I ALWAYS THOUGHT THE LILIUM FAMILY LOOKED LIKE THEY WEREN'T RELATED😭😭😭
NAH BUT BE FUCKING FOR REALLLLL literally none of the family members look related other than the stolen Noel (Frostbite) design.
Plus I really hate to say this but Peafowl's older design looked like a genderbent version of Snowdrop, or like a sibling. Thank god they don't anymore JEEEESUS.

What story does Krystie have? Like is she a girlfriend to Razberry, childhood friend, Pastels friend or anything?
BRUH WTF MY BRAIN GAVE ME “Gf to Razzy” FOR LIKE 0.01 SECONDS WHILE I WAS PISSING EARLIER Top 10 reasons I hate my brain
But no she’s non of those
She’s Snowdrop’s childhood friend, she’s a spoilt child that’s very smuggy and will step on you She used to be a stuck up brat when she was younger but Snowdrop helped her to not be so bratty so when she grew up she just always remembered what Snow said so SHE’S STILL SPOILT but she’s aware of it if you get that?
Sadly I don’t really have anything for her so she’s just a small fun character for me <:’) She looks after the Lilium’s family’s chickens when they pass 🥺 Yes they had chickens but I never posted about it because I never remembered lol But now u know

Goliath beetle- favourite bug right now? Tropical woodlice- favourite food? Giant huntsman- where would you most like to travel to? Honeybee- favourite flower?
Goliath Beetle: Favorite bug right now?
This is literally the hardest question of the lot. Hahahaha. If I can generalize to an entire order, then isopods. I don’t think I can be more specific, it’s just too hard. They’re all sooo cute.
Tropical Woodlice: Favorite food?
Tacos!!!! Tacos tacos tacos.
Giant Huntsman: Where would you most like to travel to?
The UK, because castles, and also because there are castle-to-castle horseback riding tours. Heck yeah. (Also it’s one of the few places I’d like to travel where I think I could actually handle the temperature and weather.)
Honeybee: Favorite flower?
Hmm, that one is hard too. My favorites tend to be spring flowers, especially early spring flowers, but there are so many amazing ones.
My favorite garden flowers are lilac, wisteria, bleeding hearts, fritillaria, hellebore, snowdrop, lily of the valley, irises, and columbine.
My favorite native flowers are Pacific bleeding heart (Dicentra formosa), wild ginger (Asarum caudatum), woods rose (Rosa woodsii), Nootka rose (Rosa nutkana), Oregon iris (Iris tenax), Douglas iris (Iris douglasiana), bunchberry (Cornus unalaschkensis) and western lily (Lilium occidentale).
I also love any parasitic flowers like Indian pipe (Monotropa uniflora), Pacific coralroot (Corallorhiza mertensiana) and snow plant (Sarcodes).
And any flowers that turn into delicious edible berries. >_>
Of indoor and tropical flowers, orchids are my favorite, especially miniature orchids and “weird” orchids.
My dad has enormous clumps of almost-black bearded irises in his front yard that my sister planted forever ago, and we’re going to divide it this fall and split it up among the three of us. It’s going to look great in my front “strip” garden that has black columbine and orange poppies.

on that note:
its probably my responsibility to also inform you that you should NOT be munching on flowers that you see in the wild
flowers like daffodils and that extended family (snowdrops, paperwhites) are super toxic. people have died eating them
hyacinths are toxic too
day lilies (hemerocallis) and lilies (lilium) are VERY different
one is nice fried and the other is toxic so
and dill creates very similar flowers (umbrella shape) to certain plants that are super terrible such as wild parsnip, GIANT HEMLOCK, and cow parsnip. They have a sap that is reactive to light and burns
and other flowers such as olianders and foxglove are also gnasty so
Yes plz! In my culture we eat some but I’ve always been curious about others
yea sure! im not too sure about the flabour of some because some are peppery sweet and others have different flavours
dahlia petals are edible
rose petals (DONT use florist roses, use the inner petals of more wild varieties)
violas
borage
calendula
lilac
malva
coreopsis
nasturtium
clover
marigold
cornflower
day lily (do NOT eat the genus lilium or oriental or asiatics they are toxic)
chamomile
feverfew
chive
bergamot
lavender

