song rec tag game!
thank you @ayixha for the tag! you’re an angel and i adore you!
rules: you can only repeat one artist and only one time, so we can all kind of spread new music to the people we tag. try to listen to at least one of the songs people rec here.
i’ll tag @hobiswitch, @guksheart, @yoonsgiggle, and @minghaoss!
one song you loved the first time you listened to it and never got tired of
don’t you worry child by shm. it is such a nostalgic track that was produced at the end of their legendary career-- literally, the last track they ever released as a trio. there’s so much emotion contained in it, but at the same time it is so uplifting that i can’t help but crave something older than myself. it is car rides to nowhere and staring at my bedroom ceiling and feeling my heart burst listening to that last drop.
one song you cry every time you listen or makes you emotional?
oh goodness, happy now by kygo. on a surface level, it sounds like a broken relationship coming to an end; however, it was written in memory of avicii after the late dj passed away. watching kygo talk about tim in interviews makes it clear how devastated he is, but how at the end of the day, he is prepared to move on while always taking a piece of avicii’s legacy with him. as a huge fan of both avicii and kygo, my heart breaks every time i hear this track.
one song that always makes you happy?
for sure, chilli by seventeen. at ode to you in newark, hip hop unit performed it and since seungcheol is on leave currently/was at the time, hansol took cheol’s verses along with his own. he rapped his way across the stage with so much confidence and passion, with a smile written clear across his face. my heart grew about fifty times with that performance, and i’ll never forget him looking directly at me in the pit right at the end of it. that, by the way, is the moment i realized i’m a hansol ult.
one song you would dedicate to your best friend and/or family member
i’m going to tweak this one a little bit: rather than dedicating a song to a best friend, i’d like to dedicate karma by ajr to my current therapist. i used to listen to this song after each session, having switched to a trauma therapist at my mentally lowest point. it’s a bit tongue-in-cheek, but it’s a reminder of the place that i started at and just how far i have come with her help. the song samples a line of another ajr song called 100 bad days, a reminder that this is not forever and you will persevere on beyond this feeling and this moment. i’m really proud of the progress i have made with the help of my therapist; i could not have done it without her.
one song with a production (the sounds, the beats, the mood) you love?
*cracks knuckles* i, an edm librarian, have aSCENDED WITH THIS QUESTION--
okay pun unintended but i would have to say good things fall apart or that’s why by illenium! anything on his ascend album is fantastically done; there is no other producer who can create the kind of drops that illenium does. they blend these organic sounds with a melodic bassline and meaningful lyrics; it’s so impressive to listen to. two truly legendary tracks in terms of production.
one song with perfect, amazing, outstanding lyrics?
going to the complete opposite end of the spectrum: i’d have to pick this girl by lij. it is his most popular song (of many equally wonderful other tracks), but for good reason. i’ve never heard wordplay quite like his rhymes, nor a song that so accurately sums up the love letters that i write in my heart because i’m too scared to pen them on paper.
you're my actuality, all my sincere apologies / you're my imperfections, but a figure of mythology / i wanna give you all of me, come fulfill this prophecy / attention's hard to catch, but you capture it so flawlessly
this world is kinda shitty, but you're pretty kind and witty / i'll write love songs to the moon and back; let's get out of this city / we got one hell of a something; yeah i'm smitten with your loving / i had nothing till you came along, but now i feel like i belong
one song you would recommend to anyone?
way back home by shaun. shaun is another underrated artist who deserves so much love! no matter who you are, i feel like this song appeals to an element of the human soul, some bit of summer nights and nostalgia and feeling like you could eat the world raw. it’s work shifts in midsummer and riding with the top of the car down and running in warm sand with the love of your life. i love this track so much.
one song that you don’t understand why you like it so much but you do anyway?
oof, this one goes to ball for me by post malone. i used to not be a big fan of it, but it grew on me over time. the other day, i walked through new york city to it and it had a Vibe to it that i’ll think of every time i listen to it in the future. i also despise nicki minaj, but her verse in this song slaps.
one song you think that people, in general, wouldn’t like but you do?
ooh i’d have to pick cinderella man by eminem! to be fair, i do associate this song with an old friend of mine; i probably wouldn’t like it if i didn’t have that association. it’s a bit on the heavy side; there are some sketchy lyrics that my mom might not approve of, but that’s eminem for you. this song is feeling very small but on top of the world all at once, black curls and familiar strangers in the middle of nowhere.
one song people normally like and you don’t like or hate?
