1. How long have you been creating KakaIru fanworks?

For around 9 months now. Which makes no sense, because I’ve been shipping them for SO LONG, but I used to be a fandom lurker only. Then the pandemic came around, I started binge watching Naruto again and my otp called to me, like a siren call or something. Not sure why it took me this long to actually draw them, but I don’t see myself stopping anytime soon.

2. What are you working on right now?

I’m working on a small comic for halloween and also on some collabs with friends.

3. What is your favourite trope to create for?

I’m an absolute sucker for found family, and also a firm believer that Kakashi and Iruka are both disaster idiots (as artsies once said, I believe they are a dumpster fire and a dumpster fire that is marginally better disguised), so I guess those two mixed are my favourite tropes to draw for.

4. Which of your creations is your favourite, and why?

The drawings I did for Bring Dog Treats, my Kakairu Big Bang 2021 piece with my partner in crime kageillusionz. They’re my favourite because not only did I have so much fun working on them with Kage, but they were my first “big art project” after I was forced to quit art for some years for health related reasons. So they are very special to me!

5. Do you have any WIPs you’re excited about?

Excited for the collabs I’m doing with friends, I hope you enjoy those when they come around!

6. Do you have any original characters? If so, tell us about them!

I have some original characters with friends from the good old tegaki-e days. It was this online drawing board where there were several different roleplay groups people could join in with an original character, and it was very fun to draw out all our ideas together. The end result was like a comic made by several people. As per my usual stuff, it was all more to the silly side.

7. What was your hardest piece to create, and why?

Probably this drawing I did for Laz for the Umino Hours server 90 minutes to gift event. I guess all of my 90 minutes to gift were the trickiest to create because I had to rush to finish but I still wanted it to be something that would be nice enough to gift to someone. I usually play around a lot with colours and ideas before I decide on something, so not having as much time for that made it very challenging for me.

8. Do you have any favourite scenes from something you’ve created?

I love the dumbass daydreaming duo I did for kageillusionz. (here and here).They both look so stupid, I remember having a lot of fun as I tried to make it as over the top shoujo as I could.

9. Where does your inspiration come from?

Mainly from random conversations and jokes with friends. We’re always making up new scenarios and that always inspires me to draw. Also memes, I’ve done so many meme redraws, especially the brazilian ones. Twitter is usually where I’ll post these. If I see a stupid idea, you can be sure I’ll draw it, even if I’m the only one who will enjoy it. I’m a very self-indulgent artist.

10. Which of your creations is the most meaningful to you, and why?

Oh I accidentally answered this already, didn’t I? As I mentioned before, all the Kakairu Big Bang 2021 drawings mean a lot to me, but also this fanart of Iruka I made for Callaina’s fic So Golden. This was the first time in years that I got to sit down to draw and make a finished, more polished drawing that wasn’t a quick sketch. I always look fondly at it, it was a big milestone for me.

ZFAW’s commitment to supporting and celebrating fan content creators in the Zutara fandom, we’re going to be rolling out a series of interviews with well-known and widely-beloved content creators over the next few weeks. We’ve got artists and fanfiction authors, some names you recognize as well as a few phenomenal up-and-coming talents, and we can’t wait for you to meet them all!

1. Tell us about how you came to ship Zutara. What does this ship mean to you? The first season of Avatar: The Last Airbender came out when I was about fourteen, so my preferences were already pretty set when it came to the fictional couples I liked (for reference, I was a really big Star Wars fan so Han and Leia were pretty formative to my life). It sounds kind of weird to say, but Zutara really just slotted right into the spot already waiting to accept it, right in the "literal opposites attract, enemies-to-lovers, oh no they bicker all the time please kiss" spot, but that's exactly what happened. A few measly years later, I rewatched the show in college, just after it had ended, and as an adult, I found myself more drawn to the dramatic parallels, the play between two characters who are so old before their time in a way that other characters in the show aren’t. I’ve always loved constructed family tropes, and the “mom friend/dad friend” thing is a real draw to me. So I guess the short answer is because I’m enemies-to-lovers trash. 2. What inspires you to create Zutara fanworks?

