Present Day
âNu-uh.â Bucky glanced at his watch. âSheâll be here any minute, and I need to get to the airport.â
âIâm coming with you!â Jade yelled, already bolting to her room to change.
âWhy the sudden interest in coming along?â Bucky called after her.
âBecause you wonât tell me the rest of the story, so Iâll ask Mom instead!â she shouted back.
Bucky froze for a moment, muttering under his breath, 'Well, shit.' Then he called out, âHer version will be way more dramatic!â
Jade popped her head out of her room, gasping with excitement. âI have to hear it from her now! Letâs go!â
After a long drive, the two finally arrived at the airport. Standing near the arrival gate, Bucky shifted impatiently while Jade scanned the crowd.
Finally, you appeared, wheeling your suitcase behind you.
âMom!â Jade ran toward you, wrapping you in a tight hug.
You blinked, startled but touched. âJade? I didnât expect you to come along with your dad!â
Speaking of which, Bucky huffed quietly, clearly annoyed that he missed the chance to hug you first. Instead, he settled for a side hug, leaning in and murmuring, âWelcome home,â before grabbing your suitcase.
You smiled warmly and kissed his cheek. âThanks.â
âI thought youâd be staying another week,â he said as the three of you began walking to the car.
âI wasnât feeling great, and being sick abroad just made me more homesick,â you explained. As a game development director, youâd been away overseeing the final stages of a new project. It had been a long trip, and you were glad to be back.
Bucky asked, his voice laced with concern, "Are you alright, dear? Have you checked with the hospital? I'll call our doctor."
You shook your head gently, a soft smile playing on your lips. "No, babe. I've got the results, and everything's alright."
Relief washed over Bucky and Jade's faces. Bucky let out a sigh of relief, his shoulders relaxing. Jade, on the other hand, beamed with joy, her eyes sparkling with happiness.
âMom,â Jade whispered conspiratorially in your ear. âDad told me he kidnapped you from Clark Jordan.â
Your eyes widened in shock. âHe did?â You turned to glare at Bucky, who rolled his eyes dramatically.
âLetâs just go home,â he grumbled, ignoring your laughter and Jadeâs giggles.
On the way back, Jade couldnât hold in her curiosity. âMom, what happened next after Clark hit Dad?â
You smirked knowingly. âOh, he told you about that part, huh?â
âYup,â Jade said eagerly, leaning forward in her seat.
You shook your head, chuckling as the memory came back. âWell...â

Flashback
Clark arrived at the location in a rush, his wedding suit slightly disheveled, the jacket discarded in his haste. His tie hung loose around his neck, and his face was etched with determination. Heâd come as soon as he could after getting the tip-off about your whereabouts.
Bursting onto the scene, he froze when he saw you and Bucky. The two of you were arguingâyour words sharp, your tone frustratedâbut there was something unspoken between you. A connection Clark could sense but had never felt with you himself. It wasnât just Buckyâs audacity that made him furious; it was the realization that something deeper existed between the two of you, something he would never have.
Without thinking, Clark lunged at Bucky, his fist connecting with his jaw. Bucky staggered back but quickly caught himself, his own eyes blazing with fury. He grabbed Clark by the shirt, stopping the second punch, and delivered one of his own in return.
âStop it!â you yelled, stepping between them.
Both men froze, fists mid-air, their heavy breathing filling the tense silence. They glared at each other, neither saying a word, the tension crackling between them.
You felt a pang of fearânot for your physical safety, but for what might happen to Bucky. Clark wasnât just a powerful man; his family had the connections to ruin someoneâs life with a single phone call. You couldnât let that happen.
âWe should go back,â you said softly, your voice trembling.
Bucky flinched, his arm dropping to his side. He stared at you, stunned. âWhat?â
Clark took the opportunity to grab your arm gently, his grip firm but not harsh. âLetâs go.â
As he led you away, you couldnât help but glance back over your shoulder. Bucky was still standing there, watching you. His expression was unreadable, but you couldnât help the small flicker of disappointment in your chest. Youâd hoped, even for a second, that he would stop you, but he didnât move.
---
In the car, Clark broke the silence first. âAre you okay? Did he hurt you?â His voice was calm, but his worry was clear.
âNo, he didnât do anything,â you reassured him.
He let out a long sigh, relief washing over his face. âThank God.â
You hesitated before speaking again. âClark⊠about the wedding.â
He cut you off gently. âItâs alright.â
You blinked in surprise. Clark had always been kind and patient, but this⊠this was different. He seemed far too calm for someone whose fiancée had just been kidnapped.
âYou must have been terrified,â he continued, his gaze focused on the road. âOut of the blue, someone takes you away. My heart nearly stopped.â
âIâm fine,â you said softly. âHe wouldnât hurt me.â
Clarkâs knuckles tightened on the steering wheel. âIâm getting a restraining order. He wonât come near you again.â
âItâs not that simple,â you said quickly, but he cut you off again.
âHe kidnapped you, and youâre still not mad at him?â His voice was quiet but filled with hurt.
You flinched at his words.
âI knew you're a brave woman,â he said after a long pause. âI heard you went into a store with him. You couldâve screamed for help, but you didnât.â He glanced at you briefly, his tone full of disbelief. âIt seems like you were willing to go with him.â
Silence fell between you, the weight of his words pressing down.
Finally, Clark spoke again, his voice soft but resolute. âThe weddingâs canceled.â
âWhat?â you whispered, taken aback.
âI realized something today,â he said, his tone calm yet firm. âYouâre not the one for me.â
You stared at him, struggling to find the words.
âI saw the way you looked at him,â he continued. âThe way you argued, the fire in your eyes. Itâs something Iâve never had with you. Heâs the one for you, not me.â
You couldnât deny it. âIâm sorry,â you said, your voice barely above a whisper.
âI am too,â he said with a sad smile. âI thought maybe there was a chance for us. But it seems like youâre meant to be with someone else.â
âYouâll find someone whoâs right for you,â you said softly, genuinely.
Before either of you could say more, a loud whirring sound filled the air. You both looked up to see a helicopter hovering above the car.
âWhat the hell?â Clark exclaimed as you saw the door open.
There, standing boldly with a megaphone in hand, was Bucky. âStop! In the name of love!â he shouted.
âWhat the fuck!â you and Clark said in unison.
Clark pulled the car over as the helicopter landed in the middle of the road.
You turned to Bucky as he stepped out. âSeriously?â
Bucky shrugged, a grin tugging at his lips. âI had to make a grand entrance.â He extended his hand toward you.
You glanced at Clark apologetically. âIâm sorry.â
Clark nodded, his face pained but understanding. âGo. Before you make my heart bleed even more.â
You stepped out of the car, your heart pounding as you took Buckyâs hand. He helped you into the helicopter, securing your seatbelt and placing a headset over your ears.
As Bucky climbed in, Clark called out, his curiosity getting the better of him. âWhat exactly did you do? How did you even afford this?â
Bucky smirked. âIâm the owner of Bitcoin.â
Clark's jaw dropped. "You?!" He had invested some money in crypto and knew a bit about the Bitcoin story, particularly the anonymous creator's preference for secrecy. Could Bucky be the creator of this coin?
Bucky shrugged. âYeah. I like to keep it low-key.â
Clark muttered to himself, still stunned. âUnbelievable.â
Bucky offered a hand in truce. âHey, man. Iâm sorry I ruined your day.â
âAnd Iâll hate you for it,â Clark said honestly, shaking his hand. âBut at least everythingâs clear now.â
Bucky nodded. âYouâre a good guy. I hope you find someone whoâs perfect for you.â
With that, he climbed into the helicopter and shut the door.
You turned to him, raising an eyebrow. âSo, what now?â
âWe finish your bucket list,â he said with a grin.
You sighed. âNo, we donât.â
âWhy not?â
âBecause someone will definitely stop us,â you said knowingly.
âWho?â
âMy dad,â you said flatly.
Buckyâs face fell. âOh, fuck.â
Present Day
âI feel bad for Clark,â Jade sniffled from the backseat, dabbing her eyes dramatically with a tissue.
Bucky groaned, gripping the steering wheel tighter. âOh, come on. Heâs fine. Stop acting like this is some soap opera.â
Jade ignored him, her phone in hand as she scrolled through a quick search. âWait a minuteâoh! Clark got married two years after you two. To his childhood friend! And they have⊠five kids?! Woah!â
Bucky raised an eyebrow but said nothing, keeping his focus on the road.
âAt least he got his happy ending,â Jade murmured, her tone softening. Then her eyes sparkled with realization. âWhat about Grandpapa? How did Dad win him over?â
Your lips curved into a sly smile as you glanced at Bucky, who suddenly looked tense. âLetâs just say Clark was a beginner level, but your grandfather? He was the Grandmaster level boss.â
âOh, great. I hate this part,â Bucky muttered under his breath, his face a mix of annoyance and dread.
Jade leaned forward, her curiosity piqued even more by her fatherâs reaction. âTell me everything!â she pressed, her eyes gleaming with excitement.

Japanese QL Corner
We have officially entered another bangers only era for Japanese queer media; I am loving all of these currently airing shows. These are all streaming on Gaga or provided via fansub (feel free to ask if you donât know where to find them).
Our Youth
This show is killing me with the quiet yearning and the push and pull and Hirukawa's whole entire deal. The way Hirukawa and Minase keep drawing closer together before stepping back. The way they have created their own little bubble in Minase's home, and how they can't be that way together in other spaces. The way Hirukawa is so desperate to be close to Minase and Minase clearly wants it too, but doesn't really understand himself yet and so keeps rejecting it. I was so sad when Hirukawa admitted he provoked his dad on purpose so that Minase would let him back in; I hope Minase will ease off on the barriers from here on out. I know something bad is coming and I just want them to have a little bit of happiness before we get there.
Love is Like a Poison
The battle couple was tested this week as we finally found out Haruto's connection to this case with an assist from the lady restaurant owner, his past as a con artist was revealed to Shiba's employer, and Shiba's boss demanded that he cut ties. I was so very proud of Shiba when he did not waver about what is most important to him, and worried when Haruto took off and left his ring behind. I'm keeping the faith, though; I don't think Haruto is leaving Shiba.
Love in the Air Koi
Okay, first of all, let me get a scream out about that sex scene, because good god did they deliver. Nagumo Shoma is a gift to us all (I will be seeing that back roll in my dreams), and I thought their chemistry now that Rei has figured himself out was fantastic. The whole sequence from the time they left the race track was beautifully shot and performed, and the intimacy felt very real. Aside from the sex, one of the things I like most about this narrative is the belief that a relationship can be the reason you get your life together rather than a distraction from your goals. Rei has all the skills, but he's been lacking focus and drive, and that's exactly what Arashi is giving him. I really liked the way this episode weaved their different subplots together to show them both working toward something, and how their success brought them together in the end. They are good for each other! I also really loved all the Rei and Kai moments in this episode, and that Kai continues to be a perceptive and supportive friend. Kai's own story is coming soon, and we got our first glimpses of it at the end of today's episode. I'm impressed with how this adaptation has streamlined the story to cover every important beat in half the time without ever short changing the relationships.
The Fragrance You Inherit
This week Sakura was reunited with her long lost love via their scheming children, and I loved every minute. My favorite thing about this drama is the relationship writing. Sakura and Toki have such a lovely bond, and I like that he realized after surprising his mom with Mone that it may have been insensitive, and that he cared enough to check in with her about it. Sakura is also a great mom, supportive of his relationship and sensitive to his feelings even as she is grappling with her own shock at this reunion. I also really love that Sakura has such a good friend in Ryosuke (who continues to flag as queer to me). I'm excited to get to know Mone better as an adult and see where the story takes us. You can find the show here, with big thanks as always to @isaksbestpillow for providing English subs.

May I request more RoD Fuyuhiko and kidnapped Makoto? đ©
Oh boy, I've imagined this so many ways. Right now, I'm kind of into the idea of it being a very formal and dignified kidnapping.
Like, he's got that three-piece suit brand of villainy; he could send Peko to knock Makoto out and drag him home (and if they were close/dating in school, he does think of his home as Makoto's home, however complicated his feelings are now), but more likely he's sending a car to block Makoto's (walking) path and Peko climbs out and informs Makoto that the head of the yakuza would like a word and it's nonnegotiable.
Ideally (for Fuyuhiko), he does this before the Future Foundation gets to Makoto, but he'll find a way after, if needed. (And it's perhaps more interesting, story-wise, if Makoto has at least spent a couple of days with Future Foundation before Fuyuhiko can abduct him.) Whatever the case, he'll make arrangements to get Makoto alone, a car will pull up in front of him, and:
"Makoto Naegi," the gray-haired woman says. (Not like a question; it hasn't been a question since the killing game. At least, not a genuine one. It's so weird, to have other people know his name before he knows theirs.) "Your presence has been requested. The boss asks that you get in the car without making a scene, and nobody gets hurt."
"The boss?"
"You won't know the details until you meet the boss in person." The young woman shifts her shoulders in a way that subtly hefts the sword bag strapped to her backâ which she hasn't yet reached for. "Will you come willingly and save the lives of the companions who have lost track of you already, or will you resist, be taken by force, and guarantee the blood of your companions is shed?"
Makoto's confused demeanor hardens, sharpens, the adrenaline pumping in his veins sending him right into trial mode, ready to argue, to push his way to the right answer.
But before an argument can form in his mouth, he takes another breath. And he says, "They won't be harmed if I get in the car?"
They will lie to you, he's been told. They will trick you. It's not like Enoshima's game; those aligned with despair have no rules, no honor. Especially not if they valued those things before.
"The boss gives his word," the young woman replies. "They won't be harmed."
If she's telling the truth, then he has to get in the car. If she's not...then she still has a sword, is the thing. And even without it, she's bigger and he's alone.
"Then I hope your boss doesn't squander his word," Makoto says warily.
"And I hope you aren't stalling." Strangely, the young woman smirks. The look she's giving him now is almost fond. "I've told you once before that you aren't good at it. But you don't remember that, do you?"
Before he can wrap his head around that, gunshots start going off somewhere.
Makoto's blood runs cold, at the sound of far-off screams. "You said they wouldn't-!"
The young woman merely sighs, rolling her eyes and drawing her sword from her bag as languidly as though it's a tedious chore. "They're early," she says. "Heads will roll for that. My master wanted you to come willingly. It would have pleased him a great deal."
Makoto does his best to run, but she strikes him with the hilt just hard enough to dizzy (and no doubt bruise) him, and while he's disoriented, she hauls him into the car and locks the doors.
She buckles him in while he's blinking the stars out of his eyes and nursing the sore spot. By the time he's steadied himself enough to try to unbuckle himself or reach for the car door, her blade is already hovering at his throat.
She's sitting beside him, also buckled in. The car has started movingâ some faceless driver, divided from them by tinted glass. "My master would prefer that I deliver you to him untied," she informs him, "but I am permitted to bind your wrists and ankles, should you make it necessary."
"Who are you?" he asks.
"You don't need a name to address me, with only two of us here. And once I deliver you to the boss, there will be no need for you to address me at all."
"But who are you?"
With a single, almost imperceptibly swift motion, her sword returns to its bag. "I am the sword on my back," she answers. "Don't waste your questions on a sword."
He falls asleep in the car; it's a long-ish ride. He doesn't mean to nod off, but subconsciously there's an assumption that when the car stops, he'll naturally wake up.
This does not happen.
Instead, he wakes up in someone's private study.
There are bookshelves, a big wooden desk and cushioned chair. The lights are off, but there's a fire in the fireplace. Makoto is sprawled across a small couch. The gray-haired woman stands with her back to the wall and her hands folded.
And a small figure stands warming by the fire. His back to Makoto, his whole form shadowed.
"You know," the young man says, "I really didn't expect you to survive."
Makoto's hand finds the sore spot on his head again. (For some reason, he's thinking of Mondo.) "I, uh, get that a lot."
A breathy laugh. "I'll fvcking bet. What else do you get a lot?"
"...That I'm short in person? That I should've told someone about Sakura. That I should see a doctor, because that fall might have caused internal damage. That my voice sounded kind of squeaky on TV. That my eyes actually look browner than they expected, or greener. That Sayaka..." He trails off. People...say a lot of things about Sayaka. That they used to be a fan of hers but would never see her the same, that they were still a fan and they hoped it was okay with him, that they'd been rooting for Makoto to figure out her plan before...Yeah, they say a lot of things.
Why is he telling a stranger any of this?
Is he stalling, knowing this conversation is likely to get a lot less friendly soon?
It doesn't feel like it. He does feel the dread of knowing that this abduction is clearly not a friendly one; he heard the gunshots earlier. He remembers that. But something in the way the young man at the fireplace laughed, the way the gray-haired woman smiled, before...He doesn't know them, but it seems like they know him. Not in the way of the people who feel they know him from watching the killing game. Talking to them feels like talking to people who actually know him.
"That Maizono b!tch," the young man scoffs. "I could have thrown up, watching you fawn over her fake *ss all over again."
And just like that, Makoto's curiosity takes a back seat. "Don't call her that!"
"Traitor-*ss b!tch. I was glad she died first."
Makoto springs to his feet, but he's barely taken two steps in the young man's direction before the gray-haired woman has once again blocked him with the edge of her blade. "Sayaka wasn't a traitor! She never wanted to hurt anyone! That was just what Junko drove her to!"
"...And that's saying something," the young man continues, ignoring Makoto's interruption, "because I was really wondering what it would feel like to watch you die. What I would become, after. I was really fvcking curious. Still am."
Makoto's fear doesn't supersede his anger; it just shapes it. "I don't know who you are," he says bluntly.
The young man's head turns slightly, but other than that he doesn't respond.
"Who are you?"
"The kid wants an introduction." His head turns toward the gray-haired woman. Though Makoto can't see his face, the smirk is audible in his voice as he continues, "Only, suppose we like to be forgotten."
"I figured you were probably someone I used to know...right?"
Once again, no verbal answer.
"Both of you," he continues. "Maybe...from my time at Hope's Peak Academy, or maybe-"
"Did I say his *ss could speak?" the young man inquires.
"You didn't, Young Master," the gray-haired woman says.
"I don't know what you want with me," Makoto continues firmly. "Or, what you think you're getting out of bringing me here, so it would help if you'd just tell me." After a second of silence, he added, "If you're someone who thinks I killed Junko-"
"You didn't kill Junko." The young man turns to face Makoto, but the darkness in the room and the fire at his back still make it impossible to really see his face. "Junko went out on her own terms. You didn't even push the button; all you did was win an unwinnable game. And those dumb*sses sure were desperate to hitch themselves to a winner."
"Who are you?"
"Don't get me wrong, I'm still fvcking pissed off that we all missed out on Plan A. She told us all about the execution she'd put herself through if she somehow lost, but Plan A was always a surprise. She was so sure she'd win."
"Who are you?"
"But that's not why you're here." Suddenly, the young man grabs a fistful of Makoto's shirt and drags him close. They're face to face. Makoto sees golden eyes and freckles. "No, you're here because I was denied the chance to watch you die. And like I said, I'm really fvcking curious."
Before Makoto can conceive of a response, he is shoved backwards to the carpeted floor.
"Take him to his room."
"H-Hey...!" Makoto winces as the gray-haired woman grabs him by the upper arm, yanks him to his feet, and drags him from the room.

