Have a beefy clip from Chapter 9 of The Maiden and the Drowning Boy that I worked on today during my writing sprint today. I really do get a lot done when I sprint.
His mother stood above it all, a beacon at the high table and his fear caused his steps to dalter. She looked so young next to the ancient Lord Tully seated beside her. The green of her gown shone emerald in the light and he could make out the embroidery that made it seem like she had scales of her own. Her hair was in a low bun at the nape of her neck and the silver tiara she wore rested gently in her hair. Rubies the size of his thumb were fitted along the delicately wrought crown, each one lined with little sparkling emeralds. Fire of the Dragon. Fire of the Hightower. Of Castamere, Aegon thought, noticing the lion broach on his mother’s bodice. Rubies for house Targaryen, rubies and silver for House Reyne. The house of the grandmother Aegon had never met. Was it always the loss of a mother and a wife that turned people cruel and cold? The loss of grandmother turning his grandfather into the cruel man he was, Mother into the fearful creature with her lion claws, his own sire too caught in the memory of the woman he’d ordered to die for the promise of a son. Would losing Abrogail do the same to him?
Fuck him, he hadn’t had a proper drink in weeks and the wheel of his thoughts that he worked so desperately to avoid was threatening to derail him before he could even reach the dais and present himself to his mother’s hidden ridicule. What’s worse, was how he’d actually looked forward to it had Abrogail been on his arm than her uncle’s.
Better than being touched by that Vance prick, who had entered behind him but steered clear. Good.
A hand slipped along his right arm and Aegon startled. Helaena hummed and gave him a slight smile. Her silver hair hung freely down her back with a braid wrapped around her head like a crown and woven with a strand of rubies and chips of dark dragonglass. She wore no veil, her dress the same twilight blue as Abrogail’s, although low cut across her shoulders and dipped across her chest. Black embroidery crept along her bodice in the shapes of dragon flame. A simple gold and sapphire necklace hung about her throat, and her lavender eyes were curious and searching his face.
“Do you think I look pretty as well?” she teased him softly and Aegon rolled his eyes.
“You look nice,” he said softly, their heads leaning towards each other while they walked towards the dias. “Mother will have a fit. Who have you dressed up for?” He might have asked if she dressed for Aemond, but after the display in the garden the prior day, Aegon thought that would not be the wisest question to ask. They may not have discussed it, but it hadn’t escaped Aegon’s notice that while Aemond was the one who discussed future marriage with Helaena, how their love was so insufferably true, Helaena’s feelings on the matter were noticeably absent. Little more than agreeable hums and nods and changes of the subject.
“For myself. Some people think their breasts are worth showing off and need to learn their place.” Arching an eyebrow, Aegon followed his sister’s gaze to where Cassandra Baratheon was speaking with some other lord, those breasts of hers drawing his gaze once more. He snorted and Helaena pushed his arm good naturedly. “I’m right, you know. What is a doe to a dragon? No need to give her delusions of grandeur more than she already has.”
“Thought about this a lot this week, have you?”
“Of course. I do not like how she speaks to little Floris so, and Abby-” Helaena paused and squeezed his arm. “You both look terribly upset again. Not that I don’t enjoy making Mother’s face look like she’s sucking on lemons again walking in with you, but what’s happened?”

OFMD WEEK 2023
Tumblr media
Ahoy there, pirates! OMFD season 2 is right around the corner so I wanted to organize an official OFMD WEEK to celebrate! I’ve tried to come up with some original prompts for each day, and it will run from Sunday, September 24th to Saturday, September 30th right before season 2 drops. Make sure to use the hashtag #OFMDWeek2023 so that we can locate your works and keep it all in one place. I hope many of you are able to participate and support those who do by liking and reblogging their posts, as well as reblogging this to get the word around! I’ll be posting reminders and updates leading up to it. Have fun and get creative with it!!
OFMD Week Prompts:
Day 1 (September 24th): Favourite crew member
Writers: write a fic about a character’s past or origins if they haven’t already been explored in the show. It’s your last chance to cement any headcanons into writing before season 2 adds new info to the mix on your favourite crew member
Gifmakers: freestyle/favourite character’s highlights
Artists: freestyle
Day 2 (September 25th): Music Monday
Writers: you know the drill, it’s song lyric title time!! Use lyrics from songs of your choice to inspire a story
Gifmakers: either use song lyrics from songs of your choice in your gifsets OR use your favourite song feature from season 1 in your gifsets
Artists: draw the crew/characters as your favourite bands or singers! wanna see Ed as Prince? Stede in full ABBA gear? The crew as KISS? Queen? Draw them at the Eras Tour? Get creative with it!
Day 3 (September 26th): Recurring themes/symbols
Writers: put your favourite recurring themes or symbols to action and expand them in a fic
Gifmakers: favourite recurring themes/symbols (i.e. the red handkerchief, the petrified orange, the lighthouse, the teal earring, the kraken, etc.) OR parallels
Artists: incorporate your favourite colour motif or symbol into your artwork
Day 4 (September 27th): Favourite ships
Writers: FLUFF GALORE! Since season 2 will undoubtedly serve us much angst, your mission is to write something as delightful and fluffy as can be for your favourite ships
Gifmakers: favourite ship + best moments from season 1
Artists: similar to the writers, draw your favourite ships, from canon couples to rarepairs, doing something fluffy and domestic
Day 5 (September 28th): AU/Crossover Mania
Writers: write any AUs or crossovers that you would want to see!!
Gifmakers: FREE SPACE - this is a hard one to attempt for gifsets so consider this day your day to post whatever creative, colourful, or fun gifsets you may have planned!
Artists: draw OFMD character(s) in an alternate universe OR crossing paths with another fictional universe entirely 👀
Day 6 (September 29th): Friendship Friday
Writers: prompt is found family or friendship fluff! take the time to explore in writing your favourite on screen (or not yet seen) friendships
Gifmakers: favourite crew moments or friendship moments from season 1
Artists: draw an unlikely duo and a passtime they’d both enjoy (or just any friendship from the show, this one has lots of flexibility to it)
Day 7 (September 30th): Season 2 theories and trailer moments
Writers: this is the last chance to get in any speculation fics!
Gifmakers: favourite moments and looks from the trailer
Artists: draw your predictions or your favourite outfits from the promos
Again, make sure to tag all your work using the #OFMDWeek2023 tag!
Oh, and post this to Twitter if you can. Get the word around! Happy creating everyone, season 2 is on its way! 🏳️‍🌈

This Week In BL
Feb 2021 Part 3
Being a highly subjective assessment of one tiny corner of the interwebs.
Tumblr media
Ongoing Series Thai
1000 Stars Ep 4 - so flipping lovely, I’ve come entirely around to this show.
Manner of Death Ep 13 - the penultimate episode was as angsty & twisty as we could want, but it’s starting to feel a bit stretched. Although new tag #oakcake is the best thing ever.
Brothers Ep 2 - still a mess but there’s a cute foodie side couple (young college student wants cute older baker). As the world’s foremost ChampDoc proponent I am obviously in it for them. The other couples though... eek.
Tumblr media
Ongoing Series Not Thai
You Are Ma Boy Ep 6 (Vietnam) - second week running with no new episode and no indication as to why. If it ended at 5 then it ended on a cliffhanger. Grrr.
Amore Ep 27 (Pinoy) - FINALLY finished its run at 27 episodes! TWENTY SEVEN. I stopped watching it ages ago but it’s done now so if you’re a binger and you need to see the “everyone wants Joey” show, it’s all on YouTube. We salute your bravery.
Tumblr media
Stand Alones
Finally watched Korea’s Step For You from 2018 (in preparation for You Make Me Dance). OMG it’s SO CUTE. And who says Korea can’t do kisses? Oh wait, that was me. Anyway, no dead fish here. School newspaper journalist has to interview the next big thing senior dancer and falls in love with him. Short af but ADORABLE.
I got my brains back and decided to FINALLY watch 2015 Japanese BL Seven Days. It comes in two parts: Seven Days: Monday - Thursday & Seven Days: Friday - Sunday. You can watch it eng subbed on YouTube. It’s one of the best Japanese BLs ever made (FIGHT ME) and that’s because it has a lot of the breezy style of something like 2gether (with, sadly the same heat level - low). The leads have a similar comfort level with each other which yields up fantastic on screen chemistry. It’s a charming af high school story with none of the usual stalker/obsession/rapey elements (nor the egregiously cartoonish humor) I’ve come to expect from Japanese BL. Despite the setting, it’s a lot more in the Cherry Magic vain than, say, Takumi-kun. GO WATCH IT. The hair is bonkers, but if that’s all I can think of bad to say, you know it must be good.
Tumblr media
The TharnType Wedding Special PPV dropped last week. Champ & Doc officially got together so I was happy. They hit a bunch of tropes, said I do, and that was that. I pronounce it...
Tumblr media
Breaking News - So Many Teasers & They Dark AF
More promos for HIStory 4 keep dropping so I think we can assume this is coming sooner rather than later. (Taiwan doesn’t raise funding the way Thailand does with test teasers, so we only see promo when the thing has started filming.)
We Best Love 2 dropped its trailer. It’s a doozie. We’re all hoping for a happy ever after but frankly Taiwan means 50/50 chance at best. They love pathos and many of us will never recover from HIStory 3: Make Our Days Count. I’m terrified by the season 2 trailer.
You Make Me Dance dropped a teaser, that’s our next one out of Korea.
Lovely Writer showed its dark underbelly with a new angst-riddled teaser... what’s that? A wheaser?
Secret Admirer the Series dropped its first teaser. I had this one on the rumors list but not actual, so I bumped it up in the upcoming 2021 BL master post. It’s only a taste, it could be gunning for 2022. The director can’t be trusted with happy endings - so I’m not sure about it.
Tumblr media
Gossip
Wild rumors persist that there will be a new 2gether installment in which someone gets married. I wouldn’t be surprised to see GMMTV milk that cash cow especially if F4 is delayed. (With all these BLs featuring marriage, maybe the Thai government will legalize it on account of the boost destination weddings would give the tourist industry post covid?)
Bad Roommate dropped a teaser for all you Gen Y Padlock lovers out there (waves at @heretherebedork). Do we trust Star Hunter after the Gen Y debacle? Maybe? I don’t know. Who cares, it’s fresh content.
More rumors of a We Best Love special episode before season 2. If they’re true my guess is it’s another behind the scenes thingy.
Fish Upon the Sky is reported to drop ep 1 on Friday, April 9th, 2021! This is the rivals to lovers BL I’ve been waiting for!
I am SO FLIPPING EXCITED.
Initial murmurs about Close Friend - a 6 ep run featuring established BL ships from an unknown director: KimCop (2Moons & Gen Y), OhmFluke (Until We Meet Again), JimmyTommy & MaxNat (Why R U), JaFirst (TharnType 2), and YoonLay (YYY). Either each couple gets their own episode (like Our Skyy) or it will be more like You Never Eat Alone. Ships may or may not be playing the same characters as previous.
Tumblr media
A few more promo shots posted for Y-Destiny. It looks more serious than director Cheewin normally goes for (YYY & You Never Eat Alone). I don’t know if that means anything or if it’s just a mature styling we’re seeing in Thai BL as a result of the actors getting older and the influence of Manner of Death and KinnPorsche.
Speaking of You Never Eat Alone is supposed to be finally dropping official Eng Subs somewhere, and ep 9 features Prem & Boun. I’m not bothering with this one so I don’t know where it’s posting.
Tumblr media
Next Week Looks Like This:
Tumblr media
Upcoming 2021 BL master post here.
Links to watch are provided when possible, ask in a comment if I missed something.