As a semi-professional writer, I’ve learned to get my inspiration from media I enjoy in a non-work context: so far, that’s been punk rock, Norwegian folktales, 80’s teen comedies, and Jane Austen novels. I love lots of other stuff too (like Dungeons & Dragons and urban fantasy and superhero comics) so I don’t think I’m ever going to run out of stuff to take inspiration from! 3. Be selfish - if you could request one fanwork based on your own art/fanfic, what would it be? What would you absolutely love to see someone create? I’ve had people send me some pieces of fanart and every time it is a joy and a delight. If I could ask for anything, it would probably be more Suki and Toph. I know! Weird choice! But writing those two is pretty much what I live for — Zutara is almost an afterthought, oops. I like to think “Jock Best Friend Suki” is one of my greatest contributions to this world/fandom and that’s the fanart that would just make my life. 4. Any words for people who are new to the fandom and/or nervous about sharing their work for the first time? I didn’t write my first fanfic until I was twenty-six. I came into this fandom so late and I did so with an incredibly self-indulgent work that I wrote entirely for me. And it went over so much better than I’d ever expected! Zutara fans are super nice. I think we get a crummy reputation from the old days of the shipping wars, but I’ve never actually experienced anything terrible. Everyone I’ve ever interacted with has been incredibly nice and really understanding about my bullshit and the support is amazing. They’re good people and they were super nice to an old lady like me who had no idea what she was doing. 5. What is your favorite Zutara-related thing you’ve made and why is it special to you? I wish I could say I love all my children the same, but Twist Me to the Left is my favorite. My father has this saying about music: “You have your whole life to make your first album, and then you have six months to make the second.” Twist Me to the Left was the reason I got into writing fic and so there’s something special about it for me that none of the other things I’ve written quite have. I feel especially bad saying that because it's not the thing that’s gotten me the most notice, but it’s the thing that’s closest to my heart and includes the most elements that were a personal influence on my life. Also, it’s got metalhead Toph which I find both generally awesome and a great joke. 6. What’s an idea for a fanwork that you have but haven’t gotten around to making?

Well, I just started my Jane Austen influenced fic, which is difficult to write and I think difficult to read (sorry), so that’s taking up my fandom brain right now. But I do really want to do a Much Ado About Noting fic so maybe when I burn myself out trying to sound like my girl Jane, I’ll do that instead. I’ve also been planning a cyberpunk AU but it has a mask aspect that, in the current climate of the world, feels … a little too soon.

7. Are you participating in ZFAW? If so, want to give us a hint as to your plans?

I would like to participate, certainly! (It’s right at the end of NaNoWriMo so I may not be at my best, but I’d really like to participate anyway, let’s see if I can do it without burning myself out.) However! I actually don’t read nearly as much fic as one would expect and so what I would really love are some recommendations! If anyone has art or writing they want me to look at, send that shit right on over to me so I can get some inspiration! I like very slow burns and AUs, but seriously, people, hook me up with whatever you’ve got.

A blue-haired woman who wore a long sky blue cape walked over to the juniors�� to her juniors I mean.

“Miss Mona and her juniors will be joining us in our expeditions and training sessions from now on.” ‒Eula explained, the Spindrift Sorceress of Teyvat International. She is also one of the Top 3 students!

“Good afternoon to you all, I am Miss Mona Megistus and these are my juniors. I hope we all get along.” ‒Mona Megistus, an Astrological type of sorceress. She was formerly Eula’s classmate and is also one of the Top 3 students in the academia.

The young students mingled with each other. Big grins on their faces as most of them made new friends.

“Oh youth,” Mona sighed with a small smile, “It feels like I was just their age yesterday… everything goes by with just a blur.”

“We’re still young Mona,” Eula chuckled lightly, a hand on Mona’s shoulder as she looked over their students mingling with each other. “But you aren’t wrong about how everything goes by with a blur though.”

"What're you reading there Xingqiu?" Chongyun, one of Eula's juniors, asked his amber-eyed friend.

Xingqiu, one of Mona's juniors, flinched. "It's nothing really! Haha!" he laughed, hiding the book behind him.

Eula caught a glimpse of the book, "How to Not Get Friendzoned by Kaeya Alberich…" she muttered. "Haha! How cute of the boy."

"Weird. Sir Kaeya usually never hands those kinds of books to children… But oh well, they do them I guess." Mona says.

"It was just like the time you wanted to confess to me~" Eula teased, a sly grin in her face.

Flustered and flushed pink, Mona tried to avoid the teasing. "W-We're already together anyways…" She turns around still warm in the cheeks, "Ahem! Let’s get going, we need to arrive at the training house by sunset.”

“Haha! Alright, alright." Eula chuckled, a sweet smile gracing her face, making Mona fall for her even more.

…

“Get ready to hike kids! We’re walking to the training house!” The Eula announced loudly, getting the attention of all the juniors.