The Reader gets jealous/upset because Sukuna gets Concubines, with a happy ending though. pleaseeeee
Wish I didnât care
Tags: true form!Sukuna x fem!Reader, king!Sukuna, royal au (?), angst, hurt/comfort, happy ending i promise
An: Ooo, this was such a good idea. Thank you for requesting it from me!! I hope itâs everything you wanted!!
Sukuna never felt the need to give you a title for being in his life. To him, titles were superficial⊠There wasnât a title in the world that could explain or encompass the complexities of his relationship with you.
However, you, coming from the mortal realm, wanted a title. Itâs not that you wanted the power that was associated with being the betrothed of the King of Curses. You just wanted to feel.. irreplaceable to him.
So, to make you happy, you were his wife.
Kings rarely ever are allowed the luxury of marrying for love. Most kings marry daughters of other powerful kings to create allies between nations. However, Sukuna didnât need allies. He didnât need to marry for power when he had more power than he knew what to even do with.
Everything was simply childâs play for him. He even stopped trying to conquer the mortal realm because it was just too damn easy for him. The âsorcerersâ could barely even put up a fight. It was embarrassing.
Life was truly becoming boring for him.
That was, until a female curse was delivered straight to his chamber. He was confused and honestly pissed that Uraume would simply guide this harlot into his chambers without his permission. Only you were granted such luxuries.
He was leisurely splayed in his bed with no cloth to cover himself. He truly appreciated the concept of being completely in his own skin at all times, and he often encouraged you to do the same. Though, he also learned to appreciate your more modest approach. You didnât have to show any skin to get Sukuna riled up.
âState your purpose.â His voice was low and menacing as he spoke to the woman. He slipped his robes on over his shoulders, tying it in the front so he was no longer exposing himself.
âMy father sends his regards. Says that a newly wedded king deserves a âfreshâ concubine.â The girl spoke with no humility towards him.
Sukunaâs face twisted in disgust that her dad would even suggest such a thing. He was even more put off that she described herself as âfreshâ as if she were a type of vegetable in the garden.
âYour father can kindly go fuck himself. Iâm not interested.â He responds coldly, and his large palm grabs onto her shoulder with the intention of throwing her out of his chambers. He knew that if you saw her here, youâd probably be devastated.
âMy lord-â
âI am not your anything. You address me as Lord or King, but make no mistake. I am not your lord.â He rudely cuts her off, not letting her think she has any sort of claim to him.
âOkay, Lord Sukuna, whenâs the last time sheâs fulfilled her wifely duties? I can see sheâs not in here tending to you now, right? Sheâd probably feel grateful that youâre being satisfied around the clock.â The concubineâs voice was like a purr, and she looked up at him with eyes thatâd rival a sirenâs.
And for a split second, Sukuna almost considers her offer.
âYouâll never believe it, Kuna!â Your happy voice fills the air, and the door swings open to reveal you holding a small flower in your hand. âI got a jasmine to bl-â Your eyes fall upon to scene in front of you.
Sukunaâs towering over an unfamiliar woman. His hand is touching her neck and shoulder area, while she has her hand leisurely pressed against his bicep.
âWhoâs.. this?â You quietly ask, and immediately, Sukuna can feel a strange feeling pour into him. It feels like⊠guilt? He regrets even momentarily entertaining the idea about this harlot occupying his bed.
âNobody-â
âOh my lady, itâs nice to meet you. I apologize. Lord Sukuna and I were just getting aquatinted with each other since weâll be seeing each other a lot from now on.â The serpent of a female cuts him off, and he immediately realizes just what this is. Whichever king decided to send her is hoping to ruin his marriage. Sheâs quite literally a snake in his garden, trying to ward his wife away from him.
âI donât⊠understand.â The way your voice sounds so small. The small pout upon your lips. The way the flower you were once carrying with such confidence is now sagging in your hand. Fuck. Sukuna felt like a complete imbecile.
âOh, come on now. You know he has needs that are beyond your abilities. Iâll lay with him when youâre too-â
âEnough.â Sukunaâs voice snaps. His teeth grit together as he practically drags the woman out of his chambers. âGo fuck off for a while. Iâll deal with you later.â The door immediately slams in her face.
After a moment of trying to comprehend what just happened and how it all happened so quickly, Sukuna slowly turns to you. It feels like a gut punch once he sees the tears brimming in your eyes.
âThat wasnâtâŠâ
âYou took up a concubine?â You ask in a sniffle. Your hands are barely even holding the jasmine thatâs you were once so excited to show him. Flowers rarely ever bloom in Sukunaâs desolate kingdom, but with hard work and determination, you had gotten a jasmine to bloom in his kingdom.
âNo, she was sent to me. I didnât seek her out.â He tries to dispel the claims while he slowly approaches you. His chest aches as he watches you take a step back away from him. âDo not cower from me, woman.â
âWas I not good enough? Was I not doing enough for you..? I thought⊠I thought it was good, b-but I can try harder.â Your voice is so shaky, and you wonât even look him in the eye. What has he done?
âSilence. You will not speak of yourself like that to me.â Sukuna orders, and he takes another step forward. You take another step back with another sniffle. Your tears are streaming down your cheeks.
âPleaseâŠâ The word sounds foreign on his tongue. Heâs never ever pleaded for anything in his life. He could simply take what he wants, but he doesnât want to hurt his delicate flower. He wants her to seek out comfort in him. âPlease donât cower. It was not like that. She showed up at my door, spoke of lies and filth, and I was trying to throw her out when you walked in.â
âSo you didnât even con..consider taking her on as a concubine?â You ask while you rub the tears away with the back of your hands. Hopefully, this was all just a poorly timed miscommunication.
Sukuna takes a moment before responding. He has two options. He could tell you a white lie that would instantly comfort you, but it would be a lie. Or he could tell you the truth and face the consequences of his actions.
âIt was one moment of weakness.â He replies carefully.
He instantly wishes he just lied from the way your face immediately twisted in disappointment and pure hurt. The jasmine falls from your hands, and your footsteps trail away from his chambers, leaving him dumbfounded.
Sukuna is immediately on your trail, unable to let you be. He needs to fix this. His dear wife is upset, and itâs all his fault.
A pair of hands slither up his arm as he walks. He already knows whoâs touching him based off the nasty feeling from their contact. âMy lord, let her be. She needs to-â
âDismantle.â The concubineâs body drops to the floor in two, split directly at her waist. He had warned her already about referring to him as her lord. She didnât deserve to speak of you so carelessly, and she didnât deserve to live after causing this rift in his marriage.
Sukuna continues on his hunt for you without another hitch, leaving the harlotâs body right where she once stood for one of the servants to clean up.
He searches for you in all your usual spots: the gardens, the kitchen, the library, the rooftop. Youâre no where to be found. You donât want to be found. He starts to wonder around his perimeter. The longer he goes without finding you; the more his heart starts to race.
Did you leave him? Did he lose you for good?
The thought of not having his delicate flower by his side makes his body feel ill. You mustâve placed some sort of binding curse on him, but he didnât necessarily mind.
Heâs close to waging war when he finally sees your small human body tucked underneath a weeping willow on a bed of grass. His body moves on itâs own: running to you. Whenâs the last time heâs ran like this?
Crouching over you, he can see no visible injuries on your body, but he knows heâs wounded your heart with his foolish actions. How could he ever have a wandering eye when you were the real prize?
His four arms carefully scoop you up and cradle your body as he takes a seat underneath the willow. Your poor cheeks are flushed and tear stained. Your eyes and lips are so puffy. You mustâve tired yourself out from crying.
âIâm sorry, flower.â He whispers softly, even if your eyes are still resting. He pulls your body closer to his chest, and he contemplates when he started becoming so soft for you.
A part of him hates it. That small unconscious voice of his telling him that he shouldnât concern himself with the feelings of a mere mortal, but the bigger part of him knows that he canât just ignore you. He cares far too much for you.
âKuna..?â You murmur as your hands rub your eyes. Youâre immediately met with remembering just why you had fallen asleep. âI do not wish to see you right now.â
Sukuna chuckles quietly from your defiant little comment. It reminds him of when you first arrived to his estate. âThen close your eyes.â He simply states as one of his hands start to comb through your hair. âWoman, tell me what to do to fix this.â
You shift your gaze away from him with a small huff. If he wasnât so much bigger than you, youâd try to wiggle away from him. However, you know it is of no use. âI donât know, Kuna.â Your words are sharp and still so full of emotion. âImagine how youâd feel if I told you I contemplated sleeping with someone else⊠in a moment of weakness.â
The sheer thought of it has Sukunaâs anger burning up like an inferno. Youâre his delicate flower. No one would even know how to take care of you like he can. His arms subtly tighten around your frame. âIâd kill every man you gaze at.â
âWell, men can rest easy because I only have eyes for you.â You mutter while rolling your eyes. âI love you so much that the thought of being with someone else repulses me, and it⊠just really hurts that you donât feel the same.â
âFlower, I took you for granted. It was a brief moment of contemplation, but I instantly decided against it. I did not desire her in the slightest.â Sukuna tries to explain, and his hand gently brushes against your soft cheek.
âYou still donât deny that you donât feel the same for me.â You respond quietly, still not giving him the satisfaction of you looking at him.
âYou are everything to me. I will not lose sight of whatâs important again.â
âKuna.â You finally look up at him, and you frown slightly. Sukuna secretly adores the little nicknames you have adorned him with, but heâd never admit it.
âWhat is it, woman?â He asks, titling his head to the side a bit to get a better look at your face. Youâre so pretty in his lap like this.
âDo you love me?â You quietly ask, even if you can already hear his voice telling you âdo not ask questions you donât want answers toâ⊠because even if heâs the incarnate of evil, Sukuna will not lie. Liars are weak cowards who canât get jobs done by being upfront. Sukuna isnât afraid of what the truth is.
Your husband contemplates your question for a moment. He thinks about how disgusting that wannabe concubine was. He thinks about how you preoccupy his mind majority of the time. He thinks about the weird mix of feelings he has felt today in your absence.
âWhat I feel for you⊠is probably the closest to love that Iâll ever get.â Sukuna responds, carefully choosing his words. âYou, my flower, are the only thing that keeps me grounded to the mortal plains.â
You give him the best smile you can muster despite the disappointment that you feel since he wonât tell you that he loves you. You suppose you have no one to blame other than yourself. Sukuna told you when he married you not to get your hopes up for love, but you still canât help but crave that sort of affection from him.
âI donât like seeing you upset, flower.â He speaks tenderly as his thumb brushes against your bottom lip. âIf I could, Iâd snap my fingers and assure you that I love you whole heartedly. It just not in my genetic code.â
âI know⊠Iâm grateful for your effort at least.â You murmur as you wrap your arms around his neck.
His arms wrap around you, cradling you to his chest. He inhales deeply, savoring your sweet scent that he enjoys so much. âAm I forgiven, woman?â
âMmm, no.â You smile cheekily in his embrace, and Sukuna chuckles heartily.
âOh? Is someone going to use this blunder to her advantage?â When you nod in his shoulder, Sukuna lays back against the soft pillowy grass. âThatâs my girl. Go on. Make me work for your forgiveness.â
On a completely unrelated note, Sukuna had that harlotâs body mailed back to her father as a âthank youâ for sending a whore to his kingdom.

