One thing I find so interesting about the PJO fandom is how they actually accepted how Rick fucked up 90% of the goddesses. Even when he uses a version of a myth that specifically talks about men being idiots, he villainizes women. Like, no one complained about how fucked up is that he used the story of Hephaestus trying to rape Athena and turning it into a “poor guy cried bc he was rejected by a girl” thing?

The true story is literally Hephaestus trying to rape Athena, she fights him off but his semen falls into her skirt and cleans it with a piece of cloth and tosses it into the ground (earth, which is Gaia) and from there, Erictonio is born. And Athena raised the child as her own even tho he was the product of the assault she suffered. The guy ruled Athens.

Rick turned it into Hephaestus falling in love with Athena and crying on her lap, making her reject and KICK him plus being disgusted by the tears and the dirt.

He also used all of Ovid versions he could possibly find to fuck Athena up. Arachne doesn’t happen with Greek writers and Medusa was never cursed (or assaulted) when we talk about the OG Myth. She was already born a monster and Athena only helps Perseus kill her bc yeah, Medusa killed people.

Also, Medusa’s version by Ovid is a lot alike Cassandra of Troy story, and let me tell ya, Cassandra was cursed but it wasn’t by a woman. And when she was raped by Ajax, Athena made sure that he didn’t made it back to Greece.

Now I’m gonna talk about Demeter. Demeter, who had her daughter kidnapped, raped and imprisoned, and was turned into the typical “mother in law who hated son in law bc she thinks her daughter could do better” when yeah…she has all the right to feel angry bc her daughter was KIDNAPPED.

Artemis doesn’t hate men and her followers also don’t hate men. Feminism isn’t about hating men.

Aphrodite. I cannot even describe how dirty they made Aphrodite’s children. Like be fr one of her children helped build what it would’ve been Rome. He was a fighter. And her cabin there is just so different of what she is truly like. They should have a lot of other powers.

Also, a lot of women from the books follows the same stereotype of “omg I hate makeup it’s so girlish and I’d rather fight” like you can be feminine, wear makeup and STILL FIGHT. One doesn’t erase the other.

Another thing, but this one is about MOTHERS! I truly cannot understand the way Rick creates his women. I’m serious tho. Like, I’m sorry but sometimes it seems that his thing some goddesses (Athena, for example) are personal. The “abandoning Athens” thing, the “should’ve chosen Poseidon”, the way he wrote her as being cold towards her kids…in one of the versions, Athena was the one who saved Dionysus from Hera. She raised a child and made him a king even though he was the product of her almost rapist. She was there helping heroes all along. She fought for Odysseus for ten years.

Also, this fandom is incapable of seeing the difference between Minerva and Athena. Minerva gave Annabeth the mark, Athena had nothing to do with this. Annabeth is her favorite daughter, she made her architect of Olympus, protected her through her journey to find Luke and Thalia, disobeyed her fathers orders trying to help to find Annabeth, made battle plans with her and all…and she always claimed all of her children.

I think people just don’t like her bc she doesn’t trust Percy. And she shouldn’t. I love him, but Athena IS the goddess of wisdom after all and as such, it would be pretty dumb to trust a demigod that won a battle against the god of war when he was only twelve. Not to mention that everyone kinda thought the “preserve or destroy Olympus” was on his hands. And he tortured a goddess…I’m sorry but she was pretty much right. Wouldn’t trust someone that had the power to fuck me and my family up either. She dint made the choice based on “omg I hate my rival and his children” even more so bc she was trained by one of his children and bunch of grandchildren. She made the choice based on what she thought was less risky.

If she was so against Percabeth, I can assure you she would’ve killed Percy and probably wouldn’t even suffer much consequences. She admires some things about Percy but she was right about his flaw. And she also helped him during one of his quest to go to college. Does she loves the idea of the relationship? No. But that’s bc she is precisely the opposite of love. She doesn’t make decisions based on what her heart says, but on what her brain says. If she succumbs to the heart, then she would seize to be goddess of wisdom, reason and all of what she values. That’s why she vowed to never marry.

