Meeting my longtime artist and good friend, Chris, IN REAL LIFE!
So, I hadn't been to a restaurant in over a decade. I can't even remember which restaurant since it was so long ago. But in the past few weeks I've now been to TWO restaurants.
I am becoming a social butterfly.Â
And it is exhausting.
But also good.
First I reconnected with my high school best friend, John.
And that went great.
But then the opportunity to see my friend Chris (a.k.a @whosthewhatnow ) came up only a few days later. And this close proximity of social events scared me a bit, but I have been feeling much better since they figured out my heart thing, so I decided to try and do both things even though they were only a few days apart.Â
The key to this was strategic resting. As soon as I got home from seeing John, I got in bed and I didn't get out of it until it was time to see Chris. And that was just enough recovery time to pull this off. Typically a short outing requires 2-3 days of rest after.Â
I had never met Chris in real life. He has done nearly all of the artwork for my website and comics over the past decade. And he was a main character in my CRAPPRnauts series.
We know each other so well and it is crazy that we've never seen each other with our very own eyeballs.
He is such an amazing artist. He works fast and he adds so many cool extra details that you can stare at his comic panels multiple times and catch a new joke or easter egg each time. He is a dream to work with and my Corg Life series was only successful because he did such a wonderful job bringing Otis to life in comic form.Â
So we decided to meet up at a restaurant with his friend Michael and then I was going to take a nice portrait of him after dinner. Chris had never had a professional photo taken of himself and I decided to fix that.
I told him I had a mobile photography setup. Which, in reality, is a trunk full of lights and stands and other various camera gear that I definitely won't need, but bring anyway. It's "mobile" in that it all fits in my car if you are good at Tetris (which I am).
The restaurant was downtown and I had visions of St. Louis's famous Gateway Arch in the background of Chris's portrait. I thought that would be such a cool shot. I could see it in my head and I even dreamed about it.
So I got in my car and headed downtown and my GPS told me to exit at 249B. But I kept looking and I couldn't see the sign for 249B.
This is how much road I had left when I finally was able to see the exit for 249B.
So I ended up taking 249A and going straight to East St. Louis.
Which, if you believe the headlines, is not a place you ever want to be.
Google Maps and I have been having issues lately. They also tried to get me to take the spooky way home that night, but thankfully I actually knew the non-spooky way back from when I used to go to Cardinal games with my parents as a kid.
My short term memory was trashed by shock therapy. And so was a lot of my long term memory. But it finally came through in a pinch and remembered something useful.
I only had to loop around and cross a bridge so I didn't really do anything but touch the edge of East St. Louis. I was mostly concerned about being late for dinner more than its scary reputation. Usually those news stories about a place being "dangerous" are actually just racist and hurtful to people stuck in poverty. I mean, technically my house is in a "dangerous" neighborhood, and we do have trouble with petty crime in some spots, but aside from a few dinged-up mailboxes, I've never felt unsafe in my home.
On the way back to regular St. Louis I could see the Arch on the horizon at sunset and it was kind of magical. And I wasn't able to get a good shot of it, but it sure looked pretty from my point of view.Â
My photos kind of remind me of the beginning of movies like Training Day where they are trying to show you gritty, dutch angle shots of the city out of the car window to give you a sense of the location.
As I approached the restaurant I invented a new genre I call "stoplight photography." The sky was orange and the streets of St. Louis were just asking to be photographed. But I wasn't willing to die to get neat photos, so I just took them at every red light.
The big trick was trying to edit the dark area at the top of my windshield out of the photos to make it look like I didn't take these pictures from my car.
After a 15 minute detour through Illinois I arrived at my destinationâa Mexican place called Rosalita's. It had a beautiful sign, so I took that literal sign as a metaphorical sign it was a nice place to get a quesadilla.Â
Dinner was great. Both signs were right and their quesadilla was very tasty. Chris and I both got one, so we are quesadilla twins. The waitress was one of those "I can remember your order without writing anything down" types. And I am one of those, "I get anxiety when things aren't written down" types. And, to her credit, she did not forget our orders. But she did forget to give us silverware and napkins. So I still feel like my anxiety was valid.Â
We told sad stories of the pups we lost. But we also had a lot of fun and laughed and I got to meet Michael who turned out to be an absolute mensch. I sometimes have trouble meeting new people with my social anxiety, but he was very affable and made me feel comfortable with his presence almost right away. He was a fan of Otis and mentioned he still has a Super Otis shirt. I always get choked up hearing that Otis is still loved. Hopefully we get to meet again.Â
Dinner ended and it was picture time.
I asked Chris if he wanted the high effort photo or the low effort photo. Either we figure out how to get to the Arch or we find a spot near the restaurant and just take his portrait there. Chris and Michael had a driver because they were coming from a big conference and getting to the Arch would have been complicated. So we decided to go with the low effort option.Â
I found a cool shop nearby that had an LED wall that changed to all sorts of different colors. And I thought that would make a neat background and give a colorful edge light on Chris's face. I pulled my car near that spot and started unloading my trunk full of photo gear.
I think Chris and Michael were a little overwhelmed when I started pulling camera gear out of my trunk like a clown pulling an endless handkerchief out of his mouth. But as far as photo setups go, it was actually pretty minimal.Â
Light, giant battery, light stand, umbrella, tripod, camera, rolling walker with seat.
My dad's old rollator came in clutch because I wanted to shoot from a low angle and it is hard for me to bend down. In fact, I think I'm going to look into getting an all terrain version so I can do more outdoor photoshoots.
I started shooting in the middle of a downtown sidewalk. And I was super anxious. I could not focus (my brain, not my camera). I was very distracted with all of the people walking by and staring. I was not sure if any of the photos were turning out. I wasn't even sure if they were in focus (my camera, not my brain) because I had not yet had my lens calibrated. But down the street there was a guy with an old school boombox playing random music. His music helped to drown out the ambient noise and gave me some comfort.
I had no clue if the photos were any good, but when I got home and checked them on my computer, I realized I have 12 years of experience and muscle memory built up. I probably should have just trusted myself because the photos all turned out great.
I think Chris can now officially say he has had a professional portrait taken of himself.
This photo has been officially loved by Chris's girlfriend and mother.
There is no greater seal of approval and I am honored.
I was able to comp in any of the colors the wall displayed from other shots in case Chris is feeling a little more green in the future.
A literal rainbow of options.
I also liked this one, though it is a little more "environmental portrait" than regular portrait.
And I got some nice photos of our little group to help us remember the night.Â
And I got a bunch of photos of Chris making silly faces like Calvin at his school photoshoot.Â
I love this woman's reaction to our little impromptu sidewalk photo shenanigans.
After we said our goodbyes and I gave my friend a hug, I was a little bummed I didn't get to photograph him at the Arch like I had dreamed.
But then I realized I had my own car and it was capable of taking me places. (I actually haven't gotten used to that after not driving for nearly 15 years.)
So I decided to drive a few blocks over to Kiener Plazaâa park with a view of the Arch.Â

