i think a lot of my experience being bigender is a lot of like.. sucking it up for the sake of the greater context? like, when it comes to lgbt politics, or gender politics, theres a lot of times where "men" and "women" are used as discrete categories and i deeply feel that what is being said excludes my existence, but its also important enough for it to be said that i kind of just excuse myself from existing for the sake of the point. like, im listening to a video thats discussing issues that concern wlw, and the creator is clearly trying to cast a very wide net by talking about experiences of "people who do not identify as men and are attracted to women". and yet im here as a woman-loving woman who also identifies as a man, and its kind of like.. well, yes, the existence of my experiences is negated in that framework. but also, i get what is being said and its frankly the widest definition you could give that doesnt end up including people youre definitely not talking about, so i just kind of have to say "yeah, im excluded, but, like, i dont really matter in the grand scheme of things". i find that i end up doing that a lot. im not sure what to say about it, its not like this is 'problematic' or like im asking everyone to switch to even more complicated language for my sake - thats kind of the opposite of what im doing. im usually trying to simplify the language used so that its as understandable as possible, even if it has to come with the asterisk that "theres more nuances to this and this definition is incomplete, but this at least gets close". but idk. basically "woman-loving woman" is often defined in terms that are very vast, that try to encompass as many people whose experiences apply as possible, but the line tends to be drawn just before it can include me, at least not unless i erase part of me. i dont have a fix or alternative i just feel sad sometimes ig lol

yuki sohma is! a fuck boy! yuki is the boy who sends machi/kakeru/whoever tf late night “you up?” texts, who lightens the mood by saying “noo dont do x youre so sexy aha,” who is always down to fuck. he and machi watch titanic together; yuki is crying halfway through the movie but hes also being a slutty slutty boy together with machi. he wants machi to draw him like a french girl. with kakeru its a little less obvious because yuki would Rather Die than be caught screwing around with kakeru, but hes still the type to shut him up with a kiss, to avoid serious conversations by doing sexy stuff lmao. that being said, he is still a very emotional boy, and rather open with his feelings; he tends to intellectualize emotions (abby would say its his libra moon) but overall he is very sweet. he believes the only way to respect women is through pleasure and tbh can you blame him??

ayame sohma is an absolute sweetheart omg, tbh discord and i hc that he and mine have the fewest fights of any of the couples; they just exude that “perfect communication, perfect for each other” energy yknow? anyway aya has plenty of flair to spare and he spends a lot of it complimenting mine and making her feel like the most perfect and beautiful princess in the world. they both wear the dress on their wedding day and its gorgeous; theyre beautiful and soulmates and aya is very sweet.

kureno sohma is head over heels in love w his girl uo (if youre gonna fight me over kurenuo dont plz :P)! he’s the type to always assume that uo is doing fine because “shes much more capable with most things than he is” which is true! uo will call him and be upset about something or other and he’ll ask her if shes okay; when she explains whats going on and how shes wondering if she can’t handle....... whatever it is (college uo college uo head canon that actually instead of them travelling together immediately kureno went on his own and uo went to college but they still stayed pen pals anyway shes worried about not doing well in classes) he says something incredibly sweet along the lines of “well, of course you can handle this! you’re capable of everything” and she can tell he really really means it and it doesnt solve the problem but it does make her feel better, and reminds her that she is loved

shigure sohma, once things settle after canon, finally has the chance to spoil the girl he loves, and he does; actually, i think it negatively impacts the rest of his relationships for a while. he becomes completely subservient to akito for a while because he’s found his “happy ending,” so it’s okay to give into those feelings of wanting to spoil her now, right? she’s the most important person in his life, after all. anyway, that mindset lasts for a bit until suddenly it breaks bc akki isnt suddenly perfect either, shes still naturally jealous and afraid that he will leave her, that he’ll cheat on her, so they have a fight at some point; they spend some time apart where shigure learns that it’s okay to love his family and himself, on top of akki, and that being in love isnt about doing everything for the other person; meanwhile akki gets some therapy about her anxiety and rage issues and settles down enough to trust shigure. from then on he’s still very loving and spoiling, but he spends more time teasing her than before, and spends time discussing pros and cons of various couple decisions that they have to make.