And, as Helenist, I do not take the myths that seriously bc when we talk about religion, I have a clear mind that those myth were made by humans who used the gods as a tool to justify some of their actions, and I hate almost all of the retellings that those authors do, but is so wild to see how much power they have on society bc now I cannot see anything about the gods without someone saying shit about them. But I do know all about the myths and I gotta say, doesn’t make much sense to use a Roman author to talk about Greek Gods. He made them dirty. Also doesn’t make much sense to use this versions of Ovid but still change it to make it more sweet for the men. Poseidon and Athena didn’t spend that much time beefing, they even have a city together (Troezen) and she definitely doesn’t hate his children. Her best friend was literally his grandchild.

Safe to say that y’all should probably question Rick on how he treats women bc I was seeing the PJO series (the cast is amazing btw, safe to say that Leah/Annabeth is my fav) and by the looks of it, saying on how he changed Athena’s personality one more time, I legit think that Annie won’t jump to save her friends on season 3, she will probably be pushed by her mother or whatever.

Another thing: apparently only the women that like and have a friendship with Percy are treated as cool. But that’s on the fandom, not the author.

I forgot to add one thing and I’m gonna fix the grammar later but the “this is for children” excuse isn’t really valid considering that we saw Gabe being aggressive with Sally, we also saw Ares being a jerk to Clarisse (which also doesn’t make sense) and the story clearly states cheating, fights, death and a lot of other terrors. If you’re gonna use a rape version of a myth bc you chose to fuck a Goddess up, then you should state that the man is to blame. In the books we see Medusa saying she was Poseidon’s girlfriend/lover…she was his lover on the og myth, not in the version Rick chose. In the version that he chose, she was clearly raped. But he erased that and replaced rapist with boyfriend. He could’ve chosen to do another path if he didn’t want to talk about sexual abuse, I can tell y’all a hundred of ways this could go, but he chose this path and changed it, favoring the man. Again.

He could’ve gone with the theogony and said what was there that basically is: she was a monster, BORN a monster, daughter of other two monsters, no one wanted to get close to her, but he did. They slept together in a camp of flowers.

Athena only enters the story wayyy after this. And, as y’all can see, no curse. Yet, he chose to go with the rape version were Medusa is a maiden, loyal to Athena, gets raped on Athena’s temple by Poseidon and Athena curses her. And what did the author do? He made this: Medusa, loyal to Athena, fell in love with Poseidon and they did things on her temple. Athena cursed her. Again erasing the men’s fault.

The hate on Athena doesn’t make any sense at all. Y’all love some other male characters that don’t have a single sense of responsibility and possibly did everything wrong in the book. I saw people condemn Athena for her treatment of Deadalus when the guy literally killed his nephew bc he was more praised than him. And Athena gave him a mark that burned and did some shit to teach him a lesson. Poseidon wanted a trial to avenge his rapist son that was killed by Ares bc he tried to rape one of Ares daughters. A RAPIST. And Poseidon is treated like and angel bc what??? He likes Percy? Is his father and got him a gift? And Athena is being hated bc she isn’t his number one fan and her Roman part decided to give Annabeth a Mark? And mind you she’s just like that with him bc she knows more than everyone else and knows that he is dangerous. A good guy? Yes, Percy is the most amazing guy. Still dangerous. Still had the power to torture a goddess and win against the god of war. And she doesn’t dislike him, she dislikes his relationship with her daughter. And even so, she didn’t stop the relationship. So yeah I won’t ever get why the women always get more hate than the men considering this.

Again, as a Helenist, I don’t take the myths seriously when I talk about the religion in general bc the Gods are superiors. They don’t have human flaws. But, as someone who knows about the myths, is safe to say I hate those stories that uses myths like that and turns it against the Goddesses and make them out to be the worst ever. All the gods deserved way better than what they got with those retellings.