the middle by zedd. i despise zedd’s newer music. his older music, more specifically, his true colors album, should be celebrated in a museum. his new music is disgustingly mainstream.
one song you would call a masterpiece
lights down low by max. no matter what remix (latin urban) or featured artist (gnash), it remains one of the most stunning songs i have ever heard. the fact that the artist wrote it to propose to his wife with is fucking adorable. the fact that the music video is their wedding video is even cuter. it is so raw and open and honest, no matter what artist remixes it or writes their own verse. it is literally an eternal masterpiece and i refuse to be convinced otherwise.
one song you listen to (last 30 days max) discovered and really liked it?
surprisingly, fire on fire by sam smith! there’s something about the raw invocation of love on this track that touches a piece of my heart. it is yin and yang, passion and quiet adoration, a soft string line and a dramatic background. i’m starting to really like sam smith’s music; it has a special place in my heart.
one song you listen to to get pumped like you want to tear down the fucking government or something?
okay, this one (unsurprisingly) goes to n.o by bts. i used to listen to this song and scream the lyrics at my bedroom wall when i was especially frustrated. if you’ve never had the experience, i recommend it.
#i'm genuinely surprised at how all over the place my music taste is with these recommends but#i hope you guys enjoy!!#thank you ayx for the tag i really enjoyed doing this!!#tag game#mutuals 💕#music recs#about

you said no one asks you about your biases so klj;alkdjfs here I am because also love when people talk about their biases!!! name your top five biases luna and why they are your biases
oh my god mini you’re enabling me ehrbjhgbek okay here we go look away folks this is gonna get annoying
edit: so i went back and slapped everything under the cut because oh my god i kept talking im so annoying
1. cha hakyeon/n of vixx
this man hits everything i love about a human being. he’s very motherly and very open about such things, he’s a true sassy diva who always wants the attention on him (i don’t blame him), he has a really big heart and always does things like donating to charity and the like, he has seen SO MANY ups and downs since vixx debuted in 2011 and honestly?? he deserves the world. he’s a really hard working leader who goes to all of his members solo activities to cheer them on and make sure they know he’s there supporting them. i have never seen anyone as beautiful and ethereal as cha hakyeon in my entire life. he’d be a wonderful dad, a perfect husband, and a caring friend. he’s loving, kind, and affectionate, and he’s the sweetest bean. though he gets bullied the most by everyone else. honestly, too, i know we don’t really know most idols’ sexuality but cha hakyeon imo is one of the strongest icons in terms of exploring sexuality and shattering gender expectations and i can’t wait for him to slay some more when he gets out of the military. also?? dancing king?? like pls stomp on me i love you. literally he’s just… his duality… he’s so soft and gentle as hakyeon but as n, he’s a fiery demon ready to go. either way he’s my number one and he will always be my number one and nothing will ever change that.
2. no minwoo of boyfriend
so honestly, boyfriend really is my #1 group ever, but with the lack of content for the past year or so (after star they disappeared again into japan) it’s been really hard :(( so lack of content causes me to ult different groups during hard times but!! yeah. minwoo is my tsundere baby, my maknae on top, my bratty baby boy. he’s the quiet one of boyfriend who kinda just wants to kill everyone and he’s donghyun’s Baby and no one (not even jeongmin) can touch him hejhegbre he’s honestly one of my biggest sources of sunshine. he’s honestly where my type started (dancer rapper) and i love him!! so much. he’s a talented little bean, who’s super great with what’s given to him and his dancing is no joke!! i hope he can capitalize on that one day. also!! he’s a part of 95 line (jo twins, him, ricky of teen top, sungjae of btob, hyuk of vixx, and i think a couple others idk) and i literally love that friend group so much ;;;; minwoo is honestly the #1 prettiest baby boy ever, he’s got so much love pent up inside of him but being the bratty tsun introvert he is, he doesn’t know how to show it so he just hbjehbrgj suffers. but that’s why he has mama donghyun to take care of him, idk man starship is just shitting on the talent they have, pls let boyfriend out of the korean basement.
