The cover I made for my webcomic Acchan is definetely a big favourite right now.

Then there's this piece I made for artfight last year which I'm reeeeally happy with. The colours, the lineless style etc. I like it so much I made it into the cover of one of my sketchbooks.

This profile picture I made for myself in 2021. I've been wanting to make a new one but I do sincerely like everything I've done here color and style wise. It was also my tentative stepping into textures so it was definetely something for me at the time!

This drawing I made of my oc Malu. It could definetely use some improvement nowadays BUT I still think this is one of my best composition layouts and framing overall. Also She is very cute.

I cant make my mind about the last one so I'll just add this tiny Acchan as a symbol of whatever is to come that I might create.

Yes! Not watch shows usually but I have watches some of those like. 8 hours victorious videos or whatever so it might as well count as a show. HMMM. I think as of right now I'm very into sky forever blue, Mama's broken heart and villain by Stella Jang.

I've heard that the tracklist of this album was your idea.

I had around 10 versions, and chose the one that had the clearest flow and I also wanted the whole to have a story. The beginning is, I would say, straight... the first half goes as if it rushes, in the middle part there is a kind of drama, or it rather becomes complex... and after becoming complicated it disappears. The tracklist that Acchan had found was almost the same, so we decided to choose the one or the other.

About a story, we can imagine several versions, right ? And you effectively made around 10 patterns, so why the story took this turn ?

I simply didn't wish it to end by a happy end, I wanted a kind of surreal ending. Like if one is approaching little by little the truth. I had the image of the hero who understands everything in the end. And then, he slowly vanishes.

About this surreal ending, did you have that image before making this album ?

Not that concretely. In the beginning, while drinking, Acchan and I were saying that we wanted the album to have a dramatic structure. Yet, while making the songs, I wasn't thinking that much about the story, and it was when Acchan's lyrics were added and everything was achieved that I began to see the story.

Then it was by chance that you've searched a story in the tracklist.

At the very end, yes.

It seems the more you make albums the more Buck-Tick reinforce their total side. I'm wondering if you, Imai-kun, has a direction of making albums as conceptual ones.

I think it would become like that if before making the songs I had strong ideas... But in the end it doesn't go that far. I think our albums look always like conceptual ones. Since I don't want them to resemble "a compilation of little pieces". I think I want to create an universe in each album.

Your way of making songs was to combine in the end melodies that appeared separately in your mind, right ?

Yes.

But you said that for this time you proceeded in the order by making first the rhythm and beat.

I mostly determined first the rhythm patterns... like making the songs from their framework.

Where this change of mind comes from, for making the songs from their framework ?

There wasn't really a trigger... This was in relation with the songs' beat effects....... When the melody A changes into the melody B, I wanted the scene not to change completely, but to have an impression of continuity.

Does this mean that apart from your play, you are beginning to look at the songs in their globality ?

Actually, once we began the recording, the more the sounds were recorded, the more I wanted to see the whole aspect of the album. When I was making the demo tape, I was concentrated on each song, and was also thinking about the play of the others parts.

How do you think this way of making songs, which is diametrically opposed to the one at your debut, is linked to the result of this album ?

It happens that it became easier to do the arrangements. I could think at the same time about the arrangements and the melodies.

From the stage of the demo-tape ?

Yes. Before, I was first finding the melodies and was adding chord progression on them... and did the arrangements at the end, so somewhere it didn't harmonise well... And there were songs that seemed similar.

From the point of view of the arrangements, I've noticed that your approach to the noise is greatly changing.

Yes, that's right.

For example in "Aku no hana", you were considering noise as noise, but in this album I had the impression that you used noise as SE.

This time I wanted to combine the band sound and something electric. Among that there was of course noise... And I thought that what would be in charge of this would be my guitar... I wanted sounds that won't let feel guitar...

Sounds that won't let feel guitar ?

Yes. Using effects, I wanted more... an approach near of the one of keyboards.

Was it a proposition done to all the members ?

No, that was personal. While making songs I had this idea... Of course, for the drums and the bass I wanted band sound, without using digital recording... We were all thinking about "live sounds". Then I thought it could be interesting if we added guitar sounds of the techno family.

A kind of combination between something in which blood circulates and something which doesn't have blood...

In a way it's that kind of impression. Moreover, I wanted arrangemens that would be more precise, that would fit together.

Arrangement that fit together ?

In guitar bands it often occurs that there are here and there rough stuffs, something imprecise... I wanted to avoid doing something that hasn't precise divisions. How to say... I wanted the divisions of such bar and such other one to be precise. And I didn't want hard rock like sounds that let guess the framework, but sounds that would be thinner.

A moment ago you talked about "live sounds", and it seems that it would be quite difficult to reproduce effectively the nuances of this album in lives.

Well... it won't be exactly like in the album, since we also used a sequencer (for the recording). I think that in lives I'll use as much as possible a guitar synthesiser to compensate that.

It's true that from your first album the synthesiser was introduced, but until now you could reproduce the world of your songs in lives, right ?

Until now, I 've been quite putting limits to guitar dubbing and keyboards, thinking about the lives, and this time I didn't that much think about it. Since I thought that if I was considering that during the recording, I could twist the quality of the album... so, I made it excluding the lives from my head.

This was your very first attempt ?

Yes.

Since when does this change of mind date ?

Since I've begun to make this album.

Do you think that you'll go on in that direction ?

....................... Probably......

Does this mean that you've found a different type of pleasure in making an album and playing in lives ?

Yes. This time I've greatly felt the pleasure of making an album. Even if I was exhausted (laughs). Like if I could finally make actively an album... I've greatly felt the sensation of "making an album".

I think that the fact to be "positive" that way is to enjoy the process of trial and error.

I had images about the tones and phrases... and since it was the first time that I did this approach of electric guitar, first of all I had to try it... And since once in the studio I was working from the beginning for approaching these images... it took me a very long time (laughs). Because I wanted to change the tones for each fragment... or rather each phrase.

Hence this need of a huge number of guitars and effecters (laughs).

Yes (laughs).

By the way, you can construct the image you have only with the tones and phrases that you already know, right ? Then, how do you link that with the new tones that you have discovered ?

This is completely with the impression that the songs give. There is also the "positioning" : I consult the engineer and we discuss about where to put such sound and how to make it sound. We wanted that while listening to the songs with a headphone, the sounds would fly around people's head... In this meaning, this album is the most studied one.

The sound positioning seems actually complex (laughs). Do you have the sensation to have cut on the CD the world that you have in your head as it is ?

Yes, I wanted sounds that are in relief... or rather visual. I originally had as a theme a psychedelic impression of relief.

For example, when it's recorded with a 4ch like Van Halen, I think this kind of positioning is originally agreeable for people's physiology. In the contrary, it seems that you address people's feeling of physiological reject, right ? The fact that you think about the importance of the noise goes the same way.

It's true. I've been having in me for a quite long time sounds that give a disagreeable sensation. And it's recently that I could show that in the forefront.

You were using a dummy head (mike that has the forms of a human head).

Only for the vocal recording... in "Angel Fish" and "MAD". I put on the dummy head a newspaper and crumpled it (laughs).

You have recorded that this way ?

Yes, the phrases of the newspaper. (laughs) I wanted before all to record something with that mike (laughs).

And about this problem song (laughs) : "Brain, Whisper, Head, Hate is noise". I still can't feel your intention to construct it as "lyrics". (laughs)

Yeah (laughs).

After reading it several times, I still can't understand (laughs). As an image, I would say it's about "antagonism and fusion" between the analogue and the digital...