I FIGURED OUT A WAY TO FUCKING MAKE THE IMAGE SMALLER FOR POSTING ON TUMBLR WITHOUT SACRIFICING THE ACTUAL QUALITY OF THE IMAGE OH MY GOD

Ok so, what I did is go into the clip studio paint file, make a new file, copy and paste the group in the original file, merge everything, get rid of the extra stuff outside of the canvas, and then make the flattened image smaller and crop the canvas. Once you have that, export it and you're done. This helps maintain the actual quality of the image and also helps shrink the file size down to something actually postable (if anyone has a better way of doing this please tell me)

[Edit]: Ok I guess posting something to Tumblr just naturally compresses the image a bit more somehow because I'm looking at it now and zooming in too much makes it a bit blurry so I'm still gonna have to futz around with image quality for future pieces oof

I'm so glad I figured out a way to do this because I like working on a big canvas so I can get as much detail in as I possibly can. Only problems are how laggy it gets while drawing lol.

I had an idea for a drawing with Reimu and Zanmu because I really like thinking about their potential dynamic a lot. I also wanted an excuse to draw Zanmu again but in my normal rendering style because last time I drew her she was in my more sketchy style with generally flat colours so I wanted to draw her again. Speaking of, looking at the sketch for this is a jumpscare that I never enjoy seeing, like, man am I glad I didn't use those for my final piece.

Also about her spear. I was originally gonna make it like the ones she had in game, but it kinda threw off the whole piece. It was too big, too blue, and too flat, so I just went "fuck it" and gave her a different one instead. My headcanon justifying this is that the ones she uses in game are for danmaku battles whereas in any other fight she just uses a proper yari, or she still uses the yari and just makes it all glowy to power it up, maybe both lol. I pulled as much inspiration as I could from Sengoku era spears, and even put in some blue into the decorative part of the spear and also added a little skull to pay tribute to the original spear. Also, in my research I saw some art of izanami and izanagi making japan and saw that the yari izanagi has had a little decorative tassley thingy on it so I took some inspo from that and just made it one of Zanmu's tassles (Idk when that art was from or if the spear was still accurate to Sengoku period Japan but hey, probably the same reasons Eirin puts little bow ties on her arrows, it's just for personalization purposes).

I love rendering hair and clothes so much omg, while I like the super curly hair Zanmu, the longer, wavier hair suits her better for this drawing (I imagine it only does that like how Ghibli characters hair moves when they feel angry lol). I love making Zanmu's hair all messy and crazy, as well as giving her grey hairs, this woman has aged like a fine wine. Also, if the hem on the ends of her sleeves, top of her shirt, and her pants look like gold to you, that's because it is! It's fairly light so she's not collapsing under the weight, but it's gold! (I don't care how impractical it is, it's just cool). Not the undershirt though, it's made of a gold fabric. I had a cute idea with Reimu's hair to make it have a red shine to it. I also changed up Reimu's outfit so it isn't just a blob of red. I like it a lot when Reimu's skirt and outfit is segmented into different layers, so I wanted to incorporate that.

I tried to draw their hands differently as well, but IDK how noticeable that is. Also, I am super happy with how the side profiles for the two of them turned out, I used to struggle a lot with how to make the side profile of a character actually look like the character, so I'm really happy that they actually look like themselves.

Also added in the tree and rocks in the background as an homage to Zanmu's character art in Touhou 19, just because I was getting kinda stumped on what to do with the background lol.

In terms of a story idea with Reimu and Zanmu, idk why but the potential plotline of Zanmu wanting to ascend to godhood is so fascinating to me. Like, it is very possible that if she just convinced everyone she was a god (which would be very easy for her to do), she would become one in a heartbeat. Also, if she were to become a god, with her ability to return stuff to nothing, could she hypothetically get similar abilities to (Jojo Part 5 spoiler btw) GER? Like, idk about the death timeloop stuff, but the concept has been haunting me every night as I have been trying to find loopholes in GER's ability for a while now ( for no reason in particular). Back to the main topic, I imagine that she would probably tell Reimu that if she were to become a god she would take over the Hakurei shrine since the god there might as well be dead, and Reimu just says to her, "Over my dead body bitch." Like, I have no idea how to summarize their dynamic but like, it's the type of hero-villain dynamic where the phrase "We're not so different, you and I" would definitely be a phrase said during a fight. I think that if another IN style game were to release, Reimu and Zanmu would be in a team together. They could also have an interesting mentor and pupil kind of dynamic. Can you tell that Zanmu has been charging my mind rent these part few months? Like, instead of living in my head rent free, she kinda just uno reversed the whole situation and now she's the one charging me rent. What happens if I get evicted from my own brain? Actually, scratch that, I don't think I wanna know.

