I've convinced three people now to watch Dead Boy Detectives and every single one of them has texted me after the first episode like "It's sweet how Charles is clearly so in love with Edwin!"
The only person who has not clocked this boy's obvious bisexual crush remains Charles Rowland himself.

life is good when you got a sunny Sun doodle in ur pocket
He's so happy to see you! You've been gone for a looOOOoong while, friend, but he's so glad you're back! You two can play games, tell stories about your adventures outside the daycare, and have an extra long snack time! Won't you stay a while?

thinking thanos x namgyu thoughts of them trying to save pills by sharing one in a make out session
thinking of them obnoxiously kissing before and after a game, both times their faces are speckled with blood
thinking of them passing out in one bed at lights out exhausted from the days work of being absolutely insane people
thinking of them, blood pumping, hearts racing, dizzy dizzy with the threat to their lives as they always choose each other in mingle, no matter who else they add, they always choose each other first
thinking of them before the games, meeting at club pentagon, or at least namgyu seeing thanos from across the room, never forgetting his pretty face, always hoping that one day... one day
thinking of them ducking into the bathroom stall, just before bedtime, clinging to the last moments of their high, and to each other. making out and making a mess.
thinking of them playing russian roulette where they were kissing when they loaded the gun so no one can even guess which chamber the bullets in, living for the danger of it all.

My litmus test for deciding if I respect or value a person’s One Piece opinions is looking at the way they discuss Usopp tbh. You can tell a lot about someone based on how they talk about Usopp specifically.
If a person insists that Usopp is useless (whether it’s because he’s not as strong as Zoro or Luffy or Sanji or because he “doesn’t have a real job” on the crew) it tells me that they don’t pay attention to what Usopp does contribute, nor do they pay attention to what the story itself deems useful. Usopp may not be a massive, hulking powerhouse with ultra-powerful haki, but he does have utility in the crew. (And even if he didn’t, he would still belong because they wanted him.)
If a person insists that Usopp is just a crybaby or a coward and that he sucks because of this, it tells me that you don’t pay attention to what he’s doing while he’s running or crying. He might cry or shake or run, but he always comes back. He always stands up and fights in the end. He feels scared and then he does it anyway. It’s easy to forget, but Usopp is just a human in a world of monsters. For him to stand up and fight takes a lot of courage.
If a person insists that Usopp is not strong, it tells me they miss what the story itself tells us about what strength is and what it means to be strong. He has a skill that most do not. He is able to shoot with a degree of accuracy that is borderline inhuman. Whether he can kick through a boulder is irrelevant. Sanji can’t snipe from hundreds of feet away.
If you can’t look at Usopp and see where he fits in the story, I am truly uninterested in anything else you have to say about this story.

All this aroace character shipcourse has proven to me that a majority of people that interact in fandom cannot actually interact with characters and media outside of shipping and genuinely I believe you need to learn how to interact with media outside of shipping.

Okay so I've been wanting to tell you that you're literally my favourite twst artist 😭🩷
So my question is, how do you manage to come up with these funny comics? CUZ I LOVE THEM SO MUCH
(P.s: Lovin' the art style ✨)
oh geeze, thanks! 💚💚💚 I'm really glad people enjoy my stupid sense of humor; mostly I just draw things to make myself laugh, and if it makes other people laugh too, then bonus points! usually it's just one joke or mental image that gets stuck in my head (every time I saw Fellow spin his cane, all I could think about was him go-go-gadgeting away on it...) and in my quest to justify it, it picks up other jokes and bits along the way and usually doesn't even end up as the main focus anymore. entire narrative arcs have spun out just so I could use a single bad pun in a throwaway line. this is a terrible way to explain it but I'm not sure how else to put it into words!
and sometimes it's just "weird things my sister has said that I make fun of her for"

Okay, I might be kinda insane but hear me out:
Neil looking out of the window is a symbolism for him yearning for his dreams.
At first when his father made him quit the school annual, he stared out to the school ground through closed windows. It's like he could see what he wanted but could not reach it.
Tumblr media
When Neil got the part as Puck, we see him rehearsing his lines at dawn, glancing out of the window again. He was still unable to actually follow his dreams, yes, but now he could see the first glimpses of what's it's like to be free. He could see the beginning.
Tumblr media
And finally, right before Neil's death, he looked out to his dreams one last time. This time, however, the window was opened, but it's snowing outside. He could go out if he wanted, but he would freeze. He could continue pursuing his passions, but he would ultimately meet his demise.

Anyway, if I had a nickel for every time a series had six installments that gradually escalated in ridiculousness, only for the sixth installment to end with a universe reboot and the seventh installment to pick up in a new universe where alternate versions of the original characters now exist in the distant past, I'd have two nickels.
One of those series is JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. The other is Riverdale

Brian David Gilbert on Sad Boyz
feels fandom relevant.
[ID: A series of screen captures of Brian David Gilbert speaking on a podcast: "The thing that you invest your time in can feel so important to your identity that occasionally you feel, like, you need to close it off from other people in order to keep it safe. And I think that's where a lot of nerd culture, all that gatekeeping stuff, all of the toxicity stems from that thing where it's like, "In high school I didn't have a lot of friends or connect with a lot of people, but I did have this comic book, and now this comic book is super popular, but these people don't like me. That must be because they're not real fans."" End ID]

Ted Lasso, the character, is one of the only representations of 'sometimes getting better with your mental health issues means that you are less visibly happy, and that is okay, because you are not required to be happy in order to be loved' out there and I am really discouraged that so much of the audience is angry at that.

I definitely need to observe this more but I feel like in a lot of actual play or adjacent (ie, sf podcast) fandoms there's like. a particular fan mindset that takes almost every action from secondary characters in the worst faith possible with the exception of villainous/deeply morally ambiguous characters, and so you get people who will assume everyone is out to get the protagonists EXCEPT for the person who has shot at them 20 times while kicking a puppy; that person is misunderstood and deserved a redemption arc.