So I know this has been sitting in my inbox for ages and I apologize for that! I simply didn’t expect to get Kanata for this and I had noo ideas what to write (also forgot it all the time...) ^^’ But better late than never I guess! xD

Kanata Shinonome from AKB0048

First impression: I didn’t really like her all that much tbh... Well I hated Chieri from the moment we first got to know her and I can write you an entyre paragraph about my reasons why. But with Kanata I really don’t know... I think it was... we just didn’t know that much about her? Okay she was from the cursed generation but the way she behaved around Sonata was kinda odd to me... and I really can not describe it somehow... :/ (it’s been a really long time, too)

Impression now: I love her! She’s this super strong person who worked so hard to acomplish her dreams! She's my favorite character out of all of them (ahem I have a cosplay of her outfit from the second season soo~ ^^) She had to deal with a lot during her past but was able to walk forward and keep holding onto her dream of wanting to bring entertainment and music to everyone!

Favorite moment: hmm this is a tricky one... I think I really liked her reactions when Sensei-Sensei elected her as the fitting succesor for the name of Takamina even tho the current Takamina was still around (oh boy the whole name thing really is confusing). Kanata was really happy and honored especially when she got the chance to take Takaminas part in the show they were about to do when Takamina was injured but she never became vain or too full of herself. She still wanted Takamina to thrive and shine and I think it tells you a lot about her character! :)

Idea for a story: So I ship Kanata and Takamina... like a lot... so I think everything I could ever potentially write would include them getting together. :P But other than that I always wanted to write something about how they rebuild their planet (gosh I forgot all the names... it's been so long) and how all the other girls from No Name would cope with having Acchans succesor as well as a Center Nova on their team. I think it could cause a lot of fights between them when Nagisa and Chieri eventually start having shows with the other succesors and No Name are left out of the loop again. Because everyone fought just as much as those, too, and it would definitely take some time but they'd eventually come around and support them again. I think Kanata would hold a bit of a big speech for everyone and it would make the others think a lot about their position and the position Kanata has ben dealing with. How she’ll never be able to become a succesor unless Takamina is out of the picture or she takes over a different name. It would also be interesting to study the real 48 girls and search for people that would fit the other No Name girls so they can finally become succesors at some point aswell! :D

Unpopular opinion: I hate Chieri! And idk from my experience there are kinda more people that like her than there are that like Kanata? So I guess my unpopular opinion is me liking her? xD I’m not really into the fandom (don’t even know if there even is a fandom anymore..) Btw as a side note: I can't decide on wether or not I actually like Yuko ^^'

Favorite relationship: Already said it but KanaMina (Kanata x Takamina)! <3 I mean look at those two! 😍

Favorite headcanon: So I'm really undecided on wether or not I want Kanata to become Takaminas succesor... I think it would be really cool because she just fits so well for that position... but on the other hand it would mean the current Takamina would have to be out of the picture... But due to some of those fishy screencaps we talked about a lot in the past I kinda headcanon Chieri to... well kinda die or be "Center Nova-fied" and disappear and Takamina becomes the next Center Nova? Even tho I think logically Yuko should be the next in line? Anyway Takamina would become Center Nova but keep her name (in contrast to how Chieri randomly became Center Nova instead of being a succesor first??) and evntually reunite with Acchan (and maybe Yuko, too, if she was Center Nova before) and clear her place for Kanata to take over. It would be heart breaking for everyone but that's just kinda how I see things playing out.

it's been really interesting to see how each screening has a different flavor depending on the show and the guests. for example, the first two shows were very much influenced by the interaction between the audience and the screened content, while the first act of this event was not so much a screening of "karasuno, fukkatsu!" as it was a live-action show of "kondou shouri, fukkatsu!" like. oh my god. I THOUGHT KENTA WAS BAD ABOUT REENACTING CHOREO at least he stayed seated half the time, shouri was straight up diving and rolling across the stage for every single one of nekoma's matches plus some of his white coat scenes as well. because if you put him in front of an audience this is just what happens.

BUT I DIGRESS. let us begin at the beginning.

first let me apologize for the fact that the first act will be light on shou and acchan because i was way up front, meaning i could only watch one half of the stage at a time, and it was real hard to watch anything other than The Kondou Shouri Hour. but more about them in the second act and aftertalk!!! ...also, i'm not gonna lie, i did not absorb a lot of the first five minutes or so because i was like, entranced by naoki's face. good lord that man has cheekbones. ANYWAY.

shouri: tbh this is the first time i've had a script to MC an event… honestly, who needs it. (tosses the clipboard over his shoulder)

he also mentioned he was at the screening the night before to figure out how this whole cheering thing worked, WHICH WOULD EXPLAIN THE PART WHERE RYOUTAROU AND JUSTIN WERE CLEARLY LAUGHING AT SOMEONE IN THE WINGS fldajfkldjf i thought at the time it was juudai and sonde, or maybe that kenta was there again (…i mean, he was, lol), but i bet it was shouri.

so then it was time for cheering practice. nice kill, nice receive, jump serve… shouri: oh and then when someone gets a point, cheer for them. you know like, I-I ZO, KU-RO-O, O-TO-KO-MA-E (roughly "NICE, KUROO, YOU'RE THE MAN") naoki: LOL WASN'T THAT YOUR CHEER IN HIGH SCHOOL shouri: yes :D shouri: ii zo, shouri, otokomae!! naoki: oh my god shouri: …let's do it now :D naoki: WE REALLY DON'T HAVE TO shouri: (already backing up for a run up) naoki: ok. cheer for kuroo, ok. shouri: no, for shouri :D naoki: ……………. shouri: (runs up and does a massive jump spike) audience: I-I ZO, SHO-U-RI, O-TO-KO-MA-E!! sound tech: (WHISTLE BLOWS)

to explain the whistle thing – so each night when the cast got too far off track or were going too long, a ref's whistle would sound. the previous two nights, it happened once or twice. how many times did shouri get whistled off? A LOT.

of course we practiced the datekou cheers as well! shouri: datekou, please show them how to do it acchan: but i mean, in the actual show, nekoma-san did this part, right shouri: right!! we did!! in the white coats acchan: so we'd like to leave it to you now ok thank you :) shouri: ...wait

(in the end they both did it.)

they then cued up the next screen… which was the entire datekou vs karasuno rap. XD shou: look. the rap is long and complicated, it's tiring, i'm sure it would be tough to do the whole thing. but even if you can't. everyone just please be sure to do sakunami's line. "funk it block." naoki: and yamaguchi's. shoubu no wakareMEEEE.

then shouri started explaining the special cheers/moves he thought up that he wanted us to do flfjaf;djkfdf. when nekoma sway back back and forth to their theme he wanted us to wave our thundersticks in time. "I THOUGHT THIS UP A MONTH AGO," he said proudly. "I WAS REALLY EXCITED FOR THIS EVENT!!!"

shouri: and here's another one i thought up a month ago shouri: in the manga there's a cheer that goes ike ike nekoma, right. so this is what i want us to do -- shouri: ike ike nekoma, nyan nyanya nyanyanyan! (waves cat paws) sound tech: (WHISTLE)

as before we ended by chanting ose ose nekoma / go go datekou except this time after about two seconds shouri and shou were like, yelling out at the top of their lungs running around the stage while naoki maded increasingly desperate whistling motions toward the sound booth. shouri: let's do it again! naoki: ISN'T THIS ENOUGH shouri: IM THE MC I MAKE THE RULES naoki: kansai people are terrifying. shouri: (super thick kansaiben) I'LL DO ANYTHING FOR A LAUGH