“Yes, Miss Eula!” The juniors replied, fixing their cloaks and weapons. The juniors wore cloaks to cover themselves up from the freezing cold. They brought their own weapons for them to practice with when they reach the training house.

And with that, they all hiked up a hill, some whispering, and chatting as they hiked.

…

Eula and Mona chatted about the academia’s requirements and its upcoming events. While Chongyun and Xingqiu talked about how they admire their seniors, Qiqi and Diona, who are both Eula’s students, drank hot chocolate (made by Eula of course) as they hiked beside each other. Even Mimi and Barbara chatted together!

…

Eula sighs, "I'm thankful for Ganyu and Ayaka. They made this small training camp possible."

"Truly. Even Tartaglia wanted to help… How strange." Mona voiced out.

"I… I forgot we have senior exams coming up…" The blue-haired woman realized, sweatdropping.

"We still have a week before it though. We can still study in that time since this small training camp of ours will just last for 3 days." Mona reminded her girlfriend, closing the book that was in her hands.

Eula frowned, "You are right… but I just can't help but worry."

...

Chongyun really admires Eula. He admires how she can carry one of the heaviest staffs of the academia, he admires how she can make spells with just a snap of her fingers… He admires her to the point he wants to be just like her!

"Miss Eula carries one of the heaviest staffs in the academia! I heard from the other seniors no one else can wield it but her!" Chongyun rambles on quietly, "I want to be just like Miss Eula when I grow up! Yup! That's a goal!"

While Xingqiu listens to him ramble on about all that, his eyes stick to the not-so-really novel on "How to Not Get Friendzoned" by Kaeya Alberich...

Xingqiu may not show it, but he looks up to Mona a lot. And if I say a lot, I mean a lot . He even wishes to read the books she reads!

'Miss Mona writes right…? I wonder what her published books are… I'll go buy them later!'

...

"Barbara you're so cool! I heard many great things about you!" Mimi, Mona's junior, pestered her fellow junior, Barbara.

"Ah! U-Um thank you for the compliment! I'm not really that cool, as you put it…" Barbara softly thanked her.

"Oh don't be like that! I think— No ! I just know you are an amazing and cool person!" Mimi exclaimed, stars in her eyes as she held Barbara's hands close.

Barbara, flustered, she blurted out a "Thank you!" as she hugged Mimi.

…

Moments later…

“We’re almost there…” Mona mutters with a smile as she looked around the forest they entered.

"We're almost near, yes!" Mimi exclaimed, a grin on her face.

As they walked deeper into the forest, Chongyun got startled.

“Ah! So much water!” Chongyun shouts, frightened at the wet trees and the water dripping onto his cloak.

“Calm your horses, Chongyun. This is part of the entrance to the training house.” Eula explained, waving her staff in front of her.

With that, ice starts to envelop the water and turn into solid, making a pathway to a door.

Eula and Mona lead the way to the training house as the juniors follow from behind.

Somewhere in my #tutorials or #art tips tag there should be something about hands I did a while ago? But honestly anon the only real tip I can give you is to use a lot of references and draw them a lot, which sounds useless but it’s really how I’m learning how to draw them orz

How I feel about this character

I make jokes about how like “oh he’s alright” because he’s an asshat but I’ll be frank with you all: I love him, a lot. When I first started creating FSF I was like okay this guy is hilarious so I’m gonna keep an eye on him but then when I started reading the manga it became.. harder to ignore and so when I continued with the FSF light novels the more I realized okay yeah, I find him at least interesting so I might as well support him. And then it turned to okay yeah I find him hot and now he’s just completely and utterly ruined my taste in anime boys so thanks! The more I learn about him in real life the more I love him, too. He really just loved life - food, sex, writing, all of it. And this is translated into how he is in FSF. And I love it. I’m glad not only one of his works but he’s in fate. I’m happy he got redesigned, as well. I love him, a lot. I will defend this man.

My non-romantic OTP for this character

Anyone who he wrote about (Robin, Nero, Marie Antoinette, Caesar), Cleopatra, Scheherazade and the rest of the authors, he’s a dad, the rest of the French servants but Fuck off Napoleon don’t interact. Richard. John and the other members of the Clan. I don’t know yet if he’d love or hate the Prelatis so we’ll see. 

My unpopular opinion about this character

how can I have an unpopular opinion when I am the only person talking about fate Dumas. How. I guess stop making predatory non-con fanart of him and Hans you fucks.

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon.