hatori sohma is super super cute and super super awkward oml. he spends the early days of his relationship with mayu trying to be cool and impress her because shes so cool (!); he buys aviator sunglasses bc he heard they make people look cool and mysterious and his lactose intolerant ass will go on ice cream dates with mayu which doesnt always.... end well lmaooo. hes very protective of her, perhaps a bit overbearing when she’s sick or injured especially, but it’s always very clear that his heart is full of love for his girl, that he loves her to bits.

hatsuharu sohma has big dick energy  ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) now that thats out of the way: if anyone on this list was gonna tease his girl its haru, oml. haru spends 99% of his day finding new and exciting ways to annoy rin cause he thinks shes cute when she’s annoyed (she is) and because hes very confident that they’ll be together forever p much no matter what (they will be). the other 1% of the day is being the sweetest guy in the world bc thats just haru, he tells rin that shes beautiful, that she’s the only girl for him, that its just facts that they would be together, and then the 1% is up and hes explaining that its bc “who else has this goth energy” and “anyway i like your tits” but! its still sweet, even though he’s annoying.

momiji sohma is a cutie! but he’s also a little shit sometimes. he’d rather be a little shit to the rest of the world, with kimi, than to her specifically though; the two of them are dramatic little shits who stage fake arguments, uncomfortable couple dynamics, overly slutty relationships, etc for the specific purpose of the Drama TM of it all. they also like to play up traditional “male and female, husband and wife” roles to the point of satire, because they think it’s funny to point out how ridiculous it is to be such stilted characters together; unfortunately, however, no one around them pays enough attention socially to figure any of it out :( but! it doesnt matter bc for the most part theyre just starting drama and making each other laugh, so its good :).

hiro sohma is v v v sweet and protective; when he gets a little older he joins the “respect women at all costs” gang with kyo, hatori, kureno, and ayame (vs the “respect women through sex” gang with yuki, shigure, haru, and momiji); he’s a bit of a shit about it bc its hiro but its very sweet! anybody comes and bothers kisa and he’s on their ass about how you can’t treat girls that way blah blah blah hiros v talkative lmao. anyway he’s cute moving on.

kyo sohma (bc i like making kyo stans wait til the end to get their man >:P) is completely obsessed with doin right by his girl. he loves tohru to bits (he’s never ever loved anyone else either, man is a tohrusexual through and through) and honestly its a little overbearing sometimes here too lmao. hc that during the v stressful time when theyre planning their wedding (and tohru is pregnant haha) kyo does his whole “let me do everything for you are you sure you should be doing that in your condition? get some rest i can do this for you also fuck anybody coming to bother her with anything yall are assholes” thing--which, normally tohru thinks is cute n sweet tbh (cause it kinda is) but when shes stressed out of her mind, hormonal, and annoyed w herself for not being able to do as much as she normally can? she gets a little snippy with him sometimes :) however its just a learning experience for them kyo eventually gets better at reading the mood and they live happily ever after forever

There is no doubt that Jamie is a pisces sun. Some of the well known characteristics of a piscean are being the artistic ones, the ones more in touch with their emotions and the absolute dreamers of the zodiac, I can assure you this as a mercury and moon piscean!

And it’s quite obvious that these traits 100% match up to jamie’s surface character being a big theater nerd, writer, poet, and as an actor, he HAS to understand emotion in all its forms! While being the more compassionate of signs, that also comes with sympathy, and maybe even empathy.

One of the biggest desires for any libra placement is balance, And the moon sign being the emotion sign, Libra moons desire an emotional balance as much as they do in their environment. Libra Moons can also be known as a “people person” while typically depending on the study of others to lean their own nature.

Jamie fits the Libra moon description being a sort of people person himself. Though he’s capable of keeping a friendly conversation with just about anyone, There’s also no doubt that this guy has severe anxiety that affects his communication with others along with his emotional stability (even affecting him physically). The thing is that he’s managed to keep the anxiety and his social skills much more balanced the more we see him or i guess as time passes, not one of them overpowering the other. So while there are several moments of him maintaining an emotional balance he also has another side of the scale that’s less balanced (astrology word play lmao) such as a general lifestyle balance, also nonexistent for jamie (even though your lifestyle heavily affects your behavior) in a sense that he lacks of a healthy sleep schedule being a mailman AND an actor, one occurring from the early morning to the afternoon and the other job occurring at night. Probably irrelevent but its MY sleepover and Ill add as much necessary info in this birth chart reading as i please.

