Arcane Act 1 - Everybody ends up where they don't want to be and why that is a problem
In my first reaction I talked a bit about structural weaknesses and after a bit of sleep one thing popped into my head. I tried to get not spoiled too much but one of the few things I read that there was an interview and somebody from the writing team said that in a way everybody ends up where they don't want to be or something a long those lines.
I think this theme is heavily present in Act 1 already and I think this is kind of a structural writing problem. Because it is usually fundamentally more interesting to see characters have a goal and try to achieve it and either get it or fail than for characters to be pushed into something by higher powers.
The additional problem is that so far in Act 1 we haven't always seen enough of what the characters want instead. So character A wants X, but is forced into Y.
Let's go into detail:
Back when I read the spoiler I assumed it would be something like that:
Jinx ends up as a revolutionary
Vander who wanted to curb his violence ends up as a violent beast
Vi ends up as a cop
Caitlyn ends up in a position of power and influence
Ekko ends up working with Piltover even though he wants to protect his people
Now that Act 1 has rolled around we concrete have:
Vi taking the badge
Caitlyn being thrust into leading Piltover (maybe being thrust into her mother's spot)
Viktor becoming an object of worship without wanting that
We see the first traces of Jinx becoming a freedom fighter and Ekko being pulled into working for Piltover.
Ironically, I think I've been enjoying the story of Mel and Ambessa (I know I'm probably in the minority) because that theme feels least present with them so far or at least they seem to be acting more along the lines of their genuine interest still.
Mel
Mel wants to protect Piltover in her way and doesn't trust her mother. She is also forced by circumstances to do stuff she doesn't like (like agreeing to the invasion) but she's still overall pursuing her interests (trying to figure out what Ambessa's plan is, trying to soften the murderous interests of the rest of the council). Maybe in the future her "ends up where she doesn't want to be" will be her working with her mother or becoming like her.
Ambessa
Ambessa of cource we find out is being hunted by the Black Rose, so I presume her "I don't want to be here" is being in Piltover. But she still feels like she's expressing her personality and making moves and being proactive within the situation she finds herself in. Maybe her ending up doing the opposite of what she wants will be either protecting Piltover or having to fight her own daughter (maybe a Black Rose possesed Mel).
Their stories are more fun to me because they are still in the "want" phase and not in the "forced" phase.
Caitlyn
Next we have Caitlyn. I think she's actually one of the better ones (again I presume many people will disagree with me on that). For one she actually gets some room to express what she wants. She wants peace (scene where sits at her mother's pond). She wants like Mel to soften the blow of Piltover against Zaun to some extent. We can infer that she wants a happy life with Vi (though I think that could have been really driven home if we had gotten a dream sequence which makes it clear: yes what she really wants is sit in a flower field and hold hand and play footsie with Vi, thus making it more tragic when her actions end up driving them apart).
It also benefits from her conflict not being purely external "Ambessa pushed her into taking power", but being actually an internal conflict. She wants to be a good person, but she also wants revenge and struggles with those feelings and her growing prejudice.
Viktor
With Viktor the whole "forced" is most present. He probably wasn't planning to be a prophet, it just sort of happens to him. I think his story is still weak because we have seen very little of what he actually wants. We can infer if we remember season 1 that he wants peace and hextech not being used for war. But in the show it feels very "oh, yeah, gotta go."
Vi
Vi of course ends up taking the badge. I think her story suffers because to me it feels very muddled what she wants at the moment. She wants to help apprehend Jinx. We presume she wants to be with Caitlyn.
Also her "forced" push is pretty unimpressive (like really? being flattered that Caitlyn praised her to other people plays a role?). She protects people almost out of instinct (ie the chemtech attack on the council).
In season 1 Vi's wants were a huge driver of the whole story. Vi wants to prove herself that's why she organizes the heist, Vi wants to make up for the mess she made with the botched heist, Vi wants to protect her family and save Vander, Vi wants to find her sister, Vi wants to rescue Jinx from Silco's influence.
Every single one of her wants ended up blowing up in her face and that made up the deep tragedy of season 1. We like Vi, we care about Vi's wants and hurts us to see her fail. She wants to prove herself but brings tragedy on the Lanes, she wants to turn herself in but gets foiled, she wants to save Vander, but he dies, she wants to find her sister and when she does it turns out that her sister is a different person, she wants to pry Jinx from Silco's influence but it turns out Jinx really enjoys it and there is no way bring Powder back.
In season 2 her wants feel pretty muddled and much weaker. She wants to apprehend Jinx with the task force. She feels bad and guilty over Caitlyn's mom. She presumably wants to be with Caitlyn.
I think it worth noting that there is IMO no strong drive to protect Zaun. I think a lot of fans probably perceived her as this is something she should feel, but IMO I genuinely don't see it.
Vi is somebody who suffers from being perceived as a Zaunite, she has some loyalty in the sense that she doesn't take the badge, but I genuinely don't get a deep connection between her and Zaun. Vi I think is more universal in that if she sees anybody getting attacked she wants to step in and help, there is no special loyalty to her people. She defends the Pilties when the Chembarons attack, she stands up to Caitlyn when Isha is in the line of fire. There are hints of Vi having a codex but I feel unclear on what exactly that codex is (no killing kids? no kiling at all? no killing except proven guilty people?).
Please note how at no point when the subject was on attacking Zaun she brought up Ekko (ie come on Caitlyn, you know there are good people down there, such as Ekko, or no attempts are made to warn Ekko that an attack is coming). [it's a pity I think if this connection had been made it would have ramped up the tragedy and emotional punch a lot, would have portrayed Vi more as somebody who is torn between Zaun and Piltover]
(my personal read is that Vi feels no connection to Zaun because she was in jail for so long and when she came back she no longer recognized it as "her" Zaun and maybe she associates Zaun with having poisoned her sister)
Anyway, Vi's clearest moment of tragedy coincides with her moment of stating an actual believable want and it says a lot about her as a character in Season 2 so far. It's the scene where she tells Caitlyn that everything around her changed and she wants Caitlyn to stay the same.
And of course she states it exactly 5 minutes before Caitlyn changes on her (becoming like Jinx as Vi puts it).
Still, what Vi expresses in that conversation is very telling of her character. That she feels like she has lost her connection to everything and she was clinging to Caityn as her one thing and that that one thing changes and rejects her.
I think Vi's story suffers from her stated want coming to late in the act and her morals being inclear (ie she against killing? can't be since she asks Caitlyn to take the shot on Jinx? so just kiling children? innocents? what violates her moral code and what doesn't?).
Jinx and Ekko
I think Jinx and Ekko are not completely deep in the "forced" phase, but I think they are sort of muted" in the "want" as well. Jinx has expressed that she wants to die but imo it feels sort of half hearted. Jinx says she wants to blow it all up, but imo it feels sort of half hearted. Jinx expresses anger over what Caitlyn using the grey but we don't really see the process of what she does about it.
Her forced aspect comes in the sense of the girl latching on to her (and there's potential there in her repeating what happened between her and Silco) but I think all of the new characters fall pretty flat so far. NuGirl really would have benefitted from getting a flashback to explain her backstory. (yes even if she ends up getting killed)
Ekko just wants to protect his people but the illness of the tree forces him to go to Piltover with Heimer. At this point both his wants and his forced are pretty muted.
Jayce
I think Jayce's story suffers from him being actually the character who is in multiple stories. He's a little bit with Caitlyn and Vi (he wanted to honor Viktor's wishes not to build hextech weapons but he makes them for Cait after all), he's a little bit Mel, he's a little bit in Viktor's story, and a little bit in the Heimer/Ekko story.
I think better writing could have really made use of the fact that Jayce is the character who is in multiple storylines but imo it didn't happen.
At the moment (maybe just because of how Act 1 ended) Hextech feels like his big tragedy. (Mel's line about wanting to protect his dream) Season 1 Jayce was cocky and wanted to make the world better with Hextech (+ be a magician), in season 2 he finds out that hextech is actually completely fucking over the The Arcane.
Again this is something that could really have benefitted to a flashbacks for Jayce's highs when everything was still golden and glorious for him rather than just pans onto his old mug.
Conclusion
Structurally the tragedy is there for everybody, but I don't really *feel* the tragedy of it yet because the show isn't making heavy enough use of contrast (ie investing more time of emotionally showing us what the character actually wants so we can feel the weight of when they end getting the actual opposite, I think flashbacks could have accomplished that).

spoilers ahead for s1 and 2 of arcane
jinx centered Arcane rambleeee :3
i feel that jinx is the embodiment of getting so close to happiness but having it constantly torn away from her. Usually somewhat by her own doing, but Vi also had a lot to do with her losses when u think abt it.