Wrestle Kingdom 15 Night 2 - January 5, 2020; Tokyo Possibly Entering Another "State Of Emergency” This Week
Tumblr media
The second night of the biggest date(s) on the NJPW calendar, Wrestle Kingdom 15, was held earlier today, and you can see it now on NJPWWorld or FITE TV. As expected, a lot happened here.
- January 5, 2021, Tokyo Dome (NJPWWorld, FITE TV)
STARDOM Offer Match: Utami Hayashishita, Saya Kamitani & AZM [Queen’s Quest] d. Maika, Natsupoi & Himeka [Donna del Mundo] (Kamitani > Natsupoi, Phoenix Splash, 9:48) (Untelevised Dark Match)
STARDOM Offer Match: Giulia & Syuri [Donna del Mundo] d. Mayu Iwatami [STARS] & Tam Nakano [Cosmic Angels] (Giulia > Nakano, Glorious Driver, 12:49)  (Untelevised Dark Match)
Provisional KOPW2021 4-Way Match: Toru Yano [CHAOS] d. BUSHI [Los Ingobernables], Bad Luck Fale [Bullet Club] & Chase Owens [Bullet Club] (Yano > BUSHI, Pinfall, 7:34) - Yano is the Provisional KOPW2021
IWGP Juniorheavyweight Tag Team Championship: El Desperado & Yoshinobu Kanemaru [SZKG] © d. Ryusuke Taguchi & Master Wato (Desperado > Taguchi, Pinche Loco, 13:20) - Despy/Kanemaru succeed their 2nd defense
NEVER Openweight Championship: Shingo Takagi [Los Ingobernables] © d. Jeff Cobb [The Empire] (Last of the Dragon, 21:11) - Shingo succeeds his 1st defense
SANADA [Los Ingobernables] d. EVIL [Bullet Club] (Moonsault Press, 23:40)
IWGP Juniorheavyweight Championship: Hiromu Takahashi [Los Ingobernables] d. Taiji Ishimori [Bullet Club] © (Timebomb II, 25:31) - Ishimori fails his 1st defense - Hiromu is the 88th champion
IWGP Heavyweight & IWGP Intercontinental Championships: Kota Ibushi ©© d. Jay White [Bullet Club] (Kamigoye, 48:05) - Ibushi succeeds his 1st IWGP Heavyweight defense - Ibushi succeeds his 1st IWGP Intercontinental defense
Making his first defense of the Double Gold a mere 24 hours after winning the belts from Tetsuya Naito, Kota Ibushi defends the titles against Switchblade in what has to be the third-longest IWGP Heavyweight title match since I started this blog (the other two being the Best 2 Out Of 3 Falls match at Dominion 2018, and the 60-minute time-limit draw at Dominion 2017, both featuring Kazuchika Okada v. Kenny Omega). Ibushi was victorious, and was immediately challenged by SANADA, who vanquished his former partner EVIL earlier in the show, for the belts, which was met with a handshake. Backstage, Ibushi swore he was going to unify the titles, which puts a nice little bit of confusion as to whether or not these are still separate titles, or a situation like AJPW’s original Triple Crown. Certainly in the Naito era, they were defended as if one unified title. But as Naito himself complained, NJPW have never been clear about this at all. There certainly are arguments both for, and against, the Double Gold being a unified title. We’ll have those arguments soon enough.
Jay White, in the meantime, cut one HELL of a promo, claiming he is “done,” and he was speaking not as Switchblade, but “Jamie,” and how much he sacrificed in the midst of a pandemic, and still his New Era has not come to pass. He claims he will be at New Year Dash!! tomorrow, but not after that. The going theories are:
He is quitting NJPW and going to either AEW or WWE
He is either quitting, or getting kicked out of, Bullet Club, which will lead to a babyface turn
This is just Jay being the fragile edgy edgelord that the Switchblade character always has been, and this is all a ruse.
I would say the latter two are the most likely, as I don’t think Jay White is quitting NJPW. Kenny Omega said this same line after failing against Okada at WK11 too. He was back soon enough. I don’t know about Jay as babyface at this stage; certainly, when he was a Young Lion and on excursion at ROH, he was a good baby. (My partner certainly wants him to be that again!) Switchblade became the top heel in NJPW, with such an unorthodox promo style, some very sneaky cheating offense, and got the crowd to absolutely hate him the way he should be. That’s a very rare talent nowadays in modern professional wrestling. Either way, tomorrow’s show maybe will shed some light.
Hiromu Takahashi, by virtue of winning BOSJ27, beating the Super J-Cup 2020 winner, AND regaining the IWGP Juniorheavyweight title, is now the unquestioned Ace of the junior division, taking that particular vacancy left by KUSHIDA. And really, we always could see that coming. This match being the semi-main of a Wrestle Kingdom shows what kind of power Hiromu has as a performer, and how much of an absence there is when he is not there.
Shingo v. Cobb absolutely banged, and you need to see that match for sure. Master Wato does not have a title as yet. He will get one soon I am certain. Toru Yano begins 2021 the way he left 2020, by being the Provisional KOPW2021, even tho it was at the cost of BUSHI. The two STARDOM matches went off very well from what I am told, but we won’t ever know for certain, as STARDOM even confirmed these matches won’t be on STARDOM World either. Alas.
The announced attendance today was 7,801, which is a lot closer to what the government had in mind. Even so, that is a 5,000+ drop from yesterday. Last year’s shows, which were not in a pandemic, saw a 10,000 or so drop between Night 1 and Night 2 as well. Certainly the pandemic and the limited amount of seating allowed played a part, but also, I have to think that the crowd is still more in tune with the traditional January 4 date for this show that’s been in effect since 1992. This year’s attendance really shouldn’t be any sort of measuring stick, due to the pandemic, and everything surrounding it. The two-night WK may not be necessary next year. But it may be.
On that note, there is talk of Tokyo going into a state of emergency (read: lockdown) as soon as the end of this week:
The Japanese government said on Monday it was considering declaring a state of emergency in and around Tokyo as coronavirus cases climb, casting fresh doubt over whether it can push ahead with the summer Olympics and keep economic damage to a minimum.
Citing government sources, Kyodo News reported that preparations were being made for a state of emergency that would take effect by Friday and last about a month.
Tokyo and the three surrounding prefectures, which have requested an emergency declaration, asked residents to refrain from non-essential, non-urgent outings after 8 p.m. from Friday until at least the end of the month, and said eateries must close by that time.
Economy Minister Yasutoshi Nishimura, in charge of coronavirus countermeasures, said the government would make a decision on an emergency “as soon as possible” after listening to experts.
Quite a bit of this has been foisted into the spotlight internationally as sumo yokozuna Hakuho has tested positive for COVID-19, as well as other rikishi not in Hakuho’s stable, and there is talk that the upcoming year-opening basho, due to start Sunday at Tokyo Ryogoku Kokugikan, may not happen at all. Nothing has been decided yet as far as I can see. This won’t affect New Year Dash!! happening tomorrow. This may definitely affect the New Beginning cycle of shows, the vast majority of which take place at Tokyo Korakuen Hall, with another at Tokyo Ota Ward Gymnasium. Things can change very quickly.
Wrestle Kingdom 15 is now over. Tomorrow’s New Year Dash!! card will give us some idea at how the NJPW year will start to take shape. Jay’s promo definitely put the cat among the pigeons. The show will be on NJPWWorld, and maybe on FITE TV although I can’t find that for certain. As is tradition, this is a mystery card, not revealed until the show starts.
Hope you enjoyed both nights of Wrestle Kingdom 15, and here’s to a thrilling 2021 for New Japan Pro Wrestling.