(and that, incidentally, is the difference between what shouri and kenta were doing w/r/t choreo -- you get the impression that this is probably how kenta watches these shows at home whereas put shouri in front of an audience, even if that audience is two people, and he can't help but perform. his and takato's consistently over the top ad libs suddenly make so much sense…)

all this, and the actual screening hadn't even started. deep breaths.

tonight the audience started calling out "furudate haruichi!" "worry-san!" "nakayashiki-kun!" when their names appeared on screen just like they were some of the players, it was cute. XD also even though kiyoko wasn't yet physically present, every time she "appeared" off stage the audience swooned "KIYOKO-SAAAAN".

so for the opening, of course they came out and did their own parts (props to acchan and shou for how well synced they were with the screen, their timing was super impressive) but then they all took turns doing not just a little bit of the rest but EVERYONE else's. iirc shouri was oikawa, naoki was iwa-chan, shouri was daichi, naoki was suga, shou was asahi, acchan was tanaka and ennoshita (the timing broke down a little bit here XD), naoki was takechan, shouri was ukai, naoki was kageyama, and shouri was hinata.

it was funny because like, when they first start doing other characters naoki was like, laughing at himself, still a little self-conscious but by the time he ran out to do kageyama's jump he was super into it and getting huge amounts of air lol. that was sort of the pattern of the night, naoki was clearly enjoying himself and excited in a normal person way but then kept getting dragged into increasingly weird shit by shouri and by the end would be like FINE LET'S GO LET'S DO IT.

as previously mentioned this resulted in them reenacting the vast majority of nekoma's choreo in full, in the center of the stage. flips and rolls and dives and all. shouri also kept forgetting this was not, like, a concert or something and would literally be bouncing up and down waving his thundersticks when he wasn't actively dancing. but then he got all embarrassed during kuroo's "that sparkling stage…!" speech and walked off stage... but BARELY, he was hovering so close in the wings that i could still see him ahaha. the closest he could physically force himself to actually leaving the spotlight. XD in contrast, naoki was so embarrassed during his first couple lines/closeup that he tied his nekoma towel around his face, walked off stage, and didn't come back for a full minute. hee.

shouri also made naoki leave the stage with him so that they could walk back on for nekoma's pre-match entrance, this time with shouri wearing his jacket specifically so he could reenact the dramatic toss and catch, which he then intentionally dropped a la the DVD blooper roll, as naoki took hinata's role of pointing at it in shock.

naoki was also apparently the "voice" of kiyoko behind the "tobe!" flag, shouri was very excited to make sure we knew that. OH for the first scene between kuroo and kenma, SHOU came out as kenma with shouri trailing after him measuring the height difference between the two of them and making exaggerated confused faces. and after nekoma waved goodbye and left the stage after the practice match was over, naoki also waved goodbye and walked off but shouri was so caught up in watching that he didn't notice naoki was gone for at least a minute and then did a huge doubletake at the empty chair. XD

last but not least, for the kurotsukki fans out there, i know you're reading this, during the practice montage at the end of act 1 shouri acted out tsukki's bit standing there tossing a volleyball with one hand like :|, and his attempt at a bored tsukki expression was hilarious, shouri's face just doesn't do that naturally. XD

so while the first act was like a show on stage we were watching, the second act was, of all the screenings so far, the most like an actual proper call-and-response cheering event. first was the tokonami match, of course, and honestly the biggest compliment to how well and effectively this match was staged is that there was zero snark – instead, i heard several people sniffling -- and the applause after ikejiri walked off stage went on for a long, long time.

but then the datekou match had so much for the audience to do! there was a LOT of cheering and chanting to take part in, and of course acchan and shou acted out big scenes like aone and futakuchi's "lock ON", the big blocks, "TEPPEKI DA" etc. by the end acchan was just on his feet making frustrated faces when he got blocked out ahaha. but this is the part that felt closest to actually being part of the student cheering squad at a volleyball game… if part of the cheers were a rap.

(at some point shouri and naoki came back on stage as well, and to be fair to them, for a split second when they came out again i was like OH NO LET THE DATEKOU KIDS HAVE THEIR CHANCE TO SHINE but while shouri did get very into reenacting their choreo he stayed off to the side and didn't distract from the main characters. thanks kondou-kun. XD

daichi: like [iwaizumi] said, datekou are really strong acchan: ^__^ (nod) suga: three months ago their iron wall totally destroyed us acchan: ^____^ (nodnod) suga: to be honest, we still haven't wiped out the fear from that time acchan: ^________^ (nodnodnod)

my favorite part about datekou, though, was at the end, when we got our first real emotional casualties of summer week. so first, aone's handshake with hinata also got a really, really long ovation, and shou started to look super emotional. then the datekou third years' retirement scene happened. because i know kimura atsushi, i was locked on (heh) to him from the moment it began, and was therefore able to watch in real time as his mouth slowly turned down and his face crumpled and his eyes glinted with tears. then when moniwa started talking about how next year's iron wall would be even stronger, he suddenly stood up and just nodded emphatically at every line but couldn't even smile. acchan i love u.

another sweet thing was that during that scene, the final "we played… we played volleyball!" scene with the losers, shou just took a long, slow look around the audience with this really gentle expression and later in the aftertalk he said he could see people crying and that he was really touched and grateful.

so, speaking of the aftertalk!

shouri and naoki also talked about aiia closing and how it felt kind of destined that it was where they had both their haikyuu debut and now their last haikyuu event. naoki: appearing as members of the cheering squad. shouri: as the ensemble cast. naoki: shouri, you were definitely the loudest person here. shouri: because i'm the MC!

they dragged-slash-complimented shou for his scary aone face. "yeah, i'm kind of scared by myself when i see the recording tbh because it's not like i could SEE myself when i was made up on stage." acchan: but off stage he's really nice!! naoki: yeah, you always gave off this kind of sweet idiotic air in the dressing room. shou: …actually… something like that happened today…

and then he explained how during the scene when aone is blocked out by hinata and lands with a thump back on stage, he reenacted it today… and when he landed in a crouch, his pants tore. XDD CUE EVERYONE DUCKING BEHIND HIM AND LIFTING UP THE SHIRT TIED AROUND HIS WAIST TO CHECK OUT THE TEAR AND FALL AROUND LAUGHING like literally naoki was lying on the stage paralyzed with laughter. shouri kindly demonstrated to us exactly where and how large the tear was, thanks shouri. "lucky i wore a shirt around my waist today!" shou said.

acchan also explained how he and shou did different variations on the "lock ON" on asahi, so of course shouri made them demonstrate – and they did one in which futakuchi tries to push aone's arm down, it pops back up, and futakuchi then walks his fingers cutesily up aone's arm as he says "yamenasai!"

then naoki told us about how during the scene when hinata spikes with his eyes open, one day takeru came up to him and said super seriously, "what's the deal with hinata closing his eyes? don't you normally spike with your eyes open?" naoki explained there was a line about how he hits with his eyes closed earlier, to which takeru replied, "i didn't hear anything about that, idk what you're talking about" and that was when naoki realized he was speaking as yaku. "i get staying in character but he WENT OUT OF HIS WAY TO ASK ME ABOUT IT."

speaking of, shouri also said that the show was just around the time the volume with the nekoma third years' backstory came out so that if you watch the full stage recording you'll see kuroo and yaku squabbling and kai trying to break them up in the background and such.

