I understand how that movie got an average rating, but not only did this movie have Christmas stuff in it, but usually the main focus of the movie was about Hanukkah, and I know the three of us are not Jewish, it was a movie Adam Sandler wanted to do since he is Jewish. Especially for a Sony movie, and my cousin has watched some of his movies and even my friend from Social Club watches some of his movies. Some people like the movie because it is funny, and some people don't like the movie because it's either gross or a lot of people hate the main character, Davey Stone, Because he's acting like a troublemaking criminal, but he does kinda redeem himself at the end of how everyone was being so mean to this nice old man. And also, there's a Sonic YouTuber named Connor known as Emerald Masters, he gets that plot a lot about the movie, and every time he uses the word "Technical Foul", he got it from the character, Whitey Duvall, and I usually be like "Okay, Whitey!" And normally Whitey is the name of the old guy, But he can be obnoxious sometimes. Some people say Eight Crazy Nights was bad, but not as bad as the other movies like Jack and Jill which is done by Adam Sandler. But with my story, "Four Crazy Advents", We focus on Christmas since that's what the three of us celebrate. And Shadow and Spot normally don't act like Davey Stone where he acts like a Jerk and gets away with something. But usually Shadow and Spot normally don't act like that because they learn to try their best to learn to do the right thing and avoid getting themselves into trouble. Because I know Maxwell would like Shadow and Spot would never do that because Maxwell, May and Sam are always there for them. Same for Lisa, Riya and Vanilla.

I like how guys like what I got for Christmas. Normally for my Filipino Friend not to get too jealous, since he now uses the same site my family and I use when buying stuff on the Internet. We use Amazon since that's the site where I buy some of my stuff at or if I were to buy or preorder video games from. But my mom usually buys stuff from Amazon a lot. And she thinks we should check Amazon on some of their stuff how much they cost. And even one day you guys get Laptops or desktops like I do, I'm sure we can all work on our content together like we can all write stories, Because not only I draw, but I can also write stories too. So it can be like saying I wrote the story, while you guys can illustrate. And plus if we got gaming ones, we can all play online just the three of us, like Microsoft PC games or Steam games on PC. Those are the differences when playing a video game on the computer. But the only Microsoft Xbox title I would play on my computer would probably be Minecraft and Forza Motorsports. So I'm sure either my sister's boyfriend or my sister can help me set it up once I'm feeling better and getting over my cold. Because I got to do something fun with them before they go back to Colorado. But I hope you both will look into getting gaming computers and work computers in the future. Then we can all play online together during our free time. 👍

so i dont have much to yap about at this moment but i just got back from school SOOOO ill yap about that!!

starting off strong i woke up an hour + 15 mins late and had 20 minutes to get ready and eat... i was almost late this morning BUT i have fitness first thing in the morning on my a-days (we work on an a/b schedule!!) and my teacher always comes late to that!! so i had time to dress down and i BOOKED IT to the weight room + made it!! in that class we basically just do weightlifting + my usual partner wasnt there bc she had a golf tournament... so i was with some of my other friends for lifting!! was kinda thriving bc my other partner usually does heavier weights + they did lighter ones SO I WAS REALLY REALLY FAST W MY SETS i was very proud!!

then i went into second period (i have bio) and we were doing a lab where we examined some cells in onions, tomatoes, + the inside of our cheeks (ew) but basically we had to group up and im not rly fond of one of the girls that r in my group cause she doesn't talk much she just squeezes in to look through the microscope so it annoys me 😞 ANYWAY THE LAB WAS LIGHT WORK GOT IT DONE IN 30 MINS and then i had like an hour of free time after that so i asked for a hall pass and i roamed the halls for a bit 😸 after that i have to go to advisory + i was just helping people w math hw and doing some of the nyt games to kill my boredom (oh and drivers ed stuff!!)

at lunch i was just sitting with some of my friends and playing imessage games with them 😭 then we went into the gym and played volleyball for a bit!!