Hi babes! This is Day 18 of the 25 days of summer series by the wonderful @always-jackedup I hope you enjoy this and go give all the wonderful stories in this series a read! You won’t regret it!💖
Day 18: Somewhere on a beach, where y/n and Harry spend the day at the beach with friends(I made this into a life With Narry Story)
25 days of summer mastelrsit!
“Niall James if you don’t come here,” you pointed to the spot in the sand right in front of you. “And let me put this sunscreen on you, I won’t let you get in the ocean.” You threatened making Niall just roll his eyes as Harry chuckled as he laid down on the towel that was next to yours on the beach.
“M’not a bloody child Princess,” Niall snapped as he turned so his back was facing you. “I already applied dis stuff before we got here.” Niall looked at you over his shoulder just in time to see you slide your sunglasses down your nose so you could shoot him a glare.
“You smell that?” You and Niall turned to see Harry looking around until his eyes landed on Niall. “It smells like someone’s pants are on fire.” You laughed as Niall flipped him the bird making Harry just smile as he put his hands behind his head to get comfortable on his beach towel.
You quickly sprayed Niall’s back and and even squatted down to get the back of his legs before standing up and tapping his shoulder. “Turn around and hold your breath.” You instructed making Harry snicker as Niall slid his sunglasses from off the top of his head and tossed them onto your beach towel. You sprayed his chest and did a quick once over of his face before taking some and spraying it on your palms making Niall raise an eyebrow as you rubbed your hands together before rubbing his ears making Harry once again burst into a fit of giggles as he watched from his beach towel.
“Yer next ya arsehole.” Niall mumbled as you made sure his ears got covered with the spf, you knew if you didn’t do it then he’d be whining later about how everything hurt and you just didn’t want to deal with it.
“Nope,” Harry stated as he turned so he was now laying on his side facing Niall who was bent over picking up his sunglasses. “I don’t burn like you do Ni.” He added making you laugh as you bent down and dropped the sunscreen into your beach bag. You grabbed your hat and put it on before headed towards the water with Niall following behind you. You were only ankle deep, trying to get used to the temperature when you felt arms wrap around your waist and lift you up.
“Only one way to get used to the water Princess.” You let out a squeal as Harry began walking further out into the ocean. “Just need to get it over with.” He added as he put you down in mid thigh deep water. You turned around and smacked his chest making him let out a laugh.
“You’re in a good mood this morning,” you stated as you reached your hands down into the water so you could playfully splash him. “Does this have anything to do with a certain musical project that might be finished?” You watched a smirk form on Harry’s face as he shrugged, you knew he was done in the studio since last week because all of a sudden he had all this free time and would show up at your house or work randomly.
“Maybe,” He said as he splashed you back making you laugh. “Or I’m just happy to be around my best friends enjoying this lovely day at the beach.” You looked at him and smiled before you moved a little to the side so you could see Niall slowly but surely making his way over to the two of you in the water.
“It’s bloody freezin,” You laughed as you Niall finally reached the two of you with a little frown on his face. “M’gonna turn into an Irish ice cube by da time we get out.” He added and Harry just rolled his eyes and splashed him making Niall let out a groan.
“Don’t be such a baby.” You teased as you submerged yourself so that only your chest was above water. “It feels fine, just have to get used to it.” You watched Niall roll his eyes before he went under the water quickly with Harry doing the same.
“Nope.” Niall’s voice was low as he ran his hands through his wet hair. “Still fuckin cold.” You laughed as Harry shook his hair causing water to fling onto you and Niall.
“So what’s the plan for next week boys?” You asked as you adjusted your hat while walking out deeper into the water. “Who’s doing what and where?” You added making both boys laugh because they didn’t even realize it was Sunday, and on Sundays you liked to have a rundown of the following week so you knew when you’d have time to see each of them.
“M’not doin a whole lot.” Niall stayed as he made it to where he was next to you while Harry was on your other side. “Got a few meetins on Monday and Thursday, den finishin some studio stuff Friday but other dan day m’free.” He wrapped his arm over your shoulder making you smile.
“I have a meeting on Tuesday, and we have dinner Wednesday.” Harry looked at you and you just nodded, you knew he was thinking you’d forgotten but you were never one to forget things that involved food and wine.
“Dinner? Since when did we have dinner plans?” Niall asked as he leaned his head so he could look at Harry who just pursed his lips and looked away from Niall. “S’a bloody P and H date innit? Dats some bullshit mate ya got er all last week while I was at me golf tournament.” You just wrapped your arm around Niall’s waist and pulled him closer to you as the three of you stopped walking once you were a little over waist deep in the water.
“It’s not like that Niall,” You tried to reassure him but he just rolled his eyes. “It’s more of a business meeting.” You added making him look at you with a raised eyebrow.
“Yer lettin her hear it aren’t ya?” Niall asked Harry who just dropped his arm over your shoulder on top of Niall’s.
“Only a few tracks, the ones that are going to be released as singles before the whole album is out.” Harry answered making Niall smile and nod his head while you just looked at both of them and smiled.
“S’a big deal mate,” Niall admitted causing Harry to just shrug. “Ya‘ve been workin hard on dis album H, s’gonna be great.” You watched Harry bite back a grin because even though he jokes about being a narcissist he really did crave the approval of the people he cared about the most.
“I’ll be sure to tell you all about it,” Niall laughed as you shot him a wink while Harry just shook his head. “Unless he makes me sign a non disclosure agreement.” You joked as you looked at Harry who was playfully glaring at you.
“It was one time,” Harry defended making Niall laugh as he slid his arm from around your shoulder. “I even made my mum sign one.” You rolled your eyes as Niall reached down and put his hands in the water.
“Can’t believe ya made poor Anne sign a bloody NDA.” Niall said as he tried to splash Harry but he quickly pulled you so you were now in front of him. “Yer such a wanker.” You squealed as Niall tried to splash Harry again but he kept making you block it.
“Harry Edward if you don’t stop,” You squealed making Harry just laugh as Niall kept splashing at Harry and getting you in the process. “Niall James!” You whined making Niall chuckle as he stopped splashing. “Such children.” You huffed as Harry just wrapped both arms around your shoulders and rested his chin on top of your head.
“But you love us don’t ya?” Niall asked as he gave you his best grin making you just playfully roll your eyes.
“A little too much actually.” You admitted as Harry placed a wet sloppy kiss to the top of your head. “Life would be boring without my boys.” Harry gave you a squeeze as Niall just nodded his head in agreement because you and Harry added quite a good bit of fun to his mundane day too day life.
“Our lives wouldn’t be the same without you either Princess.” You just smiled as Harry began rocking you back and forth as you brought your hands up to cover his.
The three of you spent the rest of the day at the beach, enjoying the sun and the water and just soaking up as much time together as you could. You knew this was one of the last days that all three of you would be together for a while because you had the inside scoop that both of their albums were near completed and once that happened you knew it was only a matter of time before the promo tours and headlining stadium tours began. While of course you’d go and see them as often as you could it wasn’t the same as when all three of you were home and able to relax together. It was days like today where the three of you could just go and enjoy the day and each other’s company that you loved the most.