then, another takeru story, for one particular scene when the nekoma cast was holding up the iron wall it was always incredibly hot, because they'd already worked themselves into a sweat during their actual match as nekoma, then they'd have to put on these long white coats, so it was unbearable… and then on top of that, takeru would come over and like. squish up next to him. and it would be even MORE hot. so naoki would be like, "pssst get away from me" and takeru would just sit crouch there dead still staring straight ahead. "i got SO MAD AT HIM."

so that’s why today takeru was tweeting "…what did shouri and naoki say about me." XD

finally, their final messages! that's when shou said the bit i mentioned earlier about how moving it was to see the fans' reaction, and added "I'M DEFINITELY COMING BACK i mean i don't know if that's actually possible BUT I DEFINITELY WELL." acchan fell all over his own words and then was like I CAN'T PUT HOW GRATEFUL I AM INTO WORDS i love haikyuu bye. naoki said how how grateful he is that his first and last experiences at aiia were both, specifically, "karasuno, fukkatsu." and shouri just talked about how WOW HAIKYUU'S AMAZING WORRY KINOSHITA IS AMAZING. (naoki: just pretend he's an alien or something, ok guys?) and then, also, that he owes his career to the show basically and is super grateful and proud to have been involved.

OH, AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST -- the sound tech got the last laugh on shouri. they thanked us for coming and bowed... and then the credits music didn't start like it did for everyone else, they had to start singing it themselves – "da da DAH da da da DAH da da da DAH da da da dah" while shouri yelled at the sound booth "HEY, DON'T PUNISH ME" until the tech took pity on them and cued up the music. then shouri purposely "tripped" and fell going off stage, naoki held back shou and acchan from going back to help him, and they got whistled off one last time. XD

…the end. jesus that was a lot, how the hell are we going to get through shinka no natsu as led by shouri, we're all gonna die.

Commander returned to the stage after we shouted 「Jäger」again.

Commander: Thank you everyone. I underestimated everyone from the Ichihara branch. I didn’t expect you to start shouting 「Jäger」before the 321 countdown.

Commander: There were almost no MC during the main concert, we kept a very fast pace until the end. So we hope to conduct the encore in a relatively more relaxed manner~ (Audiences cheered) Before that, where are the P-seats until?

Commander: We frequently do interesting things for SH. For LH, this time I want to concentrate on doing music… not that I don’t concentrate on doing music for SH! No! Just that SH still need other things like acting skills and such! So this time I want to try something refreshing for LH.

Commander: There are various types of sounds in the songs. This time, even though I want to make it as simple and easy to understand as possible, there will always be a limit to that, I can’t concede further after lowering to a certain extend. Personally, I, too, hope you can hear the love I pour into making it yourself. Should I say it’s S-ish (TN:…sadistic), I also don’t want to underestimate you all too much. Perhaps that’s why the CD doesn’t sell much. A lot of adjustments are made now, for all the sound to be tweaked just right, hoping all the various sounds can be conveyed. But everyone has their preferences, some prefer it to be more like rock music, some prefer the sound of strings, so you may feel that there are some sounds you really want to listen to closely, but you just can’t hear it well. So this time we prepared this segment, remixing the songs chosen by the votes live. You make take this chance to clearly listen to parts of the songs that sounds unclear originally.

Commander: But one song is very long, so likely only half will be played. We will try it today, if everyone here reacts positively, then we will continue this segment. If all of you find it rather uninteresting, then this segment might be gone by the time we are in Tokyo. To prevent that from happening, I will do my best as well.

Commander: Then I will choose someone….. there in the second row! You with the glasses! In 《To You in Two Months》Which instrument do you most want to hear?

Then he started playing around with it. With this segment, lots of different versions will be born from this tour (It will be remixed in a new way as specified in every concert.)

Commander: Next up will be the encore everyone is waiting for. But actually, LH don’t really have that many songs…… How many years has it been? 5 years? I can’t even really remember. Simultaneously doing SH and LH and SH and LH and also going on the radio occasionally… There really isn’t many CDs despite it being five years. Perhaps it will be more substantial by its 10th year anniversary? But this is the only aspect I can’t improve on my own. Please offer me jobs –– (Slight bow)

Commander: Aside from LH, there were lots of songs written for the SH side. Even though this time, the LH tour is to lower the entry barrier, welcoming those who didn’t know us at all, there will still be some who came here from the SH side. For those familiar with SH, if you hear songs from SH, you may feel “Ah! I can’t believe I heard songs from SH today, I’m super lucky”. For those unfamiliar, after you listen to the songs, I hope you will feel that “Eh, the other songs from the Sunglasses-ojisan are also not bad”. So there will also be a few songs from SH this time.

Commander: After all, aside from the songs included in CDs, there are also some songs from SH that are currently not for sale.

Commander (stood aside and watched for a while): There will be member intro segment later~

Encore 1: Kimi ga Umarete kuru Sekai (The World You will be Born Into)

The sound of water could be heard the moment the prelude started, and the bubbles effect that were used during the 10th Anniversary concert (Can be seen in The Assorted Horizon) appeared on screen.

The singer who came on stage was Eiko Matsumoto. The one who sang 《14 Lettered Message》as Eren’s mother.

(It is??! Actually this person singing this song?!?! Wait that’s too unexpected?!? Reasonable?!?!)

Everyone screamed. (Then quickly quietened down)

All the narrations were done by Eiko Matsumoto herself, none of it was cut. Her singing was very steady. The narrations were also not bad. The actions were the same as the ones for the 10th anniversary included in TAH. It was very good.

After she finished the song, Commander came up again.

Commander: 《Kimi ga Umarete kuru Sekai》, the CD that included this song is no longer being sold.   (––Wait weren’t you just advertising to people! You were getting them interested, but then the first song that comes up is one they can no longer purchase!)

Commander: Ah, but since there’s already been effort put into rehearsing it, it will probably be performed again in the future.

Commander: The song just now was sang by Ms Matsumoto, it’s definitely suitable! Although the world view is different and the original song was not entirely from the perspective of a mother, this song is still very sad, and contains the emotion of a woman to her child. There are a lot of commonalities in terms of atmosphere.

Commander: There are still two more songs after this. We can’t keep singing SH songs since it’s a LH tour right. Although LH doesn’t have a lot songs, aside from Shingeki songs, there’s were also songs written for a game called Bravely Default, although we didn’t organize a tour for it then. It’s the first game in the Bravely series, and actually, the second game doesn’t include Sunglasses-ojisan anymore. Encore 2: Hinadori [Vocalized Version] (Fledgling)

As if psychic, I anticipated the song and singer before the song started! (V)

Sung by Misaki Fukunaga. (《Cold Coffin》，Annie)

She sang Edea’s song from BDFF. Regardless if it’s quality or texture of her voice, or the content of the lyrics, It’s! All! Very! Fitting!

There’s 「Black or White?」in the lyrics. Will it actually be 「Black」or「White」? It’s a song that’s very fitting for Annie’s POV. The actions are also the same as in RLBDC. Even the actions for the singer when bandmembers where showing off their skills were the same. The only difference was the set of actions towards the end, Fukunaga performed Annie’s fighting actions. It was super cool and super impressive.

After it’s over Commander came up. On his way up he was carrying the concert pamphlet against his chest, and he walked backwards onto the stage like that. \?????? wwwwww/ What is this inexplicably adorable creature.

Commander: The song that was just performed was from BDFF. It’s game music. It’s collected in an Elbum (Mispronounced)… No! AL! BUM! called 《Luxendarc Daikikou》.

Commander: It actually started with the original game music, then on the basis of the game sound track, we added Vocalization.