My Pride, My Joy, My love: The “Original Character” Trend

I remember when I was enjoying my life as a Middle schooler (over here we call it grade 6) I enjoyed a lot of the internet during that time. I became a fan of Minecraft and enjoyed all the modern cartoons at the time. Me and my friends were very into Five Nights at Freddy’s and during that time period is where a lot of good late childhood memories formed for me.  All these media has made me into the creative person I am today, despite my career choice of the moment, I’m very proud as an artist. Part of that pride is my creativity to make OCs (Original Characters). Like many other artists growing up to these trends, I would have all these ideas and draw them out in my notebook. Whenever I get home from school, I would finish my assignments just so I have the freetime to play Doll Dress up games to create stories and characters (This was such a highlight of my life tbh and im not ashamed!! DOLL DIVINE MY LOVE!)  Getting to play with these games and playing around with MS Paint was my humble beginnings of becoming an artist online (mygash i sound like im famous but im not XD) 

A confession, the first time I made my own original characters is when I was still dreaming about playing Minecraft [ yes, I dreamt about playing Minecraft one day because my dad won’t let me play it and we had to buy it heheh silly but I was real ecstatic when I was able to play it on mobile-- but playing it on PC, I was super happy like- this is literally a dream come true for me y’all, I can’t express my happiness ] I would create what my Minecraft skin would look like, I never really told anyone about that. But later on I slowly created a story behind these characters for my own pleasure and fantasy. It feels so wonderful like I’m back to my kid self being in my own world.

This eventually became something I got stuck with until now, creating original characters with their own storylines but never really posting them about it. I made Gemsonas (Steven Universe fan characters), Five Nights at Freddy OCs, Yandere Simulator, and many more until they became their own original thing for me.

I can’t really count how many characters I have made through playing online games but they we’re mostly revolved around my personality and my friends. As I matured I realized how cringey that is hahah I guess I don’t want to look back at my personality back then even though nothing much change hehe. Though I still like how some of the characters I have made reflect what I am and what I wanted to be you know; that goes for almost any character ever made by someone similar to me, a character to reflect them in a way or project something they want to be someday. Nowadays I make characters that reflect more to the stories I create so it would be more fitting for them. My love for Original Character making came from a place where I dream of being famous (who doesn’t dream about that right?) I thought the ideas I have made were unique and at the time not have been thought of. As much as I want to share these ideas there was no where I shared these but between friends and myself, mostly just myself. I tried wattpad but somehow I never got to finish the stories. I tried Deviantart but right when I think I want to post I refuse to because I know the internet is a harsh place and my skills were not as extraordinary like the people I support. So ever since then, as much as I crave the attention, I never really pushed to get it. Instead all these characters I made are for my own pleasure. And I think that’s okay, I did these art for myself and it makes me super happy to come up with ideas and concepts. It shows how alive I am. It also worked in my favor because I improved as an artist too. I’m not the only one who feels this of course but I don’t know, this creative part of me is very strong. I was really happy when I started my Instagram, I don’t have many followers but I don’t care, the internet showed me it’s okay to just share whatever you want. Though I still feel anxious whenever I post, I mean there isn’t anything wrong with the post but what if someone saw it and many more. And like I use the hashtags to get notice but also not too much to get really noticed. I contradict myself a lot with that hahaha but I’m slowly just not caring about it. You can say this trend was my comfort and coping mechanism, I do enjoy self-insert stories and projecting my self into these characters. So far that’s how much I can express my love for doing this trend. The original character trend is still as strong as ever and it’s more developed hahah. I admire those artists that indulge a lot to their characters even without a piece of media to fully express their world. That’s why I still fancy this topic a lot. I can talk about my original characters for a whole week but that sounds super annoying tho no? HAHAHA Anyway I am proud of this part of me and maybe I can express that part of me more soon when I feel it’s right. Right now I’m doing fanart but then it will be fanworks then original stuff. I have a bunch of original content made but it may take a long time to present it well. My love and joy for this is boundless ahahah that’s all I can say Extra: The pics are from my gamer childhood (I am best dress up gamer!!!) and ofc the characters I made throughout that time. Not gonna lie but looking at the old art I made as a gr6 is S U P E R  C R I N G E. I want to share more, believe when I say I have TONS of characters but I think I will regret every moment once I scroll my own page in the future HAHAHA.

