognize her when she faced him on a Time Patrol mission, but he did fill me in on a few things."
By Age 889, the arcade game Super Dragon Ball Heroes had become a popular pastime, and the city of Hero Town became the global headquarters for the craze.    Gaming enthusiasts from around the world traveled to Hero Town to partake in the game, which was based upon actual events from the previous century.   Trunks had logged many hours in front of an SDBH cabinet, though his reasons had nothing to do with recreation.   For all its popularity, the game had a very strange secret.    It was the Capsule Corporation who developed the software, but the world within the game was actually made possible by the Time Patrol.   Deep beneath Hero Tower was the Hero Lab, where the Time Patrol occasionally conducted secret research and reconnaissance.
"I don't get it, Master," said a teenage girl standing near one of the main computer terminals that surrounded nearly every surface of the Hero Lab.    "You formed the Dragon Ball Heroes Team to help you defeat Sealas, right?   So why didn't you come to us on this Towa situation?"
"Note's right, Trunks!" said a teenage boy eating mochi from a bag.  "I'm Goku's descendant, after all!   It's not fair to leave me out of a case like this."
Trunks deactivated the Hero Switch device and handed it to Anne, one of the scientists who maintained the lab.    His black trenchcoat and sword hung next to several labcoats on a metal rack in the corner, revealing the olive-green sweater he wore underneath.   He smiled at Note and Beat, and then Dr. Leggings, the project director of the Hero Lab, who was programming the next simulation.
"I understand where you're coming from, kids," Trunks said, "and I appreciate the offer, but it's not that simple."
"Why not?" Beat asked.   "From what you've told us, Luffa's a Saiyan, right?   If that's all you needed, then I could have tackled these missions for you.  I'm a Saiyan, too."
"Oh, here we go..." Note grumbled.  She made sure to roll her eyes dramatically enough for everyone in the room to see.
"What?" Beat asked.    "It's true, isn't it?"
"Beat, even I have Saiyan ancestry," Dr. Leggings said without looking up from her computer terminal.   "After a hundred and thirty years of Saiyans living on Earth, it's not as uncommon as you might think."
"She's right," Trunks said.   "We have a lot of Saiyan-Earthling Time Patrollers back in Toki Toki City from the next century.   A few of the stranger ones call me 'Your Highness', but I try not to hold it against them.      Besides, if all I cared about was Saiyan blood, I'd go to my father for help.   So that's not why I recruited you, or Luffa, for that matter."
"Then why did you recruit Luffa instead of coming to us?" Beat asked.
"Listen,” Trunks said.   “In my timeline, No. 17 and 18 had destroyed much of the world.   Son Gohan was the only Z-fighter left, and he was reluctant to train me.    He needed the help, but he was worried about me getting hurt.    I think eventually he decided he didn't have a choice.    He knew that if anything happened to him, there would have been no one else to defeat the Cyborgs.   But now I understand how his reluctance.    After he... well.... Later on, when I was on my own, I was determined to defeat them alone.   I wanted no part of my mother's plan to use her Time Machine to get help from Goku."
"But, Master, if you hadn't gone back in time," Note said, then you never would have joined the Time Patrol, or formed the Dragon Ball Heroes Team!"
"Exactly," Trunks said.    "Working with Goku and his friends in the past, I learned how valuable it can be to have allies.   It's not just about having extra hands to help with the hard work.   You can learn from each new friend you make.    And they can learn from you, as well.    I think that's why the Supreme Kai of Time created the Time Patrol in the first place.  So it wouldn't be right to keep turning to the same handful of allies every time.  Besides, I need you guys here, keeping an eye on things in Hero Town."
"Well, yeah," Beat said.   "I guess that makes sense.   But it's been so dull around here lately."
"Tell you what," Trunks offered.   "Once things settle down in Toki Toki City, I'll pull a few strings, maybe bring you guys in on a Time Patrol mission.   How's that sound?"
"Really?!" Note cheered.   She jumped into the air and kicked her heels behind her with excitement.
"Awesome!" Beat said.
"Don't get too carried away," Trunks said.    "I can't make any promises.   Ultimately, it's up to the Supreme Kai of Time.    But I think we can manage something."
"I think we're ready for the next session, sir," Leggings said.   "Assuming these coordinates you gave us are valid.   Are you sure we can trust Nappa?"
"She's right, Master," Note added.    "He's bad news.   Just because you're stronger than he is doesn't mean he would have had any reason to tell you the truth."
"Which is exactly why I'm using Hero Lab to access the game world instead of traveling back in time," Trunks explained.   "Our research teams back in Toki Toki City are constantly using time machines to observe historical events, but they can't interact with anything or ask questions, because it might alter history."
"But the SDBH game is a simulation based upon the Scroll of Eternity itself," Dr. Leggings said.    "Meaning it's a nearly perfect copy of the real world, one that you can tamper with and not have to worry about permanently changing anything."
"Of course!" Note said.   "It's like how Sealas used the game to learn what changes he could make to alter history.   He used the game like a practice run for the real thing."
"Only, instead of changing the way things happened in the past," Beat said, "you're using the game to find out how things are supposed to have turned out.   But how does that help you learn anything about Luffa?"
"I asked Shenron to bring me a powerful ally," Trunks said.    "I should have been more specific about the wish, but I was kind of desperate for the help.   Shenron sent me Luffa, but she had no idea what was going on, and neither of us knows how to get her back where she came from.   She talked to one of our historians, and it's starting to sound like she's from some other part of the universe, or maybe from another timeline.   But wherever she's from, she's still a Saiyan, and not a descendant of Goku or Vegeta, like we are.    So I think if I go far enough into the past, I'll find some historical information we have in common, and maybe I can follow that thread back to her home."
"Phew!" Beat said.   "That sounds like a lot of work!  I'm worn out just thinking about it."
"You're not even doing anything," Note muttered.
"There's no telling what kind of trouble I might run into in the simulated history," Trunks said.   Dr. Leggings has only ever run the simulation in a very narrow time range.   A few centuries at most.   I may end up taking the simulation into uncharted territory, and everything I know about Saiyans tells me that they had plenty of enemies to fight.    If things get hairy, I'll need some backup, and that's where you two come in.   I can't think of anyone better qualified than my two top students."
"Gosh...!" Note said.
"Yeah!  Now you're talking!" Beat cheered.
Anne handed the Hero Switch back to Trunks.   The device was a powerful computer, but it looked like a black bracelet covered in glowing blue lights and a Capsule Corp. logo.   Trunks placed it onto his right wrist and prepared to activate it.
"In the game world," he said, "Nappa told me that "Saiya" was a name for several planets colonized by Saiyans throughout history.   The most recent one was destroyed around four hundred years ago.    Hopefully, someone there will know more about King Rehval, or the Camelian Empire, or this Planet Nagaoka that Luffa once mentioned."
"What if they don't know, sir?" Anne asked.
"Then I'll have to keep traveling backward until I find someone who does," Trunks said.   "Wish me luck."
"Wait, Trunks, one more thing before you go!" Dr. Leggings said urgently.
"Huh?   What's wrong?" Trunks asked.    He held up the Hero Switch on his wrist and pointed at it.   "Everything looks good on this end."
"It's just... are you sure you don't want to wear the Great Saiyaman 3 outfit for this mission?" she asked.
"I'm positive," Trunks said.   Before anyone could object, he activated the bracelet, and vanished into the game world.

[12 May, Age 513.    Planet Saiya.]
"You picked a fine time to ask about the weather, stranger."
The Saiyan’s name was Reeque, and Trunks had no idea how old she was.   The small settlement he found on Saiya was it's largest population center, and they directed him to an old hag who lived in the wastelands.   Trunks found her easily enough, but then the blood-wraiths attacked, and they had to take their conversation on the run.   Powerful as Trunks was, his technology and ki were useless against the intangible creatures, and Reeque's warnings were enough to convince him that he should keep his distance.
"They become solid every seven months," Reeque told him.   "Then we pay them back a thousandfold, but in the meantime, we run and hide until dawn.    They say the storms left them behind, but I doubt that.   Not even Luffa would be so cruel."
She carried a walking stick carved from some gnarled length of driftwood, but Trunks was impressed with how swiftly she crossed the rough terrain.    Her dark red robes flapped behind her back like the wings of some great ugly hawk.
"I apologize for not making myself clear, ma'am," Trunks said as he hopped over a rock.    "The Luffa I asked about is a Saiyan, not a storm system."
"Well that's perfectly clear to me, boy," Reeque said, "but it doesn't change the fact that you're mistaken.   Only Luffa I've ever heard of is the one my great grandmother told me about.     Wiped out the entire Kingdom of Saiya in a single day.   The smart ones fled while they could.   The rest stayed, but only the hardiest few survived.   The environment here was harsh before Luffa, and it only got worse from there.    Without the supplies from allied worlds... well, you learn to savor the taste of roast blood-wraith."
"Then where did the Saiyans go when they abandoned this planet?" Trunks asked.
"Hell," Reeque said.   "If there's any justice, they went to hell.  Otherwise they scattered across the galaxy.     There was a kingdom on Sadala, but my life wouldn't be worth a zinc coin on that forsaken place.   My parents were banished, and they joined the usurper kings during the civil wars.    Fifty years ago, they tried to rebuild Saiya, like the name alone would restore their fortunes.   But there's nothing left here.  Nothing but blood-wraiths and ruin."
None of this was surprising to Trunks, since Nappa had told him this planet would eventually be destroyed altogether.   He had tried to arrive on Saiya well before that day, but it seemed like the destruction of Saiya had been set into motion long before whatever warrior finally put it out of its misery.
"And King Rehval?" Trunks asked.    "What became of him?"
"Why should you care, boy?" Reeque asked.    "You've come a long way in search of the dead."
"I think he's my ancestor," Trunks said.    "I, uh, I'm trying to settle a dowry on another planet, and they're very interested in genealogies."
"Social climber, huh?" Reeque said.   "Well, I can't help you with that.   Anything else you wanted to know?"
"The Camelian Empire," Trunks said.   "Do you know where I can find it?   I don't need exact coordinates, just a general idea will do.  Er, is something wrong, ma'am?"
She began to make a sort of rhythmic coughing sound from her throat, and Trunks eventually figured out that it was laughter.    "You're an amusing fellow," Reeque finally said.   "When I saw that purple hair of yours, I thought I might be seeing things, but my imagination isn't wild enough to dream up such silly questions.   Oh, I've spent countless nights like this one, running from bloodwraiths, but I think I'll remember tonight for a long time to come."
"Then you can't tell me about Camelia either," Trunks said.
"There's nothing to tell, boy," Reeque said with a rasping chuckle.    "The Camelian Empire fell more than three hundred years ago!"

[23 February, 238 Before Age.    Chai I.]
"The ‘Super Saiyan’?   Now what in the world is that, Trunks?"
"It's a legend I heard when I was a boy," Trunks said.   "According to my father, once every thousand years, there's a Saiyan who surpasses the limits of what Saiyans can do.   They're considered the ultimate warriors.   Powerful, invincible, and with an insatiable craving for battle."
Rehval III considered this tale for a moment while admiring the bouquet of his wine.   At last, he took a sip from his glass, and sampled a bite of his fish entree.  Trunks waited patiently at the other side of the table.   The restaurant looked fancier than any Trunks had ever seen on Earth, in any century.   And this was merely a section of a minor administrative building in the Camelian capitol.
"I'll be blunt, Trunks,” Rehval finally said.    “You seem like the kind of man who likes to get to the point, so I won’t keep you in suspense.   I have no idea what you're talking about."
"I see," Trunks said.
"Do you believe in this legend yourself?" Rehval asked.
"No," Trunks said after a pause.  "In my experience there's no such thing as an invincible warrior.  There are extraordinary Saiyans, but not necessarily one every thousand years.    There could be two or three, or a hundred, or none at all."
"I'll tell you what I think," Rehval said.   "I have heard tall tales of ancient Saiyan heroes.   Chanisp was said to have lived about a thousand years ago.    For all I know, they've been saying "a thousand years ago" for centuries.   I mean, a year ago, was anyone saying Chanisp lived 'nine-hundred and ninety-nine years ago'?   Of course not.   The round numbers make for better storytelling, but I deal in precision."
Rehval paused his meal to point at a gold watch on his left wrist.    "My summit with the Camelian Imperial College begins in three hours and twenty-two minutes, Trunks.   I can't afford to offend the Camelians by rounding up.    Time can be a strict mistress."
"I take your point," Trunks said.    "And I appreciate you taking the time to speak with me."
"Not at all," Rehval said.   "There aren't many Saiyans in this part of the galaxy, besides common raiders, I mean.   And you're a man of unusual manners and poise, Trunks.   You're exactly the sort of citizen I want in the Kingdom of Saiya.    I think you'd find life very prosperous under my rule."
"I am... interested in hearing more," Trunks said.    "Let's put it that way."
"Well, then, it's a good thing you found me during this gap in my schedule," Rehval said.    "I have all afternoon to convince you to come home with me."
Trunks smiled as though amused by his remark.    In fact, this had been his third attempt to speak with King Rehval III.   An earlier visit to the Camelian capital world gave him access to important diplomatic records, which showed him the exact date and time of an official visit by the Saiyan King.    Trunks found him on the first try, but he was too busy to talk.    Trunks reset the game world simulation and tried again, approaching Rehval three hours earlier, but wasn't able to catch the man's interest.    This time, he figured out that the key to Rehval's attention was to show interest in joining his cause.   Rehval’s Kingdom was the most powerful Saiyan faction in this era, but his subjects made up less than half of the Saiyan population, and Rehval was very keen on getting more Saiyans to rally to his flag.     Even half-aliens like Trunks were welcome, apparently.
"Where did you say your mother was from?" Rehval asked.    Trunks was pretty sure Rehval had aims for establishing diplomatic ties with Earth, even if he had no idea where it was or if it was worth his time.
"The Yajirobe System," Trunks lied.  "It's pretty far off the beaten path.     But what were you saying about Chanisp?"
"Well, there are lower classes in every society, Trunks," Rehval explained.   "It's not something Saiyans think about much, but other civilizations have demonstrated it time and time again.    The problem is that, in disorganized societies, these lesser citizens don't understand that they have a duty to follow their betters.    And so, in their confusion, they turn to superstitions."
"Go on..." Trunks said.    He took a bite of his salad and chewed thoroughly.
"They say Chanisp defeated a mighty demon and liberated the entire Saiyan race from slavery.    Did it actually happen?    Maybe.   Was he one of your father's 'Super Saiyans'?    He might have been.   How does any of that prove that there should be another one like him ten centuries later?   Oh, and the cycle just happens to reset in the present day.   So the tale expects us to believe that, at any moment, any one of us might miraculously transform into an invincible, demon-slaying superhero.   How convenient."
"Well, when you put it that way..." Trunks said.
"I'm not one to brag, Trunks, but as far as I know, the strongest Saiyan alive is sitting across the table from you.   That's not a challenge, or a demand for respect, just a statement of fact.   I'd have to be stronger to be the king, or I wouldn't be the king for very long, now would I?"
"Makes sense to me," Trunks lied again.
He only brought up the legend to gain historical context.   Rehval seemed to enjoy discussing it, so that worked to Trunks’ favor, but what he had truly wanted to know was whether Rehval had heard of a golden-haired cryptid running amok in the galaxy.   He had not, which meant that there had been no Super Saiyan in this era, or that the Super Saiyan hadn’t appeared yet.
"These legends are just stories people invent to convince themselves that there's a way out of their reality.     When the thousandth year passes, they move the goalpost, or invent a new story to replace the old.   'Oh, the Super Saiyan is real, he's just invisible and working in secret, but he really is here to help us all.'   That sort of thing."
"And that's why you're pursuing diplomatic ties with Camelia," Trunks concluded.  "You can't afford to wait for a messiah."