3. song mingi of ateez (duh) putting my own gif of mingi bc its my fave gif
and here she goes, gonna rant and rave forever. okay so mingi, right? you all probably already know this but he’s literally the biggest and best source of sunshine and happiness in the whole wide world. literally when i first got into ateez i was like hongjoong!! he’s my bias!! and then idk what happened i accidentally floated around for so long and it wasn’t long after say my name that i was officially attacked by mingi and i claimed him, he is my sunshine and my everything. i really thought seonghwa would end up my bias if not hongjoong but then mingi came around with his full-body laugh. i honestly figured out mingi was my bias when i was making my original blog and i was like?? softmingis?? that works!! rather than any other url (though idk i did try a couple of san urls). ever since i solidified mingi as my bias, i’ve found countless things about him that i love. his seal claps when he tosses his whole body as he laughs, his deep af voice, how th*cc he is, the way he interacts with all of the members– honestly i love this whole big baby boy with every fiber of my being. one day i wanna hold his hand and see his smile and (it wont happen ever but) give him just a lil smoochie on the cheek. honestly, he’s just ;;; so perfect. he may be a year younger than me but idc he’s the most lovely human bean i’ve ever seen ;;;; i wanna give him the world.
4. kim hosung/lou of vav
listen it took me a while to get here and it’s a struggle to stay here as a lou biased bean (yes ace i’m looking at you) but honestly ;;; i’m kinda sorta maybe in l*ve with this man. he’s a whole softie even though normally i’d look at someone like him and go “wow he looks really intimidating” but like?? he’s a big softie! like he’s all tall and deep voiced but he’s (another) introverted bubs. he’s all mysterious tbh like he’s so boring he wears all black and white and gray clothing if he’s not in stage outfits ekrhbejgh but he’s like!! a cutie. he loves his girl group dances and he can be super quiet at times and really grumpy but like?? he’s so handsome. he’s a confident chaotic gay and we love our very own confident gays. idk man he’s literally so gorgeous just look at that gif up there– okay not to mention he’s such a salty guy like never tell him someone else is your bias he’ll be all pouty pouty grumble grumble. really he needs to be babied but he’s probably the best boyfriend material he’d be so sweet ;;;; idk man like?? i honestly think about him every night he deserves the world and he may not be the most loud and obnoxious person in vav (that’s ziu) but he’s the most charming and i love him to death ;;;
5. kim jaejoong of jyj
other than gd of big bang, i think?? jaejoong is my longest-running bias. he’s had my heart and soul for so long. other than being the king of japan while sm still has him under dumb laws, he’s done so much for me as a human being. he’s really shaped how i look at the world, truly. i remember there was a fansign he had where a blind girl came to him and said that she loved him, not for his looks (although he is gorgeous) but for his music, his lyrics, and his voice. and honestly watching him go through so much over the years, watching him be shaped by all good and bad things, has made me so happy. he’s grown as a person, he’s learned from mistakes and he’s had to walk down rough roads to get to where he is now. honestly someone asked me recently who my role model is and i think?? after some honest thinking? i’d have to say it’s him. i look up to him. i admire him, everything he’s done for everyone in his life and for himself. he’s a strong man. i love him, and i want to give him everything i can, even though i can hardly even provide for myself. he can be a grumpy old man at times but i think that’s just the relatable shit, you know? he’s a grumpy old man while a heart of gold and i owe him my life, especially because 5 or 6 years ago i was in a really bad slump and it was him, his music, that pulled me out of it.
okay so now that i’ve talked so much and took so long to answer this… the end! literally there are so many more people i could ramble about but those were the top 5 that came to mind who are always super prominent in my head like… aLWAYS
also if you read all of this… you guys are insane idk how you did it.

quick but important question.....why is lee jinki so precious....
i …….. well …… take a seat if your standing, or lay down if your sitting. get comfortable cause you’re in for a ride.
lee jinki aka onew, leader of the most legendary group shinee, is the most precious thing to ever set foot on this earth for many many many reasons. but i shall only name a few cause i’m not looking to publish a book series about my love for him …. as of yet. i also i have to do some of my uni assessments askjrgeklfs
well firstly, foremost, número uno, the most important thing: his V O I C E. this man has pipes. like i would be lying if his voice wasn’t what got me so far up his ass. i have a thing for vocalists fml. honestly tho his voice … it’s just a blessing. when i was like trying to get to know shinee as a whole, i knew taemin & jonghyun had solo albums so i was like i wonder if jinki has one?? so i did some searching and it turned out he doesn’t #justiceforjinki #jinkisoloalbum2k17 but i found his live stages, osts, covers and all that jazz (which are gifts sent from god himself). don’t get me wrong i love 5hinee songs they are all masterpieces, but having a whole song of just jinki singing …… it’s the reason i live tbh. like i’m not joking when i say all i listen to these days and until the day i die is his small amount of solo stuff. his voice is so so so versatile - it can go from being so strong and powerful singing opera to being the softest, most sweetest thing i’ve ever heard. he evokes so much emotion through singing alone. whenever i feel emo and want to cry i just listen to his voice and i’m suddenly in tears. i cried for a good 10mins after watching his rainy blue performance for the first time. also special shout out to jinki singing forever more (my current obsession). in summary lee jinki: vocal genius.
