And a cheeky 12 bc I'm in love w him,, and I'm reallllyyy excited to rewatch his seasons but that'll be a while away augh

I always had this headcanon of Peggy Carter being the Winter Soldier. She’d go on the run with Steve and the crew after Civil War and there would be some spots of levity or romance… waking up in some abandoned warehouse in who knows where.

Enter this piece. It’s been finished and sitting in my Procreate folder for a good 5 years.

“Complicit!” She snorts humorlessly, arching a sculpted brow at him, and he continues to like the way that her voice sounds when she’s laughing, even if she’s not really amused. “You make it sound like our relationship is a crime.” She pauses, thinks on it for a moment. “Not too off the mark, actually,” she adds more softly, playing with the ring on her index finger. It’s a simple thing, surprisingly inelegant, a little black stone—not entirely what he would have expected from the vivacious River Song, who seems to wear her various fashion accessories in the same way that buildings wear their flashing signs. “We’re always stealing moments.