"The Saiyans are at a crossroads, Trunks," Rehval said.    "If our race is going to survive, we need to follow the same well-tread path as the Camelian Empire.    Statecraft.   National unity.   It's not as romantic as your father's legend, but it works.    It's a path that leads to prosperity.    If we all unite as one kingdom, under one law, then we grow stronger as a people.   That means forming alliances, brokering treaties, and all the other minutiae that goes with it."
"Well, this has been a very interesting discussion, but I'm afraid I need to get going," Trunks said.   He stood up from his chair and gestured to the waiter to bring his coat and sword.    "It's been a pleasure, Your Majesty."
"Wait," Rehval said.   "I thought you wanted to hear more about Planet Saiya.   The great society that I'm building there.   I'd like you to be a part of that society, Trunks."
"I'm sure you would," Trunks said as he put his arms through the sleeves of his coat.    "But I've already seen how Saiya turns out, and I'm already a part of the society you envisioned.   What's left of it, anyway."
"I don't understand."
"It's simple.   Your vision isn't all that visionary, Rehval.   No matter how strong you think you are, there's always someone stronger who'll come along to challenge you.   That's not a leader, that's a gunfighter daring someone to come along and defeat him.   I've grew up in a world ruled by strength alone, and you're half-right.   It is a well-worn path, but it doesn't lead to prosperity."
"What do mean you've already seen Saiya?" Rehval asked.   "Who are you?"
Trunks activated the bracelet on his arm, and vanished from the game world.    The simulated Rehval who existed within it was left with more questions than answers, though he would not ponder them for long.    Soon enough, the simulation would be refreshed, and he would have no memory of this encounter.

Worlds fastest Little and a Super caretaker
Bart was willing to do many things for his friends, Help them out in epic battles, babysit (though most people only made the mistake of letting him baby sit once), Run errands at super speed but today Bart Allen, the fastest boy alive was going to go about and beyond in the favor he was going to do for his second best friend.
Because today he was going to let Kon diaper and baby him.
The urge to baby and look after a little guy was a left over from Kon's time spent in Gem world. After posing as and to some extent becoming the husband to Lophi and father to her son little Lon. Rao knows Kon had tried to just work his feeling out looking after little ones at a daycare job Kal had set him up with but it wasn't enough and he knew there was NO way in hell he'd be able to adopt.
That left finding a little (Something Kon hadn't even known had existed till a little google search) or someone close to one who could be trusted to keep his mouth shut.
Considering all of his options, it naturally came to him that Bart would fit the role perfectly.
'Now the only question is will I be able to keep up with a speed forced charged big toddler.'
Bart arrived five minutes late from when he was suppose to arrive having gotten distracted by a new arcade in town though he lied and said it was a intergang attack. Since he was doing Kon such a big solid Kon decided not to call Bart out on his bullshit excuse and just led him to the bathroom instead.
"Sooo why are we coming in here? I thought I was gonna be going in diapers? Or a training potty. Oh, Do you just want me to wear?" Bart asked, going a million miles a minute like always as Kon just chuckled.
"Bart, when was the last time you took a bath or had a shower?" Kon asked reasonably, starting to run a tub.
"I didn't come here to have my personal hygiene attacked!" Bart huffed and pouted, crossing his arms and glaring.
"Bart, Daddies give their their little ones baths and you smell like you need one." Kon said chuckling.
Bart went to argue then held up a arm and sniffed a pit and made a face at the smell.
"I say we agree to disagree but I'll humor you and let you give me a bath.. if I can play with some bath toys." Bart said, striping down at super speed and having spotted a few toy boats.
Since Kon was going to be diapering him anyways the smaller boy didn't bother to cover up and Kon wasn't shocked that he was devoid of any chest hair or pubic.
"I suppose that can be arranged, but I need to wash you first so g-" Kon started and then was hit with a splash of water as Bart jumped into the tub, shocking him. "-et the tub.. I'm starting to see this is going to be a little different from looking after Lon." Kon sighed, dabbing his face with a towel as Bart giggled impishly.
Bart giggled as he let Kon go to work washing him. Normally he considered Showers and baths a semi waste of time because of how slow they were but having someone else do all the work was actually kinda fun.
After having his hair and body washed Bart was left to coo and play with the boats and a rubber ducky as Kon cleaned up the water Bart had displaced and then went to change into dry clothes.
Oddly the more he played in the tub the more he started to wonder how the ducky would taste and kept stealing glances at the door, not sure how Kon would react if he came back to Bart popping the toy in his mouth.
Deciding to risk it Bart tugged the shower curtain semi closed, and then nommed on the head of the rubber ducky, and giggled, having his mouth stuffed and acting so babyish was bringing flash backs of sucking on a paci and sitting in his parents laps while they watched holo shows. He was enjoying it so much he just closed his eyes and chewed (making sure not to chew too hard) and lost himself in the feeling.
So much so it wasn't until he felt the water getting warmer he realized that apparently he had relaxed a little too much, he was peeing in the tub!
"Ah! Kon!" he yelped, spitting out the rubber ducky and pulling the curtain back. "I-I had a accident!"
Kon had been not only getting changed but setting up the cloth diapers for Bart, making sure he could get the little guy right into the diapies when he heard the cry and dashed into the bathroom.
he might not of been as fast as Bart but he could still hit a pretty nice burst of speed and was picturing the worse. he figured Bart had gotten hurt trying to get out, or had cut himself or something else, cursing himself for leaving the little guy all alone only to get in and see the once clear bath water now had a tell tale yellowish twinge to it, and his super sense confirmed that Bart not only had peed in the tub, but needed to drink more fluids.
The fastest boy alive was standing up in the tub, blushing badly and his bottom lip was trembling.
"I'm sorry I'm sorry I didn't mean to it just came out an-" Bart was saying rapidly, sounding like a over sized toddler.
"heh, it's ok little man. I know you can't control it. I should of sat you on the potty first. At least you didn't make any 'torpedo's' in the tub." Kon said tugging the plug out of the tub and then making use of the removable shower head to re-wash Bart down.
Bart whined at the torpedo's comment but just shushed up and let Kon re-clean him then get him out of the tub, drying him off with a soft and fluffy towel.
"Speaking of stinkies though, I only have so many diapers and we wanna make it last before I have to wash any to change you..so did you wanna sit on the potty and try to go boom boom like a big kid?" Kon asked.
"I can go potty like a big kid!" Bart whined and huffed, his tone taking on a fussy toddler twinge. "And I KNOW I don't hafa uh-oh!"
"mmmhmmm..Of course you know when you have to go." Kon said, smirking and using a condescending tone. "Alright, if your SURE you don't need to sit, let's go get a diapie on you widdle guy." Kon coo'ed.
Bart was huffing and pouting as he padded along, Thinking about just how much of a meanie butt Kon was being when he was trying to be a good friend, even though as they got to the bedroom he could feel his tummy churning a little.
It was too late now though to say he needed to potty so he just convinced himself he could hold it for a little while.
"uh Kon..you know that there are disposable diapers on earth right?" he asked, even as he dropped the towel and plopped his butt on the thick white terrycloth diapers, nothing it was pre-powdered.
"heh, yeahhh but I'm used to cloth, and this is just cuter. plus I got you some adorable plastic pants." Kon chuckled, holding up a light base colored pair with rainbow sprinkles and teddy bears in diapers all over it.
Looking them over, Bart's face went shocked to curious while Kon swallowed, looking unsure/hopeful that Bart would like them.
As squeal escaped from Bart's mouth and he went all sparkle eyes, cooing and reaching up to hold them.
"They're so cuttttttte!" the worlds fastest little in the making gushed.
"heh, Glad you approve. they cost a pretty penny but figured you were worth it!" Kon said as Bart giggled and hugged the plastic pants, holding up and looking at them again then hugging them over and over. "uhhh buddy..I'm gonna need those back."
"...Pin my diapies up first." Bart said, giving a toothy grin.
"So clearly I'm gonna need to get you lots of teddies if we're gonna keep doing this huh?" Kon asked, tugging the cloth up and with expert ease getting the pins in and making sure the diapers were nice and tight.
Bart coo'ed and squeezed his thighs together, finding he couldn't get his legs to touch Kon had gone so thick but also finding he didn't mind at all, letting out a muffled poot and getting a raised eyebrow from Kon.
"Heh, you SURE you don't wanna go sit on the potty little man?" Kon asked, holding out his hand for the plastic pants.
"I'm good!" Bart giggled and gave the teddy bear plastic undies one last hug then handed them over.
Bart wasn't actually sure if Kon was gonna be able to slide the plastic pants over his puffy diapers, but though determination and the used of super steaght the deed was done, and Bart sat up on the bed and went to zip over to the mirror and see how he looked.
went, but didn't because the thickness though off the speedster and 4 steps in he ended up plopping on his butt, a adorable surprised look on his face as Kon chuckled and gushed.
"Awww! Babies first steps! wanna try again little man? I can help you if need me too." Kon coo'ed, coming over and leaning down holding out his hands.
Bart almost took the offer up, but then giggled and rolled over onto all fours, and showed that even reduced to crawling he was a quick widdle guy.
Honestly the sight of Bart crawling around in JUST his diapie and getting over to the mirror and coo'ing and giggling at how he looked was just too adorable, and if it hadn't of been for the agreement of no pictures Kon would of used up half a memory card already. he almost just let Bart keep posing in front of the mirror but they did only have SO long they could do this before Bart would have to go home, so he cleared his throat as he picked up a t-shirt he had a sneaking suspicion Bart was going to lover.. since it shared the same color and designs as the plastic pants.
"You don't mind if I finish getting you dressed do you?" Kon asked, a big grin on his face.
Bart turned to whine that this was good, then spotted the shirt and zipped over so fast Kon barely moved to the side in time to avoid being balled over and then Bart was on his knees reaching up and trying to grab the shirt.
"I want! I want!" he whined as Kon lifted it out of his reach.
"ah ah ah, Let me dress you little one..arm's up." Kon said.
Bart looked like he was gonna argue for a second (Kon figured he just wanted to hug the t-shirt like he had the pants) but then stuck his arms up in the air like a good little boy.
Sliding the t-shirt down and adjusting it, Kon wasn't really shocked when Bart crawled back over to the mirror to look at how cute he looked and giggle like a mad man.
His only regret in the whole thing was that originally it had been a teddy bear onesie Bart was meant to wear, but the company he had ordered from had messed up and there hadn't been time to fix the order. That and the company had forgotten to send the pacifiers Kon had ordered but at least his next order was going to be half off because of the mix ups.
'Oh well, always next time. sometime tells me I'm not gonna have a hard time convincing him to come back.' Kon thought.
Bart coo'ed and giggled and in a move that made Kon's heart melt, leaned in and kissed his reflection, something Kon had seen other toddlers do.
Moving from the bedroom Bart's tummy was rumbling lots though Kon had given up on asking him to use the potty, which was good because he didn't wanna lose any his new favorite outfit.
'Besides, I'm just hamming it up for Kon..I'm not really a widdle diaper boy..even if i am super duper kewt.' Bart thought, though he knew he was lying to himself.
there was no way he wasn't coming over and getting babied like at least ONCE a week from now on!
Sitting on a blanket on the floor he studied the baby toys Kon had gotten him, he was used to the toys of his time period and these were actually more fun to play with, though he kept nom'ing on some of the more brightly colored toys.
"Remind me to get you a teeth ring before next time." Kon chuckled, patting Bart's head.
"..That's a thing!? I want that!" Bart said excitedly.
"You sit here like a good boy while I go and make you a ba-ba, I don't want you getting all dehydrated." Kon chuckled, clearly not shocked by Bart's response.
"ok..but then a teething ring? Pleassssse?" Bart whined and tried the puppy dog eyes on his new semi daddy.
"Not today buddy. at least not right now." Kon said.
"Whyyyyyy?!" Bart whined and huffed
"Because you'd have to go shopping in your little outfit and it's mid day. Didn't think you'd wanna make this public." Kon pointed out and a muffled fart escaped as Bart blushed.
"Oh..yeah.. ehehehe..didn't think about that." he said sheepishly and rubbed the back of his head.
"I thought that might be the case. Apple juice or milk?" Kon said, chuckling lots at just how silly Bart was.
"Milk please. apple juice gives me the poops. trust me, you'll take me later." Bart said and giggled, blowing a raspberry.
"heh, So what your saying is if I want a super little present maker.." Kon said and winked, but then disappeared into the kitchen.
'..Why do I get the feeling I'm gonna regret telling him that?' Bart thought, but then had his attention drawn to a white and blue rattle with a teddy bear on the handle and started to shake it lots.
Kon had just finished making the ba-ba of milk, 3 percent, when a loud racket started to fill the apartment and he almost dropped the bottle, stumbling out and holding one hand to his left ear and the bottle in the other, he could see Bart had found the rattle and was playing with it..at super speed not aware of the racket he was making.
Not only was it loud enough to hurt Kon's super hearing, but the windows were vibrating and were seconds away from shattering.. all the while Bart was just looking at his rattle and shaking it unaware of the damage he was doing.
Coming over as fast as he could (he tried to yell and get Bart's attention but the noise was too much and Bart was off in his own little world) Kon got a hand over the rattle and stopped the noise.
"hey! what cha do that for!" Bart huffed.
"Buddy, you were shaking it at super speed and almost blew out my eardrums, as well as break my windows." Kon said.
"What? No I.." and Bart stopped and looked around, a few picture frames were cracked and things had been knocked around the room. "oh..Oh...Um.. Sowwy?" Bart said, gulping and giving a weak smile.
"...it's ok buddy. I didn't think about it when I gave you a toy like that. why don't I get rid of any noise makers while you drink up." Kon said.
he could see how bad Bart felt about it, but just like a parent with a real baby or toddler, he knew Bart hadn't known any better and like he had said, it was his own fault for leaving the toy there.
Getting rid of anything that made noise when it was shook Kon turned around to see Bart drinking his bottle, but with a few tears coming down his cheeks.
"Bart..it's Ok buddy. I'm NOT mad at you." Kon said, coming over and scooping up the big baby who tugged his ba-ba out of his mouth.
"I just..I was having fun and didn't..Please let me come back for more baby time!" Bart sniffled.
"Bart of course you can. I'll just have to be careful about toys I get you from now on." Kon said and kissed the whimpering big babies forehead, Taking a seat on the couch and taking the bottle from Bart and starting to feed him himself.
"Besides..now we know what to do next time some Parademons attack, get you two rattles then dive for cover." Kon teased getting a giggle out of the big baby.
Before the bottle was half drained two things started to happened, the first being Bart's eye lids started to droop and he was clearly falling asleep in Kon's big strong arms.
the second and less adorable for anyone with a super sense of smell was Bart started to poot up a storm.
'can't say i'm shocked, known he had to go for awhile now.' Kon thought and just put up with the smell.
he'd put up with worse stinks on the farm between the animals and changing Lon's diapers so it wasn't like Bart could be any worse right?
with his eyelids shut tight and Kon pulling the ba-ba from the big babies mouth, moving the sleeping boy up to burp him, Kon got his answer.
Between the massive budgle that was rapidly forming in the back of Bart's diapers with a series of gross sounding farts and the stink penetrating the whole apartment.. Bart was much, much worse.
'...being a daddy isn't all fun and games.' Kon thought, wrinkling his nose.
Still he made no move to get up and change Bart, worried about waking the little guy up.
'but I'll be damned if I'm gonna like a little..ok..BIG stinky diaper stop this!'
