Having a very uuuugh sort of day for no reason 😓
#personal#i think it's a combo of having a very low energy day + having a lot of chores to do + having to communicate with a lot of people over text#so now i'm extra tired and nervous for no reason#plus i have an upcoming date with someone new coming up towards the end of july#which is nice but#i never know how to talk about things like that with people in my life?#talking about going on dates always seems to create this weird tension around them in my head#like now there's this pressure for the date to go somewhere since people may ask me about it afterwards#and i don't like it - i want to keep things casual (especially since a lot of the time i choose to go on a date#bc i'm tired of texting and want to have those initial getting to know one another convos done in an afternoon instead of weeks of messages#but then not talking about upcoming dates when people ask me about evening/weekend plans makes me feel like i'm hiding something#which also feels weird#there's just no winning#whining

You and Keeho sat on the couch, you on top of his lap. It was like any other Tuesday night, he got home late from practice once again, tired and groggy. Something was slightly off though, he seemed a bit affectionate… more than usual.
“Hey Baby? What's up with you tonight?” You quietly mumbled into his shoulder. He tilted your head up at himself before answering.
“You’re just looking extra beautiful tonight… I don't know if I can even keep my hands off of you.” Keeho whispered in your ear, moving a strand of hair behind your ear.
The scene was slightly sensual, the two of you alone in the dark. The only light was coming from the TV, which was playing a show that the two of you had long forgotten about by now. Keeho’s eyes had now averted to your lips, they were so soft and plump… how could he ever keep his attention off of them? By now you had averted your attention back to the TV. Keeho had tried to also watch the TV, but for some reason he just couldn’t shake the thought of you. Keeho had never desired you in this way yet. Each passing moment he could feel his pants tightening. Then again, he had to remember that he had never proposed this idea to you before. Keeho didn’t want to seem weird, he loved you and didn’t want to make you uncomfortable.
“Hey love?” He asked, gently grabbing your chin. You looked up at him.
“What’s wrong?” You looked at him with eyes of concern.
“Well, I was wondering if you would wanna have your first time tonight? I understand if not, I don’t want to make you uncomfortable.” He gave you a small and slightly pouty smile.
Your eyes widened a little, you were unsure. You guys have been dating for about a year and a half now, it couldn’t hurt that bad right? Your gaze drifted away from him as you thought about it. You quickly turned your attention back to him, his brown eyes capturing yours in their warm aura. You nodded at him, signaling you wanted this. He gently shook his head.
“No love, I need you to say it. I dont play about consent.” He looked down at you, his gaze a bit firmer.
“Yes, I want this.” You spoke quietly, it was almost embarrassing to admit something like this. What if he thought you were just a pitiful virgin?
“Good, love. Let's get to the bedroom then, hm?” He smiled down at you, gently grabbing your hand.
As the two of you walked to the bedroom you could feel the pace of your heartbeat quicken. You had never done this before, to say the least, you were really nervous. Keeho could sense something off about you. He sat you down on the edge of the bed, still holding your hand.
“You know if you don't want to do this, you don't have to. I want you to be comfortable, love.” He looked you in the eyes, his gaze was soft and full of affection.
You gazed up at him, You were nervous, but you really wanted this to happen.
“I promise, this is what I want, I'm 100% comfortable with this. I love you so much.” You whispered to Keeho as You leaned onto him. He smiled down at you.
“Alright, let's get you prepped then okay?” He gently patted your thigh as he gave you a loving look. You nodded at him.
“Is there anything you wanna handle on your own in the bathroom before I help you?” He asked you as you stared up at him. You shook your head, You always keep yourself tidy just in case anything happens unexpectedly, for instance, this moment right now.
“Alright then, let me see you, pretty.” Keeho said in a warm voice as he gently tugged at your waistband.
He began to undress you, savoring every moment he got to look at your figure. He toyed with the hem of your t-shirt before locking eyes with you.
“You wanna keep this on or no?” He asked, his voice full of security and care. You nodded, signaling you wanted to keep the shirt. He smiled at your small activity.
“Okay then pretty, lay back against the pillows for me?” You followed his instructions quickly, crawling to the headboard and leaning against the pillows.
“What do I do now?” You whispered to him, a glint of excitement in your voice. He smiled at your curious aura, it was clear that you were inexperienced.
“Just spread your legs for me pretty. Do you want option one or option two?” He asked, a small smirk forming on his face. You could tell that either option would feel heavenly.
“I guess option two?” You whispered hesitantly. He smiled at you and gently pulled apart your legs, his hand on your thigh.
He moved up to sit next to you, gently scooping you into his lap. His hand slid dangerously close to your pantie covered core.
“Alright love, this might hurt a little at first but you’ll be a good girl for me, right?” He smiled as you nodded your head.
“I’ll start then, just remember… we don't have to go all the way. If you want to stop please let me know, love.” He whispered in your ear as he gently rubbed your inner thigh.
He slid your cotton panties to the side. They were nothing fancy, white and navy blue stripes, boyshort cut. Keeho’s hands moved in towards your core, gently splitting open your folds with his index and middle finger, just enough to be able to find your clit. He began to play with your clit, rubbing small circles around your sensitive pearl. You let out a whine, your legs trying to squeeze together.
“Nope pretty girl, you’re not gonna do that.” He had looped his arm under your left leg to hold it in place.
Keeho then began to move his fingers down, teasing your entrance. With no warning he pumped his fingers into you. He was careful, listening for any signs of discomfort. As soon as he figured you were all clear he began to move his fingers in and out of you at a slow pace. It was driving you insane like a slow burn, all you wanted was to feel lost in Keeho’s touch.
“Please… just fuck me Kee!” You whined out to him, you didn’t really care about the pain or prep, you had been a virgin for so long you just wanted to be fucked.
He chuckled a little at your blunt response before flipping you over, you were now laying on your back.
“This what you want?” He asked, gently spreading your legs again before discarding your panties. You nodded, an eager smile spreading across your face.
He began to take off his shorts, sliding his boxers down with them. He was big, and it was mortifying to you. Fear washed over your face as you saw his size. Keeho looked down at you, a smirk on his face.
“What? Is my pretty girl scared?” He leaned down, whispering huskily in your ear. You nodded, not being able to say anything. You were shocked, and definitely nervous.
“You wanna stop now, love?” He asked in a gentle tone. You nodded, hiding your face in your palms.
“It’s okay love, you do realize it's your first time so things may seem scary? We can always take it slow and try again next time.” Keeho whispered to you sweetly. He gently stroked your hair while his other hand was laying on your waist.
“I’m sorry… I just saw it and got really nervous.” You spoke quietly as you looked up at him. He smiled a little at your response.
“It’s okay, I promise. Now how about we get you cleaned up? A nice shower then we can go to bed.” He smiled at you and gently patted your hip.
You nodded in response, happy at the fact that he was willing to take care of you.
“Thank you Keeho, love you.” You whispered to him, a soft smile appearing on your face.
“I love you too pretty, thank you for letting me do this with you.” He smiled back at you and gave you a small kiss on the cheek.

this is my new account, so i'm reposting my 1 piece of work, hope you enjoy!!
readers thoughts are in pink, ever so light implied john price x reader, light questionable behaviour from men (not 141)
thinking about subtle sarcastic reader, especially to the type of man she'd encounter while working in the army. being a civilian and a woman many on base just looked over her, or looked too intensely at certain parts of her. but after months of working she's found her place, she's now respected by those who surround her. but what happens when some higher ups come and visit?
working closely with the 141 was no easy task. going from mundane paperwork to the flurry of action from a mission was difficult for you to handle, let alone helping them. you'd grown closer to them though, no more bouts of shyness stopping you from being yourself. instead you'd grown in to steady workplace banter with all.
unfortunately today couldn't be one of those days as some ever so important higher ups were holding a meeting with the 141, and since you handle the majority of the paperwork you were so graciously invited to attend.
you wished you had a little bit more time to prepare for this. these were important people, who wouldn't be nervous? apart from soap who appeared with a shit-eating grin at your office door, gifting you another surprise meeting. or gaz who could charm any conversation his way a bit too easily, with suave compliments and easy-going humour. don't forget ghost who doesn't even need to look engaged because of his mask, or be expected to speak due to his... unique personality. oh and the captain has been to countless of these meetings, so he can't empathise with you either.
but, one thing you could all agree on is that meetings were incredibly boring. for two reasons mostly. either the attendees were so dense it seemed they hadn't stepped on planet earth before, let alone a military base. or the subject matter was so bland you all wondered why there needed to be a meeting in the first place.
as your heels tapped hastily along the hallway you wondered which it would be. arriving barely on time with a tight clutch on haphazardly organised documents and a cup of coffee you opened the door, and had an inkling it wouldn't be any. you were met with two male voices. one high, clipped and plummy, the other harsh and american.
"-- that's what i expected from someone of her-oh hello! nice to finally meet you" the man at the head of the table said. an older, short and stout man with thin wire-rimmed glasses and a black tailored suit. a typical english man in an authoritative position. "ah, sorry i was late you'll have to excuse me. i thought to bring my extra notes, i hope i didn't make you wait long." you replied. "not at all, my colleague mr sullivan and i were discussing stories from our base". your gaze flicked over to what must be the source of the american voice. perfectly gold hair stuck down with copious amounts of gel, paired with lightly tanned skin and a too white smile didn't make it hard to guess. "civilians eh?" the taller man began "don't know what's up with the ones here, especially the woman we were just talki-"
"right" prices deep gravely voice cut over the grating one "meeting should start we're all 'ere". murmurs of agreement filled the room, and so did glances between the 141 that you didn't pick upon. however you did notice they were unusually quiet though you brushed it off, they were probably tired. "gosh where are my manners" the man at the head of the table exclaimed "my name is mr buckton and i'll be leading this meeting." briskly taking a few steps towards you he shook your hand roughly. being polite you attempted to make eye contact, yet his eyes were still looking straight ahead? lingering only on your chest for a moment he then made eye contact with you, a wide grin crept on his face. "come, your seat is next to mine" he prompted, gesturing you to walk infront of him and take your seat. as you walked infront of him his eyes now travelled further south. a small grimace shared from gaz to soap went undetected by the three sitting at the top of the table. mr buckton at the head, you to his left and then the captain and ghost next to you. opposite was mr sullivan, with gaz then soap next to him. with you all seated the meeting began.
for once the meeting was actually worth being held. despite it not being anything too serious you did well, even with your nerves. you answered questions and expanded in the points of others. as you suggested plans of action mr buckton steadily kept his eyes on you, while mr sullivan constantly scribbled notes down. soon enough the meeting was a breeze. well for about twenty minutes. across from you, mr sullivan was very inquisitive about anything you said. asking you to back it up or to show proof. not thinking much of it you obliged. it was a little odd but you knew your stuff and why not show off infront of higher ups? however the sentiment was not shared with the rest of the 141. who even asked for evidence about evidence? they understood wanting clarification on certain things, but it was growing incessant now. you were capable of your job and they knew that - that's why you were there. price especially helped you in the growing awkwardness; his job had never been so easy with you working underneath him. gaz and soap constantly gave eachother questioning glances, not wanting to explicitly speak up if their captain didn't. ghost was pissed he couldn't hide his eyes rolling as well as his scowl behind his balaclava. although they were growing increasingly annoyed the meeting continued, with more ridiculous questions being asked. professionalism was continued with a grim expression for another twenty minutes or so. hardly.
until mr sullivan basically dislocated his back by stretching in his chair with an exaggerated yawn leaving his cavernous mouth. "thought you woulda brought coffee since you kept us waiting for so long, cant believe you didn't make me some fresh". with beady eyes on you he smiled lazily. oh he has to be joking you thought to yourself there's no way this guy is real. play them at their own game. "why would i make more? i've already got some for myself" you smiled sickly back at him back, one that gaz has used on you many times when he's late giving you a report.
the table fell unusually silent again, and that's when you noticed it. the crackling of unease filling the air. sharp eyes from the 141 darted from eachother to you, to mr sullivan and back again.
"don't be so mean, i'm literally a dying man" he snarkily replied, eyeing you coolly. "one can hope" ghost muttered under his breath.
"i have urgent needs that need to be taken care of, won't you help?". mr sullivan continued, a slimy smile displayed as he noted the effect his badly hidden innuendo had on you. you felt your cheeks warm. he smirked at this, finally affecting you after bugging you the whole bloody meeting. fuck impressing him he's an arsehole.
"well, i'm sure you'll be alright by yourself. seems it happens a lot." you said back, indifferent. as soon as that left your mouth a strange sharp bark that hastily turned in to a cough came from soap. all heads from the table whipped to look at him. "pardon me" he shakily said, quickly taking a sip of his drink, watery eyes not straying from the blank wall above ghosts head.
"let's get back on track hmm?" mr buckton suggested "so cheeky, must be that time of the month". he turned to you with an eyebrow raised with an impish grin.
what. what the actual fuck. not only was this unprofessional, but who even though if that? let alone say it out loud.
price coughed uncomfortably and turned away. gaz and ghost looked at eachother in disbelief. and soap was finding that wall even more interesting. surely it could not get any worse.
"oh you all know what women are like, don't pretend. especially when they're frustrated" mr buckton let out a giggle "you know from work". you actually spluttered, eyes wide with disbelief. the feeling of unease in the air was now a full jolt of electricity. just as you felt price boiling with anger you leaned forwards to mr buckton. if everyone on the table wasn't watching you, they certainly were now.
"tell me" you said. mr buckton looked at you shocked, mouth gaping open. "tell me what women are like. you know i've been so airheaded this last week i hardly know my left from my right!". just to amp it up a little you slowly crossed your arms just underneath your chest, accentuating it. "you've explained so much to me this meeting surely you could explain this?"
the 141's eyes grew to the size of saucers, there's no way these two would actually fall for this? right? at this point mr bucktons and mr sullivans jaws were practically falling off. the latter was sadly the quickest to start talking 'so, when women start-". a smart rap in the door interrupted. a male voice said seriously
"emergency call for you mr buckton".
"oh, oh you must excuse us. i have to end this meeting" mr buckton declared "i simply cant miss this". messily shuffling their papers together both men swiftly said their goodbyes to you all. with that they just about made it out the door without tripping over their own legs.
a second passed after the door banged shut before gaz burst out in howls of laughter, clutching his ribs, soon joined by soap who could barely look at the wall for any longer. ghost stared at the door muttering who knows what under his breath and the captain sat there with his gaze fixated on the table mortified. he turned his head to you apologising profusely and asking if you're okay.
you just nodded vaguely and replied "men"

