Honestly knowing that we are getting an art book for amphibia and a graphic novel makes me really hope we get some more content to expand upon the world of matt would be fine with it ofc.

Honestly one of the main things I would love to see is like an encyclopedia of the world of amphibia from how the frog newt toad biology works to how other creatures see work in a biological sense especially the snirds there should be a whole section to how exactly the snirds work.

Maybe the first half of it could be stuff we see Marcy working on as we know she was making a catalog of all the flora in amphibia she came across and maybe the second half can be written by sprig as he explores and documents the world of amphibia and all it's creatures like we see him doing during the time skip. And maybe the last half could be both sprig and Marcy working together if the ending of Marcus journal is anything to go by.

I really wanna see Marcy's notes on Newt brains and some info on how the hell snirds work like come on man your just gonna drop snirds on us and not explain that stuff.

The oddity of Ho'olheyak's base skill

Ho'olheyak allows you to perpetually generate only Clue 1 (Rhine Lab), if you so desire. She probably just walks into Rhine Lab HQ, goes into someone's office, takes an entire file cabinet and leaves, but I don't really care about the details. I've given Ho'olheyak a blank check to do whatever she likes in my name. I've been to Columbian prison once already and I can handle listening to another of Kal'tsit's lectures.

Anyway, I was talking about clues. The point of this base skill is to allow you to steadily accumulate 11 Clue 1s and then dump then on an unsuspecting fellow doctor. This is the core purpose of the clue sharing system after all. But this skill also presents an issue.

Giving someone 3 Clue 3 is funny. Giving them 5 Clue 3 is even funnier. The amusement factor goes up exponenitally the more you have of them and a big part of this lies in the commitment to the bit. You don't know when you'll get all these clues, it's largely random after all. You can somewhat influence it with certain operators, but you're still at the mercy of uncertainty.

In comes our favourite Snird and slaps down Clue 1 one after the other. However, this act takes out some of the gest of this jesture, because you know exactly how long it'll take to get all 11 of them.

Ho'olheyak knows this. For once, she is not the committer of shenanigans, but the facilitator. By doing her job, she allows me to shower my colleagues in a flood of Clue 1 specifically, but through her method she also diminishes the effectiveness of it all. As such, in allowing me to commit shenanigans, Ho'olheyak commits shenanigans unto me.

In the end, she always wins.

Fuck Disney.

That’s it that’s the post.

Very much fuck disney.

They canceled The Owl House.

They hardly advertised Amphibia and did nothing to stop the True Colors leaks.

They wouldn’t allow Alex Hirsch to put queer characters in Gravity Falls until the last episode, and even then it was speculative.

They wouldn’t let Daron Nefcy give queer characters speaking lines in SVTFOE unless it was their last appearance, and even then they were side characters - one of them had like three words as lines.

And still, they put The Owl House in their pride section, they put Amphibia in their pride section, they put Gravity Falls and SVTFOE in their “pride” section because acknowledging our existence is “being an ally”. Yes, it really is being a good ally when you don’t even put a non-binary character’s proper pronouns in the subtitles. It really is being a good ally when you don’t even know the ship name of the most progressive queer ship in the history of disney. It really is being a good ally when you put three colors in a heart and proclaim that “representation”. 

It isn’t.

Fuck disney. Put that in your tags. Fuck disney.