"Now I find that I'm thigh deep, too young for the worst of my mind. You whisper behind me, "If I may make so bold". Call it young and wild, but I ran a mile in a minute... and there's no going back"
You should stop staring.
You're sure by now it's obvious, you're sure by now Joost can feel your eyes burning to him from where you sit directly across from him. The conversations around you are little distraction from your watchful gaze. Not even the feeling of your boyfriend, Michael's hand moving to rest on your thigh can pull you out of your trance.
Joost laughs at a joke Apson tells, one that you hadn't bothered to pay attention too. Instead your focus is fixated on the way Joost's face lights up at as his head tilts back slightly, amused by his friend's sense of humor. The dimples in his cheeks now prominent as his mouth opens, lips curling up into a wide grin. All the noise that surrounds you in the crowded restaurant is dampened by the sound of his laughter, a sweet music to your ears.
Joost's eyes meeting yours as his laughter subsides is finally enough to rip you from your stares. With a few quick blinks you're somewhat back to reality, tunnel vision disappearing. You pull your lips into a tight smile, unsure of if you should be embarrassed by your actions. Though embarrassment is hardly on your mind as Joost smiles back at you, which was more than you could hope for given the situation at hand.
It was probably naive of you to assume that getting into a new relationship would make things less complicated between you and Joost. But in your head, initially, it made perfect sense, a new relationship meant you could push your feelings into something different, perhaps finally get over what was supposed to be your ex-boyfriend.
But seeing Joost now, for the first time since you and Michael had started going out, you realize things aren't going to be so easy, that Joost, and the relationship that the two of you had wasn't something that you could just "get over". Especially not when instead of trying to move on after the breakup, the two of you would remain intimate. While intimacy now lacked the romance of your past relationship, your feelings lingered, unable to separate the Joost in front of you now from the Joost who was once your boyfriend.
A quick glance down at your lap leads you to finally notice Michael's hand on your thigh, the reminder that he in fact was the one here who was your boyfriend making your stomach sink. The uncomfortableness of the night was becoming too much to bare. Damn Julie for wanting to meet your new boyfriend on today of all days, and damn yourself for not being able to say no to your best friend on her birthday.
"So," You hear Julie start, looking toward you and Michael, "Michael, y/n tells me you're not from here, have you been in there Netherlands long?"
Michael furrows his eyebrows, you guess he's attempting to count the months since he left the states,
"Almost 8 months." He replies, his voice is flat, uninterested.
"That's nice," Julie smiles, "Do you plan on staying here for awhile?"
"Depends," He shrugs, his hand falling from your lap, a small wave of relief rushing over you. "I go wherever the money takes me. And right not the money is here."
"Well I guess that's not bad advice to live your life by," Julie nods, but she seems unsure of herself, Michael had that affect on people, making people question whether or not you were saying the right thing. You knew that well.
"It's the only advice to live your life by."
"Nah, nah, man," Joost shakes his head, "There's more to life than money. Where's the passion?"
You bite the inside of your cheeks, eyes flicking toward Michael. Michael chuckles, though, just like in everything else, there's a clear condescension in the way he laughs, making it more-so of a scoff.
"Don't be ridiculous," His dry, faux laughter continues, perhaps a little too long, "You're young, you'll find out soon enough. You don't really think you're going to be doing the music thing forever, do you? "
"Michael!" You place a firm hand down on the table, the silverware clattering slightly from the vibration of your hand.
"No, it's okay," Joost laughs uncomfortably. "Appreciate the honesty, Michael." An apparent bitterness in his voice, "But can't say I'll take your advice."
"Eh," Michael shrugs, "You say that now-"
"Alright!" Apson exclaims from beside Joost, clapping his hands together once, commanding the table's attention, "How about dessert?"
The tension is briefly lifted from the table as everyone looks at each other, nodding contently in agreement that it was, indeed, time for dessert.
You're nursing your second espresso martini while the table finishes up their dessert, combined with the glass-and-a-half of wine you had with dinner, you're certainly feeling, less tense.
You listen less than intently as Julie talks about a recent promotion that she got at work. Not that you're not proud enough of your friend to care, but you're not fully there. You inch your leg forward slightly, nudging your ankle against Joost's leg. You pretend not to notice as his gaze flicks towards you, instead you train your eyes on the plate on the table in front of you, moving around what remains of the food with your fork.
Julie is still explaining her new position as you bring your leg up higher, the top of your foot sliding up the fabric of Joost's pants until you reach his knee.
He's staring at you now, just as you had been staring at him before, you can feel it. Still attempting to keep an air of nonchalant you turn to try to focus on Julie's speech. At the same time you move forward slightly in your seat, extending your leg fully under the table, you press the ball of your foot to the inside of Joost's thigh.
You notice in your peripheral how his posture straightens as he sucks in a breath. You smile slightly, a light puff of air leaving your nostrils at his stifled reaction to your teasing.
Truthfully you weren't quite sure what you were doing, you full well had made plans to stay the night with Michael tonight. After all, your apartment was much farther away than his from the restaurant Julie had chosen for her birthday dinner, it was just much easier to stay with Michael and catch a train back home tomorrow during the daytime rather than traveling by yourself at night.
Despite your other plans, you press the point of your shoe a little higher up on Joost's thigh now, continuing to tease him. You have no real end goal in mind, and you really should be consumed with guilt at even thinking of touching a man other than Michael like this, but the alcohol has mellowed your inhibitions, and there's a certain thrill in doing something that you know you shouldn't be.
You feel Joost's hand against your leg, his fingers wrapping around your ankle, thumb gently caressing your skin. You fight back a smirk, after over a month of not seeing Joost you were ready to melt under his simple touch. His fingers tighten, then loosen around you again, and he continuously repeats the pattern, gently massaging you.
You're dangerously close to poking Joost's crotch with the tip of your shoe when Michael throws an arm around you, unexpectedly. You're startled, kicking forward slightly, forcing Joost's hand from your ankle. Joost presses a fist to his mouth, clearing his throat before pushing his seat back, causing your heel to fall to the ground.
"I need a cigarette," He mumbles as he stands up from the table, quickly hurrying away.
His abrupt exit halts the conversation, the table going silent with confusion.
"Um," You start, "I-uh- think I'm gonna have a smoke too." You nod quickly, untangling yourself from Michael's grasp, standing up, shuffling awkwardly from the table.
You quickly find your way outside, the air is brisk, a chill breeze blowing past you immediately making you realize you should have brought a jacket. Joost isn't too far out the door, an unlit cigarette pressed to his lips
"Can I get a cigarette?" Your heels clack loudly against the concrete as you step out onto the sidewalk.
Joost quickly whips his head toward you, ripping the cigarette from his mouth. Joost shakes his head, almost like he's in disbelief,
"What are you doing?" He's genuinely confused, a hint of interrogation in his voice.
You're taken aback by the force at which he asks, a tone he hadn't taken with you in awhile.
"Asking... for a cigarette?" It comes out more like a question, your eyebrows furrowed, words slow in equal confusion.
"No," He shakes his head again, "I mean in there- what was that about?" He raises a hand, vaguely gesturing towards the restaurant, "You have a boyfriend, remember?"
You do remember, unfortunately.
"So, I can't have a cigarette?" You ask slowly, your acute intoxication slipping its way into your words.
"Whatever," He scoffs, holding out his hand to give you the cigarette he was just about to smoke.
"Why are you being so weird?" You giggle, taking the cigarette from him, "Oh," You smile, "Can I get a light?"
"Jesus christ," His annoyance with the way you're playing dumb is apparent, and you know you won't be able to keep up the act forever. You bite the inside of your cheeks as he reaches his hands into his pockets, fumbling around for a lighter. It was naive of you to pretend like Joost wouldn't want to address the obvious elephant in the room.
You place the cigarette between your lips as Joost pulls out the lighter, his hand stretched out to pass it to you. You say nothing, only stick out your jaw slightly, the cigarette flicking upward. You want him to light it for you.
"You're evil," He clenches his jaw, his jaw line sharpening, cheeks hollowing, making the angular bones in his face more apparent. Still, Joost steps forward sightly, flicking the lighter against his thumb. A small orange flame erupts, and Joost lightly passes it to the end of your cigarette, holding the lighter there just long enough for it to light.
You inhale as Joost pulls the lighter back, you bring your hand to your lips, barely holding the cigarette between two fingers. The smoke fills your lungs, invading your senses as the warmth pricks at your throat.
You exhale, "That's not very nice." You frown.
"C'mon," Joost's expression suddenly changes, tilting his head to the side, he seems defeated, "Seriously, what are you doing?"
"I-" You think for a moment, "I don't know." You're equally as defeated now, the threat of having to cut things off with Joost is imminent. And it's what you should be doing, you should be giving Michael your undivided attention, its high time you should be leaving Joost in your past, where you know he belongs.
Your lips tremble as you push the cigarette back to them, the alcohol that once stripped you of your inhibitions suddenly making them so much worse.
"I don't understand you," Joost mutters, "You break up with me, you break my heart, decide you still want to fuck me for a year, then you run off, get a boyfriend, don't talk to me for over a month, and now all a sudden you're touching all over me under the dinner table like I'm the one you're going home with tonight, like you didn't break up with me a year ago."
It does sound bad when he puts it that way, your heart plummeting to your stomach under the heavy weight of guilt. You really fucked up this time.
"Joost-" You're cut off as the cigarette accidentally falls from your shaking hands. Shit. You force your gaze down to the pavement, unable to look at Joost as you crush the barely smoked cigarette under your shoe. "It's not that simple," Your voice is soft, barely returning the same confrontational tone he had given you.
Of course it isn't that simple. Why had he been acting like it was? As if you had broken up with him as a result of love lost between the two of you? As if you had just broken his heart for the fun of it? He of all people should know how hard it was for you to break up with him, what should have been a simple process turning into an hours long affair of you crying in each others arms, lamenting in how much you still loved him, and him desperately apologizing for not having given you everything you deserved.
"And you should know damn well how hard I tried to save our relationship, why else do you think I keep coming back?"
"Obviously you didn't try hard enough, or you wouldn't be here with another guy."
A strained laugh escapes your throat, amused by how absurd Joost is being now,
"No, Joost, you're the one who didn't try." You cross your arms across your chest, realizing just how cold the night air was, goosebumps littering your arms, "That's why we broke up in the first place, remember?" A year later and you still cannot escape the emotions of that night. You can't help but wonder if you'll ever be free from this feeling, or if you even want to be.
Emotions run high, and you can feel the tears brewing behind your eyes, threatening to spill with any sudden movement you make.
You blink once and a singular tear slips from your lash line, slowly caressing the curve of your cheek. Joost's expression suddenly changes, eyes widening, lips parting like he's about to speak.
"Hey, pumpkin," You hear a familiar voice call from behind you, the pet name makes your stomach churn, overwhelming you with such disgust you temporarily forget Joost in front of you. A hand against your back accompanies the voice, finally making you turn to face it.
With a sniffle and a few blinks you push back the emotions, a smile pulling at your lips with a chipper voice to match,
"Michael," You beam, "What's up?"
"I am so sorry honey, but I just remembered I have an early meeting tomorrow," His voice is barely apologetic, and you don't quite understand what he's getting at.
"Oh-uh-okay?" You furrow your eyebrows, unsure of why he's apologizing for having a meeting.
"So I'm going to head out now, I already left some money for the bill, I'll talk to you in the morning, okay?"
"But I thought I was going to come to your-" Michael doesn't let you finish your sentence,
"I know, pumpkin, I'm sorry, I just think it's best you don't stay over tonight." He nods.
"Oh, but it's dark I don't want to-" You're cut off again,
"Don't be ridiculous sweetheart, you'll be okay, see you soon, mkay?" He smiles.
You're hesitant to even speak again, knowing if you say too much he'll probably cut you off again. "Sure," You pull your lips into a tight smile, nodding in an attempt to hide your disappointment. There go your plans for the night. "Right, see you later." You try your best to bare a grin.
"Okay, bye pumpkin," He leans in for a quick kiss on the cheek before hurrying off, on his walk away he throws up a hand towards Joost, "Nice to meet you, buddy."
"Yeah, you too." Joost speaks slowly, though you're sure Michael doesn't even hear with the speed at which he walks away. You flick your eyes to Joost for a brief moment before immediately looking away, opting to no longer brave the cold and head straight for the restaurant bathroom.
You rush past the table your friends still sit at in the dimly lit restaurant, making your way to the back of the building. You fling over the bathroom door, a small relief washing over you when you realize it's only a singular stall before you lock the door behind you.
You place your hand above your eyes, pressing tightly as the tears begin to flow, all of your stupid decisions slapping you in the face at once. Unfortunately, your actions have consequences; and here you were, in a restaurant bathroom forced to bear the brunt of all of them now.
You had broken up with Joost to begin with, in part, to stop the arguing between you two. But it seemed like you could never help yourself, desperate to get Joost to see your side of things, a subconscious urge to finally get him to change, to get him to be the perfect boyfriend you had always dreamed him to be. You can only push so much, tonight being a sign that you were reaching the point where you can't push much more without things breaking.
You lift your hands from your eyes, and lean forward against the bathroom counter. Your hands press into the edge of the marble that surrounds the sink as you stretch your body towards the mirror, inspecting your face.
You're stained with the distinct mark of sadness, eyes now red, your face slightly puffy. You huff, allowing yourself, for just a moment to be grateful you had put on waterproof eyeliner tonight, saving yourself from a potentially greater mess on your face.
You watch yourself in the mirror intently, the glass reflecting back to you how truly pathetic you feel now. But you'll have enough time to feel pathetic once you get home, now, tonight, was about Julie, and it would be selfish of you to spend the rest of the night hiding out, smothering yourself in your own despair instead of celebrating your best friend.
You blink away the remaining tears in your eyes and gently press your fingers to your cheeks to rid the droplets from your skin. The fact you had been crying was apparent, but the restaurant was dark, and you hoped that the low mood lighting would be enough to hide that fact.
With a few deep breaths you're ready to unlock the bathroom door. The metal handle is cool under your shaky touch, you turn it, pulling back the door.
You jump back slightly when you realize there's someone standing behind it, the figure startling you, making your whole body jolt.
"Oh," You inhale sharply, recognizing the person behind the door as Joost, "Sorry, were you waiting for the bathroom? I'm gonna head back-" You speak quickly, head down anxious to get out of his way.
"Nee, I-" He grabs your arm lightly, not allowing you to leave the small corridor the bathroom was located in. He's about to say something else- but you look up at him, and his tone changes, "Oh," He sighs, not releasing his grip on your arm, in fact, only using it to bring you closer to him, "Tell me you weren't crying in there."
You assume he finally got to have that cigarette he wanted after he had given the first one to you, the familiar lingering scent of smoke and his cologne overwhelming your senses as he pulls you closer. The smell, a reminder of his proximity, should upset you, knowing you probably won't be able to enjoy it much longer, but your instincts kick in, and it's nothing but comfort.
"Joost," You start, placing your hand over where his grips your arm, ready to peel it off of you, "I'm okay, I really should be getting back to Julie."
"No, really," He tilts his head, "Tell me." You loosen your hand from where it rests on his, suddenly no longer so willing to part with his touch.
"I'm okay." Your voice a whisper now.
Joost stares down at you, and even now, you can't help but stare back at him. His pretty blue eyes are deep with emotion.
"I'm always doing that, hm?" There's a certain disappointment in his voice, as he moves closer to you, pressing his free hand to your cheek, "Making you cry?"
He's not entirely wrong, but you'd hate to admit it, much less admitting it to his face.
"I know you don't mean to," Your voice is soft, apologetic, like you're sorry for even crying in the first place, "Don't worry about it."
"I worry about everything," He chuckles, a poor attempt at lightening the mood, but it earns a small smile from you, and that's really all he can hope for. "But I was um- thinking I'll take you home? Just, you know, take the train with you, and shit."
"Oh-uh-"
"You can say no." He's quick to speak, "But I heard what Michael said, and I don't really like thinking of you going home by yourself so late."
It's thoughtful, even if he did just almost tear your heart out. You think for a moment, though it's not really necessary to, you already have an answer.
"That would be nice," You nod, "I'd like that."
Joost swipes his thumb against your cheek while he nods back to you, his opposite hand moving from its spot on your arm to snake around your back. His touch only solidifies the cycle you had found yourself tangled in for far too long, you upsetting one another to a point you shouldn't be able to return from, only to fall back in each others arms.
You know you should ask Joost to let go, to just accept his offer to take you home and leave it at that, and not let things go any further. But you'd be a liar to say you didn't love the way it felt when he touched you, the way even after all this time the feeling of his skin against yours still gives you butterflies in your stomach.
The two of you stare at each other silently until you let out a small giggle, realizing how weird it was for you to be sharing such a moment right outside the bathroom.
"I think we should probably head back to the table."
By the time you leave dinner you had regained that slight alcoholic buzz that the emotions of before had taken from you, a smile pressed on your lips as you waved your final goodbyes to your friends.
You turn towards the direction you should be heading, "ugh" You groan, realizing the journey ahead of you, it'll be at least another 45 minutes until you get home.
Another brisk wind blows past you, the prospective 45 minutes ahead of you suddenly feeling so much longer once you realize you'll be shivering for most of it.
"Cold?" Joost chuckles, watching you fold your arms across your torso, attempting to provide yourself with some heat.
"A little," You mumble.
"Mmm, I'm sorry," Joost hums, "Here," He begins sliding the black Ed Hardy zip-up he had been wearing off of his shoulders, revealing he had been wearing nothing but a T-shirt under the hoodie.
You hadn't asked for the sweatshirt, though you still feel a little bad taking it from him when he stretches an arm toward you, handing off the bunched up fabric.
"Are you sure?" You ask, glancing between the hoodie in his hands, and him.
"Yeah, you need it more, at least I'm wearing pants." He smiles, seeming happy enough to let you wear his sweatshirt. He had a fair point anyway, with you having chosen to forego any tights under your skirt tonight.
You slip your arms through the thick fabric, its soft inside immediately enveloping you in at least a little warmth. Joost's own body heat still lingers slightly in the material, a feeling you attempt to savor even as it quickly dissipates.
You're grateful for the slight warmth Joost's sweatshirt provides you, but it's still not enough, still shivering by the time you're on the train back home.
"Still cold?" Joost asks, though it's apparent the way you're folded in on yourself, trying to provide yourself with some heat.
You just hum in response, jaw too tight to talk.
"Oh," Joost coos, "Poor baby," He laughs, "Come here." He throws an arm around your shoulder, pulling you into his chest. Him calling you "baby" catches you off guard, though you're sure it's more mocking than it is meant to be romantic. Still, you don't dare to say anything about it.
"You're warm," You sigh as you rest your head on Joost's shoulder, face buried in his neck. His body gives off a good amount of heat, feeling more comfortable as his arms wrap around you.
You shouldn't enjoy this as much as you do, and no matter how cold you are you really shouldn't be doing this at all, not as long as Michael was in the picture. But the gentle smell of Joost's cologne is intoxicating, its familiar comfort enough to enjoy the moment without a care in the world.
You close your eyes and snuggle closer into Joost, wrapping your arms around his torso, allowing yourself to relax entirely in his embrace. You can feel his pulse gently thumping from your position against his neck, and truthfully you'd love nothing more than to press soft kisses to the pumping vein and stain his skin with your lipstick. You hate the way your mind betrays your morality, allowing yourself to get lost in these fantasies that you know are no good for you.
"Don't fall asleep on me here," Joost chuckles, lightly caressing your back.
"No promises," You mumble, feeling the vibrations of your speech against his neck.
Luckily for Joost, you hadn't fallen asleep, not leaving him with the burden of waking you up once you had arrived at your stop and dragging you home half asleep.
Instead, by the time you're unlocking your apartment door, you're wide awake, too overwhelmed with emotions to be anywhere near tired. As you turn the doorknob to enter your apartment you look back toward Joost who's standing behind you, looking a little unsure of himself.
"Do you want to come in?" You smile, "You can stay the night, it's kind of late." As soon as the offer leaves your tongue you know there's no going back now.
"You don't mind?" He asks.
"Of course not." The entrance to your apartment now stands as a door to probable bad decisions, ready to be opened. You push open the door, revealing your darkened living room.
Your hit with a wave of nerves as you step over the threshold and into the apartment, anxious for what the night has in store for you. The door lingers open for a few moments longer as Joost enters behind you.
You flick on some lights, illuminating the space around you in a pale yellow glow.
"I think I'm going to get ready for bed," You say lowly, still not tired, but you're unsure of what else to do, "Um," You start to speak again, "I won't make you sleep on the couch, I don't mind sharing the bed." You turn to Joost, shrugging. You secretly hope Joost doesn't decide to take the couch anyway.
"Cool," He grins, eyes scanning the apartment awkwardly.
"Good," Your voice just above a whisper, "Uh, you can make yourself comfortable then, I'll be back." You nod before heading to the bathroom, ready to get your makeup off of your face.
You unzip Joost's hoodie, hooking it on the back of the bathroom door, not wanting to get it wet while washing your face. You head toward the sink, turning the faucet, staring at yourself in the mirror while you wait for the water to warm up.
You sigh, using this alone time to think long and hard about how you want this night to end. Off the top of your head, you know how you want the night to end, the man you were once certain was the love of your life was most definitely making himself comfortable in your bed, it seemed like a no brainer of how you want this night to end.
But it's not so easy to throw away your morality completely, though maybe you've already made your bed by asking Joost to stay the night. Michael would be mad regardless, perhaps there's no point of turning back now. You clench your jaw, deciding you're willing to go however far Joost is.
Another fifteen minutes in the bathroom and you're stepping out feeling a little better, nerves quelled by your extensive nightly self-care routine. You breathe in as you open the bathroom door, your mouth tingling from your minty toothpaste as you take the air in. You exhale as you exit the bathroom, walking towards your bedroom.
The door is open, the room dimly lit by the glow of your TV, and the light that shines in from your balcony window.
Joost lays comfortably in your bed, his lower body resting beneath your thick comforter, it's like he belongs there, resting so casually as if it was his bed too.
"You can turn on a light you know," You smile, your voice pulling him away from whatever he had been watching on TV.
"Oh," He sits up from his position against the pillows, "I wasn't sure if you wanted it on." He rolls over slightly, stretching an arm out to turn on the lamp that sits on your bedside table.
With a faint click your room is cast in a soft orange hue. You take a look around the now illuminated space, realizing you had forgotten to straighten up before you left for the night, some clothes scattered around the floor from your frantic search for the "perfect" outfit.
"Sorry about the mess," An unnecessary shyness in your voice, as Joost had certainly seen your room in worse states.
"I didn't even notice," He chuckles, "Guess I added to it," His head cocking towards your dresser, the pants he had been wearing messily folded with the belt still in the loops sitting on top of it.
You don't respond, instead bending down to unbuckle the ankle strap on your shoes before sliding them off. There's a relief as your feet hit the floor, no longer stuck in the forced uncomfortable position from your high heels. You place your shoes off to the side and close your bedroom door behind you as you step further in.
You walk towards you dresser, thumbing through a mountain of clothes to find something to sleep in, pulling out a T-shirt that had no doubt belonged to Joost some time ago.
"You know, your boyfriend's kind of a dick." Joost speaks unprompted.
"What?" You laugh, shutting one of the drawers to the dresser before spinning around to face Joost.
"Sorry," He furrows his eyebrows, "That was uncalled for. I was- just thinking about tonight, what he said, about the music stuff- and leaving you at the restaurant."
"Oh," You frown, he's not wrong, but you should probably defend your boyfriend, "Michael is just-" Nothing comes to mind, you cannot muster any sort of actual defense, "Yeah, I guess he can be sort of a dick." Your tone becomes dejected, an unfortunate realization that maybe, once again, you had't picked the right man.
"Wow," Joost seems amused, "Never seen you so quick to admit I'm right."
"Shut up," You roll your eyes, playfully scolding him, "Anyways, it's his loss really that he didn't take me home tonight." You pause, taking the intrigue on Joost's face, the way his eyes widen and his eyebrows raise, eager to listen to your complaints, as he for once, was finally not the subject of them. "Bought some cute new lingerie, which I wore tonight, and now he doesn't get to see it." A careful smirk pulling at your lips, "What a waste."
Joost shakes his head, "Poor guy." despite his words it's clear he doesn't feel sorry for him, though, why would he, "But I mean-" He hesitates for a moment, "It doesn't have to be a waste."
"No?" You can feel your face grow hot, "What are you suggesting? That I go through the effort of posing for some pictures for him so he doesn't have to miss out?" You know he's not, but you need the confirmation.
Joost squints his eyes, shaking his head,
"I was actually, thinking of a different audience entirely."
"And that audience being..."
"Me."
"You?" The pair of you speak simultaneously
"Hmm," You pretend to think, as if this wasn't what you were hoping he'd say, "I'm sure you'll appreciate it more than he would anyway."
Joost nods fervently, as your hands fly to the hem of your shirt, quickly lifting the fabric over your head exposing the promised cute new bra. It was simple, black, lace, with a bow between the two cups, but you found it cute regardless, plus, it made your boobs look amazing.
A small smile on your face as you flick your eyes to Joost, who's now sitting up a little higher on the pillows, clearly amused, waiting on edge to see the matching panties. You continue to stare him down as you very slowly pull down the zipper on the back of your skirt.
"Need any help with that?" Joost raises an eyebrow, the question is purely rhetorical but you know he'd love nothing more right now than to get his hands on you.
"No, I think I got it." The zipper reaches as far down as it can go, the skirt loosening at your waist. You do the extra work to pull it over your thighs before letting it slip down past your knees to your ankles, kicking it off to the side.
The panties are just as simple as the bra, a plain black thong with a lacy trim, with a bow in the middle of the waist band to match.
Joost squints, "Oh, you know my eyesight is bad, come closer."
A slight giggle leaves your mouth as you scurry over to the bed in excited anticipation. You stand over where Joost lies now, biting down on your tongue so hard you're sure you'll draw blood. Joost's eager eyes swallow you whole, taking in every inch of your newly exposed body.
Joost sits up all the way, the comforter that once covered him slipping down his chest and into his lap. He swings his legs over so they hang off the bed before reaching out a hand, gently placing it on your hip,
"Oh, schatje," He mumbles, his thumb moving back and forth, gently caressing your skin. Every time Joost touched you like this it felt like the first, your muscles tensing under him. He slides his hand up your torso so it rests on your waist, groping your lightly. "Je bent zo mooi," (you look so beautiful) His eyes find yours, making sharp, and direct eye contact with each other as a smirk forms upon his lips, "I'll almost feel bad taking all this off of you."
"Taking it off me?" You gasp, pretending to be offended by his insinuation.
"No?" He asks, raising an eyebrow like it's a challenge.
"Yeah- I mean, It's kind of unfair, y'know, talking about getting me undressed when you're still pretty clothed."
"What?" He teases, "You want me naked, schatje?"
"Mmm," You purse your lips, "I didn't say that, just if I'm gonna stand here in nothing but my underwear, maybe you should have to take something off too."
"You don't drive much of a hard bargain." Joost smiles, his hands already eager to tear off his shirt, "But that's probably because I'd do anything for you."
"Anything?" You bite your lip, deep down you wish it was as true as he says it is now, just about anything seems like a more apt estimation. He'd do anything but be emotionally present when you need it, anything but listen to you when you say there's a problem in your relationship, anything but engage in healthy communication.
But now's not the time to worry about that, to worry about the past, or the future, not when Joost is undressing in front of you, pulling his black T-shirt over his head, messing up his already unruly blond hair.
The second his flesh is exposed you're already aching to put your hands all over him, yearning for the feeling of his soft skin below your hands.
"Better," The ends of your mouth pull upward in content,
"Don't think so," Joost pouts before looking down at himself, "I don't think we're even, I think... my chest is pretty exposed and you're still very... covered." He looks back at you, waving his hand in a circle as he gestures towards your bra.
"You're ridiculous," You let out a small laugh at the way Joost plays your game.
"No, just being fair," He grabs your hand, pulling you closer so you stand between his legs, "Like you say." He leans forward, placing a kiss just below your belly button, his hands moving to settle on the backs of your thighs, keeping you close to him.
"Right," You smile, "Fair." Your hands crawling up your sides, reading towards your back, quickly fumbling around with the clasp of your bra before unhooking it.
Joost looks up from where he's pressed against your stomach, watching with intent as you slide the straps down your arms, and eventually discarding the bra all together.
You're not as ashamed as you should be, standing in front of Joost like this, in fact, you rather like the way he drinks you in, wordlessly admiring you, devouring your frame with hungry eyes.
"C'mon," Joost pulls away from you, his hands leaving your thighs, "Lay down with me?"
You nod, stepping back from where you stand between his legs so he can crawl back into your bed, shifting to the middle of the mattress. You follow shortly after, crawling on top of the blankets, before making your way to Joost.
Immediately you're straddling him, your knees on either side of him as you sit on his thighs. You try to keep your eyes trained on his face, and pretend not to notice the rest of him, or the way he's beginning to strain against the tight confines of his underwear. But you'd be lying if you said you weren't feeling similarly to him now, a familiar pulsing in your inner thighs, thumping heavily, muscles tight.
"Here," Joost motions with both hands for you to come closer, to rest your bare chest against his. It's an offer you'd be stupid not to accept, leaning forward, feeling the warmth of his skin against yours. As you lean down, Joost's lips meet yours, enveloping you in a kiss so soft if it hadn't been coming from your ex, it would be romantic.
Or perhaps that fact had made it more romantic. Regardless you were lost in the way his lips worked slowly against yours, the two of you in perfect rhythm. You straighten your legs so you're laying completely on top of him. Joost's hands move to your waist, helping to position your hips. Your mouth opens slightly, gasping against Joost's lips once you finally feel him put you in the perfect position, the growing bulge in his underwear now right under your crotch.
"Right there," He mumbles before his mouth melts back into yours. You push your hips forward finding some friction between yours and Joost's bodies. You're pathetic, pathetic for him, but it's hard to care, not when he slips his tongue past your lips, hungrily exploring your mouth. Not when he holds your hips so tight his fingertips are sure to bruise your flesh, pulling you down towards him, letting you feel the full extent to how badly he needed you.
You roll your hips forward, your clit grinding against, what you assume is the tip of his now hardened cock. Joost groans into the kiss, clearly enjoying the sensation. By now the two of you would usually be scrambling to get each other naked, but the extra clothing, and the lack of penetration almost makes things more intimate. Joost turns his head for a moment to pull back from the kiss,
"Tell me if we start to take things too far." His voice is strained, and the slow caress of his thumb against your lower back ensuring how genuine each word he spoke was, "Promise?"
"Promise," You whisper.
Truthfully you were long past the point of "taking things too far", having already crossed a line when you decided to tease him under the table at the restaurant. This, now, was borderline unacceptable, fuck that, it was unacceptable- but neither of you seem to mind, Joost almost eager to be a "home wrecker", and you denying that you and Michael even had a home to wreck.
Despite how immoral this may be, you need more of Joost, the death grip he has on your hips has you moving far too slow for your complete and utter desperation.
"Faster," You sigh against Joost's lips, hoping he'll listen rather than using your request to tease you. Joost's hands move just below your ass, his blunt fingernails ripping into the backs of your thighs, spreading them further apart. With his new position you're able move more on your own, able to stimulate yourself more. Pushing your knees into the soft mattress, you begin to rut your hips faster, increasing the friction between you.
As hard as you try to keep a consistent pace, the burning desire in your core and the slick of your arousal make it almost impossible, unable to keep up with your own need.
"You like it like this?" Joost asks, almost breathless, a cockiness in his voice that tells you he already knows the answer.
"Mmhm," You hum lazily, letting your head drop from where you had been holding it up above Joost's, down to his shoulder. You're impossibly drunk off the way you feel, the way with each roll of your hips your clit grinds so perfectly against the length of Joost's cock. It's mind numbing how perfect you fit together, even stifled through your remaining clothes, you're filled with such pleasure.
You dig your fingers into the sides of Joost's arms, fingernails sure to leave little crescent moon shaped markings in his skin. You wish you could pull him closer, still feeling like there is a distance that needs to be closed between the two of you despite your position on top of him.
You clench your jaw, muscles tight at the way your body strains for him. Joost lets one hand climb up your thigh, palm now resting on the curve of you ass, before his fingernails return to your flesh, groping harshly, forcing you to grind harder against his cock. It's apparent that being away from each other for as short as a month was far too long.
You want to hold out for as long as possible, not wanting this feeling to fade, for it to be over in as quick as a few seconds as your orgasm rains over you- but its not so easy as the tightness builds between your thighs, and your movements become even sloppier than they were before.
You're a complete mess the way you whimper into the side of Joost's neck, only egged on by his obvious pulse thumping against your swollen lips.
Joost's own groans don't help holding you off from your impending climax, knowing how good this feels for him too, and that he's just as desperate for you as you are from him is just all too much for your brain to handle.
You know you're close when your legs start to tremble, and its not so easy to push yourself back and forth anymore,
"Tired already?" Joost teases, "Need me to help you?" He wraps two strong arms around your lower back, taking it upon himself to replicate your movements. Joost also thrusts his hips forward in time with you, only making your stimulation more intense.
"So good," The full breadth of you vocabulary seems to disappear, only able to slur together a few measly words to let Joost know how you were feeling, "Feels so good."
"I know it does," He sighs, "You close, schatje? Your legs are shaking."
"Very close," You screw your eyes tight, the hot simmering in your core about to turn over and reach its boiling point. Each and every one of your muscles are incredibly tight, bracing for your impending orgasm.
Joost holds you tighter upon hearing how close you were, determined to work you through your orgasm.
"Whenever you're ready," He encourages.
You could almost break a tooth with how tight your jaw is clenched, nothing but strained whines clawing their way out of your throat as you approach your climax.
The idea of cumming in your panties is a little embarrassing, but in the way that instead of making you want to crawl inside of your self in shame, it makes you only that much closer to finishing. Especially when combined with the filthiness of the fact you'll be ruining those panties over a different man than the one you bought them for. Joost had a habit of brining out the worst in you in the best ways, and now was no different.
"Joost," Your jaw finally unclenches in order for you to get one final word desperate out before your orgasm strikes you. A hot pang of electricity cracks throughout your entire body.
Joost's grip on you does not let up as you ride out your high, his voice nothing but a dull mumble of praises, "Ja, dat is het" (yeah that's it)
You continue to thrust against Joost until you're throbbing with overstimulation, gasping for air against Joost's neck.
"Is that all you got for me?" Joost asks, his words are lighthearted, not minding if you're too tired to continue for the night.
But you're not ready for the night to end, not so abruptly, just like that.
"Just," You inhale, your chest rising against Joost's, "Catching my breath." Exhale.
"Yeah," Joost laughs, high, and light- almost a giggle, "You were working pretty hard."
"Hmm," You hum, "You helped, a little." Acknowledging your orgasm was mainly due to your own work.
"I don't think that's enough," Joost pauses to place a kiss to the crown of your head, "Why don't you lay on your back so I can give you some real effort."
You peel yourself off of Joost's chest, bodies lightly sticky with sweat. You roll over, lightly thumping onto the mattress, landing on your back. Joost wastes no time in getting on top of you, perched on his hands and knees above you. A sight you had gotten used to by now, but it had never gotten less thrilling.
His unruly blonde locks spill over his forehead, some strands sticking against his skin with perspiration. His pupils are blown wide, looking like he's been rolling on molly, but his drug of choice tonight is you, your mere presence getting him higher than the finest pills or powder money could buy.
A lazy smirk draws across his swollen pink lips, a chuckle falling from them as they part,
"Don't laugh if I don't last too long," He jokes, bending his arms to lean forward and kiss your forehead, "You got me a little worked up."
"A little?"
"Very," He sighs in feigned defeat, "You drive me fucking crazy."
"Yeah, both in and out of the bedroom I'm sure." You grin, allowing yourself for just a moment to laugh at the ridiculousness of the antics you often pulled with Joost.
"Mhm," He nods, "But I probably deserve it."
"At least you're self aware, acceptance is the first step to recovery."
"Shut up," He laughs
"Make me," So cliche, You giggle.
It's a challenge Joost takes seriously, immediately catching your lips in another passionate kiss, rendering you unable to speak. You lift your arms, wrapping them around Joost's neck, pulling him down closer to you as you return his kiss.
He pulls away for a split instant, your arms falling to your side with a gentle thud.
"You're sure you want this?" His words are cautious, "We don't have to-"
"I wanna," You cut him off, "I want you." Emphasizing how badly it's him you want.
"In that case," He lifts himself from you, propped up on his knees as his hands reach for the waistband of his underwear. His fingers hook into the elastic, stretching it out slightly before pulling them down his thighs. You watch in anticipation as his cock springs free from the confines of the fabric. You shift your gaze between Joost's face and his dick, the tip a throbbing shade of red, leaky with pre-cum.
You curl your pointer finger towards you, beckoning for Joost to come closer as you prop yourself up on the pillows.
"How about we get these out of the way," Joost suggests, his hands finding their way into the elastic waistband of your panties. You nod, urging him to take them off, which he wastes no time doing.
As your panties come off you bend your legs, putting yourself on complete display for Joost. He grips the base of his cock in his palm, stroking up and down its shaft a few times, stopping at the tip momentarily to spread the clear pearl of precum that leaks from his slit around the head.
"Am I just supposed to stare while you jerk yourself off, or are you going to fuck me?" You tease.
"Patience is a virtue, schatje." He chastises, shaking his head back and forth.
"Fuck patience, I need you inside me." You whine, feeling your arousal growing once again at the anticipation of what's to come next.
"Fuck patience is right," He sighs, realizing what's in front of him.
Joost leans forward slowly to hover over you once more, his face close enough to you that the heat of his heavy breath is almost suffocating. You bite your lip, spreading your legs just a bit more, ready for him.
Joost's eyes trail down from your eyes to between your legs, ready to line himself up with your entrance, admiring every part of you along the way.
With the base of his cock held firmly in his hands, Joost sloppily pushes the tip through your soaked folds, collecting your arousal. You whine slightly, your whole body jerking as he passes your clit, still puffy and overstimulated from before.
Finally he lines himself up with your entrance, eyes flicking up towards you in search of a final nod of assurance, which you gladly give to him.
He pushes into you slowly, almost too slow, allowing you to feel all of him, every vein and curve as he enters you. You hold your breath as you wait for him to enter you completely, the way you stretch around him familiar yet incredibly overstimulating in your current state.
"You okay?" He exhales
"Y-yeah, keep going, please." You assure, nodding quickly.
Joost finally bottoms out, lingering fully inside of you before pulling most of the way out just as painfully slow,
It takes a few strokes for Joost to build up a pace, but once he does he's leaning over you once more. You raise both of your palms to his shoulders, gripping onto them for a split moment before sliding them down to his chest, running your hands over the tuft of dirty blonde hairs.
With each careful thrust into you, your breathing becomes heavier, your brain foggier, purely overwhelmed with the pleasure that is Joost.
"I missed this," Joost groans, "Fuck," He curses, pointed and sharp, "-'m'I gonna have to go another month without you after this? Don't know if I can handle that."
Having already crossed such a line in your relationship with Michael, it seemed unnecessary to deprive yourself of continuing to see Joost in this capacity again.
"Mmno," You slur, "Can have this whenever you want, whenever you want. Every day even."
"Every day, baby?" He raises an eyebrow, "What's the matter? Michael can't make you cum like I do?"
"Or at all," You sigh,
"Oh," Joost's expression is suddenly pained, "Not at all?"
"Barely." You clarify, not quite sure of why the topic of Michael is even being brought up during sex.
Joost lowers his head to your jaw, pressing open mouth kisses to your skin. His tongue is wet and warm, it's soothing, the sensation making you exhale in pure bliss.
"Just using me to cum then, hm?" His question not entirely serious.
"Oh shut up," You giggle, "That's what my fingers are for."
Joost places another sloppy kiss to your jaw before speaking again,
"And I don't suppose you're thinking of Michael when you're doing that?"
"Not exact-ly," You admit, the inflection of your voice raising on the last syllable as Joost begins to thrust into you harder.
"Care to enlighten me on what you do think about?" His voice leads you to believe he's confident that he's the one you think about when trying to get off, and of course, he's right.
"This, right here," You admit, breathing labored with Joost's sharp thrusts. "You," You swallow down a moan, "Fucking me." You bite your lip, "And when I don't feel like faking an orgasm, I imagine its you fucking me instead of Michael."
"Fuck, liefje," Joost lets out a low groan, "Gonna make me cum right now saying shit like that to me."
"Well it's true," You respond innocently, "Never gonna find anyone else like you." And part of you never wants to, Joost such a unique part of your life you'd never want to replace, no matter how rocky things have a habit of becoming between you.
Both of you cease to speak, no more sly remarks to make to each other, rather your bedroom filled only by the borderline pornographic noises you and Joost made together. The filthy wet slapping that bounced off the walls with each thrust, you whispered moans, and Joost's strained grunts instead filling the dead air.
You slide your hands towards Joost's neck, pressing down with your palms, careful not to choke him out, only wanting to feel him under you.
Joost seems like he's struggling to keep pace, his arms wavering on either side of you, signaling he was probably getting close, you're not far behind, but you can't help be disappointed, wishing this moment could last forever.
At this point, Joost knew your body by memory, knowing just where to thrust and at what pace to have you squirming and whimpering under him. And he was putting that knowledge to plenty good use now, the sound of your moans getting louder, and more unruly with each roll of his hips forward was music to his ears.
You feel your muscles tighten once more, already aching and sore from your prior activities, yet you don't let the strain distract you from your building climax. You know you won't be able to last much longer, not with the perfect angle Joost thrusts into you at, so deep with each stroke, and so delicately brushing over your sensitive clit every time he pulls out and subsequently dips back into you.
You keep your eyes trained on Joost for stability, watching the way his face contorts with each perfect thrust forward. He's pretty, almost impossibly so, in a way that makes it hard to care how frequently he seemed to make a mess of your life- it was all worth it, just to see that pretty face above you like this.
"You're staring," He can barely laugh, too out of breath, though he tries. Joost had always been amused by your infatuation with him, and even more so he loved to watch how shy you got when he called you out on it.
Your skin is hot, and not just from the obvious physical activity, it's a warmth that radiates from inside of you, burning every nerve. You let your head fall to the side, a sheepish smile stuck on your lips.
"Don't shy away from me, I'd like to stare at you too." He whines, coaxing you to look back at him.
Your eyes reach his once again, and you notice how his lips part in a deep gasp, ready to speak
"I'm close," His eyes screwing shut for a moment, "Do you want me to pull out?"
He'd never asked before, it had never been a problem, knowing full well you were on the pill.
"Huh-" You huff, "No"
"Just making sure," He speaks through gritted teeth, "Don't wanna be knocked up with another man's baby."
"Oh be quiet," You scold, realizing how badly you choosing to do this with him while you were with Michael had Joost reeling, obviously getting off on it. Getting off on the fact for what felt like for once in his life, he was the better man, and that he was obviously irreplaceable in your life.
"Fuck, schatje," He grunts, "You okay if I cum now?" Not like there was much of a choice, he didn't really have control over that sort of thing,
"Please," You plead, wanting nothing more than to take him to completion.
With a few sharp thrusts, ones that so deliciously hit that perfect spot inside of you, ones that leave you yelping so loud you're sure the neighbors will hear, Joost is spilling into you. His warm release coats your walls.
The feeling makes you clench, Joost sucking in a sharp breath at the way you grip him with his lingering thrusts. His hips sputter forward, sharply ramming into you, this one final move enough to set off your own expectant orgasm.
"Joost!" Your hands leave his neck, flying down to the bed to grab the comforter below you, gripping it harshly between your fingers for stability. Your whole body is overwhelmed by pleasure, and you begin to loose control, legs shaking, body squirming, noises you couldn't even know you could make leaving your lips. You're a complete mess, probably looking more like you're having an exorcism than having sex. But you can't help yourself, it's all too much, and feels all too good. "I'm-" You can't even finish your sentence before the walls of your pussy begin to flutter, your own release spilling out of you, mixing with Joost's to paint his cock with his few final lazy strokes.
Once your orgasm finally rolls over you, Joost is collapsing onto your chest, the pair of you desperate to catch your breaths. You release your grip from the comforter, fingers sore are you flex them, loosing them from their tightened position.
You know the impending wave of guilt is bound to crash into you at any moment, but at least for now you feel nice, Joost's hot, sweaty body atop you is a comforting weight, despite the way it slows your breathing.
You wrap your arms around his back, his skin sticky with perspiration, but you don't mind the way it feels, only wanting to be close to him. He's not quite ready to pull out of you yet, and you're not ready to let him go, instead both of you opt to enjoy the moment, letting your shallow breaths fill the room with eyes shut tight.
You press a kiss to Joost's forehead, unable to stop yourself from the mildly romantic gesture. It's clear Joost doesn't mind, placing a kiss to your shoulder from where his head lies on you.
After a few more minutes of embracing like this, Joost slowly begins to peel himself off of you. You watch intently as he lifts himself up, hair in every which direction, eyelids low, face heavy with lingering pleasure. You want nothing more than to pull him back down on you and stay like that, but you really need to catch your breath.
Carefully, Joost begins to pull out of you, your eyes fluttering shut at the sensation, a strangled whine leaving your throat.
"Sorry," Joost apologizes, finally pulling out of you completely. The way you can feel his release spilling out of you, onto your thighs makes you wince, a filthy reminder of what you had done. Joost most definitely notices the look on your face, backing off of the bed, "Hold on, I'll clean you up."
You assume Joost had run off to the bathroom, coming back a few moments later with a towel, gently patting it between your thighs, careful not to overstimulate you further.
"Gonna go onto the balcony for a smoke" He says, standing back up to redress himself in his underwear, "Want me to close the door behind me so it doesn't get cold in here?"
"It's okay," You sigh, finally having the strength to sit up. Your abdomen and legs are sore, letting you know tomorrow will be a challenge, "Just means you'll have to cuddle me when you get back in."
"Perfectly okay with that," He chuckles before heading to open up to the small balcony on the other side of your room.
A small breeze enters the room as the doors open, and soon the scent of smoke follows. The chill makes you want to hide under the covers, but something is pulling you to go out there with him. You quickly get up from the bed, fighting the cold as you scramble to put on the shirt you had picked out before and a new pair of underwear.
The cold of the outside fully hits you as you step onto the balcony, but it's hard to mind with Joost half-naked in front of you.
"You want a smoke?" He asks
"No, I'm good." You shake your head, "Just wanted to-" Your voice is soft as you wrap your arms around Joost's torso. He's still so warm despite the weather outside. He wraps his free arm behind you, pulling you close to him.
"That's alright," He mumbles into your hair, pressing his lips to the crown of your head. You find comfort in the slow thump of your heart, and this way his chest rises and falls each time he takes a drag of his cigarette. You wish things with Joost could be like this all the time, though really you knew this was the calm before the next storm.
It's nice to pretend, though, at least for now. Pretend he's still your boyfriend, and that everything had worked out between the two of you like it should have.
"You alright, liefje? You're being nicer to me than usual." His slight laughter vibrates against your cheek from where it's pressed to your chest, making you snuggle into him.
You know he's joking but it makes you feel a little bad, knowing you can be harsh on him over the smallest things sometimes.
"I don't know," You sigh, overwhelmed with emotion once more, "I think that- I don't know." You repeat, "Confused."
"I am too."
"I'm sorry." You know it's your fault just as much as it is his.
"Me too."
"I think I still love you." You don't think, you know, but you feign like you're unsure to make it less real.
"Schatje," He coos, rubbing his hand over your back.
"Am I crazy to think you might still love me too?"
"Not at all." He presses another kiss to your head, "I know I love you too."
You dread the moment when you'll have to return back to real life, the reality where Joost is nothing more than an ex boyfriend, and you're with Michael- but for now things are good. Joost will wake you up with head in the morning, and after you'll go to that breakfast place you like around the corner, still in your pajamas. The two of you will sit next to each other in the booth, and hold hands under the table before heading home to share a shower together. And inevitably as the day grows later, one of you will make the smallest slip up, say one wrong thing, and you'll be at each others throats again, ending the day crying, finally ignoring each other until its time to repeat the cycle over again.
But that was a problem for tomorrow, right now you're in his arms, and he's telling you how much he still loves you, and you can pretend for just a moment, that maybe, just maybe things will change.
a/n: weeee i wasn't expecting this to get so long XD......... <3 but im so excited to finally get this out... mwah mwah <3... if you're feeling kind, leave a comment or a reblog to let me know what you think! thank you :3