“Targeting for Harrier. One point deducted. Reset!” 

A tiny part of Melina died when she heard the words. Nothing like Infuriated, she bit down on any response and gripped her sword tighter and held it up higher to her opponent. She threw her hand back down when she heard the bell’s signal for round over. Melina threw off her helmet and fixed whatever sweat soaked stray hairs were in the way of her vision. She gritted her teeth and forcibly held back the tears welling up. Get your act together. Quickly, she turned around and wiped her face off as she walked back to her starting position on the mat. After catching her breath and calming down she placed back on her helmet firmly with newfound strength.

She did a quick pivot around to look back at her new match partner this week. A boy from the Queen’s Academy. The mere mention of the school put a bitter taste in Melina’s mouth, fueling her anger even more. The boy himself was quite average at fighting, all things considered. Considering, from what she could tell, he was quite the hot-shot in the academy. Melina wet her lips in anticipation for the match to start. She might even win against this shrimply boy. She analyzed the boy in front of her further. After the moment's rest, he looked tired still, something she could use to her advantage. 

“Positions set. Match begin!”

Suddenly the bell across the room rang again. All Melina could see were flashing colors across her field of view. What she could make out was her target, which was all she needed right now. Locking in her sight, she struck in an opening made. Then–Hit! 

“Point to Harrier. Four to three. Reset!”

Melina knew she had this covered at this point. Melina smirked to herself, she loved to win against magic users. She knew they were all held back by not relying on it for everything. It gave her a great opportunity to humble fools like him for once. She got back into position and awaited further instructions.

The bell sounded off again. Before she knew it, she flew off her stance and towards her opponent. The swish of the blade from her hand to his was as silent as the rippling of her skirt as they twirled around the mat, silently battling one another against the music that played in her head. This time was a little harder, he seemed to be more prepared that last round. That’s fine. She can draw this out longer if that’s what he wants. The air around them heated up as their blades clashed together. Eventually, one would slip and take the win. Melina was counting on his exhaustion to get the best of him this time. Slowly, as it got more and more intense, she had whittled down her competitor to the point where she controlled the mat. With one decisive stroke to his chest, she hit him. Inside her helmet, her smile grew larger when she realized she won. 

“Harrier is victorious! With an amazing streak of 5 wins, can she even be stopped?” The announcer buzzed in delight.

She knew the answer was no, of course. Moments after, the room erupted. Applause consumed the whole arena. Melina smiled and took off her suffocating helmet, she sure did love the noise. All just for her. Overwhelming peace overcame her. Then, someone came over to ruin her glory.

“Good game, Harrier. That was a great match. I would love to do a few more rounds with you again sometime. ” 

Melina gave the boy back a hard eyed look. She furrowed her brows in annoyance at his words.

Her newly defeated opponent spoke again through a half-laughing tone, trying to brush off her glare, “You are very quick, I must say.”

"I know what I am, thank you. Now, I will take no more from you, consider this my mercy to you.", Melina snapped back at him. How dense could he be?

She threw down her helmet on the floor, almost hitting his feet and ran out of the room, determined and bright eyed.

Melina patiently waited for her parent’s enthusiastic conversation to end, but it kept going on and on. She tried to interject multiple times, but nothing would work. Finally, her mother turned her head over to face her daughter for once.

“You got a penalty. Clearly, you didn’t control the match and yourself well enough.” Her mother's face dropped immediately as she uttered out after a long period of ignoring Melina, then back to cackling as they returned to conversation. 

Melina stared at her shoes. Well, she wasn’t wrong. The penalty was on me. I need to control myself better next time. I can do better, much better. Both of Melina’s parents walked past her, avoiding her touch as they made their escape out of the room, not even acknowledging her for a second time.