Do you ever start shipping something and then it becomes like the fandom OTP and people start forcing it into all their works even though it is completely irrelevant to the story ((ie angsty death sad fic between 2 other separate characters, but guess what!! I know chars A just died and B is planning their death, but these C and D, 2 15-year-olds, are TOTALLY dating now.)) and then you just stop shopping them? Because that’s how I’m ended up with HeroAca.

Issue is that I’ve never been much of a shipper in any fandom I’ve been in -- at least, not a romantic shipper. Friendship and dysfunctional shipper, yes. But I have seen that happen, and it can become a major turn-off, especially if there are too many forced ships in a work. Typically I quit if what you said above happens: the main characters are totally having problems, but everyone else is young and dating and clearly dating the love of the remainder of their life. Yeah, no, there’s no consequences to it so why waste time on it.

Fanart and fanfiction is meant to be self-indulgent. But even that can make you sick if there’s way too many forced elements. Keep pitching your non-shippy ideas to artists and writers, too, if you yourself don’t produce the content: I can tell you we’re way more interested in adopting those to create.

I’m sorry I’m getting to this so late! I wanted to get to this ask sooner but I just got so busy… 

But I’m glad you liked the first Disney AU list I wrote out ^^ I do feel like they can be rambling from my end, but hey, if you don’t mind listening, I don’t mind sharing!

I tried making this list with different ships and stuff, for the sake of variety. But if you want to hear about a specific ship or certain AU setting, just let me know! I can go on and on about these things.

Taichi + Hikari with a slight hint of Taiyama. - Lilo and Stich AU

Taichi, the overprotective brother who is trying so hard to be an adult as quick as possible in order to take care of his sister. However Hikari is having trouble adjusting and fitting in with her surroundings as there are so many changes happening. Taichi feels bad that Hikari is struggling to make friends and stuff, so they go to get a cat (because they used to have Miko) and…it’s tailmon! 

Because I think it works so well!  Tailmon, coming into their lives as Hikari wishes for a guardian angel and instead gets a ‘monster’ that has trust issues and has a lot of destructive power??? I think it’d fit well! Especially when it came down to Hikari bonding with Tailmon. and the two of them having a relationship unlike anything else. 

lol the ‘slight’ hint of Taiyama comes from the idea that Taichi and Yamato used to attend school together and that their siblings are the same age so they know each other well. But I won’t lie. it’s entirely because I think it’d be funny if Yamato was trying to impress Taichi, only for it to go badly and then he feels embarrssed and Hikari just goes, ‘It’s okay. Onii-chan likes your butt. and he thinks your hair is fancy. I know because I read his diary’. 

Taichi, Yamato, Koushiro -Three Cabelleros AU

This makes no utter sense other than it’s what I like XD. Growing up, Three Cabelleros was my favorite movie, I love it to death, I watched it more than anything else. And don’t test me on how well I know the songs lolYamato is Donald Duck. The guy just celebrating his birthday but winds up losing his temper multiple times yelling ‘WHATS THE BIG IDEA!!!’ over and over again as his birthday is full to the brim with craziness. 

Koushiro is José. He just shows up randomly going ‘you haven’t been here before? Well let’s go! You got so much you need to learn!’’ and winds up dragging Yamato all over the place just to teach him a thing or two. Plus Koushiro looks good in a bow tie so why the fuck not. Taichi is Panchito. In this case, Yamato is probably about to eat his birthday cake only to have Taichi jump out of it screaming and hollering and shooting off a bunch of guns before grabbing Yamato and Koushiro and yelling “WE’RE THREE GAY CABELLEROS!” 

lol its completely impractical. but just imagining them singing the three cabelleros song together makes me smile.

Aristocats-Daisuke/Takeru

You know. The main reason why I wanted this kind of AU for this pairing is because I think it’d be so cute???

Like. Takeru, as the ‘duchess’. Someone who comes from a lavious lifestyle and then gets thrown out of his cozy life and is forced to have to make due with the skin on his back. 

Daisuke, the ‘alley cat’, who only approaches Takeru at first because he thinks it’d be funny. 

At first Daisuke tries to show Takeru the ‘ropes’ but Daisuke himself is a little bit of klutz and Takeru isn’t so dainty as he may appear to be. And the two wind up learning a lot about each other as Takeru tries to find his way back home. 

Idk I’m a sucker for daikerus where its about the two of them coming from polar backgrounds and them reaching a middle ground. Add a dash of social classes, cuddling ontop of the rooftops under the moonlight and walking along the edge of a dribbling stream and I’m happy!