WWE Monday Night Raw 6/17/19 Review
We started out with Elias actually, which was refreshing. and he was immediately burying Los Angeles. He announced that he would be the ref at Stomping Grounds, and the second that he said that, Seth Rollins showed up behind him and beat him with a chair. Rollins then got on the mic, and said that anyone who takes the special guest referee job will get beaten with a chair. Then he just left and they moved on.
Grade: B+. You know what, I really liked this. It was short and to the point, unlike most of the Raw openers. We are seeing a much more tweener side of Rollins lately, and I am kinda into it. He isn’t taking Corbin’s shit anymore, he has bigger stuff to worry about. Also, even though the first match was 15 minutes in like it normally is, it wasn’t because of an overly long promo, it was a short segment followed by a lot of entrances. This was a good way to open the show, and I was glad to see something different in this spot.
So, then we went right into a fatal 5-way elimination match, the winner getting to challenge Samoa Joe for the US Championship at Stomping Grounds. Miz vs. Bobby Lashley vs. Cesaro vs. Ricochet vs. Braun Strowman. Oddly enough, everyone beat up Elias with their finisher before the match started. It made sense when Miz did it first, but then the heels did it too, and Ricochet, and Braun. Everyone went for Strowman immediately, so he threw around the smaller guys. Cesaro hit an angle slam on him early on, but Strowman countered out of a neutralizer to hit Cesaro with a running power slam.  He followed it up with a running powerslam to Lashley, putting him right down on Cesaro. He then pinned Cesaro to eliminate him, soon hitting Lashley with another one to eliminate him as well. Strowman then ran around the ring for bodyslams, which destroyed Ricochet. Strowman was going to get Miz, but the already eliminated Lashley nailed him with a spear, followed by a neutralizer from the elimnated Cesaro. and a 630 senton from the still legal Ricochet. All three pinned him to eliminate him, but he was so pissed that he got back up and threw Ricochet out of the ring. He then beat down both Lashley and Cesaro on the ramp, leaving just Miz and Ricochet in the match. The two then had a pretty exciting match. Miz and Ricochet had a nice submission sequence in the figure four, Ricochet fought out of it. Ricochet then hit a codebreaker and a 630 senton for the win. Joe then attacked after the match, but Ricochet stood tall.
Grade: B+. Really hot way to open the show. The match set up a feud for Strowman with either Cesaro or Lashley, so I suspect that we will be getting one more match from that. Miz and Ricochet had an awesome ending sequence that ended up giving us a dream match. I do wish that we could have the benedriller back from Ricochet, call it something else if they have to. It was just a cool move, better than a codebreaker ripoff. But I am really excited for this match, it should be great. As for this match, it was incredibly fast right out of the gate and kept it up really good opener for Raw.
So then we had Becky Lynch cutting a promo on Lacy Evans calling her out for being pretentious. Evans then came out, saying that she is tough as nails behind her classy exterior. Evans then talked about her life story, being a marine and such, and said that she is what the women’s division deserves. Evans was talking as she entered the ring, and Lynch just attacked the second that she stepped through the ropes, hitting her with the manslaughter and stealing her hat before walking out.
Grade: D+. We see this every week, and while this did change the name of the manhandle slam to a much better name, this was just as bad as all their other interactions. They do this every week, and it hasn’t gotten better.
Next up was an interview with Baron Corbin about the guest referee situation, as Elias has decided not to do it after the attack. He said that he would reveal the new ref on the Kevin and Sami show, only for Rollins to hit him in the back with a chair. I don’t know why, but I love having Rollins just hitting people with a chair out of nowhere.
Daniel Bryan and Rowan then came out. Bryan heeled on Los Angeles, and on Raw which was weird that he heeled on a brand. He called the citizens of the city ignorant, and said that he would beat Rollins, and that he would excite the people of LA.
Grade: C+. Why did we have this? It didn’t kill much time, and didn’t really accomplish anything. Although I do like hearing Bryan talk, so it wasn’t awful.
Then we had the Viking Raiders in a quick squash. Fun Times.
Grade: B-. Inoffensive Squash, although I hate that their finisher is called the viking experience. Thor’s hammer is so much better.
Then we saw R-Truth and Carmella in disguises hiding in the crowd. The camera lingered on them along enough for the low card guys to recognize them and chase out after them. They tried to grab him from under the ring, but they ended up just grabbing Titus O’Neil. They chased Truth through the crowd.
Grade: B-. This was actually the only 24/7 segment on the show, but it was funny enough to be on the positive side. These segments are genuinely a highlight of these shows now.
Then we had a backstage segment, where Heath Slater showed up at Shane McMahons backstage VIP room. He asked for a raise to help his kids, but Shane said no. He walked out, and then McIntyre pretended that he would help, before dropping the money and beating Slater up. As they dragged McIntyre off of Slater, The Revival picked up all the money that was dropped, which was pretty funny.
Into the Kevin and Sami show, with Corbin as the guest. Right out of the gate, Sami Zayn refused to be the guest referee, as did Kevin Owens. Corbin then said that EC3 would be the ref, and Rollins nailed him in the back with a steel chair on the ramp. Corbin was then annoyed that Rollins was “Taking away an opportunity from an up and coming superstar. Then the New Day randomly showed up. Big E covered EC3 with his shirt, as Zayn yelled at them for crashing the show. Kofi said that he goes wherever he wants whenever he wants. Corbin then challenged them to a 6-man tag, so the New Day grabbed EC3, and pretended that he would be the ref, despite that he was knocked out.
Grade: C. Another meh promo that didn’t accomplish much. I liked the first half, but the second was just promoting the WWE Championship match. Plus, I didn’t appreciate EC3 getting ridiculed by the New Day. He could’ve been huge. He should’ve been huge. This was just pointless and not overly entertaining.
Backstage, before the next match, AJ Styles was getting checked out by a doctor, and Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson talked to him a bit. Styles said that they needed to be serious again, and they said that they would show him that they are serious, and great competitors. Sounds like a fun match.
Then we had The New Day against Corbin, Owens and Zayn in a 2 out of 3 falls match. They also booked Xavier Woods and Big E against Zayn and Owens at Stomping Grounds. Woods quickly got the first fall out of a rollup on Zayn. Big E was beaten down, and Kofi had a big hot tag. The heels fell apart a bit after Corbin hit his around the post clothesline, but Kingston ducked it so it hit Zayn. Owens was so pissed about that that he superkicked Corbin and then walked out with Zayn. That allowed Kingston to hit Corbin with a trouble in paradise for the second fall and win.
Grade: C+. Pretty meh match, nothing really happened here, and there was no reason for it to be 2 out of 3 falls match really. They didn’t utilize that enough. Basically, this match was to show that no one likes Corbin, and I guess it accomplished that.
Backstage, Alexa Bliss gave Niki Cross a note saying that they will get a Women’s Tag Match together. Cross was really excited, but Bliss seemed kinda freaked out by the excitement.
Paul Heyman was then out for a promo, talking about Lesnar’s briefcase. He said that he wouldn’t be the guest referee at stomping grounds. He said that Lesnar would be happy to accept the position, and to pick the scraps from the title match.
Grade; B. Fine promo, I liked the idea of Lesnar being the guest referee in that match. But otherwise, I would kinda prefer that Heyman isn’t around, because I like the idea of forgetting that Lesnar even existed and cashing in when we least expect it. That’d be nice, but I don’t know if it will happen.
Backstage, Eric Young was offered the spot of guest referee for the match on sunday. But Rollins showed up, saying that he knew Young wouldn’t compromise him. He told him not to be worried, right before beating the crap out of him with a chair. Rollins is kinda becoming a heel a bit with this.
The usos then cut a backstage promo on the Good Brothers, saying they would win.
Then we had The Usos vs. The Good Brothers. I loved to see the Good Brothers back in action. They had control, before Anderson started to taunt the crowd and his opponents. However, they were about to get the win with magic killer, but the Usos hit Gallows with a bunch of superkicks for the win.
Grade: C. Nothing really happened here. This could’ve been a great match if they gave it more time, but they didn’t so it was boring and just kinda used for a story that may not amount to anything.
Then we had Roman Reigns talking about his loss at super showdown. He wanted to fight Shane, but Shane refused to come out. He said that Roman shouldn’t be ashamed of losing to the best in the world, and then McIntyre said that he would destroy Roman in the match on Sunday, and was describing it for an annoying amount of time, before Reigns hopped the barricade and stormed backstage. He was going to the lounge, the Revival tried to stop him. He beat the both of them down, before brawling with McIntyre backstage. He put McIntyre through a table, before chasing Shane back out to the ring and beating the crap out of him at ringside. He gave him a spear, and left him laying.
Grade: B-. The promo was bad, but I enjoyed the backstage brawl, it’d been a while since we saw something like that. It was fun, and Shane got some comeuppance. Checks some nice boxes.
Backstage, Bayley was interviewed about how she refused to take a picture with a fan who had a Nikki Cross shirt on. Bayley said it was BS, but Naomi and Natalya were questioning whether or not it was true. So Bliss is turning all the ladies against Bayley, I like that.
Then we had a Women’s Tag Team Championship match, the IIconics vs. Nikki Cross and Alexa Bliss. The champs cut a promo talking about how Bliss and Cross were not a good enough team to take them out, and they didn’t deserve to have a match. Bayley showed up to watch the match too. The heels beat up Nikki in the corner. Bliss pushed Bayley on the outside, so Bayley pulled Bliss out of the ring when she went to break up a pin. So the IIconics retained, and Bayley looked like a dick.
Backstage, Alexa told Nikki that Bayley cost them the belts. Cross said that she would be in Bliss’s corner on Sunday.
Grade: C-. The match really sucked, but I love the story of them pseudo turning Bayley heel by having Alexa manipulate everyone. it was really cool, and I liked it a lot. Put I was bummed that the IIconics didn’t drop the belts here, as Alexa and Nikki would be fun as a team.
Into the firefly funhouse, Bray called for the fans to follow him, because he is finally ready to lead them. No one else can, so he has to. Honestly, find this on Youtube, I can’t do it justice. It was the creepiest one yet.
Backstage we had Bryan be interviewed about his match against Rollins, and he said that Rollins shouldn’t be allowed to wield a weapon, and vowed to beat him like he always had.
And in the main event, we had Seth Rollins vs. Daniel Bryan. The two went fast and furious right out of the gate. Rollins hit a suicide dive, only to go for another one, and Rowan caught him in a claw slam for the DQ. They started to beat up Rollins with a running knee. so the New Day ran out, followed by the Revival, Zayn and Owens, and then the usos. There was a giant brawl, and then they restarted the match and just banned everyone from ringside. There was a cool spot where Rollins went for an ensiguri. but Bryan caught it and locked in an ankle lock, transitioning into a german suplex. At one point, Bryan countered a blackout into a lebell lock for a submission sequence. Rollins eventually fought back into things, hitting the superplex, but bryan countered the falcon’s arrow into a rollup for a near fall. Soon after that, Rollins hit the blackout for real and for the win.
After the match, Corbin beat Rollins with a chair on the ramp.
Grade: B+. These guys can do no wrong. They went out there and put out a really good main event. I hope that we can eventually see a title feud between the two, because they really kick ass together. Match of the night.
Overall Grade: C+
Pros: new opener; fatal 5-way; Heyman promo; main event
Cons: Evans and Lynch Promo; Kevin and Sami show; usos vs. good brothers; women’s tag team championships

SECTION IV. DIVERSITY
infiniteannihilation is devoted to diversity, be it with gender / sexuality or ethnicity. because of this, we’ve decided to implement a new policy. between 40-50% of each members roles must be a POC. this does not mean dropping or adding roles, although you’re welcome to do that. instead it means that faceclaims can be changed as well. the mods are also going to be following this rule and have been working on our faces && characters in advance of the notice. we have member stats so either reach out or we’ll come && find you to chat faces.