In all honesty, I'm such a fan of the bakugo x aizawas daughter!reader series (if i can all it that)
I'm in NEED of new oneshots basically anything will do
AHH PLEASE TYSM @kitthefanfickat FOR REQUESTING THIS I LITERALLY LOVE ANY EXCUSE TO WRITE DADZAWA <33
Pt. 3 to loud blonde <3 (as for all of them could be read on its own as a standalone one shot.)
Pt. 1, pt. 2
Summery: y/n starts feeling really left out of her father's life, and her loud blonde boyfriend is there to comfort her and fix the pieces of her that have broken.
Warnings: swearing, angst, mommy issues!! Mentions of mental abuse snd neglect,
You loved your father, and you knew how much he did for you. But sometimes you couldn't help but feel left out of his life. Recently he's started spending the little free time he has training a kid in your general studies class.
Hitoshi Shinsou, you've talked to him on more than one occasion. You and him have a very similar personality, and in reality he kind of reminds you of your father. Which is why it makes sense that he took a liking to the kid. But fuck did you feel like shit.
You knew that your father loved you too, and that there wasn't anything that he wouldn't do for you. But you still, couldn't help but feel left out of his world. The world of being a hero, you suppose.
You've never once regretted your decision to not become a hero like your father. Maybe it was from your mother drilling it into your head as a child that hero's are bad, and you should never want to be one.
For the first 5 years of your life you were raised by a mother who simply did not care about you. Maybe she saw to much of your father in you to ever truly love you. She had left your father before you were born, as a child you fantasized about him coming to save you and take you away from your mother. But even as a child, you knew the chances were unlikely as the chances he knew you existed were very slim. Your mother would tell you that, all the time. She would constantly remind you that no one loved you, and nobody was coming to save you.
For a long time you couldn't come to terms with the truth that your mom was an awful person. You wanted to hate her but she was still your mother. No matter how much she neglected and manipulated you.
The day of your 5th birthday, your mother finally snapped. She hadn't been taking care of you in months, you were practically skin and bones. Your hair was in one huge mat.
As a child, most kids were excited for their birthdays. Not you, your birthday just reminded your mother more of 'mistake' she made by not getting rid of you. You woke up and made your way to the kitchen in hopes she would have made herself breakfast and you could steal whatever scraps ended up left.
You were lucky that morning that she did. Or so you thought, she had went to the couch to watch her show while she ate. And you saw this as the perfect opportunity to eat a little bit of the food she had left over, even if you couldn't have much it was better than nothing.
You quietly dragged a chair over to the stove and picked at the extra eggs and bacon lying in a pan. You thought your mother had been preoccupied, but she must have forgotten something, you didn't really know.
"WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING?" She screamed some how louder than she ever has at you before. You immediately burst into tears stuttering an apology over and over again.
"I was just so hungry mommy I'm so sorry- I- I won't do it again-" She looked at you with burning hatred as you begged for her forgiveness. You didn't understand what you had done to deserve this.
"Get the fuck out of my house." You sob even harder at this. You were just a kid where were you supposed to go.
"Mommy please-" you beg, you don't want to get kicked out. You just wanted her to love you.
"Get out. Now." She was unnaturally calm while saying this. You kept sobbing and sobbing as you stood on your tippy toes to reach the door handle. Suddenly you were no longer in that house, and surrounded by a cold uncaring world.
You don't know how, but you managed to make it to a police station. You knew that these people would help you. You just wanted to be saved, like the people your father helped. Why couldn't he help you.
You push the large doors open, not without struggle though. You see a pretty woman sitting at a desk in front of you with a kind smile.
"Hi honey, where are your parents?" Her comment makes the tears that had previously stopped come back even harder. No body had ever been that gentle with you.
"M-mommy kicked me out-" You sob and hiccup throughout the sentence and the lady gives you a look of pity. She quickly gets up from her desk and wraps you in her warm arms.
"You're safe now sweetie, you're safe." You shove your face into her chest and sob harder. Never having felt such loving touch. "Can you come with me honey? We just need to ask you some questions so we can figure out how to help you."
You look up at her and give her a small nod. You're brought back into an interrogation room, but the kind lady never leaves your side. She sits in the chair next to you asking if you need anything. She offers you a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.
"don't know what that is.." It's hard for you to admit, you really didn't know what anything was. It was a miracle that you had learned how to talk at all.
"It's a very yummy food, and it'll help you feel better." She adds the second part after heading your stomach grumble. You not giving her approval, "I'll be right back honey." She says this as she walks out of the door leaving you alone.
You pull your knees to your chest. You were so scared, you just wanted your mom to love you.
You wake up from the nightmare, if you could even really call it that. It was nothing but the truth, the harsh reality you had to face that your mom had abandoned you.
You hazily make you way out of bed, tears gently falling from your eyes. You make your way straight to your father's bedroom, it's a Saturday so he should still be in bed asleep. But he's not and an overwhelming panic sets onto you. You go and search the rest of the house hoping that he just woke up early today.
As you're searching you find a letter on the kitchen counter, and it reads
'Hi hun,
Left to do some training with Shinsou, I'm not sure when I'll be home. But if you want me to pick up food or anything on the way home just text me. Have a great day.
Love, Dad'
The letter only manages to make you sob harder. You just wanted your father, and he was just with another kid. With this thought, you started to spiral. With the thoughts that your father's going to leave you, just like your mother did. Maybe you should have become a hero, maybe he'd like you better. You start thinking of all the things you could've done wrong, all the things that could make him hate you like she did.
Eventually you start to recognize that you are not in the state of mind to be alone. But texting your father asking him to come home now seems like the scariest thing ever. So you settle on the next best person.
As soon as you had just simply said please he knew something was wrong. You never invited him over without telling your father. You respected your father to much for that.
As to his promise, Katsuki arrived 15 minutes later. He pounded on the door until you opened it; you weren't sure if it was because he was worried, or this was something he would always do if you didn't wait outside for him. But today you simply didn't have the energy.
You walk over the door quietly unlocking it before sitting back on the couch. Your boyfriend obviously hears you unlock it cause he's bursting through the door a second later. He scans the room looking for you and as his eyes land on your disheveled body, with tears still running down your face.
He gently wraps you in his arms, holding you as close as he can. "Talk to me doll what's goin on?" He just wants to know how to help you. The softness in his voice seems to only make you sob harder.
"He- he's gonna leave me- he's gonna leave- I'm not good enough he's gonna leave-" This only left Katsuki with more questions. Who was 'he'? It couldn't be your father would it? What would he have done to make you feel like this, Katsuki thinks he may kill your father if it was him.
"Who baby? I need to know so I can help you, I just want to help you." He gently rubs your back, the soothing motion help you to start sobbing a little less. But in the moment Katsuki thinks that any progress is good progress.
"My- my dad- he's gonna- he's gonna leave me just like she did-" Katsuki's suspicions are confirmed with this. It was about your father, and he could only assume the she was your mother. He knew a little bit of what had happened. He knew that you didn't have contact with your mother, but that was pretty much the extent to what you had told him. He really didn't know what to do, so he texted the one person who might.
"You good sensei? You look even more miserable than normal." Shinsou and Aizawa have always had a sort of playful banter while sparring. And even though they're on a water break they normally keep it going. And when Shinsou noticed that Aizawa was staring at his phone with his brows creased, of course he was gonna do some teasing.
"Sorry to call it quits early, but I have to go kid. Something's going on with my daughter." Aizawa is really panicking internally, wondering what he could have done to upset you. He doesn't know, he thought you had been fine. But obviously not.
"Oh you're all good, I didn't know you had a daughter Sensei." Shinsou was a little taken aback by that comment. Never having heard about this mysterious girl.
"Yeah.. have a good day Shinsou I'll see you Monday morning before classes."
"Alright see you then sensei, thank you." And with that Aizawa gets in his car has fast as he can. Thoughts racing, he just wants to know what's wrong with his daughter. What he did, so he can fix it.
He doesn't want you to feel like he's going to leave you like your mother did. He never would. He definitely speeds a bit on the way back to your guys apartment but honestly, he doesn't care. He just wants to hold his daughter and tell her that everything will be okay.
He quickly arrives at your guys apartment, due to the fact that it's not very far U.A. He rushes up the stairs to get to get to your apartment.
As he opens the door, he's greeted with the sight of you sobbing into Bakugou's chest. The boy looks up at him with a puzzled look on his face. This tells Shouta that he's made no progress figuring out what sparked this.
Quickly he makes his way to you and picks you up out of Bakugou's lap. The boy goes to resist it but he just sends a glare at him and the boy takes the hint. Allowing him to carefully cradle you to his chest, the way he would when you were upset as a child. This action causes you to only sob harder.
"I'm not leaving hun, I'm not going anywhere's. I'm not leaving." He just keeps repeating that he's not leaving you. And this manages to get you calm enough to form semi coherent sentences.
"Msorry- I was just being dramatic- I'm sorry-" you mumble this out with your face shoved into his chest.
"Honey, if you're this upset it's not dramatic I promise. I need you to tell me what's wrong hun, please. Let me fix this." With a sigh he holds you closer, he just wants to make you feel better.
"I just- I had a dream- more a nightmare I guess- of um- the day my mom you know- kicked me out- and then you weren't here.. and you've been spending so much time out of the house. And I know your training Shinsou and he's a nice kid and would make a good hero- but I don't know- I feel like he's taken up the little bit of time that we would spend together- it's stupid but part of me thinks you like him better because he wants to become a hero and I don't.." Once it starts to come out you just couldn't stop. You had told him everything you had been feeling. He looks at you with a look that makes it impossible to tell how he feels.
"I'm so sorry, kid. I should've thought about you would feel about this, but I need you to know nothing you could do could ever make me love you less, or love someone else more. I need you to know that I'm not going to leave you, not ever. I will not abandon you like she did. I promise I'll make extra effort to hang out with you, I'll call out of patrol tonight. Me and you, as well as Bakugou if you would like, can all hang out and have a movie night. Or whatever you want to do, anything to make you feel better. I'm so sorry." You start to cry again, but this time more of relief than anything. You had finally gotten the reassurance from him that you needed.
"Also hun, I don't care about you not becoming a hero, all I want is for you to be happy and do something you love. And I know analysis is that thing."
"Thank you dad.. but you um- you don't have to call out tonight I'll be fine."
"Nah it's alright, I'll just get Hizashi to cover and he'll do it no complaints." This causes you to giggle, you truly do love your father and Hizashi's relationship.
"I love you dad." You say this with a smile on your face looking up at him.
"I love you too kid."
The two of you sit in silence for a while before you're the one who breaks it. "I think that I want to try and contact her.." You whisper this not knowing how your father will feel about this.
"If you think that's what you need to do, then I'll support you 100%." The reassurance that he's not upset at the idea is comforting.
You notice that at some point your boyfriend had left. You figured that he just went outside, to the benches at the front of the building. Because you know that Katsuki would never leave you with out saying bye.
You spend the rest of the night sitting between your two favorite people feeling more content than you had in a while. And even though there was anxiety about trying to talk to your mother, you know that they would get you through it. And that was all the comfort you needed.
Okay so I definitely meant to finish my Shinsou x reader one shot before I finished this, but I got a little carried away when I started- soooo! Anyways I hope you enjoy! Happy reading <3

things weâve never said.
dominik mysterio x fem!reader
summary: you and dom have been friends for as long as you can remember, but when he begins to distance himself from you, everything falls apart. will you crumble under the weight of it all and confess your true feelings to him?
A/N: I could not come up with a good title for thiss.. đ also this is my first time ever writing on here so lmk how you guys feel about itt.
you and dom have been close friends since you were young. growing up with parents in the WWE, you and him would hang out whenever your parents brought you to work.
throughout the years the two of you remained close, the both of you following in your parents footsteps and becoming wwe wrestlers. you and him becoming inseparable, since you got drafted to raw.
even though he was in the judgment day, and you were making a name for yourself, you always found a way to support and be there for each other.
as time passed, it hit you that dom was gradually drifting from you. the post-show hangouts you both used to have were replaced by solo nights in your hotel room, binging your favorite show.
and you traded in your late-night waffle house trips for early morning trips to the hotel gym, trying to clear your mind.
while the friendship you shared with dom started to fade, his connection with rhea only grew stronger, leaving you to deal with your thoughts.
you could feel yourself fading into the background, witnessing all the moments that once belonged to you and dom now being shared with her instead.
avoiding both of them had become your new routine, yet there was only so much you could do when your job meant crossing paths every week, making escape almost impossible.
but you held your own. there were times youâd run into dominik but youâd just ignore him and pretend you didnât hear him.
you were doing your best to try and move on from the situation, but your attempts at ignoring reality only caused you pain.
when your paths would cross it was like your entire body was consumed in pain as you watched them be happy together even if it was just for a second.
you could try and hold yourself together all you want, but it felt like your heart was ripping apart every time you saw them.
you had been sitting backstage waiting for your time to go out to the ring, you had a match against becky lynch. you were just waiting for rhea to get done with her call out promo.
the air in the ring was tense from their ongoing feud, full of sharp words and taunts. you felt a twinge of nerves, not just for the match but because dom was always rhea's shadow, and tonight was no exception.
glancing at the screen, you saw rhea laying down her final words, with dom looming behind her like a puppy.
your leg instinctively started bouncing up and down, dreading the inevitable awkwardness that came with being anywhere near dom. It was just one of those things that made you wish you were anywhere else.
rhea's theme hit, and she strutted out of the ring, her and dom making their way backstage slowly, nibbling on your lip to find some calm. someone sat down in the seat next to you, but you were too wrapped up in your own head to notice.
a moment passed, then a familiar voice cut through, "hey, you okay?" you glanced over to find liv, a good friend of yours, looking at you with concern. you pulled yourself together and offered a small, convincing-enough smile.
âoh- yeah, I'm good," you responded, as much as you liked to think you had a good poker face you didnât. and liv saw right through you.
"if its about the match donât worry, youâll kill it." she said slowly, a touch of uncertainty in her tone. "but something tells me that's not it."
releasing a breath you hadn't noticed you were holding, you asked with a hint of humor, "Is it that obvious?" liv was clued in on everything; you two had become closer ever since you and dom stopped talking. she had become your ride-or-die.
she just shrugged and said, "no, I just know things." as you rolled your eyes with a smile. right then, a crew member gave the five-minute warning. you rose to get moving, but liv called out to you. "y/n/n."
turning to face her, "everything's gonna be okay." you gave her a soft smile and sent a playful kiss her way before heading to the curtains.
as you approached, rhea slipped through them holding her title over her shoulder without a glance your way. but when dom passed by, his gaze found yours.
In that quick moment, your heart skipped a beat, time seemed to stop, stretching the seconds out endlessly. a series of unspoken questions and unresolved issues hovered in the space between you two. that look between you two spoke more than words ever could.
it was the first direct eye contact you'd made with him in weeks. and just like that, it was over, the moment ending as quickly as it had arrived.
he passed by, his gaze leaving you and locking on rhea, and that strange, churning sensation in your belly returned. It was puzzling, a feeling you couldn't quite name.
suddenly, your theme rung out. you took a breath placing yourself in your confident persona, youâd walked out to the ramp beaming that confident grin with your arms wide, you soaked up the the cheers of the crowd washing over you like a wave.
you found yourself forgetting about everything, right now it wasnât about you. it was about your fans. and one thing you werenât going to do was let your personal life interfere with your job.
strutting down the ramp, you exchanged grins and nods with the fans, their excitement mirroring your own. slipping between the ropes, you blew the audience a kiss before sauntering to your designated corner.
crouching, anticipation tingling through you, you waited for the signal.
ding! ding! ding!
The bell's ringing sent your heart racingâit was go time. you and becky lunged at each other, each fighting for control, neither of you letting up.
becky dashed toward the ropes, bouncing off with momentum, but you were ready and landed a superkick right to her face. she stumbled backward, and you quickly went for the your finisher, a ripcord flatliner. as soon as beckyâs body hit the mat you pushed her shoulders down and went for the cover.
1! 2! 3!
your music echoed throughout the arena, signaling the end of the match. shifting off becky, you settled onto your knees, a cocky grin spreading across your face as you swept your hair back, basking in the applause. a quick swipe of your tongue over your teeth, and you rose to your feet, ready to soak it all in.
the referee walked up next to you, lifting your right hand high, the crowd's cheers roaring louder. when your hand eventually lowered, you took a moment to look around at the cheering fans before making your exit backstage.
as the curtain fell behind you, liv was there, her voice lilting with enthusiasm. "you did amazing!" she chirped, the melody of her praise ringing in your ears.
you grin was wide, a mix of relief lighting up your face. "thanks," you replied with a shrug. "how about grabbing drinks later?" you asked.
liv's expression was priceless, her mouth agape before she shot you a look that screamed, 'Is that even a question?'
"hell yea we should. want me to invite sam and nat?" she bounced back, her enthusiasm infectious.
you gave a nod, the exhaustion of the night seeping into your voice. "I donât mind.â you admitted, feeling exhausted. âI just really need a drink." you admitted.
liv wrapped you in a comforting hug, her hand soothing your back. "you've earned it," she whispered, pulling away only to hold your gaze. "i have to shoot a backstage promo now, so I'll catch you tonight, okay?"
with a nod, you exchanged goodbyes, each heading your separate ways. as you walked through the arena backstage to get to the locker room, the post-match adrenaline still coursing through your veins.
turning a corner you suddenly bumped into someone. you looked up to see dom, your heart picked up its pace. the two of you looking at each other, after a moment of no words and eye contact you had to get out of there.
you managed a strained smile, thoughts whirling as you sought an escape. "sorry," you mumbled, already sidestepping away.
but dom's hand clasped your forearm, halting you. you glanced from his eyes to where he touched you. his hold was gentle, yet insistent, something you hadnât felt in a while. It almost felt foreign to you. "wait, we need to talk," he said firmly, his gaze digging deep for an answer you weren't prepared to give.
the air thickened with his words, an unspoken acknowledgment that whatever was going on between the two of you couldnât be ignored forever
your expression hardened, as you withdrew your arm from his grasp. "not now dominik," you told him, abandoning the nickname you usually used when talking to him.
dom's face was a picture of tension, his jaw clenched tight. "then when?" he pressed, his words hitting you hard. "when's the right time gonna be? why have you been avoiding me?" you could hear the sincerity in his voice, the raw need for an answer lingering in the air.
the words hit you like a hurricane, leaving you momentarily frozen, brows knitted together. "don't pretend you care now," you spat out, the words sharper than intended, as you finally faced your tangled emotions head-on.
dom looked taken aback. "what are you talking about?" he retorted, his guard up.
"you've been distant for weeks, but obviously, you didn't notice because you're too wrapped up with rhea, right?"
"that's not true, Iâ"
your heart pounding as you locked eyes with dom. "noâI've been there for you through everything, and now you just push me away for them, for her," you said, the hurt in your voice unmistakable.
dom looked taken aback, his own anger subsiding as he realized the depth of your pain. "push you away? that's not what I'm trying to do," he protested, but you cut him off.
"but itâs exactly what you did! god I-" you looked away from him as your eyes filled with tears. you bit your lip hoping to stop. you didnât feel like crying in front of him.
the tears overwhelmed you, there were far to much that you couldnât hide it. as you blinked the tears escaped, you hastily wiped them. you looked at him. âyou pushed me away and it hurt-â you told him your voice breaking.
ây/n/n-â domâs features softened, you looked around trying to avoid looking at his eyes.
"and I hate feeling this way, and I wish I didnât care but I do. because I'm in love with you, dom. I have been for so long." your words hung heavy in the air, and your eyes welled up, the tears you'd fought to keep at bay now tracing hot paths down your cheeks. "this sort of thing was never meant to happen," you said your voice breaking, a sob catching in your throat.
dom's anger dissolved and his arms were around you in an instant. "hey, hey, don't cry, I hate it when you cry." your arms instinctively wrapped around him, as your tears fell silently.
the hug was a deep, tight one, like he was holding you as if you were the only thing keeping him standing. no words were spoken, but the tension in your body melted away as you leaned into him, his mere presence calming your racing heart.
the hug seemed to stretch on forever, dom's hand gently threading through your hair as you rested your head against his chest, tears falling silently.
eventually, he drew back, cupping your cheeks as he met your gaze with tenderness, brushing away your tears and moving your hair out of your face gently. he missed you. so god damn much.
"Iây/n/n..." dom's voice wavered as he looked into your eyes, his emotions laid bare for you to see.
after a moment of silence, he spoke softly. "i've been wanting to tell you... but was so afraid of losing you and messing things up. i just..."
"i..." he spoke up again but stopped himself mid-sentence. "i've been avoiding you... because of the way i feel. and i thought if i tried to hide it and put some distance between us, it would go away."
his eyes bore into yours, making sure you were taking in everything he was saying. "i was wrong." your heart seemed to stop, leaving you momentarily speechless as you struggled to find the right words.
"i'm in love with you," he said.
his words hung in the air, lingering in the space between the two of you. he continued, âi was an idiot, and i thought if i kept us away, i could just make these feelings go away. but when i finally had some time to actually think... i realized i've loved you all along, and I'm done pretending like we can just be friends."
"i've never looked at anyone else the way I look at you, y/n/n." he murmured, his touch gentle against your cheek. "being with you just feels so natural. i can't hide how i feel anymore. please," his voice quivered, the words barely making their way out, "let me make things right."
dom's hand gently cradled your jaw, tilting his head as he gazed into your eyes. "can I..." he started, his voice trailing off.
you nodded, your eyes flickering between his and his eyes and his lips. "yes."
his lips met yours in a tender kiss, the embrace deepening as you both became lost in the moment.
it was a moment you had yearned for, and as your hearts raced and time seemed to stand still, it felt like a dream come true.
dom pulled back after a moment, his lips trailing away from yours. you could tell he was still processing the moment, his breaths coming in quick and shallow spurts as he tried to regain his composure.
âiâve been wanting to do that for so long,â his eyes studying you as he took in every detail.
you smiled softly, feeling a warmth spread through your chest at his words. "me too." you admitted,
dom's eyes lit up at your confession, a grin spreading across his face. Without another word, he leaned in to capture your lips in another kiss, this one more confident and eager than the last. you melted into his embrace, feeling happiness wash over you.
dom rested his forehead against yours. "i don't want to wait any longer," he whispered, his voice filled with sincerity. "I want to be with you, in every way possible."
your smile widened, every moment, every obstacle, had led you to this point, and in that moment, it all felt worth it. "that's all I've ever wanted too," you replied, your voice filled with emotion.
dom smiled and engulfed you in a warm hug, lifting you off the ground and twirling you around. your joyful squeal filled the air as he gently set you down, peppering kisses on your lips that made you smile. "let's grab some food, I'm starving," he suggested.
"of course you are," you teased, playfully rolling your eyes at his mock-offended expression. he shook his head, then wrapped his arm around your shoulder as the two of you started walking.
the two of you reached catering, you noticed liv and natalya at a table and subtly intertwined your hands with dom's. "um, i'll catch up with you in a sec?" you said, releasing his hand to approach the table.
taking a seat, liv and natalya exchanged knowing glances as they looked at you with anticipation. "hey, girlie," natalya greeted with a playful smirk. "i'm ready for those drinks tonight!" she added, with a little shimmy that made liv burst into laughter.
as the excitement filled the air, you hesitated before breaking the news. "about that..." the two women turned their heads to look at you, their expressions shifting to curiosity. "sooo, how about we rain check on the drinks tonight?" you suggested, catching liv's curious gaze as you awaited their response.
"why?" she inquired, prompting you to glance back at dom, who was already heading towards the table. bracing yourself, you sat back as he casually draped his arm over your chair.
turning your attention from him to liv and natalya, who looked utterly shocked, you nervously chuckled. "yeah," you admitted.
"i told you!" liv exclaimed loudly, laughing and sharing a glance with natalya. confusion lingered as you and dom exchanged looks before refocusing on the two women in front of you. natalya shook her head, putting her head in her hands. "I told you," she muttered.
liv sprang up, doing a little dance with a bright smile on her face. "did you guys bet on us?" you asked, a hint of amusement in your voice.
liv stopped her dance, still beaming. "nope, just might've challenged natalya on when you two would make up," she revealed.
you rolled your eyes, laughing. "of course you did." you guys began talking about the upcoming pay-per-view event. focused in the conversation, you felt a sudden warmth as dom's hand found yours under the table.
glancing down at your intertwined hands resting on his lap, you couldn't help but smile at the sweet gesture. despite the subtle display of affection, you decided to refocus on listening to liv and natalya.
this is exactly where you wanted to be.

