     I study medicine and social justice with emphasis on emergency medicine and sex work, respectively. In addition to being a writer I’m also an activist, artist, and scholar. I’ve been writing Bel since 2015. She’s a very intricate and highly dynamic character who has gone through many changes over the years via her interactions.      Before I talk about the kind of conduct I’d like on my blog, this is the type of roleplayer and friend I aspire to be. I’ll strive to be as attentive and supportive as I can about your muse, ideas, as well as ooc presence. If we’re mutuals, you can expect plenty of inboxes, tag games, headcanons, relationship tags, to be tagged in & sent posts relating to our muses, general interaction, and emotional support proportional to the depth of our interactions when I’m online. Interactions

  When it comes to interactions, nothing motivates me more than an eagerness to develop our muses’ relationship. Depending on what works best for you, we can work on this via inbox submissions, plotting, or simply interacting. I have a tendency to write para/novella-length replies, but will strive to match you in length and style. Please include something I can actively respond to in your reply, because neutral replies can be very difficult to build upon, and please do not godmod her based on assumptions and/or stereotypes about her character/profession.

  With regards to ask responses, please feel free to turn them into threads by tagging me in a new post and cutting your replies. I’ll turn asks into threads if they inspire me, but you’re under no obligation to continue them if you’re not as motivated. When cutting, please don’t cut me out. Also, please don’t reblog asks with your reply or reblog replies with my tag if I don’t reply quickly enough. I track of all my threads to the best of my ability, so please check there first if you want to know the status of our thread. If I’ve missed a thread of ours, please help me out by sending it to me in a message so I can add it to the tracker. If you lose muse for a thread, please don’t feel pressured to continue it. We can always take a break or start something new. I don’t cap my threads and am always open to new interactions.

Selectivity

    Though I run a selective blog, I am not very selective in nature. I do have a preference for original and SnK/AoT characters, especially those that inspire me and challenge me. I’ll primarily look for interactions by checking blog rules for oc-friendliness, reblogging promos, asking to be mutuals in the tags, then follow back after that initial follow is granted. If you don’t want me to follow you, please block me completely because otherwise I’ll think it’s a mistake/glitch and follow you again. On the topic of glitches, they do happen so I apologize ahead of time if that happens above or below my radar.

    I don’t tolerate oc-negativity or ooc bigotry and will handle my blog accordingly. If you align yourself in any way with TERF, SWERF, homophobic, ace-exclusionary, racist, and/or xenophobic rhetoric, please do not interact. It’s important for me to surround myself with enriching content and community. I have boundaries and will be setting them for my own comfort as well as respect yours because mutual respect between muns is key to a healthy rpc.

Sourcing

    Please don’t do it. This goes for starters, ask memes, wishlist posts, and wanted connections. I understand we might not be the muse/mod duo you have in mind and that we don’t fit every situation, but please don’t fill my notifications with this sentiment, especially if we don’t have any established interactions yet. If our blogs have that much in common, there’s so much we could be musing about. If this happens excessively without us having any interactions, I’ll unfollow and/or block because I am a roleplay blog, not a resource hub. Original Character Disclaimer

    It pains me that something like this needs to be said, but Bel wasn’t created to force ship with your muse and/or overpower our threads. I will absolutely under no circumstances tolerate any form of OC negativity. I don’t care if you think they’re “cringey”, “underdeveloped”, “overpowered”, or any other iteration of not meeting your personal criteria of a good character. Opinions are valid but unsolicited bullying is not. It is important to realize that canon characters are still original characters bar their capitalistic franchise. The mods of original characters are a goldmine of free and original content and deserve to be judged by conduct, not content.

    If you’d like to support OCs, I invite you to scroll through and reblog a thing or two from my OC positivity tag, as well as follow and engage in meaningful interactions with the OCs in your orbit. Your encouragement could be what makes a content creator’s breakthrough, so please be kind and supportive. Saying you’re OC-friendly while providing an extensive grocery list of double standards OCs must abide by to be considered acceptable isn’t OC-friendliness. Likewise, musing an OC doesn’t automatically make you incapable of being exclusive (unintentional or not) so please be cognizant as well  and lets support each other.