bf!theodore nott with stressed!reader.
this was probably the most amount of stress you’d been under in a very, very long time.
o.w.l.s were coming up, and it was safe to say that you were nervous.
you had been going bed to late after studying, and waking up early to study some more.
you didn’t mean too, but it was more then likely that you had been avoiding your boyfriend theo, as well.
you had been yet again studying, books thrown all over your desk, when you heard a knock at your door.
you were confused, not remembering any reason why someone would be at your dorm right now.
you opened the door, seeing an expectant theodore at the door.
the second you saw him, it all came flooding back to you.
you had made plans with theodore a while ago for this day, but clearly it had slipped your mind.
the minute you saw his excited eyes, you felt your own flood with tears.
you walked into his arms, collapsing into his chest and likely wetting the fabric with your eyes.
he rubbed your back, his brows furrowing with confusion by the sight of you crying suddenly.
he spoke.
“hey, hey— what’s wrong, baby?”
you sniffled, pulling away and meeting his cold eyes with your own teary ones.
you spoke.
“i’m sorry. i forgot— about our plans, i mean. i was studying, and, and—”
he held your face, kissing the bridge of your nose sweetly. he’d noticed your extra studying, and how you hadn’t really been responding to his texts much.
he thought it was better not to say anything for now, though.
he spoke.
“i know. it’s fine, okay? don’t cry, bella.”
you nodded, feeling his large hands wipe away the salty tears that slipped out of your eyes.
he led you inside, his hand pressed against the small of your back as he clicked the door shut behind him.
he subtly turned off the lamp at your desk, allowing your mind to be freed from any thoughts of the upcoming exams.
he laid down with you, allowing you to rant about all your worries for the exams to him.
he listened, planting sweet kisses on your face every time you got a bit too worked up.
soon, you grew tired in his arms. shifting your position, laying on top of him as he mumbled in your ear.
“gotta quit studying so much. i miss you, bellissima.”
you nodded, humming sleepily in acknowledgment at his words.
he played with your hair for a few minutes, before hearing you whisper in his ear.
“i love you, theo.”
you said, planting a soft kiss right on top of his jaw.
he smiled softly, hand stroking your back softly.
he spoke.
“i love you too, mia secchiona.”

When the 141 + König try to get your attention.
They'll have extra bandaids, hair scrunchies, socks, and ammo for your favorite guns. Anything you could possibly need as an emergency that you might not get easily. They carry around hygiene products for you too if you need. "Dammit I need." Bam immediately in your hand. "Oh I should have taken extra." Don't worry about it they gave enough for a month. Have an illness or need medication they have the supplies you need on hand always. You're tired and can't sleep because you have watch? Oops your shift has been covered, go get some rest.
Ghost:
You've noticed it eventually. He's always got whatever you need and soon it becomes so regular that you're just subconsciously turning to him when you need something. He's always got it too. Without fail. It's not till Price, smug as fly shit, tells you Ghost is covering your night shift that you make the decision to confront him. In the military a man doing you favors could mean anything positive or negative but it could definitely be used against you. You find him and sidled up next to his side. "What are you doing?" You ask eventually. He grunts, pretending to be confused. "You're always doing me favors on the field and now you're taking my watch. What do you want?" He looks down at you. "Don't want anything." His sentence feels incomplete and you just glare up at him. A sigh and then, "Alright I do want something." Ice crawls through your stomach. You had hoped it was just him trying to make you feel comfortable in the group but no, there was a string. You look out to the range and track in your base. "Name it." You bite the words, trying to shove as much terror as you can in to your sentence. "Go to dinner with me." A beat, you inhale, another beat and you decide whether or not this counts as harassment. "You've been doing this to...get me to go on a date?" Trying to make the situation clear from your perspective. "Can't really flirt to save your life, the only way I knew what to do. I'll still do it. I just want you. You're a damn good soldier and an asset to the team. And you leave your work out of the base. The team likes you." He tilts your head back to him, as gently as anything. "I like you."
You loved your dinner and plan more date nights.
Soap
With Johnny it was harder to figure out if something was going on. He was always carrying extra things for the team. Ammo, meds, clothes, whatever. It's not until you get a smoke grenade to the face and you have to rip your contacts out to flush your face properly that you don't have extra, and your goggles that have your prescription is in your room. Keeping the pillows company. "Fuck all this." You're basically blind without them and there's no way you can fake it till you're back to base. It was stupid and careless. Price was going to have a field day with this after he reams you for an hour at least. "You alright?" Soap slumped down next to your still prone body. "No it's dumb I left my glasses and contacts. I'm going to have to evac. Or just wait." Soap laughs and you're about to get mad before he pulls out goggles for you. It's your old script but it's not too bad. You make it back to base with nothing more than a headache from your aching eyes. There's no reason he should have your old glasses. In fact, it's made you start to question how he always knows where you leave your things. He's genuinely nice and not in a bad way, even Ghost is gentle around him. Still, you need to talk, cause that's weird. Looking around you find him and you ask him to follow you in to the conference room. He does, glancing at you in confusion. You keep your face neutral and when the two of you sit down he's relaxed but nervous. "Everything alright?" "No not really, why do you have my old glasses? Pretty sure I threw those out, plus it's weird that you always know where I lose things." You lay out your concerns and his shoulders drop. "One, yes I notice where you lose things but you're always losing things and it makes you frustrated. So I've just been making sure to pay attention when you put something down or when you drop something. Two, you did throw them out but I had an extra from when your glasses once on a mission. So I've always kept one just in case. I'm sorry I made you unsettled. I really meant no harm. Plus I, wait no, sorry not the time." He waves his hand. "No no go on it's ok." You feel comfortable again and willing to go back to how it was before and hopefully set boundaries better for yourself. He leans forward. "I like you. I've been trying to get you to look at me, actually look at me." You feel your face go hot. "Dinner, maybe? Or something?" He continues, trying not to laugh at your agape expression.
You have dinner and a movie and happily wonder what your next date will be
Gaz
You were so focused on getting your exercise this morning done before it got too busy that you missed the breakfast call. 'Dammit!' There was no way it wasn't packed with people now. All the good food would be taken and you are not going to touch those breakfast bars, more crumb than food honestly. You make your way to your room, hoping that you would have something in your stash of snacks. As you comb through your drawers you find a single bag of popcorn. You had been meaning to go up to the shops and restock but you've been so busy or do tired lately. And now your stomach was growling. Great. You finished your popcorn on the way to the mess hall. The line was long but you slide in and wait. "Hey morning." Gaz bumps your shoulder friendly. "Hey!" You smile, he was always nice to you, and welcomed you to the group easily. "Got your favorites already don't worry about the line." He points over where the 141 was sat and a plate in front of an empty chair. You frown, "Yeah those are my favorites? How did you?" Gaz scoffs. "You eat like the same 6 things it's not hard to remember." Actually now that you think about it, he always makes sure you had your favorite food. Even if he for sure had to go out of his way. He looks over to your concerned face. "Hey you ok?" "No that's really weird. But thank you I think." You pick up your plate and go back to your room. It's too loud and the sound of other people chewing makes you want to scream today. Gaz followed you. "I'm sorry I didn't mean to upset you." You sigh and stop. "I'm good at what I do except this. Let me start over. You, me, dinner?" He asks and you look over to him. Before you can stop it a smile creeps over your face. "You were flirting?" He laughs, sheepish. "Badly, obviously." You shake your head, still smiling. "Ok you know what? Dinner sounds nice."
You both enjoy dinner so much that you end up taking all your meals alone together. It becomes so commonplace that Price sends those fold away tables to your rooms.
Price
You were new and the transition from your old squad to the 141 was strange. The base was private, secluded and unfortunately for you the nearest stores were about 15 miles away. It made shopping for hygiene products so annoying so you had to stock up. Until you had been gone for two months on a mission and you came back smelling awful and you had been run ragged and all you wanted was a shower and maybe a two week nap. You walked up to the base and Price walked out. "Good to see you, welcome back." "Good to be back Sir. I'll feel better after I get settled." He laughed and walked you in. "We had a bit of a move around. Your room was moved." Nervous now you followed him. "Something happen?" Shaking his head, Price lead you to a new door. "I should have had this done before but it turns out there's no real way to get plumbing to where your room was so we moved you here." You walked in and your things had been carefully moved. Wait. "Plumbing?" "Built you your own bathroom. Little bit of your own space." "I don't understand. I was fine with the one we already had." You looked under the sink and there was one more box of pads and tampons you absolutely were sure you didn't buy. That was creepy. "Let me know when you need new ones by the way I'll put in the order." Your head was screaming danger. No man in his position of power would just do that for no reason. Danger. No one would build a bathroom for one person and get the exact private things you would usually get. Danger. Slowly you stood up. Option One, get a hold of someone above Price and get out of here quickly and quietly Option Two be nice and grateful, (which you are Ghost and Soap are big fans of bathroom sex and any chance to not see that again was fantastic), but see if you can get out of this room without him noticing you freaking out. "What's wrong?" He asked, noticing your tension. Fuck, option one then. "It's kind of weird you know my order and the things I get. You also built me this. Captain, you have to know how this looks." You turn and face him. He looks at you and the gears start to turn. "Oh shit. No it's not like that I completely understand. I'm just trying to make you feel at ease. Give you your own space. Also your products are coming out of the squad budget so it's not any string I had to pull. I only noticed what they were when it was being packed away." You really think about it. Mull it over and over and slowly nod. "Then.. thank you Captain. I do appreciate it. It's so nice." Your own bathroom. You would have killed for this in your old squad. "Just want to take off my favorite girl." There he goes again. The easy banter. "I thought it was no big deal." You tease. "If I wasn't your favorite girl then you wouldn't do this?" He chuckles. "No I would. I wouldn't have any ideas about what goes on in this shower but I would still make it happen." "What kind of ideas?" You lean on the doorframe and he takes a few steps to you. "Let me show you."
You must have been in there a while because when you both make your way to the kitchen Ghost and Johnny are sitting around looking vaguely impatient. "Thank fuck." Ghost sighs and Johnny laughs. "Finally done? Thought you'd never finish."
König
You and König are good friends coming in at the same time, the two of you bond over trying to figure out your place in the squad. He's got your back and you've got his. When you get stuck in rain or fall in to water puddles too deep and they seep through your boots, he always has an extra pair of socks with him. Or a shirt when you need to rip one for an impromptu bandage. But it's especially odd when he happens to have a belt that is your size that you use to hold up a gun you swipped off an enemy body. "We're gonna talk about this when we get back." You tell him, matter of factly. And you do. You come up to his room and he let's you in. His body language is tense and he's actively making himself look as small and non-threatening as is physically impossible. "You always have spare clothes for me. You always have a hair tie or like today with a belt that I checked and is my size. It certainly isn't yours. So what's going on?" He slumps, and admits that he just wants to take care of you. "I'm not sure why I picked that but. For me it's strange I have to order my clothes or make them so I always like to make sure that you have clothes? I think. I'm not sure what I mean." He stands up and your eyes follow his. "I'm sorry my dear for upsetting you." You scoff and wave him off. "It's not weird you didn't upset me. Besides I think it's kind of cute that's how you show you care." König runs his hand over yours. "I do care. A lot. So much it drives me mad sometimes." He leans down, your head straining back, baring your neck to him. "Show me." You plead. "Not yet. I'm told I need to wine and dine before indulging, no?" You can see his eyes crinkle in mirth and damn if that isn't cute and hot at the same time.
"Ok I'm dined, I'm wined. Can we indulge now?" His laugh, deep and warm, is a balm and a flame at the same time.
Can you tell König is my favorite? None of this is healthy btw. I'm walking through the factory where they make the red flags and I'm asking for the gift shop and menu anyway. I need an exorcism.
Edit: can't believe I forgot Kyle. Ugh. Sorry for the late addition folx