Clumsy II.
Marc Spector + Steven Grant x F! Reader. Next part to "Clumsy." (Or Already Over IV)
Tags & warnings. You already know the deal lol + Marc is still a jerk. (Sorry btw) This is the last part of the mini saga. :)
Word count. 2.9k
Summary.
I let you down, I've been clumsy with your heart again, I guess you figured me out, Now here's a taste of my own medicine. Caught at the end of the lifeline, The catch of a lifetime. Oh, we were destined for danger, Familiar strangers.
Everything you had done for the past 2 years had been for Steven, reaching the point of having him as motivation to get out of bed.
Unfortunately, this day was no different. If you had managed to muster the courage to stand up and accept Jake's unusual invitation, it was purely for him.
The part about choosing a nice dress was a personal choice, though.
"So, then"
"4 o'clock sounds perfect." His voice was soft on the other end of the line. Not quite like Steven's, but Jake's voice had something⊠special.
Something that could make your cheeks blush just by hearing it.
"4 o'clock at your apartment then."
"Steven is excited." The mention churned your stomach.
Truth be told, you had been on autopilot for quite a while, even before Jake made his proposal. There were small details that brought you back to reality, even if it was just for a few secondsâseconds in which you physically felt the consequences.
"I'll see you in a bit, Jake." You hung up. You couldn't set his expectations too high. This wasn't going to be a romantic reunion or your way of saying, 'Everything's okay, it was just a misunderstanding.' Instead, it was your way of bringing closure to things with Marc. If it weren't for Jake, he would still cling to the idea that he doesn't need you in his life.
Knowing that at least more than one person was on your side had given you the strength to face it, and to question whether maybe you weren't the one who was wrong in this situation.
"It won't be long, buddy." You told your cat as he nudged his nose towards you. He meowed back. "Take care of the house, okay?"
Marc had been inconsolable for about two weeks now, and the news of Jake's arrival weighed heavier on him than any of the three would have liked.
It was just another way of reminding himself how messed up he was. If getting used to Steven had been an ordeal, this would probably be World War II.
He would scream at himself in the mirror or break anything that could show his reflection, depending on his mood. Meanwhile, Steven felt like a weight had been lifted off his shoulders. He stopped being the one who took care of Marc, at least for a few days, and he had time to experience his grief as it should be.
Jake was compassionate towards both of them. He somehow understood what they were going through.
"I don't want her here!" He drank from his whiskey, savoring the burn in his throat.
It was 11 in the morning. His hand moved on its own, throwing the bottle to the ground, shattering it into a million pieces.
"Idiot," he growled.
Steven said nothing, only chuckled to himself at the mere idea that Marc probably looked insane.
He'd let him argue with Jake as much as he wanted.
"It's for your own good." It was the only thing he heard back in his head, and Marc had to put both hands over his face as a way to console himself. He was drunk, with a terrible headache, and a strong urge to give up on life, although lately, that was nothing out of the ordinary. "Give me the body."
He accepted it without protest, and even the strongest of the three groaned at the sudden dizziness and the awful state in which Marc always left the body whenever he had it in his possession.
He showered, cleaned up. Did everything the other two hadn't been doing during these sick days, even answered your call.
And when he was done, his leg trembled up and down as he stared at the clock on his wall, which showed the exact 23 minutes left until your arrival.
And despite being the most prepared of the three, he nearly jumped in fright when you knocked on his door. Exactly three times to let him know it was you, something he learned from your secret techniques with Steven.
When he opened the door, both of you exchanged smiles, which was unusual. Yours was nervous, shouting 'I'm glad to see you but I fear what might happen,' and his, on the other hand, seemed quite excited.
Even more so when you hugged each other as a way of greeting, even if the contact only lasted a few seconds.
"I'm glad you came," he whispered as he closed the door behind you.
"I told you I would."
"Yes, I⊠yes." He cleared his throat; he could feel the burn as if he was still drinking whiskey. "Come in, let's go to the bedroom."
You filled your lungs with oxygen, enjoying the scent of Steven before nodding slowly.
"Is Marc going to"
"Yes." He interrupted instantly, biting his lower lip as if he was hiding something. He directed you to his bedroom, although you already knew the paths within his house perfectly well. "I need you to listen to me and trust me."
You frowned.
"Huh?" You entered his room slowly. And he closed the door behind you.
Your expression became even more confused when you saw him lock the door.
"Sorry, there's no way he won't escape if I don't do this."
"Jake?"
"Sorry," he repeated, stepping back.
Forcing the switch between them was always uncomfortable, especially when he had to put in double the effort to get Marc out, as he clung to hiding. Unfortunately for him, Jake was stronger.
You noticed the change in his expression almost immediately. You would recognize that furrowed brow anywhere, and while it looked slightly puzzled, he didn't take long to place himself.
When his gaze settled on you, Marc could swear his heart stopped.
He had spent so much time dreaming of you that he completely forgot certain details about you that were undoubtedly better in person.
"Marc?" You whispered shyly, almost fearfully. You hadn't seen him since he cruelly broke up with you.
Your heart raced, even after all the damage he had done to you.
"I have to⊠Uh." The air got stuck in his lungs. After several seconds of staring at you, he averted his gaze, stumbling clumsily over his feet to the door.
He tried to open it but it didn't give way. Jake had done his job well. He gave it another tug and grew even more nervous.
"Marc!" You called for his attention, your brow furrowing. Barely 3 seconds together and you were already losing patience.
This wasn't going well.
"What?!"
"Stop it!" Finally, he looked at you, and in a matter of seconds, it seemed like his eyes had welled up with fear. Did he fear you? You, who had to tilt your chin up to look him in the face because he was noticeably taller than you. "Stop it." You repeated, this time in a low tone.
"I don't want to talk to you, I won't."
Ouch.
"Either that or you'll have to break down the door, and Steven won'tâŠ"
"Steven doesn't even talk to me!" The sudden way he raised his voice made you jump slightly, and you pressed your lips together at the news.
Would it be wrong to admit that this was something you were expecting? You remained silent for a few seconds, and you swore you could hear his ragged breathing, as if he had the right to be angry with you.
"Jake won't let you out unless we do this now." You cleared your throat as you crossed your arms over your chest.
He cursed internally at how adorable you looked in that gesture.
"You and I have nothing left to talk about."
His words sent a wave of heat through your whole body.
"What did you say, Marc?"
"That you and I doâŠ"
"You're an idiot," you whispered with a sarcastic laugh, and he finally fell silent. It had been so long since his ego had been hurt that he almost felt good about the slight pain in his chest. "You hurt me. Like no one ever did before."
He fell silent, waiting for you to continue, but he didn't let his guard down. You could see it in his irritated expression.
âYou blamed me for⊠You blamed me for loving Steven. You let me live with the burden of thinking that I had destroyed your life.â
"You did." He whispered. It was visible how tense his body was, and you laughed sarcastically again at his words.
"Don't give me that, Marc Spector." You spat his name out with resentment. It was the first time you allowed yourself to be angry with him after forcing empathy for him for so long. "You got what you wanted. Layla? Your life made out of lies? Pushing Steven away from you?"
His expression finally wavered, even if it was only for a few seconds.
"Layla left me."
The news hit you like a bucket of cold water.
That made everything make more sense. The sudden appearance of Jake, his insistence on you talking to them, coming back. They were using you as a second option now that they had nothing left, trying to get you back as if nothing happened.
After all, you had always been the foolish one at Marc's service, willing to give up everything for him whenever he asked.
This wouldn't be one of those times.
You gathered all the strength you had in your small body to push him with both hands. He barely stepped back, stumbling in surprise at your sudden attempt to attack.
"I hate you!" Your voice broke.
His heart raced as if he had run a marathon, yet he didn't say anything.
"I hate you, Marc!" You sobbed, giving him another push. This time he didn't even move.
He stood still, and his hands trembled.
"Why are you doing this to me?" You were still the only one speaking. You sounded devastated, even more so than the day when you almost begged him for a chance. "Why?"
And, as usual, you got no answer. In fact, you got nothing; Marc wasn't even looking at you.
The truth was, despite having to deal with Steven and Layla telling him these kinds of things, coming from you was⊠worse. It was like a doubly more horrible shock therapy. The pain in your voice was something he had never heard before, and the truth was, he never wanted to hear it again.
You were choking him without even laying your hands on him. The words wouldn't come out, and his feet were rooted to the ground; he couldn't even look at you.
"You're killing me, Marc." You whispered as if the strength had left you. After receiving nothing from him, you knew it wasn't worth fighting, not with him. "You don't want to be with me." Admitting it aloud left a bitter taste in your mouth. "But you won't let me go. Don't you realize what you're doing?"
It was you, as usual, who crouched down. You sought his gaze, regardless of the mess you were in.
He looked back at you, and you waited.
You waited, and you waited.
When time passed, you knew what his answer was. Marc would never take a risk, or at least he wouldn't do it for you. He was too stubborn, and you doubted that he would ever lower his eternal guard.
The day Steven begged on his knees not to leave hurt, but somehow it was worse to receive silence from Marc. Knowing how little you mattered to him based on his actions.
"I understand," you whispered, wiping your tears with the back of your thumb. "Jake? Can you let me out?"
You reached out to grab the door handle, and he grabbed your wrist.
"Let go of me."
It sounded like a threat.
He, once again, didn't respond; he tugged on your wrist and almost made you let out a shriek as you collided with his chest.
Marc was so quick that you didn't even have a chance to react when his free hand positioned itself on your chin, pressing it between his fingers and holding it firmly.
Yet, you didn't protest; you let him guide you until his lips met yours. There was your answer.
When they finally kissed, tears welled up in your eyes again. In fact, you suddenly felt like you were drowning against his mouth, as if you wanted to groan but refused to break the contact between you two.
"I hate you," you said with difficulty against his mouth, trying to convince yourself of what you had said. He just made a small 'hmm' sound against your lips.
Apparently, neither of you trusted your words.
He let go of your wrist when he made sure you no longer wanted to touch the doorknob, but he continued to hold your chin. Eventually, he also took you by the waist and brought you even closer if that was possible.
His kisses were rough, so forceful that for a moment you doubted this body was the same as that of your ex-partner. Steven had never been like this. You also wondered if this was just a result of pain and desperation, or if his kisses were always like this.
With just two steps, your body was squeezed between his and the wall.
"I love you."
Your stomach turned.
"I love you." His kisses didn't allow you to respond. You wouldn't know this, but his fear wouldn't allow him to hear what you might say about it. "I love you." His fingers tightened their grip on your chin. "I love you." He sounded desperate. In pain.
You responded to each of his kisses, and you noticed that he needed a few more seconds to find calm.
"She left me because she knows I love you." He said quickly when he finally gave you a chance to breathe. His forehead rested against yours, and those big brown eyes were fixed on you. "S-She knows⊠She realized thatâŠ" He stammered. There was nothing more horrible for Marc Spector than expressing his feelings, giving explanations. "S-SheâŠâ
You were worth it.
You were worth throwing his pride to the wind.
"You took my heart when you left. You took everything." He admitted in a whisper and didn't receive an answer by his own choice.
He kissed you again as if his life was slipping through his fingers.
You didn't talk for the rest of the afternoon. You received all the kisses he had to give, and he allowed himself to feel your delicate hands on him. Massaging his shoulders at times or stroking his curls as you used to do for Steven.
His heart skipped a beat when he realized that you were doing it for him this time. You were taking care of him.
"Did you miss me?" His voice was so sweet that even with your face flushed from crying, you managed to smile.
Everything was so easy with Steven.
"I already told you I did." You laughed like a little girl who was recovering from a scolding or perhaps a tantrum. You even felt lightheaded, just like in many childhood instances when you had cried until your throat begged for a break.
"How much?" His fingers traced your waist, and you sighed at the familiarity of the sensation.
"With all my heart."
His eyes lit up at your words. Poor Steven had been through so much that he could swear this was a mirage or an illusion from his brain. There was no way you were really there in front of him.
As beautiful as ever.
"I bet I missed you more." You laughed again, specifically because you knew he meant it. You missed that smile so much that you decided to agree with him. You placed a hand on his cheek and nodded.
"I bet you did, love."
Steven could have burst with happiness right then and there.
"I have to go home, Steven." You spoke again, your thumb gently pressed against his cheek, right where his smile ended.
The news hit him hard. So much that you almost wanted to laugh.
He was terrified that you wouldn't come back, that you would consider this just a momentary mistake and nothing more.
"B-But IâŠ"
"Sekhmet is alone." You corrected him with a slight smile, trying to give him the confidence he seemed to urgently need.
He nodded silently, looking like a sad puppy.
"Do you want to come with me?" Ah, there it was. His eyes were on you again as if he couldn't believe your offer.
No wonder you had never doubted Steven's love. The guy looked at you as if you were the most beautiful thing his eyes had ever seen, even after everything that had happened, not to mention the 300 times he had apologized to you for something he hadn't done.
"Can I, love?"
"You can spend the night there."
Silence. Seconds of silence before he nodded so quickly that his curls fell onto his face, making you laugh.
A genuine laughter that lit up your entire face, much like the one he had caused on your last date when he lifted you up in his arms and Sekhmet entered their lives.
Steven felt his heart skip a beat and his cheeks turn rosy.
"Let's go!" He gave you a little nudge, and you laughed again. "Jake can drive."

Twice - reaction to s/o saying they want to have their first time with them
Jihyo
Being a woman who does not waste time, she wouldn't hesitate to just pull you towards her and kiss you with more passion than you'd ever felt before. You would pull away, a look of shock on your face, and all she did was smile teasingly at the way your mouth was hanging open.
You had gone out with Jihyo on your day off. She had planned for you two to have a day you'd spend together, all alone. First she took you shopping, eager to show you all of the dresses in the fitting room and hearing your opinions.
Then she took you to the cinema, where she let you pick whatever movie you wanted. Slowly, you started to see her in a new light that you hadn't previously done.
Whenever you tried to pay for anything during the day, she'd hurry to press her card against the reader and then flash you a big grin, saying, '' My treat, hun. ''
It made your heart beat faster. Had she always been so nice?
When you arrived home, she started unpacking the food on the table and made it very nice with romantic candles and flowers. You watched her in silence, your gaze softening as you took her in.
She looked so beautiful today, even more than usual. She had a radiant glow on her cheeks, and suddenly you felt very guilty that you had rejected going out with her so many times.
At that moment, you couldn't see her toxic side anymore. You saw someone who was warm, giving, full of life and love. Your eyes traveled down after inspecting her face and you caught yourself blushing when you noticed that her skirt had ridden up a bit.
'' Are you okay? Why aren't you eating? ''
You snapped back to reality and tried your best to look normal. You straightened yourself and smiled shyly, coming up with a lie.
'' I was waiting for you. ''
At this, she hurried to sit down and started eating so you would do the same. But, you couldn't swallow a single bite of food, your mouth felt dry and your thoughts kept being invaded by the wrong things.
'' Are you sure you're okay? ''
She came over to sit on the edge of the table and lightly brushed the hair out of your face. It was the worst thing she could've done, you knew if you spoke you'd come off as a nervous, stuttering mess.
You nodded, swallowing harshly. Slowly you were able to muster up the courage to look at her. A certain boldness came over you.
'' I...want you. ''
Silence fell over the room. Her eyes widened and her smile faded. You thought you had offended her for a moment and were just about to profusely apologize when she pressed her lips against yours so hard that you forgot what you were going to say.
Nayeon
Although she had happily waited patiently for a long time, she froze once you finally said what she'd been wanting you to.
She nodded, '' Soon, baby. ''
You'd be just as confused as she was deep down. It was strange. Wasn't this what she wanted?
Time passed and it was your turn to give her space until she was ready.
After a week or so, during which your relationship was quite awkward, she finally figured out why. You were watching a movie with her when a steamy scene came up. Shyly, you two only half-watched it but afterward, you said under your breath while laughing, '' That was hot.''
She almost let out a gasp when she realized - she was nervous! Nayeon turned away from you and bit her lip. She wanted it to be perfect and was terrified of leaving you disappointed.
She almost felt like a loser when she went to all her friends for advice and browsed the internet to find answers and solutions.
'' y/n? ''
You rose from the chair you'd been sitting on and followed the soft voice calling for you. Rounding the corner, you were met with the sight of your girlfriend sitting by the vanity.
She was doing her makeup, and you both smiled when your eyes caught in the mirror. You went up to stand behind her, prompting her to take a deep breath and close her eyes before she looked at you.
'' I'm ready, '' she turned to look over her shoulder so you were face to face.
You frowned. '' What do you mean? ''
Her hand immediately moved to your waist, curling around it and then pulling you closer. She didn't say a word, she didn't need to, her eyes dark with lust wandering all over your figure told you everything.
Jeongyeon
'' I want you ''
You cringed at your sudden boldness and looked away, but when you felt ready to face her again, her reaction was something you hadn't expected.
'' To what? '' she blinked, utter confusion plastered on her face.
The words - to fuck you, echoed in your head but you weren't sure you could ever say that out loud.
You felt extremely embarrassed and snuck away to avoid having to explain it to her. A few minutes later, she popped into your shared bedroom.
You internally groaned when she came to you, sitting as close as possible on the double bed, and you could tell she was going to ask you what you meant.
But as always, she caught you off guard again when her lips curved into a smug smile.
'' Sorry, I knew your embarrassment would be adorable. ''
You hit her arm and gasped, '' You knew! ''
She shrugged and looked away, the smile not leaving her face as she was having the time of her life teasing you right now.
'' Oh! '' you squealed and fell back against the bed so you could roll over and hide your face in the pillows.
She laughed.
The bed moved as she shifted around to lay next to you. Stubbornly, you refused to look at her, so she did the thing she knew would get your attention.
A cold hand hovered over the small of your back; fingertips grazing it as if it was barely there, but it was still enough to make you curl your body, chills running down your spine.
It took everything in you not to turn over and throw yourself at her, all that showed signs of this was a shaky exhale that made her snicker.
'' Are you done yet? Having your little temper tantrum? '' her mocking somehow made jolts shoot inside your body again.
She sighed when you didn't respond and she leaned in closer, her warm whisper tickling your ear, '' I'm waiting for you. ''
Momo
You were making out like you regularly did, when you pulled back and Momo could tell that something in your eyes was different that night.
You took her hand and led it down your body which almost made her tremble with excitement.
'' Are you sure? '' she mumbled several times, still drunk from your kisses.
You nodded, and as she got closer and closer to reaching in between your legs, her smirk grew wider. Right before doing so, she stopped and pulled away. You could only watch in astonishment when she looked to see if you were following her to the bedroom.
You looked dumbstruck, making her giggle. You felt your whole body beg of desperation so naturally you followed her, almost with some eagerness to your step.
Instead of getting on the bed, like you expected, Momo sat down in the chair in the corner of the room. You adjusted quickly and came over to her, but she pushed you away by the shoulder.
'' What- ''
'' Get on the bed, and take off your clothes, '' she demanded, her tone shifting to sternness.
You obeyed, still feeling a bit confused, and even more so when you were done and she wasn't moving from her chair.
'' Babe? '' you sounded small, and almost cursed yourself right then and there for playing into her hand.
This must've been what she wanted all along when she was so overly possessive and passionate in the beginning, to control you and then humiliate you once she had you.
Your face soured and you got up, eyes shooting daggers at her. Just before you had turned your back on her, she spoke up, amusement lilting her voice.
'' I want you to do what you usually do when you think I'm asleep. ''
Her words were cryptic but they sent a wave of shock over you, because you knew exactly what she meant. You turned back to her and saw that she was watching you.
You crawled back on the bed again and did what she asked while she looked very pleased. She had meant all those nights you had touched yourself while you thought she was sleeping - now she wanted you to show her what she had missed out on.
Sana
You whispered it into her ear while you were out drinking with other people. Expecting her to blush and lose her composure, you did it while everyone was standing up and giving a toast.
The corners of her mouth tugged upwards in a small smile, and she only turned her head towards you while her eyes remained on the birthday girl; as if to say, I don't have time for this now.
If it weren't for the smile on her lips, you would've felt offended, but you knew she was toying with you a little.
'' Tonight, my love, '' Sana tenderly said, leaving you gushing at her for the rest of the evening.
She proudly claimed you by holding your hand in front of everyone and didn't care that the two of you got looks when you went away in a taxi together.
Back at the apartment, she made you wait in the lobby while she ran upstairs. It took so long that you began to doze off for a bit, and that's how she found you in the lobby too.
A look of adornment struck across her features. She brought a hand up and shook you gently until you woke up.
'' Hey. You fell asleep. ''
You yawned and took a few seconds to rub the sleepiness off and when it did, everything hit you again. With some hesitance, you looked at Sana to see if she also remembered or if she'd been drunk.
She took your hand and then led you up to her apartment where candles and flowers awaited you, paired with the delicious scent of freshly cooked dinner.
You gasped when you saw it was your favorite food and smiled in secret, looking at her full of love when she showed you around.
Once the tour was over and you had gotten your bouquet of flowers, you sat down together at the table. The tension rose the longer the dinner dragged on, you both knowing what was waiting afterward.
Mina
She flinched when your hand snaked around her waist while you were making out with her. When you pulled away to apologize and ask what was wrong, you were met with a cold, emotionless face.
Then she slipped away from your arms completely and stayed in her room for the rest of the day. That night in bed was awkward, you laid next to her and didn't get any reaction or response, therefore, you cried yourself to sleep.
The guilt was killing you the next day and you couldn't let it go on any further. Gently you tapped her shoulder as she was making food in the kitchen.
She had dark circles under her eyes; her usual flawless appearance looked a bit disheveled. Your stomach flipped. Did she not sleep because of you?
'' Are you okay? You ignored me yesterday...did I- did I do something wrong? ''
A few seconds of silence passed, making you feel like dying. The long pause made you dread her answer even more, feeling like the obvious reply would be ' yes '.
But she surprised you by shaking her head, a half-smile appearing on her lips for a moment. Then you saw something else on her face, something she tried to hide by looking away.
'' I was...nervous, '' she admitted with a sigh.
Nervous? You had never seen your girlfriend be nervous or lose control like that. She was always quite hard on herself and had impossible standards.
You gave her a knowing look and instantly felt yourself relax. That must've been why she reacted the way she did, she felt embarrassed that you saw her like that.
A small part wanted to take the opportunity to tease her, she looked so adorable with her eyes flickering on everything but you; her usual confident gaze wavering.
Instead, you took her hand into yours and made her look at you.
'' It's okay, '' you softly whispered.
She still looked doubtful, but when you brought your hand up to her cheek, she melted visibly, unable to control herself again which made both of you laugh.
'' Come on, '' she ran ahead again just like she had yesterday, only this time she had a mischievous glint in her eyes.
Dahyun
The thought had come into your mind before and even more so recently. It was like something had shifted in the air. You went from having no interest in your girlfriend to finding that she had a glow around her - suddenly she was the most beautiful person you had ever seen.
When her kisses started trailing down your neck one night, the words left your lips before you could stop them. '' Please. ''
Her movements froze for a second, a breathy scoff slipping past her lips before she continued. You tried to fight against the tingles you felt inside, and even more so when you turned your head and saw that she was watching you intently, loving every reaction.
You pulled away, already feeling your body stiffening in awkwardness. Dahyun, however, knew exactly why you had pulled away. With a playful smile, she turned you back to her, kissed you passionately, and then surprised you by lifting you up on the kitchen counter.
You almost moaned and then bit your lip to stifle it quickly. The smile hadn't left her face, and it was turning more smug by the minute.
She let a hand rest on your thigh. '' Say that again. ''
You swore internally. She was making you choose between your dignity, to beg for her again, or to keep quiet, full of frustration. Your eyes flitted nervously from her to the ground as you tried to make up your mind.
You were fighting with yourself silently, while she watched on with the level of amusement a child would have if they went to the movies. Her lips were quirked upwards, never going down even for just a second, and her eyes were scared to leave you, sure she'd miss something if they did.
'' Well, '' she said drawly, '' have you made up your mind? ''
You held back on answering, but you both knew what you'd say in the end.
Chaeyoung
You asked her outright one day in the dark while the two of you were laying in bed, ready to go to sleep.
Her silence after your question about why you hadn't had sex yet, left her speechless and she took some time to gather her thoughts and respond to you. You thought that she was ignoring you or that she had fallen asleep, so defeatedly you rolled over on your side.
But then her soft voice spoke. She sounded very unsure of what to say despite taking so long to answer; like she could never have enough time to find the right words, and you found it adorable.
She was usually so cool and confident, seeing her like this was different.
'' I- well, I wasn't sure if you wanted that...I wanted to wait, to make sure that you did, '' she said, her voice having a faint hint of shakiness to it.
'' I thought that you weren't attracted to me, '' you earnestly confessed.
That broke her heart. The sheets ruffled as she turned towards you so she could see you. She hesitated and then gently started stroking your hair.
'' I'm sorry. I had no idea you felt that way, '' then she added like a scolding mom, '' you should've told me. ''
'' I'm sorry, '' you mumbled in the dark.
'' I would hate to make you feel like that, ever. ''
You didn't know what to say, several times your mouth opened but nothing came out. It was like you just couldn't say what you wanted to, so instead you spoke in another way.
Chaeyoung almost flinched when she felt your cold hand on her arm. She was thankful for the dark hiding her sudden shyness when you climbed on top of her and leaned down to kiss her.
'' I love you, '' you said in between kisses.
She kissed you back with a hint of desperation.
'' I love you more, '' she laughed and in one swift movement she flipped you over so you were under her instead.
The air was knocked out of you, and now it was your turn to be shy. You knew what kind of night was ahead of you after all.
Tzuyu
You had come close several times, in more ways than one. But it seemed that whenever the two of you were deeply lost in each other, and your hands wandered all over, something would interrupt it - there was never a perfect time to do it.
Months had passed so it almost became a bit of a joke in your relationship. Any time you started making out, your eyes always watched the door. Either your mom barged in, or your friends, Tzuyu's friends, or people from her company and you jumped away from her while she tried to respond to whoever came in. You were always too flustered to respond, Tzuyu liked teasing you about your rosy cheeks afterward.
One night, she took you completely by surprise. Just as she was stumbling towards the door while her lips occasionally, hungrily attached to yours again; the door opened and instead of stopping like usual, she pulled her friend in and then locked the door.
Her friend Nayeon, just stared at you both, eyes widening the more her gaze traveled over the state of you and she put two and two together.
'' Oh, I'm so sorry! '' she squeaked, '' I was just gonna pick something up. ''
You squirmed when your girlfriend leaned in and whispered in your ear, '' Do you want her to join us? ''
You stared at her, shock written all over your face. Your mouth fell open and she took the opportunity to shove her tongue in, right in front of Nayeon.
When she pulled away, you could feel how much you were blushing just by the heat on your cheeks. Automatically, your eyes fell on Nayeon again.
Unexpectedly, something arose in you when you did so. You had expected to feel extremely humiliated and to turn down Tzuyu's offer, but before you could stop yourself you mumbled dazily in her direction, '' Yes, please. ''

