I really wish we got more of Stan and Sparky in the actual show- I mean it just makes sense, yet we don't even see him in background. I need a Charlie Brown-Snoopy dynamic from them and I need it now.

Earlier today, I watched a video by TheTake on YouTube, exploring and deconstructing the “Nice Guy” trope in popular media.
Basically, the trope explained the Nice Guy trope and how toxic it really is, devaluing the girl’s feelings in a relationship and promoting male entitlement. Now, I’ve heard many people in this fandom complain that Adrien Agreste is the embodiment of this trope. The underdog sweet boy, pining after a girl who has rejected his feelings multiple times, persisting in his romantic advances towards her despite her making her disinterest clear.
While I must admit that Adrien does check many of the boxes for the standard Nice Guy, I quickly remembered who else in the show, besides him, checks out many of the same boxes, and perhaps a few more than him. Someone who exhibits many of the same behaviors of the Nice Guy, but whose less-than-healthy attitude of love is often overlooked and/or pardoned by most of the fandom, while they bash Adrien for similar behaviors.
Can you guess who it is?
It’s Marinette Dupain-Cheng.
I know what you’re thinking. How dare I accuse Marinette of such a toxic mindset! She’s the hero of our story! She fights off the bitches that are bad for Adrien and yet he doesn’t even give her the love she deserves! Adrien is the one who should consider himself lucky that she adores him! Hashtag Marinette Deserves Better!
But you see that right there? That, my friends, is what makes Marinette Dupain-Cheng, in my opinion, more of a Nice Guy than Adrien Agreste.
The whole purpose of the Nice Guy trope is to make us root for the underdog. Because who doesn’t love a good story where the loser that everyone expected to fail spectacularly ends up winning it all in magnificent fashion? Almost every movie has it’s underdog. With sports movies, it’s the unathletic wimp with a skinny, small, and/or weak body. In high school movies, it’s the outcast weird kid who’s been ostracized by the popular crowd for their unusual interests and/or attitude. In romantic comedies, the underdog is the hopelessly romantic Nice Guy who adores the girl and worships her like a goddess, as opposed to the cooler, more aloof, more sociotially successful man who takes her for granted. And since the cardinal rule of feel-good films is that underdog must end up getting what he’s been wanting throughout the whole movie, the movie then directs the story narrative to favor the Nice Guy’s desires, manipulating the audience to cheer him on and, in the process, blatantly dismiss all his unhealthy behaviors and obsessive traits, like stalking the object of his affections or trying to edge out any competition he has.
Sound familiar? That’s because that’s exactly what many Marinette stans who are also Adrien haters do.
I’m not saying Marinette is a bad person, but as far as Nice Guys go, she has shown us many red flags. She often stalks Adrien, trying to sneak into parties she has not been invited to just to see him, or following him to his house when he goes to study with one of her enemies. She often tries to keep away any girls she sees as competition for Adrien. With Chloé and Lila, it’s semi-justifies, because they can be total bitches. But not Kagami.
Is Kagami kind of cold? Yes. Can she be competitive? Absolutely. But she is not evil. Many Adrienette shippers often hate on Kagami, saying she is a stone cold bitch who will stop at nothing to “steal” Adrien away from Marinette. They misinterpret what she whispered in Marinette’s ear during Frozer. Kagami said, “The reason you cannot stand on your feet is your hesitation. I never hesistate.” Adrienette shippers translate this to, “He’s mine, bitch. Back off, or I’ll kill you.” But what she’s ACTUALLY saying is, “I know you like Adrien, but I like him, too, and I’m not gonna just back off out of curtesy while you fumble the ball. So if you want Adrien, you’re going to have to win him from me fair and square. That means you have to suck up whatever insecurities you have and really work to win him over.” She knows Marinette loves Adrien, but Kagami loves him, too. And she’s not just gonna wait around for Marinette to get over her nervousness and ask Adrien out of curtesy. She’s telling Marinette that if she wants Adrien, she needs to get herself together and go after him while he’s still available.
Kagami is not a bad person. She is simply lacking in social experience to properly express her emotions and desires without coming off as an ice queen. And yet, many Adrienette shippers view her through the same toxic lens as many fans of romantic comedies view love rivals of the Nice Guy. If the rival is even the tiniest bit self-serving or emotionally detached, they are automatically dismissed as bad people and therefore, less worthy of the main love interest than the Nice Guy. Thus, viewers are quick to pardon any attempts made by the Nice Guy to sabotage or undermine his rival as a necessary evil, something that must be done so that “true love” can prevail. Like say, I dunno, setting the rival up to be humiliated at a fancy party, despite all that they did to supposedly deserve such treatment was show up to said event, which they were invited to, and act friendly towards the main love interest, because they ARE friends?
If the scenario seems familiar, that’s because that’s exactly what Marinette tried to do to Kagami in Animeastro.
One thing I’ve noticed about this fandom, is that people seem to have a double standard when it comes to Marinette’s negative behaviors vs. Adrien’s. In Glaciator, Adrien seems to accept Ladybug’s rejection, claiming that her friendship was what mattered most, then takes back everything he said in Frozer, acting salty towards Ladybug for her earlier second rejection. After that, the whole fandom was on his case, calling him a jerk and a liar.
Am I happy Adrien went back on his word like that? Of course not. But in that same episode of Frozer, Marinette accepts that she may not be more than Adrien’s friend, and even helps him on his date with Kagami, despite her heartache and despite how everyone thought she was crazy for doing so. Super sweet, right? Except when Animeastro happens, she goes back on her mature acceptance and teams up with her worst enemy, all for the purpose of embarrassing the same girl who she supposedly accepted Adrien might like instead of her. Funnily enough, no one in the fandom seemed to give her any flack for that, despite the fact that it was an exhibitation of the same possessive, hypocrital and selfish behavior that Adrien displayed earlier on, which everyone hated on him for.
Many Marinette fans are projecting the same toxic, biased mindset onto her that fans of romantic comedies project onto the Nice Guy. They excuse any negative behaviors done by the protagonist, insisting that it’s for the greater good, all while hating on the love interest for not immediately falling into their arms. They prioritize the needs and feelings of the Nice Guy/Marinette while completely disregarding those of their love interests.
Marinette stans insist that she deserves Adrien’s love more than anyone else, bashing Adrien for overlooking her in favor of other girls. After all, Marinette has done so much for Adrien, while all Ladybug does is reject him in favor of some other guy, despite how he’s put his heart and life on the line for her. That means he should just cast aside his feelings for Ladybug and settle for Marinette, right? Well, by those standards, shouldn’t Ladybug do the same? After all, Chat Noir has risked his life for her several times and made it clear he adores her, while all Adrien has done is ignore her feelings in favor of other girls, even though she’s been right there the whole time. If Adrien should ignore some of Marinette’s stalker tendacies and easily-jealous nature, shouldn’t Ladybug be able to overlook some of Chat Noir’s less-than-acceptable behaviors?
Marinette fans often share the mindset of Nice Guy stans of romance as a moral issue, harboring the idea that goodness and unwavering affection should automatically earn romantic feelings. They believe that being nice to someone automatically means they owe it to you to love you back. Sadly, life isn’t that clear cut. Love is often given to someone, whether they deserve it or not. It’s both the best and worst part of it. This close-minded, morally black-and-white mindset is given to fans by the Nice Guy, as it’s his expectation that his being kind to the girl and showering her with romance should mean that she should know he is the one for her.
Sadly, this thinking by the Nice Guy is often hypocrital in the movies, because the same Nice Guy is attracted in his crush at least in part to some sort of superficiality (ex. she’s beautiful, popular, dresses well, is the Cool Girl who drinks beer and watches sports while looking hot in a tank top and short shorts). He says she’s superficial for not wanting a dork like him, but it’s not like he’s looking around for some socially-awkward, plain-faced girl on his own level or lower and falling for HER because of HER kind treatment of him and the intensity of HER feelings. Fans get upset when Adrien the teen heartthrob doesn’t give Marinette her due attention, but it’s not like they’re clamoring for her to settle for Nathanael in “Evillistrator” or Nino in “Animan”, even though they had intense feelings for her and were kind to her.