Joey B Imagines: Nonsense*
————————————————————————-
Summary: A coupon book you give Joe for Christmas as a joke turns into you doing something completely out of your comfort zone.
Warnings: Smut
Pairing: Joe Burrow x reader
Imagine universe: Everlasting Love
————————————————————————-
December 29, 2023
(y/n’s pov)
Sitting in bed, bored.
Seems like all I've been doing since I got back to Athens.
I missed Joe with every fiber of my being. I would give so much just to be able to reach out and touch his soft skin, his blonde locks, and feel the warmth his body emitted.
It was later in the night, ten o'clock.
Joe was probably asleep already, but he hadn't texted me yet saying goodnight.
Maybe he just got busy, I thought.
My thoughts started wandering. I was getting nervous about why Joe hadn't texted me all evening.
Almost as if he could read my mind before I got too worried, Joe texted me.
Hey, baby. You're prob asleep but I'm sorry I'm just getting to you now. I was over at Sam’s and my phone died. He was being a dick and wouldn't let me use his charger for some reason.
Anyways, goodnight, I love you.
I laughed slightly at his text, able to picture Sam arguing with Joe because he didn't want him using his charger.
I'm awake actually. Sam’s stupid btw, and I love you too.
Watching the bubbles pop up quickly, it was just a few seconds later when Joe texted back.
Since you're awake, wanna ft?
Sure!
Seconds later Joe’s name showed up on my screen and I immediately accepted the call.
I was met with Joe’s smiling face when the call connected. He was lying in bed shirtless, curls slightly wet while leaning against the headboard.
“Hi, baby.” - Joe grinned
Immediately, I recognized how deep his voice was. His voice generally dropped an octave when he was tired or aroused, and right now, I had a feeling it could be both.
“Hi, Joey. What are you up to?” - you
“Lying here in bed, thinking about you and how much I want you in this bed.” - Joe
After giggling at his admission, Joe continued.
“I was just thinking about your week here, and then I started thinking about sex… and that coupon book you gave me.” - Joe groaned
“You are insatiable, Joe.” - you giggled
“Fuck… I want you so bad right now.” - Joe
“Well, you're two hours away.” - you
“I swear, I'm always the horniest when you're away. It's like my dick’s betraying me.” - Joe
I absolutely snorted, laughing at his confession.
“I’m sorry it's like that and that I can't do anything to help you, baby.” - you
“Not your fault. I just can't stop thinking about you… and being inside of you.” - Joe
“If it makes you feel any better… I think about you all the time. Wish I could suck you off through Facetime.” - you giggled
“Shit, don't say that.” - Joe
“Why not?” - you grinned
“I’m getting super fucking hard right now. I'm just trynna wait for my hard-on to go away, but that's not possible if you keep saying things that make my dick twitch.” - Joe
“Boy, you're feeling very blunt tonight.” - you laughed
“Sorry… I know I get whiney when I'm horny. If I get too annoying just hang up.” - Joe
“You’re not being annoying. Not wrong about the whiney part, though. Like I said, if I could help you I would.” - you
Joe sat for a second, looking like he was deep in thought.
Out of nowhere, he got that ‘lightbulb!’ Look on his face and sat up on the bed with a grin.
“What if there was a way you could?” - Joe
“What are you saying?” - you
“Can I cash in a coupon virtually?” - Joe
I thought for a second. I mean, I didn't want to make him wait to use them just when I was in Cincinnati.
“Yeah, I guess.” - you
“Fuck yeah!” - Joe
Giggling at Joe as he fist-punched the air and did a little dance, I waited to see which one he wanted to use.
“Remember you can only use one a day.” - you
“Oh, I know. I only need one.” - Joe
“Which one do you want to cash in, baby?” - you
Joe flicked through the little booklet, trying to find the one he wanted.
“Ooo! I quote… extra sexy lap dance.” - Joe
I gave him a “what?” look but he only grinned devilishly. His tongue poked out as he bit down on it.
“Joe, how am I gonna give you a lap dance when you're two hours away?” - you laughed
“Just do it right here, on call.” - Joe
A few seconds of silence passed, his cheeky smile oddly convincing.
“Okay.” - you
“Yes!” - Joe yelled
“I’ll be right back, I have to change and grab my speaker.” - you
——
I turned my camera back on once everything was set up. I already had a routine planned for a song and everything, but doing this over the phone would be so different.
Having to essentially dance and grind on my bed, pretending it was Joe.
“You ready?” - you
“So fucking ready.” - Joe
Pressing play on Nonsense by Sabrina Carpenter, I immediately started moving my hips in the most sensual way possible.
Just pretend you're in a club, performing for Joe.
Hearing Joe make a strangled noise gave me more confidence, he's enjoying this.
A few seconds later, I straddled the bed and started paying attention to the phone.
“Can I touch myself? Please?” - Joe
“Go ahead.” - you purred
Joe slid his hand down his pants and immediately wrapped it around his hard length.
“Fuck.” - Joe grunted
He was trying to match the movement of my hips with the slow pumps of his hand.
I could tell he was conflicted between closing his eyes or not. With his eyes closed, he could easily pretend it was my hand jerking him off, but he wanted to watch me.
A minute in, a third of the way through the song, Joe was moaning loudly.
“You… are so… goddam pretty.” - Joe groaned
Just a few seconds later, Joe abruptly pulled his hand out of his pants, and I heard the waistband snap against his stomach.
“I have to stop, I can’t cum yet…” - Joe breathed heavily
I stopped moving around, but Joe didn't like that one bit.
“Not you! Keep going, baby!” - Joe
Moments passed as I watched Joe bite on his lower lip, slowly rubbing over his bulge with his palm.
“Joe, there's a minute left of the song. You might wanna start back up.” - you
So he did. Joe immediately moved his hand back down his pants and pumped his cock faster than before.
“Good Girl, baby.” - Joe moaned
Joe’s head fell back as his chest started heaving, sweat dancing over his bare torso.
“Fuck! I'm gonna cum!” - Joe
“Joe, please take your shorts off. I wanna watch you.” - you
He immediately did my bidding.
I watched Joe lift his hips and pull his shorts down with one hand, never once letting go of his erection.
Joe grabbed his phone and brought it closer to his cock to give me a better view of one of my favorite parts of him.
“See what… you fucking- do to me?” - Joe
He was right. The entire shaft was beet red as his tip was wet from the precum constantly leaking out.
I watched his cock throb one last time before a loud moan left Joe’s lips, and he shot his load onto his hand and stomach.
“Shit…” - Joe hissed
Joe dropped his phone face down onto the bed, his screen was pitch black but I could still hear soft whimpers in his breath.
Pausing my music and getting under the covers of my bed, I got comfortable before checking on Joe.
“You okay, Joey?” - you
“Mhm. I'm just cleanin’ up.” - Joe
“Okay.” - you hummed
A minute later, Joe crawled into bed and picked up his phone.
One thing I loved about Joe was his post-orgasm expression. He always had this delirious smile with tired, hooded eyes.
“You want me to dance while you get off?” - Joe
“Babe, I love you, but I don't think head bobbing and the airplane is gonna help me out much in that department.” - you laughed
“What about my get the gat dance?” - Joe
I snorted when Joe formed a gun with his hand and did a little move with it.
“If you have the cigar, then yes.” - you giggled
Joe went to say something but when he opened his mouth the only thing that came out was a yawn.
“Noted.” - Joe finally said when his yawn was over
We just sat there for a moment, staring at each other with smiles on our faces.
“You seem pretty tired, baby.” - you
“After that orgasm? Yes. I don't think I've ever come that hard from jerking off.” - Joe
“It’s my effect on you, huh?” - you joked
“For real.” - Joe yawned again
“Goodnig-” - you
“Wait… can we just stay on FaceTime? I wanna fall asleep with you.” - Joe
“Of course.” - you
Butterflies erupted in my stomach as Joe placed his phone on the pillow next to his, the one I was sleeping on last week.
“Goodnight, y/n. I love you.” - Joe
“Goodnight, Joe. I love you too.” - you
A few minutes passed by and I heard his light snores through my phone speaker, causing me to smile.
I thought about hanging up, but instead plugged my phone in on my nightstand.
Though I wouldn't physically be falling asleep next to Joe, I knew he was with me.
And with him is where I wanted to always be.

Hello hello my lovely Mei!! How’s it going? I am a bit scared to go into my kitchen because I saw a long bug that was really fast and it disappeared somewhere behind a cabinet :/ I’ve come to you for some comfort maybe a little something about this with Bradley or Jake? I hope you’re doing well <33
Bradley's sleeping. The whole reason you're in the kitchen in the first place is because you want to make him breakfast in bed, so waking him seems counterintuitive. But something long and squirmy and crawly just slipped behind one of your cabinets, the one you'd wanted to reach into, and there's no way you're making pancakes with an extra houseguest.
"Brad," You push at his shoulder gently, marveling the way he's face-down in the pillow and somehow still breathing, "Bradley!"
"Mmf?" Comes his rather unsavory reply, muffled as he groans it straight into the pillow.
"There's a bug," You hiss, "In the kitchen. A big one, and I'm scared."
"Okay." He pushes his palms flat against the mattress to lift himself off of it, and you adore the way he muscles through his sleepy state to help you. He barrels down the hallway towards the kitchen with far less coordination than he'd have if he was fully awake, but it doesn't seem to bother him; he's tired, so he'll go after the bug tired, because you need him to. He's not going to make you wait and worry while he scrolls through his phone, and he's not going to get coffee first to wake him up. You need his bug-catching services, sleepiness be damned.
"Where?" He grunts, eyes still struggling to stay open. You point warily at the cabinet it had escaped behind without crossing the threshold into the kitchen itself, merely poised at the doorway watching.
"Got it," He grumbles, taking a spatula from a jar on the counter.
"Oh- Bradley, no!"
"Hm?" He turns to look back at you, spatula in hand, "What, babe?"
"That's for the food," You fret, "The bug's dirty. And- and so is behind the cabinet."
"Okay." He agrees thoughtlessly once more, taking orders like you're his commanding officer, "Can you get me a hanger?"
You retrieve a metal one, so that it can be bent and warped to however he wants to fish the bug out. But his brain isn't functioning that intensively yet, and he merely swipes it behind the cabinet. To his credit, he pushes it out and away from you, but all he does is displace the creature, not capture it.
You let out a mangled sound, something between a gasp and a cry. The bug scuttles away from you at first, but then to your horror, rounds on you, like it knows you're the one who snitched on it.
"Ew- I- Bradley!" You gush, already backing away from the doorway that it's charging. He's finally more awake now, and though you'd have liked to merely set the thing outside, you're not upset when Bradley crunches it with the bottom of his slipper.
He breathes a heavy sigh of relief when it's trapped beneath his foot, and you try to calm your racing heart.
"You okay, honey?" He asks, and you nod disjointedly.
"That was scary," You note, and he hums in agreement.
"He's gone now. I'll clean him up." He grimaces slightly at the mess under his shoe, "Can I have some wipes?"
Bradley doesn't make you move the bug's corpse, just scoops it up into a bleach wipe and scrubs down the floor. You watch with a perpetually nervous expression, even though the threat has been neutralized.
"All gone." Bradley reports, the bleach wipes falling sadly into the garbage can. You nod, gratefully accepting the embrace that he tugs you into, leaning into the kiss that he smushes against your forehead.
"Why were you up so early?" He asks, some of that sleepy fog still thickening his voice.
"I wanted to make you breakfast in bed," You admit, and you feel him chuckle against you.
"Should I go get back in bed?" He asks.
"I think I want you to stay," You fret, holding the end of his too-long sleeve, "But I won't make you cook. You just have to be on bug patrol."
"Bug patrol," He echoes curiously, testing the title on his tongue. He seems to approve, leaning in with a smug smile on his face to peck at your lips, "That's me, honey."

ask game — prompt from this request
“you kiss your mother with that mouth?”
there’s an extra thump in gojo’s heartbeat.
his hands are sweaty even though he’s swiped his palms along his jeans a million times. he feels light headed, perhaps due to the sun peeking through the train window, and his thoughts are playing bumper cars inside his skull.
his mouth is dry, his body is begging him to relax his stiff posture, and he’s nervous. too much blood is rushing to his brain and not enough air is entering his lungs. he thinks he might need some water, but he's worried that if he tries drinking it'll just dribble down his chin.
you sleep peacefully through his panic.
the gentle rumble of wheels along rails lulls you into a shallow sleep, not the kind that has you wishing for a deeper slumber, but just enough rest for your heart to slow and your breathing to deepen.
your pillow is soft. it’s sturdy against your cheek and smells really, really nice, like fresh laundry hung out under the summer sun. it’s also warm, which is an obvious bonus. you snuggle into the heat, exhaling softly when you’re comfortable.
a sudden incline of the train track makes the carriage jolt, and your eyes widen at the shift in gravity.
“what’s happening?” your words slur together as you lift your head from your pillow to survey your surroundings.
you find gojo sitting beside you, oddly rigid and close by.
“why is your shoulder next to my head?”
gojo clears his throat, his eyes darting to you then away. “no reason.”
accepting his answer, you yawn and stretch your arms above your head. your hands collide with the compartment above and you’re once again reminded of where you were.
“when’s the train arriving?” you ask.
gojo flips his phone around to check the time. “you were asleep for forty minutes, so we still have an hour to go.”
“an hour? that long?”
“that’s why i said you should have let me warp us there instead.”
“i’d rather die.” you immediately decline. “last time i let you teleport us to the mission site, we ended up in california.”
“california is a great place!”
“our mission was in finland.”
gojo huffs, crossing his arms over his chest. the gesture blocks you off and you know he is sulking.
it's clear your words have wedged its way deep into gojo's heart, leaving a wound that'll only grow and become infected if you don't soothe him with flattery. “maybe next time, okay? sometime after you’ve mastered your technique which, i'm sure won't take long since you've always been so competent.”
he remains quiet, but you can almost see his ears perk towards you.
"the most competent out of the lot of us!"
he shifts closer, though his arms are still crossed at his front.
"throughout heaven and earth, you alone are the competent one?"
he finally turns over to you, loosening his posture. there's still doubt in his eyes but it is as expected; dealing with a sulky gojo was never going to be easy. “if you don’t trust me, you can just say that.” he pouts.
“okay, i don’t trust you.”
he tilts his body further away from you.
you're quick to reach over and hook your hand under his arm, pulling it towards you in hopes that he'll face you once again. you made a mistake, a slight slip of the tongue and now your progress had been reset. "my bad! but seriously, aren't you tired of playing the victim all the time?"
"excuse me?"
"i mean." you bite your lip, sealing away any more harsh remarks that might leave your mouth unintentionally. "you... are crazy cool! you're the best, gojo. i deeply apologise for my words earlier."
his mouth hangs open. "i think the one who's crazy is you. how do you always find something to complain about?"
"you're telling that to me? as if you weren't treating this entire train ride like your own personal therapy session. i did not need to know how much you struggled on the toilet this morning."
"it's a sign of being unhealthy! that's a very big concern!"
"one that you can bring up with shoko, not me." you easily deflect. "i could not care less about your health even if i tried."
"you are so mean."
you shrug. "i think you're just being a pissy boy."
"you kiss your mother with that mouth?" he asks. "and she lets you? even though her child is a mean, spiteful, terrible person?"
he doesn't appreciate how his eyes flicker down to your lips at the mention, suddenly growing conscious of how he had begun to lean in during the heated conversation. you look none the different, face carved into your usual expression of disinterest.
it irks him.
wasn't it unfair how unfazed you seemed whilst he was running a marathon in his head? wasn't it simply annoying how much you looked like you were falling asleep again, even though his thoughts were held captive by the sight of you?
"where did you think my attitude comes from in the first place?" there's a lazy grin on your face that only makes gojo heat up even more—because it made him mad, not because it looked good on you, he tells himself.
"if you kissed me i wouldn't like it." he says, then immediately slaps a hand over his mouth.
you give him the strangest look you can muster. "sorry?"
"i mean, because, i'm saying i wouldn't like it because you are such a mean person. that's all i'm saying, there's nothing else i'm trying to tell you. you're a horrible person. that's what i meant." gojo splutters. "not because i want you to kiss me. that would be such a strange thing to say. which is why i wasn't saying that."
there's a silence that fills the carriage, broken only from the hum of the train. gojo thinks he can hear his brain explode in the absence of sound before you finally burst out into laughter.
"oh my god, gojo! i never thought you would be the type of person that gets flustered over something like talking about kissing." you say around your giggles, smothering them with your palm as you watch gojo grow red. "especially since you brought it up."
gojo hisses, turning away to rest his chin on his hand, elbow on the aisle armrest. he pointedly ignores your attempts to get him to face you. "me neither." he mumbles into his hand.
"it's kind of cute."
"shut up."
"you're getting redder!"
"ignore it."
you only quiet down when a few minutes passes, making snide remarks at his oddly still state before sighing in satisfaction. you check the time on your phone and note that there was still a long way to go before you arrived. placing it on silent, you tap gojo on the shoulder. "wake me up before the train gets to our stop, okay?"
he makes a noise that you take as agreement, considering that he won't bear to look at you, before adjusting yourself and closing your eyes.
the train ride is silent save for your silent snores and the internal monologue of gojo's breakdown. his body grows stiff when he feels a pressure on his shoulder.
looking over, he finds you using him as a pillow again.
the embarrassment of his earlier words and his slight realisation that you made him feel weird, made him feel warm and nervous all over, makes this action deadly. with his heart racing, he sighs and shifts around so that you were more comfortable. the gesture is appreciated, and you sigh softly in your sleep.
the sight of you is pure torture and gojo finds himself unable to chase sleep as easily as you do. he stays awake until the train halts at the station, ignoring your question on why he looked so tired.
i'll write the other requests tmrw !! i'm sorry that this doesn't rlly have much to do with the prompt but i think i'm starting to lose my mind