secondly: his smile. his eyes. HIS EYE SMILE!!!!!!!!!!!!! this mans smile ……. it makes my cold heart so warm inside afjlgrtlrkj. it can make him look both so beautiful and so squishy - both being my cause of death. i have a folder in my phone of just pictures of his smile that i look at whenever i feel anxious. (im about to sound really fucked up but) honestly his smile calms me so much???????? by just looking at his smile i can go from really anxious to so calm and comfortable. it’s honestly so amazing how much influence something small like a smile has over me???????? (also hIS LAUGH GURL I LOVE IT SO MUCH FHSJLGRJI)
thirdly: the icing on the cake *drumroll*- his personality. this man!!!!!!!!!! he is always so happy!!!!! bubbly!!!!!! caring!!!!!! loving!!!!!! funny!!!!!!!! and humble!!!!! his love for food, his habit of tripping/walking into things ….. just all the little things truly make his personality stand out on a whole other level. he is just super cool and im super lame :((
tbh i never thought jinki would become my bias in shinee, let alone my ult bias, but here i am loving such an amazing talented man. if you are thinking wow marie you gotta chill for like five mins and take a step back, i was telling myself the same thing not so long ago but with every passing day i fell more and more in love????? now my love for him is about to explode from within me!!!!! he is one of those people who grow on you as time goes by. the more you listen to his voice, stare at his smile, watch him be an a clumsy squishy human; the more you discover how precious he truly is. to me, he is the most precious thing to ever enter my life and i thank god every day for blessing me and every other shawol with his presence.
he is just so precious for this world ,, i love him so sosso so smso mcuhc, !!!!!!
#YALL IM CRYING AND LAUGHING AND SCREAMING ...... IM SO FAR UP HIS ASS I REALLY REALL Y LOVE HIM AND COULD KEEP ON GOING IN DETAIL BUT#I GOTTA STUDY AND SLEEp#ANGEL YOUR PROBS THINKING I SAID QUICK AND U GOT AN ESSAY IN RETURN IM SO SO SORRY I GOT CARRIED AWAY ADILJKGRSJGIRNK#I JUST REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY R E A L L Y LOVE LEE JINKI#long post#asks#mxci#onew#jinki#shinee

Music In My Life (#4)
It's July 27, 2018, and I haven't made a post in so long! So much has happened, but currently that is all that I want to get off my chest.
MIML is a music blog series by me (Sunshine) and my ongoing opinions and what's going on in my head with music. This issue of the series, I’ll touch on Odd Future, A$AP Mobb, and various Canadian artists from Toronto and Vancouver, as well as many others in the game. You'll see that I talk about these artists and also mention my very own opinions. I hope you enjoy reading reading this and please check out all the artists I mention because they're all so amazing and most of the time underrated.
ODD FUTURE
As I briefly mentioned before, I've been listening to Odd Future since they broke up, not the official break up but while before they did. Since then, I've played close attention to Tyler, the Creator, Hodgy Beats, Frank Ocean, and then also have grown to like Syd, tha Kid. I want to make a little update of these four and a little bit more.
TYLER, THE CREATOR
Potato Salad? Yes.
Okay, so since I've listened to Tyler, Answer has always been my favorite song. Answer showed the side of Tyler's true potential. Honestly, only during certain moods and times I was able to listen to his old music. I watched interviews and that's what made me a real fan; who he is, what he can do, and his message. You could tell from even way before that Tyler loved music, he loved sound. His knowledge and the way he described sounds clearly shows how much of a music genius he is.
Only recently, from the album FLOWERBOY, this album was able to make it into the mainstream I would say. Through his posts, updates on his life, you can also see how much you see him and A$AP Rocky have been together. I personally love A$AP Rocky, (hence why he also has a little segment on today's post). Anyways, their duo is truly amazing because I believe they're both so passionate about their work and genuine about it. In the scene, it's hard to tell if people would rather consider it work or passion, but I think that it's ideal that you can find a way to make money whilst doing what you love. I just took in, that it's one of the things that I've learned from Tyler when I was younger; something I actually apply in my own life and philosophy.
I'm really happy that more people can enjoy Tyler's work because since I was younger I knew if he rapped about "more relatable" or "real" things, it would be over. I think that he changed the rap game musically in production and versatility.