after lunch i had geo and i was taking notes like a madman i fear... dk if ive said this before but like ohhh man everyone makes a point of telling me how small my hand writing is its so annoying 😭 i heard that three times during class today and i was literally done LIKE STOP LEAVE ME ALONE PLEASE ‼️

are you named after anyone? I’m not named after anyone, but I’m named after this song (Have a Little Faith in Me by John Hiatt). It’s my parents wedding/couple song and since I’m their first kid together (I have an older sister but we don’t have the same dad) they wanted to name me after their get-together song, so my middle name is Faith… I honestly think this is one of the coolest facts about me because I love music and to also be named after a song is a flex imo

when was the last time you cried? A few months ago I cried after I failed to find parking downtown while on my way to a field trip for one of my graphic design classes. It sounds pathetic and insignificant but for a suburban girl with little familiarity driving in the big city and multiple anxiety disorders, it was exceptionally difficult to keep my brain from imploding on itself. I parked in a spot close to the building’s entrance only to find it was reserved for long-term parking and there was absolutely no more parking spaces available, even along the street. So after 45 minutes of searching (and 30 minutes after I was supposed to have arrived) I decided to call it quits and went home… I got myself some bubble tea on the way to help cheer myself up but I still cried in my bathroom with my cat. I really wanted to go to this field trip but I couldn’t because of how inaccessible it was. I really hate driving in the city 👎

do you have kids? Nope, just my cats. I don’t want any human kiddos either. I’ve got many reasons why, but basically my older sister has 3 grade-school age kiddos and as much as I love them they’re a lot of work and I’ve learned over the years that I kinda don’t want to dedicate my life to a helpless person. I want my life to be about me.

do you use sarcasm a lot? I use it mostly with my friends and family members lol. Not all strangers understand how hilarious I am

what sports do you play/have you played? I used to be in dance and basketball when I was a kid, but after I chipped my front tooth in basketball practice my mom wouldn’t let me go back so not anymore. Nowadays I walk but Idk if that’s considered a sport lol. I enjoy playing badminton though; it’s so so fun (just wish we had a court around here; it’s not very popular where I live).

favorite movies / shows ? (:

sorry for the late response, but i took this too seriously and started going through notes and diaries to find lists

Movies:

Idioot (2011) by Rainer Sarnet. It's an adaptation of dostoyevsky's "the idiot" and it's one of the few movies i can actually call underground, because i've yet to met anyone besides my mom whose actually seen it. I don't like it because of that though, i like it because all of it is shot in a church (even the outdoor scenes) and the ending has gay undertones. it's arthouse, what else do you expect?

Amelie (2001) is one of the few romance movies i like because it's super sweet and has very interesting visuals. and also i saw it before i knew i was aroace so i didn't care about whether or not i like romance.

Knives out (2019) has super cool visuals and also very cool foreshadowing. definitely a movie i watched an explanation of later. not THAT deep though, like you get the message before even finishing it.

Tank Girl (1995) is a fucking comedy and apocalypse masterpiece and no one will convince me otherwise. I do not care about if it's accurate to the comics at all. it's just pure, unfiltered, 90s action. with implied lesbians.

In tandem with the last movie comes Bad Girls (1994), even though this one is a bit less goofy (it does not have kangaroo-man hybrids)

Kill your darlings (2013). i don't even care about the gayness, they went ham with the poetry references. like they explain a technique in poetry and then do that same thing in the movie? fucking beautiful. the soundtrack is also so unique. i could go on about this movie forever.

Birds of Prey, or the fantabulous emancipation of Harley Quinn (2020) is like all of those other superhero action movies, but this time it's For Girls (tm) and i LOVE it because of that. idec about action movies in general, that one just Gets It. Margot Robbie OWNS Harley Quinn for me

speaking of feminist action movies, Mad Max Fury Road (2015) is amazing. it has one of the most unique colour palettes i've seen, because of how much contrast there is. Surprisingly condensed, the action is not spread out at all, gets straight to the point. Also it has like no romance at all.

Shows:

Hannibal (2013-2015) is my number 1, no competition. It's a rom com, it's a thriller, it's horror, it's whatever you want it to be. not gonna say too much, becuase i want you to experience its glory first hand.

pushing daisies (2007-2009) is whimsical, light hearted, fairy-tale like, fluffy, etc. basically the opposite of hannibal, even though both of them are made by Brian Fuller. fun fact: it has the only straight romance i actively root for. they're also asexual because i said so.

I am not okay with this (2020) is another one of those movies you only see in those lists of shows that netflix ended too soon, because it did. it's like netflix said "wait it has LESBIANS? we can't have THAT" which is a shame, because it's a masterfully crafted allegory for grief and depression. and as if THAT wasn't enough, it parodies while ´imitating an 80s high school movie, which gives it this cool aesthetic of the modern day mixed with the 80s.

