Okay but like, I get that Oscar wants to win races and a wdc too and doesn't wanna play second fiddle but sit down boy? It's only his second year, he can't expect to be no.1 driver instantly. and I'm not saying Lando deserves the preferential treatment when he doesn't deliver but you do gotta give it to him that he's been carrying that team. And if he loses the wdc by a fine margin, he will resent Oscar for when the team didn't push team orders and rightly so.

But why should he sit down? What is the point of sitting down? Where does that get him in the long run? If Lando wins a championship then that’s one more hurdle Oscar has to overcome to get to being the number 1 driver.

If you want to be a champion you have to carry yourself like one from the first test in the car. Sit down and wait your turn is fine when you’re sure your turn will come but drivers can’t be. How long do you have the dominant car? How long until the next Max catches up to you? It could be Kimi. And then that’s your whole career gone because you thought you’d wait until Lando was done having his turn being number 1. “There will be time” is not a guarantee. Look at what happened to Red Bull. Fortunes turn on a dime.

It’s up to the team to decide who gets preferential treatment but no driver with an ounce of common sense will make that an easy choice if they have the talent to do better.

Oscar doesn’t seem like the kind of guy who moved from Australia to the UK alone as teenager to be A Good Teammate to Lando Norris. He seems like he came here to achieve what he can for himself. And Max and Lewis were called bad teammates because they cared more about winning but you know what, they won.

And this may be an unpopular opinion, but I don’t think McLaren is all that committed to Lando’s championship battle this year. Which is their decision to make, not Oscar’s.

My last post about nightmares prompted something. Couldn't sleep so I imagined a scene post ep102, but my writing is too rusty to turn it into a fic, and also English is not my first language, so here it is. Picture this:

Imogen wakes up because of a nightmare filled with memories of the last battle, filled with "She's gonna take me" and "she's not yours anymore". She noticed Laudna is not there. Her cage-styled add ons are on the floor. The other Bells Hells are scattered around sleeping. She goes up and go into the kitchen to see if she's there but it's empty. She is starting to panic a bit when she sees her from the window, sitting outside alone. So she goes and sit next to her. She asked if the tea wasn't enough (to calm her and let her sleep) and Laudna shake her head with a small weak smile. She says that Braius was snoring too loud and after a bit she adds that she's glad they found him today (hinting at him being the one who won the fight). She isn't looking Imogen in the eyes and is still in that shy, awkward, feel sorry moment after an episode like that. But Imogen, sweet soft Imogen, stays silent and let her choose to share her feelings or not, offering her warm presence. Laudna starts saying that it was scary watching them being hurt so badly and almost killed and not being able to stop or do something. That watching all of that and feeling powerless and out of control is awful. That things are going worse and worse and she's tired of being out of control, too weak to do anything about it. That she's at a point that she just want all of it to end, that's why she's welcoming the opportunity of that ritual, even tho she's not sure there's something powerful enough to make it work, not even her. She's just scared because now she has something to loose. At which point she looks Imogen in her eyes.

Imogen almost crumble, but takes her hand. She says Essek looks very powerful and she's sure he will help, and that she liked how committed he was right away to help her. She says he saw Laudna right away. Then she starts hitting at Laudna's low self esteem saying that they were 8 (essek too) against 1 and were having a hard time doing anything, while Laudna managed to get out of her 3 times, animated a statue and was fighting with them. That takes way more power and strength that she gives herself credit for. That Delilah manipulated her into thinking she's weak and she needs Delilah, but it's not. She is strong and powerful and has the biggest heart ever to endure all of this. And Imogen says she will stop the world if necessary, to make the ritual work and gave her the freedom she deserves.

Laudna stays silent for a bit, pondering on those words and maybe....maybe...starting to think that she's not weak indeed. But then she talks softly and says something else. She says that one thing she's afraid of about the ritual is that it will work but she will loose herself....not remembering anything before today...but she adds that thinking about it she's not afraid actually Because she's sure that she would fall in love with Imogen again.

And then they kiss.

That was pretty good. I enjoyed a lot of the McCoy scenes and the David and Saavik stuff. I like in the end credits they finally include Leonard Nimoy’s name because in the opening it would have been spoilers to have all the ‘as Spock’ actors names. Welp onto the next.

