#look i KNOW he’s SO bad at maintaining confidentiality #but i dont think it’s bc he’s a dumbass #he just forgets that he promised he wouldn’t say anything until it’s already out #and he made all those tapes of himself when he was a kid #so his whole life is basically tied to the radio show #i also kinda think it’s commentary on social media #there’s been a lot of pent up grief and other emotions in cecil #which can lead to overbroadcasting your life sometimes in order to cope #that or nobody actually listens to the show LMAO #so cecil just talks into thin air inconsequentially #cecil palmer #welcome to night vale #wtnv
