he thinks again. gun is a selfish man. when he read the letter you gave him, he thinks to himself for a far longer period of time than what he would appreciate.

Y'all are doing a great service to my roommate by providing me an outlet for these that is not 'their dms at three in the morning'.

The Batman (2022) is probably the best Batman live action adaption to come out in my lifetime. This is because it's the first DC movie in years to not be embarrassed it's a Batman movie. There is this quaking insecurity that you can just taste from a lot of the superhero stuff that came out basically every DC movie except Wonder Woman, especially the Nolan Batman movies. That sweaty desire to be taken seriously is a weight around the necks of so many of the DC movies that keeps them from being fun, or inspiring, or saying something deeper. (Pretty much the only exception has been Wonder Woman which had was incredibly proud to be about Wonder Woman in a way you could feel on screen.)

But The Batman (2022) is not ashamed to be a Batman movie. It knows what it is and it understands what works about Batman- it digs into his motivations, his drive, and his shortcomings. The whole thing is a protracted examination of why simply being symbol of fear and vengeance is not good enough, and wont really help Gotham all that much. What Gotham needs is not a costumed badass punching it's problems into submission. What it needs is a light in the darkness, someone to inspire and fight for even their dirty, crime ridden, jungle of a city. He may not be as soft and kind as Superman, but he is someone with principles, and someone trying to do good for good's sake. Being Batman is not an ego trip, it's not even really a way to avoid therapy. It's Bruce's way of taking his pain and giving it meaning, taking the worst thing that ever happened to him and making it into the best thing that will ever happen to those he saves, and the movie shows that for it to work Bruce has to be more then someone who dressed up like a Batman to beat up criminals in back alleys. He has to stand for more. And by the end of the movie, he does.

SO I THINK THIS WONT HAPPEN BECAUSE ITS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE but does anyone remember this interview where Jojo said he wanted to make an Sex and The City-esque series about the dating life of a guy with Gun Attaphan as the lead because it haunts me daily. if i believed in a god, this would be among my nightly prayers. especially after watching Love in the Big City, i just kept thinking how a Thai series like this would eat!!! my first choice would not be GMMTV to be honest (i want bigger budget!!!) but then, i would trust Jojo with a story like this. at least i would love to see his version. its obvious Jojo's other not BL series (3 Will Be Free, Mama Gogo, The Warp Effect, Dirty Laundry etc.) are more widely beloved than his BLs (Never Let Me Go, Only Friends). so maybe he would be more successful doing something that doesnt have to adhere to branded pairs and it just could be messy and queer as much as he can make it without the shipper fans nitpicking at everything. which, OKAY, i dont know if Gun fans are that blasé but i assume they are as he does work outside of BL and like... c'mon he is such a great actor, put him next to a pot of flowers and he could create chemistry.

Jojo also said he would like to work with Fourth... which is yes. YES, please. look, yeah Jojo sometimes disappoints but to me, he is still one of the most exciting directors in Thai BL. he has a VERY distinct style and i love him for it. its exciting to see which new actor will get the Jojo touch each year. he is such a actor's director and they always shine a different way through his lens. I just want to see what Jojo would make out of Fourth and Gun, both great talents!

some days i think there is no way AouBoom wont have main leads this year and other days my trust issues kick in... nevertheless, i think we wont be seeing them separated but i am asking the court, haven't they done their time in the side couple prison? didnt they pay their dues? if the court agrees, let's get them out of the uni uniforms and put them into something darker. something higher stakes, desperate love, fans nail biting every week, some new actors as the side couple etc.... Regarding your Nosferatu post, Eggers is known for being fairly homophobic in how he portrays gay relationships. The lighthouse represented homosexuality as this repressed, awful thing and I don't wanna see gayness be turned into evil vampires like some sort of evil desire. I don't see him doing it anyways bc he's quite rigid in his own beliefs (including stuff about race too)

On that front I'm afraid the deck is already a little stacked in the 'icky gay goings-on' department if Knock really is already long-distance hot for Orlok; but then, so is Ellen, and there's a Random Naked Nubile Girl on a Horse scene, and just a lot of general full-on horniness in many directions. I hesitate to clutch pearls over the presence of fucked up sexuality everywhere--especially in the context of something trying to be classically gothic, and double especially in a climate where So Much of media is increasingly wont to be self-censored or sanitized into blandness. I am very fine with Fucked Up and Perverse happenings on principle. My monsterfucker badge is worn proudly, as is my 'Let Gothic Horror Be Fucked Up' badge.

