Me, while starting this chapter a few days ago; man, I'm not sure this is actually going to be long enough for a chapter... I mean I might want to split it into a sidestory thing anyway, I don't like how chapter 6 to 7 to 8 would flow with this as chapter 7, but even then...

so, i haven't beaten the post game yet, but i did beat the main story line of pokemon scarlet yesterday, and i just...i really still don't know what to make of it, tbh? i don't know if i liked it or not...i can't tell if it was good or bad. it was...idk?

i have a lot of mixed feelings about this gen...i don't want to say that it was bad, but i can't say with full confidence that it was good, either. i guess my main takeaway was that it was...a video game. like, i'll reserve my full judgement for after i play through the post game i guess, maybe there are things that i'm missing out on yet, maybe i just need some more time to process everything that happened? it was a LOT after all, idk...

i will say this though, i am VERY glad that i did not buy the game, regardless of whether or not i end up liking it. i definitely don't think this was a 60 dollar game, esp with the state that it released in...