She might have won the match. But really, she had lost. I mean, what kind of sane parents would appreciate having a daughter like that, one who messed up even her win?

OH BOY OKAY SO I haven't talked about my Warden in forever on here, and I don't think most people even know about her, despite her being like my nr 1 baby girl of all time

My Warden is a casteless dwarf named Nimri Brosca, and was the catalyst for both my dwarf obsession AND my love for height/size difference romances. Made a lot of self discoveries with that one lmao

Nim is a stoic little thing, with resting bitch face and the energy of a small, angry dog who'll bite your hand off unless you're her handler. She cares about exactly one thing, which is to keep those she loves safe and happy, and she'd let the world burn to ashes if it meant keeping Rica from harm.

She can be very cautious and calculating, a consequence of working under Beraht for years and knowing that any little mistake could have dire consequences, not only for her but for Rica too. Unfortunately she's also defiant and spiteful, which isn't the best combo with her goal of staying alive. Over the years she got pretty good at skirting the line, which got her into trouble more than once (and nearly got her killed if not for Duncan). Unstoppable force vs uuuh another unstoppable force.

After years of living in an abusive home, and with a sister who was busy just trying to keep everything afloat, Nimri quickly learned to be fiercely independent. If she needed something done, she would have to do it herself. This attitude follows her in everything, and she's kinda terrible at asking for help or depending on other people for anything.

So with being an aloof control freak and bit of a loner, it's probably no surprise it took her a while to open up to the other companions. In the beginning she stuck mostly to Alistair, who at the very least had earned her uneasy trust, and she didn't socialize much with the others. They had to really work at it to crack that shell, but most of them got there in the end.

Leliana's stories reminds her so much of the stories Rica would tell her to sleep at night, and their little "girl talks" are admittedly kinda fun. Morrigan's pragmatism and dry wit is something she can appreciate, finding a friend where she least expected it. Sten's stubbornness and strange ways infuriate her to no end, but she'd be lying if she said she didn't enjoy mentally sparring with him. And her out-of-left-field best friend Zevran, who may be the only one who truly understands her in ways no-one else can.

Then there's Alistair, the big, comforting, eager mabari to her small, angry dog. It takes her a hot minute to warm up to him, but they eventually fall into this easy friendship and she starts to relax around him. They sorta balance each other out, with her dogged pragmatism tempering some of his naivety and grounds him when his emotions run away with him, while his earnestness and goofy demeanor helps her open up and be just a little bit more vulnerable.

Nim absolutely loves and adores her mabari, Rabbit. I headcanon that the Warden actually got to hang out at Ostagar for a few days between the joining and the battle, and that Rabbit started following her around after he recovered from the taint, annoyingly enough. After doing her best to outrun and outsmart him for a few days she finally gave up, and discovered she quite liked having a dog. He never judges, never falters or betrays, loves her just as she is, and is always there whenever she needs him. Plus he won't give her shitty platitudes when she's crying her heart out while clinging to him like a lifeboat in a storm.

When she's not out fighting for her life she loves to draw and read, once she learns how. She's always had an interest in drawing, but never much chance to practice it, and she wouldn't have had access to many books even if she knew how to read. On the surface there's plenty of paper, both with and without words on them, finally giving her a chance to indulge in both.

Reading in particular starts taking up a large amount of her free time, after her companions so kindly teach her how. In the beginning she'd grab whatever she could, usually nabbed from the libraries at Redcliffe castle whenever they stayed there, but she eventually discovers her love of cheesy romance novels. They're so far from her own life, so idealized and alien, that they become the ultimate form of escapism for her. Though I do think it fries her brain a little bit when Alistair finally comes around with his own cheesy, romantic ways haha

Anyways I could probably go on for another 50 incoherent paragraphs here but I have to stop somewhere 🙈

° She is an red giant star! She tooks the MC place and has the energy electric center! A little (too) distracted , kinda impulsive and maybe reckless, but she has such a beautifull flame inside her and is so big-hearted.

