tumblr doesn't have a 'most popular post' thing, and for me this definitely wouldn't make it even for the year alone. but i deeply, deeply appreciate every like and repost this has.

music is unique in the way that it touches us emotionally, and i find it intensely uplifting that so many people still love amy and her music. this is the only post i have ever made that every single note feels like a little nudge, a reminder that we're all connected, even if it's by the beautiful vocals of someone no longer with us. i'm balls-deep in fandom tumblr, but no fandom, no reblogs/likes, quite hit me in the same way notes do for this post. i wish she knew the impact she still had, but i am so happy we small few remain united.

sorryyyyyy but spike tossing a cigarette on the ground in front of buffy as a way of announcing his presence is so cute. sweet little microcosm of their relationship. he causes a bit of mayhem and she swiftly puts a stop to it. crushes the cigarette under her shoe. that's her job. and he knows that's what she's going to do. he knows what the outcome will be. but he tosses the cigarette anyway. mutual enrichment. he's just playing. and she understands and it makes her smile.

In another (happier) world, I think Muhen would've been Akechi's Sojiro. Akechi would've lived above Jazz Jin just like how Joker lived above Leblanc. Muhen would've taught him how to make the drinks and close up at night. They would've bonded over music. And Akechi would finally have an adult looking after him. Because Muhen does care about him in-canon. He's the only character in the epilogue that mentions Akechi, he notices who Akechi spends time with, and he wishes to see him again.

It's so sad that Akechi assumes nobody cares about him or wants him around and yet this random jazz club owner does. Do you ever think about Muhen seeing Akechi at the Jazz Jin sometime in December, not knowing it would be the last time he ever would