SECTION VII. APPLESS STATUS
we went appless for the holidays and have decided that until we get to a certain number of new members ( the number of which isn’t totally decided on yet ) we’re going to remain appless. it’s not a forever thing, but come get it while it’s hot !! nows your chance to join the fun. since this is tacked on the bottom of the post, we’ll be making a separate one for potential new members.
SECTION VIII. CLOSING NOTES
thanks for sticking with us, fam !! this one is uber important, so please hit the heart so we know you read this. if not, we will have to hunt you down && no one wants that. just like it, fam. until next time !! xx

MARCH 2019 GOLD STAR MEDIA SCHEDULES & REVIEW
Members may earn 3 points each (up to 6 points) for writing, by the end of March 31 KST:
A solo para of 400+ words based on their monthly schedule (does not count toward your monthly total).
A thread of six posts (three per participant, including the starter) based on their monthly schedule.
Threads do not have to take place directly during an important date listed on the schedule, but must be related to what the muse is mentioned to be doing in the paragraph explaining their schedule/the company’s schedule for the month and/or their thoughts on the mentioned activities or lack thereof.
These schedules may be updated throughout the month if new information needs to be added.
Overall Company
Preparations for the planned Gold Star Nation concert continue this month, keeping idols busy with engagements in the building to decide the overall set list and themes. Idols are asked for their input for suggestions on special collaboration and solo stages in one of the meetings they attend, but their suggestions aren’t guaranteed to happen by any stretch of the imagination.
Important dates
March 11: Lotte World CF Filming.
March 18: Lotte World Mall & Aquarium CF Filming.
Gold Star Soloist 1
She’s been asked to possibly talk to Gold Star Soloist 2 and Gold Star Soloist 3 about guesting at their concert sor doing a special cover video release to promote the concerts, and she’s also booked a private gig this month with Gold Star Soloist 2 doing a special performance at the wedding of an industry bigwig. She’s been offered the chance to pick her own setlist..
Important dates:
March 10: Wedding performance (w/ Gold Star Soloist 1)
Gold Star Soloist 2
Since both she and Gold Star Soloist 3 have solo concerts approaching, they’ve each been asked to discuss a possible collaboration to perform either during the concert or in a special cover video uploaded to social media. She’s been asked to do the same with Gold Star Soloist 1, although she doesn’t have a concert approaching. She’s also booked a private gig this month with Gold Star Soloist 1 doing a special performance at the wedding of an industry bigwig. She’s been offered the chance to pick her own setlist..
Important dates:
March 10: Wedding performance (w/ Gold Star Soloist 1).
Gold Star Soloist 3
Since both he and Gold Star Soloist 2 have solo concerts approaching, they’ve each been asked to discuss a possible collaboration to perform either during the concert or in a special cover video uploaded to social media. He’s been asked to do the same with Gold Star Soloist 1, although she doesn’t have a concert approaching. His concert and the subsequent tour begin last month, so he’s deep in final preparations for that following the end of his latest single promos last month.
Important dates:
N/A
Silhouette
Their VLive series filming ends this month with footage of their comeback week, and a sentimental group dinner at a small restaurant at the end of it all to reflect on their time since debut and their hopes for the future. “I Love You” is the follow up to their last single “Lady”, which didn’t do as phenomenally as some of their past releases, so Gold Star hopes this release will do better, which it will, but only marginally.
Important dates:
March 1: Weekly Idol filming (airing March 6).
March 6: Release of “I Love You” & showcase, promotions continue until April 6.
March 10: Fansign in Yeongdeungpo, Seoul.
March 24: Fansign in Incheon.
Aria
With their successful comeback promotions underway, Aria is chosen to do a series of CFs for a mobile game that takes advantage of their more chic concept for this comeback. Interest has been renewed in them as a popular group and they’ve gained some new fans from this comeback, which is impressive for a group who’s been around as long as they have.
Important dates:
March 18: End of “I’m So Sick” music show promotions.
March 19: Racing Star M CF filming.
Origin
Again, this month’s focus is on preparing for their comeback album. With every comeback, expectations from Gold Star and the general public get higher and higher, so it’s important to Gold Star’s staff that the album be the best they can produce, which is the elephant in the room of every recording session. They continue their tour too this month, with four dates in Hong Kong. Early in the month, they’ll film a CF for Smart Uniform (despite all members being well beyond school age now) for the start of what’s rumored to be their final year representing the brand after a long term partnership. CF sections are divided as such:
Intro: Vocal 1 & Vocal 2
Monday: Vocal 2
Tuesday: Lead rapper
Wednesday: Vocal 1
Thursday: Maknae/main vocal/lead dancer & Leader/main rapper
Friday: Leader/main rapper & Lead vocal/lead dancer
Saturday: Lead vocal/lead dancer
Sunday: Main dancer/lead rapper
Important dates:
March 4: Smart Uniform CF filming.
March 20: Love Yourself tour concert at Asiaworld-Expo Arena in Hong Kong.
March 21: Love Yourself tour concert at Asiaworld-Expo Arena in Hong Kong.
March 23: Love Yourself tour concert at Asiaworld-Expo Arena in Hong Kong.
March 24: Love Yourself tour concert at Asiaworld-Expo Arena in Hong Kong.
Impulse
Their newest Japanese album drops at the end of the month, so for the rest of the month they’ll be filming short videos to remind Japanese fans to buy it, and will be doing a few written interviews with Japanese magazines aimed at the young K-Pop fan demographic in the country with the standard ideal type, most likely to, etc. questions. Outside of that, they’re prepping for their Japanese arena tour that begins in May and are also in early meetings regarding their next Korean comeback.
All members should be moved out of the dorm by the end of the month if they are not already.
Important dates:
March 27: Release of I Won’t Let You Go Japanese album.
Fuse
“RBB” promotions end, and with a quick turnaround, “Sappy”, their new Japanese single, is released. Gold Star is already planning another Japanese single release following their Japanese and North American tour dates. Their Japan tour begins next month, so they’ll be pushed into some extra Japanese lessons in between rehearsals, but will also be encouraged to brush up on their English for the later North American stops.
Important dates:
March 1: End of “RBB (Really Bad Boy)” music show promotions.
March 11: Release of “Sappy” Japanese single.
March 28: Taipei Monster K-Pop Concert at Taipei Arena in Taipei, Taiwan.
Element
diet tw // After their concept meetings last month, the comeback has been tentatively set for a May goal date, so now that confirmation has finally been given by the right people, more time in the studio has been scheduled in, as well as a return to a stricter expected diet after a time where the company was more lax considering their minimal public group activities. The two monthly scheduled VLives they’ve had the past two months have been successful, so they’ll be doing another one mid-month with a bake-off theme (with teams of main rapper/lead dancer and main dancer/lead rapper vs. main vocal and lead vocal/lead dancer), where they’re encouraged to reassure the fans they’ll be coming back soon (without outright confirming the comeback plans).
Important dates:
March 1: OneK Concert in Seoul (with Alien, Knight, 7ROPHY, and Lucid).
March 14: “White Day with Aether” bake-off VLive.
Femme Fatale
This month will be the last month of filming for their reality show, so they’ll be filming the finale with a vacation to Thailand where they’ll have planned filming blocks on the beach, shopping, going on a food tour, and some free blocks where the members will get to choose what they’d like to film. While in South Korea, they’ll be shooting a photo shoot with Guess for their new season and continuing to work on recording their summer EP.
Important dates:
March 15: Guess photo shoot.
March 20-24: Reality show filming in Thailand.

Anthony’s Stupid Daily Blog (99): Mon 20th Jun 2022
I know I've been saying it for years but I'm going to start making a proper effort to get into shape. I've constantly made excuses for stuffing my fat face and putting off exercises over the years but now I have none. Granted I did have a genuine excuse for the last few months because I was comfort eating because of the shitty call centre job but now I have an awesome job so I should be able to take my healthy eating and exercise seriously. My ideal weight has always been 12 stone and at the moment I'm a frankly embarrassing 14.4 stone. I don't think I've ever been this heavy but I've been looking at pictures of myself from 10 years ago and I can't imagine how I was ever that trim because I've always been a greedy fucker, stuffing my face throughout the day and even snacking until just before bed time so Christ knows how I managed to avoid getting this fat until now. My goal is to try and get down to 12 stone before I go to the Edinburgh Fringe festival which gives me just over a month to drop 2 stone which sounds nearly impossible but in 2014 I lost a stone in 18 days just through diet and without any exercise so if I combine the same commitment to diet and also start exercising then I should shift a lot of extra weight. My plan is from Monday to Saturday to only have either breakfast biscuits or cereal in the morning then have a cup of soup during each lunch break at work and on Sunday's I'll allow myself a proper meal to reward myself for all the fasting I've done. I know that to lose weight you have to drink a shitload of water but if I do this at work that means I'll have to constantly go for piss breaks (unless they allow me to have a bucket at my station which I'm guessing they won't but they do have a suggestion board up in the lobby so maybe I'll suggest "Piss Buckets" as a way to increase productivity) so I'll have a cup of tea during breaks and as soon as I get home I'll start constantly drinking water for the rest of the day. I'll also alternate different types of exercise every day, one night I'll go for a run the next night I'll do weight training, another I'll do stomach crunches etc. Constantly being on my feet and moving around all day at work should burn a few calories anyway and I'm hopefully going to be starting surfing lessons soon which should contribute to some calorie burning.
Checked out last night's Slammiversary pay per view celebrating 20 years of Impact Wrestling. Impact has made some horrible decisions over the years mainly rehiring Vince Russo, Eric Bischoff and Hulk Hogan who fucked up the original vision for the company but you can't help admire the company's tenacity and ability to somehow stay alive despite the people in charge seemingly having self destructive tendencies over the years. Plus in recent years thanks to Scott D'Amore and Don Callis Impact has come to resemble what it once was yet again and their product is now one of the best in all of wrestling. Slammiversay was awesome, the company brought back several original match types, many former roster members and the entire night in general felt like a great birthday celebration. The Ultimate X match was really good and I'm glad Mike Bailey is the new champion. The one thing that really pissed me off about Dixie Carter bringing back Vince Russo as I knew that the X Division would take a back seat to endless promos and gimmick matches and whenever we would get an X division match it would likey be two minutes long and end in a DQ. Lately however the X division has returned to being more of a focal point of the company like it was in the glory days of Impact. The Monster's Ball between Moose and Sami Callihan was really bloody and violent as you would expect and I liked that they brought back the stipulation that the competitors are locked in a room 24 hours before the show and deprived of food, water, and light (the light and water part wouldn't bother me so much but 24 hours without food? I don't know if could go 24 minutes without food. I'd probably tap out the second the bell rang and crawl to the nearest pizza shop). I really enjoyed the 10 man tag which pitted the Impact Originals against Honor No More. Seeing the return of the Motor City Machine Guns, Frankie Kazarian and Nick Aldis to the company to do battle one last time was really cool. However the reveal of the mystery partner being Davey Richards really took the wind out of everyone’s collective sails. The idea that he's an Impact "original" is ridiculous as he made his name in ROH years before arriving in Impact. The main event between Josh Alexander and Eric Young was really good too. Alexander is awesome, kind of like a modern day Kurt Angle and I hope Impact continue to push him well. I can remember watching the show where Eric Young made his TNA debut back in 2003 so seeing him here in the main event 19 years later feels so surreal. Finally the cameos from past TNA stars wishing TNA a happy anniversary were awesome too. Sting, Kurt Angle and most notably AJ Styles, the man many would still consider to be Mr. TNA and the wrestler still most commonly associated with the company, all gave messages of thanks and support to the company. Back when I first got into wrestling it was unheard of that a wrestler from one company could ever make an appearance on another show but now we're at the stage where a WWE contracted wrestler (AJ) and an AEW contracted wrestler (Sting) both were allowed to appear on an Impact Wrestling show. My how times have changed. What a great show. Happy Anniversary Impact Wrestling!