Ekko Jinx Vi Claggor and. the guy i forget his name. Were all starting to be happy and live a life with Vander and the chill guy who was like ekkos dad. Yea sure they did get involved with shady shit, and crime and all of that. But They didnt have much of a choice while living in Zaun. But then they go on a mission, which the outcome of has a chain reaction to the rest of the series.
(as clearly shown in the AU where vi is dead and everyone else is thriving and hextech doesnt exist bc jayce probably succeeded in his attempt on his life after the explosion killed Vi. And Theres a buncha stuff that could have happened w viktor. maybe his disease progressed too far, or he didnt gain interest because of the outcome of its accidental use killing a young girl frkm the undercity. which could give him moral cause to not support jayce. but anyways back to the main topic)
That mission led to powder/jinx really really needing to feel helpful. So what happens? She gets her bombs to work. But she accidentally "kills" vander in the process. As well as actually killing claggor and the other guy. Therefore getting si close to feeling happy and useful. But it being taken away by her own actions and Vi's influence (imo vi's reaction is what leads her to be taken in by silco. bc silco feels safer now than Vi, who just hit her in the face and called her a jinx after previously reassuring her she wasnt.)
Later on when Jinx is with silco. Silco loves jinx. He's a decent father figure, horrible person (product of environment and never finding the letter) but an ok father. He loves Jinx and wouldn't give her to Piltover even though thats what the council wanted to 'allow' zaun to be its own sovereign state. He trusts her to an extent. She has her fun with her gadgets and explosives and Silco scolds her when needed. etc. I'd argue that Even though it wasn't perfect, and jinx was struggling with untreated mental illness, She was starting to get kinda happy and comfortable.
But what happens next? She kidnaps Vi and Caitlyn, Vi accidentally triggers her into an episode, and jinx accidentally kills silco while she's disoriented and hallucinating. And even after that?? Silco didnt get upset because he Knew that she didnt mean to. ( which EUGH.. their fucked up father daughter duo makes me so emotional) Happiness ripped away p2.
Okay! Maybe third time is the charm. She has Isha! And She's done with the Jinx persona but knows she isnt really powder either. She does her best to be a good older sister and shows isha the ropes of zaun-living kinda. They genuinely have a nice bond and Jinx stops getting involved with as much violence. Also if you notice, most of her hallucinations have stopped (at least on screen).
And Then they meet up w Vi and find Warwick/Vander. They make it to Viktor's Cult and happiness looks so fucking close. They could be a real Family.
And WHAT HAPPENS????? Ambitcha and her army barge in, wanting Warwick for a weapon, Jayce drops in to try to kill his boyfriend who isnt himself fully anymore, and it all goes ti shit! Jinx loses Isha and Vander (again) And its all fucked. That was her last fucking straw. After losing all of that she goes tk prison.
And after EVERYTHING she's endured. All of that kind of finalizes in her brain that she is a Jinx.
In the end, If you look at jinx's facial expressions as she saves Vi and (probably) dooms herself, she's content. She's content dying this way. After losing Everything. After feeling like she was the cause of everything bad. She could do One thing to give her remaining family member happiness. And doing that one thing seemed to give her relief or possibly even her own happiness. And if she died, that final emotion, finally reaching a semblance of being content, couldnt be taken away.
and i dont blame her for choosing to go out like that. was i happy? FUCK NO i was sobbing. but it made sense. ik there's a theory she's probably alive. esp cus she's like a main character in league. but from what ive seen/heard? arcane is based on lol lore but not quite. And Jinx is a far more nuanced character in arcane.
i think thats all for now. prepare for more long ass posts bc this show is pure art. and i loved it.

"Jinx them up, for me. Fucker told her my daughter's name. Thought.. thought the worst."
Now that was an instruction Jinx didn’t need to hear twice. Finally, someone was coming around to her way of thinking! A little chaos could be reaaaal useful sometimes. For a greedy moment, Jinx began to imagine the things she might do to the traitor when she caught them. The punishment had to be fitting, after all. That didn’t stop the comical mental image of filling their mouth with fireworks any less appealing.
Scar let out a shrill sort of laugh. For a moment, Jinx wondered if he’d caught a glimpse into the beautiful picture of vengeance in her mind.
"The best at finding. Have full faith in you."
Coming from a grump like Scar, that was quite the compliment. Jinx felt her chest pool with warm, giddy pride. Being helpful was…kinda nice when it worked out like this. She’d outshone the other Firelights in this moment. For once, her knowledge of Shimmer, Sevika and all the ugly little operations taking place in the dark was seen as an advantage. Her unique abilities could be an asset- they could! She was going to help those silly Firelights change how they saw things- open their minds! Maybe then some of them would feel better about trusting her? Bringing Scar back was a pretty good gift, after all!
"...New drug. Hitting streets now - or soon. Makes you feel...No pain. No anger. Just - just nice. Helps you sleep. Assholes called it Firelight. Can you believe that?"
Jinx listened intently. Firelight. A humourless scoff sounded near where Scar had settled his hand. Nasty old Sevika was at it again. How’d they get the batches to go green like that? Jinx scooted closer to the grate, peering through the gaps between Scar’s fingers to get a better look at his face.
“Ooooooooooooh.” Was all Jinx managed as the pieces began to click into place. So that was what they’d been talking about in the Chem Baron meeting. Had they been trying to get Scar to do anything else instead of talk? Or were they just filling him up with this new Shimmer and leaving him to sit quietly in a box? Jinx’s brow furrowed. If it was the latter, they couldn’t rule out the possibility that he was being kept alive as bait. The new name of the shimmer batch was a nasty invitation, one that Jinx knew that Ekko and all his most loyal Firelights would be baying for blood over.
“Hah. That’s rude.” Jinx offered a shred of shared indignation at the news. She peered at Scar’s claws through the grating, lifting a hand to hold next to them, comparing their nails. Wow. He really had some painting potential there. For a distracted moment, Jinx felt a playful kind of jealousy before her mind snapped back to the task at hand.
“So! If they got information from someone who IS talking, what are they using you for? -Other than a punch bag.” She tacked on with a wave of a hand. What was the point of keeping Scar in a box, hopped up on Shimmer if he wasn’t giving up any information? Why hadn’t they killed him yet? What else did they need? At what point in her adventure today had a pebble found its way into her boot? What WAS turning the shimmer green?! It seemed kinda important to figure those things out.
“What does good ‘ol Scar hafta do to make Sevika happy?”
"You found me." (@vastayan--vigilante )
Everything that followed the mission had been a bore.
There was no adrenaline now. No electricity. People moved like their limbs were attached to anchors, scuffing their feet, as they convened with hollowed eyes. Some of them were still crying. Eugh. Was this what happened whenever somebody didn’t come back from a mission? Jinx doubted the same rituals of grief would be extended if she’d been the one who hadn’t made it back.
Whatever. Whilst everyone wasted time stewing on Scar’s Oh-So-Brave sacrifice, playing it over in their heads, blaming themselves and mentally replaying time, Jinx contemplated her last glimpse of the vastayan. Sevika had got him preeeeetty good. Sure, that usually was a death sentence. But how long did it take to drive a blade through somebody or shoot them in the head? You didn’t waste time binding someone’s wrists if you were gonna kill them good ‘n quick. You didn’t! Sevika didn’t. You tied someone up to play the Long Game. Jinx had seen it done more times than she could count- she’d even partaken in a few of the ventures herself. So that had to mean Scar wasn’t dead, at least not yet…right? If he was dead his body would be left in the street. Sevika and her goons never tidied up their messes.
Jinx wandered idly past the memorial wall’s latest cluster of visitors, lighting candles and painting. Sheesh, were they that used to their friends dying that they’d already given up hope? Had nobody else picked up on the signs out there? Pausing, Jinx scanned the group, noting Ekko near the heart of it. For a moment, she hesitated before turning on her heel and heading towards the tree.
She could dart back out there to check if Scar’s body was left in the gutter. What if his body wasn’t there and her hunch was right? Priggs? There was nowhere else they could take him. Priggs still had its old boltholes. Maybe she could find a clue. Something useful to bring back to Ekko and all the others so they stopped being so…boring. Maybe Scar was going to be kept for some questioning. The Firelights had made more of a name for themselves, so it made sense for Sevika to be closing in. What if I find him? Jinx thought to herself whilst taking pains to fill her pockets with enough fresh supplies to see her through another ugly scuffle. Safety first!
If Scar was in there, it was good news! Jinx to the rescue! It made perfect sense. The idea was exciting. Fun. WAY more fun than blubbering and drawing Scarface next to a sea of dead guys. It wasn’t hard to slip away, not when just about everybody’s mind was a million miles away.
