Vasco has an Irish accent, and there's nothing you can say to convince me otherwise.

I've always imagined Machete sounding something like Skeletor (thinking of that previous ask), but not so raspy and cartoonish. Perhaps something a bit smoother, softer, like Snitter from the Plague Dogs.

I'm astounded that there's now several people who have been imagining Machete sounding like Skeletor. I don't know what to do with this information.

I recently read The Plague Dogs and was enamored by this one little scene

maggots & flies, maggots & flies the water smells of death like filled lungs, bloated

and blood, so much blood spilling from the master’s heads

my head, oh, my head the flies have escaped & the sky is loud & everything is blurry like my legs, unable to move too cold, too cold

man tried to freeze us to death but we keep running we keep swimming, swimming till the world grows dark till we step ashore, safe

just up ahead, there the place that doesn’t exist not in a world like this

just stay with me, you say i’ll get you there. hold on, hold on

the world is quiet now the water is calm

here, on our island.

My designs for the two main characters in Richard Adams’ The Plague Dogs!

I’m really very happy with these. Snitter was a challenge for me due to the face shape of fox terriers, but I like how they both came out! It’s pretty much how I envisioned them both during the story, so I’m happy to be able to draw this.
