The old man stared at the snowman that had just so suddenly appeared around there. Both of them standing still as if they were having a statue challenge, before the Moaner begun to take a sniff around the frozen golem for who knows what reason, before fixating on it's carrot nose.

This was a free snack to him no matter how much effort the person that built this thing had put into it. He smirked, quickly snatched the carrot without a second thought and backed off, back on his way to the bus, and proceeding to give it a good munch, biting off half of the vegetable.

"Hh,,,hhhheheheh...ooh how cold it is...waugh...Billy got th-..the snowman's nose, all for me..meheheheh..yum" he muttered to himself.

Jack was doing his usual rounds; he went from house to house and waited for a few minutes at each one. This time he stopped at one that was close to a busy road where buses would pass through and drop people off.

If anyone promising stopped by he would simply melt when the time was right and follow him home. It was a deep winter so if he formed and then melted away nobody would notice.

Then an old man began to approach him.

A pretty easy catch. Maybe too easy?

While Jack was lost in thought, the old man orbited around him, the snowman struggling not to react. He was used to people touching him and getting too close for comfort but this guy was giving him the heebie jeebies.

He went from uncomfortable to pissed real fast. That was his nose! And this geezer was eating it!

Jacks next choice was...a little more dangerous. He melted into a puddle of water the moment the man walked off, not even looking to see who was watching.

If he couldn’t kill him he could at least make the ancient bastard slip and break a hip..