The end

HELP| IT ONE SHOT
Help/IT ONESHOT
Losers are 15 here, Bev came back from her aunts because i can, x reader
warnings: swear words, a bit heated and just Richie being richie, sorta fluff? plot twist, kinda short because I’m just trying to get out some writing. ok peace
Here I was sitting in Bill’s room, carelessly staring at him, I have a huuuge crush on Bill. He’s adorable, he has a great personality and he’s just so ughhhh 😍. I sat up from Bills bed, sitting criss cross apple sauce. “So Bill?” I look down at my legs. “Yes Y/n/n” Bill says almost immediately, my name flowing with the sweetness of his voice. Something about hearing him say my name makes me flustered.
“I was wondering, do you u-um like anyone?” I ask looking up at him. Bill looks off to the distance for a second. “I don’t know, maybe.” He shrugs a bit. “D-Do Y-you?” “Yea, he’s the most amazing boy I know.” I smile slightly. Bill smiles at my comment. “W-well who is the m-m-mystery boy?” He asks beaming happily. This is it. I’m going to admit my feelings to him. Little do I know, I wouldn’t be the only one who would decide to do this. Before I could say anything the doorbell rang, echoing through the whole house. “I-I’ll get it, but y-you’re telling me a-afterwards.” Bill giggled and winked, swarming my stomach with butterflies once again.
Bill went downstairs and I waited patiently, sitting on his bed, smiling and thinking. After 5 minutes I realized he was taking awhile. I got up from the bed and began walking down the hallway and down the stairs. I stop at the bottom of the stairs. “Hey Bill! What’s up it’s been taking awhi-“ I cut myself off seeing Bill and Beverly, lips locked, pull away. “O-oh.” I say lowly. “S-s-sorry, I didn’t mean to d-ditch you, this k-kinda just h-h-happened.” He blushed madly. Tears swell up in my eyes, I feel a lump in my throat. “N-no it’s fine Bill, I h-have to meet up with Richie at the arcade a-anyways” My voice cracks a bit. “A-are you o-okay?” Bill asks. “Yeah, you seem a bit upset Y/n/n?” Bev says worry In her eyes. “No, I’m fine, I really have to get going though, wouldnt wanna be late or Richie might kick my ass” I joke, faking a smile, running up the stairs, into bills room.
Of course he likes her, I don’t hate Bev, its the exact opposite. She’s sweet and funny, she’s soo beautiful, just the dream girl, perfect for any guy, I don’t exactly hate myself, but I’m obviously not enough for Bill. I grab my back quickly, wiping my cheeks and swallowing the lump in my throat. I go downstairs. “Bye guys” I say quickly before walking out the door, not even waiting for their goodbyes.
Time skip
“Tozier!” I exclaim, hugging him from behind. “Your day just got a thousand times better!” I giggled, trying to get the thought of Bill Denbrough out of my head. Richie turned around and faced me, looking down and grinning. “You bet it fucking did sweetheart.” I hugged him again, tightly, smiling into his chest. “I missed you Rich” I say. “I missed you too sweet cheeks.” He chuckled slightly. My smile died down as I pulled away from the hug. “You okay there y/n/n?” Richie bites his cheek slightly. When he says my nickname, its different from Bill, my name flows with the sweetness of his voice, meanwhile with Richie, My name just fits with his raspy voice, like a puzzle piece. “Y-yea I’m fine!” I fake a smile. “Don’t lie to me, I’ll beat your ass if you don’t tell me” Richie looks at me sternly. “F-fine.” My voice lowers.
“Bill” is all I can let out before I get the same lump in my throat. “Did he hurt you, I’ll beat him up, wh-what’d he do to you?” Richie’s eyes fill with worry. “No, not that. He, he kissed Beverly” I say lowly. He frowns looking into my eyes. “Your amazing doll and if he can’t see that, he’s fucking blind, Blinder than me. I need glasses and i can tell you’re beautiful Don’t be sad over a dumbass like him, I’d pick you over any girl any day.” Richie hugs me. “Thanks Rich.” I sigh slightly. “I just wish it were him who would pick me over any girl, you’re  my best friend, that’s different, obviously you would pick me.” Richie sighs lowly, biting his lip slightly, he looked hot with his lip tugged between his teeth,concentrated- ohfuckno, I did NOT just call Richie Tozier HOT. Okay maybe I’d be an idiot if I didn’t realize my best friend was cute, not only cute tremendously hot but I don’t like him, I’m just smart enough to know he’s got good looks. Richie put his hand under my chin, making me look up at him. “Then let’s make him jealous, show him what he’s missing, sound good doll?” He smirks, licking his lips slightly. I smile up at Richie. “Sounds great Rich, but how.” “Okay so you get a makeover right? Look like a whole art piece, not like you don’t already” Richie winks at me before continuing. “And follow my lead.” I nod and smile at him.
Time skip to a couple days later.
I rode my bike next to Richies. “are you sure this is gonna work?” i ask him. “Of course its gonna work, and if it doesn’t then its still a win, we get to pretend to date. I get to act like I’m with the most beautiful girl in the world and you get to act like your with me, the hottest and funniest guy ever.” Richie smirks. “yeah yeah” i roll my eyes, smiling. We pulled over by the quarry, about 2 feet away from everyone else. I got off my bike, laying it down next to a rock. “its way too hot out today, if we go in the water, there’s about 20 diseases we can get but if we stay in the sun, we could get heat strokes” Eddie rambles. “It’s hot out because of me and Y/n!” Richie exclaims. I roll my eyes again, this kid is something else. “shut up Richie” Stan groans. “Eddie we’ve been in the quarry billions of times and every time we come put fine, why are you still worried” i say, reassuringly. “you never know” He replies. “hes just making up excuses because hes too afraid to jump” Richie smirks. “whatever” Eddie says, going back to doing whatever. I look over to see Bill sitting on a rock, staring at me and Richie, i give him a small wave before turning around so i can undress, my swimsuit under my clothes. I watch Richie take off his shirt, his skin pale but slightly toned, he has slight abs which is confusing since the kid almost never works out. I eagerly take off my shirt and shorts/skirt, I feel eyes on me, i look over, seeing Richie looking me up and down. “eyes to yourself Tozier” I giggle. “Hey! I’m just admiring the beauty! Cant a guy look at his girlfriend!” Rich snaps. “girlfriend!?!” Everyone mutters from behind us, shocked. He winks at me. “called it!” Bev says. “its about time you two got together, the sexual tension is unbelievable” Sexual Tension? But there’s nothing between me and Rich, what is she talking about? This whole thing is fake. “Yeah seriously, I’m surprised you guys havent fucked by now” Stan says. What the hell are they talking about? But I’ve always liked Bill. Yeah, Me and Rich flirt all the time but there’s no feelings involved, right? I feel my cheeks burning, not from the sun either. Richie smirks, staring at me. “Who says we havent” He shrugs, the smirk staying on his face, as if it were glued there. “RICH!” I squeaked, my cheeks burning even more. “forget i ever said anything” Stanley gagged. “DO YOU GUYS NOT KNOW THE AMOUNT OF DISEASES-“ “yes we know, we know, and Richie is only joking” i roll my eyes. “Bill, you okay?” Ben asks. Rich winks and elbows me softly. “y-yea I’m fine” he replies. “you sure? You’ve been awfully quiet” Ben asks again. Richie nudges me again. I don’t wanna make Bill jealous anymore, what if this whole time, i only told myself that i like Bill to cover up the fact that i like Richie? No I’m just being stupid now, I’ve never liked Richie. Hes just my best friend and hes just helping me out, thats all. “i-I’m okay, l-l-lets just swim!” He says, smiling slightly.
Time skip
The whole time, me and Rich splashed each other and messed around, flirting a lot too. Richie dunked me under the water before pulling me back up, grabbing my waist, our bodies touching, our faces inches apart, his lower body brushed against my leg, holy shit, rich was hard. My face heated up, why is he hard, he doesn’t even like me.Just breathe, its probably just a teenage boy thing. His thumb rubbed circles on my bare waist, our faces inched closer, only about 2 inches away from eachother now, i felt his warm breath against my lips. This can’t be happening, worst part is I’m not stopping it. “RICH! Y/N! C’MON WE’RE GETTING OUT! WE’RE GONNA GET ICECREAM” One of the losers yelled. Me and Richie pulled away, both of us blushing, Richie blinked before swimming away. My face heated up thinking about what happened in the Quarry. Why’d I allow us to get that close. “H-hey Y-Y/n can i t-t-talk to you for a s-s-sec?” Bill asks. I look over at Richie, who sends me a smile. His eyes look sad, why would he be sad? This was his plan afterall.
I followed Bill into a small opening away from the losers. “I-i know I’m k-k-kinda later but i l-like you. It’s o-okay if y-y-you dont like me. i-i k-kn-know your with richie.” Bill admits. “actually I’m not with Richie, it was to make you jealous because i liked you but what about Beverly, I wouldn’t want you to lead her on, she obviously likes you” i say. “y-yeah i kn-know. the k-kiss happened o-o-out of nowhere. i t-t-told her I wasn’t s-sure of m-m-my feelings” He says. “w-wait...l-liked?” “yeah...i- i think i like Richie.” i say softly. “o-oh. okay..” Bill says. “he d-d-definitely likes you b-back. You sh-sh-should shoot your shot” i smile. “thanks Bill” “o-of c-course! G-g-good luck!” he says
I walk back over to Rich, who was trying to put on his shirt but was failing miserably, i giggled. He finally got on his shirt. “Jesus this damn thing hates me or something” He mutters, causing me to giggle again. “oh hey! sooo how’d it go with Bill” Richie smirks. “um...i actually rejected him” I say. Richies eyebrows furrowed, he frowned, but i could tell he was trying not to smirk. “why? i thought you liked him?” he asks. “Beverly likes him, it wouldnt be fair to her. aaaand I’m pretty sure i like someone else.” i say. “oOoOoO and who might that be” Richie smirks. I put my hands on his shirt, pulling him closer to me, connecting my lips with Richies. This was a Kiss waiting to happen, Richies eyes went wide but they soon relaxed as he put his hands on my waist, kissing me back. I pull away, out of breath. “does that tell you who i like?” i ask. “nah, i think you’re gonna have to try again.” Richie smirks. I roll my eyes smiling before connecting our lips once again. This kiss was much more rough and passionate, our lips glided against eachother, smoothly as if our lips were made for eachother, like puzzle pieces connecting. His tongue glided against my bottom lip, asking for entrance, i part my mouth slightly, Richie entering his tongue right away, exploring my mouth. The kiss got more heated and rough, both of us out of breathe but not wanting to pull away. “THATS DISGUSTING” Eddie yells. “hey lovebirds we’re gonna get icecream” Beverly chuckles. I pull away from Richie, panting. “we’ll catch up, i still have to put on my clothes” i say. The losers start to get on there bikes and talk amongst themselves. I grab my shirt and short/skirt putting it on quickly. “sucks those have to go back on” Richie winks. “RICH!” i squeak. “whaaat? I’m only telling the truth, I’d rather watch you in your swimsuit” he replies. I roll my eyes. “so...Wanna be my girlfriend?” Richie asks. “no because i just made out with you for no reason. Of course i wanna be your girlfriend Rich” i reply, he rolls his eyes smiling. “Now lets go before the losers forget about us!” i say hopping on my bike.

D for Arcade and Rory?
D. Subtle kindnesses.
--
“I’ll--I’ll catch up in a second, okay?” Rory panted, wiping the sweat from her brow as the hot Mojave sun beat down upon her and Arcade’s heads.
“You okay?” Arcade raised his eyebrows with concern. It was unusual for Rory to be unable to keep pace with him: even in the heat of the day, she never slowed them down.
“Yeah, I--” she struggled to catch her breath, “I’m--I’m just not feeling super well, that’s all.”
“Dehydrated?”
“Maybe. I dunno. Just--just lemme sit for a second.”
Rory’s face was visibly red as she lowered herself into the dirt, though the reason why wasn’t immediately clear. In fact, it was a trifecta: the desert heat, the embarrassment of being fussed over--and, unknown to either of them yet, a slowly creeping fever.
Despite the end of the world 200 years prior, viruses never got the message: though the population among which they spread was decimated, hygiene standards and medical care had taken a nosedive. Among the usual influenzas and common colds mutated any number of new and previously undiscovered viruses, and nobody was around to study or contain them.
Still, most of the ones that were easy to catch worked about the same: malaise, then fever, then a coinflip as to whether your next few days would be stricken by respiratory symptoms, digestive symptoms, or both.
All Rory knew for sure was that she felt like she was about to pass out, and so before she could make a fool of herself, she laid back in the sand.
“I’m sorry,” she murmured, her eyes closed, “I hate to hold us up. I’m--you’re right. I’m probably just dehydrated.”
“We’ll see about that,” murmured Arcade, growing suspicious as he rooted through his doctor’s bag for a thermometer.
“No. Seriously. Leave me alone,” she croaked, squinting with one eye open. “I hate being fussed over like that.”
“I’m not fussing,” Arcade replied shortly, “I’m--very literally--doing my job, here. Doctor? Remember?”
"You’re a researcher.”
“Yeah, well, they gave me a nifty little thermometer so I could research people’s temperatures, too. Open your mouth, please.”
When Rory finally relented and allowed him to take her temperature, her heart sank as she heard the all-too-familiar “fever” alarm sounding from the device, piercing her ears in a series of sharp, staccato beeps that seemed to project through a megaphone right next to her head.
“We’ve been walking in the sun, you know,” she murmured, “That’s--that’s probably what that is.”
“That’s probably what a hundred degrees of that is, yeah,” Arcade nodded, “But the next three and a half mean we’re not going anywhere for a while. Look,” he insisted as Rory opened her mouth to protest, “If you’re right and you’re just heat exhausted, it’ll relent in a little bit, and we can keep going once you’ve cooled off. If you’re not, we’ll set up camp and let you rest. Either way, we’re not moving right now, so you’d better settle down.”
Though the desert cooled as the sun set, Rory’s temperature did not: soon, she was gripped by intense, convulsive chills.
She grew more gravely ill in the coming days--but more than anything, she was embarrassed. She hated being taken care of, and hated being sick. She even hated being afraid.
Arcade knew this about her (and most everything else)--and so, by and large, he let her be. He remained calm, and helped her with the same care he would have for any of his patients back at the Old Mormon Fort: clinical, but not cold.
He did not let her absorb any of the terror he felt, but a million thoughts raced through his head every time he returned to check her temperature and found it still hovered around 103, every time her breathing grew shallow, and every time she was slow to wake up. He wondered if she had a previously unknown virus, the effects of which would not be fully visible for months.
He even feared, in darker moments, that he would have to bury his best friend in the middle of the desert and return to Freeside alone.
He was a nervous wreck--but never, once, did he let it show on his face. He steadied his anxious hands so that they would not shake before giving her the thermometer; he kept his tone of voice even, free from anxiety or coddling.
Rory’s confidence helped to keep Arcade calm, and keep his mind off his anxieties: no matter how dire her temperature was, or how grey or red with malnutrition and malaise her complexion turned, she remained calm, accepting Arcade’s help with minimal protest.
As luck and good medical care would have it, Rory’s fever broke on the fifth day.
As she roused herself from a nap, drenched in cooling sweat, she tapped Arcade’s foot to get his attention.
“Hey--hey,” she said softly as he turned around, “I’m pretty sure I’m over whatever this is. I’m--I’m really feeling better, actually.”
“Let me check,” Arcade said, an anxious, anticipatory flutter rising in his chest as he readied the thermometer once more.
98.9, it read.
Despite the front he’d put on for the last five days, the relief he felt was so overwhelming that the sigh it forced from his lips nearly brought him to his knees. “That’s great news,” he said, unable to keep a delirious grin from his lips.
“Yeah,” Rory laughed, reaching for a drink of water, “It really is. Hey. Thanks for, uh, not making such a big deal out of it. I really--I mean, I really appreciate it.”
“Oh, I knew you’d be alright,” Arcade lied, waving his hand dismissively.