Because of the partial superficiality of the Nice Guy’s attraction to his crush, he has this fantasy built up in his head. He puts her up on this pedestal, much like the pedestal Marinette puts Adrien on. It gets to the point that he’s in love with the IDEA of her, this image of a perfect angel that he’s made her out to be, and not the real her. He refuses to admit that she is flawed, much like how Marinette overlooks Adrien’s doormat attitude and overwillingness to forgive, seeing him instead as the perfect boy who can do no wrong. This is a set up for disappointment later on, as when the love interest does not do what the Nice Guy expects from her, like instantly return his love, the illusion that he has so carefully crafted for his pleasure is shattered, and everything goes downhill.
Many people blame the love interests for not instantly favoring the Nice Guy once he’s shown his romantic dorky side, thinking they should pick up on the feelings right away, like it’s their job to know who they should be with immediately upon meeting them, that it’s their fault they miss the signs. But this misconception shifts blame away from the Nice Guy for not properly acting on his feelings. This is where the Nice Guy becomes his own worst enemy. He automatically convinces himself that he’s below the girl’s standards and gives up before he even tries. He hesitates to act on his feelings, much like Marinette is so certain that Adrien is out of her league that she lets her insecurities get the better of her and avoids confessing to Adrien or even talking to him because she’s sure she’ll mess up before she even tries. Then when the girl doesn’t immediately realize that she is loved, despite getting no clear signs or even the words “I love you”, she is blamed for leading the Guy on, much like how Adrien is blamed for not recognizing the mixed signals from Marinette as affection.
Even after Adrien has told her that he loves another girl, Marinette still decides to keep pursuing him, much like Chat Noir kept pursuing Ladybug even after she told him she loved someone. Yet, while Adrien is bashed for not immediately accepting her choice and working to move on, Marinette is pardoned from not accepting Adrien’s feelings in the matter. Viewers excusing all her Nice Guy traits while prosecuting Adrien for displaying all the same traits is what makes Marinette, in my opinion, more of a Nice Guy than him. Because the Nice Guy is usually the one that shippers root for, despite the warning signs of their behavior and the fact that the love interest has said flat out that they are not into them that way.
Do I think that Marinette is a bad person? No. Do I condone Adrien’s behavior over hers? Absolutely not. But these are fictional characters. We can’t control their flaws or talk some sense into them anymore than we can change the past or rewrite the movies that have sold us this one-sided mindset. I don’t hold their flaws against them and act like their imperfections define their whole character. I focus on the good they do, and if the characters forgive them, I forgive them, because they’re the ones who choose who to forgive, who to love, who to be friends with. So kiss off, Adrien salters. Y’all are a bunch of hypocrites. Peace out.

Let’s talk about: The World of Original Content (Weverse Magazine)
by Admin 1
Don’t you just love it when stan twt in particular has a giant fight victimizing the members and claiming they hate things like RUN BTS only for BH/Weverse Magazine to come through and deliver them a bitter wake up call? Because I sure do, which made reading this new article even more curious than the subject matter already is.
For those who might be intimidated by the length of the article (though I guess you wouldn’t be reading our posts in that case either), the basic gist is a discussion and exploration of how shows like RUN BTS or In the SOOP (or GOING SEVENTEEN used as comparative example) are so successful due to the fact that they give the members a place to participate in a variety show type program in an environment where they feel safe and also actively can add input to the actual things happening in the show, as well as how all this additional video content offers not only a great way for the idols to connect with fans but also to showcase different things about themselves, or even a form of self-presentation as was said about SEVENTEEN content.
Since their start 10 years ago in 2011 until they were named the most mentioned account in the world on Twitter and through to today as the most talked-about K-pop artist, BTS have released more than 12,400 videos and related media. Their YouTube channel, BANGTANTV, has secured 43.4 million subscribers and its videos more than 8.1 billion views cumulatively since its launch in 2012, and has 1,398 videos in its archive as of January 15. BTS have posted more than 590 videos to their V LIVE channel over the past five years, and in June of last year became the first in V LIVE history to surpass 20 million followers. These self-produced videos contain the artists’ histories as well as their messages to and joy for their fanbases, and this original content serves as an opportunity to reach out to even more people thanks to increased follower and subscriber counts.
Now those are some really interesting stats to take in, the numbers mind-blowing though in a sense not necessarily all that surprising. We’re talking about ARMY and eight years worth of content after all, but the fact that there is a lot of sincerity and a degree of genuine rawness to be found among all those videos certainly helps as well. Who doesn’t love Bangtan B*mbs showing the guys doing something fun together, like playing basket ball on the roof between filming the Black Swan MV or things like the short videos from their birthdays. Content like this is much easier to access (and free) than things like Bon Voyage and are a great “gateway drug”, so to speak, to fall even more in love with Bangtan.
The animation dubbing, meanwhile, started with an idea from the members. “Having watched the members for so long, I was confident they would be good at voice acting,” said Bang. “They told each other they wanted to try dubbing something, so we got to work on the episode. Copyright on web-based shows is generally strict, but discussions with Disney went smoothly because it’s BTS.”
This part I find particularly interesting for two reason:
“(...) started with an idea from the members.” confirms yet again the fact that the members do get a say into what they would be interested in doing as part of RUN BTS, that it isn’t just them showing up on set and being forced to do things they don’t care about or have to make themselves pretend they’re enjoying, both things solo stans have claimed about basically each member. It’s the same thing we’ve even seen in episode 124 where the episode was centered around the members coming up with ideas of tasks for episodes with the members even going as far as saying they’d love to do something longer, something that takes up a longer period of time like learning an instrument or sport or even composing a song for RUN BTS. In that same episode we also got confirmation that previous episodes were based on ideas from Taehyung (retro village m*fia type game episodes) and Namjoon (mini game based episode with bottle flipping etc).
“(...) but discussions with Disney went smoothly because it’s BTS.” which honestly just feels like such a (extremely) justified flex, love it. If I were a company that’s usually strict with my copyrights, I’d beg BTS to take my stuff if it’s something that would make them love and they’d have fun with it, but that’s just me.
The last part of the article I’d like to touch upon is this one since, to me, it once again proves Bangtan’s sincerity in sharing certain things and moments with us out of their own free will and desire, instead of due to some skewed ulterior motivation reasoning which some like to project onto them. Of course someone could argue that they only did this to create a false feeling of connection and faux love between the artist and fan, but with that you’re not only doing yourself a disservice but also belittling the members autonomy, feelings and genuine gratitude and connection to us. Yes, they don’t know all of us and they never will because that’s not humanly possible, but BTS being where they are today is (in parts) thanks to their genuine connection to ARMY since even before debut.
When artists enjoy making their videos, they elicit a response from their fans, which in turn instills the artists with even more enthusiasm to make more content. BTS “told the producers they wanted to share with their fans a video they had of them all goofing around,” Bang said, which shows “how sincere their love for their fans is.” The video, in which the members check the Grammy Awards nominations together, was shot on November 25 after they all agreed to RM’s suggestion that they record important moments together and share them: “It would have been somewhat inappropriate to ask the members to film when the nominations were going to be announced so late at night,” Bang recalled, “but they eagerly pitched the idea first, and thanked the staff after they were done shooting.” It was “thanks to the members that I was able to capture that important moment,” Kim said, while noting that “the most important thing when producing content is the artist’s desire to connect with their fans.”
This is something they certainly didn't have to do, just like they didn’t share the Billboard Hot100 #1 night with us in such a way either, but the members knew just how grand and meaningful of a moment that Grammy nomination would be so they wanted to not only film it for themselves as a memory, but also to share it with us. Also this line is quite telling to me: “It would have been somewhat inappropriate to ask the members to film when the nominations were going to be announced so late at night,” Bang recalled”. While some claim awful things against BH, little things like this, to me, show that there are still boundaries that the staff and producers keep and won’t cross unless given explicit permission or receiving an explicit request to do so, like they did in this case.
