Parties were better with Steve. If you both had a ride home, he'd get himself into the G&T's until he was loopy and draping himself all over you. Absolute mumbler he was while drunk. Tonight, however, you're the lovesick one.

Steve's talking when you approach, his back to you, and you take no mind to distract him from his conversation. Silently, well as much you can while tipsy, you sneak your arms around his middle and slump.

You hear a rumble of surprise through where your head presses into his back, a pause in the conversation, then he places his warm hands over both of yours. You delight with a grin. Then, keeping his hands in place to keep you where you are, he's twisting to look over his shoulder. You dig your chin in to meet his eyes with a doozy smile.

"Hello trouble," He says, all too fond. God, he looks so sweet, amber eyes all sweet and smile all too mischievous. Thank God he's yours.

"Hi." You say back, a grin curling at your lips. You think about tucking your hands under his shirt, just to hold him closer. You're sure he'll get the mental messages you're sending him much better if there's skin-to-skin contact —though, you needn't worry, Steve can tell you love him just from the look on your face.

"All good back there?" He asks, mainly as a joke but you nod very seriously and then tilt your head towards his conversation partner. Some dude who had graduated the year after him, friends with Robin he thinks. It's small talk.

"Yup." You smile wide, a bit dopey, and press a kiss into his back. "Y'keep talking Stevie."

He can tell you mean it so he does, turning back around and adjusting his grip over both of your hands to hold them both tighter. You hum happily. The conversation resumes. It takes all but a minute for your attention to crawl away.

You shift your hands slightly, wriggling out of Steve's grip and you miss how he frowns down bemusedly at your wandering hands. He silently hopes you aren't heading for his pants, mainly because there's a spectator to your strange but endearing behaviour. You don't, instead just tucking them under his button up and pressing your icy fingers against his tummy.

Steve snorts a quiet laugh and tries not to shiver, but apparently, that's too much movement for you.

"Tch, stop moving!" Your voice draws out, dipped in annoyance. You thump your head against his back and Steve laughs again, a bit pink in the face when the dude moves away with an awkward goodbye. Steve doesn't blame him, with your roaming hands, though he's fairly sure you're actually just looking for a cuddle.

Steve stills himself. "Why—"

"You feel amazing in my arms," you say, muffled by your face in his shirt. You squeeze him a bit tighter, a hug that actually squeezes his heart too because fuck, if he doesn't feel adored right now.

"Baby," He starts, prying your arms off just enough to turn and face you. You whine a bit but it dies down at being able to lean your head against his chest, chin planting between his pecs. You gaze up at him and blow a half-hearted raspberry. Steve thinks about dipping you sweet and kissing you there, just to see if you'll get warm enough in the face that he'll feel it too.

"D'you wanna go home?" He asks.

You shake your head but tighten your hold. Steve sweeps a hand across your forehead, pushing back stray hairs with a loving hum. "If we go home, we can cuddle, yeah?"

You seem to only just realise this as he says it and it sways your decision in an instant. "Okay, yeah, yes please," you murmur as you bury your face back into his chest. Your please sounds like peas and Steve thinks his heart might ache a little softer because of it.

If you had told sophomore Steve that in the future, he'd be ditching a party early, just for some cuddles, he's sure he would've scoffed at himself. Steve thanks the heavens above for change and let you drag him out the door, footsteps giddy and kisses abundant.

It’s him in denial, wanting her so bad but also feeling like he’s holding sand that’ll slip away if she chooses to leave. You’ll see more of his struggles in the next chapter—I promise it’ll all make sense (hopefully or maybe leave you screaming, hehe).

As for Kenji… oh boy. If Jungkook even thought Kenji was doting on OC, yeah, Kenji better start running. But their chemistry? Sooo sweet and platonic—it makes my heart happy.

Wonwoo: similar to hoshi, he’s going to do what he can to come across cool and casual with his crush. will find any excuse to talk both TO them or ABOUT them. probs wont know what to do around them unless it’s bringing up a mutual interest/random topic. his leo means he’s probs gonna try and intellect/skill flex on them, but that cancer sun makes him so shy. he’s going to be reserved until he gets hints that they’re into him as well.