A$AP ROCKY
Crafty is how I would explain him. In his work you can see how much he puts into his craft. His sound, his visuals, you can see that there was a lot put into the planning. I've started to listen to him more out of my own curiosity because I would say that he's a storyteller and a visionary with the way he carries himself. He has style for sure, as he's also into fashion. He seems like the type of person to know what he's doing. His flow and delivery is smooth and it all just goes together when he tops it up with visuals. (Added: Praise the Lord (Da Shine) with Skepta & A$AP Forever (ft. Moby) are such good videos, and as a person in the field, I have much respect for the people behind them)
A lot of rappers are starting to name their music videos as visuals when in reality their videos have no story and is just a generic music video of them rapping in front of a camera- like there's no background plot or anything. I'm not saying it's a bad thing, but I feel like when you say it's a visual, at least for me, I'm expecting something like out of a movie.
JAZZ CARTIER
Literally just started to listen to his name album Fleurever and the minute I heard that little thing (listen to it to find out) right before he started rapping on the first song, maaaaan, I knew it was going to be beautiful. Listening to this song twice right now. This first song is actually so beautiful. That thing that happens right before he raps, I've always wanted to record a whole ride and feature it into my music (if I ever dip into it).
When he posted the album cover, I was so into it. I love that whole cover. never really listened to Jazz Cartier heavily but I thought about artists from Toronto who I should start to get into. So far, the second song, SECURITY, is also so wonderful. I love the background chords.
Something I noticed about the majority of rappers from Toronto is the use of piano chords. His type is very different but a lot of the typical Toronto rappers have it heavily incorporated in their music.
I can also see him making a song with Chicago artist Saba.
JV$
Theme Song is truly a summertime song. I think that his sound is unique, something about it sounds different than what you see featured. One thing I do want to point out are his little alibis(?) or whatever they're called and I think they somehow captivate the flow. He's not your typical Toronto rapper in my opinion.
The production in his music and videos are very well done, professional, and it shows how far he's going to go. I believe in the future, comparing Theme Song and Sidebag that he's going to grow and become a versatile artist.
(Here's the link to: Theme Song)
DENZEL CURRY
I started to get into him recently because of this whole story haha. Me and my friend I think are the only ones who really really listen to Xavier Wulf, and so Wulf used to be apart of Raider Klan, just like Denzel Curry. So we watch the video for ULT, anD MY, MY, MY. I was basically doing a commentary throughout the video. I remember saying something along the lines of "You know how these rappers are just in front of the camera posting up and pointing at the camera? This video is how it's supposed to be done. The way how the make the shot look full of people and show how much they look like a whole gang together, you know what I mean?". That video is honestly best described as legendary. I love the vibes and the whole feel. Later on, I listened to the lyrics and I was hooked as soon as he said "This is the wrath of Aquarius" because I'm also an Aquarius and I honestly have been doing more research because it's something I've always been curious about but never had the time to look into. Anyways, because of this, I got hooked and I'm glad that during the time I got hooked, I also got to look forward to his new album TA13OO.
One thing that really got my on board was the beginning of ULT. That piano captivated me into wanting to hear the rest of what the instrumental had to say. That's another little thing, as soon as I hear the beginning of the song, usually if I like it instantly I know that for a fact and it sticks. Listening to TA13OO right now and it sounds a little different from what I've heard from him so far. I rate it. SUMO l ZUMO bangs so hard. Related to Trippie Redd* to why I like it. Denzel Curry's flow? Holy!! This guy goes off. It reminds me of Xavier Wulf too. Both of them are able to switch up the flow flawlessly.
XXXTENTACION
Rest in peace.
Until now I still can't take in that he's gone. He still lives through his words and music. The following is the caption of the post I've made on my personal account. I just think that I should leave it here as well.
"I did a presentation about music and society for an isp last week . To conclude, especially in times where there's so much doing on, you become confused on how you should feel, music helps focus a feeling. Music brings humans together psychologically and physiologically, it's in our nature.
The passing of the late XXX, 'X', Jahseh D. Onfroy, has made a lot of controversial conversation throughout the media. Despite all the negative comments, many have come together in numbers, pulling all top 10 songs on Apple Music by XXXTentacion.
Respectfully, I don't condone wishing death on anybody because who am I to judge? I can only speak from what's based on factual information from a primary source I've inspected through myself.
A life was taken away, a life that made mistakes and that sinned just like everyone else, but it was also a life that had positive intentions and positive impact on others by creating coping methods to those who can relate in feeling.