BH isn’t perfect by any means, they are a company after all (can we talk about the horrible shipping prices? And more general price tags on merchandise etc?) but at least when it comes to the treatment of their artists they seem leaps ahead of other agencies and BTS genuinely satisfied with working and being with them for more than a decade now, so as fan, who am I to judge that? Especially when we keep getting tiny pieces of “proof” that show that the members have good relationships with those they work with, some staff being already with them for years or even since the beginning, when Hoseok gets called “Hobi-nim” or “Hobi Hobi-nim” cutely by their stylists, when Tae’s bodyguard/manager gently fixes his hair when he notices Tae is still half asleep and his hair askew, or Seokjin sought “shelter” against one of their managers when he got shy at the airport a few years ago.
The more fans can tell that the artists are having fun and feel safe, the happier they are to share the videos, and this can continue to spread outside the fandom, resulting in all sorts of related or derivative media referencing the original.
Overall I’m really impressed with the level of journalism that the staff working on Weverse Magazine have exhibited so far. They could’ve just created fluff pieces with zero substance to them, wrote sugar sweet "articles” full of empty praise and phoned in the interviews with the members for the BE Comeback Interviews, but instead we got really interesting things instead, like their article about the Grammys or one of the first articles that highlighted the racism and gatekeeping BTS have experienced over the years abroad where they even called out some people by name which felt like the perfect (justified) power move. If you haven’t yet, I very much recommend looking through all the articles and interviews and giving them a read. It really is worth it and written in a language everyone regardless of their level of English can understand while staying interesting to read without appearing simplified or “dumbed down”.

Suffocating - Part One
This is based of the fan art and fic of the lovely @mintartem who gave me permission for this! Please check them out :)
This isn’t my best work and not quite what I imagined but I think part 2 will have more of my strengths!
Warnings: strangulation, light language
The basement was cold, and out of everything that was happening, you’d think Stanley would have had better things to be aware of.
Stanley should have been aware of the blinding light of the orb containing some sort of galaxy. Stanley should have been aware from the red-hot fury just radiating from his brother, both physically and mentally, and he was, he was!
It was just that the basement was cold. So, so, cold.
Ford’s screaming swam in and around his ears, like the waves had around that trunk, so many years ago.
The shockingly bright glow from the galaxy-decorated orb still sent waves of light around the room, like the reflections of light from the lake ripples. It laid somewhere behind Ford, having rolled before settling to a halt, space somehow angry and riled up inside it.
Ford’s figure advancing towards him, face starting to tinge pink from shouting, casted a horrible shadow over Stanley. Nothing he wasn’t used to.
“Do you have any single inkling of what you could have done?” Ford’s hair was unruly from sleep, his eyes bloodshot from what had to have been exhaustion and not hatred.
You did what, you knucklehead?
Filbrick’s eyes were unreachable, something so cold they’d freeze you to death unless protected by the saving grace of sunglasses. Not like Ford’s. Not like Ford.
Stanley took a step back with every step Stanford took towards him, keeping the safe distance (how sad was it he had to use the safe distance with his brother, that he had to think about how far away to keep from him as if he were a gangster trying to kill him) but aware of the ever-closer wall.
“Sixer, Ford, you’re kidding me, I didn’t--” Every word he tried to splutter out was drowned (like him in that trunk) and ignored (like him in the Pines household) and it only served to darken that red glint in Stanford’s eyes.
“You!” Stanford’s finger shot towards him, shaking and unsteady. “You have never respected my science. You never respected me! All my life, I’ve had to deal with your jokes and your degradation and-”
Degradation?
Stanley’s feet, wrapped in his warm slippers, froze to ice (cold cold basement’s cold cold floor, cold air drafting against his skin) and he stopped in his tracks. Stanford kept going.
Dumber, sweatier version of him, scraping barnacles off of docks and god-for nothing but racing drugs around border to border and brother of the genius and that clown and
“You’ve never been degraded in your life!”
You think you’ve got problems?
Stanley raised his own voice at him, waving an arm wildly around. “You got everything you wanted, lots of money, science stuff, damn it, Stanford, you--”
“I never got what I really wanted!” Stanford’s palms, so muscular and rough, pushed against his chest, and it was all Stanley could do to stumble without falling on his ass and feeling Ford’s foot on his chest as his shoulder burned in agony (hot in the cold, cold basement).
“I wanted somebody to understand me, somebody on my LEVEL! Who didn’t call me some sort of nerd machine whenever I brought up my interests! Who’d promise me the world and make me feel special! For God’s sake, I wanted to be acknowledged for what I was and instead, instead I was stuck with you!”
His fingers curled into a fist, red hot anger building in every muscle, old joints roaring to pounce. “Listen here, you entitled--”
Twelve fingers dug into his shoulders, ramming him into the wall that was so much closer than expected. The impact sent spikes of pain all throughout his neck and shoulders.
“You used me!” The cry was wild, unhinged, like a trapped animal. “You used me for your own personal gain!”
“THE SCIENCE PROJECT WAS AN ACCIDENT!” Stanley screwed his eyes shut and howled the words into his brother’s too-close face, but he felt himself pushed further into the wall. His feet itched to lash out and kick him in the crotch, the stomach, any soft area.
But he was small and Fil -- no. No, this is Ford, his brother, he can’t hurt his brother. They just needed to roughhouse to let out steam --
“Bullshit!” Ford spat back, his wide eyes and flushed face way too close for comfort. “I just wanted to be my own person, my own happy person, and that was ripped away from me because ooh,” his voice dripped with sarcasm, “wherever we go, we go together!”
Pain tore across Stan’s body as if he’d been slapped, leaving him winded and breathless.
Ford hadn’t just said that. He hadn’t used that promise, those words, that sacred promise, against him.
No.
“You were my best friend.”
Well, I guess you’d better come visit me on the other side of the country.
Stanley’s twin, his better half. All he had and all he wanted.
“And you were the half of me I couldn’t get rid of! I wanted to be my own person and you just wanted to be around me all the time, to be me--“
The dust in the freezing basement was getting in Stanley’s eyes, causing allergies and shit and he could feel the liquid welling up in his eyes, half-angry and half-shocked.
He didn’t mean to wake Ford up and drop his snowglobe or whatever and he didn’t want to have his half-asleep enraged brother yelling at him like this, ripping apart any shred of self-respect or self-esteem Stanley managed to keep throughout the ages.
Years of fighting off thugs in dark alleyways coursed through Stanley’s veins and his fist swung towards his brother’s chin in a solid upper hook, returning the favor that still ached on his own jaw.
Twelve fingers wrapped themselves around his throat, cutting off his precious airway.
His eyes bulged, color fleeing from his cheeks. His fist unraveled and instead clawed and scratched at Ford’s grip.
Ford’s strength pushed him higher against the wall. Stanley felt his heels lift away from the bottom of his slippers.
He only had the little breath from before the chokehold, formulating to barely more than a croak. “Ford…” He searched his brother’s face for any hint of mercy that someone who cared could provide, that a bully or father or drug lord could never. “I can’t -- “ breathe.
He needed to breathe.
“This is what I always feel around you!”
The words whirled around. Black spots danced, unclear and fuzzy and sometimes grey or green, but the angry light in Ford’s eyes glowed sharp and clear, twin lighthouses in whatever sea Stanley had dragged them both to drown in.
Hot tears flooded in Stanley’s eyes. His lips moved, but he had no oxygen to spare into speech.
He kicked out as a last resort, but he willingly missed hitting his brother. He’d caused enough damage. He might have broken whatever glowy ball he dropped. He ruined Ford’s life, that nerdy little boy on the bottom bunk…
His brother started screaming at him the moment he’d popped up from his desk. Maybe he was grumpy.
Stanley’s eyes slid shut, maybe from his own will, maybe not. finally rolling streams of tears down his face. Maybe his brother was still dreaming.
Ford, wake up.
The noose of fingers around his neck vanished, and sweet, ice-cold but fresh air flooded Stan’s body.
Without anything holding him up he stumbled forward, and with the dizziness having sucked all the energy out of his lungs it was all he could do to collapse forward onto his knees and then hands, choking and gasping and coughing as if he hadn’t just been trying to get air in, and now he was coughing it out?