Commander: It was sang very well. This song is very high, not everyone can sing it. You can try to sing it, not everyone can sing such a high note on demand. Oh but actually, you have all sang it before? Like when you all were just born? The kind like “UAHUAHHH––”.

Commander: Let’s start from the singers. The first one, MANAMI

MANAMI came out flapping her wings… no, flapping her arm with tassels on the sleeves. Seeing this, commander started humming 《Swan Lake》: 「dun~ dundundundundun~ dundun~ dundun~ dundundundundundun~」 Upon hearing it MANAMI also switched to ballet steps as she came up. As MANAMI flaps her wings… arms, commander also started flapping his wings… no, arms with tassels on the sleeves.

Commander: We are the same~  So happy that we are so like-minded~ (Two of them flap flap flapping together)

Commander: MANAMI said her favourite character is Sasha. MANAMI: I really relate to how she can eat a lot. I participated in some sort of eating competition in the past, finishing 30 plates of sushi and 30 stick of skewered food to win 10 000 yen. And after I was done I felt like I still had the stomach for more. Commander: I think you can totally pursue this field. MANAMI: I used to play basketball, I could eat a lot more then than I do now! So when I see Sasha it’s like seeing a reflection of myself.

Commander: The second one is Tsukika. Commander: How many plates of sushi can Tsukika eat? Tsukika: ……30 plates are way too many. Commander: Tsukikia’s favorite character is Nanaba. Oh Nanaba. Her younger brother will be called 「Hachiba」.

\......Pffffttt (snickering)/

(…… The “nana” in Nanaba is homonymous with 7.. so “7ba”’s brother is “8ba”… such a cold joke. So cold!)

Commander (Seemingly well prepared to anticipate that nobody would find it funny, he started making the scissors hands gesture): Okay cut! Commander: Oh this (Snip snip) means that this part should be cut from the DVD.

Commander: But actually for today’s show, there might not be anyone recording it at all.

(We all believed him, because it’s the opening day, and there had never been videos generated from opening days in the past, so it’s very likely not recorded. In thE END! LIAR! Can’t believe there is the opening show digest video after that! WHO SAID THERE WEREN’T ANYONE RECORDING!)

Tsukika: From a female’s perspective, Nanaba is very handsome. Even though I can’t tell if they are male or female. They are just very handsome! Commander: That’s true, there’s a lot of character in Shingeki whose genders are ambiguous. Isayama-sensei mentioned before that it’s okay to perceive them as either male or female. Tsukikia: I think that Hanji is a guy. Commander: The important thing is the character’s spirit and their way of living. Gender doesn’t matter. Hanji is just Hanji!

Commander: Next is Mami Yanagi. Mami Yanagi: Hi everyone, it’s been a while. Commander: Mami Yanagi’s favorite is Mikasa. She also repeatedly emphasized her liking during the last tour (Referring to Jiyuu e no Shingeki Talk & Live in 2013). Mami Yanagi: I still love her now! (Completely in a fangirl state) Mami Yanagi: The last episode in the second season was so cruel to Mikasa. I want be wrapped by the scarf–– no, I wanted to wrap the scarf around her!! Commander: Her favourite is Carla. Matsumoto: Yes, I can’t help being drawn into the character. Because I also have a 10-year-old son. Commander: Yes, that’s the standard I used to choose singers. Matsumoto (Shocked): You must be lying?! Commander: I’m lying–– Matsumoto: Revo-san didn’t research me right?! Commander: No no. But if I have to pick a favourite, it is still Sasha.

Then it’s all the dancers.

Commander: Next is Ayu Hosoki. For Nein, she was the one displaying the bread in the bread shop (Striking the pose of holding the bread) Commander: Favourite is Mikasa Hosoki: Mm, I like the sound of her name.

Commander: Next is Yosuke Sato. Very handsome. For Nein, he was the 「Single nighhawk~」(A solo dance in《Shokumotsu》) Commander: His answer was 「Will answer after rereading」。Which part are you at now？ Sato: I’m now on the second book now. At this stage, the one I am most attached to should be Mikasa. She is very strong, pretty, but also pitiful. I want to protect her well.

Commander: Next is OBA. The Abnormal among the dancers. Commander: Favourite is Hanji. YUKI: It was completely coincidental at first, I can’t help paying attention because our hairstyles are similar. Then when I saw her drooling when she sees the Titans, I really relate to that. I really like things like temples and castles and such, and when I see them, I will be holding Chu-hi (A fizzy fruit alcohol under Kirin) in one hand while drooling. Commander (Imitating Hanji’s overexcited tone at seeing a Titan): 「WoOO~~~~~~WOAHH~~~~~THIS SHRINE IS TOO AMAZING~~~~~~~」Like this? YUKI: Yes yes.

Commander: After Hanji it’s Junji! Commander: He said he likes all the Titans. Junji: Yes, I like every one of them. Commander: Every one? There’s always that one special Titan right. Junji: It’s impossible to neglect the Abnormals, I want to follow them. But actually, compared to the gigantic Titans, the 2,3 meter ones feel the scariest. They are closer to humans. Commander: Is it because when you see the ones around 3 meters, you feel like you can defeat them if you just try a little harder. Junji: It’s impossible! Junji: All the Titans have that smile on their faces, it feels really creepy. Commander: But you like it. Junji: I like it.

Next is Atsushi Hasegawa.

Commander: Acchan’s favourite is Reiner. Acchan: Yes, he seems very brave. He feels sort of like an older brother. His personality is also very earnest, he only became like that (mental breakdown) because he is overtly sincere. Commander: That’s because Acchan is also a very earnest person. Acchan: I’m not that earnest?! Acchan: And the Armoured Titan is very cool. Like a robot. Commander: Yes, the Armoured Titan was exceptionally cool when it first appeared. It was like Woosh (Poses like when the Armoured Titan was going to start dashing)

Next is Gen Ittetsu.

Commander: Gen Ittetsu said his favourite is Mitsuru Hanagata (Not a character from Shingekyo, but one from 《Kyojin no Hoshi (Star of the Giants)》)

Then the two began a heated discussion revolving around Star of the Giants. I have never watched so I can’t keep up with their conversation, I had no idea what they were talking about. The two were engrossed in their own world for quite a while before returning.

Gen Ittetsu: I happened to be very busy during the tour pamphlet interview period. So, I just answered randomly. So that’s what I said.

Next its members from Gen Ittetsu Strings.

Commander: Aside from Gen Ittetsu, I still want to ask the members of the Strings. But there are a lot of people in the Strings, so I’ll ask one person for each concert. This time it will be –– Cameroon Maki. Commander: Maki’s answer was not published in the pamphlet. So we can only listen to it live! Maki: I have only watched 3 episodes of Shingeki so far. For now, rather than favourite, the character I am most attached to is Keith. I am attached to his role as a teacher. Commander: Such a shiny bald head. Maki: A very strict instructor, his words are very stern and severe. This makes him very endearing, I do have such a strict person around me.

As he said this he looked at Gen Ittetsu beside him. Gen Ittetsu looked around as though unaffected and he wasn’t talking about him.

Next is Takeshi Nishiyama

Commander: He likes Ymir. Aniki: The timeline for the original Shingekyo manga is quite confusing. I went and reread it for Shingeki no Kiseki, and I had a lot of new emotions when rereading it with the impression I got from the CD. Recently I feel like I’m getting old and my memories are deteriorating, I only realized Ymir’s story was already at the start of the fifth book when I went to reread it. Aniki: Being able to write such a song from such a short story, Revo-san is really amazing this way. Commander: There were a lot of characters in the original manga, among them some died soon after they debuted. Commander: Only Isayama-sensei knows the exact follow up for a lot of characters. There are a lot to look forward to. Commander: There are also some members who just started reading it. Perhaps by the end of the tour, everyone will become professors of Shingekyo.