Yeah, the fact that the only non-straight hint I can think of in his track record is the almost-kiss dance scene in The Lighthouse (plus a side of Dafoe's character comparing Pattinson's eyes to a lady's) is not a fantastic sign for el gee bee tee elements. Yet even while the obvious 'lolll Thomas gets cucked because he doesn't satisfy Ellen she's 2 hot and goth 4 u loser' hints in the trailer and implications in the script leak indicate him just going straight to full Francis fanficification with Ellen and Orlok, I don't think it's explicitly a homophobic product. There may be some quote or info floating around somewhere that stamps Eggers as more staunchly anti-gay--and if so, please point me to it--but I think in this case it just adds up to 1) Elbowing Thomas out of the way for his OTP and 2) Horniness for everyone, not just the girls

😂honestly I can see the random hook up because I personally think that Bridget was really in love with Ella but when Ella ditched her at castle coming it wasn’t just the prank that hurt her but also the fact she lost a friend and even a crush🤷‍♀️.

As for the consequences, I think the prank does happen but it’s not Ella who does it anymore (I’m basing this off of ‘get your hands dirty’). We know Ella doesn’t like royalty and we see why but watching how Ella reacted to Chloe when she asked about Red being bad and what to do it seems like at the end of the song Ella had also sort of had a change in perspective (this is just my theory). I do though think that Ella slowly becomes friends with some of the villains whether that’s Uliana’s crew or a different group but that she also never really gets with Charming (if she does I would imagine he gets pulled to the dark side or he is well 💀). To continue on this idea that they definitely changed something and not in a good way I think Chloe doesn’t necessarily fail to exist but she gets treated like Cinderella and Chad is well Chad but mainly lived with his grandparents. I believe that Ella remembers Chloe and as Chloe got older she realized she looked more and more like the girl she went to school with and so she definitely starts treating her different. As for Bridget yeah she’s nicer but something tells me she also knows something (mind you I don’t remember how the looking glass works if it’s just for people of the royal bloodline or not but while Bridget was looking for the cook book even with headphones on it wouldn’t surprise me if she had taken them off briefly and listened to what Red and Chloe were talking about or even looked at it after they left). Another theory that they won’t do but would be fun is if they actually brought the teen Bridget and Ella from the past back and now have to find a way to take them back before their moms disappear. Or there’s another favorite theory (there’s so many I can’t decide which I like more) but one theory is that Uma was actually supposed to be Uliana’s daughter but was given to Ursula when Uliana was well I’m assuming beheaded by the QoH and while Uma is not 100% different she might definitely have some differences and Uliana is still alive and kicking. The last theory is that when they got back Chloe’s life changes so much that she either fails to exist or is no longer the Chloe that Red got to know.

Wow that was a lot of rambling but there are so many ways the writers can and could have taken this but those are my theories and some that I actually sort of liked.

For my own story I’m definitely using this idea that Ella is now the villain and Chloe is truly in her Cinderella era and the OC will have to be like her Prince Charming (but not for long 👀) because I’m using the idea of shapeshifters and how magic that alters the physical or mental state of shifters just doesn’t work (so like memory wiping or turning someone into a pig or toad just doesn’t work on them but this is only when they are wearing a crystal necklace or ring or something) so the OC sort of knows that something is off. And then we proceed to all three going back in time again and having to figure out what really happened to the QoH and what happened to Ella🙂.

Ok so my current theory is that there isn’t actually a cop on schlatt’s side and that wil told q that to make him distrust his coworkers so that he’d be isolated and cut off from their insight and it would cause tensions which would stress q out further, all of this making him easier to manipulate.