° I based her design on how I looked when I was 14 a couple years ago. Whit the signature bun I had and my love for tank tops and bracelets (Till the dermatitis nation atacked)

I kinda gave them a color scheme of Black and White which I kinda didn't think of at first but here's a explanation for them now it's kind of like the Scarlet & Violet uniforms with White symbolizing a more focus on the terms of Truth focusing on studies involving understanding of Pokémon & Human connection with a primary focus on human understanding and needs while Black symbolized Ideal and focuses on Human relations, functions and Pokémon battling and sciences and then there's Gray or Whole that by the word itself "whole" it is a blend of the two which both Axel and Aero are a part of.

Alain... How do I get into them cause the only thing I changed or added are the straps all over their body and the wraps around their chest while also giving them more of a shao lin monk type of foot wear or something I was kinda spaced out when fully designing all of them here and you can probably see it anways fun fact I was actually watching a ABD vid on DB and just thought to myself "Hm... Monkey...Monkeee- MONK!" so yeah here's a Shaolin practitioner Alain.

Okay the happy and peppy gal herself Ariana like I said whilst explaining Alain I just started to blank out designing them after Axel but I didn't need to redesign Ariana cause her design's already good. Now all I did was add a strap on her to keep balls and a dex and gave her knee pads and took away her shoes and somewhat matched it with Axel's with the circle brand.

The best girl Crescent who we don't even know the actual name of as far as I remember I again kept her as she is cause she is perfect and I was blanking out and couldn't really think of a design other than making her mirror Aevia' with a sun hat and except of just a skirt I would've gave her a dress with some flowers in the whole design but I was just blanking out so you guys tell me if I should go back and make it and probably remake Axel's if ya don't like it.

Alright, well start from the top and move down.

First up! Nebula's head structure thingy. I wanted it to resemble Eclipse’s but not be a direct copy. So, I decided to have the two longer bits swoop forward as if she had hair. For her eyes, my original plan was to give her magenta colored eyes, but I didn't have the right color pen for the outline, so I had to make do with what I had. The next time I draw her, I'm gonna try to find a pen with the right color. You also might notice that she doesn't have black sclera like I said Darklings have! That's because when I was coloring her, I decided last minute to give Darklings the standard white sclera. My reasoning? I've seen quite a few Black Arms Shadow designs with the black sclera. If I say it's a Darkling trait, then why would Black Arms Shadow have it? So, I decided that the black sclera is a Black Arms trait instead! To top it off, I gave Nebula star shaped pupils. Eclipse's pupils are lightning shaped, so I decided to have some fun here and give Darklings some funky shaped pupils! :D

Next, let's talk about Nebula's clothes. I wanted them to be simple, long, and as much one piece of fabric as they could be. I figured the Darklings don't have many resources in terms of cloth, so they have to conserve where they can. Ponchos and wrap around skirts are very common for the females. In a similar way, I made Nebula's sandals very simple. It's really just a sole with a strap. Probably not the best for running around, but it's not like the Darklings are gonna be sent into battle any time soon. They're slaves that mostly just handle jobs on the inside of the Comet that the worker drones aren't suited for.

Now for Nebula's coloring! As I've said before, Darklings are usually colored with earthy tones that are better for camouflage. I wanted Nebula to have some light, warm browns to make her seem more motherly and approachable. I decided Darklings have two colors on their bodies: a main one and a secondary one that appears in patches across their scales. This kinda evokes the imagery of dappled sunlight streaming through the trees. It helped the Darklings blend in on their home planet.

Aaaaand, that's pretty much it! There are a few things I didn't cover here, but if you'd like to ask me about them, I'd love to answer! Hope everyone likes Nebula! I'm very proud of how she came out! :D Now, onto Deimos!!

I could not focus in school for the past day! My mind was on that night. The night I met him, Donnie. I kept looking at our texts from last night through out the day.

*sigh* Could time go by any faster?! My friend April snapped twice in my face. “GIRL!! What is up with you, you’ve been acting weird ever since yesterday. What happened…?”