jak crawford x reader
the ring is perfect.
it's not too big, but loose enough to make it easy to twirl around around your finger with your thumb. it's more of a nervous habit than anything else, really; but jak still places his hand over yours to still your movements.
it's very simple, with a silver band and a few little gemstones along the edge. you haven't asked what they're made of; you know he can afford them with all of his racing money, but you really don't care if they're diamonds or glass shards. besides, a wildly expensive ring wouldn't really fit into this setting, anyway.
jak's thumb brushes over your knuckles, his eyes following the dressed-up lawyer running in through the front door looking more than mildly confused. a security officer shows him the right way to some courtroom, her voice drowned out by the wails of a toddler in the far corner of the waiting room. the mother of the child tries anything she can to cheer him up, bouncing him on her knee and singing songs and playing with his toy cars, as the bags under her eyes seem to grow deeper by the second. the father merely grunts beside her and scrolls further down the news article on his phone.
the noise level in the room is not objectively loud per se; you're just a little extra sensitive, you assume. but at the same time, you could probably fall asleep right here and now, lulled to a slumber by the ambient music flowing from the speakers. it's been a long night, to be fair – it's already nearing eight in the morning, meaning you've been up for over a day – but it had to be done.
your parents were thankfully fast asleep when jak arrived at your door some seven hours ago. you've never been good at sneaking around, but with parents who always sleep like the dead after a few drinks, you've never had any reason to. the actual packing and moving of all your personal belongings into jak's car wasn't that time-consuming, but the car ride back to his home in charlotte, north carolina, along with the waiting for the courthouse to finally open, took all night.
it all felt far too familiar. like jumping into his car when he picked you up from school, not caring that your parents were expecting you to go straight home; running away with him during the weekends, paying no mind to your parents' enforced house arrest; most importantly, spending time with that one boy they did never approve of.
but it was never quite this serious when you were younger.
you're still teenagers now, but it's so different. you're far more grown; far more mature than those little kids you were years ago when you still lived in charlotte, just a thirty minute drive away from jak, before your parents bought that house some 500 miles away. you feel like you're a completely new person – and yet, that little girl from all those years ago still blushes inside of you when you turn your head to meet jak's eyes.
"are you sure you want to go through with this?" he asks, eyes scanning yours for any kind of sign. "you seem... unsure."
you shake your head instantly. "i'm just tired."
tired of waiting, planning, stalling.
tired of being anything other than his.
he gives you a quick nod, his hand squeezing yours, his own wedding band cool against the back of your hand.
jak bought your ring months ago but never found a good time to give it to you.
what time could be better to propose than the night your girlfriend is escaping from her parents without as much as a note to say goodbye?
you said yes, of course; there's nothing you'd rather do than spend the rest of your life with him. he had hoped for that answer, but he had not expected you to suggest getting married right away. but here and now, nothing feels more right.
maybe the wedding itself isn't that big of a deal, but you both know your feelings are.
"i always expected them to be here, you know?"
your voice breaks the thickening silence that's filled the room since the family in the corner left. you rest your head on jak's shoulder and he hums, a sign for you to go on.
"like, not actually here, but... at my wedding." you intertwine your fingers with his, unable to suppress your sigh. "in some twisted way, i assumed we would have gotten better by then, and that they would want to be here."
despite everything that's happened, you can't blame your parents too much. you get it, you really do; they wanted a certain life for you. a good life, one where they had gotten to plan out every little detail with great care.
unfortunately, that wasn't the life you wanted for yourself.
they gave up so much to move to the america they had seen in the movies; the home of the brave, the land of the free. not the america that would surely but slowly tear their family apart, if even just by giving their daughter a small taste of freedom.
that intoxicating drug. even a tiny bit was enough to make you realize how free you can be, and how stupid you would be to want anything else.
"maybe... one day, they will want to be here," jak answers, turning his head to let his lips meet the top of your head. "then we could have a ceremony with them."
that silence from before appears again, but for some reason, your heart flutters at the meaning behind the words. "you sure have good imagination, crawford."
someone calls out your names, and the sound of your parents' surname already stings a bit. jak has been calling you "mrs. crawford" for half a day now, so anything else already sounds unnatural.
and maybe because in reality, you've always been, and always will be, mrs. crawford.
you both rise to your feet and walk hand-in-hand into your new life.
the start of forever.
"neither of us had a lot of time to write these vows, but... here we go... this ring around my finger... it could just as well be made of paper or string. its true worth doesn't lie in its material, but in the love it represents. i would still wear it until i die, just like i will be by your side until i give in to death. you've always been mine, and now what's mine is yours. i offer you everything i am. our relationship may not fit into the conventional molds or follow the traditional paths, but it's ours, and i wouldn't change a single moment of our journey together."

Is our lumberjack nervous to be a dad?
A little bit, nonnie.
Prepping the Nursery
Pairing: Lumberjack!Steve Rogers x Female Reader
Summary: Steve reflects as he readies the nursery.
Word Count: Almost 900
Warnings: Fluff, ki-ssing pregnancy, slight feels (it's me), canon divergent, Steve Rogers (he's a warning, okay?).
A/N: Set in Into the Woods AU. ❤️ Not beta read and written on my phone, so any and all mistakes are my own. Divider by @firefly-graphics . Please follow @navybrat817-sideblog for new fics and notifications. Comments, reblogs, feedback are loved and appreciated!
It was a warm and sunny day when Steve decided to paint the nursery. After testing a few colors and picking a theme, he wanted to get to work. You wanted to help, of course. He requested that you wore a mask, even though he had the window open the fumes wouldn't overwhelm you. He also asked you not to climb on the ladder.
"Hope you don't mind me using this," you said, putting on one of his old shirts before you joined him. You didn't button it though, keeping your bump exposed.
Still look better in my shirts than I ever do.
"Don't mind at all. Just stay off the ladder. That's an order," he half teased.
"You do remember I'm a perfectly capable human being who can take care of herself. I had a whole career as a writer before I met you and still do," you teased softly, observing one of the walls. He knew the room was going to be beautiful. "Between you and Bucky, I swear."
"Between the two of us, what?" he asked.
Bucky already proclaimed himself as an "uncle" and expected Steve to be the same to his baby. He couldn't believe both of you got pregnant around the same time. Maybe fate was trying to give them more of the happiness they deserved.
"The baby proofing. The restrictions. It's just a shock you don't have bubble wrap around me."
The sheepish smile on his face along with his mumbled apology made you laugh away your exasperated expression. You insisted on sticking with your routine, even on your tired days, and you wouldn't push yourself more than necessary. It was in his nature though to be protective of those he cared about. You were no exception and neither was your precious cargo. And if anything happened to you or your baby, he'd-
"Steve?" you asked.
He didn't answer as he set his paintbrush down and guided his hand to your stomach. He'd never forget the pure, unbridled joy he felt when he learned he was going to be a father. He may have shed a happy tear once he wore you out with celebration sex. It was a dream come true.
There was also an exposure of fear when all he wanted to do was wrap himself around you and keep you both safe from harm. Physically, he was now more than strong enough to keep you both safe. But with the ailments he had from his childhood, would any of those pass on? Would the serum wipe those chances out?
He just wanted his baby to be healthy.
You had enough to worry about being attached to the former Captain America. It made it easier to walk away from missions completely for the time being with a baby on the way. He had seen enough of the horrors of the world and felt the blood on his hands. He didn't want that on his doorstep.
"Steve," you said again, your eyes filled with understanding. "I'm teasing you, okay? If it makes you feel better to keep an extra eye on me within reason or be a little protective, that's more than fine."
You weren't just saying that to placate him and that alone made him relax. "Thank you. I appreciate that," he said, kissing your temple.
One of the things Steve cherished about your relationship was the give and take. You didn't cave to his whims without a second thought and he didn't enforce rules just to stay in control. Balance and communication made your bond stronger.
"And, peanut, your mama really is a strong, perfectly capable human being. A brilliant writer and a loving woman," he smiled, rubbing your stomach. The best person he knew. "I just can't help myself and I'm very lucky she puts up with me."
"We're the lucky ones, Beefcake," you said, placing your hand over his. He knew you were smiling behind the mask.
"I just want to do right by both of you," he said.
He wanted to be a hero in both of your eyes by simply loving you.
"Peanut will hear all sorts of stories about you one day and wonder how he got so lucky to have you as a dad," you said. From the moment you found out you were pregnant, you thought you were having a boy and he wasn't going to argue with your instincts. "You'll be his whole world."
You two are my world.
"Not as lucky as he'll be to have you as a mom," he said, tugging the mask down to give you a proper kiss.
You moaned a little as his beard scraped against your face. "Are we going to get any painting done?"
"You come in here wearing my shirt and saying sweet things and you expect me not to take advantage of that?" he smirked, pulling you close by your hips.
"Oh, no you don't. You said I have to wear my mask," you teased, trying to cover your mouth again. "That was an order."
"Fuck the orders," he half growled, kissing you again.
The two of you eventually got the nursery painted and he couldn't have been prouder with how it turned out. The room represented love and a new beginning. And he couldn't wait for the day his baby made his home complete.
Steve and Bucky will both be amazing fathers. Love and thanks for reading! ❤️