I enjoy shipping and the occasional smut scene given the chemistry is right and both muns are equally invested in the relationship as well as comfortable with it.     I’m not very savvy with code, but I do try my best to keep my blogging accessible as I tinker and learn. If you struggle with accessing any part of my blog, let it be font size, style, or anything else, please let me know and I’ll do my best to accommodate because I don’t want to perpetuate elitism or ableism in the rpc. As far as reply formatting goes, I’ll usually stick to once small text (particularly in novella length replies via ctrl shift -) and spare use of italics, bolding, and strikethrough text. I may use unicode and/or zalgo for art captions, personal musing posts, crack threads, and other posts that call for it. Disrespect me? Get Shut Down and Blacklisted

So I used to work as a waiter at a fairly okay steakhouse around the US. Enjoyed my job, got great satisfaction from making people happy, had regulars who loved me and would only come in to see me (even long after the menu items they originally came for stopped being offered).

Well the company decides that this particular location needs a new General Manager. This is someone who was, as it turns out, fired from his last GM position for toxic behaviors including but not limited to sexual harassment of younger female staff.

A'ight, no big. I can roll with pretty much anything. Mostly because I’m very ‘out’ about being LGBT (specifically the T part) and surround myself with friends and family who are totally cool with that.

GM is an older gentleman, conservatively raised, and incredibly vocal about his personal politics (including, oddly enough, something about there being more trees in North America NOW than there has ever been, and how global warming is good because ‘all those trees need all that carbon dioxide anyway’). Odd fellow, not very well educated, but this is lower-end management at best anyway so what can you expect?

Well, as I’ve said, I was very much ‘out’ at work, and so would, when appropriate, gently remind my coworkers that certain pronouns are maybe… not the best used when referring to me. In reference to the GM, though this fellow would go out of his way to refer to me using an incorrect honorific- american south… Maam and Sir are just things everyone says regardless. It happens, I get that. But twice in every sentence is not an accident.  Going out of his way to dig up my 'dead’ name (the name I used before transition)… also not an accident.  Well, I’d been hearing from other staff that the new GM was being incredibly derogatory towards me when I wasn’t around as well, and decided that the mature thing to do would be to approach him in private and ask him about it. Maybe give him a chance to ask any questions he might have, or at least come to a mutual agreement (preferably one that doesn’t include deliberately-misgendering honorifics).  Turns out he’d rather have that conversation at the front door, while guests of the restaurant are still entering and exiting, despite my repeated requests to talk to him in a more private place.  I bring up my concerns. Not only are they true, but he’s been frothing at the bit to have this conversation with me, and spends the next solid twenty minutes lecturing me (I barely got in three full sentences- this man also doesn’t know that interrupting is inappropriate in a discussion). He brings up the fact that he has 'a degree in biology’… yeah so do I, but mine is thirty years more recent than his, guaranteed. He brings up the fact that it’s 'rude’, 'childish’, and 'stupid’ for me to even ask him to consider NOT using the honorific he’s decided is appropriate. He even goes so far to try to explain how chromosomes work to me. ….and.. clearly doesn’t understand at all how chromosomes work. In -any- species, H.sapiens included. So here’s the revenge part. I had taken about two weeks off, to be started the next day, in order to visit family in another part of the world for the first time in several years. So I simply went in the next day and told an office full of managers to.. not worry about putting me on the schedule come time. Two weeks off equals two weeks notice. No big. Got to fly the bird (In america, a rude gesture involving the middle finger alone) at GM who was in the office with other managers at the time.  Now that I was no longer employed at company, I was free to speak of my experience without fear of consequence. So I spoke to friends. Spoke to allies. Spoke to legal teams. All about this obvious discrimination and attempted bullying by someone in a position of power, in a part of the United States with very, VERY defined fairness ordinances explicitly in place to prevent LGBT discrimination in a city that is known by the region as being a 'hub’ for LGBT treatment and opportunity and resources and community. Friends called HR. Other co-workers contacted me about issues they’d had with the GM in the same vein. I included these (dates, times, names, witnesses, contact information for those who consented) in my own formal report. More friends called HR. And then MORE friends called HR. So many people called to complain to the restaurants public resources team that they would no longer ever come to said restaurant if this was the kind of behavior that was accepted as representing the company…. That the company closed the entire location with a week, and the GM has apparently been utterly blacklisted from the restaurant business in the city/county due to this scandal. Apparently it was more money than it was worth to fight the scandal, and the restaurant chain decided to cut their losses and close the site entirely.  (I would like to add that staff were heftily compensated/transferred/offered opportunities elsewhere and no one was 'kicked to the curb’ for being an innocent bystander) But it feels so good to pass by the now derelict building and think to myself “I did that. Frick that guy. That guy was awful.”