I gave her that look that said ‘do I really have to tell you?’. “Yes, you have to tell me!” I have in after she used her ‘magic powers’. “Alright fine. So I met…Someone, well it-was a boy..” She gasped and yelled “A boy??!!?” I covered her mouth, and the whole class was looking at us!! Then went back to do their own thing.

^RIINNNGGG^ I got up from my seat quickly and practically ran out the door! I started walking home. With headphones on blast listening to Odetari. (or your favorite artist) I unlocked the door with my house key, and I soon as I open the door to my apartment-oop what. A surprise. (I said without a hint of sarcasm)

They were fighting—again went immediately into my room. I got my laptop and put on a show I liked so time would pass by quickly. My alarm went off at 7:55 so I could get ready. What I mean by getting ready is putting on my favorite hoodie with some leggings/jeans/skirt that matched.

I went to the rooftop that we agreed to meet at. He got there like 10s after me. “Hi Donnie, how are you?” I asked “I’m doing okay, kinda had a rough day yesterday.” He said “Why was that?” “Oh because we had to deal with some guys with feet on their faces. Yea i don’t know why either but they stole a bunch of paper.” I have a confused look he just said he will explain later.

We started to just get to know each other better. Apparently we are both into Tech/Coding/ inventing. Donnie showed me his battle shell which I thought was really cool. I told him I had some tech-y shoes. They were in my favorite color(s) they were able to keep small tools in them, and the shoes had anti-gravity so I could walk on walls.

He seemed very interested to n my inventions. The only person who really listened to me talk/show about my inventions was my mom. Donnie also told me about his brothers, they are very different from them. Rapheal their leader went In without plans, Michelangelo was prone to getting hurt, and his ‘Twin’ Leo always made jokes(and/or) puns during battles/fights/ missions!

Me and Donnie also had some good laughs. HE LAUGHED AT MY SCIENCE JOKES!! I said “Why did two red blood cells break up?” He tilted his head “Why?” “Because their relationship was in vein!” He said it was cheesy, and yeah it was, but he still chuckled at it.

Eventually we both went home. I entered through my window because I didn’t want to get caught by my Dad. My mom already knows I sneak out. She even said ‘can I even blame you, like I mean me and your dad fight all the time it’s fine by me just text me when you do ,okay?’ So technically it isn’t even sneaking out…!

DONNIE’S POV:

I never knew I would have some much in common with someone. Like she’s smart, good at coding, cooking/baking (she mentioned that) actually listens about my interests when I’m working in ‘Speech mode’ as Leo calls it. Y/n is also beautiful-wait what! Donatello Hamato get ahold of your self you just met her a day ago!

I wish I could have talked longer with her, but good things don’t always last forever. I didn’t even realize I was already at my lab until I stoped at the door. I could barely focus on work! Maybe I could try and go to sleep. I set my alarm for the morning.

✨Rayman Princess Designs✨

So these are early concepts or redesigns I have for the princesses because I feel like they all look too similar to Barbara. I was kind of a challenge but I kind of worked through the color palette of each of them as well as the location they are from. 

I’ll put the descriptions here: 

Barbara and Elysia

I didn't really change much for Barbara but I definitely did for Elysia. I go with the colors of each of the princesses. So this one is a strange but cute idea, but I like to think that Barbara’s and Elyisa’s parents were a Viking that fell in love with an orc queen. Both having similar interests with adventure and brute force. Hence why I gave Elysia more orc-like features here. She is a little bit more timid younger sister of Barbara who is more confident. But both sisters have a big heart of gold. They actually have the healthiest sisterly bond out of all the princesses I have here. I kinda gave Barbara orc-like teeth too, they're just not as visible as her sister’s.

Aurora and Twila

These two were actually tricky since they supposedly are based around fighting the toads in a bog-like area, with beanstalks and have appearances of Scottish warriors. So this took a little more thought, but I think it would be interesting if it were based around the fable ‘The Scorpion and the Frog’, making Aurora more frog-like since she lives in a swamp kingdom in which was invaded by toad creatures. For Twila I originally wanted her to be similar to a poison dart frog, but I wasn't sure if it would look good since she has the weirdest color palette of all princesses. I’m split between making her into a black widow (to give them more of an acrobatic advantage) or a scorpion. It kinda gave me an excuse to change her hair style. In my version they are step-sisters that are also rivals. Aurora is a loyal and trusting warrior whilst Twila is more of a resigned trickster.