"Merry Christmas, You Filthy Animal."
Happy holidays to @iristhepng, I'm your Secret Santa for the @gtafest exchange.
There was a reason Niko was the designated driver for his loved ones. Inside of Packie’s damned red Comet, two men roared down the streets of Liberty.
His hand gripped the overhead handle, so tightly his knuckles were white. Niko felt his back crack as Packie turned harshly yet again. The tires squealed as they struggled to make traction on the wet road. Snow was falling, barely enough to stick to the ground, but enough to get the ground slippery. Liberty Rock Radio was blasting; something by Mötley Crue, and Packie loved it. He whooped and parked the car in Star Junction. He had a huge smile on his face, a rare treat. Niko finally let go of the handle, gripping his chest as he took a deep breath.
And Niko thought he was a questionable driver, fuck.
“Only place open on Christmas is Cluckin' Bell, Niko. You in the mood for that?” Packie asked, looking in Niko’s direction. He turned the radio down and buttoned up his coat, ready for a Christmas walk around Star Junction.
“Sure. Maybe I should drive us home, though?”
“If you wanna. Just don’t crash my Comet. I spent my hard-earned cash on this, don’t want some Slav totaling it so soon,” Packie said, patting the steering wheel of his car. Niko rolled his eyes… This was Packie’s big purchase after the bank robbery. A brand new red Comet. Niko would never understand the American obsession with flashy cars. His favorite cars were ones with low gas mileage, cheap to fix, and simple to hotwire in a pinch.
“I won’t crash.”
“How am I supposed to trust ya, though? You don’t have a license.” Packie tried to hold the car door open, but Niko wasn’t having any of that. He shook his head and got out of the Comet by himself.
“And you do. Enough said.”
“Can’t argue with you there, Niko-boy. Fuck me, it is cold…” Packie blew onto his hand, in a futile attempt to warm them. The other man grabbed his hand, not allowing time for doubt or hesitation. Niko knew how shy Patrick could be about the softer side of their relationship. He often insisted they weren’t even a real couple, just friends with benefits.
That would only be true if the benefits stretched to include pizza dinner dates at Niko’s penthouse, or romantic walks around Meadows Park. Not that Niko didn’t see those as benefits… but he would never do that with a fling. Or even a friend. Nor would he do this with a friend. Holding hands while walking around Star Junction.
“This place has changed a lot since I was a kid. Used to feel…realer, I guess,” Packie said, speaking in a quieter voice, looking at the painfully bright advertisements. The snow almost made the screens harsher to look at, the colors bleeding into Niko and Packie’s eyes, “Now it’s a fucking playground. Fake. And I heard they’re making it pedestrian-only soon. Fuck that.”
Niko nodded along. He didn’t care much for Star Junction, one way or another, but Packie clearly had some nostalgia for it. This was his home, after all, “Really? Why is that?”
“Hell if I know. Change the city some more, why don’t they? Maybe next, they’ll replace the grass in Middle Park with astroturf. Go all in on the fakeness.”
Niko stayed silent, and simply nodded along with Packie’s complaints. The two entered the Cluckin Bell and ordered two Fowlburgers. It tasted like chemicals and shame like it always did.
“Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, these things suck ass,” Packie stated firmly, chewing with his mouth open. He hardly even realized he was doing it, manners were never his strong suit, “But with you, it almost tastes good.”
“They do. I think that is just the extra Christmas chemicals they put in.”
“Damn right.”
They finished eating and returned to the cold, harsh outside. Packie stole Niko’s hand this time, neither commenting on the action. He led the way, past the red Comet, and further up the sidewalk. His lips were pursed, nervous, as he walked with Niko.
“Patrick, where are you taking me?” Niko queried, with a small grin growing on his lips, “You passed the car.”
“I know that! Just follow me. I, uh, want to show you… somethin’.”
Niko watched the shorter man walk swiftly. The wind blew directly in their faces, the snow in their eyes. Packie heaved onward and stopped at a small store. A small, decorative version of the Nativity scene, the kind both Niko and Packie had seen many times before. This one was not spectacular, or noteworthy at all.
“This is it?”
“Yeah. I’m an artist, Niko, I see things different.”
Niko coughed, shocked at both the man’s words and behavior, “You have never called yourself an artist before. What is it, Packie? Is this your way of asking if you can come to my apartment?”
Packie looked on, then away, like Niko had caught him in the act. So that was it. He wanted more time with his boyfriend, not wanting to return home to the chaos and vitriol that was waiting for him. Packie had skipped Christmas Mass and dinner to even be here with Niko; no doubt his mother was waiting back in Dukes to give him a long lecture about the importance of church, family, and Christ.
“You could have asked. Let’s go back to the car, warm up a bit.”
“Sorry. You know I suck at askin’ for shit,” Packie mumbled, walking swiftly with Niko back to the car. The wind was at their backs, this time, “Didn’t wanna get in the way of your Christmas. I thought you and Roman were gonna do shit together.”
“No,” he stated simply, “Roman is with Mallorie’s family. You know I don’t mind having you over, Patrick.”
“Yeah, but…” Packie groaned, “Fuck you. You’re too nice to me, damn prince, how am I supposed to act around ya?”
“Like yourself. How else?”
Packie had nothing to say to that, and nothing to say at all until the two returned to Niko’s Algonquin apartment. It was warm inside, and somewhat decorated. Roman had insisted on a Christmas tree, despite Niko’s protests that once it was put up, neither cousin would remember to take it down after the holiday season. The colorful fairy lights set the mood well.
“Nice tree, Niko,” Packie commented, taking his jacket off. He made himself comfortable on Niko’s couch.
“I don’t understand how your mother puts up so many decorations. I was sick of them after just putting this tree up with Roman.” Niko sat next to Packie.
“Ha, she usually makes us do it. Says it’s good for family bonding. Like us kids at home can get more fucking bonded,” Packie rolled his eyes, “Derrick didn’t show, shocker, I know. He’s done nothing but break Ma’s heart since 1988.”
“Still getting high on park benches?” Niko asked, always curious about Packie’s family.
“Who the fuck knows. He doesn’t even answer my damn calls anymore.”
Niko nodded. Finally more comfortable on the couch, he wrapped an arm around Packie. Packie’s eyebrows tilted, anxiety-ridden, as he did the same.
“You don’t gotta do all this…fruity shit with me, Niko. The touching and kissing, I mean. I don’t expect it from you,” Packie explained, “I’d almost prefer it if you didn’t. Then it’d be less real. This ain’t supposed to be real.”
Niko observed him. Tried to get a read on what Patrick was thinking.
“I ain’t gay. Or, or maybe I fucking am! I’m so damn confused, about this, about everything! Fuck!” Packie yelled, irate at himself. He leaned on Niko, wanted his comfort, even if the desire was subconscious.
Niko was one to give him that comfort. He rubbed Packie’s shoulder, pulling him closer. Packie looked away, frustrated.
“I know you are confused. You’ve told me before,” he said, sounding tired, “I don’t have the answers you’re looking for, Patrick.”
“Of course you don’t. It ain’t ever that simple…” Packie leaned onto Niko. Their whole bodies were pressed up on each other, now. Niko nodded, picked up the remote, and flicked his television on. Neither felt like conversing at the moment, and the sounds of obnoxious commercials and a young Macaulay Culkin attempting to murder two bulgers filled the silence well.
“Is this a Christmas movie?” Niko questioned, not having seen many Christmas movies before. Especially not one that seemed strangely violent.
“Yeah. Home Alone,” Packie explained, looking a bit less frustrated, “Was always the only Christmas movie I could stand, ‘cause the kid is so violent. Every other one is too sappy and full of shit for me.”
“I could see you doing something similar as a child,” Niko said, smiling a bit. Packie chuckled, finally calming down and closing his eyes. He reached into the pocket of his jeans and pulled out a small box.
“I got you a gift. For Christmas,” Packie mumbled, handing Niko the box, “Take it before I change my mind.”
Packie looked embarrassed. The color in his cheeks darkened to pink, and his eyes darted away from Niko. Whatever the gift was, it was poorly wrapped. The other man was shocked, Packie had never mentioned exchanging presents before.
“I didn’t know you would buy me something,” Niko said, smiling a little as he took it.
“Yeah. It’s a surprise, numb nuts, just fuckin’ take it.”
Niko rolled his eyes, ripped off the paper, and opened the box. It was a Swiss Army knife, small and practical. He couldn’t help but smile a little. An actual thoughtful gift was the last thing Niko was expecting, but…
“Do you like it?” Packie asked, a bit nervous, “I thought someone like you would appreciate that sorta thing. I know I do.”
“Yes, I do. Thank you.”
“Don’t mention it.”
The couple made eye contact. That only lasted a few seconds before their lips smashed together. Packie was aggressive as always. His hands wandered to Niko’s shoulders, gripping tight. Niko groaned and pulled back after a moment. Packie had a cheeky grin on his face.
“You kiss like you want to suck my tongue out.”
“Yeah, and I’m amazing at it, ain’t I?” Packie said, smirking cockily.
Niko rolled his eyes, and kissed Patrick again, smiling into it. He kept it gentle, or he tried to. Packie pulled back this time, groaning.
“You kiss like a fucking queer.”
Niko didn’t respond to that accusation. They just looked into each other's eyes, a certain tenderness to the look. Packie had no more quips. He stayed quiet, for once, simply contemplating. He frowned, and hugged Niko, his head resting on the crook of the man’s neck.
“Merry Christmas. Don’t know if I’ve said that yet today,” Packie’s voice was softer than usual. Sincere in its meaning.
“Merry Christmas, Patrick.”