Update: JFGM... Who previously would brag about his house, with pictures, now lives in the apartment complex I do. And his wife/girlfriend/female flatmate now drives his big ugly truck more often than he does. (Or hell, maybe they divorced over him becoming unhireable in the only thing he half-assedly knows how to do and won the truck, I don't know)

((Since there wasn't anywhere really relevant to add this detail, the JFGM wasn't even especially good at being a GM. We would repeatedly run out of six ounce sirloins, as well as fries, on a friday or saturday night. The location was hemorrhaging money because of this GM even before the incident. Which no doubt added greatly to the decision to close down "The Original ...." ))

2 Years of SpiderWaifuIsBestWaifu!

As you guys probably guessed, this is the follow up to my previous post! And I have two topics I gotta talk about, so let’s get to it!

First of all, as the title says, today marks the second year since this blog’s creation! Though, the thing is that it wasn’t always RP-oriented. I’ll go over a bit of the history this blog amassed in the two years it’s been around. So if you’re interested, join me on a trip down memory lane! If not, skip ahead to the section that says “This Blog’s Future”, because that’s where the important announcement is at.

How This Mess Came To Be

I don’t know if I ever told this story here, but originally this was a personal made only to follow a few specific people, hence the unconventional URL (which was only a joke at first since I didn’t really plan on posting anything, but it grew on me immensely with time and now I don’t think I’ll ever get rid of it dfklgjg).

After a few days of lurking and following random UT-related art blogs and such, I came across a few people RPing, though I didn’t really know what RP was at the time. (90% of my life until then had been spent on the brazillian side of the internet, where RP wasn’t exactly common or known. So when I found blogs dedicated to characters interacting with eachother and answering asks, needless to say I was quite intrigued!)

After that, I decided that, despite my limited english skills back then, I would try joining in. And who better to start with than my favorite canon Undertale character, Muffet?

“Yes, I still exist!”

I don’t remember much of my earlier RPs, other than broken english and terrible, terrible punctuation. Ironically enough, I learned how to properly write by doing one-liner interactions with some other peeps on IC streams, which eventually lead to longer RPs and me catching up with the language. Well, that alongside massive amounts of character development, buuuut that’s a topic for another day. Somewhere during that time, I came across the release of a little fangame that grabbed my attention.

You might know it! it’s called Undertale Red. I downloaded it on release day, and played it about 5 times in a row just to see all the dialogue variations and little interactions I could get with the mysterious yet charming hooded monster with a short temper. A character with a personality strongly established during the course of a single fight, with fun mechanics (which could equate to fun writing if adapted correctly), and some details which almost instantly brought my interest to both the character’s design and her then-mysterious backstory. I had stumbled upon quite something. That’s when I decided to give writing for her a try, switching out from Muffet during one of the aforementioned IC streams. I was worried if I could even use someone else’s character like that, but luckily a FAQ about Red was already underway, and another Anon sent an ask inquiring about making a roleplay blog for her, with a positive response from the author. (I wonder if there’s another Red still out there!) Cut to a few days later, and my blog was made a multimuse, adding a certain nerd to the roster, which is undoubtedly the ‘star’ of this blog to this day.