“No, I mean, like--that was a lot kinder than maybe you realize. I just...I dunno. I have this thing...whenever I’m sick...if people freak out on me? Or treat me like a baby? I’ll act like one. I get...I get so scared, dude. It’s like an obsession or something. I start--I start just overanalyzing every little sensation, everything...and I feel like it makes me sick for longer, you know?”
“I understand that,” Arcade nodded, as his heartrate slowed from his adrenaline rush, “I do. Were you--were you scared?”
“Nah,” Rory lied, sipping her water, “I knew I’d be alright.”

Venom 2 Trailer Breakdown – All the Marvel and Carnage References
https://ift.tt/eA8V8J
Folks, we live in interesting times. We just received a trailer for Venom: Let There Be Carnage, the sequel to the surprise 2018 hit Venom, starring Tom Hardy, Tom Hardy, and a whole lot of people who weren’t trying nearly as hard as Tom Hardy. This sequel brings in Woody Harrelson as Broadway star Carnage about 30 years after his comic book debut.
Seriously, though. Carnage appeared in a Broadway musical ten years before he got to be in the movies. I’ll never get over that.
If you haven’t watched the crazy trailer yet, press pause on your Green Jelly CD and check this out.
What can we gather from this trailer?
THE RETURN OF THE BROMANCE
The Venom symbiote has become more acclimated to life on Earth, going so far as learning at least a little Chinese and getting into cooking. If that’s what you call it. Eddie Brock simply has to endure it best he can.
Fun fact: the 2004 comic book miniseries Venom vs. Carnage (by Peter Milligan and Clayton Crain) was the first time anyone’s played with the fun concept of a symbiote and its host acting like an old married couple. In that comic, a delightful scene had Cletus Kasady ironing his shirt while having a lovers’ spat with his symbiote.
Also, while Venom’s love for chocolate was hinted at at the end of the first movie, the two-in-one vigilante is more adamant about it this time around. During the character’s ’90s antihero run, it was explained that there’s a chemical in both chocolate and brain matter that the symbiote needs to thrive. Eating chocolate keeps Venom from wanting to eat brains.
Anyway, chipper Venom gives me life.
CARNAGE IS HERE
Continuing from where the last movie left off, Cletus Kasady is locked up and will only confide in Eddie Brock. While we’re left wondering how we get from point A to point B with Cletus becoming a symbiote host, we at least dive straight into the big hero/villain cliché about how similar they are.
Director Andy Serkis goes into more detail on this with some trailer commentary: “They both had strange upbringings with strange relationships with their parents and their families. And there’s an inherent loneliness that they both recognize in each other. Cletus actually reaches out and will only speak to Eddie Brock. That’s at the beginning of the story, we learned that he’s the only one he’ll speak to. And the cops, therefore, want Eddie to go in and investigate and try and discover where some of the bodies, some of the many bodies of Cletus’s victims are.”
I miss his Sideshow Bob wig.
SHRIEK HAS ARRIVED
Naomie Harris is shown as an inmate at Ravencroft, an asylum regularly used in Marvel Comics. She appears to be portraying Frances Barrison, otherwise known as Shriek.
Introduced in the Maximum Carnage story, Shriek was created to be a love interest for Carnage. The Mallory to his Mickey, if you will. In the comics, she’s a mutant with powers allowing her to fly, shoot sonic blasts, and darken people’s personalities.
The abusive couple have teamed up various times, most notably in Maximum Carnage where they were joined by the Spider Doppelganger, Demogoblin, and Carrion. The former (a six-armed monster version of Spider-Man) is the only one of the three with any real staying power, usually being treated by Shriek as either her child or her dog.
ANNE WEYING IS STILL AROUND
Michelle Williams returns as Anne Weying, Eddie’s former fiancée. The last movie ended with Venom (and Stan Lee) insisting Eddie would win her back. She’s last been seen with a supportive and successful boyfriend and Eddie’s personal life is still kind of a mess. It will take a lot to get Anne to go back to Eddie the way things are.
Besides, she probably wouldn’t enjoy finding out that he lied to her about Venom’s survival. Screwing with her trust is what got Eddie into this mess in the first place.
DETECTIVE MULLIGAN
Patrick Mulligan. Now that’s a deep cut. Remember earlier when I was talking about the miniseries Venom vs. Carnage? Said story was about introducing Toxin, the spawn of Carnage. Officer Mulligan became the host for the newly-born creature. With that origin story and a six-issue miniseries from the mid-00s, Mulligan tried to train his symbiote, which meant well, but was violent and naïve about how the world works.
Really, the Toxin miniseries is the blueprint for Eddie and Venom’s cinematic relationship. Too bad Mulligan was presumably killed off-panel so they could move the Toxin symbiote onto different hosts, including Eddie himself for a time.
Now that I think about it, the closest thing Toxin had to an arch-nemesis was Razor Fist. The same Razor Fist that will show up in Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. See? Now their war lives on on another battlefield.
THE DAILY BUGLE AND…THE AVENGERS?
We have another article discussing how this brief moment in the trailer decides whether or not the Venom movies take place in the MCU. After all, this shot of Mulligan reading The Daily Bugle shows it as a newspaper, which doesn’t really line up with how it’s portrayed in the MCU.
There is an interesting wrinkle in this, though. When Mulligan angrily crushes the newspaper, there’s a very, very brief look at a headline from inside the paper. The two words visible seem to say “AVENGERS” and “NIGHTMARE.” Possibly “AVENGERS LEVEL NIGHTMARE.”
This could be nothing more than an Easter egg, but considering Morbius is supposed to take place in the MCU due to Vulture showing up in the trailer and Morbius is apparently part of the “Venomverse,” I guess we can just say that the Venom movies aren’t part of the MCU…until they are.
Speaking of Easter eggs, notice the wanted poster for E. Larson. Erik Larsen is the comic artist credited for giving Venom the gnarly face of fangs with gross tongue.
VENOM’S KATANA?
There’s one shot where Venom’s carrying something and…it looks like it’s a katana? What in the hell?
cnx.cmd.push(function() { cnx({ playerId: "106e33c0-3911-473c-b599-b1426db57530", }).render("0270c398a82f44f49c23c16122516796"); });
I mean, I’m absolutely for it, but it’s not like Venom’s really known for going all Samurai Jack (he’s more Aku, really). This is like when Juggernaut had a bazooka in that Konami X-Men arcade game. He really didn’t need it, but we’re better for it!

Two Night Stand
Summary: Touka woke up naked in a house belonging to a stranger named Haise and found herself stuck with him for the next 24 hours due to a snowstorm. How will they spend the time?
Word count: 7807
Rating: Mature
Genre: Alternate Universe - Human
Notes: WARNING MATURE THEMES. NO SMUT, BUT IMPLIED! READ AT YOUR RISK.
Waking up with a groan, Haise rose from the bed and winced as his eyes tried to adjust to the brightness of his room. It was only morning and his head hurt like hell. He felt some rustling of the bedsheets and blankets and looked to his side. What the..?
A woman with violet hair, bangs covering one side of her face sat up in bed and stared at him with equal shock.
"Who the hell are you?" She asked.
"Uh—"
From her naked shoulders, his eyes strayed down to her exposed torso. He quickly tossed the blanket at her, face flushed red. "First, cover up!" He exclaimed, trying his best to exercise his gentleman trait and looked away.
She didn't catch the blanket in time and it hit her head. "What the?!" Looking down at her naked body, realization struck her that she was completely naked in a stranger's bed and he was just trying to be considerate, not rude. Cheeks burning, she wrapped herself with the blanket and looked around the room to find her clothes strewn all over the floor.
Touka raised her head and caught a glimpse of his backside as he pulled up his banana boxers. She stifled a giggle at the ridiculous design and couldn't help but let out her thoughts. "That's a silly design for underwear."
He looked at her with shock and astonishment. "Don't laugh! This boxer with bananas is my favorite design!"
The woman laughed and he could only stand there and burn in embarrassment because she was making fun of his boxers. The laughter finally ceased and then a loud rumble filled the room. The female flushed, hands going to rest over her stomach.
It was his turn to laugh and she reacted by throwing a pillow angrily at him. Even so, he laughed until his tears fell.
"Nice to meet you, I'm Sasaki Haise. What's your name?" He leaned over and put out his hand.
Cheeks blushing, she shook his hand. "Kirishima Touka."
What was this situation? They were shaking hands and introducing themselves when they were both partially or fully naked. Touka wanted to laugh.
He put on his pants and shirt. "Let's get changed and have some lunch. Then, we can talk, alright?"
Her stomach growled in agreement.
After putting their clothes in the washing machine and changing into a new set of clothes, Touka sat at the dining table with a hot cup of coffee in front of her. She noted the heavy snow outside the window and shivered. No wonder it was cold. Sipping her coffee, she sighed, grateful how a warm beverage, plus a painkiller, brought her back to life.
"Is omelet rice okay for you?" He asked.
"Yeah."
Touka watched how he cooked from behind and marveled at the broad shoulders he had. He must work out a lot to get those wide shoulders and biceps. It was slight, but they strained against his white shirt and she snapped out of her trance when he walked towards her with 2 plates of rice and put it down on the table.
They ate in awkward silence. Putting the dishes away once they were done, they sat facing one another.
"Okay.  Let's take some time to remember what happened last night to lead to what's happening right now." Haise said.
-Flashback-
Haise winced at the loud music in the nightclub and the moving rainbow spotlights that blinded his eyes. Everywhere he walked, there were people dancing, shouting and laughing. He questioned his decision in following his best friend to this shady place, where he could be at home right now reading a good book with a good cup of coffee.
As Hide had quoted, "You work too much, Haise! You need to get out and get a life! Get a girl or two!"
Not wanting to dance nor socialize with anyone, he ended up sitting at the bar alone while Hide went somewhere with a blonde-haired woman. He ordered a whiskey and sighed heavily as he stared down at his drink, thinking of excuses to give Hide so he could go home.
"Party pooper much? Everyone's out there having fun while you're sighing here."
He turned to the lady beside him and squinted his eyes to observe her features. He couldn't tell what color her hair and eyes were from the dark environment, but he knew they were dark. Her bangs covered one side of her face and she had the most amused look in her eyes.
Despite being the absolute gentleman in every way, he was in no mood for games.
"Says the one who's sitting at the bar alone. What's a pretty girl like you doing alone?" He asked, sipping his drink.
She laughed—a sound too soft because of the booming music. "Touché. My friend dragged me here without my consent so here I am, alone. Would the lonely gentleman treat me to a drink?" Her eyes narrowed seductively.
One end of his lips quirked. He knew she was flirting with him and bought her a drink anyway. Her eyes watched how she put her pink lips to the glass and drank, the drink going down her slim throat. "Name's Touka, what's yours?"
"Haise."
The rest was history, as they got completely drunk, took a cab back to his house and slept with one another drunkenly.
-Flashback Over-
Their faces paled as the memory returned to them and they bowed their heads in embarrassment.
"I shouldn't have drunk that much alcohol. I don't know what happened to me that night. I rarely even drink." Touka groaned.
Haise sighed. "Me neither... so we actually did it? A one night stand?"
She hesitated. "..I don't remember a thing."
"Me neither."
Silence filled them and Touka shifted uncomfortably because she just lied to his face. The truth is, she just remembered the sex they had last night, but only vaguely. They were in bed, and she recalled him being atop her,  his cheeks red, face twisting in pleasure as he moved above her. She couldn't remember whether the sex was good or anything else for that matter until she woke up in his bed this morning.
"Well, this is awkward. Can we just put this behind us and pretend nothing happened? It was just one night, no commitment or anything right?" Touka asked nervously.
"Y-yeah, we should."
Another beat of silence fell over them.
Touka stood up and grabbed her clothes. "Alright, it was nice meeting you and I should be going now."
"Ah sure." Haise stood up as well, guiding her to his main entrance and opened the door for her like a gentleman. He smiled. "See you."
She smiled and thanked him before stepping out. The door closed behind her and she shivered at the cold air. Putting on her coat, she left the building and found herself stopping because the snow from the previous night piled up too high until it reached her knees.
She noticed how weird it was when there wasn't a single car nor bus moving on the streets and no one was outside. The wind was blowing too strongly, with the snow falling against her face and she sneezed. It's too cold!
Suddenly, she heard Haise calling for her from behind.
"Wait! It's a snowstorm outside! The news said transport isn't working! You need to come back inside and see the news!" Haise panted.
The door shut behind them and they ran to the living room, where the television was announcing that the snowstorm was expected to last for the whole of today and if things become better, transport will be resumed the next morning. Thankfully, it was only Saturday and they didn't have work.
Touka fidgeted and felt weird to ask a stranger—whom she had slept with—for a favor and found it difficult to meet his eyes. "..do you mind letting me stay at your house at least until the snow lets up?"
She didn't expect his face to brighten, and a grin to grace his lips. "Sure! It's been since I've had someone else over at my house. I'm so excited!"
"R-right... do you think I could get a shower first? I... feel sticky." She trailed off, cheeks burning.
Realizing why she was sticky, his cheeks warmed. The previous night, they had done unspeakable things. "Y-yeah, sure. I'll grab a towel and guide you to the bathroom."
Feeling refreshed after a warm bath, she sighed in relief and wrapped her hair up in a towel. She noticed Haise sitting on his bed awkwardly and nudged him. "You should take a bath too."
"Um sure, you can watch some television if you're bored. I have books also if you're into reading. I'll be back real quick!"
He grabbed his clothes and disappeared into the toilet. She found herself chuckling. He was acting so nervous in front of someone he had already slept with. Well, she couldn't blame him, it was weird for a night stand relationship to be extended. It usually just ends with one night, hence the term 'one-night stand'.
But since they were going to be stuck with each other for another day, she thought why not just try getting along with him? It's better than ignoring each other for the whole day.
"So um, do you have anything we can do to kill the time? You know since we're stuck until the transport is back up?" Touka asked, shoving her hands into the pockets of the sweatpants that he lent her. His clothes looked oversized on her but she couldn't complain, it was the only clothes available.
Haise pondered. "Well... I have a pool table, a Wii and XBOX console, a foosball table and some movies we can watch. Which do you want to do first?"
She stared jaw open, dumbfounded at what he had just said. "Excuse me? Aside from the movies and Wii and Xbox, why do you have a foosball and pool table? Your place feels like an arcade.."
He laughed, a sweet melody to her ears. "My best friend always comes over to my house and he likes these games so I bought them so we can play whenever he was over. We split the money anyways. Personally, I just read my books. So which one?" He looked expectantly at her for her answer.
"You rich as hell." She mumbled and his eyes crinkled at her comment. "Let's play Xbox and Wii?"
"Okay."
Touka looked through the selection of games; soccer, music, simulation, mystery, horror and chose fighting. Settling beside each other on the couch, she crossed her legs and leaned forward.
"Alright, I'll win this!" She exclaimed and they proceeded to battle it out with their chosen characters.
Haise found himself extremely amused at how she was so engrossed in the game and still can make lots of reaction while she was still playing, like 'shit' or 'no' or 'damn' or 'you're going down'. Despite all the sounds that come out of her, she still lost all 3 rounds against him.
She glared at him at the end and he shrugged—trying to hide his amusement. "I play these all the time, what do you expect? Do you want me to go easy on you?"
At his suggestion, her eyes hardened and she searched through the other games. "Let's play another game. I don't believe I can't beat you in any of the others!"
With what pretty appearance she had on the outside, he was surprised to find that she had a competitive trait inside. He rarely saw that in a woman and he was very interested to find out more about this woman whom he was going to spend the remaining day with.
Touka sighed heavily and dropped herself against the couch. She wanted to melt into the couch and never surface again. "I can't believe I lost all of the games! There's a limit to how good you can be at games!" She groaned.