Taichi/Jyou -Rescuers

Taichi is a field operative for a rescue task force. Because of his reputation and success record, he’s often sought for. And during one of his mission briefings a lot of people are scrambling to be his partner…

And then he chooses Jyou! A simpleton who isn’t actually part of the agency! Why?! Because Taichi “needs a plain guy who’s not gonna bother him!” Jyou doesn’t want to go but Taichi drags him along. And all of a sudden Jyou’s safe and routine lifestyle is swapped with near death experiences, crossing massive hazardous terrains and wishing that Taichi didn’t have to opt for the most stunt crazy airplane pilot every time. 

Through some miracle, their first mission together is successful. And when it’s all over Jyou is just absolutely exhausted and kinda happy that it’s all over. 

But Taichi took such a liking to Jyou that when he jumps outta his mission detail and grabs onto Jyou’s arm going "guess who’s now gonna be my new partner from this point onward!!” and Jyou silently weeps as he wishes his pleasant common life goodbye. 

Yamato/Mimi- Hercules

Again another AU that is extremely self indulgent on my end. Ever since I saw all of those Hades/Persphone AU fanarts concerning this ship I can’t help but associate Mimato with anything remotely close to Greek Mythos lmaoBut I gotta admit. Yamato, having one goal ingrained in his head, so much so that he is really socially awkward and is especially bad at dealing with Mimi because she just always plays the devil’s advocate?? I just picture that scene where Mimi is leaning in trying to be sexy and then Yamato just pinches her dress strap back up on her shoulder lol. Hercules is another favorite Disney movie of mine. They’d so be cute in this setting. 

Sora/Mimi -Tarzan

I think this is just me drifting off into dreamland but like hear me out. just. let me explain. 

So there’s a study on gorillas and stuff, and the team of researchers is Koushiro, Jyou, Mimi and Taichi. Jyou is actually there as like a medical professional, Koushiro is the one manning the research. Taichi can be the bodyguard or something he’s not a scientist. And Mimi is a botanist who was brought along cause she works under the same grant as Koushiro.

Now they are there doing their research. However while studying gorilla packs and stuff, they start noticing oddities which they have trouble explaining. Which get Koushiro up in a tizzy even if the rest of them aren’t too focused about it. 

One day, Mimi like wakes up early, and starts walking around to the stream nearby. While at the water front, she sees a colorful flower near her. When she talks toward it, she finds another flower–same type slightly different in color. She starts following them down the river before actually noticing they were placed there, they aren’t naturally growing, which makes her want to see who’s placing them down. At the end is a bunch of beautiful flowers but, these ones are special. Mimi specifically remembers seeing the laid out flowers earlier in her expedition but didn’t have time to draw and take notes about it cause Taichi was yip yapping about the sun going down and how they had to head back to camp and stuff. 

Mimi of course likes the flowers, but then starts wondering why they were there. When she heads back to camp and Koushiro has been going on and on about his theories about how the gorilla pack they are studying must be raising something that’s not a gorilla (lol jyou is just feigning interest at this rate and taichi is trying to go back to bed) Mimi can only think about the flowers so she actually starts siding with Koushiro and wants to learn more about what’s going on because her gut feeling is telling her that this is important. 

However, as they try to research this it doesn’t yield the best results. Whatever is going on, its elusive to them. And its hard to keep track of. It gets to the point where Jyou reminds everyone *why* they are all there and stuff. And even Koushiro is forced to resign his theories to focus on their jobs. 

And Mimi feels oddly upset by this and takes away from camp to cool off (Taichi offered to go with her, but Mimi refused wanting to be alone). While she’s sitting by herself feeling really defeated without knowing why, she finds another flower. This time she’s like driven to find out *why* she’s being given these gifts. (as she’s now convinced this is no accident) and then runs after this trail and finds!!! Sora!!!! :D Who has been out in the wilderness ever since she was young and was raised by the gorillas and stuff. Sora tries to run but Mimi manages to approach her. (Mainly cause Sora is both curious and feels calm around Mimi) The two of them are about to make contact before Taichi comes swinging at foliage with a machete yelling out Mimi’s name (cause she hasn’t come back to camp) which scares Sora and gets Mimi mad. Then of course the rest of this AU is spent on them trying to ‘find’ Sora. Even though Sora is kinda only comfortable around Mimi. At first its just the two of them, learning things about each other slowly  and then its all disney magic fromm there LOL

annnndddd. I think that’s enough for one list. lol I’m sorry I tend to get caught up when I start thinking of these AUs. I hope that you enjoyed some of them though! Thank you for your patience and for the ask!