Even if there is actually a dirty cop in the precinct, telling q is a risk where not telling him would allow the “spy” to operate unsuspected and telling q would cause him to keep info from the others including the spy, so either way i believe wil telling q about it that was further manipulation.

Now if there is a spy, purpled seems like the most obvious to us right now (but im growing more familiar with comma stories so i wont lay down any specific prediction yet) not just bc he asked q about wil and quackity himself started suspecting him. In earlier chapters it mentioned that he’s worked mob cases before and is known for them, so there’s not too much question of how he ended up within the vicinity of one of schlatt’s operations. AND in canon, purpled is the one among the las nevadas crew that plots to betray and take down quackity. Again im not making any accusations yet, but so far, the evidence is pointing to purpled more than any of the others.

In purpled’s defense however, q suddenly being super successful in the schlatt case around the same time he started talking to wil is something most people could notice if they were paying attention, which purpled probably was since q had asked him for some help with the case before.

Perhaps bc he’s familiar with these types of cases, he understands the danger q is in by being successful and/or by working with wil, maybe he understands that working with wil puts WIL in danger which would jeopardize the case if wil is really helping q.

Furthermore, if there is a cop helping schlatt, wil is putting himself in a lot of danger with schlatt by “helping” quackity, even if it is just a distraction from a much bigger operation.

This brings me to wil, God, wil, if he’s trying to keep q distracted, then the reason he gave q the tip about the drug bust is to gain q’s trust by giving him something real and to satisfy him for a while, like giving a dog a bone to chew on.

But considering schlatt’s distaste for wil’s “games” i doubt he’ll be happy if he finds out that it happened bc of wil.

Also the office shenanigans are both super fun to read as they are and are an interesting juxtaposition with the high stakes and tension surrounding quackity’s and wil’s storylines (i’d say its like something watching brooklyn nine-nine side-by-side with breaking bad but ive never seen b99 and i never finished breaking bad)

I still have a lot of crazy symptoms... Still can smell and taste something isn't right inside my body... Still feel dizzy and disoriented. Still feel like my body is being squashed and smashed like a wet bath towel being rung out. AND NOW THE ADDITION OF..... Even when it is hot my body still feels cold (like those old people who always have it super hot in their house and think its comfortable) yet at the same time my skin feels hot.

Ive been considering selling stuff ive been holding on to and paying a private dr. I really don't want to go to the regular doctors ive been going to anymore.... I feel like if i pay a private one and tell them what I went through they are more likely to take me seriously.. I feel like they would look at what I tell them to look at and look for....

Being terrorized while i was feeling that way I had no idea what was happening.. They would use that stuff and yell they gave me a brain aneurysm, so twice I went to the hospital saying that in a panic. I thought it was a heart attack when i was turning colors and feeling like i was going to pass out so I kept going for that. They said they put something in my drink and it thought i was poisoned so i said i was drugged at a club once so they would look for toxic stuff. After I tried explaining to a dr I needed them to go over me with special attention because of the things being used they acted like i was crazy. So now that I have a better understanding they wont listen the way they did at first. Now I seem like a crazy person going 10 times in a few months saying thing are wrong with me. All of that is in my records. I went like 30 times in 2 years to the er thinking i as going to die and it went away after a short time.

People in the past had made me feel they could stop you from getting medical care. I understand now why they do things like that. They make you look like you are crazy on purpose so people will not pay attention to you. they make you keep running to drs and they don't find what you say is wrong so they dismiss you more in the future. It is the same as when they acted like they were certain people and we tied to act like those people to get information then the others involved blamed us for everything or said they couldn't let people like us be involved.

This was deliberate.

These are kind of people that force people to do things by hurting them. People cant make it stop and will do anything not to go through that many times. Tactics like that are to get people out of the way, get them in trouble, or justify doing things to them.

I should have known everything they do is going to be some kind of dirty trick. When you are scared and in a panic its hard to know or understand. Even in a group you wont likely understand. You have to go through it and have the experience than look back and understand what you went through.

By the time you get it... its to late...

I should have known what was involved and being used ,but when they tell you its poison you think it is if you don't know. They laugh and play games as they do it so you are pancaked and that's what you think is wrong. They make you believe other people are involved so you don't conciser it to all be those kind of things.