I love this moment between Omega and Echo and honestly I wish we got more of them. Echo saying why they joined, how this was where they fit and where they were needed. omg yes. writing the ending for new world was such a challenge (tragedy always is) but at the same time, it came very naturally. like that's the ending they deserved, and it was a beautiful one imo, especially with the hint that they loved each other despite everything, that the blue birds won, etc etc. it was predictable if you think about it, yet the way it played out it perhaps what made it so special and what made the readers (and you) appreciate it and i'm glad that i was able to do a good job!

Alright ep9 initial reaction

I’m so happy we had a lot of Nick and Sand scenes. Just 10/10 on representation for queer friendships. Their kiss had me rolling hitting my bed because they are just the sweetest. Who hasn’t kissed their other gay bestie during a break up then decided nahhhhh we are good.

Also Ray finding them in the middle of the night was priceless I was howling… Ray still hasn’t gotten his 3some I think Boston might have murdered him for sleeping with Nick tho.

I’m very glad with the Nick and Boston scenes made me feel warm and fuzzy I’ll be excited to talk about them later.

But we got the return of the Dramatic word again… Nick is extremely dramatic but he deserves to be he’s terribly in love with Boston. I’m so proud of him the entire episode great friend to Sand and a 10/10 good ex boyfriend to Boston even though he didn’t need to be. But as I said I’ll talk about that later.

I didn’t hate the Mew scenes this week kind of felt like we got to see him progress to the point of admitting he doesn’t like ray. Also think Top doing the right thing by Ray and Sand was a big leap in his character so gold star for both Mew and Top.

Now Ray he gets some frowning faces in general… following Nick to get to Sand is hella crazy. So much overstepping and he’s incredibly self absorbed. I do love him and I relate to obsessing about how people will think of me when I’m dead. Fantasying how it will be when I’m gone over and over. Clinging onto someone else’s dream because the dream for yourself extends 6 feet below. But it’s still not okay to fuck with sand literally or metaphorically. 😩 Ray needs a reality check and therapy so badly. He can’t acknowledge he already has won the grand prize.

Well the concept for BW2 goes something like this;

So Juniper and Ghetsis used to actually know each other in college, both were studying Pokemon research and such. Ghetsis saw Juniper as a friend and ally while Juniper saw him as an academic rival.

Eventually however there was a contest, this would be the big breakthrough for anybody to get their name out into the world, and Ghetsis won first place while Juniper won second. Ever since then she's had this personal vendetta against him, claiming he stole her spotlight and her role as a professor.

So she does what she thinks will prove herself to the world that she's better than him and that she should be professor and not him. With the assistance of Colress they both create the DNA Splicers, Juniper aiming to reconstruct the original dragon using sheer will and raw science.

"But Val, how is she going to get her hands on the dragons in the first place?" Glad you asked!

During the events of BW, N assists you in finding the legendary dragons and such as a fun post game side quest. Using the dream mist that both her and Colress were studying during the events of BW, they induce N into a coma and create copies of the dragons fucking Mewtwo style from his memories using the mist.

Obviously they have him held hostage (pokespe flashbacks) and Ghetsis is literally this close 🤏 to fucking crashing out. Alder has to remind him sometimes that "Hey, let's take a few steps back for a second here, you look like you're going to explode..."

Ghetsis may be one to preach that everybody deserves a chance to change who they are and that there's good in everybody's heart, but this one time he'll make an exception.

A few things to clarify just in case is that Ghetsis still has his injuries, though they happened in a somewhat sadder but much tamer way. The injury on his eye happened when his Deino evolved into a Zweilous and it bit into his eye out of freight, he forgave them obviously as this was an accident.

Though he didn't learn his lesson in the end because once it evolved into a Hydreigon and he tried to help it calm down because it was freaking out, he got completely blasted in the side by a dragon pulse <3