happy new year {peter parker}
part one here
plot: after your ex peter leaves you a card on christmas, you go visit him.
character: peter parker x female character
note: i love emotional, touch starved peter parker
It had been almost a week since Peter had left the card on your fire escape and you'd not reached out in any way shape or form despite Peter's hopes and wishes. He took that as the final nail in the coffin. You had completely moved on so it was time he did too.
He had just finished his second patrol of the day and was coming back to Aunt May's for some lunch when his enhanced hearing could hear muffled voices and laughter coming from Aunt May's home. Someone else was here. Peter frowned. Aunt May hadn't mentioned anyone else coming over today. He shrugged it off, maybe just a neighbour coming to wish her a happy new year.
He pulled the mask off, shoving it into his hoodie's pocket - he liked doing his patrols with a hoodie and sweatpants over it to keep the winter chill of New York away - and opened the door. The voices were louder but still muffled, he couldn't tell who it was.
He dropped his backpack by the door and walked into the kitchen where the voices were coming from. Peter was expecting a neighbour - Mr Jenkins or Anita from across the street - he certainly hadn't been expecting the person who was sitting across the kitchen table from Aunt May.
It was you.
Everything seemed to stop, time slowed right down and all Peter could do was stare at you with an expression with resembled that of seeing a ghost. He was acutely aware of his heartbeat, hammering loudly in his chest, ears ringing as your head rose to look at him. Your smile faltered for the briefest of moments as Aunt May stood, re-introducing the two of you after all this time. Your lips moved but he couldn't hear over the ringing in his ears.
It took a solid ten seconds for Peter to come back to reality. He opened his mouth, closed it and then opened it again. He hadn't prepared for this. He wasn't prepared to encounter you again. He thought that this chapter was done, closed and finished... But you were standing in his Aunt's kitchen.
"Hey, Peter," you said gently. God, he wanted to fall to his knees with the way you said his name. One word, two syllables and he would've killed for you if you asked him to.
Aunt May saw his surprise and half stepped in front of you, almost shielding him from you so that he could regain some form of composure, "(y/n) wasn't sure where your new apartment was, Peter, so she came here. She brought some delicious scones as a new year's gift." Her eyes were aglow with excitement, she had hoped the two of you would find your way back to each other and maybe this was that connection finally happening like it should've stayed.
"Uh," Peter nodded to his Aunt May, silently telling her that was he was okay and she moved out of the way. Peter took a deep breath. You looked perfect. He'd seen you a week ago, Christmas Eve, but right now it was like he was seeing you for the first time. Your hair was loose and bouncy, your cheeks slightly rosy from the winter chill, your eyes wide and smiling at him with a slightly unsure expression, "Hi." All it took was that one word and he saw you visibly relax, saw your shoulders fall and saw a flash of relief on your face.
Aunt May quickly thought of an excuse to leave and left the two of you in the kitchen with so much tension hanging in the air between the two of you, "How-"
"I'm sorry-" you blurted out.
Peter frowned, "What?"
"- for just showing up. I-I went to your apartment - your old apartment - the woman that lives there didn't have a forwarding address for you and she wasn't all very pleasant at all-" Peter smiled slightly at your nervous rambling, "-and I knew where Aunt May lived and I had to talk to you so I just came here. I didn't think to call because- I don't actually know. I-"
"Hey," his voice was so soft and gentle, "it's fine." There was a moment's pause and he continued, "I moved about six months ago. Needed a change." The apartment was full of the ghost of you. "Few blocks away from my old apartment. Nicer. Rent is horrendous though." This made you crack a smile.
Again, silence fell. It was awkward. You had come here prepared to tell him what you needed to tell him and now, standing in front of him... you were too scared. He looked good. Tired but good. He had grown his beard out which was nice, you always loved him with a beard. It suited him. His chocolate eyes were just as warm but there was a sadness surrounding him again, like when you first met him.
"Do you want to go for a walk?" He asked quietly.
You nodded immediately, "Sounds good."
The snow fell slowly, floating down to the ground as you and Peter walked. Neither of you spoke but it was a little more comfortable being out in the open with the sounds of New York around the two of you.
Anxiously, your fingernails dug into your skin. Just tell him, (y/n). You came all this way to chicken out?! You took a breath but Peter beat you to the chase.
"I'm sorry if I overstepped by coming to your apartment," he said sincerely, "I-I know that's why you're here so scream at me if you want, I just... I deserve it." You frowned, confused, "Aunt May had told me she bumped into you and you were with someone and you were happy... I... I got jealous but I shouldn't have done what I did."
"Pete," you said with a shake of the head, "I mean, yeah, you overstepped the mark. It was completely and wildly inappropriate and almost kind of creepy?" You took a second to pick your words, "But you made me kind of snap out of the auto pilot mode I was in."
It was Peter's turn to be confused.
"Jasper... He was great. He's someone Rachel set me up with a few months ago and yeah, he was fun but..." He wasn't you, "it wasn't going to work out. We wanted different things."
You cleared your throat, refusing to look at him and instead looked away from him watching the snow fall, "Wait... you broke up?" You nodded, again not looking at Peter. Embers of hope began to burn a little brighter in his stomach, "Oh."
"He knew about you, you know," you said quietly and had Peter not had enhanced hearing he wouldn't have heard your next few sentences, "He knew he had no chance competing against you even though you weren't trying until last week. He knew that I still loved you."
Peter's face softened and he slowed down with you. He stretched his hand out to take yours but hesitated and his hand fell. For a moment, the two of you stood - you with your back turned and Peter with the most forlorn expression.
"I really tried to get over you, Pete. I really tried." You sniffed, wiping tears away before they could fall. You turned to him, seeing his own eyes welling with tears, "It wasn't your fault, Peter."
His head fell back onto his shoulders as he closed his eyes, tears mixing with wet snow as he exhaled a long breath. For over a year, he harboured the guilt of your accident. It was because of him; who he was. You got hurt and he hated himself for it.
Your hands clasped his cheeks and Peter gasped. He was so touch starved, he hadn't realised that another person hadn't touched him besides Aunt May in a year. You pulled his head away from the sky to look down at you, "You hear me?" You were crying, "What happened to me, it wasn't your fault. I don't blame you, Peter, I never have and I'm so sorry that I couldn't help you last year. I'm so sorry you've held onto this all this time."
He opened his eyes, staring at you again for what felt like the first time, "I didn't mean for you to get hurt."
"I know that," you let out a sob, "Peter, everything you've ever done is to protect me! Had it not been for you, I would've died. You webbed my wounds and took me hospital immediately, you saved me."
"But-"
"You saved me, Peter. None of it was your fault. I do not blame you. Please, please stop blaming yourself."
You pressed a gentle kiss to his forehead, pulling him down so you could plant the kiss on him. Then one on his wet nose. Despite the cold, Peter's body was on fire at your touch. This was what he'd been craving for a full year. You.
"You better stop," his voice was thick, "cause if you let me kiss you, I'm never gonna let you go again."
You smiled widely, pressing your foreheads together, "I'm not gonna leave again so by all means..."
He didn't need to be told twice. His lips were on yours in a flash, hot and cold, melding together like pieces of a jigsaw puzzle. He still tasted the same; chocolate, coffee and peppermint. His hands pulled you in, not hesitant anymore but confident and knowing. He pulled you flush against him as he kissed you, a hand weaving into your hair as the other wrapped around your back. God you missed him. And for a moment, just for a moment, everything in the world was good and everything was right.
What a way to start the year.

BRAT PACK
This wasn't how it was supposed to be.
Mia Green was rich, pretty, popular and feared. She hadn't always been, but she was now and she had no intention of ever going back to her humble beginnings. From her expensive manicured fingernails, up to her perfect hair and down to her pedicured toes - she was every inch a bitch.
Bitches like her weren't supposed to end up with their hands and legs tied up in their own bedrooms after being ambushed by some fucking nobody nerd. This wasn't part of the plan.
"You ready to lose everything bitch?" smiled Violet as she watched Mia fight helplessly against the ropes keeping her tied. Pulling out a cigarette lighter, she clicked it to show the flame worked and with a satisfied smirk picked up an innocent looking hip pack from the bed.
She'd thought she'd be scared and terrified of this situation, but Violet was excited to finally get into the room of her hated enemy and destroy the source of her powers. Mia meanwhile was the terrifed one, she was about to lose EVERYTHING.
Violet brought the flame close to the hip pack. "Now we'll see what happens when I destroy this. Prepare to lose it all."
Violet and Mia had once been amazing friends - soulmates even - but then Mia had been corrupted and transformed into an evil, bullying, popular girl by the innocent looking hip back Violet now held.
The Brat Pack would corrupt you into a popilar girl then give it's wearer whatever they desired. Once buckled round your waist it would transform you and then the contents of the bag would always be exactly what you needed to become meaner, more spoiled and more evil.
For Mia that had been expensive makeup that had turned her even naughtier, a credit card that had made her rich, keys to a convertible... the Brat pack always gave her what she needed.
Some items from the pack were not even directly for her use, such as the extra large condoms that had transformed a boy in her year into a hunky black guy with a massive dick. She did so like a big cock in her tight pussy and corrupting other people had trned out to be fun too. Once the items had been used, reality would change to accomodate and over time Mia had warped the school to reflect her twisted whims.
Now Violet was going to destroy it all.
"Wait," she gasped - using her most commanding tone and causing Violet to stop inchs from burning the Brat Pack. "If you do that, I might die! You have to turn me back to normal first or the effect would be too much."
Violet peered at her suspiciously - but there was only pleading and fear in Mia's eyes. What was she up to?
Mia knew she had lost. What she was telling Violet was of course a lie. Destroying the Brat Pack would probably just turn everything back to normal and once it was done, there would never be any chance of being rich, pretty and popular ever again.
She didn't want to live in a world where there was no chance of ever getting this power back. She didn't want to see the Brat Pack destroyed. Her only chance now was to corrupt Violet. To trick her old friend into putting on the Brat Pack and becoming the new Alpha bitch.
It was gonna suck to lose all her power and watch Violet take her place, but maybe... maybe she could convince Violet to make her one of her clique. Once Violet was evil, she might reward Mia for helping her to ascend.
And maybe... one day when Violet's guard was down, Mia would get the Brat Pack back and become the top Alpha Bitch again.
It was better than watching this stupid goody goody destroy the Brat Pack entirely.
"You need to put it on, then inside you'll find a way to turn me back to normal. If you only wear it for a few moments, it won't have time to fully corrupt you - trust me. Why would I lie to you about this?"
Violet looked at her suspiciously, but also with a conflicted concern in her eyes.
"Please Violet, I don't want to die. Please help me, I want to be good again, I want to be your friend."
"Okay... I'll do it, just for a moment. But this better not be some sort of trick. There's no way out of this for you."
Putting down the lighter, she reluctantly took the Brat Pack, slid it around her waist and clicked it shut.
Pink magical flames burst into life around Violet. She gasped and groaned as the pack instantly transformed her physical body. "Ohhh fuckkkk that feel's mmmmh, so good!"
Violet's hands went to her chest and she moaned wetly as her once tiny non-existent tits ballooned out and her white blouse became a plunging white halter-top that showed off miles of her now smooth tanned flesh and rounded boobs.
Her top rose up, sitting just underneath her now jutting tits as bitchy manicured nails shot from her fingers and her hips pushed out to give her an even more feminine body shape.
Her once flat ass swelled and popped out as her jeans shrunk and transformed into a tiny plaid mini skirt that barely covered anything. Her glasses melted away as her face became even prettier and more feminine, coated in expensive makeup and with a perpetual smirk or pout depending on her mood.
Long silky hair swished effortlessly around her shoulders and Violet touched it in wonder. Every inch of her was now more feminine, more beautiful, more... perfect.
She felt full of confidence, arrogance, power. She felt like a spoiled bitch.
On the bed Mia had also changed.
The packs power had transfered fully over to Violet and now as she looked at the pathetic cringing nerd tied up in front of her, Violet couldn't help but feel her pretty lips twist into a sneer of contempt. What a fucking loser.
"Well, well, well," she heard herself say. "Looks like you're back to normal anyway Mia. Why the fuck did you have me put this on? Now I'm going to destroy it and you'll have lost everything."
"Why destroy it?" whimpered Mia. "You have the power now Violet. Doesn't it feel good? Look around. This room is yours now. The pictures have all changed to you and YOUR popular friends."
Violet looked round in amazement and saw Mia wasn't lying. There on a shelf of cheerleading trophies was a picture of the squad winning the best cheer award for the sixth year in a row - and in the front the head cheerleader was now Violet herself grinning and holding the trophy aloft.
"All this is yours now... Goddess," whimpered Mia pathetically.
Sliding her hands under her tits and causing them to push out more, Violet leaned over Mia and enjoyed the look of fear in the other girls eyes. "What did you call me maggot?"
"I called you Goddess, because you are one now. You have it all. My former beauty, my status, my wealth. That convertible outside on the drive is now YOUR car. Have a look inside the Brat Pack and see."
Violet suspiciously opened the pack and pulled out a driver I.D. "Car? But I don't even know how to drive. I..."
Violet had not learned to drive yet, but as she held the I.D in her hand she groaned and felt new knowledge and certainity flow into her. Of course she knew how to drive, of course she owned a convertible. She loved taking her squad shopping to the mall in it. She reached into the Brat pack and pulled out her keys. Yes - perfect. Violet looked down at the Brat Pack and a smiled flitted over her face. This thing would give her whatever she now desired. This was pretty fucking cool.
Mia watched quietly as she saw Violet's body language changing by the second. Her plan was working. Violet was accepting the evil and being corrupted. She now walked like an Alpha Bitch and was clearly enjoying the feeling of being hot and sexy. She just had to convince Violet to make her one of her squad.
"All this is yours Violet. The sexy clothes, the shoes, the hot lingerie. You're the Alpha Bitch now and I will willingly serve you and help you have more power. Make me one of your squad and I'll be your guide."
Violet looked at herself in the mirror. She looked so fucking beautiful and she felt so powerful. She was no longer a shy nerd, she was now a mean spoiled bitch.
She imagined being the centre of attention, having everything she wanted. She imagined being pampered and spoiled every day. She imagined a big black cock in her mouth, in her tight pussy.
"Noooo, what's happening to me? I have to resist. I have to take this pack off."
Violet realised she was losing herself. She had come here today to stop Mia and destroy this evil thing, she had to get it off and set things right. Her fingers went to the catch.
"NO! Don't do it Violet," urged Mia from the bed. "Let the evil flow into you. Let your soul turn black and every inch of you become a spoiled fucking brat. You'll love how it feels to be a bully, to have everyone obey you. That tight pussy of yours will feel so good wrapped tight around a pistoning black cock. You'll cum so hard you'll squirt. Don't you wanna know how that feels? Don't you wanna be a bad girl?"
"Noooo I'm good, I'm not like you," gasped Violet struggling to control herself.
"You're not good Violet, you're a fucking bitch. You're a cruel, jealous, spiteful little popular whore. Say it!" desperately urged Mia.
"I'm... I'm a little popular whore. I'm a fucking bitch," groaned Violet wetly as she began to touch her improved body. Her breathing was heavy, her eyes were bright. Her hands were now away from the brat pack on on herself.
"Yessss, I'm a fucking bitch. I love bullying others and being mean and evil. Ohhhh GOD! It feels so good to say it," laughed Violet throwing her head back.
"That's right," grinned Mia in glee. "You're going to be even more evil than I was. Just imagine all the naughty, cruel, depraved things you'll do as a popular bitch."
"Mmmmh, I don't HAVE to imagine. I can HAVE it all," Violet excitedly whispered. "Yessss, YES! This feels right, this feels good. I'm the Mistress of the Brat Pack now. This power is all mine."
Violet squeezed her tits and screamed pleasurably as she felt her pussy throb in response. Being mean, being bad turned her on. It made her fucking DRIP.
Turning on her heels, she strutted across the room and stretched her perfect body out, feeling the pull of her perfect young muscles. "I understand it now. I'm fucking perfect... I AM a Goddess."
In the space of a few minutes Violet had gone from an innocent girl into a mean, manipulative, spoiled brat. Dark and twisted thoughts flowed through her mind, turning her on and exciting her in equal measure.
The possibilities of the Brat Pack and the mean selfish things she could do with the power, were incredible. Her lips curved into a cruel dominant smile. She tossed her silky hair back and looked down at the nerd on the bed in front of her.
All that remained now was to decide what to do with this human garbage.
Violet looked down at Mia and now she could see the other girls thoughts written large on her face. Mia had a calculating look in her eyes, she obviously thought she was achieving some advantage by tricking Violet into wearing the pack and being corrupted.
God, this loser was so transparent it was almost painful.
"Haha, you fucking loser. I see your plan now. You wanted me to become corrupted so I would keep the Brat Pack and not destroy it. Perhaps you thought you might be able to one day get it back or perhaps I'd elevate you to serve as one of my clique as a reward. But I have a better idea."
Rummaging in her hip pack, Violet purred happily as a shiny male chastity cage came out alongside a padlock and a key on a necklace.
Sliding the key around her neck, she strutted over to the confused Mia.
"You know far too much about the Brat Pack and it's power Mia. I can't risk that you'll ever try to take it back. I can't suffer a rival. As Mia you are a threat - but as Mylon you'll be nothing more than my braindead little simp."
Pulling down Mia's jeans, Violet held the cage out expectantly in front of her friends pussy. Mia gasped in horror as with a strange tingling - her clit began to swell and grow and she groaned and shook as her body changed.
Her small boobs shrank away and her bones cracked and shifted. A tiny pathetic penis pushed out of her groin - and with a giggle of glee Violet snapped the cage around it and clicked the padlock in place.
Mia shook as the changes accelerated. Her mind went foggy and she tried to hold onto who she was and what had happened, but it was hopeless.
Groaning, Mylon opened his eyes and looked confusedly around the bedroom of his Goddess. His tiny caged dick was throbbing with urgency. How had he got here.
"Get on the floor and lick my boots loser," growled Violet and Mylon gulped and threw himself down. Licking and kissing Violet's purple boots he whimpered as she laughed at him.
"Oh my God, you're even more pathetic that I could have imagined. This is totally what you deserve. You can be my sad little simp - trapped permanently in chastity and the friend-zone, never knowing what you lost and what you once had."
Adjusting the pack around her waist, Violet unclipped it and walking to her wardrobe opened the door. At the back was a safe and she carefully put in a code and then locked the Brat Pack safely away where only she could use it.
The changes remained - unless someone else put on the pack, the power would remain hers. She was going to be a lot more careful not to lose it like Mia had.
"Stop grovelling and run home loser. I want all my homework done by the end of tonight."
Violet grinned as she watched her simp willingly comply with her orders. The thrill of power, the thrill of being a bitch. These things were new to her, but she couldn't wait to explore them further.
It felt so good to be a brat, and there was no going back.
Later that night as she sucked one giant blak cock and felt another go deeper and deeper inside her perfect pussy, she wondered if Mylon would even remember how good being a bitch had felt in his dreams.
She hoped so... but then again, who gave a fuck?