I have some choices to make with my drs as to who im going to go to but i feel horrible...

If something like what I was involved in happens they should have people that work with you and help you if you tell people instead they act like you are insane, like it couldn't happen, like you are the suspect, anything but help.... They should put equipment at your house to see if what you say is true not ignore you or put you in a mental facility.

If I would have gotten a position they would have looked into it. As a regular person I got to see first hand what other victims of these of these things go through and that you are own your own.

Without the person there who use to protect me... Well when he died and left this problem to me I thought I could get the rest of the answers... I had no idea what I was in for. I didn't know what he knew. He wasn't there to tell me or save me all the time anymore. I had no choice but to try to do it on my own, it didn't just go away.

There are sick people in this world you don't have to do anything, they decide if they want you to be their prey.. then that's it... its all a fun game to them... I guess it was his fault too for wanting to save me....

its such an experience getting over something and having to get used to saying words that previously felt dirty or forbidden, but they never actually were, and now you have to come to terms with that

this applies to several situations, but my personal situation is about my trauma. im doing my best to cope with it and try and get over it with what little resources i have, and while i definitely have work to do, ive come a long way i like to think

and part of that is, you guessed it, saying words that felt forbidden. like the word itself 'trigger', i used to feel utterly ridiculous saying it in a serious context because the internet had warped the word to a joke or to mean 'offended' or 'angry' or just generally upset, but that is NOT what that means. i mean, i guess i cant entirely fault people for not understanding the weight of it, i didnt get how bad it was until i had triggers of my own. i used to think it did mean people were just upset about something and didnt want to hear about it. now i know that it is so much more than that.

but also words i need to get used to saying or hearing are triggers themselves. ive been unable to escape hearing about my triggers because theyre brought up a lot nowadays anyway, and also im not willing to tell people what they are for various reasons so people didnt exactly know to avoid them around me. the thing is, is that once youre ready to do it, exposure therapy can help a lot. for the longest time, i wasnt willing to do it, but it was happening to me anyway because of how often people would bring it up, and i desperately tried to block it out to little success.

not to mention how much i cling to still secretly hoping my triggers wont stop hurting because it makes what i went through feel real, like im not just making up how much it hurt, just to feel special. but just because i dont freeze like a deer in the headlights anymore (and i mean that literally) doesnt mean it didnt hurt and change my whole life.

now that im opening myself up to exposure, it means potentially talking about it if i feel ready to, which means i might have to actually say the words that feel forbidden. it feels ridiculous to feel scared to say a normal word.

whats wild about it is that these are words that i used to say with love and confidence, then i avoided them entirely, and now im trying to come back to them. ill never say most of them the same way i used to, but maybe one or two ill find some sort of joy in again, though definitely not the same level as before

what sucks is not really having anyone to talk about it to. im sitting here hesitating to type certain words and i cant just go to a friend and be like 'how silly is it that i feel scared to write out the word _____ lol?'

it feels like if i type it out that something bad will happen, or that somehow itll hurt me again. but its just a word. its not like it was the words that did this to me. and yet they have power, power that i need to take away from them. maybe one day i can type them and not hesitate.

i dont have a point, i just wanted to talk about that. its just silly to me that im sitting here on my phone being scared to type these completely non-harmful words that other people probably dont even think twice about.

ive actually discussed "onesided" rikai->terra with my sister before and its hilarious. essentially terra thinking that rikai is in love with him and hes SO confident about it that it confuses rikai into thinking... do i love terra? ... and i dont know which would be funnier, if he DID actually end up having feelings for terra, or if he DIDNT.

rikasaru is also something that can be so personal. i enjoy the ship unironically but it can also be hilarious. i dont think either of them would ever stop being in denial about it if they had feelings for each other.

for the purposes of the funny ship, fumiya and iori works platonically or romantically (maybe even onesided fumiya->iori?! so many possibilities). i mean weve seen in canon how willing fumiya is to take advantage of ioris... whole deal. and quite frankly i think theres a lot of comedic potential there.