Cuffing Szn â„ïž
Max Verstappen x MidSize!Reader
it's cuffing season and all the girls are leaving to get a big boy (I need a big boy, give me a big boy)
As Max Verstappen's new girlfriend, you're one of the few WAGs on the grid who isn't a model and the only one, you think self consciously, who doesn't look like a model either. Good thing your big, strong boyfriend is here to set the record straight about how much he disagrees with you.
Content includes: 18+ MDNI, trigger warning: explicit discussion about eating disorder and body dysmorphia, dom!max, sub!reader, size kink, this is just a shameless excuse for me to write smut about max's thighs, 3.3k WC
When you'd delivered one of your favourite patient's 3rd baby, handing over the healthy, crying pale blob (after thoroughly wiping it down because, you know) with a congratulations, Victoria, its a boy! you hadn't expected to catch the eye of the patient's very attractive, tall older brother at her side.
But as you walked off down the hallway once the baby checks were done, you were surprised to find Max stopping you with a large but gentle hand on your shoulder. You'd seen him a couple of times in Victoria's pregnancy, accompanying her and her husband at the ultrasound checks leading upto the delivery. You'd secretly thought he was so adorable with the way he handled his nieces and nephews patiently while his sister got scanned.
You'd also thought he looked positively delectable in his white linen shirt that highlighted his broad shoulders, and skinny jeans that clung to some of the thickest thighs you'd seen a man be blessed with. But making bedroom eyes at patient's hot family members was generally frowned upon (although not explicitly prohibited in the Hippocratic Oath, one could argue) so you promptly forgot about the handsome blonde 5 minutes later when the emergency bell went off.
But he stood before you that day, looking every bit as attractive as you remembered, even more so with a pink dusting on his cheeks as he asked if this was the last time you'd be looking after Victoria?
You tilted your head quizzically at him, your neck a little strained from looking up at his 6 foot frame from your 5"1 one. Yes it is, you informed him, and because new families often got anxious, you sweetly added that it was a good thing, to not see you again, because it meant darling Victoria and her baby are both healthy.
He confuses you again by saying that he was hoping to see you again. Oh! You smile excitedly, are you and your wife expecting? You pull out your clinic card and tell him that you're actually all booked out for the year but you'll make an exception for Victoria's brother.
His blush deepens. (Somewhere in a hospital broom cupboard, Lando Norris was filming this scene unfold and cackling.) Max rapidly explained that he's not expecting. Oh, and he's not married. And also he doesn't have a girlfriend. Basically, I'm single - he finally stammers out. (Rizzless and bitchless, Lando texts him). Thankfully, at this point you had caught on that Max was trying to ask you out, and after a quick phone call to the legal team to confirm you were clear, you turn back around to inform him cheekily that he could pick you up at 8pm Friday night for dinner. (Wait, this actually worked? a flabbergasted Lando now texts.) The emergency pager then goes off so you gently tug on Max's shirt to hint that you want him to bring his face down, give him a goodbye kiss on the cheek, and sprint off to Ward 6.
The dinner goes perfectly, with Max's charm returning in full force after a G&T - Sorry about earlier, schat, you're such a gorgeous woman and a very smart doctor, it makes me nervous - leading to a 2nd date and then a 3rd and then to a weekend trip in a romantic Nice winery, where you can't resist jumping into his muscly arms after a glass of wine and demanding he have his way with you. (He does. Very thoroughly. Multiple times that night, and the morning after. Thinking about it still has you blushing.)
6 months later, you two are officially going out and you're making your first appearance as his girlfriend at the races. You had carefully dressed in a classy Mirror Palais dress, complete with matching heels to save your poor boyfriend having to bend down too much. You'd also become rather turned on at seeing your normally soft, gentle cat dad of a boyfriend turn into an absolute menace once the Redbull suit is zipped up, terrorising his way all the way to P1 and living up to his nickname of the Dutch lion. As his assistant guides you to the podium ceremony, you're stopped by various fans who compliment your outfit and ask for pictures. The media attention is very new to you, as Max had been very insistent on protecting your privacy as you two established yourselves as a couple. But everyone had been so nice today - until you started noticing the dirty looks thrown your way, glaring up and down your form. And then, a couple of snide comments from passing fans about how you were very confident to wear such a body hugging dress, especially with your curvy figure.
You roll your eyes at their clearly jealous tones, and walk over to the podium ceremony to greet your boyfriend. He breaks into an adorable grin when he sees you, his whole face lighting up as he easily scoops you up for a deep kiss. The cameras around you two go crazy, but don't pick up his whispers when he sets you down and leans in, telling you that you looked so pretty today, schat, he'd been staring at you so much GP had to tell him to focus, and how was your first race? nobody gave you a hard time, did they? You don't miss the way his eyes are attentively focused on your face, clearly still worried about the damage he had warned you about before you agreed to go public.
You aren't going to spoil his win over a couple of snide comments. Not at all, baby you reassure, before whispering back that he looked really hot in his tight fireproofs, could he pretty please bring them home later when you give him his reward for such a good performance on the track? The tip of Max's ears go pink as he struggles to maintain a straight face for the cameras. Giggling, you press a kiss to his cheek and murmur you'll see him after his interviews.
Later though, when Max is in his interview across the paddock and you're being introduced to the other WAGs, you can't help but notice how different they all look in their body hugging dresses compared to you. Although you wouldn't be called fat, you aren't slim either, and you're nowhere near the tiny, trim figures the other girls maintain. Once the seed of insecurity is planted, it's very hard to stop it growing out of control - and at each race or public event or launch party you attend at Max's side, you start to pick apart more and more insecurities about yourself. How you're so much shorter than the numerous models on the grid, making you feel childish and round compared to their lithe gracefulness. How their delicate collarbones and ribs can clearly be seen at all times, but yours only if you twisted your neck a certain way. And they're all so lovely, chatting eagerly with you and interested to hear about your work, asking if you'd take so-and-so on as a patient, you had a great reputation already even though you were a new doctor in Monaco! The conversations distract you from your worries for a bit.
But afterwards, when you'd be laughing at cat memes online and sending them to your boyfriend, you'd come across the paparazzi pics of you speaking to the WAGs and felt sick to your stomach at how huge you thought you looked compared to everyone else, clearly standing out as the plainest one amongst their flawless faces. Some of the comments agreed, saying that it was just sad that the best driver on the grid had the ugliest girlfriend, and couldn't Max buy his gf some ozempic with all his tax evasion money? Comments that would have made you laugh at the originality now suddenly had you sobbing, and you're glad you hadn't stayed at Max's tonight and had to explain the state you were in.
When you'd been younger, in college, you'd started struggling with managing your stress levels given you were a perfectionist working towards a very difficult medical degree. Having always been a stress eater, you frequently binged on junk food, and obviously ended up gaining quite a bit of weight. Your family and ex boyfriend had ridiculed you endlessly, and so the year after you had to work hard and lose it all, which you had managed to do. You'd mentioned this to Max in passing, a couple months into dating when he'd spotted an old college picture of you and muttered so fucking cute, pocketing it.
You didn't tell Max about how you'd lost the weight though - with a vicious binging and purging cycle for the better chunk of a year. You'd grown out of that "phase" once you'd left college, or so you thought - because it was almost too easy to slip back into it now, to enjoy the sick pleasure at barely eating all day and seeing the weight drop on the scale, then bingeing on whatever you wanted because it didn't count, you'd throw it up anyways. You had to be very careful with it this time round, because your boyfriend's attentive gaze had been fixed on you even more so than usual - noting how you've been wearing higher heels, how your dresses are still as gorgeous as ever but never body hugging anymore, how you spend hours before a race now perfecting your makeup instead of joining him in the garage and don't spend the nights at his anymore. You weasel your way out of his questions when he asks you repeatedly if everything was okay, schat?
But you weren't able to fool him any longer after attending a charity gala for one of his sponsors. You'd actually been happy with your appearance for once, pleased with your slimmer waist this month, but as the night went on you started to feel the fatigue of starving yourself catching up, leaning more and more into Max's side as he glanced at you with concern. Rubbing your back soothingly, he asked if you wanted to leave early, but you shook your head, murmuring you were okay, your feet just hurt a little is all. He frowned then, hating to see you in pain just to be dressed up for some stupid event he couldn't care less about. Bringing you to the empty lobby, he told you he was going to grab your coats and have the car brought round, end of discussion, you need to rest, okay liefje? You didn't have it in you to protest any longer so just nodded. You hadn't realised just how much you'd been leaning on him until he left, and as stars started entering your vision, Max returned just in time to catch you before you stumbled.
You felt him firmly grab your waist, fully supporting your weight as he led you out to the car, lowering you gently into the seat and even buckling you in. You started feeling a bit better inside his Aston Martin with the aircon on, nibbling on a high protein low calorie bar you'd stashed in your clutch. Regaining your alertness, you notice the tense atmosphere, with a stormy expression on Max's face as he drove rather furiously through the Monaco streets, his hand not even resting on your thigh like it usually did but gripping the wheel tightly. Maxie - you begin uncertainly, hoping to diffuse the tension and ask why he was upset, but he cuts you off with a terse Don't. Let's wait till we're home.
So you wait, until you're both walking in through the front door. Max rips off his suit jacket, rolling up his sleeves, but he still doesn't talk and instead heads to the kitchen. You follow him, sitting on a barstool to admire how he still looked so handsome in the fitted sky blue shirt and tight navy pants, even when he was clearly mad. As Max starts cooking, his back to you, he tells you about how growing up his sister Victoria had to go to therapy for a long time because she wouldn't stop throwing up every time she ate because their father told her she was too fat (despite looking like a buffalo himself, Max snorts as he sets down a simple but delicious plate of chicken pesto pasta with salad in front of you), about how Max has seen countless girlfriends on the paddock purposely avoid eating all day, including his already stick thin model exes, and how Max himself would be called fat every month or the other by some trashy gossip magazine, because the media is just fucking toxic, he hisses. This is why I wanted to keep us hidden away from the cameras. He glances pointedly at your plate, where you've eaten the salad and chicken and not touched your pasta. You sigh and pick up your fork, slowly working your way through the food as you tell him that you suppose your diet had somewhat...spiralled out of control, but honestly, Max, I'm completely fine, and you two can't avoid the cameras forever given how he's the frickin F1 winner at all-
Don't tell me that you're fine. Do you really think I don't know what's going on? Max demands tersely with crossed arms. Finally finished with your meal, you hop off the stool to neatly place your plate in the sink, ignoring his question. Standing behind you, he watches you wash the dishes, still not even reaching his chin, even in those damn 6 inch heels you're still wearing. You do respond when he asks you just why you're putting your body through such torture.
C'mon, Max you say with an eyeroll, You know why, I need to lose some weight, I'm so much heavier compared to all the other girls and all your exes, and you deserve to have a girlfriend who looks-
Don't tell me what I do or don't deserve, schat. I always want the best and that's why I picked you. You're really gonna question the choice of a world champion, hmm? Max's deep voice is now right by your ears as he leans down behind you. You feel a shiver run up the back on your spine as he curls his huge arms possessively around your waist and thighs. He continues his whispers, his hands roaming up to your plush tits and another squeezing your ass, telling you You're so goddamn pretty. Every single part of you, just for me, making you bite your lip and breathily moan from his affections - it'd been a while since he'd had his way with you with all your avoidance, after all.
You feel him slowly unzip your dress, and the silk easily falls to the ground, leaving you only in your stiletto heels and a deep red lingerie set heâd gifted you for your 3 month anniversary. You tense, already feeling self conscious, but before you can say anything Max has wrapped a large hand around your waist and easily flipped you around to sit on the kitchen counter. You gasp from the action, hands automatically going to rest on his broad shoulders as your face comes level with his.
I havenât made it clear just how lucky I am to have such a beautiful girl all to myself, schat, Max says huskily, before pulling away to unbutton his shirt, his blue eyes darkening as they roam over your pretty tits spilling over in the lacey bra, over your cute plush tummy, and over those deliciously soft thighs he adores. His hungry stare is really starting to drive you wild now, and you beg at him to hurry up and finish undressing. Chuckling, he throws his pants to the side as well, now only wearing his tight boxers. He pulls you forward on the counter so you're flush against him. See what you do to me, sweet girl? Hmm? he grinds the very prominent bulge in his boxers against your own damp core, making you gasp. You get me so hard and you haven't even touched me yet, that's the kind of power you have over me.
At his words, you donât hold back from running your hand all along Maxâs well defined chest. Your boyfriend is so much bigger than you and it's incredibly sexy. He towers over you easily with his 6 foot frame, all wide shoulders and swollen biceps and muscled thighs, and you don't hide the hypnotised look in your eyes as you trace from his thick neck down to his slutty waist, desire and desperation coursing through you, replacing any inhibitions you'd had earlier.
He grasps one of your wandering hands in his own, his larger palm easily dwarfing your tiny one and making you bite your lip at the difference in size. His attentive gaze doesn't miss this either, and with a low hmm he brazenly asks if you found it as hot as he did, the fact that you were the perfect size for him to snap into half if he wanted? He knows he's got you right where he wants as your pupils go wide with desire, breath hitching at the thought of your big boyfriend using his strength against you for once.
Then he's pulling apart your pretty little set, lace ripping and a large hand easily wraps around your entire throat, pulling you into a breathless kiss that has you moaning at his skilled tongue. You barely have time to collect yourself when he suddenly lifts you up by the waist, biceps flexing, and your eyes widen as you're lifted impossibly high in the air and find yourself straddling his thick shoulders, his face now at the perfect height to bury his tongue into your dripping pussy right in front of him. Max! you squeal, utterly ruined by his impressive display of strength. You're desperately scrambling for purchase at the cabinets behind you, head banging back against the wall as he relentlessly thrusts his wicked tongue into your puffy folds.
And he only sets you down after you cum obediently all over greedy lips like he demands you to do, then gently carries your shaky form to the bedroom to show you multiple more examples of how you were just made to take him, truly the perfect girl for him, weren't you? You'd been too blissfully fucked out by that point to form a coherent response.
Needless to say, you find yourself caring very little next time strangers had anything to say about the way you looked, thanks to Max's hands on affections (he'd also taken you to therapy like the supportive boyfriend he was, bless him.) He'd quickly formed a personal favourite method to prove to you just how desperate he was for you and how you had the world champion in the palm of your hand, whenever he saw that look flicker into your eyes from time to time. He'd take you back home, make you undress yourself for his hungry gaze, then lift you up into his arms, folding your thighs up against your waist from where he held them. Youâd moan as he slid into you, bouncing your whole body onto his hard cock like you were a ragdoll, making you scream his name endlessly as he fucked you mid-air.
And sometimes, when he was feeling particularly possessive, he'd flip you around, pressing your back to his toned chest, as he made you watch with him in the mirror how he obscenely slid in and out of your dripping pussy. Whispering in your ear that see, like he had told you, he had such good taste, don't I, schat? And as you met his heated gaze through the reflective surface, clenching around him when you saw the pure love and raw desire in his eyes, you couldn't help but agree.

Your heart was beating with an enthusiasm you could barely contain as you made your way to your mother's chambers. The news of her arrival, delivered by one of your ladies that morning, had been a ray of joy in your day. You decided to bring Laenor with you, as the other children were immersed in their usual activities.
As you reached the door to the chambers, the guards opened it wide. You entered with a mix of excitement and nervousness, searching for your mother around the room. You found her resting on one of the luxurious pieces of furniture, her figure elegantly serene.
"My sweet girl," Rhaenyra exclaimed upon seeing you, her eyes shining with a warm, maternal light. She extended her arms towards you, and your heart overflowed with nostalgia as you saw her familiar face, as radiant as ever.
"Mother," you said in a trembling voice, feeling how time faded in her presence. "Father," you added, addressing Daemon as well. The prince, with his usual roguish charm, greeted you with a smile full of affection.
"Iâm so glad youâre here," you said, taking a seat beside her and wasting no time bringing Laenor closer to her arms so she could see him better.
Rhaenyra took the baby with great care, avoiding waking him, as her eyes scanned every detail of Laenor's face with a mix of wonder and joy. She rocked him gently, and you couldnât help but feel immensely proud at that moment.
"Heâs so beautiful," she murmured, her voice filled with sweetness as she stroked the fine, delicate hair of the baby with a trembling hand.
Daemon approached to observe the little one, placing a hand on your shoulder and squeezing it tenderly. "He looks like you," he commented with a sincere smile, which you mirrored on your face.
"Where are Jace and Luke?" you asked, looking for the children around the room. You only saw Joffrey, who was playing with his toys on the floor. You stood up and approached him with a smile.
"Where are Jace and Luke?" you asked, looking for the children around the room. You only saw Joffrey, who was playing with his toys on the floor. You stood up and approached him with a smile.
"Somewhere in the castle," your mother replied, her attention entirely focused on the baby.
"Joff," you called softly, crouching beside him. The dark-haired child turned at your presence, his eyes shining with excitement and surprise.
"Y/N!" he shouted with joy, throwing himself into your arms. You welcomed him in a warm embrace, letting out a small laugh as you held him close.
"Look how much youâve grown," you said, running your hand through his thick, curly brown hair. "Has your dragon hatched yet?"
"Yes, yes, it has," he responded enthusiastically, extending his hands into the air to show you how big it would become. "And it will grow this big."
"I donât doubt it," you said, smiling as you took his hand and stood up. "By the way, I have something to show you."
You guided Joffrey to where you had been sitting before, carefully bringing him closer to Laenor, who had now awakened. His violet eyes scanned the room with curiosity.
"This is your nephew, Laenor," you said, taking Joffrey's hand and gently guiding it to touch the baby's cheek. Laenor directed all his attention toward the boy in front of him. "What do you think?"
"Laenor," Joffrey repeated, seeming to reflect on the name. Suddenly, Laenor smiled and let out a few babbles towards Joffrey, bringing a smile to the older boyâs face. "Look, Mama! Heâs smiling at me!" he exclaimed excitedly, looking at Rhaenyra with joy.
Rhaenyra, touched by the scene, watched her children with a tender expression. "So it seems," she commented, her voice filled with emotion.
They spent some time talking and enjoying their time together until Laenor began to show signs of hunger. You decided to leave to feed the baby, allowing your mother to rest after her long journey.
You walked down the hallways towards the nursery, the place where your children usually played. Just as you turned a corner, you saw Luke and Jace walking back to your motherâs chambers.
"Guys," you called with a smile, and they turned at the sound of your voice. Recognizing you, they quickly approached, with Luke being the first to embrace you immediately.
"Oh, look, Jace," Luke said, pointing to Laenor, whom you were holding in your arms. Without hesitation, Luke extended his arms and took the baby in his hands with a gesture of admiration.
"Where were you?" you asked as you took Jace by the arm and started walking towards the nursery. The two boys followed, with Luke completely absorbed in playing with Laenor.
"In the yard," Jace replied, running a hand lazily through his hair.
"Whatâs his name?" Luke asked, lifting the baby in the air. Laenor let out a series of giggles and small cries of joy, delighted by the game.
"His name is Laenor," you answered with a smile. Jace, upon hearing the name, looked at you with an expression of surprise and nostalgia. "Laenor," he repeated, his voice laden with an emotion that seemed to evoke memories.
They continued walking until they reached the nursery, where you found Aerion, Vaera, and Vaerys, already entertained with their usual games. They werenât alone; Queen Alicent was there, smiling sweetly while playing with the twins, their golden hair shining in the light streaming through the window. Ser Criston Cole, standing nearby, was conversing softly with Aerion, offering a patient smile to the boy, who seemed to be listening intently.
Upon entering the nursery, you paused for a moment to observe Queen Alicent, who looked up from her game with the twins upon noticing your presence. Her face lit up with a friendly smile, but there was still that assessing look that always seemed present in her expression. You inclined your head in a respectful bow. "Your Majesty," you greeted courteously. Jace and Luke, following your example, also bowed, though you noticed the stiffness in their movements, clearly tense in the presence of the queen and her knight.
Alicent returned the greeting with a nod, though it was evident her eyes were now on the baby in Luke's arms. "Y/N," she began in a kindly tone, "I see the little ones are well accompanied today."
"Yes, Your Majesty," you replied with a faint smile. "I wanted my children to spend time with their uncles." Alicent nodded slowly, although a fleeting expression of discomfort crossed her face. It seemed she had noticed the tension in the air.
Ser Criston, ever observant, stepped forward with a slight bow, clearly more directed towards you than your brothers. "Princess," he greeted formally, before stepping back a little from Aerion, giving you the space you needed.
Alicent turned to Criston and nodded slightly, as if they had shared a silent understanding. "Perhaps we should let them enjoy a family moment," she suggested with a polite smile. "Aerion, Vaera, Vaerys," she called softly to the children, "Iâm afraid I must go, but I hope you continue to enjoy your day."
The children nodded obediently, although Aerion seemed slightly disappointed that his conversation with Ser Criston had been interrupted. Alicent waved them off with a gentle gesture before turning and leaving the room, followed by Ser Criston, who gave you one last bow before following her.
With the departure of the queen and her knight, the atmosphere in the nursery immediately relaxed. The children looked at you expectantly, their eyes bright with curiosity as they observed the two boys accompanying you. You smiled, noting the impatience on their faces, and leaned down toward them, ready to make introductions.
"Children," you began, adopting a jovial tone, "I want to introduce you to my brothers. This is Jacaerys, but you can call him Jace," you indicated the older of the two boys, who flashed a friendly smile and nodded. "And this is Lucerys, but we call him Luke," you added, pointing to the younger one, who greeted them with a shy bow.
Aerion, always the most curious of your children, immediately stepped forward, his eyes shining with excitement. "Are you princes?" he asked with a mix of wonder and admiration, his voice full of interest. "Do you have dragons too?"
Luke smiled at the childâs direct question. "Yes, we are princes," he replied modestly, "and we do have dragons. My dragonâs name is Arrax."
Aerion's eyes widened even more, and he wasted no time in asking another question. "Is Arrax big? Does he fly fast? And what about Jace's dragon?"
Jace let out a small laugh at Aerion's enthusiasm, crouching down to be at his height. "My dragonâs name is Vermax," he replied with a warm smile, "and yes, heâs very fast, although not as big as some other dragons. But someday heâll grow much larger."
While Aerion continued bombarding Luke and Jace with questions â"Whatâs it like to fly? Is it scary or fun? Have you ever fallen?"â the twins, Vaera and Vaerys, approached Jace with cautious steps. One of them, Vaerys, gently tugged on his sleeve, her big violet eyes filled with curiosity.
"Is your dragon very pretty?" she asked innocently, her voice sweet like a childâs melody.
Jace, moved by the girls' tenderness, crouched to their level and nodded. "Yes, Vermax is very pretty. He has scales of a deep green color and golden eyes that shine like the sun."
Vaera, the other twin, looked at Jace with growing fascination. "Will you teach us to fly on him someday?" she asked, her cheeks flushing with excitement.
Jace laughed softly. "Well, that might be a little complicated," he replied kindly, "but perhaps we can watch him fly from the ground. I promise you, it's an impressive sight."
The twins exchanged excited glances and squeezed each other, clearly delighted by the idea. Aerion, not stopping, continued firing off questions, while Jace and Luke answered with patience and occasional laughter.
Meanwhile, Laenor had been left to his own devices on the floor, and with the determination of a curious baby, he began to crawl across the ground. Slowly, he made his way toward you, his violet eyes fixed on your face. When he reached you, he grabbed onto your knees, trying to pull himself up with little murmurs of effort. You couldn't help but smile at his perseverance.
"Come on, little warrior!" you encouraged him softly, leaning down to help him get a better grip. Laenor wobbled for a moment, but with a proud smile, he managed to stand up, leaning on you for support. The children's laughter echoed again, contagious with the joy of the moment.