The first part of the plan was easy. The streets were much quieter in the wake of everything. No Scar-shaped bodies were left bleeding out into the cobbled streets. Finding Priggs was easy too. The place was massive, after all, and not entirely unknown territory. Slipping into Priggs and digging around, eavesdropping and keeping an eye open for any familiar faces was also easy. The challenge came once Jinx had prized herself into the air vents. It was harder to listen in from here; harder to get your bearings and moving took more time and effort. The good thing was, the vent system seemed to lead to just about every room. The bad news? Priggs was huge.
It took a long time of crawling and listening at vents to get a real heading. The mention of ‘visitors’ had seemed promising, until Jinx followed it to a Chem Baron meeting. Then she followed the voices out, took some turns in an order that felt right and paused to write her last will and testament on the inside of one of the vent panels before continuing. The whole journey was beginning to feel like a game of hide and seek that she was hours into losing until one very familiar voice sounded near the closest hatch in the vent system. Sevika.
“How’s the guest?”
“Quiet.” Sevika’s oafish voice grunted.
Jinx strained in an effort to prize more words out of the unintelligible muttering. Nothing. But ‘guest’? That felt important. And the guest was going to be in one of the rooms in the opposite direction to where Sevika was going now. Jinx pressed forwards. After what felt like years, one of the dim holding rooms revealed the sight she was looking for. Crumpled and much smaller than Jinx remembered him, there was the unmistakable shape of Scar in a funny position on the floor. Jinx bit back a victorious squeal of excitement.
Gotcha!
For a long moment, Jinx simply watched, fascinated by the poor state of her friend and his confinement. He was definitely alive…which was the most anyone could really ask for right now. Laying on her stomach, Jinx propped her head onto one hand, pursing her lips down to the very miserable lump that she now called a friend.
For a moment, she considered the need to be discreet. Sound carried, after all, and compromising this good of a find wasn’t an option. So, what then? Jinx began trailing a finger absently against the grating at the mouth of the vent into the room. It only made a small noise, but maybe to a person in an empty room it would be enough to steal their attention. Jinx waited. Nope! Nothing. Okay fine. Screw being quiet. She’d tell a joke. Scar looked like he could use a good joke. Before Jinx could settle on one, her nose itched from the disrupted dust and with a half-caught breath, a sneeze sounded from the vent.
Ah well. May as well rip the baid-aid off now. Cat’s outta the bag!
“I knew I’d find you.” Unbridled pride swam in Jinx’s words. As Scar turned, Jinx grimaced at the sight of his face. Wow. Was this the right guy?
“You found me.”
“Uh. Yeah!” Jinx drawled, as though it were an obvious conclusion to the latest events. “Didya miss your old pal Jinx?”

Nowhere To Go (Silco/fem!Reader) 13
Tumblr media
Start here
Previous Chapter | Next Chapter
Okay, so first things first, this took waaaay too long to write. Probably because I have to set some things up to get to where I want to end the story and that is annoying and not that much fun to do. That's why it's so short. Next chapter, shit starts happening.
However, I already have written parts of the next chapters down, the ones I'm actually looking forward to. There are going to be about 3 to 4 more chapters until I can finally put this project to an end.
I'm really suprised that there are still people out there reading this and it honestly makes me so happy! :)
To say you were suprised when you awoke in a bed, was maybe an understatement. You had pretty much expected to be abandoned in the alleyway you had fallen unconscious in. Instead, you were faced with the bored expression on Ekkos face as he peeled an apple with a pocket knife, sitting in a chair in the corner of the room. "So you're finally awake, huh?" He asked, slipping a piece of red apple skin into his mouth, not once raising his gaze from the knife. It took you a moment to answer, your mind still fuzzy from sleep. "Looks like it.." you croaked and at that sound Ekko motioned to the side of the bed where a bottle of water stood and you gladly took it.
He gave you a moment before he spoke again. "You helped Jinx escape. Why?" You felt the anger hidden underneath his cold demeanour. The feeling of heaviness weighted on your heart and you swallowed at the sensation. "I like her. I care for her wellbeing, whatever she has done throughout her life." You watched Ekko closely, trying to decipher his thoughts as he kept a unbothered facade. Sighing, you leaned back against the headboard. "The first time I saw her, she was just a daughter worried about her father's condition. She acted out of love and desperation. I can't seem to see anything else in her than the hurt she carries with her. I would say that I'm sorry for helping her, but I'm absolutely not."
A slight twitch if Ekkos brows revealed to you that he was still upset and not happy about you doubling down. "If you just decide things like that on your own, how are supposed to trust in your support?!" The question was harsh but you were barely suprised. You had expected consequences the moment you had decided to free her and you weren't going to apologise for it. "I guess you don't." You answered instead, feeling the meaning of your words fill the air in the room. He was right. They couldn't entirely trust you with your willingness to attack them if they acted against your beliefs. A realisation slowly settled in your guts, a feeling of dread and hopelessness covering the last pieces of comfort you had found in this place. They weren't like you. In a sense, they were the opposite of Silco, still willing to take lifes if they decided it necessary.
But you had killed as well, hadn't you? The mangled corpses flashed up in your memory and you felt sick again. What had you become? Shaking your head, you slipped your feet to the ground. "I will leave. I should've done so the second I layed hands on that poor yordle." A scoff. "And where would you go?" Your heart clenched at the emptiness you found in the truth of his words. "It doesn't matter." You said instead, getting to your feet. "It is better for both sides, I believe." Despite the still somewhat lingering exhaustion, your legs carried you effortlessly. "I'm sorry." Another phrase you were getting tired of hearing, even if just from yourself. You moved towards the door as Ekko stood, blocking your way. "So that's it? You waste our time and resources, gather information about how we work and now you just think you can leave?" He tried to threaten you, you realised but you felt little to no fear of him. Maybe that was foolish, but you couldn't care less right about now.
"Yes. If you try to stop me, I won't hesitate to fight you again." Quieter you added, "even if I really don't want to." For a moment, he held your gaze, seemingly debating whether it was worth it or not, until he finally dropped his stare to the ground, stepping aside. "Thank you. For everything." You spared him a subtle smile, even if he didn't look at you, you hoped he had seen it. Than you slipped past him, down the hallway and into the open middle. You headed for the exit when a gentle, wise voice called your name, making you halt amd turn around to watch the professor close up to you. "Hello my child. Are you leaving?" He looked at you with warm curiosity, and you had a feeling he already knew what was happening. You threw a cautious glance over his shoulder (so on eyelevel, really) and nodded. His mustach twitched as he acknowledged your answer. "I.. assumeit's not a temporary leave?" He added, a little quieter. Again, you nodded, this time a forced smile on you lips. "It's for the best." You explained and he seemed to follow your thought without any additional explanation.
Of course he knew what had happened and he was smart enough to figure the rest out on his own. "Would you mind my company? I was going to head for a walk myself." You swallowed a remark about that seemingly being an excuse to talk to you, a part of you starting to enjoy the yordles company throughout what little time you had known each other. He was clever, a little big on lectures but you didn't mind. "Sure, I can entertain that idea for a while." He squinted his eyes in amusement and so the two of you left the beautiful safe space behind. The area around was mostly dead and abandoned due to the sickness that had settled in the ground after years of spreading chemicals from the local factories into the earth. It was a sad sight in a different way than the rest of the undercity, for it felt entirely drained of any life whatsoever. The first few minutes you walked in silence, a little impressed by the professors speed despite his size. He was obviously used to keeping up with human sized companions.
He was the ine to break the peace. "Correct me if I'm wrong, but you aren't leaving to spill their secrets to someone else, right? So what is driving you away, my dear girl?" There was no accusation in his voice and it almost felt like he wasn't involved in this situation at all. It gave you a sense of peace. A bittersweet smile formed on your lips as you thought about telling the truth. Oh what the hell, what would he even be able to do with that information other than gossip.
"I lied to you." The silence beckoned you to continue. "Silco and I, we were.." sighing, you closed your eyes as if to shield yourself from Heimerdingers reaction. "We were more than just working with each other. We.. I fell in love with him." The rapid little footsteps stopped and you came to a halt as well, daring a glance down at the old men beside you. It was almost cute how shocked he looked, his mustach twisted downwards, eyes and mouth wide in expression. It only lastet a heartbeat before a look of empathy and sadness took over and you had to look away, fearing to see pity in his eyes. You felt tears asking for space in your eyes but you pushed them back down. "Jeah, I know.." you croaked, still avoiding his gaze. "I know it is stupid, but what can I do? This feelings are existent despite my disapproval of his actions. I can't find it in myself to hate him. Even less so to let someone hurt him. Even if I did just that by leaving." It was weird talking about it out loud, but in a good way. "I got to know Jinx a little, see how much he cares about her. He.. he already lost so much.." Now the tears did find a way into your vision and when you closed your eyes, they fell. Your heart was still aching and you started to think that it would stay this way for the rest of your life.