Over the garden wall (2016). Wirt is a very accurately written teen who i want to be friends with SO BAD, and Greg is somehow even more accurately written because my sister is roughly the same age as him and they are basically the same people. It goes pretty hard with the historical influences, the soundtrack fits it so well and the story is very sweet. i recommend it 👍

most of them don't have much of an out-of-universe reason and a few don’t have in-universe reasons either but here goes:

Wade, Neri, Sereia, Aukai (OOC): when i was first making my ocs i just scrolled down a list of names that meant water and went until i found one that just sounded right. when i was looking for a new name for Neri (their original name was Kairi), i just followed the same principle

Wade (IC): not really much of a reason, but her moms definitely have a water-related-nouns thing going on. their sister's name is Bay lol

Atlas (OOC): It Just Came To Me when i was rebooting my lore... actually the one that just came to me was Atla, but i looked up the meaning for it and the meaning was something along the lines of "mother" and i was like ewwww. so instead i went with Atlas 👍

Atlas (IC): Eight chose the name Atlas for herself shortly after reaching the surface. while practicing her inklish she came across the word, and it stuck with her. she chose it because she had traveled far and wanted to explore more of the world, so she thought its meaning relating to maps was fitting :)

V (OOC): okay so, V was developed from this "character" i had called "the Voice" who was at the time the extremely underdeveloped concept of what if agent 3 still had tartar's voice in his head haha, wouldn't that be fun. when i actually decided to turn it into its own character i had a lot of basic lore to set up, and one day i was writing down my ideas in my sketchbook. i remember thinking "ugh, it's gonna be so annoying to have to write 'the voice' out every time, i should just shorten it to the first letter for convenience." and then i wrote "v" in one sentence and physically stopped writing and stared at it for a moment. and i was like damn. that kind of bangs actually i should make that its actual name

V (IC): pretty similar to the OOC reason. wade calls it "the voice" before realizing it's an actual person, and when they finally properly meet wade asks if it has an actual name and it says no. so he offers to call it V to keep it simple. yeah

Echo (OOC): Echo as a second name for V also kind of Just Came To Me when rebooting my lore but this time i have actual reasons for it that i didn't come up with afterwards. it's an echo of tartar, it's an echo of humanity, it's a voice echoing in wade's head, it feels like it's only an echo of the people around it. also bonus that i only realized later, it unintentionally fits into a naming pattern that i can't talk about because it's got spoilers for my side order. [pats v on the head] this thing can fit so much symbolism in it

Echo (IC): Wade and Echo come up with its second name together, a while after they really become friends. it feels a little bit like the name V still ties it to that identity of "the voice," which it thinks of as just tartar's vessel... but it also does really like the name V, and Wade gave it that name when he didn't even know it at all, and that's really important to it (not that it'd ever admit that out loud). so they come up with a second name as a compromise. it still goes by both about equally, but it just likes having a second name :)

Kenji "Ji" (OOC): honestly i do not remember my original reason for naming him Kenji at all, but i didn't like that i had a japanese character with a name i didn't really know what it meant, so a few months ago i actually found a meaning of the name 剣次 (kenji) that i really thought fit him. 剣 (ken) can mean sword/blade and 次 (ji) can mean next/following. i thought it was fitting because she's the second agent 3 -- following wade -- and she mains splatana heh. also i don't have a reason for having him go by Ji i just liked it tbh

Lex (OOC): It Just Came To Me tbh. lex has honestly had like 2-3 different names since i made her, i couldn't find one that felt quite right for a while. they were Rowan for a few months, then i decided that didn't fit, then i think they had another name for a couple weeks that i can't remember, and then i finally decided on Lex. their full name is Alexis and Lexi is also acceptable, btw, for anyone who's wondering

oo ngl i actually did consider going into accounting as a backup plan. my aunt is an accountant she said it’s a stable income job for her but a little predictable and more of an introvert job so she’s not sure if it’s really fit for me, which is why it’s only a backup in case international business doesn’t work out 👍 i actually wanted to be an art dealer at some point in my life, so i have been contemplating minoring in art history once i transfer to a four year. and i’m definitely interested in taking korean first for my next quarter, and chinese my second year at cc!

but other than school, i’m actually going to meet one of my penpals next month???? we bought concert tickets together so that day is definitely going to be one for the books :’)

accounting is definitely a good back up plan and I can account (hah) that it’s a stable income job. I think it also may depend on which company you work at because personally, I’m in meetings all day and have to interact with people a lot and be social, especially with all the company events and happy hours I’m invited to! However, international business sounds way more exciting and fun !!!! 🤩 and omg art history yes pls do consider taking more classes in that !!!! I had to take some for my art minor, and I loved it :’) also, I hope you have lots of fun learning new languages, lovebug ✨✨