Step-by-step: Bulbs, Corms, Tubers and Rhizomes That Are Dangerous for Pets
//pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/js/adsbygoogle.js

best –
Thinkstock
Ingesting the bulbs of flowers like hyacinths, daffodils, snowdrops and tulips can cause bloody vomiting and diarrhea.
Springtime flowers are beautiful, but some are potentially dangerous to our pets. The “bulb” plants can be toxic. Botanically speaking, flower bulbs come in many forms: true bulbs, corms, tubers, tuberous roots and rhizomes. With some bulb plants, only the part below the ground is problematic; with others, it is the whole plant. The plants discussed in this article are toxic to both dogs and cats unless otherwise specified (some are toxic only to cats), but keep in mind that just about any plant material, even grass, can cause mild stomach upset if eaten and a pet is sensitive to it.
True Bulbs
Most true bulbs have a papery skin and look similar to an onion. These are plants like daffodils (Narcissus sp.), tulips (Tulipa sp.), hyacinths (Hyacinthus sp., Muscari sp.) and snowdrops (Galanthus sp.). These plants contain compounds that are irritating to the gastrointestinal tract. Ingestion of the leaves, stems and flowers (i.e., the above-ground parts) may cause mild stomach upset, while ingesting the bulbs can cause bloody vomiting and diarrhea.
Lilies (Lilium sp.) are true bulbs without the papery skin. All parts of the lily are potentially deadly to cats, as they can cause vomiting and kidney failure. Examples include Easter lily (Lilium longiflorum), Oriental lily (Lilium orientalis) and Japanese lily (Lilium speciosum).
Corms
Corms look very similar to true bulbs but are missing the onion-like rings when cut open. Corms are a bulb-like organ that stores the food needed to produce the flower. Common corm plants include: crocosmia (Crocosmia sp.), gladiolus (Gladiolus sp.), freesia (Freesia sp.) and crocus (Crocus sp.). With ingestion of the above-ground parts of these plants, mild gastrointestinal upset can be seen. The corms are more irritating than the above-ground parts and can cause bloody vomiting and diarrhea.
Tubers
The tuber plant pet owners may be most familiar with is the potato. Tubers are just enlarged underground stems. Common flowers that grow from tubers include: tuberous begonias (Begonia tuberhybrida), cyclamen (Cyclamen sp.) and anemones (Anemone sp.).
Tuberous begonias contain soluble calcium oxalate crystals with the highest amounts being found in the tuber. In dogs and cats, these crystals can cause vomiting and drooling if ingested. Grazing animals (horses, cattle, etc.) can potentially eat enough to cause kidney failure and death.
Cyclamen plants contain terpenoid saponins. These are soap-like compounds that can cause stomach upset in dogs and cats. Large ingestions of tubers from these plants by grazing animals can cause heart rhythm abnormalities, seizures and death.
Anemones contain protoanemonin throughout the plant including the tuber, which is a blistering compound that can cause pain and sores in the mouth if ingested.
Tuberous Roots
Tuberous roots are enlarged specialized roots that store food for the growing season. Examples of tuberous root plants are dahlias (Dahlia sp.), daylilies (Hemerocallis sp.) and sweet potatoes (Ipomoea batatas).
Dahlias and sweet potatoes are considered to be nontoxic, but remember just about any plant material can cause mild stomach upset if eaten.
Daylilies are edible for people, but deadly for cats. All parts of the plant can cause vomiting and kidney failure.
Rhizomes
Rhizomes are specialized stems that grow sideways underground, and some are used for food storage for the plant. Common rhizome plants include: iris (Iris sp.), lily of the valley (Convallaria sp.), canna (Canna sp.) and ginger (Zingiber officinale).
Irises contain gastrointestinal irritants that can cause burning in the mouth, gagging, vomiting and diarrhea.
Lilies of the valley are highly toxic plants and contain cardenolides that affect the heart. Ingestion of the plant (even water from the vase) can cause vomiting, low blood pressure, irregular heart rate, seizures and death.
Cannas and ginger are considered to be nontoxic, but again keep in mind that any plant material can cause mild stomach upset.
Whether you are planting bulbs in your yard, forcing them inside or cutting them for bouquets, make sure your pets do not have access to the plants. Prevention is important, especially for bulbs. Make sure to store them in safe places. It is also important to keep the labels that contain the Latin names, just in case your pets do decide to sample some of the plant.
Call your veterinarian if you suspect your pet has eaten any of the potentially toxic plants listed here or is exhibiting gastrointestinal signs such as vomiting or diarrhea.

if you could rewrite shadow colours, how would you do it?
-Remove lots of stuff from the Goatasi: Near immortality is incredibly unnecessary, anti-aging magic also wasn't needed at all because it looks like an excuse for Mel to not draw middle-aged and elderly characters as their actual age (plus you can't look younger than your age without genetics being involved,) turn the entire species back into being a hybrid, make the Goatasi infertile (a huge risk that's involved the hybridization between a pegasus and a goat in-universe.)
-Snowdrop and Peafowl adopting their kids because of the prior being infertile, and out of the kids is Pastel. (Peafowl is just a regular goat named after peacocks because his markings looked reminiscent to peacock tail feathers, ans no, these two weren't married by force in this idea, Snowdrop had a forced marriage before getting with Peafowl, but it fell apart because Snowdrop couldn't have children.)
-Make Pastel a Colden Star, but because of the war on her planet, she had to run off to another dimension, and barely remembers her biological family members, as well as her best friend, St★rdrop, because she was so young when it happened and she's forgotten their faces. She doesn't even remember how to use her powers anymore due to the fact she's been stuck in this realm for a long time, and never used her magic.
-AK-47 being the child of Nicole and Dominik, but the latter's an incredibly absent father, because he got arrested for experimenting on and torturing children, slave work, and isolating his workers.
-Remove the stolen designs of Noel (Frostbite) and Hallow (Bronze) and replace them with Leo, Mei, and Narla. They all got to meet each other somehow without all that child death involved, you know.
That's all I got for now, I'll reblog with more ideas if more pop up.

