OK GUYS SHITTY TUTORIAL TIME. DO YOU WANT TO SEE THE INVENTORIES AND ENDER CHESTS OF YOUR FAVORITE CHARACTERS? (its not as interesting as it seems theyre so boring) im gonna teach you what i googled last night and spent 3 hours playing around with

You will need the world folder and it will have to be extracted into your saves folder! if you havent done this already and dont know how theres a billion tutorials on youtube

STEP 1) you will need an NBT reader/editor in order to view the player data. the one i found that didnt give me any viruses or issues is called NBTExplorer

STEP 2) once you have your NBT reader/editor you should see something like this after installing it and opening it

STEP 3) expand the saves tab and locate the dsmp world (it should be called "world" unless you renamed it in which case it will be called that name)

STEP 4) locate and expand the player data file

STEP 5) youre gonna see about a billion of these things

all of these are player data! but now you need to know HOW to locate your favorite guys' specific folder. each name is written using a UUID unique to each player. in order to find these UUIDs, you can go onto namemc. For this example i will use Eret!

Eret's mc username is The_Eret, so i will go on namemc.com and type in their user

STEP 6) Once youre on their namemc profile, you should see osmething like this . Under the profile tab you can see something labeled UUID: this eret's UUID! We can now use this to find his player data.

the easiest way to do this i found is to just remember the first 4-5 characters of their UUID and try and locate it in the player list

STEP 7) find the corresponding UUID on NBTExplorer. this is a tedious process but i havent found a better way to do it

you can click on either of these and expand them they are both exactly the same!

STEP 8) Lets say we want to take a gander into eret's enderchest. To do this, once we've expanded their player data folder, we will locate the enderchest file

STEP 9) now youll see something like this! each of these entries are an individual item in eret's enderchest

expanding one of them, this means that eret has a stack of tnt in their enderchest. for whatever reason

and if youre like me and only interested in the books that people are hiding from the world, books will usually expand to something like this

in order to view the contents of the book, all you have to do is expand the "tag" folder and then the "pages" folder. lets see what this book is !

This process can be repeated for their inventory ! you just need to expand the inventory folder instead of the enderchest folder

AND BAM! you can now expose everyones secrets. its not that interesting. Also if you were wondering EVERYONE WHO HAS EVER ENTERED THE SERVER'S PLAYER FILES ARE ON HERE. i was playing around with it yesterday and corpse, lilnas, and ksi are all on here. in case you were wondering what was in their inventories

final note: any map that was using the image to map mod cannot be viewed (i havent been able to find a way at least)

also you can play a game where you try and guess who the person is based on their inventory and enderchest. Its pretty fun

one of the most common topics om! fans love to write about is the concept of death in regards to the human mc + how the brothers will handle it. i've seen sm headcanons ranging from breaking into the reaper's cave to continuously add life essence to the human's dwindling candle to the bros in front of a withered headstone with mc's name + tears in their eyes. . . anyway it fuels my personal hc and how mc + lucifer would need a serious talk on how to approach the matter...

*mc is simply a human. before their powers came into fruition & they discovered they are the sole connection between the three realms, a descendant of one of the most famous angels of all time- they were just some guy. they had a normal boring average family + went to a boring average school + worked a boring average job + indulged in boring average hobbies! falling in love with the most notorious demon in the devildom meant nothing alongside how they conducted themselves for the last 20-odd years- they were simply some guy and will continue to be some guy! they will die being some guy!

*lucifer initially is furious. how could they simply WANT to die? the situation is all too familiar to him- he is presented with the choice to purposely lengthen the lifespan of some human or have his one and only true love die, most likely ending up as some aimless spirit in the celestial realm or some little d tucked away in the lower pits of hell, unable to remember who lucifer was to their previous incarnation. he would bring it up time and time again, to which mc simply laughs, as if their death is some trivial matter- "instead of worrying about the future, come here."

*with no avail, lucifer continues different methods of persuasions to convince mc to drink solomon's potion of immortality [lucifer went to great lengths to get solomon to remake the accidental potion that caused his lifespan to never cease, only falling short of making a pact with him- instead, he lent solomon his grimoire for one hour. he doesn't like talking about what happened during that time] mc remains set on the fact they will die one day [i'm imagining a new frontier (adventure time)- jake is explaining to finn that he's gonna die one day and finn needs to accept it- finn has a hard time, going to great lengths to stave away death]

*mc settles into bed as lucifer is reading over some documents. the room is quiet and has been for a few nights. mc remains nonchalant as ever, as if not even noticing the cold-shoulder treatment lucifer has been giving them for the past few days. when people are so settled on their own conviction that they'd defy lucifer himself- he does get a bit pissy. mc notes of course- he's being a brat about the whole affair, but they have always been nonconfrontational- just ignore the problem and surely it'll go away? it hasn't yet- and it began to worry mc. they almost were about to give in and indulge him in his radical idea of granting them immortality, but then lucifer spoke: "of course i want you by my side for all of eternity. but i now realize that's asking far too much. you were born a human- you have certain expectations of what your life would be like. asking you to throw away your plans and stay with me was selfish, and frankly immature of me. i apologize. truly." mc knows lucifer rarely apologizes, much less with tears welling in his eyes & hands shaking. mc's heart dropped when they realized how much he agonized over their inevitable death. mc takes his face in their hands, swiping a thumb under his eye, wiping the tears away. "why are you crying? right now, this is everything. just you and me, ok? forget tomorrow. kiss me now."

*later... far later into the future when mc is truly long gone, lucifer remains the prince of pride. with like, a billion grandkids. OBVIOUSLY the two had kids! every day he's like omg great [x13] grandson #2 you act so much like my late wife... did i tell you the story when they almost killed me for eating their last piece of chocolate... ahh i miss them <3