Friday Faves
Hi friends! Happy Friday! What’s going on this weekend? We’re celebrating Kyle and Everly’s birthday with the fam, going to the opera (!), and having everyone over for Superbowl Sunday. I also have a huge book deadline Monday morning so in between the activities, I’ll have my computer out, and blue light-blocking glasses on, nerding it up. I’d love to hear what you have going on!
Two exciting things happened this week:
– Regular fitness classes back on the schedule. I’m going to be teaching a bootcamp class and a spin class each week, and it feels so good to be back into teaching. I’ve been subbing since we moved back to Tucson, mostly because the Pilot has been gone 80-90% of the time and childcare can be tricky, but now that his schedule is more predictable, I could start teaching regularly again. I taught bootcamp this week – we did a mix of TRX, battle ropes, BOSU, and Tabata rounds- and it was so.much.fun. I felt a little piece of my soul come back to life!
– Speaking of my soul coming back to life, something else happened: I got a spot singing with a local choir. I chatted about it in this post, but the nutshell version is that I auditioned over the fall and was choir roadkill. Since then, I’ve been working with a vocal coach and practicing like crazy, and got the chance to audition again last night.
I figured I was going to celebrate either way. Even if I didn’t get a spot, I was going to celebrate the fact that I really gave it my best shot after months of lessons and consistent practice. I’d throw my aria in the trash can and have a glass of wine. BUT, I got a spot! I was really happy to be able to tell Liv and P that I didn’t quit and the hard work paid off.
I’m SO pumped and we have three big concerts each year. (I’ll share the word when get closer if any Tucson friends want to come out!) YAY.
It’s time for the weekly Friday Faves party. This is where I share some of my favorite finds from the week and around the web. I always love to hear about your faves, too, so please shout out something you’re loving in the comments section below.
Fashion + beauty:
– Scoping out spring and summery clothes. I’m sooooo over bundling and the revolving door of colds in our house. Bring on the sunshine! I ordered this cute leopard bikini top for our cruise and this coverup. Also loving this dress, this bodysuit, and these cute strappy sandals.
– Amazing to see that Beautycounter is diving into the mica industry – mica is in EVERYTHING. It’s what makes makeup shimmer and is very safe – to make sure it’s sourced responsibly.
Read, watch, listen:
– Watch Jerry give “mat talk” to these lucky folks arriving to work.
– Dinner etiquette.
– Why exercise is good for your brain.
– This BLEW MY MIND. People don’t have an inner monologue? Can we talk about this? My entire day is constant thoughts in my own voice in my head. I can’t imagine it being peaceful in my brain lol. If this is you, please tell me what this is like!
Good eats + misc. finds:
– Equilibria! I’ve mentioned it a few times before, but this has helped dramatically with my anxiety. Before my choir audition, I was sitting in my car, shaking from nervousness. I put 5 drops of Equilibria CBD under my tongue and within two minutes, I felt remarkably better. While I was absolutely still nervous, it took the shaking “what the heck am I doing?” feeling away. I could actually breathe and focus. It’s a game changer for me. (If you want to give it a whirl, my link gets you 15% off. They’re also going a special promo through tonight at midnight. Use the code fitnessistadaily20 to get 20% off the first three months of any new subscription.)
– The Art of Plating event. We got to watch Kyle do his thang and compete against local chefs in a plating competition. Kyle is truly an artist and always amazes me with his creations.
This is a wagyu beef sandwich with beef fat mayo.
The crazy thing is that his meals taste even better than they look. I’m totally biased, but his recipe was absolutely my favorite compared to the other dishes. There were a lot of beautiful creations and I had a great time wandering around with Meg and madre, tasting all of the different entries.
(Dress is here and shoes are here)
For now, P and I are off to the library and I’m going to catch a Peloton class this afternoon.
Have a happy Friday and I’ll see ya soon!
xo

Update
Hello all of you lovely people! I just wanted to give a bit of an update. If you've followed along, I mentioned I would post 3 of the BTS Summer series this month. One has been posted. This week I'm supposed to be working on For the Aesthetic and posting it soon, followed by Glow. However, due to general burnout at my regular job and potentially taking on a second job on evenings/weekends as a painting instructor to save money for my Korea trip in the Spring, I'm really struggling to fit time to write quality content. Not to mention I also am a freelance artists with two back to back shows this month.
I've made myself sit down twice this week to write but it's been garbage and I didn't like the way it was flowing. I rely heavily on mood and inspiration to write. However, I do have a game play and general plot for the scenes of each still.
With that being said, I'm going to just shuffle back either a few days or a week or so to finish up the last show for convention season (next Saturday, 24 AUG), potentially trade in my brand new car for another brand new car (I know I'm nuts), and figure out the new work schedules and how to manage them between each other.
Although today is Sunday, I'm going to tap out and take a mental health day instead of writing, so I don't jump head first into Monday hating everything. I plan on binge watching my favorite shows, probably reading a lot of BTS smut (research), eating chocolate and not feeling guilty.
Hopefully this will help me set up having a better mood through all of the crazy this coming week and perhaps next weekend I can get back to it feeling fresh and inspired and thirsty as hell for Seokjinnie oppa.
I love you all and I am SO thankful for each and every one of you for your kind messages, support and love!
Fun fact at a convention I vended for yesterday I was the only kpop artist there and hearing whispers or lowkey screeches of 'BTS!' surrounding my booth was the best thing ever and talking with all of the fellow ARMY and hearing their stories about BTS made my heart so full I busted several massive uwu. I love you all!
Take care of yourselves, too! See you soon!
Oh and PS I still plan on dropping the For the Aesthetic promo and the accompanying aesthetic board soon, maybe today. c:

Have a happy Friday and I’ll see ya soon!
xo

New Japan Road Night 3 - 2/26/2020; NJPW Cancels All Shows From 3/1 - 3/15/2020 Amid COVID-2019 Concerns; Lance Archer Signs to AEW
Tumblr media
The annual New Japan Road tour stop in Okinawa took place today, complete with a Ryukyu Dragon Pro Wrestling exhibition match, and complete with the show not making tape despite some matches I think many would like to see.
- 2/26/2020, Okinawa Prefectural Budokan
Ryukyu Dragon Pro Wrestling Exhibition Match: Gurukun Mask & Ultra Soki d. Gosamaru & Hejor Kidman (Soki > Kidman,  NIshime Otoshi, 10:07)
Yuji Nagata & Tiger Mask IV d. Yota Tsuji & Yuya Uemura (Nagata > Tsuji,  Nagata Lock II, 11:01)
SHO & YOH [CHAOS] d. Taiji Ishimori & Gedo [Bullet Club] (YOH > Gedo, 3K, 9:41)
Togi Makabe & Tomoaki Honma d. Yujiro Takahashi & Jado [Bullet Club] (Makabe > Jado, King Kong Knee Drop, 9:56)
Tomohiro Ishii & Hirooki Goto [CHAOS] d. Juice Robinson & Gabriel Kidd (Ishii > Kidd, lariat, 10:11)
Toru Yano & YOSHI-HASHI [CHAOS] d. Hiroyoshi Tenzan & Satoshi Kojima (Yano > Tenzan, Schoolboy, 11:18)
EVIL, SANADA, Shingo Takagi & Hiromu Takahashi [Los Ingobernables] d. Hiroshi Tanahashi, Kota Ibushi, Toa Henare & Ryusuke Taguchi (EVIL > Taguchi, EVIL STO, 16:11)
Kazuchika Okada & Will Ospreay [CHAOS] d. Tetsuya Naito & BUSHI [Los Ingobernables] (Ospreay > BUSHI, Stormbreaker, 11:48)
Ospreay promised in a post-match promo he would return to Okinawa. One day Ryukyu Dragon will make tape.
You may recall last night I posted the lineups for the Anniversary tour, and the New Japan Cup 2020. Mere hours after this show ended, NJPW released a statement reversing their previous position on cancelling shows in the wake of coronavirus COVID-2019, and have cancelled all shows from 3/1 - 3/15/2020, including all the Anniversary shows, and the vast majority of the New Japan Cup. The statement below:
In light of recommendations made on February 26 by the Japanese Ministry of Health connected to the new Coronavirus COVID-19, New Japan Pro-Wrestling has arrived at the decision to cancel all live events scheduled between Sunday March 1 and Sunday March 15.
Further announcements will be made at a later date. All ticket holders will be refunded. Please check njpw1972.com and social media in the coming days for details on the refund procedure.
NJPW has reached this difficult decision after careful consideration. Ultimately, the health and safety of our fans, staff and wrestlers is our highest concern. We remain deeply appreciative of your support of New Japan Pro-Wrestling.
The following events are affected by today’s decision:
Anniversary Tour
Sunday March 1: Mito Municipal Gymnasium, Ibaraki
Monday March 2: Big Palette Fukushima
Anniversary Event
Tuesday March 3: Ota City Gymnasium, Tokyo
New Japan Cup
Wednesday March 4: Korakuen Hall, Tokyo
Saturday March 7: Aichi Prefectural Gymnasium
Sunday March 8: Baycom Gymnasium, Hyogo
Monday March 9: Kochi Prefectural Gymnasium
Tuesday March 10: ZIP Arena Okayama
Thursday March 12: Korakuen Hall, Tokyo
Friday March 13: Korakuen Hall, Tokyo
Saturday March 14: Makuhari Messe, Chiba
Last week NJPW announced they would not be cancelling any shows, in contrast to Bushiroad’s other promotion, STARDOM, who had canceled a number of their own events. Clearly, the crisis of the coronavirus in Japan, and elsewhere, has forced this change. There is also talk of the March sumo basho in Osaka being either held behind closed doors, or cancelled outright. There is even talk of the Tokyo Olympics being cancelled at this point.
There are five shows left in the New Japan Cup tour, from 3/16 - 3/21/2020. It is *possible,* if not necessarily desirable, that they could squeeze the Cup into those 5 shows so the NJPW calendar doesn’t get completely borked by these events, and perhaps even get Naito v. Hiromu from the 3/3 Anniversary show into the Final show on 3/21/2020. But as of right now, all of these are longshots, and who knows if these five shows will be happening.
We’ll see what happens next. The biggest concern is health and safety of fans, wrestlers and personnel. There are a lot of matches that I wanted to see here, but matches can be rescheduled and run later. I’ll keep everyone posted as I can.
Tumblr media
Lastly, All Elite Wrestling made it official today, Suzuki-gun’s Lance Archer is done in NJPW and has signed to AEW. It’s a shame, especially since Archer had a phenomenal 2019 in NJPW, including a decent G1 Climax 29 campaign, and a marquee match at Wrestle Kingdom 14. There have been no indications as to when Archer will make his debut, could be later tonight on Dynamite, could be the Revolution PPV this weekend, could be after. Best of luck to him on a bigger, domestic stage, but he is forever Suzuki-gun.