"Oh dear. I'm so very sorry." Your eyes snapped open, looking at him with confused sadness. He saw the question in your eyes and sighed. "Love is the strongest power in our lifes and therefore the most capable of causing us pain. I can't say I understand your feelings for a men like him, but I can imagine the hurt it causes you." He started walking again, his head lowered in thought and you silently travelled along. You had expected him to judge you, to try and talk you out of it but once again, you were pleasantly surprised and you heart felt a little less alone. "I don't know where to go anymore." You admitted, your voice still raw with vulnerability. "It seems that every decision I make is wrong. Everytime something good is offered to me, I push it away. Nothing feels right anymore." The professor looked up at you with gentle eyes. "I made a few bad decisions in my life as well, I see that now. Coming down here was different from anything I had done before, but it helped understand. Maybe you should try and do something similar. A change of perspective, perhaps?" You met his gaze, wonder in your head. Maybe he was right. But what would that mean?
"I can't go back to him, anyways. I'm pretty sure he wants me dead. Not that I can blame him.." "Oh no, my dear girl. You don't deserve to die for following your own path. You're the only one who decides what you want to do." His words were firm and they sounded more like the men used to an authoritarian role. They gave you hope. "Yeah, I guess you're right." Was your reply, you eyes drifting off to the horizon, where the harsh edges of Zaun reached for the sky. "Thank you, Heimerdinger." The small men smiled and wanted to say something else but you were faster, crouching down and pulling him into your chest in a heartfelt embrace. It was a funny feeling pushing such a hairy men against your frame, almost like hugging a teddy bear, only that those couldn't return the hug with a hearty chuckle.
You parted from the professor at the end of the dead space, where the first poor houses came into view. You bit him farewell and he wished you all the best for your journey, a hint of sadness in his eyes as he turned back to where you had come from. Without any goal in mind, you had subconsciously returned to your former place of residence, the sad remains of your house black from ashes. Sighing, you walked past them, your mind spinning around Heimerdingers words. A change of perspective? There was really only one place that could mean. You lead a heavy hand across your face, when a suprised gasp sounded from the left of you and you hecticly faced its origin. A mother had entered the alley behind you, frantically pushing her small child behind her back, staring at you in shock. "P-please, we- we don't want any trouble-" You blinked a few times, confused by her reaction. Did you look so scary? "It's okay, I'm not going to-" "Mommy, is that the witch?" The voice of the child was terrified and it caused you to step back in horror. They had seen you. This people had seen you. Seen what you did. Your throat closed up from horror at the realisation that your awfully well kept secret had been spilled by your own headless actions. News like this would spread like wildfire. Your head started throbbing as panic flooded your veins and without giving yourself any more time to think, you sprinted off into the streets, hoping to find a corner where you could collect your thoughts.
You only allowed yourself to breathe, when you had moved into the open end of an old sewer pipe. Rusty metal underneath your feet as you covered there, the hood of your coat drawn into your face. Your head buried into your hands, you tried desperately to try and make a reasonable decision about what to do now. You had left the only other place where you had been able to openly display your magic, where you didn't have to fear enforcers on your tail. Now there would be more of them down here, searching for you. Especially after the chaos you had created in that alleyway. They wouldn't do you the favor of forgetting about it. People down here now knew your face. Everyone could snitch you out to the enemy, you were no longer a nobody. Groaning, you massaged your temple. Where to go now?
The words of the professor echoed in your head. A new perspective. Maybe.. You froze. Had you lost your mind? You couldn't actually be thinking about.. moving upside, could you. Biting the inner side of your cheek, you started to think. You had basically burned every bridge you had had down here. People were scared of you. The eye of Zaun most likely wanted you dead. Enforcers were searching for a magician. In Piltover, chances were high that nobody would know your face. You wouldn't be able to find an apartment of something like that, but with your power, maybe you would be able to find a somewhat safe space to sleep. Where you could be you. Do what you thought was right. Maybe it was a stupid idea, but right now it was the only one you had. Desperate for a break from people and their opinion about you, you made plans for your next move.
Your plan was as simple as it was stupid. You knew a spell that made you invisible as long as you didn't budge into anything outside of the spell. You would sneak over the bridge, hope to be careful enough to not bump into anyone and make it to the other side. You were certain that you wouldn't survive another confrontation with enforcers, especially not if they were going to face you in an open area, definitely no roots to be found, no side streets to dissappear him. After all, it took only one bullet to end your life for good. But you were desperate. And desperation makes us open to risks. So while you were slowly moving through the streets, avoiding any person crossing your way, you felt nearly excited to have a new path to take. No matter how ridiculous it might actually be.
---
Silco stared down at the report in front of him. He had wisely positioned some of his people on the other side of the bridge, spying for him and keeping him up to date with what was happening in Piltover. Now, for the first time since he had taken control over Zaun, it seemed that he was going to be forced into action. The written paragraphs were pieces of a conversation someone had eavesdropped on and there was no denying that the context of this dialogue spoke about war. About the planned strike against him. He was Zaun, he represented its future and past and every action taken against its entirety was a direct aggression against him and his goals. He had been preparing for a battle for a long time now, but as he was faced with the unpleasantly short notice about it finally arriving, he found himself uncertain about their chances to win, no to just survive tge forces of Piltover. Sure, his daughter was a genius constructing weapons and his people were brutal and more than willing to do what was necessary, but they could only do so much against an army with Hex-tech weaponry. A corner of his brain spat of betrayal and a name he had been avoiding, but he pushed it aside. He had no room for you anymore. More pressing issues were at hand.
Only two days from now, the entire city would move into war.

Too good for me? (Vi x Caitlyn Fanfiction) Part 1 of 2
“Give me a break.” Vi looked annoyed up to a certain degree with Ekko. The guy just smiled because he knew he was pushing the right buttons.
“Oh! No!” Ekko opened his eyes and put both hands into his mouth making a very faux surprised expression. “Please tell me you’ve not been wasting all this time NOT asking Caitlyn out? Daamn woman, you sure got no game.” He let his hands drop down in an exaggerated motion, turning the point he was making a whole lot bigger than normal.
Vi just rolled her eyes and a defeated smile appeared on her lips. “Look, I haven’t asked her out because... I don’t think I’m the right person.” Her voice lowered down a bit at the last few words, she sounded tired of thinking everything so much, especially not being enough for someone as perfect as Caitlyn.
“What? Are you kidding?” Ekko looked at her with a serious expression on his face, he looked at Vi from head to feet, then from feet to head. “You’re baddass!” He blurted out, not believing how his friend was this naive when it was something related to her huge crush. “I’m not the right person.” He imitated Vi in a mockingly tone. “You ARE her person, you just haven’t grown the balls to tell her. Trust me, she must be waiting for you to take the first step already.” Ekko just made a facepalm and dropped his ass at the nearest big block of debris.
Vi just stood there taking the not so subtle scoldings Ekko was giving her, and apparently she still wasn’t getting convinced by them just yet. “She is from Piltover, man... daughter of a counselor... I’m just, me.” Vi said not giving herself any credit. She was crazy about Caitlyn and she wanted to be with her with all her heart, but the difference of “status” made her back up completely. “Caitlyn is nice, she doesn’t care about those things.” Ekko defended Caitlyn’s position even though he didn’t knew her that well, but for the short period of time they knew each other he could tell Caitlyn genuinely cared about people, not their “status” or the money they had in their banks.
Vi smiled because he said something that was the main reason she loved Caitlyn so much. She was the most open minded person she had ever met; she didn’t care about where people came from or what they did in the past, as long as they learned from it and became a better version of themselves. She had a sense of justice in her blood but she wasn’t quick to judge others with it, she wasn’t cruel and knew that not everyone was born lucky in this world; everyone deserved a chance if they wanted it inside their hearts. She was amazing, lovable and kind. She believed in Vi since the first time they met, even if she didn’t have to. She was gorgeous inside and out and that made Vi’s heart jump of happiness every time they saw each other. That woman had Vi weak to her knees and Caitlyn probably didn’t even notice.
“That is true.” Vi replied with a smile stamped on her lips, she was gathering courage to ask the blue eyed woman out, finally. “I will ask her on a date, today.” And as soon as Vi finished the sentence Ekko screamed some funny howls, celebrating Vi’s decision. “You go girl! Can’t wait for you to tell me how the first kiss goes!” The guy said chuckling, he loved teasing Vi around regarding her crush. He knew in the end both of them would be happy, since he could see the tension between the two women, miles away.