dissecting the emmrich lich romance argument scene (all routes)
dissecting the graveyard scene dissecting the alternate romance path dissecting the emmrich romance scene (lich) emmrich x rook cinematic (lich) emmrich x rook cinematic (mortal)
Dissection - Mortal Emmrich Argument Scene Version
Emmrich Romance - Argument Scene (Lich Path)
i love and hate this scene so let's get into it -
keep in mind that even though emmrich is now a lich, his fear of death is still very much alive. emmrich immediately expresses his feelings to rook stating that he hopes that they can stay back abit in the battle. for fear that they will be hurt, or killed.
the second 'No' escapes Rook's lips, Emmrich bows his head with sadness. He wishes that she would heed his words because he is afraid to lose her.
Rook's response infers that she is offended by the request to have her 'stay back aways' during the battle, keeping in mind that this battle is rook's and she has been fighting it this whole time. yet, rook still shows that she cares for emmrich, by asking what brought this on.
emmrich states that he can see the life course through us, but is aware that he will lose us to time. in this one sentence emmrich is telling us that he is afraid of rook dying, he is deathly afraid to lose rook, and thats not even overselling it. Emmrich is afraid he will miss Rook forever and will never get over it.
which quite frankly, he wouldn't.
Divergence - Option 1
Rook responds with 'Oh, Emmrich' - Rook is calm and considerate in this response, knowing his fears are real to him.
even as I am (a lich) the mind (rationality) is a victim of the heart (love for rook, fear of them dying). even as emmrich is a lich, his fear of death is rampart, now mostly transferred to rook. emmrich is calm when spaeaking, but fear can be heard in his voice.
im no fan of this line, but it's what im working with so - it feels, double barrelled. on one hand telling emmrich he is not great at keeping stuff in because he is emotional and has panic attacks, and in the same sentence telling the big softy to not mourn the love of his life forever.
this line is delivered with some condescension, and honestly, valid, as the previous line feels on par with Divergence Path 2, invalidating emmrichs fears/feeling for rook. in saying that, emmrich is trying to plead with rook to be careful.
valid all around - rook wake up and smell that the man loves you immensely please
he can, and will be, because he is in love with you
facts - once again, hello darkness my old friend, its fear of death calling
ouch ouch ouch ouch ouch ouch ouch
Divergence - Option 2
You ever been mid panic attack and someone cracks a joke? that is exactly emmrichs response and mindset going forward. now watch the anxiety and panic escalate
rook once again, missing the beat, emmrich escalates by reiterating that he is afraid to mourn rook forever. his voice is shaking. this man is breaking his own heart by imaging the death of his beloved. reiterating my point in earlier posts that emmrich, whilst experiencing relationships and love before, hasnt experienced rook and the connection they share. im reiterating my soulmate trope here - and as we continue
i cant defend rook on this point anymore, 3 strikes ur out
defeat slicks off of emmrichs voice as he speaks this line, inferring 'does rook not love me?' 'does she not feel this'
bottom line is rook is in love with emmrich, just as much as he is with her. rook is however pre-occupied with survivng and getting through the battle, whereas emmrich in this moment in knuckled down in black and white thinking - which has been unfortunately backed up by rooks lil jokes. his anger is valid, just as -
Rooks concern with no realsing that Emmrich is having a menty b, is also valid.
both have their defensives up now. rook for upsetting emmrich, and initially being upset at the notion of 'stay back aways in battle' and emmrich for being scared out of his skull that rook will not exist anymore and he has to spend enternity mourning her, also feeling rejected.
Divergence - Option 3
oh jesus -
on god im trying to be non-biased for this but cmon. the man has a gutteral fear of death, he became a lich he was so scared, you were there rook.
valid king
possible, but rook, sweetie, you're being invalidating.
I was gonna make a comment but then -
insert office stare meme
so here - emmrich is clearly tired of trying to explain himself to rook, and rook backfires with just wanting emmrich to be happy, and calling him an idiot. imo, this route is a straight up argument, whilst both path 1 and 2 have some depth to it. I believe it was done this was because when you choose the mortal path for emmrich, it focuses around supporting emmrich to be happy 'in the now', whereas in the lich path, there is no now for emmrich, it is forever, it will always be forever. I believe this path is to show the frustration between rook and emmrich, one being mortal and immortal, whereas the other two paths have a focus of acceptance. whilst not there yet, its apparent.
All routes lead to -
rook has now said something to akin of a personal insult to emmrich, which then leads rook to 'snapping out of it' as their face changes to disbelief 'oh my did I just say that' aka regret, with Emmrich bowing his head and saying "Rook, I..." in response. Rook states that they should pack as they have to leave soon.
if biowares goal was to have me fear for mine and emmrichs life in the upcoming mission, they succeeded.
All routes leave emmrich feeling scared and confused as he looks to the gorund, holding his hands together -
and rook mumbling under their breath, with confusing and 'ugh, i just wanna shake him and kiss him energy' - rook recognises that emmrich is afraid, and their faults in the conversation.
all in all, this is a touch scene, because it is evident how scared they both are and just want the other to survive so they can be safely back home together. the lich version is more centered around death and mourning as they have alreayd broached the l word, where in the mortal version, you can essentially call emmrich a coward. a very heart breaking scene, which adds numerous layers of depth to emmrich and rook as characters who have flaws but are still loved.
imo, i stand tall that emmrich and rook are in love with eachother and it becomes more evident in the next scene. they have this soulmate type of love, the kind where you would hang off the side of a cliff, hanging on by the strength of your index finger if it meant you could save them. the type of love where one look speaks a thousand words. the type of love that a lich lord would go rogue trying to bring their dead love back.
to add on to the soulmate lover trope this snippet from the Flame Eternal short story feat. Emmrich & Johanna where they are burying a deceased lover with another.
"Johanna snorted. âAll that fury, ending in another grave.â âOh, I donât know.â Emmrich ran a hand along the coffinâs snowy marble. âIt would be rather fine to possess such an enduring affection. Besides, you did see this through.â
Emmrich YEARNS for love. YEARNS. He has yearned for the type of love him and Rook have for over 20 years, at least. THE MAN IS RUNNING HIS FINGER ALONG A COFFIN AND ROMANTICING IT. Romanticising possibly, loving someone so much that he is buried with them (quote flashback to Hezenkoss in the final boss battle of "Ill make sure to bury you and your new lover together", now has more depth) or loving someone so much that love would be eternal together, that type of love where you want to be buried together. for over 20 years he has yearned for this love, and he has found it in the middle of the end of the world. please note that emmrich has a fear of abandonement as well like, huge. oh and add in the comment made by Harding in game about Rook and Emmrich moving too fast, please there is only one trope that goes from 0-100 real fucking fast.
Sending thanks to @galedekarios for sharing a conversation between Davrin and Emmrich, here. This post adds a tremendous amount of depth to this argument conversation. I 100% AGREE with Gale's depiction of 'Emmrich not being equipped for lichdom' because it makes sense. If you think back to the lichdom decision scene and dissection, we mentioned how Emmrich had everything he needs to do lichdom. No?? Clearly not. look at what we have just dissected. Then further on the man is practically on his knees begging rook to be careful, telling them that he will find them in another world. In the event of Rooks death, Emmrich would go rogue. He would lose it. Yes, he is a kind and gentle soul, but he has that fire in him. A protective, and obsessive power that he would do anything to bring back his love.
Additionally, Emmrich grew up poor. This would impact his view on society and love. But more impactfully, it would impact his view on himself. His self-worth. Emmrich likely thinks he doesnt deserve this type of love. Hence the attempt to push Rook away and act over-suave at times.
considering dragon age veilguard is centered around the theme of regret, it is no suprise that saying things you regret have showed up in this game, particularly before the eve of battle and impending doom.
ill have the romance scene dissection soon for you hungry necromancer lovers - ill likely do the mortal versions as well

David Gaider on Kieran, under a cut for length:
"CHARACTERS - DAY TWO: Kieran (Technically this is an addendum to yesterday, but I make the rules here so nyah!) Heading into DAI, I had a bite-sized problem on my hands. I knew Morrigan would feature. I also knew we were importing previous choices. So now I had to contend with: the Old God Baby. Here's the thing about honouring previous game choices, from a design perspective: it's a sucker's game. What many fans picture, when you mention it, is divergent *plot* -- the story changes path based on those major choices. How exciting! But you will never be able to deliver divergent plot. You can deliver flavour differences (usually in the form of divergent dialogue), character swaps (character X appears instead of Y), and extra content (such as a side quest) -- but plot branching, particularly the critical path? It's a question of resources, and there's never enough to go around. "Here Lies the Abyss" in DAI was about as good as it gets, and even that was a far cry from how I originally pictured it (hello last-minute insert of Stroud when a DAO Warden import got cut). The Old God Baby was one of the main choices from DAO -- Morrigan has a baby? With the Archdemon's soul?! Most DAO players who flagged that choice surely expected *monumental* consequences. World-shaking consequences! And we talked about it. We did. There were, like, three different designs of the DAI ending where OGB Kieran could cause complete divergence: new path, cutscenes, the whole nine yards. But it wasn't going to happen. It was a decision from *two games ago* that only a small minority (hello telemetry) would even choose. To the rest, they probably neither knew about it nor cared... so how many resources could you invest? To do what? Set up an even bigger divergence for the NEXT game? The other writers acknowledged my anxiety with a grim nod every time it came up, but they had no solutions. Finally, I realized there WAS a solution, and that was changing how I thought about the choice: don't make it about Kieran. The players don't know him, never have. Make it about Morrigan. Thus began a feverish three days where I wrote probably the most complicated scene of my career: Morrigan's reckoning with Flemeth in DAI and the fallout after. Three different versions (OGB Kieran, non-OGB Kieran, and no Kieran), each with branching for other choices (like the Well of Sorrows). I did it all at once. There was no other way to wrap my head around the complexity of it. It was also a tough sell to the team, considering the amount of cinematics work, but they agreed we had to do *something*. And still it felt... underwhelming, insofar as divergence goes. But it was also good. I remember when I first spoke with Claudia, about how this was Morrigan's story. This was about how motherhood had changed her, how she'd grown up. Claudia got a bit teary-eyed. It was a journey she was familiar with, she said. Her first son, Odin, had been born in 2005 not long after DAO came out. And, man, she killed with that performance! Kate, too, but I'll get to her later. Claudia dug down, and that scene where Morrigan tells Flemeth she'll never be the mother Flemeth was to her? That came from someplace very raw. It was devastating to witness in the booth. There were tears all around. Not long after, Claudia called and asked if maybe - just maybe - Odin could play Kieran? He was a bit young (not yet 5, then), but it felt... right? We agreed. Claudia was in the booth, gently coaching him through his lines, and I think that was the first moment I felt I'd done the right thing."
[source thread]
User: "Do you find it an odd choice that Kieran hasnât been mentioned at all in Veilguard?" David Gaider: "If thereâs less reactivity in DATV, Iâm unsurprised. Continuing choice from up to 3 games earlier is⊠unsupportable. Yet DA established the expectation they would so⊠damned if you do, damned if you donât?" [source]
User: "EA is one of the biggest game companies ever. I don't think more complex diverging plots are impossible." David Gaider: "Well, if only more writing was all it took. Sadly, it's also cinematics. Art time for all those reappearing characters you probably want to look *just* right. And let's not forget we have to test all those permutations! So I don't disagree with you in spirit, but I don't think it's the answer here." [source]
User: "is there a possibility of future kieran appearances in a book or something similar outside of the games?" David Gaider: "I'd have no way of knowing that." [source]
User: "Iâm actually shocked so little people chose the dark ritual. That was basically the main reason Flemeth sent Morrigan with the wardens, no?" David Gaider: "The impression you get of what "most" players do - in almost any game, not just DA - is very different if you're online a lot. Consider here that it's not just the % of DAO players who chose the Dark Ritual, it's the % of DAI players WHO PLAYED DAO and cared to import that choice 5 years later." [source]
User: "Is there anything you wish you had done differently, in hindsight?" David Gaider: "Probably just to not ever do importing choices between games in the first place." [source]
User: "Kieran only existed in my DAI state b/c Morrigan as a mother really appealed to me. I wasn't expecting to be devastated by those scenes đ I guess when we complain about lack of consequences from prev choices in DAV we must also ask how MUCH are we willing to pay for those branches to exist?" David Gaider: "That's indeed it. Content directed towards reactivity would have to come from somewhere else. So essentially a shorter game overall for the sake of those hardcore fans who'd import - who would, I imagine, REALLY enjoy that... but it's a tough cost/benefit analysis to make." [source]
User: "mr gaider im gonna keep it real with you if i had to choose between my hof and hawke i would've simply passed away" David Gaider: "Right? That was the ENTIRE idea! I was very excited, and for a while it seemed possible." [source]
User: "This has been a very interesting read but I have to ask why they decided to use Stroud instead of the HoF" David Gaider: "1) Complexity of providing means for a player to build a Warden (which they did in DATV for the Inquisitor). Also spoiled the surprise. 2) Weâd have needed to give the Warden a voice. Add these to the cost and it was deemed not worth it." [source]
User: "Genuine question, not a critique - but what made the OGB decision one that couldn't be handwaved as canon no matter what was or wasn't chosen? Leliana and Flemeth being around no matter what come to mind. Was OGB simultaneously too major and too minor of a decision?" David Gaider: "Flemeth and Leliana being alive were easily explainable, and we knew we were doing it even back then. Circumventing the Dark Ritual⊠that would be too cheap. We did talk about it, but it just felt too dishonest. Too high a price for what weâd get in return." [source]
David Gaider: "If Iâd known the Well of Sorrows would only see reactivity in the confrontation with Flemeth, Iâd probably have made a much bigger deal of it." [source]
David Gaider: "We could maybe have gotten past the need to "reconstruct" the Warden, much like the Inquisitor was reconstructed in DATV (so I understand), but the need to give the Warden a voice was the final nail. Too potentially disappointing for the very people who'd be excited about it, aside from the cost." [source]