The last one is Koji Ikarashi

Commander: Rashi’s favorite is Armin. Commander: This time, I will pick a musician for every concert to dedicate a performance to their favourite character. It will be Rashi today. Rashi: For Armin. Report of a trip to Japan, September 2016, Buck-Tick related parts

Conversations with Japanese fans, BT cafe, Climax Together 3rd. I know it’s very late. I just want to post something and practice my English. My memories could be wrong.

Osaka, Yousukou Ramen

That small restaurant The Mortal members have been to in 2015. It’s hidden deeply in the streets of Umeda, difficult to find even with the help of Google Map, it was smaller than I thought it to be, there were only about 10 seats, and I wouldn’t say it was very clean inside.

The Ramen was very delicious, I was satisfied with its taste, but one bowl was not enough to fill my stomach at 3pm. Due to nervousness, I didn’t say Acchan-chan’s name.

(On that morning, I had much trouble finding a store called Umeda Loft, then the next day I had much trouble finding the live house Umeda Club Quattro, I guess the Feng Shui of that place does not suit my birth time.)

Tokyo, a hotel

I talked to the staffs of the hotel I lived in. One 20 or 30-something staff knew BT, when another staff who looked around the same age as him asked “What’s that?”, he answered “Old Visual Kei”, then praised my taste in music, “very good, very good. It’s rare (to see girls like me coming to Japan for bands like BT, I guess that’s his meaning)”

Tower Records Kinshicho

The Tower Records famous for a whole shelf of BT stuffs. It’s one the 4th floor (or maybe 3th or 5th I don’t quite remember) of a shopping center which is not faraway from the JR line station. If you want to buy BT’s CDs in Tokyo, I suggest you either go there or Tower Records Shibuya.

At the shrine of Morioka Ken, the boards had not been as full as they were in Cayce’s photos.

Sadly I didn’t have enough money to buy everything, I already bought many records in Osaka and Kyoto, so I only bought Mona Lisa Overdrive, Sabbat, Minus(-)’s D and the only one Togawa Jun album there (in the J-pop section).

Tower Records Cafe in Harajuku

On September 10th, I went to the Tower Records Cafe. I know there would be many people since the next day we shall Climax Together, but I didn’t realize I had to wait for two hours out on the street, but thank for the line of ladies dressed in black I didn’t get lost, okay several gentlemen were there, too, there were 40+ year old ladies in Visual Kei style outfits, 30-something ladies with elegant make up, in normal clothes, there were also JKs younger than me and 30-year-old men who looked just like any Japanese salarymen.

I talked to the nice looking lady behind me. She asked about the official translation of Buck-Tick in Chinese, it’s “花火師”, which means “pyrotechnist, it made her laugh so hard, and no, we rarely use that name.

I introduced her to Tumblr. She laughed again when I searched “Buck-Tick” on Tumblr, photos came out were Acchan, Acchan, and Acchan, “Nothing but Acchan!” Then she introduced Tumblr to her friends on LINE as a place to find many beautiful Acchan pictures.

She started another topic: “Do your parents love Japanese music, too?”

“My mom is Sakamoto Ryuichi-san’s fan.”

“She likes YMO?”

“She hates YMO.”

“Oh, then does she like Buck-Tick?”

“Not really, the only BT songs she likes are Jupiter, Dress and Flame.”

“Anyway,” she said, “I’m glad BT’s songs are liked by Sakamoto-san’s fan.”

It seems Sakamoto Ryuichi and YMO are one rank higher in dignity than all those rock bands.

When I finally got into the Cafe, it’s long past lunch time, I was very hungry. Climax Together 1992 was played on the screen, I felt very difficult to eat my pasta which was not spicy at all despite what was written on their websites while the man I love was singing about despair, pain, madness and desire to die.

Later, friends reported that they waited for 4 whole hours outside the cafe on September 12th, so I’m the lucky one!

Bar Teranga in Ebisu

It’s the bar Imai mentioned in his blog, owned by his wife’s sister Akane, who is also an indie musician. It’s hidden in the streets of Ebisu, on the third floor of a building, with only one tiny signboard outside.

I went there for the evil purpose of examining whether she looked as cute as she was in photos, or it’s photoshop’s doing (I’m not evil enough to think about meeting or stalking BT members, I swear), but I didn’t see her, that night only the male staff Takizawa Ryo was there, he is an indie musician, in 2012, some fans got extremely angry (I’m not sure why) after they found that the BT charity bags were sold at his concerts...but it has already passed, Imai has explained in his blog, Cayce has posted on her blog, so I’ll stop here.

The bar was small, gothic style, there was a wall full of Jrockers’ signatures, including all members of BT, Aki from Sid, Motokatsu, someone from D’erlanger, someone from Merry, Sakurai Ao maybe, and so on, I said “someone” and “maybe” because I couldn’t decipher their signatures which were all so artistically written. Only Shirosaki Jin, the big fanboy and former NO.1 host wrote readable kanjis. I heard there was also one written by Die, of dir en grey, but failed to find it. Aside from signatures, they also used Jrock magazines and BT tour goods as decoration, you can find BT stuffs even in the toilet. The Sakurai Drops box is surprisingly small.

There were three customers when I entered the door, all about 40 years old, two ladies, one gentlemen. I sat down, ordered curry rice and beer in English, the two ladies said “Oh, foreigner?” Then, one of them said:

“But why this bar... Bakuchiku fan?”

“...Yes.” I answered.

They gave me a very warm welcome by screaming and shouting.

“Do you speak Japanese?”

“Only a little.”

“Yokohama Arena?” She tried to speak very slow.

“Yes, but my seat is terrible.”

“Whoo, you come to Japan for a concert!”

“Uh...I came for sightseeing.”

“But your main purpose is the concert, isn’t it?”

And yes.

We talked about BT, Visual Kei and Jpop. “It’s amazing that Japanese music has influence on other countries’ people.” they said. Later, they began talking about baseball, Johnny’s idol groups, and the coming Visual Japan Summit (finally I remember that name).

The curry rice was nice. One of the ladies drank so much High-ball but her face didn’t change a bit, I envy people like her.

I left before all three of them, “Good night! See you tomorrow in Yokohama.” The Japanese fans said.

(Small information:

There is a bar in Minatoku, Tokyo, owned by NAO (BY-SEXUAL) and BT’s former manager Kojima, the name is “Azabu Kyuuban”, or “Azabu NO.9” in English. Many Jrockers had been there, including members of BT, Glay, Plastic Tree, Golden Bomber, Kishidan, Nocturnal Bloodlust and so on. Some BT fans love to go there after the Budoukan show, so if you want to go there that day, too, remember to pre-order.)

Yokohama Arena

There are big “横浜アリーナ” and “Yokohama Arena” words written above an exit of the station, you can follow the ladies in black as well.

I arrived at Yokohama Arena at about 12:30 pm, there was a long, long goods line in the rain, even there were many staffs selling the goods and they were quick, I think I still waited for more than 1.5 hours outside, and when I finally got into the venue, I found there were still many people waiting in front of me. Aku no Hana 2015 remix was played, when Kiss Me Good-bye was over, National Media Boys came, so they must played it for more than once, friends who came later than me reported they heard another album there. I heard almost one Aku no Hana inside the venue, than my turn of buying goods finally came.

