On safety:

I didn't want to go off about this but it keeps happening, so. @ the people in our notes repeatedly asking if we're trying to get people hatecrimed or killed or telling us to shut up because we're talking about people being more open about stigmatised things: No, we absolutely are not trying to get people hurt. That's the literal opposite of what we want.

We're not telling people to put themselves in danger. We're not telling people to walk up to people who hate whatever they are and scream "I'm the very thing you hate, here I am!" or what have you in their faces. We can't control what people do, but... A very important part of the post people keep having issues with has clearly outlined within the body text itself a note about safety.

"Be open where safe". We literally said that on the post. It has no ulterior meaning behind it. I genuinely don't know what other meaning it could have.

We're advocating for people to be open where they're able to. We're advocating for the destigmatisation of things like psychosis or "weird" LGBT identities or things society hates in general, because these things SHOULDN'T result in people getting harmed. We're advocating for people to have their voices heard if they so choose to speak, we're advocating to boost the voices of marginalised communities of all sorts. But we are NOT advocating for people to be forced out of safety and into the spotlight if they don't choose that themselves.

It's a post about positivity surrounding those identities or disorders, about how your voice as someone marginalised DESERVES to be heard, and about how if you have the choice (specifically if you are SAFE TO), being who you are and not masking things you can hardly control is what we're aiming for. People shouldn't have to hide.

Are we, as a heavily stigmatised psychotic, queer and generally disabled system, being a little "too open" to be considered safe sometimes? Sure, but that's our experience and our decision. We can't hide half of what we are anyway--it actively hurts to do that most of the time. And hell, we want to be open because sometimes? People who are hurting and shunned by society end up thanking us or reaching out for making them feel less alone. Something we sorely needed growing up--a way to feel less like the entire world was against us. We're not here to tell you what to do, we're here to tell people they aren't alone, and there are some safe spaces out there, even if few. If other people want to do the same, that's their decision.

We're here for solidarity, NOT harm, and this is OUR choice. The unfortunate reality is that we're unsafe anyway, but we're not going to live our life personally trying to hide things that change the very fundamental reality of what we are. WE get to do what we want. WE get to choose to speak. So does anyone else--and they get to choose to remain quiet, too. We literally never told anyone to put themselves in the line of fire, and we wouldn't expect you to.

If you can't be open, or you're unsafe, you're no lesser and you aren't excluded from the label "terrorpunk", that's for sure. It's not about getting yourself hurt.

Please read what we're saying before hitting us with "as a psychotic person, this is putting us in danger"--we specified "where safe" and we never said people should get hurt. We're also psychotic, and tired of the way the world is, so we're not going to shut up, we're not going to hide anymore, because that's our decision.

I don't know how we got from "be openly you where safe because these things shouldn't be so shunned" to "wow these guys want people hurt", but we're not putting up with words being put in our mouth. Please actually read and digest what we're saying.

do yall ever think about bruce/batman!clone danny standing in front of his bathroom mirror after finding out he was a clone and silently tracing his face. The slope of his jaw and point of his chin. The high angle of his cheekbones and the shape of his eyes, the curve of his brow bones and the shape of his nose. The volume of his hair and the way it curls and gets fluffy when it gets too long.

His hair is black the same way a crow's wing is black. His dad's hair is black the same way a black bear's fur is black. His dad's eyes are blue like the ocean is blue. Danny's eyes are blue the same way a glacier is blue.

His dad has a square jaw and straight flat hair, and he tans and gets a face full of freckles when he's out in the sun for too long. Danny burns like a lobster and his face remains untouched. Danny has a sharp jaw and tall cheekbones, and Sam says when he's not smiling there's almost something regal about him. You would never call Jack Fenton "regal" when he's not smiling.

Sam says when he's not smiling he looks scary the same way a stone statue is. Jack Fenton when he's not smiling looks scary the same way that german shepherd staring at you across the street is.

Do you ever think he grew up wondering if he was adopted. Because of course, he has black hair and blue eyes like his dad. But having the same color doesn't make you someone's child.

Or, worse, things he's heard from the other kids and the other parents and even some of his teachers growing up; that he was the product of an affair. And that his dad was just too stupid to notice. And Danny would defend his parents until the day he died, because Jack Fenton wasn't an idiot and Maddie Fenton wasn't a cheater.

But doubt comes in with fickle tongue. his parents swear up and down that he is their child when he asks about either. That Danny just had his grandparents' features, but he was their son and they loved him.

But Danny doesn't look like either of his parents. His mom's eyes are blue like an aquamarine and Jazz's too. And they burn like lobsters in the sun too, but Jazz gets freckles on her face and so does Maddie. And as Danny grows up he doesn't bulk up or get stocky like his dad did, and when he hits puberty he doesn't shoot up like a tree like Jack Fenton did.

He stays small, and they say he's a late bloomer (and he is), or that he just has his mom's height. But he's fast and has good stamina, and some days it feels like he's built entirely different from his family. That the things they went through growing up just didn't apply to him. Jack and Maddie Fenton both had acne and breakouts when they hit puberty, and Jazz inherits it and he's seen the amount of skincare products she keeps on her side of the bathroom.

And then he hits puberty and breaks out maybe once or twice, but his skin stays clear for the most part and the problems and changes his dad went through just don't happen to him.

And the truth is worse than all of the lies.

YOU ARE NOT A WANNAREXIC IF YOU EAT OVER YOUR CALORIE LIMIT. A wannarexic is someone who pretends to be anorexic for attention and then go back to eating normally no problem. A wannarexic is someone who only doesn't eat around others for attention and doesn't care about calories or fat. A wannarexic is someone who only pretends to be anorexic to get sympathy.

If you aren't any of those things then you aren't a wannarexic. Anorexia is a mental illness, and it's okay if you binge because that's how your body works. Please, babies, you aren't wannarexic because chances are everyone reading this post is actually anorexic. Send love to others who think they are wannarexic for binging.

My favorite quote is "If you're doing it in private with no one watching then you aren't faking." All of us count calories when no one is watching, you aren't faking. I love you, and if I can love you then you can love yourself.