HEARTLESS đ - FINAL CHAPTER
Agent Whiskey (Jack Daniels) x f!reader
Summary: A wedding, a new addition to the family and revisiting memories finally bring the Daniels family their well-deserved happy ending â€ïž
(This is the last chapter of the HEARTLESS đ series)
âą YOU CAN READ THE ENTIRE SERIES ON MY MASTERLIST
Warnings: a tad bit of angst (but not really, it's mostly just expressing emotions and revisiting sad memories), mentions of suicidal thoughts, fluff, brief smut (more like mentions of it), tension, talks of becoming a widow, Wyatt and his baby sister being the most adorable kids in the world, happy ending â€ïž
A/N: it took me so long to get this done, I guess nearly six months, I don't know, I feel I sort of lost my way with this story, but I had to come back and finish our cowboy adventure, give them their happy ending. I love you all and I really hope you enjoy this chapter, I thank you everyone who has followed this story and showed me support through all these months of writing! It wouldn't have happened if it weren't for you â€ïžđ«¶
12.6k words
Nothing could have prepared you for the reaction your cowboy had the moment you broke the news to him you were pregnant - or rather he found out about it by spotting the test boxes in the bathroom trash. You had been worried about everything, so many scenarios running through your head, always anticipating the worst and making you fear each single measure he could take. Just to have a grown ass cowboy on his knees before you, his face resting against your womb as he blinked away the tears that insisted on flooding those brown baby cow eyes of his. He just worshiped you, mumbling so many words you couldn't quite tell what they were, but the way he looked up at you, as if you were his whole world, made your heart skip a beat. It was a terrifying change, but you oddly didn't feel scared, not at that moment, not when you had Whiskey at your feet, showing he wasn't going anywhere, he was committed and devoted to you, to his family, a family that was growing, just like that tiny little seed in your womb, that was going to grow into a full baby, a blessing to that undeserving man, something he prayed for every single night, there was nothing Jack Daniels wanted more than to be a good man to his family, to be the husband and the father you and the kids deserved.Â
The kids.Â
He chuckled to himself at the thought of it, something that seemed just like a distant dream short days ago, was now a reality, the fact Wyatt was about to become a big brother, and the overwhelming love he felt for his son, also multiplying towards his second child. It was also terrifying to him, to love someone he hadn't even met yet, and how that could be taken away from in the blink of an eye like it happened to him before. He shook his head, squinting his eyes unaware of the tears that rolled down his cheeks, chasing those thoughts away. Nothing would happen to his family, you, Wyatt and the little angel inside of you would be just fine, because that was his responsibility and he would fight for it until his last breath. You felt his tears against your bare skin and a gut feeling told you exactly what he was thinking about, you didn't want him suffering for that, things wouldn't be as tragic as they were, Jack Daniels was a heavily traumatized man, who lived in fear of losing his family by not being good enough to protect them. You couldn't let your cowboy suffer in anticipation like that, so you pushed him gently, sitting on the floor to face him in the same eye level and stroked his cheek, the way his eyes were red with tears and he sniffed even if he tried his best to control his emotional reaction, reminded you so much of Wyatt, your son being the tiny little version of him. You placed your lips on Jack's forehead, then you went to his cheek kissing his tears away and finally to his lips, never breaking eye contact, at the same time he wrapped his arms around you, pulling you as close as possible, needing the reassurance only your touch could provide. You kept your cowboy so close to your heart, taking deep breaths and letting his presence sink in, finally realizing how much you'd missed your cowboy, spending days apart from him. You had been so deep into your own thoughts after finding out about the pregnancy you completely neglected the side that craved your cowboy with you. You wanted to hold him, kiss and make love to him, but at that moment, you could see the vulnerability in his eyes.
It broke your heart; Jack was a strong, fearless man towards anything that did not involve his family. He was able to take down dozens of enemies in a fight, he could face the most furious bull in a ring, he didn't fear death or pain when he was out in the world protecting a nation that didn't even know they were in danger to begin with, but he was not that brave when it came to his sugar and his son, and especially not once they added a baby into the mix. One could call him paranoid, but he was just not willing to take the slightest risk, it had happened once, it wasn't going to happen twice.Â
"Sugar, I-âÂ
His voice cracked, he had tears in his eyes, threatening to spill at any given second, he wanted to promise you, word it out loud how hard he would fight for you, for your relationship as a couple, your upcoming wedding, he wanted to assure you you could splurge as much as you wanted, choose whatever made you happy, he wanted to throw himself at your feet like the dog he was, he wanted to cry and beg your forgiveness even if he had already done that before, more than once, and even if you, out of your superior state of grace, had forgiven him. He wanted to tell you he knew he wasn't worthy of you, but he wasn't strong enough to keep away, he wanted to swear you and the kids would be forever safe, he would do anything you wanted him to: quit Statesman, throw away all his lassos and whips, he would become a goddamn farmer if it were up to you. He wanted to thank you for bringing sense into his life again, for robbing him from those depreciating, suicidal thoughts. He wanted to thank, and beg and promise you, but he couldn't bring himself to say anything at all, all he did was blinking his tears, letting them run down his cheeks. You knew it, you knew it all, he didn't have to say it, you could feel it from his heart to yours. Caressing his cheek gently, you nodded, leaned towards him and kissed his lips once more.Â
"I know cowboy, I know itâÂ
                               âąâąâą
The slight noise of crayons sliding through a sheet of paper filled your ears and brought your attention back to reality. You focused your eyes on the bright colorful shades that added a meaning to a confusing drawing Wyatt was finishing. A pillow under his bum so he could be tall enough to use the coffee table as his personal art table, while he glanced at his baby sister, Rosie, who rested in her baby seat and watched attentively her big brother's every move. The eight-month-old cooed and kicked her little legs, wanting Wyatt's attention back at her, their bond being as strong as it was the day she was born, he giggled at her.Â
"Calm down, Rosie⊠I will continue the story in a minuteâ he said in his smart pants way and turned his head at you, knowing something was up. Wyatt was only six - proudly going 7 in a few months, but he was able to tell whenever you were lying to him. He'd asked if you were alright a couple of times in the last hour, and you'd said yes. But you clearly weren't fine.Â
Dropping his crayons, he got up and walked towards you, bright brown eyes staring into yours and a comforting smile.Â
âWhat happened, mommy?âÂ
âN-nothing happened, honey⊠why don't you go and keep telling Rosie the story⊠What story was it?âÂ
"The story of us before she was bornâŠâ he said proudly and you let out a chuckle, of course he would want his little sister to know her origins and tell her everything that happened in the months that followed your wedding proposal up to her birth. You allowed yourself to stop the mental torture and point at Rosie who kept cooing in order to have Wyatt talking to her as she loved. As much as the sight melted your heart, a heavy weight in your chest stopped you from taking another breath without feeling pain. Jack should have been there with you. He should be sitting right next to you, playing with his kids and giving you all sorts of dirty smirks hinting at what would go on in your shared bedroom once the kids were off to dreamland. But he wasn't, and you swallowed hard every time you thought about it. You hadn't lied to Wyatt at all, when you said nothing happened; because nothing indeed had happened, the real problem was that something should have happened. He should have declined Champâs request for a last mission, and being the stubborn cowboy he was, when he got there, he should've killed his enemies straight away, he should have answered Statesman's official communication channels, and above all, he should have arrived home two days ago.Â
You didn't get contact from him and neither did the agency, even if they actually sent Ginger to your ranch so she would keep you company and make sure you weren't lost in bad thoughts, even if she stood in your kitchen making you a cup of tea, always offering you dozens of stories in which Whiskey managed to save the day and showed up at the last minute, it still didn't work, quite the opposite, it made it everything worse. But you had to remain strong for the kids, there was no reason to spread panic, even if you were feeling panic yourself, you couldn't do that to them.Â
You hugged your little boy tight, burying your face into his soft curls, and smiled, looking at your precious Rosie, picking her up from her seat and holding her gently.Â
"Go ahead, loveâ you told your son and Wyatt smiled, giggling and tickling her tiny little feet.Â
"So⊠after daddy found out you were a little seed in mommy's tummyâŠâ
And at your son's sweet words towards your daughter, your mind drifted off to the memories he was taking so much pride in telling her.Â
                             âąâąâą
âHoney, it's okay, I'm fine, our baby is fineâ You'd told your cowboy for the third time but he wasn't convinced just yet, it had been a silly little accident and nothing more: youâd been playing tag with Wyatt and Jack outside when a chicken running lose crossed your path and your tripped over it. Thinking in retrospect, it wasn't silly, it was plain stupid actually, but the moment Jack saw you tumbling, he ran towards you as fast as possible, immediately lifting you up and placing his hand on your belly. The pregnancy was now two months along, and your soon-to-be husband was always in a state of alert, just like a guard dog, he wouldn't leave your side unless it was strictly necessary to, and at any slight glimpse of danger - well, his exaggerated conception of danger -, he would be ready to act.Â
"Sugar please, you fell down, that's something pregnant women aren't supposed to do, let's just go to town, get you to the clinic, have one of those fancy ultrasounds exams and make sure everythingâs fine. Afterwards, Wyatt can have one of those happy meals he loves and you can check up any remaining wedding details you'd like toâÂ
You both knew there was no detail you hadn't double checked in the month and a half you'd found out about the pregnancy. Your wedding was all set and ready to take place - a week from then, at the Danielsâ ranch. Everything was thoughtfully chosen, organized and done despite how fast things were going. However, the fear in that man's eyes made you nod and agree to his request. You knew you were okay, just as your baby was okay, but he didn't, not when his worst nightmare haunted him every single day, giving him no breaks or concessions; the horror of losing yet another child taking away his logical rational side more often than he'd liked. So you did it for him, for your worried cowboy. For the cowboy who wouldn't keep his hand away from your small baby bump and would pray silently for things to be okay.Â
âAlright Jack, let's goâÂ
You gave in to his request and allowed him to help you climb up the Bronco, along with Wyatt safely tucked in the backseat just a few moments after he ran inside to grab you and himself a jacket. Your heart clenched with an overwhelming wave of love, your family was so perfect it didn't even seem to be real. As you watched the ranch become smaller and smaller in the rear mirror, Wyatt played with some dinosaur toys in the backseat, you noticed the cemetery entrance Whiskey drove by; the same cemetery Gabriella was buried with her unborn baby and that brought another pang towards your chest. You thought of her and her baby, and the joy and expectations she must've had, you thought of your own cowboy, and how hard it must've been for him to receive the news that destroyed his life. Placing your hand on your womb, you stroked it gently. You weren't worried until then, but the cold realization of what happened to your fiance, was enough to spike the doubt. Life was going so well for you, perhaps too well, and you worried at some point the good wave of luck would die out. Thoughts wandered, but a heavy hand rested on your thigh, snapping you out of your thoughts. Jack glanced at you, still keeping his attention on the road, but making sure to look into your eyes.Â
"It's going to be fine sugar, our sweet little bean is here, safe and soundâÂ
You nodded thankfully for his words and tried calming down, knowing you'd be in town soon.
You could list the most emotional moments of your life: your first kiss, your first love, the first time you ever saw that pathetic handsome cowboy, the instant you fell in love with him, your first time with your cowboy, the first time you exchanged love words, finding out you were pregnant with Wyatt, listening to his first heartbeats and you could spend a lifetime listing all of those moments. So you figured the moment you heard your newest baby's heartbeat for the first time, you wouldn't become too emotional, but you were definitely wrong. The moment the loud heartbeat filled the room, your heart raced like crazy, looking around you saw your cowboy's eyes filled with tears, a sweet smile as he leaned in and pecked your lips gently, at the same time Wyatt's happy grin also caught your attention. The way he clapped his small hands so excitedly and giggled.Â
âSee mommy? Baby sissy is alright!âÂ
He said happily, as he was sure he would get a sister, and turns out, he was right all along.Â
That night, after Wyatt was safely tucked into bed, Jack came over to you, a basket and blankets in hand, a shit eating grin as he cornered you and kissed your cheeks, before going south and getting to your neck. Goosebumps spread all over your skin, you knew exactly what he was thinking of and you couldn't help but chuckle. He was still your handsome, charming silly cowboy and you loved him with every fiber of your being. He didn't even need to say anything, just offering you his hand, knowing you'd take it without questioning and without further ado, you two were quickly running through the green grass of the ranch, escaping to your old getaway spot, the one you'd spend uncountable hours with your cowboy, just enjoying the sunlight or the moonlight, relaxing and hiding away from everything and everyone. The early stages of your relationship, where you didn't know if you and the cowboy would actually become something more than a steamy affair, before even dreaming of getting pregnant with his child and going through everything you did. You would both get into your favorite date place: the barn.Â
Just a blanket to make things comfortable, some treats to nibble on and all the love flowing through your veins.Â
"It's been so long since we came hereâ you told Whiskey, as he opened the door and welcomed you after him. He didn't say anything, not before pressing you against the wall and stealing a kiss. And that cowboy was hungry for you. The way his hands gripped your waist before roaming over you, his heavy breathing and a whole new discharge of hormones thanks to your pregnancy, got you so worked up, your hands sinking into the softness of his hair, his stetson lying on the floor at how fast your make out session started.Â
"Missed you, sugar.. it was about time we came up to our good ol' barn, ain't it right? Just us⊠âcause mommy and daddy gotta have their funâ Jack's heavy breathing was so enticing to you, the way he hungrily went over to your neck and without you even noticing him, he had set the blanket on the floor, making it a cozy place for the two of you to lie down among stacks hay. Smooth dirty cowboy, must've done that a thousand times. If those barn walls could talk, they'd certainly tell the most explicit erotic tales, ones out of many that were actually starred by you. However, there was no place for jealousy of the past, instead you focused on the bright future you got ahead of you and the known fact you were now the only one going to the barn with your cowboy. No other woman would touch him but you, and that was priceless.Â
By the time you were both finished with your round, all that was left was resting against each other's body. His arms firmly wrapped around you, short nails scratching up and down your naked back, at the same time you nuzzled his chest. His warm skin and his heartbeat, those small details reminding you it was real. Your happiness was real. Love overflowing you at all times and nothing could be better at that moment. As you shifted and lay on your back, Jack's hand immediately rested on your baby bump. It was still quite small, but you could both see it taking its shape, it was your child growing healthy and strongly inside of you. The mixture of you and the cowboy, the final proof your love was so abundant it flooded into something more. Whiskey's hand stroked your skin, a distant smile on his face, as so much went through his mind. He couldn't help but experience so many feelings at once: love, fear, excitement, regret, grief. All of that mixed up in the handsome mess he was. He couldn't wait to meet his sweet daughter, because just like Wyatt, he was also certain it was time for a baby girl Daniels to make her debut in the family, yet, he couldn't help feeling the bitter taste of regret, thinking of all the wasted time and opportunity he could've spent around you and baby Wyatt. Thinking of how he could've and should've been there for you and him. Your first pregnancy, how everything was so new and scary, how hard and stressful things were, how much you and your son needed him. He closed his eyes and silently prayed for forgiveness, trying to convince himself better late than never, which was true, but he could've been a better man. His mind also drifted to very old times, when he wasn't much more than a boy recently graduated from high school, a wedding ring shining and a beautiful, young and bright Gabriella expecting their baby boy. She was supposed to have gone to college that year, if she hadn't gotten pregnant, Jack knew she would've made a great lawyer, exactly like she dreamed of; he often blamed himself for robbing her of her bright future, even if he knew he would've managed to work and given her and their son the best life possible. It was a topic he discussed several times in therapy and grief counseling. At first, he was adamant about not wanting to do it, but Champ only gave him two options: either treat his old deep wounds, or leave Statesman behind and start over with no job, no money, no support. And he was being kind, because more than once Jack heard people telling straight up to his face he should be rotting in jail. The truth was that Champ was right, he needed to, he should've treated himself years ago, it made him understand and finally accept that no one was to blame, but the killers who ended Gabriella's and the baby's lives. It made him see, he had loved them with all his heart, but he was still alive and he was entitled to be happy, he shouldn't feel guilty about loving someone else, about wanting to build a life with someone other than Gabriella, and above all, he understood that his sweet Gabriella would want the same for him, because he was sure if he was the one who died that night at a convenience store, he would never wish her a lifetime of sorrow and grief like he led.Â
"I think you're miles away from here, JackâŠâ your voice had snapped him out of his thoughts and brought him back to reality, just as your touch, fingers running through his hair as he chuckled and nodded.Â
"Just thinking about life, that's allâÂ
"You know I love you, right, cowboy?âÂ
âI do, just as I love you sugar. With my whole heartâÂ
He pecked your lips and then got to your belly, his mustache tickling your skin as he left a trail of little butterfly kisses on your bump.Â
âAnd I love you too, baby, with all my soft old heart, a broken heart fixed with so much love and patience by your beautiful mama, your handsome big brother and by you, because I'm sure you're daddy's little sheepâÂ
                      âąâąâą
"... So when you still lived in mommy's tummy, daddy called you little sheep, because you were too tiny to be a cowboy and also a girlâ Wyatt giggled at his own joke and cooed as Rosie clapped her chubby hands. Your kidsâ genuine happiness and innocence filled your heart with love and pride, and the fact your cowboy wasn't anywhere Statesman looked for him, only fueled the worst fears and thoughts you had going on. Raising your two kids on our own wouldn't be impossible, you'd done it before with Wyatt, you'd been strong enough to do it, but that was not the occasion any longer. You wanted your cowboy by your side, Jack and you were meant to be, you were married now and you wanted nothing more than to stay with him for the rest of your life, to watch your kids grow and grow old with him. You loved him with all your heart and that lack of news was driving you insane. Turning to Ginger, she simply shook her head, still no sign of him, and it pierced your heart. You wanted your sweet handsome Jack next to you, so you could both enjoy your family.Â
"... And then Rosie, mommy married daddy and it was under the willow tree! Remember we played snowman last Christmas there?! Mommy looked like a princess! Mommy, tell Rosie you looked like a princess!âÂ
Wyatt tugged at you and caught your attention again, you kissed your daughter's head gently and then stroked your son's beautiful face. He was the sweetest child you'd ever met, he'd been your best friend for so long, you just nodded at his words.Â
"And you tell Rosie you looked like a tiny little prince and walked mommy down the aisle!âÂ
âSo RosieâŠ, Mommy and daddy's wedding was so fun! Let me tell youâŠâ Â
                            âąâąâą
The arrangements for the wedding weren't as complicated as you thought they'd be, not when you had Whiskey by your side, always willing to make your dream - and his, come true. No matter the decoration, the dress, the flower arrangement or the buffet. Anything was perfect for him, because at the end of the day, you'd be his forever, his wife, the mother of his beautiful children. You'd sign your name as Mrs.Daniels, just like Wyatt and your baby would. And he couldn't wait for that to become true.Â
Taking advantage of the fact it was awfully warm for December, you both decided to hold the wedding at the ranch, where you could fit all the guests - nothing too much, just friends, some relatives, fellow agents on Whiskey's part, anyway - and all the other things implied by a wedding: a beautiful altar, a nice dance floor and all the great amount of flowers your cowboy insisted on you gifting you with, roses of course, he loved those as a little boy because his grandma and mama loved them, and it's a commonly well-known fact that above being a Mama's boy, Jack Daniels had been a grandma's boy, which only made you love him even more. He was a roses man, and you knew with all your heart that a little Rosie was growing up in your belly, the perfect mixture of your love and the cowboy's, just like your handsome, precious son Wyatt, was.Â
The location chosen at the ranch could only be by the willow trees, such a special place for you and your family, it was bound to become even more special. It would be the place where you and Jack would exchange your vows of always loving each other and your family; it was beautiful. The directions were also perfect, the exact balance between simple and elegant. Nothing to be too much, just some fairy lights carefully placed on the trees, white chairs on the green field and several roses of all colors scattered all over the place. You'd always heard men didn't usually take part in those details, but your Whiskey couldn't be further from that; he loved spending every moment helping you decide what you wanted and giving some of his thoughts too. The cake tasting was also another happy occasion: Jack made sure to take you to the best bakery in town, you, him and Wyatt had the hard task of trying a little bit of every cake available in order to pick the right one for the party. You, trusting your boysâ fine taste, you let them pick the cake: strawberry and cream. Everything seemed ready for the two of you to tie the knot. The dress was also easy to find, you weren't picky, you wanted something pretty and comfortable, that would make your baby bump discreet and allow you to enjoy your special day. Taking Wyatt with you so he would help you choose the best outfit, you simply loved how attentive and sweet he was, all the time he clapped his little hands and gigglesÂ
"You look pretty mommy!âÂ
That's what you'd heard the most those days.Â
Your handsome cowboy on the other hand, had his suit completely figured out: after inviting some of the Kingsman agents, Eggsy sent your fiance a special fine tailored suit, the kind that fit your cowboy so perfectly and it hung tight to all the right places. He looked so good, too good it was almost impossible to be able to hold yourself back and honor the agreement you'd both made to wait until the wedding to sleep together again. It was quite silly to do that, but you remembered being younger and reading somewhere about how having a dry spell a few days before the wedding could fuel the honeymoon even more. You and Jack decided not to travel for your special getaway, he was still very worried about your health, no matter how many times your doctor assured both you and him things were alright with mama and the baby. There was also the fact you didn't have anyone to leave Wyatt with as well, he was a kind and sweet child to be around, but he wasn't used to being away from you for more than just a couple of days. Your mom was completely out of the picture and you and Jack didn't really feel comfortable in hiring someone to watch your boy on such short notice. A couple of weeks at your ranch, enjoying the upcoming end of the year festivities, your family and taking care of your pregnancy didn't sound that bad at all, you were looking forward to it and each time you saw Whiskey, your heart fluttered, thinking of all the happiness ahead of you.Â
Two days before your wedding, Wyatt woke up sneezing and sniffling, you had warned him not to spend too long around the river with his dad, you weren't certain what kind of vegetation was that, but it was enough to strike an allergic reaction in your little boy; and since Jack had been out to go fishing and Wyatt wouldn't leave his side for two seconds, it was understandable he didn't wake up feeling great, which made you give him some antiallergics in order for him to feel better. It'd worked to an extent, if it weren't for the fact the antiallergic your son got was the drowsy kind and it put him down to sleep through the whole afternoon, so without Wyatt's usual presence around you, always playing or asking millions of those thoughtful and creative questions, you took some time for yourself, relaxing and lying on the couch, waiting for Whiskey to be home. Your future husband was as excited for the wedding as you were, he couldn't wait to say âI doâ and finally be able to be your husband, and yet, you could still see there were some days in which Jack's mind wandered and he seemed so lost in thought. Or late at night, it wouldn't be rare to get up to grab a glass of water and find him looking out the window, silently and reflexively, just staring into the darkness outside the window. You hadn't asked what was going on, suspecting it had to do with something extremely intimate, and that didn't worry you one bit, your love was strong and your cowboy was devoted to you, perhaps it was something to do with those ugly thoughts he dealt with a while back; although he'd assured you he still went to the his therapist appointments regularly and things were much better in that sense then. Eventually, you felt your eyes getting heavier and heavier, and you ended up dozing off, your body fully relaxed against the comfortable couch and the warmth of the sunshine coming through the big window.Â
The distant sound of the Bronco's engine wasn't enough to wake you up by itself, you were so tired, a combination of your pregnancy and all the rush you had been settling things, all you needed was just a couple of hours of extra sleep and you'd be all set. Your sweet cowboy knew that more than you did, so he just tiptoed his way into the kitchen in order not to disturb you. The cowboys sweet tooth was really making him lose focus, so he had to grab a slice of that delicious cake you'd made him; no matter how many times you'd told Jack he looked the same sexy cowboy as always, he was sure he was growing a soft belly, and that was certainly due to your great cooking and mostly baking skills. And yet, he couldn't care less about it. He would trade any abs and fit body in the world for the happiness of your shared domestic bliss. He was so absentmindedly eating his second slice of cake - it was just too good to stop in the first one, he didn't even notice you approaching him, only when you placed your delicate hand on his back he managed to turn around and give you a smile as best as possible, due to the amount of cake he was eating, so you just chuckled and shook your head
âChew it slowly cowboyâ you said sweetly and wiped some crumbles off his cheek and then went to his chest, doing the same with his shirt. His free immediately rested on your belly as he grinned.Â
"How's the little cowboy?âÂ
"He's alright⊠I'd like to talk about the big cowboy, thoughâ you told him and saw his puzzled face as you chuckled and wrapped your arms around his neck. Jack's body was so broad and strong, it simply made you always feel safe and quite turned on, although you couldn't get distracted by him. His arms wrapped around your body, heavy hands resting on the small of your back as he sighed, he hoped he wasn't in trouble, although he had quite a good guess what you wanted to talk about. He placed a peck on top of your head and looked into your eyes.Â
âWhat is it, sugar?âÂ
"I want to know what's going on, cowboy⊠I know you're excited about our wedding, just as I am, but sometimes you just get so lost in thought, you wake up in the middle of night and underneath all that spark of happiness, I still see some melancholy underneath⊠I don't want to see you sad, JackâÂ
He closed his eyes when he felt your hand on his cheek, the slightest caress was already so comforting for that broken cowboy; he was a screw up but he had the best intentions, all he wanted was to make you happy without having to worry about losing the three of you. You, Wyatt and the baby being much more than he ever deserved, he just wished he didn't worry so much about everything all the time. Taking a seat on the chair and pulling you to his lap, he rested his face on your cleavage, sighing as he wondered if he should actually open up and tell you what was constantly on his mind. What if you somehow misinterpreted what he meant?! What if you got angry with him and his over protection? So many things ran through his mind as he remained in silence for a few seconds, until once more that healing caress of yours snapped him out of his newest wave of melancholy, this time tangled into his messy hair, you could see the tension dissolving from his shoulders and how he was ready to talk.Â
"I'm so happy with everything that's going on⊠our wedding, our baby, our cowboy Wyatt growing up stronger than a horse, I spent so long thinking I could never be happy in my life only to be the happiest man in the world. I'm so thankful to you for all of that, sugar. You made me a better man, you made me want to be better for you and our family and now we're welcoming a new baby into our lives, I can't help my excitement to do this with you, sugar, it's my dream coming trueâÂ
The cowboy said honestly, this time he was the one who held your face between his hands, caressing it gently and being so delicate towards you like he'd always been. Still, you knew him, being sure there was a little bit more to it than just the pure excitement.Â
"AndâŠ?âÂ
Whiskey licked his lips and gave you a sad smile, seeing nothing would go past you unnoticed, not when it came to him at least. He felt pretty happy and safe because of that, his heart warm at how sweet you were.Â
âAnd my mind keeps taking me back to when I was young⊠All this wedding preparation going on reminds me of the first time I got married⊠how young and naive I was, how happy Gabriella got, and how hopeful we were when lil Jack was growing in her bellyâ he swallowed hard and lowered his eyes âplease sugar, don't think I'm comparing you two or that I still love Gabriella in that way, but it makes me sad to think my boy could've become a man, a big strong cowboy, and his mama should be a hell of a successful woman by now. I know I discussed this hundreds if not thousands of times over the years, but their fate was just so unfair, and along with that, the fear of losing you and our beautiful little family the way I lost them starts creeping up in my chest and I just get so paranoid over everything an-â
You interrupted your cowboy with a kiss; touching his lips with yours, feeling the warmth of him irradiating onto you, the way his arms wrapped around you and he deepened the kiss, loving to have a taste of you, especially when his mouth couldn't make the right words, he knew his heart could, and above all, your heart could listen to it. And you understood it, you really did, it wasn't because Jack still thought of his late wife, not in that way, but he just couldn't help wondering what would've happened if things didn't go the tragic way they did. Your cowboy was a romantic and sensitive man, no matter what he tried saying or doing. You broke the kiss with a gentle smile and took his hand âcome on, cowboy, let's go for a rideâ you told him as you dragged him out of the kitchen, stopping midway just to let Helen know you and Jack would be gone for a while and she should keep an eye on Wyatt just in case.Â
The walk to the stables was quick, as your cowboy didn't hesitate in going after you, still slightly puzzled as to why you decided to go out like that, but the moment he saw your smile, he went soft: he would do anything for you. You finally let go of his hand and went to Silver Pony, greeting her and petting her head, warming up his heart. Jack loved how sweet and kind to the animals he kept at the ranch you were, knowing you loved that beautiful horse, just as much as Wyatt loved his beautiful little pony, he frowned softly as he saw you getting the saddle and putting it on your horse.Â
"I thought we'd agree you wouldn't ride horses for now, you know, to prevent stuff in case you fall or-â you interrupted your cowboy with another peck on the lips, knowing he wouldn't resist further than that. Smiling you shook your head slightlyÂ
"You know, it's funny you don't want me to ride a horse but you do want me to ride a cowboy every single nightâ you winked as you saw a slight red shade crossing his cheeks before he cleared his throat âcome on, Jack, I'll be safe, I'll be with you, you're the best cowboy in the world, the best I've ever seen, we'll just take a short ride and that's itâŠâÂ
And with your puppy eyes, you managed to convince him. Like you always did.Â
And you were right after all, the ride was short and calm, nothing different went on, as you two exited the ranch entrance and took the small side road towards the fruit trees, the cowboy just assumed you were going to pick up some to make a dessert or something similar, but the moment you crossed the fruit path and walked a bit further, stopping by the cemetery, was when he finally realized what you'd had in mind. He did not see that coming, a part of him still tried to deflect him from considering that, but when he saw you getting off Silver Pony and picking up some flowers, it was the confirmation he needed.Â
âS-sugar, why? Why are we here?âÂ
He asked as you took his arm and made your way inside of that holy place.Â
"I think it's important, maybe this will ease your mind, Jack⊠I know how hard this subject still is for you, and I also know you haven't visited her in a while. I think it's important for you, and well, for me too, that way we can soothe these feelings that still haunt you, cowboy. Let's go, I do it with my heart openâÂ
And with your encouraging words, your cowboy Jack Daniels took your hand and walked towards his late wife's grave, knowing it was always a bittersweet feeling, but above all, necessary. He hadn't been there in a while, it was almost as if he'd lost the habit of doing so, not feeling that need of visiting them, not after he started attending therapy and realized he had to let his first family go, not after he realized he needed to fight for the family he had with you and that was the most important thing. Still, around special dates such as their anniversary or worse, the anniversary of their passing, he felt he had to honor them by showing up and leaving a couple of flowers. Jack was also aware that you visited their grave once and it warmed his heart. You took some of your time to acknowledge their existence in a substantial way and not treat them as if they were just his weird obsession. Once he realized you both stood in front of the tombstone, he took a deep breath. No matter if years and decades went by, the sight of their names written there always pierced his heart. He knew his relationship with Gabriella could've taken so many turns if she hadn't died: they could've been together until this day or they could've split up, they could still have feelings for each other or hate each other's guts, so many possibilities, none of them would ever come true, but what shattered his heart for real, was to think of his little boy, think of his little Jack, still so small and fragile inside his mommy's tummy, unlike Gabriella, Jack never got to hold him, never got to look into his eyes or caress his hair. Technically, it should've been easier for him to get over the loss of someone he had never met, but it wasn't, if anything, it was even worse, because he could never stop himself from wondering what would've happened. Would his son be good at school or get bad grades? Would be a mama's boy like Whiskey himself was as a kid or would he be rebellious? If he'd followed his dad's step and found his sweetheart earlier in life, there was a fat chance Whiskey would be a grandpa by then.Â
But those ifs and might-have-beens were just spiculation. There was no way to know it, and not to descend into madness once more living off daydreams and made up scenarios, was that he seeked help. He was better now, better than he'd ever been, but at emotional times like those, it was quite difficult not to be caught in the moment, so he felt startled when you placed your hand on his shoulder.Â
"Do you want me to go and give you some time?â You suggested as you placed the flowers on Gabriella's and the baby's graves, you had a gut feeling that moment was important for your cowboy, but now that you were actually there, you felt slightly dislocated, not knowing exactly what to do or what to say, it felt so intimate to be there, to see Jack's eyes fill up with tears, but instead of asking you for a moment, he tightened his grip around your hand and kept you in place. The two of you closed your eyes and said a silent prayer to his first family. You thanked Gabriella for taking care of your Jack and promised her you would make him happy, not letting him fall into his old depressive habits again; you also wished her and her baby's soul peace and happiness in heaven. Jack, on the other hand, prayed for them and for his new family, he told them he would always keep them both in his heart but it was time to let them rest, they'd never be forgotten or unloved, but the cowboy had another family to love and protect, he asked them for their blessing and he burst out crying when he spotted a blue butterfly on Gabriella's grave. She used to love butterflies and blue was her favorite color. It could've been a sign or not, he wasn't really sure, but the fact was that a weight seemed to be lifted off his chest at the same time he pulled you for a hug and thanked you for going there with him.Â
Truth was: if roles were reversed and Jack had died that night instead of Gabriella, he would've wanted her to move on and find peace and love with someone who could truly make her happy, so he finally realized and convinced himself there was no reason for him to do that, his late wife would've wanted the same.Â
                             âąâąâą
As Ginger got off the phone and paced the room, you felt your throat tightening with anxiety and worry; your chest was so heavy and the tears threatened to splurge from your eyes at any moment, there was still no sign of your cowboy and the way Ginger seemed tense as she whispered information with whoever was at the agency, only brought you even more fear of having lost your husband. You eyed the kids, who behaved perfectly and it pained you not being able to appreciate that, you wish you could sit down with them, talk and play, smile and hold them, but at that moment you were so unavailable, all you needed was to have some news from your cowboy, that was all you wished for; you wish you could hold him tight, you wish you could feel his presence, his warm, his scent all over you again. You craved your cowboy, your husband, and you couldn't even begin to consider the possibility of not having him anymore, at the same time those depressive thoughts were the only ones that crossed your mind. Wyatt complained about being hungry and as much as you should have gotten up and started making him dinner, you simply couldn't move yourself from your seat. Everything hurt and the way Ginger hung up and simply shook her head, signaling there were still no words about your cowboy, just shattered your heart. You discreetly dried a single tear and nodded at her, as you buried your hand into your son's curly hair - exactly like his dad's when he went a few extra weeks without a pretty decent trim. Even at your gentle caress, Wyatt still whined about being hungry, but seeing you were under no conditions of making them dinner, Ginger offered herself to make him some mac&cheese while Helen immediately stepped up to prepare Rosie's bottle. You thanked them and enjoyed a moment of silence as you were left in the living room by yourself. You shook your head thinking of things you couldn't actually change, but if you had that power you would've insisted him to stay, not to take that last mission, the future for the two of you along with the kids was just so bright, you had so many possibilities, he didn't need the money, he should've just stayed home with you. It should be a quiet evening, having a family dinner together, feeding and bathing the kids and then snuggling in bed, feeling those quick strong hands of his, roaming all over your body while those devilish lips whispered the most sinful things in your ear.Â
If only.Â
You sighed and got up, walking around the living room, stretching your legs and trying to control that huge sadness that seemed to have taken over you like a dark thick shadow that wouldn't go away. As you went to the window and watched it how the overcast sky had turned into a dark night, cold night, you saw the trees moving softly with the wind, which blew coldly through the leaves, you thought of how thoughtful Jack had become those early days before the wedding, how he would just stare outside and allow his mind to drift away, you knew now he had thought of his late wife and how things could've been different for her, you didn't want to think of that, because your troubled mind would wonder if you had really lost your husband already, if your worst nightmare had become true, if he would be reunited with Gabriella at that moment. So many ifs, as much as you fought that thought it didn't seem so distant which made you gasp and finally broke into tears. It was torture. Your heart was broken.Â
When you looked out the window once more, your eyes were still blurred with tears, as you tried controlling yourself, knowing it wasn't the time for your kids to see your outburst, so at first, you didn't actually see that curious figure moving in the darkness, it wouldn't even make sense to you, no one could be possibly wandering around, the glimpse of a mysterious figured might've been confused with a hallucination, but not the sound of a horse's hooves approaching the house. That was very real, you realized, the moment you raised your head and frowned trying to see exactly who it was. It wasn't possible, was it? The thing you'd been praying for the most for the past couple of days, had you fallen asleep? Were you dreaming? You wouldn't be able to tell, not with that anxiety bombing you completely making you feel as if your heart was about to beat right out of your chest. Not holding back anymore, you simply ran to the front door, opening it and rushing towards the knight in shining armor coming back home to you.Â
"Jack!!!â You screamed at the top of your lungs, your face filled with pure emotion as your depressing, pained tears were quickly replaced by happy ones, the relief you felt was enough to spread through your body and make it weak, having the sensation you could reach the ground at any moment, but there was no problem, your cowboy was finally back home.
Noticing you, your despair and your eagerness to see him, Jack immediately got off the couch and finished the path towards you by running. Welcoming you into his eyes, you jumped on him, crying and gripping his body against yours as if your life depended on it. You cried as you felt his hands running up and down your back, the way he whispered sweet little soothing words, reminding you he was finally safely home. You couldn't believe it, one moment you felt terrified you'd have to move onto a sad, depressing life without your cowboy, and then next, he was right there, for you. You also knew he was tired, hungrily, bruised and in need of a shower and certainly a lot of Gingerâs painkillers, but you allowed yourself to be a little bit more selfish and keep him to yourself, holding your husband and taking every bit of him.
"It's okay sugar, I'm home⊠it was the last one, I promise you, from now on, I'm retired Agents Whiskey, no more leaving my family behind to risk my life for othersâ he promised you with his whole heart, not being able to take your sadness at the realization of how much you'd suffered with him gone. He couldn't do that to you nor your family, he had priorities in life, and they would always be you, Wyatt and Rosie.Â
The way Jack kept you in his embrace, face buried into your neck, your sweet scent reminding him of home and showing him that just like you, he wasn't dreaming, he was indeed back home from a mission he didn't die for a true miracle, his heart calmed down. You could've stayed in that embrace forever, it was all your heart begged and ached for, nothing more or nothing less, and the only thing that was able to break that hug was when Wyatt's voice shouted a happy âdaddy!!!â at the top of his little lungs, followed by Rosie's cooes and loud baby noises, the cowboy's eyes filled with tears at that scene. It wasn't just his sugar, it was also his kids claiming for him, his family who waited hopefully and patiently for him to come home to. He opened his arms to them, Wyatt running as fast as his favorite horse and Rosie being brought in by Helen, but it didn't take very long until she was in her daddy's arms, cooing and gripping his cheeks like she always did while he kissed her sweet face. There was no reason to cry or be sad about stuff, the Daniels were reunited again.Â
                            âąâąâą
The next couple of hours went by in a blur, you felt anesthetized at everything that went on, and while Jack had to sit down with Ginger - and Champ who arrived about an hour later and got them all locked into your cowboy's office, Helen insisted you to take a bath, followed by a calming herb tea, while she kept an eye on the kids for you.Â
You never really knew what went on during the mission, it was top secret after all, the only thing you were informed about was that the mission was dangerous, but a success, and Jack Daniels, now retired and former Agent Whiskey had been a hero. As a thank you for all the years of service, Champ gifted your husband with a significant part of the Statesman's shares, which would assure you and your family a comfortable future to put it mildly. Not only that, but he also offered your cowboy his CEO job, not the whole chain, but from the local factory, which meant he didn't have to drive more than just a few miles until the distillery, sit down at his desk, get his demands done and come back at the end of the day to see his beautiful family. It certainly brought you a big relief, your cowboy would be safe and sound and your kids would grow up with their dad around.Â
Once everyone finally went home, Jack had clarified all the professional details, he was able to shower, eat and have you take care of his wounds, stitching him up and patching him up, he was finally good to go. Of course, he had a 5 o'clock growing due to the days he was unable to shave, but he would have enough time for that. The important thing was that the four of you lay on the couch of your living room, relaxing and letting the calmness sink in. Your cowboy sighed relieved as he rubbed your arm up and down, at the same time the kids yawned but fought so hard their sleep. Wyatt was rubbing his little eyes, and yet, he didn't want to go to sleep at all, his tiny little hands caressed Rosie's thin and soft hair, the one that smelled like strawberry baby shampoo and he loved it. He giggled at her, who returned her big brother's affection by giving him a sweet gummy smile.
"Mommy, daddy, can I continue telling Rosie about the wedding?â Wyatt asked between yawns as Jack chuckled and nodded, his fingers toying with his son's soft curls, the feeling of his feeling surrounding him was better than anything he'd ever experienced before.Â
"Go ahead little cowboy, just don't forget telling your pretty little sister how beautiful mama wasâÂ
At his daddy's incentives, Wyatt let out one last long yawn and looked at his sister.Â
âSo, Rosie⊠about mommy's and daddy's wedding. Mommy was so pretty!âÂ
                           âąâąâą
The unusual warmth for December allowed you to have the wedding of your dreams: right by the willow trees, just as you had fantasized about since you were just Whiskey's girlfriend a few years back. Time flew by just as a lot of things between the two of you, things that had finally been settled and worked on, and your happy ending was near. You stared at yourself in the mirror, in awe at the fact the wedding dress suited you way better than you thought it would. It was a relief, as your pregnancy progressed, one of your bride's fears was not fitting into your special dress on your even more special day. Luckily, that wasn't the case. Everyone who helped you get ready, had been nothing but kind and honest, when they all told you you looked beautiful, but none of these compliments were nearly as heart warming as your son's, whose little eyes got brighter the moment he spotted you. He had insisted on getting dressed along with his dad, since he was convinced cowboys should help each other, but once he was ready in his adorable cowboy attire, he insisted on helping his mama this time, after all, you two had been best friends for a long time, so it was fair he would be by your side. Not only that, since he'd been officially invited to walk you down the aisle, Wyatt had noticed how important his task was, and he didn't want to do his mommy dirty, he wanted things to be perfect, so once he rushed to you, you simply got on your knees to hug your little man. In a way, if it weren't for him, none of that would be happening.Â
"You're beautiful, mommy!âÂ
There was something Wyatt wasn't tired of saying, perhaps it was all the kindness you had in your heart you used to raise him well, or maybe he was just taking after his dad in being a charming cowboy, it was still too early to figure it out, but what really mattered for you, was how proud you were of the little human being he was becoming. Those were motivational things that assured you things were on the right track, when it came to raising and loving your family. As you twirled and your son clapped in excitement, he giggled and wrapped his little arms around your legs once more, not containing his urge of hugging his mommy once more. It never crossed his witty mind that it could wrinkle your beautiful dress in any way, but if you were being honest, neither did it go through your own mind. You'd never refuse any of your beloved onesâ caresses out of fear of wrinkling a piece of clothes. Things were perfect the way they were, you couldn't want anything more for the three - well, now four, of you.Â
"Mommy! Daddyâs so nervous! He can't waitâ Wyatt whispered between his giggles, not sure if that was gossiping or not, but he didn't see any harm in telling his mommy about important things like that, and those were important to him. You chuckled and held him again, placing a peck on top of his head and nodding.Â
âWell, I'm nervous too⊠it's a dream daddy and I have, you know? It's coming true⊠it's like having so many butterflies in your tummy, kinda like when it's your birthday and you can't wait, that's all you can think of and you feel as if your tummy is funny but in a good way?!â You explained to him the best way you could, a way you knew your son was going to understand and you couldn't be happier about the face Wyatt was so damn smart. Good thing both your and the Daniels genes were a good mixture, because he took you by the hand with his smaller one and nodded.Â
âIt's time mommy!âÂ
The walk from the house to the willow trees didn't seem to be that long before your wedding day, you could've sworn things were a lot easier than they seemed at that moment, but each time you looked at your son's pure determination in taking you to his daddy, your heart calmed down. You figured your husband was as nervous as you were, but not only that, he was probably as happy as you were too, and in addition to it, he must've been so handsome. You just didn't expect him to be that handsome. So handsome that the moment you reached the willow tree path, everything seemed blurry and not so important. The decorations you knew were beautiful, the fairy lights on the trees, the roses all scattered around, the guests, all of your friends, fellow agents and important people who took part in your lives, all of that simply came second the moment you spotted your cowboy. Jack was so handsome, the gorgeous, flawless suit he'd been gifted by Eggsy and the Kingsman simply fit him like a velvet glove, perhaps it was that, or the way he took off his cowboy hat in respect at your entrance, knowing you should be the spotlight, after all, you were the bride, just not any bride, you were his bride and that was enough to make that old mushy heart beat nearly out of his chest. It was like nothing existed at that moment except you and him, and once the song played and your son took you by the hand, accomplishing the very expected task given to him, you could barely believe that was real, but it was, and you were marrying your cowboy.Â
As you stood in front of your fiance, you swore you never felt such a stronger wave of love for him. You both had gone over so many things, but in the end, love overcame it all and there was no other way things would be like, you and him would finally be together, married, before the men and before God, forever and ever.Â
"You look gorgeous, sugarâ he whispered and took your hand, kissing it gently, before he turned to the priest and you did the same. The ceremony was short and full of beautiful words, exactly like you and Jack wanted. No boring services where you both and the guests would fall asleep halfway towards it. Your cowboy always defended the idea of small ceremonies and large parties, and you couldn't agree more. When you were both pronounced husband and wife, he kissed you, and you returned the kiss, the way he held you in his arms showing you it was real and meant to be, oh that cowboy meant business. But he didn't just stop there, once he broke the kiss, he got on his knees in front of you, like the gentleman he was and pecked your stomach very gently. An obvious and yet extremely delicate way of breaking the news to the world there was a new member of the Daniels family on their way.Â
                             âąâąâą
As you carried an asleep Rosie into your eyes while Jack did the same with Wyatt - your husband was a gentleman, he carried the heavier one so your back wouldn't hurt - he couldn't help but chuckle.Â
"He fell asleep before telling her about our wedding party, that was a good oneâÂ
"And he couldn't even get to her birth either, but don't worry Jack, I'm sure we'll all be gifted with his version of the facts, all they gotta do is recharge their batteries for a little while and they'll be good to go, way better than us, by the way, because I'm exhaustedâÂ
"Me too, sugarâÂ
Your cowboy planted a sweet peck on your lips, watching as you placed Rosie carefully in her crib and covered her up, tucking your gorgeous daughter in and allowing her to fly into her sweet dreams. Then, it was your son's turn, you followed Jack into Wyatt's little cowboy room and watched him do the same, tucking your son gently and wishing him sweet dreams with the loveliest whisper and closing the door behind him. And then it was just the two of you, finally the two of you.Â
As Jack took you to your shared bedroom, you could already see a hint of sadness in his eyes. He was sure you were about to enquire about what happened on that mission, but the only thing you did was approach your cowboy carefully and slowly and kiss him. Feeling his heavy hands resting on your hips as they brought you closer to him at the same time you wrapped your arms around his broad width. Things didn't have to rush, not now, not at the moment where you were so deep into his caresses. As he broke the kiss, you stroked his cheek.Â
"I know, Jack. I know you aren't supposed to talk about what happened on that mission, I'm aware it's top secret, but I also know you nearly died, so I just want to tell you I'm thrilled to know you aren't doing it again, I'm so happy you've finally retired, that way I don't have to worry about not having you coming back home to me, and well, us, your kids, your family. I just love you with all my heart, and I don't think I'd bear becoming a widowâŠâÂ
Your lips were immediately connected with his, as he felt the urge of kissing you once more, the way your words stung - because he knew you were correct, he knew missions were getting more and more dangerous, either that or perhaps Jack was becoming too old for that. But he also knew he had no right to screw things up, not when you two had built a gorgeous family, he didn't have the right to take that away from you by letting you become a widow, and god forbid Jack die before enjoying his marriage and kids. It wouldn't be fair, not after everything you two fought so hard for - still, your words melted his heart all at once, he loved you endlessly, more than anything in the world, and he wished he knew how to word that out for you, so a gentle kiss was the best he could come up at that moment.Â
âYou won't lose me, sugar. I promise you that much, you got all of me, I am retired and I'll be around so much you gonna get tired of my face all the timeâÂ
âI doubt that, cowboy⊠I love youâÂ
"I love you too, my beautiful sugar. You're the woman of my dreams, my beautiful wifeâ Jack kissed your hands as he wrapped his arms around you, placing you down the bed and straddling you. He was having his way with you that night, something the two of you anticipated so much. There was nothing you wanted more than to sink into your cowboy's arms. Forever.Â
                            âąâąâą
What Wyatt failed to tell his little sister before the two of them fell asleep exhaustedly wasn't the biggest part of the story, but you were sure he would've told her how good the yummy food was - and that he was the one who helped you pick it all up, and in case you and their daddy decided to get married again, for the party purpose of course, and nothing remotely similar to a breakup, Wyatt was sure you'd call Rosie for her help too. He would also tell her about how pretty it was to see the two of you waltzing, exactly like a princess and a prince, and how you and his daddy danced with Wyatt on the dance floor until he was too tired to remember what happened next. For the following months, there was nothing more than just pure bright happiness in that ranch. Wyatt started school, he was still in kindergarten, and as much as you and Jack were proud of your little boy, you could've sworn you saw a single tear run down your tough cowboy's cheek. He was thinking of how many important things he'd missed from his son's life, but that wasn't going to happen again. He was a present dad, the kind of person to attend any type of teacher-parent conference and be there all the time for his kids. He loved them with all his heart, and with the months progressing along with your pregnancy, Jack had stayed by your side at any given opportunity. He loved you, and he loved his baby girl, and every single night he dreamed of her; he dreamed of her sweet face, a face that resembled yours, as well as Wyatt's, and even resembled his own. He wondered what her hair and eye color would be like, and as he saw your pregnant belly swollen with his baby, the love seed he planted there, it also made his own heart swollen with pride.Â
When you woke up cramping and soon enough your water broke, he felt he had won the damn Superbowl, driving you to the hospital in his Bronco at the speed of light and later on having Helen pick up Wyatt from school and take him to the hospital. By the time your lovely little cowboy was officially a big brother to your newest bundle of joy: Rose Marie Daniels.Â
Although Wyatt insisted on calling her Rosie because he thought it was cuter and the nickname sort of caught on. If you usually went by âsugarâ, your husband and son went by âcowboyâ, why couldn't your beautiful daughter go by âRosieâ after all?
And so went on your life as a married woman to the man of your dreams and your two beautiful children. There was nothing you could ask for, you had it all, and you loved every single part of it.Â
                              âąâąâąÂ Â
A whole year had passed: your cowboy had finally gotten used to his retirement, out go super secret dangerous missions, and in come mornings spent at the distillery, supervising the production of the finest Statesman's liquor, afternoons spent taking care of the ranch and carrying Rosie all over, as the two of them waited eagerly for Wyatt to come home from school. You had talked to your husband about daycare, he knew it was quite a good idea, his baby daughter was smart and fast as a thunder, but the mere idea of sending her off to spend the whole day away from him was enough to tear his heart apart: he couldn't go without watching silly little cartoons, or making cute piggy tails on her soft hair and allow her to take a daily nap on top of his chest and belly. She was almost turning two, and as much as it mesmerized him to see her blossoming and growing up so fast, it still saddened him to see how fast time flew by. He was getting a third kid fever, but he wasn't sure if it was happening; maybe it was, he still needed to talk to you about it, but those were later plans, he still had so much to do with his life, with his family, he wanted to enjoy Wyatt, who was now nearly turning 8. His beautiful Rosie was practically a toddler now, and there was nothing more he enjoyed in the world than picking up Wyatt from school and letting the kids run loose with you in the green fields while he grilled his famous burgers. Those were special days, because they had nothing elaborated in them, just a family moment among the Daniels, something the brokenhearted cowboy thought he would never get, but turns out he did. He deserved it all. After trying so hard to convince himself he didn't, after trying to convince himself he was just a heartless man, he was shown he wasn't a horrible human being as the two of you had thought several times. You two had come along a long way, but in the end, things had worked out, because your love was big and strong, and nothing in the world could come between you.Â
As you watched Wyatt and Rosie playing with Silver Star, you walked to Jack, wrapping your arms around his body and kissing him deeply. His face was smooth as always and his mustache always trimmed, just as you loved kissing and riding quite often. You smirked at him and snuggled him.
âSo, have you made up your mind, honey?âÂ
"About what, sugar?âÂ
âYou know, running for mayor in this upcoming election..âÂ
You and Jack had discussed it, more likely drunkenly discussing the possibility, you didn't know if he had actually meant that, but you knew your husband well enough to see that fire in his eyes and the genuine will to help the ones in need and give it back to the city that took him in. He returned the smile and kissed your neck, warning a groan from you.Â
"I still don't know, I think of it sometimes, it would be nice, I know I'd have support from you, the kids and quite a lot of people in town, but I worry it would make our lives too exposed you know, and I don't want that, I love our life the way it is, how happy and calm those kids are, I don't know about mixing up thingsâŠâ
âWell, I want you to remember I love you and I'll support you no matter what. I gotta admit it makes me feel a little nervous to have this possibility of getting into politics and having our lives changing completely, although I'm sure I'd love to call you Mr.MayorâÂ
And at that naughty line, you earned a smack on your butt, making you squirm softly and see your cowboy really enjoyed the nickname, even if he didn't try running for mayor. Still, there was something else you knew he wanted, it could be a future plan too, but it wouldn't hurt to talk about it.Â
"You know, I was thinking that maybe in the near future, we could have a third baby⊠what about adopting this time?âÂ
And your cowboy's heart nearly exploded with happiness and excitement. There was nothing he wanted more than seeing his family grow. No matter if it was by blood or simply by love, for a man who bought a ranch to fill it in with broken promises and lost dreams, nothing made him happier than to see his family running all over that place with so much joy and excitement. The happy giggles and squeals, and to think that could even grow, it was just an endless bliss, the kind of bliss Jack Daniels, former Agent Whiskey had to pinch himself and make sure he wasn't asleep, but instead, it was his lovely, beautiful reality.Â
"Daddy!!! We're hungry!âÂ
Wyatt chimed in as he ran to him, followed by Rosie, who clung to her dad as if her little life depended on it.Â
"Yes, daddy, weâwe hungwy!â She imitated her big brother, still not able to pronounce the Râs properly and making her daddy's heart melt into a puddle of love and affection. He got on his knees, wrapping his arms around his children. He loved them with all his heart. Just as much as he loved you, deeply, more than anything he had ever loved anyone.Â
Jack Daniels, former Agent Whiskey, a man whose heart was once broken, was now a man full of love. He was devoted to his wife and his beautiful kids, nothing in the world mattered more than them and for someone who had been known as a heartless man, he was nothing but love and comfort for you, Wyatt and Rosie.Â
The four of you were perfect for each other and maybe in the near future, there would be another addition to the Daniels, but until then, that cowboy was going to devote himself completely to you.Â
He wasn't ever called a heartless man again, not with that amount of love he felt overflowing through himself. He loved and he received love, just like he was supposed to, just like he deserved it.Â