I HAD TO HAVE THIS TALK WITH YOU, CAUSE IâD HATE TO HAVE TO ACT A FOOL â MEGUMI FUHSIGURO
cw this exists in the same rich kids/boarding school au as this piece, which are slowly forming their own universe, implied (past) drug use/underage drinking, more of megumi being your guard dog everybody cheer
Megumi scowls as yet another phone call goes to voicemail. Heâs been standing outside the racetrack for fifteen minutes, watching Yuuji absolutely pummel Aoi in polo, and waiting for you. He huffs, just as Yuuji loudly celebrates another point, thumbing a text to Yuuta, asking if heâs seen you all morning. Yuuji claimed youâd left him all by himself after your shared morning class, Nobara was still in Switzerland, and Tsumiki also seemed to be ignoring his messages.Â
He needed answers, and quickly, because this is the free period that Muta and his goons also have free, and he would hate to go back on his promise to stop egging him so soon after youâd asked him so sweetly to knock it off.Â
Yuuta (received 12:57pm) â Sheâs fine, Tsumiki and I are with her. Picnic tables outside of the building 703. â Warning, your least favorite upperclassmen are here too, but donât make a scene. Theyâre annoying, but not trouble yet.Â
Megumi squints, turning on his heels towards the large building opposite the racetracks. As he rounds the side that opens into a field, formally known as one the many lawns dedicated in the Gojo familyâs name, and informally revered as your favorite lunchtime spot, he hears the familiar sound of Tsumikiâs laughter, and the unpleasant squawking of his least favorite upperclassmen.Â
Seeing you, Yuuta, and Tsumiki sitting at the picnic bench under the blooming wisteria was business as usual; seeing Hakari and another senior infiltrating the seating arrangement was not. Megumi frowns, strolling up to the table to halt the conversation when heâs noticed by you, and sized up by the upperclassman.Â
âOh, uhâhey, Iâgood afternoon, Fushiguro!â the other senior has the decency to greet him, stumbling with their overly-chipper tone. Megumi eyes them and blinks. Their face is a familiar shadow to Hakariâs, but he never could recall their name, no matter how many times he had the displeasure of running into the duo. Â
âIt was,â Megumi drawls. He turns his head to face you again, âYouâre late.âÂ
From this angle, you have to tilt your head up to make eye contact with him. Thereâs an innocence behind your eyes, genuine warning, weary concern; and still, so beautiful it makes Megumiâs thoughts venture elsewhereâonly for a moment; he supposes he should be grateful for Hakariâs presence, just this once, because the interjection of his grating voice pulls Megumi back to reality.Â
âRelax, Fushiguro, we were all just talking, having a good time,â Hakari whistles, a dirty grin on his lips, âAinât that right, Kirara?âÂ
Ah, Kirara. Thatâs their name. Megumi doesnât have time to mull it over, or pretend to commit it to memory; the majority of his energy is focused on preventing himself from throwing a punch. Briefly, he makes eye-contact with Tsumiki, a silent warning in her eyes to not be violent; so Megumi looks to the other side of the table at Yuuta, whose hollow eyes are apologetic, but cautious. Megumi can tell theyâve both been doing their best to neutralize the conversation before he arrived, without setting off your own alarm bells.Â
Theyâve been patient, but he wonât be: âGet lost, Hakari.âÂ
âWhoah, no need to rush things. Come on, I didnât even get a chance to invite you to our party yet,â Hakariâs grin widens, âI just figured Iâd get your owner on board before I pet the puppy, yeah?âÂ
Tsumiki and Yuuta share a look. Megumi bares teeth to growl, rests his palms on the picnic table and leans over to deliver his message again, âGet lost.âÂ
âKin, donât be so rude!â Megumi can hear Kiraraâs teeth chattering beside him, a chittering voice attempting to cut through the tension, âWhatâwhat he means is that youâre all invited, really!âÂ
Megumi turns his head, not to acknowledge Kirara or to back down to Hakari, but to look at you. He knows that you know that there are three options to how this ends, and given that heâs already got a strike in your book for bullying Kokichi, and that Yuutaâs route would cause significantly more drama than his, heâs hoping youâll settle this yourself.Â
He tilts his head just enough, raised eyebrows in warning and wait; and then, you give a conceding blink, a small sigh, part your lips to speak, still looking at Megumi when you say: âHakari, Kirara, you two should grab lunch. Theyâre going to stop serving the hot food soon.âÂ
A command hidden as a suggestion. It makes the upperclassmen scowl, but still Hakari motions across the table to Kirara, and they both gather their belongings. âWhatever,â he scoffs, âYou know where to find us when you want to have some real fun.âÂ
Hakari flashes you a wink over his shoulder before he and Kirara make their way around the building and towards the main dining hall. When theyâre out of earshot, you smile, look away from Megumi, and back down to your lunch, grabbing the single, wrapped daifuku and tearing open the packaging, before looking back up to him with a smile, âWell, have a seat, Megumi. Join us.âÂ
Megumi scoffs, standing up straight again, âYouâre supposed to be in a meeting with Gojo right now.âÂ
âI already had Yuuta do my bidding this morning, because he was so sweet to wake up before noon,â you reply, taking the desert out of the plastic, flashing Yuuta a brief smile before looking up to him again, âSo I told him lunch was on me, and we ran into Tsumiki on our way. Itâs so nice out, isnât it? Come on, sit with us, enjoy the weather. Yuuta was telling us about the new coup he bought.â
Tsumiki chimes in about her lunch, looking over at Yuutaâs half-eaten tray and wishing sheâd got beef instead of chicken. He offers her whatâs left of his plate, and she politely declines, before Yuuta insists, pushing his food across the table to her, and you pitch in, putting the remainder of your sauce next to her. The three of you seem to easily pick up where your conversation was presumably before Hakari and Kirara crashed your lunch.Â
Megumiâs scowl deepens. He knows that you know that he wants to know why Hakari and Kirara were here in the first place, he knows that you know that their party invitation was just a scheme to get you into trouble and get a rise out of him, he knows that you know heâs going to kick their asses six ways to Sunday unless you tell him not you.Â
âMegumi,â you cut through his thoughts, words noticeably heavier, âSit.âÂ
He rolls his tongue in his cheek, and you squint a bit, tilting your head to motion to the empty space beside you on the bench. You only spare him a sharp glance, before giving your attention back to Tsumiki, clapping happily as she shows you something she bought on her phone.Â
With a huff, Megumi rounds the table, sets his bag down on the soft grass and swings his legs over the bench and next to you. Tsumiki turns her phone to Yuuta, and your attention is back to Megumi, breaking your daifuku in half and offering a piece to him. He puts an elbow on the table, leans his cheek into his palm, a defiant expression on his face you pay no mind toâyou scrunch your nose with a deceptive smile, bringing the mochi to his lips, and opening your mouth mockingly for him to follow. He blinks at you, slowly; once, twice, a third time before his head dips every so slightly, mouth a jar, letting you place the dessert between his teeth. Only after he has it in his mouth do you begin to eat your half, sparing a hand to raise your arm and pat the top of his head, âSee? That wasnât so hard, was it?âÂ
Megumi tilts his head further into his palm. âYou didnât answer my calls.âÂ
âWhen you called, I was eating lunch. Itâs rude to take calls when you have company,â you defend yourself.Â
âYuuta answered my texts.â
âYuuta is scared of you,â you chirp, âAnd unlike you, he cares to not have write-ups on his transcript. He keeps his physical encounters off-campus.âÂ
âI am not scared of Megumi,â Yuuta scoffs, leaning over to poke at your forehead, âIâm scared of Tsumiki. And I did not want to be scolded for getting blood on her new Chanel skirt.âÂ
Between the two of them, Yuuta was certainly the more reformed one; it only took one incident of Tsumiki pulling at his ear and scolding him about using his words instead of his fists for him to actually listen to her. Megumi couldnât blame him, Tsumiki was hellish when she was truly angry, and he feared Tsumiki as much as the next person, but he also knew how she had a soft spot for her younger brother; a mercy that Yuuta, Yuuji, and Nobara were not privy to when their violent streaks got the best of them.Â
Besides, when Tsumiki couldnât get to him, you were there to tug on his leash and reign him in.Â
âWimp,â Tsumiki coughs, âAnd simp,â she taunts her brother, âWe ought to pick new bodyguards in our next life.â
You laugh softly at her teasing, but still, you rest your elbow on the table to mirror Megumiâs position, âYouâre right. I call dibs on Yuuji.âÂ
Your joke makes the others laugh, and Megumi rolls his eyes as you all chuckle. Still, he shifts to lean his head against your shoulder, sly as he knocks his head against your neck and reminds you of a simple fact: âThatâs too bad. Youâre stuck with me, in this life and the next.â

Patrick Bateman. What kind of a mess was this man? Chaotic, impulsive, pathetic? Or all of the above?
Smirking, you went to his office to deliver some documents you needed him to sign, but when you got there, you noticed that Jean â his lovely blonde assistant â was absent and the door to his office was suspiciously half open. It was strange, to say the least, but you just shrugged your shoulders and stood there for a while when you heard a loud thud coming through the door â the sound almost made you jump in surprise. 'What the hell?' You wondered as you approached the door, turning around to see if Jean was coming, but there was no sign of her. With measured steps you got closer to the hole in the open door and just peeked in out of curiosity, but the scene you saw was not what you expected â Bateman, all flushed and covered in sweat, was storming around his office, his hands desperately fumbling with his tie as if it was choking him.
Your reaction was quick, and you didn't even notice as you opened the door and stepped inside. "Bateman? Are you okay?"
The man stopped shaking the moment he heard your voice and leaned down on his desk. "What the hell are you doing here?"
"I came to get your signature on some of my docs when I heard you crying,â you grinned, watching his face go pale. "What's wrong, Bateman? Did you miss your facial?" The way he balled his hands made you laugh. "But really, did something happen?"
"Yes," Patrick replied, looking at you and running his hand through his disheveled hair. "I mean...no...nothing happenedâŠ" You saw his lips tremble a little each time he spoke. "Gimme the docs."
Frowning in confusion, you pulled out a napkin and handed it to him instead, meeting his scornful gaze. "You're sweatingâŠâ You placed the white piece of cloth on his desk, only now noticing a small jar that you were sure was full of pills. "Maybe I should ask Jean to bring you some coffee? You look really sick..."
"No!" Bateman suddenly blurted out, pointing his finger at you. "I asked Jean to take the day off..."
"Hey, hey, relax," you raised your hands defensively. "Relax, I was just trying to help."
Slowly, you placed the folder of documents on his wooden desk, which he grabbed almost immediately, and your hands touched for a brief moment, and Bateman didn't flinch, and neither did you.Â
"Take a seat." Patrick muttered incoherently.
"What?"
"Sit," he repeated irritably. "And wait."
His tumultuous behavior actually frightened you, but you did as he said and sat down in the chair opposite him. âMy God, he really is mental, Tim was right.â
"What are these pills? Some vitamins?" You tried to keep the conversation alive, not even knowing why, as you watched his long, thin fingers floating across the pages.
Your question made him stop and look up at you. "That's none of your business, (y/n). I asked you to sit and wait, not ask me stupid questions."
âWhy does he look so cute when he's so angry?â The thought brought a smile to your face, but then you zipped up your mouth theatrically and Bateman's office went silent for a while. And you used it to admire his perfect jawline, even though his brown hair was messy now, it looked so inviting to touch anyway.
"Is that all?" Bateman asked suddenly, arching his eyebrows and interrupting your train of thought.
"Uh, what?"
A prominent line appeared on Patrick's forehead â a testament to his annoyance. "Are you deaf or something?"
"Lemme see them," you pointed at the documents. "I want to make sure you put your cute sign on every page." Your playful tone made the line between Patrick's eyebrows even more noticeable. "I don't want to come back here."
Bateman didn't even try to jab back, his face still pale and sweaty, his eyes nothing but dark voids â oh, how fucking empty they were. Sighing heavily, Patrick raised his gaze when he heard the chair creak as you got up and walked around his desk. The sudden cut in the distance between the two of you was something Patrick didn't seem to be ready for, as his hands nervously gripped the armrests, but you pretended not to notice.
"We all feel down sometimes," you murmured over his ear, literally sensing the tension radiating from his body. "And that's okay." Placing your hand on his broad shoulder, you leaned down to look at the documents, surreptitiously inhaling the scent of his perfume mixed with his sweat. âFuck, what am I doing?â
"I didn't know you had a part-time job as a therapist," he grumbled, examining your palm, wondering if he was going to kill you here and now, or keep you in here forever. "Listen, I have a reservation at Barcadia..."
"Mmm, Barcadia? Really?"
Bateman nodded and finally removed your hand. "Yes, I'm having lunch with Coutrney."Â
"I wonder what Luis thinks of these lunches with his fiancé." You picked up the folder and stepped back from his armchair. "You don't feel guilty about sleeping with Coutrney behind his back, do you?"
Gritting his perfectly white teeth, the brown-haired man abruptly got up from his desk and stormed toward you, surely intending to yell at you or say something rude, but the moment he stopped directly across from you and your eyes met, Bateman's expression suddenly became lost and confused. "Just stop," he finally managed to mutter. "Stop poking around in my fucking headâŠ" As you noticed his pupils widening, things were no longer funny to you. "Understand?"
âWell, maybe turning it into a joke is not a bad plan,â you hummed and nodded. "Sure, Bateman," you sneered a little nervously. "I'm just reading this book Timothy gave me," you slowly turned and walked to the door. "The book about Human Psychology." That was surely a joke, but judging by the serious look Patrick gave you, he didn't seem to get it.
"Tim gave you... a book?" He repeated, frowning in confusion and disbelief.
When you opened the door, you paused for a second, wanting to say something smart at the end. "Oh yeah. Why don't you ask him about it? Maybe he can recommend some books about... human relationships or something." And with that, you smiled in satisfaction at seeing Bateman's face quiver with anger before you left his office, leaving him with a raging tempest in his chest.
Later that day, Patrick couldn't sleep because his mind was so full of different thoughts, but the only thing they had in common was that they were all connected to you. You, you, you. The sound of running water echoed off the marble walls of his lavish bathroom as Bateman stood in the shower, enjoying the way the strong streams of cold water hit his back. Huffing, Patrick desperately scrubbed his skin as if it would help him get rid of the thoughts of you that haunted him the day he first met you â you were so cheeky, so sweet, everyone loved you and wanted to hang out with you. How fucking cute. Patrick groaned as he felt a throb at the base of his hard cock, God, he felt like it was hard all the time and no sex could help him with that because all those people, they weren't you.Â
"Argh, fuck," he groaned as he finally allowed himself to touch his twitching dick and give it a few strokes.Â
"F-fuck..." Bateman pumped his length rhythmically, recoiling at the memories of today, the way you put your hand on his shoulder, the warmth of your breath on the back of his neck. And what would it feel like if you had placed your hand on his chest, or run it over his abdomen and then down?Â
"Uh, a-ahhh," the man moaned louder, shaking uncontrollably from the orgasm building at the base of his spine. "(Y/n), your hands feel so good on me, oh-shitâŠ" Patrick had to lean against the shower wall as his legs buckled from the intense waves of ecstasy as he cummed with your name on his trembling lips, the water still running down his sculpted body, washing his cum off, but he was still so hard.Â
"Reading books on psychology," Bateman chuckled, tilting his head. "What an idiot." His nervous giggle bounced across the shower, but soon the laughter turned to a low wail. "PatheticâŠâÂ
Time flowed like sand through your fingers, and you couldn't even remember how many days had passed since your visit to Bateman's office, but since then something had changed between the two of you, but you both couldn't understand what exactly had changed, or maybe you didn't want to try to understand. To be fair, it was so fucking annoying that when you found out that Tim, David, Craig and Patrick were going to the Tunnel, you saw it as your chance to dot the T's, no matter how the evening would end.
When you arrived at the club, it was so crowded that it took you a while to find the group of yuppies sitting on the plush couches next to the dance floor, jamming to the music and drinking their cocktails.Â
As you approached, Craig was the first to spot you. "Woah, woah, look who it is!" His cheeky remark caused everyone to look at you, including Bateman, whose teeth were visibly clenched around his cigar at that moment.Â
"Hey, guys! Enjoying the music I see?" You smiled, fixing your hair briefly from the sudden rush of panic. âDamn it, stay calm! Why am I so nervous?â
Timothy winked at you and raised his glass. "Did you come alone or..." he stopped abruptly when he noticed someone behind your back. "Hey, is that Paul Allen?"
âShit, shit, shit. That was so much easier in my head than it is in reality.â You chewed on your cheek, and while the men were guessing whether they really saw Paul Allen or not, a sudden idea came to your mind, but you hated it before you even started to bring it to life. "Do you have a gram?" You asked without thinking, hoping they would say no.
"I do," Bateman's voice came out of nowhere and you almost screamed in your head, but you had to keep your composure. "But you will owe me." As he said this, you came closer to where he was sitting with a playful smile on your face and took a seat next to him. "Wait, we are not going to do coke here."
"Hey, why not?" David chuckled and took out his business card holder. "What's wrong with it?
"Oh God, look at that cheeky bastard," Craig pressed a palm to his face. "Van Patten decided to be a bad boy today."
The men laughed and high-fived each other before Bateman whispered in your ear, making you almost jump. "Follow me." Those two simple words made you obey like you were under a spell.Â
As the two of you made your way to the bathroom where people in the Tunnel usually did coke, your heart pounded to the heavy beat of the music, or even faster. Patrick went first, his elegant silhouette like a shining star in the midnight sky â so eye-catching and mesmerizing that it wasn't surprising that a lot of people turned around to look at him, but you didn't care as soon you would be alone with him. âJust you and me, Bateman.â
The bathroom was surprisingly empty today. The last time you were there, you had to wait almost half an hour to get into the free stall, but now luck seemed to be on your side. As you stepped into one, Patrick pulled out his business card holder and rolled the $100 bill; you did the same, watching as Bateman made lines of coke with his platinum AmEx card.
"I have to say, you look much better." You commented briefly.
The man was about to lean over to snort the white powder, but your words made him freeze. "Huh," he chuckled abruptly and brushed away a stray lock of hair. "I was just reading some books about... relationships," Patrick grimaced, drawing out the last word with a cocky grin. "It changed my mind." Before you could say anything, Patrick was snorting the coke, holding the rolled-up bill to his nostril while holding another down with his thumb.
"Very funny," you mumbled, tapping the rolled note against the inside of your palm. "Where was your wit when I walked into your office a week ago?"
Bateman coughed quietly and threw his head back for a moment to clean his nose. "What does this have to do with anything?"
Rolling your eyes, you moved closer to his business card holder to inhale the white line of powder that had been left there, your mood was already off, and at some point you even began to regret coming to Tunnel tonight. Though it wasn't your first time doing coke, you felt so dizzy as the drug began to intoxicate your system that you almost fell to the floor if you hadn't bumped into Bateman's chest, leaving a white stain on the lapel of his Valentino suit.
"Hey! What the fuck!" Patrick blurted out, ready to push you off, but the way you grabbed his shoulders stirred something strange inside him, something he was fighting all the time. "Have you ever done coke?"
You coughed several times, blinked nervously, and only then did you let him go. "Sorry..." you gasped and leaned against the wall of the stall behind your back. "It's been a while."
"You stained my jacket."
"God! I'm sorry, okay?"
"No," Bateman replied, brushing off. "Not okay."
"What do you mean?" You asked confusedly, batting your eyelashes and breathing heavily.
Patrick dropped his head for a second before looking at you again, your faces dangerously close. "I'm not okay."
You licked your lips nervously. "Why?"
Instead of saying anything, the man pulled you against his massive frame, giving you no time to react as his hot mouth covered yours; it was difficult to call it a kiss, it was more like the act of claiming â his strong arms trapping you between the wall and his muscular body while yours hovered motionlessly like whips. When Bateman released you, he tugged at your lower lip and licked it with a wet, obscene sound. "Because...because of this."
Panting, you stood in shock for a moment before nodding and touching your wet lips. "Yes," you put both hands on his chest, exploring it slowly but boldly, causing him to close his eyes for a second. "I don't think I'm okay either." After whispering it in his ear, you slid your tongue down his bare neck, right over the mole, and when you heard him grunting, you lowered your hand to his belt, playing teasingly with the buckle.
"Lower," Bateman husked, and when you didn't listen, he grabbed your hand and lowered it himself â the outline of his fully erected cock eliciting a muffled moan to break out of your cramped throat. "Ahhh-fuck."
"God, you're so needy," you murmured against his neck, busy undoing his belt. "So touchy."
It only took a few seconds for you to undo his pants and let his taut dick pop out of his underwear. âMmhhm, his cock is so perfect, just as I expected,â you smiled to yourself, and in the next moment you were stroking his throbbing length, smearing his slick pre-cum around his swollen tip without any shame or fear of getting caught.
"(Y/n)," Patrick hissed as he pressed you against the wall with his weight, his hands sneaking down your back to grope your ass. "Be quiet," the man ordered when he heard your soft moans. "Keep quiet and undo this." Bateman pointed to your bottom and just the thought of what he was about to do to you almost made you cum.
"Why?" You gave him a foxy grin and tightened your grip on his dick, forcing Patrick to hold his breath.
"Just...just do what I say..."
"Okay, honey."
"Don't call me that!" He uttered and squeezed your ass painfully, your bodies grinding against each other, making you hot and sweaty.
"Patrick..." You attempted to kiss him, but he turned away.
In one swift motion, the man reached your neck and aggressively nipped at the throbbing artery. "Shut up! Just shut up and undo this fucking..."
You didn't let him finish his tantrum as you caught his lips with yours, increasing the tempo of the jacking, and you could feel he was so damn close. But since he was so insistent, you undid the lower part of your garment, and everything that happened next was like one of your recent dreams. Bateman, flushed and panting, crouched down, his cock slipping out of your grasp, but the next second his fierce mouth found its way between your legs as he began to suck on your sensitive flesh with sheer greed and passion, not forgetting to pump his dick and growl softly against your skin.
"Ohh, Pat-Patrick," you gasped, tugging at his brown hair, dishevelling it, but neither of you cared. "I'm gonna cum if you don't stop..."
"Mmm-fuck, you taste so sweet," Patrick pressed his face closer to your core, his free hand nailing you to the wall to hold you in place. "You're shaking like a fucking whore."
Chucking, you yanked at his hair a little harder. "And you're devouring me like a starved man, are you starved, Bateman? How long have you been... so fucking s-starved?" You hiccupped as he redoubled his efforts, lapping at your crotch and jerking himself off. "F-fuck, I'm... I'm gonna..."
The loud footsteps made you both stop in your tracks, and when you heard people coming into the bathroom, you stalled completely, only to quickly fix your clothes and then pretend nothing had happened as you left the stall. Later, as you were washing your hands, Patrick stood behind you and you met his eyes in the mirror. "Are you leaving or..." You asked briefly as he handed you your twisted bill.
"Yeah," Bateman straightened his jacket and wiped his mouth with a paper towel before opening the door. "You better forget about it. Believe me."
âAnd now I feel like I need a memory reboot.â