Also ye six kids, Anthea, Concordia, N, and the shadow triad! I have yet to give the shadows actual names yet, still working on that lol

latter match: LOVE.. i love the wackiness of latter matches, i loveed loved loved lucha in it i love how much they're dragging out the eventual moment lucha eats christiAN. i also liked that pac, yuta, and claudio won, very different and fun! 💫💫💫💫

gauntlet match: this was pretty fun too! was hoping jay white would show up but ALAS... i was really into christian running in for another chance at a belt because he CANNOT be beltless. it was awesome.. i love him.. AND LUCHA....AUGH...i kno there was some disappointment that hangman didn't win but i also think there's this shared idea that hangman is the main character of the show and deserves everything.. like no he dont! he's MEAN! and there's a story being told with him obviously, it wasnt this one. 💫💫

tony vs mariah: this shit was SO GOOD, i dont know why it was SO early in the show tho? they def should have switched slots with the tbs match...anyways it was pretty emotional , the way it PAINED toni to fight mariah.. she still loves her despite it all, and mariah feels nothing.. YES! 💫💫💫💫

jericho vs hook: why do we keep letting jericho have matches in the main show? why don't we zero hour this bitch and eliminate him once and for ALL...? dont get me started on hook.. he's just not good, he has NO juice. there's no reason to want him to win his belt besides the fact that his dad created it. and if its so important to uphold the family legacy then why not.. like make it important? why not have taz be like ' im gonna disown you if you lose this belt again' or something? there's NO stakes and hook suplexes like he's gonna leap out of the ring bc he has NO CONTROL CAUSE HE'S FUCKING 2 PPOUNDS BUT FIGHTS LIKE HE's JUICED. i DID like him throwing the cricket balls tho, that was really funNY. 💫.5

mjf vs ospreay: 90% of this match felt like we were in the middle of a commercial break... why were they on the ground so much. why where they SO WINDED.. very boring, ospreay's ADVERTISEMENT entrance STUNK as well. this whole feud just could have not happened and i think things would have been fine....see in the jericho and hook match i can at least name a moment i thought was fun .. not so much this match, just a whole DUD..glad we got to see danny again tho, i know he WILL SLAY. 💫

britt vs mercedes: i anticipated this one the most cause i wanted to see if mercedes could carry britt to a decent match.. but it seems when you're working with someone as limp as THE DENTIST , it's just impossible. i feel bad for mercedes because she deserves better than to have the DMD thrown onto her lap like that. im glad she retained but i dont think these two will have another feud for a while...TO THE PERFORMANCE CENTER BRITTANY!! 💫 ( all stars are for merecedes)

jack vs darby: UGHH i wanted to love this one but it was just too short! this felt like being edged and then just getting over with the rest.. everything that happened was fun and good but it all just hAPPENED AND THEN ENDED. i dont like darby at all, but it didnt make darby look too good. he wasnt the challenge that he made himself out to be.. i dont blame either men because i truly think they were just rushed for time , because that's what it felt like. i am glad jack retained tho, he deserves it! i rthink the moment where the crowd starts doing his lil emote with him over the pile of glass was beautiful. a nice contrast to where he was last year at this time! im looking forward to who challenges him next, and i hope we see him more on tv now. >_> 💫💫

swerve vs brian: AUGH......SO GOOOD... swerve looked very pretty tonight, i loved his hair cuffs! bryan as always, just knows how to play a crowd he's a sicko that lives off upsetting people and i think thts really great :-)!! im glad bryan won, but i cant help but feel so sad when seeing swerve on the ground like that.. i wish swerve could have retained but i think thats what makes the match really good. you pick someone to root for and you can root for either of them honestly, both are great.. im glad it was bryan he lost the belt to than hangman honestLY...deducting points for no shaka khan tho... 💫💫💫💫

You know, I’m really glad Ino got her happy ending.

She was using all her abilities in the war by herself, she lost her father and a few hours beforehand, she had a hand in killing her sensei.

I’m so glad she grew out of that Sasuke fan girl faze and found someone who willing stood by her and loved her.

I mean, Sasuke probably would treat Ino differently from how he treats Sakura, probably be around and love their child, but I just love SaiIno.

Ino really deserves everything she got and she got a better life that Sakura, who wears her husband’s clan symbol even tho Sasuke doesn’t wear it anymore.

And Sakura probably still thinks she won their rivalry.

I agree I think everyone, but Sakura fans are happy Ino got a happy ending.

Honestly I don't think Ino was much of a fangirl like after her history with Sakura was shown it felt to me that was more done to get a rise out of Sakura after she broke off their friendship. Like remember in the flashback Ino after finding out Sakura liked Sasuke Ino brushes it off and says he isn't that great. Now don't get me wrong Ino did like Sasuke, but as seen she had no issue stepping aside for Sakura when they were still friends so I feel the way Ino acts it partially to get back at Sakura and less being an actual fangirl.

Yes SaiIno is one of the best ships in the series and as you said she deserved a better life.
