Hey guys! slight. sort of blog update? i havent had to make one’a these in a long time. But, if im being honest? im like. super burnt out. I took all of july off of commissions to relax and still ended up being insanely stressed, which means it wasnt the commissions doing it. And right now I’m really struggling to balance the emoji queue, my owed kofi rewards, and my commissions. 

That being said, i am not gonna just. not post. and im still gonna post daily! but one thing i have decided to change is the SIZE of the posts I make. Often, i post emoji bundles where its 2 emojis together, or 9. typically all emojis following the same sorta theme or fandom. 

To try and lessen the load on the emoji queue front while retaining a daily upload schedule, im gonna be breaking up posts id usually lump together a bit more into separate ones. So a post that had 9 emojis, may instead be 9 different posts of 1 emoji, or may be 4 posts of 2 emojis and 1 single. etc. 

Hopefully yall understand and dont mind. I’m hoping thisll make the queue last longer and be less stressful to me so I can more efficiently pump out my other art and have the emojis actually be like. Nicely made? rather than the ones ive made for a while now where I feel rushed. A lotta word emojis come from me panicking and making an emoji last minute bc my queues empty. I don’t want that to happen as much anymore, so.

him and the other 3 are apart of a video game idea that would sort of have a similar artstyle to wandersong (lineless, 2d, and very yummy colors) mendy would be the protagonist but recently ive just been focusing a lot on him bc hes the most fun to draw rn

the best way i can describe his personality is he comes off like a stereotypical surfer dude as a first impression. he's chill and can sometimes be really stupid around his friends but he always means well. he is also very literal, like you have to tell him straight up what you need from him or else he won't know what you're trying to tell him

he lives on a beach in a little hut and surfs the space ocean, visiting other realities and worlds when he can. his house acts like mendy's hub if it were a video game, and he would be her teacher at the beginning and show here how to move to different worlds sorta like a tutorial guy

he has a white beaded friendship bracelet from mendy (that i occasionally forget to draw)

he always has his red shades on because he's insecure about how his eyes look, and his eyes glow

gendino blushes a cyan color but has yellow colored blood

i havent decided how old he is yet

he had his surfboard upgraded by mendy which is why it can float here (before meeting her he just surfed normally)

he doesn't really have any special powers

me and my friends have an "oh no he's californian" joke between us and he isnt actually californian but he has the capability to go to california thanks to reality surfing so lol

he has very little yellow freckles

he would kin crush from finding nemo

he would be the most die in the backrooms first out of the 4

his relationships with people tend to be very loose because he interacts with so many people when surfing realties that he doesn't really have a chance to make deep friendships with people

he's never on time to anything

if he had a favorite disneyland ride it would be space mountain

he hates wearing socks and has thrown up from seeing someone wear socks and sandals

if he were kin assigned to a pony in mlp it would be zephyr breeze

his favorite foods are sloppy joes but he has also been known to drink a combination of mustard and bbq sauce by itself and says its the best thing he's ever tried

he has shat in the ocean as a kid once and only once

his hut is filled with a bunch of souvenirs from other realities and worlds that he has visited

theoretically he could have been in the backrooms at some point in his life

even though he was created while i was listening to psychadelic porn crumpets i think he leans more towards ballyhoo! songs like beach party or the front porch

Isolation (John Murphy × Reader Part 6)

A/n thisll be short have only 20 mins

You woke up the next day to someone shaking you, and whispering your name. You groan and roll over, opening your eyes slightly to see Octavia.

"Hey." You whisper, then roll over, assuming it was around nine.

"For someone who just woke up from a coma, you dont seem very happy to see your best friend. Wake up, kid. Its noon, and your breakfast got cold hours ago, so I ate it." You could hear the smile in her voice and laugh.

You decide that it's time to get up. You didnt do much the rest of the day, ate, made baskets, and talked to Octavia. She mostly teased you about Murphy, even though you absolutely DID NOT like him like that.

By the time they were about to change, you were not tired at all.

"Bye, O." You smile and give her a hug as she leaves, Murphy coming in right after.

"Hey." You say. After he doesnt respond you decide to try and make small talk.

"Hey, thank you for sticking up for me when Bellamy tried to, uh, well, kill me, sorta." You mumble, but he just looks at you, surprised. But he covers it up just as quickly as it crossed.

"Clarke told you, huh?" You nod your head and looked over at him. Then you sat down, deciding to work on your baskets. She had assigned a ten a week, and you had done two yesterday. You wanted to draw and so you decided to get it done.

You were in the middle of getting the supplies ready when he spoke up.

"You would've done it for someone else, too. Well, someone innocent, at least. You didn't do anything to get down here, so, why let you die. Besides, you might be useful." He mumbles out.

"I'm not innocent. Why would he want me to die if I was?" You laugh, trying to cover up the shake in your voice.

"Oh, really? What was this terrible sin you committed that Bellamy wants to kill you for?" He rolls his eyes and relaxes by the door a little. Before his back was stiff and eyes forward, like he was guarding someone mentally ill. Now, he's leaning against the wall with his arms crossed, like with a friend. If he has any.

"I was the reason for his mothers death." You murmur. He bolts up and you realize you /did/ sound crazy.

"No! I didnt kill her, dumbass. Not on purpose, at least." You sigh, and tell him the story that haunts you every night, one after the other, without fail.

"That wasn't your fault. That was your dads fault, sounds like an ass." You smiled a little, thankful for his consolation, but you shook your head no.

"Yes, it was my fault. I told her it was okay, but it wasn't. Now he hates me, and I understand why. I'm going to bed. Goodnight, Murphy." You say, trying to keep yourself from crying. He was taken by surprise, he had never expected such a nice girl to snap at him like that.

But he smiled nonetheless, because you were new, and surprising. "Goodnight."

1. Im going to take plastic Easter eggs, the fillable kind, and I painted sigils on them and flowers relating to the intent of the spell I'm going to put inside of them. I’ll make a list of ingredients later since they are sorta surprises for some friends who need them ^^ but they will be filled with crystal chips, herbs, essential oils, you know, the works, and I’m going to melt crayons around the openings to keep them sealed and use color magic some more! (aside from the color of the eggs)

2. BAKING. YAAAY. im making peanut butter cookies with either thyme, rosemary, or basil... I think it was sweet basil I decided on. ^^

3. I hope to take a wonderful little walk in nature if the weather is nice out, and if not then maybe I’ll...

4. watch a spring-y movie!

and then im just going to enjoy the rest of my day probably! I am so excited ^^