Jihoon: that scorpio sun makes him so stoic around his crush and will try and play it cool, even tho that placement also means he’s in deeeeep. his aries moon makes him so excitable around them -- he’ll try and make them laugh or maybe even show off around them. then that romantic libra venus is gonna make him freak out whenever his crush does something cute or talks to him. that aries mixed with virgo is also going to make him talk about his crush CONSTANTLY.

So hello friends welcome to my reviews. I type my pure, unfiltered (mostly) thoughts about movies. I call it ‘chey watches films’ and I promise it’s going to stop being so serious. 

My first film I decided to do this on is Promising Young Woman since it was a hit at this past Sunday’s Oscars. Which was amazing - btw. So, of course. Spoilers ahead. These were my thoughts as they happened knowing nothing about the story because I don’t watch trailers on purpose.

okayyyyyyyy I loooove the chapter (as usual) and I donno where to start or focus @ all asdfghjkl I mean Joon's birthdayy? Jimin's birthdayy? the whole fiasco in the brewery? the old hag being all bark no bite? the tournaments? sweet tae's handy work? and then halloween hit us like a truck and boom gotta say I didn't see that coming I thought they were done with being toddlers (?) different theories r already runnin wild in my mind abt that.. well the most plausible one is I have a feeling they fought about the u no paranormal stuff cuz that's what our joonie & jk bonded over and share a common interest in and our foxy had always been wary abt stuff like that not taking it seriously. And moving on (i hv so much 2 say asdfghjk) for a second I was abt 2 accuse u of being biased for our gothic style elk cuz his birthday got more exposure but then again can't say anything cuz a video camera didn't cost our girlie a fortune I'm ugly crying rgt now VESTAA omg I love horses and I'm soo looking forward to scenes with her and yayyyyyyy finallyyy fucking finallyyy our big bad wolf became sweet ( but now I kinda hv doubts aftr the cliffhanger lol) AND "he won, and the first thing he did was look for her"!!!!!!!!!! YOU DID NOT SAYY THAT OH MY GOD ( insert high pitched squealing) I am down bad for yoongi rgt now and I really love how all their relationships are slowly moving forward you need to win the trophy for best writer in the romantic/horror genre ASAP. Jinnie is a sweetheart and I'm happy his friend is fine and I'm so glad Tae is coming around again. The three note whistle of our foxy seems to hold some significance I'm intrigued but call me petty cuz I'm not gonna dwell on it, Foxy been getting on my bad side these days for some reason. but can't stay mad at Al cuz that's friendship goals right there Y/n has amazing friends. and the tarot interpretations were sooo cooool too. In conclusion lemme jst say the chapter gave me whiplash in the best possible way my love for Trouvaille is ever growing ig luv ya tc I'm already counting days for the nxt 🖤

The birthdays... I just love writing them! I can't wait to tackle the other guy's birthdays in the future, too-- (next up is Seokjinnie!!) And the brewery scene was a blast too. I like too add a little bit of tension between Alice, Hoseok, and Y/N, and Seokjin was so excited to eat at a restaurant and try new foods... then you have jealous Tae! And you're right, turns out that old hag is no match for Y/N, Jeongguk, and Namjoon when they join forces. (Luckily for them!)

Halloween... I might write a bonus scene for that closer to when the holiday is upon us! Like them decorating, prepping, more Samhain rituals. That could be fun, no? But the new fight that has been stirred up... they all need to figure out how to argue without it escalating. I suppose with so many male hybrids in the house, conflict is bound to happen, but they could certainly handle it better. I think you're onto something, with Hoseok's skeptical attitude towards the paranormal, he might have joked about something that offended Jeongguk, and Namjoon just happened to back him up... (Hoseok's still a little wary of Namjoon, too, keep in mind).

HEHE with the birthdays; Jeongguk's was quite a bit lengthier and more fleshed out. Since it was the first one to happen in the story, I wanted to demonstrate how Y/N is willing to plan these special days for her boys. While Namjoon and Jimin's birthday scenes are cut shorter, they also got special gifts that suited their personalities (also, if each of their party scenes were as long as Jeongguk's, I feared that they'd become a bit redundant, especially because those three's birthdays are so close).