He laughed. "I told you I can go easy on you but you didn't want me to."
She punched his arm. "No! I hate it when people do that! It's like they're looking down on me!"
"Then don't complain~"
Deep down, he wondered why he was acting so friendly and open with her. Was it because they were stuck together or because they had already slept together? Either way, even though they were just strangers and not a couple, he felt more comfortable with her than he did with actual girlfriends in the past—where he had to hold back his thoughts and words—despite knowing each other for only one night plus a few hours.
"Next game. Pool."
"So uh, tell me, Touka. Why were you at the night club that night?" Haise asked, adjusting all of the balls into the middle of the pool table before hitting them, making them spread all over the table.
Touka's eyes traced how he leaned over, positioned the stick in his hands and shot the ball into the hole with extreme accuracy and speed. "Well... I had just broken up with my boyfriend of 2 years and was feeling down. My friend brought me out to cheer me up."
"..sorry to hear that. Did you have fun?"
"Don't be. It isn't your fault that we broke up. He cheated on me, so I broke up with him. And yes, I had fun, thanks to you."
His smile didn't reach his eyes as he focused on the earlier part of her reply. Her boyfriend cheated on her. "..do you want to talk about your ex-boyfriend? I mean, we're stuck together for the next 24 hours, so the least I can do is lend a listening ear."
She smiled sadly. "Thanks, maybe at a later time."
He nodded and changed the topic. "Shall we do a quiz? We'll each state a topic or question and we answer at the same time. That way, we can get to know each other better."
Touka shrugged. "Sure, why not?"
He was 27, she was 26. He liked romance movies, while she liked action and horror. His favorite food is omelet rice and hers is beef rice bowl. He is an insurance agent and she is a physiotherapist. His hobbies were reading and cooking, her hobbies were listening to hard metal music and doing sports.
They exchanged playful talks over what they liked and disliked and all too soon, the pool game was over, leaving Touka pissed and unsatisfied.
"Why?!!!" She exclaimed and groaned. "I'm losing to you every time!!!"
Haise laughed. "I've been watching how you played for this game and now I know what are your faults. Let's play again, I'll teach you."
She sighed. "Fine..."
After setting the balls in the triangle in the middle, Touka took her stick and stared at him. "First, show me how you lean over to shoot the balls." He instructed and tried not to check out her butt as she leaned over and focused on her form.
Touka felt his body mold over hers, his hand taking her arm to properly position it the right angle and way, and his breath was warm in her ear. "Your arm needs to be further from your head and your fingers should be like this." His hand covered hers, forming it to the position that guaranteed a win but somehow she could only think about how his body felt comfortably against hers and how warm it was.
Together, they used the stick to hit the ball and Touka watched as it went into the hole. Standing up straight, she turned to him who had a huge grin on his face. "You did it!"
She found herself smiling as well and had a huge urge to tease him. "Don't tell me you purposely taught me that way just so you can feel me up?"
He blinked, and a full-blown blush formed on his cheeks and even his ears. "No! I just—I had good intentions! You saw how the ball went in!
She laughed and he stared, mesmerized at her laughter.  Wiping her tears away, she shoved him playfully with a grin. "I'm just joking, don't be so serious about it."
"Why would I need to feel you up when we've already done it last night..." he looked away, murmuring.
Now, she flushed. A sudden image of him reaching for her flashed in her mind. "You remembered what happened last night?"
His eyes widened. "No, I still don't remember. Do you?"
"..a little bit."
He started toward her, curious. "What do you remember?"
She flushed. "Don't ask me."
"Why? I want to know because I don't remember anything."
"It's embarrassing..."
"Just tell me."
She fidgeted. "I only remember how you were atop me and your naked chest, okay?!"
He came close to her and cupped her cheek. He had a beautiful pair of grey eyes that were hidden under his long eyelashes. "You're cute when you're shy."
The once friendly atmosphere changed into an intimately charged one. They were two adults, man, and woman, alone in the house, standing so close to one another that they could feel each other's body heat.
Her heart raced in her chest as she looked up at his handsome face and turned away. Why the hell was she having thoughts about this man being handsome when she's only known him for a night? She had just broken up with her boyfriend of 2 years for god's sake!
Haise's lips parted and the hand that was on her cheek moved to rest on his nape. "S-sorry, I shouldn't have done that."
"..It's fine. Let's continue with the game."
Despite getting better at each game they played, Touka still couldn't win him, not because of her skills—she actually was a quick learner—but because she was too distracted by what had happened between them earlier.
She tried so hard to forget his touch but she couldn't remember the last time her ex-boyfriend had touched so gently and gazed at her that way, as Haise did. Tears brimmed in her eyes and she blinked them away.
Haise stared down at his hand and remembered how her skin flushed pink when he touched her. Thinking back, he could sense that she was thinking about the same thing he was and can't help but want to fill in the gaps of what happened between them in bed the previous night.
They ignored what transpired between them and continued playing games and chatting with each other as if they had been friends for 10 years. The inexistence of awkward moments made it feel like they didn't just meet the previous night.
Even over dinner, Touka felt herself slowly opening to Haise even though she normally didn't hit it off that well with strangers. Having shared one night and half the day with him, she felt comfortable with him and spoke to him like she would with her best friend. For the first time in ages, she felt happy that she was able to have someone other than Yoriko to speak with so frankly and comfortably with.
But even if she felt that way with Haise, spilling every detail about her life with him, she was careful to not touch on the topic of her ex-boyfriend because she didn't think she was ready to talk about it.
After dinner, they decided to watch movies.
"What? No! I don't want a romance movie! What's so interesting about them? There's no action, nothing! I want to watch an action movie!" Touka exclaimed.
Haise gasped in shock, astonished and offended by her comment about his favorite movie genre. "Excuse me!! Romance movies are interesting! They always start off with the 2 parties being strangers, slowly getting to know each other until the climax hits them when they finally realized that they love one another! That's the romantic and interesting part! How dare you say there's nothing interesting about it! You're just saying that 'cause you've never watched one!"
She scoffed. "I've watched one and I didn't like it. Romance movies are for babies and those who want to see happily ever after that won't happen in reality."
Silence filled the air as she cursed herself for speaking more than necessary. Her words were obviously directed to her own relationship which didn't end well.
Thankfully, he didn't ask about the reason she said those words and suggested, "how about this? I'll watch with an action movie with you, and you'll watch a romance movie with me. That way, it'll be fair for both of us. Good?"
"..okay," Touka shrugged, not completely happy with his suggestion but didn't argue.
The action movie was dusted and done, with a huge grin appearing on Touka's face when he told her he enjoyed it. The next was a romance movie. It was only until it ended with a happy ending (thankfully) and he turned it off that he saw how she had her head down in the knees she pulled up.
Worried, he shook her. "Are you okay?"
She looked at him for a second, where he saw the tears in her eyes and she ran to the kitchen to get a cup of water. "I'm fine."
Though her back was toward him and trying to hold her sounds in, he could tell that she was shaking from her crying. Immense regret filled him as he realized he shouldn't have insisted on a romance movie when she had just broken up with her boyfriend. He was horribly tactless.
He walked towards her and gently tugged her so she faced him. Cupping her cheek, he tilted it so they met eyes. "Hey... if this is about the movie, I'm sorry I chose a show that you didn't enjoy. If this is about your ex-boyfriend...I'm here if you want to talk..."
Her lips trembled as more tears fell down her lovely blue eyes. "It's just...I used to believe in happy endings, where a relationship led to a wedding and happily ever after. I was really expecting Haruki to propose to me since we've been dating for quite some time. But I knew something was up when he started distancing himself from me and how he always postponed our dates, saying that he had work... I should have seen it coming but I believed in him. When I saw him at his home fucking another woman, it became clear that he had been cheating on me with her for a long time now. I broke up with him because I didn't think I could take any more of that."
Haise wiped her falling tears and his heart ached for her. No one deserved to see their loved one cheating with their own eyes. His mind could only come up with one sentence.
"If I were your boyfriend, I would never make you cry."
She stared up at him with wide eyes and he stepped back after realizing that he had just said his inner thoughts out loud. He dropped his hands to his sides and panicked. "I-I'm sorry, I didn't—"
The ends of her lips turned up into a smile and she wiped a stray tear. "You're a nice person, aren't you? Thank you for saying that. I appreciate it, even though you may not mean it."
"That's not—I do mean those words!"
She only smiled in response and he knew she didn't believe him.
"Can I then take advantage of your kindness and ask you for a favor?"
"As long as it's within my abilities, I will do it."
He was willing to do anything to help her. He just didn't want to see her miserable anymore. Anything to make her stop crying.
"Kiss me."
He hesitated before cupping her cheek and leaning forward until his bangs tickled her face.
"..are you sure?"
She nodded. "Please."
His arms came around her in an embrace and her heart raced in her chest. His lips rested gently on hers and her eyes fluttered shut. Parting her lips slightly, she allowed him to deepen their kiss but he didn't. He never ventured into her mouth, only gently sucking on her lips.
Caressing his cheek, Touka smiled. "You're sweet."
"Why do you say that?" He asked, genuinely puzzled.
"Because you didn't do anything I didn't want. Even if I gave my permission, you didn't give it to me. I wanted to ask you to give me hard and hot sex, but I'm sure you wouldn't give it to me, would you?" She joked.
His cheeks flushed red. "No, I wouldn't. No woman deserves to get that, especially not you, because you don't deserve just sex, you deserve making love with feelings. I mean... unless the woman has specific hobbies in bed..." he trailed off.
"Are you just saying that because I broke up with my boyfriend?"
"No. I'm saying because it's you."
His words warmed her. She wished she could have met him before Haruki. He seemed like a good man who would take care of her. But then again, Haruki seemed that man at that time. People change over time.
"Then, would you give it to me? Make love to me, with feelings?"
He hesitated. "I...I don't think I should even if you asked. It's not the right gentlemanly thing to do as your feelings are not in order after a breakup... You're upset and you're making decisions that you may regret after."
She rested her head on his chest. "I promise you I won't regret it. Please."
He swallowed and seemed to struggle with his feelings for a while before taking her hand into his. "Let's go to my room."
— After —
Pulling Touka into his arms, Haise pressed a kiss to her sweaty forehead and tucked a stray hair behind her ear. "Are you okay?" He asked, concerned.
His sweet gesture and words brought tears to her eyes and he immediately panicked. "I'm sorry! I didn't know I was that bad in bed, did it hurt—"
She held his hand to her cheek and smiled. "You were great. It was everything I dreamt of. I feel so happy that you touched me so gently as if I was beautiful and worth it."
His gaze softened. "That's because you are. You deserve better than Haruki."
A sad smile formed on her face. "I guess that's true. Can I ask you for another favor? I promise it isn't that bad."
"What is it?"
"For the remaining time until I leave, will you treat me as your real girlfriend? I just want to be feel loved..."
Haise couldn't refuse the sorrow and loneliness in her eyes and kissed her. "And love you shall get... I accept your request."
--
"I'm sure a handsome guy like you have had girlfriends before. Tell me about them." Touka said, fingers tracing circles on his chest.
"I'm not handsome—"
Touka laughed. "Don't lie! You are!"
He grinned, happy that he made her laugh. She seems happier now. "Alright, in your eyes, I am, but believe it or not, I've only ever had 2 girlfriends."
"No way! Why?"
Haise shrugged. "I was busy with work previously and had no time for relationships."
"Did you love them?"
She was holding her breath for his answer.
"I would like to think I did. But in the end, when we broke up, strangely I didn't feel sad that it was over. Maybe I didn't love them as much as I thought. Thinking back, I should have spent more time with them. Maybe then, the relationship would have worked out. But it's too late to have regrets now anyway."
It was his words but Touka could see the sadness in his eyes. He probably said it to hide his feelings and make her feel better. She wouldn't have touched on this topic if she knew how sad it would make him. Her heart ached, and she didn't like seeing him unhappy.
She raised herself so he was beneath her, his wide eyes staring up at her, and she moved to kiss him. His arms wrapped around her waist as he kissed the column of her neck, making her sigh and she hoped that this would be enough to make him forget, just as he had made her forget about her sadness when they made love earlier on.
The first time they did it, it was filled with only warmth and gentleness. This second time, it felt raw and emotional, as if they were pouring out all of their sadness and feelings.
When it was all over, Haise frowned at the sweat that fell down his temples and turned to her. "I think I need a shower."
Touka sighed with a smile. "I do too."
Jumping out of bed, he pulled up his boxers and rushed over to catch her before she toppled to the floor with her wobbly legs. Grabbing his body tightly, she gave him an embarrassed smile. "I should have known that I won't be able to walk properly right after."
He grinned, showing his white teeth. "I'll help you to the bathroom. Do you need to put on your underwear?"
She glanced over at her underwear scattered all over the floor and shook her head. "Nope, gonna take them off in the shower later anyways."
--
After helping one another in washing hair and bodies, they settled comfortably into the bathtub with Touka's back against Haise's chest.
"..Do you feel better now? I mean, you seemed pretty sad when you talked about your ex-girlfriends." She asked, staring at the ripple of water in front of her.
He winced. "You noticed that? I was just trying to make sure my feelings didn't burden you, what with you having just broken up with your boyfriend."
Turning around, the water sloshed in the tub as she raised her hands to cup his cheeks. "You don't have to do that, you know. We've been together for the last 12 hours or so, and even seen each other naked already so I don't think there's much we can hide. Talk to me, just like how I confided in you."
He smiled and kissed her. "I will, thank you."
--
Haise stared at the sleeping beauty in his bed wearing his clothes and pushed her bangs aside, only to be amused when it fell back down to cover her face. She had long eyelashes, a small nose, and tempting pink lips.
It isn't surprising at this point, because he must have realized it earlier on that within a span of 12 hours, he had fallen in love with Touka. It probably started when she woke up in his bed with bed hair and further strengthened when she told him about her breakup. From there, the strong urge of wanting to do anything to make her happy blossomed into feelings of love.
He felt that he could make her happy. Staring at her now, he saw a future with her. Them laughing together, cuddling on cold nights, sharing a bed, doing house chores together, a ring on her fourth finger, a wedding with loved ones, and children. Greedily, even though he knew she was suffering now, he wanted all of that with her.
He took a few more moments to carve her face into memory since she was leaving tomorrow before falling asleep himself.
--
When it's time to leave the next morning, they stand at the door facing one another.
"Shall I send you to the train station?" Haise offered.
Touka smiled. "It's okay, I can walk. You've done so many things for me already. Thank you for your offer though."
Awkwardness filled the room now.
He struggled with whether he should tell her his feelings or not and decided it's now or never. After this, he'll probably never see her again. Gathering his courage, he closed his hands into fists and opened his mouth. "I like you, Touka. Will you be my girlfriend? For real? I know you still have feelings for Haruki but I'm willing to wait for as long as it takes. Even if you never stop loving him, I'm willing to be number 2 in your heart."
He waited expectantly for her answer and her heart broke when she already knew what she was going to say to him. "I appreciate your feelings, Haise, but there was never going to be something that comes out of this two-night stand. Yes, I still love Haruki and you don't deserve someone who can't cherish you properly. You need to find someone who can love you 100% and I can't be that person. I'm sorry."
Haise deflated and forced a smile. "I-I understand. Then, I wish you all the best in everything you do. I hope the next time I see you somewhere, you're happy. Thank you for the time we spent together. It was the most fun."
The most fun I'll probably have for the rest of my life.
She smiled. "Thank you. I had the most fun as well."
Silence.
He stepped forward. "C-can I kiss you one last time? A goodbye kiss?"
"Okay."
Cupping her cheeks, he kissed her and took this moment to edge into his memory the softness and strawberry taste of her lips, and the warmth of her body against his. He swore to never forget this ever.
It was a bittersweet kiss and both knew that the moment they separated, it would mean the end of their relationship and that they would never see each other again.