Your Complete Eagles and Cowboys Betting Preview
The NFC playoff picture is a hot mess, but for the Eagles, things are pretty simple. Beat the Cowboys, move into first-place atop the NFC East, and live to fight for a division championship down the stretch. Lose and it’s over. Yeah, the Eagles wouldn’t be mathematically eliminated with a second loss to Dallas in five weeks, but they would need to run the table against a brutal schedule, while the Cowboys would need to lose all three of their remaining games. It’s hard to imagine either of those scenarios playing out, and the numbers back it up.
According to the New York Times Playoff Simulator, the Eagles’ odds of winning the division increase from approximately 19% to 44% with a win. Those odds drop to 1% with a loss– so it’s essentially a must-win spot for Philly as it reprises the familiar underdog role that fueled its Super Bowl run a season ago. Can they get in done in Dallas? Let’s take a look.
The action
The Eagles opened almost across the board as a 4-point underdog, but some sharp action kicked them to 3.5 earlier this week. The public likes the favorite, with 62% of the point-spread tickets backing the Cowboys. The money, however, backs the Birds, with 52% of the money on the underdog. That suggests the big money bettors like the Eagles right now.

Trends to know
The Eagles’ 4-8 record ATS gives them the NFL’s fifth-worst cover rate this season at 33.3%, while the Cowboys’ 7-5 ATS mark is tied for the league’s sixth-best at 58.3%. The Eagles, 2-3 ATS away from Lincoln Financial Field, are underdogs for only the second time this season. The first time didn’t go so well, as they were utterly destroyed by the Saints, but the Eagles are both 6-2 ATS and 6-2 SU the last eight times they were underdogs. The Cowboys, meanwhile, are 4-2 ATS at home, but are only 2-3 as a favorite this season, a role they’ve struggled in under Jason Garrett. Here’s something to chew on: Dallas is a woeful 16-30 ATS as a home favorite under Garrett, although they are an improved 8-8 ATS in this role since the start of the 2016 season.
When evaluating games, I examine dozens of angles to see if the trends, both team-centric and league-wide, favor one side. This is one of the few games where the most convincing trends seem to be evenly distributed. For example, there’s plenty of good stuff to rely on for those backing the Eagles. When the Eagles are hot on offense, it tends to carry over. Philadelphia is 9-4 ATS in their last 13 games after accumulating more than 350 yards in their previous game. While they left some scoring opportunities on the field last week against Washington, they also moved the ball at will, and that bodes well for them this week. Moreover, there are some contextual factors specific to this matchup that favor Philadelphia. The road team has won 9 of the last 11 games and covered 11 of the last 14 between these two teams. What’s more, Eagles are 5-2 ATS in their last seven trips to Dallas.
An angle I was particularly interested in was based on the idea that the Cowboys’ defense is getting a bit too much respect ahead of this game. It has been a solid unit all season, but its otherworldly performance last week against the Saints has everybody swooning over it. Recently, Dallas has struggled covering the number after allowing 15 points or less in its previous game, going 0-3-1 ATS. I also wondered how the Cowboys have performed this season as a public favorite when the sharp money doesn’t follow. When the difference of point-spread bets placed and point-spread money on the Cowboys differs up to 16%, Dallas is 1-3 ATS this season. Basically, I wanted to know how this Cowboys team has performed as a square favorite, and the answer is, well, not good.
That’s the good news for the Eagles. Now for the bad.
Philadelphia is only 2-7 ATS in its last nine games when playing on Sunday after a Monday Night game. The Cowboys, who have covered four-straight, are 6-1 ATS in their last seven contests against the NFC East, while Jason Garrett is 7-2 ATS when favored at home after winning the previous game as an underdog.

The Eagles are 1-6 ATS this season (the win came against Washington) when facing a defense that was allowing a completion percentage of 64% or greater coming into the game. One theory that explains these baffling situational struggles is that Pederson has a propensity to call a one-dimensional, pass-happy offense against teams with weaker defenses, as if he simply can’t help himself. You saw a little bit of that in the first matchup between these two teams when the Eagles threw the ball 44 times, compared to only 16 runs.
The Eagles, however, have been more balanced, committing to the run game during their two-game win streak, and the offensive line has seemingly gained some momentum because of it, so we’ll see how Pederson plays it on Sunday.
Home under, road Over
Currently, the total is set at 44 at most sportsbooks for this contest. It’s been a pretty simple formula for betting totals with the Eagles. When they’re at home, back the under, and when they’re on the road, roll with the over.
The under has hit in 18 of 25 Eagles games, including the postseason, at Lincoln Financial Field under Pederson, and it is on a 10-2 run dating back to late last November. This season, the under has hit in six of seven games at The Linc. Meanwhile, the over has hit in 15 of 21 games on the road under Pederson, including 5 of the 7 contests against NFC East opponents. One more thing: 20 of the Eagles’ last 26 road games dating back to Chip Kelly’s tenure have gone over the total.
One word of caution: there’s a strong historical league-wide trend backing the under. After Week 10, including the postseason, the under on totals between 44.5 and 60 in a division game has gone 169-104-3. This trend was crucial in my suggestion to play the under a week ago in the Eagles-Redskins game, and if a situation hits at a 62% rate over more than a 15-year sample, that’s pretty damn strong. This game total currently falls 1/2 point shy of the parameters of this trend, but if it surges upward prior to kick off, keep this in mind.
Prediction
Let me just do a little stream of consciousness exercise as I consider this game:
Dak Prescott…Jason Garrett…public team…feeling themselves off a huge win…media slurping…revenge spot for Eagles…with a better quarterback…moved ball to the tune of 421 yards a month ago against this supposedly outstanding Dallas defense…offensive line is playing better…
At the end of the day, who are the Cowboys to get that type of respect? Sorry, I’m out. The Dallas defense is good, but they’re not an elite unit. They played one lights out game and now all of a sudden they’re some impenetrable force? I’m going the other way on it. As I previously mentioned, they have been absolutely woeful as home favorites under Garrett. Four weeks ago—not four months ago—if I told basically anybody that the Cowboys would beat the Eagles twice this season, that statement would have been met with a hearty L.O.L.
I expect a close game between what I still think are two evenly matched teams, and in this spot, I’ll go against the public and take the points. I’ll also lean on the over.