moments | tom blyth
summary: moments with tom and you <3 oh, and keanu reeves is also there! (reeves!reader)
an: nepo baby reader my beloved đ«¶đŒ
ON SET OF BILLY THE KID
since your dad had a few weeks off, he decided to visit you and tom on the set of billy the kid, which was filming in canada. tom was nervous since this would be the first time your dad would see him act in person. you understood why since your dad was a big name in hollywood (and also named the nicest guy).
âhe just texted, heâs here.â you told tom, who was in already in his billy the kid attire. you were hanging out in his trailer until he was called to set.
âis this really happening?â tom sighed. âkeanu reeves is going to see me act . . . holy shit.â
âjust pretend heâs not there or just relax. he loves you and he loves everything youâve been in.â you stood up from the chair and walked over to him.
âapart from being a big actor, heâs your dad. what if he sees that iâm not good enough to be with you?â
âif he ever says anything like that, run. thatâs not the real keanu reeves,â you replied and placed a kiss on his lips. âiâll be right back, Iâm going to go find him.â
âi have to be on set in two minutes. iâll meet you guys over there.â tom said as you exited his trailer in search of your dad.
eventually, you found him talking to the stunt coordinator about, one of his favorite subjects, motorcycles.
âsorry to interrupt,â you apologized for cutting into their conversation.
âno worries, i better get going. it was really nice talking to you. thank you.â the stunt coordinator said as he walked away.
âtom said heâs going to meet us on set. theyâre about to start filming.â you and your dad walked to where tom had told you to go.
âthis is really nice. did you see that horse over there? beautiful horse. remember when you didnât want to ride the horse on set of john wick?â keanu teased. you rolled your eyes playfully and kept walking to the set.
the scene tom would be filming was the opening scene of the whole show. your dad quickly made friends with the producers and director and sat by them when filming began. you watch your boyfriend get into character and deliver his lines perfectly. you didnât know what it was, but you loved seeing him as billy the kid.
âcut! that was great, tom! we got it!â the director shouted. immediately your dad started applauding as loud as he could.
then tom joined you and your dad. âtom, that was amazing. you did an incredible job.â your dad complimented him.
âthank you, sir. it means a lot that youâre here.â tom replied. he still couldnât believe keanu freaking reeves watched him act. you two have been together for quite a while so he didnât have to be so nervous around your dad. but he was and hearing keanu say such kind words to him calmed him down.
âdad was talking about the horse.â you said, pointing to the horse that tom called his.
before you knew it, both of your guys were walking in the direction of the horse.
LUNCH WITH THE FAMILY
it was a nice day out in new york city. before you dad started filming for his new movie, he wanted to have lunch with you, tom and his partner, alexandra. he picked out where you would have lunch and texted you the address. it wasnât that far from tomâs apartment so you decided to walk.
âwhat do you think your dad is going to say about this?â tom asked, referring to his recently bleached blonde hair.
âi think heâll like it. i like it, but i do miss the brown hair.â you admitted. soon enough, you made it to the restaurant. your dad had gotten an outside table so you easily spotted him and alexandra waiting for you and tom.
tom had a hat on so your had hadnât noticed the blonde hair until tom took it off. alexandra gasped as keanu chuckled. âyou look great, man.â he brought tom in for a hug.
âyou do look great, tom.â alexandra agreed and stood up from her chair to greet you and tom.
âhi, sweetheart,â keanu said as he hugged you and kissed your cheek. âwhen are you going blonde?â
ânever. i think the only time i ever dyed my hair was when i had a mental breakdown during seventh grade and dyed my hair red.â you said as you sat next to tom.
âshe had me up at two am helping her rinse because she didnât want to get dye on her fingers.â keanu continued.
âyou had red hair? i need to see that.â tom chuckled.
eventually the paparazzi found you and they kept some distance, but they still annoyed you. you four took the opportunity to mess with them and posed with peace signs or funny faces. it reminded you of the times when you did the exact same thing years ago with your dad. whenever he took you out to eat, the paparazzi would arrive seconds later taking pictures of you two. keanu suggested making faces at the camera so you did just that. now, you were doing the same thing but with your boyfriend, dad and stepmom.
KEANU REEVES, PROFESSIONAL THIRD WHEEL
âhowâs the family?â stephen colbert asked. you dad was a guest and his show and he loved any chance he had to talk about you.
âfamily is doing really great, thanks for asking. iâve spending a lot of time with my daughter. her and i are doing lots of activities like pottery, she loves pottery.â he explained.
âthatâs great. and do you two always hang out when youâre not busy?â stephen asked.
âyeah, she sometimes has her friends over and i call her and ask if i could come over and then i take her friends and her to dinner or bowling.â he laughed as he remembered all the times he took your friends out so he could also spend time with you.
âi donât know if youâre aware of this, but twitter has actually named you the professional third wheel because of these photos.â stephen showed keanu and the audience some paparazzi photos of you and tom walking hand in hand down the streets of new york and to the side was your dad with an ice cream cone in his hand.
âoh man, i mean it was going to happen,â keanu said. you and your dad actually had an agreement about what stuff he could share about when it came to being asked about you in interviews. âtom is a great guy, heâs the best.it looks like theyâre annoyed with me, but I promise theyâre not.â he laughed as another picture was shown of tom talking to him, but he was still holding your hand. whatever it was that tom and your dad were talking about, it seemed really interesting since they werenât paying attention to you at all.
âoh no,â keanu hid his face in embarrassment. âshe looks mad at me, i hope she wasnât mad.â
âthis is my favorite one yet.â stephen added as another picture came on screen.
the picture showed you on your phone walking while your dad and tom walked behind laughing hystericallyïżŒ at something that someone had said.
âare you sure iâm the third wheel?â keanu joked as the audience laughed.
âis tom blyth single?â
the cast of the ballad of songbirds and snakes were doing the wired autocomplete interview and it was tomâs turn to answer questions.
âi am not. i have a beautiful, lovely wonderful girlfriend.â he answered with a smile.
âand his name is keanu reeves!â rachel added followed by josh laughing.
âthe pictures donât lie, tom!â

