The magic of Majoras Mask is trying to comfort characters who are grieving their future through little acts of kindness. Like, the simple but layered juxtaposition of the joy of marching the chicks around on the third day to a little ocarina tune while the game vibrates every few minutes to signify that the moon is closer and closer to falling....

Something interesting I've noticed is that this scrub specifically uses the Terminian business scrub design, which so far has only been used in Majora's Mask. The business scrubs in the Oracles and Minish Cap have used the same sprites as regular Deku. And in Ocarina of Time, they look like this

Does this mean anything? Probably not. It's likely just that the MM scrubs are the most iconic. Am I going to hope that maybe there's a sliver of a chance the game will take place in some kind of Link to the Past Termina or that the portals will be a sort of gateway to other dimensions? Mayhaps.

What I would give for a remake of these old zelda games 😭. I just spent 20 minutes running around in snowhead temple (mm) wondering what I was missing only for the answer to be the first thing I thought of, but the game was slightly glitched. Not like I have a time limit or anything 😭

Been playing Majora's Mask but I'm so tired and achy so I keep messing up and I'm just like ... this is the reason I'm gonna die over.

First time playing Majora’s Mask since 2015 and this memory of Snowhead and all the fairies flying out of my pockets during the time reset cutscene has been haunting me since.

This time I got to the second room and had to leave to buy arrows because drops weren’t giving me any and I’m not about to double my backtracking in this damn temple just for fairies because I can’t pop the bubbles. We only play with peak efficiency in this household 👍

Both times I have played Majora’s Mask I have had a hard time not falling off of everything in Snowhead Temple for whatever reason. The first time I played it I actually ran out of time and had to start the cycle over and come back.

This time I finally finished Snowhead Temple early on the night of the third day and had gotten all of the stray fairies. 

And I forgot to take them to the fricking fountain before I went back to the first day. 

So I had to go back through pretty much the entire dungeon again and ended up having to use more than one cycle to finish it this time too.
