Was walking down pink street when I got stopped by a barker who promised that all my problems could be solved..., long story short, anyone remember Aha water from the 80s? Well, they rebranded as AHA water (subtle, I know) and they''re back at it. I stalked the people who make it and they literally collected puddle water from the champion district to put in the concoction. I didn't really feel well after drinking it, but the overall experience was good because they totally tapped into that nostalgia. Overall a really solid scam. Stay safe out there kamurocho.

Had a guy bitch at me over keeping a character that was originally an adopt.

So for context, I made an adopt batch but there was one in particular that I really liked to the point I was considering keeping them, but I still wanted to see what kind of offers they'd get first. Put them up for offer for a full 15 days and go absolutely NO offers on them. Still liked them just as much as I did 15 days ago, so decided fuck it and I kept them.

Then this guy comes in here bitching that it wasn't fair of me to keep them because they were supposed to be an adopt and they wanted to buy them but now couldn't. Like bruh I literally MADE the character and I also disclosed on the profile while they were still open to offers that I was extremely tent and very greatly considering keeping them, but still wanted to see some offers. If you really wanted them that badly, why didn't you offer on them during those 15 days? If someone HAD offered and I liked the offer, I would've had no problem forking the character over, but nobody did. I think I have the right to decide that I want to keep the adopt.

There are many ways that the patriarchy hurts men, but even more that they actively benefit them. Ways that are primarily perpetuated by them.

Like there is supposed to be a little awareness for how men's mental health can be damaged by the patriarchy, but with the criticism of men now seen as a 'red flag' that's given free reign for men to take the 'we all benefit from abolishing the patriarchy' thing and turning it into rants that boil down to:

"Actually the reason men become violent bigoted entitled assholes is because we've been abandoned by society so actually misogyny is really women's fault when you think about it" and people just eat that shit up for some fucking reason and not realize how unhinged it actually is.

TERF ideology has given men a comfortable safe haven to convince themselves that they are oppressed for being men.

Feminism is for the benefit of all, but I stg men becoming more and more centered in feminist spaces while using TERF ideology as a foothold has set it all back by like 30 years.

I swear I cannot stand lazy ass people

My brother refuses to even fucking hold a ladder for me. I need to clean the gutters out and my brother is refusing to just hold the ladder in place because he says it will take like three hours to finish. I told him it would take at most an hour because I’m just doing one side of the house, but still no. The ground isn’t level or I wouldn’t even bother to ask him. I’ve done this before with his help I don’t understand why he thinks it will take hours it literally never has.

He said, “I’ve had to do it before and it took me three hours” buddy I’m not you. I’m sure two hours of that were you being terrified of being a foot off the ground. I use a ladder frequently at my job. I’m not afraid of that, I just don’t want it to fall on the uneven ground.

Also??? You’re a fucking adult??? Sometimes things have to get done and we have to put down the fucking computer to do them. Do you think I want to clean the gutters??? You think that’s what I want to do with my time off work??? No, but it has to get done.

I moved back in so I could finish college and lucked in to a good job. It’d be dumb for me to pay rent at an apartment instead of just continuing to pay some of the bills here while I pay off some of my student loans and save money for a downpayment on a house, but I swear I get so annoyed at my family that it hardly seems worth it some days.

After mom lost her leg I’ve been having to do almost everything by myself and that’s just so frustrating when their is a gd able bodied man older than me that also lives here and contributes less than 1/3 of what I do financially. Get a better job or get off your ass and hold a fucking ladder for me.

Stop bashing new fanfic writers for how they write.

Stop it. Period.

It's so fucking impolite to publicly bash someone for writing "out of character". The beauty of literature is that everyone can have their own interpretation and I'm sick and tired of seeing VERY PUBLIC posts complaining about someone's dialog or writing style.

You don't know if they're new to writing, you don't know if English isn't their first language, you don't know if they're a kid wanting to write fiction about their favorite characters. Their interpretation of characters may be different from your interpretation as well! You just don't know.

Not to mention- other writers you're NOT vague posting about will see it and might get self-conscious! Most fic writers write for the joy of writing, and nobody wants unsolicited critique or complaints about their work. I stg some people have gotten so entitled and mean recently and sometimes it genuinely makes me not want to write anymore. Stop being mean for the sake of being mean.