Word Count: 7,4K
A/N: truely very exciting to write..đ«
You hummed softly to yourself as you moved around the kitchen, the tantalizing aroma of dinner filling the cozy apartment.
Tonight was supposed to be a peaceful evening, a chance to relax after the recent chaos. You were determined to create a feast that would make even Natasha smile after a long day.
You barely noticed the sound of the front door creaking open at first, completely focused on the task at hand. "Natasha, you're home early!" you called out cheerfully without turning around. "I'm almost done with dinner. You're going to love it!"
The silence that followed your words was unexpected and sent a shiver down your spine. Slowly you turned around, a smile still on your lips. But the figure standing in the doorway was not Natasha.
A tall, imposing man with sharp features and cold eyes stared at you. His presence radiated menace, and the way he surveyed the room sent a wave of fear over you. Your heart pounded in your chest as you instinctively took a step back.
"Who are you?" you asked, trying to keep calm despite the rising panic in your voice. The man grinned, his gaze never leaving yours. "Viktor," he replied, his tone dripping with malice. "I'm an old... acquaintance of Natasha's. You must be Y/N."
Your mind raced, trying to piece together the fragments of the conversations you once had with Natasha. Viktor. But that name means absolutely nothing to you.
"What do you want?" you asked, your voice shaking despite your efforts to appear brave.
Viktor took a step closer, his presence overwhelming the small kitchen. "I'm here to leave a message," he said, his eyes flashing with a cruel light. "Natasha has interfered in matters that are none of her business. It's time she understood the consequences."
Your breath caught as you realized the gravity of the situation. You were a pawn, a means to an end in a game that was far more dangerous than you had imagined. The knife you had been using to cut vegetables lay within reach, but you knew it was no match for Viktor's imposing frame.
Your next move was driven by desperation. Without thinking, you grabbed the knife and held it up defensively. "Stay back!" you warned, your voice firmer now, even though your hands were shaking.
Viktor chuckled, a chilling sound that sent shivers down your spine. "Brave, but stupid," he said, taking another step forward. "Do you really think you can stop me?"
Before you could react, Viktor lunged at you, disarming you with terrifying ease. The knife fell useless to the ground. He grabbed your arm with an iron grip and pulled you close.
"You will deliver a message for me," he hissed, his breath hot against her ear. "Tell Natasha she can't hide forever. We will find her. And when we do, she will pay for her interference."
Tears of fear and frustration welled up in your eyes as you struggled against his grip, but Viktor's strength was overwhelming. "Let go of m-me!" you cried, your voice breaking.
With one final, menacing smile, Viktor released you and pushed you back. As you collapsed to the floor, shaking and gasping for air, you didn't hear the sound of footsteps quickly approaching outside.
The front door swung open again, revealing Natasha, heading to your apartment to surprise you. "Y/N, I'm him-" Natasha's voice trailed off as her gaze fell on the scene before her. Her eyes widened in fear and anger as she saw you slumped on the floor, Viktor standing over you.
The smile that had graced Natasha's face moments before vanished, replaced by a cold, deadly expression. Her body tensed, and in an instant she was a predator ready to attack.
"Viktor," Natasha spat, her voice a dangerous growl. "Get away from her." Viktor slowly turned around, his expression one of slight surprise mixed with amusement. "Natasha, what a pleasant surprise," he drawled, though the malice in his eyes betrayed his words. "Exactly the woman I was hoping to see."
Natasha's eyes flashed with anger as she walked toward him, each step deliberate and full of menace. "You made a big mistake coming here," she hissed in a deep, deadly voice.
Viktor laughed, though there was a hint of unease in his eyes as he faced Natasha's wrath in full force. "We'll see," he said, his bravery wavering slightly.
Without warning, Viktor drew a gun and pointed it directly at you. The intention was clear: to hurt Natasha by hurting the person she cared about.
Your scream and plea pierced the air, your eyes widening in fear. "Natasha, please, do whatever he wants!" you pleaded, your voice shaking uncontrollably.
Something dark flickered in Natasha's eyes as she reached under her jacket and pulled out her own gun, pointing it hard at Viktor. Your shock was palpable, your world spinning out of control. The Natasha you knew had never hinted at this side of herself. Is she a cop? Does she have the gun for self-defense?
"Put the gun down, Viktor," Natasha ordered, her voice cold and unwavering. "This is between you and me."
Victor's grin faded as he looked between Natasha and you. "So, the kitten has claws," he sneered. "But do you really think you can pull the trigger, Natasha? While she's watching?"
Your heart was pounding, your head was racing. This was a side of Natasha you'd never seen, never even imagined. The realization that Natasha was deeply involved in a dangerous world shook you to the core.
"Natasha, please," you whisper, your voice breaking. "Just do what he says." Natasha's eyes softened for a brief moment as they met yours, but the iron resolve quickly returned. "I won't let him hurt you," she said, her voice filled with a deadly promise.
In the tense standoff, Viktor's confidence began to waver. He had underestimated Natasha's resolve and willingness to protect you at all costs. "Last chance, Viktor," Natasha said, her voice deadly. "Drop the gun and walk away, or I'll end this right now."
Viktor hesitated, gripping the gun tighter. But he could see the determination in Natasha's eyes, the unwavering resolve that meant she wouldn't hesitate to fire. Slowly he lowered his weapon, a frustrated growl escaping his lips. Natasha moved quickly, disarming Viktor and knocking him to the ground. She stood over him, her gun pointed at his head, her expression cold and merciless.
"You will never threaten her again," Natasha said, her voice ice cold. "You and Dreykov will get the message loud and clear." Viktor's eyes widened in fear as he realized the true depth of Natasha's determination. Before he could say another word, Natasha pulled the trigger and the shot echoed through the apartment.
Your scream shattered the silence, a raw, emotive sound of shock and terror. You crawled away and pressed yourself against the kitchen counter, your eyes widening in horror as you stared at Viktor's lifeless body.
"Y/N, don't look at him, look at me.." Natasha said quietly, turning to you. She held out a hand, her expression full of concern. "It's okay- itâs okay! You're safe now!â
"D-Don't touch me!" you screamed, your voice high in panic. "Stay away from me!" Natasha froze, her heart breaking as she saw the fear in your eyes. She took a step back and raised her hands in a placating gesture. "Y/N, please, just let me explain-"
"I said stay away!!" you screamed again, your body shaking. "What did you d-do? He gave up! He-"
At that moment, the front door flew open and Maria stormed into the apartment along with several of Natasha's men. Maria took in the scene with a quick, practiced glance, her eyes narrowing as she assessed the situation and knew what to do.
Maria stepped forward and placed a reassuring hand on your shoulder. "It's going to be okay," she said in a firm voice. "I'm from the police and I'm here to help..â
You looked at Maria, confusion and fear battling in your eyes. "An officer? I don't understand...h-how did you know...?"
Natasha's eyes met Maria's, a silent understanding passing between them. "We have to go," Natasha said quietly, her voice full of urgency. "They're going to come get us now."
You shook your head, your fear giving way to anger. "No! I'm not going anywhere with you! You lied to me, I-I don't even know who you are!"
Maria squeezed your shoulder gently, your eyes serious. "Y/N, I know this is a lot to take in, but you have to trust us. Natasha is trying to protect you. If you stay here, you're in danger."
"I know I lied, but everything I did was to protect you.. You have to come with me. It's not safe here anymore.." Your eyes darted between Natasha and Maria, your mind racing. The woman you thought you knew stood before you, a stranger in many ways, but your desperation and sincerity were undeniable. The apartment that had once felt like a sanctuary now felt like a prison, its walls closing in with every second.
"Y/N," Maria interjected gently but firmly, "Natasha is right. We don't have much time. I understand that you're scared and angry, but we have to move. Staying here is not an option.â
Your breath came in short gasps, your thoughts a whirlwind of fear, betrayal and confusion. âYouâre a cop?â you ask, searching for some semblance of truth in the chaos.
Maria nodded, her face a mask of calm determination. âWe need to get you to a safe place where we can explain everything.â
Natashaâs eyes never left yours, the vulnerability in your gaze breaking through the fear and confusion. âPlease, Y/N. Trust me one last time. I promise Iâll explain everything, but we have to go now.â
Tears welled up in your eyes as you looked at Natasha, the woman you loved and the woman you now realized you didn't fully know. The weight of the decision weighed on you, the urgency of the situation colliding with your need for answers.
"Okay," you finally whisper, your voice barely audible. "Okay, I'll go with you." Relief flooded Natasha's face, but she kept her composure, knowing they were far from safe. "Thank you," she said quietly. "We need to leave right now. Maria, can you get the car ready?"
Maria nodded and quickly walked to the door, yelling orders to the men outside. Natasha turned to you, her hand gently brushing your arm. "Stay close to me," she commanded in a firm but gentle voice. "I won't let anything happen to you."
You nodded dazedly and let Natasha lead you out of the apartment. The hallway was filled with Natasha's men, their faces grim and watchful. They formed a protective barrier around you as you made your way to the elevator, the tension in the air palpable.
The elevator ride down felt like an eternity, the silence heavy with unspoken fears and questions. You clung to Natasha's arm, your head reeling from the events that had unfolded so quickly. The woman you thought you knew was a stranger, her life a series of secrets and shadows.
When you reached the ground floor, Maria signaled for the car to be called. Natasha held you close, her eyes scanning the area for signs of danger. The car stopped and the men quickly ushered you inside, the doors closing with a reassuring thud.
Maria slid into the driver's seat and looked back at you. "We're going to a safe house," she said in a commanding tone. "When we get there, we'll explain everything."
You nodded, your hands shaking as she held onto Natasha. The car sped through the city streets, the lights blurring in a haze of confusion and fear. Natasha's arm wrapped around you, her presence a small comfort in the midst of the chaos.
"Y/N," Natasha said softly, her voice breaking the silence. "I know you're scared and confused. I promise I'll explain everything. But right now, I need you to trust me. Can you do that?"
You looked up at Natasha, your eyes searching for the truth in her gaze. "I'll try," you whispered.
The car drove through the night, a silent vessel carrying you away from the life you had known. Exhaustion, fear, and shock finally took their toll, and despite your best efforts, your eyelids grew heavy. Your body succumbed to overwhelming fatigue. Natasha held you close, murmuring quiet reassurances until you slipped into a restless sleep.
When you woke up, the world felt disorientingly different. You blinked, your eyes adjusting to the dim light filtering through the heavy curtains. You slowly sat up, the luxurious silk sheets and soft pillows around you an unfamiliar comfort. The room was large, elegantly decorated with expensive furniture and artwork that spoke of wealth and power.
A knot of fear tightened in your chest. Where am I? Your mind raced, you tried to piece together the fragments of your last coherent memories. The confrontation with Viktor, the horrific car ride, Natasha's grim determination.
The bedroom door creaked open and Natasha stepped in, her expression softening when she saw you awake. "Y/N," she began in a soft voice.
Your heart lurched, fear mingling with anger. You climbed back onto the bed, your eyes widening. "Stay away from me," you said, your voice shaking. "I want answers. Now."
Natasha paused, pain flickering in her eyes, but she nodded. "I understand," she said quietly. "You deserve the truth.." You clutched the sheets, your knuckles white. "Where are we? What kind of place is this?"
"We're in a safe house," Natasha explained, her tone calm but serious. "One of many I have for when things get dangerous. We're in Spain, far away from the immediate threat."
"S-Spain!?" you repeated, raising your voice. "You took me out of the country? Without asking me!?"
Natasha took a step closer, holding out her hands in a placating gesture. "I had to, Y/N. It wasn't safe for you in the city anymore. Dreykov and his people would have found us and especially you.."
Your eyes flashed with anger. "And whose fault is that? You lied to me about everything. I don't even know who you are."
Natasha winced, but nodded, accepting the accusation. "You're right. I lied to you. But please, let me explain." Your silence was your only response, your eyes demanding the truth.
Natasha took a deep breath, her expression determined. "I'm part of the mafia, Y/N. The Bratva, to be precise. I've been involved in this world for years, long before we met. My role is... significant. I run operations, deal with threats, and yes, sometimes that means doing terrible things."
The words hung heavy in the air, the reality of Natasha's confession crashing down on you. "The Bratva?" you whispered, your voice barely audible. "I wrote about them. About you, without knowing it.."
Natasha's eyes softened. "I know. I read your articles." Tears filled your eyes, your world fell apart. "So it was all a lie? Our relationship, your love for me?"
"No!" Natasha said urgently, stepping closer. "That was real. Everything I felt for you, everything we shared was real. But I had to keep my other life a secret to protect you."
"Protect me?" you scoffed, the betrayal cutting deep. "You put me in more danger than I could have ever imagined!" Natasha's face twisted in pain. "I know. And I'm so sorry, Y/N. I never wanted this. But I couldn't shirk my responsibility. Not without putting us both in even greater danger."
You shook your head, tears flowing over. "And Maria? She said she was a police officer. Is that at least true??" Natasha hesitated, then shook her head. "Maria is one of my most trusted allies. She's not a cop. She's part of the organization, someone I trust with my life."
Your heart broke again. "So another lie..."
"I didn't want it to be like this," Natasha said desperately. "I wanted to protect you, give you a normal life. But the world I live in... doesn't allow that."
Your voice trembled with anger and sadness. "I want to go home, Natasha. I want my life back." Natasha's expression turned sad. "You can't go back, Y/N. Not now. Dreykov's people will look for you. Staying here is the only way to pr-â
"I don't want your protection!" you say, your voice shaking. "I want my life back!" Natasha took a step closer, her eyes pleading. "Please, Y/N. I know you're scared and angry. But if you leave now, you'll be in even more danger. Give me time to fix this."
Your shoulders slumped, the weight of your emotions crushing you. "I don't know if I can trust you anymore, Natasha." Natasha's eyes filled with unshed tears. "I understand. But I promise you, I will do everything in my power to make this right."
As the night wore on, you lay in the unfamiliar bed, your mind raging with a storm of confusion, fear, and grief. The life you had known was shattered, and the future was a terrifying unknown. Yet despite the pain, there was a glimmer of hope, a weak, fragile thread of trust that Natasha desperately tried to hold onto.
In the silent darkness, you made a promise to yourself. You would find a way to get through this, to reclaim your life, and to understand the truth about the woman you loved. No matter how dangerous the path ahead, you would face him head on, with or without Natasha.
The morning light filtered through the heavy curtains, casting a soft glow on the luxurious bedroom. You stirred, the events of the previous night coming back to you as you blinked awake. The room, with its opulent furnishings and unfamiliar comfort, felt like a gilded cage.
The door opened and Natasha entered, her face a mixture of relief and concern when she saw Y/N awake. "How are you feeling?" she asked quietly.
Your heart clenched, a whirlwind of emotions overwhelming you "I don't know," you admitted, your voice strained. "I still don't know if I can forgive you...You kill for a living Natasha...You have blood on your hands from what? How many?"
Natasha nodded, her expression pained. "I understand. But I'm here to answer all of your questions. I want to fix this as best I can.â
You look away, your mind racing. âI want to talk to Maria, if that is her real name,â you said firmly. âI want to hear her side of the story.â
Natasha hesitated, but then nodded. âOkay. Iâll bring her here.â A few moments later, Maria entered the room, her expression calm but serious. âY/N,â she greeted in a respectful tone.
Your eyes narrowed, your trust shaken. âYou lied to me too,â you accused. âYou said you were from the police, for what?â Mariaâs face softened with regret. âIâm sorry. We had to get out of this place as soon as possible. And yes, Iâm not a police officer. I work with Natasha and my job is to ensure her safety and therefore yours too.â
Your anger flared. âHow can I believe anything you say now?? How do I know youâre not just manipulating me?â Maria took a deep breath, her eyes serious. "You don't have to trust me, Y/N. But know that your safety is my priority. Natasha loves you and I respect that. I'm here to help you in any way I can."
You shook your head, the weight of betrayal weighing heavily on your heart. "I want to go home," you repeated firmly. "I don't want to stay here."
Natasha stepped forward, her eyes pleading. "Y/N, please.." You looked at Natasha, the pain of betrayal mixed with the remnants of love and trust. "I need time to think," you said quietly. "I need to figure everything out."
The days blurred into one another, each one feeling like an eternity as you mastered your new life on the sprawling estate. The house was a testament to opulence, each room carefully decorated with priceless art, luxurious furniture and cutting-edge technology. It was a palace compared to her humble abode, but the splendor did not ease the pain in your heart.
Every morning you wake up in the enormous bedroom, the bed too big and too empty. The silence was oppressive, only broken by the occasional rustle of curtains in the wind or the distant hum of the house staff's activity. Natasha had taken your words to heart, keeping a respectful distance and giving you the space you had asked for.
Despite the apparent freedom to explore the property, you were never truly alone. No matter where you went - the lavish living room with its panoramic views, the quiet library filled with rare books or the immaculate gardens filled with vibrant flowers - Natasha's men were always there. They followed you in silence, their presence a constant reminder of your gilded imprisonment.
One afternoon, the frustration and helplessness boiled over. You stood in the middle of the large foyer, your voice echoing through the vast space as you shouted at the men following you. "If you follow me for another second!! Get out of here!"
The men remained stoic, their expressions unchanged, their eyes fixed forward. Their training was impeccable, a testament to Natasha's influence. They didn't even flinch when your anger flared, their silence only heightening your sense of isolation.
"Do you hear me?" you shouted, your voice breaking with agitation. "I said leave me alone!" Still, there was no response. The men stood like statues, unwavering in their duty.
In desperation, you retreated to the garden, seeking solace among the blooming flowers and carefully tended hedges. You sat on a bench, burying your face in your hands, tears streaming down your cheeks. The beauty around you was lost in the storm of your emotions.
As the days went by, you tried to find some semblance of normalcy. You spent hours in the library, losing yourself in books, hoping to escape the reality of your situation. You explored the many rooms of the estate, marveling at the luxury but feeling a pang of resentment at the life you had to leave behind.
Meals were a solitary affair, served in the large dining room by the staff. The food was exquisite, prepared by a chef whose skills surpassed anything you had ever experienced. Yet every bite tasted bitter, a reminder of the freedom you had lost.
Every night, as you lay in the enormous bed, your thoughts inevitably turned to Natasha. Despite the betrayal, you couldn't deny the love you still felt. It was a confusing tangle of emotionsâlove, anger, fear, and a longing for the truth.
One night, after another day of wandering alone and keeping silent vigil, you happened to find Natasha in the living room. The sight of her stirred something deep inside you - a mixture of longing and anger.
"Natasha," you said, your voice shaking. "Why are you doing this? Why can't you just let me go?"
Natasha looked up, her eyes filled with a sadness that matched yours. "I'm doing this to protect you, Y/N. How many times..! I know it doesn't look like it, but I'm trying-â
"Protect.." you scoffed, tears welling up in your eyes. "I don't feel safe. I feel like a prisoner." Natasha stepped closer, but you raised a hand and stopped her. "You said you wanted space, and I tried to give you that," Natasha said quietly. "But I can't leave you unprotected. The danger is still out there.â
Your heart ached under the weight of Natasha's words. Despite the anger and betrayal, you could see the genuine fear and worry in Natasha's eyes. âI don't know what to feel anymore,â you admitted, your voice breaking. âI love you, but I hate what you did and what you still do.â
âI know,â Natasha whispered, tears glistening in her eyes. âAnd I'm so sorry for everything. But I promise you, I'll do whatever it takes to make it right.â
As you left, you still felt a spark of hopeâa faint, fragile thread that maybe, just maybe, you could find a way through this together. But now you had to navigate the maze of your emotions to find your own way in this new, uncertain world.
As days turned into weeks, your emotions shifted from confusion and sadness to burning anger. The more you saw of Natasha's world, the deeper your resentment grew. You overheard snippets of conversation, saw deals being made, and witnessed the machinations of a life based on power and deceit.
One evening, as you walked through the halls, you overheard a conversation that drove you mad. Two of Natasha's men were talking in low, conspiratorial tones.
"Remember the old days?" one of them said, his voice dripping with nostalgia. "When the boss had a different girl every week? It was a constant party..â
The other man laughed. âOh man..that was pure cinema.. But it seems like things have changed. She is pretty attached to this girl now..Don't know what she gets from her- Well..I do know actually..Sheâs hot..â
Your heart clenched as you took the implication. So Natasha had used countless women before you and treated them like disposable toys..
If Natasha thought she could keep you under control, she would learn a very painful lesson. So you decided to turn the tables and play your own game. You would use Natasha's own methods against her and undermine her composure until she broke.
The next day, you dressed carefully, choosing an outfit that was both elegant and provocatively seductive. As you walked through the mansion, you made sure Natasha's men could see you. You smiled at them, your eyes lingering a little too long, your touch a little too familiar.
In the kitchen, you found yourself next to one of the guards, a tall, gruff man with a rough side. You leaned close to him, your voice soft and seductive. "Could you help me with something?" you asked, brushing your hand against his arm.
The man stiffened, visibly uncomfortable but unable to resist your charms. "Of course, miss," he replied, his voice strained. You smiled, a devilish glint in your eyes. "Thank you," you purred, letting your hand linger a moment longer than necessary.
Natasha entered the room just as you were laughing at something the guard had said. Her eyes narrowed, a hint of anger crossing her face. You met her gaze, your smile becoming cold and triumphant.
As the days went by, you upped your game. You flirted shamelessly with the guards, your laughter and touches becoming more and more obvious. You dodged Natasha's attempts at conversation, fending off her touches with cold indifference.
One evening, Natasha found you in the living room, your hand resting on a guard's arm as you laughed at something he had said. The guard looked uncomfortable, his eyes darting nervously to Natasha and he took a step back fearfully, "R-Romanoff, I-"
"Y/N," Natasha said, your voice strained with barely controlled anger. "Can I talk to you for a minute?"
You turned around, your smile icy. Natasha waited until you were alone before she spoke, her eyes flashing. "What do you think you're doing?" she demanded, her voice deep and dangerous.
You crossed your arms and met Natasha's gaze with a defiant look. "What do you think I'm doing? I'm just having a little fun. Or is that not allowed in your world?"
Natasha took a step closer, her anger palpable. "You're playing a dangerous game, Y/N." You laughed, your voice bitter. "A dangerous game? Like the one you played with all the other girls? Or am I just another toy for you, Natasha?"
Natasha flinched, the accusation hitting home. "You're not a toy for me, Y/N. I love-"
"Love?" you scoffed, "Is that what you call it? Keeping me locked up, surrounded by your men, while you go about your dirty business?" Natasha clenched her fists, her control slipping away. "You're here because it's the only way to keep you safe! When will you finally understand that!"
"THATS not true!!â you shouted back, your anger boiling over. "I don't feel safe, Natasha. I feel like a prisoner. A prisoner in your twisted game!!" Natasha's eyes darkened, her composure finally breaking. "You have no idea what I've sacrificed for you," she growled. "What I've done to get you here.â
You stepped closer, your voice cold and venomous. "And I never asked for it. All I wanted was the truth. But you couldn't even give me that." Natasha's breath came in ragged gasps, her anger barely contained. "You're pushing me, Y/N," she warned, her voice a dangerous whisper.
You grinned, the excitement of rebellion sparkling in your eyes. "Maybe it's time someone hit back." The tension between you crackled, an explosive mix of anger, betrayal, and unresolved desire. Natasha took a step forward, her eyes locked on yours, her control hanging by a thread.
But before anything could happen, Maria stormed into the room with a grim expression. "We have a problem," she said in an urgent voice.
Natasha turned, her anger now ricocheting onto Maria as well. "What!?" Maria looked at you, her eyes filled with a mixture of compassion and concern. "It's dreykov."
Natasha's face hardened, her anger replaced by cold determination. She turned to you, her eyes burning with an intensity that made your heart skip a beat. "This isn't over," she said in a low, dangerous voice.
You returned her gaze, her own anger simmering. "No, it's not." As they prepared to leave, the tension between you remained, a simmering conflict that threatened to erupt at any moment. The game you were playing was dangerous and successful. But amidst your anger and betrayal, a spark of something deeper remained - a twisted, complicated love that refused to be extinguished.
As the tension between you and Natasha reached its boiling point, you still knew no bounds. You pushed every button, testing Natasha's patience with reckless abandon. But there was a line, a boundary that should never be crossed, and you were about to experience the consequences of your relentless rebellion.
In the dimly lit hallway, you walked ahead of Natasha, your footsteps echoing off the polished marble floors. You ignored Natasha's warnings, your anger driving her forward with reckless abandon. But Natasha was not to be trifled with, especially when her authority was challenged.
As you passed another security guard and whispered something in his ear, Natasha grabbed the man close in one swift movement. His eyes widened in surprise and fear.
Before you could speak, Natasha spoke, her voice low and deadly calm. "Look at him, Y/N," Natasha commanded, her grip on the guard tightening. "This man is loyal to me. He would do anything I command him to do, to serve me. And you, you dare to flirt with him, to play with his loyalty?"
Your heart pounded in your chest, fear and shame coursing through your veins. Maybe you had pushed Natasha a little too far..
Natasha turned to the guard, her voice a chilling whisper. "Do you know how lucky you are to still be breathing?" she asked, boring into his eyes. The guard's throat worked as he swallowed nervously. "Yes, boss," he managed, his voice barely above a whisper.
Natasha let go of the guard, but her eyes didn't leave yours. "Remember this moment, Y/N," she said in a warning voice. "Remember who's in charge here. And remember what happens to those who dare to challenge me."
As Natasha tightened her grip on the guard, a rush of adrenaline shot through your veins, your heart pounding with fear and elation. Yet as the guard's submissive behavior unfolded before them, you expected Natasha to further establish her dominance to quell the rising tide of arousal within you. Natasha's response, however, was unexpectedly passive.
Your breath caught in your throat as you watched Natasha's calculated restraint, her eyes gleaming with cold, calculated intensity. The guard's submissive behavior only increased the tension in the air, leaving you feeling oddly exposed and vulnerable.
In that moment, as Natasha's voice echoed with a quiet threat, you felt a shiver of excitement run down your spine. But instead of fulfilling your expectations, Natasha remained distant, her expression unreadable.
With every step Natasha took toward you, you felt the pull of Natasha's dominance grow stronger, drawing you deeper into a world of dark desires and forbidden thrills. But Natasha's refusal to surrender to their shared arousal left you feeling unsteady, your longing for release colliding with your resentment toward Natasha's control.
And as Natasha walked past you, you knew you were standing on the edge of an abyss, your heart torn between the safety of the familiar and the tantalizing pull of the unknown.
Days later, you approach Natasha with a firm but polite voice. "I want to go out today." Natasha's eyes narrowed, suspicion immediately rising within her. "Going out? Where exactly?"
"Shopping," you answered, a hint of defiance in your tone. "I need new clothes, I didn't have time to pack my things."
Natasha shook her head. "No." You opened your mouth to argue, but Maria, who had been silently watching the exchange, stepped forward. "Natasha, maybe it's not such a bad idea."
Natasha gave Maria a warning look. "Excuse me?" Maria insisted. "Y/N needs to have a sense of freedom. Keeping her locked up here will only make things worse. We can make arrangements. I'll go with some of the men. It will be safe."
Natasha gritted her teeth, clearly torn between her protective instincts and Maria's reasoning. She shot you a look that hadn't faded from her defiant expression. Finally, she sighed. "Fine. But there will be conditions.â
âOf course there are,â you murmured quietly, although a spark of satisfaction shone in your eyes. âYou will not walk around alone for a single second. I will be behind you at all times,â Natasha continued, her tone leaving no room for argument. âAnd you will always remain within sight. Understood?â
âUnderstood,â you agreed, your head already thinking about how you could use this trip to your advantage.
A short time later, you were ready to leave. Natasha had chosen a handful of her most trusted men to accompany her. The convoy of elegant black cars drove through the city, attracting curious glances from passersby.
When you arrived at an upscale shopping district, you wasted no time putting your plan into action. You entered the most expensive boutiques and chose one item after another with almost reckless devotion. Dresses, shoes, jewelry - nothing was forbidden to you.
Natasha lagged behind you, her expression a mask of icy self-control as her men carried the growing mountain of purchases. You took particular pleasure in handing heavy bags to Natasha, which she accepted with a stoic expression, her eyes never leaving yours.
Despite your anger and resentment, you couldn't help but feel a thrill at the sight of Natasha with her purchases. It was a small victory, a way to gain some control in a situation where you often felt powerless.
As the shopping spree continued, you decided to up your game. You had noticed the subtle tension in Natasha's demeanor and the fear in her men's eyes when she got too close. It was time to tighten the thumbscrews even more.
After hours of shopping in high-end boutiques, you led the group to a discreet, upscale lingerie store tucked away on a side street. Natasha's eyes narrowed as she read the shop sign, but she didn't object, just following you inside, her men and Maria behind her.
You browsed the shop with deliberate slowness, your fingers running over delicate lace and silk. She selected a series of slinky outfits, your expression one of concentrated contemplation as you walked to the dressing rooms.
Natasha stood at the entrance, her arms crossed and her face a mask of controlled impatience. Her men, however, looked decidedly uncomfortable, their eyes fixed firmly on the floor.
You tried on the outfits one by one, each more revealing than the last. After putting on the first set - a sheer black lace teddy - you left the dressing room and went straight to the large mirror in the middle of the shop.
You pretended to inspect the outfit, turning this way and that, making sure to give Natasha's men a look. The guards, visibly nervous, looked away, aware of the danger of looking at their boss's girl.
Maria, who was standing nearby, must have noticed your plan and had to suppress a laugh. She covered her mouth, her eyes sparkling with amusement.
You caught Maria's gaze in the mirror and grinned before looking at Natasha. The mafia boss's expression was a textbook example of barely contained anger. Her jaw was clenched and her eyes flashed with dark intensity.
"What does it look like?" you asked in a sweet and innocent voice as you turned to Natasha.
Natasha's eyes studied you, the heat in her gaze unmistakable. "You know exactly what it looks like," she replied in a low and dangerous voice.
Undeterred, you returned to the dressing room and came out a few minutes later in a barely visible red satin babydoll. You repeated the image, turning slowly in front of the mirror, making sure every angle was visible to Natasha's men, who were becoming visibly more uncomfortable by the second.
One of the guards, a young man with a nervous twitch, glanced up briefly, only to catch Natasha's murderous gaze. He quickly looked away, beads of sweat forming on his forehead.
"Maybe this one?" you wondered aloud, your eyes sparkling mischievously as she turned to Maria. "What do you think?"
Maria nodded, fighting to keep her composure. "It's... quite something," she managed, her lips twitching with suppressed laughter.
After a few more outfits - each more scandalous than the last - you decided you had made your point. You gathered your selection and walked to the counter. Natasha's men were visibly relieved to see the end of your ordeal.
Natasha approached you, her expression a mix of frustration and something darker, more primal. "Satisfied?" she asked with a low growl.
You looked up at her, feigning innocence. "Almost," you replied in a defiant tone. You led the group into a side street where a group of homeless people huddled together, their eyes tired and hopeless. Your heart softened at the sight and you felt a twinge of guilt for your previous pettiness.
With a determined look in your eyes, you began to hand out the expensive clothes and accessories to those in need, ignoring the confused expressions of Natasha and her men. The recipients accepted the gifts gratefully and incredulously, their faces beaming with joy.
Natasha watched in silence, her eyes narrowing as she tried to understand your motives. When you had almost given away the last of your purchases, you turned to Natasha, a hint of defiance still burning in her eyes.
"Money can't buy everything," you said quietly, your voice shaking with a mixture of anger and conviction. "And it certainly can't buy my forgiveness."
Natasha took a step closer, her expression unreadable. "You think that makes up for challenging me? For risking your safety?"
You lifted your chin and met Natasha's gaze directly. "I think it shows that I'm not just a pawn in your game. I'm my own person and I won't let fear control me."
For a moment, the two women stood in a tense standoff, the air filled with unspoken emotions. Then, to your surprise, Natasha's expression softened ever so slightly.
"Let's go home," Natasha said quietly, turning to lead the way back to the cars.
After you all arrived, Natasha asked you to follow her. You paused and followed her to a room where a bench stood in front of a bed.
The room was dimly lit, shadows dancing on the walls, adding to the tension in the air. "Sit down," Natasha ordered, pointing to the chair next to the bed.
You obeyed, your mind racing with a mixture of defiance and questioning. You tried to appear casual, but the intensity of Natasha's gaze made your heart beat faster. Natasha leaned forward, her eyes boring into yours. "What was all this about today?" she asked in a deceptively calm voice. "You parade around in those outfits and make my men stare at you?"
You crossed your arms and tried to keep your composure. "I wanted to have a little fun," you answered, a hint of defiance in your voice. "I wanted to show you that I'm in control now."
Natasha's eyes narrowed, a dangerous glint flickering in their depths. "Did you like it?" she asked quietly, her voice menacing.
"Did you like them watching you?" You grinned with a mischievous glint in your eyes. "Yes, I did. It felt good to turn the tables for once."
In an instant, Natasha was up from the bed and standing in front of you, her expression a mixture of anger and something darker, more primal. She grabbed your arm, pulled you up, and dragged you to the bed.
"You think you're in control?" Natasha hissed, her voice deep and threatening. "Let me show you what real control looks like."
Before you could protest, Natasha tied your limbs to the bedposts, the restraints cutting into your skin. "W-What are you doing?!" Your heart raced, a mixture of fear and excitement coursing through your veins.
Natasha stepped back, never taking her eyes off you. She clapped her hands and the door opened, revealing two women entering the room with hesitant steps.
Your eyes widened in shock and confusion as Natasha led the women to the edge of the bed. "Watch." Natasha ordered you, her voice cold and commanding.
The women sensed the gravity of the situation and began to undress each other, their movements slow and deliberate. Your breath caught, your emotions a chaotic storm of jealousy, arousal and helplessness.
Natasha leaned close to you, her breath hot in your ear. "This is control," she murmured, her voice dripping with seduction. "See how they obey? How they submit to my will?"
Your body tensed, your mind reeling. You tugged at the bonds, your need for release growing more desperate by the second. The sight of the two women pleasuring each other, their moans filling the room, was unbearable.
Natasha's hand caressed your cheek, her touch soothing and electrifying at the same time. "That could be you.." she whispered, her lips brushing your ear. "You could be the one I touch, the one I satisfy. But you have to understand your place."
Your eyes met Natasha's, your gaze defiant "No," you spat, fighting against the restraints. "I won't beg for you if that's what you want to achieve."
Natasha's smile grew wider, darker. "Oh. Detka, We'll see about that," she said quietly. She stepped back and handed one of the women a vibrator, then nodded at you. The woman approached, her eyes filled with curiosity and fear.
"Show her," Natasha ordered.
The woman turned on the vibrator and began to use it on herself, her moans growing louder as she neared climax. Your eyes widened, your own body reacting involuntarily to the display of raw, unfiltered pleasure before you. You tugged harder at the restraints, your resolve wavering.
"Do you still think you're in control?" Natasha asked, her voice as soft as velvet. "Look at her, Y/N. Look at how easily she submits."
Your breath came in short, ragged gasps. You tried to look away, but Natasha's hand grabbed your chin, forcing you to watch. The other woman joined in, their bodies writhing together, the sounds of their pleasure filling the room.
Natasha's lips touched your ear. "You want this, don't you? You want me to touch you, to make you feel this good."
You bit your lip, refusing to give in. You could feel your body shaking with desire, your core aching for release. But you wouldn't beg. You wouldn't give Natasha that satisfaction.
Natasha's hand slid down your stomach, stopping just short of where you most wanted to be touched. "All you have to do is beg," she whispered. "Beg for it, Y/N. Tell me you want it."
Your pride fought with your overwhelming desire. You clenched your fists, your nails digging into your palms as you fought to maintain your defiance. But the sight of the two women lost in ecstasy was too much. Your body betrayed you, arching towards Natasha's touch.
Natasha grinned, her fingers brushing your inner thigh. "Just say it," she purred. "Admit you need me."
Your resolve crumbled, your voice breaking as you whispered, "P-Please..."
Natasha's eyes gleamed triumphantly. "Louder," she commanded, her fingers moving closer.
"Please!" you repeated, your voice stronger now.
"Touch me, Natasha." Natasha's smile was cruel and victorious. "Good girl," she murmured and pulled her hands away. She untied your bonds and you looked at her in confusion. Then she ordered the girls to leave and looked at you again, "Good night, Y/n. See you tomorrow."
And left the room.