“Guess who?”

Also, a small fun fact, this blog has two deleted muses. The first of which was...

Everyone’s favorite human. They were removed because I wasn’t entirely happy with my portrayal of them, and they only ever had a single IC interaction in the blog’s entire lifespan. The big ‘plot twist’ (which at the time wasn’t as common as it is now) was the reveal of their true nature as a Souless Pacifist, which would probably lead into some interesting interactions to say the least. Still, that plot got turned into a 11 month long D&D campaign me and a few friends ran a while back. Now this Frisk is completely hecking dead and deleted from the world itself. Oof.

And the second deleted muse, this one only a few months ago, was...

Kinshi! My first full-fledged OC, who got to see the light of day for a while in that same D&D campaign. I tried bringing her original iteration to the blog, but needless to say it didn’t exactly work out. She was kinda shoehorned into the plot and I kept her way too vague, even if I didn’t plan on revealing all of her information at the start. The original plan was for her to belong to a different timeline, one that was doomed to be deleted thanks to a neglectful player, and she was obviously looking for a solution by exploring other worlds and attempting to understand the nature of timelines better. Her story would have two outcomes, both bittersweet endings, with the sacrifice of her own soul to hold the timeline together, or its complete destruction with Kinshi herself escaping to a different world, unscathed but regretful.  ... which now that I write it out, sounds extremely cheesy and boring. I’m glad I didn’t go with that. However, that deletion and scrapped events didn’t signify the end for her! She’s recently got a full makeover backstory-wise and works as a cook at the Underground-famous restaurant, The Wishing Well! The timeline stuff got completely removed, and now she’s just a really grumpy monster who likes her job way more than she lets on. Aaaand that’s about all! Of course, I left quite a lot of stuff out, but I either don’t recall it well or I didn’t find it interesting enough to mention here. Besides, this post’s already long as it is. Moving on to the second topic I wanted to talk about here!

This Blog’s Future

Already went over a few issues in this post, and this is basically the outcome of that. I managed to get in contact with Taxiderby over Twitter yesterday, and after a brief conversation, got the all-clear to make Red into a fandomless character! Of course, I’ll be crediting them properly as I always have, though that’s a given with this sorta thing. Now, I know that’s a big change, but all in all, it’s not gonna be something negative. Here’s what it’s gonna affect:

What’s Gonna Happen:

Undertale will not be Red’s main verse anymore, and she will be adapted to an inespecific fandomless verse. However, the Undertale variant, along with a few others I plan to add, will be sticking around. I’ve been in this fandom since the first year of its existence, and I plan on staying ‘till the end. Just gotta branch out a bit more!

A possible change to the URL, making her Undertale verse with the current URL into a sideblog, or the other way around. I’m still unsure on this, though. Who knows, maybe I’ll just keep everything in the same blog for ease of access. We’ll see.

Not really important, but a complete revamp to my tag system. it’s commonplace in multifandom blogs, so if you don’t want to see a specific verse of Red, you can just blacklist the tag.

More interactions, hopefully! This is a big step I’m taking to make sure everyone’s least favorite doll will be around as long as possible!

What’s NOT Gonna Happen:

Any change to the character development in her UT verse. Everything will carry on the same as usual, especially with the Vanitas event going on!

Any major changes to Red’s personality/appearance/species/age. No matter the verse, she’s a doll. I don’t have any plans to make her a human, nor I ever will. (Obviously not counting M!As here, like that one time she got turned into a Dullahan.)

Any major changes to the rules. Other than some updates here and there (since those rules are old as dirt and I haven’t touched them up in a while), everything regarding rules is the same.

It’s gonna take a while until I get around to setting everything up for fandomless Red. So for now, Undertale is still the main verse, and nothing has changed yet. Buuut I already look forward to finding out where this development will take this blog and the character herself!

With a little twist and sass. Independence has been the name of the game lately, so, I’m taking back what’s rightfully mine and that is, my confidence.