Wish Granted 🌟👩🏾🎶 (Wish Reimagined)
Chapter 11: (Not So) Jolly Holiday 🐮🐎🐔
Chapter 10
✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨
We cut to the next morning, where Rosas seems to be returning to mostly normal. The center of the city looks to be back in its former state before Star had charged through the place. The town looks more crowded than usual.
Going to Gabo's hidden shelter, we see Asha had fallen asleep on the mattress, with Valentino snoozing by her feet. The little goat yawned as he stretched his little legs so he could start the new day. Val looked around and noticed the room was unusually quiet.
Valentino leaped onto the other side of the mattress and nudged Asha's arm, but she remained asleep, still holding the newly fixed pencil in her hand. He then walked over to her head and nuzzled her ear, hoping that would do the trick.
Asha's began to shift slightly, but her eyes were still closed. Still half asleep, she tried to shoo the feeling away. "Stop that, we can do that later..." she answered in a groggy voice.
Valentino didn't want to hear anymore of her sleep talking, so he made a rather childish move and licked her ear.
That did the trick. Asha bolted right up and grabbed her left ear. "I don't remember asking for a gross wake up call, Val." she grumbled as she rolled her eyes at the goat.
Valentino snickered and hopped down from the mattress.
Asha yawned and took a stretch. She had been so busy drawing up the next plan to get the wishes, she must've fallen asleep. Before then, the new little team had decided to work together (at least temporarily) to quietly return the wishes. Simon would look for Flazino and gain extra help while Gabo kept an eye out for the king and queen and let Asha and Star know when it was safe to leave.
She figured Simon and Gabo had gone back home until the next day, but didn't know where Star was when she looked around the room. Asha had offered to share her space with Star for the night, but he nervously insisted he'd be more comfortable on the wooden floor. She did wonder why he was shinning so brightly when she offered...
Valentino bleated as he gestured over to the far corner of the other side of the room.
Asha looked over and saw a large glowing dog lying down in the corner with his eyes closed. Now she remembered; When Gabo and Simon had left in the evening, Star stayed with her since he would draw too much attention now. Not to mention that anyone could notify the guards the minute they saw something unusual.
Star's ear perked up as he heard Asha approaching. He opened his eyes and tail started to wag. "Oh good, you're awake! I guess you got a great new plan for us to save those wishes?" he asked, stretching his legs.
"You'd guess right. Once Gabo comes back, we can..." Asha's voice trailed off when she noticed a small area on his shoulder was a dark green. She remembered Magnifico stabbed him there yesterday, but she assumed that it had healed by now.
Asha was going to ask about it until he instantly turned back into his human form.
"You sure sleep a while. I ended up talking to Val here for a few hours until he got tired too." He kneeled down and affectionately rubbed the top of Valentino head. The goat bleated happily.
"Well, I'm glad that— Wait, stars sleep?" Asha asked curiously.
"Oh yeah! Just not as long as humans, though. Yesterday took a lot out of me, I had to sleep an entire hour!"
Asha had to put her several questions about how did that even work like that, but their conversation was cut short when they heard a knock at the door. Gabo's voice immediately followed.
"You guys awake? If you are, please me tell you're not-"
"No, Gabo. Just get in here." Asha sighed in frustration. For some reason this guy thought something weird was happening every time he left them alone.
Gabo quickly entered the room, looked around to make sure he wasn't followed and shut the door behind him. "All right, I got some good news and I got some bad news." His face looked nervous.
Asha braced herself. "What news?"
Gabo straightened up. "Good news is that Simon found where Flazino is!"
"Where'd he find him?"
Gabo winced a little bit as he twisted his hat in his hands. "Wellll....that's the bad news. The thing is, we gotta leave here, like right now. There's tons of guards spread across Rosas. They're looking for you and they're knocking on people's doors to find out if anyone is hiding you and starboy here. They could check this place at any time and I really don't want to be thrown in the dungeon!"
"You know, I wish those two had better things to do than come after us..." Star chuckled, trying to ease the tension.
Asha could feel herself tensing up. It felt like just when she thought she was getting ahead of the royals, they turn out to be two steps ahead of her. She turned to Star and grabbed his shoulders.
"Listen to me, Star. The minute I give you the word, you have to change yourself into something small so they don't see you. Do you understand? I can't let them get you." Her voice was strict, but Star could feel the fear that she attempted to hide in it.
Star gave her a nod. "You got it."
The four of them quickly left Gabo's hideout and saw Simon outside waiting for them. The sleepy teen instructed them to stay close together and avoid looking suspicious. Star and Ashamed had put back on their cloaks, only this time they hoods needed to cover their faces more so than before. More eyes would be looking for them now.
Once they were a safe distance from the hideout, Asha pulled on Simon's baggy sleeve. "Okay, tell me what happened with Flazino."
"When I realized that he never woke me up early for my knight training-had to get an earful from dad-I checked the middle of the town in case he was on tour guide duty. He wasn't there either."
"Might want to speed this up, pal. Guards on duty, remember?" Gabo reminded him as he looked around and gripped the dagger on his belt.
"I went to see if he was home, and his parents acted like I was crazy. They said they didn't even have a son. Its like they forgot he existed. I overheard from one of the guards that Flazino was sent to a dungeon." Simon finished. The group turned a corner and could see way more guards were present in the town than usual.
"I knew there was a dungeon here!" Gabo quietly whispered gleefully. He waa having quite a good time being right lately.
Asha's heart sank. Magnifico had the power to change memories? Even ones of people they've known their whole lives? This was getting more and more dangerous by the hour. She started to believe that even the four of them wouldn't be enough against two powerful sorcerers.
Her thoughts were interrupted when she noticed out of the corner of her eye, she saw Star waved to a couple of girls who were passing by. The girls giggled and waved back at him.
Asha grabbed the back of his hood. "Star, change now."
Star was startled. "Already? We just got out here!"
"Now, Star." she insisted, with more force.
The star didn't argue, he made sure he wasn't seen, and with a small flash, he turned into a little yellow mouse. He was still buried under the cloak and finally poked his head out. "A little help here?" he squeaked.
(Finally got to use this cute concept! Look at him!)
Asha gently picked him up and placed him in the inside of her own cloak. The now rodent star made himself comfortable. "Actually, this isn't so bad. I've never been carried before!" he squeaked.
Asha looked around, and felt something else was off. "If all these guards are here, then where's the king and queen?" Not that she wasn't relieved they weren't around, but it seemed suspicious considering they want the attention of the people every other hour.
"Probably up in their big fancy tower making sure the king's hair doesn't look out of place." Gabo joked.
"Its more because of tonight's wish ceremony. This is the first time they haven't announced themselves in the morning. Or maybe they did, I...haven't gotten much sleep lately." Simon guessed as he rubbed his tired eyes.
"Don't know you know sarcasm when you hear it?" Gabo rolled his eyes.
"I still don't!" Star chimed in.
Carefully walking through the town, the group avoided the sight of the guards. There were even more citizens out this time, all abuzz about the big ceremony tonight. Asha noticed a lot of the adults looked as tired as Simon. Much older ones looked sad or slightly sick like her grandfather, she started to question if they had a connection after their wishes were taken. Still, they didn't stop bustling around in preparation.
Simon led them down a hall near the kitchen. "I know someone who can help us since Flazino's gone. She personally delivers the food to the king."
Asha raised an eyebrow. "How could someone like....wait, don't tell me its-"
"Dahlia! Over here, I need to talk to you!" Simon waved over to a girl dressed in red.
"Be there in just a sec!" she called as she was carefully putting in a tray of spinach puffs oven.
Oh no, there's was no way Asha was going through this. At least at this moment. She had to find a quick excuse to get away and think...
"Can you guys wait here? I don't think Dahlia is ready to meet 'you-know-who' just yet. I'll find somewhere safe to hide him." she hurried herself away before either of the boys could say anything.
When she left, Mouse!Star poked his head out from the hood. "Hey, where are we going?"
"I need to get you somewhere where the guard's won't think to look. At least until we can get away from Dahlia." Asha whispered to Mouse!Star as she looked for a temporary hiding spot.
"Isn't she your friend? Don't you want to talk to her a little bit?" He asked concerned.
"At one point, yes. But that was when we were kids. Now she's been wooed by Magnifico. How do I know if I can even trust her?"
"Well, I know if we got separated for a long time. I would want to talk to you the first chance I got. And I trust you more than anyone."
(*coughcough*)
The girl paused. She hadn't thought about it like that. Asha had very faint memories of Dahlia because of Magnifico practically destroying any good parts of her childhood. Maybe Dahlia did want to reconnect and she was being harsh? Asha felt selfish for thinking of her as a bad guy off the bat. After all, she trusted Star after one musical number.
Asha went to the first door she saw and carefully opened the door. Inside, some of the kingdom's livestock sleeping soundly inside. Perfect. She gently put Valentino and Star down inside.
"Okay, stay right here and don't make a lot of noise. I'll come back when its safe. Valentino, you're in charge for now.'" Asha instructed.
The goat bleated in confirmation, happy to be in charge.
"How long are you gonna be gone?" Star hesitated.
"Not long. Just stay quiet....It should be easy, now that you're in the right form for it." Asha slyly smirked before closing the door.
"Thank you!" Star beamed, then realized what she said. "Oh...she's getting good at doing that. Hehehe." He chuckled to himself.
Asha sighed in relief. Both of them should be safe in there for time being. As she made her way back to Gabo and Simon, she realized that it was a lot quieter without Star being with her. Normally, Asha preferred when she was by herself (or at the very least, Valentino accompanied her) when she was in the Hamlet. Why did it feel strange without him now?
The girl braced herself as she finally joined the others again in the kitchen. Dahlia looked surprised to see her. "Asha! Where have you been? You had me worried after the royals said you were a criminal!"
"Yeah, I've been called that a lot lately..." Asha sighed. "Look, whatever they told you isn't true."
Dahlia placed a hand on Asha's shoulder. "Of course I know you aren't a criminal. I mean what harm could you possibly do?"
Asha, Gabo and Simon exchanged a nervous glance.
"Heck, Flazino even told me this crazy story that the royals are evil and their basically stealing our souls through the wishes!" She let out a laugh as she adjusted her glasses. "Which reminds me, have any of you seen Flazi today? Its been all morning and he hasn't stopped by once. Poor guy looks he needs some sleep."
"Ha! Like Simon here! Guess you guys are more alike than you thought!" Gabo teased as he lightly jabbed Simon with his elbow.
Simon looked half asleep, so he probably didn't even hear him.
"Yeaaaah...that's something we need to talk to you about." Asha tried to get the conversation back on track. She decided to take a chance and tell her the truth. "That's not a story he was telling."
Dahlia's smile faded away as she took a step back. "....What?"
Back in the coop, Valentino made himself comfortable in a pile of hay nearby.
Mouse!Star however was growing a little restless. It wasn't natural for him to just stay in one place for so long, but he could only scurry for so long in there before boredom hit him. He needed to do something keep himself from worrying about Asha.
"Maybe a mouse wasn't such a good idea. What if that lynx comes in eats us?" Star looked around, now slightly panicked.
The goat bleated in reassurance that they would be fine. He suggested the star turn into something else that doesn't stand out.
Valentino gestured to a nearby rooster preening its feathers. Star took a good look and nodded.
In a bright flash, Star had turned himself into a golden phoenix rooster. It was a lot more flashy than he was supposed to be, but he at least got the animal right.
(Yes, I did pick a golden rooster on purpose)
"See? I can blend in easily! We'll just sit here and wait for Asha and other the others." Star assured the goat with a feathered boop on his snout.
"Baaaah....?" Valentino questioned as he took in a mouth full of hay.
"How could I possibly get in trouble here? I don't even know what chickens do." Star responded as he strutted over to a nice pile of straw and made his own nest.
Valentino rolled his eyes. "Baah, Baaaah!"
"THE EGGS COME FROM WHERE??" Star squawked in horror, rattling the other chickens in the room.
The noise unintentionally startled the once asleep animals, causing a minor commotion amongst the poultry and started to awaken the cows. The chickens noticed these new animals were in their home. Valentino was fine, even though he was a little spooked himself.
But Rooster!Star seemed to attract the most attention, as their fear turned into intrigue.
"Hey, hey. Calm down, I'm just your average glowing rooster." He chuckled nervously as he realized he attracted an audience.
One of the chickens inspected Star for a few seconds, then made a happy cooing noise and nuzzled his feather wings with her head.
"See? Told you it wouldn't be a problem." He suddenly noticed that more of them were beginning to gather near him. "Um, should they all be doing this?"
Valentino began to laugh. "Baaaaahh!!" He could barely hold in his laughter.
"WHAT?! Nonononono!!" Rooster!Star started to flap away from the lovestruck birds. "I'm sorry ladies, but I'm not what you think I am!"
Outside, we see Safi carrying an egg basket, preparing to get his daily egg count. He stops just short of opening the door when he's startled by a loud noise. Safi felt a sneeze coming on, and when he felt a sneeze coming, it meant something bad was about to happen.
The other side of the door sounded like something was upsetting the animals, and whatever it is was very loud.
Safi opened the door and saw Rooster!Star getting pecked in the head mercilessly by another rooster taking residence there. It seemed that it felt threatened by another bird taking his territory and attacked him. Star however, had no idea and kept running around trying to escape.
"What's going on here? Why are two you fighting? AAAACHOO!" Safi questioned as he stopped the rooster from assaulting the star further. He picked up both of them in each hand. "I thought you all were getting-"
"He started it!" Rooster!Star exclaimed as he pointed at the angry bird. "I was trying to get away from the others and....he...attacked..." Star's voice faded once he saw Safi's eyes grow wide as he stared back at him.
"Uh....I mean....Cluck?" Star shrugged and shined his teeth that shouldn't exist in his beak.
"AAAAAAAAHHHHH!!" Safi screamed as he fell backwards, causing the two roosters clumsily fly out of his hands. "DEMON ROOSTER!" he shouted, scrambling backwards in fear.
"Demon rooster?! Where?" Star exclaimed as he looked at the bird that attacked him earlier. Unfortunately, he believed this was why he went after him.
The two roosters looked atone another sqwaked in horror and flew away from each other.
Poor Safi couldn't run out of there fast enough as he grabbed the egg basket and slammed the door behind him.
All of the noise spooked the animals once again, with Valentino trying his best to calm everyone down, but it was futile. He gave Rooster!Star a sour look. "BAAAAHH!!" he shouted at him.
"Yeah, yeah, I know!" Star crowed and turned back to his human form. "I'm normally good with animals, well except for that lynx. But I don't know how to calm them down!"
"BAAAAAAAHHHH!!!" Valentino head butted Star's leg in anger.
"All right, all right!" Star started to rub his knuckle into forehead. "Think! Think! Think!" His eyes popped open. "Oh, I know!"
We cut to Hal walking past the group, carrying a few sacks of oats and whistling when she's stopped by a screaming Safi. "Is everything alright, man?"
Safi grabbed Hal by the shirt, "THERE'S SOMETHING EVIL POSSESSING MY CHICKENS! WE NEED TO EXPEL IT! AAACHOO!"
Hal looked at her friend with concern. "Safi, you really need stop visiting those chickens so much. You need a new hobby."
Safi tutted. "That's not important! Its yellow, its glowing and it talks! Its scaring the other animals and I'm pretty sure it put a curse on me!" he was on verge of crying.
Asha heard the frantic teen's cries and her eyes widened. He found Star.
"Look, Dahlia, I'd really love to tell you more, but we really need to go!" She pushed Gabo and Simon away as she tried to leave the conversation.
Unfortunately, Dahlia wasn't taking no for an answer. She stubbornly followed the three of them. "Look, I haven't seen you in years and I now you're running away again? I feel like you're avoiding me. Can you just tell me what's going on here?"
"Nope! Sorry! Need to go right now!" Asha was beginning get irritated. The three of them ran forward to the barn door, only to see Safi, Hal and Dario there.
Asha leaped in front of the door. "WAIT, YOU CAN'T GO IN THERE!"
"Where did you guys even come from?" Simon asked scratching his head.
"Safi's freaking out over some evil glowing chicken that's in there. I don't really get it, but I at least want to help a friend out." Hal explained.
"What about the tall guy?"
"I just wanna to see it up close. It sounds to cool to be evil!" Dario answered with a genuinely friendly smile.
Gabo pointed behind them. "Aaaaand.... what about her?"
Everyone turned and saw Bazeema suddenly behind Dario. Needless to say, a few of them were spooked. Safi ended up blushing now that she was there.
"I...um...just didn't...want to...see the poor thing-"
"Girl, would you please speak up?" Gabo sneered.
Asha took the opportunity to try and quickly see Star, but Dahlia finally caught up and grabbed her shoulder.
"What are you hiding, Asha? No more running away." Dahlia pressed on.
Asha groaned. This was getting more ridiculous by the minute.
"You better just tell them about 'you-know-who', Asha. This ain't gonna end well." Gabo replied, looking impatient.
"Well, the more people I tell, the less of a secret it is, Gabo..." Asha hissed. "Look, if I tell you, you all have to keep quiet, got it? A friend of mine is in there, and-"
"Is that what's scaring the animals and making all that noise? It better not be trying to take my chickens from me!" Safi said, raising the egg basket like was he about to bludgeon someone.
"What noises-"
THUMP! THUMP! THUMP! THUMP! 🐄
"Like that! AAACHOO!" Safi sneezed. "And it's making my allergies act up!"
"What is he doing in there?!" Gabo exclaimed, looking horribly confused.
🎶This might sink in in the morning🎶 🐮
🎶It's like your own origin story!🎶🐔
"There ya go! Move those hooves! Shake those feathers!" 🌟
"Its sounds like a party in there!" Dario said excitedly.
BAAAAAAAAA!!!! BAAAAAA!!! 🐐
"There shouldn't be any party!" Asha exclaimed.
"Move aside, Asha!" Gabo marched over to the barn door and kicked it with all his might.
When the door flung open, a cloud of yellow dust and feathers flew out, making Safi sneeze like crazy.
Asha's eyes widened with horror as she finally got a look inside.
The room was bathed in yellow and purple light as Star conducted the animals with his hands. "Now you're getting the hang of it! Altogether now!" He cheered as he floated in the air.
Safi's chicken's were line dancing on both sides of the room.
The cows were line stepping and bopping their heads in tune to the music of "I'm a Star".
A few of the pigs were gliding around the ceiling oinking away.
And Valentino was practically losing his mind as was jumping up and down trying to pull Star down by his cape, but he was out of reach.
🎶Ooh, you're a star!🎶
🎶Watch out, world, here you are (hey, hey)🎶
🎶You know who's lookin' sharp? (Who?)🎶
🎶You! You're a star!🎶
"Oh, sweet cheese and crackers..." Asha shuddered as she covered her eyes in embarrassment.
Star spread his arms wide and yellow sparkles and fireworks shot from his hands as he greeted them with a big grin. He didn't mean to make a big spectacle as Asha asked, but he couldn't help himself.
And it didn't help that the rest of the animals were posed behind him as if they were on a Broadway show with him.
It took a moment to realize what he had done as he looked at Asha with her face buried in her hands. He looked at the unexpected guests and simply said, "Uh....Hi!" 😁
The Teens stared at the star dumbfounded.
(I know this is from the storyboard, BUT THIS WAS WAY FUNNIER AND MORE EXPRESSIVE. I HAD TO USE IT!! 😂)
Hal finally spoke, "Yeeeeaaaahhhh....that's a big secret."
✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨
FINAL THOUGHTS
I'M BAAAAAACK! 😃 Its still the holiday season, but I'm still working hard on this story, and I gotta say its fun going back to these guys again! Now that we're slightly over the halfway point, things are gonna start coming together leading to the finale. Like now, we have all teens together as a group! I wanted to lead up to them all meeting each other, but in the most ridiculous way possible. And I confess that the original chicken dance scene was a little funny, just until they started shooting eggs out their asses and it went wrong. So I decided to revamp the scene and turn it into a joke with a purpose. I also wanted to show that Star isn't exactly perfect when it comes to his transformations, and his magical ways with animals has been slightly affected by losing a little bit of his magic. That will come back later, I promise.
AND SAFI SPEAKS! HE ACTUALLY SPEAKS! And it only took 11 chapters for him to have some lines! 😂 Now the tricky part here is to give EVERYONE lines and importance to the story, since everyone is needed for the final battle. As a bonus, I'll be including a lot of "Snow White and the Seven Dwarves" references now. I genuinely liked the concept itself, I just think the movie missed the chance to have 7-8 characters bounce off each other with banter. They pulled it off 101 years ago, and recently in the 7D, so there's no reason they couldn't have given them better dialogue and purpose besides existing. 😅
It'll be a while before the next chapter, but I hope you enjoy this one! Soon Star and Asha are gonna go through hell soon. (Sorry, guys)
Thanks for reading!