It was reported by Japanese fans if you came at 3 pm, you did not need to wait, so I guess at concerts if you don’t want the most popular goods such as Sakurai Drops or Acchan eye masks, it will be better if you don’t come very early.

After buying the goods, same with many fans, I walked to a nearby shopping center, spent two hours there. One oddity was that, when I went to the toilet in the shopping center, everyone waited there was BT fans, I can tell they were fans because all of them wore either BT T-shirts, or typical bangya clothes such as black lace dress and black high heel boots, one of them wore a Mr. Matsumoto guitar print scarf, that famous one with red hearts.

Then back to the venue, people had already lined up for entering. Passersby looked at us curiously.

Since everyone has already watched the WOWOW video, I’d better not say too much about the concert itself, so just a few things:

1. Chandeliers were beautiful.

2. Beside me was a middle aged man, he cried during Jupiter.

3. People clapped their hands during the intro of Dokudanjo, it’s a bit hard to learn.

4. I didn’t realize Imai played Passing Mountain then, feel ashamed.

5. Imai’s guitar was so loud (noisy) that I could barely hear Acchan talking, and it was because Imai’s guitar, not my poor Japanese, Japanese fans have reported same problem.

6. I think you already know that, but the spoken words in Dress are “早く、行かなくちゃ” (I have to go, now).

7. Acchan said: “It must be difficult to see from there, I’m sorry”, then turned the stage light to the stage side and 2nd floor seats, fans who were lit up all waved their hands, screamed in happiness to him. He is a very gentle person indeed.

This year I plan to visit Japan again.

I will go to Fujioka, Gunma to see Imai Shouten. But before that I need to learn more Japanese.

  It’s been quite a week! Things are fine for me but that seems selfish considering everything that is going on right now. These are some tough times and I hope you’re all doing o.k.  If you can find some sympathy and understanding in yourself for those around you, we need it now more than ever. I understand it’s trying.   Trying to find words to say what you’re saying. I’m glad some other ani-bloggers have posted guides of how to contribute, help, or be generally supportive. I was really proud of my daughter the other day — she’s a teacher, and she posted a guide from some educators. 

Well, it won’t help by not doing our thing here, so here we go!

Oh, I’m in plain text and there will be spoilers. Whew! That was close… That last bit will make more sense a little later.

Let’s talk about My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom! We are at episode 10, and it seems like we’ve rejoined the main storyline. The episode starts off with the teaser from last week. Essentially it’s the doom scenario from the game or Catarina’s trial. Sadly, Catarina did not get the chance to save herself and instead everyone else came to her rescue… by calling her too stupid to be evil? For awhile I thought that was a dream sequence. Everyone was kinda mean…

Turns out it wasn’t, and all of Catarina’s friends really do consider her an idiot. Yet she’s the most highly desirable one. My friends were right, studying really is a waste of time! (It’s not, it’s great and useful!)

I think Alan was probably the most blunt when he said, “She’s so dumb, all she could do would be to fight her head-on!” But Mary wasn’t far behind — calling Catarina “simple-minded” did seem a bit harsh. Come to think of it, Keith’s “My simple-minded sister isn’t even capable of such elaborate harassment” might have been the worst. 

Sure, we joke about Bakarina, but I kinda feel like they went too far. 

Geraldo quite a bit less, I noticed! And he still stood up for her. Good for him! He’s completely turned around my opinion of him.

Geordo did pull some extra effort though and found out that the event was magical in nature and the girls involved had no memory of it. He went on to describe dark magic, it’s powers and origins. Is it just me or does the way that Geordo was describing how dark magic can make people do things they wouldn’t have thought of otherwise and how it gets into their heads, a little reminiscent of exactly the type of influence a player would have on game characters. It’s not what they are going for, at least not on a text level, but I did find the parallel rather interesting.

Dark magic does sound like an unfathomable external influence, doesn’t it? Now I almost feel guilty playing video games — like I’m taking away some poor character’s free will! Or what if it’s like Log Horizon, where the NPCs are actually sentient! I’m getting off track again…

Geordo also mentioned that dark magic manipulates “negative” emotions like jealousy, doubt and fear. This is a very tired trope in my opinion. Good things can come from these emotions. Jealousy is very bound to ambition and doubt and fear are there to protect us. It’s all about how you use these emotions, you know?

But it turns out that Catarina is too simple to have any of these so that’s why she wasn’t affected. I’m beginning to wonder if the show is being super mean to Catarina on purpose or is it fridge insults.

I really couldn’t tell if Catarina not having negative emotions was a slam or not. Remembering Geraldo was nicer to her than the others during the earlier confrontation, I almost felt like he was affectionately saying she wasn’t affected by those emotions. I’ve never really heard him say anything unkind to her, even when she summoned the harem and he wanted to be alone with her. Though, maybe I’m not being overly optimistic here. This episode did take a dark turn.

As soon as Geordo mentioned dark magic it was obvious that oh wait SPOILERS SPOILERS, watch episode 10 first if you don’t want to be spoiled. You only need to watch a bit of it, things get spelled out very quickly.

Don’t worry! I’ll add a note earlier in the text! There, done.

Never hurts to be extra careful.

Like I was saying, it becomes pretty obvious that Sirius has dark magic. In case his name wasn’t enough of a clue. The episode spells it out in detail later on when Catarina remembers what Achan told her about the secret route, but by that time everyone already knows and the scene becomes redundant. 

At that point, even Catarina called herself an idiot for not remembering. But honestly, I thought she was being too harsh on herself (as usual!). I mean, she had died, right? She’s trying to remember a previous lifetime, merge its information into a new life in this world, and make good runtime decisions. I think she’s been doing great being able to keep things even almost straight!

It also seems that Maria, as a light magic user can “see” Sirius’ dark energy or something and she goes off to confront him but gets disappeared in the process. 

Everyone is searching for Maria and Catarina feels particularly guilty at leaving her alone, which may explain the anxiety dream she has where all her friends are dead(?) asleep (?)…  It’s the bad end of the secret route it seems. 

Did you see how Acchan described that path? She called it “a super bad ending.” So I guess there were clues all along, but damn — this got dark fast.

Eventually, Catarina and Sirius find themselves in the courtyard alone by chance. Even though Geordo specifically told Catarina not to wander the school alone. And after a cheesy bad guy reveal, Sirius put Catarina in a magical coma. I understand that there are only two episodes to go, but I feel like they really rushed this part. They could have skipped one of the filler episodes and stretched out the suspense a little more. 

What did you think of this turn of events Crow?  Bit much? Not enough?

I’ll preface this by saying I still really like the show, and it’s because I like the show and its characters that I found this episode a little upsetting. First, Maria abducted? Not cool! Not only is she such a sweet young woman, but Catarina investested a lot in keeping her safe and happy. Her abduction is bad all around.

Second, we got some hints in earlier episodes that Sirius was probably up to no good, but this turn is so dramatic that I have a sense the narrative didn’t adequately prepare us. At the very least, I wasn’t prepared. Catarina’s so warm-hearted that she even tried kindness on Sirius — right before he put her under! This episode almost felt cruel.

All I can say is this: If Mary finds out what Sirius did, unless his dark magic is super powerful, he’s in for a world of hurt.

Personally I celebrate Christmas, but there is a lot more to the last week of the year than that, so I wish you all a wonderful time, for you and your loved ones! <3 <3 <3

I love snow, even though there is hardly ever any for Christmas where I live in France, so please have some, especially if you’re like me, haha! 