Horses are so beautiful! I'm so happy that Y/N could reunite Jimin with Vista. Soon, he'll have even more horses to care for once they open up the stable for boarding, so that's something for you to look forward to! Also so heartwarming that Joon is beginning to trust and care for Y/N. As for Yoongi, he's just sooooo.... 🥵 he just wanted Y/N to celebrate his win with him (romantic!!!) Sweet Jin UGH I just wanna snuggle him, he really feels so close to Y/N. Next update, we'll hear more about his friend, Hannah. And thank goodness Tae is recovering from The Incident. 😩

I do get the Hoseok whistle question here and there! He's based off of Mr. Fox in Fantastic Mr. Fox. The whistle tone comes from the movie, you can hear an example of it HERE! Y/N does have some pretty solid friends, and I'm happy you like them too... if Alice knew about Y/N's feelings (she hasn't even decided them for herself, however) she wouldn't openly flirt with Hoseok. The Tarot interpretations were also super fun to research. The deck used in the story is The Wildwood Tarot. It exists IRL, if you're curious!

my bts concert experience in bullet points

this is gonna be long!!!

namjoon looked so good. litcherally. i was ready to risk it all for him. seeing him on screen during the first song (it was dionysus) felt like getting hit by a train. 

speaking of dionysus,,, everyone looked really hot so i was very flustered sgjfvdgb (especially namjoon. especially him.)

hobi was sooo cute during wings like he did a liddle flying move it was adorable 

just dance was such a fun stage!!!! hobi is so charismatic and he sounded amazing too (he kinda sounded very nasal at the beginning but it stopped after a few moments) the part with the water cannons was awesome btw 

jungkook was so smiley!!!!! he was adorable during euphoria and he looked so happy :((( not to mention that he also sounded so clear so stable and so good (and during the last chorus he was like “sing it!!!!” and when he got back on the stage he did a cute walk as if he was on a school trip ssgjfbhkdn)

taehyung had no business looking that good during best of me. thats all i can remember from this song.

jimin sounded kinda weird at the beginning of serendipity (my friend thought that there was something wrong with the mic) like his voice was way too high?? but it was fine for the rest of the song so idk that was random ghhdgfhdb the dancing was perfect btw he was both delicate and powerful (and during the whole concert he was the one i noticed the most bc he had sm energy and he executed every move flawlessly) the whole stage was so pretty with the bubbles and all 

trivia love was so good!!!! namjoon is an amazing performer and i loved all the hearts they put on the screens too that was really cute (it was written “je t’aime paris” at the end of the song,, that was a nice little touch) 

they looked like they had sm fun during boy with luv (and at the end jk changed his love sign to a finger heart but he couldnt find the right camera it was cute)

taehyung said some words in french (i could only hear fantastique bc of all the screaming) and then he asked how his french was (we all yelled that it was good ofc) and then i think that jin said “you’re killing it” but im not sure shvfjgbk jungkook started singing champs élysées and his pronunciation was pretty good imo

jungkook put the rose from boy with luv behind his ear :(((

the whole dope/fire/baepsae medley was so fun (and yeah hobi did the splits and hip thrusted in our faces,,,, namjoon too)

jimin sounded the best during idol imo (with jin ofc)

singularity was a whole religious experience. the audience audibly gasped when taehyung opened his eyes in that bed like. he was so sultry and it felt like i was being hypnotised. that performance was perfect on all levels (and i loved the effects they put on the screen where he was split in red and in blue) icb i had the honor of witnessing that,,, he looked so mesmerising on the screen im still not over this (in general he looked divine everytime he was on screen,,, the charisma,,,,, the presence,,,,,, the aura,,,,,,,,and he looked absolutely adorable when he smiled)

the fake love outfits. incredible. never been done before. extraordinary. fantastique, as taehyung would say

yoongi’s voice sounded higher than i thought it would during seesaw (during the whole concert actually sjfhbkgb even when he talked??) he looked very pretty but it was personally the solo stage i liked the least :// like he didn’t make any mistakes and he sounded good when he sang but it had less impact than the others to me???