Lando Norris (McLaren) - Santa's Helper
Requested: yes
Warnigs: cute Christmas stuff
Lando dropped his bags on the floor to his childhood home. Once the season was over, he would always do the same; pack his bags, enough clothes for the month of December to stay with his family until the New Year when he'd have to go back to the factory. "Lando? Is that you?" his mother called from the kitchen. "Yeah mum, I'm here." Lando began walking towards the kitchen when a heavenly smell hit him. The scent of freshly baked goods and cinnamon lingered in his nostrils. "What are you cooking?" Lando asked, walking into the kitchen but stopped dead in his tracks as he saw her sitting at the table, a mug of tea in hand and a cast on her foot. "Mum? What happened?" Lando asked, worried as anything. "I had an accident the day before your race and I didn't want you to worry." she smiled. "Well I'm worrying now, mum!"
"Cisca? Are you alright?" Lando and his mum turned to the door and saw a girl walk in. "I heard the front door open-" She met eyes with Lando and smiled. "You must be Lando. Cisca talks a lot about you." Lando was too stunned to speak (had to add a tik tok reference I'm sorry) She chuckled. "Well, I should take these biscuits out then. Can't let them burn." The girl smiled, turning towards the oven. Lando couldn't take his eyes off her and his mum could tell. "Lando? Can you help me into the living room please?" his mother asked. Lando snapped out of his thoughts and came back to reality. "Oh, yeah. Sure." He helped her up and began walking out with her slowly, not saying anything until they were out of the kitchen.
"You need to stop staring at the poor girl." she joked. "I wasn't staring. I just didn't know we had a visitor for Christmas." Cisca chuckled to herself. "She's quite pretty, isn't she?" Lando felt himself nodding but stopping himself immediately. "Who is she?" he asked. "Y/n. Our neighbour down the avenue. She's been helping me with gardening and cooking since I hurt myself." Lando's eyebrows knotted in confusion. "What? What about the old woman done the road? I though she was our neighbour." He said. "She passed away in June, remember?" Lando nodded. "That's her grand daughter." Lando looked back at her, quickly moving the hot biscuits to a plate to cool. "So she's staying down at the house?" Cisca nodded. "She is. Will I see you bringing the dog for a walk down by her house every morning then?" Lando shook his head. "Absolutely not." Cisca wasn't buying it. Lando obviously liked Y/n quite a lot from the few seconds they had briefly seen eachother. "Then maybe riding the horses. She does it every evening with Flo." Lando wasn't big into horse riding or doing show jumping or anything but for a hot minute, he was considering doing some horse riding in the mornings he was there. "Nah, I'm here to relax, not run around doing horse riding." Cisca raised her eyebrow. "You say that but I know for a fact you will ask Flo once you don't see me."Â
Over the few weeks that Lando was at the Norris household, Y/n would always come in at the crack of dawn to bring the horses for a walk and help Flo and then, after lunch, she would return with some food she picked up from the town's Christmas market. After that, she would help around for a while and leave before coming back after dinner just to check up on them. He loved when she came around and even more so when they'd share little conversations.
When Christmas Day had rolled around, Lando woke up bright and early, expecting Y/n to come on up to the house. He waited and waited. 6am. She wasn't coming. 7am. Wasn't coming either. It had gotten to about 8 in the morning and Y/n hadn't walked up the avenue. "Lando! Come on down!" he heard his father call up. He walked down the stairs to see Flo putting on her layers of jackets so she wouldn't get cold on her morning ride and Lando decided to go. "Flo? Would I be able to go on a horse ride today?" Flo looked at him, visibly confused. "You never go horse riding. What's the catch?" Lando shrugged his shoulders. "A change of heart maybe. It's Christmas, I wanna spend some time with you."
"Looking for Y/n?" Flo grinned. "Oh shut up. I'm not looking for her, just wondering where she is. Isn't she the one who usually does this with you?" Lando asked, trying to steer the conversation in another way. "Well yes, but she's staying with her boyfriend for Christmas." Lando felt a tug at his heartstrings. "Huh, didn't know she had one." In an attempt to try and make himself sound u bothered, he ended up sounding immensely hurt. "Are you alright Lando?" Flo asked him. "Yeah, of course. Why wouldn't I be?" Flo knew Lando well enough to know he was in fact feeling down and she could figure out why too. "How about we go back and get some tea? It's getting way too cold out here." Lando nodded in agreement and followed her back, not a word being shared.
That day went so slowly. Without anything for Lando to anticipate on, or look forward to, it was far too slow of a day. Later in the evening, the whole family were sat around the table for Christmas Dinner. They pulled at the Christmas crackers, put on the hats and overall had a good time but Lando still felt something not quite right. He'd spent every Christmas with his family, always with the same people but this year it was as if a family member was missing or something. Everyone was grabbing whichever delicacies they wanted, ready to eat when the doorbell went. Lando stood up. "I'll get it, go on eating." Lando set his cutlery to the side and walked out to the front door, undoing the locks and then opening the door. He froze. Not because of the temperature outside but because of the person standing at the door. "Y/n? What are you doing here?"
"Hi Lando. Mind if I come in? It's freezing out here." Lando moved aside and let her walk on in. He looked at her, subconsciously smiling but then his face dropped. Outside, it was dark so he couldn't see her very well but enough to make out who she was. Now she was inside, full of light, he noticed her red, puffy eyes. More than likely from crying. "Are you alright?" Her bright smile, slowly faded into a frown and then, the tears came back. "Aw, what's wrong?" he pulled her into a hug as her tears stained his jumper. "I- I don't know why he decid-ded to- I didn't- do anything." she sobbed. "What happened?" he asked her. Y/n looked up to her. "He dumped me." Lando pulled her in for a hug again. "I'm so sorry.
"Here, how about you come in for Christmas Dinner?" Y/n's jaw dropped. "Oh my god, I forgot it was Christmas." Lando laughed. "It's alright, just come in and eat something." Lando began taking her coat off and then hanging it up. "Lando, I'll just go back to mine until tomorrow, really-"
"No, come on." Lando took her hand in his and tried bringing her into the dining room but she stopped him. "Let me wash my face. I don't want to go in looking like I cried." Lando nodded and walked to the bathroom with her. He stood outside, waiting for her to finish up and when she came back out, she looked fresh as a daisy. "You feeling alright now?" she nodded. "Yeah, let's go then."
After dinner, Lando sat at the porch his family jumped around, dancing in the garden. He could only smile and watch it all happen. "Not goin to join your family?" Lando heard a soft voice from behind him. He turned his head to see Y/n walking out the door, shivering as she met the cold air. "Nah, not one for dancing." He explained. She nodded. "Would you like to dance?" Lando locked eyes with her. Y/n smiled softly at him. "Of course. Only if you teach me though." She grinned and took his hand into hers, before starting a swaying movement. "That's all there is to dancing? I Should've done this ages ago." Y/n shook her head, laughing away to herself. "No, you muppet. I'm starting slowly."
"Can we keep it like this? I like dancing like this." She let out a sigh and greed and so they continued on swaying. They were joking, laughing, dancing. It was pure bliss and then her head rested on his chest, listening to his heartbeat. He liked this feeling of belonging. He liked being around the people he loved and with someone whom he hoped to love. "Lando?" He hummed in response. "Thank you for earlier." Lando smiled to himself. "Don't mention it. Friends have to look out for eachother, don't we?" She grinned and looked up to him. "Hopefully I see a bit more of you when I'm helping around at the house." Lando laughed. "You're like Santa's helper. Like a little elf."
"I like being an elf. It means I get to meet some great people." She paused. "People like yourself." Lando felt his cheeks heating up. "I'm gonna say likewise." He chuckled. Y/n's phone buzzed. She looked at it and sighed. "I have to go. I forgot I have to drive to my mum's tomorrow so I'm gonna get an early night." She walked back inside and grabbed her coat, returning a minute later, all wrapped up like she was a matter of hours ago. "Call me when you get there." Lando said, walking along with her. "I don't have your number so I'll ring the house phone." She said. "Yeah, you can ask for my number then." She stopped and blinked at him. "What?"
"Merry Christmas Lando." Lando embraced her. "Merry Christmas." He whispered back. "Just drive safely." She scoffed. "I wouldn't tell me to drive safely. I've seen you drive." Lando chucked at her light hearted joke. "I get paid to, there's a difference." She smiled. "I'll talk to you soon, Lando." She said. "I look forward to it." and with that, Y/n walked away in the snow, her figure becoming more faded and faded until she couldn't be seen at all.