They separated and he quickly pulled her into a hug. "A goodbye hug," he murmured as he squeezed her tight.
Despite not wanting it to end, Touka had to put an end to it. She felt extremely emotional that she had to leave someone who made her feel comfortable to be around with and she would cry if she stayed any longer. "Okay. Then, it's goodbye."
Haise watched her give him a last smile before closing the door behind her. He dropped onto the bed, looked at the indent on his bed that Touka left behind and smelt her scent on the pillow. His eyes tear up and he already misses her when not even 5 minutes has passed.
1 month has gone since they last saw one another and loneliness has been a constant companion despite having family and friends with them.
Everywhere Haise went, he would look out for a short violet haired woman with bangs covering the side of her face, but to no avail. He slept with his arms around the pillow that carried her fragrance which faded each time he inhaled.
He would walk around in his house and recall the moments he spent with her there. The pool table, the television, the dining table. He was grateful that these memories were the only thing that kept him from breaking down completely.
Often, he tried to forget about her and move on with his life as if they had never met, but he just couldn't, not when his feelings for her are still present in his soul. He could only pray that she's well and is happy now.
Dropping onto her couch, Touka stared directly at the wall and found herself thinking about Haise. She shook her head to distract herself but no matter how she tried to forget him, she just couldn't get him out of her mind.
His kind, caring personality, his stupid jokes and smiles, and the warmth and comfort that his arms brought her. She had tried to form that same warmth by piling her bed with many pillows and hugging them, but she couldn't find the same warmth he gave her. She missed him with an ache that hurt her chest.
Her mind switched back to recall how Haruki had begged her to get back with him just a few days ago, stating that he couldn't live without her and to give him another chance. At first, she loathed the idea as she didn't want to get hurt again if he does something this time but then she just realized that this was her opportunity to find out whether she still truly loved him and he, with her.
But when he kissed her, she couldn't feel the little tingles and butterflies in her tummy, as compared to the first time they kissed. Back then, she was elated and didn't want it to end. But now, she felt nothing. Haruki used to kiss her so passionately but now the kiss didn't feel like it had any feelings.
Haise appeared in her mind and she thought back to how he kissed her so gently as if he was trying to express his true feelings for her and he also kissed her so passionately as if he hadn't seen her in a year and would die. That was the type of kiss she was looking for. Unfortunately, Haruki didn't have that anymore.
For the remaining of their date, she didn't have the excitement within her nor had the urge to continue it, as compared to what she used to have. Everything seemed dull and she must have been blindly in love to only realize now that Haruki is rude to shops' employees—something she can't overlook as she was once an F&B employee herself—and he only talks about himself in conversation. Haise was genuinely interested in what she had to say, unlike Haruki who brushed her off whenever she opened her mouth. He probably would be nice to employees as well.
In every way, Haise had won over Haruki and she was shocked that over the span of only 1 day, she had come to realize how good of a man Sasaki Haise was. Her eyes burned and heart raced. So the reason she felt so empty and lonely was that she loved Haise? It was why she could never forget about him and craved the warmth and comfort he gave her.
She ended her relationship with Haruki right then and there. Rushing to Haise's house, she prayed she wasn't too late.
Touka found herself at his doorstep once again and pressed the doorbell. Instead of Haise who opened it, a woman with long purple hair did. "Good afternoon, are you looking for someone?"
Her voice was shaky all of a sudden. This woman was so beautiful. What was her relationship with him if she was in his house? "I'm looking for Haise."
"Who's at the door, Rize—Touka..."
Haise's eyes widened before realizing how bad this situation looked to Touka. He was a half-naked man in the house—only in his long pants—with Rize—whom Touka does not know. Before she misunderstood, he needed to quickly clear her doubts.
Her face fell at the sight of both of them and she heard her heart breaking into pieces. She was too late, he had already moved on from her and had a beautiful long haired girlfriend. She cursed herself for not realizing her feelings for him earlier and came to see him earlier. Maybe then, she would actually have a chance to be with him.
Tears brimming in her eyes, she needed to leave before she broke down. Stepping back, her voice shook, "I-i see what's going on here, I'm sorry to interrupt."
He quickly grabbed her arm to stop her and she saw the desperation in his eyes. "Wait, Touka, I can explain!"
Rize stepped in to save him. "I'm his ex-girlfriend and no, we're not dating."
He gave her a thankful look and the beautiful lady smiled back to him.
"T-then, why..?" She whispered.
"Come in, and I'll explain." He answered and they all went into the house.
After putting on a shirt and pouring tea for Touka, he settled on the chair opposite of both women and clasped his hands. "It's not what it looked like. I just showered and Rize here suddenly came over, which explains why I wasn't wearing a shirt and she was just visiting to give me something, right?"
Rize nodded. "I'm getting married so I came to invite him to my wedding."
"Yes she was—wait, you're getting married?!" He couldn't believe his ears and had to make sure.
Her brow went up. "Why? Is it that big of a surprise? You didn't think I'd get married, did you?" She teased.
"It's just... I thought you didn't like permanence and so I expected you not to get attached to someone for the rest of your life."
Rize sighed. "I met a man and he made me want to settle down. No offense, Haise. Our relationship was great but I guess we weren't fated to be together."
"No offense taken."
Rize slid a wedding invitation to him then turned to Touka. "You can come as his plus one also if you want. Now then, I've done what I came to do and I'm leaving."
Before she left, she leaned over Touka and whispered, "cherish him, he's boyfriend and husband material, if you ask me. Plus, he's great in bed."
Touka's cheeks warmed.
"Judging from that reaction, I see that you've already done it with him. Oh well, whatever it is between the two of you, I hope you guys fix it."
"Bye, Haise! See you at the wedding!"
The door closed and silence fell.
Touka felt so relieved when she heard that Haise didn't move on from her and that she still had a chance. "Do you still remember what you said to me on the day I left?"
He blinked. "Of course. I asked you to be my girlfriend and that I was willing to wait for as long as it takes even if I had to be number 2 in your heart. I thought about it every day since you left and how I could have phrased it in a different way so that you'd say yes. In the end, I knew that no matter how I phrased it, I would still be rejected because you loved him..." He trailed off, the shine in his eyes disappearing into sadness.
"I dated Haruki again."
He flinched at her sentence and braced himself for the good news. She was going to get back with the guy who cheated on her, or they were going to get married. He didn't like both.
"And I broke up with him for the second time."
"What—why?"
Haise looked down at Touka as she stepped toward with him and cupped his cheeks with a smile. "Because I realized I don't love him anymore, but someone else. Haise... is it too late for me to change my answer to be your girlfriend from no to yes?"
Tears formed in his eyes and he shook his head. "It isn't. What made you change your mind?"
"It was the way he kissed me. He didn't love me anymore nor did I. The kiss had no feelings. I compared it to yours and you kissed me as if you truly loved me and that you would die if I didn't love you back."
He hid back his jealousy that Haruki got to kiss her and instead scratched his nape and laughed nervously. "You caught me. I loved you, and I guess that reflected in my kisses. I probably fell in love with you the moment you woke up in my bed looking ridiculous with your bed hair and your stomach growling like it hasn't had food in a year."
She laughed and wrapped her arms around his neck. "I fell in love with you when I saw you put on your stupid banana boxers."
He leaned his forehead against hers and grinned. "They're nice, you know."
"They're silly." She whispered, breath tickling his face.
Soon, their lips met passionately, and just when she thought their bodies couldn't be any closer, he snaked his arms around her waist and pulled her to him, so close that her breasts pressed up against his chest and her hips met his.
"Tell me why you love me." She said.
Haise twirled a few strands of her hair with his fingers as he gazed into her eyes. "I love the way your hair falls all over your face when you sleep."
"Are you insulting me? And is that it?" She frowned and also sounded disappointed.
"I am not insulting you and I find that cute. I'm not done either." He caressed her cheeks."I love the way your blue eyes shine like the stars at night."
He poked her nose. "I love the way your cute little nose twitches when you're so done with me."
He rubbed his thumb over her soft lips. "I love the way your lips curve into a smile when I tell you one of my jokes."
"I love your competitive side, your emotional side, your sarcastic side, your playful side and everything else. I, Sasaki Haise, have fallen deeply in love with you and I don't regret it."
Touka wanted to cry. He was so sweet. Her fears arose. "Will you promise to not cheat on me? I-i don't think I can survive another cheating incident."
Haise sensed that now was not the time for a joke. She was seriously telling him her insecurities and worries and he needed to reassure her. "I promise. I will never look at another woman except you. If I do, I give you permission to hit me."
She laughed despite the seriousness and leaned on his chest. She felt so happy, warm and cherished in his arms and she believed that he would be the one to make her happy. "Oh, you bet I will. I'll dump your sorry ass too."
— EXTRA —
Haise pouted. "You and Haruki kissed? I don't like that."
She giggled, sending flutters through him. "It was just so I can confirm how I felt about you and Haruki. Are you jealous?"
"I am. I demand compensation." He mumbled, nuzzling into her neck.
Touka grabbed his face and leaned in to kiss the cute, jealous man. "Is this enough, boyfriend?"
Leaning in close, he murmured, "I think I need more to make sure that was real..."
She laughed as he peppered kisses behind her ear lobes and down her neck, making it ticklish. "Haise, stop!"
1 year later, Haise proposed to her in a Ferris wheel and they got married 6 months after.
3 years later, Touka gave birth to a daughter named Ichika. Another 3 years later, a baby boy named Kou joined their family of three, making it a family of four.
Thinking back as she looked down at her two sleeping children and one sleeping husband, she never regretted her decision in becoming Haise's girlfriend, for he did what he promised her; never to cheat on her, and to make her the happiest woman in the world.

The salt has returned. As well as the Protect-Marinette-At-All-Costs Squad.
---
“I can’t believe you’ve never gone bowling before.” Nanette said.
“I was never invited to go bowling.” Kagami shrugged. “Didn’t have a real interest in it either.”
Kagami, Nanette, Quinn, and Marinette were done with school and decided to celebrate the end of their utopia projects by going out bowling. With the weather steadily getting colder the further into the autumn they got they needed to find entertainment inside.
“You are going to love this place. Lots of neon lights, a billiard room, a bunch of arcade games, tons of cheap greasy junk food. It is like the perfect teen hang out.” Quinn wrapped an arm around Kagami and Marinette’s shoulders. “And I get to whip your butts!”
“Wanna bet?” Kagami smirked.
“You may wanna watch yourself, Quinn.” Marinette giggled, “Kagami is a tad...competitive.”
“You mean the all-star fencer has a competitive streak? Who knew!” Nanette joked.
They continued on their way laughing and talking. They were almost to the bowling alley when Marinette froze on the sidewalk.
The others stopped and looked at her confused. Kagami looked around and sighed. Up ahead was a group of Marinette’s old classmates and they were heading straight towards them. No alley to duck into either.
“Hey,” Kagami looped her arm through hers, “It’s alright.”
“Yeah,” Marinette nodded, “I just…”
“What’s going on?” Nanette asked. “Marinette, are you feeling okay? Do you need to go home?”
“No. I’m fine.” She felt bad for worrying them, “Let’s keep moving.”
Marinette was hoping that the other group would veer off in another direction but they kept steadily approaching them. Maybe if she kept her head down no one would notice.
“Adrien!” Nanette shouted, “Hey, Adrien, over here!”
Nanette, why have you betrayed me? Marinette thought as her pink haired friend waved to the group of oncoming students.
Adrien as well as the rest of the group was right in front of them now. So much for passing by unnoticed.
“Hi, guys,” Adrien waved at their group, “Where are you all off to today?”
“Bowling. Kagami’s never been.” Nanette explained, “Oh, and this is my friend, Quinn.”
“Hey,” Quinn was distracted by how Marinette was squeezing herself behind them. “What is up with you?”
“I--”
“Marinette?” That voice. That sickly sweet, vile, voice struck her to the bone.
Marinette peaked over Quinn’s shoulder. Among the group with Adrien was Alya, Nino, Kim, Max, Alix, and…
“Lila,” Marinette muttered.
“It’s been so long.” Her smile stretched wide, almost like she was showing off all the lies she pressed through her teeth.
“Not long enough.” she spat. Her fear quickly turning into rage as she was put face to face with her enemy once again.
“Oh, you’re still not upset about the expulsion, right?” Lila frowned, “I mean, it was over a month ago.”
“I wasn’t expelled. I transferred.” Marinette didn’t need to keep up any pretense now. She was uninhibited in her dislike and the power both thrilled and scared her. “Now if you don’t mind, my friends and I will be on our way.”
“Oh, don’t leave so fast.” Lila grabbed her arm as she tried to push past, “Aren’t you even gonna introduce me to your new friends?”
Was today gonna be the day Marinette gave someone a bloody nose? Her hand balled into a fist as all her frustration started to accumulate.
“Let go of her,” Kagami pinched Lila’s arm, hard. Lila dropped Marinette immediately.
“Ow!” Lila whined overly dramatically. “Why did you do that?”
Marinette was pulled back to Nanette and Quinn who kept their arms protectively linked with hers.
“Don’t touch my friends.” Kagami leveled her with a single glare.
“Adrien,” Lila turned her pleading eyes to him, “Is my shoulder bruised? I have really sensitive skin. I bruise like a peach.”
“There’s nothing there,” Adrien responded in a deadpan voice.
“Why are you even wearing a tanktop? It’s the middle of October.” Nanette asked.
Lila squeezed herself closer to Adrien, “I’m warm blooded but now that you mention it I am a bit chilled.” She pulled Adrien’s arm around her, “Much better.”
“Here.” Quinn tossed their jacket in Lila’s face. “That should keep you warm.”
Lila tore the jacket off her head. She was close to snapping but kept it on lock. “Thank you.” she stressed, her eyes raking over the worn down jean jacket in her hands, “But I just couldn’t--”
“I insist.” Quinn looked at Adrien, “You wanna come bowling with us, blondie?”
“That does sound fun!” Lila beamed.
“I wasn’t asking you.” Quinn snatched their jacket back from her.
“I don’t want to intrude on your outing.” Adrien said.
“Don’t be ridiculous.” Quinn grabbed him and pulled him next to them, “I’ve been hearing a lot about you from the girls and would like to confirm if what they said about you is true.”
“What are they saying about me?” Adrien looked back at Kagami and Marinette with a small smile.
“This and that. You in?”
“Sure.”
“Dude, you’re just gonna bail on us?” Nino spoke up.
“He sees you every day at school,” Kagami stated, “He only gets to see us once in a while. So it’s not really bailing. Especially if he wants to come with us more than he wants to stay with you.”
Dang, Kagami! Marinette stared at her. Sure Marinette wasn’t on the best of terms with her old classmates but that was cold. Then again if Kagami hadn’t stepped in earlier Lila would be lying on the ground with a broken nose. The most she would probably regret from that decision is a bruised hand.
Seeing all her old classmates like this Marinette was able to see what Adrien and Aurore had meant. They weren’t exactly zombies but they didn’t look too thrilled to be out. It was almost like they had gotten dragged along and didn’t have any fight in them to object. It may have been sad if they hadn’t assisted in her bullying induced transfer to a different school across town.
The rest of the students shuffled their feet muttering goodbyes and quietly ushering a red faced Lila past Marinette’s group.
“I like your sweater,” Alya murmured on her way past, “It’s really cute.”
Marinette’s heart lurched as her former best friend gave her a waning smile before moving on with the others.
“Thanks,” Marinette said quietly. Alya was too far down the street to have heard her.
“Okay!” Nanette clapped her hands together, “That was a whole new level of uncomfortable.”
“Yeah…” Quinn and Nanette were looking at Marinette again. A million questions waiting unanswered on their tongues.