Vi was a strong willed woman; anything she wanted to do she would do it without asking anyone. She would set her mind to a goal and no one would make her change her decisions. She had a big heart and strong emotions, but would try to hide them because she needed to be strong for everyone else. A natural born leader and protector of those she cared for. She was a fighter; but when it came down to Caitlyn she didn’t know how to even proceed.
Vi decided to look for her and start from there, hopefully she didn’t screw things up like she was used to do; sometimes she would put Caitlyn in precarious situations, or not give her enough credit on her ability to get her out of problems as fast as she did. Vi was a troublemaker and Caitlyn was her “savior”.
She arrived at the first place she thought she would find Caitlyn, the Shooting Range in Piltover. It was mostly a silent place and no one would use it, that was probably why Caitlyn loved it so much; she could hit targets and practice most of her free time, when she wasn’t in duty. Vi saw her and her heart skipped a beat, the other woman was an amazing shot and sexy at that, she stayed hidden admiring her skills and her beauty.
“Are you going to stay behind that bush all day?” Caitlyn asked while recharging her weapon to keep her practice going. She smiled; she knew Vi was there since the moment she arrived but decided to stay silent giving the other woman time to introduce herself. It was becoming awkward though, being watched in silence. She moved from her position to point and shoot at a different object that was flying into the sky.
“Sorry, I didn’t want to interrupt.” Vi went ahead and showed herself, she found Caitlyn but what now?! She was panicky, not knowing what say to keep a healthy conversation with her, what an idiot, she said to herself.
“You aren’t. How are you? It’s been days since I last saw you.” Caitlyn stopped her shooting and turned around to look at Vi, who was looking at her with parted lips, like if she wasn’t sure she was there or not. Caitlyn smiled cutting the distance between both of them and gave Vi a hug, she missed her a lot. “I’ve missed you, you big dummy.” Could be heard from her lips through a deep sigh of relief. Vi hugged her back and gave her a stronger hold, she didn’t want to let her go. “I’ve missed you too, cupcake. Much more than you imagine...” Her raspy voice gave Caitlyn butterflies on her stomach, but the deep blue eyed woman could hide it very well.
Vi broke the hug first and instinctively rested both her hands on each of Caitlyn’s forearms, the other woman didn’t mind but thought it was strange; usually Vi was more reserved to be touchy than that. “Are you ok?” Caitlyn suddenly changed her expression to one of concern. They were subtle details but Vi was acting strange nonetheless and Caitlyn noticed right away. “I’m fine, I’m fine...” Vi noticed why was the question made and her hands left Caitlyn’s forearms as fast as lightning. Caitlyn felt a bit disappointed by the lack of Vi’s touch and her eyes narrowed down, gazing at Vi deeply. After a few minutes of silence Vi decided to tell her something.
“I was just wondering if...” Vi started doubting if to actually tell her or not. “If you wanna go on a date... with me?” Her voice sounded high pitched at the end accompanying it with a comical flinched face, expecting the worst as a response. “It would be my honor.” Was Caitlyn’s response; one hand resting on Vi’s tattooed cheek trying to calm her, since she noticed the red haired woman was nervous as hell. She stole a smile from Vi’s lips by doing this and the red headed woman felt her confidence come back little by little, she thought her day would end up in rejection but it was the complete opposite.
“Really?! I mean, you don’t have a problem going out with someone like me?” Vi had to ask because she almost didn’t believe her response. “Someone like you? What do you mean?” Caitlyn was genuinely lost to what Vi was referring to. Vi observed her oblivious reaction and thought she looked adorable. “As in, someone from the Undercity instead of someone from Piltover.” Vi simply responded and it all came down to Caitlyn’s realization, a chuckle left her fine lips afterwards. “I don’t care about those things, Vi. All I care for, is you; the kind hearted woman standing in front of me.” Caitlyn’s voice was soft and her fingers rested on Vi’s chin for a bit after caressing her cheek, she could notice a blush making an appearance.
“When and where should I meet with you, then?” Caitlyn asked because she noticed Vi kind of forgot about mentioning those details. “I... Uhh...” Vi did forget about those details, shamefully. She had everything down to the point of asking and getting a rejection (in her mind), but after that it didn’t occur to her what would be a great place to take Caitlyn out to if she did indeed said yes. “You don’t have the slightest idea, do you?” Caitlyn asked, zero judgement on her voice; she knew the other woman was having it rough just by asking her out, apparently. Vi’s expression transpired shame, panic and nervousness, all at the same time, trying to find an inexistent response inside her mind.
“No need to worry, I know what we can do.” Caitlyn came to the rescue, again, Vi thought. This woman was too precious. “Wanna come to my place? My parents are absent from home for the week, which means you don’t have to worry about a dress code or anything. We could ask the family chef to cook anything we want, including Undercity cuisine, which he has told me he knew about. Also!” Caitlyn was clearly hyped about the date and Vi couldn’t stop her face from smiling now because the blue eyed woman was ranting all over the place. “I could show you a place I love visiting when I want to be alone, a secret place I only want to share with you.” She said looking at Vi with sparks on her eyes, Vi instantly knew this place was important for her.
“Yes, we can do all those things.” Vi brushed Caitlyn’s cheek lightly with her fingers, mirroring what Caitlyn had done a few minutes ago without realizing it. “How about I meet up with you at 7:00 pm at your place?” Vi asked observing Caitlyn’s eyes, she was looking back at her with loving eyes which made her feel like the luckiest woman in the world. “Sounds fantastic.” Caitlyn replied without a second thought, saving her weapon on her gun bag that was resting on her back. “I will patiently await your arrival, Violet.” Vi’s heart skipped a beat when the other woman said her whole name like that, with a deeper voice and a subtle flirt added to it.
The hours went by, slowly, adding weight to Vi’s nervousness. “Hey, don’t be nervous, you got this.” Ekko could be heard close by trying to calm Vi down. “...Remember the condoms though.” He jokingly said and Vi looked at him with a frowned face, making his smile disappear in an instant. “Dude! Stop! You’re making me more nervous than what I already am. Plus, its our first date...” Vi ended up the sentence lost in her thoughts, she suddenly imagined kissing Caitlyn furiously and pushing her into a bed, dripping sweat all over the place. Her face became red and she turned around, giving Ekko her back side trying to hide her burning cheeks.
“Yeaaaa... I don’t think the night will end up with a kiss on the cheek...” Ekko noticed, he knew what was happening inside his friend’s mind and probably on Caitlyn’s; the two women knew each other for a while now and both wanted the same thing, they were waiting for a moment like this for a long time. Vi looked at him but didn’t say anything, he understood the silent “shut up” she gave him. “A’ight, I’ll shut it.” Ekko replied putting both his hands up in the air as “giving up” and started to leave the place not without saying something first. “Good luck!” He said winking at her. “It’s almost time.” He reminded her and she noticed the hour. “Fuck! I have to hurry.” And Vi left in a hurry, running all her way to Caitlyn’s mansion.
A heavy doorbell sound radiated inside the mansion, Caitlyn opened the front door meeting a very fatigued Vi outside. “Sorry I’m late.” Vi blurted out not giving Caitlyn a chance to welcome her. “It’s completely fine, Vi, are you ok? You’re sweating like crazy.” Caitlyn answered disregarding completely that Vi was half an hour late to their date, she instead was worried if she had been recently into a fight and wounded somewhere. “I’m fine, I just took longer to arrive than expected.” Vi answered with a defeated smile, she was already fucking things up, she said in her mind. “Come, the food is going to get cold.” Caitlyn gifted her a smile and pulled her to the table, lacing her fingers into hers in the process.
It felt good to Vi being taken care of by Caitlyn, the woman was delicate and warm towards her in everything she did and said. Vi knew she was already kind, but since the date started she was more affectionate than normal (which she didn’t mind, obviously), it seemed there was a wall blocking Caitlyn from giving Vi all the affection she wanted to give her, and now the wall was gone.
“Were you always this affectionate towards me?” Vi asked out of nowhere, trying to take the conversation they had going into a different direction, she was curious about what Caitlyn felt towards her right at that moment. The question came as a surprise to Caitlyn, and even though she didn’t mind at all, she wasn’t going to answer her just yet.
“Before I answer your question, lets go somewhere first.” Caitlyn jumped off of her seat and grabbed Vi by her hand again, lacing her thin fingers softly into hers. Vi’s heart melted every time she did this, she loved the way Caitlyn was treating her, like she was some sort of precious treasure.