Hi 👋🏻 you generously offered to give me some fic recs once you're back home if I gave you some more details as to what I'm looking for. Basically, anything tedependent that's close to, around or after canon. Open to personal favourites that deviate from this, though. Thanks in advance. Seeing the tags made me so happy! ❤️
oughh sorry this took forever, long story short getting back home ended up being a 24 hour comically terrible disaster and then i was just. tired :( but HERE I AM NOW!!!!!!!!!YAY
okay! OKAY.
tedependent
near/around canon
i'm going to assume leaning away from nsfw since it wasn't specified
no preference towards complete/incomplete, but i tended for the former
let's start with a ⚡LIGHTNING ROUND⚡!
these are fics I think at least somewhat fit your description (not sure I'm a great judge of 'close to canon') that i don't have any extra commentary to add about (that's not a bad thing!) they're all good!
A Mighty Nice Shine by turingpatterns - oneshot (complete) (trent's daughter! cute fic!!)
For As Long As We Can by ShutUpGwen - longer fic (complete) (post-canon getting together, kinda)
All Publicity, as they say by JessJessTheBest - medium sized fic(?) (complete) (very cute and funny social media centered fic)
if music be the food of love, play on by literary_lesbian - medium sized fic (complete) (great author, mae pov deserves more love)
Take My Whole Life Too by ItsClydeBitches - oneshot (complete) (adorable valentines day fic)
it's nice to have you here by foxwatson - longer fic (incomplete) (excellent 'there's only one cottage' fic, not s3 compliant as it was written before s3)
Holding Pattern by Wildgoosery - oneshot (complete) (honestly worth it for the ending alone--not that the whole thing isnt' good)
Nothing’s as Easy as Riding a Bike When You Don’t Know How by r_n_g_are_dead - long fic (complete) (trent falls in looove)
closer to your request (i think)
richmond is for lovers by confessionofaking- series (complete)
[summary for the first fic in the two-fic series] “So you do laugh!” He heard himself shout. Trent blinked, and then he was standing. “But you don’t do it until page—,” he crossed the room and peered over Ted’s shoulder “forty-three? And it wasn’t even a big laugh! That was more of a loud nose breath,” he paused, trying to recall the proper word. “An exhale.” Ted put a halt to his nervous rambling in a matter of seconds. “Hey, Trent, look. I know folks are divided on the actual police these days, but all human beings are opposed to the laugh-police.” or, the 'laugh police' scene fix-it fic, except i made it worse.
notes: an eventual post-canon fix-it, as well as a fix-it for the "laugh police" scene. excellent fic, excellent author (HI CADE!!!! HI!!!!! ILY!!!!) i would also reccomend from him... well, any of his fics, but for a quick round-up of a few more sfw tedependent fics of his:
twist of fate
red light
i’ll catch you, darling
just can’t get enough (more nsfw in themes but very cute)
The Lasso Effect by earlybloomingparentheses - oneshot (complete; part two of a series)
Dating Ted Lasso is a wonderful thing. There are, however, certain downsides. For example, Trent no longer has control over when and where he smiles. He apparently cares about Roy Kent's opinion of him now. And he's been having the most ridiculous urge to tap dance. It's the Lasso Effect.
notes: there's several bits in this for trent's characterization that live in my brain rent free.
number four was always you by thefaceofno - long fic (complete)
Ted’s phone rings. He looks away from the window, where he was watching the tree sway in the wind, to see Beard’s face splashed over his phone screen. He thinks about not answering, but if he doesn’t answer then all he’ll have done today is run to CostCo for no reason. He doesn’t need eight pounds of almonds, but he has eight pounds of almonds. a.k.a. the post s3 fix-it where Ted does some intense mental healing.
notes: THE post-canon tedependent fix-it. excellent. please read it immediately.
constant as a northern star (constantly in the dark) by laiqualaurelote - medium sized fic (complete) (technically part of a series but this is standalone)
“I just met Ted Lasso,” Sachiko Crimm says bluntly when her ex-husband picks up. Trent is silent for a while. “And?” he says finally. Sachiko gives it five seconds, and then she bursts out laughing. “Stop it,” says Trent wearily.
notes: one of my favorite incarnations of trent's ex-wife ever. also always a sucker for pov outsider. also, excellent author, and you should absolutely read their post-apocalypse theater/shakespeare au. please.
nothing worth doing comes easy by pocky_slash - medium sized fic (incomplete)
First Ted Lasso is a joke, then Ted Lasso is a story, and then, suddenly--mortifyingly--Ted Lasso is something more. (Or: Trent doesn't want to be Ted's friend.)
notes: excellent, loving it, basically, to quote the author's note, "trent's deeply awkward gay spiral in the [s2] finale". however, word of warning: it is, tragically, unfinished.
Architecture With a Human Element by ItsClydeBitches - oneshot (complete)
“There has to be something,” Trent muttered, furiously scrolling through his feed. Each suggestion he found was debunked by the next post, with many parents swearing up and down that certain techniques made the whole thing worse. Trent stopped on a video of a mother taking scissors to her daughter’s curls and bit down on an actual sob building in the back of his throat. It was right before Trent let it fly that his mobile rang. Coach Ted Lasso (from America). Trent couldn’t say what possessed him to answer with his throat thick and his eyes prickling, but his traitorous hand had already swiped while his mouth said, “I have to shave my head.” Or: 5 times Ted got to touch Trent's hair and one time he returned the favor.
notes: losing my mind at the tenderness in this one. ough (positive)
time may change me by rockinhamburger - oneshot (complete) (part of a series)
Trent’s writing a book, so he’s in the room, generally, whilst [AFC Richmond’s magical season] fucking happens. These are the kinds of days when he curses single fatherhood. Trent debates whether he can just skip work for the day, but the West Ham match is a mere week away. Nothing else for it. “Mia, how would you like to come to work with me today?”
notes: very sweet, good series. this particular work is pre-relationship, but i love crimmlet so much, and their interactions with the team.
Independent by TheBasilRathbone - medium sized fic (complete)
Trent Crimm might only recently be an independent journalist, but he's had no one to rely on but himself for far, far longer. And most days, it feels like he's barely keeping it together. So it only seems fitting that the conclusion to the worst period of his life is for the whole thing to go up in literal flames. Luckily for Trent, help comes from a (not so) unexpected source.
notes: one of my favorite tedependent fics, not gonna lie. just. wow
some all-time favorites!
a man arrives on thursday by clementines_and_colorful_things - medium sized fic (complete)
The capture of a friend prompts notorious outlaw Ted Lasso to take on the crooked leadership of Nelson Road, Kansas, with his motley crew of castoffs, cowboys, and criminals. When English-born historian Trent Crimm finds himself unwillingly swept into the fast-paced world of Lasso and his outlaws, he gradually begins to unravel the enigmatic Ted Lasso’s complicated ties to Nelson Road’s most prominent players. Tensions run high as Ted evades arrest and plots the downfall of those who have wronged him, and Trent worries that Ted will meet the same abrupt end that most outlaws do: with a length of rope and a rather short drop. — A Ted Lasso Wild West AU
notes: a very good cowboy au from a very good author. not close to canon by any means, being a cowboy au, but very, very good nonetheless.
read our constellations by ShowMeAHero - long fic (complete) (series)
[summary of the first fic in a four fic ongoing series]
And Trent’s not a mess! He’s not. He’s got his life entirely together. He chose to reveal his source and give up his position with The Independent. He chose to start chasing book authorship as his new branch of his career tree. He chose his flat, and his car, and his life, down to the brands of tea he buys and the sorts of people he spends time with and the sheet sets he puts on his and Beatrice’s beds. He’s an adult man, for Christ’s sake. Of course, he’s got his life together. Everything is under his control, and it’s all fine. It’s entirely, completely, fully fine. Taking one last steadying breath, Trent opens his eyes and looks over the line of seven tests on the counter: the first he took a few hours ago, and the six he just took since. Each and every last one of them says he’s pregnant. Some have plus signs, some have two lines, some simply have the word pregnant. All of them may as well come together to form a little sign reading, Congratulations, Trent! You did it! You’ve finally made a goddamn bloody mess out of everything! Just wait until you have to tell Ted! Trent’s stomach turns for more reasons than one.
notes: what is there to say??? one of my favorite fics from one of my favorite authors. it does somewhat follow along canon, with a pretty obvious deviation of their relationship and trent (a trans man) getting pregnant. but i truly cannot recommend their fics enough. another lightning round of their more sfw tedependent fics:
to seek solace (exploration of trent and past abuse that makes me wanna bawl (positive))
you'll never walk alone (HEARTWRENCHING soulmate au, happy endings all around, i adore it)
you know (i love you so)
darling, i love you
come what may
birdhouse in your soul
#fic recs#fic rec#askbox#and youre welcome <3 im glad it made you happy#i probably--definitely--missed some but this was already al ot of recs so i think it's alright