“Everything okay with you?” Adrien asked breaking her attention away. “Lila…”
“I’m fine.” she stammered, “We were bowling right? Let’s go do that.”
“Marinette--”
“I’m fine!’ she snapped as she moved on ahead of the others. “I just...I just really want to get a good bowling ball before all the nice ones are taken.”
Her friends weren’t convinced but it was obvious she wasn’t going to talk about the confrontation right now. Not that she could keep avoiding it. Eventually she was gonna have to vent. Not even five minutes around Lila again and Marinette was ready to blow her fuse.
They got to the bowling alley and tied on their shoes. Nanette was typing in the names on the scoreboard while explaining the rules to Adrien and Kagami. Quinn sat down next to Marinette. “I found you a pink bowling ball.” they handed it to her. “Your favorite color, right?”
“Yep,” Marinette took the ball, “Thanks, Quinn.”
“I know it’s not my place to pry but you know if you need to talk then we’re all here for you. You don’t have to keep it to yourself.”
“I know.” she leaned her head on their shoulder, “I appreciate it.”
“And if for some reason you need us to kick someone’s butt we got you covered. Outside of Kagami basically being an attack dog. Did you see her face when that girl grabbed you?” Quinn made a scary face, “Hoo, I thought she was gonna break her arm. But you also got me, the first pick for dodgeball superstar and Nanette who has really sharp long nails.”
“My own little army,” she laughed, “I feel safer already.”
“Good,” they smiled.
“Marinette!” Nanette swiveled around in her chair, “Your name doesn’t fit in the slot so I just put Mari.”
“Mari?”
“What’s wrong with Mari? Everyone calls me Nani.”
“Nothing. It’s just that no one ever calls me Mari.” Marinette shrugged.
“Really? That true?” Nanette looked at Adrien and Kagami.
“She never asked to be called by a nickname.” Adrien shrugged. “Besides, Marinette is a pretty name.”
“But Mari sounds so cute. Also, as friends it is our duty to assign cute and embarrassing nicknames. Isn’t that right, Applesauce?”
“Nanette!” Quinn snapped, their face going red, “I swear to Loch Ness if you call me Applesauce again!”
“Why does she call you--”
“Don’t ask.”
“Awe, come on Quinny, what’s so wrong with--”
“Wettie Nettie.”
Nanette looked at them horrified, “We agreed that that nickname would die in a hole never to see the light of day again.”
“Yeah, but we also said the same thing about Applesauce. So if we’re taking embarrassing old nicknames out of retirement…”
“Fine. Truce. Shut up.” Nanette grumbled and went back to typing in names.
“Do I wanna know the story behind either of these?” Marinette asked.
“It’s better if you don’t. Just know that they are best left forgotten forever.”
“Wait, does Wettie Nettie have anything to do with that day the air conditioning at school--”
“Kagami,” Quinn was furiously shaking their head, “Do not engage.”
“Got it.” they all relaxed as they started the first round of bowling. Quinn and Nanette were dominating with Kagami right on their tails. For someone who had never played before she was doing very well. Better than Marinette and Adrien that is. Gutterball after gutterball.
“You need the bumpers up, blondie?” Quinn teased.
“You joke but I may actually need them if I want to get any points.” Adrien sighed as he sent his neon green bowling ball down the lane. And it spun right into the gutter again. “Come on! What am I doing wrong?”
“Take a walk, Adrien,” Nanette patted him on the back, “Marinette, you’re up.”
Please, oh please, Marinette begged in her mind, give me some Ladybug luck. She took a deep breath and threw her ball out into the lane. Keeping straight...keeping straight...turning slightly...and…
“STRIKE!” Marinette jumped for joy, “I got a strike!”
“Good job, Marinette,” Kagami said, “It was an excellent turn.”
“Now just do that for the rest of the game and you may come in second to last instead of dead last.” Quinn joked, “I’m pretty sure your model friend isn’t gonna get anything above a spare.”
Marinette did in fact not get dead last but had tied for last place with Adrien which she supposed was better. Quinn was raining champion with Nanette missing out by just two points and Kagami missing out by a mere handful.
“Alrighty then, losers buy the food,” Nanette grinned at Adrien and Marinette, “And since you two were dead last…”
“I don’t remember agreeing to those terms.” Marinette pouted.
“It’s no big deal, Marinette,” Adrien took out his wallet, “I was the real loser. I’ll pay.”
“Yeah. Make money bags pay.” Quinn ruffled Adrien’s hair, “Get three orders of the biggest fries they have. Extra greasy. Extra cheesy.”
Kagami put a hand over her mouth, “That sentence made me puke a little.”
“Live a little, Kagami,” Quinn and Nanette sided her, “When was the last time you ate something truly bad for you?”
“Bad for me like a heart attack,” Kagami shuddered, “I don’t think I should.”
“How about a game of air hockey? If I win you eat. I you win then you can order a salad and be sad with your healthy living.” Quinn challenged.
“You’re on.” Kagami’s competitive nature won out and the pair raced to the arcade to settle the score.
“I better make sure those two don’t send a puck through a wall.” Nanette rolled her eyes and chased after them.
“And I’ll help you carry the food, I guess,” Marinette followed Adrien to the concession. They ordered a little bit of everything and five large glasses of soda before returning to their table.
“Besides being absolutely dreadful at bowling this afternoon has been pretty fun.” Marinette said as she settled the tray of food down.
“It was a lot more fun than what I was doing before you showed up.” Adrien took a sip of his soda, “I don’t know how I got roped into that outing with Lila.”
“I was meaning to ask about that.” Marinette scooted her chair in closer, “Why were you out?”
“A rare free afternoon and plans with the boys quickly turned into a group outing with Alya and Alix which wasn’t bad until Lila caught wind of our plans and invited herself. Unfortunately I didn’t have a good enough reason to tell her no. Lila didn’t want to go to the movie we were planning on seeing so we just started walking around town looking for something to do.”
“So we swooped in for the rescue.” Marinette felt sorry that Lila was still running the school with reckless abandon. What was Chloe doing? She was supposed to be keeping Lila in line. Come on, Queen Bee!
“Stop pouting, Quinn,” Kagami and Nanette returned with a sour faced Quinn, “No one likes a sore loser.”
“She beat you?” Adrien laughed.
“Not a single point.” Nanette was holding in her laughter, “It was actually kinda sad.”
“Shut up, Nani,” Quinn grabbed one of the baskets of fries and shoveled them into their mouth by the fistful. “What were you two talking about?”
“I’m gonna go out on a limb and say we were having a venting session over Lila?” Kagami guessed.
“Yep.” Marinette grimaced into her glass.
Nanette and Quinn shared another uneasy look as if to say who was gonna ask. “Marinette?” Nanette asked, “Does this Lila person have anything to do with why you transferred schools?”
“Well...um…” she looked to Adrien for support. He grabbed her hand giving her the courage to face this terrible tale once again. “Settle in, this is a bit of a downer.”
So she told them all about what happened with Lila. All her plans to sabotage Marinette and her threats to ruin her finally succeeding in pushing her out of the school. She got choked up when she mentioned how it seemed none of her friends were on her side, except for Adrien of course.
By the end both Nanette and Quinn were red in the face. “That little--” Nanette looked like she was going to pop a blood vessel, “I’m gonna go in the bathroom and scream. One second.” She stormed off.
“Are you serious? That twerp we met outside got away with all of that?” Quinn’s nostrils flared. “Who’s got an address? I wanna have a little chat with this pest.”
“Quinn, it’s not--”
“AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!” A scream from the bathroom silenced everyone in the bowling alley. Nanette stomped back out and sat back in her chair. “I’m better.”
“You sure?” Kagami quipped, “Didn’t strain a vocal chord screaming bloody murder?”
“There’s gonna be a bloody murder!” Quinn pounded their fist on the table.
“Guys, please,” Marinette pleaded with them to calm down, “I appreciate the concern but it doesn’t matter now. I left of my own accord to get away from her and start fresh. If I never see her again it’ll be too soon.”
“But she was so--so--”
“Evil!” Nanette finished. “She’s plain evil!”
“She’s also a talented liar. I’ve tried taking her on before and it cost me my friends and my school. Karma will sort her out for me.”
“You seriously believe that?”
“I have to. It’s all I feel I can do.” Marinette felt another hand grasp hers.
“If she ever does come after you again,” Kagami said, “You’ll have us behind you.”
The others nodded. Marinette let out a breath of relief and gazed at her wonderful friends. “Thank you. You are great. Truly.” she leaned her head on Kagami’s shoulder, “And now that the emotional breakdown is out of the way, who wants me to pulverize them at Street Fighter?”

Chuck vs. The Sandworm Part 2
Tumblr media
You and Chuck drove back to his place. You called Sarah asking her if she can meet you both at his place. "Hey. Um, is Sarah here?" you asked Ellie and Devon as you both walked in. "She's waiting in your room Chuck." " Is everything okay?" Ellie asked. "Oh yeah! Just hanging out! And we just have something to talk about." you said as you and Chuck headed to his room. When Chuck opened the door, you both found Sarah standing there looking out the window." "Hey!" you greeted. " Who is this Lazslo character? He just ID'd us as agents." Chuck said getting right to the problem "Relax. We're looking into him. And you guys did the right thing." Sarah reassured. "We... We didn't do anything. We just flashed on the guy. " you said. "You followed protocol, and I'm going to check in with you first thing in the morning." " Wait, wait. Wait, wait, hold on, hold on. Wait, um...Look, if it's cool with you, could you hang out for a little while?" you asked. " Look, awesome and Ellie think that we're all hanging out so it would look a little awkward if you just left now." Chuck explained. "Oh! Um...sure! How long?" "Ummm I don't know. I would say 40 minutes to an hour tops?" you asked "Uh okay." You all then just sat on Chuck's bed awkwardly.  You decided to lean against Chuck as you all waited this out and Chuck put his arm around your shoulders. "Oh. I wanted to surprise you guys with a little something." Sarah spoke up, taking a couple frames out of her bag. You and Chuck looked over at her wondering what she would have for you two. Sarah handed over two of the same photos for the both of you of you three at comic-con. "What do you think?" Sarah asked. " It's... It's great. But we've never actually been to comic-con, have we?" Chuck asked. "Wow...we look like a real group of friends." you said. "Yeah we really do." Chuck added. "We we are a real group of friends. We are just a different group of friends." "That we are." Chuck said. You and Chuck then looked at each other, both of you thinking the same thing.
The next day at work Chuck was on his break when Casey came barging in. "You! What do I have to do to get timely intel out of you, Bartowski? Or L/N?" " Look, we briefed Sarah last night, all right?" "Oh, of course you did." "I thought we were all supposed to be part of the same team here, huh-- team Chuck and Y/N." " We are, but I'm starting to feel like the guy who always gets picked last, and I do not like feeling like team Chuck and Y/N's little fat kid." "Okay, you know what, the next time we have a flash, we'll come straight to you, all right, Casey?" " What did you tell Lazslo?" "Nothing. He asked me where we got our watches, and I told him Y/N's friend who I have become close to as well, gave it to us, okay?" " So you compromised yourselves and agent Walker? Bang up job, Chuck."
You were coming in to see Chuck on your break when you saw him and Morgan and it looked like Chuck was yelling at Morgan. You walked a little closer but still stayed out of the way. 'No. You know what you are, Morgan? You are this close to getting fired for sexual harassment." Chuck yelled at him. "What happened, Chuck? You used to be cool." " I-I used to be cool? When was that? When we were 13? Well, I'm sorry to go changing on you, buddy. But if you hadn't noticed, we are now chronologically-speaking, adults. So, unless you wanna work retail for the rest of your life, and by the way, drag me down with you in the process, I would suggest that you grow up." Morgan just walked away and Chuck sighed. You started to approach him slowly. "Chuck? Everything okay?" Chuck looked over at you and then just looked down again. You were now next to him and put your hand on his arm. Just one touch from you would always instantly calm him. He took a deep breath and slowly let it out then looked over at you and smiled. You smiled back at him. ""Heavy is the head that wears the crown." couldn't help but notice the way you handled that, uh, Morgan situation. That was most impressive, Chuck. " Lester said walking towards you two. "That's great, that's great." "You gave me goose bumps." Jeff said joining in as well. " Super, Jeff." You and Chuck walked away and you stopped at the Nerd Herd desk. "You okay Chuck? Why were you yelling at Morgan?" "I just have been feeling a little stressed out lately with what we are going through and this job interview..." "Hey it will be okay." you said softly. Chuck looked at you and nodded his head. "Listen how about I meet you back here when you're done work and we can hangout after and talk. Sound good?" "Yeah. That would be perfect." "Okay then. I'll see you after your shift."
It was night time and Chuck's shift was over. As he walked out the doors he saw you, changed and waiting for him outside. He smiled at you. "Long time no see." you said. Chuck laughed and came over to you and put his arm around your shoulders as you both walked to his car. All of a sudden a man with a freaky clown mask jumped in front of you both and you screamed. Chuck jumped but he kept his arm tight around you. Oh! Nice try, buddy, but, uh, Halloween's tomorrow, okay?" The man then raised a gun and pointed it at him. " Or today, or today. It could be today if you want it to be today." Chuck said trying to stay calm. The man then took off his mask. It was Lazslo. "I didn't kill anybody." he said. "Look, we-we never said you did." you said. " Then why am I on the FBI list?" he yelled now pointing his gun at you. Chuck did not like that. " I don't know. Just calm down." you said calmly. "I was framed, okay. You have to believe me. I am not a murderer." "Okay, okay. I believe you. But FYI? You're kinda acting like a murderer. And if you're going to point that gun at someone then point it at me. Please stop pointing it at her." Chuck said. Lazslo did as he was told and pointed the gun back at Chuck. "You told the undercover agent about me, didn't you? He's talking to pentagon operations right now. I tapped into the encrypted video feed at the store. I helped design that home theater system. " "Look, I-I-I don't know-- " You all heard a car honked and you all looked over. Chuck then looked back and jumped on the guy trying to grab his gun. "Get it. Get it. Get it." "Chuck!" you cried out feeling terrified for him. I got it, I got it. I got it." Lazslo eventually pushed Chuck down onto the car with the gun in his face. "No!" you cried. As Chuck lied there he all of a sudden felt drops of water on his face. "Is that a water gun?" " No." "I'm pretty sure it's dripping on my face." Lazslo let Chuck go and you breathed a sigh of relief and quickly ran over to Chuck's side helping him up and giving him a side hug, putting both your arms around him as Chuck put his arm around you, trying to catch his breath. " I'm sorry. Name's lazslo. And I need help." " What the Hell are we supposed to do?" you asked. "You're on the inside. You have access. Look, unless you help me clear my name, they're gonna keep chasing me. You two are my only hope." "Breaking out the Star Wars quotes." you said quietly. " But first... I could really use some pancakes." You and Chuck just stared at him confused.
The three of you were now at a diner, all enjoying some pancakes. You and Chuck were sitting side by side on one side of the booth while Lazslo was on the other. "What else did you make for the CIA?" Chuck asked. " Whatever the jobs called for actually. I mean, if an agent wanted thermal-vision ray bans I'm the Guy they call." " You're like a real life Q." Lazslo just looked at Chuck, not understanding. " You know. You know Q. The guy who used to make all the gadgets for Bond, Q?" you said trying to help. "Bond was that spy-guy, right?" "What, have they been keeping you in a friggin' cave?" Chuck asked. "Underground lab actually. For the last 10 years, all I did was work in that lab pretty much. Well, that and play video games. But, uh... No friends, no family." "No Bond. No wonder you blew up all your research and busted out there. That's just inhumane." Chuck said. "So what kind of work do you guys do?" "You know, it's kinda, it's kinda, uh, complicated." you said. " Right, but you gotta be some kind of a geniuses. Or prodigy? I mean feds don't bother recruiting somebody, guarding them with undercover agents, unless you're super good at something? What are you super good at?" "Let's just say we're the computer guys."