Im also including buddys book as an example because though it was only jamie being the faceclaim for buddy theres no denying that since historical friction theres at least some parallels between the two characters sharing the same traits (being writers, returning to beach city to prosper in their careers, being absolute drama kings)

One of the biggest aspects to Jamie’s character INCLUDES being an absolute sucker for romance so lets get this bread and talk abt his relationships w/ everyone and his views on love uwu

Scorpio being a water sign means healing is one of the largest aspects to the sign. Healing nonetheless comes with a relation to trauma being from the planet representing death itself. Life and Death go hand in hand to define each other, ya feel me.

while were on the topic of death lets bring back the parallelism between jamie and buddy thats been around since historical friction. in the play buddy is presumed dead up until william reaches beach city. ok. so hear me out. perhaps that was foreshadowing for jamie’s traumatic near death encounter with topaz and aqua. remember how I said the water element represents healing as well as trauma??? It all kinda ties in yall...

ANYWAYS It’s safe to say that Jamie is a person that’s been through his rock bottom AND trauma already (his death if you will), struggling to live a happy, or even regular (lets face it as far as we know the only thing he came back to beach city with was sunglasses, bitch was broke) life in kansas, the abduction, its not something you can heal from overnight. While he does show symptoms of severe anxiety (to say the very least) even after the abduction he’s also grown closer to working on healing, moving on from his overwhelming fear of rejection by prospering in theater (him coming back to life if u will), and as for anything directly related to the abduction is unknown, but its very likely he’s working on moving on from that on his own as far as we know!!

which brings up the next trait of a scorpion venusian! They prefer to be a mystery in order to protect themselves as a result of fear of getting hurt for trusting/opening up too much. The first time we see jamie since the abduction is during the re-election in dewey wins, where he doesn’t seem affected at all. Yes, Jamie is a pretty open book for the most part (see dewmie-in’s analogy to in/out of the closet in historical friction) however theres also moments where he limits himself, or perhaps another side to himself, a far more passionate side…

Holding back tears during his drama zone and waiting until hes alone to be excited abt delivering his letter in love letters, playing it cool when earning theater director position in historical friction, not to mention his room SHOULD play a very huge role in his secretive side. (see brodingle’s post on jamie’s room, his casual side vs his passionate side)

the venus in scorpio (or any scorpio placement rlly) also remains a secret not truly by choice, but theyre also studying others of interest. being an actor, Jamie should know a thing or two on body language and raw emotion as he sees it.

And finally, The venus is scorpio is a devoted, passionate, and emotionally attached lover. in love letters he falls for someone easily, and even if he learned in the end love at first sight isnt real he is most definitely the type to fall easily based on emotional connection alone! Also, his fear of rejection can easily play into his love life as well. Being in kansas getting constantly rejected and returning back home out of not just defeat but most likely homesickness as well. Mars being the planet of impulsiveness, energy, initiation and “doing it” being born under the sign of doing it efficiently and orderly gives a handful of traits that completely match up to Jamie and the way he puts out his energy into the world

Jamie has been the type to not just instantly put his energy into something new, but he’s also put his energy into mastering said thing! While Mars is the planet of impusiveness, Virgo is the sign of patience, the Virgo mars is a firm believer of practice makes perfect, and striving for overall perfect, which does in fact get overwhelming for Jamie the perfectionist.

In historical friction, though hesitant, he was not afraid to critique and analyze dewey’s writing skills. And although he was anxious again to go against deweys script and use pearls version instead, he went with pearls because he desperately needed to execute his first play flawlessly. this also occurs again in letters to lars, when his improv performance doesnt go as planned he doesnt just end it from there, in fact, he still has that sense of patience to critique his cast members on stage before getting completely irritated when they dont comply. imo its important to note this duality of patience and impulsiveness because this is an anxiety inducing combination that heavily matches up to Jamies energy.