Previous posts:Ace Home Cleaning - Launch-----Hey everyone,It's been two weeks since Ace Home Cleaning launched, and we've got some updates:Things have been feeling intangible/hand wavey in terms of what to do after launch. I find myself asking only one question in my day-to-day: how do I get more customers? There are many ways to do this, and the lack of step-by-step I had while I was still setting things up made me a bit anxious. I decided to stop thinking about what the right way of doing it should be and just start experimenting.Marketing ExperimentsCreated Yelp and Facebook pagesThumbtack - Spent $85 the first week, got a ton of inquiries but no customers. Each lead cost me around $15 and I think many were fake. I figured this wasn't effective and uninstalled the app.Yelp - Created a Yelp page and decided to budget $450 toward Yelp ads, plus $75 to remove competitor ads (they had a $300 credit promo). This has generated a ton of inquiries and 2 bookings.Google Adwords - Budgeted $300 for the month and created one ad with 4 variations. Not sure if it's doing anything though. I see the amount of views and clicks, but haven't gotten any inquiries or bookings.Craigslist - I've been responding to cleaning requests every 2-3 days (there aren't many) and haven't been getting much response. Also posted our cleaning services, but haven't gotten anything either. I imagine it's because there are many other cleaning services listed by individual cleaners that are much cheaper.Business cards - Got some of these these printed so I could talk to local leasing companies and drop them off.-At this point, I've decided to discontinue all paid advertising/lead generating except Yelp. I don't want to burn a hole in my pocket and I don't want ads as a comfort zone keeping me from dealing with SEO. It's not financially sustainable nor a long-term solution.-----SEONote to self: stop procrastinating on this because it's daunting. Read Google's starter guide and start a course on Treehouse.-----Customers - 4 BookingsI've had four bookings so far. Two of whom were my friends, and two generated off Yelp. After my friends got their free cleanings from my star cleaner, I asked them both to write me a Yelp review. After these reviews posted, a ton of inquiries started coming in! Surprising because there were competitors in the area with many more positive reviews. The first customer called on a Sunday for a 4 bed / 3 bath standard clean for the next day. She talked about a bad experience with her previous cleaners, and really wanted someone who was detail-oriented. She also asked me about the process of cleaning and which chemicals we used - which I only knew a tiny bit of! Regardless, she wanted to lock down the booking first and I told her our cleaner will give her a call to talk about her process in more detail. Lesson learned - talk to cleaner about her cleaning process so I don't end up a dear in headlights when customers ask questions. I was also a little nervous because she sounded particularly picky. Monday came and went. I gave her a call on Tuesday asking how it went and she said she'd give it a 90% (cleaner forgot to sweep master bedroom floor but did a great job on everything else). I offered to stop by and fix it, but she said it's fine. First job - success! I also asked my cleaner how it went, and she said she worked closely with the customer to make sure she was happy. The next day, another customer messaged me through Yelp for a 3 bed / 1 bath move-out cleaning. I responded back with a quote but didn't get an answer. I shrugged it off and figured he probably went with someone else. The next morning he called but I couldn't respond due to being in a meeting. When I finally called him back early afternoon, he'd already gone with another service! He mentioned he even started filling out my booking form. I guess he called with booking questions. Lesson learned - always follow up with a call ASAP. I should've called the day of the inquiry instead of waiting till the next day.A few days later, another customer messaged me through Yelp for a 3 bed / 2 bath move-out cleaning. I messaged back a quote and again, no response. The next morning, I decided to give them a call because I didn't want to make the same mistake of losing a potential customer. It turns out they were still interested and they ended up booking for the upcoming weekend! I was very happy and assigned it to my cleaner. The day before the cleaning, my cleaner told me she couldn't do it. My heart sank because I didn't have any back-ups. I called the customer, apologized profusely, and asked to reschedule. Luckily, she was very understanding and we rescheduled for the following Tuesday.-----CleanersAfter the scare with my cleaner backing out last minute, I ramped up the recruiting. I set up meetings with 2 cleaners this week after talking to them over the phone. One sounded okay, and the other sounded promising. I'll have them clean my friends' houses again as a trial. Having 3 reliable cleaners to start would be a dream.-----WebsiteUpdated services and pricing to include things other than a standard clean (deep, move-in / move-out, post-construction).Added Intercom (the chat app) so customers don't hit a wall when they land on the site and have no one to talk to.Lots of anticipated work here following SEO research.-----As always, please share your thoughts and feedback! This was longer than I expected so thanks for sticking around. I'll be back with a 2-month update.

WWE Payback 2017: Full rundown and why you should care
Payback is here with WrestleMania rematches, a new women’s title challenger, and Braun Strowman trying to topple Roman Reigns once and for all.
WWE’s Payback is here, and it’s aptly named. It’s the first pay-per-view post-WrestleMania 33, which means we have a number of WrestleMania rematches on the card, plus Roman Reigns attempting to get payback — hey, that’s the name of the event — against Braun Strowman for the latter’s vicious attack(s) on him that included violence against an ambulance.
Payback will air Sunday on the WWE Network at 8 p.m. ET, with a pre-show beginning an hour before that. Let’s dive in and see who is going to get payback at Payback.
WWE Cruiserweight Championship Match: Neville (c) vs. Austin Aries
What am I looking at here? Neville is the impossibly muscled yet short dude with the long hair and the title. Austin Aries is the one wearing a jacket that will make you think he’s a bad guy, but in this instance against the self-proclaimed King of the Cruiserweights, Aries is actually the face. Also, he might be carrying a banana. Potassium is important, you know.
Why you should care: These two had themselves a high-quality Mania match, but it was on the pre-show. Neville defended via a thumb to the eye, which blinded Aries long enough for Neville to pick up the W. Whether Aries can avoid such unsportsmanlike attacks to become just the fourth Cruiserweight Champions is the question of the evening. My money is on no, because Neville calls himself king, but he’s more like the cruiserweights’ god.
RAW Women’s Championship Match: Bayley (c) vs. Alexa Bliss
What am I looking at here? Alexa Bliss was SmackDown Women’s Champion at WrestleMania 33, but lost the title to Naomi there. She was then sent to RAW during the Superstar Shakeup, which saw a number of Monday’s stars heading to Tuesday and vice versa. Once on RAW, Bliss won a number one contender’s match, then got in Bayley’s face the next week while also dissing Bayley’s bestie, Sasha Banks, in the same promo. Bayley is the champion of our hearts, sure, but Bliss is delightfully evil and also probably right about most of what she says.
Heels aren’t always bad because they’re wrong, you know. Sometimes it’s just because they’ve got a little too much Walter Sobchak in them.
Why you should care: Bayley vs. Bliss is some a mostly untapped resource for WWE, as Bliss was just coming into her own at NXT around the time Bayley left, and then they were on opposing shows. SmackDown’s women’s division ended up being built around Bliss even though it didn’t start out that way, and we could see the newcomer get a similar run on RAW.
That, or this is the night when Sasha Banks finally turns on Bayley in order to get her own chance at the RAW Women’s Championship, which just means that, regardless of what happens, Bayley probably isn’t going to have a very good night.
RAW Tag Team Championship Match: The Hardyz (c) vs. Sheamus and Cesaro
What am I looking at here? The Hardy Boyz are back, even though they are now more like Hardy Men. Hardy Menz? Hardees? However you refer to them, what’s important is that they aren’t broken... yet. Matt Hardy keeps teasing that he’s moving closer and closer to breaking, and we just might get to see it on WWE television soon.
If you have no idea what I’m talking about, well, it’s tough to explain. But let’s just say Matt Hardy had a bit of a character transformation while he was outside WWE, and you should just watch this to see what that means:
youtube
Sheamus and Cesaro are former RAW Tag champions, and they are now best friends due to a shared love of beating other people up. Sometimes, it’s just that simple. They’re really, really good at beating other people up, so maybe we’ll see the Hardys broken by a championship loss.
Why you should care: It’s two great tag teams facing off for a championship, with the potential of the superior version of Matt and Jeff emerging from defeat like a phoenix with a weird manner of speaking and a penchant for saying, “Delightful!”
United States Championship Match: Kevin Owens (c) vs. Chris Jericho
What am I looking at here? Kevin Owens is on SmackDown Live now, and he brought the United States Championship with him. He took that belt from Jericho at WrestleMania 33, though, the title was secondary to their feud, which was based on former best friends fighting each other thanks to Owens’ very public betrayal.
Why you should care: As SmackDown already has a number one contender for the US title, a Jericho victory could mean he ends up on Tuesdays, too, but it sure feels like Owens is unlikely to drop this championship so soon. Their Mania match was real good, and a rematch should be a quality bout as well, but it’s admittedly a little tough to care too much about this since it seems clear that Owens is going to retain and move on to bigger and better things on SmackDown while Jericho is left behind on RAW.
Seth Rollins vs. Samoa Joe
What am I looking at here? Samoa Joe showed up on RAW working for Triple H, and his first order of business was attacking Seth Rollins. Joe injured Seth’s knee to the point that Rollins wasn’t a given for a WrestleMania 33 match, but he was able to return to action and defeat Triple H there. Now, with Triple H defeated and shamed off television for the last few weeks, and Stephanie McMahon injured in the match when she tried to interfere, Joe is here to fight for his bosses and put the hurting on Seth that they could not.
Why you should care: Seth Rollins is the man, and that’s not just a nickname. Samoa Joe is the f’n truth, though, and when he says he’s going to take Seth Rollins out, you better believe he’s going to do damnedest to make sure that’s what happens. After wrestling Sami Zayn and not getting a chance to appear in a WrestleMania 33 match, this should be Joe’s official welcome to the main event scene of WWE.
House of Horrors match: Randy Orton vs. Bray Wyatt
What am I looking at here? No one knows. No, seriously. Bray Wyatt invited Orton to a rematch after their stinker at WrestleMania 33, saying it was going to be a House of Horrors match. There has never been one of those. Orton accepted, and we know no more today than we did when that happened. With luck, at least part of the match will be pre-taped so that WWE can use special effects and the like to actually give the House of Horrors elements the name suggests.
Why you should care: I won’t lie to you — I’m not sure if you should. This was originally supposed to be for the WWE World Championship that Orton won from Wyatt at Mania in a match that was, to charitably describe it, not good. Despite a tremendous build to that showdown, it didn’t even pass the most basic entertainment tests, and now they’re headed into the unknown without any excitement built into it — and now it’s not for the title, either.
Maybe it’ll be great! A weird stipulation might be just what these two needed to click in the ring and deliver a memorable performance. At this point, though, you would be forgiven for needing to see it to believe it.
Braun Strowman vs. Roman Reigns
What am I looking at here? Oh, just the greatest feud WWE has going right now. Roman Reigns’ whole thing is that he’s a one-man army, and that he’s unstoppable. So, Braun Strowman decided to test that theory by attacking Reigns backstage during an interview. It was one of the greatest moments in RAW history starting at 1:05, and this is not hyperbole:

Don’t have time to watch the whole video? While I believe that’s a mistake, just know that the segment ended with this. Oh, and Roman was inside it at the time:

Reigns has been off television for three weeks because of the beating, and that’s not usually how he rolls. Roman tends to recover all of his HP in between shows, and he didn’t even appear to attack Strowman on the RAW before Payback. No one knows what kind of condition he’s in, but Strowman’s attack might have weakened Roman enough that he can finally beat him one-on-one.
Why you should care: uh did you not see the large man flip over an ambulance with his opponent still inside of it