EPIPHANY!!!!!! jin sounded perfect and he wore glasses and i almost died. epiphany is better live than on the album imo,,, i just wish armys would have stayed QUIET!!!!!! they almost sang the whole song like bitch i payed to listen to jin not u!!!!!!! anyway jin was so stable and the background made him look like an angel (which he is) and his last adlibs were *chef kiss*

vocal line was perfect during the truth untold but i wish armys would have just,,,shut up svdbjg like this is a ballad?? why r u yelling??? why r u singing over the professional singers??? i kinda wanted to actually hear jungkook sing the “but i still want u” part???? anyway jimin and jk were in full vocal kings mode at the end it was amazing i’ll never get sick of this song (and taehyung’s voice is a gift, truly,,, jin too ofc) also the outfits were so good pls give the styling team a raise they litcherally looked like princes

TEAR WAS SO FUCKING GOOD OMG SGHVJHBGKJBKDJ okay so first off the effects they put on the screen with the green things were so fucking cool and rap line themselvesb too!! namjoon was incredible but hoseok??? mistre jung????????? in that dior outfit?????????????? his stage presence is unmatched. to be more detailed, namjoon sounded better live and had sm energy and hobi too (his part at the end... i am deceased) but i kinda felt like yoongi was a bit off? he was good ofc but idk it seemed to me that he had less energy than the other two (he was probably just tired or sick idk this is not me saying that he sucks ofc) 

i didn’t film anything for mic drop so i enjoyed it to the fullest hehe it was awesome (especially hobi’s part)

anpanman was cute!!! i have to say that i was barely focusing on the song i was just looking at the bangtans playing around on those bouncy things and they looked really happy

taehyung said his pronunciation wasn’t good but that he prepared a few sentences in french and then he said “paris si vous aimez pouvez vous nous dire (?) l’année dernière était comme (?) pouvez-vous nous (?) s’il vous plaît? j’aime vraiment paris. je n’oublierai pas (?)” (paris if you like can you say (?) last year was like (?) could you (?) please? I really love paris. I won’t forget (?)... and at the end i think he asked us if we would come next year but im not sure bc people were screaming at some points) and he ended by saying i love you in korean and he teared up :((( it was so sweet of him to prepare all of this!!!

jimin talked for a while (in korean instead of french bc he wanted us to feel his sincerity) abt how during this tour he realised that he was really happy being around his members, the staff and the fans and that he genuinely hoped that we were too and that happiness was right next to us (and that he hoped that bts was in that happiness too) and he also thanked us several times and said i love u,,, he’s a sweetheart :((

hobi said that he prepared stuff in french even tho he wasn’t confident and said “aujourd’hui c’est la meilleure nuit de notre tour (?) on a terminé notre tour sans accident et ça nous a permis de sentir à quel point vous nous aimez (?) vous êtes vraiment notre espoir, merci d’avoir passé un bon temps avec nous, je vous aime, merci beaucoup” (today is the last night of our tour (?) we finished our tour without any accident and it allowed us to feel how much u love us (?) u guys are really our hope, thank u for spending a good time with us, i love u, thank u sm) im sorry i missed some words bc i genuinely can’t understand what he said shgvdjf other than that his pronunciation was good and it’s so sweet that he prepared all that,,, he looked kinda nervous but he smiled a lot and i think he was actually reading from the prompter??

namjoon said “do u know why paris is always the last date? bc u guys are the damn best (개짱)” but the interpret omitted the damn sjfdghk he also said “on se revoit très bientôt i love u” (let’s see each other very soon)  and “paris est la ville des lumières” (paris is the city of lights) after making us take out our phones with the flash lights and then it transitioned right to mikrokosmos,, that was litcherally poetic cinema

other random things i remember: taehyung was in a really good mood (everyone actually, they were playing around a lot), hobi’s smile is so sunshiney, they poured water on each other a lot during encore (i watched jin sneaking up behind namjoon and spraying him sgfvjd they also watered jimin), there were some points where the mic quality wasn’t that good? idk maybe i just imagined it, i absolutely love how they used the screens it really added to the concert’s visuals, jin did a flying kiss during the first ment, jungkook went to the audience at the end but i was focusing on jin so i only realised he did that when jin was like “jungkook-ah” sjvfhjdgbkj, they weren’t extremely synchonized when dancing but they have great energy so it still looked good and overall i really enjoyed myself (me n my friend were ready to fight that one girl who kept screeching stuff at jungkook at random times tho,,,, icb she yelled shit at him during the truth untold like have some respect???)