Stranger's Hearts
Summary: Working at a restaurant as a waitress, you are bound to have cute customers every now and then, right? But so far, none has properly caught your eye before. Until recently...
Theme: waitress au, strangers to lovers
Genre: pure fluff
Warnings: mentions of alcohol
WC: 3.1k
Pairing: Hwang Hyunjin x Fem!Reader
a/n: Hello! I haven't been active due to many reasons but I'm back to share a new writing with you! Enjoy 🩵
It was a Saturday afternoon, you are working a full shift today to earn money for a lot of commitments. Like your rent, power bills, phone bills, water bills, groceries, school fees, etc. Being a university student isn’t easy but you aren't gonna give up just yet. Which is why you work a full shift on weekends to earn extra than what you get every other day due to working short hours after school. After serving the food orders to a table with a family of four, they thanked you for your good service before you left to continue with your work.
You went to the back room to take a short breath from running around for the past few hours. A fellow colleague of yours who is the senior waiter and team lead, Hyungwon, was just informing the chefs the new orders before clipping the paper to the string for the chefs to refer.
“Tired already?” Hyungwon teased you as he walked up to you with a smile on his face. Yes he’s your senior, but somehow, he’s very close to you and treats you with so much care as though you were his little sister. He is in fact 4 years older than you so that explains a lot.
“One of the tables is occupied by a group of girls who seem like they’re the kind to complain about the pasta being fusilli and not linguine…” You said with a huff, only for him to laugh.
“Still… They’re customers so all we can do is give them what they want.” Hyungwon said, giving you a soft pat to your shoulder before he left the kitchen. You didn’t wanna get caught slacking by your boss so you got up and left the kitchen to continue doing your job. You went over to a table near the window where a couple was sitting, so you could take their orders.
“Is there anything else?” You asked.
“No, thank you.” The woman said with a kind smile in which you happily returned.
“Alright then. Your order will be served soon.” You said as you turned to head back to the kitchen. Unfortunately, you turned a little too soon because it caused you to accidentally crash into someone who was walking past your back.
“Oh my gosh. I’m so sorry!” You said as the handsome guy simply smiled and shook his head.
“No worries. Are you okay?” He asked so you nodded. He then held out his hand, gesturing you to walk so you did. That’s when you heard a voice calling for the person standing behind you.
“Chan hyung!” The male with full cheeks waved in your direction as you glanced past your shoulder to find the guy you bumped into, giving a thumbs up. This slipped your mind as you went into the kitchen and delivered the order to the chefs. A few minutes ticked by and you were currently serving drinks to a table near the front entrance. When you turned back to head to the kitchen, you saw the guy from earlier raising his hand up in hopes that one of your friends would see him.
Lucky for him, you saw his hand raised. Hence, why you were now making your way to their table. As you got closer, you felt a little nervous seeing that their table is filled with 8 very good looking guys who look to be around your age. You tried to keep your professionalism in and smiled when you arrived at their table.
“Hello, are you ready to order?” You asked and the same guy from earlier smiled at you politely.
“Yes we are. Can I have one beef bolognese pasta with linguine and one coke please? What about you guys?” He then points to his friends as they go around the table giving you their orders. When you noticed there were just 7 food and drinks in total, you spoke up to make sure everyone had their orders in.
“There’s only 7 orders. Am I missing out on one?” You asked as their heads soon turned to the male sitting with his arms crossed on the table, head hanging low to burn a hole into the menu, looking as though he’s hiding under his cap.
“Hwang Hyunjin. Aren’t you the one who complained about being hungry just 10 minutes ago?” The one with a black fitting shirt said with a teasing smirk.
“Uh… I’ll um… I’ll get the um…” Hyunjin clears his throat as the one sitting opposite him with fairly long dark brown hair and feline eyes smirked at him to tease afterwards.
“Come on, Jinie… Don’t be shy in front of the waitress… She’s waiting.” The male said, making some of them squeak along with teasing noises. You couldn’t help but let out a soft giggle as Hyunjin finally looks up after glaring at his friend and meeting your gaze.
“I’ll get the sirloin steak with mac ‘n’ cheese and salad please.” He said, keeping eye contact with you.
“Great! How well would you like your steak to be cooked?”
“Medium well, please.”
“Awesome. Any drinks to go with that?”
“Uh… Just iced americano, please.” Hyunjin said and you smiled while writing it down.
“Got it.” You said and soon repeated their orders before taking the menus with you and left. Minutes tick by and you were too busy to steal glances at their table but maybe it’s good because if not, you probably wouldn’t be focusing on work. When their food was ready, you carried the plates on your arms, balancing them expertly. With your help of calling out the name of each dish, they raised their hands to their individual orders and you gave them out accordingly.
You came back again with the remaining dishes, handing Hyunjin’s food last since his was in fact steak. After you’ve given him his order, you flash them a smile politely.
“Enjoy your meals. Call us if you need anything else.” You said and they thanked you in unison.
For the next hour, the crowd had died down a little, giving you room to relax. You were just by the cashier counter, changing the empty paper roll to a new one in the bill printer machine when your eyes naturally flew over to the table in the back of the room. This accidentally caught the attention of the male with feline eyes. He visibly smirked at you as you saw his lips move. Just in time for Hyunjin to glance past his shoulder and lock eyes with you.
This made you look down naturally, hoping you didn’t look too panicky. You busied yourself with checking the bill history to make sure they tally. Suddenly, your co-worker Ellie came to you and was grinning at you from ear to ear.
“What now, El?”
“Those guys seated at the back… I heard them talking about you when I came to clean the table next to them.” She giggled, making you huff at her.
“You probably misheard them.”
“No! I’m serious! Would I be mistaken when they clearly said ‘the girl at the cashier’?” Your breath hitched as you tried to brush it off.
“If they really are talking about me, it’s probably to comment on my rushing ass.”
“Uh… No they weren’t? The one wearing a grey sweater clearly said ‘Ask for her number. She’s at the cashier, maybe you should pay for our meals too while you’re at it’ and he was pointing to the guy sitting in front of him.” Ellie said, making you blush. There’s no way she could make this up. So to see if she was telling the truth, you glanced up and looked at their table. You almost choked on your own saliva when you saw Hyunjin and some of them were already staring at you and Ellie.
“Shit El, they’re looking at us.”
“Correction, they’re looking at you.” She giggled as you saw Hyunjin stand up from his seat while everyone else remained seated.
“Uh… El? Why is he coming here?” You whispered while stacking the receipts in a pile.
“Oh, Hyungwon Is calling me. Bye!” She said whilst rushing into the kitchen, completely walking past Hyunjin but he couldn’t care less about her since she wasn’t the one he’s focused on. Before you could speak up to call for her, your words got stuck in your throat upon seeing Hyunjin approach you at the cashier.
“Hey… Um, can I pay for our table first?” He asked, making you smile.
“Of course. Can I have your bill?” You asked and he passed you the small clipboard with their bill attached to it. You keyed in their table number into the computer and their orders came up on the back screen for him to see.
“Help me do a quick check to see if everything is correct.” You said as his eyes soon fell on the screen behind your computer.
“Yeap. Everything’s in.” He said before meeting your eyes shyly from under the brim of his cap. You then asked how he wanted to pay for the meal and he said by card. While you were keying the amount into the machine, Hyunjin stole a quick glance past his shoulders, just in time to catch his friends gesturing for him to get your number. When he turned back around, you had just placed the machine on the top of the counter for him to insert his card.
He entered his pin number and proceeded to wait for the approval. The receipt finally prints out to indicate that the payment was successful. However, Hyunjin was debating on asking you for your number simply because he was nervous and shy. So when you handed him the receipt and his card, he quickly thanked you before going back to the table. You were a little sad that he didn’t ask for your number or even your social media but maybe it’s not meant to be. With that thought, you went into the kitchen to distract yourself. Little did you know, Hyunjin was literally smashed by his own friends when he came back empty handed.
A few minutes later, they were preparing to leave but Hyunjin thought that maybe he should just ask you for your number before he leaves. He slowed down his pace in hopes that you’ll come out from the back room. Even after he was a few feet away from the main door, you were still nowhere to be seen so he couldn’t help but sigh and left the restaurant for good.
Regret slowly seeping through his skin for not manning up and just ask you when he had the chance right in front of him. Looks like it’s too late now.
A few days had passed now and you still couldn’t get Hyunjin out of your mind. Ellie asked you to try and find his social media since you knew his full name thanks to his friend. However, you didn’t wanna be a creep and stalk him so you opted to just forget about it. Today is a nice cooling Friday evening. You took a few days off from work for the next few weeks to focus on your upcoming tests and exams. Tonight however, your friends from university, Lisa and Jennie wanted to go to the bar and take a little break from studying.
With that being said, you decided to tag along to relieve your stress. You changed into a pretty dark grey side drawstring sleeveless top and a pair of denim jeans. The girls met up with you outside the bar as you went in with them. Once you made it inside, there were a lot of people all around. Some at the bar, some at the stray tables and some at the sofa booths.
You were just walking behind Lisa and Jennie to find an empty table when you caught sight of a group of familiar looking faces at one of the sofa booths. The one that really triggered your memory was Hyunjin. He was seated there with his left arm resting on top of the sofa, wearing a satin white button down shirt with denim skinny jeans and sneakers. His hair is currently blonde, long enough for him to tie it in a half ponytail with his bangs framing his face.
He didn’t notice you at first until his friend whom you remember is the one with feline eyes nudged Hyunjin’s side and nodded his head towards you. Before you could look away in panic, Hyunjin locked eyes with you and it made you instantly smile. He did the same as he watched you walk past their booth and sat in the booth a few tables down where there were four guys greeting you and your friends.
They were Lisa and Jennie’s friends from college and you have met them a few times before. You just weren’t really close to them. Minutes went by as you slowly took your time to finish your drink while they were all on their umpteenth shot of whiskey already.
“Hey waiter! We need another bottle!” Yunhyeong slurred drunkenly to an imaginary waiter and you couldn’t help but laugh.
“I’ll go order a bottle for you guys.” You said rather calmly considering you weren’t anywhere near drunk at all. You got up to go get them a bottle of whiskey, making your way to the bar. When you made it there, you smiled at the bartender who in return, gave you a cheeky grin. Thank god he’s handsome, if not, you would’ve just cringed.
“Can I get one bottle of whiskey, please? My friends seem like they’re going through tough times.” You said, only for him to laugh. He grabs a bottle from his shelf and hands it to you.
“Just don’t let them sleep in the bar all night.” He said, making you laugh.
You took the bottle and thanked him, handing him cash before leaving the bar. While you were making your way back to your table, you caught a glimpse of Hyunjin’s table and as if they were already waiting for you to look, some of them were already waving to you. The one with feline eyes smirked at you and gestured with his fingers to call you over.
With a mind of its own, your legs brought you to their table and soon, Chan speaks up on behalf of everyone.
“Hey, you’re the one who worked at that restaurant right?” He asked, making you nod.
“Yes. And apparently, I have a name in case you’re wondering.” You said, only for the one with feline eyes to smirk.
“Hyunjin already has a name for you but go ahead. Tell us your name.” He urged you gently so you did.
“It’s Y/N.” You smiled, glancing over to Hyunjin. He had a shy smile on his face, only for you to hear Lisa’s voice calling for you from their table. A soft sigh left your lips as you bid them goodbye.
“Well, there’s my cue. Bye guys.” You laughed and walked away a little sadly. Another half an hour or so went by, you were just starting to get borderline tipsy when a soft tap on your shoulder made you turn to find Hyunjin standing there. You were surprised to see him there since you never thought he wanted to talk to you.
“Hey, can I buy you another drink?” He asked so you nod. You followed him to the bar as he sat next to you and told you to order whatever you want. You ended up with just a glass of bourbon as he settled for a glass of whiskey.
“I don’t wanna sound like a creep or anything, but I’ve been thinking about you lately. I guess I regretted not talking to you more the other day at the restaurant.” Hyunjin said, making you laugh.
“It’s okay. That makes two of us I guess.” He couldn’t help but laugh as you chatted more with him, getting to know him a little better. You found out that he’s two years younger than you, is a Hankuk U student unlike you who is a Yonsei U student, he is taking up dance major and he likes art, more specifically painting, drawing, sketching and fine art. You were so engrossed in your conversation with him that you didn’t notice your friends were leaving until you felt a tap on your shoulder.
Jennie was holding onto Lisa who seemed completely out of it and was a giggling mess, “Sorry to interrupt, but we’re heading home. Wanna come with us?” Jennie asked. You glanced back at Hyunjin who gave you a soft smile and nodded at you to go with your friends. You hesitated for a bit but then an idea came into your mind. That’s when you took out your phone from your back pocket and unlocked it, clicking on the contact list and holding your phone to him.
Hyunjin didn’t waste any time in entering his information before passing your phone back to you. With that being done, you bid him goodbye and you left, helping to hold Lisa’s other side.
That night, Hyunjin patiently waited for you to text back. He wasn’t sure if you’d actually text him since you’re the one with his number. He was just lying in bed, ready to go to bed when his phone chimed with a new text message. He took his phone from his nightstand and saw a few texts from an unknown number. He clicked on it and there were 3 unread messages.
You [sent at 1:54am]: Hey! It’s me, Y/N
You [sent at 1:54am]: I actually wanted to text you when I reached home but I got so busy helping my friend that I forgot to text you…
You [sent at 1:55am]: Sorry if I’m disturbing your sleep. We can text tomorrow! Haha :)
Hyunjin wasted no time in replying to you since he’s been waiting all week to do this ever since he laid eyes on you.
Hyunjin [sent at 1:56am]: Hey! No, you weren’t disturbing. I just got back a while ago anyway :)
The conversation continued until late, not realising that it was just a few hours before sunrise. You excused yourself to go to sleep, making sure to tell him that you loved talking to him and that you’d wanna continue the conversation later in the day again and he agreed. Hyunjin felt like his heart would explode at any given moment now that he finally gets to talk to you.
Fate does work in mysterious ways…

WIBTA if I left my mom alone dealing with my traumatized sister?
This turned out to be very long, there's a synthesis at the end. My (22FtM) sister (8F) has gone to summer camp and, for the first time, slept in a tent away from home. Except that the people looking after the kids for the night (mostly 16-17 yo teens) didn't mention that it was supposed to be a horror night, and my sister (probably the youngest of the group) was forbidden to come home or call her parents, both the night and the following day.
Of course she came back traumatized (considering that she's easily scared too) and began having full blown panic attacks, crying and whatnot. When we asked the people who ran the camp for an explanation, they said nothing was wrong with her, and that's why they called no one to pick her up, thus making it harder to reconstruct what happened to us and straight up lying, but this is a whole other story.
It has been two weeks for now and although she's gotten better, my sister still needs someone looking after her 24/7 or will start to get scared and risk having panic attacks, especially at night. This situation is extremely draining to everyone, but I'm constantly asked to babysit, a lot of the time interrupting whatever I have to do to look after her, or make the activities I was doing kid friendly (as a metalhead this means "no scary music" or if I'm playing games or watching something, it must be suitable for her). This is especially hard on me since for practical reasons I'm forced to share my room with her, and she will often hang around me, and it's not excluded that she may ask me to leave the room so that she can play on her own.
On top of this, my grandfather (my mom's stepdad) is currently in the hospital for heart surgery, which preoccupies my mother further and will take it out on everyone passive-aggresively since she's a really anxious person on her own, let alone in this situation.
I'm reaching a breaking point where I'm struggling to keep it together and not to lash out at everyone, meaning that I get nervous or snappy when tired and will need a lot of alone time since I can't get any during the day (I've been recently diagnosed as autistic, and only now acknowledging my own needs and not just "pushing through" them), to the point my mom is starting to blame the T I take because of my transition for my bad mood or straight up scolding me because I'm "exaggerating" or "not doing enough for the family".
I don't blame her but her behaviour is objectively making things worse to me, but anytime I tried to tell her about my feelings in the past she's been belittling them or storming out of the room without listening to me.
I'm considering going away for a couple of days, but I'm afraid that my absence may actually worsen the situation because I'm the only one in the house who can afford to and is actively putting work/studying to the side to make room for my family's needs, and without the extra help my mom gets the whole thing could become unsustainable for everyone, not just for me.
TLDR: WIBTA if I left my mom dealing with my 8 yo sister's trauma to prioritize my own mental health and my studies?
What are these acronyms?

very short, but im bored at work lol
hope yall enjoy!
all the love ~ lunar
You and your boyfriend Taeyong have been in a secret relationship for about three months now. It's not easy hiding something like this, especially with someone as well known as Taeyong, but he makes every second of it worthwhile, plus what's life without a little thrill? The past three months have been the happiest of your life, despite having to sneak around, and having less time together than your typical couple, every second with him is cherished. Lately, you have noticed that Taeyong has been more tired than usual, and has been spending longer hours in the studio, so you wanted to do something special for him. The two of you have a very playful relationship when the two of you are together, so naturally, you thought about doing a movie night with him, but also building a very elaborate fort to share together.
Somehow you managed to convince him to get off of work at a reasonable time, and he agreed to meet you at your apartment when he was done. Compiling all of the blankets and pillows you own, plus adding in some extra essentials, and surfaces to hang the blankets on, you start constructing the most amazing fort. You even managed to run to the store and grab all of his favorite snacks and drinks, and by the time you were almost fully done building the fort, Taeyong had messaged saying that he was on the way. Anticipation building in your chest, you were both excited and nervous, hoping that he would appreciate the gesture you have done for him. You know he will appreciate it, but you are also hoping that it helps him relax after the weeks of stress he has been putting on himself.
After about 20 minutes, you hear someone knocking on the door. Rushing over, you open it and jump excitedly into his arms, your favorite place to be. Before you let him inside, you move behind him, and cover his eyes.
“I have a surprise for you, but you can't see it just yet.” you say excitedly, and he chuckles at your childlike nature, one of the things that drew him closer to you. The two of you enter the apartment, still covering his eyes so he doesn't see your creation.
“Ready?”
“I'm ready, i think…” he says, failing to hide the anticipation and nerves that he is feeling. When you finally let him open his eyes, he stands there in shock. His boba eyes wide, taking in the massive fort that is in front of him.
“What's this pretty girl?” he asks quietly, trying not to let his heart jump out of his chest.
“I know you've been really stressed lately, I thought maybe we could have a movie night, and you can't have a movie night without a fort. I was hoping it would at least give you a stress free night.” As soon as you finish your explanation, he turns around and wraps his arms around you in the tightest, most loving embrace.
“You didn't have to do all of this for me, but thank you. I love it.”
“i'm glad you love it, and I wanted to do this for you.” you reply. Gently, he places his lips on yours, smiling into the kiss. His kisses are so gentle, yet there is no question about the passion he shares through them, always leaving you speechless.
“Shall we go in?” he asks, gently grabbing your hand and leading you into the fort. He's even more shocked when he sees the inside, and how cozy the atmosphere is, along with all of his favorite snacks.
The two of you spend the night watching movies, munching on snacks, and simply enjoying each other’s presence. To him, there is nothing more perfect than being with you, and enjoying simple things like this with you, his soulmate.