I swear it just seems like yesterday where I was in Nordstrom Rack with one my girl friends picking through sandals and look at us, we’re at the end of summer and not once have I worn any gladiator sandals this year. I’m so glad that I didn’t buy any back in November because, boy, that would’ve been another clutter of boxes in my room.

My closet has been consistent with new gym wear… which explains where I’ve been lately… YES, sleeping. I’m joking! I’ve been at the StairMaster sweating my life away now that I’m member at a new gym… as if my first one wasn’t enough, but here I am going to different one. My closet actually consists of glam one pieces for nice dinner outings and brunches on a higher end compared to what I would normally purchase, like t’s and jeans. I’m happy about it though because that gives me more of reason to dine in.

I always think to myself, oh I’m ready for fall and then when it comes, I’m like oh crap, I have nothing to wear… I’m probably the only person who’s like that and frankly, the only reason I feel that way is because I never have anything warm enough to suffice throughout the winter time. Winter comes and I struggle to find rain boots or any of that matter, heavy-duty jackets that can survive the wind and drizzle blowing against my face. I’m always struggling to find those pieces but I know that my comfort means more to me than the style once it starts pouring.

I feel like I’ve been sleeping all year and my birthday is almost here…

All your brands but for a cheaper price and they always have amazing deals for their sales section. Since I’m on a shorter scale, I was so hesitant on wearing them at first because I felt weird wearing slippers. I see these tall, slender girls wearing them and killing it every single time but after wearing them a couple of times with my shorts and blouses, they’ve been looking decent and easy.

And you know me! Easy and quick is something I live for! Overall, if you do see me in real life, this is definitely an outfit I normally gravitate towards. High waisted jeans to give me the illusion of longer legs also it hugs my waist better, tops that are either cropped or tucked in, and a necklace being the statement piece. I used to love wearing heels but as of lately, I haven’t felt the need to wear any but of course, once the sun starts dissipating from the sky, I will be throwing on those booties all day long!

On a lighter note, I haven’t been as stressed as I normally would be around this time of the year. Although I do still have spurts of inconsistencies dealing with financial issues, I’ve been pretty good. I think the fact that I’ve been going to the gym, my body has been worn out which makes me feel less inclined to do anything productive… so, I’ve been sleeping half the time. I haven’t been as proactive as I would like myself to be so I’ve been using school and work as an excuse to cut out time to lay around and be lazy. Nothing is wrong with it but this procrastination is killing me!

I’m back to 4 pillows now and thinking of getting white bed sheets. I’m also in the works of redecorating my room so there’s that. School hasn’t been crazy but re-learning math and word problems has me pulling out my hair. I haven’t sat in a room with a lecture since last year and you know when you haven’t been conditioning yourself to sit in class in a while, it’s hard to get back in it. I’m trying to maintain my patience with my goals but my spending habits hasn’t seen the light of day since last year too… meaning that I’ve overspent and my goals have been cut short. I’ve pushed back too much of my projects…

The interest of guys… off the list. I don’t think I’ll be able to feel any type of way towards anyone for a while. It’s been off the table since my breakup and even though I’ve been meeting tons of new people, there’s nothing really “special” or “different” sticking out of each individual that makes me scream, “you’re someone I want to put effort and time in.” It’s hard to get your feelings back up there when they’ve evaporated and won’t be coming in till another season or so. Besides, I’m not looking for anything right now except for some me time and bonding time with my close friends. I’ve noticed that I fell off with a lot of my girl friends since late of last year and I’m not complaining because we’re different people now and I don’t choose to be into that lifestyle anymore. I’ve met fashionists throughout but it’s not enough to peak my interest either… maybe I’ve given up on trying with people or maybe all I really want is to just close in.

While I’m on this topic, when you’re accepting people back into your life, don’t expect them to change even if they say they have because they haven’t. No one changes over night. Sure, they’ve tweaked or altered some things around but old habits don’t die that easily. I’ve noticed some patterns with some people lately and I don’t think I can take it any longer so I’ve decided that I will be cutting them off for good.