I also wanted to take some time to thank you all, as always. I’ve been a bit more absent than the previous years lately, mostly because I’m so busy (in fact I’m working tonight between Christmas’ Eve and Christmas, like so many others, so this post is queued), but I still love doing the few I’m capable of on my blog. 

Yep, I love chatting about different series and getting to know more and more incredible universes and characters, so here’s to hoping I’ll manage to be more around in 2020. :D

But, most of all, I love being able to meet fellow fans and enjoying these great works of fiction with you guys. <3

We all have our moments, so it’s not always easy to get along + each fandom has its own set of rules, but I wouldn’t still be here after, what, 6 or 7 years now, if I hadn’t met so many incredible people and hadn’t had a lot of fun with them!

So to them, to you, to everyone really, I wish you all a Merry Christmas, whether you celebrate it or not :D Take it or leave it, it’s only positive thoughts for everyone who reads this.

How did  i fall?  Chapter 1

Summary: Yuko is engage to Acchan but when she meet Haruna and become close she start to fall in love with her until they have a secret affair.

I’m looking at myself in the mirror, and take a deep breath, “You can do it, Yuko.” I said to myself, you can notice that I’m so nervous. I don’t know if I can do this right, I close my eyes to calm myself. And think the reason why I will do this. I do this because I love her, I want to share the rest of my life with her. I’m smiling now because I remember her face, her perfect face, and I know she’s the one. I love her with all my heart, so there’s no reason to back out now. And then I slowly open my eyes and now i'm full of determination. I clutch the little box inside of my pocket.

“You practice this so many times, so don’t worry”

And someone open the door. “Yuko what are you doing here? You need to go outside now.”

I turn around to see who is the person calling me,

“Sae-chan”, I hug her. “I don’t know what to do, I’m so nervous.”

Sae push me a little, “We plan this for so long, so why you nervous now?” she ask me.

I pout, “What if she said NO?” Sae raise her eyebrow, “Yuko, how long you two been together?” she ask me.

“Three years”,

“And how long you two decide to live together?” she ask me again.

“One year”, I answer her.

“So why you think, she will say NO?” I try to open my mouth, but when I think about it, she’s right.

She touch my shoulder with her both hands.

“You love her right?”, I just nod , “You want her to be your wife?” I nodded again. “You want her to feel she’s the most important person in your life, right?” she continue. “And then, what the hell are you doing here? Go outside and make your girlfriend your wife.”

I straight my body and look in her eyes, “Your right.” Sae smile, “Ahm..? Sae? I wanna ask something?”

“What is it?”

I pout “Why I’m wearing Tuxedo? It supposed to be a dress.” Sae laugh,

“She’s your princess right?” she ask me.

“Yes, She’s the most beautiful, sexiest princess I ever seen.” I said proudly,

“So you’re the princess, prince.” I titled my head, I smile cheeky.

“You’re right, I never expect you’re also smart.” She hit my head when she hear that

“Baka!” I rub my head, “It hurts you know.” Sae pull me, “Come on let’s go outside”, while we walking, “Where is she now?” I ask her. “Well the last time I talk to Sayaka, she said they will here in a couple of minutes, so you need to prepare yourself” I just nodded at her. ‘This is it Yuko’, I tell to myself.

I stand in the middle of the garden , where the ground full of rose petals. And in the side, there’s Orchestra. It’s night, so the firework was perfect. Sae-chan is in front of me, she check my tuxedo

“Yuko listen to me”, I look at her,

“We plan this so many times, so just do what we plan and everything will be okay, you can do this.” I laugh,

“What?”

“It’s funny, because the way you act, it’s like you’re my father.”

Sae look at me with a serious face. “Don’t make this a joke, Sayaka said they here now.” After I heard that I get nervous again,

“I need to go” I nod, and Sae leave me. I just look at the entrance, I patiently wait for her, my whole body is shaking. This is the first time I feel this, and then I saw two people walking in my direction. I clutch the box inside my pocket again, and then I saw her. When Sayaka saw me, she said her goodbye to my future wife, I can see she’s surprise. She not moving, I just smile at her. And now she’s walking towards me, and then the music start. I know, I know she have a clue already. I’m just stand and wait for her to come at me, and now she’s in front of me.

“What is this?” she ask me,

I take a deep breath before I speak. “Did you still remember what you told me before, when were still dating?” I ask her,

she just nod. “You always tell you want a perfect proposal, in the garden, with the orchestral playing our favorite song. And you get angry, because you thought I’m not listening, but the truth is, I memorize all the things you said. Because I want you to feel how much I love you. And I want this day to be perfect for you. I love you so much, I can’t live without you, I can’t breathe every time you’re not around, and I feel sad every time I can’t see you. I’m weak every time I can’t hug you, I need you in my life, because for me you’re my air, my life support, the owner of my heart.” I take a deep breath, before I continue my speech, I can see she’s crying now.

“Baby?”

She look at me when she hear me. I down on my knees, I grab the box and slowly open it, in front of her.

“Miss Maeda Atsuko, will you marry me?” she cover her mouth with her hand.

“I know we can’t marry here, but I will find a place for us, even if in other country, I’m willing to marry you there. And we will create our own family, so Miss Maeda? Are you willing to be a Mrs. Oshima?” she still crying, she nod many times. “You don’t need to ask me, if you’re not proposing now, I’m the one who will propose to you.” She said, I stand up and get the ring in the box and put in her finger. She bit her lips,

“Perfect” I said when I saw the ring in her finger. She hug me,

“I love you” I said, she pull away the hug and when she can see my face, she kiss me. While we kissing, I hear the firework start, but we don’t care anymore, we just continue what we doing.

“Are you still sad?” Acchan ask me, I pout and shook my head. She cupped my face,

“I’ll be back soon, if i finish our business there, it’s only five months and after that we will plan are wedding” she said.

Yes, Acchan is leaving, were in the airport and I accompany her. She will go in New York for some business purpose. I hug her tight,

“You won’t let me go huh Yuko?” she asks me.

“I won’t” I buried my face in her neck, she gently rub my hair.

“I will miss you too, we will contact each other right?” I look at her and I nod. She touch my face and kiss me,

“I love you” she said.

“I love you more”, she chuckle,

“How much you love me?” I pull away and gesture my hands,

“This big, no! more than this.” She hold my hands

“Be careful when I’m not around.” I pout,

“Mou.. Acchan, why you always treat me like a kid and beside you the one who need to be careful” I said.

“Hai”,

“And don’t cheat on me”, she frowned,

“Of course not! I wont cheat, I love you so much, I will die if you the one who will cheat.” I hug her,

“I will not cheat on you, I’m so stupid if I do that.” She smile,

“I think I need to go now” she said, I just nod with a sad face, she kiss me for the last time,

“I love you” she said again. And then I watch her leave.

I’m in the park, holding my camera, one of my hobbies was taking pictures of everything I think pretty in my eyes. It’s only 2 days since Acchan leave, but I already miss her. So that’s why I’m here, taking picture of the kids playing. I like taking picture of them, I really like there smiling face and there laugh. I look around to find my inspiration, I saw a little flower who bloom in the middle of the grass. I take a picture of that, and then I start to explore the park I saw a big tree. I take a picture of that tree, but when I start to push the button, I saw something, I can hear my heartbeat fast. I saw this beautiful woman who’s sitting under the tree and watch the kids. I'm mesmerize by her, her eyes, her lips, and her beautiful face. i think she's the most beautiful person i ever met she’s like an angel who came from above. What I didn’t notice is that I put down my camera and I just look at her.