A little while later, the three of you were beginning to wrap it up. "This is great. I mean just being able to sit in a coffee shop and talk." You and Chuck let out a laugh. " Just talk. With somebody who knows what it's like working for the company. You know, if I had to do it over again, I never would have gone to that pier." "What pier?" you asked. "I was 11... And... Some agent saw me playing tetris at an arcade. So he asked me if I can take all these tests. The next thing I know, he's offering to pay my way through school. My parents, like, they didn't know what to do with a kid whose IQ is higher than both theirs combined. So they signed me over. And that's when I became property of the United States government. Sweet story, huh?" You and Chuck looked at him, both feeling sorry for him. A lady then came over with your bills. " I'm a little, I'm a little strapped. You know how government work pays." Lazslo said. " Dude, yeah. No, no, no, no, don't even worry about it. Y/N I have yours too." he said looking at you. "Chuck you don't have to." "It's fine. Don't worry." You rolled your eyes but gave him a soft smile and Chuck gave you a wink. "Here. Here's an IOU." Lazslo said handing Chuck a drawing he was doing on his napkin. " Thanks." "Guys, listen you can't tell your handlers you ever saw me." "What? Why? They can help you, Lazslo. They're the good guys." you tried to explain. "There's no such thing in this business. I mean, you don't believe me? Go home and search your room. See what kind of bugs your good guy handlers planted on you. From now on, you should trust your handlers precisely as much as they trust you." Lazslo explained. You and Chuck then looked at each other wondering what he could mean.

Was It You? Ending B (P.JM)
Warnings : mentions of cancer, mentions of a car accident, memory loss
Word Count : 2139
Synopsis :  after losing all but one of her memories, she makes it her mission to find the boy in her memory. fate seems to do her work for her, but is he really who she’s been looking for?
Author’s Note : this is the second ending to the imagine i posted yesterday. i hope you enjoyed both of them!
“It was pink, because that’s your favourite colour.” He smiled as he placed his own cutlery down and taking my hand in his. “Why are you asking, love?” I stared at him as I thought back on the last 9 months we’ve spent together. I thought back on all the love he’s given me and how happy he’s made me. It was my mission to find the man who gave me the ring when we were kids, and I found him. But we’ve both grown up and changed so much. I don’t remember how happy Taehyung made me when we were younger, but I know how happy Jimin has made me.
“It was pink.” I lied with a smile. He knows I lied. I know he knows I know he lied. He smiled at me just like he has these past 9 months. I took my hand back and picked up my cutlery again, digging into my meal I’ve barely touched.
“I was hoping to exchange that ring though.” Jimin said as he reached into his suit jacket and pulled out a small velvet box. “I love you, Y/N. And I know we have so much left to do before we can think of marriage, but I hope you’ll accept this ring. I hope you’ll promise me that you’ll spend forever by my side.”
“Of course I will.” I smiled, looking down at the ring as he slid it on my finger. He grabbed my hand and brought it up to his lips, pressing a gentle kiss above where he placed the ring. “I love you.”
“I love you too.” He may not be the man I was looking for, but he’s the man I fell in love with. Taehyung was my childhood, my past, but Jimin is my present and my future.

Class Reunion - Sam x fem!reader pt 3
Read part 2 here!
Summary: Sam and Dean hit up a case in a town they lived in for Sam's senior year of high school. While on a supply run, Sam runs into reader who he dated that year. Reader invites him to the class reunion. Sam is hesitant but the case leads to the reunion. SPARKS FLY BITCHES
-------------------------------------------------
Jared led the brothers into the kitchen, "Mom, they're here!" He turned back towards the two, "You guys want something to drink. We have water and blood."
Dean leaned forward, "Excuse me?"
"Jared, stop telling people the cranberry juice is blood!" (Y/N) scolded as she walked into the living room, wiping her hands on her apron.
"Hey guys, thanks for coming." She grinned.
Sam smiled, lost in her eyes, then gasped when Dean subtly elbowed him in the ribs. Dean looked at the flowers, then her.
"Oh uh, these are for you." Sam cleared his throat, holding up the bouquet of roses.
"Aww, how sweet." She took the flowers and inhaled deeply, "I'll put these in water. Jared, can you entertain while I finish dinner?" She looked at him pointedly. Jared rolled his eyes.
"Yes, mother."
"Thank you, son." She winked at Sam and went back into the kitchen.
"I'll come with," Sam said hurriedly, following her into the kitchen.
Jared and Dean stood their awkwardly. The kid was only 17 and was definitely Dean's height, maybe taller. Dean cleared his throat and smiled tightly.
"Uh..." Jared said, "You play video games?"
Dean rolled his shoulders and smirked, "I've been known to be the top player of Space Invaders in a few arcades."
Jared breathed out a laugh, "You play Bloodborne?"
"Blood-what?" Dean asked, narrowing his eyes.
"Bloodborne. It's a game where you kill monsters, like werewolves and stuff." Jared explained.
Dean shrugged, "I could give it a go."
-
(Y/N) watched Sam walk in, she smiled and filled a vase with water to house the roses.
"He's a hoot, isn't he?" She said, placing a hand on her hip, "Giving a run for my money. But then again, so did you." She smirked.
"Is it weird that I am extremely nervous? I don't know what to say to him. What would I even say?" He said in a hushed tone, "What does he like? What does he not like?"
"Sam." She said, cutting off his ramble. She slowly took his hands in hers, gauging his reaction. His shoulders relaxed and his breathing got a little easier.
"Look, it's normal that you're nervous. But Jared's a good kid. You can ask him anything you want. Get to know him tonight and however long you're staying." She said, a twinkle in her eye. He had forgotten that for a moment about his life. That after they killed this monster, they would go back on the road. But this was a new situation. If this thing was going after people in their class, her life could be at stake.
-
"We got a button-masher." Jared leaned back against the couch.
"Zip it, kid, I'm winning." Dean said, looking extremely concentrated while he killed a gangly looking werewolf with a huge machete thing. He killed in and grinned at Jared.
"And that's how it's done." He handed Jared the controller. Jared chuckled and rolled his eyes, killing another enemy with a little more finesse than Dean's repeated duck and roll maneuver. There was a comfortable silence between the two beside the sound of gore coming from the TV.
"So... Uh... You knew my mom in high school?" Jared asked, a troubling look in his eyes.
"I met her a couple times, yeah." Dean said, looking at the boy out of the corner of his eye.
"Was she... Was she a good person?" Jared asked.
Dean fully looked at him then. The kid had his head down, his brown hair hiding his eyes. Dean could almost think of the times when Sam looked exactly like that.
"Is this about.. your uh.. your dad?" He didn't know how to handle what seemed like a touchy subject.
"No," Jared looked up, "Well, uh... Yeah I guess. She told me that he didn't know. And I guess I understand. And she's been great. But..." He trailed off.
"You wish you had your dad around." Dean finished the sentence. Jared only nodded. Dean put a hand on Jared's back.
"Look, Jared. Your mom has done the best she could. And I think you turned out pretty okay. You're not runnin' the roads and getting in trouble." Dean said.
"How do you know?" Jared asked.
"I'm FBI." Dean pulled the lapel of his jacket to reveal his badge (a fake badge, but a badge), "We know everything." He closed his jacket.
"My point is, keep your chin up. Who knows, maybe your dad is closer than you think." He smiled. Jared smiled and nodded, a twinkle in his eye.
"Thanks."
"You're welcome." Dean nodded.
"Dinner!" (Y/N) called. Jared shoved at Dean's arm.
"Beat ya there." He smirked just like Sam would.
"Like Hell." Dean scrambled to get up, grabbing Jared in a loose headlock, ruffling his hair.
-
Sam and (Y/N) were putting dishes on the table when Dean and Jared came barging in, shoving and pushing at each other to get a seat.
"Boys." (Y/N) put her hands on her hips.
"Sorry." Jared and Dean said in unison. Sam gave his brother a pointed look. Everyone started eating, which meant Sam scrambled to try and talk to the kid.
"So, Jared." He cleared his throat, "Your mom told me some stuff but uh, where are you going to school?"
Jared took a drink of his water before speaking, "Uh, I'm still a senior right now. But uh, I want to go into history and folklore. I think it's interesting. Or law."
Sam smiled, "That's great. I actually went to Stanford before..." He trailed off, "Before going into law enforcement."
Dean smirked, "Followed in the Family Business, right, Sammy?"
"Family Business?" (Y/N) asked, "I think I remember you telling me something about that. Wasn't your dad also in the FBI?"
Sam nodded, "Yeah." He lied, "Yeah, he was. We're what they call Legacies."
"Cool." Jared smiled, "Do you get any cool stuff?"
Dean tutted and leaned back, pulling a silver pistol out of his waistband, "How about this cool?"
"That's awesome." Jared went to touch the handle.
"Don't touch that!" (Y/N) and Sam said together. Jared looked between the two, mainly at Sam, then retracted his hands.
"Sorry, I guess." The rest of the dinner went without incident. Jared had taken a liking to Dean quickly. Which made Sam oddly jealous.
-
Later in the night after Jared went to bed, the three adults sat in the living room.
"He's a good kid, (Y/N)." Dean said, sitting on the couch next to her. He had just dropped off their duffle bags upstairs.
"I try my best." She smiled, sipping a glass of red wine, "It wasn't easy. But I think I did okay."
Sam smiled, "Took after his old man, huh? Law and history."
She shook her head and chuckled, "Yeah, trust me. I didn't cry at all when he told me."
Dean looked at Sam, then back at (Y/N).
"So uh, we hate to mix work and pleasure, trust me. But uh," He licked his lips, "Could you tell us anything about the murders happening in town?"
She sighed and sat back, holding the glass in both hands, "I don't know much. I just know they it was awful. Witicker has been keeping it under wraps because of the reunion. Says that it's random. But after today's attacks... I'm not so sure."
Sam leaned forward in the chair he was sitting in, "Did you know about the prank from homecoming our senior year?"
"Oh god." She groaned, taking a long gulp of the wine, "Those assholes. So every prank had to go through student council for approval. Well I was out sick for that meeting and it went through. The kid, Daniel was his name, he was kind of a lonely guy. Nice as can be, but was an outcast. He was the water boy for the football team. I was told they were just going to dump Gatorade on him during half time. But no, they pants him in front of everyone. I was mortified, I couldn't imagine how Danny felt. I tried to talk to him at school the next Monday but he dropped out. No one saw him again." She looked up, eyes widening, "You don't think Danny's doing this, do you?"
"Well, right now he's the main suspect." Dean said seriously.
She sighed, finishing the wine, "I would go to the school board about canceling the reunion, because obviously he's targeting people. But as always, nobody listens to me."
"Actually, that might be a way to catch him." Sam said, "We keep everyone in the gym, no one gets lost. We catch the guy and... Do whatever's necessary." Sam avoided eye contact. (Y/N) groaned and rubbed her head.
"I'm gonna go lie down." She stood up, "Guest rooms are upstairs, second door on your right." She set her glass on the coffee table, leaving it for the morning, "Night guys." She made her way up the stairs.
Dean looked at Sam, waiting until (Y/N) was out of earshot.
"Looks like Danny wanted so power, so he found a vampire and turned." Sam said.
"Yeah well, I'd be pissed for 18 years too. Small towns always have the biggest bullying problem." Dean leaned back.
Sam bit his cheek, rubbing his hands together, "You don't think... Jared gets bullied, do you?"
"That kid?" Dean scoffed, "Nah, he's fine. Takes after his uncle." He smirked.
Sam glared, "Yeah about that-"
"Oh come on, don't tell me you're jealous." Dean stood and made his way towards the kitchen. Sam followed, grabbing the wine glass from the table.
"What if I am?" Sam put the glass in the sink.
Dean turned and held his hands out, "Because there's no point. I'm just getting along with him."
"But he's my son!" Sam whisper-yelled.
"Then stop asking him the parent stuff and just talk to him like a normal person." Dean scoffed, "You sound like Dad."
Sam clenched his jaw, "I am nothing like dad."
Dean nodded his head to the side, "Coulda fooled me." He shouldered his way passed his brother and out of the kitchen. Sam leaned on the counter and shook his head. After his cool-down he rubbed his face and went to upstairs to find his room. He found his room easily, seeing as it was the only one with the lights off and the door open. That is until he looked down the hall and saw another door open.
He crept down the hall to the door. He pushed it open more and saw a typical boy room. There was dirty laundry piled up in the hamper in the corner. There was a desk riddled with papers and books. Sam pulled out his phone and used the light from the screen to look at the titles. There was a deep red, leather book on Romanian myths and legends. On the walls he saw movie posters of classics like Dracula and Young Frankenstein. If only this kid knew.
A small sigh brought Sam's attention to the bed in the corner of the room. Jared was sleeping on his back, one arm under his head, the other loosely grasping his phone. Sam carefully took the phone and set it on the bedside table. He grabbed the covers and pulled them higher to Jared chin. Sam smiled proudly, lightly brushing Jared's hair off his forehead. Jared smiled in his sleep, turned to sleep on his side. Sam slowly walked back to the door, looking in one last time.
"Goodnight, Jared." He whispered and shut the door. When he turned around, (Y/N) was right behind him. He jumped, his heart in his throat. She was smiling at him, arms crossed over her chest as she leaned against the wall.
"I was uh." Sam said, wiping the tears that had formed in his eyes away.
"Save the excuses, big boy. It's fine. It was cute. A little weird, but cute." She hummed.
Sam let out a little laugh, "I guess you're right." He licked his lips, "So uh, when should we tell him?" He asked, his voice shaking.
She bit her lip, thinking a moment, "What about tomorrow after the Reunion. I have to set up during the day, Dean can scout the place. It's a Saturday, Jared doesn't have school. Maybe you could stay here with him, get to know him better." She let her arms fall to her sides, "Then after the Reunion and after bad guy getting, we can tell him. Together." She suggested.
Sam nodded, "That's a great idea."
She nodded, leaning up and pressing a kiss to his cheek, "Goodnight, Sammy." She turned to walk away. Sam grabbed her wrist, out of instinct, he wasn't sure. She turned back and looked at him. Sam's lips twitched up from a smile to a grin as he looked at her, thinking of all the good memories with her after such a terrible year. He leaned down slowly, looking from her lips to her eyes, giving her plenty of time to pull away if she wanted to. But she didn't. When their lips met, there was a feeling of serenity that passed between them. (Y/N) slowly slid her hands up his chest and to his neck, locking her fingers in his hair. He grabbed her by the hips and pulled her closer. Boldly, he lifted her up. She wrapped her legs around his waist, surprised and a little turned on by his strength.
He walked blindly to her room at the end of the hall, walking and closing it with his foot. She tugged a little on his hair, pulling a groan from his throat. She pulled away and giggled, "Hush now, don't wanna get caught like last time."
"Oh that cop was bored with nothing else to do than bust two kids on the motel roof." He joked, laying her on her bed. Her chest was heaving, her robe was coming undone, revealing more and more. Sam climbed into the bed, kissing his way up.
I don't want Tumblr to flag me you get what's goin' on.
Sam fell besides her, panting heavily with a large grin on his face. (Y/N) turned on her side, leaning on her arm.
"Haven't had that much fun in a while." She hugged and giggled.
Sam laughed softly, pulling her closer to him. She draped her arm over his stomach and hummed at how warm he was.
"Sammy?" She whispered, a yawn soon followed. He yawned after her, "Yeah?"
"I missed you." She pressed a soft kiss to his chest.
"I missed you too." Sam said, kissing the top of her head. Slowly they both drifted off to sleep.
-------------------------------------------------
Let us pray that (Y/N) doesn't fall pray to Sammy's dick-death curse. Amen.