At the end of the day, good or bad, opinions, perspectives and one's own take on somebody's life don't matter.
We should accept things as they are at a certain point because we can't change our fate, past, or legacy.
[I genuinely wish you rest in peace.]"
I'm speaking for myself when I say that it bothers me a lot that people forget how old he was. He was only 20 years old when he passed away. He had one interview when he was 19, and at this point in his life, he had a very large audience and had made a name for himself. He was honestly very successful in his amazing, but short-lived career. As Denzel Curry stated, X was a broken kid. If you know and remember his first interviews when he got out of prison, he never mentioned his age, but I do remember his story as well. That's when I also started to follow with him. I wanted to see where he would go, and I knew, (I have tweets from then) that he was going places because he was real with the media. I knew something was bound to come up, but he knew that of course. He believed in karma, he believed that he was going to grow, that he was going places. He knew himself well at a young age, I believe way before any of his fame came, he knew what was happening. I don't have an opinion on his previous cases because there's a lot of mishandled information, especially in the media.
TRIPPIE REDD
Can't lie, I underestimated him a lot. His feature on Fuck Love really put me on, but his other stuff is what made me really appreciate his music. His singing makes me feel how he feels, like how you feel inside and he's able to express it in his sound. Can’t wait for his debut album to come out.
YE ALI
He's a great artist and producer. Waiting on the soon-to-be-released Ye Ali and Chill.
CHE ECRU
Love his music. Waiting on his next project.
DRAKE
Honestly, Scorpion was good. His first songs on every album really set up the whole vibe. Starting with something great. I actually like how there's two sides to this album- it makes me think like I have the actual CD, old vibes. Btw, go back and listen to Fall For Your Type, major throwback.
AFTERTHEPARTY
I've started to listen to him for a few months now and I love the sound. I can only describe it as solid and fresh RnB. He’s a great artist, definitely on the come up if not already.
XAVIER WULF
East Memphis Maniac. My favourites off the album: 1. Chaos Castle (ft. SHWB) 2. Riding Shotgun in Japan (ft. KOHH) 3. Check It Out (Original and the remix).
His music has evolved, there's no denying that. What can I really say? There's a lot of people who have an opinion on how he's doing things now and we all know he doesn't care. I enjoy his old style, but I'm not saying he should go back to it. I respect when artists change because it means they're not in the same place any more- that they're not struggling with the problems they had before, that they're not stuck in their lives. The majority of the album is not my sound, maybe it'll grow on me eventually, but if not I can't say I didn't give it a try.
BONES
I like his softer wavy music. I've been getting into the whole screaming thing you know, I don't even know what's the proper name for that genre of rap(?). His verse on Chaos Castle though? Holy, they did an amazing job putting that song together.
SKEPTA
I’m going to take the time to listen to some of his tracks. Been getting a lot of features with different people, and by people I mean A$AP Rocky and Xavier Wulf. I would’ve never expected that.
A$AP MOB
Started listening to them. I love this collective, and how they present themselves.

CMDWN
Waiting on Atlanta 2.-- Nvm just checked and it's out-- oh, Pre-Release. I have to mention Atlanta, go (re-)listen to it... right now.
KILLY
He's really doing great. Had a tour in Europe. I'm glad to see him go off and do his thing. Surrender Your Soul!!
NAV
Few months back I saw him and 88GLAM live. It was super fun and I thought I was going to die because it was my first concert and the amount of space you have in non-existant. The album, NAV, is still top in my list. That and his older songs from his Soundcloud days.
As you can tell I love RnB, like the slower the song, the better for me. Don't get me wrong though, I do listen to hype tracks, but these ones are the ones I can listen to anytime of day.
-CLOSING-
It's been a long time that I haven't posted on this blog. Hopefully, this will be an ongoing consistent blog that others too can enjoy. I'll be making a mix or two in the next week and I'll also be posting updates on my own things going on. Apple Music and Soundcloud Go are totally worth it in my opinion. I think I'm going to have to buy an iPod or something that has like 1TB on it because my music literally lagged my phone to the point where my Photos app was crashing, so I'm going to have to work on that. There's much more I wanted to put into this post (even though it’s super long), and it's a super unedited and rough (draft(?)), but I wanted to put something out on this for my peace of mind.
As always, to whoever and whenever you are reading this post, thanks for reading music in my life. -Sunshine
Side note: I hope everyone is staying safe this summer, a lot has happened and especially those in Toronto, please be careful.