This is a fan translation only. Please expect grammatical errors and translation inaccuracies. This is a full translation. Cybird owns everything. Re-blogs are appreciated, but please do not post my translation elsewhere. Thank you for your support! âŸ.
CW: âŸ. Violence âŸ. Brief mentions of castration âŸ. Habitual use of the phrase, "that/the woman." (Just in case some are sensitive to this phrasing).
Average daily life, time that flows peacefully, without a single blemish.
Something like that is as distant as the moon is from me.
Battered Man: Drop dead, Jude JazzaâŠâŠ!
Being attacked on the street in the middle of the night, is so damn common itâs no longer funny.
Before the knife could reach me, I kicked the man and broke his jawâŠ
Battered Man: GahâŠ..
As the man fell to the ground, blood gushed out from his nose and sprayed everywhere.
Jude: Ainât no way Iâm gonna be done in by some shitty, cowardly lilâ nobody like ya.
Battered Man: My business is ruined because of YOUâŠ..
Jude: On the surface, it looked like ya ran a respectable pharmaceutical company. ButâŠ..
Jude: Ya were sellinâ some pretty dangerous stuff behind closed doors.
Battered Man: W-wellâŠ.thatsâŠ.
Jude: Ha, mister yer faceâs so pale, that its pitifulnessâs undeniable proof.
Jude: Ellis.
Ellis: Should I have him castrated and thrown into the lab as well? [1]
[1] ć»ćą Kyosei can mean castration/emasculation/enervation/taming. Ellis could saying: âDo you want me to subdue...." However, in this previous event, Jude has a bunch of guys castrated by a black market surgeon prior to being sent to work. So, I opted for castrating instead of subdued.
Jude: If ya already know, then donât ask.
Ellis: Okay, got it. If thatâs what makes you happy Jude.
Battered Man: D-d-damn itâŠâŠ.ahhh!?
In a final attempt, the man raised his knife, but screams rang out when I stepped on his hand and broke it.
Jude: Oh, thatâs feels good. All shitty people should be dropped in hell ân left to rot.
I left Ellis with the clean up and lit a cigarette.
The exhaled purple smoke rose into sky, coming into view of the full moon.
(âŠ.Ah, figured it was full moon âcause itâs so bright out.)
(Still, the moonâs so huge itâs gratinâ. âŠ.How annoyinâ.)
I hate the moon.
It shines so irritatingly bright - it wonât let me forget the things I want to forget.
Even though I want to look away, instead I look up in disgust.
I exhaled more purple smoke, like it would expel these jagged feelings.
Then under the moonlight, I noticed a woman who was standing there just like me.
(PostwomanâŠâŠ?)
The woman looked up at the moon,
Postwoman: âŠ.Okay, letâs give it our all tomorrow too.
Her lips etched into a soft smile, as if looking forward to tomorrow.
Then using the moonlight as her guide, she left the darkness of the back street.
(Workinâ âtil late hours, ân yet beinâ weirdly optimistic, sheâs suspiciously good naturedâŠ...huh.)
I wonder when I started to feel irritated with soft, and pure things.
Was it when I realized they were the ideal prey for malice and murderous intent, and can be easily trampled on?
Thereâs so many things in this world youâre best not getting involved with, or coming to know about.
The woman who followed the moonlight vanished, and was no longer there.
Those who live can live a carefree life, should live a carefree life.
I had complete forgotten about that night.
Until, a woman wandered into the darkness â
William: Well, if it isnât the little robin I met this afternoon!
Kate: IâŠWhat?
As she stood there covered in blood spatter, she seemed somewhat familiar.
(That postwomanâŠ..?)
The only thing I remember is her profile while looking up at the moon, but the more I look, the more my memories of that night pile up.
(Whatâs she doinâ here?)
From what was said, it seems that she was delivering mail when she carelessly wandered onto the scene.
(She ran into Crown by chance. How unlucky can she get?)
Harrison: What should we do, Will?
William: We should take her with us, of course â to the âPalaceâs Reaperâ.
Crownâs existence is a secret, and those who become aware of its existence are killed off.
Especially if youâve witnessed an execution.
In other words, this woman canât escape her death sentence.
Jude: TchâŠ..thatâs why I toldja to lock the damn door!
The womanâs body trembled with anxiety as I clicked my tongue.
William:Â Come here, pitiful robin.
And thus, the woman was disposed of by Crown, the end.
â Apparently, it didnât go that way.
At the whim of that shitty crackpot of a Queenâs aide, Victor, the woman called Kate was established as a âfairytale keeper.â
It was decided that sheâd spend one month together with us.
(Whaddya mean, âfairytale keeper,â how stupid.)
Itâs sounds good, but she was forced into a contract of being monitored while she worked.
(Ainât right to bind someone to an agreement simply âcause they accidentally witnessed an murder.)
Jude: TchâŠ.Revoltinâ.
Victor: Oh, donât be like that Jude. Youâll have to look after her too.
Jude: Not a chance. What in the blazes ya thinkin', abusin' Her Majesty's power by kidnappin' this nobody?
As I glared at Victor, the gaze of the woman called Kate pierced meâŠâŠ
Kate: Thank you so much, Master Jude.
(Whatcha talkinâ to me so easily to for?)
Jude: Poor thing, gettin' kidnapped 'n forced to come here. Want me to rescue ya?
When I mockingly asked about the situation she couldnât run from,
Kate: âŠReally? Youâd do that?
The eyes of the woman in front of me, widened slightly with hope.
(Whatâs with those sparklinâ eyes?)
Jude: Obviously, Iâm jokinâ! What the hellâd ya get ya hopes up for, ya dimwit?
The womanâs eyes darkened, as if her fragile hope had been shattered.
(Canât leave this place for a month ân itâs all âcause ya agreed to it.)
â Everything here now, is nauseating.
Jude: We won't have a problem long as ya work hard. Yer only other option's to run 'n get killed, o'course.
I replied coldly, turned my back and took my leave.
(The hellâs with those guys, theyâre all so shitty.)
(Whyâm I so frustrated at how ridiculous it is?)
The moment I took out a cigarette to light it, to hide my frustration,
Jude: âŠâŠ.
I spotted the moon outside the window.
The moon was shining so irritatingly bright tonight as wellâŠâŠ
(âŠAh, thatâs right.)
(That womanâs sparklinâ eyes)
???: Hey â promise me something. When you get rich, take me to the moon. [2]
[2] It is not clear if â???â is speaking in the same accent as Jude. Hence, Iâll leave this written as proper English until further clarified.
(Is similar to their eyes.) [3]
[3] No pronouns are being used. Simply ăă〠âaitsuâ - she/he/them. No doubt itâs intentional.
Jude: âŠ.Tch, so disgustinâ.
Turning from the moon, I lit the cigarette.
Thereâs so many things in this world youâre best not getting involved with, or coming to know about.
And yet, the woman who used the moon as her guide, stumbled into darkness.
(If ya can live a carefree life, then ya should live a carefree life.)
(Thatâs why)
Jude: âŠâŠGet outta here quick, princess.

don't mind me, i'm just sitting here marinating in the fucking implication of that scene in the PILOT episode of house md where the patient is trying to understand a little better the doctor who's saving her life because he's cold and a jerk (and hasn't even bothered meeting her) but also works in an ultimately caring profession, and she picks up on the fact that wilson must be the closest thing house has to a friend the way he talks about him so confidently and asks him "is he your friend?" to which he answers "yeah" which is Already the opposite answer of which any of the other doctors in that hospital would give, and then she follows it up with "does he care about you?" to which wilson hesitates and goes with "eh i don't know. like he says, everybody lies" BUT THEN. she says, "well it's not what people say, it's what they do" and wilson thinks for a moment and fucking delivers the heaviest, most heartwarming answer that is "yeah. he cares about me" because fuck me if that doesn't establish not only the tone and the themes the entire fucking show would permiate for the next 8 seasons, but also what it would Culminate in 8 years down the road. shoot me
#the fucking PILOT episode establishing that house cares about wilson and demonstrates that through his actions and not his words#and they have whatever the fuck is going on between season 1 and 8#and the fucking FINALE is them riding into the sunset together so that house can be by wilson's side in his last 5 months to live#i'm having a stroke#house md

pls pls pls pls make a list of all danmei people should read. I am thirsty for love and angst and pls be my salvation
Omg I can't say no to that!
Full disclosure, I've only been reading danmei since May. Also, I only read official translations. Others may be able to give a wider range.
But since you asked so nicely, let's go!
1) Yuwu/Remnants of Filth
Obviously, my number 1 is going to be the danmei I spend 80% of my time here trying to convince people to read.
Yuwu is a gift for fans of angst, literally opens with the MC getting stabbed in the heart and Meatbun doesn't let up from there.
Fun fact - the only Meatbun without non-con elements in the primary ship.
Sad fact - it also lacks her usual comedy.
Why I love it: Mo Xi, my princess, genuinely the saddest boy in all of danmei. I'm ridiculously invested in Ximang's quest for happiness.
2) 2ha/Erha/The Husky and his White Cat Shizun
At it's heart (at least to where the official translations are up to) 2ha is a romantic comedy. Tropes you may have found in other danmei hit so good (ghost weddings and shizun fucking).
Fun fact - Has my favourite confession scene out of all danmei I've read.
Sad fact - Being Meatbun's most popular work, you can basically collect spoilers like pokemon cards. Not even ao3 tags are safe.
Why I love it - Meatbun's smut writing is S tier and Mo Ran is one of my favourite protaganists... although he has some competition.
3) To Rule in a Turbulent World
Enter You Miao! His introduction made me fall in love with him just as fast as I did Mo Ran! There's a reason everyone raves about chapter 3. Hilarious, horny and wholesome. The side characters are amazing, the main couple is adorable and it's giving hints of political powerplays. Also the first danmei I've read that seems to really deliver when it comes to skinship. The main couple literally can't keep their hands to themselves.
Fun fact - I'm only 50% through but I am buying every single Fei Tian Ye Xiang 7 seas is about to release day 1.
Sad fact - there's no pictures. Also I'm not sure how angsty it's going to get.
Bonus: For the toxic yaoi fan in your life
Meatbun's most unhinged work. She's peddling all the toxic smut fans of bl mangas and manhwas will be familiar with. Even though it's modern it made me nostalgic for that reason. He Yu is a clown and I adore him. Meatbun is airing all her kinks with this one and I'm not mad about it.
Fun fact- This is the first modern danmei I've read. Also, one of the more fun uses of the straight man trope I've read.
Sad fact - Vol 3 cliffhanger!
Why I love it - It's just pure Meatbun chaos.
(Am I just exposing myself as a Meatbun stan, probably, but she delivers every time.)