oh hey hello hi, so question ; Does the Lilium family go to a somewhat of a private school? Like- since Snowdrop has- uh- "fancy" parents or some shit, did she go to a private school? And did her kids have to? (I'm asking because of the uniforms but I know some public schools have uniforms So- sjsksbdmdbsb)
Yeah they did,
Snow did go to a private school herself, her kids don’t have to go to a private school but she doesn’t mind
And yeah in Australia all schools have uniforms and it makes me saD

Wait, did Mel really write these questions? I only knew about Nadia's abuse
Yeah, she did. And I got the post link for Snowdrop being abused by her parents (especially Fern, don't mind Spirala's old name being Periwinkle, huge TW for child abuse by the way. It's literally so fucking upsetting and nasty.) but the CSA comic and the Pastel abusing 🍊's character are incredibly triggering and so viscerally disturbing that I can't even look at them.

Same anon from before, the slavery part really gets me because it's so clear Mel didn't thought a lot about this, adding a bunch of stuff in the factory because sounded cool and """"edgy"""" regardless of serious implications
As far as we know, the factory has: child labour, slavery, child soldiers, straight up torture of children and i won't be surprised if child trafficking was involved too (Why only kids oh my fucking God)
Mel is not mature enough to write stuff like this. Period.
If i was her? Either scrap the factory all together or just make it an evil lab that tests on kids to study magic
EXACTLY. Mel is literally not emotionally mature to handle serious topics like this and it really shows. Especially with the abuse comic that she made with Pastel and 🍊's character, and a very uncomfortable video and another comic that involved another character from 🍊 and Nadia, that had 🍊's character that openly depicted as a child sexual abuser, another character from 🍊 straight up abusing Peafowl, and Fern (Snowdrop's Dad, not the IRL one) slapping Snowdrop before she got into the forced marriage with Peafowl and him and Spirala screaming at her for interacting with someone who isn't a goatasus when she was a child, these four subjects being when she was 13-14, I believe.
She literally hasn't changed since she was 13-14, and neither has her writing. Instead, she just got worse and worse because of her lack of knowledge on these subjects and she doesn't have the maturity to handle the topics she puts in her story, and it feels like she's putting stuff in for shock value with no real care.
She literally cannot handle all of these things maturely: Child labour, child soldiers, slavery, kidnapping/abduction, drug/alcohol addiction, CSA (Child Sexual Abuse,) suicide, religion, physical abuse, child abuse in general, child experimentation, torture, racism, and child death.

can we start talking about how boring goatasus is? Like sure goat with wings and magic wooo but what else is there....?
Well they aren't just boring, they have weird stuff going on, like goatasi not being allowed the same brooch/markings, which I guess it would be easier to tell characters apart, but then again, it's not like people have doppelgangers, and Mel probably doesn't know that exists.
The brooch is weird because the brooch is somehow attached to the head immediately upon birth, like how the HELL does that even stay on them when they look like they're supposed to be physically separated from the body? And the seasons thing feels so unnecessary as well, because every time I look at the Lilium family, I legit see no trace of genetics other than for Snowdrop's mother, father, and sister. Do goatasi even HAVE genetics? Who fucking knows, because Mel surely won't tell us anything unless if it has to do with hybrids.
Plus not to mention the anti-aging thing with the magic, and I'm assuming this is because Mel would rather draw younger characters instead of elderly or middle-aged looking ones, and I'm pretty sure the only way you can look younger is if you are taking good care of yourself, or just have pretty good genes, but for goatasi, THEY SHOULD BE ALLOWED TO AGE WITHOUT THE MAGIC MAKING A WEIRD "LOCK" THING.
And what about, I don't know, SEXUAL DIMORPHISM? Because I legit can't tell goatasi apart because normally, goats have horns unless they're naturally hornless, or “polled,” with the male having larger horns while the female has smaller ones, but ALL GOATASI OTHER THAN AK-47 ARE POLLED/HORNLESS.
And we still do not know jackshit about AK-47's hybrid stuff or why he looks the way he looks, or why he has horns when apparently goatasi are naturally polled.