Estelia and Selena

I haven't really changed much with these two. Except I had Estelia’s outfit more based on La Catrina, down to the bright red and orange dress. I used a hat decorated with feathers (based on the feathers from the original helmet), marigolds and sugar skulls. I think she would keep her bone club whilst giving Selena a scythe. As for Selena ~~best goth gf~~ I made her outfit more based on a modern day grim reaper. Giving her a reaper hoodie (similar to my other design for Voodoo Mama) but also gave her a violet skirt. They kinda have a more *strained* relationship. Selena was taken more seriously as a leader than Estelia (since Estelia is a party goer and a little irresponsible), they drifted apart due to their differences and favoritism among their people. This made Estelia more lonelier than ever (leading her to steal the forbidden spirit board and eventually summon Dalmiro in ‘Rayman and the Livid Eclipse’). Note that Estelia is more extroverted while Selena was more introverted.

Ursula and Emma

So at first I wanted them to be like mermaid spies. But I didn't really like how they looked. I still wanted to keep the spy outfits they have. Originally I was going to give them a design that mixed between the swamp monster and a koi fish. BUT I realized what would be more fitting if these girls are half octopus (since octopi are great escape artists apparently). I also gave them gear for them to throw both on land and sea. They have water pumps on their necks for their gills as well as tech to help them with their missions (based on Abe Sapien from Hellboy). Ursula is more stoic and an overachiever, pretty much the ‘golden child’ of the spy industry. Emma is sort of the opposite, despite giving great battle plans, she can be very clumsy in her missions and dojo practice. She was often not taken seriously by other spies for her less ‘intimate’ appearance (which is ironic because her bright tentacles are technically TOXIC since she’s based on a blue ringed octopus).

Olympia and Sibylla

So for Olympia I kind of give her more of an angelic appearance. Originally I was going to give her an appearance that is a mix between a Greek goddess and a biblically accurate angel but I feel like the multiple wings might be a little too much, but I’ll figure it out. Olympia can be a great sweetheart although she sometimes has an unaware ‘god complex’ as she’s half titan and/or god. Sometimes she’ll say things that can be hurtful unintentionally. She’s often lonely most of her immortal life on Olympus Maximus, so she doesn’t really know how to make friends. As for her distant Sister Sibylla, I gave her more of a hunter or brute-ish look, giving her an appearance of a huntress demigod. To top it off with the head of a previous Minotaur king after she’s been slaying Minotaurs and demons for centuries in the underworld. Making her kind of a “sadist” when it comes to battle.

They’re not completed as of yet but here’s some concepts I did so far

i’m only at chapter 7-8 btw and i’ve already spoiled myself half of the plot

i couldn’t choose between f!alear or m!alear bc their designs were.. something. i chose f!alear for my first run since i did the “same ingame gender as irl gender” thing (and it was an entire tradition for me at some point).

didn’t even reach chapter 6 and f!alear’s design was too much for me. i liked seeing her in a ponytail tho but i was not gonne be patient enough to change her class JUST for the ponytail. like girlie ik ur the divine dragon n shit but atleast try to not get your long ass hair pulled midway in battle.

idk who i should pair micaiah with so i just let her stay with yunaka. i never rlly used micaiah’s abilities for healing but i only used her to widen yunaka’s range w/ magic if she needed to chip in some damage to an enemy.

i always get tired at like the 7th turn in every battle and I just abuse celica’s warp ragnarok to beat up that one enemy to win the battle. somehow clanne still deals big damage w/o the engage boosts.

This one is still the most lighthearted so far. Dimitri's killing his uncle, Edelgard's killing her uncle, and Claude's fighting a cartoon villain. Who is his brother, but he didn't kill him so.