it’s also important to bring Jamie’s room back in this, because while it was creepy as shit its also FILLED with books, and has really fancy stationery meaning he is in fact a writer. The Mars in Virgo is an attentive to detail oriented person, and being a writer, Jamie not only reads others’ works, he records his own with plenty of detail as seen in his love letter to garnet. oh yeah since my whole long text post got away from me the way all of them always do, i end up at the end of fourteen paragraphs being like “wait did i get to this basic point in any of this or forget it b/c i went off on a dozen tangents” but its def strange to look at this as a Break for them, and as something they Needed to have happen, and as something directly based on their relationship at all. like where they were as a Thing was at its most chill and comfortable point ever really.....but that doesnt mean their lives were perfect and they were satisfied w everything? b/c this stuff is way more about them individually....like their own personal issues and their own dissatisfactions w things in their lives. like any particular relationship in someones life doesnt (and shouldnt) define their entire life and happiness......you can still have things as individuals you want/need to work out for your own sake to be happier w your life overall, and thats whats happening here. neither lars or sadie was happy being stuck working at the big donut, both being pretty socially isolated, both feeling negatively impacted by the pressure they felt from how ppl around them perceived them, neither seeming to have ever had the chance to be in an ongoing situation in which they can personally thrive and feel positive about the role they get to play, and other stuff i guess i did just make an overly long post abt last night. THATS the stuff these arcs are addressing for them (and that the shows been addressing for their characters the whole time really), their relationship didnt have anything to do with that stuff b/c them being together wasnt ever The One Thing they needed to find happiness and fulfillment in every single part of their lives smh.........there’s no way that them just “getting a break” from kinda? dating? was what they needed to suddenly make a burst of progress/development in these totally personal aspects of their lives. or even that they needed a break to be happy w their relationship...honestly they were doing fine. yes, being happier in any part of your life usually makes things slightly easier than across the board misery, and yes personal, individual development/change will have an effect on a relationship, what with a relationship being comprised of 2+ individuals and all. but everything that lars and sadie have ever done and experienced hasnt been solely for the purpose of their relationship. and the Pretty Alright place they seemed to be in re: each other wasnt like....What Needed To Change for them ffs its such a weird way to look at it and really like. nobody should think that a relationship means “something that means your whole life is perfect now and thus no part of it can/should change” or “something that means you consider yourself 100% personally fulfilled”.......ppl should support their partners as individuals and not just strictly re the relationship, e.g. pursuing their own interests, focusing on their own problems even if they dont strictly affect the relationship. like, its not even a full step away from “your one relationship should bring you all the happiness you need in life and ultimately nothing else matters / you should completely shrug off all your own personal needs cuz they shouldnt feel like a big deal to you anymore” to the kind of fuckery shitheads will assert to make points like that their partners shouldnt need friends / anyone else to talk to / any other social interaction at all and nothing less than purely selfless sacrifice of their own wants & needs means theyre a bad partner harming the relationship and other person its so weird to say like. honestly they’re just physically separated by billions of miles or something, clearly they are still fond of each other in the same way as before they left? and are not like, mentally stepping away from how they feel about the other person? just b/c neither of them are like, exclusively mourning the absence of the other doesnt mean they’ve cast off their relationship for a bit. lars is trying to freakin not die again and get himself and the other off colors to earth, & sadie is just like, still doing things because lars isnt there to do shit with and nobodys entire life is This One Thing. its obv good that both of them got to quit the big donut, even if only one of them got to do so voluntarily—cuz obv really the only plus side was working with your bud & they wouldve had to quit mutually. and it’ll probs be nice for lars that like, he’s still the same person and deeply insecure in how everyone thinks of him, and is right now—b/c she isnt there—having to completely trust that sadie still likes him and misses him, and he’ll get to have that confirmed when he gets back. its not like any of this is like distinctly compartmentalized into Not Affecting Their Relationship vs Exclusively Affecting Their Relationship....i’m so.....like do we have to do everything ourselves? do we have to do a 27hr presentation every month to make points to ppl who apparently dont really give 3 sec of thought to the dnads once over the course of the series. like damnit i know i’m out here putting four days of thought into any 36second appearance of theirs, but why are other ppl apparently watching entire sets of eps about them w/o gaining like...any info abt their characters amateur hour im saying....... also like. just weird to see anybody talk abt lars and sadies relationship At All b/c usually all you see is shit from way back in the day when ppl were like wow. abusive....disgusting...