In the end, if you’re tired of people giving you shit and excuses, don’t take them. You lose yourself for accepting those who bullshit you. You’re also lowering your standards. If they can’t even meet you half way, they don’t deserve to be in your life.*

Aside from sleep, I’ve been hanging out and attending events with friends that I haven’t seen in months since summer began so to close it off with seeing them again, well, you know what that means… comfort. I’ve cut back on showing my life and decided that I needed a break for a bit therefore I’ve lagged on my posts and any stories showcasing my day-to-day activities.

Its the same kind of feels of HEYYY this new boygroup needs to have more attention ya know what i mean??” Response: If you guys want your favorite writers on the blog just suggest them to us! Well check them out and probably add them to the masterlists! (Admin Kook) ❓”I'm just slightly confused about Wangfairy's situation. Because it says she is inactive, but she still answers asks and stuff, so I'm confuzzled.” Response: Wangfairy (Now Hopefairy) is inactive as a writer, hence why her stories are placed under inactive in the masterlist! Hopefairy is active on the blog still as a masterlist updater alongside Smuttyfairy. Reponse #2: Newer tags will have the type of AU and what keywords were asked about for a particular fic. To look at these tags specifically you can search manually by smuttyfairy.tumblr.com/tagged/vampire!au and/or smuttyfairy.tumblr.com/tagged/vampire!bts and etc (Admin Sf)

  ❓“Drama among haters and admins” Response: There will be drama wherever you go, we can’t exactly turn off the drama or tell people not to send in hate. We listen and if it’s a legit reason to be upset we try our best to rectify. Most drama on the blog lasts an hour or two anyways so. Improvements, in my opinion, maybe maintaining links and checking ever so often if they are still active or not. I know this happens in the EXO section a lot”

Response: Most of these can be explained in our FAQs page but I’ll reiterate again here. Updating fic recs are A LOT of work. With just me and Admin Hopefairy it’s really difficult to work on updating links and compiling them as we do have our own lives outside of the blog to worry about as well. Compiling links from 1-2 blogs usually takes about 15-30m depending how much work there is and organizing and formatting the fics takes even longer usually 30m-an hour. We really try our best to work hard on this so we’re sorry it takes us so long to do them, but eventually it gets done. (Admin SF)

❗️ ”XIUFAIRY CAN STOP KILLING US WITH SAD ENDINGS” Response: I wouldn't say my endings are...sad...okay that's a lie but there's a reason they're sad :p I'm a realistic writer and not a lot of writers take a realistic edge (in many fanfics). I personally don't like fics that are happy from day one to the end because that's just...not how life is I guess. I tend to make real things happen at the worst times because that's really where they happen!! Most of my stories have moral lessons and/or lessons on what life can do to a person both singularly and in a relationship. (Admin Xiufairy) ❗️ “Make a schedule? Each day of the week for special themes. E.g. hoe night at Friday night, fics ask on Tuesdays, fics updates everyday lol” Response: This is a good idea! The problem with that is we all have different schedules. I may be available one friday, but the next friday I couldn’t be. We do ask that you guys bear with us and be patient with things like fic asks, updates or hoe nights. Whenever I see hate towards another anon in the inbox I instantly delete it, but sometimes as humans, it’s hard. We all get hurt and we want to lash out. I wouldn’t feel comfortable saying that we should delete all hate. Some hate does need to be addressed, as it’s a concern, but just worded ignorantly. I will say that we delete most hate, but if we feel compelled to answer it, we will. ❗️  ”Maybe do more groups instead of bts” Response: Well for the most part all of the admins don't write for only bts. Xiu has exo, got7, and blackpink scenarios. Jae/Gil have written a Jay park scenario and Jae’s even working on a svt fic. All the admins are multifandom but sometimes we get ideas and it's like “hey I can see this fic working with a bts member instead of another group member” you get me? We're working on providing more multifandom content as we speak so please be patient with us. (Admin Gil)
