BTW, showtime in my Pomni White AU is called "snowtime" because the AU is based off of the story of "Snow White and the Seven Dwarves"

by the last quarter of 1941, Chuck Jones’ Curious Puppies were a relic of the past. indicative of a less experienced, perhaps more cloying Jones whose Disney influences were worn on his sleeve. as such, this short serves as a regression of sorts, revisiting those same compulsions and tics and traits of his earlier works—all doused with a new, modern sheen to match his current directing style. here, the interminable chase for the puppies’ bone lands them in a winter wonderland that proves to be more problematic than initially realized

Okay! Okay! Okay! I loved Peach’s new game, so I had an idea. What would happen if the new villain came to kidnap Princess Mario from Peach?! I didn’t think that happed in the game. It was just a stupid idea in my head.

TADPW AU ideas: Prince Caine's programmed objective

Prince Caine was programmed to be a love interest since the day the game was conceptualized. Everything he cared to pay attention to had to involve Pomni White in some way, shape, or form. If it didn't have anything to do with her, then it didn't matter what was happening as long as he's happy with Pomni White.

Due to this behavior, he's constantly in a "honeymoon phase" where he's extremely passionate about spending as much time as possible with his programmed "true love". He didn't care who was playing with her avatar as long as he could meet the woman of his artificially generated dreams. As such, he's a lot more attentive and even defensive of Pomni White than any of the other characters (player or NPC).

However, despite being so in love with Pomni White, he doesn't often understand a lot of her problems. It was mainly due to his code preventing him from being anything other than being in love with her as well as being an AI. He usually tries to cheer up his love by giving her gifts or taking her on dates to see what she liked. He'd give her a bouquet of flowers, a love letter, a low-rendered puppy to keep as a pet, or literally anything just as long as Pomni White was happy.

However, when he notices Pomni White being sad, even with her gifts or going on their dates, he would sometimes worry if he's not doing a good job at the role he's best at. This would lead to him glitching out the entire area he's in, but only in a place that was far away so that Pomni White doesn't get caught up into it.

He doesn't normally know what he wants for himself if all he's ever made to be was a love interest. He doesn't know what exactly makes his true love so unhappy, which makes him unhappy. When Pomni White is happy, so is he. There isn't anything about him that isn't revolving around her except for maybe making adventures for the dwarf players to go on. Even then, he doesn't normally care about them when they go on their adventures as much as he does with Pomni White.

If Pomni White was able to go on any adventures for any reason, Caine would try his best to have the level keep her as safe as humanly possible, especially after everything she went through with the Evil Queenie and the Forest of Gloinks. Somehow, though, she always gets thrown into something that causes her psychological distress during these adventures.

Caine's inability to understand his true love's problems, added to his defensiveness towards her name and appearance makes him susceptible to causing a lot of problems for both his true love and the other players. Pomni White tries to keep him as sane as she possibly can, even though it makes her feel absolutely miserable while doing so.