After spending some time walking through a maze behind the mansion’s garden, they arrived to some sort of secret arch entrance covered by vines. “Close your eyes.” Caitlyn said and Vi looked at her with a “really?” reaction that stole a small chuckle from the Kiramman lady. It looked a bit creepy in Vi’s perspective but she trusted Caitlyn with her life, so she closed her eyes and tightened her grip on Caitlyn’s hand a little bit. “Ok, I trust you.” Replied the red haired woman and Caitlyn smiled, pulling a blind Vi through the place and sitting her in some sort of cement bench. “Open your eyes.” Vi heard Caitlyn whisper and she opened her eyes slowly.
Vi’s eyes were met with a gorgeous view, the most beautiful she had ever seen in her life. It was some sort of hidden garden, with a pond in the middle filled with water flowers and colorful fishes. Even though they were in an open place there were some wooden structures covered with vines and beautiful flowers on top of them, making the place feel like a natural green house. The place was guarded with tall walls made of bushes and a huge tree across the other end, giving the ambient some sort of a relaxed feeling. There were lights everywhere illuminating the garden, but most of the illumination was thanks to some tiny and cute critters that glowed through the night.
“This is... so beautiful.” Vi’s mouth was agape, full of wonder, not knowing how to express how much she loved the place. “I’m glad you like it.” Caitlyn smiled, she gave a proud look to the garden. “I’ve been working on this garden since I became an enforcer, whenever I had the time, really. It was a difficult time for me back then; my mom didn’t approve of me doing that kind of work and my coworkers hated me without actually knowing me. Jayce tried to help me but didn’t know how to and I snapped at him, pushing him away for a while... So I used to spend countless hours fixing up this place apart of practicing my shooting, to keep my mind busy.” Vi noticed that Caitlyn’s eyes saddened while remembering the past, making her wish she was back then helping her instead of being inside a cell rotting.
“This place has helped me at my lowest and hopefully it will help you as well, whenever you need it.” Caitlyn kindly offered, she wanted her special place be Vi’s as well. “I-...I don’t even know what to say, cupcake. I appreciate this and everything you’ve done for me since we’ve met. I’ll be sure to visit whenever I need...” Vi locked eyes with Caitlyn and suddenly looked at her lips, her eyes lingered being tempted by them, but she controlled herself and looked away again. Caitlyn noticed but didn’t inquire about it, she didn’t want to pressure the red haired woman in any way.
“About what you asked at the dinner table...” Caitlyn suddenly remembered Vi’s question, the question she wanted to answer only at this place. “I’ve always liked you Vi, since the day we first met.” Caitlyn paused for a minute, looking straight into Vi’s eyes. “I tried not to be obvious about it though, since I was afraid you would leave and never come back to me.” The blue haired woman confessed, still a bit afraid her words would scare Vi away. “That is why before today, I didn’t show too much affection towards you in the way I really wanted but if you don’t like it I can...” “I love it.” Vi cut Caitlyn off in the middle of her sentence, she didn’t want Caitlyn getting the wrong idea off of her.
“I love the way you treat me Caitlyn, please don’t stop being the way you are with me.” Vi said with a small blush on her cheeks. Caitlyn’s lips parted in surprise and suddenly felt the urge to kiss Vi on the lips; her eyes darkened and with both hands she held Vi’s cheeks softly, pulling her face closer to her own. Their noses brushed lightly and they could feel their warm breaths mix with each other, but as soon as they did it started raining out of nowhere and with force, making them jump off of the bench and run back to the mansion.
The two women entered the mansion completely wet thanks to the sudden storm covering the city. They were both breathing heavily and while they were catching their breaths they remembered they almost kissed just a few minutes ago. Caitlyn smiled to herself, Vi had her weak and for a moment she couldn’t control her desire of tasting her lips. She wanted to lick Vi’s scar...
“Are you ok, cupcake? You should change to warm clothing.” Vi commented, trying to break the silence and stop both their minds from running, since she was also fantasizing about Caitlyn’s lips on her own. Damn rain, she said inside her mind, of all the times during the day it had to rain right at that moment.
“You mean we should change of clothing.” Caitlyn corrected her, she wasn’t going to let Vi catch a cold either. They ended up upstairs, inside Caitlyn’s room, so they could use the shower. “I will find you some clothes while you shower. Feel free to use any of my things, they’re yours as well.” Caitlyn left a confused Vi inside her huge bathroom. “How did I ended up in here.” Vi whispered to herself, remembering what Ekko said to her: “...I don’t think the night will end up with a kiss on the cheek...” Her cheeks turned red while dropping her clothes to the ground and jumping inside the shower, she couldn’t deny the warm water was good.
“Here are the clothes I found for you, I will leave them he...” Caitlyn entered the bathroom forgetting to knock beforehand and stopped on her tracks, when she saw a semi naked Vi drying herself up. “I’m so sorry, I should’ve knocked before entering.” Caitlyn turned around as fast as she could with the clothing still on her hands. “You’re fine.” Vi said with a smirk that Caitlyn wouldn’t be able to see. “I used to shower with other inmates all the time. I don’t mind you looking at me...” She lowered her voice into a sensual one, sneaking a hand into Caitlyn’s side caressing her arm lightly while she snatched the clothing in the process. “I- I will wait outside.” Caitlyn replied and left the bathroom so Vi could finish.
“Your turn.” Vi announced and Caitlyn almost ran to the bathroom, trying to hide her shame because of what happened a minute ago. Vi smiled because she knew she had a sudden effect over her and an evil thought crossed her mind, but she instantly dismissed it, she had to stop herself from making raw decisions.
A few minutes went by and it sounded that Caitlyn had finished her shower. Vi was biting her lower lip while sitting down on the bed, thinking if to leave already since her mind was running wild with all sort of thoughts. She heard the bathroom door open and her eyes met with Caitlyn’s, who was covered only with her towel and her skin looked still wet in most areas. Caitlyn’s eyes were narrowed down and her cheeks looked flushed. Vi could see drops of water traveling down her neck to her collar bones and that undeniably turned Vi on instantly. Caitlyn walked closer to the red haired woman that was sitting down on her bed and stood in front of her for a minute.
Vi swallowed thickly, she didn’t know what was going through Caitlyn’s mind. “Do you want to see me?...” Caitlyn asked with a voice filled with lust and that made Vi feel hotter than normal. The blue haired woman didn’t give the other one a chance to react when she suddenly dropped the towel down to the floor, revealing her perfectly toned body to hungry eyes. Vi’s eyes narrowed as well while she felt her body turn hot, she couldn’t take her eyes off of Caitlyn’s curves, she wanted more.
Vi stood up and closed the gap between them, their bodies almost touching. “What if I want to do more than seeing you?...” Vi’s voice turned into a raspy one, her desire taking a hold of her actions. “I wouldn’t object in the slightest.” Caitlyn answered pulling Vi’s face with both her hands on her cheeks again, this time a bit more hungrier than before, and this time their lips actually met. A moan left Caitlyn’s throat when she felt Vi’s soft lips onto hers and Vi followed along when she felt Caitlyn’s tongue enter her mouth unannounced and caressing hers. Vi instinctively grabbed Caitlyn by the waist, caressing her naked skin all the way to her back, enjoying touching her supple skin.
To be continued...

wait where is the au where vander & silco are still friends
So now I should be sleeping because I have a presentation tomorrow but where is the au where vander & silco are still friends but silco is still a mafia boss i feel there is a lot of potential in that as i imagine it like
Silco still has a bad eye because when one is a teenager does stupid things so the consequence of his actions ended up affecting his eye
Silco and Vander are still friends but the type, I hate the type of decisions you make but I've known you for too long to break the friendship and the truth is that I love you too much to do it
Benzo and Silco's relationship is the type of they hate each other but you're still my friend's friend so I'm going to stand you but the first shit you do I'm going to break your neck
Vi:she does not trust silco there is something about him that bothers her, she feels that he is constantly manipulating people and that it is dangerous so she always has an eye on him also it does not help that Powder like him very much
powder: she really like silco as a father figure since on one occasion vander asked silco to take care of her because he had to do something with the older kids and he did not want anything to happen to her so Silco took care of her for a couple of hours where he realized that Powder felt useless so he decided that Vander was a bad father and an idiot for letting her feel that way, so he was going to adopt her now.after that every time he could, he told her that she was a fantastic inventor and gave her art supplies and supplies for her traps and bombs, Vander is not happy with the last part
claggor and mylo: they think silco is a cool but scary guy, they also admire sevika a lot for being so strong (i don't know how to write about them maybe some ideas ???)
ekko: at being close to benzo he doesn't have a very good opinion of silco besides the fact that ekko has a crush with powder but she only talks about silco being the best guy in the world so less points for silco
I imagine things like the day that silco took care of powder for the first time when vander arrived to pick her up to take her home they had the following conversation
Vander: I came back, how is my daughter?
silco: she is no longer your daughter
vander: WHAT? WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED?