His back was on fire, and so was his brand, and he could feel the trunk walls around him, and suddenly Pa grabbed his shirt, and, and…
A shuddering gasp reached his awareness. He lifted his head.
Ford had backed away, hands now covering his mouth, widened eyes, darkened by shadows underneath, no longer hysteric.
“Stan,” he croaked once those twelve fingers returned to his sides, trembling. From emotion or exertion?
Stanley’s shoulders shook with wheezy laughter as he stayed down, every inhale rasping painfully in his throat around the doubtlessly bruising skin. Twelve-fingered bruise to match the six-fingered bruise on his face to match the brand on his shoulder.
“Stanley, I’m--”
“You said I looked like Dad,” rasped Stanley, pathetic attempts at laughter both breathless and humorless. He lifted his head to stare at his twin. “But you’re the one acting like him.” His cheeks glistened with moisture.
Ford’s mouth opened and closed, visibly trembling. “I… I’m…”
Stanley forced himself to his feet, pretending he wasn’t swaying and that the room wasn’t spinning and that his throat didn’t still feel choked, fleeing to the elevator.
Ford didn’t follow.

So, I just started to play Obey Me! Shall We Date
And well, I have thoughts
Im currently stuck on the first levels of lesson 5, so my knowledge of the plot is limited to that + some spoilers I accidentally got while going though the obey me! tag. Do I have a deep understanding of this game? No. Am I gonna rant anyway? Yeah. See me do another one of these soon after I play it some more, but for now, I need to put this out there:
First, mechanics-wise, the first thing on my mind was "Mr. Love from Hell", which is honestly not too far fetched. Maybe it's because I'm playing in my old ass tablet (I need a new phone, this thing ain't gonna survive 2020) but it's just so slow??? I've tried downloading full data, and it kinda helped, but still, it just annoys me so much! It's not crashing like crazy (cof cof Love Island The Game cof cof) but it could be better, it takes forever to get the itens to level up cards because it just ????????? takes forever for them to load???? anyone else got this problem or it's just my device? Anyway, that aside, I quite like it, if you played MLQC, it's pretty easy to manage, and while it takes a bit more of attention to win battles, I think that's a good thing. Getting shards has a been a bitch, like, I keep on suffering with the loading and my competitive ass wants to finish begginer's missions, and again I think Mr. Love has spoiled me. Also, someone please tell me how to level up skills, because I have no idea???
Now, moving on to the actual tea: what do I think of these boys?
Let's go in order, shall we:
So, I open the app and I see Lucifer in all his red and black glory, furry cape, Dom-Daddy, Big D Energy for days and go "Oh, Demon!Nobunaga, fun!". I'm immediately drawn to him beacause Nobu was my first ever otome guy and while I eventually grew out of the whole "this man is so controlling and sexy and dark" phase, nostalgia ya know? So, turns out the vibe I keep getting from Lucifer is more like all those dark-kinky-Jumin-Han-fanfics (as in, the only parts of Jumin Han that I hate) rather than Nobu? Idk man, this guy just seems shady?? They all do honestly but Lucifer is just plain scary. Dude, I know you've got the whole "most-powerful-oldest-control-freak" going for you but, like, can you chill?
Yet I can't really blame him, cause, Veronica (that's my MC's name) why, girl???? She be going up those stairs, and I'm just ??? Real talk, I'm kinda of a rule follower? I don't wanna make this guy mad, man, all I wanna do is hit on Satan (which we shall discuss soon) and see some family drama shenanigans. Lucifer says "don't go up those stairs" I'd be like "okay???" because up until now he hasn't given me a reason to not trust him (aside from being shady)??? But I have no choice but go talk to Belphegor (don't even get me started on this one) and I can just tell I'm gonna get in trouble for this. Could I not get there accidentally? Do I have to go there against Lucifer's direct orders? I don't think this is gonna go well, I just don't wanna get on his bad side hskshskshk
Lucifer's room, however, is everything to me, the deco is lovely (skeleton aside) and that bed, maaaannnn
Mammon started really annoying but he's been growing on me. I have a soft spot for dumb bitches like him, I guess? He just cracks me up? Not to be cheesy, but I like him as a friend? Maybe that'll change in the future, who knows, but for now that's how I see him, the best friend guy who is gonna be in love with you in every single route (read, Seven, but dumber). Can't wait for the angst. Looks wise I kind got him mixed with Solomon at some point (my dumbass though it was a bug) but all those Surprise Guest moments have me thinking he's way cuter than I gave him credit for at first.
I always feel bad for ratting him out to Lucifer, but boy, you and Veronica practically share one single brain cell, okay? I need to get my girl into Lucifer's good graces, I ain't about that troublemaker life
Levi is gonna be brief: No. He's not my type (otome or real life wise) and he annoys me. He reminded me a bit of Yoosung at first, and I'm trying to power though it like I did with him, but I can't. He keeps dragging me into his stuff and it's not cute, it makes me resent Levi. I'm not much of a tsundere enthusiast by nature, and I really don't like when they portray fans and gamers in this kinda "I'm weird, look at me I'm so weird and different" light ("have you ever seen me without this stupid hat on? that's weird" jsjdndmsksjdnsmskdjnddm). It comes across (to me at least) as childish and dumb (not endearing dumb, like Mammon). Idk, maybe I'll change my mind? Don't come for me, Levi stans
So Satan
I love Satan
Otome makes you say the strangest shit hm
Still. I haven't interacted much with him but I'm obsessed with this man. Let me date you, okay? You look like posh book-cat-candle super model I wish existed. Let's be petty together. Since I haven't been playing long I hope I don't end up regretting putting my heart and soul into loving you. I'm doing all kinds of jobs to get intimacy go up with him, because guyghbkhiugiygufgfydddyghvjgvjg I'm all about that soft dom energy he has going for him, it's basically everything I love about Jumin Ham, but less CEO and more cute-bookstore-guy. Ideally, Satan is 100% my type, even if not the usual otome route I take first. Also, he is the Avatar of Wrath, which, along with Pride, is my most prominent sin, so I might be projecting
Pls babe don't turn out to be terrible
Kay, so Asmo. Asmo gives me all the Shingen vibes but realistic Shingen. Like, of Shingen is all about worshiping his MC, Asmo looks like he wants to be worshiped himself. Not judging, tho. That thing he said about loving himself above all things, I feel like it was supposed to be shady but I kinda agree? He's onto something. All this self-sacrifing thing is so romanticized. Can't we all be in healthy non co-dependent relationships? Love yourselves, kids. Which is why, while I said Satan is my ideal type of man, in real life, most of the people I've been with are Asmos. That being said, that's why he doesn't really work as an otome LI for me (at least for now). I'm here to live a fantasy of dating demons, not to see my exes. He is tempting tho. Who doesn't want a friend to do face masks and fuck from time to time, no strings attached until, "oh no, we both caught feelings, whatever shall we do" and then have it end well? (can you tell I'm projecting? my therapist is gonna love this). Poor Asmo, it's not his fault. Darling I'm sure you'll turn out to be lovely
On Beel, not much. I'm not into him, at least for now. his personality so far is that he's hungry. So what, man. I'm not here for that either. I don't find food particularly fun or sexy, it's just here to keep us alive (unless it's sweets, sweets are the best, but I'm having to cut down on sweets so), so he's not doing much for me. Gotta wait for that character development I guess
And to end this rant, Belphegor. Bitch, I've seen you on my demon cards, don't you dare tell Veronica you're human. But she's a dumb hoe, my girl Veronica, so she just doesn't question it???? I swear, this girl. Shady doesn't even cut it with him. Sorry, you're telling me what to do? Dude, lol, you're lucky this is Veronica and not me, because I'd be out of there as soon as you started this bull about me doing pacts with demons to get your ass out of that room. Don't prey on my empathy, it pisses me off. Spoilers tell me he's like a human-hater or something? Boy, fuck you, okay? Am I going to end up loving him? Who knows. For now he can rot in that room for all I care
Anyway, that's pretty much my first impressions of this game. I'll be playing it for some more time, until I get up to date on lessons and story or until colleges comes to drag me to literal hell, whatever comes first
Peace, my dudes

Have Some Glitter!!!
