going to try a new writing technique / strategy tonight i think. being very mysterious here but i will report how it goes <3
#i am challenging myself to finish a 1-2k piece by mello's birthday#i've been having a lot of trouble recently with sufficiently defining direction and limiting scope#which is making it difficult to finish things. because they end up feeling incohesive / incoherent and too-long#because i start out trying to write one thing and then end up writing another#so i am trying to more aggressively structure the feeling & goals & length of this piece ahead of time#going to take notes and have a Real Outline and then write my first draft in a way i maybe wouldn't usually#<- that's the part i'm being mysterious about