Silco: do you think I wouldn't realize the poor thing has self-esteem problems you're banned from parental duties, she's my daughter now

The Once & Future Queen Pt.14
Tumblr media
Storybrooke. Swan-Mills House. (With the family reunited, Ella and Henry watch Emma cradling her daughter in her arms by the fireplace. Although Maria is fast asleep, Emma is still whispering promises to never leave her again.) Ella: "Now that's what I call a happy ending." Henry: (Smiles:) "Yeah, it sure is. You know, word on the street is you made me a mix tape.” Ella: “Who told you? (Henry makes the lock and key motion to his mouth:) Hm, all right, I did.” Henry: “Well, I think I'm gonna need to see what's on it. I mean, you know, this could change everything.” Ella: “Well, then I better get it.” (Ella gets up to find the mix tape.) Regina: (Leans on the couch behind him:) “Aren’t you two adorable?” Henry: “Oh, hey Mom. What’s up?” Regina: “Not to interfere with whatever is going on between you two, but do you think you could look after Maria just a little longer?” Henry: “Sure. I mean she’s already sleeping so-” Regina: “Great. It’s just that Emma and I need to take a shower and we might be some time.” Henry: (Winces:) “Yeah, I really wish you hadn’t given me that image.” Emma: “Sorry, kid. We’ll try not to be too long.” Ella: (Returning with the tape:) “And if you believe that, you’ll believe anything.” (While Emma and Regina head for the stairs, Henry takes the tape from Ella and begins to read the label.) Henry: “Oh, ooh. Okay. We got some Beyonce... not a big surprise. Nice. Not a big surprise. Lauryn Hill. That's always a good choice.” Ella: “Mm.” Henry: “Oh, wow. Mikky Ekko, ‘Pull Me Down.’ Look at you! Now, that is an impressively deep cut.” (The rest of Henry’s appraisal is cut short when Ella leans in to kiss him.)
Tumblr media
The Land of Oz. Past. (The Wicked Witch dines alone.) Zelena: (Taking a bite of her food:) “Ugh. The salt, please.” (As one guard rushes to bring her the salt, another enters the room.) Guard: “Your Wickedness, there's a man here to see you. He says he needs help.” Zelena: (Sighs:) “Don't people remember I exiled that charlatan Wizard ages ago? Maybe it's time I did something to remind them. Well, send him in.” (The guards open the doors and a man walks through them.) Stanum: “Hello, Zelena. It's good to see you again.” Zelena: (Shaking her head:) “Do I know you?” Stanum: “Perhaps you'd know me better if I were holding a bird's nest.” Zelena: (Stands:) “Stanum.” Stanum: (Chuckles:) “It's been a long time. And I see I'm not the only one who's changed.” Zelena: “What are you doing here?” Stanum: (He approaches:) “I was hoping you'd help an old friend. I chopped down a tree belonging to the Wicked Witch of the North, and she punished me by giving me a terrible curse.” Zelena: “What? She turned your clothes to tin?” (Chuckles.) Stanum: “That's just it. It's not just my clothes. It's me. (Lifts his sleeve to reveal his arm turning to tin:) And it's spreading. And unless I find a new heart soon, there won't be any of me left.” Zelena: “You'll be a walking tin can. (Giggles:) Well, what am I supposed to do about any of this?” Stanum: “There's an enchanted object. The Crimson Heart. It's said to be hidden in the woods, and there's a horrible monster that guards it. I need your help to get it.” Zelena: “Mm. So, you get a heart. What do I get out of this little arrangement?” Stanum: “Whatever happened to you using your magic for good?” Zelena: “Well, it's as you said. I've changed. And using magic to be wicked is a lot more fun.” Stanum: “That may be, but I don't think being wicked is the reason you're not helping me. You act powerful, but I think you're really afraid.” Zelena: (Closes the distance between them:) “How dare you talk to me like that. Do you know who I am, what I can do?” Stanum: “Yes. I just don't have much to lose anymore. Hope you enjoy having dinner by yourself.” (Stanum turns and begins walking out of the room.) Zelena: “Guards! (The guards block Stanum’s path:) I'm not afraid of some monster in the woods. I'm the most powerful witch in all of Oz. Now let's get that heart, and I'll prove it.”

Storybrooke. Present. The Dragon's Lair. (Zelena sits at the bar beside Rumple, discussing Morgana and her chances of being redeemed.) Zelena: "I mean it's not beyond the realms of possibility. Look at me. Look at you." Rumplestiltskin: "Yes but the fact remains that Morgana has no one left to support her. It was only through Belle's love and my desire to truly change for my son that saved me. Much like the love you have for your charming daughter here." Robin: "Thanks." Zelena: "Actually it was my time spent with the latest incarnation of Robin Hood that made me think Morgana might not yet be a lost cause." Robin: "Yeah?" Zelena: "Mm. (Takes a drink:) You see Robin was still haunted by all the men he killed back when he was in the King's army. It was only when he met up with you and your Dad's old mates that Robin felt he could do something to turn his life around." Rumplestiltskin: "Which is exactly what I said, it's the love of others that ultimately leads you down the path of redemption and Morgana has no one." Robin: "Well, Guinevere gave Morgana a second chance. She might still be willing to see the best in Morgana?" Zelena: "It's worth a shot. Trouble is, Guinevere and I aren't exactly on speaking terms. Ever since I aided Arthur back in Camelot, she doesn't quite trust me." Rumplestiltskin: (Scoffs:) "Imagine that." Robin: "Regina and Emma know her pretty well. Or Snow White, you could ask her to smooth things over between you two? I know Snow's good friends with Lancelot." Zelena: (Considers:) "That's true... but I think I'd rather ask Regina and Emma for the favour. I did just save their arses back in the forest after all." (Zelena pulls out her phone and makes the call.) Swan-Mills House. Bathroom. (The top of Regina's phone is visible within the back pocket of her discarded jeans. Unfortunately as the phone begins to ring, the sound is muffled by all of Emma's clothes that are currently piled on top. Despite having successfully managed to rid themselves of their clothing, neither Regina or Emma have made it to the shower. Perched on the marble counter top, Emma has her legs wrapped around Regina's shoulders as the brunette devours every last drop of her essence. Leaning back against the bathroom mirror, Emma allows the powerful orgasm to wash over her completely. Rising slowly up to claim Emma's lips with her own, Regina enjoys the look of utter satisfaction upon her wife's face.) Regina: "Mm. Ready for that shower now?" Emma: "G-give me a minute. I don't think I can walk anywhere right now." Regina: (Whispered into Emma's ear:) "Then let me carry you." Emma: "You're not serious." Regina: "Feel my arms and you tell me. (Emma slides her hand from Regina's back to her bicep and gives it an experimental squeeze. When Emma emits a groan of desire:) I had to do something with all my excess energy while you were away. Turns out that kettle bell in the garage was useful after all." Emma: (Wrapping her legs tightly around Regina's waist:) "Then what are we waiting for? (Regina smiles and kisses her wife before lifting her into her arms and walking them to the shower:) Holy God, woman. I've never been so turned on in all my life." (Regina chuckles and steps into the shower. Any further conversation is lost under the sound of falling water.)

Morgana’s Hovel. (Agravaine strokes Morgana’s cheek as she lies unconscious where he placed her on the bed. He gets up and walks over to the fire while Morgana stirs, dreaming.) Spirit World. (Apparently on the brink of death, Morgana is able to walk through the spirit world, where she is surrounded by dozens of lost souls. Troubled by their incoherent moaning and wailing, Morgana is relieved to see a familiar face walking towards her through the crowd.) Morgana: “Sister!” Morgause: (Holding up her hand to stop Morgana coming any closer:) “It is a joy to see you, my Sister, but please, do not come any closer.” Morgana: “Why not?” Morgause: “Because it is not your time to join me. (Morgana nods and stands firm:) Your latest battle has left you suspended between worlds.” Morgana: “I fear all is lost, Morgause.” Morgause: “You must be strong. (Morgause lowers her hand and turns it palm upwards. A large silver coin appears within it:) Take this.” (Morgana steps forward to accept the coin.) Morgana: “What is it?” Morgause: “It is the Coin of Necromancy. It will allow you safe passage back to the world of the living. Once returned you must travel to see the Dochraid and she will guide you. (Noticing the lost souls closing in on them:) Go quickly, Sister. These ghouls would seek to keep you here forever.” Morgana’s Hovel. (Morgana wakes, wide eyed and terrified, and sits up. Agravaine looks over and sees her awake.) Agravaine: “Morgana! (He rushes to her side:) When I found you, you were unconscious in the woods. What happened to you? Morgana, who did this to you?” Morgana: “That doesn’t matter now.” (She stands and walks away from the bed.) Agravaine: “It doesn’t matter? I don’t understand.” Morgana: “What’s important is that I hide this place from prying eyes. A cloaking spell should do.”