This is an idea that’s been sitting in the back of my head for quite some time now and I’ve finally finished it!
It involves my oc, Amaya who has the quirk imagination. She is also referred as Enigma, her villain name.
Other characters present: Overhaul, Tomura, Chronostasis, and Mimic.
Information about Amaya provided in the links below (Please click on them before you read!!! It’ll help you understand how her quirk works and stuff)
Link:  Her costume, quirk information, and basic personality
Link: Character profile
Note: This fic contains the diabolical reflective plastic that is glitter and will cover everything it touches. Amaya has no idea about what’s in the quirk erasing drug since she has never had access to the drug itself. She is just a supplier for the guns and the bullet canisters.
Summary: Amaya is tired of how Overhaul has treated her and decides to stop being his supplier for making the guns and bullets for the quirk erasing drug. She plans on giving him the new and improved finished product as long as Overhaul doesn’t make any denouncing comments towards her.
Sorry Overhaul stans, I personally don’t like him from what he did to Magne and how he abused Eri. I understand if you don’t want to read this one.
Also take note I used some dialogue from chapter 132. I tried to reword some of it since I didn’t want to copy it, but some of it I just left alone.
_______________________________________
Amaya finally finished developing the new bullet and guns for the Shie Hassaikai. “Ugh, finally!! This took months to finally get right!” She groaned while stretching, collapsing in her black office chair as her pastel rainbow hair flowed behind her head, draping against the back of the dark fabric. She lulled her head to the side, staring at a clock on the wall. “Guess it’s time to present it to Overhaul then.” She grimaced, rubbing around her tired magenta-colored eyes.
Amaya absolutely hated Overhaul and his arrogance. He never would give her extra time on projects or anything, even when she’s sick.
“This is the last time I’m doing anything for him!”
She donned her disguise with swiftness, running her hands through her pastel rainbow waves as the strands turned to brown with the glide of her fingers. She took off her work clothes and put on her outfit she always wore for this occasion. It consisted of a pair of black converse boots, a black and pink plaid skirt, pleated at the bottom that reached just above the knees, one of her many novelty tees, and a simple black hooded jacket.
With haste, she made a portal to the entrance of the Shie Hassaikai’s hideout. As soon as she stepped out, she met Chronostasis and some guy in a hooded, black trench coat. She realized it was Tomura Shigaraki, the leader of the League of Villains. She had met him in the past, once at the mall where he was with some high school kid and through Giran for orders on custom equipment and weapons.
Amaya couldn’t get a good look at him right now, but she did notice his hair had grown since the last time they met.
Shigaraki turned and stared at her for a moment a bit puzzled, trying to figure out who she is and why she’s here. ‘She looks familiar…where have we met before?’ He thought.
Amaya noticed him scanning her features, ‘does he not remember me? Well…I guess being a big shot leader of the League of Villains wouldn’t remember me anyway.’
Your thoughts were broken when Chronostasis cleared his throat. Amaya and Shigaraki turn to face him as he spoke in a stern yet flat tone, “I assume since you’re here that means the guns and bullets have been finished, Enigma.”
Amaya nodded, not wanting to speak. She was just wanted to get this over with.
Shigaraki’s red eyes grew interested, 'so she’s the maker of their weapons huh…ah, that’s why she looks familiar, she does custom orders through Giran.’ He hoped he might be able to get information out of her about it if Overhaul wouldn’t comply that is.
Chronostasis motioned Shigaraki and Amaya to follow down the maze-like hallway, so many twists and turns to go through. It was seemingly endless.
The hideout felt like a prison, though a rather clean one. The walls were bare with very bland coloring. The place smelled like a hospital, sterile, so very sterile. It made Amaya uncomfortable every time she was there as she internally grimaced at the heavy, unpleasant atmosphere it radiated as she picked at the skin around her nails.
Finally, they reached the meeting room, which wasn’t much better from the bare hallways. The room was very plain and lifeless. The only things suggesting people ever stay in this room are the two couches and the coffee table between them. A poster of the Shie Hassaikai’s symbol was framed on the wall, though it didn’t add much to the room. It severely lacked character.
Overhaul sat at the center of the couch on the far end of the room with Mimic sitting on the armrest, drinking tea.
Shigaraki carefully placed Father on his face as he took off his hood, revealing his silvery-blue hair.
“What a dreary place…” Shigaraki grumbled, scratching his neck.
“I never was one for cluttered objects. Just simply isn’t my taste.” Overhaul responded.
“Hmph, I’ll say.” Amaya snorted, rolling her magenta-colored eyes.
Shigaraki stole a glance at Amaya, an amused smirk crept up his face behind Father before it faltered. “You had me wandering through countless hallways for thirty minutes! Just what kind of Yakuza house is this?”
“Since we don’t know what our guests are thinking or who’s watching this place, so this area is filled with hidden underground routes. This room also serves as a hideout,” Overhaul stated.
“It’s because of these measures the Shie Hassaikai has lasted this long,” Mimic added.
'Yeah, you don’t know what I’m thinking, Overhaul…’ Amaya crosses her arms, and sighs, “well, I guess that’s one way to do it.”
Shigaraki makes his way to the couch in front of Overhaul and Mimic. Amaya noticed and goes to the left side while Mimic talks to Shigaraki. “When you were talking on the phone, were you being real? Depending on the conditions, you’ll side with us?”
Shigaraki plops himself on the right side of the couch, Amaya on the left. She rests her elbow on the plastic armrest, placing her face in the palm of her left hand with a blank expression.
Lifting his leg, Shigaraki spoke, “that’s a rather self-serving way of putting it. You’re the ones wanting to latch onto the League’s name but we’re both wanting to expand our influence.” He shoves the rubber heel of his right shoe onto the low table in front of him, dragging it along making a rubbery scuffing sound. “Our motives happen to align.”
Amaya’s eyes shift to the table, 'oh hoho, you didn’t Shigaraki. Overhaul is going to hate this! At least I’ll get some amusement until he starts criticizing my work ethic…’
“Put your foot down, you’re dirtying up the table!” Overhaul demands, annoyed.
Amaya rolled her eyes, ‘and there it is…’
Shigaraki leaves his foot, amused by Overhaul’s annoyance. “I believe that should be 'can you please put your foot down young boss?’ If anything, you should be bowing your head in respect,” he taunted.
Amaya held back a smile, listening to what else he had to say.
“First, we don’t answer to anyone. We will move however we like. Call it 50/50. In other words, we’re willing to work together in a “joint venture,” Shigaraki states, staring at Overhaul.
“Is that the only condition?” Overhaul asks curiously.
Shigaraki lifts his right hand, index finger out, “there’s another, that “plan” you were talking about, “he pauses, “tell me more about it. It’s a natural condition. I just can’t lend you our name for worthless schemes. Although…”
Amaya notices Shigaraki reaching into his coat pocket as the atmosphere grew tense. Her hairs on the back of her neck stood on end, she heard heavy footsteps behind her and noticed Mimic shift. Before she could think, Mimic attaches himself to Shigaraki as Chronostasis threatens the young villain leader with a gun. She flinched, her body pressed to the corner of the armrest, staring wide eyed. ‘The hell is wrong with them?’
Chronostasis grips the gun tighter, “don’t get cocky! You’re getting a little ahead of yourself aren’t you?”
“Who do you think you are punk?!!” Mimic growls, voice dripping with venom.
Shigaraki’s eyes dart towards Chronostasis, leering. “’Who do you think you are?’ That’s my line. Do you really think your throwaway small-fry yakuza human shields are of equal value to our Magne?” He lifts his left hand as it shook with rage, gaze shifting to Overhaul. “Don’t forget we’re down an arm too. If you can’t even make a small compromise…”
Overhaul’s eyes darken, “Chrono, Mimic, leave him be.” “He did come all this way to consider the future with us.” Chrono understood his orders and slipped the gun back into his pocket while Mimic detaches himself from Shigaraki, eyes glaring in a warning not to try anything. Overhaul lifts his left hand, gesturing towards Shigaraki. “Let’s hear what he has to say. You were in the middle of saying something, weren’t you?” Overhaul asked.