Your gasp pulls you from heaven to hell.
Extracted from your dream, youâre out of the covers in a flash, dazed as you try to meet your reality. The room was sweltering despite autumn settling in and the fan whizzing away in your room as it always did. The sound youâd grown so accustomed to only made it harder to think, but you didnât have to. The wet pools at your back and around your body suddenly made themselves known, with your black pajama top sticking to your sweaty skin. With a quick change into a tank top and a sip of cold water, you were ready to escape into a dreamland, far from the hellhole that had been your bedroom...
Only to be met with a small pool of a different kind when you pull away the blanket.
Fuck.
Quickly feeling between your thighs confirmed it - you bled through your shorts.
Well, at least itâs here, you think, your heart settling after days worrying about the sudden delay in your cycle. After all, Namjoon hadnât used any protectionâŠÂ
It was hard to put away the mental image of him once you were in the bathroom, remembering that one time he had you propped up on the cabinet, but looking through it now, the panic returns. You were all out of pads and tampons.
This is why people have roommates. Or stupidly organized Virgo boyfriends, you think, cursing yourself while rummaging through every drawer, cupboard, and overnight bag without finding a single tampon for the evening.Â
The minutes spent on your phone were quick to squash any more of your hopes - the delivery service app had been shut down for the night after some seemingly catastrophic bug on their end, and your female friends who lived nearby hadn't answered your texts and calls, as expected at this time of day.
Reading the time on your phone, you knew one person who would definitely be up. The person who always showed up. The man worked ridiculous hours, following his âlate-night creativityâ⊠unless the universe really wanted to torture you and, for the very first time, heâd be asleep as well.
You consider running to the convenience store, double layering your bottoms with black fabrics, and taking a scooter... only for a stinging cramp to shock you at your lower back.
He had to answer.

The knock, though expected, jolts you enough for your new bedsheet to spring away from your grasp once again. Frustrated, a groan escapes you as you walk to your front door, tightening the robe that covered your body and stained shorts.
âSorry Iâm late,â Namjoon giggles at the door, seeing your furrowed expression. âOh, youâre most definitely on your period, huh?â
âGet in here and shut up,â you groan once more, letting him in. All too familiar with your place, he unpacks one of the bags in his hand, carefully displaying an array of period products on the nearest table.Â
âIâm surprised you didnât send a photo and ask me to choose one,â you say, grabbing one of the boxes.
âI⊠I grabbed everything in the aisle without thinking. Shit, I shouldâve sent a photo, right? Are these not good enough? Are they the wrong size? Will they fit your....? I can go to another convenience store,â he murmurs, head tilted down as he surveys the products before you.
âNo, Namjoon, honey, the photo is just a thing boyfriends tend to do when theyâre asked to get period products. You asked the same size and fit question, though,â you laugh before quickly realizing you compared his actions to that of a boyfriend. Something he most definitely was not.
âI lived in a dorm full of boys, how was I supposed to know?â he says, scratching his head.
âThese are perfect, and Iâm stocked for at least the next three months. Thank you, Joonie,â you say, squeezing his arm.
âAnytime, Y/N,â he replies quietly, pulling you closer to him so he can kiss your forehead. It only hits you both when your hand is rubbing at his back in his embrace, and it takes even longer to break away than it did to realize the situation.Â
Something shifts in Namjoonâs gaze when he sees you emerge from the bathroom in new pyjama shorts. âCute PJâs. Iâm not used to seeing them on you for more than five seconds.â
âEnjoy the show, then,â you quip, plopping down next to him on the couch and extending your legs over his lap. You hadnât really meant it as a command, but canât help but smile catching the fact that Namjoon had obeyed. His fingers draw mindless circles at your ankles as his gaze travels upwards. Minutes are spent in silence, eyeing your thighs with intent before his eyes rest on your exposed clavicle. His circles stop, gripping your ankle and noting the undeniable rise and fall of your breathing and breasts, swollen and tender against your thin cotton tank top.
âOh,â he finally says with a cough, breaking the silence and raising his brows. âI almost forgot. I thought you might need these.â
Leaning forward, Namjoon dumps the entire contents of the second plastic bag onto your hard coffee table. Small, colorful circles bounce off of it and onto the floor, long bars land with a thud, and instantly recognizable plastic packages are cushioned by its contents.
âOh, Joon. I do. I do fucking need this,â you let out, almost as a moan. âYou already know what I want.â
Smiling, he tears open a plastic packet of your favorite chocolate-flavored bread and another for himself. The time spent biting and savoring the pillowy snack was heavenly in the comfortable silence -save for the birds that begin to chirp from somewhere outside your window.
âDonât worry, I havenât forgotten the sticker,â you say, handing Namjoon the tiny square envelope in your now-empty plastic packaging. Heâs quick to grab it from your hands, giddy to see whatever Pokemon character was inside.
"Take mine, too," he says, handing you his square, with an illustration of a pink, deer-like creature - not at all like the Pokemon he usually mentioned.
"Oh, sheâs pretty!â
"Exactly..." he says. "Deerling, that's her name. She's a new favorite of mine, actually. Her colors change based on the different seasons in the year... and when she evolves, her deer form's antlers are basically how branches are decorated in nature: budding flowers and leaves for spring, greenery for summer, you get the picture. She's the only one that truly encapsulates the beauty of our world..."
"All that for a Pokemon? I'm jealous," you tease, but he doesn't laugh, quietly opening the envelope you'd handed to him.
âYes!â he cheers. âI donât have this one yet - Moltres. Ah, you really are my good luck charm, huh?"
"Am I? I guess you should keep me around, then, huh?" you say, leaning back on the couch and poking his shoulder.
"That's the plan," Namjoon says, his eyes still thoughtfully fixated on the sticker he fiddled with, but only for a moment. âUhm⊠I⊠we⊠should probably get some sleep, huh? I should probablyâŠgo. Uhm, should I?â
âDo you want to go?â you ask, feeling a tightening in your chest at the thought. Just like all those nights in bed, it was too comfortable to remember that this wasn't your entire reality but stolen, secret time. Always, one found themselves reminding the other to snap back to reality. It was beautifully torturous, just as you two had liked it for so long⊠until it began to sink in that the beauty could stand on its ownâŠ. if only one of you had the courage.Â
ââŠ.No. No I donât really want to go, Y/N. But if you want me toâŠ.âÂ
âI donât want you to,â you interrupt, nudging his fingertip with yours right over your knees until your hands are intertwined. âI mean someone has to help me fit that stupid sheet onto the bed... and you're quite familiar with my sheets."
âI am,â he smiles, nodding to himself and squeezing your hand with his.
âThen we can get in⊠and just go to sleep⊠or cuddle,â you wonder, feeling Namjoon's soft hand under yours.
âLike couples do?â Namjoon asks, finally meeting your gaze for the first time that night.
âYeah⊠yeah, Iâm thinking like couples do,â you whisper, your breath hitching on the words that spoke your once unthinkable, far-fetched desire while looking at it right in the eyes.Â
âMe too,â he smiles, bringing your hand up to kiss it and rest it at his dimples. âLike couples it is then.â

David and Michael interview with Caitlin Tyrrell for Screenrant, 10.7.2023
Screen Rant: I love the show and this season is incredible! And you both are just fantastic in it!
David Tennant: Oh, thank you. Michael Sheen: On, let's end there. David Tennant: That's fine. Michael Sheen: Let's quit whilst we're ahead. Davie Tennant: You've said it. We're done.
Screen Rant: What was it like collaborating with Neil Gaiman on a new original story this season versus last season's adaptation?
Michael Sheen: Well, we'd always known from the beginning of season one, that there was more story that Neil and Terry Pratchett had worked out. They just hadn't written it down, but they had sort of developed the storylines and the possibilities for the characters quite far. In fact, some of that got put into season one. So for instance, the angel Gabriel isn't in the book. So that and the angels were added to it. So we were always aware that there was more story to come, but we just thought that it was going to be the episodes of series one, and that will be it. So the idea of going further, was always a possibility because we knew that there was more, but the reality of doing another season sort of developed really. Didn't it? It sort of crept up on us. David Tennant: Yeah. But working with Neil is a joy because he's genuinely collaborative. The story is his and the scripts are his, but he enjoys kind of discussing ideas and he gets a thrill out of what everybody else brings to it in terms of design and costume and makeup. He is a sort of natural collaborator and it's such a pleasure to have him around as a resource. And also just as a fan, because he's so sort of enthusiastic about the whole experience. Michael Sheen: So I guess within the parameters of what he and Terry had already discussed and thought about, I think he very much enjoyed watching how this relationship and these characters sort of developed through series one. And was able to then marry what what he and Terry had worked out with what we were sort of bringing to the characters, I guess. So it felt very collaborative, even though it's Neal who wrote it.
Screen Rant: It's fantastic. And then how was your understanding of Crowley and Aziraphale evolved from when you first read the script, or even the book to now?
David Tennant: Well I suppose it keeps developing, doesn't it? This series gives us lots of new insights into how their relationship came to be what it is, and how they have sort of coaxed and teased each other along the millennia. So I suppose it keeps developing, but there are things that happen at the end of this season, which definitely change their relationship. And if we ever get to revisit it, again, it will be in a different place. And there will be all sorts of reckonings to be dealt with. So it's an evolving process. Michael Sheen: It's definitely deepened, I think. Thinking back to when I first read the book, when I was I think about 20 or something in the early 90s, I guess. My understanding of the book then was based on how old I was, and my understanding of life, and that has obviously changed as time has gone on. But I think as we've played the characters more and as it's gone on into the series two the complexity of what's going on with them and between them, just seems to grow and grow in a way that I find really exciting and interesting to explore and to play. And so, I hope that, that can continue, because who knows where it'll go? I think there's so much possibility with these characters.
Screen Rant: I agree. I really hope we get to season 3, because I just want so much more.
David Tennant: Thank you.
Screen Rant: And then David, you're returning to another very beloved character of yours soon. What was it like jumping back into Doctor Who after all this time?
David Tennant: It'd been a while. 15 years or so. Yeah, but I just wanted to make sure I could still run as fast, and I seem to have got away with it.

Could you do another seizure one with Vince teaching his senior class? Maybe he goes to get up from his desk and drops something which alerts the students that something is wrong right before it happens and one of them rush to get Max. I was thinking it could hit Max in the feels a bit considering he's developing feelings for the guy. Vomit included please.
If you don't want to do a seizure, maybe a faint instead. I was just thinking seizure since he's already had two.
Please!
Hi darling! I know you requested a seizure before, but I tend to avoid those, because in my head they signify something more serious or an underlying condition!
But.... You said fainting is alright? So let's go!
------------
There were new episodes of Wendy's favorite sitcom, so Vince had slept late since they were watching it together at distance. It was well past midnight when his overenergized bunny of a girlfriend started yawning and Vince was out like a lamp not even thirty seconds after they hung up the call.
So it was to no surprise when he slept in. He knew for a fact he had woken up with his alarm, because it showed it had been disabled, but he didn't remember doing it. Whatever, he was so late he had only time to brush his teeth, put some deodorant on and change into the first set of clothing he found.
"Oh, cute, you guys are sharing clothes now?" Sophia said in that mean tone of hers, that caused Vince to reflexive frown. He hadn't had time to eat during morning and was forced to use his lunch to prepare for the other classes - something he should've done the night before - so now he was feeling more than a little queasy.
"What?" Vince glared at her, as the rest of her classmates started to get in and settle in their place.
"Your outfit, pookie," Sophia's smile was huge in her face and Vince glanced down, only then realizing he was wearing Luke's tshirt. It was definitely tighter than one of his would've been and it had a pinup girl on the black fabric, with goth makeup on and holding a cigarette where the smoke turned into a skull.
"Ah," Vince whined, "I didn't have time to check..." how did his sister even know this was Luke's was beyond him, "go sit down."
He had one more class after Soph's and then he could go home and lie in bed until the weird woozy feeling vanished.
They were talking about the World War II and normally Vince would spend half the class doing a presentation on the topic and then spend the rest of it debating, he was proud of having an engaging class, no matter how much the students thought History was boring.
Today, though, he was feeling increasingly dizzy and his mouth kept filling up with bitter, thick saliva that he didn't seem quick enough to swallow, so Vince let go of his pride and put on Jojo Rabbit, a movie he thought they'd enjoy, and asked them to write an essay on it.
"If we don't finish it during the class I'll make it available online and-" he swallowed against the weird pressure in his throat. It wasn't exactly nausea, but it sure as hell wasn't pleasant. There were a bunch of colorful little dots, like glitter, shining over the student's heads, "and you can finish it at home. I want a thousand words on nationalism and how it's displayed in the movie..." this was easy enough, right? Vince rubbed at his temples, trying to string together what else he needed to tell them, "it's due next week-"
"Next week!" A girl cried out, "Mr. Monacelli, there's no time to do it for next week-"
Oh please, Vince frowned, gulping down what now was definitely nausea. He breathed slowly through his mouth, "What do you guys have next week?"
"Trig exam," a boy that Vince actually thought was a great student, Chris, answered, "can't it be for next next week?"
Whatever you guys want, was what Vince thought, but in reality he just nodded stiffly, "alright, but then I don't want anyone not delivering and saying they-" he braced slightly against his desk, "they didn't have the time. We got a deal?"
There was a general murmur of agreement and he sat back down, "Maggie, hit the lights, please?" he requested the girl sitting right next to the light switch, then pressed play in his laptop.
Movie days were the kid's favorite, as they hurdled together in their little cliques and started chuckling along the picture. Vince glanced up, seeing Sophia squeezed between two girls, with her head leaning on the shoulder of one of them. He couldn't care less about them pushing their chairs together and the cuddling, that was not his business.
Vince stared at the little clock in the corner of his desktop, watching the minutes tick away. The A/C wasn't turned on, it was a chilly day, but the classroom was warm with so many people inside of it, yet Vince was easily freezing.
He rubbed his hands together, shoving them in his armpits and leaning back in his chair. Vince was nearly drifting off, when suddenly there was a knock in his door, startling most of his students.
He paused the movie, standing up and immediately regretted it. The whole room turned around him and Vince braced against his desk, taking shallow breaths through his mouth. The room was already dark to begin with, but there were bigger black spots in his vision... He squeezed his eyes shut and gulped down when his stomach flipped, vomit rushing up his throat.
He swallowed convulsively, there was no way he was going to puke in front of his students.
Someone was talking with him, a cacophony of noises and Mr. Monacelli spoken over each other...
Vin's knees gave up and he crumbled down.
He was out for just a minute, because when he opened his eyes again, the classroom was lit up, but his students were still there. Looking at him with huge, scared eyes.
Vin was flat on his back on the ground and he didn't dare moving, his head still felt stuffed with cotton and his mouth had that watery consistency of when he was about to throw up.
"Out, c'mon, everyone out. Go to the chem classroom and don't touch anything before I get there, I'm serious," Max's voice and Vince blinked, trying to find the blonde in the middle of the crowd. Freaking midget.
Slowly the room started to empty out as the teacher shepherd the kids away and Vince was left alone, with only Daniels and-
"What's wrong with you?" Sophia's voice had that whiny tone, as if she was about to cry, "Vin?"
"I'm- I'm okay..." Vince lied, but still didn't move. He wasn't feeling well at all and he knew if he tried to sit up, he was going to throw up on her lap, "go- go to class."
"No! I don't wanna-"
"You heard him, Soph," Max's voice was impossibly gentle, a tone Vince wasn't sure he had heard before, "go to class, I'm going to get him to the infirmary."
"He looks so pale..." Sophia whined, reaching without thinking to cup Vince's face.
He sighed, his sister wasn't the touchy type, so this brief touch meant she was worried as hell. Vince gulped down, "I'm okay, bambi. Go to class."
He only used this nickname with Livia nowadays, had stopped using it with Sophia years ago, but she melted immediately as he said it. She nodded, still pouting.
"I'm telling mamma."
"No, don't do-"
"I'm telling mamma!" Sophia hissed, not leaving any room for him to argue, "and you better really go to the infirmary," happy with her veredict, she got up and stomped out of the room.
No sooner she was out, Max let out a small amused huff, "she's worried."
"She's gonna cause our mother to be hysterical," Vince groaned, accepting Max's outstretched had and slowly sitting up against the wall. He didn't dare standing up, taking measured breaths as his head spun.
"What happened?" Max asked, eyeing him weirdly and Vince gulped down.
He couldn't answer, the nausea from before was catching up quickly and he didn't seem able to swallow quick enough.
"Vince," Max's voice gentle, but firm and a little exasperated, "you're a little green around the gills, are you gonna hurl?"
Vince wanted to say no, but he couldn't. He gave the other man a minimal nod and heard as Max cursed, lurching over Vince in order to grab the paper waste basket under his desk and shoving it in front of the man.
Vin grabbed it, white knuckling the edge and holding it up to his chin, but still fighting valiantly. He let out a little gag and leaned forward, grimacing as he felt Max grabbing his shoulder and holding him up.
He spat the thick saliva inside the bin, panting for air and feeling his head spin... Max pushed his curls back, tsking unhappily under his breath as he asked, "you got a hair tie? Your lion mane is in the way-" he clearly didn't expect an answer, removing his own hair tie in order to pull Vince's hair into a flimsy ponytail.
Vince coughed once more, this time managing to bring up a deep belch that felt like he had been pushed in the stomach, but nothing more. He sighed, lowering the bin slightly, "won't come up."
"Do you even have anything to come up?" Max frowned, moving so he was in front of Vince once more, "I didn't see you in the cafeteria today."
"You were-" Vince breathed in, forcing up another tiny burp, "you were looking?"
Max's concerned expression immediately turned into a frown, his whole face turning red, "No, I just paid attenti-"
"Relax," Vin interrupted him, closing his eyes and breathing in and out measuredly, "I'm just messing with you," he opened his eyes once more and forced a small smile, "can you help me to the infirmary?" he didn't like that he needed help, but Vince was being realistic. Even sitting down it still felt like the room was spinning.
"Yeah, of course-" Max wrapped an arm around his waist and Vince threw an arm around his shoulder, but the blonde let out a grunt as he pulled them both up, "fuuck you're heavy-"
"Muscle... Muscle is heavy," Vince stumbled, nearly falling and slumping against the blonde. They both wavered, but Max dug his heels, keeping him upright.
"It's like holding up a fridge," Max scoffed under his breath, causing Vin to smile.
Slowly they made their track down the hallway to the infirmary and the deja vĂș was not lost on Vince. He would've been more amused by it if the black spots weren't back and he wasn't struggling to put a foot in front of the other.
"Vince," Max patted his cheek lightly, "Monacelli, hey, look at me. Vince!"
Vin frowned, blinking a bunch of times to situate himself. He was now standing right in front of the infirmary's door, still held up by Daniels only.
"Why did we stop?"
"Your knees were buckling, you were going out on me," Daniels was glaring at him and Vince let out a chuckle as the expression reminded him of Jonah. The blonde's chocolate eyes squinted at him, "what's funny?"
"Nothing," Vince rubbed his face, trying to stand up straight, "you remind me of one of my friends, that's all."
"Uhm," Max didn't look convinced, but he shrugged after a minute, "a handsome friend?" he kept a hand on Vince's shoulder, while stretching out to knock on the infirmary door with the other one.
"Oh yeah, total pretty boy," Vince answered, leaning back against the lockers and breathing slowly as his head swam.
The next thing he knew, the school nurse was fussing over him and Max was complaining about his size once more, as they stumbled inside the small room and Vince was forced to crawl on the stretcher that was frankly ridiculously small for him.
"You look like a moose lying in a doll crib," Max voiced exactly what Vince was thinking, since his feet were dangling out of the stretcher and Vince had heard very clearly the thing creak under his weight, "you're sure this thing is not gonna crumble under him, Doyle?"
Mrs. Doyle looked horribly offended at Max's nonchalant address of her. She wrinkled her nose, in distaste and Vince buried his face in the flimsy, barely there, pillow, as he heard the woman say, "it can handle big people, Mr. Daniels. Don't you have anywhere to be? Vincenzo, who should I call?"
No one, Vince thought, letting out a groan. His mother would freak out and he wasn't sure he could deal with her energy at the moment. His dad was probably at work right now.
"I'll drive him, I just need to wrap up my class," Max's tone was gleeful and Vince opened an eye to look at him. The blonde was smiling smugly as he walked to the stretcher, "just how fast the tables turn, uh?" he crouched down to be at Vince's eye level, "I think Doyle just called you fat."
"I'm not fat, I'm big," Vince glared at him, "and fluffy."
Max's nostrils flared as he breathed in, amused, and patted Vin's arm, "yeah yeah, big and fluffy. Don't go anywhere, I'll come collect you in half an hour."
"Okay..." Vince closed his eyes once more and let out a small moan as it felt like the stretcher was going from one side to the other, like a hammock. The movement was starting to make him motion sick, but before the nausea could make itself known, he drifted off once more.

prompt: "you don't want me? don't lie to me."
pairing: kang the conqueror x (f)reader
word count: 559
warnings: eighteen+ content, spoilers for quantumania, implied smut, kang being kang, my usual poetic flare.
note: shoutout to my bby @tom-whore-dleston for giving me even more of an excuse to write for this hunk of a man, i may have reworked your req and made it so reader took janets place with the whole 'fix my ship' storyline, so i hope that's ok!
âYou donât belong here.â The stark contrast between the heat from his gloves and the heat of your skin makes you shiver as he runs a finger along your jawline. His face so close to yours that you can see just how deep the scars that mark his face run. How dark and rigid they are against his skin.Â
You wish it would make your stomach curdle.Â
Wish it wasnât making more questions and feelings start in your belly and go lower. Further into a region that has become too accustomed to stories of greatness and realities of time you can only dream of seeing, to offer you more than this realm you've reluctantly made your home. Your body has grown accustomed to his longing glances over a new discovery, the grazes of fingers when you're working together, his missionâhis presenceâgiving you a purpose. Something you hadn't felt in years until he came into your life.Â
Until he crashed and landed, lost and bruised, just like you.Â
Until he lit a fire in your blood, making you feel cloudy and irrational in your thinking, urging you to go down a path from which you may never be able to return.Â
âCome with me.âÂ
âIââ
âYou can.â He finishes for you. Smothers any words of protest or conflict with the look heâs giving you. With the way heâs touching you so gently, so unlike the conqueror youâve seen from his mind.Â
The very thing that gives you pause. Reason to recoil from him even when you donât.Â
Instead, there's an ache between your legs that keeps you immobile against him. Keeps you in his clutches, in his trance.Â
âThere is nothing here for you.â His fingers leave your jaw, move across your collarbone, and down your chest, leaving you breathless the lower they go. âI can give you everything. Show you infinite realities. "Give you everything you've ever wanted," he says, his palm splaying just below your belly button. Your nails dig into the tethers of your makeshift home, to keep yourself from falling completely in his arms, handsâto your knees from his promises. "All those images of me you've played in your head at night when you think no one can hear the noises you make," his lips feather-like against your ear. âCome true.âÂ
Embarrassment stings your chest. Sends your insides in a twist and pull against each other as your head shakes. A denial at the tip of your tongue, ready to end this and be done with it all. To send him on his way, away from your home, away from you and the temptation heâs luring you into, like an unsuspecting traveler falling into a sinkhole theyâll never get out of.Â
âYou donât want me?â He tsks, smirks against your ear. His voice low and authoritative: âDonât lie to me. It will only take longer to get what we both want.â His hand moves across your clothed mound, fingers putting the lightest of pressures on your pelvis that has your hips moving forward involuntarily.Â
âJoin me, and Iâll give you everything.â His mouth finds yours. Seals your fate with his tongue, giving way to every promise heâs willing to keep if you take his hand and watch beside him as he wins a war heâs ultimately made you a part of.
As he burns the world.

what the hell was going on
At what fucking moment were you in your best friend's lap, letting yourself be done by his beautiful long fingers buried deep in your pussy. Oh, sure. At the time when Beomgyu's big heart had not been able to allow his best friend to leave the house of one of her hook-ups unsatisfied after discovering his disastrous finger play.
Incomparable to Beomgyu's, by the way. You had no idea that your best friend had so much talent stored on his fingers, but you were more than happy to be discovering it.
A whimper escaped your lips when your friend's middle finger brushed your G-spot, Beomgyu smirked when he noticed you move on top of him and continued to abuse your gummy walls until your sighs turned into muffled moans on his neck. .
"Come on, sweetheart" he whispered in your ear, leaving a kiss behind your ear "Don't cover your face, I want to see you"
Gathering up enough courage and dignity, you rested your hands on his abs, rejoining his legs. You felt his abdomen contract under your blades and, right there, you felt it, something hard and hot touch your inner thigh, begging for attention.
"Shit, you're so-" "I know, darling" shushed you Beomgyu ", but right now focus on putting on a good show and showing what that asshole has been missing"
The knuckles of the boy below you (who you hadn't recognized as your best friend in a while) made wet noises as they hit your folds with dizzying force and speed. You felt like you were bordering on madness and the only thing you could focus your thoughts on was Beomgyu's digits making a âcomeâ gesture towards himself, bouncing into his hand and biting your lip when hearing his airy laugh.
âVery goodâfuck-, you're doing so goodâ you whimpered as Beomgyu's teeth kissed your neck, digging in with a care that belied the force and harshness of his actions in your south zone âAre you enjoying yourself, pretty? â
âS-so much âoh f-fuckâ
âMmhâ hummed the boy, wetting his lips hungrily âDo you like it when I touch you hereâŠ?â a little cry came from your mouth when his fingers curved, searching for your belly button "Come on, baby âshit, tell me how you like it, I want to make you feel good" with two fingers, he took control of your jaw, forcing an eye contact of what more intimate âdo you prefer to hard-dom me? I would do anything you asked me for those pretty eyes you make"
âI-I like to h-listen to you, g-gyuâ you were a trembling ball of blush and sweat, eagerly awaiting any delicious movement Beomgyu's fingers made.
"Is that right?" his thumb pressed on your lips, causing you to hug the intruding finger with your tongue "ahâ so obedient, didnâ even have to ask" you closed your eyes tightly at the strong praise that escaped from Beomgyu's mouth unconsciously "good job, princess" fucking god. You lost any remaining contact with reality, pulsing around the fingers embedded in your pussy and suppressing your moans with the boy's finger resting in your mouth.
"oh godâ you're squeezing so good " your shoulder blurred the dirty mutterings of Beomgyu, who was getting more and more lost in the curve of your neck "more, pleâ ngh, gyu p-please" "what a greedy girl I have, doinâ what he wants with me" the boy growled, enjoying the view that his position afforded him "come on, princess, use me, imagine you are using one of your pinkie toys on that pussy, mmh, just like that"
You began to rub against his bulge and fingers, seeing the stars as Beomgyu stimulated your clit with his thumb, continuing with his movements into your tight cunt. Your moans were heard above your friend's, which faded as his mouth made contact with your cheeks or jaw.
"you gonna come?" he whispered as he noticed the trembling and erratic jolts on his legs "tell m-me, sweetheart, words"
"'m gonna ângh- come!" tears began to form in your eyes and Beomgyu felt like his pants were going to burst at that sight
"are you âfuck!- gonna come on t-that dickheadâs cock?" you shook your head from side to side, making tears roll down your cheeks, but as you felt the grip on your jaw intensify, you remembered Beomgyu's call for attention. "Nuh-uh, gonna c-come on gyu's f-fingies!"
"fucking s-soak them, princess, go ahead, make me proud"
your orgasm hit you with a deep moan and several more tears. Beomgyu helped you ride it, murmuring more praise and petnames in your ear, praying you didn't notice his teary eyes from being edged into his pants.
Blinking, you came out of the trance you had plunged into in your post-orgasm, snuggled into your best friend's neck and calming circles being drawn on your thigh by his clean hand. You settled back on his lap and felt Beomgyu's hard cock through his pants and underwear poke at your cunt. You took a breath to speak but he cut you off before you could intervene.
"Please tell me that boy also fucked terribly, because I'm more than ready to give you the fuck of your life"
