I've just watched with my little bro Sonic 3, and let me tell u guys, I refuse to believe Shadow is dead. Give my baby girl a proper conclusion. Him dying is not a proper conclusion, PERIODDDDD.

Who will remember Maria now that her grandfather and her only friend are dead? Who will be that light (Shadow) that still shines even when the star (Maria) is dead?? WHO IF NOT SHADOW GUYS?!?!?! The best choice was not to save the world by sacrificing himself and never giving him a second chance to love, NO. He was supposed to be saved and find new people (it could have perfectly been Sonic and co) that he'd once again consider as friends or family WHILE still remembering Maria!! THAT WAS THE BEST END FOR SHADOW!!^@%!%

Sonic felt Shadow's loneliness and sadness because he also lost someone dear to him and also went through a lonely period of time (remember the first movie and how sonic was dealing with loneliness at the beginning) HE COULD HAVE PERFECTLY ENDED LIKE SHADOW!

Sonic didn't end up like him because he found a family and friends that cared about him and taught him to understand that anger wouldn't lead him to anything good at the end, that he had to follow his lungs heart to make the best choices.

You see it, right? Shadow and Sonic were parallels at some point. They went through the same past but one allowed his anger to consume him because he never found a comforting family that would support him (Shadow) and the other one learnt, thanks to his family and friends, that allowing said anger to consume his heart would blind him and not allow him to take the best decisions for his family and friends (that's Sonic!)

ALSO☝️ Sonic, when he saw where Shadow was confined, said something like "if I had lived like this, I would've also turned into a villain" or something along those lines😭

Then, if Sonic was aware of what caused Shadow to end up like that, WHY DIDN'T HE AND THE REST TRY TO SAVE HIM AT THE END END!?!?!? WHY, JUST WHYYYYYY I DON'T WANT TO ACCEPT THISSS;@!&+&@(×*×(×*×(×(×(×

+ Dr. Robotnik's death was so emotional, I fucking loved it! I loved his character in every movie, actually. So let's be honest, he carried the whole thing

I actually loved Sonic 3, btw. I freaking love this blue hedgehog and this saga of movies. I can't wait for the fourth movie because we will able to see METAL SONIC AAAAAA!1!1!1

I had a lot of fun and the production was amazing too. For the standards of younger audiences, it was a 10/10. I know, because my little bro said so, and he's a kid, so he's right, jahsjashjs

It was just that little aspect of Shadow's character that made me mildly annoyed (because he's my fave along with Tails okay😭) but I'm aware it's a kids' movie, and it has already given a lot. Seriously, it had a good and simple message, good music, good action sequences, the cgi was amazing... everything was a 10, really. I just wanted some justice for my chocolate sweet bun Shadow, that's all.

If they gave him that ending with the future plan of bringing him back, they could have just let him live/? so idk, I didn't like that conclusion for him, okay ｡ﾟ(TヮT)ﾟ｡