The heaviness throughout the room lessened, though Amaya could still sense the malevolent aura radiating around Mimic. She let out a breath she didn’t know she was holding as she relaxed into the cushions, still on edge in case something might happen.
Shigaraki reached into his pocket and pulled out a quirk erasing bullet, holding it with his thumb and index finger ever so carefully. “This has something to do with whatever this is.”
Overhaul raises his eyebrows and listens. “Immediately after this was fired into him, Mr. Compress was no longer able to use his quirk. What is this? What do you plan on doing with it? Tell me.”
A glint appeared in Overhaul’s golden eyes, onlooking at the potential future. “I’m going to destroy justice.”
“Hmmm, justice…?” Amaya muttered under her breath. ‘So that’s what the quirk erasing bullets are for…’ Then she noticed something as she furrowed her eyebrows in thought, ‘wait…he had the audacity to threaten the League of Villains? Just what does he think he’s doing?’
Overhaul continued, “I hear that All for One controlled others by taking their quirks. I figured I’d brush up on that approach a little bit. Our roots have already spread throughout the country. Little by little…little by little…all of the preparations are proceeding to according to plan.”
‘For now anyway.’ Amaya’s eyes shifted around the room, trying to focus on something: the tiles on the ceiling, the floor, anything. Shigaraki shifted on the couch, placing his right leg on the floor. Overhaul turns his head towards Amaya.
“Speaking of the plan, I’m sure you have what I need. Right Enigma?” He eyed her carefully.
Amaya took out a sheet of paper and placed it on the table, giving it a tap. It turned into a rather large briefcase, peaking Shigaraki’s interest. “Everything should be in there. Sorry it took so long,” Amaya said with a shiny smile.
“This should’ve been finished a few weeks ago Enigma…” Overhaul scolded, opening the case.
Amaya stiffened, furrowing her eyebrows. “I told you I had the flu and it would be delayed! Were you not listening when I told you?”
“That’s not something I want to hear. I gave you a deadline and you missed it.” he accused.
She jumped from her seat on the couch, fists clenched as her face turned scarlet. “I could barely walk to the bathroom when I was sick!!! Plus, it didn’t help I worked day and night to get your order finished. It’s probably part of the reason I caught it!” Amaya barked, eyes darkened. Her whole body trembled, seething with rage. ‘You better not say another word Overhaul….’
Mimic shifted on the armrest, pointing his finger at Amaya and shouted, “hey! Don’t you be talking to our boss like that!” Amaya lowered her head and closed her eyes. The trembling increasing along with her shaky inhales as she tried holding all the emotions in, but it was too late. “Heh, you should be glad I even bothered making the guns and bullets for your precious boss! What would this operation be without my help, Mimic?!!” She spat at him.
Overhaul froze for a moment, noticing the change in Amaya’s demeaner. “Enigma…?”
“Save it Overhaul, I’m done!” She snapped, angry tears pooling from her eyes and sliding down her reddened face. Then, she started to laugh. “Hah, hahahah! In fact, you won’t be needing these anymore, I mean the weapons you do have are enough for now right?!!” She picked up the briefcase with her left hand, dangling it in a taunting manner in front of Overhaul.
Shigaraki just stared at Amaya, amused by the events as he hid a toothy grin behind Father.
“Wait! Enigma, please! Don’t!!” Overhaul reached out to grab it in fear.
Mimic and Chronostasis attempt to get the briefcase but failed. They cannot move their legs. “What the–I can’t move!” Mimic cries. Chronostasis takes out his gun, pointing it at Amaya.
Amaya shifts her body towards him, craning her neck. “Do you really think that will work Chrono?” She mocked with a playful smirk.
He froze, arms shaking before placing the gun back in his pocket.
“Oh, do you know how sick and tired I am about this?” She gripped her forehead with her right hand, uttering a frustrated breath. “You never appreciate anything I’ve done for you no matter how crucial it is. And you know what?” She paused. “I’M DONE!!!” She let go of the briefcase as it levitated towards Overhaul, stopping just above his head.
Mimic and Chronostasis are speechless, staring wide eyed towards their boss, still unable to move. Overhaul attempts to get up. He shudders as his golden eyes tremble in fear and anger. His eyes dart towards Shigaraki. Amaya notices.
“Don’t even try bringing him into this!” Amaya snarls as she removes her right hand from her face, snapping her fingers. Buckets appear over Mimic and Chronostasis. Shigaraki leans back into the couch, nonchalant by the events happening as he watches it unfold.
“For a while, I had thought about quitting as your supplier. Well, guess that’s happening, starting…NOW!” She snapped her fingers on both hands, cranking her neck to the side, smiling in amusement.
The moment her fingers snapped, the buckets dismantled themselves, turning into a cascade of sparkling rainbow glitter. The briefcase over Overhaul’s head burst, coating him and the couch in the reflective plastic. Mounds of it slid onto the floor, coating it as it glistened under the fluorescent lighting. Silence emanated throughout the room for a brief moment. The only people not affected were Amaya and Shigaraki.
Overhaul’s hands twitch and bend in disgust, shining with every miniscule movement. His eyes became bloodshot, fuming from the rage pooling inside him, letting out heavy breaths. “….Ennnigmaaa…..,” Overhaul shouted, fists clenched as his body trembled and shook, trying to lunge after Amaya.
Amaya stood there laughing in amusement as she relished this beautiful moment. “Heh, I just knew, this would be the best way to say fuck you and your precious yakuza! Now, if you’ll excuse me,” she said, turning around while strutting towards the doorway. Shigaraki tried holding back a laugh though couldn’t help a few snickers leave his scarred lips.
“You won’t get away with this Enigma!” Mimic growled, glimmering with rainbow sparkles though every movement.
She craned her neck in Mimic’s direction, mocking him in a sing-song manner. “Oh, but I will. Have fun cleaning this up! I made sure you won’t be able to get all of it up.”
Amaya let Overhaul move. He sprung from the couch, a shower of glitter trailing off of him. He took off his glove and touched her arm. His eyes widened and shook with fear as he dropped to the floor, crawling away. She still stood, unscathed. Mimic and Chronostasis were shook.
“Sorry, not happening today Overhaul, but nice try.” She held up her left hand, shooting a burst of glitter at his gut.
Overhaul grunted from the impact and hit the back of the couch, a sparkling mess. Shiny, gold glitter coated the tiled floor leading towards him. He shined much like an angry star under the light. Through Overhaul’s heavy breathing, he called off Shigaraki to meet him another time to finish their deal at a later date.
She waved goodbye with a goofy smile and left, delighted at hearing Overhaul’s snarls and curses from the room. Shigaraki soon followed dreading he’d have to come back, but he admitted seeing Overhaul losing his shit over a bit of glitter was worth it.
‘Finally! I won’t have to deal with that sorry arrogant ass ever again!’ Amaya threw her fists up in victory. She made a portal for Shigaraki to leave the Shie Hassaikai’s hideout, knowing he wouldn’t want to travel through all those twists and turns again. He smiled at her before taking his leave. Amaya made a portal directly to her room. Now, she would finally get her much needed rest before working on the other equipment orders.

Reflection on Onion man
So hellu hellu there, nice to meet you @ whoever's reading this post,
I'm Ophelia and I've been lurking the Onision and the anti-onision community for some time.
I decided to make this post after seeing some especially creepy interactions between gregman and his underage fanbase.
Now, before anyone accuses me of being a sock puppet account of the grease man himself by looking at the lack of posts (the fact that he feels the need to create those is...very sad), I must say that I used to be more active on tumblr and I actually had two account before this one, but I eliminated them on a whim when I felt that I was dangerously spending way too much time looking/lurking the wrong communities. I created this account to first look at p*rn (I'm just going to be honest) and then, after the Purge, to just lurk for fun.
Now onto what I really wanted to say.
I started to watch the onion man back in 2014, and at first I enjoyed the content, edgy 13/14 years old me saw "something" in the man doing skits and stuff like that, and I (wrongly) agreed with some of his opinions/ideas, I had gifs of him, was an hardcore fan, crushing a lil bit, you know, the usual.