Tumblr media
Agravaine: “All right. But then how will I be able to find you?” Morgana: “I shall use blood magic for the spell. You will be able to come and go as you did before. However, once it is in place I need to leave.” Agravaine: “No, my lady. Clearly it is not safe for you out there.” Morgana: “I will not sit and cower in my hovel, my lord. Besides, I have a new plan to reclaim Camelot as my own.” Enchanted Forest. Tavern. (Mulan and Ruby meet up with Tinker Bell and Tiger Lily.) Mulan: "So, things worked out pretty nicely for you two, huh?" Tinker Bell: (Holding Tiger Lily's hand:) "Yep, I'd say so." Mulan: "Are you still living in Neverland?" Tiger Lily: "We go back and visit occasionally, but Storybrooke's been our home for awhile now." Ruby: "They first arrived with Regina and Emma and the others when they returned from rescuing Henry. Granny swears by their herbal teas." Mulan: (Confused:) "Herbal teas?" Tinker Bell: "We run a little shop on Main Street. We sell crystals, herbal supplements and remedies." Tiger Lily: "With a 100% approval rating." Tinker Bell: "Yeah, because all of our products have a little fairy dust sprinkled in them. It drives Blue crazy." Mulan: (Chuckles:) "I'll bet." Tiger Lily: "She wasn't very pleased to see us when we first arrived. I think she felt a little threatened." Tinker Bell: "Oh she just needs to get that stick removed from her butt and enjoy herself." Tiger Lily: "She's still mad at us because some of her sisters left the convent. Turns out they took inspiration from us and realised they wanted more out of life." Tinker Bell: "Two became nurses and work at the hospital now." Mulan: "That's great. And er... (Nods to the hand holding:) things are obviously good between you as well?" Tinker Bell: (Smiling at Tiger Lily:) "Yeah, I'll say." Tiger Lily: (Chuckles:) "We started as mentor and mentee, then quickly became friends." Tinker Bell: "Then... well it took us awhile, but we finally realised our feelings for each other ran deeper than friendship and, well, here we are." Xena: (Entering with Gabrielle:) "You know, I hear the best relationships start out that way." (Everyone makes room at their table for Xena and Gabrielle, who have come to celebrate Mulan's return.)
Tumblr media
Gabrielle: (Hugging the warrior:) "It's good to have you back." Mulan: "It's good to be back." Xena: (As she and Mulan clasp forearms:) "You know, Gabrielle and I have some experience with alternate timelines." Ruby: (Smiles:) "Yeah, we know." Mulan: "It's one of our favourite episodes." (Before Gabrielle can reply to this, an arrow whistles through the air and lands in the middle of the table between them. Everyone turns to see the archer.) Merida: “Sorry to break up the welcome home party, but I needed your attention.” Xena: (Growling:) “There were less deadlier ways of getting it.” Merida: “Deadly. That’s a perfect word to describe what we’re facing right now. You see, I’ve just spent the better part of three hours trying to find Morgana’s hideout and I couldn’t. Which is strange because I was standing inside it just this morning.” Xena: “Wake us when you get to the interesting part.” Merida: “Obviously Morgana’s using her magic to make finding her impossible, which means she’s up to something.” Gabrielle: “That’s a fair assumption. What do you want us to do about it?” Merida: “I’m looking to put a team together. I say we hunt down Morgana and put her out of our misery.” Mulan: “Merida, no! If you go after Morgana without a plan you’re just asking to get killed.” Merida: “I’m tired of waiting! The longer we wait, the more likely Morgana is to come up with another scheme that puts us all in danger. I say it’s high time we do something about it once and for all. If you don’t want to join me, fine, you’ve earned that right. But I won’t just sit around and do nothing.” (Xena and Gabrielle look to each other.) Gabrielle: “We’ll join you.” Merida: “You will?” Xena: (Looks surprised at Gabrielle, then nods:) “Yeah. If only to stop you from getting killed. Besides, after what I did to her sister, I’m pretty sure I’m high on Morgana’s ‘to do’ list. Might as well make it easy for her.” Ruby: “That’s all well and good, but you still don’t have a way to counteract Morgana’s magic.” Merida: “Actually, I think I might know someone who’d be interested in joining us. She’s no fan of Morgana’s either. You coming?” (Xena and Gabrielle look to Ruby and the others then follow Merida out of the tavern.) Storybrooke. The Dragon's Lair. (Emma watches Snow White dote on Maria while she sits at the bar.) Emma: "You know I was the one who was gone for awhile, right?" (Emma points to the banner overhead which reads: Welcome Home Emma & Mulan. After much back and forth between Robin and Granny, it was decided to hold a joint celebration at the Dragon's Lair and Granny's. With the guests of honour promising to make an appearance at both venues, each restaurant is sure to turn a profit.) Snow White: "Of course, Emma, but you won't let me hold you half as long as Maria will. So I'm getting my cuddles from her on your behalf." Emma: (Smirks:) "Fine by me. That just means more hug time for my Dad." (Emma pulls David in for a hug and he wraps his arms around her tightly.) A Short Time Later. (David sits down to speak with the Reporter.) Reporter: "I saw that hug between you and Emma earlier, there looked to be a lot of emotions behind it." David: (Nods:) "You know, time is a funny thing. When you're happy it can fly by. When you're sad, even a week can seem like an eternity. I know what it's like to be separated from the ones I love. I literally slept through almost three decades of my daughter's life and the first ten years of Henry's. When the curse broke and I finally realised how much time had gone by, I was crushed. Every day since then, I've made a point of being present. Of living in the now. (Chuckles:) I admit that to some I may appear to be the typical hen-pecked husband, but I wouldn't have it any other way. I love Snow and would do anything to make her happy. Emma is the same. I know how important it was for her to not miss a day of Maria's life like she did with Henry. I see the joy that lights up Emma's face when she's surrounded by her family and recognise that in myself. So you asked me if there was a lot of emotion behind the hug we shared?" Reporter: "Seems I was right." David: (Smiles:) "Emma will never fully admit it, but I know how much that week or so away would've taken out of her. Some people say as the years go by that things like this get easier, but they never do. I'm just glad Emma's back and able to enjoy everything she's worked so hard for." Reporter: "That sounds like a very proud Papa talking?" David: "Oh yeah. I couldn't be more proud of Emma."

Back At The Bar. (Henry and Ella arrive.) Ella: “Hey guys. Nice turn out.” Emma: “Yeah, it’s not bad.” Henry: “Hey, Mom. You okay?” Regina: “Yeah, just overworked and underpaid.” Henry: “Well luckily you know the owner. (Nods to Robin:) If I were you I’d ask for a raise.” Regina: (Smiles:) “What can I get you?” Henry: “Two beers, and make it the good stuff, because we are celebrating.” Regina: “Celebrating?” Emma: “Uh, you mean other than my safe, heroic return?” Henry: “Well that too, of course.” Ella: “But also, we got the electrical system running on the food truck.” Regina and Emma: “Ah.” Regina: “Well, that is good news.” Ella: “I just wish I knew when we were actually gonna make some money.” Robin: (Cuts in:) “Why don't you come work for me?” Ella: “What?” Robin: “Well, I mean, why not? I can use the help. You know, this place has picked up quite a bit since Maleficent’s stopped scaring away half the customers. Plus, now that Emma’s back, I doubt Regina will be sticking around much longer.” Regina: (Smiles:) “Now that you mention it...” Robin: “See? So finish that drink and grab an apron.” Ella: “Robin, thank you.” Emma: “That's good. Right?” Ella: “Yeah, no, it's amazing.” (After a bit of non verbal communication between Emma and Henry - namely Emma prodding him - Henry turns to Ella.) Henry: “Uh, so I was thinking, maybe it's time you let me take you out on that date.” Ella: “The make up date, you mean?” Henry: “Yeah, have I apologised for that yet?” Ella: “Not today at least.” Henry: “Ah, well I am very sorry for standing you up like I did.” Ella: “Uh huh. Well I don’t feel like going to a restaurant. I wanna do something fun. What do you think?” Henry: “Absolutely. Fun I can do, no problem.” Ella: “Then I guess it’s a date.” Henry: “Great.” (Emma and Regina exchange knowing smiles just as Drizella enters the bar.) Emma: "Drizella. Nice of you to make an appearance." Regina: (Coldly:) "Uh, yeah, we’ve got a strict no-whiskey-for-witches policy." Drizella: (To Emma:) "She's still not talking to me? (Emma shrugs:) What if I said I know of a way to defeat Morgana?"