But as things start, they also come to and end. In 2016 I started to find his content boring, halfassed and overall terrible, and after some time I even had the chance to discover his past relationships and what he'd done in general, and that was the last straw. I laughed at his incapacity of being faithful and keeping it in his pants and left the community (in which I only lurked basically, I was and still am incredibly anxious, I'm doing this post because I'm worried).
Then the Billie drama happened, and that irked me even more and made me feel like I dodged a bullet, or better, a cannon ball.
As time went on I realized how bad he was, and by researching a bit more I found even more reasons to not hate him, but pity him.
He's so insecure about his own mental health that he has to go after others and consider them "mentally challenged" (to say the least) if they self harm or suffer from an ED.
He's so uptight with his sexuality and idea of masculinity that he tries to be the nice-guy-feminist-ally but then fails to actually follow the opinions he spouts, thus being the biggest hypocrite that ever was.
That's why I really suggest to look at him in a more "oh he's so pathetic" kind of mentality, rather than pure hate. He thrives on hate, but shrivels up at the idea of being considered pathetic, as it takes a toll on his ego.
But anyway, this is not a post to entirely shit on grrrrregory, but rather a warning to any minor in his community.
It's understandable to like him at first, especially if your sense of humour is a bit fucked and edgy. Then maybe you start appreciating him because of the picture of himself he tries to project on the internet: the honest, kind hearted, helper and saviour of young women that only gives true opinions that are actually perfect and should not be contested, as if you try to do so, you're a bigot/conservative that deserves to be oppressed.
It's okay, you should not be ashamed to admit it and to show it.
But then look around him.
Why does he only hang out with very few people?
Why do people on the internet cringe at him and consider him creepy?
Why is his like/dislike ratio so fucked?
Why is he forced to hide behind characters on Twitter to "avoid" backlash?
It doesn't take that long to find out.
You look up his name, and with a simple Google search you'll find everything that went down with him. Internet is unforgiving.
A little search, and you find out how he damaged his wife's car while on his way to fuck underage Shiloh when he was still married.
Or how he put Shiloh through an absurd amount of stress and pain, i.e. forcing her to shave her head and so on.
The situation with Skye, Adrienne and Kai (who, while also not being as innocent and as guiltless as he tries to be, does not need to be misgendered out of spite.)
The abuse of his animals, from his turtle, to the guinea pigs and dogs.
If you really see these things as "haterz gonna hate", I beg you to reflect. Would a completely innocent man try and deceive people by making fake accounts that support him and by trying to spread hate among other people? Would a man with a spotless soul claim to not be obsessed with someone after YEARS and YEARS only to make videos and name dropping that person every 10 tweets he makes?
That's only an example of how much of a bitter soul he is. He doesn't deserve your time or money. If you have any problem that concerns your mental and/or physical health, please be careful with the content onision posts. I wasn't personally affected by it, but you might be. Focus on healing and becoming a better version of yourself. But who am I to force you to do that? I'm not patronizing, but rather suggesting.
Onision is the equivalent of the edgy kid that brags about punching a wall while being angry at his parents.
He's the guy saying he's a feminist to only get into people's pants.
He's a bully, and as a bully, his ego is so fragile that he has to go out of his way to abuse a copyright system to take down people who disagree with him. Would someone honest and able to take criticism do that?
Look up what he asked Billie when they were splitting up: do you think a sane man would ask you to be chained in his basement as proof of loyalty?
Look at Kai. Does he look like an happy parent? Why doesn't he trust Onision around their kids? Why does he keep on looking for someone else to get into his and Greg's relationship?
But these are just starting points, and you can just ignore them if you want.
What I really care about is you being safe. If greg shows interest in you and you're underage, take a step back. It's not cute, it's not goals. It's predatory. Because guess what, do you know what happened with the last teenager he approached? Onision got married to him. Kai was all over Greg, because he got what fans want from their favourite celebrity, he got his dream of marrying the man he stanned.
In the end, I don't care about whether you believe me or not, I care about people (specifically minors) not falling into the onion trap.
Just please,
BE CAREFUL.

I’ll separate my thoughts on the previous post so as not to muddy immediate data perception with my bias ;-;
For the record I half made the charts because I was curious, one of my fav rarepairs is Redtail/Oakheart! I love both characters dearly and it has absolutely butt to do with how they’re portrayed in canon, rather entirely my own stupid headcanons. These cats are woefully misrepresented by the books, though saying that implies there was an original plan...
Whatever I guess I can whine about both :P
Oakheart first. I’m mostly bothered by the lack of anything supplementing his relationships with both Crookedstar and Bluestar in their respective super editions. I might give Crookedstar’s Promise a pass for now since it’s been a while since I’ve read it, but damn, I can’t remember a thing Oakheart actually did in that book aside from squabble with his bro when Crookedstar found out he hooked up with Bluefur.
In my mind I’m just puzzled as to whether Oakheart’s a tom itching for a fight with ThunderClan, or a genuinely goodhearted cat who sees the best even in his enemies. Maybe a reread would clear that up.
Really can’t say the same about Bluestar’s Prophecy. Like... his thing with Bluefur is legitimately framed as a fling. They go on all of one kitty date. And then Bluefur’s pregnant. Yet they’re relationship is framed as something so much more, to the point they become mates again in StarClan. I don’t buy that. I don’t buy that Oakheart would offer to join ThunderClan for Bluefur’s sake, like... maybe the implication is the kits were an accident, but a happy one and now he wants to roll with it? Even if so, relationships built on accidental pregnancies tend to be quite messy and I’m doubtful this one would stand that test of time in consequence. Especially if the two are rarely talking from fear other cats will put pieces together.
Redtail next. Redtail has... multiple personalities, it seems, entirely dependent on the book and who’s writing him. Redtail’s Debt and Leopardstar’s Honor both do him so fucking dirty and it’s heart-wrenching as a... uh... Redtail stan I guess
The former portrays him as an easily manipulated buffoon, one who has good intentions but whose desire to appeal to others gets in the way of them. Granted, throughout the book he betters himself in this regard, but it begs the question of why Bluestar would choose him as her deputy to begin with. When her next two choices are Lionheart and Tigerclaw, two warriors with steadfast beliefs and strong senses of duty... Redtail seems to stray from that picture. ALSO HE FUCKIN’ KILLS OAKHEART WHAT THE HELL
Actually, going to the wiki, I’m immediately met with a quote from Bluestar about Redtail from Into the Wild:
“Redtail was a brave warrior. His loyalty to ThunderClan could never be doubted. I always relied on his judgement, for it bore witness to the needs of the Clan, and was never swayed by self-interest or pride.”
His judgment is constantly fluctuating as needed to satisfy his superiors in this book. It feels in stark contrast to Bluestar’s judge of his character here.
More on that, it bothers me tremendously that the Erins would write a Redtail novella where the focus is on making Tigerclaw a moustache twirling villain (seriously, why did anyone trust this guy), and not on the relationship between Redtail and Bluestar. The original series leaves crumbs pointing to it, but we never get a great sense of it because Redtail dead
Then in Leopardstar’s Honor he’s just.. violent. Provokes Leopardfur into a fight for no damn reason aside from to be a little shit. And GOSH I hate it.
Anyhow like. I still like both these characters. I like how empty the canvases are for who they have to be, I love that I can just project onto them and 99% of the time it doesn’t contradict canon.
I headcanon that Redtail is a bit of an unbearable prick, he’s great at getting shit done but lacks flexibility, gets fussy when cats are late to patrols and stuff like that. He’s tactically smart, but not great at warming up to others (and doesn’t see the point if the task’s getting done anyway). As a mentor, is quite bossy and quick to annoy if his apprentice is struggling to understand his instructions.
Also he probably has autism but idk
Oakheart’s extremely sly, he has an edge on Redtail in that he’s charismatic, popular within his Clan (and probably most other Clans). His people skills aren’t super refined however, and he has a tendency to push too hard when teasing. Like, maybe he picks on Redtail for his small size thinking it all in good fun, but this leads to animosity that eventually boils over and requires honest convo to resolve. Oakheart does genuinely care about people but from Redtail’s perspective, at least at first, this is all just a manipulative tactic to look good and maintain authority.
Sorry at this point while writing my brain got a bit fried. Tl;dr I like this pairing. I don’t have a great reason for it I just think they’re fun and cute and shit
Also I wanna read more fics where Oakheart doesn’t die and becomes leader I think that’d be cool

In which Zilla talks about Shiro, her stupid passions, and her fears for the upcoming season(s).
Let me first preface this all by saying I am fully and openly admitting to my status as a huge, HUGE Shiro Stan, and as such I understand that while I might be trying to be as objective as possible, I do come from a standpoint of being very passionate about Shiro’s character, and admitting that bias is important. I also want to emphasis that everything that follows is my own personal opinion alone, and I do not expect others to necessarily agree or disagree, but know that this is just me talking about My Feelies and not me trying to push my opinions onto anyone else.
If you’ve followed me for long enough, you’ll know that Shiro is my absolute favorite character in VLD. So much so that he’s really my sole reason for being so obsessed with this series, so invested am I in his story, his character, and his interactions with his team. The team and ALL the characters as a whole are incredible, and while I absolutely appreciate the story and writing for each personality, Shiro is MY favorite and always the parts I look forward to the most.
That being said, I am once again dreading what’s going to happen to him in the upcoming season(s). From what Barlee said about S6 being extremely divisive (see her twitter @barleedraws), my old fear of them potentially killing off my most favorite character once again has bubbled up to the surface. Project Kuron has been taking a terribly long time to build up and pay off, and I’m honestly really quite tired and anxious to see the REAL SHIRO once again. He arguably has been missing from the series since the climax of S2, and only until that One Scene in S5 when he calls out faintly to Lance in Voltron’s astral grid do we see a glimpse of OUR Shiro since his disappearance from the cockpit of the Black Lion.
I am genuinely terrified that they’re going to kill him off, or somehow remove him from the Team. I’m terrified that they will take the Black Lion away from him. I’m terrified they’ll sideline him, and plop him into another role with less significance and meaning for his character. I’m terrified they will continue to harm him, as time and time again it’s been shown that he’s a bit of Dreamworks’ Paladin Pinata – the one character who is constantly, repeatedly, put through the wringer with no breaks whatsoever. He is the ONE Paladin we have absolutely no backstory about other than he was in the Garrison. We don’t know anything about his family, or who he was before the Garrison and his capture by the Galra, and we know nothing about his time WITH the Galra during the ‘Champion’ year. Every other Paladin at least has had some sort of mention or glimpse of family, except Shiro. He’s like a ghost. And he has not caught a break since. He went from being a tortured Galran prisoner to a lab rat experiment, to being harmed repeatedly by Haggar, to being forced into an Astral Plane fight with Zarkon, to being torn from his Lion at the end of S2, and now here we are again, with him being some sort of compromised sleeper agent/clone/android thing. He is quite literally the one character they’ve put through the wringer the most and hasn’t caught a single break.
This is devastating not just from the sheer amount of rollercoaster turmoil he’s been through, but because Shiro is just a really kind-hearted guy who wants nothing but the best for his team. He’s always been Team First, Self Last. He’s traumatized and suffering internally, he’s flawed and imperfect, but does his best to hold it together for his Space Fam because this Found Family gives him hope and meaning in a very painful life.
His bond with the Black Lion is probably my most favorite ‘relationship’ in Voltron. I would argue that nobody fought harder for their Lion than Shiro, who had to fight Zarkon for its soul in the Astral Plane and nearly died trying to earn its Trust the Right Way. He spent 2 whole seasons fighting for that Lion, for its trust, for its bond, for its connection – never through force, but through a mutual understanding of each other. Two whole seasons. Only to have all that hard work ripped away from him at the end of S2, after he won back the Black Bayard and unlocked those incredible Wings. He would have given his life for that Lion, and to see it all get taken away was devastating to me.
And now, with Project Kuron going the way it is, I won’t be surprised if the penultimate climax of it all is Keith being forced to fight Shiro and ultimately taking control of the Black Lion. While I understand that this is wonderful for Keith fans (and especially fans of the original versions of Voltron which ALL star Keith as the Black Paladin), for someone who came into VLD fresh and watched Shiro go through 2 whole seasons of pain for that Lion, the idea of the Black Lion being taken away from him and given to another is heart-breaking to me. Team Voltron, leading his team mates, earning the Trust of the Black Lion – these are all things that give his beleaguered life meaning, and to see him stripped of that is just devastating. Shiro is bonded to that Lion after all his hard work, and I sincerely feel that taking it all away from him is a massive disservice to his character and to all the fans who’ve watched him grow together with it.
Please understand that this is also not a dig at Keith. As mentioned before, Keith has historically ALWAYS been the pilot of the Black Lion, so it is very likely this is the way the story will go considering the history of the series and how Shiro had been grooming him for the role since the beginning. This is heart-breaking to me, a Shiro fan, but from a series’ history standpoint, it is a very likely possibility. I was always saddened by the whole Lion swap because despite it being a nostalgic nod to the original series, VLD is its own show now, and having spent 2 whole Seasons 1+2 emphasizing how important the Bond is between Lion and Paladin, to see that all get swept aside in favor of realigning the lions to their original pilot lineup for nostalgia’s sake was really disheartening. Lance bonded with Blue IMMEDIATELY and they were practically more friends than Paladin/Lion. He was a natural. And Keith... Keith earned Red’s trust when he showed him he would fight for him, and Red is the only Lion I recall ever seeing go after its Paladin without the Paladin’s impetus. When Keith was facing the Trials of Marmora, Red could sense him, and went for him. He rescued him from floating away forever in Space with Allura as well. Red KNOWS Keith. And Shiro and Black, well you know how I feel about their relationship. Each of these Lions chose their Paladin, and with how much emphasis was put on the whole Spiritual Bond between Lion and Paladin, seeing the Lions swap pilots so quickly at the beginning of S3 was really poor for me. It still doesn’t feel right to me, seeing everyone in swapped Lions. I don’t think it ever will.
That being said, yes, I am TERRIFIED of Shiro being stripped of the Black Lion and being demoted to a lesser role and eventually sidelined from his beloved Team. I’m terrified, once again, that they will kill him off. I’m terrified of seeing my favorite character be destroyed in one way or another, as that would likely end the show for me. I ADORE this show, but I openly admit I really am in it for Shiro and his adventures with his Team, and if he is removed or torn away, my enjoyment of this series will lessen greatly, if not completely. I know others with intense love for their favorites would understand, even if they wouldn’t admit to it.
.... I really honestly could go on and on and on, but I will cut it off here for the sake of not torturing you all with my Deep Shiro Conspiracy Theories. I really just had to get this off my chest as I’ve had it bottled up since I saw Barlee’s tweet about S6 being a wringer for fans. I’m a grown ass woman who loves a cartoon man so much that she’s been thinking of this day and night, and it’s pretty embarassing, but if there’s any place I can be myself, it’s here. So to those of you who’ve made it this far, thank you for that :)
I also want to emphasize something else. No matter what happens... whether Shiro has a wonderful fate or a terrible one... at the end of the day, I fully accept that this is NOT MY STORY. I hold no ill will towards the showrunners, the writers or any of the VLD staff whatsoever. They have a story to tell, they have jobs to do, and if this is the story they write, this is the story they write. They owe nothing to me or anyone else because it is not my story. Their vision is their own, and I’m sure fans will be divided no matter what, considering how divided they are when times are ‘good’! But at the end of the day I fully respect everyone’s hard work in creating this incredible series, even if it ends up not being for me any longer if Shiro is gone.
I also want say that, again, this is entirely my personal opinion, and it one coming from the viewpoint of a massive Shiro Stan. I don’t expect others to agree with me, and I fully appreciate that folks who prefer other characters will disagree completely. This is just me, needing to get something off my chest, as immature as it may sound. I thought I was long past the era of allowing cartoon characters to affect me this deeply, but I guess some of us just never grow up :)
Thank you for coming to my TED Whine :)
